"Tom. The Benedetto has returned and it's his birthday. Tommy's birthday. We have a little surprise for him. Coming up in about 20 minutes is pretty exciting. Maybe we'll get him a cake thing was song. I don't know It's pretty. It's a pretty big day here on the show. If you want to wish Tom, a happy birthday producer underscore, Tom. Great, Joe. Great Show planned for you on the program. Don't know if you caught that Nick's Sons game last night. It was a great game, and the Knicks winning streak came to an end against the Phoenix team that I've talked a lot about being a big believer in and throughout the course of the game, especially the 3rd and 4th Quarter. Good game. Close game. Knicks were a big, I think, 50 No. One point Son shipped away eventually got the wind. It just felt like A test for the Knicks, because I do think Phoenix is a real contender. And Chris Paul. Utterly and totally took over That game, scored Phoenixes last seven points in a huge dagger of a three hitter, ridiculous Rainbow. Sky falling backwards. A nick glued on him two point here. That was absurd. And want to find a way to talk to you about Chris Paul today in an interesting way and insightful way and Sam and he's gonna feel fit that Bill for us. Sam, NBA writer for the athletic will join us in our did a deep dive on Chris Paul spent some time on the phone with Chris Paul. Suppose Mom is in the background of the story. Chris Paul's taken shots, the thunder and the guys that it's It's all good I loved. It was so Chris Paul Don't have that conversation about an hour from now we'll do MLB power rankings. At the end, probably of this hour we will get into showing Otani And what a mesmerizing talent. I'm going to have to come up with new ways to express my all for a player that is doing things that we have never seen before. I got to go back to Babe Ruth and we weren't around for that. That was a minute ago. And I'm gonna tell you in 15 or 20 minutes if there's time around the birthday shenanigans for Tommy over here. About Ah, player in the MBA who I find myself rooting for aggressively because what it says about second chances, and the ability not to give up will do that as well. Lot of stuff planned for you. Uh, well, we're gonna start the Niners. Don't mind arrogance. I like arrogance. Give me all putting in people but What it does produce in your relationships in the athletes we talk about in the athlete that I have to cover it and talk about here on on national radio show is some candor. Arrogant people tend to say exactly what they think. Even when they should And Kyle Shanahan is an arrogant man. And I mean that in a good way, You know, I once wrote a column about Tom Creen when he was in Indiana and called him arrogant and and coach, Um I wrote the column it was at. I think we're in Des Moines, Iowa, at a N C double A think was the opening round of the N C W tournament didn't know Tom. And ask the questions in the press conference a few days later, and he just bolted over afterwards and got pretty close. My personal space you want to argue about whether he was arrogant, took three or four or five or six or eight months for us to talk in our bodies. But I said to him that and I'll say it now. I don't think it's put down. I'm arrogant. A lot of the boyar againt college and hands arrogant. And sometimes that arrogance result in some serious serious honesty and some serious, serious oddity. And we're gonna get in the boat because I'll play this here in a second, but I want I want to set it up. As I'm sure you're aware The Jaguars under Urban Meyer going to draft Trevor Laurence. The Jets. Or Zach Wilson are going to draft Zach Wilson. And the Niners moved up to three. Where they're going to take a quarterback, and it's really one of several possible guys. Justin Fields, obviously is the I think universally. Endorsed picked by the talking heads, but the sense has been maybe will be Mack Jones. Maybe Trey Lance. Several guys that could Be in the mix. And Pal Shannon. Talked about it. And I believe this that the notion you'll you'll hear it here that when they went up to three, there were three guys they liked and the possibility of five and they're not sweating it. Because they feel like there's a bunch of choices. They put themselves in a position to bring in that organization. We made this decision. We knew that there were there were five guys that we thought we felt that we'd be okay were taken. Um, you know, we knew that there was three at the time. Exactly. That's why we thought three was a good spot to go toe. Do we know exactly who we want? Maybe probably, But maybe not. I don't feel like Don't feel like we need to say that, And that's not just for our case, but like Lots of stuff happens between now and the draft and I don't you don't want the whole league knowing exactly what you're set on four days before the draft. One of the things that I find annoying about the NFL draft is the way in which everyone acts like it's sports talk.

Trevor Laurence Tom Creen Chris Paul Trey Lance Tom Mack Jones Sam Kyle Shanahan Justin Fields Pal Shannon Zach Wilson Knicks Indiana five guys Phoenix three guys Joe 15 Urban Meyer 20 minutes

"Info again. Text the word radio. Three five zero zero zero as the largest and oldest tech. Show's back it. As here's chris. Grave line historic passed in nineteen seventy one the funk stallone was officially renamed internationale funk out stallone or ifa in short with exhibitors from all over the world philips and grundig showed the prototype of the world's first video cassette recorder based on the vcr standard. The tape was housed in a cassette with two loops of tape. One on top of the other a timer and alarm clock was built in and recording. Time was up to an hour. That's this week's for update brought to you by berlin. Be sure to visit. Ifa dash berlin dot com. Be sure to do just that now. Nick son who is the ceo and founder of future candy and innovation agency from hamburg. Germany had an interesting. Ifa talk and of course our team that was covering audio and video for us in berlin captured. His talk and one of the more interesting keynote titles at he for this year was called from jesus to hyperloop this was part of the shift mobility event and it certainly caught our attention. It was presented. As i mentioned by nick. Amon the ceo and founder of future candy. He says there are. They are an innovation agency and in his talk he discussed the past present and future of the travel industry. Two thousand years ago the everett's person in its entire life span only lift in the radio of one hundred fifty kilometers. Jesus christ only moved around in a radius of one hundred fifty kilometers and last year. We could take plane. They are still. It only took us forty five hours to get around the club and there was also because of one plane that being discontinued this year. The seven. Four seven from boeing the plane that frank the world so mobility is one of the main things in our entire life. It means everything. Trevor ed mobility is one of the main needs of human beings and of course the travel industry is one of the oldest around and like many industries it continues to evolve once an industry is bone it never ceased to exist. It's always continuing the only important vestiges. The technology changes so here. We had in the beginning in the eighteen. Hundreds we'd railroads and now we have hyperloop so transportation and mobility is very dynamic sector now and then but the main problem of all of us here in our brains and minds. we have fifty years of advertising. Spend from the from the car industry fifty years. The kind of stories have told us we have to own a car. So this is why we all still desire many of us still desire to buy. But i say this changing i say now here onstage. In three years time more and more people would say. I spend eight thousand euros or dollars. I spent on owning aqa every year. I take this money and spend it on other things is scooters bikes cast herring all these other things one of the things. Nick related the mobility industry to is entertainment. And the fact that the more choices we have the more we will take advantage of so in the one thousand nine hundred seventy s people have spent only three hours consuming media and now in the two thousand people spend ten hours an average day in germany using media unbelievably and that is because of more and more platforms we had internet. We had more by streaming platforms. We had the moment time people consume media. We formerly only had the car the public transport the plane the bike and walking. Now we also have cast hearing. We have east scooters. We have a. We have bike sharing. We have all these new new inventions and they were mak- small mobile and so we all benefit from this the more fragmented view the be the more mobile. We will be boy. it's too bad. He wasn't excited. He also talked about other ways. The industry is evolving like the fact. In light of the pandemic certain new careers have popped up. You need to employ hygiene engineers like this guy raymond wing. You need to take people like him on board because you need to think. What do i do actually with air assault inside my means of transport with the surfaces. How do they clean themselves here. This guy he invented a new sucking system inside the cabin of an app play so is a person sneezes in an airplane you see that all the germs and the aerosol get sucked out in the bottom of the seats so that's why no one can get affected just by some alvin. Today's reimann vang invented this and that's people who beat inside. Your business is now because the consumer would pay for hygienic. Clean mean of transport. One problem many of us living in larger cities have is of course traffic. The sheer number of cars in cities like new york los angeles even here in miami causes a huge headache. One solution nick offers is a whole new way to plan cities. The reason why we all have cars is because the city planning was designed like so. Now it's really in for the western world too old to own a car because most cities were designed in the sixties after the second world war. So but the problem is is is of course. It takes a lot of space to other people in the car. The people on the bike to the people in in a bus all in a train. You can see how much clever it would be to have. Everyone fitted into a train. Yeah we see that because of the new cities new transport able to completely new city planning now even the united states where we have a lot of car owners and users sites for for for bike has gone up hundred thirty percent. You can't buy a bike anymore in an us bike store because they all sold out. Nick wrapped up his address by talking about the future of the mobility industry namely the hyperloop. That we've all heard about for a few years now. Many companies including one owned by elon. Musk are working on making this mode of transportation of reality and soon future never stops. Yeah from jesus to hyperloop three years time. We will have the first hyperloop tracks in india. There's eight hyperloop companies in the world. One is an abu dhabi. One is in india and the other side of the united states and canada and the first one starting. It will be in india if you do that. We have new new mobility concepts coming up when we have the hyperloop in three years time. You can take a means of transport whenever you want here. This guy he has to go from abu dhabi to dot ca and he just goes to the train station to the hyperloop stage whenever he wants and then from abu dhabi dubai and whatever he arrives his pot will be put into one hyperloop and then he gets sent off. So that's why there's no no arriva times that you have to know schedule you have to follow. You can go in hyperloop ever you want to. So this is the world we will be entering suit. And then i can go from cologne to walk in one thousand nine minutes now. I need four hours in a train or in a car or even plain including check out time and chicken in times twenty nine minutes from the city center. The city's center. That's let me finished with one thing. What does all this mean. It's your job to restart. Our industry go out. Tell the message become.

"All got that voice in our head that tells us we can't do stuff but some people are just better at not listening to 'em by sitting down with those people asking them questions and then courting in blasting it out on the Internet. Perhaps maybe I can help other people like me get out of our own guys. Welcome back to closure optional my guest. If this week is the wonderful and exciting and confusing nick son he is <hes> fuck. Where do we even start with? He's probably one of the most interesting and strange and cool L. and funny and silly people that I know he was a comedian for about thirteen years around Australia and has also now taken the last couple years off to do some pretty intensive psychedelic plant medicine training and now he's doing chee gone. I think you pronounce it and all kinds of other shit. He writes for medium and and also <hes> has youtube channel where he posts all kind of wacky videos about cool shit he is a creative in my opinion one of the most creative and interesting people that I've ever met and it's a good thing for him terrible thing for him because anything that comes out of the creative rooms it's chaotic and confusing and rife with self doubt and I suppose feeling isolated lonely and lost and he seems to be managing agnes pretty well in his own way now doing what he's doing up in Darwin so this is a great conversation I have spoken to nick before on this podcast so you can go in have listened to that when he was here once before but this is a really fun conversation we I went to catch up with him. outwear his retreat was where he studying ci going right now and so we just went into a meadow as the sun was going down in late in the grass and talk to each and recorded the conversation so it was very a funny and strange chat talk a lot about coming on people's faces and some deep philosophical ideas about the nature of being and why not because we can as my fucking podcast and I could do whatever I want and I love that thank you so much for listening as always I'm off to America soon so I will have one more podcast for you before I go and then a couple of American guests while I'm overseas and then I'll be back in action as per normal and hopefully having a live podcast for for you plan coming up very soon. Over one hundred and third innings holding opposition opposing batters to a two or three batting average while posting an impressive zero point nine eight whip. You know what I love about this in nowhere? This little bio of his does it mention win loss records, I've made a vow on my show on ESPN fifteen thirty two never mentioned a pitchers win loss record because it is a terrible metric, and there is nothing about his win loss record here, he is the first picture taken in this year's draft mentioned, twenty one years old, a lefty, and we'll hopefully between now and nine o'clock at a chance to chat with Nikola velo first round draft choice of the reds, seventh over all the consensus that I'm getting from following people on Twitter who really follow this stuff is good pick of fine pitcher, maybe not quite as sexy, if you will, of compared to the last three first round choices the reds, which you go back to Nick sons L, that's paying early dividends hundred green, who unfortunately has paid no dividends to the reds, but was for a lot of people a no brainer with the second overall pick last year. Jonathan India, third baseman from Florida, who is currently. In the red system right now. And recently has been doing quite well anyway, Nick Novello the pitcher from TCU first round draft choice of the red seventh overall, hopefully get a chance to spend a couple of minutes. Chatting with him between now and nine o'clock. You know, we were talking before somebody calling up, it's, it's really hard to kind of figure out where the reds are going next. I don't think it is. I don't think it really is. And I talked about this, and people take it as all you just want to blow the team up. I don't wanna blow the reds up at all a part of the plan. This year was the most likely of the three scenarios either the reds are going to be terrible. Okay. Or great. The most likely scenario was okay. Chances are they're going to win more games than they did the last four years. And there's a good chance. That's the case, chances are the reds won't win enough games to contend for anything. I think you've had to have eighty seven wins minimum sense, the reds since the second wildcard team was instituted in two thousand twelve eighty seven wins for the reds to finish with eighty seven wins, they'd have to go sixty and forty three that, that doesn't seem like I hope it happens, but it doesn't seem likely so barring that it big part of the plan was, we got a bunch of dudes who are not going to be here or at least not under contract next year. And so I think the prevailing thought for the front office was we might have a chance around the trade deadline. To get younger to add to our pipeline of prospects or to even add guys who are already at the big league level, but who are controllable, and maybe that involves the SEO, maybe that involves a Jose Iglesias maybe that involves a Jared Hughes or David Hernandez. Maybe it involves a scooter genetic or Alex wood or a ten ten a Roark this team went into the season with a lot of guys who are not under contract for next year. You don't have to trade all of them. In fact, you can re-sign some of them, I'd be more than happy if a reasonable contract, Jose Lacey's was here, but the job, he's done at shortstop. I heard Marty say it on the radio broadcast yesterday for the second time I've heard him say this. That is a guy that you would pay to watch play. He is that good defensively and he's been far from zero at the plate. But the bottom line is the reds do have a lot of guys who really don't project to be major parts of this team. Whatever it's good again. But. That's not blow it up. That's add to what they already have because the crux of this team for me for as much fun as Derek Dietrich has been that as much fun as we can be the, the real meat of this franchise right now is this core of guys who are already here who look like they could be the nucleus of a club that in a couple of years could be quite good next season. Barring something totally unforeseen. The reds we'll have a one two at the top of the rotation. That includes Louise castio and sunny, gray, by the way sunny grant, roughly ten mil per year for the next three years. I think is a pretty good bargain. They will have playing somewhere centerfield or somewhere else. They will have Nick sends out. They will have a you Haney Suarez who might be the face of the team right now and is arguably their best player and yes, they'll still have Joey Votto who at the very least start to hit a little bit recently. The minor league level. There's Tony santee and tailored for Mel, Jose Siri Jonathan India sooner rather than later, and, yeah, there's good questions about where some of these guys are gonna play. But those are good good questions to have. So I kind of feel like as frustrating is that might be in the moment watching them lose two out of three to a Washington team that does played better? But it's still not that good. As frustrating as it was to watch them. Go three and four on a homestand, where a lot of us looked at it as an opportunity to really kind of make a move over the last week. The eyes have been on the prize for me all along. And I kind of feel like it's, it's been maybe not as knowledged as someone like, but a part of the plan was get better this year from last year. But more importantly, kinda, cultivate that core little bit. And by the way, there's good questions about that. Chorus Jesse Winker really a huge part of it. And if so, how much could Scott Shutler who's in Louisville right now. Be a part of that. What kind of player is Joey Votto, going to be in a couple of years, because he is undeniably, a part of that. And is there somebody like an Alex wood or Jose glazes or a scooter Ginette, or even I'll go ahead? And say even though I don't think it's going to happen. Yes. Yelp league that could could ultimately still be a part of that, because the reds extend them, but they do have. I mean, I think if you're if you're looking at teams that could be in sell mode around July thirty first reds are in a pretty good place where they have kind of a little of everything. Bench guys bullpen guys starters, outfielders infielders guys can play multiple positions left handed hitters right handed hitters you don't need to trade them all and you're not trading them just so everything must go. You're not doing it to liquidate your team. You're doing it in an effort to add assets to what they already have a minor league system that has a better place, than it was when this rebuild started a big league roster that in many respects is in better shape than it was, when this rebuild started, that's not a pessimistic point of view to say that they should really think about selling off parts that they should go into sell mode. It's actually pretty optimistic point of view that, if they make smart decisions and make good moves, and don't allow themselves to become too emotionally attached to players, along with making a smart signing or two among guys they already have they could really put themselves in a place where serious contention, is not that far off. I think if you look at it that way, this is not about purging the roster fire sale blow it up. And by the way, the reds do have seven or eight weeks to change the conversation. But the longer this goes and by this, I mean, you know, four games under five games under first place at arm's length wildcard maybe closer to arms length, but a lot of teams between them in the wildcard spot. I think it becomes a more and more important part of the conversation because I think it was always a very important part of what this.

"It's been it's been a pretty good month. Yeah. Considering everything that we went through. But you know, I think that just makes us stronger, and you know, I still think we're going to have an organization that we're going to be sustainably good. I think this obviously is a big step in that direction. This is after hours with Amy Lawrence Alvin gentry head coach of the New Orleans pelicans on NBA TV following the big victory for that organization. And he said, this is a huge step forward potentially getting signed Williamson at least the right to draft the big man out of Duke, if after hours with Amy Lawrence on CBS sports radio thanks so much for tuning and you can find me on Twitter a law radio. What's your reaction to this draft getting blown up at the top? So Cavs Nick sons with the best odds to get the number one pick. But none of them does Knicks at three calves at five sons at six we're pleased to welcome from Chicago CBS, sports dot com and BA insider read four grave who got to be privy to this incredible perspective for the draft lottery and read I'm excited to hear about it. But before we get to that just generally, what's your reaction to how things played out at the top of the draft. And that was the point of Latin winning the lottery are and having fourteen selected instead of hurry. Like we had had this is good for the NBA. I hear behind this is that less teams full tank because you have if you just missed the playoffs. Chart. Whereas I mean, look at the pelican. Evergreen and certainly didn't pay. They have been won some games toward the end of year that they weren't expected to win. And worn out there tossing up your basketball dribble. And yet they had a six percents. Yeah. They won. I I think good sign for the NBA. And I honestly like the idea of Zion Williams going to New Orleans. Good karma from New Orleans. They went through so much crap. This year. Deserves something good to literally the franchise. It might who knows. What would have happened? If Anthony Davis. Leaves are. They don't get a good return for him in the franchise goes in the gutter next year's. That might lose that basketball team, it's entirely possible. So I think is Cory. Great city of north. Certainly is some synergy here though, with the way the New Orleans pelicans ended up with Anthony Davis. And now a few years later. He's ready to get out. Here's another big man who presumably will be there pick at the top. So at some point they need to start winning and put a team together or it's going to keep happening. Yeah. I mean, are we sure? This is going to leave now Alvin gentry their head coach. I know that. Griffin doesn't want that to happen. I it never felt like it was quite in Anthony Davis character to do what he did graduate guy for demanding a trade kind of been a rotten situation. Anyone didn't get enough to pieces around him, and they kind of had enough time to do. So. But they didn't do it. They never felt like this. The first player in. Yeah. Always is. Sports was doing that. Not Anthony Davis. Anthony Davis chance to be, you know, Anthony Davis generational talent alongside. I n Williamson generous some talent. It's really exciting. Mind mate? He ends up staying there. One more year and. Contract and demand trade. Get one near contrary. And then like the kind of the way it works. Right. Well, Kawhi Leonard he's kind of changed the idea about when and how you can demand. A trade read four grave covers the NBA and was at the NBA draft lottery for CBS is with us now on after hours CBS sports radio. I am. So intrigued to hear about your unique perspective. Now, we know the system was changed this year. But it was also new for you. Where were you when when the lottery balls were popping? Call morning morning from MEAT are they're like, hey, you wanna be Amy if you ever want to Hamilton? On the rue where it happened. They're basically you want to be in the room where it happens. So what they do is the the lottery is selected about an hour hour, fifteen minutes before the show actually goes on. And they do it in the same building like a couple of floors away. And they have a conference room that is quick and very very secure and one Representative from each team, they can choose whoever they want the pelicans chose their head coach Alvin gentry worked out three. Wells, a good luck charm. Also right about ten twelve members of the media just to be transparent about this process. They don't want the Patrick Ewing draft all over again with the frozen low for whatever pure series. So I want be I was like. Want to be there? I think on both down more poorly. It's. Executives and coaches. Very real reactions the moment that it happened. And what they do is. They I it looks like a big water cooler, basically, would they put these fourteen ping pong balls in them? Number combinations. And those one thousand one unique combination visit sign number of those number companies. Pelicans had. Out of one thousand one company. Six percent made six percent odds. And then they turn on this lottery. Pink bouncing around. Air Popper popcorn machine. And they they they select each individually, and they select a four numbers, and you don't have enough time that has all the specific numbers that go to each time when through it and look at least. It's going fast that not exactly a number of that. And someone from the NBA like a couple of seconds later says Orleans pelicans, Alvin gentry. Jumps up. His arms go on shout. Yeah. Except you didn't say heck he said something else. I'm not gonna say his family radio station. And he was genuinely excited afterward was like, this is the best moment. My thirty one years in the NBA. Folks, who who knows what he will become a really the chance that he could become one of those 'rational transcendent hololens in the NBA. Excited about it was I mean for a guy who's been through everything Alvin gentry's been through over the past year. I know it's not like personal fragile. Really, we lose wrestle stuff. It was really cool to see in a get to experience that high after experiencing the lows of the past. Okay. So I have a couple of questions, then how do they know? Those of you inside the room aren't going to spill the beans. You walk into the room. There's this massive security court in the ego through and they say okay over your cell phone. Cellphone two hours. I kept reaching my park. It'd be like. Yeah. So nobody in that room. Not rob Pelinka general manager of the rakers not doing computer that person from the NBA not random. Better. So I mean kept under lock and key. I it's I was just from a transparency perspective. Everyone loves to you know, have the conspiracy theory. I think it's a really smart thing for the NBA. It's kind of open that door, and and let us actually L it happens, and frankly, really funny to be felt like I was part of some sort of tops operates. I knew. Couldn't share it. That's amazing. So then do they start with the bottom of the lottery or the top which way they do funny party? Amy is selecting Bruce ball, and they only flicked like top four picks and realizing as this election, these balls the very first one, I'm like, I don't know if it's worth it. Is not a good listener. Oh, my. I know. Four to three. I it turns out it was the number one of the first. And the only reason I do that was because gentry's, absolutely awesome reaction. Well, he's gonna have that action for the number four fit in the rights to the eight hundred or something that I can tell that's so cool. So then what happened the rest of the time because you had to stay there until after it was revealed on TV and Lord knows it took forever. Funny. It's awkward, right? Like, just I mean, there's a bunch of like, you don't media members from ESPN and the Washington Post, and it's kind of all over, and you're you know, schmoozing schmoozing with executives are they a bunch of sandwiches. Alba chancery help courts ten or fifteen minutes told us about him, and it's all about this tie. And we're like like, yeah. This electricty this ties won the lottery and. I mean, he said well, David Griffin the new general manager pelicans. And in two thousand thirteen and two thousand fourteen minority owner of the Cavs this tie to that same lottery room, and they won the lottery both years took Anthony Bennett Andrew Wiggins and David Griffin took the time. He left Cleveland can the die gave me the ties. Mike, good luck charm lucky tie. It's got be number one picks, which is pretty thinking. Cool. That's not that special. Okay. What can tie, you know, sort of horizontal stripes? But yeah, it was it was pretty that is an incredible story. I had no idea that you.

"So they need this game. So coach, we know the warriors don't care where they play whatever. Anyway. But an night like this important for them to break, the confidence of the nuggets, I think so I think the last time they played Denver in Denver. They came out and said this is a big game for us. They came out and jumped on them right away. So I think again, this is one of those games where they wanna let different we do meet you in the Western Conference finals, we wanna put a little something. More you. So you remember us, and they did it in Denver. And if they can come out here at home and beat them by twenty or something like that is shattered that that Deborah team really thinking any form that they can beat this anywhere. This a possible conference finals matchup. What do you think Denver's still too young to new to be to make it that I think it is possible conference final just what Paul just said earlier this team plays extremely well at home. Right. And if they have the number two seater number one team see they're going to be at home for a lot of games that that first round in the second round before they get to the Western Conference finals. So I think I it's not that important right now, they get one or two because they're going to be like the to anyway to get all these home courts until they meet up with Golden State. But I think this could be a preview of the Western Conference finals. All right. Our league past game of the night rockets at king's Daehnhardt is coming off a fifty point game against the teams on Saturday. And the rockets are looking to move up in the standings. Void that Ford. See what matters most. The rockets right now, the seating is a health the rest. What is I think his wrist? I think you know, the way they've been playing all these long all the the minutes James Harden's had the law. The the the way he's had to carry the load on offense event right now. I think if they can if they can win the game great. But right now, I think rest is the most important thing for them. You know, it's a combination of getting three seat most important. So they don't see go to stay in the second round and health. This team says we would have been in the finals last year of Chris Ball doesn't get hurt. Right. And so that spans we wanna see that we want to see a healthy. Chris Paul James harden, healthy rockets team to see hey, Ken this team play go to site because of the regular season, they busted Golden State up. Yeah. And so this peop-. I mean health has to be on that schedule. You guys saw Nick sons to opponents for the rockets on schedule. Do you roll the dice and say I'm sitting my guys for those games because we're good enough to beat them without a Dame's hardy without Chris Ball. I don't I don't I really don't. I think you don't have to play them as much as they normally normally would play. But I would definitely go in there and say, listen, these are two teams that we should definitely be. Let's jump on them early on in early. And then we arrest the fourth quarter. It's all about seeding in this. They're still plan for that seat because this can be you could be playing Denver's second round Golden State second round the defending champs. You got a chance to play inexperienced. Denver say that never win the first round. That's what you want. Sometimes the playoffs is about matchup and that's a favorable matchup for Houston. Yeah. Going magic for anybody. All right. Thanks for joining me. I'll be back tomorrow. So Rachel, we'll see. Then y'all miss Rachel on this. Oh, we've NewsRadio job is Saul.

"To you by chase. I mean, we already questioned whether or not Adam James anti-gays job in jeopardy because of the bad press conference now, Greg we it was to be physical innate rag Williams when blood is in the water use there to dry and take someone else's Haley like are you looking for office consult. All right. First, quote, went said, he was support whatever decision. The eagles. Make irrespective falls. Brodie SPF. Tim McMahon is today. Doug Peterson announced we'll be the quarterback going forward. Pablo if you were wins. But you be okay with the eagles retain him big bleak. Nick as the backup. If I was I'd like to think I'd be a big enough man to support a teammate who served the team. Well, but if I'm Carson Wentz is agent new. I am frayed when I'm afraid because the Philadelphia fan base has not yet embarked upon a true QB controversy type of problem like when Wentz has gone out because of injury if he goes, what do you go five and six or whatever was to start the year in the playoff picture looks hazy. They're going to be calling for big bleep. And I don't know if that's something you want. I don't know why you think it's going to be any better if he's five and six and your the backup if he's five and six next year. It's gonna be a problem guardless. No matter. What is being a problem? Look foles is a great look for the eagles. And I think this works out. Okay for wins. Because the eagles know what he is. And they know what he's not no matter. What else anybody else has to say? The noise would be loud about going to Nick falls. However last year cross recovered from an ACL tear. Their record was the year before cars wins the starting quarterback. It was eleven to like we're making too much out of this. And I think wins will be fine. If they bring foles back. The issue though, is that wins has been routinely getting hurt. And I agree that went as better than foles. And I agree that Phillies probably going to move on. But there is some good news boat. What teen league gotten hurt or did he tears ACL this somebody broke his back? Well, there's a broken vertebra. There's the there was the thing. North Dakota stays got hurt baba. Wow. Really football player got hurt three times fourth time in there somewhere. But I have some good news. They got Nick son felt he looks quite a bit. Yeah. They like which one is which. No, really, which one of them is which I don't know. I think the dude over there is Sud Phil I think that's nightside feld. But while they both go to the same guy who doesn't trim their beer. It's hard to measurably of all right? Next. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He wants to come here, really bad. Said Jerry Rice interview with ninety five point seven the game about Antonio Brown's desire to play for the forty Niners. But with this a good idea. Question. I'll say it is Shanahan thus far. He has won ten games in two years. And he's gotten a lot of latitude for the people around that team national media everything else. Spite of this fact, if it goes like this in year three I don't care what quarterback is or is not playing you. Go to hear more people start talking about what's going on over there. Right. One thing that would help prevent that sort of discussion having Antonio brattle. Yes. I am personally curious as to why the Steelers want to accommodate 'Antonio grounds. Trade requests, though, it seems like this news is at the very least signaling and Tony Brown. Definitely wants out. Antonio ground is still not going to tell the Steelers about it directly. He's going to make them. Chase a story on Instagram of him face timing Jerry Rice, he's gonna make them chase. Oh, did our name leave his Twitter bio they're going to they're going to have to follow him around in. Why if you're the Steelers do you want to cooperate with that hold on though, he does have? Some leverage in this..
