A highlight from Michael Saylor: Bitcoin is a Lifeline | EP 835
"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin. It's going up forever, bro. Bitcoin! You're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo, welcome to another episode of Simply Bitcoin Live. We are your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution of corporate breaking news, culture, matic warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Sailor tweeted something very interesting yesterday. Anything when it when you tweet a picture, I really call it a meme, right, because memes are a form of, you know, graphics, memes, they're really what they're forms of transmitting information, transmitting data, right? So I'm just going to call it a meme, even though, you know, by the usual definition, it's not a meme. It's a bunch of statistics, a bunch of data. But for the sake, just to simplify, it was a meme, tweeted a meme about the inflation rates of all fiat currencies around the world. And what he said, the tweet that he said is, if you don't have access to dollars, Bitcoin is a lifeline. I mean, and it's very interesting because if you don't have access to dollars, thing is like, if you have a bunch of piles of crap, right? The dollar is the smallest, less smelling pile of crap, right? It's still crap, but it is the least worst of all of them, right? And what I think is happening, especially in the global south, the developing world, is you are seeing a lot of people adopt alternatives to state money. But the pattern that you're seeing is people aren't really adopting Bitcoin per se. Of course, there's a percentage of Bitcoin adopters, but what you're really seeing is people adopting stable coins, specifically USDT or, you know, the USDC or whatever, any specific type of stable coins that is a US dollar stable coin. And the thing about those things is that they provide a false sense of financial sovereignty. Number one, because they can freeze it. And number two, because I think eventually, due to its centralization, they will inevitably be co -opted. And they still have inflation baked in, right? So like it's a multitude of factors, but this is why this whole thing is going to be multi -generational, right? I truly believe. And the analogy that I always, always use, and I know it's cliche, the movie The Matrix, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but this analogy is so useful. Nio was just exposed to The Matrix and Morpheus and Nio are in the construct and Nio goes into denial and he's like, no, this isn't real. And he goes crazy. They pull him out. He gets out of the chair and he just collapses on the floor and, you know, and he just, he just passes out. He can't believe he can't, it's too much for him to take. And then the next, the following scene, Morpheus is standing over Nio while Nio wakes up and Morpheus looks at Nio and he says, Nio, I apologize. After a certain age, we don't pull people out of The Matrix because it's too much for their minds to, for their minds to handle. And I think it's a very fitting analogy to the fiat matrix. If you've lived the majority of your life using paper money that has faces of old people on it or faces of structures or faces of things, you're used to state issued money. You're used to banking. You're not used to taking self custody of your wealth. It is a very, very radical idea. It's not to say that you can't do it, but it's you have to go through a process of unlearning and then learning something new versus what Naim Bukkela is doing in El Salvador, where he's teaching the next generation about Bitcoin right off the gate. So it's not a process of unlearning. It's a process of learning something new. Now, in my specific career, and I know Opti, I'm pretty sure I'm pretty confident he's experienced the same thing before I bring him up. You know, I've been in Bitcoin basically a third of my life. So I had no idea about the traditional financial system. And so I started making Bitcoin content. And I thought, you know, when you start making Bitcoin content, OK, you're just going to talk about Bitcoin. No, it ends up being this macro geopolitical, you know, because Bitcoin is fundamentally going to change the world. That's why we say in the beginning of the show, separation of money and state. And you have you're forced to learn about the traditional financial system. And holy cow, are you just like in awe, you're just like, do things really work like that? That's absolutely insane. Right. So that's what I got to say is yes, absolutely. If you don't have the dollar, Bitcoin is definitely the lifeboat. But that's not to say that people are choosing Bitcoin. People are using or choosing stable coins, again, because I think that they've been conditioned. Right. I think that they've been conditioned to this, to the belief that the dollar is very, very strong. And in the global sense, like before Bitcoin, you could have made that argument and would have been a solid argument. But I'll ask you guys, it's a very simple question. If you have a currency that is designed to inflate and lose purchasing power over time and can also be censored and confiscated easily by the state versus a currency that is designed to increase in purchasing power over time is censorship resistant. I mean, what what do you think people are going to choose eventually? Incentives matter and Bitcoin incentives are the best. And that's truly believe. That's why I truly believe over the long run, enough people will wake up to that fact and adopt it. Right. Anyway. So we're going to talk about all that today. I know I rambled on for quite a bit, but I want to welcome my very special co -host, always optimistic. He had a dream. You had a dream, bro. You had a very interesting dream. You know, I started the Chrissy thing as a joke. I didn't think it was going to end up here. Yeah. Well, guys, if you didn't see my Twitter and I didn't even make this up, I legitimately had a dream last night that I was battling Christine Lagarde and she was a praying mantis and Claus Schwab was a locust. And I had to. That was a third one. I can't remember the third person. Yeah. I don't remember who it was, to be honest, but there was someone else there and I had to battle them. There was like a full Mortal Kombat scene in my dream where I was battling the unproductive parasite, Sat B. Yeah. I can't make up. This is where my life is. Actually, I mean, I think it's because I watched Prometheus again last night trying to unplug and there's that one scene of like the human spider thing. Anyways, anyways, anyways, that's totally not here nor there. To your point, Nico, it's funny that once I look through the world, through the Bitcoin lens and trying to understand Bitcoin and its place in the world, you start to learn a lot about the traditional financial system, global geopolitical macro. And I think we were having this conversation yesterday. It's like being in Bitcoin is just a crash course in how the normal world works, how all of the adult adults in the room see the world and how the financial system works. And then it's just funny because we always filter everything through that Bitcoin lens. And you're just like, we were saying it to each other, it's like Bitcoin changes everything and it's so simple and everything's so convoluted and so complicated in the traditional financial world. And it's just like, I don't know, fix the money, fix the world. It's just so simple. But it really gives you a crash course on life when you start to understand Bitcoin and you start to understand how Bitcoin works and why the fiat system is broken. And yeah, it just it blows my mind that we have learned about the traditional financial system through Bitcoin. And I never learned that before I found Bitcoin. It blows my mind. One hundred percent. I mean, again, like it's like we didn't have to in a way, you know, like and then I can't even imagine our children like they're going to be born in a world where Bitcoin has already existed. Right. So it's just it's just crazy to think. It's like when we think about our parents, like they were born in a world where the Internet didn't exist. You know, like people still read newspapers. That blows my like I can't even conceive of like, you know, of of that world. But I think the paradigm is is going to be so great because I don't think we've ever lived in a world where the money wasn't issued by the king or the emperor or the state or the government, you know, or the, you know, the democratically elected body, whatever this ruling class of people. And every single time throughout history, the ruling class of people manipulated the money to benefit themselves at the expense of the populace, at the expense of the public. Now you have something like Bitcoin where they can't do that. Right. It kind of levels the playing field and it kind of changes the power dynamics of the whole structure entirely. It's very, very fascinating, the entire thing. But you know, what turned from a joke into a meme ended up in Opti's dream. And I think Chrissy as a praying mantis, if anyone could make that A .I. picture of that, that would be dope. Please send it to us. We'll put it on the meme review. Anyways, everybody, let's jump straight into the numbers. We have a lot to talk about today. Let's check it out.

The Café Bitcoin Podcast
A highlight from Independent Bitcoin Education Unconference with John Dennehy, Founder of "My First Bitcoin" + Bitcoin News with the Caf Bitcoin Crew - September 26th, 2023

Good morning to all you Cafe Bitcoiners. Good morning, Mickey, Dom Bay, Nico. Good morning, Jacob. D -Code. Good morning. Joe Carlessari and all the rest of you Cafe Bitcoiners. Yo, what's up, Alex? What's up, Alex? Just wanted to drop in here and, you know, this chase ban in the U .K., can't say I'm surprised that Chase Bank in the U .K. has blocked Bitcoin purchases and payments, I think is a continuation of the trend that we saw the with reaction against Russell Brand. But I mean, they don't call it the separation of money and state for no reason. The way that you frame it, Alex, is get on the mission. The way that Corey phrases it is let's win the race to avoid the war. The way I phrase it is Bitcoin or slavery. And I think as time continues to go by, I think the battle lines, so to speak, are a lot of things that are going on right now, but I think there will come a time where people are going to have to pick and choose between state money, state approved information sources and Bitcoin and independent media. And I think that time is coming a lot faster than people realize because I just see this as just another major escalation heading to an inevitable clash, in my personal Yeah, opinion. we've seen a lot of stuff like that from banks over in Europe, specifically the U .K. There are a lot of, well, I don't know about a lot, my clients I've seen get from the U .K. have wires blocked when they're trying to wire to Swan from depends on the bank. Not all of them are doing this, but more and more of them are. And this is not a regulatory thing. This is a policy thing that I think they're doing. But interestingly enough, you know, Operation Choke Point was not a regulatory thing either. There was no laws passed, et cetera, and there was no regulations on the books. It was basically a it was a bullying type enforcement.

"And as we've seen over the weekend, the price of Bitcoin is starting to pump. So, hey, as the price goes up and Bitcoiners are right, then we have more resources to do what we want to do and spread the truth and build the things that will literally save humanity from ending up in a digital dystopian Orwellian future. And this is what I'm here for. We're winning. This is all I can keep saying. We're winning our narrative. It's constantly going up because we have the truth and more people are waking up to the scam that is the modern world. Anyways, I think I've ranted enough. Zia, Zia, what's your thoughts on this? I see. So there's this thing about freedom of speech. It works in a way that like freedom of speech is one of those components that is very important for like liberty, for freedom. So it's literally in the title. And in the dichotomy, the dilemma between like freedom and security, you've got something. If you give it up, if you give up something or even if you see some, what do you call them, like special circumstances, they call it. Actually, it's very common here in Iran that they call it. There's a special circumstances like this is similar to what we've had like in the next like in the past few years that happened globally. So we've got some special circumstances that we're going to use some tools, we're going to use some practices or procedures like the government. I mean, by you, the government does something that introduces new things. And makes people accept them. And if this stays on, it's going to be well, well, it's not going to be very good for your freedom side of things. And it's going to stay. So let's take this example. I've heard a few weeks ago on a podcast, they were talking about barbed wire. So it was like this is something for the trenches in the World War One, I guess. So this was not anything. So there was nothing similar to barbed wire in the course of history. So and they made it for the trenches. But now nowadays you see it on a lot of buildings that need security, that needs actually they say they need security or surveillance or anything. And we see it a lot everywhere, actually, there's a lot of barbed wire in a lot of places. So how did this come to be? There's something from war, something designed to actually annihilate people. So used to be now used in societies. And this is very similar to what happens in the digital domain and with the freedom of speech, like the surveillance tools and the tendency for people to accept them, actually, even if they are not accepting them, what happens is that like there comes some special times that, OK, people just let's just accept that we're going to do this inhumane thing temporarily. But it catches on. It stays on. We cannot take the power outside of the wielder of that power. The thing that Nico said, I think it was about Canada and their, I don't know, registering podcasts and platforms and stuff like that. So actually, we had this year on year on two and it was like it's not actually a podcast. Every person who wants to use some local app, local, I mean, something, a home food app, a social media or a messenger or anything like that. They it was a time that they said just I don't know if they do it or not because nobody actually uses those apps, but they actually wanted people to register their ID card numbers and do some kind of KYC to just use a user name on a social media app. So it was very similar here when we've heard about it. I can't imagine how the Canadians feel about something like that being introduced in I don't know, law or anything. So this is very, very interesting stuff happening. And if we consider them not always with regard to this, what do you call them, these uncertain circumstances and I don't know, special situations that they want to introduce these new things that limit our freedom of speech, if they're not happening like that. So that means somehow we're somewhat like giving up, are we giving up that they take it easy on doing it like this? I don't know what Abdi says is like very, very important here. I mean, he says that, I don't know, encrypted messaging, use anything that helps your privacy. You're going to need it in the future. It's better to learn now when you're going to need it. A hundred percent, I completely agree with your statements, man. And it's very scary that this is happening in Canada the way it is. And there's some awesome Bitcoiners in Canada and they have some awesome Bitcoin podcast and the government wants to get involved. You know, how long until and remind you, by the way, these are the same governments that are saying trust us with central bank digital currencies. If they can't even trust you with speech. What makes you think they're going to trust you with money, right? Like it is it is ludicrous, right? This is why Bitcoin is important. This is why the Internet is important. This is why running your own node is important. The start nine is awesome. It's like it's like a personal server at home. Like you could have all these apps and do, you know, peer to peer messaging like it's badass. You know, this is why, you know, taking back your sovereignty, using the Internet, using the tools that the Internet enables you to use is so important in maintaining your freedoms, regardless of where you are in the world. So the fight for free speech is the front line for the battle, for the fight for Bitcoin. We lose the fight for free speech. We will lose a fight for Bitcoin because, yeah, you could use money that we can't censor control. Yeah, you could use that, but you can't have certain thoughts like, you know, thinking that is just, you know, it's absolutely absurd. So that's why we talk about this. We always talk about this crazy, crazy moment in time. Anyways, guys, before we move on to the culture to talk to Zia, I want to give out I want to give a shout out to our sponsor, Kaboom Racks. Simply Bitcoin
A highlight from Saylor Now Own's Almost 1% of All Bitcoin, BUYS MORE | EP 831
"Yo intro first You're against freedom Yeah, we're gonna salute Bitcoin live we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution for breaking news culture manic warfare We will be your guide through The separation of money and state. I hope everyone had an amazing effing weekend I did I got to chill, you know everyone on the weekends like man like like what'd you do? What like, you know, what did you do anything crazy news, whatever? No, man I stayed home and I chilled and I relaxed because the week, you know, it's the Bitcoin rollercoaster making Bitcoin media You know, it's a grind. I'm not gonna lie It's very purposeful and I'm very very grateful and privileged Opti and I are and the rest of the simply Bitcoin crew But but it is it is quite a bit of a grind. So on weekends, I get to chill. Anyways enough of that breaking news Michael Saylor buys Even more Bitcoin the man or micro strategy better said now owns almost 1 % of all Bitcoin sky talk about Conviction this is conviction Michael Saylor is proving to the world and this is something that I've been saying guys in the next two or three years it is going to be Undeniable, it's gonna be an undeniable fact that naim bukele's Bitcoin strategy and Michael sailors strategy on the public company level is Going to be an alternative than holding fiat currencies on their balance sheets Especially with the FASB rule changes, especially with the Bitcoin ETF around the corner there They're gonna they're trying to do whatever it takes and I believe it's politically motivated I'm not the only Bitcoin or that has said this by the way That they're you know, they're trying to slow this down But it's gonna be undeniable and they're gonna have a very hard time Debunking this that Bitcoin Itself, it's just a better money It's just better money and governments are gonna have a hard time disputing that and the reason they're gonna have a hard time Disputing that number one is because they're always going to do they're always gonna want to debase their currency They can't afford the endless wars. They can't afford sending billions of dollars to Ukraine If they didn't have the money printer, so they're gonna have a really hard time explaining that away and number two Censorship, of course, right and the control on money itself, right? A lot of the reasons that the BRIC nations have sought alternatives to the US dollar Not only because the US government is printing a ridiculous amount of money but also because they've politicized the money they've weaponized the money against their political opponents and Fine, you could you can make the argument. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna make those judgments the government of North Korea are bad Okay, and the government of Russia is bad the government of Cuba is bad. I'm not gonna get into those arguments, right? but let's talk about The vast majority of people that live in those countries that are not have nothing to do with the government They're just like you and you and me. They're just trying to get by they get caught in those sanctions they have nothing to do with it and The system that they want you to live in is if you live in a certain if you were if you happen to be born in a certain country You happen to have certain political beliefs. You are not entitled to have to open a bank account You are a danger. You're a risk. Well Bitcoin is for you Bitcoin is your money it works. So they're gonna have a hard time and this is why we call it the separation of money and state This is why we bring up the book the sovereign individuals so much because it absolutely Hit the nail on the head this what we're living through right now, but it's not only money It's also the disintermediation of information which is happening at the same time. You're seeing it with the Russell Brand stuff You're seeing it with the Tucker stuff Independent content creators are now getting more views and more traction than the legacy corporate media of which they cannot control and that freaks them out too, so After we got over this hill after we endure this this this bumpy transitionary period and if we win the race to avoid the war I Agree with Corey Clifton from swan I think that there's a bright orange future ahead of us and I've never been so pumped about it But I got to say one last thing before I bring up my legendary co -host Michael sailor Please leave some Bitcoin for the rest of us. Anyways Opti. How you doing, brother? I'm doing great man doing great. I also unplugged this weekend. It felt good I was literally joking with everyone in the spaces. I literally lived the meme. Did you guys catch the game this weekend? I unplugged completely what game did he catch? I caught all the games. I didn't do anything yesterday I literally did not a thing yesterday, but watch football Throw tomatoes all you want, but it was it's a great weekend It's good to be a big corner and then also guys mad sailor leave some Bitcoin for the rest of us she It's almost like you taking it all it's almost like you trying to buy all the Bitcoin. Yeah. No, he definitely is bro He he owns 1 % he almost owns 1 % of every Bitcoin. We're at that point. We're at that point in the movie, dude Well, I think this is the PSA where we tell everyone to stop selling your Bitcoin to Michael sailor and huddle onto them coins We're in the dark it actually I saw a good tweet before we go on Nico I saw a good tweet this weekend and it was something on the lines of like Dang, I wish I could remember but it was something like Willy. Woo is bearish Someone there is another part and then it's like and Bitcoin maxis are watching d3 football like if you can't tell that this is the deepest parts of a bear market Like are you even watching there? It was a great tweet I wish I could say it off the top of my head But as you can tell we're in the deep parts of the bear market I hope you guys are stacked and I hope you guys are getting your cash flows up and Just you know getting your body right mine, right? This is the time to get your UTXOs in order to make sure that everything is copa static as we move into a crazy Bull run. Anyways, Nico, we were gonna have a guest today But I'm kind of glad that they didn't show up because I wrote an article for once guys And I'm actually really hyped on this one so I'm gonna read it for you I'm gonna do my best guy Swan impersonation today, and I I think you guys are gonna really like this one So, I don't know it. It's got a lot of soul. It's got some spirit in it It gets me hyped up and maybe I'll give you context for it. I'll just read it and see what Nico thinks He I don't even think Nico seen this yet So I'm excited to get his response his reaction to we're gonna do a reaction video on today's simply Bitcoin Anyway, you go let's get into the show. Are we gonna get a Nico Jones take today? Are we gonna get a wild Nico John? I think so. We got something spicy for the numbers, bro. Let's jump in today. Well, we've talked about the you know It comes from like the political front this this this saying but I'm gonna apply it to Central bankers, I'm gonna apply to politicians Right, and there is something in the in the political Rhetoric recently and it's called the iron law of something projection, right? So we're gonna take away the political rhetoric because we believe on simply bitcoins not left versus right, right? It's a party of orange versus party of green party of central bank digital currencies nihilism poverty slavery versus a party of freedom Bitcoin Prosperity opportunity optimism, right? So that's really what it's about But I'm gonna take that rhetoric because it is very very powerful rhetoric and I'm gonna say the iron law of central bank Politicians projection never fails it never frickin fails let me introduce you to senator Mendez of New Jersey and let's take a look at what he has to say about Naeem Bukele of El Salvador We have an increasing challenging situation in El Salvador one that threatens both the future democracy in the country and bilateral relations of the United States Over the last two years president Bukele has presided over a number a number of alarming setbacks for democratic governance undermining judicial independence intimidating opposition lawmakers by using security forces to occupy the legislature negotiating political pacts with gangs regularly attacking journalists and media outlets and In addition to these actions Bukele has also repeatedly used his network of Twitter trolls to attract and to attack And threaten not only government critics within El Salvador, but also United States officials We have an increasing challenging situation in El Salvador one So this is just internalize everything everything that this guy said right, you know senator meant You know, he sounded so legitimate.

"He's going to quickly find out that, like, unless he uses Bitcoin as the base layer, as the back end of that, governments are just going to censor it. They're going to destroy it. They did the same thing to PayPal. They did the same thing to Facebook. When Facebook wanted to launch their own, you know, cryptocurrency, the Libra, the government shut that down real quick. Right. So that's why it's Bitcoin, because they don't have the ability to shut it down and because they don't have the ability to shut it down, they're forced to compete with it. And if they're forced to compete with it, then it's not just like, OK, you have to use our money. The problem is that when people have a choice between using a money that is deflationary, using money that is censorship resistant versus using a money that is inflationary and censored over time, that door only goes one way. Right. So, yeah, I'm excited about today's episode. Lots of lots of things to talk about. But before we start the show, I want to bring up my legendary co-host. He's always optimistic. Are you optimistic this week? Dude, being optimistic is a state of mind, Nico. You got to always stay optimistic or else you'd end up crying in a fetal position in this field. We stay optimistic out there. But yeah, man, crazy. I think today's topic kind of goes into a theme we talk about here on the show constantly that I think most people know what the problem is. Well, at least most people that know or are in tune with what is going on in the world, we know what the problem is. Obviously, it is fiat monies and the money printer. But few people know what the solution is to that. And we even posted on our Twitter this morning. It's like, does Elon like how long will it take for Elon to understand Bitcoin? And I'm kind of going back and forth like I think he does understand Bitcoin, but he just likes to troll. Or on the other hand, you know, he is a billionaire. He's got a lot of fiat money, so he probably doesn't have to understand how money works because he just gets so much of it. So until he started feeling the pain, maybe, I don't know. Maybe he does understand. Tesla does have owned a lot of Bitcoin, right? So maybe he's playing dumb. Anyways, I want to bring up our guest, Zia, legendary Bitcoiner. How are you doing, bro? Hey there, guys. Happy, happy to thank you for joining us, man. Zia is an absolute legend, true Bitcoiner. And I think, you know, I love having Zia on the show because this Bitcoin isn't just a phenomenon that is happening in one location or in one specific location. This is a worldwide phenomenon, right? This is a worldwide phenomenon of individuals choosing to use Bitcoin as money. So we're really, really happy to have him on the show today and to get into conversation. So, Zia, once again, thank you so much for joining us. Yeah, thanks. Thanks for the invite, actually. So I'm very happy to be here. I love your project and your podcast and the media that you're actually trying to focus only on Bitcoin. And I get I think that the positivity that comes in the simply Bitcoin maybe comes from our optimist here. So I've seen this and it's a bit different than some other actual medias here and in this space, in the Bitcoin space, I love it. And I don't know if your audience knows me or what. I'm a YouTuber, podcaster, Bitcoin educator and Bitcoin enthusiast from Iran. I've been doing this since, I don't know, 2016, 17 from now. And I've built communities here in Iran. I've contributed a lot to this space. Try to educate people. I would like to consider myself as like I've done some very influential things with regard to growing the Bitcoin space here, like our community rocks, actually. So it has done many things. They've built a complete, I don't know, what do you call it, something, an index of resources all translated to Farsi, which is the language that people in Iran talk. They've done a lot of things. They've done projects that help spread Bitcoin awareness. They've actually contributed to Bitcoin projects. We even had people from our community who contributed very small things in Bitcoin core. So it's like it's a very good community. It may have some times. People are saying in the chat that your gain is a little bit low. Can you raise it? Yeah. How about now? Much better. Make it a bit closer. So what were you saying? Yeah, no, it's coming in great now. Yeah, great. So, yeah, we've done a lot of things here. So we've tried our best, but we could do more, even more here. And there is a big crowd in Iran, actually interested in, let's not say Bitcoin right now, interested. So I'm going to talk about this later on when we're going to talk about like the situation in Iran, about inflation and all of those stuff that happens in Iran. So let's say that we've got a lot of people who are interested in anything that they could put their hands on that could help them deal with the inflation here in Iran. So let's not say only Bitcoin, but it is actually one of the best tools out there that may be actually a bit clouded. But by all of these like crazy stuff happening in the, I don't know, what do you call it? The crypto space and the altcoin and shitcoins, the space, it may be clouded by all of these stuff, but eventually all of them know that it is that Bitcoin that attracts them, but they may not know it right now. So, yeah, so this is, I'm living in such a space and this is very different from what Apti was saying about Elon that, okay, that guy has a lot of money and he lives in a Western country that has some, like, what do you call it? We could agree that they definitely have the basic level of, I don't know, living conditions that people would be happy to have in their society. But it's how, what do you call it? How do you call it? Alex Glass says that they are privileged. They have like a financial advantage and they don't know about it. So we know about the disadvantage. We know and like people from, like Bitcoiners from other places in the world, they may not know about this. So I'm very happy to talk about this here and let's chat about it. Absolutely, man. Welcome to the show. Guys, it's going to be a good one. Let's jump straight into the numbers. The Bitcoin numbers, is your Bitcoin and cold storage really secure? Is your seed phrase really secure? Stamped seeds do it yourself kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade titanium plates instead of just writing them on paper. Don't store your generational wealth on paper. Paper is prone to water damage, fire damage. You want to put your generational wealth on one of the strongest metals on planet Earth, titanium. Your words are actually stamped into this metal plate with this hammer and these letter stamps. And once your words are in, they aren't going anywhere. No risk of the plate breaking apart and pieces falling everywhere. Titanium stamp seeds will survive nearly triple the heat produced by a house fire. They're also crush proof, waterproof, non-corrosive and time proof. All things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul. Stamp your seed on stamp seed. All right, guys, I made it super easy for you guys. You can scan the QR code on your screen and it will take you directly to the stamp seed website where you can get your you could store your generational wealth on titanium. You can use promo code simply to get 15 percent off anything on the stamp seed website at the time of recording. The Bitcoin price is twenty eight thousand eighty stats per dollar, three thousand five hundred sixty one block height, eight hundred ten eight hundred ten thousand three hundred twenty six blocks to having twenty nine thousand six hundred seventy four having estimate April twenty first twenty twenty four total lightning network capacity four thousand four hundred forty two Bitcoin capacity value one hundred twenty four million U.S. dollars realized monetary inflation one point seventy five percent. The market capitalization of Bitcoin five hundred forty seven billion dollars or the B Bitcoin versus gold market cap four point three seven percent. Anyways, guys, so we talk a lot about this concept of the Overton window. But before we get to that, I actually want to show you this video and apparently 60 Minutes did a piece on the FTX collapse and this person had some thoughts on had some thoughts on SPF and he said some really interesting things. I just like at this point, like anyways, I'll play you guys a video. You guys you guys can come to your own conclusions. One of the most shocking passages in this book, I thought, came with this revelation that Sam had looked into paying Donald Trump not to run. That only shocks you if you don't know Sam Sam saying we could pay Donald Trump not to run for president. Like, how much would it take? Did he get an answer? So he did get an answer. He was floated. There was a number that was kicking around and numbers kicking around. When I was talking to Sam about this was five billion dollars. Sam was not sure that number came directly from Trump. But wait. So Sam's looking into paying Trump not to run. And he actually didn't come from Trump himself, but he actually got a price? He got one answer. Yes. The question Sam had was not just his five billion dollars enough to pay Trump not to run, but was it legal? Well, why didn't this happen? Why did you follow through? Well, they were still having these conversations when FTX blew up. So why didn't happen? He didn't have five billion dollars anymore. Approached for comment by 60 Minutes, neither former President Trump nor Senator McConnell responded. Last November, in a matter of days, mega billionaire Sam Bankman-Fried lost virtually everything and he soon faced an onslaught of federal fraud charges. Dude, I mean. And again, like, where is he paying him that money from? He's paying from other people's money because that wasn't his money in the first place. Holy, holy cow. And this is just this having and I can't even imagine what the next one holds. Anyways. So moving it back to the concept of the Overton window, this is Eric Weinstein. He's an extremely popular podcast. This is, of course, the legendary one and only American hodl. He says narrator. It was in fact, it was in fact the answer. Here's what Eric Weinstein had to say. Some of you have an idea that you've got one lens, which is fix the money, fix the world. Bitcoin. That's the answer. Yeah, Bitcoin. Rock on. But. No, that's not the answer. Some of you. An American Holds comment. It was in fact the answer. OK, so moving back to the concept of the Overton window. Right. So what is the Overton window? The Overton window is the range of policies politically acceptable to the mainstream population at any given time. It is also known as the window of disclosure. So, you know, here it is. So on the very top, it's unthinkable, then radical, then acceptable, then sensible, then popular, then policy. Right. And of course, this varies dramatically. Depending on where you are in the world. In Argentina, for example, you know, the whole concept of ending the central bank, you know, getting, you know, Bitcoin is cool or, for example, Salvador, right. You know, Bitcoin's legal tender. It's already policy there. Right. And it's interesting because in those countries, they got so effed by the current system that it's pushed them from thinking that the current system is popular to the current system is unthinkable. The current system is crazy. It's radical. Right. So what does this have to do with this clip that I just played you? Well, Eric Weinstein, like Joe Rogan, like Lex Friedman, like, you know, Tim Pool, or is why we get so excited every time Tim Pool is like saying, look, everything's burning down. I'm just going to buy Bitcoin. And of course, the reason Tim Pool is saying that is because Max Kaiser offered Tim Pool thousands of Bitcoin when it was like pennies on the dollar, when it was like a dollar a coin. Right. So. The Overton window is shifting, and when someone takes a stance like this against Bitcoin, it reminds me of those tweets, those very famous tweets of those Bitcoiners basically saying like, oh, I'm not going to buy Bitcoin because it's already at a dollar. It's too expensive. Like that video is going to age just like that. Right. You're going to look at that like 10 years from now and be like, wait, whoa, it really was the money all along. And if you think about it, like like if you think about why Bitcoiners say that, like, fix the money, fix the world, like it's a very simple concept, like half of every transaction. There's money involved, the base layer of society, there's money involved, and if that base layer is corrupted, that base layer is broken. Society is broken, right? There's a tremendous amount of people that sorry, there's a there's a there's this elite group of people that have this ungodly power of being able to control money, the issuance of money, the who is entitled to use money, who's not entitled to use money, the weaponization of of of that power. Right. And that really misaligns incentives completely, like frankensigns the whole system. And I think what we're living through right now, like a lot of people will say I've heard this a thousand times, like this is late stage capitalism. No, ladies and gentlemen, what you're living through is late stage fiat. That's what we're living through right now, late stage fiat. So I think Eric Weinstein is wrong. I do believe fix the money, fix the world. But that 60 Minutes piece, it's absolutely hilarious, man. This guy was bribing a potentially a presidential candidate with five billion dollars of other people's money, like holy cow, dude. And this was this cycle. I can't even imagine what the next cycle is going to be like. The you know, the craziness and the intensity and all the madness. Anyways, Opti, what's your take on all this, bro? This is like if you would have told I know I heard the stories about the crazy stuff in the penthouse, like I heard those stories and I was already like, OK, that's that's a leading presidential candidate on the opposing party, five billion dollars not to run for office. And then him asking, like, is this legal? Like, dude, that's so crazy to me. It's so crazy. And again, the entire time it was not his money, which is like the cherry on top, in my opinion. Yeah, well, personally, I'm not really surprised considering all kinds of the crazy news we saw come out of the SBS stuff. I'm really more surprised about how 60 Minutes has covered all this stuff. And obviously here at Simply Bitcoin, you know what we say all the time. The corporate press is not to be trusted. We know who their masters are, but, you know, sidestepping that, obviously it's a big number. And of course, as someone that is anti shitcoin, it's like, wow, you know, it must be very easy to use other people's stuff to or other people's money to fund things that you like. Hint on the Cantillon effect, hint on why we are in the place that we are right now. And on the Weinstein clip, it just really makes me think of the classic meme of intellectual yet idiot. And I'm not saying Weinstein's an idiot. He's way smarter than I am, obviously. Like, I don't know, he's he's damn near like a rocket scientist or whatever. He's, you know, way more accomplished in the academic field than I am. But it's funny that he can't see the nuance in that statement of like, obviously, when Bitcoiners say, fix the money, fix the world. There is some nuance in what we're saying, but it goes back to the basic premise that we talk about here on the show all the time. The more money you print, the poorer everyone gets. And the more money they can print to fund things that we don't agree with, the more problems we see in the world. And we're constantly seeing this play out in real time. And so, yes, you know, narrator confirmed it was the money all along. It's always been the money. It has always been the money. It's been the money since the Roman Empire. You know, cliche men talking about the Roman Empire every single day. It's always about debasing the currency, guys. This is why we constantly tell you guys to protect yourself, to save in Bitcoin, because look, whether they're right or we're right, only time will tell. And obviously, we believe we're right. And so we put our money where our mouth is and we have taken as much money out of the fiat system as possible. And we're holding a currency or a money that cannot be debased because we do not agree with this stuff. Like, we have come to a point where, what's this saying? You know, I think it's Ben Franklin where he says, like, there comes a point where people realize that they can vote themselves money or vote for things and acquire basically capital and property. And like, this is where we are. And this is why we don't like this is because I don't know about you, but even that SPF example is just showing that if you have enough money, you can try to pay people off. And I'm sure buying off bankers and politicians are just as cheap. Guys, I think we had the example last year that like buying off a politician is like ten thousand dollars if his name is not Trump because he's a billionaire himself. And so buying off people is just it's just a common occurrence. And that's why I'm not really surprised. We know that this happens. I think it's just kind of a shocking because it was five billion dollars. And if that's true, then it's like, damn, man, you know, I need to get in a different racket, Niko.

Simply Bitcoin
A highlight from Europe's Anti-Bitcoin Bill Reveals Plan to Stop Adoption | EP 829
"It's all going to zero against bitcoin it's going up for ever more you're against bitcoin you're against freedom yo welcome to simp with bitcoin live we're the number one source for the peaceful bitcoin revolution we will be your guide through the separation of money and state speaking of the separation of money and state interesting news coming out of Europe kind of not as bad as the proposed bill by Elizabeth Warren that we covered on one of simply bitcoins simply bitcoin lives episode this week but it's something very similar right this idea that every single transaction needs to be KY seed right and then I think that will inevitably lead to the any host unhosted wallet needs to be KY seed all right the the wording specifically in the Elizabeth Warren bill included any minor any validator any software wallet so you know it's just of course the powers that be that tremendously benefit from having a monopoly on the creation of money having controls on money of course to benefit themselves of course they're not going to be okay with this and this was the theory that was originally you know put out back in the 90s in the book the sovereign individual I'm going to read you guys a passage from that book because I think it correctly predicted exactly the reactions from governments I don't think governments have been able to they're not used to this environment where they have competition and most importantly not only do they have competition but they can't shut down the competition right because we remember we saw Facebook try to launch their own you know digital currency and they got shut down real quick the thing with Bitcoin right and Bitcoin only right because aetherium is inherently centralized meaning it will inevitably be co -opted so they have no choice but to ally with the state and they were in order to survive but with Bitcoin can't be stopped and because it can't be stopped it creates a forcing function in the long term as more and more individuals choose to opt out of inflationary money into deflationary money so yes of course times are changing but it's not only on the money front right we're not only living through the disintermediation of money but we're also living through the disintermediation of information and yesterday was a historic day I've never seen this in my life the UK Parliament sent Russell Brand an extremely popular independent content creator a letter to rumble we love rumble by the way we're on there subscribe to us on there and shout out to our rumble audience as well it's been growing by the day so we appreciate you all they sent a letter to rumble asking rumble to demonetize Russell Brand like YouTube did so we have governments that are directly asking platforms to demonetize content creators of which they don't did they don't agree with that is absolutely absurd and these are the same governments that want you to trust them with central bank digital currencies if they had central bank digital currencies in place they wouldn't even have to ask the platforms they could just flick the switch themselves so when we say Bitcoin or slavery or how beauty on said it and I'm starting to lean this way to Bitcoin or death we are not exaggerating and you have to choose what world do you want to live in in the future and most importantly what world do you want the future generations your children your children's children to live in so it's gonna be a great episode I'm really looking forward to it you have to stay on top of what's going on anyways we also we also have a very special treat for you guys we have the head of customer experience from foundation devices the maker of the passport hardware wallet and he's gonna do a live demo for us during the culture cement segment so I'm really really pumped about that let me bring up let me bring him up on stage Bitcoin Q &A you're quite well known on Bitcoin Twitter as well how you doing buddy yeah doing very well thank you very much for having me I'm psyched to shoot the shit with you guys this evening well even in my time but yeah certainly some interesting goings on especially around the Russell brand thing so I'm sure we'll be able to share some insights on that one but not a good look yeah I completely agree man it's it's some some interesting times we are living through people some people call it the fourth turning I don't know man but the phrase that sticks with me the most is weak men create hard times hard times create strong men strong strong men create good times we're definitely going through this era and then I think it was actually Vladimir Lenin that said the very very famous quote right where there are decades that nothing happened and then there are weeks that decades happen I think we're definitely living through this moment of time anyways no more delay let's bring up my legendary co -host not optimistic today no smile oh there's this smile sorry I was caught reading the channels optimistic fields how you doing bro well I am doing wonderful and I'm actually really excited for this culture segment today guys I got a sneak peek of the demo that we're going to see and I think there's gonna be awesome this might be a simply Bitcoin first for the live show but to the news stories and stuff it really just goes to show that if you speak the truth you are the enemy of the state and I think more and more and more people are waking up to this because they either continue to de -platform you from your banks or de -platform you from social media for saying what they don't want to be said you know for saying the quiet part out loud and you know this is why we do our show in a very particular way so that we can survive on YouTube but man it really just goes to show that the powers that be are completely terrified of people talking about the truth hence why you guys need to talk about it more and continue to spread that signal but it just goes to show that this is the the last I don't know the last gasp of the great Leviathan you know what's them saying like darker before the dawn like this is their last grasping at straws to control the truth and and I mean I've been saying for a while I think the monopoly on truth is slowly and dwindling they're going to try to make examples of this so you know just be prepared we know what's coming so protect yourselves protect your family and continue to spread the Bitcoin truth the Bitcoin signal actually just truth with a capital T I suppose anyways Niko let's let's get into this one let's get into this one let's get into the show man I'm really really excited alright guys let's get to the numbers we have a lot to talk about today and I'm super is your Bitcoin in cold storage really secure is your seed phrase really secure stamp seeds do -it -yourself kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade titanium plates instead of just writing them on paper don't store your generational wealth on paper papers prone to water damage fire damage you want to put your generational wealth on one of the strongest metals on planet earth titanium your words are actually stamped into this metal plate with this hammer and these letter stamps and once your words are in they aren't going anywhere no risk of the plate breaking apart and pieces falling everywhere titanium stamped seeds will survive nearly triple the heat produced by a house fire they're also crush proof waterproof non -corrosive and time proof all things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul stamp your seed on stamp seed alright guys I literally made it super easy for you guys you can scan the QR code on your screen it will take you directly to stamp seed website you can get you could store your generational wealth on titanium so you don't have to explain to your children why you lost your Bitcoin because you stored it on paper you can use promo code simply get 15 % off anything on the stamp seed website at the time of recording the Bitcoin price is twenty six thousand five hundred and seventy sats per dollar three thousand seven hundred sixty four block height eight hundred eight thousand seven hundred twenty nine blocks to having thirty one thousand two hundred seventy one having estimate April 21st 2024 total lightning network capacity four thousand eight hundred fifty five Bitcoin capacity value one hundred twenty nine million US dollars realized monetary inflation one point seven five percent the market capitalization of Bitcoin currently sitting at five hundred and seventeen billion dollars Bitcoin versus gold market cap four point zero one percent in the grand scheme of things Bitcoin is still a baby if Bitcoin reaches not if when Bitcoin reaches the gold market cap that is five hundred thousand dollars per coin and I think that's just getting started anyways we played you guys a video yesterday of a member of the United Nations talking about how we are in an information war we played you guys the video and she was basically recommending that that that they no longer have people to call on on Twitter to censor information she was also saying how there's an army of people that are propagating United Nations approved information well you know she's she's talking about as if the information that's coming out of the United Nations is a matter of fact right she's talking about the problem of disinformation disinformation well my question to you guys is who gets to decide what is disinformation and what is information right well we advocate for on simply Bitcoin is individuals not central planners not governments using their own critical thinking abilities right to dictate okay this is a good idea this is a bad idea right this is how the American this how the American Constitution it's literally written like that that there's a reason that the First Amendment is the way it is right the government or Congress should make no law you know basically censoring or stopping the freedom of the speech of people right and they made it that way for a reason because if there is a central authority if there's a government that gets to dictate what information is true what information is not true history has shown that they'll use that power to protect their own political mode right so thank God for the internet thank God for technologies like Bitcoin thank God for technologies like Noster for example they can't do this anymore and because they're not able to do that they're freaking out number one and number two and number two it becomes a forcing function over a long period of time but that doesn't stop them from trying here is the former New Zealand Prime Minister at the United Nations saying that that words are weapons of war right weapons of war if so if you say something against the government that all of a sudden becomes a weapon of war and again this has escalated it is escalated to the point where the UK Parliament has asked rumble to demonetize Russell Brand who's a very popular content creator who goes against the legacy corporate media's narratives right and it kind of embarrasses them so what are they doing they're attacking his money they're saying rumble okay they can't they've tried to deplatform people before they've gotten a lot of pushback so what they do instead is that they attack his pocketbook obviously YouTube complied they demonetize Russell Brand's content but rumble said no we're not doing that so love that of rumble we're on rumble we support rumble that's awesome but another thing that I want to say is that the allegations against rubble Russell Brand are just that they are allegations they have not been proven so something that has not been proven is a justification to shut off someone's living that is insane anyways let's check out this letter and this is a letter by part by the UK Parliament the specifically the cultural culture media and sport committee to the CEO of rumble Chris Palavoski who says dear Chris I'm writing concerning the serious allegations regarding Russell Brand in the context of of his being a content provider on rumble for more than 1 .4 million followers the cultural the culture media and sports committee is raising questions with the broadcasters and production companies who previously employed mr. brand to examine both the culture of the industry in the past and whether that culture still prevails today however we are also looking at his use of social media including on rumble where he issued his preemptive response to the accusations made against him by the Sunday Times and Channel 4 his dispatches while we recognize that rumble is not the creator of the content published published by mr. brand we are concerned that he may be able to profit from his content on the platform did you hear what they said the government is concerned that Russell Brand might be able to profit from his content because there was some allegations made against him conveniently a lot of Russell Brand's content is criticisms of the government so I mean big coincidence I guess you would you could say we would be grateful if you could confirm whether mr. brand is able to monetize his content including his videos relating to the serious accusations against him is so we would like to know whether rumble intends to join ryu tube in suspending mr. brand's ability to earn money on the platform we would also like to know what rumble is doing to ensure that creators are not able to use the platform to undermine to undermine the welfare of victims of inappropriate and potential potentially illegal behavior so they asked rumble to demonetize a content creator an independent content creator that's the key word when we had Parker Lewis on the show and I was talking about the legacy corporate media he didn't say no Nico it's not the legacy corporate media it's the legacy government media so anyways why is this happening I think Jeff Booth said this perfectly we read this to you guys the other day and this all boils down to the money this is why we say as Bitcoiners fix the money fix the world here's Jeff Booth he says because broken money Elon Musk said how did most of the legacy media go from superheroes of free speech to supervillains of speech suppression and Jeff Booth says because broken money ensures the centralization of power by stealing the productivity through inflation that should flow to society in the form of lower prices then those enriched by that theft and subsequent power must control the messaging to keep it but it all it wasn't only Jeff Booth that said this here's an article from our friends over at Bitcoin magazine of nine Bukele the president of the country shining on the hill the Savior El Salvador the first country that made Bitcoin legal tender the beachhead for the Bitcoin movement around the world he goes on to say the most vocal detractors the ones who are afraid and pressuring us to reverse our decision are the world's most powerful elites and the people who work or benefit from them they used to own everything and in a way they still do the media the banks the NGOs international organizations and almost all the governments and corporations in the world and with that of course they own the armies the loans the money supply the credit ratings the narrative the propaganda the factories of food supply they control international trade and international law but their most powerful weapon is their control of the truth and they're willing to fight lie smear destroy confiscate print and do whatever it takes to maintain and increase their control over the truth and everything and everyone I think come from Nico or simply Bitcoin that came from the president of El Salvador name Bukele so what is happening here two things are happening here thing number one the internet has empowered individuals and those individuals can now use the internet to uh to grow these massive platforms themselves and because they're individuals they're a lot harder to co -opt and at the same time we are witnessing the distance remediation of money that internet has allowed Bitcoin and Bitcoin has empowered individuals to choose their own money too so government states NGOs international institutions right that have had this privilege of having not only having the monopoly in the control over money but also the monopoly in the control over information it's quickly diminishing in front of their eyes and of course that system is fighting back they can't take that they've been used to operating in a system where they've been able to control the narrative they've been able to control the truth and that is slipping through their fingers and they don't know what to do and that's why they're short -circuiting the way they are that's why we've gotten to a point where the UK Parliament is literally asking a platform to D monetize an independent content creator not to mention all the stuff that was revealed during the Twitter files where it was exposed that the US government even though that is explicitly against the US Constitution the government should not be censoring speech was asking Twitter to D platform D boost and censor certain speech and these are the same governments that also want you to trust them with central bank digital currencies and they expect you to believe that they're not going to use central bank digital currencies as a weapon as a forcing function in order to control your actions as a individual and this was all predicted I might add in the book the sovereign individual which we'll get to during the new segment but this is some crazy times now what can you do to protect yourself in this particular situation do your own research pick what information sources you choose you you want to choose I love Twitter because it's like a news aggregator and the the news that you know pops up pops up Noster is a great platform rumbles a great platform YouTube is is good to do your own research don't rely on a single information source and then most importantly the most empowering thing you could do is to opt out of state money opt into Bitcoin I think that's the most powerful thing you could do look the most important the most important vote you can make that voting for a Democrat or Republican it's not to say that it's not important to vote but the most powerful vote that you can do that will actually change things is voting with your wallet opt out and the way that you do that is you buy Bitcoin earn Bitcoin mine Bitcoin and take that said Bitcoin into self custody the moment you do that you're part of the peaceful Bitcoin revolution whether you are aware of it or not and that is how we win if enough people take self custody we win and there's nothing they could do about it speaking of self custody we have the head of customer experience with us today Bitcoin QA and you guys make it super fucking easy to take self custody with the hardware wallet that you guys make and not to mention the awesome application that you guys make so Bitcoin QA what's your take on this whole Russell brand stuff I can't believe we've reached this point if I would have been told this five five six years ago I would have said that's impossible there's no way that's that that's so ridiculous what's your take on all this yeah before I enter you I've just got to say that was one hell of a fucking monologue I take my half to you that was fantastic yeah kudos and yeah the whole Russell brand thing man just completely shocking another example yet another example of government overreach Russell brands been a thorn in the side of the UK government if you can't tell by the action by the way to anybody's listening that I'm from the UK and he's been a thorn in their side for years and he's a very well educated man he's very well spoken and he has drawn a lot of following by speaking out against money printing against government policy he was rabid about the whole covert thing pharmaceuticals getting rich because of you know yeah you know all of the corruption that went on over those couple of years and I see this recent letter as that them seeing the opportunity as they're into trying you know get one back on him you've touched on earlier that the fact that all of these are just allegations at the moment and the fact that they're going around trying to take money off him from you know he's not been convicted of anything at all that's not see won't be but right now they're just allegations and they're trying to take his money off him it's just completely shocking and they're just trying to lash out because he's been a pain in their ass royally for years so yeah I mean they're just they're just overreaching and leveraging their powers wherever they can just to kind of deep platform and then hurt his wallet as well unfortunately yeah 100 % they attack his money they attack and again like they attack his money and they're also like hey guys these CBDCs like we'll respect your privacy you could trust us what are you talking about anyways Opti what's your take well I actually I kind of want to ask Q &A question because there is some talk about this in the chat what's your thoughts on Russell Brand being like controlled demolition Q &A whoo how do you mean like basically that this is like an orchestrated attack you know once everyone's talking about this maybe Russell Brand isn't necessarily as much of a truth speaker as people are making him out to be like does he actually believe what he's saying or is this just kind of one of those things where you know you create a figure and then you kind of tear him down to discredit the whole movement in general the whole truth movement yeah possibly I think I think most of what he says is genuine he before he started doing all of the YouTube stuff like he was he was a you know some form of a celebrity he had a big following and could have monetized himself as a product in many many other ways by coming out and being as outspoken as he has against the the prickly topics of like money printing and you know COVID etc he must have known you know he's smart enough to know that would have been incredibly divisive to people that followed him so I lean towards the fact that he's genuine and the fact that they're probably gonna try and use him as a scapegoat to warn ward off other people that kind of speak out against any government policy etc etc yeah I'd agree I mean like especially considering what his status was it's hard to follow the incentives and be like yeah he's got a lot to gain from this when in reality he's on the verge of losing everything so I'd agree with you and then just kind of going back to the beginning of this rant and and people are saying epic daily Nico Jones rant today so good job Nico I like when Nico gets get animated remember growing up guys when I grew up I had a saying and I'm sure your mother told it to you as well and we all probably said it in kindergarten you know sticks and stones but words may never hurt me and now we grow up in a world where words are violence like what is going on guys and that's a convenient it's a convenient way I know Nico I was getting there I'm asking rhetorical questions on the show now okay I'm learning some Nico Jones tactics but as we know guys as we know guys you know if you can stop words from being said then you can stop thought and if you can stop thought then you can ultimately stop behavior and this is where they're going they want to ensure that you guys sell censors so that you guys don't lose everything and this is where we are guys that they are absolutely afraid of people speaking the truth they're absolutely afraid of the average person waking up and exposing all of their lives because that's all they have they have lies and favors and they have the monopoly on truth as we think now is more important than ever to speak your minds to make sure you're having these conversations to as the saying goes you know speak truth to power and all that good stuff because there's been a constant theme throughout 2023 or actually rather since 2020 basically is that if your voice is too big and you talk against the establishment then the powers that be will do anything they can to put you back in line and whether that means you know breaking your reputation taking all your money dragging you through the court of public opinion we know what their tactics are and if you're following along closely then you know what the playbook is and it's almost like they're doing the same thing over and over and over again but I think the silver lining of this is that it seems like their playbook isn't working as well as it used to which in some sense should be absolutely terrifying because then they're going to go to even more extremes and you know I'm not gonna say what everyone's thinking but it's gonna get crazy guys and so I think it's just becoming very very clear that as an individual just even a normal person that doesn't have a platform like you want to do whatever you can in your power to protect yourself and hence why we always say that it always boils down to the money guys so protect your money protect your livelihood by taking your Bitcoin into self -custody by saving in Bitcoin and because remember guys this is always about theft they want to take your wealth and put you back in your place and then distribute it and make everyone feel good and we're seeing this happen in real time and it isn't lost on me that this is done via a letter you know it's just like hey how nefarious can a letter be but if you're reading in between the lines then you know how nefarious this letter actually is and that this is a coordinated attack on someone that's talking against the establishment and if people like Russell Brand you know say what you want about him but if people like him can't speak about the truth and they also get run through the grinder like imagine what would happen to an average individual like there's no hope for us if people of that stature can't talk about what's actually going on in the world and hence why it's so important to continue to double down on independent content creation spreading the truth talking about all this stuff because this is all we have we have the truth on our side and as the saying goes you know the truth will set us free so just just don't be afraid you know be brave but also be smart out there and the best thing you can do is just protect yourself and protect your money protect your family and I think as more people do this then the world will slowly but surely start to fix itself anyways you know amen we'll see what happens amen preach brother all right everybody let's get to the news we got a lot to talk about today let's check it out no no no no no no before we do A highlight from BREAKING: Bitcoin Ban Gathers Momentum in the US | EP 827
"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin, it's going up for everyone, you're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo, welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution, core breaking news, culture, and matic warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state. We got a lot of comments starting off basically saying click bait title ugh, someone else said FUD, no, not at all, not at all, especially if you guys, Denver Hoddle said FUD, no, not at all. If you guys have been tuned into this channel, we've been like surgically covering all the moves by the Biden administration, the moves by the anti -Bitcoin senator, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and yet they don't like Bitcoin, they don't want it to succeed. Bitcoin succeeding would mean that they would lose their privilege of being able to create money for free that everyone else has to work for. I think the worst thing that Bitcoiners could do is think that Bitcoin's going to win by default, right? This is an adoption race, this is about getting the people around you to understand and to wake up to the fact that it's not left versus right. It is green, the party of green versus the party of orange, the party of state currency, the party of central bank digital currencies, the party of inflation, the party of nihilism, the party of slavery versus the party of Bitcoin versus the party of orange versus the party of freedom, Bitcoin, prosperity, opportunity, optimism. So, yeah, it's not BS at all. And today we're going to cover the fact that Senator Elizabeth Warren's bill, so -called the Digital Assets Anti -Money Laundering Act, got nine new sponsors. This is a bipartisan bill. This is a Republican and Democrat bill that's being pushed in Congress, in the Senate specifically, that Pierre Richard would literally, literally said this is not simply Bitcoin or Nico's wording. He literally tweeted, if this bill passed, if this bill would pass, this bill would ban Bitcoin mining in the United States. And I would even make the case that the bill would basically ban Bitcoin in the United States. And that's exactly what the bill was designed to do. Make no mistake. So, yeah, you can like, you know, push it aside and say this is FUD, you know, this is you know, this is this is bullshit. This is a clickbait title. This is the separation of money and state. Take it seriously. There's a lot of vested interest that it's not convenient for them if Bitcoin wins. They want you under a central bank digital currency. They want to control what you think and what you say and what you do. And one of the most effective mechanisms to do that is by controlling money. If you control the money, you control the incentive structure. That's exactly what the whole social credit system is all about. Right in China. So, you know, if you talk against the state, you know, they take a percentage of your money right out of your paycheck. They don't allow you to travel. They don't allow you to sign your kids up to certain schools. That is a forcing function. And that is no longer theoretical. This has happened in the West already. I feel like people have just forgotten about the Canadian truckers protest. They literally froze people's bank accounts because they were protesting the government because of the lockdowns.

A highlight from Jordan Peterson: Scrap the Banks, Adopt Bitcoin | EP 825
"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin, it's going up for everyone, you're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo, welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution, we will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Crazy news, Jordan Peterson, one of the most influential people on planet earth in terms of media, basically said the quiet part out loud, he said, scrap banks, adopt Bitcoin. And the crazy part about this, right, is what you hear from a lot of the political rhetoric, right, what you hear from a lot of the people that correctly identify the problems, like Xavier Millie is a great example of this, right, he's correctly identified the issue, the issue is central banking, the issue is the state, right? But you if correctly identify the issue without providing a solution, you're not really going anywhere, like the whole end the Fed movement, shout out Ron Paul, because I think he really, really started that in the United States, like, that's great, right? But what it and the Fed, and then what, and the Fed and then Bitcoin. So when someone who has that much influence outside of the Bitcoin echo chamber is not only saying scrap banks, but is actually presenting the solution to his mainstream audience that is not, that is not inside the Bitcoin echo chamber, that is a really, really big deal. So we're going to get into that, he has a massive following not only on YouTube, also on Twitter, I know a lot of people don't agree with his politics. And you know, and I respect that. And I understand that. But what I ask you is to zoom out, it's not his, his politics are irrelevant to this cause to what we're trying to achieve here. And what we're ultimately trying to achieve is a separation of money and state peacefully, people waking up realizing that no one should have the ability to create money for free that someone else has to work for. And they opt out into not only a, not only a currency that is not inflationary, but is actually deflationary, your purchasing power increases over time. So that's why this is a big deal. That's why it's a big deal when people like Jordan Peterson, people like Joe Rogan, people like Tucker Carlson, when they taught Tim Pool the other day, it's very, very important that those individuals that have massive followings, independent followings outside of the legacy corporate media talk about Bitcoin, because that is when the mainstream starts to start starts to ask questions. And I'm very, very glad that Jordan Peterson not only correctly identified the problem, but also said, okay, the solution is Bitcoin. Now this was a, this is a major effort by the Bitcoin community, right? There was a podcast that he did with Robert Breedlove, Gigi. I think he did one with Safedean also that all contributed to him coming to that conclusion that Bitcoin was the answer, just like how Max Kaiser went on Tucker Carlson, just how Michael Saylor went on Tucker Carlson, just how Marty Bette went on Tucker Carlson. Bitcoiners breaking out of the Bitcoin echo chamber, getting into the ears of huge, massively popular mainstream independent content creators so that they can tell their audience, guys, it's not left or right. It's not, it's not all this stuff that you guys are getting caught distracted with. The issue is the money. You fix the money, you fix the world. That's why I'm so hyped about today's episode. Anyways, I want to bring up my legendary cohost. He's getting more professional by the minute. He's wearing polos now. Are we just, are we just, are we just poloing it up bro from, from now on? Is that what we're doing? Yo, Anders was trolling me that I, that I allegedly am going to be wearing a suit in LA. I don't have a suit, so maybe I'll have to buy a suit so that I can be more professional. No, it was literally, it just got washed. It was on my computer chair and I'm like, all right, I'm wearing a polo today. It is what it is. It is what it is. But you're wearing a lot more polos as of late, bro. I have two polos and it's like I put on a button shirt and everyone's like, Oh, you're so professional. It's like, guys, I'm just not wearing a hoodie and a t -shirt, but Hey, I don't know. I will do a poll. Do people want me to wear polos anymore? I, whatever, whatever. Anyway, this is not about my fashion decisions. Okay. Um, yeah, man, Nico, crazy stuff. I can't wait to break down this whole new story today, but we'll save that for later. On that note, we do have a guest today. Shouts out to Stefan, a Bitcoiner, and we're really going to dive in on the connections between health and Bitcoin and why you guys need to get healthy out there. It's super important. Anyway, Stefan, how are you doing today? I'm great, guys. Thanks for having me on. Thanks for joining us on Simply.

A highlight from Michael Saylor: Bitcoin to $5 Million is Inevitable | EP 824
"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin. It's going up for everyone. Bitcoin! You're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo! Welcome to Simba the Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution cover breaking news called dramatic warfare will be your guide through the separation of money and state today is September 14th 2023 another day in Bitcoin another day on the Bitcoin roller coaster they don't call the Bitcoin roller coaster for no reason there's ups and downs we hit 25k we're back to 26 ,697 but if you zoom out if you zoom out in the grand scheme of things if you believe in the meme 21 million divided by infinity or infinity divided by 21 million I think it is we all know we're early but there's something I want to talk about today specifically there was a very famous spaces that Michael Saylor did and I think he did it with some some legacy media people there's a huge spaces and there was three things that he said needed to happen in order for Bitcoin to 10x and then during that spaces he even said if these thing if these three things happen Bitcoin will inevitably hit five million dollars per coin now what were those three things first thing was the changing of the FASB rules right with the accounting the fair value accounting rules and that happened not too long ago we broke the news I wasn't there I had some swan duties that day but Opti and I think it was Rustin were holding it down so we covered that and then number two was large banks right I'm not talking about like small banks or you know these these Bitcoin crypto focused banks I'm talking about large banks offering institutional custody of Bitcoin of digital assets for their clients check that off that's happening you have banks all around the world whether it's Panko Santander the news that came out today which is I wanted to cover this is Deutsche Bank is applying for a license to custody digital assets for their customers and then there and the third thing which has been like the big news of this year is the BlackRock spot Bitcoin ETF or now I would even I wouldn't even call it the BlackRock just a Bitcoin spot ETF those are the three things that Michael Saylor said needed to happen in order for Bitcoin to just go parabolic into this five million you know etc etc and those things are basically already happening like the FASB check that off right that was a huge does a massive deal so check that off the list that doesn't start that doesn't start going into action until the year 2025 then you have so that's the FASB ruling then you have banks large banks cussing Bitcoin check that off the list as well really the only thing out of those three things is the BlackRock spot ETF or sorry the spot I keep saying BlackRock maybe it's a Freudian slip the spot Bitcoin ETF how long will Gary Gensler be able to delay this he got absolutely hammered in in Congress there was a hearing this week so yeah I mean this is pretty crazy and it's really interesting if you've been here for a while you know Opti and I are class of 2016 Opti's class of 2017 but it's the same epoch really you know one of the narratives that existed when Bitcoin was falling you know it fell from 20k back down to 3k and one of the coping narratives all the way down was the institutions are coming the institutions are coming the institutions are coming I think you could say without a doubt that the institutions are here you can't deny that now the thing is do the institutions have the necessary infrastructure to onboard on to Bitcoin and I think that's an open question but you can't deny that the institutions want exposure to Bitcoin that's undeniable right we broke the news the other day that BlackRock had a lot of micro strategy had a lot of exposure to public to publicly traded Bitcoin mining companies as well right so it's some very interesting stuff now here's the thing though right so yes this number go up whoop -dee -doo but remember the revolution is individuals taking back financial sovereignty by taking Bitcoin into self -custody so just because you're buying a Bitcoin spot ETF for BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF do Charles Schwab or Robin Hood or whatnot that that isn't real Bitcoin that's paper Bitcoin that's an IOU the only way that you get true real Bitcoin is by you know buying Bitcoin earning Bitcoin mining Bitcoin and taking that said Bitcoin into cold storage right and then preferably the step after that is stop trusting someone else's copy of the blockchain run your own run your own node the one I recommend personally because it's the one I use is start 9 they're freaking awesome so definitely check them out if you're interested in running a Bitcoin node but yeah it's a very interesting times that we're living in but uh you know I don't think I've ever been so bullish how you doing Opti and we're in the the simply Bitcoin merch today bro you're modeling I love it yeah yeah it's uh it's raining right now it's it's officially hoodie season so you're raining but you're inside yeah whatever I feel like wearing a hoodie today if it's nice it's comfy I'm wearing this all the time get yourself one at simply Bitcoin calm yeah man it's hey let your boy live for once geez yeah crazy you're not in uniform bro you you went from collared shirts to hoodies what happened you're regressing well suits coming soon I had a conversation with Chris yesterday I missed that episode man I love Chris shout out the coin shout out our boys over a Bitcoin mag but yeah crazy uh crazy developments and we really talked about it yesterday as well pretty pretty extensively on the show of how it is undeniable that the institutions want your Bitcoin there is so much institutional investment and there's just so much capital waiting on the sidelines for everyone for to get a shirt into Bitcoin you know like all the biggest asset managers well not all of them but many of the big asset managers of the world are looking to get exposure to Bitcoin we're seeing huge banks do the same thing and it just goes to show you that you guys are early and we are on the precipice of an amazing bull run as far as I'm concerned and now is the time to be stacking sats it's still what 26k so like we got the best opportunity ever and I know everyone is losing their mind because this bear market's been so long but this is where legends are made anyways on today's culture I saw this a couple tweets from Tom Luongo and if you guys aren't familiar with him he's a great I guess you call him like he is kind of low -key a gold bug and I know he's kind of maybe loosely understands Bitcoin but he created this meme in and I really wanted to touch on it today because it kind of changed my views on what we've been talking about we're always talking about you know the normies out there or in the not so nice way you know the sheeple out there and he coined this new phrase about like the masses comfortable are our wolves and I really want to cover this because I think it does change the framing and it's a little more positive view on what's going on in the world and we talk about it constantly that people need to feel pain and once they feel that pain and they wake up man shits gonna get really crazy and it really does feel like this is where we are right now so you know just prepare yourself it's it's you know are we on the precipice of a global recession who knows are we you know are we currently in a depression I don't know the official numbers are lying to us but we know that inflation is higher than they want and your purchasing power is going down the drain and I have these conversations with a bunch of my Bitcoin friends and we're all feeling the same thing it's like man dude things are getting more expensive and it's only a matter of time until people start to ask what the hell is going on right now and this is why we keep planting the seeds here on the show you know in personal conversations with people in real life and it's like we have built the foundation for people to protect themselves to get on the exit boat get on the safety net which is Bitcoin so get on the Bitcoin standard guys get on the Bitcoin standard that's right just get on the Bitcoin standard get on the life raft and you know you be watching the world around you doing doing its thing but you know that your future your family's future your wealth your time your energy your work is protected by the largest decentralized billion dollars with a B Bitcoin versus gold market cap four point zero seven percent very very very nice all right good numbers overall you know I love my favorites that I always tell you guys this is the realized monetary inflation of Bitcoin 1 .75 % that number is going to continue to go down forever so it continues to take fiat currencies absolute school even if they get it to their targeted Holy Grail 2 % inflation you know it's not even gonna come close anyways I do have some ways you got my favorite number is block height cuz that number is going up forever Laura that that that number just it just makes an all -time high every ten minutes the matter what next block it's almost like a coin walk next block anyways here's a clip I have two clips for you guys here's a clip from SEC chair chair Gary Gensler and he said some interesting things at the hearing we're gonna play you some clips of this hearing as the days go by though so let's check out this clip and I have another one then we'll talk about it and help protect Americans from the crypto abuses that cost consumers billions if they were to live up to the investor protection built into their current laws it would help investors but right now unfortunately there's significant non -compliance and it's a field which is rife with fraud abuse and misconduct and help protect Americans from the so I I want a friend two things right I agree in a way and I agree in the sense that it is full of fraud it is full of abuse it is full of misconduct now the initial part and help protect Americans from the crypto abuses that cost consumers billions I'm gonna reframes that right from the crypto abuse that cost consumers billions fine you could say shit coins you could say this what about from the governmental inflationary abuse that cost people all around the world millions if not billions of dollars why is that never talked about and that brings me to one of Tucker's episodes that he did in Argentina he did an episode about a 10 -minute episode covering what's happening in Argentina he's gonna cover he's gonna interview Javier Maly Javier Maly is he is he's a hardcore Austrian economist libertarian he wants to end the central bank you know he wants to cut down on the administrative state all of that stuff he said some pretty crazy stuff not gonna lie Tucker's gonna interview him tomorrow but what was really interesting about Tucker's opening monologue which we're going to cover extensively tomorrow is he said the quiet part out loud the invade and inflation is deft politicians aren't productive the way that they raise money is through direct taxation but they could only do that for so long until people revolt so they do that through the hidden tax of inflation we must continue to chip away at this like you know peacefully of course but Chico chip away at this move the Overton window start get start getting people to ask the question what is money why does my money lose purchasing power is it necessary for my money to lose purchasing power that's when people are gonna start asking really big questions and remember they do not have a response to this anyways talking about shifting the Overton window here's Joe squawk five years ago you would have never have believed this we did have a a Bitcoiner who was a writer for Forbes and he got a bit upset when I said that the legacy corporate media changed their tune because of the black rock spot ETF and he said no that's not true I was working at Forbes from before okay I take his word for it he's a cable are news you trying to tell me that the interest from black rock to launch a spot ETF has not influenced their change of tune whatsoever I don't know about that anyways here's Joe squawk it's about a one -minute clip and then we'll talk about it and move on to crypto if you'd indulge me for a second because we always have these crypto conversations and there seems to be this thing happening I don't know Joe we were talking about $25 ,000 with Bitcoin meanwhile black rock and all these folks all the folks that we thought were never gonna do this are now doing it and yet it's not moving at all well it's moving today well I mean sure 26 this is 26 it was for when when we started saying it wasn't going anywhere 4 ,000 oh okay but so but the question is is this now a risk on a risk off thing what do you how do you even correlate this to what's happening with the Fed because for a long time used to talk about crypto in regard to the Fed so I think crypto settling as part of the ecosystem I think people have recognized it is not the new global currency people have also recognized not going to disappear tomorrow is becoming institutionalized and I think actually if I were a crypto person I think this maturation process is a good thing where it moves from day to day is I can't really comment on that I still think it's outperformed every asset one year five year and ten year I mean I think I think he's pretty jaded a little bit right like you know it's going to zero at 4 ,000 and mind you like Pete Russo does a great job doing this but like he goes back in time and finds like original posts of people which is why it's so important to zoom out when in doubt of people posting a Bitcoin isn't going anywhere and Bitcoin was at like $100 Bitcoin was at like $200 at the time right so like when in doubt zoom out obviously Joe is completely converted he's like why have we been talking about the short -term volatility when we started when we started covering this it was literally at $4 ,000 it's at 26 ,000 at the at the you know depths of bear market he gets it I mean and this is actually one of the things that has helped me orange pill as many people as possible it hasn't been me saying the bitcoins better money it hasn't been me saying like oh look you know separate money from state hasn't been me saying you know it's a deflationary currency blah blah blah blah blah blah you know it's been the biggest converter of people you plant the seed you say Bitcoin right they ignore you for like a couple of years and two three years later pass number goes up and all of a sudden you get that text from that friend that you haven't talked to you in a long time and he's like hey about that Bitcoin thing ng you is the biggest converter of people it is the biggest orange pillar in my opinion is the most effective way and clear you could see that with Joe right he was like hmm yeah I mean we started covering this was at 4k I don't know why you're talking about the short -term volatility what the hell's wrong with you anyways why are you pulling that up Opti oh it's from wine it's from wine anyways why what's why you know all the disgrace you've ever done and all the controlling calling me why it might be the worst no I'm just trolling love you wine anyways first and foremost you know shout out the Joe Kernen absolutely love to see him just constantly battle the corporate BS FUD around Bitcoin and and I say this all the time you know like number go up love it or hate it is the fundamental thing driving all a Bitcoin adoption there's that and then on the negative side all of the crazy stuff coming out from you know the bureaucrats out there we covered the g20 stuff where they're trying to roll out a digital ID CBDC central bank digital control mechanisms and these two things together are in my opinion the driving forces for Bitcoin adoption it's like you we say it all the time and and the memes been catching on Nico I don't know if you've been seeing it on Twitter but Bitcoin is slavery it's starting to catch on and people are starting to notice that it's not even hyperbolic anymore but anyways starting with the first video I totally agree with that congressman or whatever like crypto is full of fraud like what a hundred percent agree hence why we're Bitcoin only like there's Bitcoin and there's shit coin and it triggered the thought in my mind about I think I brought it up last week it was the idea I forget what video it was but we played something on in the numbers about the the scene versus the unseen consequences of economics and it's very clearly visible the scene consequences of crypto scams and it very easily noticed and you know it's always rolled out as like the detriment to the whole Bitcoin industry and those are the scene consequences obviously there's been a lot of people getting rug pulled getting you know losing their their life savings because of shit coin scams and so it's very easily an emotional thing you can roll out so people are like ah let's protect the little guy but as we've going to cover and I really thought you were gonna play that Tucker Carlson video that you put on your Twitter I'm sick dude I mean so I was divided I was divided about what I wanted to make the show I was like I was like are we gonna make it about Tucker are we gonna make this about the sailor I think the sailor thing I was I was much more excited about the sailor thing it's a little little thing came out in my head I'm like holy cow the three things that Michael sailor said needed to happen for Bitcoin to hit five million all of those things have happened they've all happened right so I was like we have to cover this we will cover Tucker tomorrow's really actually made a thumbnail for everything it was awesome but I guess I guess you know we'll put we'll put a pin on that thought but tomorrow remember we're gonna be talking about the unseen consequences of money printing and that always gets obfuscated it always gets lost on people because it's not like a linear connection you know like you you gotta you know there's some nuance to this and most people can't think past like 20 seconds you know ADHD or whatever like we're all being inundated with so much dopamine from from social media that we either tune out or it just like it doesn't seem like it's important and and I can see people in the chat saying the same thing that we always hear is like once you start talking about Bitcoin once you say the B word people instantly tune out and it's only a matter of time until people wake up to what's going on here so you know plant those Bitcoin fundamentals into people's minds without using the B word usually helps and and goes a long way and then you find like hey you know have you heard about Bitcoin here's the pill take it but yeah man it just it just goes to show that the world is waking up and every metric that I'm seeing is pointing towards the fact that I think in 2025 more people are going to wake up to the scam that is Fiat and of course the safety boat that is Bitcoin and hey we're here for it so I'm I am super excited yes yes hold on hold on Arthur you can buy our merch with Bitcoin if you so want to yeah exactly go and go click scan the QR code it'll take you directly to the website and you could you could pay you pay in Bitcoin I think a lot I think wine set up the lightning yeah yeah yeah we got you got we got you guys back we got you guys rep some simply Bitcoin merch anyways so yeah man it's a really really exciting stuff alright guys let's jump into the news we got a lot to cover today before we get into news actually right now we are currently sitting pretty at 70 likes help us maintain our streak let's break a hundred likes within the out first hour of the live stream so if you're enjoying the show make sure to smash that like but it smashes mess mess wait wait wait can we do a legacy smash the like button Nico something like that anyways guys let's get to the news the daily news I want to give a shout out to our sponsor foundation devices it's self -custody done right they built a premium grade hardware wallet called passport right here in the u .s.

"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin. It's going up forever, bro. Bitcoin! You're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo! Welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution of color -breaking news, culture, and medical warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and stay. Today, we're going to cover an interesting topic. I think I saw someone else making content in relation to this topic, and I thought it would be interesting. I thought it would be interesting to cover it, but what we're going to do differently is we're going to cover all the sources, and the million dollar question, or the million sat question, better said, is how much Bitcoin does it take to be in the top one percent of Bitcoin holders? That's the question, right? And there's so many different answers to that, right? Because it's like, of Bitcoin holders around the world, of just overall Bitcoin holders. So we're going to lay out, you know, all the cases, all the cases that everyone makes. So it's going to be a really good show. I'm excited. And yeah, it's going to be fun. And of course, I have my legendary co -host with me. He's always optimistic. Giant smile on his face, like always. How are you doing, Opie? I'm good, bro. The intro, the intro cracks me up every single day. Anyways, I'm doing well. I'm doing well, great and well. I'm doing well. Yeah, what's up, everyone in the chat? I'm doing well, too, bro. I'm doing well. Dude, it's already early. I'm already getting roasted in the chat. So, hey, it's going to be a good day. But yeah, I'm interested on touching this topic. I know all of you guys out there want a little feel good, hope you get some dopamine rushes and feel good about your stacks. And then for the people that are new stackers, these are the goals that you're going to have to, well, not have to, that you'd want to hit. I mean, in my era, it was 6 .15, but I think we're in a new era now, Nico. I think this is a new part of the cycle. But anyways, let's get into the show. Guys, it's just a button up, but thank you. Thank you. We have, Opti's getting professional. Opti's getting professional. I wear this on the regular. Anyway, let's bring in our guests. Let's bring in our guests. I'm wearing a complete Bitcoin merch. But someone asked, Tyler Durden asked, how about the 0 .1 %? We have the answer to that as well. We have you covered. We have you covered. Anyways, I want to bring up our very special guest, Anil. He makes amazing content on Twitter, some of the best. How you doing, bro? Welcome to the show. Doing great, gents. Thank you for having me. Appreciate you joining us, man. Opti, what are we going to cover during the - Well, I'm going to not only tee up Anil on some of his Bitcoin education work, but we will talk about, I saw you just released a book, some of your other stuff, all the other content that you're doing. And I think on today's show, I want to kind of dive in on why Bitcoin with you, Anil, because I know that's one of the big things that you talk about and how everything converges to money, how scarcity, scarce money, leads to abundance of everything. I think today is going to be a good lesson for people and we're going to get them stupidly bullish. I know I said bullish too much today, but I think today, especially considering what Nico is going to cover, I think it'll be a good, like well -rounded episode where we can explain their goals, their stacking goals, and then why we hold Bitcoin. So I think it's going to be a great show. All right, before we jump into it, is it still 6 .15? Is that still the goal? It always will be, always will be, bro. Anil, what do you think? Oh man, I got to, sorry guys, I got to reject the frame. You know, it's a different number for everyone. Okay, okay, okay. Could you elaborate? What does that mean? What does that mean? It means that if you tie, in the same, it's the same problem with fiat wealth, right? You're tying your happiness to some particular number that when you get there, everything will be great. And that's just, we know that's not true. Okay, wisdom. I think you'll be happier just adopting Bitcoin as a unit of account, because you will always see that increasing in what you can buy. Gotcha. I love that. So it's not a number goal. It's a, it's just adopting Bitcoin. And then that changes your perspective on the world. I absolutely love that. That makes me want to change the topic of today's video, but we do not have time to do that. So we're going to jump straight into it. All right, guys, let's jump straight into numbers. Let's do it. Here we go.

A highlight from Bukele's Plan to Keep El Salvador Bitcoin Country | EP 818
"They're really, really serious about this Bitcoin thing. So anyways, that's what I wanted to cover today. I think it's really, really important that not only is Bitcoin taught to kids at a very, very young age, but also more importantly, that, you know, this happens worldwide, right? And I'm gonna pass this question to Alex. Alex, do you think it's a coincidence that financial education is not given in high school? Money is not talked about during high school. Is that a coincidence? What's going on there? Not at all. I don't think that's a coincidence at all. If you look at the type of things that are being taught in American schools today, this concept of really demoralizing the nation and kind of getting people into this mode that goes along with this feeling of disempowerment. So it kind of switches them into this mode where they just don't believe in the system. They feel very disempowered. They want to attack everything that has anything to do with power or authority or unfortunately, even success. Like there's this video that I saw the other day that I thought was really good. It was called Postmodern Resentment. I'm trying to remember the name of the guy that had it, but he was basically talking about how like people get into this situation where, especially in an environment like this, where you've got inflation that is so high, people begin to feel powerless. So once they begin to feel powerless, if they own that enough, they start to resent anybody who's doing well. And that is a perfect breeding ground for these types of ideas, which are then used really to destroy the systems of the existing free state. That's a very dangerous pathway. And I think it was Bastiat that said, and I'm paraphrasing him, because this is not the exact quote, but it's something like this, is that if you want to take over a country, you do it in the schools. And I saw this kind of stuff happening many years ago. I want to say in the early 2000s, I was very concerned about it. In fact, I even left the United States for a period of almost 11 years to live in another country, because I didn't want my kids growing up in that school system. I think it's very dangerous and it's leading to a lot of not ideal outcomes right now. Yeah, a hundred percent. I 100 % agree with you. You sense it. It's this very defeatist mindset, nihilistic mindset, but at the same time, I really believe that the root cause of it is Fiat itself. I think if you corrupt the base layer of society, if the base layer of society is based on lies, I think that has a lot of unintended consequences. It infects every facet of society. I don't think that it's a coincidence that the first society that fixed the base layer, made Bitcoin legal tender, the person that was elected into office is actually doing the things that he said he was gonna do if he was elected. I do not think that's a coincidence, but maybe I'm seeing things. I did ask Max and Stacy. Stacy agreed. I did ask Jimmy Song. Jimmy Song agreed, but I think it's too early to tell. I'm cautious to say statements like that. But anyways, Opti, what's your take on this? What's your take on that video? And shout out to our chat, because someone in the chat was someone that pointed out, that's Edward Griffin that's doing that interview. And again, we all know the book that he wrote. Anyways, Opti, what's your take? Yeah, so first and foremost, as a product of the American public school student, I think this is awesome. And for those that aren't from America, that don't get the meme about being an American public school student, it basically means that it's a running joke that you're dumber than your counterparts that go to a private school or are homeschooled. And look, Niko, you said that we're not gonna say that it's by design, but I'm gonna double down and say that I think it is by design. Sorry, bro, but it's very obvious. And you're not taught, and we're obviously being rhetorical in these questions, why are we not taught about money or the inner workings of money and how they work? And again, I'm gonna say that it's by design, because if people understood the inner workings of banking, of the Federal Reserve, of money, of state controlling money, I think they would get pissed off. What's that one saying? If people knew how banking worked, there'd be a revolution overnight. So again, what do we say? There's no coincidences, but there's also - There's no conspiracies, but there's also - There's no conspiracies, but there's no coincidences. Exactly, and it's like, you can't have one without the other. You can't have a financial system that is designed to steal from them and have an educated citizenry. It just doesn't work like that, or else people would get pissed off and things would change. And obviously, the status quo wants to remain the same. And look, maybe this is Niko and Opti, or rather, we'll say just Opti being conspiratorial here, but Safteen even says it himself, where basically American public schools are designed to make you into a Soviet labor worker, something on the lines of our American public school system was designed in such a way that they took it from the Soviet Russia education system, and they basically just make you and design you to be a factory worker. So of course, they're not gonna educate you on money or tell you how the inner workings of banking work. Of course, this is by design. And yes, of course, in this topic about El Salvador, there is some concern about it being state mandated and the threat there. And I know Bitcoiners get skeptical and we're always looking at attack vectors, but I would say overall that this is a benefit for not only El Salvador, but for the kids out there. We say it all the time and shouts at the fossil, he says it, but it's about the kids. And the best way to make Bitcoiners is to teach them young. You don't have to talk to the older generation and have them unlearn everything about what they think to be true. Again, I just watched the big short the other day, and what's that Mark Twain quote in the beginning of, it's not what you know that is wrong, it's what you think you know that isn't true, that really hurts you. And this is where we are. There's so many people out there, we would say the majority of the citizenry in America or in the first world, that believe that the world works a certain way and it's literally what is causing them to be poor. So like, I don't know. I mean, I think it's very smart to start with the kids and get them on a Bitcoin education program. And obviously we haven't been able to fully decipher what the program is, but if it's being led by Safedean, I am sure it's going to be an epic, epic Bitcoin education program. And it really makes me think of, I grew up playing lacrosse as a kid. And so I learned a little bit about native Americans. And one of the things that I really enjoyed is the meme of seven generation thinking. And we have Yuri saying it on the opposite side, that if you get a control of the kid's mind in what, 30 years, 10 years, a few decades, you can completely change the fabric of society. And this is where we are. And so we're going to have to do the opposite, but in a positive manner is teach people how to be Bitcoiners, why Bitcoin, why hard money and start with them young. So like, you know, there's kids out there already that have been living in a Bitcoin only world. And it's just already second nature to them. You know, like my little, I have a cousin, she's like 10 years old and I'll send her Bitcoin and she has a Bitcoin wallet. And she's just like, this is so much easier than banking. It's like, it's so simple. If this is the first thing you've encountered, like Nico and I talk about all the time. If you go to a bank as a kid, they won't even let you get a bank account and you just download an app. And it's like, okay, here you go. You are your own bank. Mom, send me some sats. It's as easy as that. And the kids are going to grow up. They're already tech savvy and this is going to be second nature for them. And this is how we win that culture wars by instilling in them young that Bitcoin is the way you save. And why are you holding this fake paper money? Like what is going on here? Like you old people are crazy. Oh man. Oh man. Opti, Opti is the in -house. I'm the voice of the audience here. Opti is the in -house, outside the Overton window guy. Anyways. I'm not even that far outside. I'm just like, here guys, come here, come here. Like you're almost there. You're almost there. A highlight from Blackrock Increases Bitcoin Stack | EP 811
"You You're against freedom Good morning everybody. We are back. What a weekend. We were in Austin all weekend. But anyways anyways Crazy stuff happening BlackRock increases their Bitcoin exposure But not in the way that everyone thought there was some speculation on the timeline on BlackRock stacking But they are getting exposure in every way possible Recent news shows that they've been buying a bunch of public mining company stocks So we're gonna get into all that news and then of course we just came back from Austin We were in BitBock boom so awesome to see all you guys in the flesh Hang out with Bitcoin family members as I like to call them friends acquaintances new faces old faces It was a great weekend and we streamed the whole thing live on YouTube I think it's on the Swan and the Gary's BitBock boom channel so if you want to catch all that we got it all recorded for you on the YouTube verse, but The reason I bring that up not only because we had a great time but there was another conference that happened over the weekend It wasn't by Bitcoiners though. It was by your favorite central bankers out there in Jackson Hole, Wyoming So I'm gonna kind of contrast the two we have the Bitcoin BitBock boom conference in Austin And then we have the central bankers meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming So, I don't know I thought it's very fitting that the two happen on the same weekend and we'll see the difference between The fiat monetary policy handlers and the Bitcoiners and the energy coming out of there You just love to see the contrast and of course guys also as you can tell I'm hosting the show today I will actually be hosting the show till probably Wednesday Nico has some family stuff that he has to take care of so send some thoughts and prayers over to Nico He will be back in a couple of days, but you guys know the show don't stop This is why we've been doing our best To make sure that I handle the show that we're training our boys Dell and Rustin on the show and we even have some people Coming off on the bench. I'm here with my co -host Dell Dell. How you doing this morning, brother? I'm good, but I got a got to do a quick correction to what you said about that other Symposium the the meeting over in Jackson Hole. You said it wasn't put on by Bitcoiners I'll change that too. It wasn't put on by Bitcoiners yet Yet they will be just joy just wait given enough time Everybody's gonna come around and see the bright orange light of Bitcoin. It's unavoidable Let's go. Alright guys. Well, let's get into the show. We got a lot to cover today The Bitcoin numbers is your Bitcoin in cold storage really secure is your seed phrase Really secure stamp seeds do -it -yourself kit has everything you need to hammer your seed words into commercial grade Titanium plates instead of just writing them on paper. Don't store your generational wealth on paper Papers prone to water damage fire damage. No risk of the plate breaking apart and pieces falling everywhere Titanium stamp seeds will survive nearly triple the heat produced by a house fire They're also crush proof waterproof non -corrosive and time proof all things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for The long haul stamp your seed on stamps Alright guys, as you know hit the QR code in the bottom and get yourself a seed phrase storage kit Do not leave your Bitcoin seed phrase on paper in your sock drawer Anyways, let's get into some of the numbers here. Of course. We're over here on Clark Moody's dashboard and Our favorite number the block high it keeps going up guys. It's almost like Bitcoin works. It is at eight hundred and five thousand one hundred 82 for the new all -time high of block height the current Bitcoin price is twenty six thousand one hundred and twenty dollars guys We're still in the 26k range Which means you have an opportunity to stack more sets than we did what two weeks ago? Which means the Moscow time aka the sats per dollar aka how much your Fiat dollars worth? It's currently at three thousand eight hundred and twenty Six and I did drop a poll in the chat guys. Are we gonna see 4k sets? I don't know Let's see what you guys think. Let's speculate a little bit in the chat for you guys get you involved Anyways, the total percentage of Bitcoin issued is at ninety two point seven one percent the current market cap in Fiat dollar terms is five hundred and eight point eight billion dollars Bitcoin isn't even at a Trillion -dollar market cap yet. We're a half a trillion Anyways, the realized monetary inflation taking fiat currencies to school was at one point seven five percent and someone asked me on telegram What what does this number mean? It means like even though Bitcoin is hard cap there is a realized monetary inflation until 2140 until the last Bitcoin gets released and That is going to get halved and cut in half in April and actually dealt maybe Can we can we talk about your your dad the little story you just told us in regards to the halving and and this number The monetary or realized monetary inflation. I think this might be an interesting little story, but tldr me I know how you like to talk so tldrs The long and short of it is if you keep on talking To people and you keep on blasting them every time you get on the phone with them about Bitcoin then sooner or later They'll either I guess I guess there's a bit you run the risk of them telling you to never speak again, but Sometimes they might start to see some some of the things they might go. Wait a second so if the halving means that there's less Bitcoin to be found and there's only ever gonna be X amount 21 million and More people want it as time goes on. That means that the price goes up, right? And I'm like like Lavi said that was a tldr of my my conversation with my dad and I said that's exactly what it means There's only so much it's gonna get more and more scarce and the price can only go one way so Yeah, they're waking up. They're be they're noticing people are noticing. Okay last couple numbers We have the Bitcoin verse gold market cap is only currently 3 .96 percent of the gold market cap If you remember gold is I believe around 10 trillion dollars Bitcoin Still less than half a chair above a little more than half a trillion. Anyways, the total lightning capacity is 24 ,746 point nine four BTC the hash rate the last 90 days is 377 point four exa hashes and the pending fees is currently three point one one BTC Okay, guys as I was telling you guys This weekend we had a contrast between two different Conferences we had bit block boom in Austin the Bitcoin maxi conference Well, all your favorite bitcoiners were and we were live streaming from the floor. We were holding down the media desk and we had the central bankers meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and I just I that the irony isn't lost on me that they happen on the same weekend, but you can tell that there is complete difference in Ideologies and the feeling coming out of these conferences and first and foremost I'm pretty sure we played this video for you guys over the weekend on the streams, but I want to play it again Because you can just see not only the hubris of Christine Lagarde, but notice the body language of her Does she really believe what she's saying or is she just saying this stuff just to say it to play the confidence game? And I also got a story or a newsletter article Sorry coming out a couple days later about what was said at the conference And again, we are contrasting this to bitcoins monetary policy because that's what it's all about and remember what Dells dad just said People are starting to wake up. People are starting to notice and they're starting to understand Wow, maybe I want to get some Bitcoin just in case just catches on Anyways, we have a tweet here by Christine Lagarde. She goes hello from the Jackson Hole economic policy symposium I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts and exchanging views with central bankers from around the globe on the very relevant theme of Structural shifts in the global economy Thanks for hosting the event Kansas City Fed. All right, let's just get into this little video notice her body language And what is she even saying here? Anyway, let's get into this to all of you and I would like to share this Magnificent panorama that is behind me. It is the setting of the Jackson Hole conference that takes place every year It is a little bit like the Sintra of the West except it's been around for longer Many central bank governance many academics many experts in monetary policy and on the economy in general Will be gathering for two days and we will talk about the current situation The major shifts that we are seeing the major breaks and how we can best response with good policies That will actually help bring inflation back to 2 % This is the goal. This is the mission. We're not done yet We are working hard But we also have to compare notes and share our views with others so that we can have really the highest level of confidence That we are taking everything into account, but this is a very inspiring place to do it Interesting, okay first and foremost, of course they are still struggling to maintain 2 % inflation rate as we like to call it, you know, the the publicly Acceptable amount a Purchasing power they can steal from you every year is 2 % and they're struggling to get back down as we've been covering for a long time on the show The inflation rate the official inflation rate CPI is nowhere near 2 % It almost got as high as 10 % I think there's somewhere roughly around 3 % right now and they are still working on getting that lower But anyways, let's talk about what they actually talked about or as Christine Lagarde was saying You know share our notes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, you know It might sound Very very simple very innocent. We're just gonna share our notes so that we know what's going on in the world So we're all on the same page Some might say they're conspiring but hey, let's not go down that path Okay We're over here on Bloomberg and we have an article here and it goes at Jackson Hole post inflation challenges vex central bankers and the subtitle Is pledge policymakers to keep rates high until inflation is tame as you can tell the theme is inflation is not tamed Anyways, let's get into this article and I will jump back and forth on a few different articles from Bloomberg and then of course I am going to angle this in regards to Bitcoin and Bitblock boom that we just all were hanging out with over the weekend in Austin so the world's top central bankers stress the need to keep interest rates high until inflation is contained and Their job harder at an annual Federal Reserve gathering in Jackson Hole Wyoming keynote speeches from Fed chair Jerome Powell and European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde on Friday Laid out the challenges each is facing in deciding if they should extend Historic strings of rate increases that began last year at the same time They offered investors few clues as to whether they would in fact Do so in the coming months and there's a link here and I want to jump on to this other link real quick Because of course as Bitcoiners, we know what our monetary policy is and yet people are still out here Waiting for the people in suits to tell them what is happening with their money Anyways, what are these clues that they're talking about? So Powell has bond traders right where he wants them full of doubt Interesting interesting as we know monetary policy at least in the fiat world is a game of trust a game of confidence and Playing with that confidence they want you full of doubt so you don't know which way they're gonna go Are they gonna pivot are they you know, they're gonna lower rates.

A highlight from Why Bitcoin is NOT an Option it's Survival | EP 808
"Yo, welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, our number one source for the PC. Today we're going to talk about a interesting topic, a topic that holds near and dear to my heart. Bitcoin is just, it's not just an investment, it is not just a, you know, this speculative asset. We have that famous saying in Bitcoin, right, you came for the money, you stay for the revolution. But if you are in the lower and middle classes, if you are in the lower and the younger generations, specifically the Zoomer generation, the millennial generation, your time has been stolen from you via inflation, via the system itself. And today I'm going to make the case as to why not only do you need Bitcoin to survive, but you need Bitcoin to thrive. In yesterday's episode, we covered how the lowest, the amount of money that millennials and Gen Z 'ers need to retire, comfortable retirement, moved from that magic number of a million dollars and it moved up to three to five million dollars. And that will continue to happen under the fiat system in 10 years. I'm sure those numbers will be even higher. What is required to retire? And obviously, right, if you live in a system where the purchasing power of the money that you're earning and saving in is literally designed to lose value, of course that's going to happen. But if you live in an opposite system, if you adopt a Bitcoin standard, something that Opti and I have adopted, something that the country of El Salvador adopted, something that Michael Saylor has adopted, look at all the wonders it has done. Michael MicroStrategy Saylor's has outperformed every S &P 500. The average S &P 500 has outperformed a lot of the tech stocks. It's even outperformed Bitcoin. In Naeem Bukhale's case and El Salvador's case, his bond is the best performing bond of all of Central and South America. Right. Do you think that's a coincidence? The country that adopted a Bitcoin standard is performing as well as it is. It's almost as if, you know, the government is acting on aligned incentives. And I could speak what Bitcoin has done for me personally, adopting a Bitcoin standard about roughly seven to eight years ago, it's going to be eight year, very, very, in my eighth year, very, very soon. I could tell you what it has done for me personally, right? It completely changes the playing field. All of a sudden you have the hope, you have the ability to plan for a better future. So we're going to dive into that today. And what is the alternative? The alternative is a national currency, a political currency, a currency that is designed to steal from you. Right. And at any time this is confronted, what I've noticed is that they just completely ignore it. And I think that the reason that they ignore it in the first place is because they don't have a good answer to that. Right. I've referenced this paper that was written by the U .S. Treasury, which was a response by an executive order issued by the Biden administration. And the name of the paper was called The Future of Money and Payments. And in that paper, in the eyes of the current administration, future of money or payments are stable coins, payment platforms, central bank, digital currencies. And it also made the case as to why you need a government to issue money. But what was not issued in that paper, what was not mentioned in that paper, better said, was Bitcoin. And then you have to start thinking about it like Bitcoin is this insane innovation. It's been made the legal tender of a country. But why can't they admit that the future of like Bitcoin could potentially be, you know, the future of money and payments? Because if they admitted that, they would also have to admit that a currency can exist without inflation. And that is like opening Pandora's box. That is how you get people asking very, very tough questions. That is how you shift the Overton window from this radical concept of inflation has to exist. It's like it's a, you know, law of nature. And you slowly start shifting that Overton window. And again, that's not just the theory. This is happening in real time in Argentina, where the libertarian candidate won the presidential primary. And he has a very good shot at becoming president. And he's saying exactly what us Bitcoiners have been saying for quite a while now. Inflation is theft. Inflation is a hidden tax that not not that many people, not that not only are people not aware of it, people, people, they didn't sign up for it. Right. It's like we already have income tax. We already have to pay income tax. That's a whole other thing that I don't want to get into. But we have all have to pay this hidden tax of inflation so that the governments could, you know, print money and pay for these crazy things, whatever whatever is off the top of their mind. You know, I saw it the other day that the current administration, again, we're not political on simply Bitcoin, whether it's a Republican or Democrat in office, either or they do the same thing. They print money and devalue everyone else's money. But what I saw was that there was this recent catastrophe in Maui, in Hawaii, and they agreed to send over seven million dollars, but they also agreed to send twenty four billion to Ukraine to fight a war that all of that would not be possible. This misallocation of capital, if it wasn't for the money printer, the money printer is the issue. It's not enough to end the Fed. Right. Because when you hear those topics like end the Fed, replace it with the gold standard and the Fed period, just don't replace it or anything, replace it with Bitcoin. Right. A monetary policy that is set in stone that can't be changed by anyone. Rules without rulers. Anyways, it's going to be a great show. Really excited. I want to bring up my legendary co -host, always optimistic. Opti, what are we going to talk about during the culture today? Well, before you is it just that it's actually, I think, well, it's just us until we're in Austin at Bitblock Boom. I'm sure we will corral some friends to give you guys some some extra sauce on the show. And that's why everyone's yelling at us in the chat. Like you guys are late to your own party. We were brainstorming. We're trying to figure out how to get you guys the best content by the end of the week. But hold on. Before I get into what we're doing in the culture. I can tell that you really are passionate about this one, Niko, I can tell by the very illustrious monologue on today's show that this is going to be a good one. And I'm actually doing something similar on the culture today. Again, I just mentioned we're going to be at Bitblock Boom this week. And it really made me think about like, why do you go to these conferences? And most people go not only just to meet Bitcoiners, but to work in Bitcoin. So I'm going to do like an entrepreneur work in Bitcoin thing, kind of a little recap, maybe a little story time on how we got here and what we are doing and hopefully just give people some advice, give them some value and inspire them to also figure out ways that they can contribute, that they can get paid doing what they love. So this is the goal for everything we do here at Simply Bitcoin is to save in Bitcoin, live a good life and continue to prosper. And it's on the same vein. It's just it's a little more less esoteric and more just practical, pragmatic advice on doing and building businesses in Bitcoin moving forward. So I know I'm excited for this one. I've been thinking about this one for the last couple of days. I was going to wait till tomorrow, but I think it might fit better today. So I don't know, it might even turn into an article. I'm still working through it, but I think you guys are like this one. Awesome. Awesome. Also, I want to mention, guys, we do have your back. If you're still trying to if you're interested in going to Bitblock Boom and you want to discount on your tickets, you can use promo code all caps, Simply Bitcoin, and it'll get you a nice discount to Bitblock Boom. Hope to see a lot of you guys there. And for anyone who doesn't know, Bitblock Boom was the first time Opti and I met each other in the flesh, in person. And this was absolutely crazy. This would only happen in Bitcoin land. We actually decided to get a room together to save some money. I was going to bring that up to what we'll talk about later. So, yeah, man, it's I love these conferences. It's good. Look, it's fine talking across the interwebs. I get it. You know, we're all like kind of plugged into this Bitcoin matrix. I get it. But, you know, these in -person events are very, very, very special. The only thing, though, that I would say because I ran into this issue the other day is that, like, I wish people just wore like like like a little lanyard with their Bitcoin, sorry, with their Twitter X .com avatar on it so that I could actually recognize people, because what tends to happen a lot of the time, people come up to me and they're like, yo, Nico, yo, Opti. And I'm like, dude, I don't know. Like, hey, what's up, man? Like, how are you? And they're like, where's your profile pic? I'm in this. I'm this person from the Internet. And I'm like, oh, what's up, man? I've knew you. I've knew you this entire time. So that's really interesting. That's the only recommendation that I would say. Print out your profile pic. Post it. No, no, no, no, don't dox yourself. I don't dox yourself. OK. All right. Then I guess it's just going to keep happening. I don't know. Surprise. Just surprise us. Wait, don't get mad when we're like, wait, who are you? Sorry, bro. I need your profile picture. That's why I said it, because I always feel so bad, you know? And then and then when they tell me, I'm like, oh, what's up, man? How are you? How's everything? Anyways, anyways, it's going to be a great show. Wait, we're getting roast in the chat, Nico. We'll talk about it later. Get in the show. Get in the show. All right, let's do it. Let's jump straight into the numbers.

"Welcome to another episode of Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the separation of money and state Elon Musk dumps the price that's what people were saying that apparently SpaceX sold I think was like three hundred million dollars worth of Bitcoin but apparently that got debunked apparently that wasn't the case you know they were using a Bitcoin magazine initially broke the news off a Wall Street Journal article which is weird because they did sell they did say in the article that they sold it but then the community note feature on Twitter said that there's no evidence of it so I don't know what to think but I do I'll tell you I'll tell you something it is quite a coincidence that this article came out and then the price dumped the way it did maybe some market manipulation I don't know who knows but all I know is that it's cheaper sats for me and I've definitely been stacking like a crazy person the last couple of days holy cow anyways also we're gonna dive a little bit deeper more into of the details of the news that we covered on Monday in regards to Argentina's leading presidential candidate Javier Mele and this guy has a really good shot at becoming the president of Argentina and once again moving the Overton window and we're gonna talk about what that because we taught we've referenced the Overton window a lot on this show we're gonna talk about whether this guy gets elected or not the fact that he's making it popular he's making it acceptable to talk about the fact that central banks are trash inflation is theft inflation is a tax and the more those concepts become mainstream the more people will be open to alternatives like Bitcoin so whether this guy wins or not there's a really good possibility that he does I'm really glad that he's having these conversations also we have a very special guest and we were able to connect in Canada and Adam from Bitcoin well how you doing buddy happy to happy to get to talk with you again yeah it's good to be here thanks for having me on looking forward to chatting I mean is price manipulation from Elon even a story at this point or is that just kind of like every few months this is this is the way I don't know dude I guess so like it's doge and then it's like what's Walsh is Wall Street Journal trying to like stack some cheaper sats like this is I don't know what's going on bro but like it you can't tell me that it's a coincidence right what's that saying there's no conspiracies but there's also no coincidences you can't tell me that you know that they released this article this hit piece basically then the price of Bitcoin dumps and then on Twitter of which Elon owns they're like no no that's not what it said I don't know I don't know I don't know we'll talk about it but let me bring up my legendary co -host always optimistic he has a his a smile yeah he's optimistic today it's Friday of course he's feeling optimistic I was distracted on the back end Nico this is what you guys been waiting for I've been telling you guys for a minute on the show like I think we have one more leg down who would have known I like who would have thunk that corporate press it's going to flood Bitcoin so that they could pack their bags allegedly allegedly guys but we've been telling you this for a minute that this is the game plan and so it lets you know it's not a coincidence that this is happening but hey you know is is Elon actually selling his Bitcoin we'll see who knows it doesn't really matter like I don't care what he does why do people still look to authority figures to stack Bitcoin makes absolutely no sense to me but hey this is where we are right now and it's only a matter of time until everyone wakes up to why they need some Bitcoin and I'm super excited for today's show not only is it Friday but we had a great conversation before this show started and and Nico's got high energy today guys I don't know if you can tell but he's smiling he feels good it's a good Friday show so there's gonna be a good one we might even get a Nico Jones rant today guys so who knows who knows anyways Nico let's start the show let's start it bro you know why I'm so high energy I had a I was swan slaw last night I know I hate coffee I was at I don't need coffee I know sometimes a nicotine gum here and there but I need a lot of coffee that st.

Simply Bitcoin
A highlight from El Salvadors Bitcoin Strategy Draws JPMorgan | EP 805
"Welcome to Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin Revolution code breaking news called Traumatic Warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state. El Salvador stays winning breaking tweets from Bloomberg Quote El Salvador president Naim Bukele scared off Wall Street by embracing Bitcoin Two years later the bond rally he's overseeing is proving too lucrative to resist It's almost as if we told you so It's almost as if bitcoins incentives stay winning. Do you remember what the IMF said? What happened when El Salvador embraced a Bitcoin standard? Remember what they said it's gonna cause Financial mayhem it was gonna be horrible for the people of El Salvador boy, oh boy were they proven wrong and Remember what the IMF did in Argentina? They gave Argentina bail up a part of that part of the conditions of the bailout was that the Argentine government had to De -incentivize the adoption of Bitcoin in the country So it looks like El Salvador who didn't listen to the IMF is prospering and it looks like Argentina The government of Argentina better said who did listen to the IMF It's not doing so hot with that hundred plus percent inflation It's almost as if the IMF is not doing good by these countries maybe anyways, I Want to bring up my legendary co -host always optimistic. This is gonna be a good one. It's gonna be good What are we gonna cover during the culture? Oh, yeah culture. I am just gonna double down I probably said this so many times on the show But people still seem to want to complicate things in regards to what's the best Bitcoin strategy and you know I'm gonna just do a little Opti soapbox today So hey, you know forgive me beforehand you already know what's coming But I want to simplify things for people on and I have a few friends tweets here That we're gonna help me illustrate and elaborate on this point because we're all coming to the same conclusion guys You know stay humble stacks at stay solvent This is the way it's so simple, but people like to complicate things because you know in the Fiat world that we live in Complex solutions Seem to be everyone's favorite thing to be doing and it's very simple guys simplify your life and and your life will improve And that's what we're all here to do is improve our lives moving forward and live a better life and Bitcoin allows this for us So I'm gonna do one of those things 100 % 100 % guys simply Bitcoin Simply Bitcoin goes live Monday through Friday at 12 15 p .m. Anyways, I want to talk about this so It's interesting The song went viral and it's Richmond north of Richmond and we're actually going to talk about that today And if you take a look at the Wikipedia article it says that some of the Again, I'm not gonna touch on any of the culture or political issues, but I want to this is a Bitcoin show after all So I'm going to talk about inflation, right? And also high taxes not from the direct taxation, but from the hidden tax of inflation, right? And they say the songs lyrics around around common right -wing talking points such as inflation Like you guys know the deal here at simply Bitcoin. We don't lean left. We don't mean right Bitcoin is inherently apolitical We played you a video of Andreas Antonopoulos and he was making the case as to why that is I just find it interesting how you know and this is exactly why we stay from politics By the way, because I believe that Fiat governments really have this divide and conquer strategy You know where they pit The political left against the political rights and whoever part would it whichever parties in power the other party that's not in power Blames all of everyone's economic hardships on the party who's in power and then it's like this kind of revolving door But regardless of what power what parties in power the issue remains the same they print a lot of money and that devalues everyone's money who's holding this holding that money and It affects the lower and middle classes Disproportionately because they don't have the means to save in assets Therefore when they print money and the value of those assets rise the lower and middle classes don't benefit from that That's why you hear the the the the same thing over and over again the rich get richer the poor get poorer That's not because capitalism is broken. The free market is broken. That is literally because the money is a wealth redistribution Mechanism so again, like I this is you know, this is like smoke and mirrors like it's like don't pay attention to inflation That's a right -wing talking point, you know, forget about it And that's not only simply Bitcoin saying this we have Walker Walker America is part of the crypto couple very talented content creators and He goes on to say if you truly believe inflation is a right -wing talking point You might want to ask yourself why the other political party is not concerned with these things, right and I Disagree with that in the sense because I think that regardless of what side of the aisle you are in I think it really matters to you if your money is devaluing like if you're purchasing power is decreasing I don't think that is a you know, that is a I don't think that that goes with with a certain Ideology or political belief I truly believe that this is just a divide -and -conquer type of strategy And honestly this song really hit a nerve with people And the reason it really hit a nerve with people is because and the only reason it really hurt a nerve with people The only reason things go viral whether it's a tweet or whether it's a meme is because it resonates with other people People are thinking something very similar and the piece of content that you made whether that's a piece of music Whether that's a meme whether that's text like like a tweet Or a post now that a text .com the only reason it does it performs well is because it's resonating with other people people are Feeling that emotion people are understanding that then this is a song that really resonated with me And I'm sure that it resonated with a lot of you guys I actually want to play the first minute of the song So we can kind of react to it and take a look at the wording and also Remember what I said about the lower and middle classes and how inflation right is really really Hurting them the most inflation is theft inflation is the hidden tax and it affects everybody whether you lean Ideologically to the left or you lean ideologically to the right.

Eastern every morning to become part of the conversation yourself. Thanks again. We look forward to bringing you the best Bitcoin content daily here on the Cafe Bitcoin Podcast. All right. Good morning, everybody. We are starting today off with a very solemn topic, very serious topic. There's a doctored version of a marketing video for a gold fund that I managed, which has been used to spin a pretty nasty narrative. With some pretty nasty allegations. Over a decade ago, I trusted and worked for two guys. Who years later went on to defraud and steal the investments of a number of people. I worked for these guys for several years before leaving to start. Two regulated gold funds. With no idea at the time that they were bad actors. The marketing video that this person doctored was for one of these regulated gold funds. It was not for these two guys as the video this person has published insinuates. Oh, some time ago, these guys sent a letter to their retail gold investors telling them basically that the gold was all gone. Then they went dark. Nobody's ever seen or heard from these guys again. So, I feel terrible for anyone who lost their money to these people to clear the decks because there's a lot of nonsense going on in regards to this. There's a lot of speculation. There's a lot of assumptions. I just want to clear the air here. I'm in contact with some of these investors. Some of them are friends. I have given assistance that I could to help them try to recover assets. I have reached out to others and offered to do the same. By the way, some people are saying that they've tried to reach out to me and that I haven't helped them. I'm not that hard to find. I'm a pretty public person. I will continue to do anything I can to help these people. That said, the allegations made against myself in this video and the accompanying tweet are very serious. The allegations are that one, the original video that was posted is a fake and done with a green screen in a studio versus being in an actual Swiss vault. Two, that our gold fund never had any gold. And three, that this video was somehow used to recruit retail investors for the aforementioned scammers. All that is completely false. So I'm going to pause here if Brady or Nico maybe has anything to add, and then I will continue to talk about the video itself. Yeah. Hey, guys. Brady here. Yeah, so the video posted yesterday, I mean, these people who post disingenuous videos like this, they start with some kind of hook, like some kind of a quote unquote evidence to make you think that the person in the video is lying. And in this case, Mars posted quote unquote evidence in the form of these glitches in the video, like these sort of pixels that flash on and off as being evidence that Alex is standing in front of a green screen and is lying about being in Switzerland in a vault looking at gold. And talking about the gold that's in the custody of this accredited, regulated fund for accredited investors called PFG, not AFE, which the video also says that it was made for AFE. Which Alex just spoke about the two, those two guys that ended up rugging, they that the video was made, it's clear like right, right underneath the text where it says where Mars is saying this video was made for AFE, it has a logo of the PFG, the fund that it's the accredited fund that Alex is making the video for. So he's also lying about that. And it's hilarious because it's like right on top of it's obvious it's right on top of that. The glitches are just some video compression thing. They appear on top of the gold bars themselves in the close up. It's obviously not a part of the green screen, like the entire, you know, video is filled with a gold bar and you can still see those glitches going. Alex was in the green screen. What's that? I said the alleged green screen. Yeah, you said it's not a part of the green screen, but it's an alleged green screen. Yeah, it's obviously, well, yeah, exactly the alleged green screen and it's obvious it's not, it's some kind of video compression thing. There's no chroma key, no green, faint green outline that you might see around somebody when when there's a green screen, he's pointing to these glitches. It's complete bullshit. But they use that to establish the fact that, you know, oh, you start doubting that Alex might be lying about all this. Maybe he's not really in Switzerland. Maybe he's not really, you know, you know, showing gold that belongs to this fund or something like that. And that it's all a cover up for this, you know, very unfortunate thing to happen that Alex had no part in. And I'll let him continue talking about that. But the video itself is completely disingenuous and a sham and really, like, poorly done one at that.

A highlight from EXPOSED: Why Joe Rogan AVOIDS Bitcoin | EP 800
"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin It's going up forever, man Yo, welcome to another episode of Simply Bitcoin Live, your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution, code -breaking news, culture, and manic warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Joe Rogan, the most popular broadcaster in the world has not had a predominant Bitcoiner on his show in quite a while. I know someone in the comments said, what are you talking about? He's had Andreas Antonopoulos on the show, like multiple times. That was years ago. In this cycle, you know, Michael Saylor was making a big splash. It was a huge deal what he did, not only Michael Saylor, but also Naeem Bukele. And they did make the rounds on some of the legacy corporate media, right? We had Max Keiser. Also, we all had them on either Tucker Carlson Tonight before it got, you know, de -aired and on Tucker Carlson Today. And it was very it was a kind of a big deal. It's like a historic moment. The move by Naeem Bukele, making Bitcoin legal tender of a country, right? You know, a non -state currency that's not controlled by anyone. The monetary policy set in stone. It's kind of like a historical moment, you would think. And then on the public company front, right, Michael Saylor saying, listen, Bitcoin is a viable alternative to fiat currencies. You would think that the most popular broadcaster in the world would have those guys on. I'm sure Michael Saylor, he did the podcasting circuit, right? Um, so I would I would believe that they would love to go on the Joe Rogan experience if they were offered. So it's actually something that I tweeted a couple it was definitely a couple months ago. I tweeted about I was like, this is so strange. Like, why hasn't Joe Rogan brought on these guys? And that tweet performed pretty well. So that tells me that it's on the mind of of the better said and he tweeted out this pretty long tweet and it covered why he believes Joe Rogan hasn't had Michael Saylor on his show or Naeem Bukele. It's just very interesting. And remember, like a lot of people are like, dude, I don't watch Joe Rogan. That's fine. You don't watch Joe Rogan. But Joe Rogan experience that podcast has 11 million average listens and views per episode. And right now, what I believe is happening in Bitcoin media and the Bitcoin space is we are in this Bitcoin echo chamber. Right. And we're when we're making content and we're making these videos, we're talking to other Bitcoiners. Right. But if we really want this thing to go mainstream. Right. We have to break that echo chamber in the way that you break that echo chamber is by going on mainstream broadcaster shows and content creators like the fact that Tim Pool has mentioned Bitcoin by name multiple times in reference to the banking system failing. That's a big effing deal. Right. So, you know, that is that's how you really move this. Like that's how it really gets out of the echo chamber. And that's where we are right now. So, yeah, we're going to talk about that today. It's going to be a good show. Also, we have a awesome Bitcoiner, you know, well -known Bitcoiner from the Bitcoin community. We have TC of Timechain Calendar today on the show. So welcome, brother. Happy, happy to have you join us. Yo, stoked to be here. Thanks for having me. Thanks, man. Thanks for joining us once again. And of course, my legendary co -host, he's smiling today. So he's definitely optimistic. How are you doing, Opti? I'm doing wonderful. I was actually kind of laughing at TC clearing his throat live on the show. Let's go. I was just drinking my coffee, man. Yeah, man, it's going to be a great show. I'm excited for today. It is Thursday after all. And we almost made it through another week, Nico. So we're just grinding it out. And, you know, I might be a little cynical on today's show in regard to the Joe Rogan news, but I'll save that until we get there, Nico. I'll save my takes until we get there. But yeah, man, let's get into the show. All right, guys, no more delay. Let's jump straight into the numbers. We got a lot to talk about today. Let's check it out. The Bitcoin numbers. Is your Bitcoin and cold storage really secure? They're also crush proof, waterproof, non corrosive and time proof. All things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul. Stamp your seed on stamp seed. All right, guys, for the numbers segment, we're going to do a little bit of a curveball in honor of our guests. We're going to use a different numbers dashboard. We're going to use the time chain calendar. So the block height is 802 ,530. The last block was found 10 minutes ago. The current Bitcoin hash rate is 300. You need to refresh the time chain calendar. Apparently I do. I just I just pulled it up. What are you talking about? Yes. Here comes the new version. There it is. Dropping the new version. Look at that. Holy cow. I like I want to put this on a watch or something. All right. One Apple Watch app. Anyways, block height. Eight hundred two thousand five hundred and thirty. Last block was fine. Found, find, found nine minutes ago. The where's the hash rates over the last seven days is three hundred and seventy two extra hashes. That also continues to go up. The current supply of Bitcoin is nineteen point four or five million. The current block subsidy, which is going to be cut in half roughly April of next year, is currently at six point two five. And yeah, I mean, well, TC, why don't you honor us with some some other stats on here that you find interesting? Yeah, I mean, looking at the chain right now, I am looking at a lot the the new metric that's on this this app, which is the ring of the last twenty four hours of blocks. And you see that little metric right above the block height. We're at one thirty one blocks in the last twenty four hours. And this oscillates a lot. It goes up, it goes down. I really am sort of staring at that thing constantly. We did just have a difficulty adjustment yesterday and we had another small in increase in difficulty. It's just kind of astounding, despite the fact that the difficulty keeps cranking up. Somebody keeps pouring on more hashrate and the miners are producing blocks keeping pace and exceeding the difficulty. So I just watch for for basically what that looks like throughout the course of the difficulty period, which is that red ring, that indicator takes roughly two weeks to get all the way around 2016 blocks. So that's kind of what I'm staring at constantly is are the blocks getting produced fast? Are they slow? And, you know, that's that's also leads you to to look at the fees just below the block height there. And recently we've had a little bump back up. We got down to single digits and we were in single digits for a while. But, you know, there is a lot of demand for block space. So you better you better bid accordingly if you need an urgent transaction through. That's what I got to say. Amen. Amen. All right, guys, before we get to what we're going to talk about today, I want to give a shout out to our sponsor. Guys, don't put yourself in that position where you have to explain to your grandchildren that you lost your generational wealth because you put your backup while your Bitcoin wallet backup seed words on paper, put them on titanium, scan the QR code on your screen right now. It will take you to the titanium seed phrase storage kit. You could use promo code simply to get 15 percent off anything on their store. Anyways, everybody, let's talk about what we're going to talk about today. But first, I want to kind of bring this attention. Right. So shout out to our friends over at Bitcoin Mag. They posted a clip from the infamous or infamous, no famous. I would say it's definitely not. It's not it's not infamous. People love the Joe Rogan podcast.

A highlight from BREAKING: Federal Reserve to oversight Bitcoin | EP 799
"Welcome to another episode of Simply Bitcoin Live, we're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution, color breaking news, cultural medic warfare, we will be your guide through the separation of money and state, and make no mistake, that's exactly what we are living through these days. It's one of those episodes that we're gonna cover just that, breaking news federal reserve to expand oversight of crypto related activities and banks. So the people that have the most to lose if Bitcoin succeeds are, you know, apparently expanding their oversight, no congressional approval of course, which I find absolutely fascinating. And of course, this is happening a couple weeks after the federal reserve launched the American version of the central bank digital currency, which is called the Fed now, and of course they're saying that that's not what it is, but we all know that's what it is. Based on the administration's language, the US treasury wrote a paper at the end of last year called the future of money and payments. And in that paper, in the eyes of the current US government, current administration, future of money and payments, stable coins, payment platforms, Bitcoin is not mentioned there, right? But you know what is mentioned there? Central bank digital currencies, right? So it's just, of course, you know, they don't have the popular support, but there's stuff happening in the background. And we had Caitlin long on, on simply Bitcoin IRL the other day, and she said it herself. She said the reason that her bank was denied the federal banking charter, which would make her competitive with the rest of the US banking industry was an order direct from the white house, right? So it's not my words. That's Caitlin long's words herself. So very interesting how this is playing out. And we have a very special guest today and who someone I consider a brother as well. We have the one and only the Svetsky. How you doing, man? How's life? All right, it seems like Svetsky has a little bit of some technical difficulties, I'll bring up Opti in the meantime, Svetsky seems like your mic is muted. How you doing Opti? Oh, I'm doing wonderful, dude. And this intro gets me hyped. The intro is so lit. Shout out to Dav. That's clutch. It's clutch. But yeah, man, exciting, exciting stuff to see. And hopefully we get Svetsky in here so that we can we can talk with him. We were literally just talking with him right, right backstage. So, you know, troubleshooting live. But hey, we do this live as Sessions always says. And it's just it's good to be here, man. I'm excited to see Nico Jones break this all down and then we will rant about it. So this is going to be a good one. It's going to be a good one. It's going to be a good episode. All right, guys, no more delay. Let's jump straight into the numbers. We got a lot to talk about today.

A highlight from Long Term Bitcoin Holders Hits All-Time High | EP 798
"We're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution with heartbreaking news called Traumatic Warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Crazy, crazy news. I mean, it's not surprising at all, but the long -term Bitcoin hodlers hold an all -time high of Bitcoin. That means that the amount of Bitcoin on exchanges continues to go down. The amount of Bitcoin hodlers continues to go up. I think this is Bitcoin's incentives. I think they're winning. And I think people are realizing that if you sell your Bitcoin, what are you selling it to? You're selling it for monopoly money, basically. So this is overall bullish news. We're going to break down also the numbers. We're going to dive deep into that today. Also seems like the Tether lawsuit was dismissed. We were going to talk about that yesterday, but we ran out of time. So we're going to cover that article. And on top of that, we have a very special guest. We have Mags. And Mags, thank you so much for joining us today. How are you doing? Hey, I'm awesome. How are you? Well, it was good. It was good seeing you at Mining Disrupt in Miami not too long ago. Mags is a is it's I know that Bitcoiners hate the word expert, but I would consider you a mining expert. Thanks. But no, I see that's the problem once you go down the rabbit hole and you're like, I know nothing. She's highly knowledgeable about mining. All right. I'll say it like that. And of course, my legendary co -host, he's drinking coffee. That means he's feeling optimistic today. The one, the only the legend, legendary optimist fields. How are you doing, bro? I am doing wonderful and I am so geeked up on coffee this morning. I probably have the jitters, but hey, you know, this is part of the fun. What's up, everyone? Good to be back. It's Tuesday. Still got a long week ahead of us, but the news don't stop. The grind don't stop. I'm excited for this one. I'm ready to hear Mags talk about Bitcoin mining in the culture. I think you guys are going to like this one. But anyways, are we going to get a classic Nikko Jones rant today or is this going to be a mellow? I don't know, man. It's just bullish news is not it's not like, oh, OK, so hope you have Nikko Jones to help you. Don't sell your Bitcoin to BlackRock. Yeah, that's the best news. That's the best news of the next of this having the next four years. If you sell your Bitcoin, statistically speaking, you're probably selling it to Larry Fink. Don't be that poor sailor or sailor or sailor, either one of them, either either them. OK. All right, everybody. No more delay. Let's jump straight to the news. Or the U .S. government. Oh, my God. All right. That took a dark turn. All right, everybody. Let's go. Let's start the numbers. Let's do it. The Bitcoin numbers. Is your Bitcoin in cold storage really secure? They're also crush proof, waterproof, non -corrosive and time proof. All things that paper is not allowing you to huddle your Bitcoin with peace of mind for the long haul. Stamp your seed on stamp seed. Alright guys, don't put yourself in this situation where you have to explain to your grandchildren why you lost your generational wealth because you decided to store your Bitcoin wallet. Back up seed words on paper, store it on titanium, scan the QR code on your screen right now and use the promo code simply and you get a nice discount. Anyways, at the time of recording the Bitcoin price is $29 ,565. Sat per dollar, $3 ,882. Block height, $801 ,952. Blocks to halving, $38 ,048. Halving estimate April 20th, 2024. Total lightning network capacity, $4 ,692 Bitcoin capacity value, $138 million US dollars. Realized monetary inflation rate, 1 .76%. Continuing to embarrass fiat currencies, the market capitalization is $574 billion with a B. Bitcoin versus gold market cap, 4 .41%. In the grand scheme of things, Bitcoin is still a tiny baby. Anyways, here is Cathie Wood and she's talking about the infamous Bitcoin spot ETF and she has an interesting take. She says if the SEC approves a spot Bitcoin ETF, it will approve more than one at once. Anyways, she is also known for coming up with the infamous 2030 prediction where she says the bear case is $258K, the base case is $648K, and then the bull case is like some crazy number. It's like $1 .48 million per Bitcoin. And she's also, obviously, she's accumulated a lot of Bitcoin, so she's a huge advocate for it. But anyways, let's hear what she has to say. And of course, this is on Legacy Media Bloomberg. So let's check it out and then we'll talk about it. So you are in this race. Let's talk about the race a little bit. The first important deadline coming up is August 13th where the ARK filing, the SEC is either going to delay it, which we think they'll probably delay it, and then BlackRock is later. You filed before BlackRock, but BlackRock came in with the surveillance sharing agreement with Coinbase. That was novel, right? Now we're looking in the future, there's talk of a common clock where the SEC could approve a bunch of ETFs at once, putting you on a level playing field with BlackRock and others. What's your take on how this will play out given you filed earlier? I think you're probably right that August 13th will come and go, and I think the SEC, if it's going to approve a Bitcoin ETF, will approve more than one at once. So then, again, because most of these essentially will be the same, and it will come down to marketing, communicating the message. We've been putting out our Bitcoin Monthly for the last year. We are now starting a Bitcoin brainstorming session, our first one we launched last Thursday. So we're trying to get the word out there that our research is deep, and we've been We were the first public asset manager to gain exposure to Bitcoin at all in 2015. That's exactly where I want to go. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, known by its ticker, GBTC. If you look at ARKW, for example, your ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, right now I see GBTC as the third largest holding. If we are in a situation where the SEC does give its blessing for a spot Bitcoin ETF, would you plan to sell out of GBTC and buy one of these physically backed funds? I cannot talk about what we would and would not do. And in fact, our compliance team is giving us marching orders not to talk very much about this filing and its aftermath at all. So just the fact that we filed with our partner 21 shares is as far as I can go. All right. So interesting how this is playing out. And again, like what I find very interesting is that even though she filed before, it's like it's almost as if BlackRock gets very special treatment than the rest. So I think that's interesting. Not surprised at all. But Mags, I want to get your take, because I haven't heard it before. It's what's your take on the BlackRock spot ETF? What do you think it's going to do for Bitcoin? I've had I've heard two different takes on this. Caitlin Long is coming from they're going to rehypothecate the F out of it. That's what Lawrence apart thinks as well. And then FOSS and lavish come from this is really good for the price action. It's going to price the pump and they're not really going to be able to rehypothecate it because of you know, it's a spot ETF and the regulations and all that stuff. So what's your take on this? What angle are you coming from? What angle are you coming from at it? I'm coming more from the FOSS lavish side where so we don't yet have a full regulatory structure in the U .S. around custody, right? So I think that like that's the caveat, depending on how they set it up. It's still possible that maybe there is some rehypothecation possible. But I think generally, as best practices, companies that just have been holding what will be more interesting to me is whether BlackRock decides to then set up some sort of yield product, not like the bad kind of yield with $10 ,000, sorry, 10 ,000 percent. I mean something like setting up lightning nodes so you can earn a yield, right? So that to me would be interesting if they set something up like that, where it's technically not rehypothecating because you're still holding the keys, but you're still making it work for you. I'm sure they're hiring talent everywhere. I do think it will have a massive impact on price action because this is the girl in the room on Wall Street. BlackRock is the largest asset manager in the world. So once they have the Bitcoin fund, I do think there will be some allocation from their massive portfolio. It might not be everybody's, but it may be their wealthiest clients or even just one percent allocation will do numbers. So I think for that people, you know, it is exciting. But again, the challenge there is because BlackRock will probably attract the most capital, like I think it would be the largest Bitcoin ETF there is. You are again consolidating it in one spot. So we're seeing that. And I know Bitcoiners, you know, we've seen this happen. You have hodlers like Michael Saylor. It's just it's just a shame sometimes to see it happen. And lastly, you know, I've been I've been through something similar in Canada. So I helped launch the first Bitcoin fund in Canada. We took the Ontario Securities Commission to court. It was a three year legal battle and we ended up with a 26 page ruling from the judge that said, yes, it is in the public interest for the public to hold Bitcoin, which then paved the way for all the ETFs in Canada. So I'm really excited to see the legal case with respect to GBCC that's going through the court, because I think either we will get BlackRock first or GBCC if for some reason giving stuff in Bitcoin down. But that said, BlackRock is powerful. They donate a lot of money. Things have changed. Like look at mainstream media now. Like, oh, Bitcoin is a BSG. We're in a different part of the cycle, I think. It's so crazy watching the anchors protect Bitcoin using like a lot of the terminology that Bitcoiners are using. It's like, wait, did I just hear that? It's like, no, Bitcoin is actually a good thing. And then, you know, it's perplexing. You didn't get that at all? Right. BlackRock is a part of this. Bitcoin is actually a good thing. Bitcoin is actually helping the oceans. Anyways, Opti, what's your take on this? Well, yeah, you know, as the in -house Bitcoin pleb, you know, the average Bitcoiner here, I don't like ETFs personally, I advise not to buy paper Bitcoin. But as far as I'm concerned, it's paper Bitcoin. But we all know that this will be good for price action. I do understand and I think anyone that is not naive understands how much capital inflows will come from these ETFs from traditional financial people. And, you know, in that regard, we're super bullish because, hey, as we've been talking about, you know, BlackRock's got trillions of dollars of even a small portion of that money gets into Bitcoin and we start to orange pill those people and they start to understand what they're holding. It's going to be extremely bullish moving forward, obviously. And on the Cathie Woods news, you know, we love competition. So, hey, you know, it's going to be great to see multiple spot ETFs approved at one time because then people can actually have options and choices and they're not being forced to get centralized into one ETF. Obviously, as Mag says, most people are probably going to just trust the BlackRock name because they are the biggest asset manager in the world. So we know that most money will probably go into BlackRock. But as something we've been talking about, BlackRock has become like the canary in the coal mine now, and it's signaled to every asset manager in the world that Bitcoin is safe. You know, they've endorsed Bitcoin. So Bitcoin is ESG friendly now and every corporate press site out there is starting to embrace Bitcoin and talk good about Bitcoin. So you love to see it. And it really makes you start to understand that this is opening up all asset managers around the world to not have the damage to their reputation by embracing Bitcoin. And obviously that's good for every single person out there that is holding Bitcoin and is yet to hold Bitcoin because now everyone knows what we know. Bitcoin is safe. You want to hold Bitcoin. You need some Bitcoin in your portfolio. And Bitcoin is for enemies. Bitcoin is for anyone. So as much as us Bitcoiners may not like the ETF products, like who are we to stop people from using Bitcoin, how they see fit. And it really reminds me, we've been talking about this for a while. It really reminds me of one of the early Hal Finney posts on Bitcoin talk forum where he's saying, you know, there will be Bitcoin banks that are fractional reserve and there will be full reserve Bitcoin banks. So I think we are in the beginning of that process and we're going to start to see who's going to take the risk of rehypothecating their Bitcoin. And I forget who was saying it, but it was in one of the IRLs, Nico. I'm blanking on who it was exactly. But we were kind of a TLDR -ing them in the chat. It's like, what if the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF is the very thing that brings down BlackRock by them rehypothecating Bitcoin? Like this would be bullish AF. It was Peter Dunworth. It was Peter Dunworth. It was Peter Dunworth. Like that would be an amazing turn of events. It's like, of course, they are incentivized to try to continue to do traditional financial techniques, maneuvering and watch them like just get bit by the greed bug, even though like Bitcoin goes up, what, like 100 percent every year on average. And they rehypothecate their Bitcoin and then they just get margin called and the whole company comes out like, how glorious would that be? I want to get Mag's perspective on this. Yeah, I'm just wondering, why would you risk it if you're that big, you're earning a lot of fees, just just take your fees, just like FTX, just take your fees and live off them, you know? Yeah, but but but that hasn't stopped Wall Street in the past, has it? No. OK, all right, we might see, you know, what's interesting also is that every cycle, the exchange, the exchange, there's always an exchange blow up and the exchange blow up is bigger than the last. So I'm a Quadriga bankruptcy inspector. We just distributed, by the way, last month we beat Mt. Gox. So could you talk about what happened? Like, is he is he really dead? You know, OK, so before I joined and and just went the bankruptcy process first happened, I thought it was just so weird the way he died. Right. So he died. He took him in the hospital. They took his body back to the hotel, then brought it back to the hospital. The hospital was like, no, the same standard procedure. So they had to take it to university that had some shady pass. And I'm like, this just seems weird. But looking so the Ontario Securities Commission did a really big report on where the money went and he lost a lot of it trading, like made bad trades. He was doing what FTX was doing. And just he lost about one hundred and forty million, which was like off the top, maybe sixty five percent. And then like a bunch of it was hard assets that had cash and houses that he bought with our funds. And so I was like, well, there's not that much money left. So if there was like this huge chunk out there, I'd be much more likely to think that he's alive. But like I went from eighty five percent to like ninety eight percent sure that he's dead. Gotcha. So wait, Niko, what what Magda is saying is there's hope that Bitcoin brings down BlackRock. There's hope.

Sound Opinions
"nico" Discussed on Sound Opinions
"Love. Lester begs had written that incredible piece where about the marble index, right? And it took me a long time listening to the marble index to begin to hear what he heard. Not an easy listen. No, anyone goes solo albums. The marble index is a very obtuse lesson. And I love that, you know, back in the day Electra records would bankroll a record like that. I just love that. And it's so great. And her debut for electro was that. And you know, it's still a dance dance record that still fascinates me to this day. It's still, I can't, it's just fascinating to me. Well, that's the thing. You can listen to her for half a century and still discover new things. Yeah. It's absolutely true. Same with desert shore, of course, as well. You know? You started this record by covering songs that she had recorded. What was the beginning point for you? What was the song that you first dove in and said, okay, maybe this could be something bigger. Well, the first song I did isn't actually on the album. It's on a previous album, and I covered a song called you forget to answer from the end. I had covered that song for Bill rieflin as a gift. While he was dying. And I sent it to him and he got it before he died, and he was really excited about it. You know, at that point, I didn't have a sort of compass. I was just like, I want to cover Nico songs. What am I going to do? And funnily enough, the first thing I did was a song, which is the last song on the album called hanging gardens. And the reason for that was it was a song that Bill rieflin had wanted us to cover together at some point, you know. Bill was also a huge Nikko fan. And we never got around to doing it. So I decided to try it. And it's funny because it's possibly the most, it's one of the more difficult ones on the saw on the album to do. So I started off with a challenge and it took a little while, but I got it. And it's also funnily enough, one of the last songs that she ever did. In fact, I don't even think there's a studio recording of it. It comes from a live album, which was her last live concert recorded at the Berlin planetarium. And it was a live semi improvised thing. So I just went for it with that and it worked out well. And obviously you're not going to sound like Nico when you sing these songs, but it seems like you stretch yourself as a vocalist as well. And I've already read some people mentioning that this is some of the greatest vocal performances you've ever given. You know, that you've really kind of taken it to a new level. So how did you, as a singer approached this material? Well, you know, I said at the beginning of the interview that I was really interested in writing songs that had a narrative to them that already existed and also had characters that already existed. It seems easier for me to sort of be able to remove myself from myself. Embodiment of that emboldens me and I can express myself without any kind of inhibition. So I've been pushing my voice. I also record by myself. So I have plenty of time and plenty of alone time to work on it and try and get the best performance. Not necessarily in recording a bit and then going in and chopping it up. I like to sing my vocals live, so I will practice and practice and try and get there. There are other thing about it is I had to kind of think hard about these Nico songs because I'm not Nico and I had to find my way of articulating it and some of these notes were harder to do. Some of these notes were harder to hold. She could hold a note for a long time. And become that drone again. So I just worked at it and exercised my voice organically until I had the performance. I understand what you're saying about almost as if you're an actor approaching your role.

"Voice, the lyrics, everything about it, was produced by John Cale. Parallelized my insincere. The empty cradle. Ring home to that man to me. And then shortly after that she came to Edinburgh Nico did and played a concert. I went to the concert and snuck in, I was 14 at the time, and always a precocious. I know. I snuck in. First of all, she didn't look like the cover of Chelsea girl at all. She looked quite different but she was still incredibly beautiful and dead pan and she sat down with her harmonium and played janitor of lunacy and songs like that. And then she was joined on stage by a band called the Cuban heels who were her backing band and she played some Velvet Underground songs, et cetera and after the show I went and stuck backstage and got her to sign my leather jacket and she smiled at me and touched my cheek and I've never washed it since. Oh man I always go back to that piece of text that the pioneering critic, Richard Goldstein wrote on the cover of the first Velvet Underground inside cover. You know, that Nico sings like a cello waking up in the morning in perfect ovals. That voice is captivating. It is absolutely captivating and also just sonically that music seems so timeless to me. It seems almost medieval. In a sense, the drones are like a her de girty. Her main instrument is the harmonium, which I was going to ask about this. How did you duplicate that? A lot of harmonium on the record as there has to be. Did you get one or is this patch? This is it. All right. And tell people what it is. So primitive, weird thing. It is a strange instrument and it's very popular in the Indian culture. But it was first developed. I'll describe it to you mine is a portable wooden box. It's about the size of a, you know, I don't know. It looks kind of like a puppy's coffin, not to be morbid. But and it has bellows at the back. So you squeeze the air through and it goes through reads and you play it like an organ. This one I have, you have to play with one hand because your other hand is squeezing. So for an Indian culture, it's great for meditation. However, I believe that the harmonium was developed for as a sort of portable chart organ so that people could have church in their living room and they didn't need an organ. That's what I think it was developed for. So maybe colonialists dragged over to India to whatever. Indoctrinate people of world influence. I know. So when I started doing the album, yes, indeed, I had a synth patch that was an accordion synth patch which sounded pretty good to me. And then I was like, you know, no, I've got to get on eBay and buy a harmonium, and I did. And it is the best thing I've ever bought. I love it so much. I mean, just it actually helped me very much get in touch with her in a sense because I understood the rhythm of her voice and the rhythm of the air going through the instrument working in tandem. And so it was a real pleasure for me to learn this instrument. And when I saw Nico. Wow. Not much older than you were. Black shrouded figure on stage. All black, all black, little pale skin in the face. Hunched over the harmonium. She was pumping the bellows with her foot. Yeah, that's the fancy model. Yeah, you need one of those. I really do. You know, it's so funny to read if there's a book out by Jennifer otter bicker dick about Nico and we've since become friends. But it talks about how her harmonium was like she'd use it as a cigarette ashtray and it was just ruined, you know, which I think John kale described it as a dragon with hella tosis. Which could also be a description of Niko. But yeah, it's a beautiful instrument and it was really fun to work with record and everything. The drone of that harmonium and her voice had a sort of a drone and droning quality to it. Yeah. Really dovetailed really well with where kale was coming from from the avant garde classical world. Yes. And the velvet had that kind of central to their sound. It sounded very ancient in some ways and very modern in others. So she sort of embodied that. So that feel, I think that's always been innate in your music as well. Did you feel like that had to be an essential part of this record, sonically? I did, but I also think that you're right. I mean, because I was listening to Nico before I ever made records. At the sort of rate that it becomes a part of your DNA almost. And like I was saying by getting the harmonium and singing with it, you find where your voice starts to draw in and how your voice can really take off. If you listen to the album, there's subtleties. I actually find out recording it with a contact mic that it was picking up my voice at the same time, so I started using that. The voice and the instrument for Nico kinda became the same thing. I think she got lost in it. And I only realized that when I was doing the same thing as she was doing, but then your point is good when you think about John kills, work with la Monte young and some of these early sun blindness music, these early 60s recordings kale made with Oregon and viola. It's drone. He was fascinated with drone, and she kind of brought drone to the table for herself because it was not kale that introduced her to the harmonium. It was actually Jim Morrison. Who told her to buy a harmonium. And so kale and her were just like a match made in heaven. If you're like, in terms of his being able to relate to what she was doing and build around that. His work on that first real solo Nico album, I guess the marble index. His work on that really is so completely intuitively sympathetic to her sound. You know, she cried when she heard the playback. She was so humble, happy that somebody finally got what she was talking about and kale was that person her whole life.

"Was as much. That's a little bit of the newest project from Chris Connolly and name you might recognize from the wax trax days and his work in groups like ministry, revco, murder incorporated to name just a few. Based on just that part of his resume, you might be surprised to learn that Chris is a huge fan of Nico. The German singer best known for her co belling with The Velvet Underground in their first record. That's absolutely true, Greg, but if you listen to his solo albums, you can definitely hear the influence Nico had on Chris Connelly. And on his latest project, super ambitious, Nico is his subject, not just an influence. Eulogy to Krista, attribute to the music and mystique of Nico. As I said, an epic project combines covers of Nico songs as well as original tunes the Connelly wrote about her life. She was born, Christa fagan. You know, we were both blown away by this project. And when we spoke with Connolly, you were not shy about your admiration, Jim. You know, Chris, I'll start by kissing your butt right up top. I think this is an album that deserves to be bookended with songs for drella. The incredible breed John Cale tribute to Andy Warhol. Long overdue for tribute, Nico, for sure. Thank you. Yeah, songs for drella was quite a big influence in me doing this. I have in recent years become more interested in writing songs about people or about situations than writing songs that come out of my own head if you understand what I'm saying. I like to have a story and a plot. And songs for drella was such a touching tribute to Warhol. And I'd been so enamored of Niko for so long. I had recorded a song of hers on a record and decided to keep going with it. And then it became obvious to me, I've always loved her. I know most of her story, I've read all the books. Why not write some songs about her life? It's a fascinating story. Yeah, I love the way you intertwine songs by Nico. With songs that tell her tale. I was thinking the whole time, wow, this could be a theater piece. You know, here's hoping. It does not happen. Tell us about the fascination with Nico, obviously she was co build with the velvet underground on the cover of their first album. And there have been misperceptions about her ever since. You know, Warhol foisted her on the velvets and Lou Reed has since debunked that story. But how did you become interested in her career? I think in 1980, I actually visited Chris Carter in cozy fanny tutti from the band throbbing gristle who were still abandoned at the time, and I was talking to them about The Velvet Underground and cozy said, well, have you ever heard Nico's solo records? And I was in their living room and she put on desert shore. And I couldn't, I mean, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Oh, if you've never listened to that album out there, listen to it. It's so still so radical sounding to me. Their instrumentation, her

Obviously, back in the day, what I'm going on 28 now I would have been probably year two year three year four. There wasn't a lot of knowledge and education around nutrition and around fitness and that sort of thing back in the day..

What does this moment feel like do you. I mean it's a dream come true to say the least. Yeah we're to talk to me about kind of your boxing journey here. I mean you grew up in chicago originally and how how did boxing kind of crystallized for you. Well you know. I've been around boxing my whole life just through my grandfather but i really started my first time. Stepping in the ring was for a cancer foundation it was the charity event and it was an exhibition. So it had no wins or losses and before that point i hadn't trained in the gym or anything and i just went in. I had fun. I was doing it for a good cause and I just. I feel like that's when i started slowly loving boxing. So have you. Was there any pressure on you. Growing up to get into the sport. No i you know. I didn't feel any pressure at all. growing up getting into the sport but i did always feel the pressure of being. You know the grandson of you know muhammad ali. I've always felt that pressure outside a sports in school. everywhere was i thought that pressure. It's almost like i mean. I remember watching what the rocky belbow movie rocky son saying like. You know what. I saw that i saw that movie and i was dying laughing because it sounded so similar to meaning the movie. Cre- yeah. I mean so people always asking you like you're gonna get into boxing or are you going to do it. I don't remember anybody asking me. But i was always getting compared to him no matter what so. You know if i if. I didn't pick boxing if i picked up a tennis racket and i was a tennis player or a golfer or even if i was something not sports related i would still be getting compared to my grandfather. Because that's the way it's been my whole life. Mamadali passed away in two thousand sixteen. What was your relationship like with him. You're young guy. Twenty one years old. What was what are your memories of that relationship. We were very close. We were very very close He lived in scottsdale arizona. And we live in las vegas so we were constantly making the drive Two quick drive down to arizona to see him. Whether it'd be for thanksgiving or you know just to go out and watch movies with them but Yeah no we were very close I when i was born all my other grandfathers were had passed away. Unfortunately already so. He was the only living grandfather that i had which made us even more close. What was communication like within because as many people know historian how parkinson's affected him late in his life it affected his speech. Yeah i mean you know some days. A lot of people don't know about parkinson's disease but you know some days are better than others and it really is a flip of a coin. One day you can get them talking and he could be vibrant and and you know talking would seems to be like the way he used to and then others other days most days He doesn't talk as much but that never took away from you know. His sense of humor is wit and his smile. It never took away from that. And that's how we communicated we communicated a you know through his actions to tell me about how how that sense of humor was around you most people that know. Muhammad ali know all about the trash-talk and the brashness and all that that came with it. How was he with you. Yeah i mean he. He says he says some stuff that You know people aren't supposed to say he gets away with saying you know basically whatever he wants but it's it's because everyone knows he's coming from a place of kindness and he's always joking so his sense of humor is was was great. I mean you could see it in you know. The videos interviews. He had that same sense of humor. Which i hadn't gotten to see because i wasn't alive during his Prime but he had that same sense of humor of in his in his older years. Gebre watch old fights with him. Yeah we would constantly watch All we would do is watch his fight highlights and then my sparring tapes but we watched on the rumble in the jungle. A million times over. I would just pull up a chair next to him and we would watch it on my phone but yet no i've seen i've seen probably all of his fights with him so it's like you know we. We spent so much time together in you know. He was interested in watching those fights. It really put a spark in his eyes so we always did that. Man people will pay a lot of money back then to do that to do exactly what you were doing every single every single time. I'll watch what was it like watching the rumble in the jungle which is of course his iconic fight against george foreman and what was that. What was that like to watch it with him. What kind of reactions were you getting from him. As you're watching that he would like start. Reliving it you know. He'd be there with his mouth open. Kind of of flinching fainting and and you know punching like any boxer knows that like sometimes when they sleep they'll start shadowboxing. They'll start moving while they're sleeping and that's that's what he would do. When he was watching it he would start getting back in the zone and But i i wouldn't. I wouldn't ask them questions about boxing. I would really ask him questions about like. Hey what did they say in your corner or you know. What did you say to this guy. After the fight. I would ask him questions. That weren't fighting related. yeah. I'm always curious about the relationship. He had with angelo dundee longtime trainer. I mean what. What did you learn about that. Why no he loved him and angelo dundee was has been a fan of earth. He's been a friend of the family for you know so many years. Unfortunately i never met him But yeah up until his last year you know. He was still extremely kind to my family. Do you ever see that. The pizza hut commercial with angelo and mohammed. You've seen that. I'm sure right. That super bowl commercial reminded of it. I need to be super bowl commercial. Yeah it's like angelo. He's training a young fighter and the kids giving them mouth that he takes him to pizza. Introduce you to somebody. And they're sitting at the table right there as a great commercial. I watched it on youtube all the time. I didn't know that was pizza. Hut pizza see exactly all things. It was pizza pizza hut for paying the money. You need to get those two guys on camera to do that did you. Get the sense from from all the fights you watch with him. Was that rumble in the jungle. I was gonna use everything you never knows. Oh, my gosh. Popular letter. Hey, has anybody seen Trump lately? That's like my transition. Yes, that is my transition. Um, I wanted to ask you about the impeachment. I have to be honest, I have not kept up with any news. I mean, I have been like your stress uninformed but not missing formed this yet? Not yet. Once I start watching the news, I will be missing the one who said that? Who said that? If you watch the news If you if you don't watch the news, you're uninformed. If you watch the news you're missing. I love that I had to write that down. So what is what is the late? They're going to go ahead with the impeachment. They don't know if they're gonna have witnesses. This part of have kept up. I mean, that guy shouldn't they kept up with? I looked over. I read some stuff and I watch something. Obviously, Republican senators and people are encouraging. Be careful Jazz for because then it's gonna be an all out war, and there's a lot of people that have just of really justifiable argument that this is not even constitutional. Is that the president? President? I mean, you can't someone that's not in position. I mean, I'm gonna fire you. I don't work for you anymore. You can't fire me. So somebody quit. You can't fire them. They don't work for you anymore. So there's a very valid argument and you have to ask you. This is a lot of political banter. And I think it's very obvious to anybody watching regardless of what side of the political spectrum Eon and it's like, what are you doing? And what are you doing this forward? How is this okay for the American people? And how does this Hi into President Biden's message one time message on unity, and so this is the world. People are asking legitimate questions. I don't care who you are. It's a legitimate question to ask, and I believe also from what I've what I've looked at, and I haven't a dissected like others legal scholars. That it isn't it is unconstitutional and is definitely unnecessary. I was just going to say that would recommend that people watch an important interview that happened this week between Joan's John Heinz and Senator Mike Lee, who is a constitutional scholar, and he waited on this very issue need getting okay? He did, and I thought, man, he did a really, really great job looking at the competing opinions among scholars, but I think his own opinion was with what he turned was the majority of scholarship. Churches has said that it is unconstitutional and he points to John Roberts really sort of refusing to preside over these proceedings, even though the Constitution says the teacher chief justice is to preside over these proceedings. And he indicates that what he's achieved. That's why the chief justice's That's a message in itself is not insignificant that John Roberts you know who I don't I don't think is really a paragon of conservatism these days, But in this regard I think he is. We can learn something from him that he is choosing not to preside over these proceedings because it is, in fact. Unconstitutional. The Constitution does clearly state that you are impeaching a president and it is an incumbent, and this president is no longer He's the former president of the United States. And so what is that issue here? So the chief justice has declined to preside over these proceedings and by extension, suggesting that this is unconstitutional. S so what's at issue? What are we trying to achieve here? And there's no question that if, in fact they succeeded in teaching him and all indications are that this is a ruse and it cannot happen. The numbers simply aren't there. That, In fact, it'll keep trump from running again. And that's really what I think is at issue in all of the polling shows that Trump has significant political power right now. And and these guys, they're scared to death of him running again. That's why does it. But doesn't that go back to what we were talking about? In the first segment about an expression of a new opinion, not following along, not doing what the current White House wants everybody to do, And so they're going to try to get rid of the person that's taking? I don't know, if 1000 our first discussion so much. This is just a political navigating. I mean, if they don't want if the Democrats are worried about President Trump running again. Well, then, if they have a means to stop him from running again, and there is a quote unquote impeachment, And then there's gonna be a whole fiasco on that of whether it was legitimate impeachment. Whether those constitutional and then whatever. Excuse me, Where does that go? S so I don't know if that's too much of stifling someone's free speech versus them just doing political maneuvering. I do and I think that's all it is. And so for anyone on the pro impeachment side Advocate anything other than it's politically driven. At least just say which this is political. Okay, well, I disagree with you. But there's you're free. Now you have a right to say it. You can pursue its unconstitutional and should be pushed down. But I wonder if Karen has a point in the sense that if you you've got government officials who are going to decide who citizens convert for next time around. That that is, But I think an assault on basic rights that they don't have a right to do. These people are in office to preserve basic fundamental rights in here, they're going to come together on a deeply unpopular decision..

Trying tol about our conduct in depth interviews with people that may have different thoughts from what they want us to think and how dangerous that is, Don't you, George? We're talking about that The whole conversation are the narrative of domestic terrorism and how that's taken over. I mean, it's true thing about the news cycle. What's the most important threat that it isn't the Americans facing? It is these fools whoever they were this storm the Capitol. Obviously, I don't I've never heard anybody on either side and say that that was okay. No one said that. No, no. What I said that I mean to gather outside the capital that that's no different as the Constitution the first Amendment to peacefully protest into assemble peacefully. I just don't remember this type of attention for antifa again. And when you bring that up, people always think you're trying to justify what happened at the Capitol. Let me be very clear all those idiots that they broke the law. Should be prosecuted. I should even call the media because they deserve due process. Sorry, but what I'm saying is, But there's there's There's many, many more. I want to hear the same passion against the Aunt Eva people that destroyed cities for months. Forget about however many hours this happened. I'm talking for months. I just went logical, consistent behavior and and fairness. This is truly due process and fundamental. Fair play. Yeah. You know, I'm really worried about these squishy definitions that could basically fit anyone at you know, for any reason. I'm thinking about the 2001 U. S a Patriot Act actually talks about the definition of domestic terrorism from I'm not Incorrect on that. And and it actually tie specific critical acts Nico to those individuals, the fact is, when you When you press these individuals with throwing around this term of domestic terrorism, there's no clarity. There's no criminal act. And there's no definition term. And so what worries me given where we're going here, Especially with this wave of censorship is that it could just well, can I be a domestic terrorist? Because I say something that is not congruent with the narrative, the state at a particular moment. Because the show be considered to Mexico. Terrorists call into question political leaders from both sides of the you know, because we could be critically think, but but George the thing that's most of more alarming and I think people should be aware of Is the lock stop in stock and barrel of all the mainstream media with the same narrative. You want to talk about a campaign because you think about political campaigns. You think about the same. You know your elevator speech, and everybody's saying the same thing and your three points and everybody should be saying the same thing. And there's a stretch of that. Well, you can see I can see the strategy and a lot of people can off of the mainstream media, the same talking points and then you've seen the videos out there where it's the same talking points as if someone's getting a memo on it wasn't me. Yeah, I gave him a script to read across the board. It's true. I've seen it myself, but isn't expression of opinion one way or another. I mean, isn't that America or was America and that's That's what's what's worrying me. Here is that speech and dissent can be considered those quote unquote acts or activities. That may be construed as criminal acts. And when you start criminalizing speech, then anything is possible and on anyone eyes in danger of the state, and that's just I mean, that's just not only obviously anti Christian, but it's decidedly anti American. It gonna be easing our way into this and to make that the clarity Obviously we always hear about the same. Example. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater. I get that because of you. Someone might get injured. You can't tell someone to shoot someone. And then they actually do it. I mean, so not all speech is protected. I get it, but a lot of it is and even stupid speech and even dumb ideas. Room to be protected. I get it. Not also. We're not gonna paint with a broad brush We can I can give example after example, is Of the type of speech that is not protected, which is fine and I think most people will agree with but t you The point that we're making here today is disagreement is not hate speech. I mean, that's what it's turned. And before this happened, remember, remember the whole hate speech because you disagreed with somebody just because you expressed an opinion? Maybe, you know, let's just be fair, a Christian or even an Islamic person that spoke out against a certain lifestyle that would be hate speech, although the Christians the only one that's told that you're giving the hate speech, But anyone that disagrees is Obara phobia or whatever, and that's not It's not true. It's just expressing an opinion. Is it logically consistent? Does it violate the law of non contradiction? And then you share thoughts? And then you hash it out and let the good idea when in the crappy one go to the voice side, But Nico, this notion of hate speech and criminalizing hate speech is a relatively new construct. This was not part of the heart of the First Amendment. No. You in fact that the whole point, the First Amendment just elaborate on your earlier point is that it's there, particularly to protect hostile speech speech that you find deeply hateful. In fact, so I always thought it was incongruent to come after this notion of hate speech, when the very heart of the First Amendment is to protect the right of someone to say something hateful. Now you may not like it. You can. You could gather people on your side. Todos rhetoric, You know, in response that hate speech, that's all fine and good. But the idea that you criminalize it. So if you can't if you can't say something, hatefully Can you say? What does the first Amendment protects speech that everyone agrees with? Yeah, there's no you don't need protection from from agreement. You needed protection from disagreement. And people don't get that idea I get. I'm not encouraging that. I mean, look, I've had people say a lot of means stupid things to me. There's no doubt about that. I I get it. I mean, you don't have to like it, and I don't like it, but I'll protect someone to say it. I will. I mean, you should see some of the messages I get yes, that I've gotten well when when the Netflix thing came out of my brother's murder and to be a killer, you know, I am a killer. I mean, serious that came out on, Netflix said. They had my brother's murder and that episode to our position on vaccines to whatever if I showed you guys and I showed you, George some of the private messages over the years, not recently, but well, I guess. Fairly recently. Maybe, but over the years and I I respond every one of them. They don't get a free shot. I'm not being out there. I don't respond in kind The way they do like I respond boldly, But, you know, set the record straight, but they haven't there entitled to that stupidity. They're entitled to it, and I don't want to ever squelch that. I want them to say it, but I really want to change their mind at some point with the truth. But if we continue down this road of being criticized for our opinions Is it even possible for Get a private citizen to protect themselves from being squelched or being, you know, erased because you feel one way or another. The only way to protect yourself is to vote. People indeed agree with what you're creating and understand the Constitution. That's it because once laws change, then you have to campaign and strategize on how to get people in office to change him back. It's a battle that way you have to understand the landscape in the political landscape and how laws come into play and how that affects your life and what you do it. You disagree with them and the justice system in the judicial system and the laws in the courts and lawyers and all that plays into it. It is an embarrassment. The voting in San Antonio or Bear County. It is an embarrassment. I mean, what is it, like 11% of people voted in the last mayoral race? I mean, mayor races. They're off cycle races, so City Council and mayor races are always tougher because you know you have a gubernatorial cycle and you have a presidential cycle. We just had a presidential cycle. So you're going to see 13? This is really not. I guess that great 35% 35% of the registered voters Vote a minute. On average. I mean, remember,.

There was about where can I find them? Yeah, you're you're you're gonna fold under questioning. Karen, you gotta hold on. What did you What did you tell me? What I said? Nico, I got a ticket. You're like, Sorry. No, we're gonna take care of your not guilty. Don't admit that you didn't the world that's gonna weigh everything all is well with a monitor work with the Lorries that we work with. They make me better every day. As a lawyer. There's five of us in the office. All of us were Former prosecutors, four of us at a very high level, and we have three paralegals and Blessed to work with the people that I work with every day and I and I enjoy going to work. Enjoy meeting with clients and listening to their situations and giving them advice. And, of course, I give him life advice as well as legal advice and and we're very happy with the results we can present for our clients and believe that our clients are happy with it, too. So I love what I do, and I'm blessed to do it. I loved it When you think you brought Patrick in one time, he's our legal George E. I asked Patrick if he had ever gone up against Nico in court, and he said, Unfortunately, I did. It was a prosecutor. I was a defense attorney. And we were trying a high profile white collar case, and it was a three week trial and we prevailed were not guilty on. Oh, I know. I said, Did you win that trick and he goes, Nico prevailed. He's a super smart guy. He's double board certified Patrick Ballantine, his board certified in criminal law and appellate law. He's a really smart guy, and he's fun to be with you. He's one of those genius, smart guys very sarcastic and Funny and he's got a great sense of humor, and he's a good person overall. So I enjoy working with Patrick. He teaches me stuff every day. And it was a pleasure to meet him. And George speaking about George. I mean, haven builders. You are a sponsor to the show, and you gotta tell us a little bit about haven builders to Get your plug in there, Dude. Yes, I'm very happy to talk about Haven builders. So I mean, I tell people all the time. You know, I'm not that we're not the cheapest people around. One of the most expensive people around me were certainly the best and the bus and a little arrogant. You know, it's the truth. That's why they call it marketing right. It's prevailed. Arrogance. Now we really I think are very, very good at what we do. And you know I don't I don't hire superintendents. We turn away a lot of business that Tony go all the time way try to stick to the high end. Residential construction side of things really hanging out in spring branch these days. We're very, very busy up there, but beautiful, wonderful place to live. But I gotta tell you we've turned out a lot of business because I really want to make sure that we're a good fit for people and we have so much demand. We just can't keep up. That's personal when you're building a home and then you end up in a situation to call me because you smack someone around. You get arrested. Yeah, That's why George has me on retainer. If you want somebody there host to grab it's mine. I'm your man. So I think our project management all the skills that I used to learn and apply. Um, in pharma. I mean, I think they were very transferrable. How you gonna tell me that? Well, it's basic project management skills about trying over communicate. You know, I do, because people people actually want that. And in the home building business. You never assume that they don't want to know. On guy try toe. Just try to kind of do some thought experience to say, man. If I was in their shoes, I'd want to know. Right now. There are laws and construction stuff doesn't show up on should. I mean, I built me goes home, and he knows he's well acquainted with some of these some of these, you know? The wall fell down yesterday. But it is that's what they said. There's that great. Hey, said it was normal front now s 03 more. Whether there's a period of time of stuff doesn't show up. Labors don't show up. Anybody's done any kind of reading. Oh, yeah, So I I really try to be proactive. I try toe communicate very clearly about things and try to really professionally manage the project. So it doesn't you know, it's not. It doesn't feel like a root canal. And after this today, y'all are gonna be headed out to do a speak and Just destruction? No. Yeah, I didn't want to talk a little longer. But they Yeah. If somebody wants you all to come and speak to their group. I mean, is that possible? Can they contact you? Is it well? Yes, they can. It depends obviously on the subject matter, but we have spoken in a number of churches. Are our churches. Summit has given us a venue every quarter and you know that we talk about down the show. And then we've been other churches and the community as well. And and other people were going up to a chiropractic clinic in Dallas, and we're gonna be speaking on different subjects. Subject matters. And so you think? Yes, we are. I mean, we don't. That's not our profession. It's more of a passion for us. We just wanna have some critical. Teach people to create, we think is we always doing educate on topics that we believe that we have. Some education and some wisdom on speaking on and then we share we used to do a Q and a so yes. So it's gonna be with you expecting a good time. And he goes the intrepid lawyer here in the group and I, You know, I have 16 years of science and the business of science and the farmer and big farm and that kind of thing. So science and politics covers a lot of things. Yeah. Science policy in the law, so Man. There's always something we haven't opinion on, and hopefully it's an informed opinion in faith. I've been to a couple of years seminars and I the thing that I think I loved about it. The most is that it is a time that people are not afraid to speak out and say Purging didn't nurture that environment. Yeah. You can disagree. You can challenge us. Please Do women trust me. There's not much that people can think of that him and I in our walk of where we're getting too in our opinions or whatever we're talking about. He's a scientist. I'm a trial lawyer. We look at evidence. We follow evidence where it leads and way don't care about our feelings. We have to show for feelings when we're looking at objective evidence, and so We love the discussion. As long as it's professional and respectful. We don't mind passion. We just don't really want an emotional conversation. We don't mind a passionate one, and it's and it's fun. Most people enjoy it. They reason with them through things, and we talked to them. But whatever subject matter we're talking about. So, yeah, you've you showed up a few times, and that was the best..

"W O EI. This is sidebar with Nicola Hood Hood. Norton Lawn, Of course, Georgia Rudo scholar trained chemist and owner of Haven builders will I don't know if we're gonna have a chance to talk about coronavirus, George way too many things going on. That deserves its own show because we haven't said enough about career virus, right? No, I know except that it's almost about to just disappear. Right? Well, we're talking about Joe Biden and I guess that even it does seem like a long time ago. But just a few days ago when he was sworn, and he is now our president. He's already had some incidents where someone will ask him a question, and he Immediately. We'll just say Come on, man like he always does. And I'm wondering if that's like an indication of what we are to get in the future. Do that's very consistent President Biden before he was president never been good at taking criticism at all. I'm in period whether it was a town hall when he said, You're whatever blind pony whatever the hell, he said. 20 boys, something lying dogs. Whatever I mean, And then, he said, is that a shop manufacturers shopping in East any challenges a person about air 14, or he said something wrong. I'm not sure what it was, but He just shown over and over again? A very distinctly Yeah, he's pretty prickly men. So the criticism of President Trump before? I mean, I just I hope to get the consistency from whomever whatever media outsource. They criticized and holds the president Biden the same standards. It's got to be a standard Ah, universal standard principles that we live by, Yes, that anyone in office is held by and when you pick and choose, then that's when you know that you're in trouble becomes survival of the fittest King of the mountain. Whoever's in charge has power their rules. We will prevail and then that's the jungle mentality. The survival of the fittest that is not conducive for healthy society. I really believe you're going to see a third term of Obama. I think you're gonna see some of that because Obama was very similar in that way. I mean, he received coochie coo questions from the press all the time. Real real softballs, and he didn't really show inability to handle stress very well, either, And I would suspect the same thing about buying the media's already fawning and asking ridiculous questions of this man. But I think that peeling back the layers you're living carrying getting back to our Nico kind of end of this notion of of opportunities that change from 12 to 15 years ago, so Biden is responding the way that he's responding. That's that's a statement about power. Biden is motivated just like the rest of his party by power there an interesting negotiating with dissent. They're not interested in hearing the opposing other side. I've already showed, they say, say, support, big text, censorship of their political enemies, and I think we've seen the beginning of that. I don't think we've seen the end by any stretch of the imagination. And so it's all about Biden and the media. Darn well better get in line. They are, by the way, but if they weren't they darn well better because that's where the power is. And so I think you can expect a lot of softball questions. I think you can spend a lot of prickliness. But this should concern every American. Do We want a president that can't handle any criticism? Are you kidding me? Not only that, But don't you feel like eventually even the lovers of President Biden. Will see through what is happening. And and what do you mean? What's happening? Well, that the soft balls are all that's going to come toward him. I mean, because no one wants to ruffle his feathers. I mean, how much longer can they continue to criticize what Melanie is wearing? Instead of going to the topics and say, Hey, just wondering, I mean, Why are we going to stop the border wall? Why are we going to count illegal immigrants? You know for the census just is it Is it Does it have to be that you have to unravel everything Trump did because you hate trump. I mean, can't anybody see through all of this to say? Hey, some of this stuff that Trump did was good. Even if you hated him now, will you? I hope we get. I hope we have see some of that. I meant to George's point early on. We're already seeing this unraveling. And that means you're taking the position that everything that President Trump did was bad and I just I That I don't you just can't logically consistently. And non contradictory support that position with objective facts with regardless of who you are, and I heard someone speaking the other day, someone who did not support President Trump gave him credit on how he handled Israel. And foreign affairs over there in the Middle East and said, Look, I mean, he did a lot of good over there. That was some of the good accomplishment, so we need to build off that. I thought that was a responsible statement. I think that's the kind of mind set that we need. We need agree on concepts and what's better for America. All Americans. Regardless of who you voted for. You can't ignore the fact that at least that I don't know how many total But at least 75 million people voted for President Trump. And however many voted for President Biden. But my point is is you're not talking about, you know, a million folks. I mean, this is all a substantial amount of Americans and I and I conspicuous that there's probably more that just didn't vote and more that would have voted for buying that didn't vote as well. But what do you do with that? I don't know. I'm told off that. Do you try to wedge in more divide, or do you truly tied to unify and say Hey, what do you What is it that you want? Why do you want it? Here's what we want here is why we want it. If we have to agree to disagree. We have to do that. But we have to be neighbors were all Americans. Americanism used to mean something, and we've got to defend that. And everyone needs to defend that. You can't make a claim that you're interested in unity. And then take immediate policy positions that are inherently and fundamentally decided divisive, right when you threw when you when you signed an executive order that supports the definition. Like how shall I say it sort of fluidity based definition of human sexuality? Probably not a great idea. And then you want that to enter and become standard. An American high schools, for example. Where it's okay for males to walk into female bathrooms and vice versa. That's all right. When you take those kinds of positions, they're gonna be that unsettling through the heart of American culture. I'm not sure how that's gonna help. Your theme of unity when you go after, and I'm kind of summarizing sort of three issues and you go that we brought up at the beginning of the program when you go after a commission that basically wants to teach all of American history, the good the bad and the ugly because nobody's perfect and donations. I think, like seventies when you go after the 17 76 commission, and you reverse that, and instead you support the 16 19 project. Which teaches that America is fundamentally a racist and bigoted country founded on slavery really hard to see how that's going to contribute to unity when you're going to be race, border controls and invite millions of illegal immigrants to just kind of come on in. Maybe not all this week, which is what he said. Hey, don't come. All right now. Well, when two weeks is two weeks, okay, three weeks. Why is it OK? Why is it okay to just cut when you take these positions? That are fundamentally hurtful to the country. I'm trying to understand how that syncs up with your unity message. Should we not be asking those questions well and going back. I mean, I have to admit to myself that I didn't listen to The Biden's speech during the inauguration, But I did listen to the exit speech that President Trump gave and I wanted to listen to them because I I was I was thinking he's courageous for coming in front of people and saying what he thought and and blowing his own horn.

"1200. W Oh, yeah, This is sidebar with Nico LaHood and Georgia Rouge's Oh, what's What guy? What? Stop being so bad. What are you talking about? Um, I think we're all a little bit punchy. Because of the events of the week. You're here. My designated drinkers, Karen. Thank you. Very really meant to say, I know. Thank you very much. Should I give you all the big intros or should we just jump right in everyone? Did you hear the bus? Well, I'm telling you, just if you can believe it, and George, you mentioned this in just the last couple of days. Joe Biden has begun to undo unravel of any of the plans accomplishments that the former President Donald Trump had to put America first. And I think that we always have to go back to the fact that there it really is. Half of the people that voted provided by men half that voted, so that's what's causing this big divide because the people that voted for President Trump Last time in this time are still out there. And so all of this unraveling, I think it's making one a lot of people afraid and to a lot of people. With a big question mark above their head. What's happening to America? Think it's unfortunate, you know, as someone you know when you take office and you take office after a predecessor, if you truly care about the people that you're serving And your constituents and you're truly a public servant. You keep in place. Whatever your predecessor had in place that benefited the people that you're supposed to be serving. It's not. I just want to undo everything, you dicks. I want to do everything that's that You're making it about you or about agenda about something other than The people that you're serving. I always believe, you know, give honor to whom honor is due is Romans 13. And so I have no problem acknowledging When somebody else does something well, whether I like them or not. My predecessor. Anybody else I'm going to give honor. I'm going to give praise acknowledgment. When it when it's deserved period end of story, And if somebody deserves that criticism, and hopefully it's based off logic and reason and some type of moral compass and principles within you, you hold them accountable, but But you had this message this speech. From President Biden. And everybody should call him President Biden whether you believe it's all of our present president, the president, you can believe in the process. You can believe there was whatever that's fine. You're you're entitled to believe that but he is writing has been sworn in and he's the president and we should as a people. Regardless, especially people of faith should be praying for him. We should pray for his success. We should pray for his blessings for his protection. The fact that he did that that if you don't believe in his ideology or what he's trying to accomplish. That if you're a Christian, that God changes his heart. It's happened over and over again, George and I just thought on that on Thursday we're talking about you know that the king can repent. And when the people repent the king will. It was none of it's right. We're talking about Jonah and other things. So you should be praying for for President Biden, but he took he really gave up. I mean, I didn't watch it all. I didn't watch any of the inauguration, but I saw some of his speech. It was actually on paper. It was a good speech, right and good enough. It talked about unifying all this and it's all rhetoric. But is it rhetoric or was it meant And then when you look at his actions to your point, Karen Based off the unify, unify, unified But then the underlying theme was unified. As long as you do things my way that's not exactly community necessarily, very gracious person. I am substantially less gracious. I did not. I was not impressed by the speech. I thought it was much ado about nothing in terms of a lot of words. But it didn't really say anything. I am I agree with you. I think that that's how I would. The words sounded good. Sure, but that's all I'm saying. And then you say they had substance behind them. I don't know. Well, sure, Short of saying Trump's and ass and in saying it literally fruit 45 times in a row. Yeah, it was a productive speech. A real improvement over the last month, I would say, um, I don't. I gotta I gotta be. Gotta tell you this idea of unity concerns me because we've seen what they've But the party's been doing or last 2 to 3 weeks. Nico. What does that mean? You know, Unity doesn't mean that you slander your opponents. It doesn't mean that you censor your opponents that that you support efforts to stifle the speech of your opponents. And so we know that there's a socialistic mindset here and we know what unity means and socialistic circles. In other words, you lose your individuality and you become a group. Think society member, The bigger the bigger the government, the smaller the citizen, And so this would have been a wonderful opportunity for President Biden to say Hey, and by the way, Big tech I know you're listening. Don't censor people. This is the United States of America. And whether we agree or disagree with them, let them have their voice. They're entitled to free thought free speech and do not sense And we do not support that because there's no way we can unify under my way or the highway type situations. That's ultimately what is The underlying message I want to. I want to give the rope, so to speak for the ideology to hang itself, and I always get deeper than the individual. It's about the ideology behind the individual. Because, remember, we talked about this before. George, You're never voting for a person. You're truly voting for the ideology behind the person and you're only decision is does that person hold up the ideology that you claim to support? And so I want a fresh start in the sense that we already have history with this guy, But I mean and and the party, unfortunately and say, Hey, look. Okay, Here it is. This is your show. Here's your canvas. What are you gonna paint your butt?.

"100 Wook I This is sidebar with Nico LaHood. George Rouged. Oh, um The things that we were talking about the umbrella topic over it, of course, is the cancel on the cancel the council culture, and so there's so many parts of this that I can't even I can't even like concentrate on one of them because there's so many things happening. We talked about the people like a real estate company and its relationship with a broker because they were seeing in social media. Um you know, it's a Trump rally, a teacher's relieved of her duties because she was there. But you're also talking George about now It's gone to like politicians, too. How is it that How is this ever going to stop is my big question? Well, it's not going to stop. I mean, until until people decide that it's unacceptable and I think that's the great question. Right now. We know what the Constitution says. We know that provision air made for free speech here, and that's what's being blown off entirely. You see, it has to be if you allow it to persist. Then here's the deal. There's this kind of spirit, this anti free speech spirit, and it's not too long. When that before that becomes official, and that's what concerns me where you actually lied to the erosion, fundamental erosion of First Amendment provisions. I'm very worried about that totalitarianism. I think that's something we've talked about it. Well, that's what that's the movement Nico that will hold a lot of words to the conference. There. Socialism. There's totalitarian ism. There's leftism. There's a lot of different terms out there. They They really enter the intertwine a lot, But But totalitarianism is the one that you and our and Karen were talking about. Can you give us kind of cliff note version of that, and then we can see how it's actually playing out in our society today. Well, totalitarian is, um um is kind of 1/20 century invention phenomenon. You don't really see it prior to the 20th century because what's happened in the 20th century? Is that you have this kind of wonderful yet unholy marriage between science and technology. You see science, the Latin. The Entomology of the term in Latin is that it means knowledge. The ability to know where is technology in Greek actually means to make things And so you now have the ability that you've never had before. To actually take what is and make it into what isn't and so a totalitarian regime or impulse is really sort of feeds on the human tendency to try to control the totality of things, and that includes your speech. Now we've said many times in here that the great danger with that is By the time you control someone speech, you have, in essence control their thoughts, because by the time they articulate or enunciate words they thought thumb and so this son, this marriage of science and technology now gives us the ability to control things at a level that we have never been able to control before. And you go to places like China and there are cameras everywhere, right? You've got facial recognition systems. We have the ability to hear people and we have the ability to see people 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and these kinds of things were predicted in totalitarian novels of the 20th century like George Orwell's 1984, and we're seeing significant elements of that today. Where we are ultimately, from government officials to big tech CEOs to media in general to celebrities who are calling for it to university professors at Harvard, you on Yale and University of California, Irvine this past week. I mean, I've got three or four professors in mind that have called for the stifling free speech. And for literally censoring people who engaged in speech that they didn't like. So I hope that's a summary of what totalitarianism is. It is and I understand in my mind what I hear that and I think about the cancel culture, I think about muting Certain or some citizens right for their thoughts. But what I don't understand is how has it gotten so far as to also erase history? Whether it right a statue or as you said, some are trying to take away. Ted Cruz is of the greed agree those kids. They're students at Harvard. They're actually making a movement. It's more like a bowel movement. To me. It's ridiculous, but it's more of a movement to remove anybody from Harvard. Their degree that has been associated with President Trump. That is absolutely insane. And if you read George Orwell's 1984, that's actually what happens in that novel playbook. I'm just look wherever you are in the political spectrum. We've got to sit here and reason together. What is the difference between a Trump rally in the BLM rally? What is the difference between Congresswoman? You know, Presley thinks she's in Massachusetts or up north, calling for unrest in the streets because over the horrible death of George Floyd, nobody's right primary debate that everybody agreed on it. But but but but 99% of the people out there are good people and all this other stuff, But yet everybody at a trump rally as don lemon stupidly he should be removed off TV and responsibly and irresponsibly called everybody there. Clan members. There's people there black and brown and Hispanic and Cuban and everything else in between an Asian I mean, that's absolutely insane. That is incendiary language. It's called. It's only used to create strife and division and it's wrong. Period. End of story Don Lemon can have his opinions and everybody else can have their opinions, what they do with it and how they apply these principles or ideologies or lack of logic. Differently to different scenarios. That is what needs to be called out because if you're gonna call out one behavior in certain arena, you're going to call it that same behavior in a different arena with different people that have a different mindset in ideology because the baby behavior is the same, but that's not happening. Why, No, that's that's not so That's I think that's the problem here. You when you come to the point where you have private firms censoring the president, United States And preventing him from effectively communicating with citizens over Ah, you know, a medium that everybody uses for universal reach. That is really, really scary stuff, because if you can, in fact do that to the leader of the free world who can't you do that, too? And I want people to understand who are listening today. This isn't about Trump..

"That's not what we're seeing right now. Yes, and what we're seeing right now is that we have vaccine that is being distributed but is not being taken. And so we have a surplus of vaccine right now and and a rather sort of low number of people who are interested in taking it merits a lot of these m r Any vaccines or to dose regimen. Right your first and you get your second. They're after And so we haven't even adequately or fully distributed anywhere near what we should be distributing, theoretically, from a planning scenario perspective Because they don't want it. S so now What now? What do we do? Um, so why not? What's going on here? Are we asking these questions? Karen, We have not been trained to hand through these questions or to ask these questions. And that is American. We always ask important questions about the implications of our actions on society that that's America. We've always done that. And though when you Nico earlier said, Well, it's card for me to recognize When they say that it's in the best interest of the patient when there's that giant looming monetary game that hovers over the best interest of the patient, and so it is kind of hard. For someone to figure it out. If they are not reading and don't know the facts that fear takes over everything that we were in a text him earlier and you know, and George is just one of those, you know, mental Freaks him and he loves this stuff. He studies and I said, But he's one of these. He just loves this stuff he analyzes. He's a chemist by trade is the scholar. His mind works differently. I mean, Azaz Educators. I try to keep myself if I didn't have someone like George that I could immediately go to and analyze information, then go off and look at stuff on my own. What would you do? It's easy to get influenced by information. When you're being inundated by it. We can talk about that more in the censorship and the lack of information, not the information, the lack of it out there that's influencing our.
