So you're starting to see these moves in Europe track these moves in the United States just a really soft backdrop Tom for sovereign bonds yields up bonds down. And that's the change that brilliantly captures the angst out there about it slipping away. And John we saw that I was in the surveillance nap yesterday and you know what it's just blunt. Forget about the equity short squeeze baloney. The fact is it slipped away yesterday. Are we going to see that again today off this 8 .30 data in 12 minutes? Candidates are really just trying to tell voters who they are still and all together if they combine forces into one big candidate they'd still be at only 30 % polls. in the So I think their frustration is that they can't break through the Trump cloud and I think that's what's driving a lot of the instability and they definitely went off track last night. Is the Trump cloud affecting the shutdown due this weekend. Absolutely When you look at the 45 members of the Freedom Caucus 10 of whom are really By being this shutdown right now the sense I get from staff on Capitol Hill and their view is that this is effectively McCarthy versus Trump and McCarthy is going to lose that fight every single time. Trump So is basically saying if you shut down the government it's very akin to what he said during a debate or a town hall presentation he made during the debt ceiling debate. I'm not president now I so don't care what you do shut the government down default on our debt and they're saying all right fine we'll do that. And he conflates it with defunding the Department of Justice which will end his poor indictment proceedings. A lot of folks on the Hill believe that Donald Trump is the arbiter of whether or not the Freedom Caucus can vote to the keep government open and if that's so then they will never vote for a CR, they will never vote for an package and they will never vote to keep the government open. If that's the case Henrietta and the government does shut down does the former election. Trump bear the blame in the public size? I don't think in the public size I think that's a little bit nuance to ask. The public disproportionately does blame Republicans but Trump ranks third in polling on that and just beneath that is everybody. You heard that from Chris Christie a lot last night and I didn't think it was an unfair criticism. Everybody's to blame in this but the Republicans and in particular McCarthy and his lack of ability to call a spade a spade recognize that you're never going to get the votes from those Freedom Caucus members and move forward in the way democracy is designed with a Democratic majority in Senate the and pass legislation that is your job. It is the job function at the basis level. McCarthy's refusing to make that choice so far. I believe there's still a window of time for him to make that choice tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. As y 'all know 72 hours in DC is a lifetime and that's what we're heading into as one particularly eloquent client put it yesterday we're at the crest of the wave right now and I think that's accurate. What do you think the chances Henrietta are of Kevin McCarthy being the house speaker in a month. I think they're high because I think the motion to vacate is bogus. I don't think that the Freedom Caucus has the votes to eject the speaker and I have constantly been in communication with Democratic staff who are more than willing to hold their nose and vote present or to table the motion which will be in and of itself embarrassing to McCarthy but the bottom line is the Freedom Caucus doesn't have enough votes to eject McCarthy so I'd love to see them as I said last time I'd love to see the motion to vacate hit the floor and fail and then we can maybe break the fever and move forward. And that image of him bombing out in the champion chase last year was stuck in, it was just edged into the three of our minds, and I'm sure for the vast majority of our listeners as well, and the difference between him in the Ryanair and him at Asuka's when we put him up was he was 11 to four for ask us. Now he's even money. And that's the problem with him. That's how you can't trust him. It's not that he can't win. It's that if he's always going to be an artificially short price, like his last 5 runs. He's been four to 9 5 to 6, 6 to 5 on 6 to 5, two to one Alaska. Let's throw in the festival as well. Now great to see a good hearts like that come back from the hits like and he did. And just to mention for French dynamite I thought he ran a blinder back and forth as well. He did in the early stages and finished four just beating the neck behind hitman and two behind shishkin and gets nearly a career best for him. Is that what it is? The best he's had in the recent couple of years, any of you saw how he ran quite well. Yeah, good show. And you wouldn't rule him out for a handicap there. You know, if he came back, you know, he's probably not quite a great Warner, but there is a big race in him as a big handicap. He's only an 8 year old, and he's quite likely race. I think it's, I think it's one of those things him and Keenan Woods are obviously sort of sharing the job and humans had a lot of injuries and then Luca is obviously one on a few of the horses and Caitlin's come back and they're now Luke's rides. It's not there's nothing against the jockey, I don't think it's just one of those things that happens. We've had it before. Gary's where sort of Joshua Jamie will be injured and then someone gets on really well with a horse and you don't get your ride back. It's just part and parcel of the games now. Yeah. Look that is part of it. And that's one of the big things we don't want to go into it, but the big thing about the whip bands, that when a jockey is ruled out for a couple of weeks, even a few days, that can be the difference between keeping a ride and the owner is striking up a bond with a new jockey. There's two long journeys from a juvenile, especially if he's a bit of a shifty target. He buys him a lot. He took me. And they're quite alert. So I wouldn't say that necessarily. Badly behaved. They're very switched on. And if he's not traveling well, he's an exile who can't horse as well. So he probably is a bit a bit buzzy. That's actually the next part I'll use because there used to be a statistic that I absolutely loved. Triumph hurdle winners, the most likely winner of the horse that would have the best chance was an ex Aga Khan bread racehorse. Exactly. And it's interesting because with this allege. I shouldn't even say ledge but like you know. The story is that when he was fifteen. There was a young lady by the name of jennifer huff. And she says she was on her way to school and kevin kevin approached her with a knife in her back and was like come with me and allegedly like sexually assaulted her. And you know from the moment that it happened. She went to school. She told the police the police got involved and he was charged and convicted and did time and a part of the plea do that. He took was that for the rest of his life. He has to register as a sex offender and it gets a little bit more complicated. Once he got with nicki minaj. And with nick nash becomes wealth and becomes ability to travel like he was able to try before and when there which was pregnant had their son i believe they had in california and he was living in california and he did not registering california. You so that just kind of started this legal drama with nikki and her husband now throughout that there have been countless blogs that have been reporting on this young lady named jennifer and recently as like last week jennifer and her attorney filed a lawsuit against nikki massage for directly and indirectly intimidating. Her and i believe that charges that out just want to read the actual charges. What is the of course. I can't find it. But i was prepared to speak or no a no stalking and harassment now jennifer alleges that nikki directly indirectly reached out to her and basically offer twenty thousand dollars to recant. Her statement not only offer twenty twenty thousand dollars and a cameo video for her daughter with niki. Massaging happy birthday. Oh girl and so. This is the legend court documents. And so at the time jennifer says she actually had a phone conversation with nikki. Nikki was like hey. I heard that you want to help our situation and wants to recant. The story allegedly jennifer's like nikki. I need for you to know that this actually happened. And through that jennifer alleges that then nicky massages camp got in contact with jennifer brother. And you know how sometimes family ancient and offer the brother in the family. Five hundred thousand dollars for her to recant her state me and you know. I don't know whether or not if the brother actually like somewhere entertained this but you know jennifer has been sticking her story like i am not going to recant my statement. This is something that happens to me whether or not you believe it or not. This is something that happened to me. Jennifer also alleges that. She's had to move several times due to the barbs and people that she believes that is associated with nicki minaj. Harassing her coming to her home. And you know. I i believe that i also know that there was on queen radio. Maybe like a year ago nikki. Manashe went or queen radio and really kind of like charged. Barbs up telling cabins side of the story. Basically saying that you know jennifer cabin were a couple and that they had this dispute and then she alleged that she was sexually assaulted and that you know they just took her side of the story. And that you know. Kevin didn't have seven thousand dollars at the time to get an appropriate lawyer alleged because they're from the hood who has seven thousand dollars and like this is just a a misuse of the criminal justice system and so from there. Of course not barbs are like you know how to barbs. Are they like the behind. They don't play and so there have been relentless online at tax jennifer questioning her character. And all of this other stuff and she alleges that like you know she has had to move several times. And i just for me i feel i. I understand nicki does your husband. You stick beside them but at the same time like here. This lady has. Her story has never changed. Like you know your husband was arrested and convicted of this. And i just feel like where is the empathy like the fact that like you. Nail want hurts. Who recant her story. Offensively to make your life easier so now that you and your husband can travel as you somewhat please. And the fact that like your husband doesn't have to register as a sex offender. It just like i don't know for me. It's just like girl the privilege of you to like. You wanna make this go away. So you're offering money to this young lady and not only you only started with twenty thousand dollars like you've got millions of dollars and this is what you are. Essentially when offer this young lady to for to basically for her to say that. I'm a right like if she lies now than all the other things that she said are gonna come into question. So why would you want her sassanian her own character for a measly twenty gay just so that your ashes husband can stroll where he pleases. It's one thing for for you to be a relationship with this man because some time has passed maybe he's grown as a person even though the bar the standard would be low to begin with like. I don't know how much growing someone has to do. In order for them not to realize that it's not okay to sexually assault people but there is one thing for you to be involved with this man but it's hardly different thing for you to go around and ask this woman to essentially lie about something. May she's been consistent with four years way before you even were with this man and for why for what you were the person you should have done your vetting. You should on your proper vetting to be like if i get involved with somebody. I need to mention that this person. That'll be perfect. I'm not saying people can't have in past for this is definitely something that needs to be you need to. You should have had a conversation about this a long time ago away longtime ago and if it was going to be worth it for you to sit here because now look now you got people who dragging uses the mud because of your actions you purposefully took you involve yourself in this. It's not even like you tried to remain neutral party. You involve yourself in this. You talk to this lady. You offered her a cameo and cl- looking into making knowledge. I mean i love you. Our voices and to maybe give some people some laughs but also like educate people and kinda just be channels. I'm like this is what i'm feeling right now. And just like kind of like everyone's kinda going insane and just kinda laugh at it but so that's how we created it. We did season one. It went so well we created season. Two i would love. I would love to extend of off of said so. The reason why couples therapy was actually started. Was we had a there. And this is the thing right like i was raised. My my mom always introduced me to a lot of different things that were a cultural and educational and funny like carol burnett lucille ball. And i've always fed as soon as soon as i met. I'm like you're the next in line. Like i showed her carol burnett. I'm like that's you. you're funny you're talented. You bring people together. The world needs that funny woman. One of the big political stories last week, at least on a national level on continuing this week was the vote over the creation of a commission to study the events of January 6 35. House Republicans voted in favor of it, including the two freshmen here, Maria Elvira Salazar and Carlos Jimenez. The feeling is the vote will fall just a handful short of 60 in the Senate. Both senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott of Florida come out against the idea. Why not start this commission of doing a little bit of research? I believe there were already seven investigations. Going on on the events of 9 11 when the 9 11 Commission was created, Why not the same for this? Well, I think there can be a commission many and I think that still time I heard Susan Collins, senator from Maine speak about it this weekend, and I agree with her comments so long is the staff can be a point fairly meaning. There's the equal number of Republican and Democratic staff so long is that this commission doesn't drag on into next year or Democrats will just use it as an election year and point I think they can get it done if they can't get it done. That means that the Democrats won't agree to equal staff and won't agree to finish it by the end of this year. I think both of those things can happen if both sides want to work together. The thing we also have to be mindful of two is that there's another ongoing criminal investigation of people who participated in the events of January 6th and the one thing that this commission needs to do if it In fact, it's Installed, said that he did not mess that up. I mean, there's that's an ongoing criminal investigation. I think you're gonna start seeing prosecutions before the end of the year. Is that even possible senator to have set up a commission like this? Like the 9 11 Commission on have it be in a bipartisan, non political manner in this day and age that given the way politics are in D C today, I don't know if it could be not political, because that's what Congress is. It's a political institution. My hope is that they can put something together. That makes sense for both sides. Potentially pushed her into the Senate race, which I do not think was her first choice. And she's got a good record for someone. He just briefly served in Congress, so she will be a legitimate real candidate for the Democrats. The question, I think very, the young. It's a big place with now almost 23 million people. And it's tough to get around. Introduce yourself to that many people in this short of a time and can. She also raised the money It's going to take. You know tens of millions of dollars to win this race if she's going to hope to be Successful, so those really the big questions and then how people viewing the economy.
