"Social media and are no website that in terms of dot com Nancy, where I'm with New Jersey Transit spokesperson Nancy Schneider. Can you give us an idea of when you think you'll be up and running again? Yeah. I mean, we're you know, we're working to do that now, Uh, we're hoping by either later this morning or early this afternoon to restore a level of service. We want to make sure that the service that we would restore Is, you know, sustainable In light of, you know, there are many moving parts and transit. Um, and a lot of it got pummeled with the ice. The wind? No. So we want to make sure all the infrastructures in place so that when we do is restore service, it will be, you know, consistent, sustainable. And so we're anticipating a little later on this morning. Well, you know, be making an announcement as to service adjustments. No moving parts right now, though. Hey, Nancy, switching it up here to the pandemic. You know, we're getting conflicting reports about taking public transportation and the spread of the virus and I've I've heard here. I've read there that actually people are not really picking it up when they're taking Public transportation's They're getting it more from small gatherings in their own homes. What's your feeling about the safety during this pandemic of public transportation? NJ Transit has taken many measures in response to this is a covert virus appropriate precautions. We You know, work very closely with state health and health officials. We follow state and federal health official guidelines. We remain committed to protecting the health and safety her employees and customers. And you know, we enhanced our cleaning procedures very early on in the pandemic, and you know customers can be rest assured that our system is safe and we are very vigilant. We increase the frequency of cleaning regiments around the stations on our vehicles, So you know, so they should have ease of mind in regards to taking NJ Transit. Nancy, Let me ask you something, because I've been doing this show now, for all around six years, and it just seems over that six year period there were more problems with NJ Transit than the other transit systems in the area. And here we have Ah, snowstorm coming in you preemptive flee, Take a strike and shut things down. But the other train systems are running in our area. Why is it Am I wrong? Why is it seemed to me that there seemed to be more problems with NJ Transit than the other systems around Well again. Let's let's go back to this storm. We wait. Suspended service out of an abundance of caution. All right, the safety of our customers employees is our highest priority. And we take that mission very seriously. And in doing so, you know, we took the Putin action. Of suspending service so that there was no possibility of again. The meteorologists were predicting that this storm was going toe ramp up. Not once but twice. And then I think some of the predictions were as heavy as three inches an hour. And you know, you gotta understand what the inclement weather elements does, too. Our infrastructure, and we did not want to be in a position where customers could potentially be stranded in cars. Should we have some switch problems from overhead wire problems? I mean, we do. A lot of things year round as well as just before the storm to prepare for storms, But we also have to be very prudent in regards to you know. Making sure that we are acting in the best interest of our customers and employees from a safety perspective, and that's the call we made. It was a complex storm. The storm had yet to ramp up. And we wanted to be prepared for it. And we we notify customers one advance that we were, you know, going to suspend service to give them enough time to make some truck, you know. Travel arrangements, talking to New New Jersey Transit spokesperson Nancy Schneider. Nancy, I'm curious. What's.

"It's not fun. Please don't do it. Please stop doing it to women. So you would be against this. You know what? This may shock you, Jeff. But I am anti groping women. Yeah, Yeah. You think we would all be, um This is too personal to ask. You were asking people this ever happening? I'm assuming I assume this has happened pretty much wants to every woman alive. It has I don't want to get into the details but groped when I was younger and flashing college was another student. Pardon by another student like it was on campus or were you off campus on campus? So you get so you might see this person? Yes. Oh, I was in a club with this person. Wow. God, Yeah. So that's not fun. Don't do it. People think you know what the hell I know. I never understood the whole thing. I just What? What are you getting out of that something very but I mean, just think this guy in the story 15 times. These are just the times either It was caught or he was reported. All right? Probably most times. I bet you these things never get reported. Well, you know, and that's another great question. Ask anybody. Ladies, if you could call us you don't have, you know, only give us the details that you're comfortable giving. But if you ever groped pinched whatever. Flashed. Did you ever even bother reporting it? Because I bet you most don't know. They want to go about their day, right? It seems like it's such this. Ah! Not acceptable. It's it's not acceptable by law enforcement, but it seems to be way too acceptable among people in general, you know, and I don't get it, man. I don't get it at all. I don't get it. All right. Well, we'll take your phone calls on this at 1 800 to 83101.5. Yeah, man, Like what does it take? Four of those charges to ever be serious enough to actually get this guy in the jail time. I wonder how much he ever even did. Honestly there if he did any It's the police said that he had just been released from jail over the weekend following his arrest on another charge last week. So now that Charlie's last week well which right? I mean, like he was this guy apparently allegedly can't stop himself. Even while he's awaiting the most recent charge. And I mean, if he is that compulsive if he is that pathological about doing something like this beyond being banned from NJ Transit, How did they just have this revolving door Where they let this guy out? I don't know. There's no consequence at all. No, I mean, do they do the court's just not take this seriously enough? I would think that cops would Because, you know cops have girlfriends. Cops have wives. If they don't. They certainly have a mom. You know, But why the hell would the court system not take this more seriously and keeps the guy locked up? What a pain in the ass is guys being all right? So you know a couple of things here. First of all. Even if it's never happened before in the history of NJ Transit in the state. Should a guy who keeps doing this be banned from ever getting on NJ Transit again and who has been a victim of groping or flashing 1 800 to 831 a 1.5 at 3 18 New Jersey Fast Travis still.
