Twitch streamers of paid more than a million dollars since august twenty nine teen top of the list is crucial role which is a team of voice actors who stream dungeons and dragons sessions. "It's like if you want to come hang out with me. Cool all come. Hang out with you i think. Adhd streaming to give a shot. I think he's doing a great job because he's just networking with people and just hanging out anybody that drops. Hey how you doing. How's your day has your. Was your last meal house work today. I was your stream this weekend. How is what do you got going on in the background. What do you like what. I was building my desk together. I was in a call with him for a short part of it right. And then i was like okay. I need to crunch down and try to get some of the ship. Banged out and then i was sending everybody pictures as i was building stuff right and it's it's cool like seeing. I've talked about it a couple of times. Both on this podcast in just calls with different people like our network from even a year ago prior to the podcast like meeting. Oh gee meeting all the different tie ins like different you meet a streamer and then you meet their mods. They have mods or like their regulars that are within their chats. And then there's bleed over and people start aligning. Hey how's it going. And then channel point start flying and we'll start making memes and clips and memories and moments and it adds up. Yeah just hang out man like you and you celebrate your friends to. I'm so like Like bona fide hero hit a I have one point. Two million views on one of his talks and i. I'm legitimately have happy for him is not like there's no there's no there's no. There's no like jealousy. There is none of that shit like you know like i gotta stop. It's like dude luck in. Yeah that's you're my friend. I wanna see you do well like and that's that's what you should take on twitch like a lot of people on which one is they see. Ninja-like is want those numbers and they'll do whatever it takes to get those numbers and that's where we get into like you know paying for follows paying for viewers and all that shit people take the wrong route when in reality it's it's as simple as like literally going into other channels and just making friends and over time and doing that consistently right but allow your big streamers you watch nowadays like ten minutes mainstream for almost eight years eight fucking years and before that he was playing in tournaments. You know dr disrespect. He's been playing in tournaments since halo too. you know. he's been a part of the gaming community forever and now he's as big as he is because his made this character and he's networked and he's made friends like him to the top man nick merck's you know they're all friends you know. So it's how like they have like the boys squad plays warzone. It's nick tim cloaks and then it was doc. Docs on youtube now. They're all back together so he can play with zealander. Aw he can play with Nick in cloak and all them and since he wasn't banned. Like doc was he can still have like the cross traffic up. But it's it's been interesting to see like them squatting up and it's like..

"Who's reading your message. Everyone doing what really big on. Twitch are they all gamers. They may do other kinds of talk but are they all at their core gamers. I mean there are definitely big creators. who aren't gamers. The biggest ones are. Gamers yeah i mean on twitch. Because that's what twitched out now twitter. You can do a lot of talk show stuff you can do other content you can do podcasting But the bigger ones are the gamers at any. I think a lot of that is because gaming is something you can do for hours and hours upon end and that's where revenue comes in for for for these guys right is the length of stream the donors that come in during that in the super chats and all that that i think that's why they end up being the biggest because they're on more right they are you. Can i count on. I know my schedule my guys and they are there's rarely hours of they're not streaming They're on so often. So it's kind of like a constant source of if i'm looking for entertainment. I know tim the tap minutes. Probably on if it's the afternoon i know dr goes on. If it's early in the morning ride i know you know nick. Merck's he's gonna be on like you just kind of have your your go-to people. It's almost like turning on tv and like going to espn because you like sports like because you know it's going to be on and you talk about sports. I know tim's gonna be on and no he's funny and i love watching a care what game he's playing. I'll watch them play anything. Funny yeah i think on on twitch i. It's in the book. Actually i mentioned in the introduction. There was a there was a time when just chatting the category just chatting. Yeah actually passed gaming. In terms. I think of ours watched or our streams or something like that. Okay i don't remember the the metric but just chatting is differentiated from podcasts. Or livestream toys. It shows so. I don't know just chatting is like you just kind of open room so to speak. And you're you're just like. I don't know why that's considered a different category from but when when i was multi streaming and would go to twitch. Nobody said to me. Put that set. Your category is just chatting. In fact it may have been stream yards default that the category would be podcasting webcasting or whatever. It's called podcasts. I think in shows or something. Yeah well and it's interesting. Because i think i think you're you're probably on to something because in that must be why so for example tim the tap man. He's he was probably the biggest guy on on which one of the biggest guys on twitch he just moved to you too but before you know. Data category makes a difference so the first he ended up switching. He used to be just huge jump on he will get into the game and then he would talk while he was playing a game. He switched his whole strategy up two years ago in the first hour and a half to two hours. He's just chatting with his chat like it's just him and his check he's got such a following right he's got sixty thousand people watching him whenever he gets on he would do just chatting and change his category for the first hour and a half. I think it would put them a different category. His metrics would change a little bit he featured in different areas and then as he started playing right he. He switches the category than switch to regain. He's playing for him called warzone. Right a tweet. Go switch over to. But that i'm wondering ross. If that's why. I wonder if maybe those start to pick up different things and the featured in certain areas. And maybe that's why he started doing just chatting for awhile and then switching over to the gaming tried to be relevant and multiple spaces and i think people want that access to people that they enjoy watching and listening. It's probably true. Probably increases revenue a bunch when he gets all of his. Don't talk to them right because he only reads messages from donations. There you just answered your question. Because that's that's how super chat works. You're you're somebody's providing infowars advice or deciding who who they're going to talk about or to you want to get that shout out or you want to get your question answered. Put a super chat in you go you kind of cut the line in fact with the biggest people. You probably can't even get in line. Super chad is the line for sure. Yeah i mean at his chats growing by so fast you can read it and so he really just a huge folks only on the The donations are super chats. Whichever one driver platform you're on. Yeah it's it's fascinating to me. It's absolutely fascinating and it's it's even more fascinating that you know. I'm not young. But i'm definitely i'm not old yet either. I'm kinda stuck in this weird age. Where i'm still kind of in gaming but i'm i'm definitely not a young kid anymore and You know i have. I have kids myself and so I've even you know donated and subbed analyst avenue. Like man they they. He's even got me involved. Just because it's such a container right it is. It is it's weird. It's almost like it almost triggers the same mental thing for me that dopamine hit the gambling real quick does right and it's almost like you donate it. He said your name alright and read your thing. I it's it's weird a very weird kind of kind of thing but it's it's great and you just want to support these guys. Because they're they're fun. They provide a lot of entertainment. I should probably pay him. What i pay netflix. Because i watch him way more than ever watching uh flicks But when you put in that terms yeah. I got netflix for like a month because there was something on it i wanted to watch and i never watched anything else. After that i ended up cancel. I need to do that honestly because we do the same thing. We'll end up watching your show on it. I could probably cancel it for eight nine months out of the year. Well this show would lend itself from gadget geeks In it looks like my audio's bad again but we'll give it a second here to catch up but would be perfect for some at engagement from a selling. You know we talk about these products to have them and we could drop the links in the chat in and do it that way. It's it's different. You know as this this form of influencing his come on over the last you know three to five years but ever score like this. It was enough to do this like get on. Have a chat room. I mean i remember when i first started podcasting. Fifteen years ago fourteen years ago. This was a big deal like to go live and to have live video and have a chat room was a big deal like that was enough and today those are just table stakes for the most part. And you know i. I don't know you know. Ross i've just a few minutes ago. I showed chat coming in in real time without reading it. There's been some times. I spend time reading the chat. So you bring it up and read it and i don't know what's the right like in in all the all the cool kids this chats coming up. They're just showing it right. They're not reading every single thing. But i see. I see it popping in and off the screen. You know just like it's there it's gone. They're gone as a mark of engagement. I've always been one to think. No i need to read it. If they're going to say it. I need to read it on the show because asked my audience has been mostly audio right and so i'm just joining and it's not even into the audio bit and so i i always of think it's important for the audio listeners..

"What do you call it Like sponsors and lose the opportunity of navin the Playability with those guys. So then even think about like. Tim dr lupo. They signed deals to be able to go over so they're getting paid. Probably millions to go over just like the mixture deal but youtube will not pay doc or signed him a contract. Because they're like where else are you gonna go so he is going to forever to pay him now. They don't but because of like that. In streamers are losing out on money because a contractor because people won't sign because they won't give out contracts. What do you mean who's losing money. Dhaka's losing money because he there's no reason for you to sign him but right ladies losing money because twitch not youtube yeah 'cause i i don't think youtube bad platform because they won't give doc more money because doc has to make a living and if i was in the sea of youtube i wouldn't give him a contract for fucking millions of dollars either because there's no reason there's no reason to that doesn't make youtube bad. No i'm just saying it just sucks for him kind kinda fucked like twitch 'cause they're fucking Their petty who knows we'll probably find out when he wins the lawsuit. Because if it's anything with the contract he won't lose that lawsuit to lose and they'll have to pay And i don't think twitter cares because they make so much money. It's kind of just one of those things where they might even sign. I guarantee they will. Yeah they might even just settle it because it would look bad even more on twitch if all this information game out yeah is nick merck still over onto it. Yeah but he said he signed a deal. The biggest deal has life so people are speculating. That it's nick going over. He already plays for phase so it's not like he signed another team..

"Never understand. That's a different beast. Had asked him. So yeah i. I think it's big and people. Are you know starting to speculate whether other people i think right now. People are speculating. Nick merck's is going Because i guess on string. I guess onstream he's been telling people like you. I can't tell you guys. This signed the biggest deal my life and recently well recently even signed a deal with under armour now is a big deal but like he told people about that and he's like this one. I can't tell you about so. We're i mean it could be twitch resigning him. I'm not sure. But like the way he's saying is like this is the kind of money where his friends his family his kids. They're taking care of and this week in their flying a private jet him and his team to jet or to las vegas popping champagne in celebrating. But that's how big a deal is that we already had seventy five case ups. I do that up money from. Yeah so yeah. That's got to put it in perspective. Like lord and that's why i think it has to be i mean he has the highest. I don't think he has the highest. I think like ambu. Or who one of those minecraft dudes has like a hundred and twenty thousand subs or something like that. And that's like their average. The minecraft community on lake twitches insane. And i think that's who you needs to get next is like those tommy in the kids snap nap. Whatever their main thing is. Youtube videos live. Streams would be even more ceo. They average like all hundred k. Like they are about their way different. While i was also reading some interesting people were like dissecting wondering how the switches will go because like if we look historically like four for him a ninja and shroud going to make sure for instance and then coming back when shroud left. Subways top three and then of course ninja famous. Who's like a quarter of a million but that was because of that was when i'm saab's and all that stuff came out But then they come back and now. Shroud has like seven k. Subs a month going down. From like seventy thousand. He used to have Yeah ninja has like three thousand well. I know ninja only really plays like that final fantasy. I mean he's like leaving so you'll you know what i mean. Yeah he's chilling but like that's the thing like they'll never never reach that level again probably bore. It'll take a really long time. You gotta realize though like when ultimately when they took these deals they took these things knowing. Because when you're at that many suburbs like you have a level of business understanding because you have to in order to figure out okay. Yeah where the fuck is all this money going. I mean they're chilling now but that the reason they're chilling is because they took deals that essentially made it to where i don't have to worry about if i ever like a fun day. I just like this high rides out because it's going to ride out. No one stays at those levels forever. No matter how popular this year misreferred right. Watch yourself just just way. So it's like. Would you rather take a twenty million right now or keep on riding on the those. Those seventy thousand subs. You have a good question. Give me the twenty mil like and this is like right there. You don't have to. You're done like you can retire. Except i think he case to it was like fifty million or like one hundred million. Yeah exactly so it's like it's like at that point like at that point that's beyond twenty. That's beyond your yearly even if you are do generation that's like deja might almost blinking. I you know. He'll think about blinking and like fifty mill. Yeah like fifty million to like whatever he's apropos is like fifty million to him probably like religiously hey he pulls through a drive through. Yeah he's like..

"They are placing alice getting subscription. Sorry the policies. They are putting into place is i wouldn't say it's causing more toxicity. I think is becoming more unmanageable for twitch. And i think that the community is getting angrier because of that. I think it's a direct cause because of twitch itself. I think the platform is doing as intended. I think that because there is more people and there are more issues. I think that's causing more frustration and because of more frustration. That's leading to more anger in the community. Which is causing it to be a little more toxic. So i guess in a roundabout way. It's it's more about. The rapid growth in the unmanageable expectations of the community and in the non transparency is causing a larger problem. If that makes sense they can stem it by being more transparent about things and a little bit more like vaughan said a little bit more proactive on how to help people but they're not and they really don't have to basically like the platform has grown but the company itself has not grown to adjust to the platform. It's like this more city planning as basically poor city planning exactly and they don't want to spend the money like yin said to fix the infrastructure in order to implement changes that will actually benefit the twitch community. Because why would they do that. they don't have to. They're making hand over fist right now. They're making so much fucking money. Make so much fucking money. This is probably the most money they were made. Let's be honest. They were saying Read three hundred million Added revenue loan last year. I mean they're making money over there. Making the handover fist. Why would they change anything. It's working for the business model is working. You know what i'm saying like. Yeah but again. It's like you said right now. They're making handover face until this shit just explodes like a giant pimple on. Somebody's face every business ever created though. I think it will explode spicy. You don't you don't own. And i don't think which will do anything about it until it affects big streamers because i don't think in all honestly i don't think they give a shit about anybody under five hundred dollars. I think you're right about. They don't care top one thousand. That's it i am. I think unless let's affecting like tin the tap man knit mark. Nick merck's All those people until they're the ones who are being like. Us have to fix this. You know in all honesty if they're moneymakers. Don't give a shit. Why do they and so much of that. They don't fucking care and those or here's the problem. It's kind of like youtube though with the self censorship like. Apparently you're not allowed to cuss to may times your video gets demonetized. And so you're going to self-censor because of that do you think nick merck's or ten the tap man would speak out against twitch in the position that they're in right now that'd be fucking career suicide. You know white the hand that feeds you. You don't bite the fan that he's you're one hundred percent right so yeah..

Kilter tweak all righty so now y'all we are going to talk all about inex- t takeover and a little bit of exceed this week which index t took place this past sunday on peacock in the united states. Wb network everywhere else and to be completely honest. This show didn't do it for me. It kind of felt like a really amped up take just regular show. Yeah it was good. It was entertaining but it just didn't have that it was missing. Something is very intimate climax spots part of it could be because we all know what's going on there are changes coming to the brand that we all love and cherish and they're going to change the format a little bit and like you could see the writing on the wall to there were people on this show. Were no longer. Be part of the brand going forward based on a variety. Different things them being not in a building lake they would be for like brooklyn had a brooklyn or portland or wherever they've been chicago. The big rena also doesn't help the feel of takeover because as cool as a pc is and how they've transformed the what what was just a regular trading facility into a television set up for them. It's still lacks that big atmosphere. It lacks it right now. The hottest things in rustling are on the road in front of fifty ten five ten fifteen thousand people awa in front of three to six to fifteen thousand people. You're used to that big field and then when you come back to nfc takeover like tv in front of three hundred fine when you come to take over. It's like it. Missed the boat where it's like. This could have been arena. I know why on an arena but this could have been an arena. Where would felt like a bigger deal when they did in your house that felt cool because it was a theme takeover right. I had a different set to it. Had a different feel. This was this didn't even given name. This has got a number and that's kind of also part of it too. it was just. Hey here's our here. It is like some of the best takeovers we've seen in the very beginning happy that wholesale in front of five hundred people but man's spending money on the brain right now. They're not putting. You're actually trying to take money out of the the brand. They're down out because they're investing in an in the building. But i'm talk headquarters talking about new setup for the show but they're keeping them. They're they're not trying to sell tickets because they don't to them. And is not a touring brand name or it's just a television show and the show felt like impact that that's true too it. It felt like an impact. You know lately where it's in front of a few hundred fans or the big show. It just doesn't do it because the field's not there anymore you're missing something and it sucks. 'cause he'd takeover was always the highlight of a weekend. It really was and sunday felt like colds wrestling. But we know what's happened with adam cole. And the whole situation there and we still don't know where he's had a be on dynamite next week is not going to be out rampage for anyone who's wondering rampage tomorrow. But his contract is up tomorrow supposedly supposedly up tomorrow hate whether he's resigning no one who knows but the extension ends tomorrow or in an hour. Twenty minutes to you know he's leaving. Karen crosses moving up to the main roster to become the superstar. He was always destined to be most most polite way to say that And like i don't know it just it's not disabled. We saw sunday wasn't good because there were a lot of good stuff on the show. It just didn't feel as important as it should have. And i think that was by design. Yes hundred percent was yeah. 'cause it's like. They put summer slam on a saturday. They made your summer slam. Went i because wwe with an x t really created their own competition. Who the amd part of the problem was especially doing takeovers on the big pay per view. Weekends is take her over. We'd go on saturday. And then the main pay per view would go on on sunday in a lot of times take because they had the fresh audience. They would go on i. They were being presented in a specific way. Takeover was oftentimes a lot better than the main show paper views. And they didn't like that. They didn't like the fact that the people were more into the developmental brand than they were the main show so wwe really created their own problem with inex- t because they really did create a third brand that could not necessarily compete with the main roster. But was i would say on the same level. They're big we're on the same level as mange's than they did it with less matches less flare all the other things because they just they knew how to produce really good stories with the talent that they had and tell the stories in the proper manner whereas the main roster. They don't necessarily always do that. And then along comes a w in that whole thing in an xt lost that whatever you wanna call it war fight battle whatever in xt did not prevail and so now they pull back on it co. it also hasn't helped it so it's like okay all right we're going to take it back to where it was five six seven years ago when it was at full sail and it was young developmental talent in. They're going to start developing talent because part of the problem too is if you hold people done in annexed t like they've been doing and you tell all the stories in annexed xt than they get up into the main roster they don't have those stories to tell and people aren't necessarily as into the characters that's part of the problem also. Wb wasn't getting all the talent. Mimics they were holding people down there like johnny gargano. Tomasa champa did not want go up. They wanted to stay in next t. They've held adam. Cole down there for a really long time in part because he wanted to stay but also in part because they wanted.

But the way i wrap my head around it i i is gaming's huge and i remember growing up. You know i. I love football idolize. Tom brady you know the nfl guys. In i want to watch them play. And now there's a lot of kids that are grown up and they're playing video games just like you and me and they want to watch people that go up on the stages and win the cardboard shacks. There's an attraction to watching people that are that are great at things like you and hosting your show and not. Nobody can do it like you. There's a reason you're uppers reasonably saint thing. Now there's a lot of people jumping in game he's become in just a real normal thing nowadays. You know. I gotta give a shout to my team. 'cause i mean trevor. I listen man. i'm great pressing. Two buttons under control. There may. But i'm can't dumb ass when it comes to business and being business savvy stuffing me. I've learned along the way. But it's it's it's really weird. I i consider myself just just super fortunate. I'm one of the people on planet earth that do something every day that i love. And i know it's shaded state. But i love this man like i was playing sports in high school i was. I had a two point. Oh gpa was hanging on by a thread. Family wanted to send me away. The attitude problems the whole shebang. I mean i. I knew the only thing that i ever did that i loved was played. Halo play the right like right right so i guess to answer your question. I think it's kind of lucky in some in some ways but it was easy to to turn it into a business when i didn't even know it was a business and i was just doing something i love to do. With all my buddies and justin. Tv turned into twitch right and before you knew it. My my ad viewers turned into a thousand and the cardboard check for ten k. Turned into one hundred k. And it just got bigger and bigger and bigger. And i kind of looked out man. I'm definitely and you say you say you looked up but meant nick. Let me tell you something. This is something. I never appreciated about treatments. Is how hard you guys work. Because on an average day how many hours a day do you stream six to eight. Maybe eight hours you there grinding with this is us six to eight hours. You're engaging the people you're playing the game you're breaking it down. Let me ask you this. What do you think about the future of gaming. Where do you think it's going because this is what's changed in the world gaming used to be a solitary experience. You play mario brothers. Maybe play with the people around you. Now you play with anyone anywhere anytime and now because people like you this big money and it's and this big viewership in some of the biggest e athletes earn the same as athletes in the nba. All the nfl. You've made it so that you're not tied to the game people want to be with faze clan. People wanna be with. Nick merck's it doesn't matter it's fortnight doesn't matter if it's if it's called a duty people want to be with you. How do you think you're going to keep growing that. And why do you think it's growing at the rate today. I mean i've been in the gaming scene for half my life very very long time and it is just consistently just t- t you know i mean i. It's it's something that we can all do. Anybody can play a game. You don't you don't need to be great at it. I got buddies in mind that i stream with day that are wildly successful. They're not so great. I'm telling you right now You know child boy timmy. All love though. I think the important thing to focus on it and why i think it's going to keep growing is that anybody can do it in any stage of life. I can't put on my football passing. More travel get laid out. I can't do it. But it. But i can sit down and play games with k. One or or a brawny. I can play. I can put you know. Can't play basketball with them. But i can play call of duty with them right so i think the death important takeaway. Now as to what. I'm going to be doing specifically to to grow my brand do and do my thing Just more of the same in you know we. We've built a community. It kind of a kind goes above. Just the just the normal viewer in a legit community i got. I got people that have met in my chat box. That are married now. I mean that that's real life. I'm so i'm going to keep doing it. Keep doing my thing. I'm definitely gonna keep slaying and trying to push that you know that idea in that. Plan that gamers don't don't need to be skinny little nerds or big big. Big big beaver dam you. Can you can be. You can be athletic. You can game at the what was awesome about the about the whole faze clan thing that we did and the sports illustrated was it. Those athletes kate their gamers. Mander day in live more good brownies. A balder man. Cave one can play so. I think it's really really important thing. I'll tell you this man as somebody who was stuck indoors for many hours a day. I appreciate what you were doing. I appreciate the joy you bring into people's lives. I think that's why you're so successful. Shut up to the rest of phase. Congratulations on everything that you guys have done because amen as you say everybody is and can be game and i appreciate that. You guys opened up to everybody. Enjoy yourself. good luck with everything you do. And i'll see you again next buddy. You can check out phase. Nick knickknacks next week on sports illustrated's july cover or anytime on twitch and youtube when we come back.

"Nick Merck's and things like that is so important This Day and age For Four for you to or for a competitive player to take that momentum and move forward with it you know Ryan being extremely yourself here did you. Did you have some some conscious thinking of what you wanted to be or how you wanted that to be? Portrayed her did that start to come as you started to find your groove and what made you feel most comfortable so it was for me like a little bit of both because you don't get when I first got into it. I didn't really know what our doing just pushing live and play some video game right. No it's not just that I learned that very quickly that there's a lot more into it or that goes into it not only that but this is also still a kind of Newish groundfloor industry and and place again having a TV. Production Experience A lot of that kind of intertwined with the streaming world and that's where I found That I really enjoy things but what I learned especially was from watching other people's dreams Seeing what I enjoyed about their streams and what made sense to be able to Implement and incorporate into my own again for me. It's all about good vibes You know showing out people being able to relax and have US base where we can come together talk about games. Play Video Games together Meet Each Other. Maybe collaborate on different creative aspects as well because again it's not about just gaming and a lot of people that are within this world that have other skills that you can then start collaborating on on other projects or doing other things. And that's where I really found a lot of for me anyway. That's where I started kind of gravitating towards Was was more more of that and that collaborating and being able to build a community of like minded people You know you gotTA. That's definitely something I know. Some people go in they go in hot and heavy. They already have you know. I know who my demographic is..

"And agnes right ignace and then you had. I was named arena. Right the the dragoon like we are. She like she should have been a playable character because she was bleeding. She's she's bad ass. And so that was the one thing that was missing from fifteen. Because I thought the story was great. I cried like a baby at the end it was like I thought the whole setup going at the end when you had the theme music playing a game when you going into the final battle like it was. It was awesome very well put together. That the world was great Maybe a little plane at times but I bet there was just enough to do where I kept myself busy but you know but I think playing a game on because even now like final fantasy fourteen when I play it on. Pc like being able to get two hundred playing even the new now. Oh my God like I have yet to get my hands on it but I've heard it's fantastic. It's on I was on it before the sale. Because that's how my life works but you know I think a lot of developers are seeing that so. I think you can Chris thing like you can buy a PC and you're probably going to spend more money on a what biannual or triannual basis on upgrading every year. But you're just going to get better performance. Yeh so I don't know what the PS five or the xbox XS Guy was. I was going to ask you to what your impressions on because I mean based on everything I've seen on paper. They're essentially a five hundred dollars. What I'm guessing is going to be a five hundred dollar. Pretty Powerful Reisen based system and their targeting four K. With a maximum one twenty not saying that every game is going to get four K. One twenty I mean if they can get a handful of games you know the real popular ones hitting four k. One hundred twenty. That's essentially computer. It's better than my computer. Currently it's playing skyrocketed like a really high end as opposed to playing like a PS four. And extra here's like I like consoles like I have my. I only reason why I bought a ps four was because I got the final fantasy. Fifteen collector's edition like that. That's why I got it and I and I got the remake on it like there's no other reason to own it but you know but I'll always buy that for xbox obviously halo is going to be on C. Now too but like I would I would buy it for Halo and you know also I think I what did I do? I do like assassins creed and the UBISOFT Games on xbox for some yeah last voces lasts only on. Ps four it's only NPR or his ing. Which which which I think is probably one of my top five games of like of all time if encompassing story the atmosphere everything that it was supposed to do with did and The mechanic is it was really really really well put together and you know again but but like PC comes into play type of game. Where like you know. It's kind of like playing tomb raider on a PC. It's like you get the quality in terms of the the the environments. But like it's not necessarily necessarily needed right. Yep like the last of us is like that but if you play like a game like sky rim or something like that like you know yeah you want that on like the ultra you wanted and the fact of the matter. Is You know game like skyrocketed modding enabled. It's allowed the game to stay alive for so long because your people have added the crap out of it and they've they brought a game When she cheese I I should know in two thousand ten was two thousand ten thirteen. I 'cause more than two thousand seven right. I should know absolved my head but I put many hours that game. But they've essentially allowed a game. You know with bonding to to look just as good now as it did you know comparatively for when it came out in the technology had now but you know the modding scene so high that you can make that game. Look like four K. models everything like that. It's it's crazy. I mean game lit up a lot of doors when it comes to two games on jeopardy and stuff like that does and the thing is too and it's actually kind of funny. Where like you know like there's nothing worse than like a steam sale? It's like everything. Every game they ever wanted is on sale. Like I think like every once in a while I'll tweet like this is your this is your quarterly reminder that sleeping dogs three dollars by Alexander like sleeping dogs for like a derivative grand theft auto meets Shenmu awesome. Gay really good really did well. My friends told me I should check it out by our. It's really really good. And and a game like quantum break which I think was a little bit before it signed because like obviously quantum break awesome. Yeah it was it still like and that was on sale for like ten bucks. I'm like aw man like that's a you know. And that's the game that I played in xbox. I'm like you know what I really want to check this out on the 'cause like ten bucks so I i. It's funny because I got to. Here's the thing is I got the end but that's when it started playing PC games. I can't aim what the controller anymore. I need the keyboard and mouse. I mean that's like we made the jump to probably four years ago at this point when pudgy before pudgy but like Pudgy was a big big driver for me to get get into PC gaming before that it was all all console. And I you know. I played all the duties on council. I can't for the life of me. I console playing. Cod blows my mind. The most embarrassing thing that I've I've done one was trying to shoot a basketball twenty years after playing high school basketball. You wouldn't know what to do and it was so sad. Where like that mean that goes around these high school kids shooting baskets and like not like fifteen seconds like a couldn't hit the rim. I wouldn't even know how to judge me trying to aim on a controller. Right now rock just like. I can't do it because I never. I never completed grand theft auto on PS four. But then trying to aim and shoot and everything else and then I get used the left bumper to like switch here but that's not the same and it's like I I need to get this on the PC. So I yeah. I can't aim on a controller anymore. I can't do the point and you know that's we which is actually a really good debate because I think both sides making argument between like duty. Pc colony console right. Yeah it's like it's like the I mean that's probably not the same thing I think the aluminum bat and the wooden bat. Yeah I guess because I I was going to say something about to competitively. Because there's you know the the Amos's such a hot topic like from a competitive side of things because everyone's yelling about it in fort night and then even like the most recent war zone Wednesday a lot of the top teams remaining towards tournament. We're all their controller players. Not Saying that. They were playing on console. But they're all you know whether it's controller and or they're actually playing on console but they're they're all using controller which is interesting. I just I look at it as a as as a hurdle I feel like that they. I don't know about a hurdle but adversity to the competitive environment because you know aim assist is obviously prevalent in a lot of games. There is the youtube clip of the of the of the the CS go player from India. For optic got torn on rip off stage for using an aim. Bought 'EM ASSIST PLAY. Right but why is that not allowed but it? Amos's allowed in controllers so it's again like I get it again. I'm over the market is going. I think. Part of the issue with the call of Duty League is the fact that it's not on computer. I mean I that's not this I I'm sure like I'm sure like all them could could very easily pick up. A you know a mouse and the keyboard do really well. They could probably be on a controller right. Can you imagine him nature play? You Know Stream. They they do beat most of the people they play against anyways so says name. What like I guess thing like like I think there should be that option but but I think that you should take off the the you know the The -must because I think that again it assists with with the aim right. It's like you can't cork the bat. You know I don't know like you can't curve you stick you know. Basically it's like allowing like like you can curve a like in curve a wooden stick but you can't curve a Without you can curb the wooden sticks because they're heavier but you're not allowed to occur curve the composite X. because they're lighter. Yeah it's it's it's like it should be straight across the board But again like thing like aiming on on a controller. I WANNA say either control. It was much more difficult. I I just think it is so it. Probably have the Amos's because it probably is literally impossible for like the normal game on Azure. It's but you know. I don't think it's the master race but I think that in terms of like money and advertisements and stuff like that. Where like you know you want to have a pc and stuff like that. But that's just me I mean I you know I again like if they move over to the NBA Two K. League. I think is on. Pc technically but you can use the controller. I could be. Yeah I think I think so. Yeah so you can still have the controller over to. Pc that's moving to pc but you know it's a it's a man or is it going to be like one team was allowed to keyboard player keyboard and keyboard it. So it's IT'S A it's A. It's a very good debate you know if I wanted to. It's probably one of the better debates in sports right now. Which is you know. I think that PC is better. It has better performance and stuff like that an estimated especially now than some some of the more popular games are now coming over to PC. I think it's kind kinda solidifying it. Yup Oh You know so. That's where it is but Bentayga it's so hard at Avon on controller. I do it. I can't even on keyboard mostly remind no I I. Yeah I drive a war zone every now and then because like during during the week with the whole quarantine you know. My my girlfriend uses my desk so I can't play my computer so I'll drop in on on my xbox and my buddies and I look like a child learning how to swim. I'm just like I can't look at the same time I used to be so fluent at it and said you this before I used to think I was a pretty good player like I played a lot of overwatch. I played a lot of call duty when we played Kaduna Council. I was always in the top of the team. As far as kills you know in public matches and stuff like that and I. I can't even fathom playing that right now on the controller. I just lose it so quickly. I never thought either buddy. I played a lot lately. I tried for the first time on council ick couple months ago and I just felt like an absolute new can do anything I can never do. I will say the lately I. I've been plugging my control or into a PC and playing on my pc trial to Amos's because it is pretty strong and caught right now so it it's definitely there and that thing is like you can still use it use a controller on. Pc like you know the the you know. The xbox one controllers are optimized for or if I have the do gore steam controller is okay but you can use xbox controller even a PS four controller. Watch Nick Merck's he does things on controller that I can't even do. It mustn't keyboard it's didn't didn't the DACA disrespect too extreme on controller. He played blackout a lot on controller. Actually two also doing modern warfare or a few times on the controller is his background console. Right when he played like cotton and stuff like that so he has he has. Yeah yeah he was a level designer too. But yeah it's it's Yeah. It's pretty crazy watching some of the high level controller players just roast people because I I can't even do it on mouse and keyboard and I know for a fact that mouse and keyboard is superior so all the props to them for doing it. Yeah IT'S A. I think consoles are going to die because I think John this multi multi multi media computers and stuff. I mean they're integrating everything so like Microsoft is into integrating everything so nicely into the xbox that you can do everything all off the xbox you know you don't get like the sweet overlays necessarily but I mean if you WanNa just start out streaming in an xbox great way to do it because everything's built right in.

"Just don't see him actually. Being generally happy I friends. I sort of agree with that as well I would say that's probably a good bet. So yeah I just think I don't know you know like like I said he might be in a little funk. Everybody gets a funk. You know we get folks in our full-time jobs his full-time job just happens to be streaming in front of thousands of people on a regular basis the funks. It's GonNa look a little different. The folks going to consist of different tendencies different. You know doing different things and right now. What he's doing just little a little bit on the side of hurting his brand rather than helping his brand I think in so get to keep the and that's the problem you know you always keep that in mind and back to what you said about Tim? You know being you first time you've really ever seen a streamer it'd be like Yeoman calm down like I feel like Tim's got it in hand really good like everyone knows which chats going to try to is going to be there to try to get his news one. Most Troy wants to and and and that's that's a fact. Yeah exactly and so. That's that's a really good dessert tray. You have to have essentially if you're going to be extremely like that is you gotta realize they're going to try to troll you and you just gotTa be like all right man cool when you roll with the punches. Yeah so and but part. Three of Ninja takes aches ale is his SRI more room. Just got kicked in the Dick but ace Matt. I didn't even think I didn't even think of that like I didn't even really connect those to talk about. I think I saw Ninja tweeted. Something I go out Nick Moore extreme because the reminder he a I think a lot of people were comparing Nick Nick Nick Mark Stream Room to Ninjas Shriram Ninja polling has classic. Joe Got Salty as his tweet. You'll congrats to nick. Merck stream basement based on was all caps like definitely beats mine so I think he's being kind of well his a basement minds room. DB Boo competitor Uber Bliss. So that's why I was thinking about taking the Al guys doing his friend kind of I don't know if that world halo term it days I I know like the fight time. Yeah he was like maybe outside grass. What no no? Yeah the big. On strength another Ninja congratulating again folks congratulating Streamer on their achievements. But not actually being at all. Yeah and so if anyone you know this this pretty much took over the Internet twitter youtube for like the whole day. But Nick Merck's you know He. I don't know where I don't even know where he lives. He's in Michigan now isn't as you say he's A. He's a Michigan man he loves. He loves his old Michigan Football Team. College football team and Yes we move to Michigan. He's you know like like you magic from someone is accessible as he does he. You know he's got a nice house and he had had mentioned like a long time ago about a year ago probably like wanting to do this and that and like make a make room in his basement. Where like he's got like setups so like his body's can come over and they can lan or if like his friends you know they they they can stream and he he made it happen and so basically he turned his base word? I know exactly determined his basement into streaming basement. Exactly you know exactly what what you mentioned earlier and you know. He's got his eye just so he's got his massive massive like dopes setup and kind of step back from that. I just think it's still funny and you watch that. Video is again my old. My current setup got a monitor on a five gallon bucket. He's he's is no photos plastic ping pong table from college. I'm like I mail. Ideally ends of dollars cobbled together. This piece of shit set up up like I came to mind. I know and so it's like it's just funny to see all that shit and it's so true. They mentioned something about the camera setup because now it's like now all you connects.

"I don't think anything's going to happen to her with either the SPCA or the or or twitches a whole I think that ship sailed old already so I mean I think it's just lays take action now so I think if something happens again then maybe that's all right this is fourth time whatnot doing something yeah for sure. Yeah which sucks but I mean it is what it is at this point so not a whole lot. We can do by complaining about it. We're to relative nobodies and well you know what our opinions matter due to an extent. Some people Second thing you know we kinda have three things topped on our streamer kind of conversation. The second topic streamers no much more positive really cool cool. You know you know I love Nick. Merck's I think he's great. You know I just I. I can't say that I'm a like a super long time. You're just barely started watching him. Like maybe maybe two months ago but I don't have the history of watching him because I mean he's been around for quite a long time. I don't want them that much. Either I do like 'cause he's been Game with Tim along early so I kind of watch Tim La and I see that he's in squads with Nick and every now and then if you know what I watch this channel more and more now because of it yeah. I just think he's hilarious. I think he's a super positive guy. He's really good force in the world in the gaming world as a whole in the world you know. He's he's very positive he's very supportive. And you know what he recently did so at the time recording this it was last weekend the twentieth of July was. He held a barbecue barbecue from the research that I've done when I looked at it. And and after it's happened no it wasn't a ticket selling thing they didn't they didn't sell tickets for it or anything like that or is basically if you wanted to drive there you partaken partake in the meet up and you know as a barbecue was about three hours obviously he had security draped all over him but he was taking pictures fans and you know there was was food. It was a big barbecue thing like I just think that that is so cool. This this is absolutely awesome. This is what I should be doing using their platform and Guess Fan base and I mean in his his his way terms with his family. You Know He. He's called Ham so yeah and he threw a big family barbecue. You get together. I'm sure I felt like a family. There I mean this is just the pinnacle of what should do. If you're in this position of power of having this may people people who enjoy your join content. Yeah I mean. He had people driving for like eight hours to go to this barbecue. I can imagine a law. People came from far away just because this I mean honestly. I'm surprised that this is kind of like one of the. I'm sure it's happened for life events but I can't really think nothing really comes to mind nine over streaming Hey I'm going to meet up brand might be there. Mike Mushroom through their meet UPS events patsies twitch con e three this now. Hey I'm GONNA do meet at this event and I don't really recall. Any other streamers just setting a random time committee and I think they should do that more often. I'm really surprised at bigger. Streamers don't have like a yearly thing. Were they do that. They just set up a date time place and say hey come making you can and I'll see you then. Yeah I mean so. That's why I kinda had. It had your mark to talk about it a little bit. I honestly let's see I don't think anyone's ever done something like this outside of normal. meet up like you said at a convention. read an event like the World Cup this weekend for example like there's going to be a ton of meet ups then but like you know to do something outside of those big events to do something that's free to do something that's kind of family oriented like barbecue with like you know Yard Card Games. He'd cornhole and stuff like that bouncy houses I think from some of the pictures I saw to my knowledge in the time that I've been watching twitch no stream has really done that you know what I mean. No streamers been that generous to put it on our call I think. Ninja had one random. meet up way back. When he was pinnacle blown up I think he had just he set a date time bad? It's like the only one I can talk to think. Yeah no but was it like just a hey come and meet me and signs and stuff was a hey come here okay well yeah yeah. Hey come meet me hang out stuff for most people. That's fine like the whole idea to like meet. Someone's like Oh my God I'm GonNa meet because I mean we'll talk about this probably a thousand times on this podcast. We met Tim at Patsies two years ago or is the last year two years now. Is I WANNA go here. But I didn't. Yeah and so that was awesome and so you know it's usually enough just to be like hey come to this fucking Arby's and going to be sitting here Bro. Yeah that's usually enough but to add all this extra stuff on top where it's like you can come meet your favorite streamer have a good time with the family your family the streaming family like I just think wh convention not just up did you can I and coming out and I just think it's so awesome. I think it's so positive. I think it's more of what the world needs. I think it's more of what streamers the mentality is something that big streamer should strive for a little bit more. I think that not saying that. They're not generous. Because there are a lot of streamers aiming Dr Lupo is you you know done so much for child cancer research with all streams saint stuff like that so there by all means you know. I'm not saying that. There aren't positive. Forces in stream world there there are tons of positive forces but I think as far as being a positive force and then also taking care of your community like crazy I think this is just is the utmost peak right there I think price set off. Other streamers. Do the same thing. I think this might be like other people. Look at this guy. That's that's pretty good idea which by that I mean I think I think more and more will co star pop up after since this happened. Seem from what I gather was a pretty big success on thing wrong. Went down so I think this will set a take precedent for other dreamers. Do something similar yeah. I don't think I don't think there was any hiccups. I think it went off really well from what I remember eating at. I think it just went. It went fantastically. And it's just. Yeah yeah this is great. I mean there's not a whole lot I'll say besides it's just fucking awesome so what we need. We need some some happy content. Because you're so yeah this is one of them exactly Schumer Schumer Nass yet. Then we transitioned to streamer kind of crying like a little bit dactyl beefs and mean things said about people's stuff. I don't even know if it's a beef so at the time of recording this. I'm I'm sure everyone's probably seen heard the clip of T.. Fu You know getting killed in the trio tournament by Hogg Man and his teammates and you know he basically just was was like. Oh He's grief he. He made a big stink over. Hogmanay briefing him you know and so for those of you watching. Are Those of you listening rather who have watched just the clip. You know exactly what I'm talking about for those of you who are listening. Who Haven't watched the clip? Essentially you know I think to sway and one. Other phase members their fees clicks clicks. Yeah Okay so as T- Foo Foo sway and clicks wherein the trio tournament. That just happened. Recently you know they're out of the zone. The storm is behind them. They're not in the storm but the storm is pushing on them behind them you know sway and TV were on their quad crasher. They set the ramp to basically shoot off and then they start being attacked and you know Kwok Russia gets destroyed. The ramp is destroyed. The end up getting you know dove on and sway and killed by Hawk man. And I don't know the other two kids at Hogmanay was playing with. I'm not sure either on those him but then then you know who starts for lack of better word teeth starts crying about him being grieved. These briefing goes off planning so much which I actually looked up grieving grieving because I'm old and yeah we we need definition because I'm old and I don't think so. Grouping is basically anything intentionally messes up or attempts to fail what another player is doing which I mean isn't that the whole point of the game like you know I would say? The trio had a goal. They wanted to get to the zone. They wanted to kill all the other teams to win so by killing them in general unroll. You're basically doing something intentionally to mess up to make the other team fail and so like in my mind. It's like you know there are no etiquette. There's no etiquette for the game. It's not like Oh okay so the zones closing we gotta wait for every team remaining to get into the safe zone before we start engaging like there is no etiquette. Everyone hold hands around walked in the safe zone is it wasn't here. Start fighting so like there is no etiquette for that. So it's like if I'm out of his own and I see three people you no it's mighty three and two. I looked to my left and I see a team at three. And they're running to his own. If I can get the drop on them I'm GonNa go get them and I'm going to kill him like I mean that's missiles missiles because this was for some big money I I will agree with that if there's just a normal game known online I'd like Yeah Dude what you doing gets to save time like why are you. Come back you're trying to fight me but since it's for cash if I'm a hog man's position I see a team. That's Kinda add a disadvantage. Because obviously he's gonNA cons onto but they're closer zone that hog man was so I'm like all right. I'm playing for some cash. I'M GONNA go for any team. I see take any person. I can to bear my chances to get more money money at this competition. So I don't see Hogmanay and I don't think it was in any wrong with what you did. They saw team took him out with the hopes of make more money. Yeah exactly so like I. I don't think it's problem at all like I just love how Thi Phuc cried so much about it you know grieving. He's briefing blow. If you guys haven't seen this clip go wash ago. He is just the problem with the F.. What at Bro? Come on. What the F. Core they doing these people so dumb? It's like dude. He instantly starts like complaining. I feel like if he didn't instantly start complaining. Maybe try I focus on what the teams fighting game. He could maybe get away with it but I think his mindset was just inside turn off like what the Hell's going on here and he just WanNa complain and yet because I mean it's not the smartest move diving a team as your back like it's not the smartest move but if you can and pull it off kill the other team and still make.

"You know, you hear that sound Q, and you looked up in the sky. So what happened there was this ice, crystal, and you could actually see inside of it. And there's like this frozen ice king in it. And then also hear the sound Q. And all of a sudden, there's this huge like frosty. How Graham guy that appeared? Above you starts like conjuring like this storm, and it rolled in an actual winter's come in like blizzard storm in in real time. You see this thing's in it frost your screen over. And there's just like this blizzard hit the mat McHugh pull up the map. That's the coolest part. I thought the map animated in real time you so why? Expand the green white across the whole map Christian. So the whole thing turned into this blizzard state. So what it introduced was not only tons of snow again, but foggy, you know, blizzard type conditions as well as these, you know, I think there's just called monsters. They're not zombies. I guess the fiend. There's different types of them. But. Anyway, really cool vent from a player's fan base side, unless you're just in it for like like jumping in and out and having fun this cool. Right. It is. But a lot of the player is like, please. We don't want the monsters. We don't want the planes. We don't there's all this. I, oh, I know. I I'm on the four-night eh. Celebrate it anytime. There's update. Nerf this dude that but it is getting sore. They put in every foot the fuck out about, but I will say so there's this balance we've discussed it before other games caster here, there's this balance. Like, there's tons of twelve year olds fifteen year olds eight year olds playing it and stuff like this. I think can be like just super fun. It's really creative. And that's a huge player base their spending money as well. The other side of it is everybody they watch the perceivable competitive side of it ninja Nick Merck's and everybody out there. Nice rifle what's that nitro? He's enough about. But all these players are upset with these changes and honest, I feel like we're hitting critical mass. Yeah, they're they're getting to the point. Where like we keep telling you to stop doing this. You're gonna lose your base. It's big enough game. I don't think that's going to happen that it's not going to be Sunday. Then, but I'm hearing it more than ever as follow a lot of these people. So here following on. This line of reason though is that. I'm talking in general is that a product you think of the streamer biting the hand that feeds them thinking, they're bigger than the product. Are they are they popular because they're really funny or are they popular because they play a really popular game that made them super popular. And it's the ladder. They're absolutely skilled and talented. And that's how they take away from that. Yeah. Yeah. But meaning, of course without Ford. I mean right there games four night. And they're never been something like this really has gone worldwide. We've just read figures roadway mis- mis- worldwide. We just read figures that like some thirty some percent of some player. It was a huge number. Basically everyone is playing for night thirty percent. It's an, but when you think about that every three people that is a gamer, whatever the probably screwing this up that'd be perfect for confidently dot com slash assembly. It was an incredible amount of people playing this billions and billions of dollars in hand. And so there's nothing as big as this. So of course, it made a lot of these folks. But the point is. And we've seen games where the the fan base the competitive players that understand the landscape and they're putting on these tournaments. They're asking please remove the planes. I just can't stand it anymore. And that's all good any until this other game rolls around at the right time. And I would say that doesn't exist right now. And I don't know that is on the rise. But if that was to ever lineup that I'm tired of all this stuff and godlike Roma L, actually, it was pretty sowed when it first launched. Maybe those two things happen. Suddenly you lose like I understand..
