"What one thing Two stands up. Well, there was a zoom training camp, so we haven't seen Anybody. You know, we haven't seen what the rookie receivers look like when they're taking passes for Philip Rivers, and we won't see any of that stuff. The light fireworks off now overhead is probably here. Who knows? I mean, I just don't know You got a team that made a lot of changes office. Even that was not very good, and they're not gonna have a lot of time to put put it all together in training camp. I think in the second half of the season, there's a chance it could be really good. I really worry about what they're going to look like the 1st 4 weeks of season. We're only gonna have two preseason. Thanks. By the way, we're not gonna have four. Um it's just a matter of how quickly they can get Philip Rivers and those two young wide receivers up because you know that oil is going to be fine. You know, Jack Doyle's fine. You'd like to think that the defense is going to be really solid, especially up front. I think Buckner will make a difference right away. She and Justin Houston and the other guys on the defensive line. I think you're going to be terrific. I like the linebacking corps. At this point in time. We'll have to wait and see if the movie they made in the secondary for a cornerback pay off, But I think the defense will be ahead of the offense, and I just It's a matter of how quickly all those new pieces on offense could get together. Do you like the preseason cut? Uh, It just is what it is, but I like it. No, I think I think it's really tough. If you're a young player that's trying to make a team. If you're not one of the drafted players coming in and un drafted free agent or you're a free agent from another team that's trying to make a team. It's going to be tough. I think that they're going to be allowed to probably carried. You haven't said Yes, but I I would be surprised if these teams are not allowed to carry 75 people are so all through the entire preseason. And then they'll probably have expanded rosters when they start this season two and I'm going to die. I'm not 100% certain that they're going to be football on time this year if anybody looked across the country lately, but We're not going the right direction, guys. No, we're not. And we're just talking about Tom Noida, columnist for the South and Tribune about Notre Dame football in the fact that they have to play to pack 12 opponents and USC and Stanford and Let's say the Pac 12 Ends up not playing that it's on Notre Dame to then how's those games? So like you, said, Jeff, we are far from being out of the woods. Now, Look, you want to talk about college football? Does anybody really think we have a full 11 or 12 game season? It's just gonna be your conference games that you play this year. You can put everything else on hold. I think that that what happened over the next four weeks in this country and I go a long way towards deciding Where we end up with football, and I'll be honest right now. I know that they looked at rather a lot smarter. However, I'll give him that. There's no question but I don't like the idea of 175,000 people at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway unless this thing is completely under control, because people come and even if Indiana used to lead the way in terms of the relatively low amount of cases They've been really good at the last four weeks, and even here the cases have started to go back the other way now. But you have people coming in from Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky. All the place people coming from all the time. They're gonna mingle in. They're gonna be there next to what you say about only having half as many people is normal. You know how it's going to go Look at some of the scenes you're seeing on the Fourth of July weekend from around the country. People are not social business is not doing it. You know, I don't know. Maybe maybe this thing will just open, but we'll see. Hey, Jeff, Appreciate the time. Thank you. For all the talk Happy Fourth of July, man. All right, buddy. Have a good time. I s t rolls on next need to get away.

Just keep coming back to feels one. Is the full spectrum. Hamp they use a whole plant approach. So you get all the cannabinoid. As a mispronounced. It's pronounced the Canon Canon but Noida cannabinoid and the terp beans in its very premium. It's only MCAT oil as a carrier oil which increases the bioavailability ability of the CBD. That's it. MCAT oil in CBD and not only that when you talk about premium it even comes down to the packaging. Here's the thing if you used. "The president of the United States is also a role model his or her behavior influences the public and documented by Dr James Gilligan in his book. Why some politicians are more dangerous than others? I'll give you a hint spoiler on the book, the dangerous ones generally are having an after their name. According to the good doctor. Trump's assault on the country's mental health is part of a much larger pattern the Republican party and the conservative movement have for decades advanced an agenda, which has. Good so Noida with this web page here, which has hurt the overall health and wellbeing of most Americans. Donald Trump's negative impact on mental health extends to their intimate sex lives. What is post traumatic Trump disorder? What? You see Ross said he's having a seizure in there. I'm sorry, man. I'm just if it's like if you're all like, hey, let's Netflixing chill, and you can't really get to the chill part. Because you every time you look at your partner, you keep thinking of Trump some reason or I some reason when you look at your lady, happy Valentine's Day, everyone, by the way, you look at your beautiful women, and you can't stop thinking of Trump's hair. There's a problem there. I mean in the problem isn't Trump unless unless she looks like Trump, right, which whatever. Yeah. Have did I guess no judgment here? But I mean, what is your problem that you can't Netflix and chill? I don't you. Can't stop thinking to Trump. You went to sleep with you yet. Let it if it controls the work at work because you work in an environment where there's government connection fine controls interactions with people like on on a social level. I get that. Some people are. I'm sorry. This thing keeps reloading because it's just a just crap. It's a crap article on a crap web page, but you know, that's like I can't remember the stories. I I just can't talk to my family. Remember when Trump got elected and people got divorced. Do you? Remember, those stories just and now now you need e medication. Because of a election ladies, if yearly with your man, you're like, hey, let's let's you know, relax on the weekend. You'll get an a couch, and they start to you know. Yeah. You know, they start to do stuff. And your man is like no, I can't because Trump did a new man new man, get it, no way. Who's not a new San get an actual man whose man is that. This is so you so. So incredibly irritate. What was I had a story? I can't because of the resistance. Well, technically that it would be a legitimate excuse for different reasons. And even then it can be overcome the point. I'm making is. Whatever I think that we've hit rock bottom on where and what can be influenced by. Not just because you had a bad day. Or there's one thing you feel really passionate about these people are claiming that this is the that the entirety of Donald Trump, the Republican party and everything it represents has been driving the country to suicide more and more in creating more mental illness year after year after year, that's the crux of this article. And yet the people that I see acting questionably questionably from a mental standpoint. Generally are not people. I would put his staunch a staunch Republican. Those people act really boring. Saying that the description is really boring. It's the people that are kneeling at an inauguration screaming, no and becoming a viral Meam of epic proportions. Does those are those are the people that I kind of wonder about that. Maybe you know. Hey, check yourself in somewhere and see if we can get you a little help, buddy. So the article goes on what is post traumatic Trump disorder. How does Donald Trump's misogyny and other unethical and unhealthy behavior towards women reflect deeper systemic cultural problems in an effort to answer these very important questions, I interviewed Dr Susan Bloch. Dr Suzy's, the founder director of Dr Susan Bloch institute for a Roddick arts. Okay. I'm a little jealous. I kinda favorite that was gonna be mine if I ever had an institute, and now, she's stolen. She does HBO TV show. This lady is all right. So. Here's a here's a Q and A how has the age of Trump impacted Americans collective mental health and their intimate lives. It's had a big impact for some this answer. It has a big impact for some people. Trump's campaign presidency created PTSD what I call post Trump sex disorder. Trump has created feelings of fear loathing and Naza which means people aren't wanting to be intimate anymore. Mostly. This is is seen in women who are simply appalled by how tree how creepy Trump is. He takes what are often positive off and positive male attributes of confidence, but takes it way over the line. It's a real turn off. It's also a real turn off for him. She refers to was rape, entitled arrogance. That's the thing to write that down. Let me let me see what some of these other questions. I'm sorry. I just I was starting to read this article is we're coming back from break. And I'm just amazed the more and more. I scan. So I'm trying to get a trying to get a number like a percentage that this woman feels her afflicted by it. Donald Trump is a turnoff for many people. But for some people that are turned on and titillated by Trump. Okay. You should seek help to if your role playing Trump. That's the opposite side of the spectrum. I was talking about. But that's equally weird once again, no judgment, but complete judgment. And it's weird. Just stop it. Stop. Would you go about? And I don't mean, hey, Mr President, you know, JFK Marilyn Monroe role play but with current actors. I mean, just don't. Maybe does used to be the in your in dirty talk. But with Trump dirty talk with his words. Bigly. Don't do that. Please. If you do just don't tell anyone ever. And don't then fight with the person you're doing it with 'cause they'll tell everyone as they should. Oh, these people are not suffering from post Trump sexual disorder. That's right because they're still hook it up because they're not insane. Well, they're insane. But for for different reasons, I emphasize people because it's both men and women who are aroused and track did in titillated by Donald Trump. There's definitely a homo erotic attraction for Trump being inst- by. Oh, so do guys who voted for Donald Trump did it 'cause they're into him? That's what this chick saying. They pulled that lever. But imagined it was something else. Are you serious? Okay. Dudes voted for Trump or gay. Oh my goodness. Both men and women. Have a secret fantasy of Trump being quote, a bad boy, an evil daddy whose really hot my evil bad. Boy, daddy, you know, I'm starting to think the problem here. Maybe be with the author of the article what might be. This lady. Oh my goodness. Who sits around and thinks of this. All right. I'm sorry. I just got so immersed. You wanna you wanna touch on this feel free? All you secret. Trump fantasize IRS or people impacted to the point where you can't reproduce. That's the secret plan. They're making us a moon. Batts can't reproduce. Genius. And it's seven twenty one back in a bit. You.

"There's that speech that one of his co workers gives about how this country for women, and and women are expected to be very beautiful. But if they are two beautiful than men put them down, and if they're dressed casually than men put them down, and it's like there's an impossible balance for the strike. So those are just like many of the undercurrents of what's happening here. And it reminded me in that way of widows like there's a lot going on surface plot of that film, but really burning like not very much actually happens in the plot of the film. Right. Like, there's not that many. This all these ideas that are brought to life in a really interesting way in the conflict of three people. So I've been talking about it. I think that's what's really powerful about it. Right. But because this is movie that just feels like you're watching this guy. He's really down his luck. He's not making much money. I think. He's he is like the prototypical millennial experience right now too. So the first the first scene in the movie, right? He's introduced as a labor right in a in a long shot and delivering like he's a deliver. Basically like, he's these delivering packages. But I think like also the class stratification just become so clear super quickly where you see once you're introduced to bend like he says a completely different way of speaking and living and the way he basically we don't know where his money comes from. And that's also like. Thing today to like, I it's be influencers or whoever like there. Definitely there's a Kudreh of people all the people who could afford to go the fire festival, basically who we know where their money comes from. We don't know what's happening, and it's hard not to feel jealous. The Noida if you're working from the bottom and seeing this just like this wealth of top where they don't seem to be having to work at all for it. Or anything of that? There's a lot of resentment, right? And in the way that Stevens character can casually disregard the law. There's a scene where he offers to smoke marijuana with them. Right. And it is a highly controlled substance in South Korea. But the fact that he can just casually do it who gives a shit. He can do it. It's fine. It's an indication of his privilege saying cow. Go ahead. Then like how he expresses that? He has never cried before, you know, he's never know experience tragedy. But yeah. And when asked about his work, he describes it as I can't describe it to you. I play. Jeez. Inherent, you know, Mirroring of work and play these two opposite. I think the agreed with you about that Mirroring part. I do think that the part about him. Never crying is a good indication of his sociopathic possibly ethic. Tendencies, right. Like, this is basically, that's when you know, this movie's, basically, like South Korean psycho, basically. Yeah. I mean, in my opinion that performance chilling, right? Like it is. He's completely like seems emotionally detached. The way he laughs, the just like the way he yawns, you know, that guy could murder you and not feel about it. "Where are we clinched right now in terms of legalization across the country. And and it's a state by state thing, isn't it? It is there are several states that have legalized fully. Let's see Colorado being one of them hollering, Washington state. Let's see California, Oregon. I believe is also fully recreational. I think Vermont has recently gone there about eight of them have gone full full on legal. And then there's a whole assortment of states that have varying degrees of medical allowances different laws. Some are very well written and are very broad and others are really really really restrictive almost superfluous because they're so restrictive. It's it's growing by leaps and bounds. What is the federal government doing about this? Well, you know, that is pretty amazing in some ways because they seem to be at this point hands off the Trump administration has not gone after the state programs. The there was some concern when Jeff Sessions was the attorney general because he was very much against any softening of laws against narrow Lana. He's really a hard liner. And it's kind of surprising that he apparently was held in abeyance by Trump to keep him from descending on this social experiment that's going on. And so that that's an interesting aspect of this. The reins of freedom in this sense being loosened up a little bit. So the experiment can continue what's going on with CBD oil and things like that. Me. Wow. It's it's amazing George. I kinda I didn't see this coming blown my mind CBD is a non psychoactive component of cannabis plant. So we have THC which is a canal Noida, and that is I don't know if you remember Ali g on TV, but he's six eight is the high Khazar, and it is it is the psychoactive ingredient. That's the wall a part of it. Right. Yeah. It's the the primary one it's affected by in its expression by other compounds in the plant, so you can get different kinds of highs from the plant, but CBD is non psychoactive and it has medicine medicinal effects. But here's the strange thing about it. It's been embraced. And I think this is sort of our sort of puritanical mindset people want to say that CBD is good. It's the healing agent because it doesn't. Get you high. But this is just not accurate, according to what the plant expresses and what the compounds doing the body THC really is the over arching medicinal compound in cannabis. I often say we did not rediscover medical marijuana because of THC people weren't smoking it for relief for glaucoma cancer chemotherapy, they they didn't even know what would work for that it, and it, and it doesn't work the way THC does its receptor driven THC. We have these receptors in our our bodies and their express throughout our bodies, not only in the central nervous system that CB one receptors, but their CV to receptors and THC activate Caesar sceptres. Interestingly CBD steers activity away from your CB one and CB two receptors and has influences. On other receptors. So if you actually need CB one receptor activation. Then you do not want CBD, but I had a friend telling me, you can get CBD in WalMart now, and that's insane in some ways because there's so much restriction. But it's being mar mass marketed as sort of cure, all this panacea of everything just take CBD's ABCD, and you really need to understand what it's doing a study just came out last week that showed in glaucoma patients, and that's I pressure build up that causes blindness that it's THC that works and CBD aggravates the condition you want pure THC in your cannabis for that condition because CBD's stops the THC beneficial activity. It's just dramatic, isn't it? It's just dramatic the way it works. It is. And we're you know, there's so much. We don't know. I remember there is a great philosopher adventure Terence McKenna. And he used to say, the bigger we build a bonfire of knowledge, and the more darkness is revealed around us, and that sort of the situation we're in now because we're learning, but then we're finding out subtle aspects of these cannabinoid that we didn't understand, and there are other avenues their CB g can have a girl and a holes. Variety of these compounds that we we aren't sure exactly how they interact and what the applications are..

"And then when you turn around she'll pick it up in like, slowly, check it out and maybe come back to you in a week. And be like I was thinking about what you said. Do you think you need something from your mother in order to deal with the trauma, or do you think if you can't get it ever if you can't get it to deal with whatever you think you can? Still progress in your head. So interestingly, I think I did initially think that like because basically the situation is or has been a grew up with like a single like semi young not like super young. But like not old enough to be like I've thought about parenting. This was definitely my idea to have this child like I'm like a miss birth control pill baby right till like an asshole dad who like exists, but is absent emotionally in occasionally financially. He's would are you want from me? I'm like more. I don't know laugh like a whole bunch of stuff. And so my mom also has a bipolar disorder, which as do I like growing up I feel like she was going through so much. So it's like, you know, I give her grace in whatnot. Am not coming and saying, hey, you are so bad. Bed the same time between physical unlike more, so emotional, alike, abuse and manipulation and stuff. I just feel like it just wasn't fair to me growing up like, my least favorite example, would be a emotional manipulation would be her getting upset, and maybe I feel like oftentimes these things started outside of me. And then we're brought home, you know. But so her being upset with something and being hurt. And then saying Steph like, well, I'm gonna go for Dr maybe I won't come home to who. Does that does that and said these are the things, you know, the trying to dress both talking to a friend of mine about it so weird and like perfect this conversation. It was so needed. And she was like I recently tried to talk to my mom about some stuff. And she wasn't receptive. At all. And I ended up begging therapy. And what I learned was that. You may never get what you want a feel like you need from these people. But you don't need them to do this work. You don't need them to work through this stuff into get through it. And you may never get what you want or feel like you need from them. But you know, maybe you don't need it. And so your healing and your recovery and you're getting through this does not hinge upon them. And that was great while. Yeah. So I was like all right cool. I can do this. And maybe I'll bring it back to her because I'm still Noida with her. I'm still Nord with her and I still like to get some of the behavior especially on the emotional side is carried on to this day. And so it's still like to call her out yet. I'm like, maybe I'll do it when it hurts less freaks me out lesser. Yeah. Yeah. Or at least when and then it's mo- base. On the future like house. How do I want to answer the phone when you call? Yeah. And allow yourself to not answer it when you can feel guilt a sham any other kind of lying. I probably should that home in. I think the grossest part to me of the whole thing is realizing that the way that we interact in our relationship, and my being a caregiver for someone who's a dealer with all the stuff and also kind of bending for someone who's doing all this stuff. How that's carried into like some relationships into my dolt life. I keep making really strong willed friends. And then I find myself, I'm not a follower. But when someone just really wants to lead. I'm like, I'm easy going. I'm one of those people would ever. Okay. And then it's like so much. Okay. So much whatever. The now we're not doing anything that I wanted to do. And I'm just starting to kind of realize that more and more and. So I'm like a need to go to the source who is the original pushy woman in my life. Well, you know, when did it all by Paula? How does that manifest itself in your in your life and in your brain?.

"News. You know, what my favorite part about this as whenever there's a. Oh, jeez. I don't know where I stand on this. If one side is screaming through a megaphone disturbing the peace marching blocking traffic and screaming and threatening. We will be in your district's. We will be here. We will be. I'm not on that guy side. Okay. Nor are most Americans. We're in Noida that guy with the megaphone. And my favorite thing about this whole story out of Richmond today where they're complaining because they ranked number thirty four in teachers salaries in the country, which means they're in the bottom fifty percent. But they're also not, you know, number forty four or number fifty. The other thing that really I thought was rich about this. What happened today in Richmond? Is that in the Richmond school district today was a negotiated professional day for teachers this is the day that they negotiate into their collective bargaining agreements where they can work on their curriculum. They can work on their lesson plans. They can you know, they need a professional day. So the kids get the day off of school. You know, just just what is it two weeks after Martin Luther King day, which was already a mandatory death school and two or three weeks before president's day where everyone's going to have a day off of school will they negotiated this as a professional day today where all the teachers get to stay home, the kids stay home from school. There is no school in the whole idea is that the kid teachers are supposed to better themselves and read this is by the way, also four weeks after winter break so they needed this day off, and what did they do with their professional day? They went and marched on the capital screaming into a megaphone, chanting and singing. Yeah. All.

So I started off the show in Noida with the way the studio wasn't cleaned. And some guy without a profile picture gets in my mentions and says, oh, how about you just shut up already. Stop crying and talking to whoever is keeping the studio dirty say to their face like a real, man. I look at his profile pictures profile pictures and egg the irony in that someone is telling me to tell someone something to their face. This guy's tweeting me in an anonymous fashion with a number of one four zero two seven eight five seven on his Twitter account, and he doesn't even have a profile picture. So the man without a face is telling me to tell someone. To say something. Want me to say something I have a problem with to someone else's face. Oh. That's what you get.

But that was just wanna make sure we're on the same page you like, okay. Well, let's talk about who. I like. So sitting next to me. Did you watch that? But so last night. Okay. So I just don't get into that a little because it was okay. It was so awkward for me watching it. I think that watching that scene with Adam Anais away. Let me let me back it up a second. So why y'all didn't see was like before that? I mean out of been really good friends for like two years now like super close, and we had gone on a date that was filmed. And then we hit like it was so much fun. Like, we did dinner. We did drinks went to chain smokers concert. Like, we had a really great night. It was the same night that all the girls girls night, and I wasn't invited. And I was like, I didn't even know. I wasn't invited excited note was happening. I was like I was on a. Day like we were having fun. And like there's a lot of cute moments that I hope coming up on the future episodes. Everyone will see. But I'm of course, this is the first scene, you see me an atom, and you don't see like asking me on a date or us going on a date or anything like that. And I just got like he looked like he could not be more annoyed with me building. Not that. I wasn't annoyed. It wasn't that at all. It was you love to make me uncomfortable ideal situation possible. So and like at this time, we've not hooked up like we I think we had like one drunken kiss. So that does the thing if he look he looks at Noida that just means that you guys are comfortable enough with each other from your background is friends. Yeah. To now, whatever you guys are that just as that you're comfortable enough around each other that you can look annoyed. Yeah. But I did I like there's this thing where I would I would always just like overly slur with them. Because I mean, look at he's gorgeous, obviously, even better with the Sturt off. But I would I guess I forgot those day because that seems like so long ago now like used to always make me so uncomfortable, but like in like acute way. And I was like oh my God. I forget used to do that. Because I'm like, oh, you know, if you're high you can take your shirt off, and he'd just like as I'm watching this. I'm like, okay. Wait, please. Tell me that isn't like another rob season where there's a guy in front of my face who's like clearly like not in and I'm like, oh my God, Google allies. And that's what I felt like that scene. Looked like so I'm wrong Doron. I mean, we're all our own. Worst critic when it comes to that stuff, especially watching something back like that you're going to critique everything. Well, of course. And that's the first thing that viewers really see us interacting with each other's like that scene, and I'm like come on. I mean, I I think it would have been better. If that wasn't the first scene were more. Obviously that when I mean, we work together at, sir. Like, I'm, but I know there will be I mean, it was a long summer. We have a lot of episodes still air, but I just wanted to touch on that a little because the my just just. You really do over by. Yeah. I thought you would really good. Well, thanks, and then it was so annoying. Did you see what Jack sad? I was pretty brutal content seven around, you know, we had a caller that used to work for Domino's pizza and had no idea who the noise was brought up as a joke. And I was ready to get a fist bump, and he's like, it's annoying. He just didn't know about twenty seven or so, but this was this was about a good seven years ago. But we didn't push it with them. You know, I we wanted to get annoyed. We just looked at alone. But actually he made the news years later because he was proclaimed to be Daniel cormier as number one fan. And the Boston Herald did an article on them Daniel Cormet wound up flying them out to one of his fights. And they've been in touch ever since. Oh, no shit. So what happened was he he okay? This was about three or four years ago. And there was a change. It was an injury the change in location or something in one of our listeners rust from Boston.
