"Group. I think he could make something happen. In new england am newly true. It's true but with that in the especially in the afc east with solid now with the jets probably gonna ramp up that defense. Buffalo is not there super bowl pick for next year buffalo. And you have. The dolphins were up and coming you know can can can win the east especially with those three teams. I it'll be tough. Starting nelson agholor now so look out. That's got hundred hunter. Henry and jonnu smith lookout too tight end said that. That's that's belcher bread and butter for one over the top one on one underneath he needs one more any i need. I need one more year of bad bell check for. I can really say what i want to say. Okay we'll give one more year. All i know. Is that bill checks. Been there this whole time. And can you name a single draft pick. That's hit in the last ten years. Exactly you can eat bacon. that's he's from buffalo. That's right. I believe so. They throw came from but he didn't come from the patriots. If there's if there's a draft pick that hit. It was a defensive player. But he chose he chose to draft nicole hairy. Aj brown and was i forget. The other guy was deebo samuel to and you know if you watch like i said called. Football's hard to figure out. But i'm sure people looked at. Aj brown is much better than the kill harry coming into the draft. Probably he drafted sony michelle couple of years ago. You could drafted lamar jackson a couple years ago. Can you imagine bill. Check with lamar jackson. I just i just think he i think the brilliance sink. The brady thing that brady may bella. Check is not as ridiculous. I thought it was a couple years ago. No 'cause brady won a super bowl with somebody else. So obviously brady wasn't the problem through you'll see one more. You're a bell check has but like you said. The bills are better than them. The dolphins are better than them. I'm not going to give up onto after a year of noah. Offseason broke his hip the.

"The jets can compete for a half alison out of it before your plus we've been noses quarterback now the NUCCI or or Gilbert I don't know what they're gonNa do was w the guy from all the right moves with the Was the guy. With the jail Domenici seventh-round there from James Madison. Jamison can you trade for looking at that and as everything I read on it is they'd have to give up like a third rounder it's like okay you could win the division. Yeah. Maybe I don't know with Jamie's then the other names. You got the Sean Kaiser. So is out there. Pesos available is are so is out there shape patterson the old Michigan quarterback Drew Stanton Drew Anderson do I not even remember him do is that was that a Carolina guy? Who tells you Anderson? Panthers don't remember that one sad pa- Sally the he had to be on the browns. Anderson. But then they say like a guy like trubisky like you'd have to give up at least a second round of four like what you have to give up blast for Winston everything I. Read said the same thing about trubisky. Nana. You gotta you gotTa Empty? The perse? Sam Darnold. Oh Yeah. If you picking off other teams, I'm just thinking yeah, I don't know it doesn't really matter because the cowboys have nine players that shouldn't be in the NFL right now. So the offensive line is terrible like you said, the defense gives up way too much too many points even a good players don't tackle anymore. It's really really sad watch year linebackers eight-year offensive line are the worst in the league at those positions. I, agree we went in eighteen months. We went from having the best to having guys who are at a position undrafted players on offensive line but the thing that gets me crazy is Joe Borrow. Puts Up. Three touchdowns you now he gets he finds a way to make team scored three touchdowns and he gets fricken hammered every single every other time he drops back. So as me nuts having like money against did. Yeah he's terrifying. If he he finds these little ways to create. Two feet to the right to feet to the left a little scramble daylight just to buy himself like an extra second, and then just throws a perfect pass to somebody in stride over and over again or maybe he'll just. He'll just scramble and scrambled for eight yards. Is and I think Herbert's fantastic. So good he's so impressive. The unsown it I'm trying to make that like my second favorite team like the team I don't have money on I try not to have any of fantasy players with the if I'm going against him, I can't help it but you know like all right if they're losing losing but it's so fun to watch him scramble on third three their defense plays well, you know Jean and Alan catch passes thoughtful. You think Miami regrets not stabbing Fitzpatrick function as long with the needle to get to and six weeks sooner I think the chargers really created something here. Yeah. No but I think that had to be prearranged right the dolphins to coming in after our by week no questions asked. It's not like he was added. Thought fits bad in that jets game. In the jets get his yeah. He even though they won he was bad in that game back away. Yeah. Yeah. But like if you're three and three gotta sit if that's the agreement know I remembered acted this with Bromo I. was going crazy. I just waiting for the guy to lose any would eventually like. He's like eight and one Romo gotTa Sit Shit? I can't. I can't even really argue this can run. We'll come back by the. Way See weighing in these days. I told them last week was the time get down from that booth when he was calling the game? Yeah. Need three months. Your team is really terrible. Did the word lie team I think might be secretly terrible. Yeah watching today. It's like any teen that's physical like that nine or steam that can just run the ball and just put you on your heels. We have no front seven off they just they just completely demolished us. We only have one receiver that can get open and our quarterback either throws over his head or bounces it Tim Cam campaign the worst game by Patriots quarterback. That accurate members since I was in college, right? The Mark Wilson Tommy Hodson Year whatever your that was when in fifteen mark Wilson had a couple of games like the one cam ad today were that was year I started gambling rise. It was like I just can't spend the rest of my life rooting for this shit team, I need to I can. Better than other teams I can start rooting for He was so bad and I don't know whether to blame is hurt is the Kobe thing like what happened what happened to this guy from the Seattle game? Where is he well, but I don't WanNA blame the quarterback. So all that much I know cam was bad and I know Dalton couldn't move and. Easy fixes to say, Oh, it's all the money wants next year but. I, I've now seen this for a few weeks. This has to be the first time. You've senior team get bullied on both offensive and defensive line and one of the last time it might be the same time college but you're going to see all the stats trends like this is the first time two pats of lost three in a row since whenever and it's going to be like Oh. My God that's such a long time ago. But when will you so bullied that you like oh? Man I have to watch two and a half more hours of this right? Doesn't that suck? When you don't have a chance like that that's what I felt. Like was the weirdest part of this ballot check game. Yeah. Was Twenty years ago. It was bud says last year but but I think you're giving cam a free pass. He couldn't have been worse I. I'm we I'm waiting for them to. Tell us what's wrong. There's. Her. Is D is he having covert after-effects like what the hell was that watching that play by play watching him either sale passes over somebody said, throw grounders distort right to the other team he was absolutely abominable. And they should have pulled them a quarter before they did but it's just weird because he looked like superman in that Seattle game and I would give him a five year deal read for years later I'm like Oh my God do we do right and you know I, have. I'm GonNa do this quick I swear I'm GonNa, make this two minutes. The the real problem with this is the drafts. He he just has not done. "The guy the pats got or the guy could have had and let go or you can hit us up on twitter at key Jay Z.. It's very juicy storyline may not be the game of the week. You got a couple of undefeated like we mentioned in I down with Pittsburgh and Tennessee, but it certainly a really interesting story considering people are less bullish on Jimmy G.. And Cams on a one year deal in the pats are two and three. We got keys opinion. It's CAM by a mile. Our twitter nation says it is cam by a mile about fifty eight percent. But what do you think I'll tell you what I think right now is a better player. Of course, he's a former MVP. He has a lot to prove, but this is one of those things where I think that both teams are going to be on the sideline and should be like a celebrity wife swap type of thing because I think that both quarterbacks belong in could we be better if they're? On opposite teams to dramatic can with that run game with the appeals with the ability to run it in Jimmy G. should have a return to sender sign because he went out there they thought because he was close by Bill Bell check he was a franchise quarterback. He's failed to live up to those expectations. He's he's come up small and the biggest moment, and he's not been able to make the big plays to one or two place and they asked him to make on a consistent basis. He hasn't been able to make you know. So I think that this would be a episode of celebrity, wife. Swap or celebrity qb swap I. Think both teams would be better off if they traded quarterbacks are you worried at all about the patch two and three start key is not worried at all well, I. Tell You what you you. You got to be worried because at the end of the day this is the first time we saw the pats look vulnerable without superman or the goat onside ravens guys. Oh No no no what I'm saying you don't see. You don't see Superman on the silence for years. We've had this discussion who was more important bill belichick Tom, Brady Tom Brady at first it looked like oh No slippage ride no slippage. First couple of games look doing with Cam Newton. Now, they've come back to Earth a little bit and I think. I would believe in the past ability to turn this around if the goat was on the sideline that he would figure it out. I don't know if they able to to have that same belief Tom Brady doesn't miss that pass that that cam you know misty out route to extend the drive. So if they lose this game, then that's telling me that it was more about Tom Brady his ability to perform into get guys to play. A punch above their weight class than it is about bill checking his ability to coach see I. I want to be fair early returns though when you when you look at Cam Newton and you look at the game in which they established against the Miami Dolphins, they win that game the game plan we're going to run the ball go up to Seattle in. Cam. Newton throws for three hundred some yards he established, they run the ball. He doesn't get in because the offer align is pushed in his lap. He doesn't have an opportunity to turn the corner to use his athleticism in his lynch to stretch out. So they lose that football game the the game that they. Kansas City he doesn't play and play right. Brian Hoyer me and you out there playing. But your instead him then he catches covert. In these thirteen days from game to game practice about a day and a half. So you got about five and a half hours of on field activity with his teammate. Then he goes out of and house a stinker. And now all of a sudden. People are questioning what type of quarterback is again that said that to me is crazy. No nothing Kansas craze timeline. Yeah. I'm not courses and. People in general in the universe because he's a polarizing figure. They find any type way and and I, and I always find myself having to defend this because he's polarizing he wears scars. The has a weird hair deal that I would never try to pull off. They just have a problem with the exactly. It's crazy right? I'll take you through the time line, but it wasn't a problem before covert. Now he gets to Kobe situation they were trying to blame him but then they realize we can't blame me. and. Then he goes out has a stinker and he's a problem now, right? Well, I mean he and look at the weapons on which bill belichick has around with Nicole hairy is a bus right now he's. Has. Okay. I lived up to expectations right now and you think about Julia Natoma Julian editor. Older two or four years old. So he he's not able to make the plays that he's made. So now you have to put that right on the general manager's Latte right and you know for years Tom Brady has covered up a lot of mistakes that bill, Belichick as made some draft picks I'm his free agent signings there just hasn't worked out CAM is. A great player, but he's not a guy that can erase a lot of multitude of mistakes that the general manager has made is not enough weapons on squad and they have the players that have that have opted out I. Don't think that we see we become accustomed to send the Patriots. Say you know what they'll figure it out. These are the Patriots well. I'm the guy. So as I say I'm the guy waiting because every single year Bart. Yeah everything we. Hear whether Thomas There's not no no, it's always they play with my castle alive and were like they're done but that was. That was one year they benefited from planning this division, which is the weakest division in football pre last decade understand but they still when eleven five that's that's true. So this is this is going to be test. This is the test is it bill or is it Brady we're going to see because he still has a capable quarterback? He just doesn't have the greatest of all time quarterback if he comes up short is going to be because it was more about time in his ability to be a force. multiplier than it was about Bill Belichick and his ex knows exit polls don't matter if you don't have great players and he had the best is like the triangle when he brought when when Phil Jackson brought the triangle to the knicks opposed to yeah, I can play well, guess what Jordan fits in every system guess what shacking Koby fits in every system. So wasn't more about that wasn't more about the players. That's fair. Enough I'm a jet key mentioned the two, thousand, eight, season one, they went eleven and five. Hassle. So we'll see what happens there. We should also mention just for point of order to keys pointing week to go up on Sunday night football the pats on the goal line against the seahawks the PATS win that game. You could argue that's the best win of the NFL season for any team. Yes. I. Know The raiders beat the cheese you could argue. That was the best win for any team. Suddenly you give them that win and two and three becomes three two and we're looking at things a lot differently but it's a great point by key the last game. All the criticism comes from as keypads mediocre points by me. Appreciate Zoo..

"Wow. Nice call. Agree back. I. Really liked. Mike running back to the near and dear to your heart with a struggling offensive line. I want to know how you feel like. This is going to break out miles sanders sixty, four, hundred dollars taking on the Cincinnati bengals any concern with that offensive line of Mile Sanders think you can overcome that with his passing game. Yeah. Definitely some concern both guards are out. Of course, there downed. They brought Jason Peters back to play left tackle lane. Johnson is there. On. The right side definitely concerns that I'd be more concerned if it was a tougher opponent, right so that's really the key here. Yep. Sanders is still under price I think at sixty, four, hundred dollars. I've missed a third best play in the sleepy price ten. So I think that's a great value for a guy who last week played seventy seven percents of the snaps had twenty carries and seven targets. One hundred, thirty, one yards touchdown in that game I mean. That usage is like saquon Barkley type usage or sometimes like even Christian McCaffrey probably a slightly lower Christian McCaffrey or Zeke Elliot on a good day. If he gets seven target, you know that's workhorse usage. If that continues Sanders is going to be a star top five receiver going forward. Volume is king fantasy football. We know that and also remember this. Sanders who actually missed about a half of a game injured down the stretch last season after Jordan Howard. went out was three and fantasy. So this isn't really new nowhere. He was already playing pretty sizable role and I mentioned the opposition. The bengals so far this is what they've allowed to running backs on the ground thirty three carries one hundred and forty eight yards and one touchdown in week one and then last week thirty two carries two, hundred, ten yards and three touchdowns to Cleveland third-most fantasy points running back so far. Great Matchup Workhorse running back underpriced. This is all you want in your defense running back. I'm GonNa, mention somebody else. It's going to hurt for me to say this but Kenyan drake on the Detroit Lions. Only six thousand dollars listen drake is one of five running backs with sixteen carries and two receptions in each of the first two weeks he's getting a ton of opportunity, right? The volume that we absolutely love going against wake recharged talked about a tough lions defense we washed with Aaron Jones Jamal Williams and that running game from Green Bay to them last week. I think for six thousand dollars here. I love Kenyan Drake for this price. The only thing that I wonder if they get up so big if they may be to you know or save any time. I'm not worried about that going into this though I think that he's going to have an an awesome game against this banged up lines defense. Give me Kenyan drake six thousand dollars. GimMe a couple more running backs through the you like yeah. Let's see here. I. Remember these are the other great values. So some of them are going to repeat what you guys said which is, can you drake is next on the list second best value I. Think Behind Mile Sanders Joe mixon against the eagles. Volume there these little underpriced Jonathan Taylor who AL mentioned Dalvin Cook Against Tennessee, as he elliott at Seattle and Josh Jacobs if he plays, he is questionable at New England K.. Are we going to move onto wide receivers we talked about this I brought up Cam Newton earlier on in the podcast linked him as quarterback option Mike you like some of his wide receivers here going up against the raiders both Nicole hairy and bird potentially as opportunists. Yeah. Look. I tried to kind of talk myself out of this because it's you know it's Cam Newton. The is one passing touchdown so far as well as he's played. They had throw the ball ton against Seattle right to keep up and you saw production is I'll get to earn a second from the receivers but. So many nervous because he run so much at the goal line and easy and throw it enough if they're heading in this game against the raiders but here's the thing. Especially in a tournament setting or in punt situation in cash. Throw. It away. These guys are so cheap and there's a lot upset here. He'll Harry's forty, two hundred. Demure Bird is three thousand. Okay and why are these guys interesting. Well, Harry's price out to outside the top fifty receivers as mentioned birds at the floor. Harry was a first round pick last season. He's in his second year eighty two percents share so far basically fulltime player a twenty nine percent target share, which is like number one receiver workhorse usage for sure he's. Already, he's tenth that receiver in targets receptions love that. To Mir Bird has run sixty two of a sixty six possible routes he's basically the number one receiver so far. For. The Patriots in terms of usage at zero targets in one but had six catches for seventy two yards on nine targets last week. and. I also should add this. I meant just mentioned a touchdown concerns with Kim five of their six touchdowns happened Russia's so far that'll regressed like fifty fifty or forty, five, fifty, five something like that. So they will throw more touchdowns. Going forward and look the raiders slowdown the saints last week we saw that but there was no Michael Thomas there they were destroyed by Carolina's receivers in week one. So potentially, it could be a good match up again. It's just there is some upside here and they're so cheap. Yeah that you can put them in your lineup and just spend up better players else right couldn't pass on talking about both those guys. Another floor player that I know that you are really excited to talk about this week Caja hamlet from the broncos taken on the buccaneers talk to me about this three thousand dollar Caja Handler. Okay so I'm going to try and keep this sink as possible when you're putting in a stone minimum three, thousand dollar wide receiver on draftkings. It's okay if they miss quote value, right we talked about we want like three times the amount of points for every thousand that you're spending. So like nine to ten points would be considered value for this player. But let's say he does what he did last week last week eight, point seven draftkings points one, hundred, seven air yards he was targeted seven times. Driscoll obviously taking over back and he historically as a quarterback who spreads his targets pretty evenly from wide you one, two, three running backs and tight end so. Nobody really gets the lion's share when Driscoll's quarterback. So if he's gonNA run as many rows, you did last week thirty one. It's going to be very hard for him to kill your lineups whether it's cash or tournament. We saw somebody come in second in week one in the millionaire maker with a zero from Robert Tanya N-. I. Don't think he's GonNa Post Zero if he post four and a half points missed by four points, but it allows you to spend up at other places and because of his profile, he cops to somebody like the Sean Jackson. He has that big splash ability. If he can get loose behind, the defense can happen to find him with twenty five point upside for minimum salary here with a floor of like six sign me up. Sign me up to one hundred, percent one, hundred percent. He's a, he's a terrific play for all the points at laid out. I mean I was surprised he came in after missing all that time and just played such a huge role. I. Couldn't believe it. So no question about it he will not be prices low going forward. I'm GonNa go the opposite direction here just to talk about if you want to spend up at wide receiver this weekend I don't know how you don't talk about Andre and what he's done seventy nine hundred dollars in Arizona's implied total is close to thirty points right now..

"Contract issue for him? Next year. Right. For Jaded Yeah James Garner is on the last year of his contract. where it it's tough going with these two players because I think the McCoy can just. Get into the starting role through. Through someone else messing up, you can just or play his way into the starting role Benny Snell Do Thinking about Fab, your your free agent. Budget where you're you're trying to get these guys off the waivers. James Connor goes, down Mrs Time get wins vacation whatever how hard are you going after Benny Snell I what kind of a of a drop are you putting well on him? The difficult part is that we were here. In a way, right? Like it's cool to have a camp report that you look good. But we were here we James Connor mistime. We. We Benny Snell was on rosters. It wasn't great I mean it wasn't something special now big Ben was air and he looked the narrative street. But because we haven't seen each now come in and we don't know of Anthony McFarland gets work and we don't know if. You know how good he looks. It's hard to you know Fab wise. Yeah I mean people would spend up. If you knew he was gone for the year, I don't know if he's somebody that I'm looking at betting on a week one injury he's at he's trash nut stashed from I'm not I would not staff if if week one, Ronald Jones and James Connor were to go down I would certainly put my waiver claim or the more. Yes. FAB On. Benny, smells. So he's he's a stash from me. I don't know if I would. From the pass catching. Sure that could be an issue You know I mean, look he he wasn't great. He had three weeks last year the second half of the year when he got the opportunity where he was a top twenty, one, twenty, four back. RB Tour better but they were I mean they were in the eighteen th they weren't all a bunch of carries and write a couple of, but again, I mean you were playing without a quarterback was terrible offense that had no scoring opportunities every single game. Let's go to wide receiver Curtis Samuel stashower trash. Last year he was the Godwin was the season hype train that paid off Samya was the offseason hype train that. When into a ravine I mean it was not good for your fantasy roster. So are you looking? Post hype sleeper rebound situation for Curtis Samuel or does the acquisition of Robbie Anderson just kind of muddy those waters entirely stash your trash late round courtesy. Samuel. Shot I would you let me put it this way while you're thinking about it. Okay. Would you believe it? If you start if you start the year with a good Curtis Samuel Game. Really buying. that as anything more than. That is an excellent point of. I just talked about this yesterday like that confirmation week one bias it's it. It hits me right in the heart of draft Curtis Samuel late and he explodes week one I've done it. Then, and again I you suckers at the draft did not take Samuel I have you will never get him on your team is with me until the end. So that's unfortunate part of if you draft Curtis Samuel any and he hits on week one, it's the heart will go all in on Curtis Samuel and I think I have to protect my heart from that actually happening. So I am not going to be drafting Curtis. Samuel it's funny you sorry. If he had a good week one would you be in I think I would almost be upset because that'd. Be like well, I, I don't I don't trust it enough to St- to learn your lineup the next week. So put them in my lineup the next week, but now I can't cut him I mean maybe you could train them that'd be great. I would be willing to trade him in that situation, but there's a lot of quality mouths to feed their. You know Dj Moore's going to be the one with Robbie Anderson there and and Christian. McCaffrey Curtis Samuel has some big games but I don't think he's going to be reliable duty prefer Curtis Samuel or Robbie Anderson I would prefer. Robbie Anderson. Just. Because of the money, the the system he actually has more familiarity with this system from college. So you know it's one of those where I don't think I want the Curtis Samuel, but it's it's hard for me to say that because if you just say, do you believe in talent of Kurt assimilable? Yeah. Do you believe that the Carolina Panthers Teddy? Bridgewater could surprise and be a decent office? Yes, I do. So those things point media believe that courtesy could be anything more than the number three option in that offense over the course of the year no no, and that's the PROB. Here's the first stash for me. Nikiel Harry. Okay Receiver for the New England Patriots. Okay. the connection between him and Cam Newton and camp is reported to be very good. Yes. And I want the stash at the end of the draft where week one could validate a season long trend or serve to potentially. Signify A season-long. Trent if not kill Harry comes out and let me give him a stout line. Let's say he goes six for one, hundred and ten and one. Oh, my goodness in week one. Right. I can see the path to kill Harry is the is the one valuable target in that offense for the rest of the season. That's what I'm looking for. At the end of the draft I, am looking for upset I'm looking for ceiling, and if I don't get to kill Harry he will find his way to the. Is there any way that Nicole hairy could be the number one option in that offense even with in there I think there is a way that that happens. I certainly am not projecting that and I have not really liked the camp reports. You know there's there's some camp reports talking about others good connection there. The majority of camp reports on Harry by himself is that he's had mental errors and has not always looked very good. So it's not been a glowing camp for to kill Harry but your point Andy of you gotta look at what happens week one. For any of these guys if they just go out and stink. Well. Okay. We cut. But what if they go out and a good week? Does it help your roster? It into someone that you believe you could start does it turn into someone that the league will validate and say I could trade for him and I think, Nicole, Harry does and I want to remind people what fancy relevance meant to a Cam Newton target in Kelvin Benjamin because you have been Oh Benjamin was fancy relevant equated to a fifty percent catch percentage sixty three and seventy three receptions in the to relevant years nine touchdowns seven touchdowns to kill Harry can catch sixty three passes for seven touchdowns. On fifty fifty percent of his targets six four. Five. Dude and the first round capital back set up. Yeah and You Know Fun Trivia fact here that I'm just finding out to kill. Harry born in Toronto. Canada. or or? That changes things stagnant. Now now mustache for sure. All right. So wait final answer them to kill Harry Stash Trash I think he's a stash Anastassia. Okay. Let's there's one before you move on. Because, we're talking about all these wide receivers that are going right in the same area. There's one guy that I would put ahead of both of those two for me as my stash and that'd be pursued Perriman. Really. Yes. Very. Hurt Right now. Yeah. I mean that is an issue but are the jets are very hurt right now Chris Herndon is very hurt right now and my point you know we we talk about Jameson target and saying he's the only guy there. No, but Bershad Perryman did the devante Parker last year he at the end of the season, he looked like what he was drafted to be goes and signs in a vacated Robbie Anderson spot..

"You know but going to the Super Bowl at the practice again. Denver for that week and then go long and Fan Diego and wore Miami or practices. We can go in the warm Tampa. Ooh That was so there's no bones nights so imagine practice practicing in that year round. Yeah it will make a huge difference. I think the biggest difference is is that when those guys were nicked up code military had gotten practice. If they'RE LIVING UP IN TAMPA LL be as they're gonNA take the day off. Get healthy get your mind right. Get your body right. Let's be ready to roll on on Sunday. Okay so we look at the Tampa. Bay buccaneers next year might not have enough training camp to get to know Brady. That was my only significant concern going into next year when I thought they could be twelve and four in. Obviously if there's an abbreviated camp because of the situation we're all in. We don't even know exactly if or win the regular season will start but if it starts on time with abbreviated preparation at least. Brady. This is what I love the most about this to your point got a guy. He knows by heart that he trusts that. When Rob Gronkowski runs a route huby exactly weary supposed to be when he's supposed to be there and that Brady Controller at last year. It looked like he couldn't trust what was happening with. Sue or with Nicole Hairy. He would look at them. Like what are you doing? Because they weren't yet on the same page. He was always on the same page with Rob Gronkowski high football. Iq and right away. It'll be like riding a bicycle. They'll be right back on that same page on a bicycle built for two and even if it can only help let's just say in the red zone as a six foot six two hundred sixty or seventy pound target bully for him and again. It looks like he's lost some weight. Is that a good thing is. He goes into his early thirties yet. Could be a good thing. Maybe he's not the best blocking tight end as he used to be in football. And that's okay. Maybe he's just a pretty good blocking tied in occasionally. Maybe you need to flex. More blame in the slot is sort of a caused by just bigger wideout. That's okay because Brady depends on him. Brady trust him. And all the sudden you've got one weapon who's completely in sync with Tom. Brady and that's the best thing about this. That Brady got his own guy as they go into. Maybe a quicker start to the season that anybody would like when. I look at.

There are a lot of things that really were No intriguing to me about the organization and you know the players and the coaches and the willingness of everyone to try to accomplish with the goal of playing football is which is the win. You know I'm going to try to do everything I can in my position and what. I'm responsible for to make that happen and you know I've got a trusted. Everyone else is doing the exact same thing. So that part. It's if no different from you know what I've experienced You know for twenty years in my own role Brady also talked about when he decided to leave the Patriots. It was really you know the night that I had like Bein broke with mastercraft in Ashli Comoran theme and and we spoke and we had a great conversation. You know and I just want to express You know the what he's meant to me and my life and and And we spoke with coach ballot. Check the same time. We were different locations. We talked to him and it was a great conversation and And got it's got a chance to talk to Jonathan Kraft as well and you know. All three of those guys have been involved in so many important decisions in my life but career related personal related. I don't know if he decided that night. When he went to see Mr Craft or it was already decided my gut feeling is and I. I only heard this from one source who said that. Tom Knew that he was going into say goodbye to Mr Craft. That he he owed it to him and he wanted to say it face to face with him couldn't do that with bill. Check went in did the right thing but in his mind. And that's why some of the members of the media New England. I thought were blind to this that no. Tom Doesn't know where he's going now. Tom Knew where he was going. Because he went in there and was able to confidently walk out of there knowing where he was going and whether it was going to be any time soon that he was going to announce it my gut feeling and from what I was told is. Tom Already knew where he was going when he went into. See Robert Kraft you know maybe that semantics. Maybe it's minutia. Maybe nobody cares. You're not gonNA hear anything from Brady personally about this. You'll hear from people who speak to people in Brady's camp and then maybe we get some spin on this. You're probably not gonNA hear much on the side from Bill Belichick. You'll hear it from Robert Kraft because Robert Kraft is spinning this that. Hey I love Tommy wanted to keep Tommy's like a son to me but you know what we decided what's best for him and we certainly understand that and thank you for the memories. That's the spin he's going to have and has had Bella check doesn't care put out the nice little PR move. And he's moving on his next press conference when he's asked about this moving on to Jerusalem. He wants to talk about the players who are on the team. He's not going to be going. Yeah let's take a trip down memory lane with Tom Brady. He's moved on so is Brady. The people around them might have something to say about this. And I'm still curious about it because I do think there was bad blood. I don't think he enjoyed playing with the Patriots even though they were winning he already established his legacy greatest quarterback of all time in the conversation. Greatest Player of all time and nothing in New England was going to enhance that. If you go Tampa and now you do something where you take them to the playoffs. You have a really good year. Maybe you take him deep into the playoffs. That seems like we expect bill to do. Well I don't know if people are expecting brady to do well with Tampa Bay with Bela check belt spellcheck in the Patriots there with Tom. Going TO TAMPA. I think I said she other going to win. Ten and lose in the opening round. You'd probably say that's a pretty successful season. I'm curious about picking Bruce Arians because of the offense. This is something that Bruce Arians does. Bruce Arians likes to throw the football down the field. Now that didn't play to Jameis Winston strength even got great arm. He's got a lot of talent but he made mistakes. And those mistakes get magnified amplified the further down the field. You throw the Football Brady and Jameis Winston. This is the distribution of passes by yards downfield last year. Behind the line of Scrimmage Brady Twenty. Five of his twenty-five percent of his passes were behind. The line of scrimmage fifty percent were between one and ten yards so seventy five percent of his passes were ten yards or less. Jameis Winston had sixty percent of his passes. He got in trouble with the eleven to twenty yards. That's where twenty six percent of Janus Winstons passes were thrown so seventy five percent of Brady's throws were within ten yards of the line of scrimmage third highest percentage in the NFL Jameis Winston sixty percent. That was the lowest in the NFL. Bruce Arians likes to throw the ball down the field for instance. When he was with the steelers they were first in the league in passes or average yards downfield per attempt. I with the colts when he was there. First with the cardinals. Second the buccaneers last year. I they're going to throw the ball down the field now. Braiding is obviously better than Jameis. Winston Smarter quarterback and more accurate quarterback. Does Bruce Arians change that philosophy because it felt like Brady was. That was their running game was their short passing game. But I'm curious about Bruce Arians offense and I'm GONNA ask him about that when he joins us. Do you change your philosophy at all with Brady. They're playing to his strengths but he'll join. Us coming up mclovin. You got a poll question for me this morning. Yeah I have a couple of CAM NEWTON OPTIONS. I'm GONNA give you two teams to give you different choices if you're in the Jaguars you want to go with Gardner and hope he's good go with garments. You hope he's bad and get travel. Lords of Justin fields next year or take a risk and go with Cam Newton. I don't know what Jacksonville store and if you said that they're going to be a team that is going to be tanking for. Trevor. I get if I'm Jacksonville. I need something there and that would make a look if you're looking at placing him if you're the NFL. You WanNA play. Trevor Lawrence. Where would you want to place him? Jacksonville I need to help out that franchise plus if I take Trevor Overseas and play some games in London you know. He's a draw. That makes a lot of sense. If I wanted to play somebody with Trevor Lawrence it would be Jacksonville. What other questions mclovin okay? Same question for the chargers. Would you rather go tyrod Taylor and a draft pick or go tyrod Taylor and Cam Newton? I think you need both because of camps health. Well tyrod Taylor is a band aid. And he's GonNa know that he knows that. The chargers are going to draft a quarterback. If I go tyrod Taylor and Cam Newton. I don't think that works out. Because Cam and his mind's going to go in if camps healthy he's going to at some point he's going to say I'm healthy. The tyrod Taylor struggles that to me feels like that. Could that could detonate. So no I would do tyrod Taylor. And I'd go just in Herbert. And then I try to build off that rookie quarterback salary. What else can we go? Okay Alpha Adam. Schefter yesterday Would you postpone the NFL draft if you're the NFL teams are saying they're at a competitive disadvantage? Yeah I get this Andrew Brandt smart guy says as with free agency. Nfl seems determined to power through the draft on scheduled dates despite pushback from decision makers in parentheses general managers without an event to stage draft. Timing seems flexible. Why not push the day? Well that's the K. What Andrew pointed out. It is an event this this is this. Tv show that the NFL wants to put on here. And can you do your job? And I WANNA ask Bruce. Arians that as well. How difficult is this? If you're not around these players not able to go to pro days. You're scouts aren't able to go out like it feels like. You're you're kind of handcuffing. Some of these people that their job is their jobs. Depend on who you're drafting and are you allow allowing them to do their due diligence here. That's the only reason why I would stop the draft if you WanNa do it teleconference you WanNa do it. You know where your skyping whatever technology you have I get it and you're still going to get a big number probably a bigger number because of this because there's no other sports on TV but if you don't allow these scouts. These these coaches and these players to showcase their talents then I would push that draft. What else okay. If you're Bruce Arians when you find out you have Tom. Brady is part of you nervous. I was GONNA ask you more excited or nervous. But is the expectation a negative thing in if for coach getting Tom Brady why I think you? GotTa be pretty excited. I wouldn't be nervous after having Jameis Winston because because now I know at least I have a guy who will take care of the football. That's like that's your first goal like you want to make sure that guy doesn't lose games. He doesn't beat himself here. And that's what you had with James Winston Bruce Arians had to go into every game going. I have no. He could throw for five. He could get picked off for five. I don't know with Brady now. You move on to something else with the offense or maybe it's something with the defense. You're not worried about that nervous. No I don't think we're GONNA go Bruce Arians. You couldn't win Tom Brady. They're going to win. The question is how much are they going to win? Yeah mclovin but didn't you say that James Swinton could do some things Long Ball is Tom. Brady can't do I WANNA see. I WanNa see if Brady has somebody who can get open ten yards down the field because part of the reason why he had all those dump off passes. You had a bank to offensive line and you didn't have anybody who stretched the field. I mean there were waiting for Nicole hairy to be that star. There's no GRONK. There element is thirty. Three coming off an injury. Now you've got guys who can make place to good tight ends to good wide receivers now. He's got options. He might even go. That guys open but that guy's really open. That'd be something that would be rare for Tom in the last few years. Yeah Paulie we have Bruce Arians coming up. How do you think he was informed that Tom Brady was interested or had decided you think? Tom Calls them people. Middlemen the GM. How how do you think that works? I don't know if Tom Recruited Arriens airings recruited Tom. I'M GONNA ask him about that. Coming UP MATT IN DETROIT JOINS US. Hey Matt what do you have for me today? Dan Come on man. Just buccaneers. Receivers are so good. Chris Godwin is probably.

"Because you don't pay given to Buffalo. Hey Patriots you'll beloved home. This is about the page about the Patriots. And I'd I'd like Oprah you'll get you'll get a meal. Get AOL skill come on. Let's be real what we're starting to see is that what was unthinkable. Two who three years ago blitz and Tom Brady Beedon. Everybody brings gas owning. Because he's the worst staff pro football bullets. Tom Brady is the worst quarterback when pressure in the entire NFL. Now this is what we know about the Patriots offense. The Patriots offense the last four weeks they got seventeen points are just the eagles defense. Eagles defending deepest gave. What thirty seven to ramp? Patrick they got thirteen to a cowboy. Defense the cowboys deflategate. What thirty one? Mitchell trubisky the Texans. They got twenty two against the Texans drew lock in his second start. Hung thirty eight on them. Oh the cheese and maybe achieve did not Tennessee. Hang Forty on them skip. Oh my um your offense isn't very good. Yeah your paycheck. Your Tom Brady so if you Tom Brady you root for the Patriots. You make I'm not GonNa let you off the hook Let me jump on the hook right now. Because I'm really getting bored over. Go here you ready. Mongolia you cut me off every time would you please hawk for like eight minutes. Can you see you keep asking nationals that. I mean Andrew when I started talking. You lose you do this every time when the cowboys Lou. The Patriots lose I'm bored. I don't be disrespectful and do Pinto. No no no. No you go you because all you do with every time you lose. You're such the four Louisville speak. I just WanNa talk about what really happened in the football game. Oh did ask me what and good so you go you go. Somebody's GONNA pout. Dongo power but I'm just saying every okay mic. Is Her we turn. The Patriots obviously would've won on that football game. If that referee had made that call that was right in front of his too is. It's right there for a guy named named Joanna Monro. He's in his fifth year of refereeing in the national football league. A graduate of the University of Arkansas and he is standing in perfect perfect position to make the call of the game that we saw in the late window yesterday afternoon and it was a good inch of separation. You could see a whole inch of green between the white clete and the white boundary my right about that. Did anybody have any doubt wrote that. He was in balance. It's as clear as a bell and he is standing as the side. Judge right on top of it. How can you miss that call? And then and furthermore to top off this gross negligence as gross incompetence if if all scoring plays a reviewed. Why can't all potential potential will? He hit the pylon. So you should look at it Wa because because he lied Blewett any standing this is what drives me the craziest craziest. He's right on top of any waves his hand and he points to the two yard line. Like what are you doing for the clete. Come within like a micro. It grow fraction of the boundary. Did Not there's a whole inch. Nobody thought that he was anything but inbounds. So why couldn't bill belichick challenge challenge that play because he was out of challenges. So why don't we live because he challenged the first play with three zero seven left in the third quarter who and what. It was thirty four from the thirty five mahomes hit Sammy Watkins and for what was called a four yard gain five yards actually but the ball all did not break the plane of the line to gain so technically Bella check was right about challenging that call but he did that part. What did he challenge? No challenge both parts also challenged pass interference. But who cares about that. All you cared about did the ball break the playoff and it clearly does not but you know and I know that you cannot challenge that referee crew on the field or that guy up in the press box in less blatantly across the line to gain and it was not blatant it. It was clear but not crystal clear. So he's going to lose that so that call stood will lead to the next call. Lord have mercy on this one. So it's this is near the end of the third quarter and this is such an outrageously prematurely blown whistle on the Travis. Have this Kelsey play. I thought that they had all been schooled. All the referees. Just let it ride. If you're not sure don't blow don't shoot. Don't hit your whistle before you know what's happening. Because clearly the ball was way out before his knee or body was down and so the ball is loose. I'll be the first to say I'm not sure that Stefan would scooped in scored on that play because it looks like there are three chiefs Arolla voting I know because that would have been a problem. Nat into other chief. So I just don't know. Oh that Stefan could've scored. I don't care about that. All I cared about is that bell check had one challenge left in his back pocket and he throws up his hands because he knew knew he had to challenge again. He'd already lost the first one and he loses the second one bom gone and you know what was coming. Some play was going to come. Yeah he was nailed. It always happens that way so that brings us to what happened with thirteen. Twenty two left in the third quarter and it should should have been twenty three to twenty but here we went with the play to Nikial hairy and again. It's it's so outrageously asleep blatant that you've got to get this call right because it's going to change the whole flavor the game going forward. That's thirteen twenty two left in the game and you know what had happened. It should should've been twenty three to twenty at that point. The script had been completely flipped. Just for those who lost track. It is blocking the back at the wrong time and I think so. The point is that after the chiefs just for those who lost touch who hate Tom. Brady like the God cross me. Does which with about midway through the third quarters eight fifty left in the third quarter mahomes lead them to a field goal that made it twenty three to seven Kansas City from that point on. That's more than half of the third quarter. And all the fourth quarter guess what your homeboy be transcended throw the football. He managed his offense a grand total of forty five more yard because they want blocked punt fumble in fourth quarter punt punt. The Code Code had been cracked especially by the Patriot defense and also by the Patriot often. Well guess what the yards were in the fourth quarter order Tom. Brady's offense had one hundred twelve yards to Patrick mahomes twenty one yards just in the fourth quarter. So if you give them the Nikiel Harry with thirteen twenty two left the the dynamic completely flips all the sudden the pressure is on the chiefs who are on their heels. Because it's a twenty three to twenty game name. What about looking over you say? The dynamics flip end in the end. The visitors outgained the home team by seventy yards. No but in the fourth of course one twenty-one I'm sorry one twelve to twenty one was give Cain you had does a hole so deep though well twenty three to twenty with thirteen twenty two who left the game has got a deep hole. They dug completely out of that hole. What would you get from twenty three to twenty Nikila scores? Will he did. You're saying what if what if you get enough. Did he earned it. He earned them in the wrong. Call what you say yes or no right or wrong. I WanNa hear it the hall of Famer visual no right or wrong. What's your what's your opinion? Not The patriots always say on. Obviously you thought go home. Oh what about the Winnebago's play where he landed all his body weight on. There could be a challenge that I would agree with that that would have given the I down. This was points on the floor. He was done. He hit the pylon. So here come the Patriots and finally took three quarters to figure this out. Steve Steve spagnolo is blitzing. Seventy five percent of the time because Tom Brady has nobody to block. Even Isaiah win was Isaiah lose. Yesterday he couldn't block anybody and all of a sudden in the fourth quarter. Josh mcdaniels. Tom Said you know what maybe we should start. Keeping everybody in so they start keeping both tied ends in and finally in the him twice they kept Julian Edelman in to block the blitz just sent to receivers out. Don't keep sending five five out because you don't even have time to get the ball away so finally when Tom Brady had some time to throw and it didn't happen until later start at the fourth quarter. Her he started to pick them to pieces here. They K- how you speak somebody to pieces when nineteen thirty six four hundred sixty nine yards one twelve twelve in the fourth quarter so until being here fifty seven yards would. Wouldn't you agree with the momentum had completely flipped to the Patriots in the fourth quarter. Do Do you know what do you realize how the chiefs would have been on their heels. If they'd known we got to defend the field goals opposed to just the in zone for the touchdowns and by the way if if they had just been forced to kick the field tied at twenty three all I would have loved the Patriots and overtime. I would've loved them because they had everything. Going join head cracked a code. Ma homeboy was not moroder boy. He was really struggling mistake. And do you have your first goal at the three. Yeah okay what happened and by the way thank you for bringing that up as it was first goal to three thank you for that. Yes what happened. On second and goal I know exactly what happened on the Kobe Myers happened remember. This is an undrafted rookie. Free Agent North Carolina State. You gotTA catch this. It hit him right in a stomach. Tom Brady throws a dart and it hits him right in the stuff that's a touchdown stomach. If you weren't yeah you gotta catch that ball you gotta throw a better pay tall. How maybe throw it to yourself? Better Pay Jacoby Myers time two four six three in the forty. That's why you went undrafted. Guess guess what he caught one ball yesterday and guess what it was it was on the trick. Play from James White. That's all you got Mohamed. Sanu caught one. I'm ball yesterday. One Ball are you kidding me and you know what they could've had Emmanuel Sanders. He caught seven for one hundred and fifty-six at New Orleans. I guess that's what I guess. Do thank you you're right. You're dead right because guess what five games has a grand total of one hundred and thirty five yards receiving leaving Emmanuel Sanders Sanders. One game at New Orleans had one fifty six. He looks like a bona fide. LEGIT number one out Tom. Brady's he's got nothing what he's doing you guys everybody. Does this every time. Tom Brady. Luke horrible he I I just want to know one thing. Yeah when they weird. Julian element is a hall of Famer. When they lose the half nobody either he is or he isn't James Fourteen paths in the Super Bowl which record that the same guy and now you got okay so yeah and by the way? I tweeted this before the game. So I I guess this yesterday should have been all all about Nicole Hairy I said the Patriots only openness game is he has to grow up right before your very eyes. Did you see what one athletic play. Did you see all day from any patriots receiver. It was that fifteen yard gain. That should have been a pylon touchdown. Did you see that that. That's I saw electric drink. I saw scintillating. I saw an athlete. And guess what he's six four to twenty five. Maybe go air air zone say. Let's see that was the most sensational play the game. Guess how many snaps Nikiel Harry got yesterday. Helped me out here too. He was on offense to snaps the whole freaking gay. Hello hello what are you doing you know doing. Just the eland Target One category touch just the Eagle over high you like what are you doing more. You said you needed to see more at the Texans. He got his one shot early in the game. He didn't fight hard through all the got and he went the dog. So now you want to see more again at what point in time whereas Tom Brady who they got they got to run. Gadget plays right throws that should have won the game. That was a touchdown to Jacoby Myers knowing just keep going because off the dirt and then he throws up to dorset and it's just such an outrageous. Just I'm thinking the referee they want to eliminate the dynasties that they went in as a group because that throat a Philip door said he just gets like put in a straitjacket. Hit by the DB. And it's just you don't call that you got to call this so now of.

"Because I already pretty novel that one for now. The Patriots suffered their first loss of the season. Seventeen points to the Ravens on Sunday yesterday. Yesterday Tom Brady said new. England can't get too high or low based off their last game. Check out what the QB had to say. You just have to ignore the hype and when everything's thanks great it's really not and when everything's bad it's really not you have to evaluate these weeks. Really what they are. You know even though we've been winning a we've certainly know that it hasn't been Brite and that we're just this unstoppable team and we have to play good that's ultimately what it comes down to it now. Joined by Fox fell analyst. Eric Men Genie. Good Morning Corning now knowing that you were Pella checks right hand man after this loss. How concerned are you about the Patriots? I think Tom Distant capsulated the Patriot treat way in a very short sentences. You don't get too high you don't get too low. Anyone things are good. They're not really good. And there's there's issues and you look at last game name and it was. It wasn't consistent with the way that they do things to have the Encroachment penalty on the fourth. Down which sets up the touchdown. Then you've got atoms fumble and then you've got Tom. Brady's interception which really is is completely uncharacteristic because he just threw it up there and to be out I'm to lose the emotional game early in that as well but all those things are are not in line with with the way that that they do business. Now that being said the problems they have have a real the problems they have in the offensive line though those are real and they're not going away and they really haven't faced anybody in that first part of the season except maybe for the browns is that that could create problems and you saw the bronze a chance to win that game if they could have gotten out of their own way and then now you're going to Baltimore the issues they have. They're losing their tight end GRONKOWSKI's one component of that. But then he was Mike Devlin the titan slash fullback not having consistent kicker. Tom's ability under pressure this year has been down substantially in terms of completion percentage. The running the ball for almost a yard less than they historically have they're they're going to struggle struggle and There's GonNa be a lot of hurdles for them to overcome especially over the next four five weeks where they've got really challenging opponents totally different and then what they saw in the early part of the season and this team is going to have to evolve like they traditionally do to fix the problem and at that fix a problem. But can you do to disguise the problems that they inherently have well. I was always concerned because I don't think the offense play with exceptional. Skip with the first game Pittsburgh. I don't think the offense is really played particularly well. The defense has been outstanding but my question was always the man who they played. Play Bay marginal quarterbacks than we've taken full advantage of that I think the thing that will concern coach. Bela check even though they gave up. Seven yards a carry against Cleveland. We was more concerned about the passing game. And so you you hitting up at the end of the game. You're running draws and things of that nature the ravens rush for two hundred ten yards when you know. That's what the Ravens want to do. So that's ask what's going to be most upsetting with him. He prize himself. He loved. You know coach he loves big linebackers. You play to gap because you want to shut down the run and they. They ran whenever they want to. They got as many yards and they wanted to. And this is what's GonNa concerning the hill. He likes guy can sit to age. Well when Lamar Jackson WANNA turn edgy. Edgy got the age when Mark. 'em whatever he wanted he got that's GonNa be upsetting with him like you said they got some teams that compose impose. This offense of this deepened. Some problems moving forward the cowboys. 'cause they can run it and they can throw it the eagles. It will be a problem for them when they come out this by week. That's that's GonNa be a problem so they have some teams that can export some of their weaknesses. And you have a team the cowboys and the Eagle somewhat can get out to you now and I've told skip this. Tom Is not played as well as Tom would have liked to play. I think sometimes we get a Namur with with their eight. No seven and no and and Tom Brady the quarterback but if you look at his plate his play has been down from where it was the last several years. And there's no way to skirt that and when you can't run. This is kind of hard to hide your quarterback with some of the flaws that he has especially in his later years. You Still Tom Brady. But when you can't run the football football and you can protect yourself with you asking for trouble so all year. You Sat in that chair last year instead. Tom Brady is in dangerous decline Klein. And I'm going to remind you of some of the losses. They suffered at Jacksonville was embarrassing. They lost at Detroit. Remember that they blew the game in the in on the last play at Miami. They went to Tennessee in. Just got blown off the field. They got embarrassed at Tennessee and they did lose at Pittsburgh so there are a whole bunch of losses. Going on where you're over there just saying I'm not seeing the same brady anymore. And then all of a sudden it got late in the year and they clicked and all of a sudden would've typically they led the league playoffs in rushing with Sony. Michelle who right now is either banged up or slumping or in bills doghouse. Something's is wrong with him because he just he didn't even remotely resemble what he was during the playoffs last year. That has a lot to do with an offensive line that you can just patch up so so many times and even the Dante Scar Nekia can't work his magic. When you just don't have enough ability when you lose a potential pro bowl left tackle a first round? I'm picking Isaiah Win. And you lose the anchor that line that center David Andrews who might not be a pro bowler but he is the the guts and the brains of that that offense if they counting on a win especially Athletic Trent Brown because Trent Brown had an unbelievable season last year and he parlayed that into big money into to the raiders. And so now you lose the left left tackle which is the most important provision would use as one of the hugest human being. He's say you figure it's an eight soldier. It's Trent Brown this is. This is their fourth left tax breath and then the the center losing him was huge. And then when you talk while Mike Devlin Mike Devons Italy. He did a lot of different things. A lot of damage hickory kick. Here's a is a big got two decades of great kicking cows get and now you've had to in the last two weeks and those super bowls that we were all defined signed by by tremendous kicks. And now you're in a situation where you don't know whether it's going to go in and you gotta make different decisions. Yes but tom's completion percentage under pressures. Thirty thirty three percent were over the last three years. It was about forty nine percent so that's been dramatically different eight who he's been under pressure more than he has been under pressure more than ever in and A. and that's that's an issue. Now the saving grace is whether it's Nicole Hairy or Ben Watson or Muhammed Sue as they take these pieces pieces and these pieces get better within the system. They'll continue to get better. And that's the difference between New England and everybody else is they're not going to beat themselves traditionally personally now Baltimore. We saw some mistakes that they don't usually see so that that's the starting point and they're going to continue to get better and they'll do a great job of disguising skydiving and protecting their weaknesses and exploiting everybody else's weaknesses and that's where the League tends to fall off especially late in the season because they can't keep up with a team that consistently makes progress. Even if it's marginal right like New England does but when I look at New England coach. Correct me if I'm wrong. It gets harder order to continue consistently have to go twelve thirteen. Fourteen plays to get the ball end zone because they don't have big play. Grant was a big play. You know he could go thirty already forty hours now. If it'll move the stick Mahama's a new move. Stick the James Walk Out of the backfield. Moody's Day you coach. Belichick makes teamed named Dr Length of the field. I feel if I make you go consistently thirteen fourteen plays. You'll make a mistake before you get the ball in the endzone. Well that's what happens with New England because they don't have creek quick strike Michael big-play capabilities. Now they're forced to move the ball twelve thirteen fourteen plays it gets. I don't care who you are it gets hard to consistently win games like that when you gotTa bring together all these driving when other teams can hit you with one day play in the first round pick. I think he's going to be a stud receiver for them. He's played zero snap so far this year and I thought he was going to play Sunday night and he did not see the field so all of a sudden. They've added Muhammed Sue. I don't know what your eyes told told you. I didn't see separation bursts from scenario. But that's not what do you look. But he had ten catches they so you had a ton of production it. It won't matter whether he gets a separation it'll just matter whether he's in the right spot consistently which is something that he'll do and the same thing with Julian Edelman the same thing with Ben Watson the people being the right spot. Tom will make the right decision. And as long as you've got people in those spots who can execute on the ball that he throws usually they're gonNA they're gonna be productive and it's a new fits the formula so perfectly because he's a good guy. He's a hard worker he's reliable. He's consistent. He's all those things that you you want. That typically is never available midway through the season. Okay now the other problem that historical pace defense that up front the last two games it look smallish to me. It looked like it was getting bullied by two offensive line's Cleveland's the Cleveland. Went for one hundred and fifty nine yards rushing. It was in a driving having rain and then indefinitely Sunday night they got blown off the ball a bunch of times and obviously Lamar's a special talent and he's hard to contain for any defensive front but I thought it looked extremely vulnerable to stopping the run. Well IT'S A. It's so interesting because for years they were thirty four defense and that's all bill played and and then he realized that there are some value to playing four three and and getting beat by the giants. They did so they transition which to me is the greatest example of of being eagles. Where you can can? You can change something that you've done for twenty five or thirty years because you think something else is better right now that he's calling defense. There's a lot more thirty four showing up and that's GONNA take some time to get consistently good at because they had transitioned out of it so you're seeing more of what bill has historically done as opposed to what they've done over the last few years there's GonNa be some growing pains involved that the other thing is there's a lot of man to man defense when you're in man-to-man defense you don't get the run support from the outside players. So I imagine the start incorporating some more zone to offset that. They've had a decent amount of pressure that the main thing is is there will be a problem and they'll address the problem and they'll keep addressing the problem and they'll keep addressing the problem to where being in those rooms you're GonNa get affects because you're so tired of hearing about needing to get out of here. Yeah Yeah you'll fix it or they'll get someone that will fix uh-huh and everybody has that that realization the way by all accounts thirty two year old Steve Bell Check has been calling the defense at least the last couple of of games make call them the signals..

"A._d._p.'s a bit higher of course you know in our draft grid if you haven't downloaded that we talk about combos to get drama alison n._b._s. Especially this late in that type of offense is great combo to get so he had a lot of games where he just didn't show up because of a rookie situation or non he had he had eight out of his sixteen games half of his games with three or fewer targets so you know snap shares an issue getting on the fields maybe consistencies in issue with route running but it seems like he's playing well. Aaron rodgers is taught them up. He seems to be playing with two receivers sets so i see that maybe the inconsistency not being as much of a factor so yeah definitely definitely a good potential obviously obviously the upsides there and that offense but also if you're in a league with a keeper where you can keep one player at the round you draft him marquis marquez velez gambling n._b._s. c._b._s. Is a not a bad player. I mean this is point in the draft especially if you're in keeper league where that kind of factors in if all things are equal to players <hes> i want to ask you if you take over vallas gambling <hes> nicole hairy going ten point zero two. Would you take him over scandal. Yes or no or taking m._b. Almost zero interesting to kill harry at this point. I don't know i just emmanuel sanders the opposite of of scanlon when we talk about our ben strategy and this is the point draft where you're trying to fill out your bench manual sanders more of the higher floor solid week to week variety eddie less volatility know to expect sanders or scheduling. I'm most likely going to take scant ling sanders definitely a good plug and play a bench guy as we talked about in our last episode listed on our draft read but i don't think he's necessarily got enough you know. I don't know excitement or juice for me to take him over n._b._s. Like i could probably still replace sanders. A couple rounds later so i'll be i'll be l. Let sanders fall on my lap and that's typically what you want to do with the plug and play guys all right well that wraps up the late round players. We've uncovered the elites. The middle rounds and the late round players more to come sure these you know this is going to be very fluid situation. Everybody stock is moving up and downs. We'll have more more communist for sure going pretty busy next two or three weeks but you want to add anything we less yeah. Just just want to follow up..

"Com code football, next up. It's number seventeen New York Giants again this time, they get Dexter Lawrence, huge young man, three hundred and forty five pounds, basically fills the void that was left when the the giants traded snacks Harrison to the lines. And he does provide a little more interior Russia. I think than people realize. Never eighteen the Minnesota Vikings go with Garrett bradberry. Right. And I think what they'll end up doing now is probably move Pat L Flin from center to guard. And that way, you know, they've got a couple of smart athletic is there in the interior L flannel. Probably be the left guard kinda like Nikki stern was before the Saint signed him to that deal that way they'll have both. You know, a couple of guys there. I thought bradberry was absolutely terrific. And that was a good Vikings. Never nineteen the Tennessee titans. Select Jeffrey Simmons. So I mentioned this earlier, it was an interesting reaction here in when they took him because you know, he's a D lineman. That's not supposed to play this year. So that's a weird thing for fans to really get excited about when it's a guy that's actually not detoro wary. He has you know, an incident going back to high school, which is a pretty disturbing one. So. It was a mixed reaction. I will say this a lot of people feel like he's one of the top five players in this draft. So to be able to get him at nineteen. I think that says a lot for the Tennessee titans. And you know, they're basically gonna give them a redshirt year. And think that he's worth it in terms of being a dominant player after that. At number twenty. The Denver Broncos go with Noah Fant. Broncos traded down with the Steelers. We talked about that flacco has a long history with tight ends guys like heap and Dennis Pitta making plays to them. They wanted a guy that could stretch the middle of the field and be good and play action off the running game with Philip Lindsay. And Royce Freeman Fant certainly fits the Bill. He's happy from Iowa not that far from Denver. And I kind of feel the same way about quarterback for the Broncos as I do about antidote. And let's see how flacco goes before you draft a quarterback high. If it doesn't go while you can get one high next year's draft number twenty one the Green Bay Packers select darnold savage, and they traded up they they felt that strongly about savage, and maybe they thought the ravens might take him at twenty two or somebody else. But clearly the Packers loved him. He's a guy that as the process unfolded a little bit more more and more teams, really. Really, like, Darnall savage, the coaches loved them he can fly. He's a running hit safety who's auto good coverage. And man a lot of edge rushers. A lot of safeties for the Packers this off season number twenty two Philadelphia Eagles made a trade with the Baltimore Ravens to get Andre Dillard. He is silky smooth bri-. He he really is. He was the best pass protector in the draft. The eagles throw the ball. Lot. Such good feet, go with his hands. Washington state. Those the ball all the time. And even know it doesn't feel like tackle wasn't immediate need position. You know, one play to lane Johnson or Jason Peters, and it isn't immediate need position. Now for twenty three the Houston Texans. Go with Titus Howard. Right. And you know, Howard's a guy that the Texans closed wanna Dillard, Howard's more of a project. They're going to ask him and throw them in the fire right away. And this this was I mean, we'll see maybe may Mike Devon does a great job with him, and he can be ready early. But this felt like a disaster for Texas team is trying to win now to take tackle from Alabama state whose raw developmental Yikes. Never twenty four the very active Oakland Raiders in this first round take Josh Jacobs. Right. And I think a lot of people already thought this might be the chance that that that the case. But then especially after marshawn Lynch was retiring, I think everybody knew that. This would be the case where the raiders would take Josh Jacobs. I actually thought maybe the eagles moved up ahead of Oakland to get Jacobs when they first moved up. But no it was a head of Texans to get Titus Howard. That number twenty five the ravens get marquees Brown. This is pretty awesome further rate for the ravens to trade down three picks and get the guy that I still think they would've taken at twenty two in Markey's Brown. They lost John Brown and free agency. They needed a speed guy on the outside, and they got it. And I think for all of the RPO stuff that the ravens run to be able to just when teams overload against the run too quick look pass or smoke pass out to the outside the marquees Brown or even play action the deep post as the safety chiefs up cheats up. I love that pick number twenty six to Washington Redskins. Select Montas sweat. And they traded up with the colts twenty picks from forty six to twenty six didn't feel like they really gave up all that much to get one of the top pass rushers in the draft who knows about his heart doctor chowed, and then it was that big a deal. So I guess I don't either number twenty seven the Oakland Raiders again, go Jonathan Abram this time. The probably the biggest hitter in the secondary in the entire draft. And they wanted a guy that helps set the tone on the defensive side of the ball. And that's exactly what Abram does for them. So they bring him in. They have Karl Joseph. This means, you know, lamarcus Joyner will be in the slot. But pretty clear that the raiders are trying to draft football players hard nosed tough physical football players at twenty eight the chargers, go with Jerry Tillery. He was the perfect fit for them. You know, he's long for the defense. They run does a terrific job stacking blockers getting off Megan plays. He gives him some inside rush to go with Bosa as well as Melvin Ingram on the outside. Tom to Lesko has just been seemingly terrific Aaron in year out with his picks and his drafts. I think Tillery is another one twenty nine the Seahawks go with defensive end L J, Collier. They kept trading down a lot over and over. Again, they traded the next pick as well thirty. But here at twenty nine they took Collier, a defensive end that you heard some people like, you know, there's another one that later in the process, the coach is really liked Collier. And there was a need for a defensive end in Seattle after they lost after they traded. Fred Clark to Frank Clark to the chiefs at number thirty. This was the pick. That was originally the saints. Then it was the Packers than it was the Seahawks. And then it was the giants in the giant select the Andre Baker. That's amazing. Yep. Giant moved up with the she hawks to get Baker. He was obviously the top corner on their board. He's the first and only corner that even gone off the board so far. So maybe you could argue that the giants could awaited in the second round and gotten them with pick number thirty seven, but you don't know that and they wanted to get him. And they wanted to get the top guy in their board. And they maybe they saw some value in the fifth year option. So they took him number thirty one the falcons in a trade with the Rams get Caleb mccarey. Yeah. And I love this guy. I love Kayla mcgarry watch his tape. He is a bad bad, dude. I mean, he gets after people, and like I said earlier in the big show they wanted to have a physical element to their football team. And boy they ever and finally number thirty to the New England Patriots go with Nicole hairy. Right. And only the second wide receiver to go off the board other guys like decay Metcalf and Jake Brown others still available. But obviously the patriots felt like Harry was the guy for them. You know, it's a huge need position for them. So they kind of needed to do that. And so I, you know, only time will tell that has been a position where typically the patriots have really struggled to draft guys. Hi, guys, like Chad Jackson, Bethel Johnson. But we'll see maybe this time. They can actually get it. Right. Speaking of wide receivers, by the way, tyreek hill, the audio is out from a conversation with he and his fiancee, it is really ugly. The chiefs of total stay away from all full block titties right now. I'd be shocked if tyreek hill played football this year will see what the chiefs end up doing with him and his right? Writes, but at a minimum, I don't think he'll play football this year. And then the question will be when if ever he ends up playing football, again, really a bad situation is even worse once you actually hear that audio and that'll do it Brian for a finished strong Friday edition of the Ross Tucker football podcast. You guys know I will be back on Monday. Brian I will break down every single teams picks after the second third fourth fifth sixth seventh round we'll go team by team more that way. "But let's okay, I Mattie. I like I I'm a big fan of Akim Butler. Like, you, however is the NFL. Are we sure the NFL we hear people saying that like that Hakeem butlers? Bore of a a implant sixty one that he is at twenty nine for the show the NFL likes in Kiel Harry's run away from me. I heard I here's another nerdy thing about my pre-draft leak process. I listened to a lot of pre-draft press conferences across the NFL. I did. And I can't remember who it was maybe Steve KYW, which so take this for great assault kit. When you'd have a talk about your free time usage. It was in fact, reserva Detenu. Oh, okay. Okay. So Matty knows to Matty did the same thing. I did. That's that's verifiable. Fact, he's listening to all thirty two teams pre-draft press conferences, don't quote me on that. But it's definitely affect so Nicole hairy. I mean like I can't leagues. Draft. Thirty nine. Okay. Is that the first second round? No. But that's his draft range. I think Nicole Harry could be in play four picks beforehand filed before in no. Thirty three or worse. That's the way this is real very quickly where where does the run start, Mattie USA? Use oppose to let me just make comment about key Butler did move on. But instead you were trying to argue with me about in Kiel kit, separate from anybody, Harry and keep baller in. This is not gonna art the runs the start divisible deacon Medco's if decay Metcalf lasts later in the draft like some people are projecting if he gets to the late teens early twenties any team that his starting to get their site settled wide receiver, and that also means that more defensive players often linemen are going before you could see run late in the first round. You could see guys like that calf in Hollywood ground AJ Brown Akeem Butler Algo in the first round if half LASSO now, the differences Metcalf goes the top ten the run that you don't know where to start then teams aren't getting their hopes up for they're gonna give this receiver. They're not just missing out on decay Metcalf. They're gonna wait they're gonna play they're bored with whatever it's going to be. So I really think it's stuff like that does matter and the more receivers they go the more likely you are going to see more of. Continue to go. That's the draft works. It's done runs. It's not everybody. Just just leave a position alone. Third guy gets taken a lot of teams will reach their next guy up at that position. If that if that position was getting pretty lacking. I'm with mad on that entirely. But I need to touch on a couple of things here. First of all now, the Hickey Butler is met son. I have gone ahead and claimed at Oliver second of. Now. Now figuring out why you guys think that I'm some sort of wizard that has a lot of things on his plate. Because y'all just literally sit around and listen to other teams talk like. I spend the this is. Saturday Night Live by Saturday night. Yeah. No, I sit around doing life skills and a figured renaissance of that. Now, guys figured it out. I was just whittling a small bear for my child's bedroom. State fucks. No. But I think it really does hinge on on decay. I know we've heard a lot about Hollywood. I think Hollywood is going to maybe that second guy off the board that that does start the run..

"Salivating. Key. Has the colts. This different hasn't getting Nicole hairy. The why receivers ridiculous. During my Jones from Ohio say another one has Christian Wilkins, go into the patriots. So just congrats enjoy Christian Wilkins just falling to in who's gonna take Christian Wilkins who the Tennessee titans? Probably last year. Mike rebel took every player. Bella check. That's why we traded down for like twelve seventh round picks last year. And it was because fucking Mike rebel kept getting in front of us and taking the I think the only player that titans took that we had no interest in oddly enough was Howard Landry. Of course, pass rusher. No. Thank you. You. I'm looking at yet tightened nineteen one hasn't getting tied in one has been getting receiver a J Brown for moment. Yeah. I'm I'm slick out on or as receivers that aren't Jerry Judy it, you you know, you could pencil in at nineteen Christian Wilkins. For this. We find out Bella check is like aware of him just relatively aware of embracing like trade the fawn. Landry. Corey davis. Two. I whatever. He did it fucking twice last year. Took Rashad Evans in the twenties. Like right before our Bella. Check was just like fine. We're gonna take a fucking guard that we're gonna play a tackle was gonna tear achilles of not even gonna play. And then he took someone else. Fuck limit look at the draft from last year. The pay. I'm just I just I don't know. The only thing I know I have no idea. How Nick both a lock. That's the only thing that feels wild to me. Nissim as a stinking. It really is always scored a point memories. Like, I think he's good. He's a great prospect for sure but a lock. By I'm not he was saying like, of course, I'd argue for Josh. But like and Williams or like if you love Haskins at much like. Phero or again like at Oliver slipped. One of these more of these quarterbacks are going to jump up. Like, drew lock is gonna go like top fifteen. I can't. I mean, we call that last year if he can go somewhere and sit like I want him to I think it I France too early. But if he could go like the chargers and to sit behind rivers a couple years because I don't he's not bad. No, he's not bad. But I do think he's just they've got him going eleven here which real to Washington would fill very if the wrong pick outside. Drew lock goes ahead of at Oliver that team should lose all their graphics. Let's see we're whereas Eddie, Shirley, a must've passed. Okay. Now. This one hasn't going number nine buffalo, which would make defense terrify Sherwood wouldn't care for that. What's it says cow waves retying Oliver considered a top five pick during the college season would be a steel here. Yeah. Would. There are questions about this is and whether you can hold over sixteen game season. This is Aaron Donald all over again. But he's consistently disruptive in both the run and pass game. I throw. Yeah. He's again, it's not gonna change their fortune. But good Lord. I would not wanna face him twice a year for the next ten years or for just like Tom Brady's last two years. He's he's from our final air. I'm gonna kill Tom Brady. Final actors opening act. During warmups. I yeah. I this is this is what dress like this is the it can't be that hard. Right. Like, it's all in the. This has at all we're going nine two. Let's see start. Yeah. Said he slow behind Quinn Williams with his inside pop. I they they just feel like different kind of players to me though. Like, just bigger. Yeah. And you and I both understand like upside and things of that nature, but it. At a certain point. You just have to like look at the entire like last year. Remember when John Elway came out. And he was like we did a thousand mock drafts. And none of them did the fuck in D N from NC state make it to five job. We couldn't believe it. Like, what are you talking about that never crossed your mind? That's again rookie like twelve and a half safe as monster. He was much better than I anticipated. He was incredible to honest, gut like when I was a four I was like, I think the Browns take like Chevron Darwin is too high like, I don't know for like, they're all gonna get dinner. Award was really good to Elliott wasn't as good as either of those guys and for my money. Actually, you know, what I'll take the epic just how it Oliver looks. That's the scary port when Williams six four two ninety five he weighs three thirty and Oliver six three to ninety one. I feel he weighs to sixty.
