"Debates, polls, ads, they're all coming at voters of one thing remains true. The economy and inflation are top of mind. Our latest tally of the early vote totals, according to various elections officials, Edison research, and catalyst, more than 7 million votes have already been cast across 39 states where we have data from with just two weeks to go before election day, an electorate that remains very engaged in this midterm season. President Joe Biden made the trek across town from The White House to the Democratic National Committee headquarters today to offer up this to staff and volunteers. 15 days, we're going to make a choice about whether we go forward or backwards. Is that practical? We just need to vote. Get out the vote. And if we do, I truly believe, we're just getting started. Now these early vote numbers need to be read with some caution because it's just a partial picture. We won't know until election day, how many people show up to vote in person on the big day itself. So this is a partial picture of the early vote, but in some places, it is shattering records. We are preparing now for a midterm election that could have turnout at the record setting levels that existed four years ago at the 2018 midterm elections. And we have some brand new CNN polling conducted by SSRS in three critical battleground states. These are the state's formerly known as the blue wall. You remember? Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin. Three states that Donald Trump won in 2016, sort of how he won The White House and that Joe Biden flipped in 2020, sort of restoring that blue wall that Donald Trump broke through. These critical states will no doubt play a role in which party controls the United States Senate. After this election season, that is because in two of them, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, those are the states where currently Republican held seats are being defended and Democrats see the potential for their best opportunities there to actually increase their numbers in the Senate to pad their majority or worst case scenario to pick up these Republican seats as a bit of an offset to some of their own seats that they may lose in places that have tough contests like in Georgia, Nevada, Arizona. In Pennsylvania, our new CNN poll shows among likely voters that John fetterman, the democratic lieutenant governor, has a slight edge over Republican medals, 51% to 45% among likely voters in Wisconsin, there is no clear leader. It is a race that is well with it the polls margin of error, there we have 50% of likely voters backing the Republican incumbent Ron Johnson, 49% of likely voters back his democratic opponent, the lieutenant governor Mandela Barnes. One interesting thing to note in the Pennsylvania results, fetterman has 97% support among Democrats, so he is basically consolidated his entire party behind his candidacy, whereas mehmed Oz has 86% support among Republicans. So the first thing on the Oz to do list is continue to consolidate that Republican vote between now and election day, that may be the path for him to really narrow the gap that he has right now with fetterman. They've got a big one night only debate planned for tomorrow night Tuesday night in Pennsylvania. As for the all important independence, Oz is winning those by 12 percentage points, 54% to 42%, a critical component to keeping him very much within shouting distance of fetterman in this race. And there is consistency across all three of these states in terms of the most important issue to voters. Overwhelmingly, that is the economy and inflation. And here's the deal folks, economy voters are overwhelmingly supporting the Republican candidates. So, of the 44% who say the economy and inflation are most important to their vote in Pennsylvania, those voters split 64% for Oz 32% for fetterman two to one Oz wins economy voters. It's even better for Republicans in Wisconsin, roughly about the same percentage, say, the economy and inflation is most important, and it really is well ahead of abortion rights or democracy or crime and guns, and Ron Johnson is winning with those economy voters, 78% to 21% for Mandela Barnes. And we ask voters in all three states whether the economy is getting better, getting worse or staying the same, more than 6 and ten in each one of these states, say the economy is getting worse. So it's a really sour outlook on issue number one for voters in these three states. So then you may ask, well then why does fetterman the Democrat have a slight edge in a place like Pennsylvania? Well, one I said is because Oz still has more work to do consolidating the Republican vote, but also if you look at their favorable unfavorables, Oz is just not as well liked as fetterman. Not that fetterman is lighting the world on fire, he splits pretty evenly between his favorable and unfavorables, but Oz is pretty significantly upside down. Many more people see him unfavorably than view him favorably. That clearly is having an impact here as well. There's one other finding in our polls that just fascinates me. So we asked folks which factor is playing the biggest role in deciding how they're going to vote in the Senate. Is it a candidate's issue positions? Is it which party will ultimately control the United States Senate, sort of what I call strategic voters? Or is it the character of the candidates? Now, the plurality is in both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, say it's issue positions. 48% of likely voters say that is what their major factor is in deciding their vote in Pennsylvania, 45% say that in Wisconsin. But among those about which party will control the United States Senate is a major factor in deciding their Senate vote, this is so interesting. 27% of likely voters say that's the case in Pennsylvania. And they break pretty significantly for mehmet Oz. He benefits from sort of the strategic voters, if you will. Again, they make up roughly a quarter of the electorate. In Wisconsin, it's a little less, it's 20%, so two out of ten likely voters say they're voting based on which party will control the Senate, but those voters overwhelmingly benefit Mandela Barnes. So each party's benefiting from strategic voters differently in the states, which I find totally fascinating. But as I noted, it is the candidate's positions that are the biggest factors for voters and as we've been talking about for several weeks now, the economy is the biggest of the big issues for voters. And that is why you heard Bernie Sanders make his case over the weekend for Democrats needing to focus on the economy. I think what the Democrats have got to say is we are going to stand with working people. Is the abortion issue important? Yes.

I had listened to alkaline trio in the car before i got there because i needed something kind of a little calming but a little like okay and he was mad that every time i'd get to his ring for that bag drill thing he'd like alkaline he's one of those one of those pumpers that like the less you can understand in the lyrics and in his head like anytime like if it's if it's like pop punk in general goes bubble gum pat like he like and so we'd always go back and forth there some bands. And i was working as a bartender at the time and they were somewhere overseas so they couldn't call me so they sent me an email and i got this email and after i got the email. I'm eating like next door to this bar. I had awesome hotdog place that had barbecue pulled pork on it. And whatever like. I'm just eating. I'm like i didn't get hired i i it's my phone goes off and i see my email and i immediately start running through the bar that i work with with barbecue author. I thought you worked here. And i'm like so. Yeah it was. It was not the most glamorous moment. But yeah i got the email and and i started with them. They wanted me to start. Quick so i just i had. I didn't have a lot of money at the time. And i had this tiny little blue and paula that the windows would roll up and i just shoved everything i possibly could into this impala and drove down to florida and it was the beginning of the beginning. Were you in an xt. For a while. I was only in next for nine months. So i got hired in january shortlist for five years. I again right place right. I actually started on my birthday of january of two thousand seventeen. And then i debuted and again right place right time. They just needed somebody that looked as insane as nikki cross. And that's why debuted on the next week and then shortly after that in november of two thousand seventeen of the same year is when myself live. And sarah debuted and from what i understand. Do you honestly think that if carrying across were to ever come up to may roster particularly the raw brand nicky cross will be able to continue being called nikki cross or is somebody nicky. Cross gonna have to change your name you know. And that had people a little bit divided because they felt that non you know both should be able to keep their respective names but then you had others that fell. That's a really good question. So when i look at the current climate of wwe right now and essentially. We got two guys running around with the guitar. Think about that for a second. We're trying to just spray positively and give people some insightful interviews and all that we weren't looking to get this person fire we were just trying to have a really cool laid back conversation and all that like like what the hell see. That's what happens when you put yourself in a position where alternately inadvertently you have podcasters. That are more concerned about putting themselves out there. Their brand their product and not making sure that their guests are shooting themselves in the fucking foot. I'm not to my own horn. But but there's there's a good circle love us in the podcasting world. Had we been in that position where we would have interviewed knief mobely. We definitely would have said to her. You know hey not for nothing. Little bit concerned about this particular area of the conversation you sure you want this in in the final the final product. You sure you want this in the final mix down before this is released because once this is release wyche that's it. I've had guests many times over the years in the ten plus years that i've been doing this show i've had guests on the show. Were once the interview is over. I say to them. Hey how was that for you you good. How did i go. Oh yeah you know let alone. I remember a handful of times. I would have guessed that would say to me. Do me a favor if you can actually go back. Take out this part. Abou- appreciate it. Because i'm not trying to cause up anything. I'm not trying to stir any shit like okay no problem. I'll take that free no problem yen if you could actually send media. Mp three of what's going to be published that'd be great with that correction deputy great mike. We're not looking for the aha gotcha moments and all that other fucking shit. Good podcast drew widow fucking. Play that interview back. Peaked out some of those points got in contact with her. Let her know what's up in and then at that point. Hey she gave green light. She says she's good. So hey you know we released in offer not. We gave her an opportunity notice. "Yes said once we figure out what's going on with me and my old market research job how we definitely need to see what options are available for me to go back to school and i was always looking to return to school and some type of all online format and then the pandemic happened and i know unfortunately for a lot of people that pandemic age aside sideline of faulk out of folks for me. It definitely gave me a wake up call and said okay. You need to jump ship with your old job. You need to jump ship right now because this company ain't gonna last another six to eight months at this current rate and boy did i call it because i'm glad i jumped ship when i did because about six months. After i left that marketing company. They went under all because of the pandemic and as i made the transition pretty much immediately. When i left into a new job i said to mrs i say you know what now's the time i wanna be comfortable knowing that you know actually have a career. I'm actually following my dreams. I'm doing while. I love to do and you know what. Let's see what we can do about having me go back to school. That's what we did. So you know why that whole thing that whole thing with that with that posts going back to those words going back to those words once again going back to those words once again my face when the government tells me i can do something again that i never stopped doing. I can relate to that because there were some things that i never stopped doing. I never stopped warning better for myself during that whole pandemic. I didn't just take a paul's jobs. All k- we know this pandemic. i said okay. How can i work around this any sensually. Use this to my advantage to give me full here to where i wanna be which over here. That's how i looked at it and that's honestly how a lot of people look at this pandemic as well rob feinstein audio. Video is definitely besides my example of myself. So you gotta think about it from from those standpoints right social media. it's it's a fickle. It really is a fickle. Because i remember when i said look you know what business is it of yours late. Worry about yourself and your loved ones in somebody tried to be slick and say something along the lines of well. You know It is our business because this person doesn't wanna give in naked and and they don't get vaccinated and you know we could die or some shit like that. And i remember i came right back and the responded to them i said look i said if i have a friend who comes around my circle and i'm fully vaccinated my friends and family everybody's fully vaccinated. They come around us for whatever their respected are for not getting vaccinated but they did do to research and all that they decide. They don't want to vaccinate you know what that's their health. That's their business by you know we're good. We're pretty much fully protected. What they do outside of that circle of us you know. That's that's really them. They they really got a be very careful right. That's kind of like mental. My whole thing was just you know will come as you are. You ain't gonna get no judge. You're not gonna get any. Hey you know just as long as you educate yourself if you didn't educate yourself then it's a problem because it's like he didn't at least educate yourself before. Just nope nope not doing it. I'm just constant at the mailman is gonna drop the stuff off at my doorstep. Today's has happened to be my day off from work. I did have classes though. But otherwise okay. So i'm going to be able to intercept this male nope problem. There's no reason for the mailman because of the type of packages that's coming. There's no way he's going to be able to get this inside the mailbox. Oh i got this. I'm good so. I see that my mail is supposed to be delivered sometime between one. Forty five to abou- four forty five in the afternoon. Why what. I go run. Some errands do some stuff. Come on back in everything actually was able to get in a little quick power nap for about sixty minutes chakma fall. I see that males been delivered. Why i cool. And i'm going to try to find out who's delivering the mail over here because that was just that makes no sense. There's no reason for them to be that lazy and handle mail liked that.
