"Right. That is a major leaguer with has been stuck in my head for days. Thanks as always to jesse for lending me her musical brilliance and this is You know if you go to the baseball reference homepage they tell you the all-time count of major leaguers right which currently is set at thousand nine thousand nine hundred fifty one and some people have been counting down no counting up. I suppose to twenty thousand. Of course that does not include the negro leaguers who are now recognized by. Mlb has major leaguers and so you should probably add three thousand something to that count then. Hopefully baseball reference will at some point but coyness there have been a bunch of big leaguers. And we don't know most of them so we have each brought a major leaguer to meet and miami drew eager to meet. Today is another miami marlin so you were saying that there are only a of exciting marlin so far this season. Well here's one. I don't know if he's been exciting but his name is zak. Pop zach pop. Who is a right handed. Reliever for the miami marlins six four to twenty twenty four years old caught my eye mostly because of his name which i think is a a great name. Great baseball a lot of fun to say. Even that's a better name for a hitter or a pitcher. Because if he were hitter you could say he has a lot of pop but if he's a pitcher you can say well he he makes the mid pop so it works either way. I think it might actually be a better hitter name but it is. It is so objectively. Good that is It has it has to appeal. I think that's true. I had a hard time not taking padres rookie to kapita marcano. I now just like all time but that pop is pretty good. And here's what i know about sack pop who i knew nothing about an hour or two ago so he is the two hundred fifty six major leaguer from canada but the first from brampton ontario. So zach pop the pride of brampton. Did you know that brampton is the ninth most populous city in canada. I am half canadian. And i did not know that it is right behind bank oover. It's a suburb of toronto. Nicknamed the flour city formerly flower town. Which makes me think of flavored town with the mayor. Must be guy fieri but no the mirror brampton. Is patrick brown anyway. It was once a center of the greenhouse industry. A greenhouse hotbed if you will that his brampton but this is a major leaguer. Not meet a town in ontario but i bet there are more people in brampton than there have been major leaguers. Yeah they're a lot of people in preemptive learns out there you go zach. Pop was selected by the dodgers in the seventh round of the two thousand seventeen draft. He was signed by the out. Mardi lamb who also signed walker bueller and smith the catcher. So i for talent clearly. The dodgers traded pop to the orioles at the twenty eighteen trade deadline in the manny. Machado deal but then he missed the end of twenty nineteen and olive twenty twenty after. Tommy john surgery which is one reason why you may not have heard of sak pop. So the diamondbacks took him in the rule five draft and immediately traded him to the marlins for a player to be named later. And so he's a real five guy. There a lot of rule. Five guys in the majors this season. Several of whom are post. Tommy john guys. He's not even the only one in the marlins pen. There is another major leaguer. We have not yet. Met named paul campbell. Who also is in that boat and debuted the sheer and zack. Pop was actually drafted by the blue jays. Out of high school in the twenty third round in two thousand fourteen so he passed a chance to play for his hometown. Team his favorite team the bluejays or at least his previous favorite team. I assume the marlins are climbing that list but he passed up the blue jays to attend the university of kentucky where he majored in finance and also played golf and volleyball and hockey and i looked at his social media presence. There isn't much of one. He is on twitter but he does not tweet very often however he has tweeted once this month and he tweeted on april fourth april third. Twenty twenty one is date that our member for the rest of my life. No words can express how it feels to step out on the mound and live out the dreams you had as a kid. Thank you to everyone who supported me. And thank you god for the gifts you have given me. And marlins setup men anthony basquoe quote that and said i could see your leg shaking while warming up in the bullpen. But i knew the hitters. Were in for a rude awakening with that ninety eight mph sinker from hell. And actually it has been zach pop. Who is for the rude awakening. Thus far he didn't allow rapid spread trade ad so he made the opening day roster but he has allowed seven runs in five games and four and a third innings thus far. But you know maybe they'll keep him on the roster because he's real five guy. The canadian baseball hall of fame tweeted his tweet and said congratulations. Zack we can't wait to see you. Have your autograph added to our canadian. Mlb bat canadians. That make the show signed this bat. I did not know that there was a canadian. Mlb battle wonder how many of the two hundred fifty six canadian big lakers have signed that. Anyway i saw that. He ranks twenty eighth on eric. Long and higgins published marlins top prospect list and is not at the top of that list. He is twenty eighth but hey he's on there. And here's what eric wrote. Peak pop looked much like a turbo sinker slider high leverage low slot reliever with a shot to be set up guy but he looks more like a very solid middle inning option. Now he was sitting anywhere between ninety three to ninety eight during twenty twenty one spring training and more commonly lives ninety four to ninety six..

"Even if it's got a good pass rush his philosophy was and and i agree like if you got pressure up the middle with just four. You're going to have success against brady. You'll have successor begins every other quarterback too by the way. But you could wear out that pass rush. What you you won't get the mahomes is in the lamar's though that's the difference. Brady can't run away from that. Rush those. We've got a whole slew of quarterbacks in the nfl now that if you rush them up the middle they can run to the corner. They wrote how many times do you have god. Damn how many times did josh allen sprint towards the sideline. It's still complete a pass. Twenty five yards down the field. It's crazy oh no it's a it's it's impressive but when i mean you can wear them down. I just mean if you attempt fifty passes even if you're not sprinting. All over the place. That d. line from rushing you over and over and trying to beat that defender and get to the quarterback is very different than just trying to stop a run play. And you can wear those guys down just by making a rush the quarterback over and over and over and over and over again and will belichick would always do as he tried to run the ball against a decent run defense the first drive of the game and if that didn't work maybe he tested the second drive after that boom. Brady's just throwing the ball fifty forty five fifty times fifty attempts and that's we used to bet the over on anytime we saw good run defense. That bella check was playing especially in the playoffs. Bet the over on. Brady pass attempts i mean and it was just. It was just stealing money. It was just stealing money. But i'm just curious to see what they're going to do against the saints because the saints have a good run defense and good pass rush and we know tampa has had very little success against the saints so far this season so that game is going to be fascinating. But that was that lattimore versus mike evans thing because we just. We just did this again. With jalen ramsey she shutting down decay metcalf again. Like lattimore is just had this guy's number where it might get right just hasn't done anything. And if you're taking mike evans out of the deal then. This may be the reason that they were willing to sign antonio brown. You know like you say warrant it. You would think if you're tampa. Now you're the one that makes all the adjustments just like you were talking about well baltimore. You're the one that makes all the adjustment. You just say fine this you kicked our ass but you kicking our ass like this again. You're right and so derrick henry kicking our ass so you just decided this guy is not running the ball if ryan tannehill beats us then so be it but this guy is not running the ball on us and right you would hope that tampa and bruce arians. That's what they put together a a situation where it's like all right you you beat are as last time but that's not happening if you beat our ass. It's not going to be that way you know you're the early. Money is definitely been coming in on tampa bay by up to. I think there's some forty three and a half the lines now down to three the saints or favored at home by three Obviously less of a crowd impact and typical four saints home playoff game And i don't call it in primetime. I don't know what you consider. A six forty kickoff but That's what they do on the sundays of this divisional round and even the championship. Round the stagger. I'm a three. Pm eastern six forty kick. So it's it's gonna be a great game I don't normally love watching divisional games in this round But i think it's going to be a ton of a ton of oh a very competitive game in both. These coaches are going to have to be on their games. And i i just got to say from an adjustment perspective and from a pure coaching perspective. Like i look i i love returns. No risk it no biscuit. I used to like the stuff that he was doing in pittsburgh and in arizona but I don't know. I think the guy who's going to be the superior masterclass here from a coaching perspective and adjustment perspective would have to be sean payton so It that the bucks are going to have to do some creative things here. to overcome the mismatch that has naturally existed when these teams face each other both times this season. No well sean. Payton great coach. Tom brady great quarterback. They also have fallen on their face many times in playoff situations. They don't get the same kind of beating than other teams do right. They lost a frigate crate case. Keenum they lose the they lost that beast mode game to a losing a seven and nine of Or eight whatever. It was seahawks team. I mean they. They've had some playoff losses You know here at the saint. So i mean it's not like he is the end all be all every time brees warren. I'm not so sure the ball. It looks like it's going thirty miles an hour when he throws it like you know. I mean it's just different like russell. Wilson threw one. I swear he hit decay mckenna face ten times this year. Throwing ninety eight mph fastballs at his ad. He hit him in the face again on sunday. And then you flip over. Do you watch a ball. Just look so slow from breeze. And i know he's been the hell and back with the eleven broken ribs and whatever else but I don't know brady looked a lot better to be at his age than brees did at his age. There's no doubt well it'll be interesting to see what we get from breeze because the game against the bears Definitely left some things to be discussed. I guess we'll discuss that at the last game of the show here..

"Morning was that Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers would be continuing forward together and this despite the fact. That Merrill said that he was looking forward to coaching Cam. Newton in twenty twenty and You know that that makes the new coach the Carolina Panthers What's the word I'm looking for? Oh that's right a liar. I are while I mean. Caroline is a liar in Carolina. Care we go care Myers yeah I cavaliers cavaliers has liars installed like the French way in it anyway. Cam Newton took Carolina Super Bowl Did Not get them across the finish line. I thought that he provided plenty of great moments Other than the fact that addresses a little funky for his press conferences. I don't know that Questioning his mental state is at all appropriate. I think that He has been the press conferences. He's answered questions in a professional manner. he's been really good with the community there and Carolina Did plenty in his. What is it about ten years with the Carolina? Panthers sets coming out of Auburn after twenty ten football season as he national champion mirrored by controversy at Auburn. I don't think that there was a lot of controversy other than the fact that maybe the expectations were higher than what Newton and company were able to achieve there but default on more than just the quarterback of that team it falls on Y'All's on the coaching staff falls on the GM You know that they had a controversial owner that was replaced and they're moving in a new direction with a new head coach and that new head coach is going to be a guy that gets to start with his own guy You know Teddy Bridgewater. The player that's signed with the Carolina. Panthers finally gets an opportunity to start after his career. Just kinda sidetracked by injury altogether. I hope we see Cam Newton in the NFL again. I can't really say where I can't even say if he's healthy enough to get the job done but personally jen. I hope that we have not seen the last of Cam Newton as a starting quarterback in this league. I don't think we have. I think that there are plenty of bad quarterbacks in this league even if he doesn't go somewhere with an automatic opportunity and I think that he would you know they were unable to trade him. Which surprises me that the bears would take a chance on nick. Foles rather than Cam Newton. But I think the Nick foles. There's not as many question marks the health and Cam Newton if he's banged up It could really be a detriment to his skill set as a quarterback and this is the disadvantage of being that mobile quarterback in this day and age. Was it ankle? What was his issue? Lower by hockey. We just say lower body. I think that it's been knee. It gets Ankle early really easily agitated by damp cold Chicago winters. That's a good point. A maybe the Miami Dolphins may maybe he goes and provides a bridge for the Miami Dolphins or whatever team plans to draft To a tug of law whether that that could be his former coach in Washington. It's just kinda surprising that his coach hasn't already acquired him play. You'll see how the draft plays out. And Maybe Cam Newton future gets dictated by what team draft tug of low? What team draft a quarterback that maybe it won't be ready Twenty Twenty That they've got there. I sat on Twenty Twenty one or even twenty twenty two. If you believe that Newton's got much in the tank New England still got avoid but New England doesn't have a lot of money. I mean they've already kind of ruled out the possibility of Andy Dalton going to the New England patriots. So that's another guy. Maybe he stays in Cincinnati and monitors or not monitors but mentors Joey borough The odds-on favorite be the number one overall pick to Cincinnati but of course sets of attias something of a wild card. I mentioned that the. Gm's WANNA push the draft back and this is a lot a lot of it's related to the Olympics. Yes you could just say all right. We have the draft on April twenty third. We could definitely have it on. May Fifteenth in separate rooms. But how prepared are the teams going to be for these? These really important job interviews. I think that they would rather push back and do a closer to the season. Trying to shoehorn it into April when they're not ready and the future of their teams to the future of their teams detriment by not being able to hold a draft with your with without being able to do their due diligence On this date back in two thousand one what happened with between the Arizona diamondbacks and the San Diego padres spray. We don't usually throw the ball back the clock for spring training. This is a fairly significant event. It was a bird versus the unit and the bird loss. The bird loss affirmative fortunately lost Just so as a pigeon just shattered by Randy Johnson sad video because you see the fluff of feathers kind of in one chunk but then on the other side you see the bird kind of flap to. Its Final. Mapping spot on left the bird did not make me now. It was like a ninety eight MPH fastball. Or something ridiculous. Like no that burden not stand a chance. I mean it was like watching clay-shooting on duck on if we're GONNA throw back video fun dog to retrieve it and bark there could event there could have been. It was before the days of where you're allowed to bring your dog with you everywhere. Tree Bark in the park birthdays bark in the park. This as What else we gotta go on. The chargers released their new logo and I think the only thing that we could really say about it as at least it didn't suck like the rams as bad as the rams one did so. I remember when the brownies got more orange it was the oranges or injure for San Diego. It's the blue is Paler. Blue is failure. Oh and they go back to the Randy. Johnson thing I had saw. Something was that at-bat Tyler Murray's dad you gotta fill me in on the batter. That Randy Johnson was yes yes he was pitching saw that kind of circulating online and I never checked it was it was a family. Member might have been awful. That sounds more right. Yeah but Yes yes. I completely forgot about Texas. He comes up about once a year and on the twenty fourth of March for the march. And then and then we're past it We know the NC Double A.'s ridiculous. Did you hear about this Clemson's starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his girlfriend tried to put together a go fund me to raise funds in some matter to assist the community with Cova nineteen and Clemson's compliance department immediately. Shut down saying that it was probably a violation of NCWA RULES. That just tells me that the NCWA rules are stupid. I don't believe anyone will disagree with that statement and I also do not think many people will say this isn't the first time that NCWA rules have been stupid. Okay just to be clear on this was going around a little bit of a misnomer with the Internet That the NC Double A. Came down on Lawrence for having this up. This was Simpson's compliance department. The most likely be able to get a waiver from the NC Double A. and resume raising funds for a third party that this was them using their name to benefit not themselves but the greater good and if the NC double A. Rules are that stringent we need to get rid of those particular NCWA rules Four goes on the shelf. You're on the told me about that. Tommy John Surgery knows a little bit of a moral conversation taking place that if elective surgeries are suspended these guys not be able to repair alarms during a public health crisis. I don't think that that's I think that readiness for your ways to you know to make your livelihood. I think that this is completely fair. I think I don't think the Tommy John Surgery are all getting a nose job or something like that. I think that it is to prepare you to be able to work your craft. Someone else's out season two on Chris. Sale knows syndergaard. And this is Kinda. Ideally you know if you're gonNA miss the season this would be the one to mess Some other NFL news. Devin funchess Cam Newton not the not the only one out in Carolina. Dumb funchess expected to sign with Green Bay. Philip Dorset who Was drafted by New England traded to Indianapolis And our pardon me drafted by Indianapolis traded to New England in the Jacoby percent deal He is said to sign with Seattle and give of Russell Wilson another weapon up there in the Pacific Northwest Seventy sixers they tried the idea. It was Kinda like National Lampoon's Christmas vacation of paying their employees last so that they could pay everybody through this You know through this corona virus thing of course when you have billions of dollars you can't skimp on thousands of dollars and there was all kinds of backlash so they backtracked their idea of not paying. Everybody three jealous talking about cutting staff to like. I'm sorry you have people paying two hundred dollars for Jersey. You have money to pay people see and I've lived this. You know my buddy drives drove the Zamboni four the Phoenix. They were the Phoenix coyotes. Back in two thousand four when there was lockout they got rid of their their ice guy and You know I'm sure you could train somebody but ethically it just doesn't sit right most of the teams. I think that all of Major League baseball actually pledged a million dollars per team to make sure that stadium staff gets paid at least a portion of what they were going to miss in lost wages so The efforts are being made the athletes. I think are kind of the owners with their own. you know fifty thousand one hundred thousand dollar donations. A lot of them are putting it out there. Hey I'm going to start this This fund with fifty thousand dollars. I'll match anything that you guys put in. I think that these are all great gestures and it's a good sign of community helping out During a difficult time as a saying how companies organizations take note. America's watching how you treat your employees how you handle this and they're certainly going to remember when this is over now if we could only remember how much Bickering goes on in Washington. Dc trying to figure out how to take care of the people while all of this is going on and not trying to rush everybody out Cut a public health crisis short and try to take shortcuts. And things like that if you could only remember. Those people are in November. When you're casting your ballots either. That is very important. I don't care which way you vote just Remember and try to vote based on the way you are treated. She's Jen. I'm Jeff. This is foul territory. We've.

"McCarthy on seven ten w o r. More met perspective coming up temperate athletic in these seven o'clock hour, but I always love talking to Kevin Garnett. He'll tell you. He does look at things a little bit differently. It's been around the game for a long time. And he's not someone that's looking at the stats in trying to determine what's a good move. Or not based on that. He's always been a tremendous reporter talking to who he needs to talk to find out what's going on. And you know, really have much more of an old school kind of perspective on things and Kevin obviously feels comfortable with Robertson Cano for that first year. And then you don't know after you really don't and the thing is you get into your upper thirties. You fall off that cliff performance wise any year, you never know when that last productive year is going to be sometimes it's an injury. Maybe that you're by just isn't able to recover the same way. For some guys. It's the vision and think about how perfect your vision has to be in order to be able to turn around ninety eight mph fastballs on the regular you've any change in your vision. That makes a huge difference in it's one of the separated factors for a lot of players when they get older. And I it's just the demands of the schedule as well. You bite us bounce back the same way and you play day after day after day after day and those things build up and when you're twenty three those things build up, but when you start getting a thirty six thirty seven thirty eight. You're not able to do it. And the Mets plan is not to have Robbie can play the is schedule that he has in the past where he's played every day for the Seattle. Mariners for the New York Yankees before that look back is a D H two whole lot last year at the very least D H like eight sat of the eighty plus that he played so wasn't a huge number of times is designated hitter. Versus playing second base who's mostly playing second base every single day and was able to handle the workload for the most part last year, though. Of course, you had the eighty game suspension in the in the middle of all of that. And then Edwin d as it means a lot closer that can lock things down the Mets. They blew a lot of games in may because of the bullpen in June. They couldn't score and that was a miserable miserable month. But they're swoon started long before June. And in may the run-scoring hadn't become a huge issue. Hugh yet. But the bullpen was blowing leads left, and right and theory that Kevin Kernan put out maybe the players said Brodie van wagon. Hey, this is what we need we need a closer. And that does make some sense based on what went down in that pen last year this team needs a lot of help in the pen, and one of the things they need more than one great piece is a bunch of good ones. Too in front of him to get through those seventh and eighth innings. If you could push Robert, you Salman to being you know, your third or fourth best reliever. Now, you have a bullpen that can really go out and win some games for ya where at least not below them. And at a time when starting pitchers throwing less than ever in the Mets are kind of bucket in the opposite direction with that. With Mickey Callaway wanting to push these guys more and more, but you have to have some arms, you could depend on in that Ben and Edwin d as I certainly proved to be that over the last couple of years in Seattle. Let's take.

"That Machado struck out on was like way it was a breaking ball way out of his own horrible looking chase if you just look at it as a screen shot. But previous to that, the first two pitches the about where like perfect low away. I think it was like ninety eight, mph fastballs or something just absolutely perfect, vast balls. And then when v Scana through that, that two straight breaking ball that was probably like two feet out of his own. It's it's a testament to how good stuff is in how similar pitches look because Machado's chased wing is something that looks unforgivable. But then if you put yourself in his place, you've got what two tenths of a second try to figure out if you're seeing a fastball or a breaking ball v. Scion ahead already set Machado up to look at a low away fastball. That was perfect into ninety eight miles per hour. So I don't know. It was really good pitching right after it was really tense, bad, ineffective pitching. So I know how he's able to flip the switch between the three, oh, pitch, and then the next one, but really, really fun inning really fun game. I'm glad it wasn't on another sweep. Even though it would have meant that there was no baseball, Wednesday, which I wouldn't have minded, but that's fine. That's history, professional complaints, but three hours thirty, six minutes. But it ended is a a really fun game. There haven't been to me out of there have been a lot of like particularly fun playoff. Games yet, and this is this is maybe the one that I'm going to remember for for a while. This kind of made it feel more like it's the playoffs now. Yeah, agree. And now the Braves, we'll have to face dick mountain to survive. And I guess I wanted to say about Kershaw because he looked so good on Friday. I mean he went eight innings. He allowed two hits no walks. He threw eighty five pitches. So obviously extremely efficient and sixty. Three of them were strikes, which is a really great ratio. He only had three strikeouts of course. And so people were saying, what? Why? How did you only have three strikeouts was this actually a good game? If you only have three strikeouts in eight innings and obviously over the course of a full season, it would be difficult to be good with that sort of ratio in today's game. But I don't know. I mean, he seemed like he was just inducing week and freak. Queant contact from the hitters here who as mentioned were aggressive and were chasing, and he was just moving pitches around and changing speeds and all the things that you say about pitchers when they are not flame throwers, which Kershaw is not anymore. And so he is completely adjusted how he is pitched. You know, I even when I wrote about him early the season, he had started throwing fewer fastballs fewer four seamers because he just doesn't throw his fastball as hard anymore. And he really went all in on that fastball averse approach down the stretch with some success. He just throws a ton of ciders. Now in that start, he threw thirty two, four seamers according to Brooks baseball and thirty eight slider. So he now throws, he's like almost Tanaka esque in his four seamer avoidance and he threw fourteen curves. So he's probably just not going to get. As many strikeouts. He didn't get as many strikeouts this season because he doesn't have that blistering fastball anymore. He's throwing a lot of the same pitches a lot of the time, but he seems to be successful with this approach anyway. Hopefully he's entered a period of his career here where he can sustain the success for awhile even without the blassie just by, you know, as the cliche goes being a pitcher, not thrower. I mean, he was always a pitcher Enda thrower I think, which is why he's like the best. But even if he has just one of those abilities now is still pretty good. And you know he's got a strike out more than three betters every eight innings he pitches. I think if he wants to continue to be a great pitcher, but in this game, it just looked like more of an example of the Braves beating themselves or being beaten by Kershaw in a way other than just strictly missing bets. Right. If. If you look at Gershon during the year, just as a fun little demonstration on the first pitch of any given plate appearance, he threw his fastball about two thirds of the time and against the Braves..

"How the league i mean it seems like that the play on the field was pretty darn good i saw a footnote somewhere that there were there was a period of time a couple of weeks they were actually seven triple plays yeah like there was some really good play but and they did well at the gate as well i think right yeah i mean by all accounts they out drew the national league in attendance by perhaps a margin of two to one it was funny as i and maybe only time in baseball history every day in the newspapers or every week in the newspapers they had next to the standings of the players league or the nationally they had the the attendance standings in order to which league in which teams were we're getting the most most fans and people were paying attention to that as much as they were the wins and losses and by all accounts the players league drew so many more fans than nationally because the national league lose dealing with a bunch of unknown players by large they had to recruit players from the lesser what we would call today the minor league teams to find just to to fill out a roster sometimes so the the players lee had a better product on the field they had newer ballparks which by all accounts were also more comfortable better looking more stylish in certainly newer and and the play yeah it was great they they had a lots of exciting games there were great defensive plays which was i think a bigger deal then than it is now now you know were impressed by home runs and maybe you know ninety eight mph fastballs then defense was was really celebrated and that was part of wards popularity is that he was a terrific shortstop as well as well he was a pitcher initially and then turned into shortstop.

"Yeah both these guys are gonna see suspension i'm guessing in the range of four games because they were bowl throwing punches as they were going at it and as they were going at it here come's gary sanchez throwing punches and miguel cabrera when he's on the ground then throwing punches it nick cast a janos when he's on the ground and it was interesting to see the reaction on twitter yesterday and hanbo since rolled school i'm going to put this to you okay there were a number of players former players who were saying on twitter how can you throw cheap shots like that everybody's going to remember and i'm laughing because according to the old school gary sanchez came into that fight yesterday in because he was throwing punches it defenseless people that's out of bounds but it's okay courting dole school to throw ninety eight mph fastballs in the middle of a back in retaliation situation to a hitter that's okay that's doing it the right way will all of these things are very nebulous in subjective workers inches did yesterday in my opinion was inexcusable and it's especially for a player who's as hot as he is i mean he just needs to know better right now he's hitting his wills anybody aisamul is is on an historic strictest orders career in terms of home runs per games played this is the last thing that he needs to do i mean if gears inches at the sit down for a because of the acting like an idiot and allowing his motions get the better of him who notes of uphill pick a backup right now he's the being he's bested or by a mile if if i was joe girardi this morning he probably the be the play that i would be most upset about if i have the event to send eluki to get us by a suspension order my manama bench guys comes in the way that some guys doing hockey as an enforcer at one thing this is my best player at known i would be irate that he was willing to stick to this level.

"The boil reduced to a similar show walter had a moment of indecision i stood there he says thinking i guess some supposed to be mad as machado has matured baseball too has shifted slowly yes but undoubtedly in favor of those like machado who would rather celebrate than grumble both changes came into sharp display on april 21st when machado slid high and late into red sox second baseman dustin pedroia who had to leave the game and miss three more with a knee injury machado endured one of the lengthier and most unpredictable hunts for justice in recent memory a twoweek to city mid atlantic display of vigilantism so convoluted the combatants themselves might have forgotten its origins after chris sale in game five of the ordeal became the second red sox pitcher to barely miss machado's knees with a ninety eight mph fastball the fifth ball of ninety plus mph that machado had dodged since the slide show walter called machado into the runway that connects the orioles dugout to the clubhouse i'm thinking of taking you out of the game show walter said the umpires won't protect you the other team isn't concerned about your safety convince me to keep you in the game because if you can't i'm taking you out make me believe you i got it machado said that's not good enough manny if you get suspended it hurts our club if you given they win no really machado said i got it i'm cool.

"Baseball from your pretty much best in the line of the numberthree hitter in the lineup so yes it's going to be harder loss for the washington nationals wants this is imposed but again think major league baseball looked at the act of growing the helmet added a couple more days for harper because when you get ninety eight mph projectile thrown at you and you have no idea why it's being thrown from something that happened three years ago yes you're going to get you're going to see red and that's exactly where price harper good yeah i i do think it was actually in the beginning threegame through price harbor and they said you through got helmet so poor whatever another game worse cover goes i i've i've ever seen but isn't that on vetted mortar if he's right if they added a couple of games for the throwing of the helmet throwing of the helmet let forget the ninety eight mile an hour baseball the came humming at your hip knee you're going to get bail for throwing the helmet which even if the helmet hip strickland was going to do a thing to him so i agree with that so if you're that where is that the punishment for getting even really punishing pitcher to try and get this out of the game because clearly were were barking up the wrong tree they don't want to get it out of the game but then at least make the the penalties equal that that's where i will go next okay okay we we're we're not going to get this out of the game but let's make it so it's equal three to four innings for a reliever as opposed to the board of the best players in the game for thirty six innings is not is not equity even though six games the four games at its nowhere near close to that i think that one or the other things that should not be missed in this is the player's gonna miss the most time as a result of this incident is not hunters strickland and it's not price harper it is the reason they have to get this out of the sport any of you who have seen the highlight you've seen the replay now million times of all those players rushing onto the field and you see one guy come flying in and just take somebody out completely.

"With ninety eight mph he so i could see harpool was passed i could even see where posy was passed because he knows that when the nats do decide to retaliate and they will maybe even tonight that poses the one who is going to get died so he's catching some heat record not having his guys back or for being a bad teammate went to me it's on strickland i mean if anybody was acting like a bad teammate it strickland he's the one that put his teammates at risk and again for what because he couldn't get this guy out three years ago exactly what part of the code is that yeah i know we know play the game surely not that level we just don't get it who are we and by we i mean me you and everybody else who are we to jump in in trying to several with echoed is you help me out then able to play the game level help me out because i don't understand that part of the code word guy doesn't get a guy out three years ago in a series that they won in a year they they went on to win the whole thing and he's looking to retaliate now for who for what all right so he he stared too long at the home run what you mean that second one where he didn't know whether or not the boss fair or not you want him running down the first baseline it might be even worse look to style at running down the line on a foul ball so the guys stay the box little longer even if you think that he styled it a little bit too long a ninety eight mile an hour heater is not just 'cause that's not justification for that that punishment does not fit that alleged crime and again this whole thing about the code your guys can't style home runs because they can style anything they want in any other sport and people like it but not a baseball so i i don't have a huge problem in fact promet all posy i guarantee pose was thinking himself amen you're on your own really really now they're gonna hit me thanks.
