But it's not certainly kind of at the bottom of the list With times three Dog night little overplayed. Alright, So let's talk about stocks. How are they looking? All right. What was the moment Futures are pointing a little higher? I've seen a lot of direction shifting this morning, but the Dow futures are up 28 points of the moment. Didn't have a lot to show for yesterday's session. Stocks were narrowly mixed. At the end, the Dow and the S and P 500 both gained 1/10 of a percent. The NASDAQ finished with a two point loss. Didn't even move the meter when it comes to percentages. All right, so I don't know about where you are, but here in San Diego, many of us are equity rich Which doesn't mean a whole lot. But when you you know, but go ahead, you know, the North East and the West are the are the biggest regions for company urged homeowners being equity rich. Ah, Third of the homeowners were at the end of last year, according to Adam Data Solutions, and that means homes were worth at least twice as much as what was owed on the mortgage. The report says the number of equity rich properties increased in the fourth quarter, thanks in part to low interest rates. That is true. All right. Global shortage of computer chips. Yeah, and, uh, San Diego was is right there. Ground zero it It's not just another industry problem. Qualcomm of San Diego, the world's leader and smartphone chip says it is struggling to meet demand. The company's incoming CEO, says the shortage in the semiconductor industry is across the board now. All comes overseas suppliers have just not been able to adjust to the huge rebound in demand. They're going to deliver things from Amazon. You so far. We haven't seen any of that yet. And now we're talking about using them is firefighting tools. Google looked into this explored the possibility of using drones, but it has since abandoned this effort. The company's climate and energy research group asked the Federal Aviation Administration for permission to test drones it wanted to determine whether they could be used to help monitor and control fires. Presumably, these would be wildfires. Google intended to fly the drones over a private property in California, a company spokesman says. At this point, there are no plans to restart that project. Okay, let's talk about the cost of shipping. Yeah, cos all around the world complaining about this. The cost of shipping has soared their delivery delays. This is ocean shipping that we're talking about. Primarily, the National Retail Federation is asking for help from lawmakers and regulators. Colgate Palmolive Boot Barn and other American firms are concerned about supply strains, overwhelmed ports and container shortages along key routes are among the reasons for the bottlenecks. "Welcome back to handle on the law marginal legal advice. Hello, Mary. Welcome to handle on the law. Yes, ma'am. So I'm gonna synopsis it. Nine year old Dad has gone to the bank on 12 different occasions. They separate what? Two different wires on four days, etcetera for grand Total of $557,000. The bank called me because I'm a co signer of the count basically says he's uh Do you know anybody in Thailand? No. And he had called my dad between where 89 and told him he was out of money, and then they hit his personal account. One. Do we have any recourse against the bank? And the second question he has a will. That was put up that is written by an Arizona attorney, And he's saying I think he has more Arizona things in there in California, so such as the P away because we know we need to do a pee away. Eyes, the P away and a primary doctor can consider him or convict. Clear him in confidence. Yes, the doctor. Yes, A doctor can conclude the ID can declare him incompetent. Yeah, The court has to make that determination. But that's not hard to do. Now. You're talking half a million dollars stolen out of his accounts, right? And the count. And, uh now there was their transfers before that were done of magnitude. No. Okay, then, ever, I'd go well, the bank's gonna fight it like crazy. But the argument is transfer $500,000 without even calling and finding out. Now in my business, I've transferred some pretty healthy about amounts of money. First of all, Here's what my bank does before they will transfer a wire fund at all. Have to walk into the bank and I have to sign it. They will not accept a wire transfer unless I physically walk in, and he physically walked in, and he's the one that did the transfer. Correct. Oh, then there's nothing that he can do. He's the one that did it. Yeah. Oh, yeah, That's why I'm saying totally against personality type 100%. Well, then, he you know what? It's his money. He got screwed. He didn't take care of it. And how many kids are there, Mary? 33. Well, what's three into 660,000 something? You just lost that? Yeah, I know. We are distinctly. That s O now. Okay, so the money is gone, got cleaned out. He's the one that signed the wire and even you see if it was available. You can ask for it back as he had dementia because he didn't have the ability for the money is gone. It's a totally Yeah, So there's s oh, that's gone. It's you'll never see it. On and then you're dealing with dementia. Yes, A doctor can do it and will in Arizona can be probated in California. They'll just use Arizona law. I thought in California was two doctors have to declare him incompetent. I don't know. I am not okay. You know, I've never had a problem. You know, I'm full of incompetent people in my family, So that's I've never had a doctor. Deal with it because number one. Yeah, So that's just a cost of doing business in my house. John. Hello, John. Hey, Bill. My mom lives in the North East Valley. There's a homeless camp behind her house on the you know, on the wall behind her house faces the street. There's a sidewalk there. Now to sell that house. No, nobody's gonna want to buy the house. The homeless camp behind it. So this is affecting the value of the house is causing. Yeah, you know, it's causing a problem. So who city I've called the city. They won't do anything about Any of Los Angeles. So what recourse do we have? What? What should we do this? It's ridiculous. I mean, half the land and California's owned by the government. Why can't Why did they have to do on the sidewalk behind my mom's house? Okay, a couple of things. First of all, I think your mother is very lucky that when you complain to the city, they don't force your mom to turn the keys over to the homeless people and say Here, you won't Mom's house. Here's the problem and that is you've got politics and you have the law. Let's start with politics because that's probably the most important political correctness means you can't toss out the homeless because everybody is truly concerned with the homeless in California. As a matter of fact, when Gavin Newsom came into office, he said the most pressing issue that existed was homelessness. And he had to deal with homeless and the way that the state the city the county deals with homeless is to throw money at the homeless situation to get into housing. Permanent and temporary housing, and they'll never be enough money ever too. Put people off the sidewalks and put him into shelters for a couple reasons. First of all, half of them don't want to go into shelters and will not go and the other half there's not enough money. It's just a drop in the bucket. So now let's talk about the law. There have been lawsuit there has been lawsuit after lawsuit. And the A. C l U gets involved in the court cases are on public property. Actually, city ordinances and judges have said if they're on public property vacant camp out on sidewalks wherever the hell they can. Now there've been a few where they can't camp out in front of your door. Blocking egress and tigress and you dress Do I have that right close, But that's about yet. In the meantime, they have the right. It's a First Amendment issue. They have a right to sleep there, so you're screwed on all grounds. And Diminuendo Asian of value That's been tried and it's going. No place s. Oh, it's it really is. The federal government and the state government own half the land in California. Why can't I don't understand why they have to be because of the politics and those lawsuits. That's why because the homeless arm or important than home values now how does the government own the sidewalk on you're my near your mom's property. It's federal land. No, it's City Land is in the lean. There's a sidewalk. There's a street sidewalk wall. How you're talking about the city itself. The sidewalk is owned by the city. I got there living on the sidewalk. Yeah, and that's what I'll get it. And that's what the cases unfortunately, are saying and the court cases they have a right to do that. And even when the police are here's another one Even with law is being infringed upon. The cops don't go out and do anything. So there's a third element politics the law the cops don't want to enforce. They've got other issues because of the anti police sentiment that's going around. Unfortunately, Mom is screwed on it. It's just it's a very I know..
