"Get it done. Look if we all waited. Waited for the perfect time. We would not be doing anything at all. You have to remember how many people ahead of you have already done what you're probably attempting to do or wanting to do, but a lot of times we don't do it. Because of fear fear of failure, fear of judgment, right the other thing you have to remember as when we get it done, it may not be perfect. That's okay, and I guarantee you. You will find your tribe of supporters specially if it's not perfect. I hope that makes sense to you guys. Stop Rewind, pause rewind! Listen to that again. You will have so many amazing supporters because you're real. People connect with real people want real and my generation. We definitely need rope because we don't have time for the fake. We don't have time for the perfect. It doesn't work for us. Okay. The fourth thing of course I mentioned to you is grow from. From the setbacks. What does that mean so safe? Example you've already started the project or whatever it is that you are preventing yourself from doing because it's not perfect I would recommend you. Start do the thing. Get it going, and then perfect it and all the professionals. All those guys out there that I'm reading in psychology today that I'm in my coaching. Seminars and workshops and zoom calls at all of that. They literally all our about everyone is teaching. Start just dare to begin Hashtag. Dare to begin. If you haven't listened to that episode, please go back and do so, but it is jess because. Then going back to perfect it. You have to start somewhere to compare yourself to something that you've done before understanding that again. It's not easy, but I know you can do it. I'm holding you accountable. I wanted to hear what you guys did this week at how you experienced it, so I had someone send me an email. Thank you so much. You can also do that too by participating, and you can go to. Nicole banks dot com under the podcast page, and you can drop me an email at Nicole App Nicole with H. I. C.. H., O. L. E. AT NICOLE BANKS DOT..

"Good Morning Good Morning and happy Friday guys I I'm so glad you're here. It is always with a grateful heart that you guys are listening it is Friday and if you're listening, of course, you survived your week. I hope that it was a good one for you I'm Nicole Banks, and you are listening to my accountability partner podcast Raw. Yes, this is the follow up show so as episode. We talked about how to stop chasing perfection. A- that's right. I know crazy. You had a challenge and your challenge was to simply find out what you can get out of your experiences this week. Simply letting go of perfect perfection, right? Right giving someone else control at the very end of the episode. I mentioned on Mondays episode. I mentioned about baking and doing sugar cookies, comparing to pinterest photo what they look like compared to what our cookies look like and being able to just let go of control. It's challenging. It's not easy, and that's why they call it a challenge right well. How does this deal with accountability stopped chasing perfection, well first and foremost. Your actions will always speak louder than your words. That's for sure, but when you start talking about the things that your going to do, and I am going to refer to my triathlon for those who are. Loyal listeners. You guys have heard the story before, but you know when I started telling everyone. Hey, I'm running triathlon. I'm doing this triathlon. TRAFF on swimming of training. I literally had to follow up with that because you know what I told so many people and they're like. Hey, what are you doing? Are you still training wins triathlon as like? Okay, wait, hold up I. Literally shouted to the world, and now I to be accountable for it. I actually have to go through with it did that make sense? I hope so. I talked about four ways to stop chasing perfectionism. Let me run through those real quick. If you haven't listened to episode, we highly recommend that you do so because I go into further. Further detail, but the first one was really just being. Bring your real self to the table. Stop living in the fantasy Lan. Bring yourself down from cloud, nine and walk on earth with everyone else listen. Life is tough..

Companion we want the perfect house in the neighborhood, so the neighbors think that we have all of our shit together. I know I can't believe I just said that, but it's true. We have the perfect job, so we can make the best money we wear the perfect close one about when we don't obtain perfect. What do we do? Then? We ended up beating ourselves up and we feel stressed and anxious, because we didn't live up to the what the perfect image. Okay, so let me ask you this question now. If you're working in the office or you're working out in the gym, stop for just a second and listen the question is. How do you know you're not perfect? Who is it that you are comparing yourself to? You know that everything is perfect in the eyes of the beholder. Right? For example you see this painting. This are and you think. Oh, my gosh, it is perfect. And then betty comes along and we know who betty is. If you've listened to this podcast, she's negative. She doesn't know what she's doing..

"The mailbox with stamps. And she's like Does this really work? Does it really go places? It's so crazy that eleven year old doesn't realize that there's other things that come in the mail besides bills right my gosh anyway and then we were able to be active. We did bike riding. We played four square. We have a dartboard out in the garage was able to get active. Love that and then Chores I gave her some little chores that she could do by cleaning up her room that she was staying in the guest bedroom up in the kitchen after cooking things and I just feel like really keeping the balance or the technology after hours so like after dark or after after there was nothing else that we could come up with at that made any sense trust and believe we played on. Tick Tock so much fun. Oh my gosh. We had a great time. Laughed and giggled was silly with ourselves. You know what I'm saying. Sometimes it involves everybody. Sometimes it involves just one on one and that's totally fine by keeping the balance with with the technology was. I felt very important just knowing that we are in the same house making that connection to be isolated in a room while they're you know hours and hours on youtube videos or watching TV or cartoons I- encouraging you guys to be balanced so there were times where we had to separate or wanted to separate because we had been spending so much time together and we just want to keep it balanced so we were able to do that. So hopefully those tips with the preteen. Help you guys again. We got into some cooking shows on Youtube. We watched a little bit of a scroll through the pinterest ideas for cooking ideas as well. That was a lot of fun and then just keep in mind too. You know being able to stick with the schedule. She woke up every morning. We made our beds. We went and worked out. We did a little breakfast eating realistically. Why Win we right? I mean why not just because I have eleven year old in the house doesn't mean that I'm not gonNA try to keep up with the balance so that was the idea behind that we really wanted to keep up with the balance and I think we did very well. This change episode really is hopefully giving you some tips and some helpful ideas on how to handle change. It's constant that is one thing for sure we know that change is constant and we know that when we get in the mindset of a positive change. Hey it's not so bad but right now when it's a mindset of we're being told what to do we're not necessarily comfortable with everything. We're not really sure what's happening. Because they don't know what's happening. It's kind of scary so just be real with you. Accept acknowledged stick to the routine. Stay on the workout plan. Let's do it. We got this and of course I always appreciate your comments on these episodes. So this is the change episode. If you WANNA drop me a line head to Nicole banks dot com under the podcast paid. Ever those who haven't checked out NICOLE BANKS DOT com. Guess what you're in for a surprise. I have transferred my platform so I hopefully. "You're going to want to create a list of things that you want to organize. Okay so a little more detail with this one. Yes you can do the normal like the junk drawer or the trunk. That aunt betty gave to you pass down generation after generation. You have no idea what's in it. You can make a list of organizing important things as well like your finances right. This is a big time to do that. Like your taxes. Like you're filing cabinet or your office. You can organize your home supplies. You could organize your closets. Your cupboards your children's room. Your toys the outgrown closet outdated clothing. I mean there's so many things you can organize. Make that list and put them in priorities for myself. It's about the priorities. So if money management list is on there to organize I wanNA knock that one out I. It can't be stressful. It's GonNa feel so good that you've actually have taken the time to do this. I love this organized list. Create the list. You know you've watched something for the sixteenth time. Get off the couch. Remove yourself from the situation. Go to the Organiz list and start crossing things off. It's GonNa Fill Soga. You're gonNA love that less. The seventh less that I feel is really really important is making a list of why your so amazing. Yeah why are you so amazing? It is sounds crazy but it's such a great list to give you hope to keep you motivated to understand that you know again. We're in this trying time. This unforeseen time I have friends and clients that have never experienced with anxiety that have high levels of anxiety right now. The domestic violent rate is going up. Abuse rate is going up. Alcoholism will go up all of these things that are trying to us right now. Are Only GonNA tense at by in the future. Number seven is so important. Why are you so amazing right that list and it better be a long one? I'm amazing because I'm a communicator. Amazing because I enjoy smiling. I'm amazing because I'm able to connect with others. The list can go on and on and on and I really want you to small things. You're amazing that and really big. Things are amazing at some of these things that you're so amazing that other people don't know. Did you know that I can quilt what I never said? I was good at it but I can quilt. I think that I'm pretty amazing because I'm a Quilter I've also a cook. I can cook. I just want to let you know big or small. They are things that you know that you are amazing. And I'm sure there's some unforeseen talents that you're really amazing at this list in particular is a feel good confidence booster. And don't we need that right now. Don't we need the list that is going to inspire us? That's GonNa make US WANNA move. That's going to make us WanNa read and learn things. This is the time to create an important list of list. This is the time where you get an opportunity to reflect on how you spent this time. Most of us are in lockdown. We are state awarded here in Washington. I have lots of friends across the nation and other across the seas. That are in lockdown as well my friends in the UK. My friend Australia. They're all in lockdown. I want you to know that no matter where you're listening to this podcast at your absolutely worth it. You not going through this alone. I'm so excited that you're here your challenge. This week is to create a list of a booklet per se right. You know you've got seven pages or eight pages twelve pages. I don't know how long your star but put them together staple it and create the title the list the important list list refer back to it as often as you need so you can stay afloat during this really stressful time using the Hashtag M. a. p. p. with 'em a PCP which stands for my accountability partner podcast. I'm so proud of you for taking this step in putting yourself first head to Nicole banks dot com. When we feel bad a lot of times we fall back into that cycle of self doubt again or the self worth and have lack thereof so today I wanted to create some list. That have helped me. I've compiled this list down to the ones that are successful for me. The ones that have helped me get unstuck the ones that keep me afloat from all the craziness. The ones that I can turn to actually be productive in such a stressful time. I know what you're thinking. Oh my God Nicole. You're GonNa give me a challenge. I am going to give you a challenge. I want you to pick everything on this list and create them or I want you to create your list it. This podcast inspires you. Please don't forget to share it with your tribe. I just know that this list the important list of list that we're GONNA create today have helped me during very difficult times so of course the first thing is is the list itself helps you. Stay on track to feel better or to motivate you when you're not feeling motivated and so I'm going to go down those lists. I will put them in the show notes as well and of course I always appreciate it. If you can rate this podcast on apple podcast and or spotify afrita rated and or drop me a review. The first list you are going to create at I recommend like a small journal or a couple of fun little pages something that you can print off of Canada or youtube or Google or Pinterest or estee. There's so many different forms of paper that you can actually get but whatever it is an however you are putting this down go ahead and the first list your going to create is a list of gratitude. Yeah you're GonNa name all the things that you yourself are thankful for. My list happens to include family. I go down family names. I create my gratitude. List my job. Who you guys are. I'm grateful for my listeners. I'm grateful for my partner Jeff. I'm grateful for the opportunity to use this platform as a voice. I list everything I possibly can think of that. I grateful for semi view those pages that list is going to be extremely long as others are like well Nicole. I'm only grateful for you. Know being above ground today. That's pretty amazing. Thing to be grateful for because no matter what age we are today. There are people who have not survived to be come our age. It's sad and it's very true so I always say like my dad used to say any day above ground. It's a good day so make the first list a list of things that you are grateful for again. We're creating a compiling a list of things that you can turn to open up this little journal book or these fun pages that you put together and be inspired and beep grounded for getting us. Through these difficult times listener wind be grateful named the things. You're grateful for listener to list the things that you want to achieve in your life. Yeah I wrote it. There's plenty of time you know if you don't start today. We're not promised tomorrow. So why not start today? So if you want to achieve learning a new language if you WANNA cheap learning how to sew quilt if you WANNA learn how to knit if you WANNA learn gardening. Create your list of things that you want to achieve in your life envision. It see it start researching them. It's a fun list to do. I wrote on my list not too long ago. How to make a homemade? Alfredo sauce tried it twice. The first one is not so much not GonNa lie was not good but the second went. Omg mastered like a heartbeat. And normally I use my grandmother's recipe which is justice delicious. One I made. But it's so time consuming thinking there's gotta be a quick easy tasteful way of doing it I guess what Dun Dun done mastered it love it. Love it all right. Create the list of things you want to achieve is list number two. The third less you're going to create is a list of inspirational videos or podcasts. That help inspire. You help motivate you. This sounds like a crazy less to make but it is so helpful in times where you're not motivated to do anything. So a list of inspirational videos go to YouTube. Checkout Ted talks checkout motivational speakers. Check out your line of what you want to be motivated in right whether it's cooking whether it's sewing whether it's writing a novel whether it's directing a movie whether it's learning how to tap dance or you know lying dance. It doesn't matter what you're wanting to do. You can actually go into Google and Youtube type it in and there's going to be a lot. You'll be surprised on how much there is out there. Trust me Google and youtube are amazing for inspirational videos. Podcasts are also inspirational. Hopefully I'm on your list of podcast inspire you but I will say there are amazing. Podcasts out there that inspire me and I'm a true believer that once you get inspired you get that little bug and sometimes that's all we need but it's nice to have the list so you can turn to them. It's nice to have illicitly get the opportunity to turn to that page ago. Boom GonNA watch his video. Oh my gosh I remember that Tedtalk. Oh yeah remember this yeah. Yeah it's the feelgood buying ones that motivate you and inspire you list number four. This is a powerful one. Believe it or not this is so powerful make a list of inspirational music is so powerful. I kid you not so the last time I was in like this little funk of mine I turned on Bruno Mars and before I knew it I was tapping my finger and I was chair. Dancing pushed out the chair. And I'm on my feet clapping hands and ready to rock and you just cannot be in a bad mood listening to Bruno Mars. Okay so make a list of music that inspires you. Sometimes it's just instrumental music other times. It is music with words and a beat in a boom boom boom right. Let's do it make a list of inspirational music. It is so powerful the fifth list. You'RE GONNA WANNA make our books. I know right books that you want to read books that I guarantee you. You have around the house. You've not read before. How about that one? I know right a list of books that you want to read. Listen for those that are home and I've got a lot of time on their hands. This is a beautiful opportunity to take advantage of. Okay books that can inspire you. Books can educate you to master a new recipe or a new style of cooking or baking for that matter. Books are powerful just like music. The six list..

Or if you're sensitive to this language please go to Nicole. Banks DOT COM. Check it out. Today's episode is all about stop saying yes to the Shit you hate. There's GonNa be two things number one is why you should be saying yes more often and why you should be saying no. And why should we say no to the stuff you're not into? I used to be a people pleaser and these days. I'm more into pleasing Nicole. Banks myself right though. I'm not perfect. I am here today. Saying thank you for joining me. I hope to get back on the regularly scheduled program next week. This particular article. The other day that I was reading was coming. From the power of positivity and so for those that are in commute that don't have access to paper and pen. I will make sure that I dropped those in the show notes and I appreciate you checking those out later. So the question is really. How often do you if it's often good for you? I'm almost certain that you're in a great place in your life but if you find yourself saying no often which is where many people are. Do you realize you're limiting yourself and closing the doorway to your best life. I'm not talking about saying Yes to things that are truly no good for you and being a people pleaser saying yes to everyone and everything until you are completely emotionally mentally and physically trained. I'm actually referring to a green to new things for you. Seize the day for new opportunities new experience fresh ideas and discover that getting you out of your daily effort zone and attained the growth..

"This is the Friday follow-up show. Oh Ed that means yes. It is finding you guys made it get a whoop whoop. I hope. You're ready to rock your weekend. I am so excited for this. This coming Sunday Super Bowl super bowl Sunday is here. We've got the forty niners. We've got the Kansas City chiefs. We get J.. Lo say what. Say what I I know right. I'm a huge football fan. Not Everybody is and that's totally okay. But I'm a big San Francisco Forty Niner Fan. We're in the Super Bowl folks. Super excited can't wait. It's going to be a great game and halftime show. Hallo J. Lo go go go the second thing that you you need to know is I'm here checking on you to find out how you did on the challenge. It's Friday right. That's what accountability partners do they check in with you so the question is did you pay attention to how many times you said sorry. Did you catch Monday. Show first and foremost if you haven't totally fine. Welcome if you are new. I'm so glad you're here and check out Monday show because we did a challenge this week. It's not too late. I promise gopher you can do it still time but we talked about saying sorry Lori and how. The best apology is changed behavior. Understanding this week's challenge was digit. Pay attention to how many times you said sorry. Did you catch yourself in the act. Did you notice other people throwing it around like it was no biggie. Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry not sorry. Isn't there an underlying tone when you hear that. Sorry not sorry. Yeah I think so too I would totally agree. I know you nodded your head when I asked you that question. You're like yeah there is an undertone. There's some truth to it there's like sarcastic undertone under there. When you hear someone say sorry? That's sorry I ooh I don't like it though elected at all the question is really how digital and did you recognize the difference when you didn't say it it if you haven't challenged yourself this past week again it's never too late and I do watch it. Go back. Check out. Monday's episode. We talk about what it is. We talk about what your challenges and what to say and what not to say but maybe there's nothing to be sorry about and that it wasn't even your fault so if someone ran into you and they they weren't paying attention and you were. That's not your fault but you said sorry why. That's what what this week's challenge was about. It was about to listen to when you want to say it or when you say it and when you do say it was for the right reason it wasn't that a great question. Yeah I said it but then did you recognize why you set it for some of us we say it way too often and you have to remember. That sometimes seems like I mentioned a Monday. Show that we say it to make other people feel good about themselves or the situation and I thought for those of us who overuse the word. Sorry or over apologize. We could learn three things before saying it again. Always a work in progress and we're not looking for perfection in here. We're looking for progression. Okay so just understand that. Sometimes we learn something new and you go Dan. I forgot this or forgot that it's o okay. Just be aware. This is awareness of what you're saying why you're saying it and need to recognize right so the first thing I feel l. like before you say sorry again pause pause before apologizing before saying sorry. Stop and ask yourself this have. Have I actually done anything wrong here. If the answer is no do not apologize. Yeah that's it. Do not apologize. The urge can be easier. You're to resist if you ask this. Follow up question if I didn't do something wrong here. Do I really want people to think that I believe I did. Don't you love that now again. If something goes down and you have the urge to apologize ask yourself have I actually done anything wrong. Appear and then ask the follow up question if I didn't do anything wrong. Do I really want those people to think that. I believe that I did a lot of it. I think that's sound advice. Number two is to know your triggers. Do a quick brainstorming session and write down ten things that make you want to apologize for example bumping into a stranger are asking someone to do something for you for each item. Think of something that you could say instead stead and then spent a week focusing on just one trying to entirely eliminate sorry from that context. I think it's fabulous. I think it's always always a work in progress. Were not looking for perfection. We're looking for progressive. We want to progress right. The third thing I feel is turning apologies. She's anti gratitude. I love this one the next time. You feel an apology rising up inside you right. It's boiling up. Thank of a way to rephrase it to a statement of gratitude. Here's the example. I'm sorry you had to run. That Erin could easily become. I'm so I'm grateful you did this favor for me. Not only is it more pleasing to the here. The listener the one. That's receiving it but it focuses your mind not positively and abundance abundance and that you can attract even more positively remember. I mention learning how to remove. Sorry out of my vocabulary is when you're running late instead of saying sorry I'm late right. The you can easily say. Thank you for your patience. Short quick right to the point again you have to remember a lot of people who say sorry will always follow up with all of these amazing excuses. Are they really amazing. No they're not but In their mind they are so. Let's stop and use the apology and turn it into gratitude. So turning the apology into gratitude is a great way to overcome the word. Sorry interesting enough. I had someone. Leave me a comment on my website and thank you so much. Yes you too can leave comments on my website about the podcast. You can ask Nicole anything. And that's under the podcast page at Nicole. BANKS DOT COM It says this summer a good friend of mine started charging me a quarter for every. I'm sorry and I could also charge her. We both broke even then but caught ourselves saying it often. It was a great exercise to bring the over use of that phrase into perspective. Isn't that fabulous. Well first of all thank you so much for for sharing. I do appreciate that and absolutely love that challenge you number. One could end up broke or rich for that matter. If you challenge someone also always remember that it is bringing the verge into perspective and I feel like that so important. That's the whole reason. We're bringing the show. What accountability? What actions are you taking to better yourself again remembering those that are saying it to you on a continued basis? Stop accepting their apology until their actions. Speak Louder than words. That's right when we say sorry. We accept sorry more often so no more if the person who truly wrong you then let them show you how sorry. They are by their actions and to improve their actions. We know it takes time time. We know this by our own struggle right. Think for second how hard it is now that you want to change something about someone else. Come on be patient. And if the actions don't match it could be time to rethink the relationship would love to hear what your thoughts are on today's episode. And what you didn't say sorry for or this coming week and next head to Nicole banks dot com under the podcast page to be sure to drop me a line also feel free to leave me a podcast review. You can do that on spotify and or apple would appreciate it always with the grateful heart. Thank you so much. Be sure to stay tune in Monday as it's about to get.

"Morning or afternoon depend had unwin. You're listening. I am so glad you're here. I am your host nickel banks and your accountability partner. Sorry I was giggling because I have a dog dog and a cat and both of them are under my desk as I am recording this today. So I just got tickled okay so here we go. Hey guys welcome. It is always with a humble heart that you keep sharing this podcast guys. Thank you so much you absolutely rock now. If you're joining us for the first time welcome Aboard please subscribe so you know win another episode another new episode of my accountability partner. PODCAST is coming out. Guess what it is episode so six of this six weeks series. It is the celebrating big or small. We celebrate them all. That's right where celebrating throughout the whole year. Were celebrating big wins. Little wins before we get into it. I WANNA do a recap of this series for the last five weeks. We have been working on things things that will allow us to be successful in our New Year Week. One was declutter UVA clutter simply getting rid of all the negativity activity. Essentially it was a brain dump in the areas of procrastination fear anger discouragement. Incomplete goals and of course sorrow. Now don't forget you can go to Nicole Banks Dot Com and get the PDF instructions and format for this this particular exercise. I always disclosed. Just be kind to yourself. Let go of all that negativity can be very difficult exhausting. I just want you to be kind to yourself okay. So weak to we got clarity for the upcoming year and actually knowing what we're working for is so important wouldn't than just flying by the seat of our pants rate actually how to get there so we were able to lay out some things on on how to get clarity part three was getting Getting Ready Aka Powell lanning. It's exactly what we have to do. It's a must for us to be successful in the year right. You plan your work and then you work your plan part for which a great one as well it was what you allow is what continue his simply was how to break the cycle real small steps to changing in a big way how to get rid of the bad habits and replace them with good ones week five which was last week. DOC was simply how to find your tribe how to find the people that support your goals so again a lot of you will say. Hey I can do this on my own. I don't need anybody to support me. That's totally fine. But it has been proven with the statistics as high as sixty five percent. People who have support in their goals accomplished awesome. Keep in mind. I'm here for you as well. I'm your accountability partner. I am right here along the way to help support you in any which way I can and so today show is the wrap up of the series at time to celebrate. We've been working so hard bigger small. We are ready to celebrate them. It's the little victories to carry us through to the bigger ones right when we look at the big picture here yes. Living a healthy lifestyle is the best and the greatest reward for our mindset our health and our loved ones that are near to us so here are a few ways to celebrate the wins and keep them going all year long along in part two of this series. We were to get clarity on what we're working towards now some of you. It's just a start whether it's letting go of the daily Soda whether it's a ten minute building yourself up to thirty minute. Daily Walk Little steps and we applaud your efforts and we celebrate your wins with you. Billing even like the littlest accomplishment should be celebrated because we get lost in the grand scale of things that is so far out there that we end up losing insight of it right so at the end of each week. Look back at the things you've accomplished take stock. What went well what areas you could have used some improvement movement? Write it all down now. I do this every single Sunday. I get my planner out and I'm getting ready to plan my week but just before I plan my week I reflect on the winds of the week. I want to look back and go okay. That worked all right. I like that who've maybe I should change aims this one up or oh Let me try this one again. There are things that we know in. Listen we all know what went. Well what didn't go. Well now. Maybe your workouts didn't go because you didn't plan for it. Yeah granted you have to planet right remember. Planning is key here. I want you to think about how you can make incremental refinements next week then celebrate the highlights take a hot bubble bath and joy a cocktail or just lie down on the Sofa and contemplate. Contemplate your progress. Some may say this egotism but it isn't it really isn't it is self reflection and is so essential all you have so earned it. I promise you it's GonNa fill amazing. I love being able to take each week or month and the Hash it out and or reflect it with someone have a regular weekly or monthly meeting or discussion about your goals with either a friend or the party your tribe or even a lover. Even if you feel like you haven't made a lot of progress making a point to hash out with someone else will will actually help you realize just how far you've come and I can't thank him enough but jeff really is a huge advocate for not only me reaching my goals but me being able able to tweak and reflect and take a look at what I could have done differently and recognize. Hey girl you are working hard you are doing things. Let's celebrate those does so he is a great accountability partner for me but I am your accountability partner. So let's get it done. Reflect guys it's going to make you feel so good and you'll be happy that you did. I always do a keep a running tally of my accomplishments as well somewhere where I can see them. So it's always in my planner whether it's an I'm a planner or an actual paper planner. You gotta get creative you can do so with like fun stickers or colored markers there's so many different things out there. I promise. Promise you you'll start having fun with it and you'll go. Oh yeah time to celebrate think of it as like a gratitude list for your awesomeness. Yeah that's right. I said said it when you're feeling discouraged and overwhelmed half glance at it. Take a look at the things you've done in the past and go. Oh yeah you know what I remember Rockin that and you'll remember how capable and amazing. You really are. I love that. It's just you are awesome. You're bad ass you know it. Let celebrate it. I love this one to make eldest of rewards that. You could actually bestow upon yourself when you've made progress that you're proud of. You could even keep a little drawer or a little box of cute things that you can give yourself right for me. You know when you're striving for fitness for me it's new yoga mats or new running shoes or wetted gloves. I recently got a new water bottle. It's just little small things that says you know what it's tangible items. I like tangible items. That says hey you so turn this love that makes you feel good. Don't forget to enjoy all the miniature triumphs along the way to your finest hour. It's the old saying is true. I I fill that. Happiness is a journey not a destination. Now if you can find pleasure and the progress you're life will fill more meaningful and you'll smile now more often. I love that. There's nothing better than that smile. Ladies it looks so good on you. One of the tricks I use is actually put it in my planner a day to celebrate now again when I I just to clarify. I do two things in my planner every Sunday. I write my winds of the week as a planner in January every every second week of the month all the way through December I put in. What are you celebrating? And if I were to screen shot my planner today. All twelve months. Say the second week. What what he celebrating? Because I am a big goal person and I have a visionary board I have it all out there outta sight Outta atomised. Everything's right up front. It's in my face all the time. I WanNa know what I'm celebrating and I do it monthly so I do in my weekly wins for the week and then what am I celebrating for the win of the month now. Sometimes and here's the reason I do at the second week sometimes. It takes a little longer to accomplish the particular goal that mom. Tom And I will carry over into the next month. Hence the reason the second week of the month at that tip works for you Celebrate it let's do it. I always think think that celebrating is a huge thing. It's got to be a part of your ritual. I mean. Sometimes we don't feel like celebrating because we've been working so hard but to stop and smell the roses or stop stop and pop the Cork of Champagne and celebrate the small victories. It is a huge thing. It'll make you feel good. It's a sense of accomplishment and I'll carry you through I feel like it's a refocused regroup refreshing and a revitalizing opportunity to go into Web Bom Concord moving on all right so I hope this series has given you what you need to take you through the year anytime you need a reminder of what the hell you're doing you can come back and bends listen to the six week series and hit it again and hit it again and again until you know what you're doing. I think he deserves the best life. I am here to give you that swift swift kick. That's what accountability partners do as always. I hope you've enjoyed this week's episode and don't forget I want you to find something this week to celebrate bigger small small celebrated all. I'll be checking in on you on Friday and if you WANNA drop me a line go to Nicole banks dot com under the podcast paid and share with me. What you're celebrating all all celebrate with you? Don't forget to tag me in those Insta- stories Hashtag dare to begin Nick and or my accountability partner. I'll be watching out for those next week. We are diving. Eight into sane. Sorry how the best apology is. Change Behavior Right. I now make it a great week and until until Friday holding people accountable is love and when I'm holding you accountable I am saying your capable of a bigger game. I'm your host. Nickel banks have a great week. I'll be checking in on what you celebrated come Friday..

The end of a decade and a new one begins. Happy Friday folks. You made it to the weekend. Are you ready. Are you ready for the upcoming year. Well it's upon us. Remember a few weeks back when it was Oh like twenty twenties just around the corner and now it's day three of the the first month. Are you ready part. Three of six getting ready to rock dill. Listen on Monday's show. When it gave you tips on how to plan I feel like the top three things that will help you be successful in anything you do? But we're actually talking about keeping you on track is without saying continuing to listen into this podcast right. I mentioned that Tian Monday. Let's go over the smallest. It's three things that will actually help you. Keep you on track. Number one is to plan right. We talked about a planning and actually making time to plan. I always plan everything. That is a set schedule. If you work Monday. Through Friday from eight to five you. Yeah no in your planner Monday. Through Friday from eight to five you are going to be at work but do you plan your actual lunch. Breaks your morning bakery afternoon break i. Why do I mean I literally do? I've got an extra fifteen minutes to spare. Guess what I'm doing I'm creating content. I'm responding to emails. I'm setting setting up coach calls. I'm zooming with people. Ten to fifteen minutes can really help boost and create to your goals. Even if it's a ten minute walk instead of sitting in the break. Zero having your food ordered in walking go get it or ride your bike to go get your food things like that. That can really help make a difference little small baby step but I want wanted planet. That was number. One number two was getting organized. Of course please listen to the podcast on Monday. If you haven't but number two getting organized so you're planning your work you're getting Organiz Organiz. Slowly find the top three things that you want organized and planet get it together. I don't care if you need extra folders for your office if you need to organize your car if you need to organize the baby's room I don't care if you need organize your hair accessories Organiz it. It'll save you so much. Time and time equals money. Yeah with me. They're all right. Get organized number. Three three was consistency. Anything do you need to be consistent period then mic DRP. Did you hear that. Thus right mic drop. After this week of planning way we can keep in mind you have to remember. The first came in the middle of the week and there is a lot of people on social media throughout TV Throughout everywhere you see it some are starting on the first which was Wednesday. Some are starting on Monday. which is the six? When are you starting? When is the best time for you to to start? If it's a Monday do it Monday. You have the weekend planet and get it going make it make sense. Let's go if you're ready now woody waiting for. I dare you to begin today. If you're ready. Now why wait if you plant if you got Organiz if you plan on staying organized then why wait and I dare you to begin today. Let's go come on. Remember commend to not go balls to the wall. We've done this before we we get all excited about the first of the year the fresh everybody's talking about it but you to what you get burnt out. Slow and steady wins the race every single time. I know you've heard this before and I feel like it's really true on January. First my good friend and I took a group of amazing ladies to a waterfall height. We enjoyed a great lunch afterwards. But there was it's about eleven of us and it was a little train at times and well shit. It's winter so not everybody's just fit as a fiddle as they wanna be including me. We were out there and we enjoyed ourselves but instead of running up the hill or trying to keep up with the front of the pack. We took our time enjoyed the mountains and the waterfalls no Oh hiker was left behind. Everyone decided to go at their own pace and believe it or not. All eleven of US made it to the top. We all all saw and took a great couple of group photos. It was amazing. What I don't want you to do is rush into your goals? We all want it now. Boom boom boom boom boom home. The reality is I wanted to make them a priority. Yes I want you to work on them. I want you to plan them. I want you to get organized around them. And and then be consistent with them. I believe in you. I know you can do it. Listen I'm here to support you in any way I can. You can always. He's leaving comments for this podcast on Nicole banks dot com under the podcast page. Believe it or not I care if you haven't even started or even given any thought of what you're doing this year they consider putting yourself I it really is a ripple effect. Do you know that being happy is contagious. Just like the opposite of being mad or sad so easy to get on that bandwagon of negativity right. But let's for one moment consider if happy could spread as fast as the negative. Could it all starts with you. So if you don't know what you're doing this year than I challenge you. I dare you to begin by putting yourself I go back and listen to episode two of this podcast entitled how to put yourself on top of the to do list. I think you're really. I'm going to enjoy it now. Episode Four right is next week and this is a six week part series. What you allow? Oh is what will continue how to break the cycle small steps to changing in a big way.
