Two percent completion rate six touchdowns four interceptions as a passer. Seventy seven percent rating or seventy seven rating And it just a four point one touchdown rate so as a passer. He wasn't great as a runner. Obviously he kind of changed their offense and is very exciting But i do think he has a pretty strong chance of really improving from from year one rookie season. Where basically just that. Entire offense was a mass. Like they didn't have any good weapons really Had a lot of injuries on the offensive line and for reference this. Obviously these are apples and oranges. They're not the same player. I went back and looked at lamar jackson's numbers from his rookie season. When he came in later in the season he so his so hurts. Pf passing grade was fifty seven point five. You had hundred and forty eight passing here which is bad. It's actually worse than once which is saying something but reference lamar jackson his rookie year. Fifty eight point six passing grade on one hundred seventy passes on one identical number of passes And then he made a massive job obviously in the next season when they kind of committed to him. Change offense around him. He went from a fifty eight point. Six passing grade two eighty five passing grade in two thousand nineteen and then obviously won. The mvp was you know. This revelation obviously I'm not saying hurts is going to be that guy's gonna. We'd like an mvp or anything like that. But i think all the variables that surrounded him last year It's just it was gonna be hard for any rookie let alone a second round rookie to come in and really kinda like shine So i'm looking at the improvements to his skill group. Think getting healthy jalen. Reagor back in having him in the slot i think is a good fit for him. Devante smith i'm i'm really bullish on. I think he can be Kind of like an immediate impact player as like a go to guy for him They have a couple. You know role player. Type guys. Eggplant outside travis. Fogo showed up at times last year. It was really kind of surprise Maybe maybe it's watkins or or hightower. Kind of stretching feeling outside obviously gutter mile sanders and then offensive line which was really banged. Up throughout the whole season has a chance to make a leap. So basically i'm saying it. There's the big question marks me is obviously what happens with nick. Suryadi the offensive court or the off. The head coach the head coach. So yeah like what is he. What is he bring. Isn't who isn't an offensive coordinator but seems like an offense coordinator serianni saturday telling. Yeah right I guess my the big question for me is what what he'll bring. And what kind of offense design. And whether he'll be really really tailoring it to hurts or trying to do his offense and like make hurts kind of adapt to that. I don't know how that's gonna go. But i think if they are willing to tailor offense around her. It's like do what essentially what the ravens deal with. Marge and i think hurts can make a big jump from vantage point of view. I think he's going to be awesome. But from a real life aboard point of view. I think he has to really improve as passer to like. Really hold onto this job so i'm expecting a big jump from him. I think it's just gonna be really. They're going to be one of the most interesting offenses to me in the nfl. So sorry that was long winded. No i'm excited about hurts. Evan where are we on.
