Because that's what it would cost to carry him on the roster for the year and be are they willing to go with an essence fifty two players. If they're not gonna play because you're not gonna play him that means somebody else's losing their job over this and i would tell you like i don't have a crystal ball. I don't know what's going to happen over the next forty eight hours i do. I do agree that this creates a pressure point for the texans to some degree. I my sense throughout has been that nick. Caserio is not taking fifty cents on the dollar for shawn watson. And i actually. I agree with him on this twenty five year. Old franchise quarterback got five years left on his contract. There's no more priceless commodity in football. That and i like because you can't get full value for him right now. Like what's the harm in waiting under contract for the next five years. What's the harm in waiting. If you feel like maybe like three months from now six months from now you might be able to get three or four. First round picks is better to wait and ride it out because you've already written it out with a new head coach for six weeks in training camp Or are you better off taking a lot less now and continuing rebuilt without watson and without the hall. You might have been able to get. I just unless somebody's gonna come in and offer something the sort of thing. The texans would have been able to get january and february and march before the twenty two lawsuits filed. Like i just think. "How do you judge that as a rental to you for a guy who can win your world series more important than my younger bodies that can be around longer than you may not get now. Who did it yet has been a tremendous representative of young women of gymnasts of athletes of people of african americans but not just african-americans. She'd been a representative all walks of life with way she performed. Unfortunately mental health got her in this olympics. And hopefully she'll she'll get healthy so i don't question people's mental health that that's number one. In our best is simone biles and to the rest of the olympians over there and the gymnastics team. I get that part. But she's handled the pressure. Well and i don't get it. You're exactly right. don't get into it. I didn't understand victory. All i got no issue with. Somebody bothered by her going to the olympics knowing her mental health wasn't in shape possibly and and for some same building on our team. I don't call a building. i call it. She felt that she couldn't compete at the level she wanted to. So i'm not gonna question it. But i do understand opposition. I get it as a as a teammate. And why would be. But you're right the enormous pressure and she puts a lot of pressure on herself. Because we do expect perfection from ear and her great performances of have proven that the tyler when it comes to mental health. It's just such a fragile situation for anybody who's going through it and the pressure exists and sometimes you handle it great and sometimes it hits you. I would imagine it for her hitter. It away that she probably didn't expect. And i just don't understand the vitriol towards a young woman who i don't know what she's ever done wrong to anybody other than feel mentally she couldn't get through the event or the olympics and yes agree.
