Hey ashley how you doing. Are you being silly. Hello our special guests is right here in the room. Listening to be silly. It is connor connor brennan. He's on the line. He's here to chat with us. This man has been a prominent figure in bachelor nation for the past two to three months. Connor how you doing. I'm great It's pretty crazy eddie. Called prominent by by. Ashley i is. That mean that you've been a fan of the show for a while. Yes i know who you are bench guys. I'm i'm geeking out a little bit. It's great to meet you okay. That's so sweet. So you were one of the people that are fans going into it. So that's always fun. Did you sign up yourself or did somebody sign you up. No i had a friend nominate me last summer Not as a joke. But i always i was like. There's no way i'm gonna get on the show like blah blah blah and then. It ended up happening crazy. You're also believe you're carly what else Room her nannies. Roommate is that right. That's right and that is completely unrelated. How that happened. And it was right. Around the same time that i was interviewing to be on bachelorette might roommate was interviewing carlisle's nanny and around when i left for bachelorette that's not happened was have you ever met her advice She gave me a little bit advice about paradise which was basically just that. It's good to be on the beach. The first day not like coming late moon was pretty good advice. It's it's interesting connor You in today's world of bachelor back in the day like cast members came off and had like careers based on the show nowadays. You don't see it as much you've really stood out like you've you've macaire to people recognize they know in an really from the geico of your time on the bachelorette like you made a name for yourself and The confidence was something. That was always appealing or not even appealing. I guess it was just like something made you stay now. We're gonna get into that because my said on episode That we came out with this Breakdown paradise confidence seems to be waning during paradise Less than her. And i want to know why. But what serves the beginning for you. We love to talk to. Where did you grow up. What was your childhood like. Let's let's get into it. I was hoping to ask childhood. So i grew up in columbia illinois right near saint. Louis had my family's incredible. So i had a pretty amazing childhood Very music based Started playing piano. When i was six years old. My dad's a violinist as well. I have a tattoo violin here for him and he always wanted to take piano lessons when he was a kid. But he had nine belgian sisters so as family couldn't afford it so he had me take panelists instead worked pretty well so just a musical family always plan songs always singing Anti out really really great childhood. We seem like really a left brainer between music and then you have a master's degree in medical physics. And oh and then. Your resume includes nuclear engineer at some points. Yeah so a radioactive materials. Inspector for the state of wisconsin which was pretty wild. And then you transitioned to eighth grade. Math teacher Just kinda stumbled into that. I'd i've been a math tutor my whole life because i love math. I love kids teaching math And so i was working for a tutoring company here nashville and then just found out that a friend of theirs needed a full-time math teacher was given to try. Why not without will high school or middle school. It was a templeton academy in nashville for like a of small private middle school in highschool downtown. It's been a lot of time in national my fiance's so But you know you seem like a like kind of a renaissance man. Like you're up to a lot. I feel like the more. You're one of those dudes that we go grab a beer. Just wanna sit there for two hours in here about all the things you've done with your life What are you at this point. Now would you feel like your path is. Where do you really investing into a great question. yeah i don't know 'cause there's there's so many different things i have interested obviously love music. I'm passionate about it. But i'm also passionate about math and physics of nuclear engineering so right now i'm probably. I don't think i'm gonna go back into teaching. Didn't for a year and it was a hard job especially the pandemic was a really tough job And so. I think i might try to get back into new engineering or look into like some medical sales type thing where i can use like my medical physics degree But then always always musical be part of my life. Obviously in one form another. Feel like you could really do ladies saying that. You're into nuclear engineering. I'm not. I'm not being sarcastic. Like yeah that sounds like a real fancy job. Okay in keeping. Throw that out there more office. Maybe i should be leading with least nuclear engineer. Okay so you get signed up to be on the bachelor. Baya friend of the bachelorette. And then you show up in a cat costume. And we've been saying times in this podcast that you had your finest moment in the cat costume and i feel like this is wrong. Kissed chemistry you've ever had with katie in it would have magical powers. Did you feel like you had like a facade on it was maybe it was the fact that a had magical powers and i got kind of hide a little bit in the catsuit. It just I came out guns blazing and when you're in a cat so you can either. You know be full confidence and go for it or kind of hide and i went for confidence with it But i think that probably one of our best nights was was me and the cat suit. it was just. It was a lot of fun. We're both cracking up It was just funny and that that was the goal of it wasn't it wasn't supposed to be like hey look at me. I'm in a cat suit. It was just a katie laughs. Just wanted to make her laugh. Basically you Describe yourself. You're here hard due to figure out i'll be honest really a bit. I think it's a compliment. Like i would take it and i say that with like You're you're you're obviously very intelligent. You're good looking your musically talented open kassu which can say all those things it also could say the opposite of all those things you never know. How do you describe yourself. Wow that's a great question. I so i had to describe myself. I would say that. I one thing i pride myself on especially on the show was being very genuine And you you you know you hear people saying like oh this person so and so here for the wrong reasons blah blah blah. I came on in my goal. I wanted to fall in love. That's why i went on the show. That's i want both shows. And i wanted to be the fullest version myself. And i did that. I showed up a my whole self my goofy fun loving whatever So i think i would like to say the genuine is is one thing you can say about me. You got a little annoyed. This week are so we here in our hot topics when lance bass at on nick knicks. Podcast that.

Kind of over the radio thing. But it's what we do. This is what we're great at. And like I said you know you put us on a major situation like that. It's No win knowledge. We have now because back when we did our show. We didn't know what we were doing. I will admit it hundred percent. We had no clue how to show. We had no clue how to you. Know how to format things how to you know get in and out and like we know that Shit. Now we've been you know it's like the back of our hand we know what? Hell's going on you know and that's exactly what I told you when I saw you. I don't know what I'm doing honest you know I was on his because I look at you guys. A as professionals as people if people want to start up their own radio station the podcast they need to look at the big boys as a blueprint as they made it work. You don't necessarily have to be like. Oh maybe there's things that they did and could encourage buyers you motivate you to do you know I always. I don't ever try to be better than anyone. It's over. I want to just want to be different from possibly the Baker Board from WANNA be different from big boy. I'm not because that's what makes us unique. You guys were different from everybody and you guys brought and that's why your work. That's why fucking blew up. You know and nobody can deny that. So when I heard the way power was acting toward you guys I I thought you know that was Kinda tricky shit you know why not. Just say hey listen okay. Let's try this out in a school from here. We did we did. We've done enough times and I've told Eric that's it. No more let them fucking fail. Let them do what they're gonNa do and let us use Youtube instagram. All the free access we have a bigger microphone and a bigger radio signal than they will ever have with all of these other platforms out there. It's going to be hard because we're independent but you guys are doing here. This is awesome. Thank you congratulations to everybody involved and takes a lot of work to do what you guys are doing here meaner us letting this is everything you know on our Youtube Channel that we've done we had to learn how to how to make thumbnails. We have all this shit. You know. We've always been like that though. We always figured it out somehow. And we'll figure this out to you know. Also we're all still young enough. Yeah I'm I'm about to refill it to an older man but anyways other than that now besides musical. You don't think you've mentioned off any movie scores that we can you not yet knock you points not yet but we have a lot of a lot of polls in water right now. We're just waiting for a bite or two okay and I know you said you had did a company party would not gonNA still spinning with Jane here and there nick. Dj's more than me. I don't really look for it too much. Because you really kind of two things to you gotta be out either. Meaning people saying people to get gigs. More you've got to have a manager. We don't have either. I don't really care to go out and beg for Gape I'll play. I played a birthday party not too long ago and they paid me better than somewhere is play for four hours. You know so private gigs. Or whatever I'm open to do anything like that and areas gaming a lot follow him mad and he does matter playing madden my onto. Which is pinch bugs zero and pinch bugs Zeros blitz that you use the game so it was like one like for this year when Madden came out that was like the blitz. Everybody's running so that'll be funny just to call my name then the name every once in a while but I'm streaming on twitch. Well might have to buy me an xbox because not playstation guy and out of my house. I'll have four. Tv's for place and the public property between eight or nine hundred books of as well and you know what's funny. I always lost the game before the championship or on the champion. I never fucking one my own but I would say I play with vegetable so I'm GonNa have to take.

"Budget five dollars. Nintendo I've got no Japanese whiskey. No so I don't know man. I think it's I think nice. It was cool to see like pokemon that I knew immediately. I pulled them all the bank out of the bank put him in home and then I just like organize. My boxes found like Pokemon that I've been using for years and years that I know like. Ps Fuck and was just like Yup moving that in there like moving in and now they're in the sword and shield name. You poke Amman cool things I just keep him stock whatever their name could use like. Let's say you had a childhood. Poke him on the U. Bread and you spend all this time. And he was strong. Eric name was like fucking Derek. Yeah Okay and You loaded him up in your bank. Would you find Derek again? Yeah Yep no so you missed out on that whole experience by just keeping neutral names now your ticket you one through nine thousand. Yeah the the way they do it as markings and as an adult like a sophisticated adult. It's marking so You're markings the way that I use markings you can use them multiple different ways but the way I use it as their sick. It's different markings and if it's a six IB pokemon. We're not going to get into the weeds about that. Six hundred very strong very hard to breed takes a long time. You just you know. Hit the six markings and then it's like. Oh there's my six I begin guard. I got my six AV Venus or write your sorting. You're sorting is six markings. Yeah exactly. Yeah so that's that's that's the thing excited like having there's my six Ivy Derek fucking named when I say this Derek. It sounds like a little bit more percival. It seems like After a kind of a controversial release. They've got a little bit of goodwill go on forum with the expansions and I'm looking and home announcement so I'm goodwill is a donation Money Right yes. I understand what you're saying and I I don't necessarily agree that they built up like a lot of goodwill. I think a lot of people are still pissed off with Jordan children. I am to a certain extent. I don't think that it's an. It's not my favorite poem game and I wish that it was better. I wish that this game was better than it is. But you know for what it is. It's it is what it is man and and Pokemon is while you have to always be critical of the latest release The fact of the matter is is that it's such a fucking juggernaut that it's like it's never ending question so soden shield deal see. Yeah and the home What is a pokemon player at spend wise with Pokemon in the lost five months? Okay while you're sixty dollars diehard okay so so you you both versions both versions yes. You're one hundred ten there right. Dlc DLC is thirty A. P. so there is one DLC in the spring in them one in the fall. So that's another sixty dollars. So one seventy and then on top of their fifteen dollars a year so one hundred and eighty five bucks. Yeah in the last five months. Yeah I have found my grocer than fever. Nintendo POK MON. Just got the stamp of gross then fever year. You'RE NOT WRONG. You're not wrong. Liz My mind knowing that like you can go and now on steam pickup arrest. I sub thirty dollars in spend literally this people who've ten thousand dollars in this game competition to throw this out on does yeah okay. I enter the gym on no not digital on This game called Tim Tim. It's like an mo but it uses like Tried and true pokemon mechanics. But I heard that it's like less gross and A lot of fucking people are playing that shit and a saying very good things bolts Conceptually the numbers. We just ran. You could release a game for a hundred dollars. That is a match of pokemon. You'll leave your consumer saving eighty five bucks. Its legacy though. Yeah but I mean that's got to break at some point right like you. The legacy of Pokemon is now becoming kind of gross with them for twenty fucking year off break honestly like I think that that might be underestimating. The franchise like completely do the hundred and eighty five in game. Spend like I feel like still aren't a ton again that's mechanics have not changed and even you yourself on. Soden Shield were like. They DIDN'T UPDATE CHARACTER MODELS. Like their whole excuse was well. I WANNA I wanNA throw this in like this is not defense because I I generally stand by what I said when we initially talked about sword and shield For the most part but I did have to go back to play the three. Yes versions of poke Amman and yeah going from the switch version tobacco three yes version. It's a lot better. It is a lot better but I still don't think that it is like it could have been better for switch. It still let me know lack in the realm of game development then maybe making boundary graphical fidelity. I would pull back on what I said initially and say that this is just a straight three thirty s game because actually looking at three games going back to them does look fucking horrible to the switch. I think overall pogue amounts of a different beast. That's hard to compare it to either. Even OTHER GAMES IN INDUSTRY I. It's hard to say. Well they if they don't if they don't get it in gear they're gonNA suffer because they they've been doing the same shit for a long time like yeah like so. I just I kinda by it. I feel like in. Twenty Years. Jared Skins show up and he's still bitch some stupid fucking poke him on like the banks to bat but he'll still be into it and because they'll give him just enough chasing the dragon if I'm going for it on digital waller is we're GonNa talk much about heroin in this. I don't know Nick Knicks. In a bill will nix what? What is the attack? Lack of understanding of what cheesy snow? It's cold what is it cold when you Untainted ABC.

"nick knicks" Discussed on Other Big Brother
"Welcome to the other big brother podcasts shelby. I A._M.. EXHAUSTED IF I've mentioned at once mentioned in one hundred times if you get a puppy just forget about every sleeping again. It's like having a newborn baby he she I we we woke up this morning. Eh yesterday though for forty so we'll take five fifteen only cow anyway back to the reason you're here back to hearing about big brother back to hearing about all sorts of fun stuff for Instance Day thirty four post veto meeting the kleptomaniacs probably saying why not go against your word with Christy Dis- get rid of Jack is go for that cliff like I got to try to figure figure out in this game a little bit longer sure that would have been a great move. I would love to get rid of Jack but I gotTa do what I got to do so and then knicks like and he has a good point I think kind of a valid point at least make Christie use Sir our maker us at diamond power veto and then that's off the table that's off the board now that's so floating out there and that can come back to bite him in the next week or whenever so you know even if knicker or Nicole or whoever wins the veto and put Jack and Mickey backup well we're done in power veto still floating out there so <hes> we have Bella crying. There's all out audela crying out a lot. <hes> we get <hes> Nick and Clifford in the kitchen and Nick Knicks very upset. He's he's just like we're going home is. Do you understand. WE'RE GONNA lose. We're going to lose the game. This is it we you had your chance. We're going to lose game and it is a numbers game at this point and that could have been a tipping point <hes> but you know it didn't didn't work out as if if here's here's you know cliff so he has Jack There Mickey takes off the block Chris doesn't use her veto honestly kind of amazing to Christie up there. Maybe right right yeah. Why not just take a shot? Take your shot but so I don't know it seems like lift says this is a D._r.. That Nicole Colin Bella Bella Nikola are basically a sinking ship and they are not his path to victory in the game. I think cliffs got overhead on his shoulders and you would have assumed early on I think he's got a plan and I appreciate that plan <hes> Hopi sticks to it then we go upstairs you have some nick and Bella and this isn't a little bit uncomfortable for me because they've known each other for thirty four days but there is a a lot of crime. There's a lot of I love you and bill. I'm so obsessed with you you really I'm so obsessed with you. I hope you win it. Cry Cry cry. Cry Cry Tears Tears. Tears tear says Nick. I just love you so much guys guides tears tears tears tears like it was it was obscene the amount of emotions that we are we're being exposed to in this portion of the show but these these young lovebirds you know May <hes> they're all in so I don't know but then Sevilla does he issues as obsessively Vinci says the most amazing person. I've met INVI entire life. Why is not fourteen get over it? It's a shell manse. I I mean maybe when you get out. We'll see with thirty four weeks days days favor weeks then I'd be like well. Maybe really made a connection but maybe I'm being an old old curmudgeon. Maybe young I love is something different these days but what I was growing up getting <hes> <hes> I did dumb dumb things girls <hes> let's see Jack we have Mickey we have cliff and in cliffs and these are outside and the only people outside into the kind of having a conversation. They're trying not to show that they're having too much conversation. The glitz like listen my words my bond what I live by right right and you know close like maybe I should. We all work together me in the six. No one's going to expect that and then his theory. Is You know off a D._R.. Side maybe they will. uh-huh start to crumble already seen some cracks in the six and that they'll turn on each other and you know Jack and Jack's like we'd consider it because nobody would expect it and Christie Christie comes out interesting thing to me was that Mickey said nothing at least by the added during this entire conversation which would lead me to believe that he's not at on it and Jack is she's saying works which I hope fix up on I don't know and we have another fun. Turn kind of odd friends odd pairing it would seem based on prior Vinson the house but cat and holly all you've gotten to be best friend best best pal and holly is kind of shook by this. She's just like how does this happen and I think it was cat. We have more than just Mickey and common because they both had had relations with Mickey yes I he's been in house thirty four days. He's he's making the rounds. Meanwhile Nick and Bella are like I don't have any more than anything <hes> so so the reason can hollier kind of POWs as they have a history together not directly but they are both <hes> Promo models like promotional models. I guess they were both in the pageant world. I think in cat said that holly was some sort of like Miss Missouri winner or I've missed which she said and I didn't have the compunction to go back and listen but so they're like pals and then they do this strange thing with their Aaron the elmer words reading there in the bathroom but like both who grabbed their chests squishing unlike doing this little little Vance with their chests very strange. There's it's no words there. There's looking other intensely and do his which was very strange all right so we have a nick and fell and Sam or outside playing pool and Knicks GonNa hit the ball and Bellas like let me do it. I got this is like ten seconds. Bella hits the ball no way belt and seeing the ball the same time so different ball both hadn't really hard and they get crack in the born. The balls flies is often it hits <hes> nick in the CROTCH and he goes down and Bellis as Oh my God. Are you okay did you did. I hurt you essentially what she said. That wasn't the phrase he said but that's that's kind of insane. <hes> we have the boat room bill belly and Clifford in there and this apologizing explaining you know hey if I didn't do it. Christie was going to use their power and I and cliff explains that his plan is that he would like to and it was thrilled to hear this that he was thinking this because that's what I was talking about. Last episode was to get a tie normally get five on five tie and then he he was GonNa Send Jack Home. That's his plan. Sam comes in so Bella and nothing happened with Sam. He just kinda entered the room so they I think that's when they dropped conversation. Move Avant another thing bellicose can't come back to have not room now and there's Christine cat and she starts to really lay her plane right. This is her last ditch effort to say in the house to you. Get the tie that she needs five. He says Jackson bigger target WHO's bigger threat. He's a calm beast all that stuff you say about people and running the house and she's like. I don't even have Bella says. I don't even have any trust in the house. I've done so many people wrong at this point that people have definitely GonNa put give it a jack this week and then I'm a target next week which is great logic and tell you stay in the game and if I was cat if I was Christie would be like this is good point. We're going to have a hard time. Get Rid of Jack. Why don't we just do it now? Take our shot get rid of them. Then fell goes over to Nicola Jess lays out the same mm stop and I'm just I was more impressed with Bela selling herself in this few minutes of the episode and I've been all season make she seemed to really take charge and have a clear thought and executed wealth and gave me home and then we go to very strange rate a video package for cliff. That's reckless house and there's a barbecue is married to share in for twenty eight. Years is to kids kids patent in his business switch Sharon such very proud of her cliff cliff hog evidently comes from a famous lineage and I think it was like A. Barbecue may I don't know his dad's name is are you ready for this ready for this. I don't think you're ready for this porky hog. That's his name. Get all poor cow Yang get the bet barbecue you ever GonNa going to go down to porky how he Barak and his mom. I'm no I think she her name was famous as well <hes>. I was stunned that I was already in a video package size. I didn't writer named him so I I needed needed and wanted to research the hawks. Who are these hawks outer body? I didn't but I didn't all right so now. We're going to go to our sponsored segment. I do appreciate you listening. I would love it. If you subscribe. I would love it. If you like the podcast I would love if you wrote Nice words or bad strike some words. If you feel like <hes> we'll come back and a couple of seconds and it's going to be awesome because we're going to have a veto and then a competition all right Ezeiza are.

"The NBA draft is tonight. And if you're not familiar with how it works. New Orleans has the first pick. Memphis has the second pick the Knicks have the third pick. Oh in New Orleans has four pick also because they traded Anthony Davis away and got the Lakers for pigs. So they got two picks right now. Whether they use that fourth pick traded away, who knows. But all indications are the Zion Williamson will be the Williams already want to those wise. I n Williamson will be the first pick overall by the New Orleans pelicans. Why would they trade off? I mean it it got the first pick, but they wanna get somebody. That's already proven somebody, they know because it's a crap shoot. Whatever you draft a kid out of college. Whether he's going to be good NBA player or not then Memphis has your second pick. And everybody's saying they're gonna pick Josh Miranda out of Murray state, which is a good pick. And I think it's even come more to light when they traded away their point guard. Mark Mike Conley yesterday. Utah, that tells me right there, they're gonna get job Mirant open because that works really good. Nick Knicks are proposed by all, I guess, draft experts, they're going to take a Barrett from from Duca Di zion's a roommate or teammate r j Barrett who is a great player. And if, if Zion wasn't in his draft, I think RJ bear would be the number one pick overall. That's just my opinion. Spurs have the nineteenth and twenty ninth pick in the first round. And I checked out like three different muff mock, drafts and three of them have the number nineteen pick. And I hope I don't Butch guy's name because he's going to become as per, and I don't wanna ruin it, but me Yondo. Kevin galli. Yeah. He's a point power forward from Florida state soft more big guy, six ten say plays both ends of the floor very well. Would you know that's important with the Spurs. You gotta play defense and then for the twenty ninth pick two different people. But the one I think is going to get as Luca Semenik from Croatia. There we go. Pop in his foreign players. You know. Loves those euro, so there you go there, that's that's, you know, all projections. We don't know anything nothing set in stone. You never know what this is going to do. They call their name. That's one thing you can always count on. And if you're in New Orleans for the draft tonight. Popeye's just released a six foot ten inch wingspan box for the NBA draft. Because since the pelicans are poised to grab buzz. I in Williamson in the first round in the honor of that, possibility Popeye's Louisiana kitchen debut in a giant six foot ten inch wingspan box comes with seventy seven boneless wings eleven biscuits and eleven servings of fries. Now, if you're not in Louisiana, you just gotta stick to the regular old regular size boxes of stuff. They have. Yeah. Hands off up to it. Yeah. Yeah. And only costs, seventy five bucks. Was ain't bad for seventy seven wings eleven biscuits. Servings of fries. What have we become? We. Now it's only available at the Popeye's on canal street. New Orleans while supplies last. They're expecting a big run on those. Charity. What else is going on driver.

And kind of driving me nuts sitting on a. Twenty five percent or so cash position. Now. Got a bunch of stuff that I'm down in a good amount. And I just hate sitting on all this Kathy in my early thirties. I'm not worried about. Yeah. So if I worried about stupid about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, my commentary, first of all, was I still left the note on there for fifty fifty five and older. But aside from that. I think that you ought to be going into those positions. And that are down. Obviously, I would look at any of the foundational stocks that you had have any foundational stocks. Absolutely. Yeah. I didn't get rid any of those. And one of those is the second largest loser of the year of all the industrial stocks and men, I, you know, I hope that you're going to dollar cost average into that one, and I would shake take a look at some of the by list, and where we are with that today and on Monday as well. Particularly Monday in the technology side of things. So I think this is a you know, I think we are. I don't want to say that we are at the bottom because I don't think we are UC what happened. Last last week. I don't believe that we are out of the woods, but I do believe that when it's just a matter of time when we get some deals with euro-zone, Mexico, China and Canada and get those things resolve I think it's going to be a huge plus for for the markets and for the economy. So I think if you're a young person if you're under fifty. I'm saying everybody. Listen, if you're under fifty man, you know, you wanna you wanna say strong on those on those positions, you got to have some cash obviously, but you don't wanna have too much, you got to be invested and look, I long as as young as you are. I wouldn't have any problem today. I don't know what's going on here today. I see everything is green, but I can't can't see the numbers Dow's up one hundred thirty five I see now, so that's only a third of. Percent. So I think that, you know, even now is a good time to be weaning in starting to get get get in there. With some of that profit that you did take and, and buy into especially there's foundational stocks that you're down. L many of those foundational stocks per sector recommend, I know about three to fix no, you know, of target for total assets. But what about foundational Nick? I don't, unfortunately I can't I don't have a foundational stock in every sector so I would love to and I worked towards that. And I I'm sure I will one day but I don't I don't have a mean most of them are utilities materials industrials those kinds of sectors. And I do not have a problem. If you have to foundational stocks in a sector as long as is harder to do this, in the energy sector as long as they're not doing the same thing. For the, you know, I wouldn't want you to have to stocks that, and this is true mostly in the material section is where you're going to have to look out for because you're going to have so material companies that are doing the same thing. But they're both in the exact same sector. They just make or same industry. But maybe producing different things, but they're going to react, the same way. So I would be careful in, in the material section. Sector, especially perfect the last comment. Yes, should here with respect to mutual fund. Yes. So I like probably a lot of your listeners have qualified non qualified accounts. Qualified account is already capped out for the year. So I can't add me more cash to it. So once that cats cats position is, you know, at my limit if you will, I can't invest in those assets anymore. Only do it. My non-qualified accounts. Putting a lot into at the moment. Yes. I'm focusing that on the mutual fund yet lifted because it seems to be the most sense. Right. Of Madden too it every month. I might as well. Does every co now here's a question. What is on my asset allocation model for my age bracket? You have mutual fund on there that are not on the by list obviously they're approved list. You know, I don't really understand not buying into a mutual fund of add X dollars a month or a quarter or every two weeks. Yeah. I don't wanna go insecure. Don't binding on the wall. But it seems to maybe past the commonsense test, and then my last comment year is it worth respect to the mainly coal the? Aggressive of the two. I'm i'm. Looked at all the holding extensive. It's impressive and part of me being a former index fund guy before join your plan was man, that seems like something out of throwing a lot more assets at again, my educated thoughts and I'm looking for some input. So here's the thing, Nick, you're right about that fund. It is so much like an index fund. It is basically, the desire of that fun was to be an index on without the sin socks. We'll, we'll say that without the ones that aren't Biblically responsible. So, you know, instead of Coca-Cola might have Dr Pepper. You know, those kinds of they were trying to find places and that was part of that. And that's what you got. There are really good a really good fund broad abroad fund. That is great concern that I have with it. With, with your, your thoughts about that is, you gotta be careful because you don't want to get overly waited in, in your overly diversified. And so you're getting a segment of diversification in that fund in that you're getting diversification. So then you have to start questioning if it makes any sense whatsoever to have any individual stocks, if I have some great individual stocks already in the. PF and you've got to be careful because if you get overly diversified it's going to hurt you overall portfolio. Now it's going to help the overall portfolio in the up years, but it's not going to protect your portfolio in the down, and it's not gonna give you as much upside momentum if that you would have if you weren't so diluted in some of those physicians to got to be careful that I agree that any look any mutual fund, any of those ETF that I have in your case, particularly the more aggressive one. Is going to work really, really well over the years. If you're continuing to contribute to it, everybody talks about performance of XYZ index fun. But what they never mentioned. Is that the vast vast, vast majority? I'm going to say to the point of ninety percent of the assets in those funds are coming from assets that are in qualified plans where people are contributing on a regular basis. So the benefit of dollar cost averaging in all the time is just magnified so much. And it's one of the reasons why it's a good place to be. So I'm you know, I'm okay with you saying, you know what? I'm just going to stick with that with my with my asset allocation, model and put as much in that as..

You know, I don't really understand not buying into a mutual fund. Add X dollars a month or a quarter or every two weeks. Yeah. I don't wanna go into your don't binding on the violence. "And you know, they helped put them in hotels and they can travel with us, and there's always buses to the games and buses to practice. Like team family dinners after games. It's incredible. They feed you and whoever else you wanna bring with you. You know, they'll closer restaurant down after the game. And so I it's second to none, you know what I mean? But you don't hear agents or different. You don't you're agents around in that close. I could be wrong. I just was never really paying attention to let let's talk and move off the Lakers dysfunction. I want you to take my audience our viewers in our listeners when you're with the warriors, I was saying in the break. It's like it's like traveling with a great successful band, like the eagles in their prime or you too. It's going to be sold out. You're very successful. There's a certain confidence you had so much success on stage before of all your travels, clippers Lakers kings magic, Grizz son, Nick Knicks, tell me about traveling with the warriors during the playoffs. Offs knowing how great, you were knowing the success. You've had just travelling in mostly about the players. What was it like? I just never seen anything like it was obviously a situation with the team they have acquired in the superstars and the personalities. But the fan, the fanfare was incredible. You know, but at the same time it was always focused on what we had to do or the team to focus on business. You know, it was it was never distraction off the core going out before game like they knew that they were in the finals to win a championship. That's the only thing the matter. So going on the road. I know for fact doesn't matter this team. They understand, you know, Toronto's a tough place to play too young crowd. There's dealer still talking about Drake. Whatever the situation may be. But they know they're going in there to win two games. You know, most teams thing we're going to go in one game. Golden State's going in. They're talking about, we're gonna win both games in Toronto, and it's a confidence. It's not cockiness. They just they've been there. They've done that even though they're short shorthanded is the next man up mentality and these guys will be ready to play on Thursday. It's weird. Sometimes I noticed this year with the warriors. They have some. Ugly losses at home. I almost wonder if playing on the road in a weird way doesn't galvanize you this more focused got everyone against you. You're not as comfortable, you know, you have to come out and know that you're the warriors, and you're getting the best shot in the crowd is always a, you know, the posing crowd is always going to get on you. So I think is just the process you know, they've had a couple thirty point losses and streaks of losing during the season. This is not the same team. This is not these people have just been they know they're gonna be playing till June every single year. So it's a it's a marathon, not a sprint and they know now is what they've been waiting for all season. You know it's funny now that the play offs we have the finals. I like Anthony Davis. Unlike most bigs. He's great at the free throw line. He's a great free throw shooter, but, like great touch, but like most bigs. He's not a ball handler. He's not controlling tempo. And I don't trust him shooting outside, and I watched Janas get marginalized and I watch him go, and I've seen this with Dunkin' it was shack. I've seen it with all the greats. Yet in these postseason free-throw moments I just don't trust. And it's not that I'm anti-big, but could I make the argument Karl Anthony towns Rudy, Gobert, Anthony Davis Jaanus? There's a little shine off it when you watch Janas get pushed around by coli coli be so trustable late Yoenis really erode the line. I'm not anti-big. But I wonder if when you look at Anthony Davis today, do I say to myself, I've seen that act in the playoffs that things not getting past the second round like do you still? Would you still want a Bradley Beal or an Anthony Davis given a choice? If you can see I'm a Beal guy..

"I also saw this yesterday. David fizzed, Dale, the Knicks head coach joins us in the man cave. And he was great a lot of fun. The headline writers maybe stretched it a little bit with what he had to say, David phys Dale confirms. Knicks would take Zion. Williamson number one talks free agent strategy. I don't think he I don't think he confirmed it. We're pretty sure that he didn't. Here's another one David fishtail says Knicks would take Zion. Williamson number one. I don't think. So I just said do, you know, who you're going to take if you win the lottery, and he said, yes. And then I'm trying to steer him towards saying. Something about Zion. Williamson he gave us very little. He was very entertaining. But I didn't think there was a declared if statement there. Yes, paulie, Patrick says Fidel kools on Diane draft pick. Yes, see member when he did that whole thing about his plan for getting Kevin Durant. I mean, he detailed that. Oh, yeah. That by step in the interview yesterday. Yeah. Told you exactly how he's going to recruit him. I still think that Durant is an ending up with the Knicks. But if Kyrie's part of this if they win the lottery would if they don't win the lottery what if the Knicks have the fifth overall pick. Let's say that's the worst. They can have. I believe let's say they go in to Nick Knicks land, and they get the fifth pick because there's a big drop off in one two and three it feels like and certainly maybe even four and now there's talk that let's say the Knicks get the second overall pick. Would you trade the second overall pick for Ben Simmons with the seventy Sixers, mclovin? I'll let you chime in on that since you're seventy Sixers apologised, or at least I thought you were. Yeah. No. I mean, they're my second team behind the Milwaukee Bach. Oh, now, they're second flirting with the nuggets. Now that Katie is hurt too, by the way. Okay. So we say say the trade again, let's say the Knicks have the number two overall pick. Yeah. They miss out on on. They can you can get RJ barriers. I or John rent. If the seventy Sixers have you seen enough Ben Simmons where you would go off. Okay. We'll trade Ben Simmons for the number two overall pick because we love the unknown. We don't know Ajami Iran is. But I can't believe I'm saying this. I would keep Ben Simmons. Okay. And I'm not I'm very critical about how he plays. Now. He's not aggressive, but I still have to keep this is from Nate silver. And he says extremely random NBA thought if the Knicks or some other team looking to rebuild on a quick timetable land the number two or number three overall pick. They should trade it to Philly for Ben Simmons. It's bringing rip Hamilton covering the playoffs. If former NBA player college greatest well, rip good morning. How are you? Good morning, Dan. How you doing, bro? I'm doing. Okay, good. Have you back? I was worried my Booker fritzy put RIP and he put it in capital letters. And I thought something had happened to you. But but you are you're good. You're healthy. You're safe. Right. I'm healthy. I'm saved. And actually, I'm still looking for you from that. Last interview. We did where we wanna championship. And we still got a bed going on about.

I love language, I would go there. I go there all the time. I love it there. And it's not as expensive as some of. I mean, it's expensive. But it's not as bad as I would say like California grill or like, what's another really really big one. Like Narco sees or something citric. I think it's like kinda like on the lower end of that. But it's still really really good. And it's still consider considered signature dining, but I loved it. It was very good. But let's get to the real meat of the crack immediately to the meat of the thing because we've been waiting for BRAC what you know that has. Wide were George Hasbro should we wear and it was also it was. Why I I wanna go. I don't know. Like, I said when I go on my next trip. I definitely would do some things I've never done before. But I am also super stuck in my ways than I am one hundred percent guaranteed to just go to the parks each day. Go to Disney springs at all. When the first day, I get there. Well, okay. When I went with my mom. Yes. Like when I went with my mom when I went with my cousins, basically when I go with other people, I do only because we generally use my. My Disney might military Disney. Tickets go there to activate them, you know, they just drove in our flew in. So we kind of just meet there. Then we go to the parks the next day. But since man I have gotten our annual passes as we get to the hotels, we shower, relax. And then we go to Epcot for drinks and dinner. Yeah. Since then the the days after that, we go to the park and do the parks hard. But the first day we typically go we do go to the parks. But I I wouldn't say we technically go to the parks. We'd just really go for dinner and drinks. So we actually did this between parks. We went to this was the whole Pandora saga. So we are a reservation our brunch was at one or you can do it at twelve 'cause 'cause you could go I guess even earlier in Goethe, whatever park and then get so we did this in between parks. So we did we went to brunch after animal kingdom in went. There. Went back to ruins got ready, then went to Epcot. So you could do it between parks. PS saying yes, by the way. But I mean, this is brand new it just started at the beginning of April brunch. Wine bar, George. I was so so excited because the big big draw for everyone to go to wine bar George for brunch. Is that they have the dole whip mimosa in? They had the deliver for Scotto. Please tell me you tried those both all I only had the for Scotto. So here's what happened. And I think it was not on purpose so happy what happened was is. So funny. My best friend says. My best friend. I know so money. So the dole whip mimosa is Joe whip the Scotto in the for Scotto is when I say dole, pineapple pineapple, vodka and mascot. Oh. So I ask them which one should try. And I think he got confused and brought me the frozen one. 'cause I didn't actually want the frozen one. However, I think we've been talked about talk about you win. Yes. And I ended up getting the frozen, which was totally fine. Because in the end it was wildly delicious. I had to while we were sitting and eating, and then I they give you they give you one to go 'cause it's like open container around there. So I got one to go mind, you I was getting very sick. At this point. Like, I was just doing everything I could to keep my spirits. But it was very good. Nick, one a cat who is he had some kind of white one. I don't know what a square pineapple. So that's the whole reason behind that one. But. But I think he did at one point kit like a screwdriver like orange juice parka, but we had the MAC and cheese bots, yum, which are always still very delicious in so we asked because like there's we were going through the menu. We asked our waiter what you know, what he recommended, and he said that the Mediterranean omelette was people say people are saying that it's, you know, the best home with her life, and we obviously next huge Benny van Benedict. So we got we got benny's in. Then we got the omelet, and we just split, and they were both very very good. So highly recommend a lot of them. Nick Nichols, doesn't really Nick does not like salt. He's not a big salty person. I am personally fraud. A person is I don't understand. I never add salt to food. I mean outside of it being cooked. So like, I'll add the Salt Lake that's appropriate when I'm cooking. But I don't ruin add salt afterwards. Neither does neck. I could I could say I do that also. Yeah, it's funny. 'cause like Nick Knicks family does do the at salt everything really what? But an and I grew because my dad's had heart issues for a lot of my life. So we don't eat with a lot of salt at home anyways. So I just ever really grew up. So so Nick thought the food was a little salty. Yeah. I mean, I guess we kinda was, but I do think it was that bad. But will think things are more salty than I will. And I think I think that has something to do with his tasty thinks so too is I I have that problem with matinee idol, he'll he'll like something that was way too salty in. I think it's just we picked up the salt differently on our on our tongues or pallets if you will because I. No, even with with cookies like if people make homemade chocolate chip cookies, I can taste the salt that they put into it. And I can tell if there's too much so yeah. Yeah. I think some some it's tricky. He's take. I use soy sauce. Swiss us or worship Cyrus sauces, a really good salt supplement because it has like a fourth of the amount of salt that even soy sauce. Does interesting. I mean, I do like your sauce. I've never thought about that interesting. Yeah. To put it on my body on you're potty on my palm my body.

Which one you talking out the official Hasbro third party one third party. No, you can't get that at WalMart. I won over my friends, Nick Knicks house and pick. So they did have to pick it up. Yes. But he is absolutely beautiful. I what what is it? It's you don't know. What that is. No, I'm asking for the podcast listeners. Who can't everyone has also how are we supposed to know? Who's branded is even fans toys road king? Yes. It's Motta's motor minister and even stickered a month already. He looks pretty good. I west for the others take on his chest. What is that? They kind of look like it. But I think they're just purple details. Clear purple details. I really like it looks really good. I scream. On the transformation because I haven't transformed it. But the whole trailer is basically in this backpack, or the panels on the fact, there's gonna be a l- there's I'm really excited actually be able to have time and sit down and transform it. Unfortunately, it's not going to be tonight because the podcast it's not gonna be tar night because endgame, so hopefully Friday, I'll have some time to sit down and actually that you say fans toys fans. Okay. It looks great. He is it really looks pretty heavy to like, I'm not sure what retail on this is. But I know it's cheaper than MP forty four. And what isn't one of those where the scales have tipped and third party is like. Admittedly, admitted think this value for your money. But I think it's artificial. I think the car could charge less. They're just not. Yeah. Talking about how to cover charge less. You sell the trailer separately that's occurring Toby while exclusive, but everything is just becoming ridiculously expensive at this point and still how many how many repaint MP tended. They do. They don't lose them. Right. So I mean, they're gonna get their money out of the mold if the if they play their cards, right and put the price halfway decent that that increases the amount of people who wanna use that. And and re reuse that mold. So I don't know. What do I know? I'm just saying that's a good question though, about the MP ten Redick owes. Yeah. So what else do you get again that looks beautiful? I also, well the other thing I also the picture in the car that you know, I gotta get to the car. And then once I get to the car. I'm like, oh, I gotta take a photo. I got the no thanks to Don. But I did get it from WalMart. I got the leader class Optimus prime siege. What is he is? He the cyber Tron galaxy upgrade the job. Optimus? Yeah. It's okay. It kinda reminds me when you know, something build with popsicle sticks. Maybe not maybe not the robot. But the vehicle mode feels very popsicle stick. I totally get that just kind of I kind of get that too. It's is it is it the wings in particular that feel that way to you the wings and the the little there's like a a small stick in the center that supports the front piece to the back piece. And they're it if you would basically open up the wings. That's all you would see is that one that one stick or Julie? And it's it's just it's very it's very hollow vehicle. Actually, if you open it up. Gotcha. Yeah.

They'll take sophomores out of college Nick's going to be losing twelve kids a year half is recruiting class. So he's getting ahead of this. And creating a narrative he he's not that worried about guys not being rich enough. He's worried about the future his program. Yeah. I don't know that it's. Going to be an overwhelming amount of kids that are going to go to the XFL right away. I think a lot of guys still want a good college experience and a lot of guys want to make it to the NFL. Can prove that it's a pipeline to the NFL. I don't think like not every kid is just going to ignore. Every piece of good Mon that said, it's really cute of you to say, oh, you know, he would have been making millions and millions of dollars more had next year. Yeah. He also could've blue both of his knees out or any other number of catastrophic injuries could it which could have dropped his his draft grade, even lower and those are the chances that you take and I'm just very difficult for me to listen to coaches who make the money that they make telling kids, and you don't know what their background is. And what family they have to support her? How what kind of money situation they have and their current situation or aside from the fact of not being paid to play football in the current moment. But just know has up going to the NFL just know that what Nick is upset about is being talked about behind the scenes when the XFL came out and said, we've got no age limit next. Not dumb. Knicks like this is strategic. He next like, I got guys in my program, Washington. Doesn't UCLA doesn't Perdue doesn't. But Nick Knicks program. You could even if it was only four guys a year that left as sophomores not juniors combined with the juniors who leave that's eleven guys. And by the way, would Nick every year. It feels like there's one more guy that leaves early. So by this college basketball coach has been dealing with now for like ten years. It's hard. It's very difficult to have to like bring in a bunch of kids teach them the system make the chemistry work one of the advantages. Nick Sabin Daboh Sweeney have over coach Calipari is you get a kit again and again and again by the time he hits the field. You know, he's part of your system. You're not you're not like the time most kids by the sophomore year in college system, they figured out the system now they don't play. I don't know it just it kind of feels a bit disingenuous to me. I I I get what he's trying to say. But I mean, Crimea river these kids are getting an opportunity to go and play professional ball earlier and possibly go onto the NFL. I mean, just that's the reality of where we are in the world. All right. Top of next hour where Colin was right or Colin was wrong. We are loaded today. Also next hour, I'm going to try to get it in. We have our own NBA regular season awards NBA season regular season ends officially on Wednesday playoffs..

"Us news. Are we talking about these two? What's shown because they want us to talk about them at shown us is a Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas now fake celebrity marriage. Exactly fake. And I know you don't buy whatever you like, why would anybody do Cassandra money does everything Oriole for months we've been expecting that? There would be some sort of announcement about a reality show, featuring Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra because we'd heard blind items about that. And we you know, we thought well they've got to be doing this for something. They're just trying to advance their careers, and we know that they were trying to push some movies. And now, Nick Joan. Is pushing his big family reunion tour with his brothers now called Jonas. No longer the Jonas brothers. Well, guess what? Okay. It's not quite a reality show. But go with me because there are some threads that are going to tie together here. Okay. They just announced a new documentary. That they've partnered with Amazon studios to stream all about the Jonas brothers and their new tour. Okay. So let me step back. So that's the headline today. Right. They're going to do a documentary with Amazon studios that all sounds very official. That's interesting. If you love the Jonas brothers, no doubt. You'll love the Jonas brothers band gets back together documentary. Right. Can we please take a step back to the very beginning? Of Jonas, Jonas talk. Okay. What were we alleging was the purpose in part of the fake marriage between Priyanka Chopra, or at the very least very very lucrative marriage between Priyanka Chopra Nick Jonas that they were going to try to get a reality show out of it. Thank you. Yeah. Okay. Exhibit number be, correct. Thank you Perry. Mason. What do we now? Call reality shows on TV documentaries docu series exhibit number. A c one didn't we call like, Lindsey Lowe hands document or reality show documentary series? Yes, is this is just this is going to be the the reality series that we expected all along exhibit number are cute. Two five on five or so anyway. Did you catch? What studio this is Williams on and it's going to be streaming wear Amazon, and what does Chopra have a partnership with Amazon how about that? Do you see it's all? Backflip these two in itself ache, and blah, blah, blah. They just love each other. It's okay. No. This has been the goal. Among other things, you'll call the reality show sucker too. By the way. That's also the title of the Jonas brothers new album jokes on all of you. Yeah. Exactly. Also who produce their album? I wonder. Do you have an answer to that? Am I being tested? I don't know in any case. That's actually a really good question. I'm gonna find out please look that up. No, this we've been waiting for something like this to happen. And we started speculating about this. Well, first of all we started hearing blind items about it. But when they released that drone footage of the wedding and all of the extra footage that they had window. The people magazine did some sort of. You know, like webcast about it. So we knew that they were gathering it for that. But they had all this film of the wedding of the, weddings. If you think they're not gonna use it in this all four remember that? We also got the news today that one of them one of the people's is getting married, and we know details, which are the next ones to get. Zoe show, you Chanel turn. Sophie Turner is getting married to join us today. The headline wise that we now have details on their wedding. So there's this now coming next, and the headline wise that we have details, and it is based on what like it was like, what are the lessons that Joe learn from what Nick Knicks wedding Supriyanto? So that's the next chapter. Also, can we just talk about the fact that sucker the Jonas brothers new single video of which is what they're three trailer for their lives. And I don't mean like a trailer park. Although. But so the album or the single they just released came with a trailer that starred the three of them the Jonas brothers. I think the gonna say something Kevin and his wife have already had a reality show up. They already had a reality show. Then we of course, had Priyanka were getting married who are married who were getting there. I'm saying they they were getting married focus. So like were marching towards this thing. Right. And then they dropped this video. And now there's going to be another wedding. So you've got all of these things that will now be a part of this reality show that they're calling it documented because remember we don't call reality shows reality shows anymore. They're all called like limited series documentaries. So this is just all one big like, yeah. It's a circle. Yeah. And. That stars Steve Martin. It's a pretty funny movie, right? Yeah. I want to add that the producers of this new song sucker by the Jonas brothers. They're just a pop hitmaker. So it's not any buddy that you would probably know, but they have worked with everybody who's big. I'm just saying with these you can smell it a mile away. They're going to be product tie ins. And again, you know, it's kinda like that thing we do with Kylie Jenner people get all animated like, well, she's a successful woman. You're just hating on her success. No. I just want you to understand that things work a certain way, and this particular thing because if you love them, you don't care about any of this. But for the rest of us who are sitting back going like why are we talking about Jonas brothers? Again. Why are we talking about Nick and Priyanka like honestly in a world where there are so many more fascinating celebrity stories..

"Welcome back to the Mike Bray radio show live from aerobics public house. Please welcome junior guard, Nick Joe go. But remember he has two full years of eligibility remaining after this. Twenty one points career high against BC to kinda start to turn this thing around. Absolutely, absolutely just. You know, an amazing there. And and you know, Nick Knicks is his third year in our program. He knows how to play. He's got a great feel for the game. The ball moves. Well when he's out there. He's an underrated defender with his size and length, and he's a heck of a defensive rebound, and you know for him. He's had a great attitude all year. I respect him a lot, you know, some of the younger guys were playing the minutes early. And he was a bit of the odd man out. But he kept hanging in there. He wasn't happy about it, which you shouldn't be because he's a competitor. And then when he's asked to deliver he's been delivering for us. So I'm I'm really thrilled for him. And he deserves it we duck nothing on this show. You had a lot of opportunities last year. It didn't play as well as you wanted to. I know coach really wanted to play Carolina. You wanted to play so bad out traveled twice. And couldn't let you play one was one was what was it back? Yeah. I agree. I agree with Jenny anyways. I mean, we debated it back and forth because Zach and I didn't like it. But you were playing so quick. It was a bad traveled. You just wanted to be out there almost bouncing off the walls, and you've suddenly sense. Then you've Harnish the energy in a positive. So that it's still there, but it's under control. What have you done? Just basically kind of trying to really really slow down when I'm playing because like you said, it's kinda evidence. Sometimes that I get sped up. And it's just like it's just a habit. I had when I started playing here and playing at the different level quicker, guys know, everything was so exciting, and it kind of got ahead of me sometimes especially as of late. I just kind of really try to focus that energy in slowing down making the right place and doing the right thing at a much slower pace. You also said you started to meditate how does that help? Pre-game when we're doing little stretches and stuff. Sometimes I go away from everyone back in the locker room, and I just kind of sit to myself and slow down and just think about the game. And think about what I'm about to do. And kind of really let's me focus before I start warming up in Keene in on the game. I'm assuming from the fist bump that you meditate as well. Yeah. Bit something that my family is really gone into especially as of late with everything my mother, but definitely one of those types of things I see a lot of me because when I first came into the program, I was super fast and everything I try to do, you know? He he understood all of that. But like the things that I see really well that he's been doing to kind of calm down is that he's defending really hard and he's going for this defensive rebounds, really hard. I think that really comes down a little bit when it comes to the office event, and he's really been able to kind of keep that altogether. And now he's being able to play at that pace that he wants to now your freshman year. I don't even remember this. But I asked you how you scribe yourself. And he told me that he was the Swiss army knife because he does so many things. Well, would you agree with that? Right. Yeah. I agree with that. You know, he's always shown it every day in practice. He's always being active on. He had the difficult or difficult situation again where we didn't really have another point guard playing for the blue team gets the white team in practice, and he had to take over this responsibilities. And I think he really learned in grow grew tremendously during that time in his decision making and everything like that. So I think this is the time where he's really going to take huge step in his game. How comfortable are you with your game right now? I'm much more comfortable, and I wasn't year ago now, but I mean, I still feel like I have a lot of strides to make and what I can do in game. I mean, it's just going to be a process and trusting at all, and like you said I still have two years, and there's still plenty of time to grow. So I'm I'm happy with the progress. I've made but there's still much more to do big deal back in your hometown. Up in Hamilton Ontario that you are playing at Notre Dame. And I know you really embrace that you feel it's not just you representing Nick jogo or the jogo family. You believe you're representing a very important university. You're always keep that in your mind. Every time you're on the floor. Of course. I mean, this is you know, it's not about you. It's Lovie representativeness university represents something greater than all of us. And we have never turned from Canada, which many people don't have to be able to play at a school. Like this not only play about getting education different place like this. And just, you know, do as much as I can for my family really means a lot to me. And you know, I'm grateful to have this opportunity coach you recruited him in person. But you didn't really go there to look in. You went to look at a guy named fon maker. But somebody jumped out when you were looking at the heck with John maker. Right. And a great story. A great story is. Yeah, we were up there and coach Solomon. I, you know, we're watching the workout and he just kinda has growing on you. And he he gets his head split. He gets an elbow in his head splits. And he goes back in the locker room. And and I told coach said I talk to him, and, you know, coach said, well, this is kind of who's recruiting them. So I go over and sit down with him on the Bleacher, and he comes out in the trainer must have left. I'm gonna I'm gonna I want you to picture this as a roll of toilet paper. And so there was nothing to stop the bleeding. So he and I are having a conversation. He's got a roll of toilet paper right in the middle of his forehead. And I'm saying now about our Mendoza business school. Yeah. Yes, coach. Yes. I researched. It was in blood. That was our. Yeah. Got a big just a full role ATar, the paper stopping the bleeding, and he was visiting northeastern. And I said don't do anything crazy because I want you to visit next weekend and it worked out great. And he he's just he, you know, he has been a great investment in in our Mendoza school and getting better in a gym rat. And and just there's a lot to work with their. He's got a great physical package that not a lot of guys are blessed with a lot to work within like you said, he's got two full seasons left after this. And we don't have enough time on the show to run down the list of guys who have struggled a bit as almost all college players do and then have blossomed in the eighteen months before they graduate. But it requires some patients it does. And and we've been fortunate and it's not easy. It is not easy. I mean, many of those guys you know, that that are fans remember watching that maybe didn't get a big bite of the apple plan time wise till? Sophomore junior year, they had tough times. And they thought we'll maybe I should transfer. And and you spend time with him and the assistant spend time with a menu trying but what's helped us is. They've seen. What's come before them? They've seen guys, you know. Okay. That did happen that didn't. And now he's starting and having a great junior year. And we've had a lot of that. And so that what's come before him has helped me show them. There's a plan. If you hang in there. We don't we we really don't recruit over you. We invest in you, and we try and get you better. We'll read church if we had we let let's just keep working on this thing because we feel we got a lot to work with. And he's certainly is a great. Yeah. He's a young prospects. Still with two full seasons left. What came before you've also seen a couple of guys say, you know, what I'm not playing now. And I'm out of here now remain nameless. They gotta do what's best for you. But both of those guys would have had tremendous opportunities. These unforeseen when they made their decision had they stayed. What has made you? I have never heard a whiff that Nick Jogos thinking of going somewhere else. Yeah. I mean, I just, you know, manic commitment outside of basketball with basketball on you know, I said when I came here that I was going to play Notre Dame finish out. My my career Notre Dame and partly it's because I can play. Well, and I know it's not like I'm going to practice every day again like I don't belong here. It's not the case. Still remain confident. And I just know that I'm to have chances and opportunities to continue to prove myself and kind of confused the drive me and know takes away the idea of transferring really out of my mind, and you're in the Mendoza college of business management consulting major. How is that going? It's good sophomore year was really tough kind of drowned in different classes, finance accounting and whatnot. But now with my junior year really starting to specify into our major classes for management consulting. And it's been interesting. It's much easier to to sit in the classes and listening. When it's something you're learning that you actually want to do when you're older and helps a lot when it comes to studying just kind of paying attention. Just the word accounting gives me a headache. That's right. Hire the people to do it. So it's a good profession to be when we come back. Maybe I'll have you two guys run the fast break back. Sounds good. All right, right. After this time out on the Mike fray radio show live from the only time you contact your insurance company is when something bad happens but at west bend. We try to.

"Hour. News Radio eleven ninety. It's it's actually uncanny. Everything Kermit guys. Nell was convicted of murder for doing has been legalized in New York. Gosnell was convicted this movie about this guy. Nick Knicks movie. He was convicted of killing infants that had already been born now legal in New York. He was convicted of allowing untrained and unlicensed non medical people to perform abortions. That's now legal in New York. You could aboard up to the due date. But now that's not even necessary. You're gonna born afterwards. So why even mess with this? Why even mess with the abortion aspect of this? Kermit Gosnell always maintained that he was innocent that he was a head of his time someday be exonerated and New York. Just did it. Just. "You put them twenty seven seven and seven and you do that fifty five times in eighty two game season. Like that to me is so much more impressive than triple double. I was watching Knicks blazers the other night. It's a sad statement about your life right there. What? Nick Knicks blazers they're night. I hadn't realized this. I believe it was nurtured. Mike Rian the legend was saying how nourish recently had a five by five game. Which if that happened? I somehow just missed that box. And he was saying the five doesn't get enough. Attention. Like we go over these five by five is king. Crazy a five by five game you frame the box score the jersey war that night at like that that's a once in a like Jaanus hasn't had a five by five game. And he's like he is built literally constructed with limbs and jumping abilities built to get a five by five still hasn't had one. We a cool one. I don't know how we're gonna remember this year yet. But I think the actual regular season has been the year of just the incredibly goofy box scores where hardens doing things that just have no correlation to it gets to the point. You look at the bucks where like hardened nine of twenty three from. Like, my brain just goes right by and then I have to look back Milly. No, that's a that's a two and three next to each other. And it represents how many three pointers he took in one game. Like, that's insane. And we should talk about them in a second. The only thing the only other thing I would say about going state. I still don't like their six seven eight nine guys that much, and I really do weirdly think they need boogie. I do think they need them. I like I like, obviously has the fifth. Gerard co you, and I've always enjoyed other than that. I don't trust anybody. I relate out. I don't trust one other guy on that bench. I would like to see them play Utah in the playoffs only because the Jared code jazz tension for like one season the juridical revenge game or tipped it in it. I love when random guys just harbor a grudge against the team. They were on for like a month. They're just like I still hate that team going after that team, by the way, speaking of weird five ban lineups Utah has. That one lineup that favors is an end that they're pushed minuses like plus eighty or you it's like way it's like the Rubio Mitchell crowd angles Gober. Yeah. So that's why I don't want to physically write them off yet as a first round. No. If you told me upset pick if you told me right now, look at the standings that they're twenty and twenty one in their ninth. If you told me right now, they got into the four five series. Now, they're five games while I'm out of that. I don't think that's crazy either sixty two one so one more trade to make like Korver was the first step, but they could get I I'm still not sure they need favors. And it'd be interesting to see if they flipped him because he's got a pretty big contracts. So not sure they also not sure they need favors the Utah Jazz. Also, not sure they. Yeah. Honor percents rate him. So you could flip that with something else and get one more chess piece. And now, I'm intrigued, and I think that's a team. You know, we always with these trades. It's like the the JR. Breaking need Kanner Zibo expiring for expiring. Nothing today. With these trades. It's it's always so much about the cap in the how much space today free up like they got a great contract in return favors has this Nick at sixteen point nine nine guaranteed for next season. So he's essentially an expiring and Utah has or could have a lot of cap space. Like when they got Korver people are like, well, you know, he's got three point whatever guaranteed next season that eats into Utah's caps with like you toss cap space for what? Yeah..
