"You don't update Monday Night Football. Steelers lead the browns 13 to 7 with about 13 and change to go in the fourth quarter fantasy football freaks. Steelers rookie running back najee Harris has broken Franco Harris's rookie rushing record for a single season. He's got one 13 on the ground that I don't 19 carries Ben Roethlisberger. His last game and Heinz field, 24, 43 for a buck 23 one touchdown one INT, Baker Mayfield 8 of 23 for one 28, one touchdown, one INT, which are on Davenport coverage to Tennessee Titans. I mean, if it's image on ESPN radio, the ESPN app series XM channel 80 and a bit of baker's defense. And he was started one for ten, four were batted down four drops. Not easy when you've got that going on on the road with an icons, last game with a terrible towel is being waved in your face. Yeah, definitely not the way you would want to start out, but I mean, it kind of is what it is, man. You know, baker, it's a hot and cold situation. No doubt, but when he heats up, man, that guy definitely could do some wonderful things. So I'm not going to take credit from him from that perspective. Nick Chubb, ten carries 58 yards tonight with a long of 32 as well. All right, this is ridiculous. It's about to happen with the Tennessee Titans. They are tied for the best record in the AFC. Still fighting for home field. Which is nuts, by the way, because in case you are just tuning in, there's only one team going into week 18 that has locked up their seed. That's the Green Bay Packers. They're the number one seed in the NFC. They have home field throughout. Everybody else is still fighting for something. This weekend, which is a glorious for all of us because we are still emotionally and some of us may be financially also invested. Around, you cover the Titans, you know them about as well as anybody. What is the latest on Derrick Henry and his availability coming up for the playoffs? Yeah, they're expecting him to be ready to go. And that's why it's so significant for them to get this home field advantage so they can have them out there on the natural grass and he worked out today and he has worked out ran on the field with on cleats, you know, with his cleats on last week and he's just gradually worked his way back into being able to play football and you know we're talking about what 8 weeks it's been the injury is typically 6 to ten weeks, so there's a chance that he could play this weekend on the season finale. Why would you do that? Exactly. And the big reason for me is just the fact that they're on that next turf and that is terrible for an athlete's foot. And that's actually where he heard himself, you know, at the same type of playing service in Indianapolis. So if they get that biweek, I mean, he's going to be there for them in the divisional game. And I could just imagine Nissan stadium just how crazy it's going to go because outside of Eddie George, you know, there's only one other player whose name they first named Nate chant. And that's Derek Henry. And man, it's going to be a really great atmosphere. And that's just going to give that team such a boost. You watch him when he has those big time runs, the stiff arms and just, you know, when he does what he does, I mean, look at this sideline and watch the defense of players, rashawn Evans and those guys. They go crazy and it's just an energy that he single handedly injects into not only the teammates, the coaching staff, the whole stadium. And again, it's an embarrassment of riches now if you get him back. But what if they don't get home field? Do you think he'll be available for that first weekend and coming up in two weeks? Yeah, I think he will because it would be 9 weeks. And honestly, I believe that if they wanted him to play this weekend he could do that. You know, so if they have to go out and play on quote unquote, wild card weekend, he could do it. You know, and they expect him to be there for him in the first game of the playoffs. That's the expectation for them, whether that's the wild card round order divisional route. How much does Mike rabe's personality just ooze through the rest of that team and that organization? Absolutely. And he's referred to as guys as street rats. He's referred to them as hyenas, and even lately, you look at some of the guys that came in, doctor hill, your buster scream, Deontay foreman. He called her, he said, you know, these guys were out there and they didn't have a home. And they're like, stray cats. They came in. You know, I love his references. You know, but yeah, I think especially when you watch the defense, both sides and the trenches. You watch them just the level of physicality that they bring. You know, you got roger safford and Nate Davis, Ben Jones, these guys, you know, Taylor the one, they're grabbing David. He got emotional, man. Yeah, the wine, especially because he was with the Titans in the dark days. You know? But when you see those guys escorting defense alignment like bouncers, escort a rowdy customer out of the club, you know, that's what they do. You know what I mean? And then defensively, man, that guy denico Autry probably one of the most underrated signs. He has 9 sex, but you talk about whooping behinds up front. He does that on a weekend and week out basis and then Jeffrey Simmons, I mean, there's so much physicality there. They brought in Zack, Cunningham, who's, you know, just like a Tasmanian devil out there and David long. We're Sean Evans Kevin Byron playing center field. Christian Fulton is having a really good year quietly as well. So they definitely just their aggressiveness and their physical style of play. That does reflect Mike bravo. Home field still at stake in the AFC Tennessee's ad Houston Kansas City at Denver and the Cincinnati Bengals who are playoff bound at ten and 6. They're at Cleveland. I can't wait to see how this whole thing shakes out, man. When it comes to home field and how much is still left on the line when it comes to the National Football League in week 18 for playoff seating. And really quickly, when was the last time Derek Henry, AJ Brown, Julio Jones, Tannehill, or on the field together. Our price say like week 6, maybe too high. And there's still an 11 win team. Right. And it gets mostly playoff teams, by the way, from last year. That's almost unfair, man. It really is. All right, update Monday Night Football. Steelers still lead 13 7. About ten and a half minutes to go in the game has been Roethlisberger just had Chase claypool up the left side and in and out of his hands and now second and ten for the Steelers will keep you up to date as that game continues to progress. "And he was such a super anytime talent like that, leaves this planet. We're worse off for it. I mean, like I said before, I'm a huge rush fan, and you think about the death of here. Yeah. My gosh. Just the fact that that talent is no longer here. The world's worse off board. Well, here's the thing, too, Carl. I mean, think about this prince would be 63 now, you know, I just saw the stones two weeks ago and Mick was 80. France might not have had chart topping hits. He might, but more importantly, prince is a guy that could be playing stadiums and arenas all around the world. So you're right. He had a long way to go and it is a shame that it was cut down at such an early age as to be honest as we all get older, 57s pretty young when you put it in this perspective, right? Yeah, sitting here at 51, you know. It's a little closer to home than I would think. The interesting you say that because that's a great point, just a few weeks ago, we saw The Rolling Stones at Nissan stadium in Nashville, Mick Jagger, just my wife and I went and saw him and we both agreed. And we've seen many concerts and that's what we do in my website is cover concerts and it's the best one. It's the best one. I agree. It's still the best one. I know I've said this a few times, but this really is the last question. You mentioned it being a police officer and we talked about fentanyl on the problem that is, if anyone's listening, what kind of warning or thoughts can you give? Because once again, I have teenagers, my son just went to college and it's all you can say is, don't take drugs because, you know, that's all over the place now. Any kind of final thoughts on the fentanyl issue and the problems that we're having with that in these days? You know, absolutely. We think about it's my personal opinion that there is so much only so much you can do. At the end of the day, it's a personal choice. I'm glad in so many ways that we are at least this stigmatizing to some degree people with addiction nowadays in modern society where you can come out and get help. And it is looked at in a lot of ways as a health crisis rather than some sort of personal moral failing on one's part. If I were talking to youngsters at teenagers, look, you can say, say no to drugs all day long and look where that got us. Right, right. Yeah, yeah, right, right, right. Putting wisdom and knowledge in youngster's heads to make good decisions no matter what it is. If you're making good wise decisions about your future, the thing about young people would when we were young, we didn't think about our future if we could we would have done a lot of things differently. But the future is real and here you and I are sitting here roughly in the same generation looking back thinking, man, if I could tell my 17 year old self, you know, what I know now, what would I tell myself and, you know, that would build volumes. I would tell them, it's not a moral failing to have addiction, but you stay away from it. You know, we, if our generation, it was cool. It was cool to do, and we felt like we were really well, there's a lot difference between smoking some weed or smoking some hash and worrying about having cocaine laced with fentanyl. Exactly, right? Exactly. Yeah, it's just dangerous, be aware. I think kids nowadays are a lot more health conscious than we were in a lot of ways. I think they're more athletically minded, one of the biggest rules about being an athlete is mind what you're putting in your body. Mind what you're putting in your body. Well, that goes there too. We'll call it great talking to you, man, and I appreciate it, and like I said, if you have the top 100 darkest moments, if any of them stand out to you, let me know and we'll do this again. Well, don't let Chris Jericho be one of those. No, hell no. No, I've survived that. There's still time, so don't make Julius. I will make the list. Come on, I'm the list guy. Thanks, Carl. My pleasure. Thank you very much for having me. Great talking to me, man. Cheers. Yes, sir.

"And he got out to the perimeter on the first play of the Titans final possession. And I was just out there and it was like, oh my God, he is going to stiff arm a woozy into the earth's core and break off a 40 yard run here and like, nope. Yeah, just sort of fans on the stiff arm, a woozie, get some on the ground, three yard gain and that kind of encompass the day. The Titans fans in this game were wonderful. I have to say, and the Titans were cool that they announced Derek Henry last for the starting lineup and the place just like erupted and they really tried to play off of that. But if I was again, God, he's in my head. You know, I'm not the second guessing him, but down to foreman. He was running really well in that case. He was moving at a different speed. I know, and I was kind of like, you might as well just kind of go back to that. But again, he would have been second guessed the other way. When used to move Derek Henry's round. But my favorite moment from that was at the end of the game, Ryan Tannehill throws the interception and Titans fans are like really nice. They're like the Canadian NFL fan general. I was walking the concourse before the game and there was a Bengals fan that was just walking up, or no, there were Titans fans that were walking up and just meowing it Bengals fans, which I thought was very funny. Just going up and going. And then just walking away, which I really liked, but then there were two groups like a Bengals fan group and Titans fan group that got into like a minor like not even like a real scuffle, but just like our team's better than your team. But then it got a little hot. So I think like it probably got some attention in the concourse. And then Titans fan just kept saying, have a pleasant trip home. Have a pleasant trip home. Like in a really mad voice and I was like, God, I love this. I love love, love this fan base. But anyway, so Ryan Dan hill throws the last pick. And Nissan stadium is quiet. The quietest I've ever heard of football stating because everyone knows Joe burrows is going to come and throw the ball 20 yards and they're going to kick the game winning field goal. And you can hear a pin drop in there and some guy like 12 rows back on the 50 yard line. Just like at the top of his lungs just goes far. But you can hear it like anywhere in the stadium. You could just hear it, and then that's how everyone felt at that moment. It was like, you're right. The game's over. You lost. And it's a real bummer. But I felt for them. Cool fan base, a cool team. Mike vrabel said it after the game. He said, for as long as I'm here, it's not going to be about one player. And then he said, and I'm going to be here for a very long time, which I thought was like an odd way to punctuate that. Maybe he knows something about his own contract that we don't, but I think they just have a cool vibe down there. I wish they could have more, like, nice players and nice things. And I just want to say, I hope that you just don't know it, but the fuck guy at midfield. That's like the tradition. Every game day lose..

"The videos and let's read some of the narrative here. The federal aviation and administration has been in contact with the U.S. Army's 101st airborne division about a flyover earlier this month at Nissan stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Four helicopters, two AH 64 apaches, a CH 47 chinook, and a UH 60 Black Hawk from a unit assigned to that division flew extremely low over the stadium at the start of a football game between the Tennessee Titans and the New Orleans Saints. Though there has been no formal review of the flyover so far, experts and observers have since race safety concerns about the event. The investigative team at news channel 5, a CBS affiliated television in Nashville, first reported on the FAA reaching out to the 101st airborne division, which is based fort Campbell in neighboring Kentucky yesterday. The flyover at Nissan stadium took place on November 14th and it was part of a salute to service for men and women of the U.S. armed forces that the Titans organization incorporated into that game that day. Quote from army lieutenant colonel Kerry mcewen, said the unit has that conducted the flyover is in contact with the FAA Nashville. At this time, there's no scheduled review, although I think later in this story, there was an addition or an addendum that says that looks like now the FAA has opened an investigation regarding this. Some people who have watched the video and also were actually there at the stadium have floated points of potential concern with the flyover, including the possibility of the helicopter for the helicopters to have struck some part of the stadium as they flew over. A video shot from the cockpit of one of the AH 64s seen earlier in this piece when the Tennessee Titans posted online shows that the helicopter was below the highest point in the stadium as a passed overhead. Some sort of mechanical failure at such low altitude was another concern. But somebody else said it's possible that the downwash from the rotors could have kicked up objects and debris in the stadium. Posing an issue for bystanders down below. Somebody there's a quote from somebody that fly over was a little too close to knocking down the flags and camera. One fan tweeted out afterward, I'm sure an aviation expert. Sarcasm. FAA regulations require military flyovers to be accomplished at 1000 feet above the highest obstacle. Larry Williams, the retired aviation safety inspector, told news channel 5 investigates, if civilian aircraft had been involved most likely those pilots would have had their licenses suspended or revoked, revoked. He added, that being said, this is a recurring issue for the U.S. Military and disciplinary action has been taken against pilots who have flown fixed wing aircraft, low over sporting events and violation of those regulations in the past. However, an official guide to low flying aircraft available on FAA's website says that helicopter operations may be conducted below the minimum altitude set for fixed wing aircraft. The reason they have unique operating characteristics, the most important of which is their ability to execute pinpoint emergency landings during power out emergencies. It also says includes the caveat that helicopters may be operated at less than the minimums prescribed in this section of the operation is conducted without if the operation is conducted without hazard to persons or property on the surface. It isn't clear if any army regulations applied in this case, in addition to the FA directors for rotary wing flyovers or if any waivers have been secured in advance. Anyway, so the update, as I mentioned, says that the FAA has, well, the FA says, we did not comment on pending investigation. So it sounds like there is a pending investigation regarding this flyover. So I'll just start off by saying I looked at it. I thought it was pretty cool. I didn't see a problem with it. But again, I'm not the person that's going to make the judgment whether or not there was a violation or not. But I'd like to hear what everybody else thinks. I mean, if you just read by the regulations, you go to the FAR. It's 91 one 19 for anyone who wants to go back and look it up. And for general aviation aircraft, VFR, what it says is for over congested areas, including cities, towns, settlements, or any open air assembly of persons, which this would be an open air assembly of persons. An altitude of 1000 feet above the highest obstacle within a horizontal radius of 2000 feet of the aircraft is what you need to maintain. But then there is a subsection, as I mentioned in the article that for helicopters, helicopters may be operated at less than the minimums prescribed, provided that the person operating complies with any roots or altitudes specifically prescribed for helicopters by the FAA. I think you missed out one of those regulations. The one that says, if you're wearing a cowboy hat, then it's okay. Exactly. Where's my cowboy hat? I'm gonna get my cowboy hat and wear that for the rest of this. But I agree with Jeff I mean, I don't think that anything was it low? Was it dramatic? Yeah, a little bit. It was intended. It was supposed to be. It was a sleuth deserve. And I think if they had planned it this way in advance and done and it doesn't look like they were trying to figure out what to do with the last minute. That's how they intended to do the fly over. I don't really have a problem with it. Oh, yeah, I think it's much I do about nothing. I mean, I would have been super excited to be standing there where I was filming that and be like yeah. So Carlos like low flying helicopters near where you work? We very lucky, Jeff, because where we're based is on an old raw Air Force Base, B-17 base, so we've still got part of the main runway still there. And the guys at RAF watch them, which is an Apache age 64 based far use us as a kind of target and landing practice grind, but they do. Can they come over? They come over at minute or maximum, probably 400 feet, mostly below that. They come over. But we're not in a hugely residential area so it's not a big issue. Plus they're under control from watching them there because it's uncontrolled space where we are. But they kind of below, really, though you can see the guys sitting in the seat and they wave quite frequently, but yeah, I don't complain about it. I would argue that the pilots of these military helicopters are probably some of the best helicopter pilots in the world. I don't have any practice. They knew what they were doing, you know? It's all coordinated. Everything is coordinated. And your head at the same time? Oh, I forgot. Helicopters and balloons. We don't bring that up on next year with us. You guys can see I've got my sensible hat on. So I'm just gonna get used to qualities bestowed on me by a sensible hat. And just say, I'm such a crisis. Princes. I just feel like I had nearby. Exactly. The difference between a safe and unsafe flight path can be very small. And you'll fly past doesn't have to be on that margin to look great. And to be impressive and to be fantastic. You know, I think if they had been 500 feet higher, everyone would still have been suitably 500 feet high, I'm talking 50 feet higher. Still suitably impressed. Yeah. It was totally look great, but I think that very little comment would ever have been made about it. So that 50 feet or perhaps a hundred feet is probably all that separates them from going back and carrying on their day's work without a worry carrot, the wild are now facing an investigation. Yeah. Well, you know what I have to say about that? Sorry, Seth. Oh my God. You. Did you have the what is it called the something tacos, the white, only did not have any weight, dark chocolate. I just figured that maybe that's why Carlos was having some digestive issues. It's the extra onions I put in last night's meal. Yeah. I did let Carlos cook last night. All right, interesting. All right, well, can't wait to hear about that as well. All right. Continuing on. This is just as groundbreaking news here. Oh wait, thank you. You didn't warn me soon enough. Here we.

"But I think there's some concepts in there based upon what the browns do defensively where they can have some success running it a little bit when Mac Jones does drop back to pass. He's going to face a front that can get after the quarterback, obviously. The browns are generating the second best pressure rate. Their number one and passwords win rate as well. And I think the big difference is compared to Carolina last week is Cleveland doesn't blitz as much to get their pressure. Certainly facing Carolina, though, I think is a nice pre test for Cleveland. Jones was only pressure on 25% of his dropbacks a week ago. The Patriots offensive line to your point there at the top and you kind of hinted at it is improving. They've started to get healthier. They're kind of figuring out what that rotation is going to look like. So they have been much better. But the game plan for the browns defense needs to be less stunts on early down so they don't get caught with some steamed up gassers, get Mac Jones throwing from shotgun and known passing situations. Force the Patriots receiver group to beat your secondary depth, which is damn good. And then pen your ears back and get after Mac Jones, but none of that can happen if the Patriots ground games going. Again, on paper, it doesn't really look like. That would be the case, the Patriots are going to be able to run all over. The browns and who knows if they can, but there are some scheme things that I could see unfold that give the Patriots more success on the ground than projections, especially if Harrison Stevenson both clear concussion protocol. Yeah, I mean, this is in New England team that we thought was going to get better as the year progressed. There were so many new pieces they had to integrate on both the offensive and defensive side, specifically at the quarterback position we weren't quite sure how Mac Jones was going to adjust the life at this level. But to this juncture of the season, you can make the case that New England may have as much upside as any team in the AFC is it good enough to be teams like buffalo, Kansas City, what have you on their best day in my opinion? Absolutely not, but at the same time, I think the Patriots restoring a little bit of that legacy and giving some optimism to a fan base goes a long, long way. This game should be great to see if the Patriots can finally get back to some of the basics, and actually win a home game, something they've really struggled with all season long. One of the biggest surprises though pain in the AFC this season has been, of course, the Tennessee Titans. And they find themselves a short home favorite Nissan stadium laying two and a half as they'll welcome in the New Orleans Saints total in this game, 44 and a half at FanDuel sportsbook. And by virtue of their win streak the Titans are now the number one seed in the AFC and own the league's longest winning streak all despite having a negative net yards per play average of -.3. They do have the easiest remaining schedule of any team in the league. What is fascinating to try and put in historical context? The Titans became just the fourth team in the Super Bowl era to win four consecutive games all as underdogs of three plus points. The last time we saw it was in 2012 with the Minnesota Vikings, income the New Orleans Saints, though, and there hasn't been a better head coach in the National Football League winning when oddsmakers don't expect them to than Sean Payton. We've seen them go three and O straight up and against the number this season as an underdog. All of those wins by 9 plus points, 11 and two straight up and ATS in this underdog role since the start of 2018. And if you're a bigger fan of sample sizes, the saints under Sean Payton's leadership 44 24 and two against the spread when they're catching points, all things that go up must come down pain and we saw the writing on the wall for this Titan's offense that couldn't eclipse 200 yards against the rams, albeit in a win and Sunday Night football. Will they remain stubborn and continue to establish a ground game behind the likes of Jeremy mcnichols, Adrian Peterson and four other guys that carry The Rock last weekend against that rams defensive front? Four other guys. Who are they? I have no idea. I don't think Titan's fans do either, so I don't feel so bad. You know, we broke down Tennessee last week. They obviously won the game, but they did it with a 192 yards. That doesn't really breed sustainability on offense. I was interested to see what life without Derek Henry looked like not just from the output perspective. But if they would morph into more of a passing team in the opposite app and they kind of doubled down on the run. 26 runs for 69 yards. I know part of that was game script. But not very good. One first down, the Titans were 60 5 percent. 65% run on first down with Adrian Peterson. And they form it. Not for me. I mentioned that because New Orleans. Number one, in defense of Russia efficiency. Number two, in early down EPA per Russia out. The defensive line only got stronger recently when David and yamada returned after the 6 game suspension. Adrian Peterson's 36. He's nearing 4500 college in NFL touches at this point. He is months away from the glue factory probably. We said that's not viable replacement. We've said that before with AD and he continues to look like Lazarus rising from the dead. He ran really upright. He was not moving people forward, even when in past years right when he obviously doesn't have the burst and the quickness and the agility once had. But he was always able to like move piles forward. And that really wasn't the case against the rams either. So that was kind of concerning to me. First game just got called in last week. Maybe that changes a little bit, but he was running really upright. It was bizarre. To me, he's not a viable replacement for Derek Henry. Nobody is. And candidly Derek Henry wasn't even efficient running on early downs in this offense either..

"Good morning. I'm Toni Kroos. Scott Fitzgerald. What's happening in sports? Thank you very much, Tony. All eyes on that Friday night lights in just a couple of days with just two days left until another edition. Throughout the Commonwealth. It's time of press. According to the Cage s A. There were just three games not being played this week due to Covid. We'll see if that number holds over the next couple of days. They are Frederick Douglass taking on Henry Clay North Harden and John Harden and South Warren at Paducah. Tillman again just three games in Friday night lights not being played, staying with the longest college football teams around the Commonwealth and the Hoosier state continued to prepare for week three of the college football season. One team we didn't play last year due to Covid will face off against an NFL Hall of Famer Kentucky State travels to Nashville this weekend to do battle with Tennessee State and first year head coach Former Tennessee Titan Eddie George. And for George, he understands what his first one when his he's up against in his first year at the helm of the Tigers is going against those thoroughbreds fly off the ball. The quickness which jumps out at me is their ability to cut block effectively. They are efficient in their run game. They're very disciplined in the run games puts a lot of pressure on defense to make the right shits. To have discipline and to tackle get them on the ground. You'll make a couple of stops on 1st 2nd down and you have been 3rd and 13 or whatever, and they'll run the ball on the edge and get the first down. It's pretty impressive in there week one win. Meanwhile, Eddie George, returning to the floor of Nissan Stadium there on the field. For the first time since being a player making his debut as a head coach. We'll hear more about that, as the morning goes on. Speaking of the NFL the New Orleans Saints are dealing with some covid 19 issues of their own ahead of their game against the Carolina Panthers Sunday. ESPN reporting eight members of the team have tested positive for Covid 19 that includes six offensive coaches, one player and a nutritionist. That makes them all questionable For Sunday, the seven staff members were fully vaccinated as head coach Sean Payton mentioned during training camp at the entire staff was vaccinated. New Orleans is now in enhanced Covid 19 mitigation protocol will have to wear masks and be tested daily, regardless of vaccination status, finally had a major league baseball. Former Louisville Cardinal Adam Duvall headed two run homer in the eighth. But it wasn't enough to Braves fall 5 to 4 at home to the Rockies. Freddie Freeman and Dansby Swanson also drove in runs. Now the Braves fall to 76 67. There remained 4.5 games up on the Phillies in the N L East. 5.5 up on the meds who we told you earlier lost. I'm sorry. You lost the Cardinals. The Phillies by the I'm sorry. The Mets lost the Cardinals. The Phillies lost to the Cubs, 6 to 3. Both are back at it tonight that is look at your sports and.

"Starts, and one of them is a final and that is in our nation's capital, where the Chargers went from l A to D C and got it done. They beat the Washington football team by the final of 22 16. Washington not only losing the game, but they also lose veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick with a hip injury. Taylor Nicky came in, tried to rally the Washington team to win. They took the lead at one point in the second half. But the bolts grind out a win and they get it done. 22 16. It is almost over in Buffalo. This could be a big upset the Steelers on the road taking on the bills. And the Bills were pretty dominant throughout the game, But the Steelers with some special teams play, and some good defense came to life. And now they are up by 10 on the Bills. 23 to 13. Buffalo has the ball, but they're down by 10 with under a minute left to go at Orchard Park. They are going to overtime. In Cincinnati, the Bengals and the Vikings Kirk cousins Mike Zimmer, Joe Burrow back after the gruesome injury a year ago, but they are tied 24 24 in Cincinnati. Going to overtime, The Bengals and the Vikings in Atlanta, two minute warning the Falcons could be the last hurrah format Orion, the Falcons getting blown out and embarrassed by the Eagles. 29 to 6 Pretty good afternoon for Jalen hurts. Who was the starter? For now? Despite some of the rumors during the off season, he is their guy, and he has thrown for 264 yards and three touchdowns again. The Eagles all over the Falcons in the A T. L 29 to 6. It's almost over in Detroit, where the 49 ers have lit up the lion's 41 to 25 the score, not even close to what the game has been like. It's been a blowout. The Lions getting some late garbage time points, but Jimmy G. Despite a fumble on the first possession on a bad snap, Responding with 303 yards and a touchdown, Trey Lance, the rookie got in. He threw a touchdown pass as well. And again the 49 ers all over the Lions, 41 to 25, spoiling the Detroit debut for the new Lions head coach Dan Campbell. Wanted to the surprises. The Arizona Cardinals opening up on the road at Tennessee against the Titans big game for both teams. Arizona opening up on the road against an FC team for the first time since 1997 and the Cardinals came to play today, blowing out the Titans 38 to 13 with 3 44 still left to go. At Nissan Stadium, Big day for Kyler Murray 280 yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry, who went over 2000 yards a year ago, Derrick Henry 17 carries 58 yards for the Titans so far in this one, and also now final the Seahawks over the Colts 28 to 16 the Panthers trying to hold down the Jets 19 to 14 with a minute 56 left to go. And how about this blowout in Houston? The Texans all over the Jags. 37 to 14 spoiling the debut for number one pick Trevor Lawrence, who's thrown three interceptions. The Jags have a 15 game losing streak. We're getting ready for the big game in Kansas City, the Chiefs and the Browns the playoff rematch coming up, We'll send you back out to Arrowhead. "Tampa Bay is going to face Nashville in the 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium series at Nationals, the Nissan Stadium. The game will be played February 26. That's exciting. If you're a lighting fan, for sure, it's time now to bring in the beat reporter of the Lightning. Our good friend Brian Burns burns. Great to be with you again, my man. And here we are. Stanley Cup final. Does this series have the potential to play out like we saw last series in terms of what the opposition to the Lightning? How they want to play. I think it's too similar teams. Yeah, for sure. I feel like the Islanders play a similar style for the Canadians play a similar style to the Islanders, and that they're trying to take away the middle of the ice or defensive focused. Initially, they don't get a ton of offense. Uh, it's more of the transition type of offense, where they try to force you into making a mistake and then capitalized on that mistake. They've been very opportunistic. When they get those opportunities throughout this playoff run, much like the New York Islanders were, uh, tight checking team they can roll four lines. Don't think people are giving them maybe around here not nationally. But maybe you don't. Tampa Bay and other people are maybe giving them as much credit as they deserve. There are really good team. There's a reason why they're in the Stanley Cup final. They're playing phenomenal right now. And they've got a great goalie Carey Price who was really hot. What more can you say about the Lightning's play burns up to this point? They win games. Ain't nothing they win games won Nothing. It really feels like this team is destined to repeat. Obviously, the Canadians are going to put up a really great fight and who knows how it's going to play out, But it's a team that can beat you in so many different ways. Yeah, And I think it's just those playoff experiences Those losses that they've had over the years that have been part of building that team. They can do that They can win different ways. They can play a defensive minded game like we saw. In Game seven, where they didn't give the Islanders anything that was as good a defensive effort as I've seen from this team in my seven years covering them. I mean, they had, what the one good chance of davillier. That was the decent chance that bar's L had, where it kind of the bounced off his stick. But he kind of had an open net, and if he's able to get a piece of that, it's probably in the back of the net. Other than that, they didn't have anything. The Lightning just lock them up. They really inside their defensive zone. They attacked guys. They went after, though they didn't give them time and space and But then they can win the game as well. They can play the track meets. Remember the 54 game against, UH, Florida the first game of the this postseason. Remember the 64 game against Carolina, where they were down 42 and came back and they can score in spurts. And then certainly the special teams is a big deal for this team. The power play has been a difference maker. Montreal's penalty kill has been a difference maker for them. That's going to be a big story in this series series is that Lightning power player versus Montreal, PK also turnovers in the neutral zone very similar to what we saw against the Islanders. You've got to think whoever takes care of the puck Puck management burns. When Tampa Bay is managing the puck, it seems like they are going to be a team that's really hard to be when they're managing the puck. And when they're passing this, Chris, that's a good Signed for me early in the game when the Lightning's passing his crisp. It's tape the tape. It's in stride. Guys aren't having to reach behind them to get a park. They're able to keep that speed game going generated into the offensive zone, and then those waves are able to come in and they're able to establish themselves. That's when this lightning team is clicking for me. 1st 5 10 15 minutes. How are they passing the puck? If it's tape, the tape should be a good sign for the Lightning..

Carey Price Brian Burns Chris February 26 Carolina 42 Nissan Stadium 64 game Stanley Cup seven years Tampa Bay Montreal 54 game Lightning first game Florida Nashville Game seven 2022 Navy Federal Credit Union Stad

Mass Vaccination Events

"Nashville held a major event over the weekend. And we're not talking super bowl major. It was a covert keen drive-thru party. I guess you'd say held at nissan stadium where the titans play ten thousand people getting their covid. Nineteen vaccinations on saturday. If we can pull that off. Why are we doing that across america. I mean i realize you have to have the volunteers and that's the key to be able to pull that off. You have to have hundreds upon hundreds of volunteers. do the covid nineteen vaccinations. But if we have the want and we don't have the scenes why can't we get it all done. And of course. They use the johnson and johnson vaccine. Which is the one time shot so all. Those folks in a couple of weeks will have been vaccinated. Be good to go. We could hold of those every weekend every other weekend or have one here one week and then memphis the next week we get it all knocked out really quickly. I must be missing something here to why it's not happening. Wouldn't the government want to organize that the fast we can get seventy percent of americans to vaccines that gets us to hurt immunity. And we're getting better all the time.

"But you couldn't get through if you tried. Not Now, That's where it should be after a super well car weekend, Alright, phone calls coming up a little later on. But first things first. We're joined right now by a senior NFL reporter. And insider for CBS Sports. And CBS Sports HQ. Is part of tops on CBS Sports Network. He previously worked for the Charlotte Observer and was a national NFL writer for Sports Illustrated. He is Jonathan Jones. Jonathan. Good, Have you back? What's going on? How are you? I'm doing Well, Jim, and I don't think we've talked in 2021 so happy New Year to you and yours. You too, bro. Happy New Year to you and yours. Now, if I told you before last night's game, Jonathan that the Browns without their head coach and play caller and multiple assistance, their top two corners and a pro bowl offensive lineman, we're going to jump on the stewards 28 nothing. What would you have said? You were insane. There's no way at all that it's going to happen. Um, you know, I had the Steelers going into this game because they were missing their coach of the year candidate. Head coach Kevin Stefanski. But you know if if they had given Stravinsky going into that game, I was absolutely taking the Browns because of how bad the Steelers look, Listen. They played 20 quarters of football in December, and they only looked good for two of those quarters, and that was the second half. Against the Indianapolis Colts, where Ben Roethlisberger in the offense looked like a team that actually was worthy of 11 wins. But you know, Mike Tomlin decided to rest them all four week 17. And that was his decision. Maybe Roethlisberger needed that time off because of his multiple elements, but it looked very clear that the Pittsburgh Steelers were rusty. Early on in that game, they finally got into a rhythm. And then, of course, Tomlin not believing in the right kind of moment, um, punching their on fourth and short when the obvious move was to go for it. Yeah, just just a mess of the game for the Steelers, and it's gonna be a very long off season and Pittsburgh Jones joining us all double back to that 0.1 minute. But as you tweeted during the game, quote, the copious amount of bleep Baker Mayfield is gonna talk after this. Like, what doesn't win like this mean for him and for the confidence of that Brown's team. Well, it's huge, and I mean, everybody knows what the Cleveland franchise has been through these last several decades. And so, you know, get that win in Pittsburgh. A place where you were, what six and 44 something like that leading up to that game, you know, against an arch rival. In the playoffs. That Z obviously huge, however. You know this is a team and I said this at the start of the year they seemed like front runners. If they get a lead on you, they're probably going to win. If you can get ahead of them early, you're probably going to win more so than the average team. But they've kind of shot that idea into the sun this season. They can play from behind. They can play in front of teams. The only thing is, you know, it's huge win. But now they have a gigantic test, of course against the chief. So you know the 24 hour rule. Go goes into effect here. Where Celebrated enjoy it, but you absolutely have to turn your attention as quickly as possible back to a team that I believe is going to repeat as Super Bowl champion Jonathan Jones is joining us. All right, so finish that thought, if you would when you've got a couple of powerhouse morning backs away, the Browns do and you've got a physical offensive line the way they do. Is it a style of play that can travel to Kansas City and cause some problems? Yeah, it absolutely is. You have a cold weather team. You, You know they're they're built and equipped. Cleveland is to win in January. We've seen them when? In December and January now, so, yes, it's possible. It's just that I don't know what team in the NFL of the 31 can actually beat the chief. Their teams that can give them games and we've seen it. There's a There's a fluke where the Raiders compete them right. But you know the bills are going to give them problems that they meet in the A F C title game. I think the Browns are going to give them problems if they meet, but the thing that it comes down to, at least for the chief says. They just can't beat themselves When you look at the 1st 12 games of the season that she's only turned the football over eight times through those 12 games in my home spinal three games of this season, says he sat out the last game they had seven turnovers. And so, including that three pick game against Miami, So you know they had to take better care of the football. And as we have seen with the Cleveland Browns coming off, especially this one last night, they can't be an opportunistic defense. So you cannot turn the football over against. We're talking Johnson Jones. All right, let me move along, Then. You know, there's so much Jonathan unpacked from that. Ravens Titans game. First of all, what did you make of how Lamar Jackson showed up and in particular that narrative that he can't win playoff games? Yeah, I thought the narrative was a little ridiculous. I mean, what's he struggled in his rookie season in that playoff game, and he got better there as the game wore on, and then in his next playoff game, obviously lost to the Titan. Accounts for 500 yards of total offense. The team just can't get it done on fourth down, So now you know it. It wasn't like it was a bomb out there and play off games and all right. The first quarter. It takes a little bit to get going. But You have a defense in the Baltimore Ravens that can bottle up Derek Henry's away that they were able to, you know, turn over Ryan Tannehill. And then, of course, Lemar Jackson. I don't really care about pass a rating with him. I don't care about yards per attempt or anything like that. He makes the plays that shift. The entire momentum and listen, we can talk about analytics that we can talk about whether momentum is real or not, but I think everyone watching everyone at Nissan Stadium and certainly the guys on either side line felt when Lamar Jackson broke off that 48 yard touchdown run where he looks like the fastest quarterback has ever been in the NFL. And how can you catch this guy when he does this? That that's backbreaking. And when you have a guy who can do things like that at the right time, and we can go back to the Cleveland Browns game from a few weeks ago, when he did that exact same thing and broke their backs when you have that That's going to allow you to win Football games and the month of January much progress in a play quite like that from a quarterback Jonathan Jones joining us, I mean it was had stretched during the season, wherein the Ravens were not looking at all like themselves. But as you point out there rolling right now, So how tough are they? And where the running like this? How scary A proposition is that for the bills? Well, yeah, it's really scary. And the fact is when they went through that sort of mid season Whoa, where Lamar didn't really have a de boned, you know that they didn't face a bunch of tomato cans..

"Tennessee 119 yards of offense, Baltimore 1 71. And you remember there was a time when it was Tennessee 1, 19 and Baltimore less than 30. That is completely changed here before the kids holding on the defense five yard penalty from the previous spot resulting today. First time so that I don't think it's gonna matter here. I thought I didn't think it was gonna be on the defense. I thought I was gonna be on the punt team because One of the protectors did through maybe Tennessee Titan player down, which normally is holding, But it really doesn't matter this point, and there's a little confusion right now, as far as what's going on the official skidding back together here to try to sort this out a smattering of boos coming for the 14,000 impatient fans here. Nissan Stadium Velodrome. Jerome Boger is a very experienced official has been a referee since 2006. Work several playoffs. They're marking off the steps of the football on setting it down at the 34 year old. First down follow tomorrow. So now the offensive defense is switch They give the right personnel on the field of will probably just have a field out after all this So before the party number 56 holding occurred, which gives us an automatic first down, Okay, but your own Boger was just as confused as everybody else. I think there for a minute, so Lamar Jackson head brings the offense back out 155 seconds on the clock. I think you take the knees which they are. That's what they'll do Jackson down to that right knee in the final five seconds tick off. So Tennessee scored the 1st 10 points and in Baltimore response by scoring the final tip points, and they will have the ball of the third quarter. As we reached the end of the first half, it's 10 to 10 between the Ravens and the tight.

Josh Norman: Taylor Lewan’s move “ultimate disrespect”

"We see the interpersonal rivalries being developed, but for Josh Norman, I feel really bad because it was the ultimate sign of disrespect to have killer over there Bacchus celebration in his face. And then right when Josh Norman wanted to fight him. He turns around and says, you know, what you're so little you can't do anything to hurt me. So I'm just gonna turn around and put my back to you. Because no matter what happens I'm going to be okay. That was to me. Ultimate sign of disrespect. And Josh Norman should be feeling pretty salty this week. I shouldn't since we're talking about the one on the titans team that has been kind of up and down this year. They found a way to manufacture some victories running the football. When needed a good defense when needed playing the upstart colts. Now, Andrew luck who after struggling to start the season of looked really good in their offensive line appears to be playing well doing a much better job on the defensive side. Also stopping the run the primetime Sunday matchup and essentially in a win if you're in or winning your endgame who do you like there? Oh, this is going to be a fun game. It's gonna be in my opinion. My most exciting game this weekend. The times have been really good at home or six and one at home right now the season they're playing this game at Nissan stadium in Nashville. And I think the titans are going to win this game. Marcus mariota. He's a guy that just finds a way to win. He doesn't have the best arm in the NFL. He's not the best passer, but his combination of his accuracy, his running ability. And then his just ability to find a way to win in those close games, in my opinion is going
