Tesla Is Already Shipping Cars Without Radar Sensors
"Everybody robin our here today. We're gonna be talking about tesla. Moving to their tesla vision. Approach for tommy tesla's announced that they're going to be moving radar hardware from vehicles. Like we had speculated about on mondays episodes. Made this official will talk about the details there. Then we've also got some news on giga berlin and an interesting update on power while production other strong day for tesla stock today finishing up two point four percent to six hundred and nineteen dollars. Thirteen cents that compared to the nasdaq also up on the day. Zero point six percent so following the removal of any mention of radar on tussles website. Earlier this week dell has now explained where they're at in terms of removing the radar hardware via a tesla support page update. The update here is called transitioning to tesla vision tesla rates quote we are continuing the transition to tesla vision or camera based autopilot system beginning with deliveries and may twenty twenty one model three and model y vehicles built for the north. American market will no longer be equipped with radar instead. These will be the first tesla vehicles to rely on camera vision and neural processing to deliver autopilot full. Self-driving and certain active safety features customers ordered before may twenty twenty one and are match with the car with tesla. Vision will be notified of the change through their accounts prior to delivery and quote. Tesla also notes here that for a short period of time while they're transitioning cars without radars may have some limits on auto steer they say maximum speed of seventy five miles per hour. That's versus ninety miles per hour. Normally and the minimum following distance will be longer. They also say that smart summoned an emergency lane departure avoidance may be disabled at delivered so just important understand that that is a temporary measure not all reports on this covered that detail tesla says in the weeks ahead they'll start restoring those features and yeah we've seen time landslip on efi related stuff in the past but fortunately these are pretty minor limitations and they seem to be more precautionary in terms of safety. Maybe with the exception thereof smart summit
The Differences Between Barbie Dolls and OMG Dolls
"The barbie dolls own deals are fashion dolls and they both have fake hair. It's not actually real hair. But it's attached to their head and there are different series of each of them and they're both made by different companies. Like for example on deals are made by. Mga and barbie dolls are will manufactured by mattel but actually made by roof handler and they were both inspired by something except bar of barbie dolls inspired by another type doll. I don't bill lit. I don't know how to pronounce it. But that's what it seems to be called and o'neill's on the inter- hinder kind of inspired awhile but l. Laws are like the little sisters of detail so they weren't exactly inspired but yet okay. Now where can you find. Bari allies work. Can you buy barbie dolls. Well barbie dolls are in a lot of stores like targets walmart and well. How much is a barbie doll. Actually well a barbie doll can be about up to twenty even about like if you're twenty nine nineteen dollars
Samsung Hosting Galaxy Unpacked Event on April 28
"Samsung announced its next galaxy unpacked event for april twenty eighth at ten am eastern time. The event announcement promises. The most powerful galaxy is coming so conventional wisdom is that it's not a phone announcement and the image look slightly like a laptop new galaxy books. Perhaps maybe back. In march we talked about microsoft releasing patches for four newly discovered microsoft exchange vulnerabilities that were being actively exploited by an advanced persistent threat. Group believed to be half neom. The attackers were exploiting the vulnerabilities to install. Web shells web shells give them access to targeted networks. The patches closed the vulnerability but of course wouldn't remove the web shell once it was installed so tuesday. The us department of justice announced it received approval from a court in houston to copy and remove web shells from hundreds of microsoft exchange email servers. Now they didn't get all of them out there but they got a bunch of the fbi conducted the removal by accessing the web. Shell and issuing a command to the servers to remove it. The method only removed web shells. That did not remove any other malware. That might have been installed through the use of the shell. It's something amazon announced. Second generation echo buds. Which are twenty percent smaller than the originals. I four rated an offer twice as much noise. Cancellation as the originals. Although they no longer use bose's active noise cancelling technology. The new wireless headset ships may thirteenth for one hundred nineteen dollars. Ninety nine cents with a usb charging case or one hundred thirty. Nine ninety nine with a wireless charging case. Tcl announced the six point. Six seven inch twenty pro five g android phone which features it's in display. Fingerprint reader is coming to italy portugal and the uk for five hundred forty nine euros and eventually to the united states though. They didn't give pricing a date for that yet. Budget versions the twenty l. and twenty l. plus also coming to those countries without five g or wireless charging that's why the budget and tcl announced its combined. Foldable and rollable phone tablet concept. That seeing that talked about back in march is called the fold roll like with a little end with an apostrophe mark. The folded roles still no plans for release on that yet just concept
Tesla Stock Upgraded After 'Paradigm Changer' Delivery Numbers
"Our here and they were talking about an upgrade stock from canaccord genuity. We have new tweets from yuan over the weekend. A tokenism of tesla's stock some news on tesla energy and a couple other stories as well. That's the stock on the day to day. Finishing up three point six nine percent to seven hundred and one dollars ninety eight cents compared to the nasdaq slightly down on the day down. Four tenths of a percent possible tailwind on the stock today from an upgrade from jet door shy of canaccord genuity on tesla stock now reading the stock as a by up from hold an increasing his press target by more than one hundred and fifty percent from four hundred nineteen dollars per share all the way up two thousand and seventy one dollars cameras on cnbc today to discuss the notes that oil down to three things number one. The beat and delivery numbers thinks that will lead to greater profitability. Second are bullish on forty six eighty battery production opening up supply for tesla to continue to expand their business both in automotive but particularly in energy storage third tussles brand door shurmur saying quote we can only compared to apple in terms of the brand value tussles driving any energy market and quote in the actual note canaccord genuity says they see tesla becoming the brand and energy storage and creating an apple inc ecosystem with their multiple product offerings so that you actually have tesla energy and their model. They have a growing to what they say. Conservatively would be a billion dollars per year. Twenty twenty five. At five percent gross margin that would compare to twenty twenty levels of two billion dollars in revenue at about a one percent gross margin but gross margin was suppressed from twenty nineteen levels due to solar primarily solar roof which actually talk about a little bit later on so out actually expect more revenue. That's only doubling from the two-billion-dollar level here to four four to eight. I definitely don't expect that to say tusla for years. Once forty six eighty battery supply comes online. Tesla and four and using those numbers was already at a three billion dollars per year run rate for energy but it is really nice to see start to include and talk about tesla energy and their models
Continuing to Navigate the Neurodegenerative Disease Subsector
"The first thing. I want to mention of course is what we're really dealing with here when we're looking at specifically companies in the next generation space. Now i'm going to belabor the slight even less than i did last time basically for good phase three data. I feel it'd be good. Expect a company trade between at a minimum really of ten to twenty billion dollars market cap and for companies. That are kind of earlier in the pipeline. I would say they've shown some good phase one b or some good early phase two a data. We can expect them to trade around at one billion dollar market cap and that seems to be the case so far and there's obviously tons of information that we can use to say whether or not they should be trading at a higher value or a lower value than that. But that's generally what i'm going into this with and using the data that's available out there. You can really make your own assessment. What you think is a fair value for some of these companies but anyway just to show this slide quickly because we need to know what we're dealing with here so keep all that in mind as we look at the market cap of these different companies. Today and the first company. I want to touch on. Is a company called aspira. Fire ticker symbol. Ha they closed on friday. The fifth at nineteen dollars and eighteen cents a share giving them a market cap of seven hundred million dollars they're q. Three twenty twenty net loss was eight point five million dollars and they had a q. Three twenty twenty current assets of two hundred thirty two million dollars and then they also didn't offering in february of this year adding another hundred three million dollars to their balance sheet their q. Three twenty twenty current liabilities. Sit an eight million dollars and to give some background of the company they went. Ipo in september of two thousand twenty at seventeen dollars per share so they're not trading it too much of a premium for matt but for anybody looking to take a position in the short term. I do want to remind you that. The lockup occurs on march seventeenth and an additional twelve million shares. That were previously locked up from the ipo are now going to be added to the flow. Which is at twenty three point. Seven million dollars today. so companies. That had this lockup expiration. I caution against taking a long position in only because the dilution. That's going to occur after the lockup is going to put some pressure on the stock price so keep that in mind but the company is looking at commercializing an asset that targets the hypothesis that growth factor pathway also known as the met receptor. And they're doing this to try and treat different. Cns disorders so there specifically using compound called a t h one zero seven and this was previously known as andy x one. Zero one. seven if you're looking in the literature and they're trying to treat alzheimer's and parkinson's disease but this and then they also a small molecule version of this where they're going to be looking at neuropsychiatric disorders like depression. And there's some benefits to using a small molecule version verses the other version using a t h zero one seven. But i'm not going to focus on that. I'm really just kinda talk about the molecule. That's going to be treated for alzheimer's and parkinson's disease and before we do that though i did want focus a little bit on event related potential and a touchdown this on a couple other episodes but i wanted to go a little bit more in depth because the main readout that a fire is focusing on is this p three hundred data point and so what event related potential is a quick primer. It's a q. Eeg measurement but it's a functional version of that so a lot of companies will show a q. e. e. g. measurement of just baseline brain activity. And what this does is it. Just measures brain electrical activity and q. E. e. g. sanford quantitative electro So the baseline measurement is useful. I guess but what's more impactful is actually do a sensory event which is a better surrogate for actual cognitive ability.
Did Bill Gates Seriously Short TSLA Stock
"Robbed our here and today we're going to be talking about bill gates response to on musk's claims the oregon podcast a couple of weeks. Back that get heard. That bill gates had been shorting stock. We've also got some news on the broader electric vehicle automotive market an interesting response from yvonne on an article from the washington post. And of course. We've gotta talk about tesla stock. It's about wild couple of days. We had the interview yesterday with alex rotter so we didn't get a chance to talk about it. But of course yesterday. Tuesday february twenty. Third tesla dropped to a low of six hundred nineteen dollars per share. That was down more than thirteen percent from the prior. Close then of course. We saw us swift recovery in the market. And from tesla tesla finishing down just two percent yesterday on the biggest volume day that we've seen in over a month and a half with sixty six million shares trading hands yesterday. So i talked about on monday and we briefly talked about yesterday in the interview as well. A lot of this is tied to expectation on interest rates. So yesterday fed chairman. Jerome powell made comments to congress. Indicating the current monetary policy is expected to continue for some time as economic uncertainty remains so not to get too deep into that. We've talked about that. Of course in the past but as far as tussles yesterday certainly was not isolated to tesla. Those sort of concerns were broadly extended to high growth. Stocks tussle obviously falls in that category. And i think the volatility there serves as a nice quarterly reminder that you have to be very very careful with stop losses on a volatile stock like tussle as for today tesla continue to rebound finishing up six point two percent to seven hundred and forty dollars two cents. That compared to the nasdaq up one percent. All right so i up today. I want to continue a conversation that we began a couple of weeks back after yvonne. Musk went on joe. Rogan's podcast for the third time and said that he had heard from people he believes would know that bill gates had shorted tesla. Yvonne brought that up in response to a question from joe rogan on the tesla semi citing that bill gates in a blog. Post a few months back had said that eighteen wheel electric semi is probably would never work so allen's claim here understand. We drawing a lot of attention not the first time something like this has happened between musk and gates last year. He did by his first electric vehicle. The porsche ticon. Which at the time. Maybe it wasn't so clear why he didn't by ordering vehicle up until that point. Well now we might have a better answer for that. But he talked about the decision in an interview with marquez brownlee and it seemed to be a relatively tepid endorsement of electric vehicles gatesville right up ranging anxiety as a problem and elon. Musk responded to that interview. Not necessarily gives purchase of tycoon but those comments in general by saying that quote my conversations with gates have been underwhelming to be honest and so that catches us up to today and then we have launched claiming that he heard gates which tesla now in the last week. We've had both cnbc and bloomberg asked gates directly about that claim. I think gates tone is important these responses so i will play the actual clip. The i wanna hear from andrew. Ross sorkin cnbc asking gates so so you're not sure tesla's stock were clear. Yeah i'm not. I don't talk about my investment. But i think he should be very proud of what he's done. Okay so technically there. He did say yeah. I'm not but it sounded like he was more starting a sentence of saying yeah. I'm not going to talk about my investments not yet. I'm not sure tesla because he interrupts himself and says i don't want to talk about my investments so to me. That's a no comment. Rather than a denial. What's interesting here is his reason saying he doesn't wanna talk about his investments but in the exact same interview. He talks about his investments multiple times. He says quote when i invested in impossible foods or beyond me or quantum scape. I was doing that just to help their own climate. Now it looks like those three will be very successful companies. And so i'll have more money to put into the tough areas a climate like cement and steel and quote. Okay so he says he doesn't want to talk about his investments but then he in response to another question talks about his investments in impossible foods beyond me quantum scape and then how does investments are doing and that i'll have more money to then go on an invest in other stuff. I mean how much more could you talk about your investments. And he uses the first person tense. You're saying i invested. He's asked about bitcoin and he says quote. I don't own bitcoin. I'm not short bitcoin. So i've taken a neutral view and quote so for bitcoin. Perfectly fine to say i'm not short bitcoin. Same question for tesla. oh. I don't want to talk about my investments that we just spent a bunch of time talking about. If you're not going to answer the question at least come up with a better non answer. That doesn't immediately contradict yourself. He has to have known that he'll be asked about that and yet seems completely content guard answer so that was last week if there was any doubt left after that because he did start off. By saying yeah. I'm not before interrupting himself as we said. Here's gates on bloomberg yesterday so we had five days to think about this answering the same question from emily. Chang yuan has in the past claimed you shorted tesla and i wonder if there's any truth to that Well you know i think. Test us on amazed seen company I wish you know own. Been more on the long side. But i it's it's great And you know i have. Lots of relatives won't tassels Helped by for them. So you know nothing. But positive thoughts about tesla role. Okay so if the answer to the cnbc question was a bit of a flood. There was a clear opportunity to just say. Hey i'm not sure. Tesla was jor tesla and again gates passes and he sure doesn't look comfortable to me answering the question. Belief is that it looks pretty clear. That bill gates was short. Tesla who knows if he's still is it'd be surprised but come on. How are you going to be all about climate change and then short the one company that's doing more than any other company on earth to combat it. If you don't think it's a good investment you think it's overvalued you can just not invest in it. No one has any problem with that but too short it push the stock price down. Make it more difficult for tesla to raise capital. That's something else entirely.
Spotify's New HiFi Subscription Tier. What Is It?
"As i'm recording this spotify just wrapped up its spotify stream on event in which it announced a bunch of stuff including new tools for creators. Monetize ing options even an ad marketplace for podcasts. Which might be too in the weeds for our purposes. Although i reserve the right to reassess that later what is probably more interesting for normal. Consumers for at the moment is the fact. That spotify is launching a new subscription product. Later this year called hi fi that will offer cd quality lossless audio. Quoting the verge. Spotify has done small tests of higher quality streaming in the past. But now it's going to launch the feature more widely with the caveat that it'll be available only in select markets and pricing is yet to be announced higher quality streaming has apparently been among the top requests from its customers as it stands today spotify tops out at three hundred and twenty. Kbps audio amazon rolled out amazon music hd in two thousand nineteen. The lossless plan costs. Fourteen dollars ninety nine cents per month or twelve dollars. Ninety nine cents per month for prime customers a premium over the standard amazon music unlimited service title. Which has supported high resolution audio since its very beginnings price slightly higher at nineteen dollars ninety nine cents per month for the hi fi plan title offers. What it calls title masters that go up too. High resolution ninety six kilohertz twenty four bit audio smaller services like cuba's have also sought to appeal to audio files with lossless streaming apple music on the other hand still lacks any kind of lossless streaming tier despite apple selling the very high end airpods max headphones and quote which you have to figure might be about to become an untenable situation.
GameStop Stock Soars as Reddit Investors Take On Wall Street Bets
"Stop the video game retailer. Stock has rallied over six hundred eighty percent this month and in the last couple of days the stocks volatility has pretty much everyone talking. So what's going on. First of all game stop is for the average mall going consumer dying brand a relic of simpler times when we used to have to physically go to the store and wait in line for the newest call of duty or for the latest harry potter book. So it's no surprise. That game stop has been a target for wall street shortsellers its demise has been foregone conclusion. So short and game stop. That is betting that game stop would continue to. Depreciate could have been a good bet except short-selling is risky and your losses if you lose that bad or basically limitless since there's no cap on how valuable the company has bet against could become so even riskier if stock you've shorted starts going up. You can essentially cut your losses without getting too in the weeds market mechanics here. When a lot of short seller's designed to cut their losses on a shorted stock. That's now suddenly going up it triggers. What's called a short squeeze. Demand goes up. Supply goes down. Price goes up more shortsellers. Try to cut their losses. It's a vicious cycle and one that can result in massive losses for their shortsellers and giant prophets for those who've invested in the stock on the way up which is when a popular reddit. Forum called wall street bets figured out that game stop was the most shorted stock in the us markets. It wasn't hard to convince reddit users in the forum to buy up enough stock in game. Stop to trigger that short squeeze making retail investors of bundle and sticking it to the wall street big guys in the process. This was all encouraged in many ways by high profile investors with a hefty social media presence. Jamaa only petia tweeted that he'd bet on the stock increasing himself cameron winkle voss of the winkle vi- suggested he might go along on the stock and must only tweeted that he was aware of the situation just aware of the situation in game. Stop took off again. In after hours. Trading and to wall street bets credit. The plan worked amid game. Stops rally shortsellers on wall. Street have accumulated over five billion dollars in losses year to date and that includes nine hundred million loss on monday and one point six billion lost on friday. As you're about to hear hedge fund. Melvin capital took an enormous loss on the bet so much so that rumors of bankruptcy were swirling on that wall street. Bet sub reddit. But the founder of melvin told our own andrew ross sorkin. The rumors aren't true. Here's andrew now some breaking news this morning on this game stop story. We've been reporting all morning. Having talked to gay. Plock into runs. Melvin capital gay. Plotkin saying that. Melvin capital has been out closed out its position in the stock force. That company was Firm i should say with short looks like lost a ton of money but short that company up through Before the end of the close yesterday but Gabe saying that They got out yesterday afternoon. Of course the question is what happens now. Game stop a game. Stop shares Melvin capital had to take in an additional close to three billion dollars in new capital citadel. Coming to the rescue along with point seventy two. This is a remarkable saga With game stop so many of these investors no really no longer really investing on the fundamentals of what's happening against up but more just continue to push up the stock and we've seen so many folks like you on musk. Go take to twitter about it. Chihua- polly fanning the flames. So there's a lot of fan fan. Flame fanning taking place right now big questions about regulators where they are what they should be doing a lot of criticism and critique online as saying that if you think manipulation what do you think wall street is doing everyday to us the retail investors so. There's a sort of a pop psychology dynamic at play. And i think we're all we're all learning and try and understand what it means but also what it means in the future for the ability of retail investors to get together on places like read it and other places Form an army of sorts and try to push up The stocks in in certain cases like this. So i'm at a loss for words. Joe i really am where are the regulators and is this just the beginning situation. We all do have a lot to say on this but you you obviously have a lot to san. That's interesting but obviously the plane with the calls. And you're you're seeing calls that are one hundred dollars out of the money going for nineteen dollars and things that you've got markups going from two billion to twenty five billion. Obviously everything you're saying we understand. This is this is a game obviously and these guys. When i put five dollars on a ncaa game that. I don't care that much about that's the same as jemaah putting a couple of hundred grand on some calls or lan or any of the guys were talking about this. I think it's kind of responsible. The kind of laughing about it laughing all the way to the bank. But you know there are market makers that have to take. How'd you like to be short some of these calls. Can you imagine being short some of these calls. Especially if you're not covering i mean you can lose. You can lose ten times your money. Unlike a regular investment where only lose one hundred percent. I mean this this this makes this makes bitcoin look like t-bills if you think there's speculation and crypto when you when you look at something like and now they're looking for the next mark right they'll find another game stop once they're done with game stop but in the meantime there's gonna be blood all over understand why i understand why elon musk is doing it. He hates the shorts. They've you know he's right. Thinks it's a game where he's playing a game to understand he's playing the game too. I don't understand why tomatoes doing this. I don't understand why the winkle loss guys doing this. I mean this is i. It's nothing about me. Said too much money it and if you if you think people look unkindly at the wealthy at this point like wait till you see what happens with with the retail investor who gets sucked into thing and gets caught in the trap with who can't afford to lose the money like these guys are doing. I'll tell you the thing there. There really is a merry band of retail investors. Out there both already but increasingly and this is what i think even more concerning i spent a lotta time night reporting this out but also spending time on the in some of these rooms there are places people are going out into encrypted rooms onto telegram onto signal where they where they effectively are planning their next raid. Where they're trying to look to say. Okay where can we do. You know who can we take down next. In this case it was capital that they were seeking to take down. That's why i think the news today that they're out maybe potentially a turning point. I don't know. I don't. I don't know what turns this stock back into some kind of a normal

The Anti-Black-Friday Gift Guide for Photographers
"Over the next several days. You're going to hear the bef term many many times even after the actual day has passed. The truth of the matter is that you'll be able to get decent deals on just about anything you set your sights on. So let's focus on quality gear with lots of appeal. I hope you enjoy these gift ideas. So i've been working on this list for a while and this is stuff that i just lifted from catalog pages or other articles or things like this. I have worked with this gear with the exception of just one item. And i want to get that one item but everything else has been thoroughly tested in highly recommended and this is fun stuff. I have things that start at ten dollars here and go all the way up to three hundred and fifty dollars. I'm going to start out with the think. Tank photo lens case duel and both the fifteen and the thirty green yes. The green models are the ones that are on sale. You can get the fifteen for nineteen dollars a dollar savings and the thirty for twenty hours. That's also an eight dollar savings. I like the thirty because it holds some of my olympics lenses such as seventeen millimeter f one two and those quite. But i love these guys i really do. And it's funny. When i was looking at the ratings on them i think they were around three point. Five out of five something like that and i thought wow. That's kinda low for these things. So i i'm not sure what other people like or don't like about them. Here's what i like about these first of all. They're not oversize like some of the lens cases that i have there too big. They add to much dimension to my camera bag or backpack wherever they have the end. These don't do that. They protect the lenses but there are a nice size and they work really well. Now the idea is that you can open these things from the top and they open up like a know like a can or you can have the zipper down the side and open them up. That way i tend to work with them from the top. Only you know they're. They're really nice like that. They're made out of water resistant. Nylon so they keep moisture away they have these little stretchy front pockets. That are really cute and they can hold lens caps or memory cards. They work i. I have four of them and i wish i had more. This is the best price that i've seen on them. Now they have green and black. The black ones you have to pay full price for i like the greens. Because they're easy to find in my camera bag or my backpack. So that's the think tank photo lens dul either the fifteen or the thirty now as you may imagine. I have the links to all of these things. I'm gonna talk about here in the show notes so just come to the show. Stop shopping for all these goodies. You don't have to search for them. Find the deal all that kind of stuff at the digital story dot com okay. Let's go to the second one now. I reviewed this recently. So you may be familiar with it. The kingston data traveler dual for nine ninety. Nine nine dollars in ninety nine cents. I have it right here. In fact i use this thing all the time. I love it. It's a sixty four gigabytes. it's fast. It's a nice fast flash drive. It's very compact in the thing about it. As it has usb c on one end and usb a on the other end so no matter which device you happen to be using you just plug it in and it works and so you this carry one flash drive around you. Don't have to worry about adapters. Have to worry about docks. You don't have to worry about any of that stuff. It's ten dollars. Ordering online groceries has gotten easier
"I looked? At Amazon, fresh whole foods cart posts. Posts, mates, target and Walmart. Let me fill you in Amazon fresh the promises same-day delivery when you visit the website as long as you were prime member, which caused one hundred nineteen dollars a year, and you order a minimum amount, usually thirty five or forty dollars when I made by order on Tuesday, morning I was promised a delivery by one thirty, and then when I tried later on again they're all gone. Gone, but they had free delivery on Wednesday and Thursday that made me happy. Whole Foods, which is also owned by Amazon their promises free two hour delivery again with prime membership I ordered it five minutes to two, and they put a four ninety nine delivery attached to it to have the food derived by four or free. If I could wait till six, which of course I could fill out better than waiting a week. Week, which is what it took me when I was trying to do it locally from some of the markets around La target tacked ten dollar delivery fee onto a forty dollar order unless I paid him one hundred bucks for the shipped service, which is owned by target. Now they did agree to get the order over to me within two hours, which is great, but it didn't like that hundred dollars and furthermore folks. Target has a feature where they will meet you outside and put all the food into your trunk. The only problem is. If you order on your computer, you can't get that service. You have to do it on the APP, so order on the APP. Instant card instant is the biggest of all of them, and they do food delivery for a lot of local markets. But the results are different when I ordered from Ralph's, which is part of the Kroger chain? I was ordered a two hour window when I ordered from Vancouver, which is part of the Albertson's chain. There were many hours, so they said I could get it that evening. FONS wanted to charge me ten dollars. Ralph's did not so that's a little weird, and of course on top of those fees is a big tip. You WanNa. Give a tip for. For your instinct card shoppers, the person who is going up and down the aisles, getting your food for you and then driving into your house post mates is more active in online food delivery from restaurants, but they do the groceries as well and just this week. Uber said it wanted to buy post. Speights for two point six five billion dollars now when I when I tried ordering from on post, mates ordered a forty five to sixty minute delivery promise. In also a ten dollar fee finally, Walmart free delivery, no delivery charges, minimum purchase, but a two-day way. Okay But you know what two days is fine. as I said when I was trying this back in March and April I was looking at one week weights so two days one day. The bottom line is it's a lot better now than it was I. Still Way prefer the process of walk into the store and shopping I find shopping online for grocery items tough because I don't know what I want until I see it,

US Crude Oil Prices Go Negative As Demand Disappears
"Oil prices are in freefall lockdowns across the world have dealt a huge blow to demand the US benchmark for June delivery plunged forty three percent today down to eleven dollars and fifty seven cents a barrel. That's a twenty one year low and it comes just a day after some contracts fell below zero for the first time in History Brent crude the global benchmark followed suit Brench for June. Delivery dropped twenty four percent to nineteen dollars and thirty three cents a barrel joining me now to explain as Wall Street Journal Markets Reporter Amorth Ram Kumar. So amorth put this in context for us. What are the economic implications here? The energy sector crisis has massive implications for everyday Americans in the world economy just here in the US. The energy sector has become a huge industry. And it's very important geopolitically and it employs so many people so the prospect of bankruptcies and mergers and acquisitions for some of these beleaguered companies is really staggering. We're seeing the focus of even stock market investors kind of shift now from the corona virus temporarily at least to this existential threat facing a critical industry. People think that oil demand and fuelled demand will go back up once measures to stop the spread of the krona virus or with did but for now people can't consume fuel and that's really driving this chaos. People say it's really an oil crisis turned upside down. So many Americans remember previous oil price spikes causing inflation eroding consumer spending now gas prices are cheap but no one can take advantage of it and that could really fuel a lot of chaos in the energy sector and when you start talking about widespread bankruptcies and things like that. That has the possibility of Stan spreading into banks which have learned heavily to these companies in recent years. Are we seeing this begin to impact? Us oil production at this point. What's happening there? Many producers are trying to curtail production but the measures are to. It'll to wait in North America in the. Us and Canada. Many companies have been forced to shut in productive wells. So when you think about that. That's pretty staggering. These wells that function normally and at certain prices are economic. But now the numbers. Just don't make sense. So companies are being forced to shut in that production and so that's lowering supply. But it's already to wait. The world is simply out of storage in many cases for its excess oil and a price war between Saudi Arabia and Russia that was resolved recent. We really made this all worse so for a few weeks that we supply was increasing as demand was crumbling. And that's made it all just really chaotic. You also took a closer look at how. This is impacting retail investors. What did you find retail investors trying to take advantage of the crude price slump and bank on a rebound have piled into risky? Etf's like the US oil fund which trades under the ticker USO. Hundreds of millions of dollars have flowed into that fund in recent days. And that's very risky. Because is tied to some very complicated oil market structures that make its price go down. When their differences in futures contracts basically the fund is collapsing towards zero and people are trying to buy it counting on a rebound but because of how the fund is structured. That might never materialized and say that's causing huge losses for regular people who are buying funds that they really shouldn't be or they might out fully understand that's again making us all worse kind of the repercussions are really now going beyond just the energy industry and that's something people are very worried about.

after closing up two point four percent yesterday this image hands over a tray detente between the US and China on the prospect of monetary stimulus now for more on crew that's being a pretty big oil trading reporter Alex the only really good to see you in a CD thanks for coming in the big debate in the old market what is more important the trade war all OPEC this is a market is being solely driven by the trade war at the moment last week was probably the best example and the middle middle of the week we saw WCI up five percent and then no less than twenty four hours later down five percent as we did back and forth with tariffs nights Harris delay tariffs and and what we're seeing from this is the global at the global energy agencies for example the international energy agency last week saying that creed Dimond Hey it's going through a rough spot say the first five months of this year we kissed period since two thousand the night and that's why we try oil traders watching trade with so much because it's having a material impact on the Monday if this carries on for the rest of the year histories already there it shows is that it's not good reading for Christmas but we know from history the geo political rescues is what drives a lot of this and they couldn't have been many more recent periods of greater geopolitical risk I mean you look right across the globe but we we sing cashmere was sitting at least with seeing all kinds of areas but features on how a woman and you look at the weekend is had rockets fired oil fields in Saudi Arabia and doesn't get any places in the heartland of the oil market and that I'm there's a plethora vice is the demo inside is one but on the other hand you also have a much bigger supplied by the from elsewhere the US is the most obvious example where we've seen a surge in show production but actually if you look at full cost going forward again the yeah on just saying that a show you need to worry about this a joint field in no way that comes on line in the fourth quarter of Brazil's been steadily growing Canada and is there plenty of other countries out there they're quite happy to step in and at the moment for my pack what we're seeing is agreed output cuts where most produces con this is how are you I'm pop that more Russia had a major pipeline contaminate common contamination crisis that stop them being I was left out and so really is to Saudi Arabia cutting unilaterally cutting very deeply promising month off the month that it's gonna cut deeper again and but you have these new fields or else whether offsetting I'm not says well why going into next year you see the market looking incredibly Barish not something tries and it's working out for a couple months now okay incredibly bearish outlook but let the spread is also very critical isn't it W. tell I to bright and double check getting much near a value to to brand which is also the global benchmark why how do you explain us without again as a two fold impacts and ha ha but about everything because that's the trade with Holly and save and print has been sort of subjects much more selling pressure as a result of a trade war but to save the regional thing that so that spread earlier now about eighteen months ago was the show revelations all discrete coming on line in the palm in getting stock that we saw at the beauty I pull down against Brent the last few weeks we've seen is a major pipeline starting up in the U. S. taxes to pick these up hundreds of thousands of barrels a day of creed that is now getting from the palm in to the Gulf coast and that means that the key storage publication is draining and thoughts with a V. T. eyes price we've seen that got now right and now you're hearing analysts took about the V. "A twenty nineteen dollars is it what was it you know comparable probably not wrongly now and now everyone has he's crazy writers there and for which there there like we just show up yeah right exactly right pride and even food or bathrooms Chris is in Woodstock used to live in Alaska is got a story about what stock welcome back Chris how are you Sir Hey also man so there's a famous photograph from the stage overlooking the entire and then you would start with this stage is filled with us wannabes the the guys on the riser in little and the story goes does my French read our from Joshua tree I was hanging out with Michael Lang and hearty corn belt on the stage several days before it was rude beginning to start and they look retarded they said what's missing and he said the spiritual aspect is missing so he was doing yoga in Manhattan and that's when they got Swami Satchidananda we can never say that right sizes although my memory this warranty is the guy on the riser in the middle and my friend was responsible for arranging around tired yeah is very proud of that did you get to go I'm sorry did he go to the concert they'll is on stage for that picture all right I thought you meant that he just went before he was on stage but he was actually in that picture that famous picture yeah he's like third to the left looking from the back that's gonna pull a picture for me right now so I can see what your body looked like in nineteen sixty nine cans in Woodstock Ken Walker the marker show another guy from Woodstock what's going on thank you mark you know it wasn't the culture over there that would start but there was actually a greater attended all walks us full in New York state couple years later called what comes clean and that's when I do the I. NASCAR racing yes it is it works out that it was after that racetrack six hundred thousand they estimate there five hundred thousand it was dot and check out the second Atlanta international pop festival and bomb in Georgia but he estimates there are from three hundred to five hundred dell Demps nodding your head in agreement that you're doing and talked about it several times yeah who played at the walk ins lane concert you know yeah the Allman brothers band Grateful Dead in the band three bands I'll just three that's it there is I mean I don't know what I would have done it would stock as a coup what's the one group of Woodstock that you would have gone to to check out the search I mean obviously Shonda now what about you can to actually probably the yeah I think I would have done crass Crosby stills Nash and young and would you have known them at that time you know think they weren't really well no and they all were in there other bands respectively and it was a supervisor yeah I'll make a mark yes Sir I'm sorry that mean cutting out now so it's just dead but what which products will the drummer stole the Allman brothers band when I flew in he said later he was absolutely terrified he could not wait when he looked out and saw that crowd of people he said it could not wait to get on and get off and get out of there no yeah you ng story about what's your name famous singer song writers who wrote the song Woodstock Joni Mitchell was supposed to be there but her manager pulled her out because she was supposed to be on the Dick Cavett show on Monday and they were afraid they would be able to get her out this is like her first big time TV or from appearance so she bailed on it and she felt so bad that you missed it that you wrote the song Woodstock but you're interesting yeah it's pretty cool some more wood stock you ready for some more wood stock trivia there can hi this is from dead green Woodstock ventures spent two point five million dollars on the concert but only collected one point five million so they lost money on this there is a rumor that lot of people didn't have tickets it just showed up Chaudhry I would imagine there was very strict security there eighty arrests were made at Woodstock most involving drug charges including LSD amphetamines and heroin there were no incidents of violence at the Woodstock festival there was one baby born wasn't there yeah they call them what do they call that what I can tell you what a lot of babies were conceived and with that the biggest headaches that wed Woodstock massive traffic jams and I can vouch for that because that I mean Woodstock New York is like you Woodstock Georgia makes Woodstock New York scene you know I'm saying massive traffic jams extreme shortages of food water medical and sanitary facilities that's right even if I was alive back then without without knowing of food and bathrooms at private and I am not going to do it I'd I I'd sorry say all right yeah right now here's something I probably miserable but I would have done it have you know what hell how historic it was because your in hindsight for sure three deaths accidental deaths were reported at Woodstock I did not know that it was Max Yasgur's six hundred acre dairy farm in Bethel New York so not too far from Woodstock the city of Woodstock in battle it was held August fifteenth to eighteenth and billed as an Aquarian exposition three days of peace and music on believe what an interesting question for you yes Sir the biggest the biggest band there in terms of record sales at the top most part posted been played on but was not on the record or in the movie and it was Creedence Clearwater revival they do not make the movie I didn't know that at night the movie didn't like the record there Matt and some top with with their manager interesting yeah yeah because the of lot of the bands I think Neil Young is not featured in the movie they cut him out because he wouldn't sign the release he also stepped out for mom a big porridge portion of that like he'd want to play for part of it so yeah Cosby stills Nash not young he's an ornery little guy Canadiens other Canadians were nice thank you yeah that was a great call my friend days in Alpharetta Dave Walker the mark air show hello hello Dave it's actually working wow truck you really with yeah that's not a how you doing one thing I think about Woodstock obviously on genetics those born in in seventy three current gone in Woodstock but I mean looking back on it I think yes it was a music festival but it is the same point I think there was a lot of other things so just call on yeah so you're out that drew these people to that area yes it is a hippie Hey I'm Anthony a they need it was kind of yes it's a music festival what we also kinda wink wink new what the hell was going on you know anything agreed wait a wink wink yeah absolutely and by the way private jets only get on the town notes and yeah I'd rather take a private jet lark and I you know I try about four hundred every get on I don't know if you mysteriously if I am helicopter I'd probably go on but I you know I'd rather take a private chat then drive okay marquee and you don't I found two is thank you Ricky thank you thank you once you flown first class really tough to go back to coach yeah I've never phone fleur first good flying private in going back to commercials not I mean I don't know that you'd have to ask like Hannity or Jay Z. can they go back to flying coach now after flying I wouldn't think so back to flying
