He's not going to chase the highest dollar and you have to remember they're all different ages, so they weren't all on the same team. At the same time. The town of La van, which is naval spelled backwards is a little over an hour's drive from Vivan Torino, where Tonight's game will be played. According to local lore. The town got its name because it sits on what would be the bellybutton of the state. The official story is much more boring. It says. Brigham Young picked it. Did you know that Melissa I did not know that I am just interested in your story about belly, but I figured that one would surprise you. That didn't surprise me way back to tonight's match up. These two teams faced each other back on January, 8th. With the Jazz coming out on top of Pfizer Forum withdrew holiday out. Dante Di Vincenzo will have to continue to pick up the load today he talked about other team has gotten better since that first matchup just competing. I think every game I think we've got a little bit better, just flat out competing, not giving up on screens. We could take pride in that. I think I think we'll be okay. Our coverage Tips off tonight at 7 30 this Sunday at the Cole Center will hopefully see the Wisconsin Badgers take on the top 10. Michigan Wolverines. Michigan shut down its athletic program on January 23rd due to covert positive tests. The Wolverines last played a day before that, and if they meet the Badgers coach Greg Guard says it will be a yet another tough test on their schedule. There's no easy in this league Probably heard that from all other 13 coaches, it's just you taking one of the time and you take a break Deep breath and exhale when you got up somewhere on the road. Just do what you need to do that. To get through that game and then worry about the next one. When that time comes. Tip off, is scheduled for 12 noon Sunday. We'll find out if they do end up playing and P walkie native JJ Watt is now a free agent. I'm excited and looking forward to a new opportunity. I've been working extremely hard, a new opportunity. And back to the Bucks. John. If they win tonight, it'll be the first time they've won in Utah since 2001. If that happens, I, for one will credit today's fun facts for the victory. I might, too. That's unbelievable. 20 years you'd almost definitely win in 20 years. What would you give up for a year? To ensure that JJ Watt became a packer. Would you give up carbs for a year? What personally? Yeah. Would you have bourbon for a year? Oh potato chips. Maybe it's crazy, I guess. Maybe cheese that's really now you're just get the stuff. You don't even really like that. I'm going to say I'm very intolerant because I wouldn't really matter. Yeah, I'm not giving up anything. It's a football game. Yeah. Here's Nick Bandwagon and tough loss for the Bucks in Phoenix Wednesday night, down, one with 2.8 seconds on the clock, Yonas missed the would be game winning shot from just beyond the free throw line. Many are noticing sharpshooter Chris Middleton wide open in the corner with a potential open look. In the suit. That's a million times. I think he actually had a game winner a couple years ago in New York. Same area step back, So there's nothing new for me for him to take a pull up for a game and shot like that. Next up for the boxes, the Jazz and Salt Lake City last time they won their 2001. Wisconsin native Jordan. It really is flabbergasting, John why Butler hasn't been voted in yet. John Lynch. To put it in perspective he got in this year. Let's compare the number Shall we interceptions, Butler had 36 toe Lynch's 24 sacks. Butler had 20.5 to Lynch's 13 defensive touchdowns. Butler had three. Lynch never scored a point. All Pro nods. Butler had four Lynch had to. It's inexplicable from my perspective. Why Laroy Butler is not in the Hall of Fame. You know, it's a popularity contest. I mean, John Lynch is very popular. He's been a successful general manager. I'm with you the right butler has to be in there, but John Lynch is likable, high profile. There are a lot of people who are saying that it was John Lynch is a 3rd 9th time on the ballot, and it was only the Roy Butler second, so that could play into it. But Just based on those numbers. I mean, those aren't even close. He's got to get in. Eventually, his time's got to be coming, right? He will. It just feels like it's a lot of politics and somebody's turn is up. It shouldn't be turns. It should be. Whoever deserves to get in. Should be in up next. What if there was a stretch of road? About three miles or so, and it had four different names. It's a fun day for like 10 years in Tampa, The Gronk usually is the person Yes, that he's not that Yes, Who should think that the ground would be the sober wide? Just say social distancing aside. They're not really doing that in Tampa right now, but this is definitely the coolest championship parade I have seen. They all got on boats, and it's a boat parade. Lovett going through Tampa. "You may say anything to you. No, I don't know. Contrary to Blakes claim that the police said nothing to him. Witnesses and Blake himself in statements to the police following the incident, say he was given numerous opportunities to comply. There are many commands disobey. Eight, and that's not only talk about by all the officers, but that's admitted by Jacob Blake in his statements, and there are a number of civilians who talk about that as well. Despite initial claims that Blake was unarmed video evidence showed he possessed the knife in statements to police. Blake admitted the same Jacob Lake in all of the times. He spoke to D. C. I Admits he possessed tonight even tells us a different times. He had the knife in different hands at different times. So we arms himself with a knife and refuses to drop that knife. Here's Blake on why he possessed the knife. I'm rattled. You know, I realized I had dropped my knife, a pocket knife, So I picked it up after I got off of him because they tase me fell on top of it with an open knife in hand. That Blake says fell out of his pocket. He walks around the front of the vehicle towards the driver's side door. What do you thinking at that? I'm not really worried. I'm walking away from them, So it's not like that. Shoot me. I shouldn't have picked it up. Considering who's going on At that time. I wasn't thinking. Clearly, video shows struggle, which we Blake in the officer's Blake was tased twice before getting up and walking around the front of his vehicle with the knife in his hand, all the while officers are issuing orders for him to do. Drop the weapon. Gonna be a lot of people who look at the video and say in the video you're walking away from the police. So why didn't he just stop and do with the police are asking him to do? I couldn't hear that. All I heard was screaming screaming. My ears is ringing. So it was all muffle. If the police were fighting mean if we were they were tasing me I would stop walking away from them and and they would have my attention. I mean, I had not left or tried to run at that point that when they occasionally I had my hands on Officer Schatsky gives this statement to police success. He says. I don't know what he's gonna do. Is he going to hurt the child? Is he going to take off in the vehicle? Are we gonna be in a vehicle pursuit with a kid in the car? Willie, hold the child hostage all of these things or things he is considering they're running through his mind when he puts himself in harm's way and grabs the T shirt of Jacob Blake. Blake is then shot seven times. I was like shooting. I can't believe I kind of sat down in the car, trying to put my hands up San Juan and shoot me in my face or my head and I just kept shooting questions. What's going through your mind? My babies are right here. My evaluation. So after you stop shooting me, I said, Daddy love you. No matter what I thought it was gonna be the last e thought it was gonna be the last thing I say to them. Thank God it wasn't Nick Bandwagon and WTMJ news. I want to play that piece because You heard it last night, and it's It's a ah piece that I think really fairly presentable.

"Twitter or on my Twitter page WTMJ, Steve Question today. M V p of tomorrow's game. I did one for both teams, actually, two for the Packers won for the Rams, and I went with the theme of first name. Aaron. Will it be Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones? Well, hopefully not Aaron Donald right now. Aaron Rodgers. Clear winner with almost 70% of the vote. Find it again on Twitter and you can also shoot me a text on the accurate mortgage talking text line 85 5616 16 20 probably won't be the weather looks like it's gonna be pretty decent day. Relatively speaking in Lambeau Field at Lambeau Field yesterday in the wonderful city of Green Bay, But we shall see. I'm optimistic. Actually, the more I'm talking about the game. I think it could be Packer blowout. Don't predict that I said 24 17. I have a feeling though. This Packers team. They have the right mind set the right attitude and certainly the skill to get this done. On their home field. That Lambo So I'm very optimistic and I'm looking forward to watching the game. I love the In the regular season. I'm not a fan of the the Alton Sunday Games, the Thursday Games. Not never gonna fan of that. Monday night is not a big fan. But give me a Saturday playoff game. Actually love it could relax. Watch the game. Have some great food have a few drinks. Maybe more than that. If you're a fan of Bush lights, you probably have more than that, sitting on your college watching the backers anyway. Get the show Pull Texas fine as well. We'll try to get some of that little bit later in the show. This one is not a lot of fun story by any stretch of the imagination, and it's coming from the FBI Federal Bureau of Investigation Urging yesterday police chiefs across the country to be on their highest alert for extremist activity. To share that information with other agencies. And this is all because of the potential for violence ahead of the inauguration and actually on Inauguration day and I was watching last night. I think it was on MSNBC, your Fox, one of the 22 channels that I kind of flip around through through the evening, and they were showing some of these barriers going up around the mall, and I went to management school in Washington, D C. Needs to run that mall. And it is incredible. That huge area has concrete barriers, steel, fencing and poles and a presence like we've never seen. Really in our nation's history with up to 20,000 members of the National Guard. This stuff is off the charts. Here's my problem with all this. And I certainly understand and appreciate that They want to be prepared for this. Where was that last Wednesday? They knew was common was all over. Internet. Social media sites, platforms. Any other form of communication between extremist groups. They knew it was coming. And I've said this and I said this on socially last night, there will be an investigation into who dropped the ball on being ready for that attack last Wednesday. And I think it's gonna be far reaching, and it could go as far as the White House communication between White House staff. Members of these extremist groups telling Giving information about what was going to happen. And all that leaves a paper trail or at least a digital trail in the new Have to go revolution we're living in and it'll be illuminating. And potentially incriminating on what those communications said. Look for that as a big part of the post presidency of Donald Trump, and where that story line goes, but they weren't ready last Wednesday and people died. Needlessly. Didn't have to happen, Number two of the four eyed said after the break a piece done by other potentially Wisconsin afternoon news Nick van Wagon in Jacob Blake story, We'll get to that number three and four, The 4 10 next I haven't spent a lot of time this week talking about Jacob Lake Story decision not to charge the officers and the resulting protests that from that act, But the person Wisconsin afternoon news program Nick Bandwagon and put together a great piece that kind of lays out the story of Jacob Blake. And the Da's decision. So here's that piece. Resisted getting beat on and what I mean by that is not falling. No, Linda put their head on my name. That's all I was thinking. Honestly, we're going to share with you. Parts of Blake's interview while also taking him back to last Tuesday when Kenosha District Attorney Michael Gravely laid out why his office came to the decision not to press charges against Kenosha Police officer Rustin Chesky, the officer who shot Blake seven times. What is the evidence about why police went to the scene What we know in August 23rd. They were called by the quiche A booker. She reported that Jacob Lake would not give her back the keys to her rental vehicle and she was afraid he was going to take that vehicle and crashing. She reported He had done that before. And so we're gonna play that 911 call now. Yeah, I might need to make a Blake is here and he has the keys to wrestle that I purchased that. I need to take that He's not trying to release it. Starting at 911 call officers Chesky moronic and arenas are dispatched to the scene involving a domestic dispute over car Keys. Dispatch also told the responding officers, Blake has a felony arrest warrant for domestic violence, offenses and sexual assault gravely outlines what it means for the officers involved when they discover there's a felony arrest warrant for Blake, Officer Schatsky and these officers do not have discretion. On something like a felony assaulted warrant like this. When they come across Jacob Lake, they must attempt to arrest him. They don't have other actions. They can't say That guy seems like he's going to fight with me. I'm not going to arrest him. There is not discretion in this regard. In the interview, Jacob Blake shared with straight hand his recollection of that day. What are you doing? The nature of that time. I'm walking out. I ain't done anything, so I didn't feel like they were there for me. Blake received to put one of its sons in the car, and that's when he says he felt someone grabbed his arm took my arm away and human reaction. After I did that I realized that it was police because when I did that slamming up against the truck before the cops grab,.

"Trump To be impeached. For the second time. The first president that that will have happened to the House has reached the threshold they have enough votes to impeach the president. And so far with votes still trickling in 10 Republicans have sided with Democrats. Let's check in with ABC News Live continuing coverage from Washington. Senator Mitch McConnell, though he will not bring the Senate back before January. 19th. It means that you know it's unlikely try would start until around the inauguration. He does say that he is open to the idea of convicting the president and removing him from office. I guess it would be what one day in advance, But this is taking on Rick. I guess more of ah, symbolism rather than this notion of removing him because he's a clear and present danger. I think that the import of this moment is a lasting mark on the trump legacy, but also an affirmation that facts matter that words matter that lies matter. The accountability matters. That's I think a recurring theme of the debate that came up throughout the today the day. This wasn't about changing minds, and I think Functionally speaking, it's not gonna do anything to change. The end date of the Trump presidency will end a week from today. But to have Congress engaged in its constitutionally mandated oversight, ability, the checks and balance of impeachment to take the statement to say this is not okay. It took Perhaps this attack on the capital itself, putting the safety of so many members of Congress in jeopardy for this kind of action. But this reaction in some ways is inappropriate ending point for the Trump presidency, which has been filled with so many miss truths and half truths and lies and misstatements off, too, including what was said last week, and I feel like Members of Congress will feel better about themselves for having acted even if ultimately it doesn't really change that much. ABC News political director recline with US as a majority of the House votes to impeach President Trump for a second time for inciting the right of the capital. NBC News White House correspondent Karen Travers is with us that the president is going to be entitled to a defense at his Senate trial. What can we expect? Well, we know who will not be a part of the defense and its most of his legal team that defended him during last year Senate trial They're not expected to participate J secular Pats of Bologna, the White House counsel, people who took the lead last year at this time they've made that clear to the president. So what the likely option is, is that he will be represented by Rudy Giuliani, his personal attorney who led the election challenges over the past couple of weeks. And obviously has not had much success in that losing about 60. Some cases in court, including two of the Supreme Court, and Alan Dershowitz, who was a part of that first impeachment defense team, has said he would join again for around two. Now we've said this. A Senate impeachment trial wouldn't begin until next week at the earliest to some of this is still coming together, but I think the PR defense is something that's really interesting right now, and it's really just the president. Who's out there, offering his own limited, really, but also inaccurate public defense of ABC News Continuing coverage the president United States about to be impeached for the second time, We'll continue to monitor this story. Bars and restaurants to the backbone of any local economy. Facing dwindling sales and a seemingly never ending pandemic. One local establishment found help from an unlikely source. Nick Bandwagon and has the story..

"Biggest stories, the biggest form for talking about what matters on the biggest stick in the state. Now why, from the NX Wealth Management studios at Radio City This is the Steve Steffy show. Good morning, Wisconsin. Welcome the Tuesday edition. Steve and Jordan. Having some fun talking about some serious stuff is well and we'll get some fun later in the hour. I'm gonna ask you to make it prediction for 2021 could be anything sports. I've got to make some predictions for a publication by Thursday, and I need some ideas. So I'm gonna steal some of your ideas but make a prediction. Sports politics. Whatever. You can tell me what your prediction is for 2021. How about this one? Getting us back to normal getting so we can have festivals. Church festivals Summer Fast state fair I'm sure Catherine O'Leary with that on her list. CEO of the Great Wisconsin State Fair. I'm sure that would be number one on her list. Probably If not what would it be and sporting events? Brewer baseball Brewers. Baseball should say they are tentatively scheduled to start on time, which is a great bit of news because we didn't have that last year. Whether fans will be there or not. We'll wait and see on that one. I'm I'm guessing some version of fandom is going to be part of the 2021 story, but make your predictions coming up a little bit later this hour. I wanted to spend at least a half hour talking about this one. I was listening because I do listen to the other shows on this station. Of course, that's listen to Wisconsin after the news yesterday with Jenna Melissa And course Greg and the wisdom of one Nick bandwagon and their illustrious producer, and I was listening their conversation about vaccines. And John asked the question. Shouldn't be required. And would you get it to thinking if it lets you go to sporting events and Concerts, festivals, and there's there's a notion out there an idea out there that some of that might be required. How about flying? We know that some of the airline's some of the states now requiring passengers to show that evidence of vaccine Is that conversation's happening or testing? I told you the story yesterday. The Buffalo Bills. Going to have roughly about 6200 fans that there Playoff game and part of the requirement besides paying the price for a ticket Is to get tested for Koven within 72 hours of the game. Had a testing facility of their choosing, Not the not the fans choosing and I think it costs about 60 bucks or so I thought about this in the context of Distribution and the acceptance of the vaccine in Wisconsin, because I mean we're Wisconsin radio station. Many of you listened at all. But many of you listening to the show in the station are from here. And I saw this headline yesterday last night. Wisconsin is 10th lowest out of 12 states in the Midwest in getting the first tells of the vaccine. That's based on a per capita basis, of course, that's from the CDC Center for Disease Control and Prevention. And slowest. In terms of how much vaccine has been distributed. So roughly right now. Given what we have about 15 50 $100 about 1.2% of the population has been vaccinated Wisconsin This is the part of surprises Me North and South Dakota, which frankly, their leadership has been very lax, very slow to react to the covert 19 pandemic. There are 3% In Wisconsin is even below the national average. Which is a lot a lot of people, which is about 1.3. We've been allocated. 265,000 doses and we've received about 208,000. So they're out there. Which leads into my question. Why is that? No, there's a couple things going out one Some people don't accept the vaccine. Don't believe in it. I don't want to get tested. Never will accept the vaccine have seen and read that. And I could probably sample the text line. And here's some, you know, Live testimony, One of the Texas says. It's it's optional for health care workers. So why That's a great question. I actually reached out to medical professionals over the weekend and yesterday and asked that basic question. Does your facility require it? How many of your peers Getting it. Now The answer I got was Pretty good. Is on one side of it. I didn't like the fact that their their facilities weren't requiring it. Which surprises me actually, because I know in a lot of places that offer medical services, the flu shot is required. If you want to work there, you have to follow those rules. But so far it seems like In Wisconsin. Medical providers are not required, but the part of their answers that I like is, they were saying that as many as 80% or 90% of their peers were getting vaccinated. That's good news in my opinion. What do you think? What's the reason we are slow to accept it? John was making a point. And I agree with him. Jonah Cure. If you want to do the things that All of us to find as normal activity flying. Going to festivals going to concerts have just gathering in groups. Doesn't it make sense that one of the ways is the vaccine. Texture from the floor. One for my family wants the vaccinations, but we cannot get them. Yes, another problem. At this moment, it's pretty.
