Who is most likely or more likely to win. A title in the next two years the brooklyn nets with the golden state warriors three years. Let's say well. Yeah you gotta do three 'cause then you're saying it's next year when klay thompson comes back because they're not winning at this year. I guess i would go with brooklyn. Because i'm not sure what claes going to be like when he comes back steph. Curry is over thirty. You know was james. Wiseman going to develop into a really good player. I don't know that feels like brooklyn's not adding to their roster. The dutton sir back yellowstone season three kevin costner's is the star streaming now exclusively on peacock whether you're a newcomer to the rancher season. "Fritz my new best friend. How was i the whole fly-fishing year. Great tight so we were. We were practising some fly fishing there. We could never do a buddy trip recurred. No you gotta be buddies to go on a buddy. That's true but if you could wink at that part i'm sure it must have a common interest besides spoiled smoke cigars. You don't drink pretty boring guy. Now come to think of it nick. Right he's a popular co host of first things first on fox sports one and he joins us on the program. Good morning. nick how are you. Hey are you guys i. I'm adding to my bucket list. Go on a buddy trip with dan. Patrick i didn't even know that was available but i'm adding it. Okay but would you go fly fishing. I've never been fly fishing. Fishing is something that in my head. I love and then i'm like i've done it once in twenty years as an adult. So how much do. I actually love it. But i think i like it. I don't totally understand what fly fishing is. Seems like you're waiting and water. I don't get it is probably not the best discussion point year. I've just seen it on movies. Yeah like a river. Runs through it with brad pitt. Where they they make sangley thinking. Yeah they make. It seem romantic. And it's really hard to do but you do feel like you're actually fishing like their skill to it instead of just going to throw a line out the water and then just wait for the fish to take it. I feel like maybe i'm wrong. I feel like maybe in your younger days. You were a big paid to go on a big excursion you cast and then you go drink and then somebody reels it in and you take the picture. No no no. No no never did that. No no. I didn't wanna do any deep sea fishing. I i would just go in lakes and creeks and go fishing but no no there was never. Hey can you put it the worm on the hook. Throw it out there catch it. And then i'll reel it in. And i get the photo op. No i didn't do a victory lap like that still working man. That's the way to go. I hope to that one day. I think it's a sign of success. I haven't gotten there yet all right. What's what's the one topic this week where you're still going. I don't have answers to this. And i want them. Oh what an interesting question. But the it's similar to the last time we talk. Did sean payton that someone years ago i can win games with tight end playing quarterback and he is still trying to win. That bet. that's the question. I have and listen. The i understand the taste of mill fans took a victory lap. After his performance. Against the falcons which was sense and that victory lap open enjoyed it because against the broncos you saw more of thought you were going to see. The falcons are going to beat them this week. I don't know if you looked at the point..

"Jeff philly eight and a half at green bay any chance for. We're game there. I keep waiting for the eagles to do something that they're not supposed to do. And that is play. Well i don't know if it would be this weekend but at some point they might do something correctly. What else Let's see we got. Miami is a huge favourite against cincinnati. Miami's cincinnati done like. They're not going to be competitive with these backups right. I think they'd be hard pressed to go into miami in and make that competitive pick up a win. And here's what i like. Seattle is a ten point favorite against the giants. That feels like a ton of points. Yeah but. I don't think anybody thinks the giants are that good. I just said they're playing well and they could win that division but as i mentioned earlier stats inc. They crunched all the numbers. Philadelphia could win that division going. Four eleven and one. That doesn't mean you're you're good because you want your division but you're going to get to host a playoff game. Whoever wins the east is hosting a playoff game. What else do you have in club. Okay we got the bears detroit is. Is there any playoff for the bears. We done with that early not to get excited about five hundred one. Yeah when everybody's looking at these records. And then i would hear bears fans what about us. We're five and one. I am joy it but is mitchell trubisky starting again. I'm guessing his like did he. Did he earn another week. Guessing is this the last week for carson wentz if carson wentz doesn't play well in green bay could we see a change. There jalen hurts. I'm wondering about that as well. Tatum hill in this game against atlanta. He starting this tastes hill. Finish this game you know will. They need jameis winston if they get behind would they put jameis winston. Those are some of the things that i'm curious about Let me see. Laura in boston has been holding for a while. Hey laura what's on your mind. Thanks for holding on har you good I had two questions One is mentioned the other day how you don't really not an ohio state fan anymore. You kind of had a disconnect. And i think of like Scott pelton how. He wears maryland basketball on his sleeve. And sometime a bears fan. And i'm looking towards them. Being befall purgatory. Wherever i disconnect myself from the paulie. Do you want to help laura in boston to disconnect from being a bears fan. Yeah it's not just a job. It's a frustration. I think that the other day watching bears games is not fun. It's not enjoyable experience when our national tv..

"Polian mclovin at their respective homes safe distancing here final hour. We'll talk to nick right. Fox sports one first things first. He's got some interesting opinions here certainly on what's happening with houston with james harden russell westbrook now going to washington and john wall. Come into town nick. Sabin is back for the lsu game thirty point favorites against lsu the largest point spread for a defending national champ. And they're twenty nine and a half point underdogs here. Josh gordon has been reinstated again for the seahawks. Byu at coastal ohio state. Michigan state am auburn. Clemson virginia tech. It feels like something is going to happen this weekend. We've been waiting for something to happen. Maybe surprise maybe not maybe we go as scripted here for this weekend but it feels like there's something that will happen. I do know that maybe the people who have the most pressure on them. This weekend are two truck drivers who have to go forty hours cross country. Twenty two hundred mile journey they are leaving provo utah. They've already left. They have to get to coastal carolina conway south carolina by three o'clock today. The byu team lands this afternoon in south carolina. And if they don't have the equipment the supplies to get ready for a big game big showdown with coastal carolina. Two ranked teams to undefeated teams. I don't know if there's a backup plan here but that's a whole lot of pressure and as byu's equipment manager. Billy nixon said there is no room for error. They're getting regular updates from the two drivers. The tightest window that i've ever been part of. He said they're professional drivers. But this this is pushing them the cougars. And they face the cianci clears who were nine or no was well and they need to. They just came up with this arrangement on wednesday afternoon and all of a sudden you got to truck drivers an all the equipment and they have to get there by three o'clock this afternoon. Yeah imagine you're the byu truck drivers you get pulled over for going ninety five goes. What's the hurry. Well we're undefeated where. Byu football we're going to cross country to play. Coastal carolina on national tv and college. Game day is going to be the the officers like. There's no chance you're telling me the truth right now because that can't be happening. What if you had a police officer as they get into south carolina and then they pull him over oh.

"Let's see who we got collar what's your name, and where are you calling from? My name is Mitchell I'm calling from Atlanta Mitchell what's going down man? Now much Nick Right. Yes sir. Nice Dude Yeah I was wondering so yeah nineteen. I'm basically doing like a kind of like a power golding split right now I love it. And I'm wondering like what's Seddon Range? You think is best for bench press 'cause I've been doing a five by five. But I was wondering I've tried different things like before I was doing like just a typical split like three sets eight reps right. doing a five by five. Now, I was wondering or your take on the best like rep ranges to increase the bench. So. is a little different from person to person one person might respond better to high reps than low reps, and then another person might be the total opposite and it also can depend on where you are in your training. But personally what I've found for definitely myself and I found this for a lot of people. It's not it's not the golden rule, not the law. But it's something I've definitely found that works a lot is typically lower reps for bench press. So I personally stick to around four actually I buy. So I have a power building program that I designed in two thousand eighteen. It's the same one I've used for the last couple of years. Now I haven't switched off of it and I'm still making progress on it. And a lot of my main bench days there are four by fours and they'll have a variation bench, Dale Bench twice a week and a variation bench day. That'd be a long pause day like a two second pause and that what I might do like. Three something a little bit different there. But for my main working bench day like a four by four in progress the weight up a little bit each week and that's the other big thing to it doesn't necessarily it doesn't matter what your ups and sets are but it also matters how you're progressing with the weight because that should also be strategic kind of like the same way you drop your calories down strategically when you're doing a cut kind of how you WANNA move up in weight as well. So I four three weeks we'll be a four by four and then starting on week four I actually start doing heavy single, not a Max just a heavier single in my reps. And then dropped down to other letter weight into a four by four after that if that makes sense. Yeah Also, what do you think is the best like Like accessories for us. So, one accessory that gets so overlooked in powerlifting is the dumbbell press. It's so simple but so effective and you can do you can do the flat dumbo press or if you're already doing a lot of flat benching and you're kind of gas from that, you can just do incline dumbbell press and you don't even have to make it heavy heavy pressing can work well. What I'll have some of my guys doing train them is. They'll do all their flat bench work, and then afterward I'll have them do like a by eight on inclined dumbbell press nothing too crazy not superlight but not super heavy either and it works amazingly that and close grip pressing for the triceps are probably the two biggest exercises and then man the biggest thing for benching. So dumbbell pressing, close pressing, and then just the biggest fixer of all for everyone is simply pause reps start pausing all of Europe's doesn't have to be a long pause it can be half a second. It could be one mrs up like that easy. But Start Pausing your reps and control the bar. Go on. You. Think I should do that like on every. On every settled should do a positive. Yeah. Ideally up and it may suck at first because like they're tougher when you're not used to them. So you probably to wait and just practice with the slightly letter wait what I'm telling you man once you get used to it, they will blow your bench press up because if you've ever failed a rep and you got it off your chest but then it kinda started failing like midway up. That's usually because you don't have enough power off your chest and so pause reps will help that. Okay. Yeah. I never really did pause. And that'd be the biggest game changer right there. Cool. Man. Thank you so much for calling in and we sincerely appreciate it. Yes. Awesome. Oh cool Let's just hop right into it but I, was gonna ask you actually Ashi after this. Let's see. We got next. Caller. What's your name? Where are you calling from? Going down manager boy. From the big age town what's going on? Man. Had A question regarding I'm getting ready for me in here next year but I'm currently in cut in phase about let's say one ninety I'm kinda down to one, seventy five. That's my goal around January and had a question for you regarding that Iraq I can. Compete at one eighty one. Okay. So what recommend me during my cut when I'm in about the you know range of one eighty one to ahead and compete or just finished my cut off at one, seventy five and just kind of you know kind of not bulk up like. Easily. Eighty one me yeah I would you go about the I? Would your second option one, hundred percent? I would cut down already be about cut down one, seventy five, and then ease back into that one eighty range, and then do a meat just because when you are in the middle of cutting especially when you're deep into a cut, you're GonNa be zapped man you just don't have enough calories to really be your strongest. You're going to be kind of. Low. Energy. So you want to have some energy one have some calories in you. You don't have to be necessarily heavy, but you WANNA have at least energy in calories. So I would I would do the cut get shredded, get lean, and then after one five slowly you don't think fat too. Slowly Kinda add a little bit more calories than slowly you know even if you come in light like one eighty at least you're going to have calories and energy and you're gonNA feel a.

"About one gram per pound of body weight. Fat. You WanNa do your body weight times point three. or point four if you want to on the higher side. And then whatever's left, you calculate all that. Whatever's left is you can fill it up carbs but keep it simple. Just protein get those carbs fats in just eat well. What type we try to stay away from? Well. That's GONNA come down to you more than anything I mean in a general sense you know eating. Eating higher quality food. So obviously, you're meets your vegetables, fruits, things that are going to be higher and vitamins nutrients overall getting good fiber. Is, always the best way to go. So then foods that wouldn't really fit into that would obviously be like a lot of the process sugar stuff process sugar isn't evil. You can have it. It's not gonNA it's not GonNa, destroy you but you should make your entire diet be ice cream and chocolate and things like that twenty, four seven and as far as lifting goes. Be Very careful this is going to come down to you finding out what works for you. You'RE GONNA want to make notes of what foods don't sit well with you when you're lifting so. If. You're someone who gets lightheaded or you have high blood pressure when you lift, he know maybe don't have a whole lot of sodium. Don't have. Sushi with a bunch of soy sauce right before you lift you know or if you have a sensitive stomach stay away from maybe greasy foods no fast food stuff like that things GonNa make you sluggish and possibly mess up your stomach and performance. Okay to say three times a day. You Do Cardio three times a day. Yeah Seems like a lot of cardio. What do you do? More like. Running and all that. Well, if you are doing cardio, I mean I don't know exactly what your schedule looks like exactly what your goals are but if you're doing that much cardio. More like A. What? Do you mean three times a week three times a day. Do like every day once a day. Okay. Yeah. That's good. Yeah. Yeah. That's good. I like to I like doing cardio wants today do it after you lift I wouldn't do it before you lift. and. You don't have to do right after lift you can lift you can eat income home you can relax whatever you can have dinner. You can the whole nine yards and then you can do it later on the evening if you want or you can lift and you can just have one scoop of protein. That's what I like doing when I do them both at the same time I'll go into the gym a lift up bring one scoop. Of Protein with me usually in like a small little tupperware right and I'll mix it up in my in my water bottle at the end of my weightlifting workout and then I'll just I'll pound that and then I'll go onto the treadmill and do my cardio. So you get a little bit of that protein in right after work out, which is good because protein repairs muscles. So you want some protein definitely throughout the day especially after you work out. You'RE NOT GONNA. Die If you don't have it, you're not gonNA wither away if you don't have it but it doesn't hurt. But you can do that. You could just work out you can have your protein right there in the gym after your weights and then you can do your cardio. or You could work out, go home, eat a real meal, and then do cardio and its own time but I wouldn't do cardio before you do your weight training stuff just because cardio can drain, you can tire you out a little bit. Can even make you tight. So if you need cardio the need coming in to do a heavy squat, the squat trash. Under. The Cardio. That's also up to you. If you're walking like if you're doing like a steady wok, usually forty five minutes is a good minimum. If you're running. That can that can that's up to you and it depends exactly what you're doing. The unit can do a thirty minute jog you can do. You know intermittent where you like sprints and then slow down and sprint and slow down. So it depends on what you're doing that'd be hit high high intensity interval training. Take Awesome. You hit me up on instagram anytime. You have a question to always there. Appreciate you taking the time to call. US. TAKE IT BUD Let Rather. Does dope real quick on the cardio thing because I like to do is actually just go for calories I don't go for time. So like I make sure like the least get five hundred calories burnt like estimated. I'm not saying like, oh, I can now eat a five hundred calorie meal extra at the end of the day it's just a target what do you think about that? So I think all it comes down to consistency consistency is the only important thing there. So if you're counting calories on the machine, the machines obviously not going to be accurate says your count you're burning five hundred calories. Maybe you are. Maybe you are maybe you're burning less maybe burn more who knows you know maybe of a the weighted vest on and you're actually burning more calories than the says whatever. But what it does mean is that you know that walking at that pace if it's on a treadmill, you say you're walking four miles an hour whatever you're doing you know that at that pace. For that amount of time you're burning. The same amount of calories. So even if five hundred dollars is an accurate if it's only three hundred, whatever if you repeat that same exact pace and time every day, you're guaranteed to be burning the same amount of calories every day and you figure out if it's enough or you need more just by eating, you know if you're a way isn't going anywhere then. Maybe kick it up a little bit or a little bit less in proportion if you're doing that and you're dropping went really fast than, hey, maybe you're burning more calories than your, you can eat a little bit extra. You know man four miles an hour who are you David? GOGGIN BS I am. Signal call..

"Dot com they do these huge web series covering it but I realized there's really nothing covering teen bodybuilding. So I started uploading videos on Youtube just Basically. To store my contests footage on there just of contests footage and just forget about it. It was just there. So I can look back at it kind of like dropbox or Google docs and one day look back at it and I noticed I had a pretty good amount of views and subscribers built up from it and I was Kinda shocked. But then it kind of clicked I love public speaking love it love speaking in front of a camera and I think I'm pretty good at breaking things down in a unique way when it comes to giving. Information out. So I just decided you know what? I'm going to create a platform to document teen bodybuilding since there isn't one and it'll be youtube and I started my channel and it started interacting and the rest was history though. For people out there right now like. Youtube and Twenty Twenty It seems like it's probably going to be like damn near impossible to get big now just because the the spaces and there's so much noise going on right What advice do you have somebody specifically in the fitness realm to help build their? Youtube. Channel. Run. I was listening I like jogging I don't run away from. The best advice I can give you. There's there's no real tricks of trade anymore. It's a crazy time right now. So you're you're dealing with an industry that's so overly saturated. You're doing with algorithms now on Youtube Instagram, facebook medias that work against you even let your content get to your organic followers anymore everything's we're GonNa get you, and then there's no real trend to follow either on one side of fitness youtube, you have guys give it informative lifting. Tips on the other side you have Larry wheels hitting PR's and then the other side you have just gimmicky shit with people pulling up in like supercars doing backflips and crazy stuff like that. That's just kind of eye and goes viral. So there's not one real right track to jump on. So my advice now would be my advice was back when I first started youtube and what it has always been, which is decide what you're passionate about and pursue that. Passionately and then just use youtube as a way to share that passion boom. That's it. If you do that, you'll never go wrong because you may run into a point where you're not getting views things are not picking up it's not going well, you're not going to care because you're just following your passion first and foremost, and then eventually you keep doing that enough you never know something could finally pick up. Do you think it's like a viable option anymore these days to just rely just on youtube like ad revenue for somebody to like. Because what I'm thinking is like, okay like even doing all this right now like. In so much work and attention into this podcast. That is very much obviously worth it. Is that worth these days to put that much time and energy into a Youtube Channel? No. Not just first rate revenue and actually. GRADUATE ASK THAT Starting to Youtube Channel. For the sake of revenue and making money is an absolute guarantee to failure. I've said that before a billion times and still stand by if you're starting youtube channel to make money, you're gonNA fail because already your heads going to be in the wrong place and you're going to be number focus you be focusing on the numbers and those numbers do not climb fast and you're gonNA get discouraged and you're getting fed up and you're going to quit and also the the viewers are going to be able to tell that your content is not genuine. There's something about Content when is genuinely creative and it's coming from a passion it just feels different. It sits with you different and you're not going to have that so. Do not focus on the money at all and don't get an youtube for the sake of making money and also is it feasible? So in theory yes like I still make money off my youtube channel and even when I start uploading more, see that money go up again but you gotta get a pretty big channel to make sufficient money. Now you know nowadays it's like okay YouTube. Cool. But we're really relying on sponsors relying on our own businesses our own sites whether you coaching programs run a clothing line whatever it may be. Other endorsements, there's other things that come from the youtube channel that make us money. So we're not really focus too much on the ad revenue because that's getting smaller and smaller and smaller companies are paying less and less money because ads are becoming less and less effective at targeting was huge in two thousand and fifteen. It's quickly becoming saturated and not as effective anymore. So the paying less and less. So the CPM's are less and less. And then like I said, the Algorithms are working against you you know and. Now you've got two more hoops to get monetize as a new channel and you gotta You I forget what it is now, but you gotta reach a minimum amount of views. And Wash time every single month stay monetize. It's something like like I think like now nine thousand minutes or some something that sounds something like that and then like ten. Or maybe it's just like one thousand subscribers right? But yeah, I guess, yeah the the barrier of entry. Is getting a little bit higher which actually appreciate because I don't think you know I I think the harder it is actually get monetize I think it will be like the market be less saturated but as far as being a viable option of like you know 'cause like my daughter is twelve years old and like most kids she's like I just wanted to youtube. It's like it's going to take a little bit more than just making like a youtube channel. Take stuff like social media. So D is Are you like you and Arianna the only two that run your social media or the only ones that run it and. What you said I want to go back to what you said about it kind of. The tighter standards for getting monetize kind of weeding out a lot of the undeserving content. That is true as an ideal but I don't think it's working that way in practice because I think what's happening is you're getting. Less, and less efficiency from ad targeting. So people are paying less and less and less and went up resulting is the few companies that have the money to spend are going to start becoming very choosy in what kind of channels, what kind of content they do put their ads into, and then what youtube ends up doing and also should meet isn't doing as they end up conforming this algorithm that's GonNa eventually favor the sort of videos and we're already starting to see this a little bit. Now, you're starting to see more censorship happing youtube now. Because it needs to appeal to advertisers and then you're also seeing and it's I think I think it's still a little bit more robotic right now I don't think it's necessarily someone's favourite tting certain videos but I think this is the direction could very easily go in and is starting to go in where The type of content. Genres, that do. Make money. Investors just want investor add sense into that. So therefore, Youtube is going to start favoring those and those are going to be recommended videos in the in the videos got circuit in the field and what you're going to see is entire genre start getting fizzled out and pushed off to the side. So initially started off with okay cool. We're making it so you can't just be anybody in jump onto youtube but now you're gonNA make. Okay. Even if you're a deserving channel, you just don't fit the criteria of advertisement so you gotta get shoved off to the side. Okay. Cool. It looks like we got a call now right? All right, let's see..

"Got to revise. Our bosses would be okay. We're both responsible deep. You and I got reputations there for a while is being rabble. Rouses out here in this space in sports and I've always contended and I'm curious your thoughts on this. We were talking about what the news was right. Like with Kana capper. Nick was the news of Catholic. Was the story we responsibly talked about capture nick with the appropriate context that matter with Catholic and I found that since then we really haven't had stories breakout then intersected sports in that way that involve you know the discussing some of those social factors. That'd be and said what's going on in Minnesota. It's like every time we try to get out. They pull us right back in and it's on fire of their and people in sports seemed to be now getting on this and talking about it and I'm curious your thoughts not even necessarily so much about the issue itself but are meat like as an industry if this becomes the thing that we don't have any sports on the field right now. Let's keep that part in my right. We don't have other stuff to talk about. How are we going to handle something like this? If it comes in our sports world and we have to well I. It's a really interesting question. And an additional part of it is someone that you and I both have a personal relationship with Steven Jackson. Evidently was very close with this man. I was late to recognizing that because I'm not on instagram. The way a lot of people I am on its rim but I'm not regularly on it the way I'm on twitter and I saw the picture I thought like a Lotta People's like man. You look so much like stack. I didn't realize until yesterday that e and stack knew each other from Houston that they had had a relationship and listen. The obvious. Point is this is quite literally exactly what Colin Kaepernick kneeling about. And the fact that this murder took place via kneeling is some of the most cruel irony imaginable. I I have now. Maybe this comes from a place of privilege. I don't know about not feeling the need to speak out. Continuously on every one of these horrible instances I did a big thing about Ahmad Arbor on the radio show and I wasn't sure if I was going to talk about this yesterday. Even though this has more of a closer connection to sports than Ahmad did But part of it because I don't think anyone actually disagrees with what cap was saying happens. I think people only disagree about whether or not. They think it's a problem. Which is what makes these discussions so tough because we listen. There's over whether you WANNA use anecdotal video or statistical evidence. We know cap was right. The issue is how many people and is it a disproportionate number of sports fans or is it the regular population. I don't know see it and say yeah. But that's that's actually what my tax dollars are supposed to go to and it makes it. I at one point in time felt like I need to. I have an obligation to talk about this as often as possible because I have a platform and I need to try to use it to affect change to change some people's minds and now and maybe this defeatist and maybe it's the easy way out. Now I've come to the conclusion like ain't no mind being changed. People have seen all the videos. They have all the facts. It's whether or not you think it's a problem. And unfortunately I don't think it's a majority of people or a majority of white people but it's not a negligible amount of people. See this and say yeah sounds about right and so and that if we're going to Kinda go really branch off for a moment that is why the all the Karen Videos on twitter wile. Some of them are amusing. I'M NOT GONNA lie. Some of them are actually kind of hilarious. It also is a very honest window into the mentality of a lot of the people who I used to spend time on and have. My Hair's turn gray arguing with on twitter. Which is the belief that the police is number. One job is to respond to the complaints of white people directed predominantly or primarily towards non white people and if police are not around white people can just substitute as their proxies. I want to know why you're here. I want to know why you're talking to me that way and I do think there's a lot of people that say. Yep sounds good to me. And it's tough to have those conversations that leads to me so. I don't know like two thousand sixteen was the moment that I was kind of like okay so I'm not changing people's minds. I'm decided here in daydream. My safety and my livelihood in nights aging minds busy also what I realized to change minds and I still face come up. I still talk about it but I feel like social media. Space in particular is no longer about dialogue is now about projection. It is everybody individually. Branding themselves and so since it is simply about projection that. I don't need to perform on this. You know what I mean. I don't need my my my bona fides a solid. I don't need to declare where I stand on this matter. Nfl myself over and over again. Just kind of saying the same thing and with twenty sixteen. I really hit a point and I think it's what you said. They're basically was just like okay. So y'all know what the deal is here. Y'All just go ride it out. Oh okay this is right. You know what I mean this is this is what it is this is this is. Kinda sorta what you it to be. An as they the social media space got less safe. I pulled back on doing those things right but I also find now what. I'm kind of doing. I guess it all depends on what a working also. I did a parting shot a couple of weeks ago about Tom Brady putting his name on the players. Coalition letter about Amata armory which I thought was very important because you know he's on their stay van. Gundy Steve Kerr's on there like there's a lot of guys and it's important that white people have visibility and of repute engage in these activities because white people will listen to white people why people are demonstrating. Then even if it's Tom Brady Okay. We just go like right. That was interesting. You're right the Tom Brady. You'RE GONNA act like it didn't happen and I WANNA give credit. I didn't see the full clip but I saw a bit of it today. Jj Watt spoke out against this. Now listen it's an obvious if you see what happened to George Lloyd and you're like I don't see the problem you're just a bad person so it's not like it's a hard stance to say that was horrifying but it is a stance. White athletes are not asked to take very often at its way to go back to the CAP thing. I was so disappointed that we didn't have a single white quarterback that was going to kneel with it and now like listen in my head. I would've I if I'm actually I can't say for definitively I would if I were in their position but I feel like I would have but I feel a seems like the there only two white football players that kneeled and both of them were in the situation. I'm in which is black with women and which again like I'm not. I think that you can get down a very dangerous and problematic thought process. If you talk about what do listen. I'm no matter who I'm married to my family is. I still walk around a white man in America. I get that but I do think once you start having fear for your own blood or your own family in a way that you didn't. I'll tell a quick story that you've probably heard and I apologize. If this is not the direction you wanted to go we were living in Houston in a white suburb. The area and sugarland. You've been to the house when the George Zimmerman verdict so when that comes down it was the first time my wife saw me cry.

"Series? This is. I guess we should settle in a little bit on the Bra because that's kind of become your thing. I had to hit. A body brought us. Try to hit them up. It'd be like damn man where you coming home like that man. You know what I'm saying. He said all those nice things about him after he crush me and I started following on twitter, assuming he'd see what a big Fan I was. See that my tweets from nine a tweet to you nine years ago when you were I'm sure just a visceral stringer bell that I found that I said I thought Brodie was the best character, and I assumed he d like Yo man. All love is giving you a hard time with Lebron. Appreciate Nope, no DM and continues to this moment to respond to folks who tweet about me laughing at me like. This just brutal. Racist. He's passionate on the matter, right. He? He is very serious about this. But the Jordan dot was interesting time to be you of this because I guess I don't have a great head low where you are a Mike because I, am on the Mike is the greatest program like I. Don't think the idea of broad is a great is is totally ridiculous, but this Jordan was just something that we just don't have a substitute for so where where are you on? Mike himself so I think it's a great question. And I think, and this is one of the things that I. do think differentiates the folks that are on the Lebron side of the argument and some of the folks I'm not talking about you, but some of the folks on the Jordan side of the argument folks such as myself. Who Think Lebron's greatest player ever. All of us say listen. You can make a case for Lebron, but the case for Jordan is not a bad one, and I would argue there's a third person who should always be mentioned in Kareem, and I think that as long as those are your top three. You can make a case for any of them, and it makes sense. I think Lebron's a little bit better and I think he's done it in a tougher era and I think he's obviously for a longer period of time. What was so fascinating during the Jordan doc was how many of the Jordan folks were using it as an attempt. Attempt to bring up, Lebron. Not the other way around and one of the big distinctions is there are a lot of Jordan. Folks that are still on the is Lebron actually even top five. In fact when you think about it. He's behind Kobe. In fact when you really think about it. I'm not sure if he's top ten. Nobody does that to Mike now. One good argue you don't do it to Mike. Because you can't I would argue you don't do it to Mike because you can't do it to Lebron, but it's a very different a some of the Jordan folks. Folks are offended that it's a discussion and another thing your network did that I thought was really interesting. was that poll the when it was seventy? Six percent of the public, says Michael Jordan's the greatest player ever, and we talked about it on my television show, and it was phrased to me is like that I should be wounded by it and I said. I'm be honest with you I. Look at that is a massive success for me. Personally because I believe that when I said Lebron's greatest player ever, which was June of two thousand sixteen after game seven against the warriors. Warriors I think that was a two percent opinion. I think the furthest anyone was going out on. The Ledge was Lebron. Maybe one day will be and the fact that now one in four basketball fans are like no, it's not Jordan. I feel like we're facing the way marijuana legalization paste. It was like five percent support, then all of a sudden thirty five percent support, and before you know it once they win this title and the next one. It'll be like sixty five percent. Yeah, he's a go a little bit log. It'd be like if you will the Braga married. Okay got it is. Not. Played. I saw the twinkle in your eyes. Get my finger coming for me. Graduate Progress by gradual progress absolutely. Well done. I think also this is where this gets interesting. Because you and I are about five years apart in age, I'm five years old and they'll. Five years matter a lot in the course of this discussion, because it affects the way that you consume my jaw right so like I don't remember a world without. Michael Jordan but I do remember world before Michael Jordan the champion like I remember world before everything by around. Around Mike was bill you born into the world, at least in terms of like having awareness and an old enough to like really grasp was going on I. Mea Finals! I vividly remember our Bulls Lakers like the Super Bowl. I vividly remembers the I called the art monk Super Bowl Washington buffalo like that that that very very early nineties the times. I, so you're right I have no recollection of Jordan getting beat. beat by the Pistons because I was too young to be out. I guess forming memories. Yeah, he's the establishment to you. You know he is that which you have inherited in a small way that kind of applies to me also, but like we'll abroad I remember like around nine zero nine in there I was all the Lebron's the best player I've ever seen, and I had very technical arguments that could back it. It, up I, was like name. What is it that Jordan does better than Lebron right like and I could go through and I could get this long list of everything. It was Lebron. Does Jordan taste to a place that makes me somewhat uncomfortable. Which is that I? Don't get too deep into touchy feelies in making analysis, but there is something to this i. Am a sociopathic killer thing that has real benefits. A NBA player it helps, it goes places and he weaponize. Is that in a way that? At the margins it winds up mattering I. Feel is the best way to put it. I, agree with that I. also agree that Jordan has the best story like this is why it was good that Phil walked away and didn't come back because I. Don't believe the Bulls in ninety nine. We're going to win a title now. I do think they could have gotten. There minded. Damn Nick Scott there as an eight seed. So you assume the Bulls make the playoffs Knicks. Missed the playoffs though I think they could have. Have Gotten there I. Don't think they would've had an answer for Dunkin Robinson. PIP wouldn't have been there. Rodman wasn't the same guy so even on the strength of Jordan alone they get there, but and I would have found that listen. I'm of the belief that winning as much as you can win. It always helps you know some people are of the belief. If you'RE GONNA, lose the worst thing you can do is lose in the championship round as.

"Series this is. I guess we should settle in a little bit on the Bra. Because that's kind of become your thing I had to hit a body brought us. Try to hit them up. It'd be like damn man where you coming home like that man. You know what I'm saying. He said all those nice things about him after he crush me and I started following on twitter. Assuming he'd see what a big Fan I was. See that my tweets from nine a tweet to you nine years ago when you were. I'm sure just. A visceral stringer bell. That I found that I said I thought Brodie was the best character and I assumed he d like Yo man all love is giving you a hard time with Lebron appreciate nope no. Dm and continues to this moment to respond to folks who tweet to him about me laughing at me like this just brutal. It's racist. He's passionate on the matter right He. He is very serious about this but the Jordan dot was interesting. Time to be you. I don't have a great head low where you are a Mike because I am on the Mike is the greatest program like. I don't think the idea of broad is a great is is totally ridiculous but this Jordan was just something that we just don't have a substitute for so where where are you on Mike himself so I think it's a great question and I think and this is one of the things that I do. Think differentiates the folks that are on the Lebron side of the argument. And some of the folks. I'm not talking about you. But some of the folks on the Jordan side of the argument folks such as myself who think Lebron's greatest player ever all of us say. Listen you can make a case for Lebron but the case for Jordan is not a bad one and I would argue. There's a third person who should always be mentioned in Korean. And I think that as long as those are your top three you can make a case for any of them and it makes sense. I think Lebron's a little bit better and I think he's done it in a tougher era and I think he's obviously for a longer period of time. What was so fascinating during the Jordan? Doc was how many of the Jordan folks were using it as an attempt to bring up Lebron not the other way around and one of the big distinctions is. There are a lot of Jordan folks that are still on the is Lebron. Actually even top five in fact when you think about it. He's behind Kobe. In fact when you really think about it. I'm not sure if he's top ten. Nobody does that to Mike now. One good argue. You don't do it to Mike because you can't. I would argue you. Don't do it to Mike because you can't do it to Lebron but it's a very different. A some of the Jordan folks are offended. That it's a discussion and another thing. Your network did that. I thought was really interesting. Was that poll. The when it was seventy six percent of the public says Michael Jordan's the greatest player ever and we talked about it on my television show and it was phrased to me is like that. I should be wounded by it and I said I'm be honest with you. I look that is a massive success for me personally because I believe that when I said Lebron's greatest player ever which was June of two thousand sixteen after game seven against the warriors. I think that was a two percent opinion. I think the furthest anyone was going out on the ledge was Lebron. Maybe one day will be and the fact that now one in four basketball fans are like no it's not Jordan. I feel like we're facing the way marijuana legalization paste. It was like five percent support. Then all of a sudden thirty five percent support and before you know it once they win this title and the next one. It'll be like sixty five percent. Yeah he's a go a little bit log. It'd be like if you will the Braga married. Okay got it is not played. I saw the twinkle in your eyes. Get my finger coming for me graduate progress by gradual progress. Absolutely well done I think. Also this is where this gets interesting because you and I are about five years apart in age. I'm five years old. And they'll five years matter a lot in the course of this discussion because it affects the way that you consume my jaw right so like I don't remember a world without Michael Jordan but I do remember world before Michael Jordan the champion like I remember world before everything by around. Yes saying like he's he's famous for two things. Is One of your famous for people. Underrating him and people not liking. You mentioned Sean Kemp. This is not at all. Win that to player ever during win that too and they were doing it was on the anniversary of the starks. Dunk the iconic starks dunk. And so they're doing the top ten playoff dunks ever and number ten was the list blister Shawn Kemp Alton lister in the history on it's all of his and I was like man what could be number one man Jordan's weak little baseline dunk over. You and I'm like you gotta be kidding me man number one year ago he gonNa win that he's going to win. We're going to say that's the greatest playoff dunk ever so I appreciate it. The list and it reminded me of some dunks. I had forgotten including a Kobe dunk from playoffs against the timber. Wolves where he goes baseline does like the nurse that was. I had forgotten about that. That was unbelievable. But when you said Shawn Kemp I immediately thought of the dunk overall lister. Well the number of playoff doug like Jordan. Doug isn't even the number one bulls dunk in playoff history. I really can't think anything that's top. The disrespect typically pippen Yemen. Honestly I feel like we need to go back and relitigate a lot of things with those nineties Knicks because Scottie Pippin Yang. Doing threw him on the ground. I think we might need to relitigate a lot of nine these basketball because it the nineties were over represented in that fifty greatest of the last fifty. Like that's why the Bulls in in the jazz. Were part of the reason they were. Such juggernauts is they. Were some of the only teams with two hall of Famers like people talk about the Knicks. And it's like man. The second best player on that team was a guy who had a fake a broken wrist in order to not get caught in John starks when he first came around and those Pacers seems folks. I'm sorry those were not great teams like because if your best players Reggie H is hard for me to believe. You're a great team with the Davis brothers and the Dunkin Dutchman but a lot of that I think we have to revisit a bit all right so the Pacers working right now on the pedals and so they get to be interesting. So No. That's here's the thing about those pacers and you could say in a similar way the Knicks and this is where I should give him credit even they only had the one hall of Famer they were really well constructed rosters. You had what you needed to fill out the rest of it and I think your point about the aging Mark Jackson still being weapons especially until they made it illegal for the thirteen. Lean back down. Reggie Miller has those twenty five points in the fourth quarter in game five of the Eastern Conference finals in one thousand nine hundred four and he has them against the Orlando Magic. Reggie Miller is not going to hall of Fame Right. He did it against the Knicks at a time where that mattered very much in elevated him to the status of Clutch player that was then reinforced by what he did in the late nineties. Nick Wright on Kevin Durant throwing shade at LeBron, talks paying Dak Prescott and more

"Wanna go to Nick ride on this. Kevin Durant for the second time in two weeks has taken a shot at LeBron James called him toxic plan with LeBron's toxic. And then yesterday mentioned all these great players all time and put kyri in and not LeBron. So Nick, right. First things first, we the cower global satellite network. Let's talk about that. I mean, what what did you make Durand comment? I don't think they're a coincidence. Neck. I think he I think he is deeply bothered that he moved to Golden State won a bunch of titles and people still don't put them above. Lebron? That's my take. There is obviously indefinitely some insecurity factor. As far as what more do you want me to do? I I wanted to finals I won the finals with jump shot a jump shot over LeBron. I won the finals the next year with a jump shot in the exact same place. But as you just said, just objectively speaking, he's not better people who know basketball. No, he's not better. But I also think listening saying Kobe's one of the two greatest players of all time isn't absurdity Kobi's as great as he was not one of the two best players of his era. That's LeBron and Dunkin, but that's neither here nor there but about a year ago. Kevin Durant on one of his many podcasts. Bill Simmons talked about the different way that he and LeBron go about their off-season preparation, and he said something I thought was really telling he said LeBron works on his body. I work on my game. As if he didn't see that. Lebron? Was working on his body in order to prolong how long he can play the game. Because the guys seem mentioned are guys that I understand like whether it's footwork worrying Kyrie's case raw dribbling skill or touch on a jump shot. They all might have something on LeBron will the bronze got on. Everybody is the body. He's put together which has allowed him to not only get to the rim. But to be on injured. I don't think that's something from a basketball perspective Durant, fully respects. Yeah. Because it is obviously the opposite of what he has Durant has made the most anyone could ever make with a muscle massive around what I have which is remarkable feat. But it is not comparable to what we see for most other NBA stars. By the way, there's a rumor today colline Kevin Durant to the clippers again, I'll believe Durant's gonna leave. I don't think he has the guts to leave Golden State because he would get crushed. And if he goes to LA and LeBron gets Anthony Davis and he's on the second best team in LA. It's a bad look for him. I don't buy this move. Do you buy it? Are. So I do think I disagree with you. I think Kevin Durant is going to leave. I think he not only has the guts sleeve. I think leaving could it be the only thing to enhance his standing in the league. But the only thing if he leaves he I believe he can't do or would be crazy to do is injuring to another situation where we don't know who the best player is that. So that means he he's already in one of only a handful of situations. He could be in. We're at teammate is arguably better in Steph. So we can't go to the Lakers. And that also means he can't team up with Kawai Jaanus, Anthony Davis LeBron. That's it. So if if it's about winning championships, obviously should stay in Golden State.
