That's what i wanna know mark next week. Let's talk some exit start looking at the pac twelve and breaking it down alec to it. I'm a man. Mark johnson the voice of the colorado buffaloes. Espn packers fans right. Oh we got aaron rodgers back for the year but he's probably gone at the end maybe two years but even then you could go in a super bowl and you can make some history real fast college football. It's like you're going to go in the mountain. West might not even be here next year. I mean that and know that sounds extreme for me to say i love the mountain west i do. I mean i love covering these teams colfax. If boise state leaves see issues left in the dust i mean. These conferences are already struggling. They're hanging a pack twelve struggling match in the mountain west. They're struggling just way different situations. And then the pressure is going to be on teams. You better be rolling. Are you're gonna get left out. I tell you colfax. i'm in to pressure. I love that. Love watching teams gomez. Because it's gonna fire coach if you don't or whatever is there is this the most pressure the colorado state rams football team has ever been under because if you suck and that stadiums empty and whatever teams do get on on tv. Then they're not gonna look at you. And i love niko medved and this basketball program. That's not enough to carry you unless you're winning if unless you're going to find a four and hoops mean if if niko medved for the next. Three years is going to like sweet sixteen or at least getting into the tournament. Every march madness all right. Maybe that can carry. You.

"I mean at this point. Forget about the colossus. Never mind the juggernaut because it looks like g to sports is building a tight rated there now. I think broadly speaking the move has the potential to do two things number one unlock nico and get into that number one in the world major winning spot that we all know he has the talent to be number two take g to sports from with flashes of brilliance to one where excellence is the standard and not just the flavor of the month i mean. Don't forget guys that beg was a top three team in the world at various times this year and the number one team in the world at one point in june now. We are in october and they are out of the top ten for the first time in over nine months. Gte sports does need something and it looks like they've decided that nico is going to be that something and what he brings to. The team is pretty obvious. I mean the chinese import can save in drop-offs for kenny. S is cousins on the team. Which is a plus and apparently his contract last until he sucks. Shit it's just another east. Sports will never mind now. Let's get serious for a second here. Because i do have some legitimate questions about this. Move first and foremost will nico be for sports. Because that was speculated as a weakness in his play when he started doing that for face clan for the answer to that. I turned to malik. Gt's sports go. Coach made some time for me for this interview. There doubts because we have like a professional troll of twitter are in the name of nexta. He loves to mess around on twitter. Lots nico will not game here. Thanks is i have a good relationship with next so about how we work together and as i said before he would feel a little capsule not most likely be able to save position next map. So it's like just having another voice Fresh ideas but he would just be a player that talks more than others but We stopped by not and we don't talk to ali muhsin union leader. I think he's very happy to to go back to a more play a role we make sure that we use him as best as again. That's what to do. I also ask malik. How does nikos specifically solve g to sports problems and help them get back to that number one spot. They were in june dabs off. Mitterrand ccording to help nexta in terms of like expediencies about Decides is rose like on the big rotations Decision making to move the team around to retake very is and spitting walk teeth not out of robotic direction that we'd planned and i really think that's having nico will help us to have more consistency since he is like bringing medical negation better experiences. Better weeds overall. I also asked him in all honesty. What is the team expectation here. Now that nico's on born is it win a major or die trying. I think it's very easy to to answer Since i arrived to call is just to get on top I don't know if it's winning. One specific title. Or if it's yeah. Winning major basically is one one thing we can say with that. Let's not let's not lie here just getting better moving for wolves. Every time we have an ultra cheap Within the same team making the team better every day we have seen that we can compete on a reliable with lineup riyadh's already H- having nico there. We just like put us in even more strong position now from the original announcement. It seemed like g to was going for on. A stroll is style six man roster but malik told me that's actually not the case he says we can expect a decision on a final five man roster by the end of the year. This is not a six man roster. Stay sixteen winter break. I really love all the players to five of them before he could joint we would make spot to nico. I think it's a great thing to do and before out with that's what we do is testing on the field who will try out different combination because we really would like to see the best synergy on the fields. What is working best for our system. Twelve the best results possible. Now look in case any of you guys forgotten. Nicole really is a generational talent when it comes to counter strike he's an amer- of nearly unparalleled skill and when he first burst into the public consciousness back in two thousand fifteen ish on most sports he produced some highlights that are so iconic. We've still use them in some cisco videos today from the very very get shocks justify one more of the money isn't going to touch him and what on earth has just happened. Degal is on going to walk into as well nico is on fire. And after that he signed on with the faze clan super team playing alongside legends like guardian wachtmeister kerrigan and rain. You help them get to a major grand final speed. Run i m york and a half a dozen other major tournaments but once shine wore off the faze clan super team once carrigan left in that fifth spot became a little less stable wants nico started taking the dedicated role. Things did trend downward for him. In two thousand nineteen he had his lowest rating ratings since two thousand sixteen and he was left out of the top ten players in the world. Now mind you. He was number eleven. But if you're nico v nico that's not really good enough. That's not good enough. And so here we are looking at a faze clan whose time seems to have passed at least when it comes to nico and it's not like he isn't a great addition to that roster or it's not a great organization for him to be a part of. It's just that you can't help but feel that the partnership between faze clan and nico has run its course. It's been well over three years since he signed with faze clan and nico hasn't won a major yet and again if you're that caliber of player that's just not good enough. I mean let's just be honest to your guys pays. Kleenex should have won the boston major. They didn't and i'm not going to make this video about what basically clan should or shouldn't have done but the point is if niko couldn't get it done in three and a half years with phase. Was he realistically ever going to. I think it was pretty clearly time for a change. And hey i don't know if gt is the answer for nico or nico is the answer for g too. But i can't wait to find out which brings us to the other side of this whole equation which is faze clan a team who honestly still have plenty of firepower even without nico especially with the recent signing of carvey. They will have to figure out who's taking jail rains. But they're still a deadly squad of four absolute killers unfortunately for them though nico wasn't the only loss to faze clan this week same day. He announced his transfer to juju sports. Their coach yankel which announced that he was leaving the team and taking a break from coaching till twenty twenty one so in one single day faze clan lost two crucial layers of leadership there and their coach and that to me is the more worrying sign faze clan especially since yanko said in his parting statement quote for a while now the team has been struggling with some reoccurring issues in and out of the game. Which i've done my best to try and amend but unfortunately without much success and quote which suggests that the problems in faze clan might not be an easy fix but hey where there's a wallet there's a way and basically have plenty of cash and plenty of to fill those rules with top tier talent. G2's next game will be a monday against as part of the last fall series. And it'll be the first time that we see nico g. two colors who knows. Maybe he'll pop off. Maybe you'll have a bad game doesn't really matter what matters is that represents a second chance for one of cs goes true great players a second chance at fulfilling that destiny and hopefully winning that major and can you imagine if he did it with kenny. S now that is a story of video. I'd like to see..

But I'd be worried about that. I wouldn't have the courage to do that has. Your. Baby Stupidity wits. A vote. I'm going to lead. Well I did live stupid things when I was young. Very old I don't make what you did this. Are you a twenty, five, twenty, six, yells I did lots of crazy things. especially, you have the alcohol. Anyhow. That's story. Other part would be in the Philippines where we went to disobey some context for Your Business. You might not know as president in the Philippines call the on he's on you anymore you've been around for a couple of years now, but the person they have now or Griego. Dessert. Day. This why he calls like a war on drugs Quite a bit more intense than while you have even in the states he's basically got death squads going around killing anyone who's even suspected than not even proven Vikings becks of being a drug user neither Mike a drug dealer just like a drug user or drug dealer on most not big time kingpins mostly it's just some guy who's living in the slums selling meth out of shocked two or three other guys. I'm not sure how many is a numbers it's Kinda hard to get accurate number would be desk things in van released. Like buddy count. But think I read on Human Rights Watch just on the twenty five, thousand, thirty, thirty, thousand murders something like that which is crazy. But anyway, yeah, we got to meet one of the death squad guys I got to meet him through a local journalist who worked with someone I know at rt the Russian TV network on we we went this Karaoke bar announce guts of Manila when round the back this little room upstairs. Already, standing there in the middle of the room with like this blank expression based lap balaklava dressed all in black black gloves as well. I have a little backpack with a bullet was a off. Zipper and he sat down at one point. He got his style and put it on the table and he started around on a couple of times like the Bow Ospina, he wasn't making. It was just demonstrating the bow us on my face on my. Of No one told me told him about Mile Job, you know. That's wild. That's crazy man. One thing. One thing he said that was quite interesting to end. This wasn't just made their BBC news also have a similar kind of interviews. Well, it's not just me like found out as it were by he says that he worked for general or someone in the military. And that he left a lot of drug dealers and drug kingpins alone. So long as they're member to pay their tax. The I'm guessing that at least out of the war on drugs, the Philippines, it's not so much. Cleaning up the streets as it is getting rid of the private competition interesting each day. What that rug business at you've probably found out corruption is just ripe for you've got that kind of money cash money floating around its especially in third. World. Countries were law enforcement out notoriously enter paid everything is just riddled with corruption for went into the system the. Bad thing about narcotics businesses are so much corruption that comes along with Portugal the no, no have a chance about equal justice ready by you got PARCO's rented everything. It's you know it's all about them and what they can do the money you could make. So I I know you're ran into, you know got interesting talking about that and how they deal with narcotics in the Philippines, not read about that Strongman and will skill drug dealers. In the United States you know we have this war on drugs soldier will rock the always like to say house once say so driven by regular drugs started out under the Reagan administration had. They started amping a lot of money. Broadmoor. We got a lot of equipment laws pass. Would it make a snitch on anybody? You're looking at fifty years independent country though read out their mother zone with lots of tools that overtime cars and we'd go after dealers. It had nice car so he can take car than avenue drivers. Over have Corruption around that Greg bits around that money and that didn't see any good. It doesn't seem like there's anything. You having familiarity with Portugal where they legalize drugs, which the story there how much legalized as the allies which means it's not police are at all so. You can still be arrested have to be doing something really stupid. You'd have to be like lighting up a crack pipe in front of a school in broad daylight. Then line and. I think if you're doing that, you should be arrested. But yes, they've stopped receiving all kinds of lower level cases. So that means that if a teenager for example is get caught smoking whenever end up on their criminal record will happen is they'll get diverted to this sort of bored I. Think there's like three people on the borders get doctor social worker and someone else I remember exactly who And they try to assess you if you have a drug problem if you down if you're just kind of like a casual use. Okay, I do. Co. Mina twice a year on my birthday on New Year's any just happens get called on Media San find e careful this this this. Don't share banknotes like Basic Safety Advice. If you do how problem than what they do is they try to divert I they ask you you WANNA be. Like the getting all the health there is free. and. I think you're some companies actually got like tax cuts or employing recovering addicts give them more of an incentive rather than a criminal rex ease them back in society. But again, even if you want help but no point you get unless trafficking with or dealing and get a criminal record, it's worked out quite well for them I mean I I. Think it's a little bit over hi, how much success they've actually had. But what you can say is the druggies hasn't gone up and it's also easy are or those who is what you really want is you want to reach like the hardcore addicts not uric as out some Mike Forty year old guy he smokes on his house because he likes it. Hardcore addicts on it's. Easier for them to either get help or live with their addiction more sustainably that if that makes sense the nonsense it's worked out quite well. Yeah interesting. Interesting I'll we need to try up? United States I think it's common with this aisle criminal justice reform in a lot of talk about the prisons are full of people and so many have drug convictions. "Surfer Thomas Miller has been at the heart of this buyer Munich team and really the heart of the club for more than a decade now I could you just describe what he's like as a person? Is Very funny or anything all I have time I have time and then me the road runner they have to by roadrunner cancer had the steal ball doesn't always come across in English, because it's very difficult for humans to translate well but he is very funny in minutes I ever show with A. TV team, I say completed. No Fun. Is. Very intelligent straightforward I think he has good sense of what it is. That makes a team successful. Thank you for the mets trophy. But I think we have Maybe twelve or fifteen players. That deserves the trophy as well. We worked so hard. We work with and I think on top of that. He personifies what it means to be a bavarian. You know buying is the German word for that area just very wealthy very beautiful. It is the stereotypical. Germany for most foreigners who we think of deer think of people lederhosen people sometimes look down on these guys lederhosen their beer as being slightly simpleton maybe a little bit argument and and Brash Ovens. But for for Bavarians, it is a sense of pride after the training session the stars took part in the traditional power Lana Lederhosen photo shoot. And when you combine that with buying as a football institution who play on that heightened sense of Bavarian, he think represents those contradictions but also the the bland and the combination of these things in a way that no other bind player does at the moment. And in terms of soccer. I have to say Thomas. Miller is one of the strangest players I've ever seen. Can you explain what makes him so unusual he is strange because he holds a really important position for one of the best teams in the world without being necessary obviously a gifted player. Because of his spindly legs and this upright running frame and this, he looks like a middle distance runner than a footballer I try not to be that muscular than my teammates because Less weight on my bones, his less injury, and that's my secret. It just don't see the the beauty elegance to so even the power the most played at this level brain and there's always something ungainly love it awkward about the way he and controls the ball he likes to Shin The ball router. Hindi cleanly speak about jumped all the time. Is Elite. I think once said that he's the best worst player in the world. I once thought that you know he was playing with a white t-shirt underneath his shirt poking out as some kind of wife beater show underneath and maybe I was imagine it almost got the sense that he was doing it on purpose to just give the impression that this is just this random guys just walked onto the pitch and he can't possibly be any good and opponents look thinking. Who is this guy and then twenty minutes later he's got two goals against them. So I think he's perfected that sleight of hand and is quite happy that people still think he's somehow know a good player and I think it takes you quite a bit of time and and different viewpoint to understand what it is yet she brings to the team and I tried to explain that my my biggest quality is maybe. The game without ball because in this time we had his game is all based on on movement on ideas on the interpretation of space as he wants himself, put it. So eloquently than my qualities to do to get in the right space to the right time. Maybe. Space Interpreter. But what does is so incredibly effective it's much easier to understand why successive bind coaches have founded absolutely necessary to make him keep playing a key position and also why successive coaches who haven't been able to see the beauty of mirrors game. F-. Often found themselves fired will speaking of that last season under Niko Kovac Thomas Miller spent a lot of time on the bench way is that I think you could call it just didn't understand what was the devil was doing for. Him Kovachev, slightly more reactive systems more defensive system. He often played with three midfielders and three attackers. So middle often found themselves very far away from goal. So you really losing the best attributes familiar plane in that position and eventually almost but I have of applies knows wide positions and if anything I will use them as a backup for the doc- through the middle is mistake was to say that to Miller you you're my backup option which didn't go down well. And because the results were bad because you know unhappy million addressing is not not a good thing. It all add it to the reasons he coach was eventually fired many. He mishandled Muna mishandled the team N.. Misunderstood I think the the real importance of murder which now has become apparent when small.

There's GonNa. Be So many more companies out there that can take advantage of it and get to market faster and You know hopefully, change change. I think the exciting thing about being in healthcare in this moment is I have not felt the excited about health care in a long time because there were rules like that. Putting is lack of rules around this that Lilly Stein eat a lot of innovation and the ability to take something from zero to wall on because you couldn't even do something as basic as. "After I moved here that we remained friends for a long time you know, and these are guys that I still talk to. Very seldomly now, a couple of my don't, but there was for years my. Want to always be around them and I wanted to connect with my boys from Chicago. I wanted to hang out with them and do stuff and. It was really negative for me. I mean I hate saying that if they're listening, they're probably like fuck you dude but there's a reason we're not hanging out all the time it's because. I realized that my circle needed to get smaller I realized that might pass just because i. knew those guys doesn't mean I know those guys and a lot of our priorities are changing in very different factions. So where I saw. Challenges in struggles. In, thought as like partner life and I wanted to go pass on Things up. They saw me that they didn't agree with and there was a lot of butting heads for the end of our relationship. We were butting heads on a lot of stuff. So it wasn't just one way like Oh man I. Think I'm better than than. So I need to get out of here. It was just our priorities weren't the same anymore in the stuff that I was looking for for my life and what I wanted to do was no longer there in my relationship with them. So we just had split ways so. It's just one of those things I mean, as you grow older as you become more mature in the business that you're in as you. Set these goals for yourself. Especially when you know your self directed self employed entrepreneur line, Saad, you understand that those changes need to happen or you will forever be putting yourself in a box and I'm looking to break those barriers. So I don't think I've ever would have been able. That kind of mindset if it wasn't for the year that I'm in now and all the things that I'm doing. So I hope that answered question does a lot of it. A lot of the struggles that most people endure as let me ask you this. So you you. Let's say you don't have any business right now. Yeah. You're not answering anybody. You don't have to be anywhere at a specific time of day. How the hell are you going to wake up structure yourself and do the things that you need to get done? To start generating an income for yourself so that you can live. Forget thriving but just so that you can pay the essentials roof over your head food in the Fridge your cell phone bill utilities, things like that like if I have a real listens. We'll just just in general, right whatever it is sales. And sales entrepreneurial if you're starting from scratch right now. Yeah. You don't you have any obligation. And and you don't. You don't have appointments. You don't have 'cause you don't have any followups nothing, right? What what is 'cause you deal with people who have and I've felt this. you know paralysis by analysis and we're all wake up. Nice to wake up like I. I don't know how I'm GonNa make money today one of my going to do. And then people get stuck and they get lazy become complacent and then is not until maybe they're back is up against the wall where. If they don't pay rent they're GONNA be evicted the next day or something like that. Right more are on the flipside people that are starting a new career and you know they are living with their parents or their goal or their friend or whatever. While they start start this new venture because I totally believe that motivation is like a kick starter, but it's not gonna it's not GonNa see you all the way through right. It's not going to take you into dissenting stretch. We didn't mention is nonsense right so what is what is the thing? What is the genetic quad like what is it is going to help you and what has helped you Propel yourself forward to get to the point that you're at now. Other, than the fact that you just need money. Yeah. JEEZ I think trying figure out exactly. Not What your motivation is but kind of what your? What your ability is to be able to prioritize your day. So prioritisation. I think that's really important with rear kind of lead yourself you know not everybody. For instance. Okay which he's fine with me talking when it's twenty two. We had to talk about what? You wanted to do when he got out here. He moved out from Portland from national. I said Look I know you don't want to be real estate agent I know you don't want to be a business owner. I know you don't want any of that chef just make yourself some money. On like. You don't have to WanNA concord in order to make it. You know I see somebody that works at walgreens which I used to work. As a successful if they're happy, they're the manages their you know when I work there she was incredibly happy lady she had a great staff. She ran a great ship is I would call it and she is very successful in all of those ways. So I don't think it. I mean, that's a hard question answer. There's no wrong way it. It's just starting. It's just taking action to try to put yourself in a position where. What arbitrate that you don't have any experience with get yourself in front of people that. You know if you WANNA be. Doctor But yourself some doctors join some networking groups that are going to give you. Can Approach your school approach studying the right way. Put yourself apart of groups of students said. Leave in the right direction. I think it's a lot of exposure on networking. That's what I did wouldn't testify. Were I. was my position I just got involved with a lot of different areas. So like I got involved, I thought maybe I could work. While I just needed money at the time, but I got a job at AAA and then I got a job at Jimmy Johns as a bike delivery guy because I needed some money on the side and then I ended up in GM marketing director for re Jimmy Road GM for one marketing director for three but. That wasn't like coincidental. It wasn't just like fell into it. I saw that there was an opportunity and I put myself around those people and it led me to that position. So. I think it's just a matter of taking the first step heaven itself doubt and a lot of people. You don't lie for me before I started the podcast before started doing a lot of this I thought who fuck Miley Houma be giving people advice Soom I to. Let people know how they should be living their lives and then you read the stories of these guys at right these New York Times bestsellers on how to be a millionaire, how to make all this money in there. fucking college storms like these guys are not millionaires. These guys guys are putting out information. So we're all on the same playing field here man I mean it's just making sure that you get yourself out there. You have a little self confidence and you're able to talk to people in not be a bumbling idiot because it goes a long way to be able to stand in front of a person and have fluid right I mean I personally would rather take advice from someone who's had practical knowledge. Right so So I don't care if you've made a million bucks or if you made one hundred gram. I've made zero and I WANNA learn what you have accomplished. It's a lot easier for me to be able to connect with somebody like you. That's let's say you know made a few hundred grand from real estate and I'm just starting out I can the reaches much closer bright I'm closer to you. And if I can just mimic what you did I can get to, let's say, four hundred, thousand dollars a year. And then I would eventually want to go to the guy that makes a million dollars a year and so on and so forth. So. I think that's that's really.

"Was in a conscious effort to propel me to the next step and I wasn't sure how they were connected and I wasn't sure how much growth was going. But I knew that I had to keep swimming keep fighting harder right and then it kind of connected itself to where I'm at right now. Taken those random sales job those moonlighting. A. Medical job after I got out of the military I moved back to Chicago and I worked at a place called yellow brick new yellow brick has rehab facility for. Its reemphasize. So a lot of people addicted to drugs a lot of people with. Psychological. Addictions a lot of people that are just really struggling but. I wasn't sure that I really liked it. So I worked that job at night. I would work at from nine PM till six in the morning, and then in the daytime I saw a marketing company that was expanding in Chicago. So I would work that job from eight pm the like five, six, seven o'clock in the afternoon. I was sleeping on the train between jobs to figure out what I like. Mar. so it was like, should I do this medical thing or should I do this sale saying here going back and forth and I did that for months before I made the decision to stop. You know set focusing on the medical stuff start focusing on marketing I. think sales is kind of more of my speed I like to talk to people I like to engage with people I liked obviously the profitability factor to where there's no cath right. But if you work in a hospital, you have your limitations and then you have to put it in your years for free to a certain place. I wanted you know in my mind at the time get rich quick scheme obviously that's not a thing never affected. So it led me to where I'm at now. So like I said I wasn't sure what my path was or where I was going. I knew that I need to change and I knew these things we're going to help me get to a place that I needed to be. And It's been working out so far. So I'm pretty happy about it. That's awesome. Do you regret your decision moving away from the medical? No not at all I mean, I I love the medical field. I think that's A Nice Plan C. Four me. But I think I made the right choice. I feel very comfortable around that now. I feel really confident where I'm at I. Feel I have a lot of control over my life and that's something. That I didn't have the luxury of having before especially when I was younger and it was like somebody make. And now it's like I'm going to insert myself here. Make it work. And it's been a huge benefit farming. So I've been able to tap into true version of myself. You can lead me to this point to where I feel like two fifty four could be achievable. In unreasonable in doing I feel like my real estate careers only gonNA thrive from where it is right now and I have a lot of things that are pointing in those directions. So no I think I made the right choice. What, what are some of the things some of the assets that you were able to build? Assets from a personal development standpoint. that. You took away from sales being independent working for yourself. A lot of people tend to have the struggle of being consistent enough disciplined enough and having the sheer will to see it through. and it's not just applicable to sales, right? Like this can be for anything any career. Anything that you WANNA do in life right but I feel like you being thrown in a sales job or Entrepreneurial or anything that that dictates you make. What you make is a direct result of the work that you put in. To be self reliant. What are some of the things that you've learned along the way that have helped benefit you in staying consistent and? Always, progressing forward to make sure that you're constantly moving the needle level leveling you up to the next step or the next evolutionary step of of your career. Yeah for sure I've learned a ton and. Here for hours in a lot of the stuff that I've learned not to say apply at all, but I've learned shutdown. I learned to deal with a lot of the stressors that I would normally have. I learned not to be complacent in kind of what I was doing I learned. How to deal with? You know I've explained this before but the waves that would come crashing on you now we were talking about. Mindfulness and medication, but I think it's applicable toward all the stresses that you have to deal with. So you know you're sitting on a beach you're going through your day you're going through life these waves keep coming after an you know keep coming one after the other and that's kind of how life is right. Every struggled keeps dumbing some waves are larger than the other, but they'll keep coming crashing on the beach I've learned how to look past that a lot more and understand that those waves are going to be continuous. No matter what and I just go about my day on. Really Call. Beach, but Oregon I love it so you know I've learned to make sure that I'm. Doing things to. It's not so much random anymore ym trying to take these next steps in sales where before it was a lot of random application and I thought, maybe this can put me in the right direction. Now, I know where the directions going now I know what to do and where to place myself who I needed, surround myself with, and the fact that might circle needed to shrink a law. When I moved here you know we had a few buddies that came out.

"I, knew that I was on my own A. And of emotionally detach, myself had some parties at my house I saw this kind of a cool thing to have this house by myself. But reality started hit me when I'm bouncing around from house to house I'm sleeping in my buddies backyard because I just don't know where I'm going to stay I tried same with a few people get kicked out because I was a bad influence or my buddies at the time and then of course, you know there's gracious enough people that took the end where I ended up. What were you though about influence or were you just? Yeah I mean, of course. Yeah I. Think it was a mixture of the two. Right. There's too dumb kids in the house and there's one kid who has his buddy over who he's excited and your body gets to stay with you remember sleepovers as a kid it's exciting especially when they get to live with you because they don't understand the gravity of the situation that I actually need a place to stay for me. I you know. I didn't know any better. So I'm just to hang out I started drinking and smoking weed when I was thirteen years old you know my first beer unfortunately was Miller lite in this girl's kitchen when I was thirteen and I thought it was the coolest thing. From there things kind of spiraled after I got left. That's all I had was all these people that surrounded by and then that's when you know drugs and stuff took place just a few years after that so. Yeah I was definitely a bad influence is all I wanted to do was go home started. That all through high school because my senior high school when I on the north side of Chicago from the South side. We're going home at lunch and were drinking. Coconut Sobe Thula, Vodka Ribbon the Bong like going back inside taking a couple of and hanging out all day you just out of it I. Mean I was out of it for a few years until I actually lost enjoy military because that was my option. So join the airforce dot away from that. And that was the bummer in itself because I was in a situation I was living with his family on the Nolan's that's. But? They took me in and they kinda showed me a these things are achievable a better life. As possible. We're going to get you through community college will look at different schools. I thought that was amazing and then one day my dad showed up after not being around for best year and a half saying, Hey, you're gonNA come with me. You're my son. So I moved in with my dad and my dad lived in a basement with one bedroom that was. You know ten paces back and forth where you reluctant. Were you reluctant where you reluctant to move in with your dad after being in an environment that seemed? And uplifting, and. Forward. It was a real bummer because I knew what was going to be going back to. Our primary grocery store was the dollar tree. You know. So that's where we're getting all of our shed where I walked dollar tree where when I was Nolan's house an instance I remember this like it was yesterday we go into the store and when I'm shopping with my parents and I was a kid were always conscious of price like we didn't buy a drink when we by Burger Burger King, you know because it's just too much money. I go to the store with them and I told her that I liked snapple right 'cause low pop Dhabi low facts on the bottom and she's like case of him. I was like, no no, that's too much money. She looked just grab a case and that moment like did something to make is one I still remember it like it was yesterday to. It was a moment where it's like Oh shit like I can do I can do this like this be part of my life Ijaw a bigger life than what I was letting myself. Letting myself experienced prior to that point it was like a to me it sounds like it was the first. Domino effect of getting you out of scarcity mindset. Yeah Probably and I saw that you know that's got an insight to kind of what their parents said in their dad who would flip houses work construction very blue collar guy very. Straightforward. Direct guy. In their mom who's a teacher, but she was just always so helpful on so. Just persistent on being a part of her kids lives and she's just a great mother and a great person to look up to because of the knowledge that she had in the person that she is that she lived was always very consistent. Seeing that I just saw a household saw a better life and that was. Incredibly encouraging for me and when my dad showed up, I knew that I was going to be taken away from all that now that's not to take anything away from again I loved my dad and I appreciate the that of course he showed up you know he's my blood but you know when you're in a situation where you're talking about college and you're talking about what the next steps are going to be too. I don't have any money. I don't have any resources. I don't have any options and I don't have any advice for you so good luck. It's a huge kick in the balls and first instinct was to get out of there. I realized I willing to go to school. I didn't have the initiative myself I felt like I needed some of that structure to help me repel myself a bit. So my answer was join the military and get out of here join the military and try to get into the medical field because people medical field are always needed. And I'm always going to have jobs became a medic in the air. Force. And that was. That was a great time. It was a great experience. How long did you? What was the transition between you go near the air force after moving back gear with your father within a year? Okay. My New Year's. So I went there the beginning my senior year I was out of there by. June. Like June. Yeah. June is when I left to their first mile. And that was huge. It was a huge bummer while. I'm happy. I did I mean I learned a lot. I met some people. To travel the do south but what are the Air Force teach you? That that, you didn't have in your arsenal before. A deadly. Put me. You know a lot of people give the air force. Says the chair for they don't do much. They sit on their ass all day and granted. Lobster Wednesdays. In Colorado I'M NOT GONNA lie it was very cash but Because it gave me. A little bit more direction I. Think a lot of the people that were my sergeants. ME. The. Same speech that I would get in high school. You have so much potential if you just did that sort if so much potential here and here and that potential talk I got my whole life until my early twenties you know so. It was something that kept the a little bit of inspiration for me He got to show me people from different parts of the country which I thought was pretty valuable because growing up in Chicago, very diverse. It see great mix of people from all over the world I went to high school my senior year, which was one of the most diverse schools in the city at the time it was I'm not so sure years but. I like seeing that in it allowed me to connect with a bunch of people that you know a lot of them were looking to get away from home. A lot of them are looking for change in I. Knew that I needed change I just didn't know how to pursue it and I didn't realize that that's what I was looking for. So one day obviously that clicked for me. A couple of years later but. Looking back. I feel like everything that I was doing. You know even now. Well up.

In the I also have a podcast called fifty four where right now, I'm in the process of trying to develop different habits right now. Monday three. And it's been challenging so far man on a little bit more than I normally am. Up More, sore, than I normally am. I myself thinking my day but it's nice because at times Reid normally kickback and like take a few minutes for myself. Myself. And it's not the fact that I'm doing that it's the frequency at why like how I'm catching myself so to many times throughout the day my like omen I should be doing something. So that's part of the process of me trying to minimize those things find better habits for myself and then explore new path. So it's it's exciting. I'm real into its look me very verbal. So that's something I didn't really consider by I started is how vulnerable I have to be route the whole process because I, have to give daily updates I. About everything that I'm doing. So it's not even just accountability. It's like I'm giving a piece of myself in. The register until earlier today when I'm sitting here and I'm looking into my phone. Jesus like I'm giving detailed account of everything that doing so. Now, everyone knows my habits. So I'd I'd be easy to find. Your. By orbiting, well edgy to wanting to do this project. Just changes man I mean I see. For me, it was a matter of a lot of opportunity over the years. There's a lot of stuff that I've been wanting to do. That just never got around to make excuses for it. Legitimately. Got Busy as what I tell myself. But when it comes down to it, there's a lot of time in the day that I'm not utilizing for instance, one of the things that I was waking up at five am and that's something that I'm not giving self any leeway on. So said of waking up at five, thirty, five, forty, five, leading my day start later immediately five o'clock Mayans ringing which by the way an alarm is something that I'm doing. Because four I would just wake up in the morning and I do naturally wake up pretty early. But now it's get up by the alarm at the latest in now in up doing things. So I'm providing more time throughout my day in order to see what else I can do in leading the tackle those projects that I once didn't have enough time for was too busy for on in. You know it's making me more aware. So as I, love. You know to go down roads to try to make myself a little bit more self aware try to find out where. That something I've always tried to do since I was dead. And it's It's been interesting I. Mean it's only three days in. And I'm struggling with. Trying to make these changes for myself. I think the quickness of the adapt the adaptation here is really fucking with me. It's really something that I'm thinking about a lot and. I feel exposed but I think it's normal and I think over time we're going to have to deal with this and try to figure out how to make it work best for myself. You've always been. Well as long as I've known you, you've been pretty self aware. What what What happened to you throughout your? Life. That that, helped contribute to that self awareness that is brought to you the level of which you are at today. I. Made a lot of bed choices. I you know. Granted pants. Ten Years I got has been a lot of bad choices, I've. Chips to the ground that I shouldn't have. Disconnected myself from people that maybe. I could have been a better person were them in the end. I could have been a better person toward myself. I could have provided more value in those scenarios. Is. Really disrespectful I. Feel a lot of stuff that I did. And You know from that I just WANNA change in there's only so many times you can kind of bring bridges of people before as. You're kind of being a piece of Shit I. Mean That's really what it came down for me. And I know I run the risk of being an asshole to people because just my temperament kind of my personality that's how people see me sometimes but. Not so much worried about that as I'm worried about making sure that valuing the people that are around me that I need to. And appreciating the relationships that I have them. Giving them the respect and dignity that I should because I'm bringing these people in close for a reason. You know I need to I, need to be there and not just expect him taken. Put myself at this. Didn't like a dude. A lot of mistakes put me here. Right. You have an interesting story though one that develops. your and to nasty and a lot of disciplines that you had to almost forcibly endure. Just. A make it. Out of there to yourself in a situation where. You could be self reliant right now they got a lot of. You know with with today's younger generation. Shit I, mean that's not even specific. The younger generation I would just say the Society of which we live in today. We have a lot of people with the victim mentality. That never want take accountability and blame others and blame circumstance. Environment. The outside world. For. For for their Lack of success or for. The bad things that happen to them. Were you. Did you ever have were you ever in a state of mind where you were playing the victim and if so how did you move away from that? Mentality. Yeah. So I don't think I. Recognize it as playing victim. I just think my answer was the key to my happiness was indifference. I felt like if I put myself in a state of indifference that I'm winning because I allowed myself to get emotionally detached. So you know. There was the time where. I was like fifteen years old and I Was Left in my house. So my mom left my dad wasn't there my mom moved to Nashville and you know in highschool I'm left in this house by myself not knowing what's going to happen next. I. Didn't know anything about finances or or closures until one day. I. Showed up in school. There's a padlock on my door So I kind of had to figure out at that point. What the hell am I gonNA. Do you know and obviously I knew that I had been lost? Before that happened.

"Age one of the baddest motherfucker afford and then I have to fight it. She'll get ready for Chris lytle and then I look at a Guy. Like let's say frank trick or matters. I don't want you weren't as close to Franco. My goodness out doing. It's extra motivation. Bryce guys if you don't Adl do she. What do want to do to do she guy or you owe refrigerator. You'RE GONNA pay me to smack. His mother Mug. It's like it's like a win win side. I like that Joe off. It makes not like that he got nowadays. I want to say look what he does. He's not angry. I WANNA see what happens. When he has something he wants to make a point clear somebody get stuck in. I. I'm the same way man. We're on the same page. And the reason I really like is because I don't feel bad about hitting them. You know I really don't feel bad about wanting to hurt. You know I it. It makes it just a whole lot easier to punch the shit out of some due to say he's GonNa rip your arm off for no reason. You know it just makes it easy. I WANNA go in their fight to do now. Bryce you the Australia's I know I was just GonNa say style wise. It's a very intriguing. Fight all talking aside Because Larosa has a skill as great well rounded skill. Set much like Drake's so I'm looking forward to a whirlwind of a fighter no matter where it goes because I mean shit and brashest got sick as twister. You WanNa look at being somebody resilient to emissions. Looks like what Bobby Moffett and bobby gets. She gets a respect for that. Fight you because you had in some bad as some bad fighting positions and bobby the wolf moffitt hung in there and Ford out of it just to be putting something else it was doing so people took that shit out man and and I think it was a good learning lesson man. I really think that It was meant to be you know that the fight happened that way But man if I was just this much stronger even finish the arm bar. Mount cold with the straight left and squeezed out that rear naked choke in the third round. There's so many Finish opportunities that I just did not vanish you know and It really sucks being this close to finishing and looking back and just I mean that choke in the third round I was I was one hundred percent certain vanish him and he just looks right out. You know. And it's like arm was way instead away in one fifty four or five white one sixty out of finish. There's no way you know he's out by hair. It was the fact that he did survive that onslaught. Then come back and put you in some scary positions with those sources. That did nothing but just elevate your fight. Iq 'cause now if you would have sunk emission amen. What were they will know is when you have those findings emissions even if you're not trying to exert energy straight you see it right there so you do you put that story to it. Sorta guy survives so failed takedown. It's like so to both your guys credit. You end the wolf man Bobby Mauvais anytime you guys got shit and you got back to you if you went right back to try to hurt each other and throw. There wasn't any island. Get on my toes a little so I mean it's fresh in my head 'cause I just watched it but what a fucking awesome fight and alerting fight and I feel that that fight helped you grow as a fighter. That fight was exactly I? I really think everything is meant to be. And that's that's that's why You know that's happened is God or whatever you WanNa call it. I'll believe it's God but you know that's what that was about right. There is teaching me to fight through adversity. It's GONNA help. It's going to help me later on as she on fighting for the bout one of these tough dudes gets me choke you know. I'm so out been here before. Dry The opening fight and I can't wait to see you fight again. I Know Matt's looking forward to enlist discard happens. And we'll talk to you after man. We're happy we're able to get you today price. "Together. Every Don Matt be filtered Matt and I are on location. We're broadcasting on location and. I think we've got this down to a science. I'm saying that now other people may hear it and go. You guys are horrible but we have. Niko price on today. We also have bryce Mitchell returning who I really like. And they are both on this card. Which is made the ninth. I think is what they're looking at. We still don't have a location though due to be announced so we don't know but we just know it's on May ninth by You know what I did this morning Jimmy as we speak the great raging islay Quinta. Is texting me okay? We tried to call and I told him you. Then he's and. Nobody told me he goes are sick. I was just listening to the last episode. He's he supports. Us raging ally but besides that I made a UFC fight. Pass morning I was watching Bryce Mitchell's fight. Not His last one when he said that's sick. S Twister. Yeah I'm talking about his fight before that. With the bottom bobby. Wolfman the Wolfman MOFFITT. That was a sick fight and I want to bring that up to him because I think that was a very growing fight and he had to deal with a lot adversity a lot out. There was a lot of transition on the floor. He was caught in a couple of jokes and tight jokes that just weathered and he won that fight and I think that was a very growing fight able to talk about that and then I watched his opponent Charles Rosa who trains with. Who Changed with our Charles McCarthy? Who was actually on season? Four of the ultimate fighter the comeback with me in house for six weeks. I know him very well. And May I add just like myself? We have two things in common chose McCarthy his coach. He's a great guy he really is a good guy. I'm not saying I'll break. But yes you great guy. He's very good energy to Charles. Mccarthy and store you know we both love widgets and I'll say it like that so holds Bain and what was the last thing I was GONNA say? Oh perhaps the most important. He is an avid V are Yes he plays the game. He's like right him and his friends. They begin called Pavlov. And it's it's like a call of duty type shooter. Gay might the battle Royale Shit by south. But he is a geek like that so I don't know why I brought that up and I did and also because he's GonNa Jitsu Watch. He's the coach of Charles Rosa. Who's great fight with him brew? It breaks Mitchell. Great fight this. Last night. I watched I watched shoulders last night. Verse mainly Bermudez. That's what I'm going to say. I don't know I just watched it. I'm GonNa do it right now as we speak. And yes it was and he won by an armlock and it was. He was put in a bad position right away. He was on his back early in the fight. Kept his composure. Walk while we're being rained down atop him and again man should showed calmness in the eye of the storm much like Bryce Mitchell. So this is a great fight. I'm really looking forward to that by. Yeah and I. It's funny while you were doing that. I was watching Nicole price fights. You know what I mean I know we have Nico Mak. He's fighting again against The Sunday Luca he lost Adarsh joke. I want to say that was twenty seventeen October. Twenty seventy so. I was going over kind of watching some old Some old Nico Price fight gradually no no no. I don't always watch the winds either. I watched the lewke fightback. I remember the fight but I wanted to really. I really wanted to watch it again. Like in full and I also went back and watched the Abdulrazak Hassan fight like usually watch guys losses because for some reason the wind. Stand out more. I don't know why I remember more. But he's a fun guy to watch me and nego price is a fun guy to watch whether he wins or loses. He's always always in a fight. Always a rematch. I'm really looking forward to there was supposed to other people and the fact that they're fighting again. I mean look. It's not a title fight a lot of times you wouldn't see a rematch like this and less Extraordinary circumstances and I'm glad they're fighting again. I watch I went back and I watched it last night. And that's what Nico was undefeated. When he first Buddha visit they look was. He was undefeated at the time. I literally just watched it. And he was in the fight in the beginning but Lucas started picking him apart and then he got him in a very tight dark joke and and practically put detached right away. It must have been on super tight. Yeah I wanNA see something more reasons so I watch his last fight nickel bryce verse James Vick and James Vicks Avenue. How hard time as of lately you know but I mean but again. That was an easy opponent. And he's so unorthodox that and since then shook my head that they both tasted defeat. Since then. Like you know Vincent they went on a hair at only to get you know best. Buy wonderboy which could beat the best of them. You know his smile and then again that was. It showed a lot of hard fight because he was. I was mistreat. I fight but one the boy they locate. It was no wait. Maybe you're right. I'm sure you're okay. I've seen it but I I remember just I man it was wonderboy. He's just masterful united he. He makes the best guys the best considered as a killer. You know but it's a totally different fight. I WanNa hear because I'd had to face is before in the past that I that I before you know I've bought like three guys twice. Showed he Carter Chris? Lytle the only ones university. There's no one else you twice. Just those two. You're right you're right you don't WANNA mention Joyce NPR STA- brought up the rematch. The other day I know I am all turtle'll getting me that's all right. I I went back and watch the first fight again recently on the anniversary or the day after the anniversary it was just so good. It was such a good moment. Bring me back. You'll makes me happy Jimmy. You and my Ninja Turtle. Oh of course I mean what else would you have espresso it? Yeah I guess that's Nice. It's a nice way to have coffee. Hey Real quick before we get before you Brian Mitchell on the phone this card if it goes through the Ferguson Gigi so Hudo Dominick Cruz. Is They Komen. Amanda Nunez Felicia Spencer. And I'm so happy. That in Ghana Josie Rosen. Strike is happening. Sironi pettus. Jeremy Steve's Calvin Cater Greg Hardy no hold on hold on. I'm sorry Sironi Pettus Donald throaty. I Anthony Pettis. That's all that's on the night. That's that's That's the tentative card. Yeah I heard that. Yeah that is again for now but these things change change and this is finalised talking about that. I. I haven't heard anybody. Is Greg Hardy Against York into Castro? Data fight I really want to see. The Castrol. Upgrade is last Last time out. And you know Greg. Hardy is is improving. I'm you know what we Dean Thomas on it to get an update Greg Hardy but Dean Thomas has always come on and and I believe he's still. I wonder. Could Greg WanNa leave with Dean Thomas? I was famous departure of Office for eight hundred. That's right have we had. We've had greg hardy on. I think he he really. He likes to fight me and he's fights often. He fights more often than most other words. I can picture like out of a scene out of Jerry. Maguire Dean Thomas. He leaves the office with. What's his name? Dan Lambert okay. Who's comic back but listen you know what I'm using my face though? What the problem is we? I love manscaping and I'm using it but I couldn't find that the one for the face of usable lawnmower face the crop duster all right. So you're you're you're using it on your balls and your face or your balls are just not being kept up. Sure it's cleaned out. GotTa keep a special my lady. Are you liking unshaven? Do you feel comfortable. I don't like it. I like vice-like neat. You know kids like it though. They probably like this new. And it's different talking. We hope worlds are colliding. Which face right now. You said you liked the way they'd like to play with your spirit food me and my wife and I was saying I like to keep especially when talking about double-o than you like he's not my face. Everybody loves it. Except for my oldest. She's I clean right. I usually like to be Jimmy. You give me subtle hints about the facial. Your good friend of Mine Jimmy. I could tell I could tell you not a big fan marine ahead without the because you see I am up top yeah. I'm not not a fan though I'm getting used to. It looks better now than it did earlier in the week because it looks more purposeful now earlier in the week when someone doesn't shave for three or four days you can't tell if they're just on a binge or you know or or if they do sloppy. I use the lawn mower but there's no now it looks more like a trimmed decision and let me tell you the manscaping facial. I've got to when they call the face I find it. They take out the loan more. Well the crop dust I forget what the funny names but I've been using it out on my face and I tell you I think it's great. I think it looks Kinda Neat. Not Meet like in meat nosing NEAT and clean. I've been actually spending more time on fight like I told you I did this morning. I want to watch like fucking five fights winning. You did. Yeah while they get brace Mitchell the phone I think. Price controls road to have the first car of the night and correct and then Luca in new price. Second Jock. Array Araya Hall Carla Esparza. Michelle Waterson is a good fight. All allow receiver. Doom is a great fight. You know this. This card is amazing. I mean the one if there's any advantage to this whole thing but if there's any good part of it all these amazing fights from other cards or getting thrown together and you getting a couple of fights that probably we would not have had like Gigi and Ferguson as well as Lou Gehrig Nico Price Rematch. I don't think these guys would afford again unless there was a possible number one spot or potential title fight solvent. But you know what's interesting is that he was said visit. They look a was set to Radi Brown and really brown all always doing phenomenal is looking like a absolute bee's lately and I was looking forward to that fight he did end up losing to Nico price with that weird that album hammerfest from his all right from the bottom right right right and he had to any knocked out vic that way to is there was an uptick is how he'd be. He's one to office back like that. is never.

"Stay until we're one arm one. I you know. We'll get out there. I think Dan after the fight I went and talked to him. I was like look. I'm sorry if I yelled or Saturday I was like you know I was just excited but I understand thank you. Yeah they are looking out for and that was why Mario Yamasaki got so much. I hope I'm saying is less incorrect. Where Dana game so much because of the catch word against Valentina where he was like I'm lending warriors be warriors. And it's like you're supposed to protect them from their own instincts brain cells. It's true you know fight that I always thought it would be interesting is before the other night I was Nico Price and I always think about him for his Yego Sanchez. Would would it be an interesting fight but then now I right I mean I wanna get your take on that before the fight that we just witnessed a lot last week with him and Michelle Pereira. Michelle Michelle PAT it. I said his list right before that before that you would. Would you agree with me? It would be. I would be sight to see you diego but the waiting four. Talk to me weird so weird like he wasn't doing anything he wasn't like really initiating my you didn't use any of his wrestling which is how he would have beat the guy who jumps and he can't do is jump and stuff what do you what's he gonNa do to you even think about it. I mean listen you gotta take you at Muslim beef ahead. We're GONNA get him in a second that guys. We don't have pets him now. But what the fuck what about what about nickel price? Verse Fucking Joe Pereira. That is so hilarious because I was offered him down. All why wanted. Jeff Neal I said come on Man. Let me get somebody like somebody. Who's a fucking really fast? Sorry my language yes. Okay say suck. Yeah I WANNA hardcore motherfucker comes yeah. We knows hard game jeff and I was like lessing. Hey I lost that fight but that fight is my favorite bite. Really get to someone knocked down. Come on and talk so hard. We both felt it was fun. We will watch you two before. It was a fun scrap man and it made me so much more comfortable in there and the ten means fight. Iliad Tim on the other day to That was such an entertaining and it was obvious you loved it because you showed them a lot of respect. And you're you're you're really landing on them. And then his left started doing a lot of damage it was back and forth and then you drop them without right. I. But he's a great case of what a veteran does when he's hurt like he was able to because I think you should have put him away sooner if life was fair but he's so good he was able to actually held you off and get a hold of you. It took me down and then he held me there long enough to recover. They got back. Let me up. And he started teasing me up for a little bit but then I found my rhythm beginning. Caught him bumble. And what did you say when I'm like dazed? It's so weird. Why is that? Because you're thinking a little bit less than just your instinct is probably just more instinct. Yeah you're a fun guy to watch have you. You've not been to a third round yet. Not See I think I've barely made it to a second round around the city now. Does that obviously? You Know Your Cardio and I'm sure you have excellent cardio but does that ever concern you like like Wha- steep a Fort Francis and all the sudden he was able to take him very deep it as well the guys Mike. You're tired have you have you? Are you a little about that? Come get some funny. I'm pretty sure it was below Muhammad Blouse a good dude. He was on and we were talking about fights and I think he was talking we were talking about Nico Price. And he's like out what the guy is a weird dude the train for because I think one of the trainers was like no. We don't want that guys. How do you train for that guy? He's hard to kick is to mimic. What WOULD NICO doesn't it? Where are you nico out of the? Damn Trust okay. I'm at the fresh market against some lunch after boxing. No my brother. He just got surgery on his knee. Check see how he's doing. Shit man has nationally and stretching session the night at the House. And you're on April the eleventh while you still here because we keep dropping at finite one thirty two in Portland fighting Muslim and the amazing thing. That's that's Walt Harris's return to fight over him. So that's that's a big night. I know a lot of people even. If you like over him. You WanNa see Harris at least have a good fight and be successful one hundred percent. I mean Harris I harrison ears man since before I was in the AFC over American top team. I may be a lot of great people over there. That's part of the blessings of going to that school. Is You get a lot of very champion. Learn little trip and parents man is always happy. Good guy and I hurt goes out for him and his family and we talked to you briefly about Diego just in general. I want to ask you about. Do you understand how our some guys caught up. You think where things aren't going their way and they meet somebody in that person makes them feel like they can do anything and how they can kind of get caught following one person as opposed to a team. Yeah so I understand that but I'm also in the same boat as Diego because I also let my teams. I left American top team and I left the team that I actually created. I helped create futures. So now I'm sort of like a Lonestar and train multiple gyms. So it's possible to do it but you have to have the right mindset in not too distant Diego Diego's one of my all time favorites but Diego's been fighting for so long then. It becomes a health issue like he has to start thinking of his health. Because I've also heard him talking before so you know like we all got time in and the only one undefeated father time and God so good luck with that and you said you're bouncing around a little bit is there any is at any way. Make you feel a little bit like disconnected. What what are the advantages? And what are the disadvantages to balancing around like that? I really don't have any disadvantages that I have now because I've created atmosphere around me I don't let negativeness in the second negative and this is here goodbye. You won't hear from me again and so I just I everything around these positive you know and like I said the second you start getting negative or something gets crazier. Something goes wrong look man. I'm sorry but if you're affecting my mental state that's the biggest part of me. Is My mental sir. Mess that up. Then you're messing with my career. Saw Him out word. I wish you man. I hate negatively Jimmy. I fucking training like being a good person. It's a really big part of it too bad. I'm not the best person like you know I try to I try to live a good life a godly life and I try to be an example for my kids and I try to do. I do try to buy the book so like anything that ever comes out. Negative about me is polaris like because I do. I try to be the Best Person Pasta. I walk around with smiles on my face like The sport confuses me because. Dude we're in the AFC. We made what we we've been trying to grind and for Half the time. These dudes look so angry so pissed at life like they hate themselves and their you. You've seen in that over there. Like to step in and dancing in the middle of a street right now look you in the cage in the cage. To CAGE IS THE ONLY TIME. I feel normal. I I feel like a wack job people look at me funny but when I'm GonNa go get them through me. They might still look at you. Funny fight is fucking awesome. Though in a good way in a you're you're a unique Guy Nico price and that's a good thing. You know what I mean because you don't have to you don't have to and you're good on the Mike you know why because you yourself. You're not trying to be anybody. Different people can see that and the way you fight. You could be actually should on Mike and you'd still get a lot of fans 'cause you're either an exciting dude man. You know say good anti. I'll say Muslim men. How despite that would him because this is no? I've been smashed in the twitter instagram. You wanted to get a fight. I need something hungry. It didn't matter who doesn't matter I'm a Wolf Rauma dog. Hey all I know is whenever they see my name on that list they better be fucking training. Michigan Football Chatter: Nico Collins and Donovan Peoples-Jones might come back to the team
"Niko Collins down of peoples' Jones there's a lot of rumors are some good vibes out there that both of these guys might come back after treat black just announced late last week that he was he was going to enter the transfer portal and of any schools have been associated with him yeah I know a lot of people started following him on Twitter but in that same vein nickel Collins and down hills Jones some reports out there that here they would like to come back for their senior year Zack and if you've heard anything like that but what we'll talk about here is if they get both of them back what that could mean for Michigan football in two thousand twenty means a lot right it's ME builder baby to their their five most dangerous players on the team L. Collins actually played up to statistically people Jones I thought was big in some key spots but maybe didn't find it I mean that's that's what it came down to is their draft grade we just we're going over the CVS draft maybe we did it during a break instead of on the show but calling the people Jones were what fourth and fifth round picks I don't yeah I was surprised by how low they were you know I'm a big I'm a big believer in go when someone will pay you because you know life is short in the NFL but at same time you're twenty twenty one and you come back and improve your stock yeah I I'd say more power to you because you have that opportunity will be interesting to see what they actually do because I think it would be a testament to what they believe the quarterback passing game situational be like next year if they think that they can move up in the draft with another year what I don't know someone asked me on Twitter you know what they could they wait until the fifteen ball practices are done and get a feel for Joh Milton or don't McCaffrey and I would bet that at this point they they probably know I mean either one of these guys is supposed to get the starting job in the bowl game I mean they're going to go out there and treat this like the final game of two thousand nineteen not the first came in two thousand twenty and preparing themselves for next year and so you know if they don't know already what what Joh Milton until McCaffrey are I don't think that's gonna change and bull crap here but I do agree with you I I do think that is a a kind of a connection to this if you decide to come back you're not coming back if you think like man V. the quarterback room and the passing game is gonna regress considerably here because all you're really come back for is if you think that the last three or four games when they were both being targeted you know six and seven times a game and have an opportunity to catch five balls a game if that's consistent what's gonna be next year now you can put up those bigger numbers now you can catch the eye of more scouts and so yeah I would think that be a very positive sign for mission of both those guys come back for the quarterback room and also for obviously the wide receivers I mean we're already you know everybody's really excited about Ronnie bell and the rise of Josh Jackson like senior still you had these two guys in there and what you know that I mean if you're Joe motor Joe McCaffrey said yourself like all like you know we're in the red zone I'm I have a tough time finding open perceiver Hey I can just check the ball to the corner nickel counts gonna go get it how much is that help a young quarterback my goodness yeah in the end they can get better still I don't think it's out of the question that in how people Jones and Colin they missed a lot of spring practice they missed a lot of summer practice I I don't know their health situation I don't I don't know enough but I imagine it would be healthier this year could be and then you build that chemistry bill that report and players get better I a you know it's everyone gets better different speeds but I always laugh when people are like yeah I've heard enough about such and such improving no players improve when they play college football for a long time that's why a lot of you know there's not too many freshmen who are the best players in the country you start to see it more now but usually it's the juniors and then the easy casual senior but it's it's the it's a big deal it would be it would significantly pollster Michigan's offense of potential it would raise some questions because you how do you use them do you still go pass first even if you're changing quarterbacks but I think it would be a net positive for Michigan some players should not come back there are some players and more so in other teams that I notice in Michigan where they come back in it and I think both sides kind of regret it because there's not a lot of you know it's a you're you're thinking about the NFL too much or the chemistry is off with some of your new teammates I think both of these guys I mean if they're if they're said to come back I think it's a it's a big win for Michigan Brandon if if these guys come back amber Thomas is expected to come back we pay last night at the show me awards said that he expects to come back if all these guys that could have I know we look at this list last week I think it was on your hosting day the six players who are all eligible to go pro all of them came back does that saying anything about what they think Michigan football could be in two thousand twenty yeah I think that's fair I mean are you know if they've got a chance well some of it does come down to the whole draft great thing too I mean if these guys are thinkin of animal finally you know realize my dream and go pro and then they get a draft grade back of like fourth or fifth round that might be a little bit of a you know a little bit of a blow to the ego and also just a just a dose of reality like okay I'm not me maybe I'm not quite as good as I thought and I can prove it I can prove that I am better than this by coming back so I think it's there's probably several factors but I certainly think that's one of a might like these guys want to win they're not gonna come back if they think they're going to be worse than they were this year that they have no chance of meeting Ohio state or that they have no chance of possibly making it to the playoffs like I think that certainly factors in this is big time college football they came to Michigan for a reason and they want to win and I certainly think that when you're as talented as Michael Collins and out of people's own our they're probably thinking like okay they could be pretty good next year and we come back we can be really good that maybe we like it also out of his car arrogance our confidence or cockiness or whatever you want but they know that they're making the team better so why not come back and try to take it to another level another year and Josh gad as a system from everything I've heard players tend to like Josh gad as I know he's pretty hard core on the sidelines he gets in guys faces but I think everybody also respects and he's a younger guy he's a really he's a really detail oriented coach I feel like he thinks players think that he's getting them better I think there's a lot to it but I don't I think I think it does speak to like where Michigan is a maybe wear those guys think they could be next year and I I think you got it I think you got a look between the lines a little bit and maybe realize it like they look there think in those two quarterbacks if you're pretty damn good we saw it we think with another year like it could be special with them I think that's got to be part of what they're thinking about yeah absolutely I mean if you can if if if you told me going Donovan Hey what we did the last three games we're gonna do that over twelve games next year and they had now have evidence and they can believe it and you've got some else tell you like Hey you're you're projecting great right now is third or fourth round I mean to me unless it's an easy decision because you're still given up you know some money but are you are you but you gotta put on the best position to be successful the next level and I think they'll be coming back see the reason the CBS sports things also a project to pick like a sixth round pick an obscene somethings I have them all a first round pick the good news is for these guys is that they have much more trusted sources like telling them what projections are verses like that just going up the randomness of every sports website out there I'll say this too in in Donovan people Jones and eco Collins cases specifically if they come back and

"Hello and welcome. I'm nick. And this is moving up a podcast about secrets to success struggles along the way and life in general three in the pod Niko from general catalyst Niko is an incredibly interesting guy. And this is a special conversation. That's both enlightening in motivating. I know you're going to enjoy it. It's incredible. How? A product or idea changes over time. Well, it does at least if you work hard and allow the universe to help shape. Your thoughts ideas and decision-making I've learned that evolving, the idea actual product just the way that you describe what you're building it needs to change and grow, and it's the job of the leader to push the thinking along that path challenge it and also get the world to challenge it take my podcasting ideas, I saw an unmet need in the market while I was in business school and then set out to deliver engaging content around these topics. Okay. Great. So I made a little business plan and got the podcast going. Now. It's pretty nice it's growing, and it makes it a little bit of money. But what I have here is just sort of a passion project my business plan and deck. They've never really evolved, which is fine. But the podcast is not going to put a dent in the world compare that to pay club. We have two hundred ninety seven versions of our investor deck now. Even sometimes from week to week, we incorporate new information what we're learning from our users or in conversations with investors adapting to what the market is saying refining our thinking improving how we communicate that with the world..

"But that in the wake of that though that leaves you guys without her insight or without the support of that. You know, it's like here you provide your our mom our whole lives. And this is this is how we know you as our mom and then. Also, I don't wanna make a weird. But if anyone needs to cry I cry every episode also, no expectation to crooks, pickles, new cry. I cried no one be weird about it. Of course. Wow. So this is why I think it's fascinating. Because here you like, and he'll okay, I have to learn to pause more just. I'm I'm pausing. Okay. I love you do. Yeah. This is so interesting because I think so you are twenty men 'cause gleaning this episode people like, oh, how like that's really intense. Like how old are they win? She passed away. And I was like God, I think like fourteen fifteen so this was actually much later in my memory, and you're right like Niko fourteen. Okay. Yeah. I was like I think was. Seventeen thousand four who's age or you closest to? Oh, so you so it was happening when you were. Yeah. Team fifteen. Yeah. Nineteen. Can I ask you? What were you aware of that? I don't think I was wearing anything. And actually, I think I may have seen your mom wearing a scarf at lane, some family gathering or something. But and my parents were like, oh, she's like not feeling..

"Welcome. Nico. Hi, I'm Dr. Hi, it's great. Great. Great to have you here. And let's talk about the fact that there are a lot of people out there in the US especially who are having problems with weight in a lot of it is it seems to me that we eat too many times. We eat too much. Each time we eat sitting down, we eat lying down. We eat doing all the wrong things. We don't make good food choices. Let's start off by saying that. I'm glad that you are the person that you are in wanna know a little bit about how you got to be interested in fitness and nutrition. Great question. Well, thank you for having me has my pleasure. I heard so many great things about you and. New show. Thank you. Of course. So my story begins about ten to go. I more and try. I struggle with the race myself a little bit, but things seemed to escalate once a move here. And when I think back it all started when I dot tink what is it? Because American diet, I started eating called breakfast, cereal for breakfast. Solid. All kinds of fat regressing in my rates are going up.
2018 NFL training camp preseason players to watch
"A few more days of practice Head of them still and the latest is Anthony Costanzo and the way that coach. Reich kinda describes the injury to Costanzo is Oh it he had it and he's got it back and he's gonna There's. Gonna be some rest right he's gonna. Need a little bit of time. It's as vague as. Anything, out. There I'm wondering about Costanza 's future tell me I'm wrong Yeah Tony I I don't know about in terms of long term but I think. It's something to monitor the, rest? Of the that it'd be the first injured. Hamstring about two weeks before training camp. Started and then re tweaked it. During Friday night practice It's. Been really really durable NFL career he's only miss three games, maybe since his rookie season it's eleven and he looked, at positions on the colts. Roster and talk about depth I think left tackle might be, the most bear and unproven position on the roster so Dongo's bend your left tackle for the last seven years and he's going to miss a little bit of. Time, and, that, is very vague and maybe he doesn't play the, rest of the pre season but you would think just a tweaking of a hamstring he would be able to go by the regular season opens up here in a little over a month So you don't see it as a serious thing when you take a, look at the injuries that he had last year No, he was hoping last year two years ago think or maybe even the year before that when he was heard so I I don't. Think it's anything to fret over long term why. This is a guy that has been extremely extremely durable in bell career That guy wanting the, blind side of you know Through that awful twenty eleven so you end up through Angeles early. Years in these past couple of years as well I don't think it's anything that. It's a reoccurring injury that happened for several years maybe came back a little bit too soon, from that hamstring injury and and he openly. Admitted he kinda. Over trained in the off season so rest stuff you don't. Need a Santa Costanza in the month of August you need to see some of these other guys play left tackle in case this does become a lingering issue talking to. Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan dot com that's where you go to get all of. His latest on what's going on a training camp one of the things I noted is that when it comes to running back where, a little bit, of everywhere and nowhere on here we've, got MAC I think people are happy with him. But you, need a, little bit of that day Angela shoulder maybe better, but he still needs to hand off the ball who is he handing off to and, what are we seeing a lot of young guys Tony with Robert Turbin suspended for the first, four games James Andrew lock arguably I think the top three running back to the roster none, of them have, played with lock when you talk about, Marlin MAC going into the second season the mid. Rookies and, I am, highs and Jordan Wilkins as well and Jim Irsay, had quite hyperbole on Friday night saying that he thinks Marlee Matlin rush for fifteen hundred, yards this season I don't know if anyone in for Is He has his, bell Donald Trump of, sports just don't let them tweet Did he tweet which one was it he said it yeah. Said that we have three hundred and fifty yards rushing all last year so that's that's quite the jump for the second year back and especially. On the colts have said they want to be running back by committee so I think there are some young pieces to work with with MAC and what Jordan Wilkins the fifth round pick, out of night's camp, and I kind of bored More of a hybrid player probably help you out on special teams maybe a wide out as well so that's really really. Unproven and when roster cuts happen and the end of August you know you might be a decision that you look for more of a, more of a veteran objects I. Do think there, is something. To work with their but if the group they just, hasn't proved, themselves on the NFL level quite yet as you see it so far as in training camp Who is the player that we should be looking at and who's the player who you think is causing the most concern But I. Think a player that's really, surprises then the Niko Autry new defensive lineman signed from Oakland this past season. Back in March, I think one of the I think it was the first free, agent signing, McColl patio in, twenty eighteen and you know when you're talking about quit Nelson and how dominant the rookies ban, you know in full pads the guy that have occasionally been Autry and. The colts need some help with this new four three Friday and, Autry I think could be kind of a nice surprise I. Think that a guy that you feel, good about concern standpoint I'd probably go back into the secondary and go Quincy Wilson the second round pick some last year Who figure to be. Maybe the number one cornerback a corner in. General I think as a physician group that hasn't had a lot of play making here. In the first couple of, weeks at grand park and they're rotating a lot of bodies there doesn't look. Like many documents, in terms of starters and that group so they need Quincy Wilson, to a, merge because you, spent a second round pick on them you know we know full well how valuable corners are, today that I Sal and the colts just don't have a lot to. Work with with that you know kind of really a it's of, your top four corners I would say three of them are..
