Witnesses and Blake himself in statements to the police following the incident, say he was given numerous opportunities to comply. There are many commands disobey. Any other form of communication between extremist groups. They knew it was coming. And I've said this and I said this on socially last night, there will be an investigation into who dropped the ball on being ready for that attack last Wednesday. And I think it's gonna be far reaching, and it could go as far as the White House communication between White House staff. Members of these extremist groups telling Giving information about what was going to happen. And all that leaves a paper trail or at least a digital trail in the new Have to go revolution we're living in and it'll be illuminating. And potentially incriminating on what those communications said. "Trump To be impeached. For the second time. The first president that that will have happened to the House has reached the threshold they have enough votes to impeach the president. And so far with votes still trickling in 10 Republicans have sided with Democrats. Let's check in with ABC News Live continuing coverage from Washington. Senator Mitch McConnell, though he will not bring the Senate back before January. 19th. It means that you know it's unlikely try would start until around the inauguration. He does say that he is open to the idea of convicting the president and removing him from office. I guess it would be what one day in advance, But this is taking on Rick. I guess more of ah, symbolism rather than this notion of removing him because he's a clear and present danger. I think that the import of this moment is a lasting mark on the trump legacy, but also an affirmation that facts matter that words matter that lies matter. The accountability matters. That's I think a recurring theme of the debate that came up throughout the today the day. This wasn't about changing minds, and I think Functionally speaking, it's not gonna do anything to change. The end date of the Trump presidency will end a week from today. But to have Congress engaged in its constitutionally mandated oversight, ability, the checks and balance of impeachment to take the statement to say this is not okay. I'm gonna ask you to make it prediction for 2021 could be anything sports. I've got to make some predictions for a publication by Thursday, and I need some ideas. Baseball should say they are tentatively scheduled to start on time, which is a great bit of news because we didn't have that last year. Whether fans will be there or not. And John asked the question. Shouldn't be required. And would you get it to thinking if it lets you go to sporting events and Concerts, festivals, and there's there's a notion out there an idea out there that some of that might be required. How about flying? We know that some of the airline's some of the states now requiring passengers to show that evidence of vaccine Is that conversation's happening or testing? I told you the story yesterday. The Buffalo Bills. Going to have roughly about 6200 fans that there Playoff game and part of the requirement besides paying the price for a ticket Is to get tested for Koven within 72 hours of the game. Had a testing facility of their choosing, Not the not the fans choosing and I think it costs about 60 bucks or so I thought about this in the context of Distribution and the acceptance of the vaccine in Wisconsin, because I mean we're Wisconsin radio station. Many of you listened at all. But many of you listening to the show in the station are from here. And I saw this headline yesterday last night. Wisconsin is 10th lowest out of 12 states in the Midwest in getting the first tells of the vaccine. That's based on a per capita basis, of course, that's from the CDC Center for Disease Control and Prevention. And slowest. In terms of how much vaccine has been distributed. So roughly right now. Given what we have about 15 50 $100 about 1.2% of the population has been vaccinated Wisconsin This is the part of surprises Me North and South Dakota, which frankly, their leadership has been very lax, very slow to react to the covert 19 pandemic. There are 3% In Wisconsin is even below the national average. Which is a lot a lot of people, which is about 1.3. We've been allocated. 265,000 doses and we've received about 208,000. So they're out there. Which leads into my question. Why is that? No, there's a couple things going out one Some people don't accept the vaccine. Don't believe in it. I don't want to get tested. Never will accept the vaccine have seen and read that. And I could probably sample the text line. And here's some, you know, Live testimony, One of the Texas says. It's it's optional for health care workers. So why That's a great question. I actually reached out to medical professionals over the weekend and yesterday and asked that basic question. Does your facility require it? How many of your peers Getting it. Now The answer I got was Pretty good. Is on one side of it. I didn't like the fact that their their facilities weren't requiring it. Which surprises me actually, because I know in a lot of places that offer medical services, the flu shot is required. If you want to work there, you have to follow those rules. But so far it seems like In Wisconsin. Medical providers are not required, but the part of their answers that I like is, they were saying that as many as 80% or 90% of their peers were getting vaccinated. That's good news in my opinion.
