"I have an interesting piece from Grover norquist over Fox business Where he talks about not just how the Biden administration is ignoring the problem but they are actively trying to make the problem worse He has an article called 5 problems with the Biden inflation plan I would argue they're not problems Again it's not a glitch It's a feature Biden wants to make inflation worse And norquist notes that Biden is looking to increase the tax rate corporate tax rate from 21 to 28% That's a great idea That's just delicious Now norquist notes in the piece that these tax hikes on businesses will not be paid by large corporations but will simply be passed on to working families in the form of higher prices He cites a 2020 study by the NBER found that 31% of corporate tax hikes fall on consumers The rest falls on the workers of the company So again just to be as clear as scotch tape here Joe Biden's plan for the inflation costing you more money is to take more money out of your pocket through tax hikes Sounds like Joe Biden to me Let's go Brandon I agree Sounds like Joey B You don't have enough money to pay for your food and shelter I use the Biden plan Give us more money through tax hikes And through those tax hikes let's make sure the rest of it impacts the workers so they're less productive So when they're less productive the company produces less stuff So when an inflation crisis marked by too much money chasing too little stuff let's create even less stuff while taking away people's money to purchase the stuff that's still around How do you vote Democrat You know again and again and again I will say this I am not suggesting by saying that that the Republicans are some panacea or other solution to all of your problems I get it I am simply saying by asking that question of people how do you vote Democrat That the Democrats are undoubtedly the cause of pretty much all of your problems right now So wouldn't you just take a chance Everything they're doing is compounding this problem and making it worse All right I got more on this coming up including how they're compounding the gas crisis gas crisis as well You have you know mister wonderful Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank you ever see him He just nails Biden to the wall and what they could do right now to fix the gas crisis and they're not doing it It's a great segment got that coming up and then I got Dave bosky bossy coming up at the top of the hour We'll be right back.

"Or will it be John Dingell's son? They decided, apparently on John Dingell's wife. And the sun is just going to have to wait and continue to dine out on the Dingle name because that's really all that matters sadly, in far too many congressional districts across the country. Name. Recognition of the Kennedys have made an art form of this. Kennedys have made all of their bones on this. But it should be. Something we look at. You should not be able to contract here's my old boss, Grover Norquist once proposed a constitutional amendment that was brilliant. That no. One in the same family. And occupy a congressional seat for him. It was one election cycle after that person leave one full cycle. After that person leaves or dies, Toe end that. Oh, the sun is running or the daughter is running or whatever. It should just be that simple because these seats are not owned. By families yet they basically are owned by families and something has to change it. If the people are going to be so stupid as to keep these crime syndicates in place, then we need some kind of protection. Against it. Cause you know that Karen Waters is coming coming up behind Maxine and I would add to Grover's Constitutional amendment that political campaigns cannot hire anybody. Who's related to them at all. Wouldn't that be nice? So that Ilhan Omar couldn't get her $3 million. And that would be illegal. What a novel idea making corruption. Obvious corruption illegal. Because of that, it will probably never stand a chance of passing. There's so many questions about real estate right now. Should you sell now? Or wait until next year? How much? Is your house worth?.

"And we are rolling mark norquist. Thank you for joining me today. Welcome to the project up and podcast. How are you doing great nick. Thanks so much for having me. It's it's my pleasure to have you on the show. I've been looking forward to this interview. Specifically actually i'll bring up i've received. I guess it's the time of year. A lot of people are thinking about upland bird hunting and i've actually been receiving quite a few emails lately about people. Going out shooting their first growls chasing upland birds for the first time. Ask you know seeking more information looking for a new hunter. Focus podcast and mark you. And i had been messaging back and forth a little bit and it just it made really good sense to bring you on the show and listeners are definitely going to find out why that is as we get into our conversation today. But i know you're in minnesota and we are a couple of days away from the deer opener so would it be reasonable to assume. That's what is on your to do list this week. Mark that it is. I will once once we finished. Recording this podcast. I'm loading up the truck and headed north. Awesome hendy heading to deer camp. That used to be. I'm almost ashamed to say a little bit. But i've might things have changed for me a little bit. It used to be a minnesota. Dear opener was bulls eye on my calendar year. Now i've the last five or so years. I have a family cabin in wisconsin. And i have kind of switched around my deer hunting a little bit and i've been hunting over there because it effectively extends my bird hunting season and as as avid. Rough girls hunters. No if you if the conditions play outright early november can be Can be pretty good grouse-hunting so i kind of i kind of get the best of both worlds. I think in in that sense. I won't be deer camp this week. But i always i still have quite the fondness for the folks heading up there and i will say that my where i live my house in the city of duluth. I'm on this travel corridor. Where i don't see bucks all year long but this time of year they come cruising through and it's been a crazy three days. I have had three to four ridiculous bucks in my in my yard including this morning i had a big eight point or come through chasing three dallas. So yeah they they are. It's funny you say that this The last week and a half in our neighborhood. I've got everybody texting photos and videos of i had. I had an eight point running in my yard the other day. But we've got a couple of ten pointers in the area. That are some of the biggest bucks that most of us have ever seen. And so everybody's everybody's pretty excited for this opener for sure. Well on that note mark. I'll let you introduce yourself a little bit. Just tell us tell us where you are where you located and tell us at a high level what modern carnivore is in. Just let us know your involvement and then we'll dive a lot deeper into it. Sure sounds good. So i'm based here minnesota just like you down in the twin cities area so out in minnetonka and modern carnivore is a platform a digital platform. I created almost ten years ago. That was Originated as a way to connect more people with responsibly. Sourcing their own food. So in other words we start a conversation about really good food and what that looks like and obviously as you know that's been really popular in for many years when people are eating local and organic and things like that and i looked at that as an opportunity to really initiate a conversation around what that really means and to then steer more people into the idea of learning to hunt fish forage and really Tap into a lifestyle. That's more connected to the wild places we have you know and And and having having a lot of fun out there and really being responsible and and And how they eat. So that's that's the genesis of it and And so since then. We've done lot of different things you know. We do a lot of focus on Digital video and film. We have a couple podcasts And then earlier this year we launched a learning platform which is which is a big focus of what we're doing. Yeah definitely wanna talk about the learn to hunt platform hunting camp live. We're going to dive into that stuff pretty deeply but again ten years. It's not like you started this yesterday. You've been working at it for a while but where where did the inspiration. Come from in what i really want to get at is. How did the outdoors specifically hunting. Come into your life mark. Yes a really good question. And that gets to the to the essence of what it is so you know in in about a month and a half i hit a big milestone birthday. Electorally be fifty and Which is hard to believe. Because i don't think of myself as a as a twenty two year old but The essence of it is. I grew up hunting fishing. Doing all the outdoor things. So i grew up in northern minnesota and north woods like salmon jack pine savage where a love grew up. I've been called that mark were proudly. I've now lived in a metropolitan area for twenty five some years and and i enjoy all aspects of that lifestyle but i have to be connected to the outdoors and so you know when i when i started years ago. Looking at the data that showed You know a decline in participation of hunting activities and then saw i was doing. A lot of work might professionally. I've always worked in marketing. And so like. I say about ten years ago i was actually. I was out at a senator conference in california called expo west and it is this organic and natural foods conference. That was doing a lot of work with organic and natural food companies. At this time and i started looking around on the show floor this big conference and there were about three thousand vendors there who had everything from big brands like.

"Defense David Norquist and he said this is something that they are watching very carefully because their objective overall is to be ready to fight and that's especially important on the Korean peninsula there's a reason this is most trusted institutions and one of the most trusted the country if you talk to the men and women do you really get a sense as to why the increase you see that capability professional showing up capable now they have the issue the the corner viruses come over from China and is spreading with the south Koreans and the U. S. forces are taking appropriate precautions to make sure that it is not spread within the military and again with any disease contamination you can't you can't be perfect but they have the resources and the capabilities to deter they have the medical care to make sure that our car forces are properly treated and cared for should simply indigenous interacted with the wheel important thing here is that they can perform their mission and no one should have any doubt about their ability and that of the south Koreans to be able to perform their mission to defend the country J. J. as of earlier this week there was one confirmation of one service member in South Korea diagnosed with the disease could there be more what what are they dealing with right now yeah there could be more and this is a part of the reason why northwest in the conversation that we had stressed that the members of the military need to do what they're supposed to do and what they're told to do from the medical professionals to keep themselves safe enough of course to practice the right kind of hygiene because they are some of these people who are possibly in harm's way when it comes to corona virus or in a place called the group and that's one of the medical hot zones for those in South Korea so they've absolutely been told that they need to make sure that their professional they listen to the medical professionals and of course keep themselves ready as they say to fight and what else is keeping Norquist up at night you had a pretty wide ranging discussion with him yes we talked about everything from Russia to China to North Korea to Iran we talk as well about some of the limitations that the Pentagon has when it comes to its its its systems and he said that one of the issues that they have just in terms of getting the administrative part right in the bureaucracy right some of their their backend systems need to be updated they need to be more modern they need to be more efficient and don't get me wrong they do a heck of a job based on what they have but he says that's one of the things they need to work on he also said to be very clear about it they've got seven hundred fifty billion dollar budget they're working on they lost a little money from inflation but he thinks that they're going to be pretty well suited but the bottom line on all of this is the leadership at the Pentagon the.

"The cross the lame joke dot com Facebook Twitter Instagram email it's all right there was the live video feeds the job had show what what have you really glad to have back to present about Americans for tax reform it is it it's Grover Norquist over how are you going to do the job it's always a pleasure to have you on a brief summer news that we found a little while ago about Rush Limbaugh guy who who certainly blazed the trail for a guy like me and I know you your friends with them and and certainly you've got some thoughts on a Russian out to these got advanced lung cancer talk to me well one of socks too I hope he's able to fight it successfully and just all best wishes form and as you said look he changed the world that's not something a lot of people can say there are people in Congress in the Senate and the presidency who would not be there if Russia had not been allowed to speak and he's the one of my free speech works when we change that stupid law which said you can't speak on radio unless somebody sitting on your shoulder saying you're an idiot having this you know debate if you're conservative your liberal you can go on unaccompanied because you're just in the middle of everything and we all agree that narrative but if you step outside that narrative to the right you were shut down by the federal communication commission are from the government under Reagan we said the so called Baroness doctrine right is out and that's when we start having free speech on talk radio and it changed the world for the better the other team was winning there was only one voice it was Walter Cronkite on every radio show saying the same left of center trouble in the first doctor not lasted that people like rush could not have done what he's done people like me could I what I do I do not have that were I have to have somebody coming to do three hours to to give a counter perspective on what I do bachelor let radio stations try to succeed because when you bring the other perspective on kind of radio I do the left doesn't succeed they failed many many times Grover Norquist he of course the president of a T. R. let's talk about what's happening we've got but it's a busy week now a bad bill rush yes heads to it's certainly we got the state of the union it went to find out Wednesday about about the presence acquittal which he will be acquitted rather easily the Iowa caucuses going on what is me to the taxpayers of the voters well we have a democratic primary where the Democrats of all moved significantly the laughed on Hillary Clinton okay go back four years who thought you could get much of the Democratic Party to the left of Hillary Clinton it's all moved over there Biden's moved her lack the one of the issues that she would not touch with a ten foot pole because Izzard campaign manager sad we seen the polling on this it all sucks is the carbon tax the energy tax that a gasoline tax on all forms of energy Hillary never endorsed it I really should've gone right for our throat with that if she was elected but she knew enough not to say it out loud every single Democrat candidate says I'm gonna tax the middle class yeah for their energy use and make them poor and right now they're not challenged by the other Democrats about what it for the press about what a bad idea that is they will find out in the general that it's a debatable proposition and by the way they're not saying it they're lying about it or just staying mum like Elizabeth Warren will not admit better Medicare for all must increase taxes on the middle class in the middle class A. ready every pretends we that should be the middle class it turns out this president and conservatives are the champions of middle class because we're taking regulations all people going back towards the middle class is being a G. P. increase and their wages are increasing so what about that they're just not telling the truth was with Warren still will not say of course I have to tax everybody else I can do it well she sort of sad she said there's a six percent wage tax that will be paid by your employer not by you right like your income tax when your employer with hold your income tax and send your money to Washington yeah somehow your employer is paying that you aren't and of course you only yes course you are and all the European countries these guys talk about wanted to look like Sweden or Denmark the difference really nice states and Sweden and Denmark it's not how they talk to rich people they've given up the idea of taxing well they've given up in many cases taxing even death taxes inheritance the difference United States and Sweden is that they have a twenty five percent energy taxes twenty five percent value added tax a tax on all productive meeting you bye a sales tax they called about you out of tax but an energy tax or that or or a carbon tax is a value added tax on training wheels it is going to obviously the common value added tax that's how you get the money out of the middle class also Sweden Denmark Belgium all have income taxes on a a couple two kids ought to parents to kids you pay twenty in some states compared to some European countries thirty percent more income tax than you do in United States they tax the middle class to provide all that free stuff that's what they don't want to tell you about your that middle class will pay for it they squeezed all the blood they can get out of that turn up of rich people and now they're going to go because if there's just not enough cash what age is true and also would people realize Sweden went away from the actual socialism of the the the central government owning and controlling all all industry that actually is more privatized now and that's something that a see and her L. can Bernie of these people are not saying when they're out there talking about how great do so called democratic socialism is we once we that social is not Venezuela's socialism which is an absolute lie that's not what they want Sweden's been through several phases there was a point at which they ran out of food which is in my relatives left and then up in it for there's a period of strong economic growth up until like the sixties and then they started getting big government and sixty seventies it started to falter and then you had kind of like in the United States a rolling back of some of the ridiculous tax hikes and some of the regulations they have school choice in Sweden they have the little of crazy tort law like we do yeah they'll have a tax on wealth and so if that much they have a lower couple games count so there's a lot of things that have allowed them to move for the still spend too much in taxes are too hot but they've done better as they moved away from big government actually as well why is China doing well because they've moved away from communism government still too big if that's too much but they're not busy shooting people all day and they allow people to own property and the taxes went from a hundred percent marginal rate to twenty five which is a good idea Donna with big so it is Grover Norquist the present at Americans for tax reform eight yard or go there find out the great information a it it really is startling how much you probably don't know what the government is attempting to do if allowed to do so this president as you know talk about a million times as lord regulations has lower taxes what do you expect him to say tomorrow night in the state of the union address which unfortunately will still be on trial which is dumb but we expect to see when it comes to regulations taxes and more relief for the American people it's going to be interesting to see how the Democrats react to what he's going to say because I think he's going to say a lot like there's something very similar when he said in Davos in Switzerland which talking all the Europeans and people all the beautiful bright people around the world you know how to run our lives better than we do right he talked about how successful the regulation is banned how're energy production has been very helpful how many jobs we've created health unemployment is down how fewer people are on the margins of the economy people work looking for work are now in the workplace working as opposed to on a couch somewhere not even looking up wages are going up way just for the middle and lower income people going up faster than for others all the things you don't hear if you turn on network news but that you feel every day and talking to friends and when you look at the statistics about people leaving their jobs more people are leaving their jobs not fired leaving their jobs because they know there's something E. than that are there so certain of the strength of the economy that they can say take this job and shove it would you cannot say when a bomb as president because there is no other job to go to it or three other options so you put up with nonsense and it trump Republican growing economy you can move from one job to another which is very very healthy I these Oscar talk about criminal justice reform and how he Obama talked a good game president yeah yeah yeah people spend another four years in prison because Obama wouldn't do what trump did yeah and some of the people who've been in prison for longer than they needed to be getting off the old could've been out of prison four years ago for non violent crimes I think I'll talk a little bit about the world were largely a world at peace when I haven't worked with anybody we told China we really think that they should stop stealing our intellectual property we want a more even trade agreement now we got some progress but not everything that we want we got a fairly good deal with Mexico and Canada which improves of the things that were flooded with nafta we got a good trade deal with Japan which Reagan tried to try to get Japan to behave and with with not as much successes as we needed so he has a wonderful scent of success stories to point to it energy production fracking all the things that the left wants to roll back the video we actually have leaked documents from what Bernie Sanders would do should he become the president day while I'm not gonna stop our exports of oil what the hell is he thinking they were finally a a a a pro net a positive net exporter of oil one of the largest exporters of oil on the planet we can be energy depend if we want to be and Bernie Sanders a relic would rather get it from Venezuela I'm very wrong with that thought process well he also wants to ban fracking so there wouldn't be any oil right to to export to be safe all of all the lies about fracking just just they don't compute the it's safe it's the right way to do it the clean way to do it yet they solve a problem with that it's changed the world think of all the disasters the last few years the Iranians blow up a quarter a fifth of the Saudi oil production right and it was as if nothing happened go back ten twenty years that have been lines of people trying to get gasoline the stock market when it got crazy price of oil we're going through the roof that is well it goes off the grid it is run by Cray socialist and they can't produce much energy at all Iran goes off the grid because they're misbehaving and people are sanctioning them and we act like we did not even noticing this because United States its productivity is swamping all these other things and eventually when Iran decides to be you know play nice with the children that's going to come on when done as well it does something gets themselves a different government that will go on we have really good days ahead of us but these have been made strong because trump stood up to all the radicals who said you can't.

"Good Morning America. This is the cat's table John Katzman. TD's here Sunday morning tax tax tax. It seems like somebody's politicians Sion's all they know is how attacks with a sporting as grover norquist's He's president of Americans for tax reform. And it's a tax advocacy group that was founded in one thousand nine hundred five with President Reagan. Good Morning. How are you this morning John Doing well good day? I mean all the politicians to do they. They wake up at three o'clock in the morning and say what new taxes can we charge today and a joke. I told told you before when we were together the other day was that They create congestion in New York City. So they can charge congestion pricing. I see what say you. It's not a joke. It's the plan the government does things causes problems and then the answer to. I've never met a crisis that the establishment press or the established politicians point out to us that required less government or more freedom are lower taxes. Every crisis requires requires higher taxes more government spending government control. It's just amazing. How that is it just seems to go out of control and I said to you that especially in New York right now? There's hasn't they're staying up at night reading the San Francisco newspapers to find out what new taxes today charge and San Francisco so they can charge to the great thing about having fifty states. You can look around to see what works. There are states people. People move into New York is not one of them. I mean on net more people move out of New York than into New York statistics. Well the statistics are a little bit shocking. Other people who leave about half of them make more than one hundred fifty thousand dollars that includes children by the way not a three year olds leaving with their families to to make one hundred fifty thousand dollars. So it's it's taxpayers with resources. Who if they stayed would help finance the legitimate needs of government? But they're leaving so every every time they raise taxes and chase people out of the state they actually reduced the ability of the state to pay for schools on a New York last year. Seven hundred and twelve thousands of people. moved Four hundred fifty eight thousand moved out and two hundred fifty four thousand moved in so two to one people were leaving New York and when they leave they take their resources with them their skills with them their children with them the future New Yorkers or what would be future New Yorkers with them and that costs billions of dollars in lost total GDP every year here to New York and Connecticut and New Jersey and it shows up in Florida Tennessee and Texas and What would I found is that we're fighting for? The soul of our country is to decisions. There is the right hand side. That's in the White House now. We're GONNA hold trump. Being President Larry cudlow beyond their great guy. My friend Steve Moore Being close to the ear of the president at art blaffer and Steve Forbes and they're saying lower taxes and the economy will take off and it seems like. That's has happened and we'll talk about that in a few seconds and the other side you got Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and says let's tax the heck out of them. Let's tax ninety percent of the wrench. Let's let's give money away to to the poor and Dowa Solo work. Give us ever since a tax cut In about two years ago now almost since attacks almost exactly two years ago we took the business tax from thirty five percents highest in the world to twenty one percent which makes us very competitive. You no longer hear about companies leaving the United States because of our tax policy back. Yes yes they're not being bought by foreign companies but the other way around. That's very helpful. But six the seven million jobs created since the president got elected. You've seen much a billion trillions actually a flow into the United States in foreign investment some the American earnings from overseas. That finally came back because we no longer punish a company that brings like apple money back to the United States and now it can all all come back without penalty because of that tax bill family of four or seven thousand dollars absolute median income family of four two thousand dollars tax cut. That's what they got of. All Americans average income was sixty one thousand when the president got elected. It's now sixty five thousand. That is a four thousand dollar increase in the median income dead center. That's the middle income. People that are seeing this game Not Just high-income people but the median guys. In the the previous sixteen years all Bush all Obama it only went up by one thousand three years of trump. Four thousand plus the tax-cut. Wow big deal. That's why people are less deal. I mean With on the Democratic side now Mike Bloomberg is jumping in and he seems to be a moderate Joe. Joe Biden still is running and my friend that I was with last week. Says he had a fundraiser. In New York raise two hundred and fifty thousand so it looks like he's still running and I had lunch electron Friday with John Kerry and he says people are trying to urge me to run but then Friday afternoon Thursday afternoon he he said that he may induce yes. Oh Biden falls down. He may run. Well you get you close close. Maybe he has to be secretary state again maybe jumps in. If Biden falls apart you know Biden being the moderate joke. His first thing he wants says he wants to do is to repeal the entire trump tax cut which would be the largest tax cut in modern history would take us to be uncompetitive in the business. World would be a two thousand dollar tax increase on middle income. People would raise the price of everybody's utility bills because when we cut the corporate rate for utilities that gets immediately pass through the people you raise that tax again and all of you utility bills go up so Biden says he wants to start with a massive tax increase and then he came out with a new one just I think yesterday which is a new collection of taxes on top of repealing the trump tax right now. Nobody knows what's going to happen November twenty twenty the trump. You Have Donald Trump on one side Would you support the economic people of what we said before. KUDLOW and Steve Moore and and Art Laffer And Steve Loops and on the other side. You got confusion isn't going to be Mike Bloomberg Joe. O'Brien was going to be the socialist of the group. What's what's say you? I think the ball could bounce in any number of ways the the problem is all those guys who you just described as if they were somewhat different they all want to repeal the trump tax cuts. They all want a gasoline tax and energy tax said a carbon tax which hits on middle income people and they also want to spend trillions of dollars more which means they're going to be additional tax increases with Elizabeth Warren. It's a six percent the tax on your wages. A six percent tax on your wages as her opening bid to help pay for Medicare medicare for all and then Bloomberg wants. That's a tell you whether you can drink soda pop or popcorn. I mean he has more rules. How to lead your life than Levinas? I mean it's just on and on. They wants to use taxes to make. Well where do you think we go from here. We saying. Just wait and see. Well I think the key thing is that the market's doing well A little uncertainty because of the China trade a fight but as that gets settled. I I think you'll see the market take off again and we know from history that when the economy's doing as well as it is. The incumbent tends to win And Right now one of the challenges is all the Democrats have is that they're just not catching fire and they haven't been able to land a glove on trump even with the impeachment stuff. I think they're talking about impeachment because they don't want to talk about the increase in wages for middle income Americans. They don't want to talk about the number of jobs. More jobs are open than there. Are People looking for work. That's a new a problem to have and can you also think on confused about and we only have a minute. Left Shark is why is a whole world pushing electric cars versus gas. 'cause I mean if somebody did the full research electric electric laws. Everything's that's pretty. They're massively subsidised and so people can make money harvesting subsidies. It's like farmers. I don't really farm. But they get subsidies that's electric car industry right now. Maybe someday it would work but right now. This is a massively subsidised operation. And because of fracking. Because is we've been very good about looking for energy here. In the United States price of energies kept low. The price of gasoline is kept love. You know they blew up a good chunk of Saudi Arabia and nobody cared in terms of about the people but I mean the price of gasoline. We we'd have had a collapse in the stock market and shortages in this country. Twenty thirty thirty years ago if the Venezuela went off the grid major oil producer and nobody. No Iran has told. went up your stuff so we have so much opportunity because of our strong pro energy policies. Now that we don't have to get in for worse and we don't have to get scared every time. Somebody doesn't pump a well before we signed off electric cars many friends of mine that are doctors tell you. As that electric motor spins it creates an electro magnetic wave in the car. It's like living underneath. One thousand ten is that gives you cancer so I I mean if if somebody does the research we're GONNA find out someday which truth is that's that's potentially frightening. I think it's a mistake for taxpayers. Because he thinks are heavily heavily subsidized. They cost money and they're so expensive. That high income people have a status symbol but average taxpayers paying being for that grover norquist. Thank you so much for coming on the show Sunday morning and telling me American people the Truth and hopefully we'll have you on again in the near future when when there's something to report thank you John Thank you. "If you. Okay. Why is that? Test your liberalism. Have you ever bachelor degree you on average in sixty five percent more than someone who doesn't have? If you have a masters degree one hundred percent more of the course of your lifetime. So nothing is free like a free lunch. Now, neither is college. Somebody will be paying for this free college, and it will be tax payers. So are we really saying that someone who didn't go to college should be subsidizing the people who went and got the benefit from going to college and make more money is that really a liberal thing, and that's an incredible transfer from lower income people to higher income people. If you look at the beneficiaries of that proposal is a huge subsidies to higher income people. And if you're out buying votes, you go with the people, you think are gonna vote that's not going to lash the sugar the sugar lobby is out there to feed it all I mean, that's that's hopefully we get away from. But unfortunately, that's that's just funding the money to the rich people. There you go and that was Grover Norquist's from Americans for tax reform. He's a conservative, right? But he he brings up a, but even the liberals on their could not shake the point that this is a transfer from nobody's making the case that the rich can actually afford to pay for it, all even the liberals aren't buying that. Right. And so it comes down to the fact that what you're saying is somebody who doesn't go to high school is going to subsidize for somebody to get something that's gonna make them richer, and the lower classes are going to have to do it. That's another argument that has been presented will that actually come up in the primaries would somebody actually take that stand and would Grover Norquist's said, and this is the best point is what Democrats are doing is. They know that the lower income voters are not as likely to vote as people that are going to college that will get the free stuff. So the free stuff people that are actually behind their income are more likely to vote for more free. He stuff for them to have the lower class income people the lower income class people pay for their subsidy while this is going to be a great democratic primary. Yeah. You can't get there. There's there's there's zero math that gets you there. But yet they keep saying they keep promoting more. Nobody's bullying. No. That's a liberal audience in there. Nobody's boeing. No. No, no. What you heard? But you know, what was interesting is when I mentioned free college and they start clapping, right? All right now think about this. Did you hear the audience respond to that know why because they got it? They understood. The fact that the matter is if you want to higher education, you're going to have to go get it by whatever means are out there, but putting it on the backs of other taxpayers. And and making it free is not the answer. Because you can't do it. There's there's not enough wealth to pay for it. There's certainly not enough wealth to pay for that and Medicare for all you're talking about tens, and tens of millions of dollars. Money's.

"President of Americans for tax reform, APR dot org. We talk about AFC. Have you come up with a name for that segment yet the AFC segment? Talked about it yesterday. What we say? Have you ever came up with it? File I like that one. The AFC file AFC report. Somebody actually suggested Chris I think emailed me and said AFC three sixty. Cooper, three sixty. It's kind of interesting because I guess is this show called a C three six three hundred sixty. I don't want you watch it watch what he's drunk on New Year's Eve. Cooper is fun for those who times. So. Yeah, we're we still have to come up with an idea, but I talked to to Grover Norquist about AFC. Why do we make her the face of the democrat party? I mean, he's like, absolutely. That's interesting. He said, yeah. Well, if the Democrats aren't going to back away from the dumping, she sang and the ridiculous, you know, bad economy and bad mathematics in ridiculous socialism calls and so on if they're not going to step away from her and refuted, then let them let them live. Listen, you you're going to stand by that you have to live by what she's saying? So when it comes time for the election in two thousand twenty when there are debates, whoever the democrat happens to be. They're gonna have to answer this question. Do you want to seventy percent tax rate for people is that what you want? You just got to pay thirty one trillion dollars for universal everything is that what is that? What you're gonna do how you can do that. It'll be interesting to see how the answer. Now. I don't even know who's going to be on that stage yet the Democrats. I would imagine probably won't have sixteen or seventeen like the Republicans had, but it's going to be a lot. I guess depending on I'll make this prediction if Hillary Clinton is running again, which would be ridiculous. But if she is then you probably won't see as many people running in the democrat party freight over they're all afraid of her and her husband and the whole Clinton machine. Let us she's not running where do you know about? He and Castro who is the former mayor San Antonio. And as the HUD secretary achieved nothing, I'm not really sure what he thinks. He's done to deserve to be the president of the United States. But God bless anybody can run. Could be a Robert Francis battle a Rourke allegedly. He's the one Obama wants to run but Castro was close with Obama. So as to give it him the high sign to is Obama, the king-maker or is Hillary Clinton Akeem the king-maker Joe Biden, Joe big effing deal Biden. It could be hint Kerry couldn't he has. I think he's he's kind of leaning that way can vary. Big f in the last couple of days. Yeah. Oh, yeah. What we call him the BF FD. Yes. Candidate the yes. Definitely. So that could happen, which would be hilarious. I. Elizabeth warren. The president will present will call her Pocahontas right there on stage. Yeah. Yeah. So that would be interesting just for that for for that matter will Bernie Sanders. Born again, what is the eighty now? I don't know health care for all free college. It would be fun. Again. Absolutely. Because I don't have. I don't have a Trump. I've tried Donald Trump. I know. And who knows why? I just I I can I can candy. Mannerisms that'd be fantastic. The best you've ever seen. But I I can't say his voice, which is interesting. I think that I think my voice deep. So is that what it is? Let's go with that has too much. So so we have that we have Grover Norquist Kelly macadamia from the GOP the president's going to speak tonight. Let's start the speculation game. Why don't we do that? By the way, K Pam in in Portland is our great affiliate out. There was running us at nine o'clock at night. The now ruling is six PM, and I appreciate you. And for those of you jumping in the car get off work in Portland or he just riding around and you pop on your favorite station, K, Pam, KP AM. And you're like what the hell is this just take a breath? Give me, okay. Give it a few weeks, and we will verbally and educationally and with parodies and everything else. Knock knock you out of your senses in numb you to the show. And then. Yeah. Exactly. Right. Exactly. Right. So Chris in other great folks came in. Thank thank you for believing in us, and we're gonna kick some ants free, six o'clock. So tonight is is the big address first and foremost, can you remember other than the state of member another time when a president decided he was going to give it address just speak to the American people that the left gotta gotta chase to refute or respond. No, I cannot. I can't either. I just find that to be so weird. And. Oh, yeah. Equal time. Right. But they can't make that demand. First of all because he's the president. He's not running for election. This is this is not playing politics. This isn't even the democratic or the Republican response to a state of the union address. This is the president in the Oval Office saying, hey, I want I want to say a few words to the American people want to talk to the American people, and he's always best when he does that. And the Democrats are scared to death. That's why they really want to have this response. They are scared to death. Of what the president's going to say because what it comes down to it. He was elected because he said he was going to build the wall. He was elected because he said he was gonna fix illegal immigration. He was elected because he's talking about getting rid of the the diversity lottery and all this other garbage. And these by the way are all tenants in things and issues that the Democrats agreed with him on just five years ago. Suddenly there on polar opposite sides here. And they can't give a valid reason why they're on a polar opposite side. But now the networks from what I understand. And I want your opinion on this to the networks were considering whether they should even run his address. I know what are your thoughts on that? No. I think they should absolutely. If the president wants to speak to the nation address us than we should be able to watch it. Listen to it. They need to carry it. Last. I checked he's the president of the United States. Yes. Yes. It doesn't matter. What your personal opinion is not you you in general, you the media. You the legacy media? It doesn't matter you run the president's address. I mean, the media would cut in to show Brock Obama playing basketball. But they don't wanna cut into have this president actually give give it address to the American people. What the hell man? Did you see one of the stories that I sent you what Don lemon had to say about this from? I don't know who is talking to. I think it might have been Chris Cuomo. And he was suggesting that the address be censored before Americans can hear it. What? In what way I'm not sure how that would go over. I don't even know. But that's what he was talking about with Chris mo- Cuomo. However, he shut down that saying, no, that's he can't really do that. You can't censor it. But that was done lemons idea. Let censor it. Let's fact check it before we air it. We did that with Obama. We'd be. Not only would would we be racists. But we would absolutely be called out as as just politically motivated. This is the president of the United States your politics. Don't matter. He really does have the job you ever reminds me. And I'm reminded of this a lot that Jimmy Kimmel had that. What what does he call them nasty tweets? Negative tweets. Bad tweets. What is it mean tweets? Okay. Mean tweets and he had Brock Obama on there. And Obama was reading a tweet by by Donald Trump. Then candidate Donald Trump and Trump tweeted something to the effect of Barack Obama. You're going to go down as the worst president in the history of the country and Obama's response was well, at least I'll go down as a president of the United States. And then everybody got a big laugh, and he dropped the phone is if he's dropping the microphone and os just hilarious that Obama. He's just so great and the women wanna sleep with them in the middle wannabe him. And all that. But the bottom line is he actually got the job. You can't take away. The fact that Donald Trump is a president. And he's the current president of the United States. You can't no matter how much you hate him. You can't possibly suggest that he doesn't have the right to address the people. That elected him. Now a question that goes right along side. All this is why does Don lemon have a job in anything remotely related to news and information. How can carry Jim Forsyth is the news director at our flagship you go up to Jim and say, hey, I want to cover this press conference by the mayor or cover the press conference by the city manager or by the governor by whomever, but Jim I'd like to take it. Censor it go through it. And and make a decision as to whether I like what he's saying before I erase every what's the response going to be no Kerry. No. You cannot do that. Of course, you know. It's it's just ridiculous. It doesn't make any sense. It's harmful. To anybody. Everybody who does the job lemon attempts to do. I guess. So even to that end, we talk about really really bad journalism. You always have to bring up Jim Acosta, and you found this for me today. I appreciate this. Jim Acosta is a guy who rightfully had his credentials take it away because he's an idiot. And he's just he's not a good guy. He's not a good journalist. And he's only there to to play horrible questions with the president of the United States. Anybody who's representing him and Sarah Sanders stood up to him. And they've Donald Trump stood up to him. And now Kellyanne Conway gets her chance Kellyanne Conway doesn't play. Yes. I have her phone number cardio. You're gonna ask me. And I did a texted effort saw this. It was he she called me a doll. Listen with Kellyanne bats what happens? That's what happens is just one of those things, you know. When we come back. I'm gonna play the video for those of the livestream, and I will play the audio for those of you listening on the radio of Kellyanne Conway had enough now before and let's give it away. But before we go to break, the use a journalist think that his question wasn't appropriate question. Let me go back. I'm trying to no question away. Okay. I don't think do that. We come back. I mean is that is that a question you get you get one opportunity to ask a question. It's the one you ask me, I would not ask them. All right. So we'll have that for you. We come back. Your thoughts on what's going to be said tonight. Your thoughts on lemon singlets censor. The president your thoughts on on what the president will say an and whether you think it's appropriate. Have you come up with a name for that segment yet the AFC segment didn't make talk about that yesterday? What do we say? Ever came up with it. File I like that one. The AFC file AFC report. Somebody actually suggested Chris I think emailed me and said. AFC three sixty. Cooper, three sixty. It's kind of interesting because I guess his is this show called a C three six eight hundred sixty. I don't watch it. He's drunk on New Year's Eve. That's fine. Fun. Yeah. Yeah. He goes through those times. So yeah, we still have to come up with an idea, but I talked to to Grover Norquist about AFC. And I'm like do we make her the face of the democrat party? I mean, at least like absolutely well, it's interesting. He said, yeah. Well, if the Democrats aren't going to back away from the dumping, she sang and the ridiculous, you know, bad economy and bad mathematics in ridiculous socialism calls and so on they're not going to step away from her and refuted, then let them let them live going to stand by that you have to live by what she saying. So when it comes time for the election in two thousand twenty when there are debates, whoever the democrat happens to be they're gonna have to answer this question. Do you want to seventy percent tax rate for people what you want? You just got to pay thirty one trillion dollars for universal everything is that which is what you're gonna do can do that. It'll be interesting to see how the answer. I don't even know who's going to be on that stage yet the Democrats. I would imagine probably won't have sixteen or seventeen like the Republicans had, but it's going to be a lot. I guess it depending on I'll make this prediction if Hillary Clinton is running again, which would be ridiculous. But if she is then you probably won't see as many people running in the democrat party. They're all afraid of her. They're all afraid of her and her husband and the Hopelink machine. Let us she's not running where he and Castro who is the former mayor San Antonio. And as the HUD secretary achieved nothing, I'm not really sure what he thinks. He's done to deserve to be the president of the United States. But God bless him. And anybody can run. Could be a Robert Francis battle a Rourke allegedly. He's the one Obama wants to run but Castro was close with Obama. So as Obama give him the high sign to is Obama, the king-maker or is Hillary Clinton the king-maker Joe Biden, Joe big effing deal Biden, it could be him. It couldn't he has. He's he's kind of leaning that way can vary. The last couple of days. Yeah. Big deal. Yeah. What we call him to be FD. Yes. Yes. So that could happen, which would be hilarious. Think Elizabeth Warren? The president will present will call her Pocahontas right there on stage. So that would be interesting just for that for that matter. Well, Bernie Sanders on again, what does the eighty now, I don't know health care for all free college. It would be fun. Pretty good. Absolutely. Because I don't have a Trump. I've tried Donald Trump. And who knows why I just I I can I can mannerisms that'd be fantastic. You judge the best you've ever seen? But I I can't say his voice, which is interesting. I I think I think my voice is just too deep. What it is. Let's go with that has too much of that. So so we have that we have Grover Norquist killing macadamia from the GOP the president's going to speak tonight. Let's start the speculation game. I don't we do that. By the way, K Pam in in Portland is our great affiliate out there. It was running us at nine o'clock at night. The now ruling is I six PM, and I appreciate you. And for those of you jump in the car get off work in Portland or you're just riding around and you pop on your favorite station, K, Pam. AM? And you're like what the hell is this just take a breath? Give thanks. Yeah. It's gonna be okay. Give a few weeks, and we will verbally and educationally. And and with parodies everything else. Knock knock you out of your senses. Numb you to the show. And then you think. Yeah. Exactly. Right. Exactly. Right. So Chris in other great folks came and thank you for believing in us, and we're gonna kick some answering six o'clock. So tonight is is the big address first and foremost, can you remember other than the state of the union? Can you remember another time when a president decided he was going to give it address just speak to the American people that the left got gotta chase to refute or respond, and no I cannot I can't either. I just find it to be so weird. And now. Equal time. Right. But they can't make that demand. First of all because he's the president. He's not running for election. This is this is not playing politics. This isn't even the democratic or the Republican response to a state of the union address. This is the president in the Oval Office. Hey, I want I want to say some of you words to the American people want to talk to the American people, and he's always best when he does that. And the Democrats are scared to death. That's why they really want to have this response. They are scared to death. What the president's going to say because what it comes down to it. He was elected because he said he's going to build the wall. He was elected because he said he was going to fix illegal immigration. He was elected because he's talking about getting rid of the the diversity lottery. And all this other garbage. And these by the way are all tenants in things and issues that the Democrats agreed with him on just five years ago. Suddenly there on polar opposite sides here. And they can't give a valid reason. Why they're on a polar opposite side. Now, the networks from what I understand. And I want your opinion on this to the networks work considering whether they should even run his address. I know, you know, I think they should absolutely. If the president wants to speak to the nation address us than we should be able to watch it. Listen to it. They need to carry it last. I checked he's the president of the United States. Yes. Yes. It doesn't matter. What your personal opinion is not you you in general, you the media. You the legacy media? It doesn't matter you run the president's address. I mean, the media would cut in to show Brock Obama playing basketball. But they don't want to cut into have this president actually give give an address to the American people. What the hell man? Did you see one of the stories that I sent you what Don lemon had to say about this from? He was the who is talking to. I think it might been Chris Cuomo. And he was suggesting that the address be censored before Americans can hear it. What I'm not sure how that would go over. I don't even know. But that's what he was talking about. What chris? Well. However, he shut down that saying, no, that's he can't really do that. You can't censor it. But that was done lemons idea. Let's censor it. Let's fact check it before we air it. We did that with Obama. We'd be. Racists. But we would absolutely be called out as as just politically motivated. This is the president of the United States your politics. Don't matter. He really does have the job you ever reminds me. And I'm reminded of this a lot that Jimmy Kimmel had that. What what does he call them nasty tweets negative tweets? Bad tweets. What is it is? It mean tweets faithful mean tweets, and he had rock Obama on there. And Obama was reading a tweet by by Donald Trump. Then candidate Donald Trump and Trump tweeted something to the effect of Barack Obama. You're going to go down as the worst president in the history of the country and Obama's response was well, at least I'll go down as president. Of the United States. And then everybody got a big laugh, and he dropped the phone if he's dropping the microphone always just hilarious into that Obama. He's just so great the women wanna sleep with him in the men wanna be him. And all that. But the bottom line is he actually got the job. You can't take away. The fact that Donald Trump is a president. And he's the current president of the United States. You can't no matter how much you hate him. You can't possibly suggest that he doesn't have the right to address the people that elected him. Now a question that goes right along side. All this is why does Don lemon have a job in anything remotely related to news and information. How can carry Jim Forsyth is the news record our flag? You go up to Jim and say, hey, I want to cover this press conference by the mayor or cover the press conference by the city manager or by the governor by whomever, but Jim I'd like to take it. Censor it go through it and make a decision as to whether I like what he's saying before I erase every what's the response is going to be no Kerry. No. You cannot do that. Of course. Now. I it's it's just ridiculous. And he's only there to to play horrible questions with the president of the United States or anybody who's representing him and Sarah Sanders stood up to him and Donald Trump stood up to him. And now Kellyanne Conway gets her chance Kellyanne Conway doesn't play. Yes. I have her phone number cardio. You're gonna ask me. And I did I texted her after I saw this. It was she called me a doll. Listen with Kellyanne. That's what happens. That's what happens is just one of those things. When we come back. I'm going to play the video for those of the livestream, and I will play the audio for those of you listening on the radio Kellyanne Conway had enough now before and let's give it away. But before we go to break. Do you a journalist think that his question wasn't appropriate question? Let me go back. I'm trying to no question away. Okay. We come back. I mean is that is that a question you get you get one opportunity to ask a question. That's the one you ask me. I would not ask them. All right. So we'll have that for you. We come back. Your thoughts on what's going to be said tonight. Your thoughts on lemon singlets to the president your thoughts on on what the president will say an and whether you think it's appropriate. It's appropriate to have the opposing political party respond to a presidential address to the American people.
