Why did I do that? Like I had the cake I should. They're just been happy with it and I'm like when did this happen like two weeks ago. Like you realize that you worrying about that for two weeks is worse than if you would have ate the entire. Hi Your cake because now everything you've eaten since that two week you've had the stress because you had a second piece of cake so shame around food is so Israel and and sometimes it's just a matter of like providing some idea of like knowing that you're not always going to choose great and nobody. He has a perfect day. Shit I do this for a living. I never have a perfect day because perfect. So there's no perfect you know there's things that you oh you should have an idea of like some guidelines. Yeah and really people end up getting lost in the details of the perfection and get caught up not having we like spirulina beverage or You know well you know that for some reason that equates hell yeah I can help you get there but you not having. It isn't GonNa make that day right. You know continue to perpetuate yeah poor habits and I think maybe I'll just if I'm feeling that urge maybe it'll just make a different decision just to see what happens. Yeah and sometimes I. It's the other suggestion is to do like a small detour detour right. So that's like a really well groomed path three. Oh like so once you make that decision. You're like tunnel vision into the TAKO versus if you're like you know when I think I'm GonNa make that decision. I'm going to like maybe I'll go for like a maybe I'll take a different way home. Yeah and I still might come home and do the takeout and go all win but it's a little bit of a detour and if you do that enough times your detour become so much further away from the takeout. Yeah that it takes a lot more convincing unseen to end up doing the takeout. You're like actually no. I like took a different way home and then I decided to take a walk and then a water APP. Yeah down you know so. So it's like don't expect overnight. Yeah break I needed on my screen and poison pizza. Yeah Yeah it's a it's true it's like taking agan these little detours so if you know that you have like a weakness take three breaths before you decide to like eat the entire bag of chips. Yeah literally and that sounds weird. You're still eating the entire bag of chips but you're taking a pause between that moment that might allow you an opportunity to choose differently us. That was great stuff anx while I think people are really enjoying these a little tips and tricks from you so I think it can be daunting changes. Yeah I mean change in anything is daunting but when it comes to food it's so personal. It's so personal. There's some satisfaction to it. There's shame there's I mean it's like the ultimate baggage adage dating and food. I now we do it. Well you can find Maria Maria vial dot com. "Thank you for listening. And I hope you enjoy this Nick VO in Kevin Johnson. It's lovely Laura, Nick stuff. Yes. That's always good. Just lovely and Hornets joins us. Now, you wanna you wanna plug the af docs before you do reviews. You wanna do it the other way whatever you want. Gee, I don't care, I left do both. Yes. I- docs, it's on. I'm on my way down there for today and tomorrow and Sunday. It's going to be a lot of fun. Where is that? So if people wanna go, it's mostly at landmark e street, they, they are showing movies at the naval memorial and, and the American history museum. But I just people just go to ASI dot com af I dock, and then get the schedule and download the app and see what's up, but they've got some really good movies this year. So this is three days Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Well actually started Wednesday night that screening national archives. A movie about Bryan Stevenson to the lawyer and activists and it was going on yesterday. But I'm going to dive in, in, in earnest today, last lawyer and activist I knew was William kuntsler. I've never heard of Brian Stevens Bryant has an incredible man. He's, he's the person who really spearheaded the I don't know the formal name it's base. The lynching museum in Montgomery, Alabama, which is just it looks like magnificent structure. And he's been doing a lot of important work around death penalty issues and just rest of Justice and reparation. He's, he's an amazing man. I think he's got the highest rated Ted talk like the longest standing ovation and Ted talk history. Visionary, man. Wow. Ted talk. Listen to as Leonsis. He's got a Ted talk blog. Teaser walking Ted. Let's start with some movies. There's a bunch of movies. We wanna talk for movies one is, and this is not for me. I understand Toy Story, four is not for me. But if you get to four you presume that one two and three did pretty some money or you wouldn't be doing four and two kids movie. Some are kids movie animated. I'm sure how is it? You know, I went in, I don't know if you've noticed every Friday this summer, we're just getting sequels is just the summer of the sequels on that always makes me feel tired and kind of defensive because a lot of them aren't very good. And especially when you get to number four, they're not very they tend to not be very good. So I went in with this to this with managed expectations, and I just thought it was fantastic. That's yeah, it's, it's, it's, you know, for those of us, I can't say, I grew up with Toy Story, but I can relate to people who up onto a story. So it's got all those the favorite characters. Tom Hanks character Woody and Bud Light year voice by Tim Allen, they're here. So it's got that whole enough Daljit factor. That's fine. But they don't just coast on that. And they actually introduce new characters one played by Tony HALE the guy from veep. Yes. Love. Wasn't actor and he doesn't terrific voice performances crazy. Very eccentric. Little character called forty a little toy made out of a sport..

"And we're back in super producer, Nick stuff. Just pointed out he said, the best part of job leg is that it's three hours of that shit. It's three hours three hours. You know? It's funny for a movie that I know certain things about really well. And not seeing it's it's amazing purely off of my love for clear for Lonnie. Did I venture into that field? She's very striking on camera like should've been Jennifer Aniston or like she should have had an amazing career and for us. She did she was in rats, right? And then what else? What else? What else? All right, guys. She'd been another stuff. I don't wanna do that. Oh, this right padded. She was added who she planned the deposit. The chew was the departed. Oh. She's the one that left. Yeah. She was like sorry, boys. I've got it apart is. I love that part. That's amazing. And then Mark Wahlberg? Like what the hell, man? What the hell, bro? You just the pot. You just going to depart like that without telling me, bro. Let's talk about Wisconsin since we're doing the accent already. So Wisconsin restaurants, or a Wisconsin restaurant has banned middle schoolers in this story. Just brought me back to a time in my life. When I was a middle schooler just a shitty middle schooler looking for some grownup behaviors I do with my friends and fucking it up beyond reproach all that. I just had while we were talking about this story. I don't remember Claire Forlani being in the department. I don't either Nick Stumpf. She's not interested parties that's a merry. What's her name? You burn me Stumpf. You're burned us. Let's talk about this Wisconsin restaurant the band middle schoolers. I would have had no place to order water and try and buy cigarettes out of the back like cigarette vending machine, and then fight over a twelve dollar Bill yet my friends had done this. So apparently, Tom's drive in Tom's bucks. That was me. So apparently Tom's drive in in FOX cities. Wisconsin has had it Tom's. You burn me. So they have they put a sign up in their window or on the door. It says middle school students highlighted due to mistreatment of times drive ins property guests and staff, you are no longer inside of the building without parental supervision for those who did not cause any of the incidents. We are sorry for this inconvenience you may still purchase food through the walkup window now. W F R V local five news. They were saying that this has been a problem because the there's just been acting out of pocket. So we're talking. Carving into booths drawing genitalia. With sharpy markers making just a fuck in mess of the restaurant and bathrooms stealing soda. Finding with customers. Yelling profanities at the manager even tattooing. So I think they were using like jailhouse shit reading like when the Dolny the wildest middle schoolers do fresh out to my home grow Sarah who has like a smiley face to this day that looks like a crying circle. And it says, yes. So anyway, these the so the cops aren't even call it. They were just trying to deal with it. And apparently, they just they broke. Yeah. And I get it because if honestly being a young child with no job at a restaurant like as a patron, you do not know how to act first of all. 'cause you're normally for me when I was in a restaurant. I was with my parents. And then the second I'm in their feeling like an adult. Of course, I'm going to act out the dumbest shit while six of us are trying to spend thirteen dollars on fries and then fighting over wondering. Yeah, tuesday. I remember when I went we used to always go to Pizza Hut. Because I lived in Perth in Scotland says like a small town says like one Pizza Hut that like a load all the kids in and we would get all. Was just kind of hang out. And I remember we want we get our like ice cream and pizza and chili flavors parmesan. We'd like put it all in one thing. And it would be like, I bet you twenty pounds..

"We can't wait for people can outweigh shoe develop note, we need people that can play. We gotta go. It's go time and time. And so you know that happen. All the LeBron stuff happened. Then the capper Nick stuff happened. I thought because you have been very pro capital. Are you is part of you disappointed that capper Nick settled? No, I knew you always thought he was going to win big, right? No. Here's maybe this is winning bay. Well, I mean business daily reports it sixty million dollars. I've seen sT million. You had to go to court and your lawsuit. But a big part of your lawsuit was settlement talk wrecked. Leading up to always always think that especially what you know. Now, you would have preferred a settlement, particularly a settlement. That would that would have turned out what you ended up winning. Anyway. Sure. So I think capper Nick may have looked at this is hey, I could walk away with nothing or it could leave. Now, sixty million thing. Everybody knows now. The only thing we don't know is the exact dollar amount. We know that they conspired against him. We know that there was collusion. Among the owners, and by the way, right? But there's a different wean we think that, but they they would've had to prove it like I I would again use your case. I went to your case for a couple of days and after two hours sitting in your case, I went oh my God. Mason is right. I mean, he's they've got him. But you had to prove it, right? What's the hard part? But is you always knew even before your you went to try, and I think capper Nick knew even before he went to trial that he had a really good collusion case. Right. Just like you. But proving it is is the mount although that climbing the mountain is HANA at so easy up until you guys one. I don't think you know. You never know. What think I think just what you just said? I think that's what capture Nick and is attorney slot. They thought you know, we've got this. We've got him just like you did accept proving it and enrolling the dice on a jury is completely different. Let's take the money. And I've heard that capture Nick is being criticized for not standing on principle. But that's unrealistic because I think he did sue the NFL. They never settle correct key got him to settle and now is sixty million. Do it everyone in. Here's an here's the thing about it. And I didn't I didn't realize this. So collusion, a popular word these days collusion doesn't mean that every owner had to be in on it. It means exactly two had to be. And that's a really good point. I mean, only two owners had to say, Nope. Let's not do it to be one Email between two owners that said let's nine not signed capper, Nick because of this and. I think that the reason the NFL settled when they never settle think about it. They they they they took the US F L to court. They took Tom Brady to court eight hundred pound gorilla. Yeah. They they don't believe for the most part in settling. But I think what you talked a lot in your case. And what they I think feared the most was the thing. You dreaded was discovery discovery sat in every case at that. Not only in you told me when you were going through this. They basically in a in a discovery situation could have right gone to every NFL owner. Right. And said said, we want your Email me, your Email, and what your inbox. We want your text messages. Correct. Right. And even if it wasn't germane to the cabinet case. Right. That puts it into discovery, right? And think about that thirty two owners used to getting whatever they want who knows what's in their Tex-Mex..

"Mike McCarthy doesn't want to be considered and isn't pursuing any other head coaching vacancy other than the one for the jets. You think he put that out there? Because no other teams were interested in Mike McCarthy. We it's like a staredown. At mccarthy's. I want to show undying loyalty to the tractive of the jets job. No rogue and include something in your sportscenter Brown's name. Freddie kitchens. Head coach Gregg Williams has been relieved of his duties. Well, but he's got the act. He's got seventeen other jobs that offered him that were offered them without him, even sending a resume you'll be hosting the Oscars for all the latest headlines and information tune in the sportscenter audience bien radio all throughout the day. So we lost Rodney Harrison, but we've got other things to talk about. Permanently Rodney's five. There are other reports here. Now, I'm curious because I don't know how many people are interested in this. Eric read story. Here's what's happening around here that I find interesting, right? We fifteen years ago we were doing a lot of race talk around here. And we did it a lot and people got tired of it. It was polarizing and over many many years we continued to do it defiantly. And there is no one who's going to talk me off of the position. If I see someone who has been wronged that we are not to talk about race that person doesn't exist at this company or anywhere else. But what has happened over the years is now everyone's talking about it and everybody got worn out by the capper, Nick stuff. Even if you were black you might get worn out by the amount of coverage where people just saying the same thing there was not. There was not an advancement in the conversation. It was just it was almost. Six months of the same thing at every turn. And so you get to a point where Eric Reid is a symbol for just about everything that's going on with race relations in this country because his opinion Eric read hear what you have happening in front of you this guy. Was it the knee of Colin Kaepernick? He did the same things Colin Kaepernick, did and it didn't make any sense whatsoever. That he wasn't the in the league when the league started playing games this season and Knicks not in the league. And while I don't want to argue about any of that anymore. It's fairly obvious. What's happened with Colin Kaepernick? Yes. It's just obvious to everybody. We can argue about all you want. But it's pretty obvious that he has been punished for his stance or it's not even a stands for his Neal. He has been punished for that. Scenario you arrive in this place where Eric Reed gets like this answer Larry racial stain as dangerous guy different position. Now, his fame is not going to be a voice and face for your team. Carolina panthers. Need to safety is a couple of games in the season. They sign up and now he's doing one of the things in public. That these organizations don't want near their huddle by publicly stating again, and again that the NFL is targeting him for drug testing. And so what you get today is the fairly unique gesture of the people who represent Eric Reid. And the people who represent the NFL put together a joint statement. Where they buried Eric reads truth. I know how Eric Reid arrived at that position. It's fairly obvious. How if any of us feared that's a young, man. It's a proud, man. It's a man who's excellent at his work. And man who just saw what happened to his friend after he knelt right by his name, his friend, Colin Kaepernick, gone. Just call on from football. You saw how it happened? He spent the first few weeks of this season seeing how it would happen. Hell, yeah. I think every around every corner there was somebody out to get me. Like, he's got a persecution complex, and he's been persecuted right now, there are reports where it was he said seven times at eleven weeks, and now people are disputing people know, the NFL, Ian Rapoport is reporting that in this report, this is this is not a normal thing, the NFL and NFL PA don't make joint statements like this where a players getting buried, and what's obvious in the statement because they have to talk around the drug confidentiality issues. What's obvious in the statement is they're saying his facts are wrong. And when you can pound on the facts, you pound on the facts, and now they leak because they can't because they cannot say things publicly in Rappaport, just talk to somebody what's in the report. And now nobody's got their name on it. And now we're going to violate the drug policy now. Both of these things can be true. That's exactly what a smear campaign would look like against the against somebody who was targeted where the NFL would which would get the NFL PA to endorse their positions. So we could just bury this player quietly. But it's also true. It can also be true. That reads got his facts wrong on this that he has exaggerated the number of times he was tested because again, he feels at every turn in every corner not just in his huddle, not just in his locker room not just walking through any place in that league headquarters for the Commissioner anywhere in America. That black dude goes he's taking the black past with him. And why wouldn't he sit here and feel like he's being targeted? Whether it's factual or not, of course, he wouldn't very few people had suffered more from this position than that. Dude has the facts are wrong. It doesn't mean he's not getting targeted. But if you're agreed you have to get those facts. Basic simple facts right to get the NFL PA behind you to get behind that wrong. I know it can be both things though. It can be that his message is otherwise sound and things like this diluted because man when the NFL PA put their name on that right there representing him like your agent that like you're you're in a public controversy and your agent NFL PA exists to protect the player the agent siding with. Citing publicly putting their name on a joint statement. They're telling you, hey, the drug thing is supposed to be confidential. But. This. What happened today? Somebody tell me I'm wrong. Somebody explain to me what a missing what the blind spot is did the two organizations like when do when does the NFL feel the need to come out and address these things with fax like since when you got in the facts support their case owner saying pray for us when he's thinking about getting near tapper, Nick. The pray for us. These things don't normally get dressed by the NFL in any way. Why are they addressing it now because it's an incredibly serious accusation? I know, but it's been an accusation for weeks. It's actually be it's well it's been for years. In fact, it's tied up in litigation. Yeah. But they got the facts on the desired right here. This is another layer. Because this accusation doesn't just affect Eric Reid. If they're doing that with Eric Reed. Then the NFL PA has a problem with all their players. Because if I'm another player, I'd be worried that this could happen to me, man. They have to know that his facts are wrong, stugotz, because what the NFL PA would do if I were a black player in that league. And the NFL PA did that. How do you think I'm gonna feel like a black a passionate black player in that league? How do you think I'm gonna feel about what my agent betrayed? Yeah. You're not gonna feel feel very good about it. But you're even go back to you and say, hey, man, get your fact Stratus correct that you have. But what I would just say to you is. Him being wrong about this does not make him wrong about everything. Oh, but it's going to be lifted up by the people that oppose that's fine. Right again. That's where we are. Return, Mike, those people aren't going to change their mind. Anyway, you're not going to sway those people. In fact, there are any number of people listening to this right now who don't agree with anything. I said, even though it's a muddled mix of stuff that you might have expected and some of it's different than what you might have expected, and it just, Nope. I disagree with that. But I agree with that. Because that's how I think. And then we get into these situations where like people and white people are fighting, and this particular guy is feeling like he's being targeted by the man and the man just crushed him when it came to these particular facts like the crush himself though, Dan. That's I think that's what a lot of people are saying, I don't even know if I disagree. I'm not saying he's not being my guess is. He is. But you can't get that fact if you read into it they crushed him. But they can't come out and say it, even though Dan read into it and took it can't actually do what it would take to crush him publicly because a lot of people who side with air. Are just gonna hold up. Yeah. There's a conspiracy. But those aren't conversations that are advancing anything. That's just I mean, very few of very few of the conversations around any of this in this country for ever had actually done anything. Right. We're having the same conversation. He hasn't actually how much has been fixed..

"I think people think we sit around blowing smoke. I've said to you. I disagree with capper, Nick stuff. Asian you've disagreed and had different takes on many things. I've said nobody feels threatened by it. I wouldn't isn't that the that's I always thought that's one of the reasons I like being a trial lawyer that I not just like that. I thrive on is. I like getting in and being adversary. I enjoy it and my father. I remember you came back once pops you this judge judge. I said, what's he goes? I I start getting into the prosecutors when pops was on the defense side, and the judge Mr. Gary police approach, and and brought up in the prosecutor said, yeah, I want to just tell you. I I don't really like this kind of contentiousness Michael father said you're in an adversarial system like contentiousness, and you're the judge maybe you ought to think about a different line of work. Yeah. You know? So I enjoy it. What it's all about. Well, you know, it's about I think not internalizing it. If I disagree with you or you disagree with me. I don't think it's because you don't like me. I think it's because you disagree with what I'm saying. And you have a different opinion. And sometimes I'm right? And then other times, I can be coached up and learn new things I and I would hope that if I was sitting around talking about how Kavanagh's yearbook was an intensely dangerous to to my to my virgin is I would hope you would pipe up and go what's the big wolf? It's just the yearbook and in versa without forbid. I'd like to burn all of my yearbooks. But the there's an interesting thought also because I used to talk about this with pops because he was notoriously characterized as. Not liking women in the law. And that wasn't it. If you talk to him about it his beef with women of his generation in the lawn. He would be in his nineties if he was still alive was that most of the younger female, he's would always hold a grudge. Like if he was in there doing battle in the courtroom. He was used to in his day now mind, you guys were white basically in the law, and and his ilk, they could go have a drink whether they after after a case I used to tell him I thought one of the greatest aspects of title nine was not giving equal funding to women's sports. Because that was what was going to be washed. No, I thought it was great because it showed women how to compete and be able to compete and then have that kind of corrupt come roddenbury with your opponent afterwards. I thought it was one of the reasons I always wanted to compete and she. Did in in in sports because there's something about competitive sports that teaches you that you can be, you know, a magic bird kind of thing you can be a mortal enemy on the court, but you can get off the court and and get along. You don't have to carry the grudge with you. If that makes sense. It's very interesting point. I'm glad you sort of added genitalia to the mix. And I'll tell you why. I'm very serious about this women and men are different and they have different temperaments and those temperaments served society in different situations. One could argue that a male temperament might be better in the heat of battle and a woman's temperament might be better after someone was injured in battle, and they needed to be taken care of their many different sort of applications that Lynette has and that I have and there's they don't cross that much the guy you want to go do this. And then she's who you want to go do that. So I've been saying to our mutual friend..

Would you go out into the woods have a picnic lunch anywhere in India? You'd be nuts. If you did because you get killed by something there's all kinds of things there that want to kill you. I like my meat to come in a styrofoam white styrofoam container with shrink wrap plastic over the top. And anyway, I got this text from a buddy of mine Duffy's listening right now. But he was he showed me this elk looked like he shot a triceratops. I mean, huge dinosaur size, and he shot it with a single shot. Muzzle loader rifle from quite a distance. That's how good this guy is. I know I know he's lethally sniper. But he picked he texted me a picture of this. And I said, I think that's where are you? And he was in the top of Idaho, Idaho has like stick like thanks to the Texas panhandle but going north. And south as opposed to well, Texas, Panos north and south to buy. But I digress. And he's up there. And he and he shot that. Oh, can I thought that was really cool probably need a front loader to get the thing out of there. Yeah. I'm. I'm deep woods aversive. Now, if you're gonna deep woods, and I've been in the deep woods. But if you're gonna go you better be weaponized. That's what yesterday's show is all about you'd better be weapons. "I what is trying to do is. Very simple. He's got himself a big prison, and he's trying to get a much lesser sentence by making up the story. Now, here's the thing. Even if he was right? It doesn't matter because I was allowed to do whatever I wanted to the campaign. I was running my business a lot of different things during the campaign. So very simply Michael Kohn has lying and he's trying to get a reduced sentence for things that have nothing to do with me. So even if he's telling the truth and the truth being thing that I have lied about. It doesn't matter because I was allowed to do that too. Because well when cheated when you hung up the phone like that, we were broken up in my mind. That's why did that right? He's says the The oil oil thing thing. you was lying about was shit on behalf of him. So. He's he's saying he has a huge jail sentence. Right. You're like what he was doing for him. And then he goes, well, he's weak because then he's I'm assuming referencing people like Paul Manafort who have just been lying to Robert Muller in in his investigation and just being like, yeah, I'll fucking bury me under the jail. Yeah. And then because he thinks he's getting a partner something he's getting important. I maybe a one hundred percent one hundred percent going down Manafort is getting away with all of this. I mean, we'll see though because supervisor Nick stuff, I think we're all talking about this about how him and like Jerome courses of the world, if they think like Trump is going to come in save them like when he has so many other things going on that might not be a deal worth taking. I think Michael Cohen knowing Trump was like I'm not count on this do for a fucking pardon checks on anyone. So it's a very very sticky situation. So the other weird thing about what Trump was saying was he was like, listen. To what he said to congress earlier, and he's that truth, then Rudy Giuliani makes a statement is like well this motherfuckers alive. No wonder he lied to congress. And that's he's. So they can't even get their fucking mess. Man stresses me out is like a kid who would lie a lot. This very stressful like when the shift starts falling apart. And you're like, oh, y'all didn't even do it. Right. The lazy version of telling your mom, you're going to this person's house when you really, you know, getting fucked up some other place. So the other interesting thing that I will point out as I point out many interesting things I've said like nine times is that like everyone's trying to. I mean, the White House are like the the line about this all these meetings was about some Trump Tower Moscow deal or whatever when that's a weird thing. Like, you were doing all this legwork for a deal for a building that failed. When the stakes on the other side is that Russia would want Trump to be president to change our foreign policy. It's just odd. Like, the reasoning is weird. Like was there even a Trump Moscow deal or was that money Oded language for something? You know, what I mean like that the greater scheme because clearly our foreign policy has shifted since Trump is taking office in terms of Russia. He can't say a bad fucking thing about Putin ever. He's been trying to like at every turn doing the most tepid sanctions and trying to reverse them or suggesting eliminating the sang. So he's not like there's tower Russia is code for their solidarity. Standing tall together at? It's like me out the western readies. I help you out with whatever you some financial trouble, or whatever I'll make you president you start, you know, just turning a blind eye to when I'm just committing open acts of Gretchen against other sovereign nations. And then which is funny because then right after that Trump, basically cancelled his meeting that he was gonna have with Putin in when Itis teen public meeting, they're not I think they're gonna have a working lunch or think-i to Helsinki to. And if and Robert mother did the same shit when he was about to meet with Putin. The last time of dropping like indictment announcements maybe just a frame road all these interactions. Look like he's like, oh, yeah..

"Kept like doing things that are like flagrantly against the rules of any company like trying to start his own company and hire people away and like talking using the information he was getting using the, and that's what the lawsuit was over. And they were making the point that like usually like people are allowed to steal information from their previous employer, and that's actually helped Silicon Valley progress so much because rather than having. Like shit on lockdown. You can one company could own the whole thing. You right. One company gets a bunch of information. But then another company like has branches off because one employee like Steve Jobs, stole most of his best inventions. He just put them all together and very attractive way. But. But he, but anyways, this guy just keeps getting bailed out by Larry page. I think one of the heads of Google just because and it's like clear that he's like very charmed by this guy. And who is has no charms whatsoever. But is a very like abrasive -ly ambitious tech person. Like, somebody was like, yeah. I wanna make one hundred million dollars off of this. And he like looks at them with pity. And it's like, dude, I'm going to be a billionaire by the end of this that sort of asshole just keeps keeps bailing him out. Because it's like, yeah. Of course, you empathize with that. Dude. That is you like or who you want to be right? I wish I could be this. Right. That's you ten years ago. And so you just it to people that he likes right, right? Yeah. He's messing with. Yeah. So you have the self reinforcing culture of like men mattering to the men above them. And then. Yeah, nobody's going to like not only are they not going to have a seminar where women. Get to like talk to people and be like, this is how you north to us. This is how you should talk to us. Like, I don't think those like perspectives get respected just in a day to day minute Shah sort of way right now because they don't see that. Yeah. It's like those dudes are okay. Here's a good example is like when you get involved with the court system. You learn those lawyers judges everyone's playing different. They're playing game. Right. The consequences are book and series. Yes. But they're playing a game essentially because they have to do certain things or certain rules. And that's when I realized like, oh, that's why I like comedy because my game is fun when it's like upsetting or anything. It's still like it's still jokes. Right. You know what I mean? And those dudes that level they don't see people as people anymore, right? And they're playing weird games. Yeah. With each and it's like, it's ideally why we have checks and balances in our government set up. But it's been hijacked, and we need to fix it. So we're producer Nick stuff pointed out that this dude, Andy Rubin might just have dirt on these killed him. Hey, remember when we were hunting homeless guys from helicopters. Well, no, no. Yeah. Let's let's maybe give me a ninety million dollars to go away quietly. Just kaley. Hunt humans. You could. Yeah. Two for five. Yeah. I know do there in the hills. It'd be like how much. Yeah. My daughter might do. To make he'll that man for for. And finally, avocado toast is officially the fuck over is it I think this might be death. Now fort you, I'll support that state coming. I like avocado toast. You can't you can't argue with the the combination. I think it's when you see it for fucking nine hundred dollars. When you're putting.

"You've been playing football life firm and really prior up into you retired and all this capper Nick stuff run. I watched football religiously, like football, such a big part of our life. And I, I like football because you can kind of. Is relatable everyday life. And so they're terminologies in things that I that I can use an and it is team sports. They do teach kids things I would agree. So I do think that there that are really, really important immigrant and I don't think you can discount making people feel good. I don't think that should have. I, I know I think we do place as a society. I will say this that I think we do place an overwhelming amount of emphasis on entertainers, but society is largely driven by black culture. And so right now, that's where the six Tema world world. But so right now, that's where the successes and I really do think that's a large part of why the emphasis there. However, that's kind of my point, but I don't think you can take away from. We need to. I think we as a people need to control those images more. I think we as people need to maybe how we kind of kind of trickle that back down into positive aspects of the neighborhood needs to be conversations you, you've literally made people smile. I mean, I mean, yeah, I just don't end and that essence. I mean in that aspect, I understand what you're saying. It's not like I'm not. Okay. I I, there is no other way to say other than just say, I'm I'm devalue in the work that I put in because I understand what it what I did, but I just don't deem my ex-professional valuable. I don't, and it's my worldview, Mike worldview in it. I don't look at Athy like even even music, you know, put out, I don't. I don't look at that. Why that's actually a little different, but but like to the point it was like, when that whole kind you was the buckle took off, right. I- arguable constantly of Joe just hit a cat out and the reason why people are so passionate about is because they put Cayenne pedestal of like, Joe, he represents blackness..

"Because While it might be true and while it is true that the, massive massive revenues that have been. Distributed. To each of the teams in the National Football League are record breaking it does not mean that the NFL is being affected in a negative fashion by. All. Of the things societal and political that. Are involved in the league so the thing that you've got to watch here is again these are locked in TV deals okay these these are contracts the money's need to be paid there's no way out of that okay and these contracts that were signed. With these various networks were signed at a time before this all this stuff ramped. Up in particular the the anthem stuff in the capture Nick stuff in the raised fists and and all this crap, okay Keep your eye on what happens. After the twenty twenty one season because that's going to be something that will I think show that. The National Football League is not going to be nearly as valuable it'll still be a valuable product to all of the networks but it's. Not going to be nearly as valuable and I will be shocked not just surprised I'll be shocked if the next round of television stations see the. National Football League in receipt of as much money as they received in their current deal with the television networks that they're getting they're not going to get. What they what they're getting right now I can tell you, that right now okay you've seen. Falling. Television, ratings you've seen attendance issues you've seen people who. Have kicked the National Football League. Out. Of their their living rooms so the trends for all of this don't look particularly good for the NFL so don't be dissuaded don't, be fooled by the fact that the NFL distributed record-breaking revenues to, all teams in the league as. Evidence And and a sign that perhaps all these things that people talk about hurting the NFL really. Aren't hurting the NFL after all nothing could be further from the truth nothing could be further from the truth Twelve forty four inside our number one gotta take our second break of this hour come back on the. "Capper nick stuff and i and is is at an accurate assessment no think yet nobody would really disagree i think the nba is foreign away the more progressive i think of any sports league i would even say baseball probably more conservative than the nfl is in some ways hitting the nfl wears it on their sleeve a little bit more transparently you know with the the of the military tian's and the patriotism and all that is which they pay for and and let's say is also a relatively new phenomenon yo this is really only something that sort of popped up in the last few thousand nine and there is a lot of money behind the so yeah there's as an all things follow the money um but but the nba's this sort of been at the forefront of this anything think it hasn't been a mistake that the warriors themselves have been at the forefront we've seen not to steve kerr the last year by think we saw during this recent training camp the lot of the warriors themselves were speaking up steph curry was talking about you know e t i have actually donald trump you know mentioned steph curry by name it was not a small situation by any means you know he hasn't mentioned steve curry as missing gregg popovich but he's curry by name and so you can see how the warriors have gotten themselves into this cultural discussion but but that's the result of the culture that they have fostered four years inside of this organisation there's some weird magic going on here i mean as a as a exemplified by the other night when you know curry kick that ball and from seventy five feet of kicked it in a went seventy of that was going to happen ram hugo you've been around towards enough to know that sometimes these weird things coalesce yeah um you know with basketball and and looking at all these other sports um i just i don't know if they if it's getting one big man now seems like this it it's changed in phnom positional flexibility added.
