"I'd like to consider myself a person who plans ahead for any circumstance, for any emergency, for any situation. But every now and again, the plans go astray. It happens whenever we travel back to Indiana to see family. You're always running at the last minute and you always forget something. The one thing I didn't plan ahead for this time, making sure to take some echinacea, some extra vitamin C, some extra vitamins, and some precautions so I didn't catch a cold. The one thing I always run into when I go to Indiana is you have most of the parents are educators. So they're dealing with kids and parents and lots of people every day. The kids, aging from 6 to 16, they're interacting with lots of kids and germs and well, it caught up with me. Yeah, I started feeling sick almost by the time I got there on Wednesday night. On Thanksgiving Day, I took three naps to the tune of about nine hours. By Friday, full -blown cold. Saturday feeling worse. Didn't go anywhere. Didn't do anything. You can kind of tell in the voice it's not feeling quite right. It's just a cold. But I have to remember, plan ahead. When going to see the kids, make sure I'm prepared for the germs because there are going to be a lot of them.

"Today recuperating we're from the busiest travel day of the year, although technically it's only the busiest car travel day of the year. I hate driving on Thanksgiving weekend, both coming and going, the Wednesday and the Sunday, because people are a little bit impatient. Maybe it's because it's a short time. Thanksgiving's really one day, then of course there's Black Friday, and it's a busy, hectic weekend, and while it's kind of a long weekend, it's not. It's kind of a weird weekend. We all want to get to where we're going, spend time with the family, and while everybody seems to be anxious and grumpy, and as we head over the river and through the woods to whether it's grandma's house or the sister -in -law's house or the brother -in -law's house or wherever you're going, I hope you're having a good Thanksgiving. I don't know if, again, it's just me that my stamina for the road isn't what it used to be. Yeah, we traveled last weekend to Fort Wayne, Indiana, so that was like a six -hour trip to and from. I got injured on the way, so the trip back was not fun, and now we're doing it again. I used to be able to drive 14 hours in a day. I'd be tired, but no big deal. I don't know if it's me or if it's everybody else.

Daddy Issues Podcast
Chris Reflects on His Incredible Bond With His Daughter
"Now, how is your daughter handling all this? Three years old, is she doing the sleepovers like great? Because I know you've only had a couple. So I just had my first sleepover, not last Wednesday, but the Wednesday before. So I've never had a time in which I haven't seen my daughter except when they withheld her. So it was like a month or two during that time. But no matter what, I was always, always seeing my daughter every Monday, Wednesday, Friday in the middle of the day, and every other Saturday and Sunday consistently. Never missed any time unless they were the ones withholding. And so, you know, the time difference has been difficult because like you're constantly back and forth dropping off. But for the most part, we have an amazing bond. Like I don't know if it's necessarily really affected her because the first overnight, not a single problem. Like she was like in heaven being here with Daddy. Like she has her own bed and I'm like, are you going to go sleep in your own bed? Are you going to sleep in, where do you want to sleep? And it's like, I'm going to sleep in Daddy's bed. I was like, but don't you want to try your bed out? I'll lay down, but I'm going to sleep in Daddy's bed. And like she just like sprawled out and she was like laying horizontal like my dog on the pillows. And it was like just, it was really adorable. But more importantly, like it was that whole day. I had 24 hours with her where like I wasn't in a rush to do anything. I just, I got to go about my normal day and I had her with me and she was so happy. And just spending the day with Daddy and the doggies and just, it was just so much fun. And then she's now looking forward to it because now she knows Wednesday's on my overnights. But then, you know, October is going to come really quick and now I'm going to have every Wednesday and every Friday. So it's really, it really was something else having her just the entire time without having to negotiate a time back and forth. And part of my negotiating now is like, you know, October is going to be an odd month for the other party because I have her every Friday. Which doesn't give her a weekend. And so I even offered, like, you know, here I am, like, I'm like, listen, you don't have a full weekend. If you want, I'll move the weekends that I don't have her and I'll move that Friday to a different day during the week. I'll have her different, a different day during the week for the overnight and then you'll have a full weekend with her. She still hasn't even responded to that. And that's what's crazy because most men, even me, like I talk about that stuff and I'm like, you're not only compromising for your daughter. But you're also compromising for your, your ex to make her life easier and have her be able to have your daughter on the weekends and things like that. It's like, why would you not try to get along and do that stuff? You know, again, it's, it's, and I, and I've always said this, I said this to everybody, it's not necessarily the ex. Her and I, if you take away the family core thing, her and I have always gotten along really well. It's her mother that's controlling her. She is, she is a pretty amazing person if you take away the grandmother. And so it's the grandmother making these decisions and not her. So like her, her option is either listen to the grandmother and just don't communicate at all, which is what, that's been her strategy this whole time. Is she doesn't have to cooperate because the courts have made the least amount of decisions possible until now. Now she knows that the court is like, you know, it was just a huge bombshell. I did not expect a 50 50 physical custody agreement. Like I did not, I was like mind blown. I just, I was like everyone on my side cause I had people there of course it was like crying. They're like, I'm in tears. Everyone's in tears. They're like, what just happened? It's like, what on earth just happened? Like, you know, I, I just, I just finished a criminal accusation which was indicted and you know, the judge, I actually, there was, there was a pretty big bombshell actually that happened. So part of my PTI is I need to get a psychological evaluation. But part of the transcripts that I showed you before is the judge wanted her to get a psychological evaluation, which basically was us like in 2021. But then the judge backpedaled because my attorney at the time was like, well, the burden of proof is on her. So if you want us to do a psychological evaluation, she should pay for it. And the judge completely backpedaled. She's like, Oh, well she doesn't have support. So how do you expect her to pay for it? Well, you're the one who wanted the evaluation. Okay, we're not going to issue the evaluation. But imagine if an evaluation was issued then how much, how, how nothing else possibly would have happened. I probably never would have been wrongfully accused of a crime. Like she would have been forced to co -parent or I would have had more, more parenting rights or more time with my daughter and she would have had, she would have been forced to co -parent.

Evangelism on SermonAudio
A highlight from Communicating Christ to Others
"Let's open our Bibles tonight, we're gonna actually be in just a couple quick passages tonight, but let's begin this evening in the book of Mark chapter 16, Mark 16, we're gonna look at one of the Great Commission passages to begin with tonight. The title of tonight's message is, Communicating Christ to Others. Communicating Christ to Others. What do we mean by that? So we're gonna start out with something, a very familiar command to us by the Lord Jesus, so Mark 16 and verse 15. The Bible says here, And He said unto them, unto His disciples, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, or literally to all creation. Wherever you go, go and preach the gospel, proclaim the gospel. And so this is definitely some very important instructions from our Lord, we refer to this as the Great Commission, and as a command for us to be His salt alights, to spread His message of truth, no matter where we go around the world. We've been talking on Wednesday nights, one of the blessings or assurances that Jesus gave His disciples and even to us, that we would do greater works than even He did, and not greater in like how many or even in the way that they're being done, but greater in the scope that was done. And so remember Jesus, the miracles that He performed was pretty much just to Israel, His teaching was to Israel, to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, but we see in the book of Acts, that message went really not in just Jerusalem and Judea, but also Samaria in the uttermost part of the world, much broader than it was during Christ's ministry itself. And so it's again, they didn't do a greater job than Jesus did, I mean, no one can do that, okay? But the scope of it was much greater. And so tonight we're going to be talking about really the application of that, and even as we look at missions today, here at Victory Baptist, I'm very proud that we support about 21 missionaries serving really around the world, representing human here in Minnesota and then abroad, and we rejoice in that. I'm really looking forward to this missions conference coming up in just a few weeks. Again, we have three speakers that will be with us, Brother Sam Slobodian, who we know well, reaching Ukrainians and Eastern Europeans, Russian speakers, predominantly, with the gospel, and looking forward to hearing an update from what's going on in his world, his ministry. And then we have another man, Andrew Counterman, who is a director over a ministry that helps church planters in Latin America, and God has been doing some good things through his ministry. I actually talked to him this week, and I found out that years ago, he actually used to be on the board of BIEM, which is the mission board of Sam Slobodian. So he and Sam Slobodian are good friends, haven't seen each other in a while, so they look forward to reconnecting at the conference. Small world, isn't it? And then we have David Bennett, with Silent Word Ministries International. I've known David for many years, and he ministers to the deaf around the world, and really kind of an interesting mission field. I think a lot of times we forget about the deaf communities around, and how much they do need to hear, literally, they need to hear Jesus, they need to hear about Jesus. How do deaf people hear? They actually hear with their eyes and they talk with their hands, okay? Pretty amazing. They still communicate. So very interesting, how do we share the gospel with the deaf around us? And we're gonna do a lot of application here tonight as well. So when we think about the Great Commission, to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, although this command is simple, the task before us is great. In human terms, the Great Commission is daunting, but that God has promised us His presence and His power as we go forth in His name. In the world's population today, we have what, 7 .7 billion people, I believe, it's growing by the minute, right? And so there's a lot of people in this world, especially in the past 100 years, my word, the world's population has grown exceedingly. And so when we think of that, and we're supposed to go into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature, every person, wow, where do you start? Where do you begin? And I think that's kind of, when you look at it again from a human perspective, that seems overwhelming, but how do we do this? By looking at modern missions and when we kind of the traditional approach we take to missions, even here at Victory Baptist, there are a few challenges that must be considered. So I wanna do something tonight. About a year ago, we actually went over the philosophy of missions in the local church. We spent several weeks on why we do missions, why do we have, why is the local church involved? We talked about even the deputation process, is that even biblical support raising? Is that biblical? We talked about a little bit of the missions experience across the world and wherever they may be. We talked about all those things, but here's some, just a very quick recap of two things. First of all, what is missions? Let's talk about that. Missions is this, missions, this is kind of my definition in a way, but kind of modified from others, but missions is the responsibility and the task of the local church to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world for the purpose of discipleship, multiplication of self -supporting, self -governing and self -propagating churches for the glory of God, okay? So as we talk about works that are eventually self -supporting, self -governing, self -propagating church, in other words, they become kind of, they're not dependent on a foreign entity per se. They have their own independence, if you will. So that is, that's one of the goals of missions, but who is a missionary? Who is a missionary? There's a song that I remember singing when I was little, be a missionary every day. I don't be a missionary every day, tell the world that Jesus is the way. I don't know if you ever heard that song or not, but the fact of the matter is that song's not true. Not everyone is called to be a missionary as a vocational missionary. Everyone is called to be an ambassador for the Lord in that regard. You represent Jesus Christ no matter where you go, but here is, this is why. Why do we say, when we talk about missions and missionaries, who is a missionary? And this is a definition here, a missionary is one called by God to full -time service of Bible study and prayer and one who crosses cultural and or geographical boundaries to proclaim the gospel in areas where Jesus Christ is largely unknown, okay? Let me slow down a little bit and read that again because there's a lot in that. A missionary is one called by God to full -time service of Bible study and prayer and then one who crosses cultural and or geographical boundaries to proclaim the gospel in areas where Jesus Christ is largely unknown. So that's when we talk about missionaries and we support a missionary and we have, like you said, we have 21. That is generally their description, okay, in those parts, so very important, okay? But one thing that we're gonna talk about tonight is this. This is a practical way. We talked earlier about in modern missions, there are a few challenges that missionaries do face and it's one that often does not, it sometimes gets talked about but it is not really thought about. What do you mean? So it's, again, this is something that's talked about but not really thought about. What is one of these challenges? And one of the challenges that missionaries often face is that of language barriers. There's cultural barriers. I think we think about, when I was in Bible college, I was a missions major and so I remember going through one of our missions classes and our professor, he said that there is three Fs in the missionary experience. The first is fascination. When a missionary gets to the field, there's a fascination. It's kind of like honeymoon period, wow, you're kind of like the tourist, you know, you take pictures of everything, buy all the souvenirs, you know, you kind of get that fascination. The second part, though, after you're there for a while, you get, it becomes frustration because you figure out, wait a minute, you stick out like a sore thumb in that culture. You don't look like, talk like, act like the culture that you're in and sometimes they don't think the way you do or, you know, respond the way you're expecting. So there's a frustration in the culture. We never got to the fourth F, or the third F, excuse me, we never got to the third F, so I have no idea what comes after frustration. He left us hanging all these years, it's been 20 some years. I have no idea what we're supposed to end up. I would say, if anything, I think there is a sense of fulfillment that you are obedient to Christ, our faithfulness, that you're there sticking out as long as God keeps you in that area. But nonetheless, language barriers is very, it's a real barrier and it's actually more, and I'll kind of break it down a little bit here in just a moment here, but language barriers is actually a very serious barrier that missionaries must take, that they must cross. And so learning another language in another culture, preferably by immersion, is something that's very challenging that a lot of missionaries face and I think this is really where you find out who's going to stick it out in missions versus who's not going to stick it out. And I'll get to that, why is that, okay? So let me ask you this, how many of you took a foreign language, whether it be in high school, college, whether it be, several of you have, okay? I jokingly say, Linnea just started a Spanish class at co -op, but I jokingly say, the high school Spanish you have, by the time you get older, you're just good enough to order at Taco Bell, you know? So speaking, practically what do you do with that? And so if you've actually learned and studied another language, like actually seriously hit the books on it and to immerse yourself in that culture if you can, is very important. But here's some quick statistics. There are, how many languages are there in the world today? How many known languages? There are over, there's about, actually this is the report as of earlier this year, January 1st, 7 ,117 known languages spoken by people around the world, according to Ethnologue. Well over 7 ,000 languages represented around the world, that's a lot, okay? So here's the next question, I'm gonna ask you this, what do you think? Which language has the most native speakers, in other words, this is their first language, their birth languages if you will, which language has the most native speakers, what do you think? Chinese, yes, absolutely, 1 .27 billion people speak Chinese as their first language, English is third down the list, okay? So anyways, you think of this Mandarin or Cantonese, okay, that's very well spoken, okay? So how much of the world's population speaks English as a first or second language, what do you think? What percentage would you say of the world's population speaks English as a first or second language? What's that? I'd say you can learn to speak English and all that.

"It was ugly. I mean, it was a wake up call. And if you don't think that the Treasury was scrambling around wondering what the heck is going on, you're crazy. Welcome back to the show. I'm doing a last minute episode with macro analyst James lavish, author of the information as newsletter. James, thanks so much for joining me. Oh, it's great to be here. Natalie, always good to talk to you. Well, before we go into this disastrous 30 year Treasury auction, which I want to learn all about, let's start with what happened last week because the Treasury made an announcement about how much it's going to need to borrow. So why don't you fill us in on that first? Yeah, so the Treasury has to have this refunding every single quarter and they announce what they're going to do. They kind of give the market a signal so people can prepare. The investors can can can get ready for the auctions that are going to be kind of coming up. And so last week there was there was the Fed was talking. They were giving their their decision on the rates. And on the same day, the Treasury was giving this release or going to release this information to the street and tell them what the plan was. Well, it was it's been so important. What's been going on in the US Treasury is that almost all of the spotlight was on this on Wednesday. It was not on Powell for the first time in a very long time. As you know, you've been you've been watching this for a while. And and so it was it was pretty surprising. But in reality, it's not that surprising to people like me and some other investors who have been watching the bond market pretty closely recently. And what happened was they announced that they were going to borrow seven hundred and seventy six billion dollars, a few billion dollars less than the market expected. That's number one. And so the market fourth quarter. Right. That's the fourth quarter. And so the market got took that is OK. That's that's good. So maybe they have spending under control. But just remember that we are running a two trillion dollar deficit right now. So that's that spending is not under control. But the second thing they did is they announced that they would be borrowing on the shorter end of the curve. They would continue to be putting out T -bills and shorter term notes so that they would be able to draw capital out of the reverse repo facility. We'll talk about that in a minute. But basically, they were saying they're going to be borrowing on the short end of the curve, not as much on the long end of the curve, like they're not going to be borrowing at first. They're not going to be issuing 30 year bonds, quite as as many of them as the market expected. In reality, they announced they were going to borrow another twenty three billion and or twenty four billion. And the past auction was like twenty three billion. It's in line with and maybe a little bit less than what the street expected. Remember, everything that the market works around expectations. You've seen this happen all the time. If a company comes out with dismal earnings, but they were a little bit less worse than people expected, the stock could actually go up. It's just the way that the street works.

A highlight from ETF Excitement Drives Bitcoin Past $36,000
"Welcome back to The Breakdown with me, NLW. It's a daily podcast on macro, Bitcoin, and the big picture power shifts remaking our world. What's going on, guys? It is Thursday, November 9th, and today we are talking about Bitcoin's breakout and all of the bullish sentiment shift. But, before we get into that, if you are enjoying The Breakdown, please go subscribe to it, give it a rating, give it a review, or if you want to dive deeper into the conversation, come join us on the Breakers Discord. You can find a link in the show notes or go to bit .ly slash breakdown pod. Hello friends. Well, yesterday, as you know, we pivoted to bullishness, put the SPF trial behind us, and faced firmly forward, and boy, has today extended the excitement. So much so that I'm actually not even really covering the biggest bull thing from today, which is BlackRock registering an Ethereum spot ETF that happened just as I was finishing, so I am sure that that will be front and center tomorrow. For now, let's kick off today with a tweet from Steven Lubka, who's the Managing Director and Head of Private Clients and Family Offices at Swan. He tweets, I love how Bitcoin itself determines how busy my day is going to be. Today is going to be crazy. Thanks for almost cracking $37k overnight. So let's start this report with the ETF speculation. Grayscale has opened talks with the SEC in an attempt to finally move forward with the conversion of the Grayscale Bitcoin trust into an ETF. Grayscale sources said the company is now in active discussions with the SEC's division of trading and markets and the division of corporate finance. Both divisions play a key role in deciding ETF applications. Now, Grayscale, of course, won its lawsuit against the SEC in August, with the court ruling that the SEC must reconsider the firm's application to convert GBTC. If the SEC wanted to deny the application, it would need to come up with some new reasons after their existing rationale was found to be arbitrary and capricious. Craig Salm, Grayscale's chief legal officer, said, Right now, we're just laser focused on constructively re -engaging with trading and markets. There are still things that have to be worked through. He added that, Overall, it's been good engagement and it's a matter of when, not a matter of if anymore. Grayscale CEO Michael Sonenshine also confirmed that discussions with the SEC have commenced. He told Bloomberg that his team have been busy filing the required documents, which quote, When pressed for a timeline for approval, Sonenshine chuckled, noting that, Timelines are certainly not something that has been discussed, but what I can tell you is that the SEC is constructively engaging at the moment. We remain optimistic that we will get through any final hurdles that need to be there and our investors will finally get what they've been waiting for. Now, the market, for its part, clearly thinks the conversion is likely to be approved. The GBTC discount has now closed to 12 % from over 40 % back in June. It's the smallest discount since November of 2021. Now, widening to the rest of the pool of potential ETFs, Bloomberg analysts reported that the SEC has a brief eight -day window to approve all 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs at the same time, which begins today. ETFs are generally not approved while they are still open for public comment following an SEC decision. That comment period concluded today for seven of the ETFs, which were delayed as a group in late September. James Safart, one of the Bloomberg ETF analysts, followed up in a Twitter thread explaining that, If the agency wants to allow all 12 fliers to launch, as we believe, this is the first available window since Grayscale's court victory was affirmed. Now on November 17th, comment periods will reopen for three of the applications from GlobalX, Hashdex, and Franklin Templeton when they hit their next SEC deadline for approval or delay. That would leave the SEC able to approve only nine of the 12 applications until January. Safart, with some assistance from finance lawyer Scott Johnson, added some extra detail to the situation. They explained that there are two approvals required before the ETFs can begin trading. The SEC would need to approve the proposed rule changes, and then a separate division of the regulator would need to sign off on product disclosure forms known as an S -1. Johnson tweeted, If there's a hypothetical approval this week, there's probably minimum a month and probably a couple before any ETF actually launches. S -1's still under review and no real hard deadline for that process. Though I consider it more a formality at that stage. Would be a wild period. Safart agreed, stating that possible and even likely that there could be weeks or even months between approval and launch. This is in line with comments made by Valkyrie CIO Stephen McClurg last week, who said, A late November approval likely means a February launch. Now his view was that the SEC would likely wait until the new year to ask firms to put finishing touches on their S -1 filings before they were given the green light. Adding a little more intrigue to the process, SEC chair Gary Gensler released another one of his little videos. This one was an explanation of the Division of Corporation Finance, the group which has recently been giving feedback on ETF applicants on their S -1s. Gensler emphasized that the SEC is a quote merit neutral regulator. He explained that the basic bargain of US capital markets is that quote, investors get to decide what risk they take so long as public companies make complete and truthful disclosure. Now of course, the timing of this could be nothing, but some viewed it as a meaningful indication of what has been going on behind closed doors at the SEC. Senior Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balcones tweeted, Could be a coincidence, but probably not. They did preapproval educational stuff ahead of BITO approval as well. Also, I feel like this is his way of saying, look, we aren't endorsing these ETFs, we're just trying to disclose all the possible risks so you can decide. Hands washed. Investor Adam Cochrane reiterated the point, tweeting, Usually this kind of stuff is posted by the SEC as like a disclaimer before they approve things they don't like. For example, last time was four days before they approved the BITO futures ETF. We guess this puts Bitcoin ETF approvals at less than one week now. As one final little indication that things could be moving behind the scenes at the SEC, commissioners and staff attended a closed door meeting this afternoon. The agenda included quote, institution and settlement of administrative proceedings and resolution of litigation claims. These kinds of meetings are held as needed and we don't have any further detail to confirm the commissioners are voting on ETF approvals, but holding a meeting is a much stronger indicator than not holding a meeting. To sum up, analysts' current expectations is that the entire cohort of ETFs are likely to be approved at the same time so as not to pick winners and that this could all happen as soon as this week. After that approval, disclosure statements will need to be finalized before the ETFs can be launched, which seems likely to take weeks, if not months. Notably, Bloomberg analysts have not adjusted their odds for full approvals in January up from 90%. They're also leaving their odds at an approval for this year at 70%. There's currently no real expectation that ETFs will begin trading until early next year. All commentary has carried a very prominent disclaimer that approvals are far from guaranteed, but between all of these little indications, market sentiment is clearly pointing towards a Bitcoin ETF approval. Crypto trader AvocadoToast tweeted, ETF thesis is pretty simple, 90 % odds of approval by Jan 10th could happen any day really. Announcement, immediate FOMO to speculate, scramble to search for ETF tokens on DexTools screener and Twitter, find top choice ETF because first mover most liquid highest market cap most trustworthy one, mash buy button candle loads. We all know this is going to happen. Let's just skip the song and dance. Blockworks Jason Yanowitz said, this market still severely underestimates how insane it will be to have Bitcoin ETF approvals and Bitcoin having within 60 days of each other will be obvious in hindsight. Now all of this ETF speculation has of course been extremely positive for Bitcoin price action. The market tested the $36 ,000 level for the third time late on Wednesday evening and effortlessly broke through. Bitcoin settled at a new level of around $36 ,700 overnight. Now Matrixport said earlier on Wednesday that they expected the breakout above $36 ,000 to be imminent. Following on from that correct prediction, the firm said that they believed a sustained rally to follow. Their report stated, the Santa Claus rally could start at any moment with a steady increase in buyers during US trading hours and an ongoing attempt for Bitcoin to break out. We could see prices rallying into the end of the month and year. Matrixport included some macro commentary recognizing that this Bitcoin run has been supported by dovish federal reserve messaging, reducing long -term debt issuance from the treasury and a continued slowdown in inflation. They noted that above $36 ,000 there's a lot of fresh air considering how rapidly prices collapsed in early 2022. The report stated that quote, a break above $36 ,000 could propel Bitcoin toward our next technical resistance level at $40 ,000 potentially reaching $45 ,000 by the end of 2023. Now along these same lines, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange or CME, which hosts the highest volume market for Bitcoin futures in the US has continued to see a rush of trading. Open interest for Bitcoin futures has increased by 35 % over the past four weeks, moving above 100 ,000 Bitcoin for the first time. Indeed, the CME is snapping at the heels of Binance as the dominant market for Bitcoin futures trading. Binance currently has a little over 24 % of the market while the CME is closing in with 22 .7%. Now, according to K33 research, the two week price consolidation around 35 ,000 has primed bullish sentiment. Over the last two weeks, dips have been bought and Bitcoin has remained in a $2 ,000 range. That range, of course, is now broken to the upside, but the analysis still seems relevant. K33 observed that with Bitcoin range bound, altcoins have had a chance to run. We've seen numerous tokens achieve gains above 10 % in the past two weeks, which has brought the total crypto market cap back up to $1 .4 trillion for the first time since the Luna collapse. Bitcoin dominance softened slightly as a result of this altcoin run, but remained above 50%. Now, maybe most interestingly, volumes during US trading hours are dominating the market, vastly outstripping other regions. Premiums on front month options have exploded with calls settled at the end of November showing a 16 % annualized premium. ETF inflows continue to be strong, with the pro shares Bitcoin futures ETF BITO just receiving its third highest weekly inflow since November 2021. Now, despite the rush of activity in derivatives markets, Bitcoin's implied volatility remains below its three year average. This indicates that markets are priced for slow, grinding price action rather than sudden spikes.

The Eric Metaxas Show
A highlight from Mike Signorelli
"Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to listen to a man of grace, sophistication, integrity, and whimsy? Well, so are we. But until such a man shows up, please welcome Eric Metaxas. Hey there folks, welcome to the program. It's Tuesday, November 7th. Don't adjust your TV sets. I'm in Dallas, Texas. Chris, I'm in Dallas. Yeah, you are. It looks like you're on the set of the show Dallas even. You know, that was good. That was good. Everybody says you're dumb and you're not clever. And that's not true. Both are true. Both are true. You're not dumb and you are clever. I just want to be very clear. You're right though, because I'm in this fancy place. I can't really give it away, but I'm in this very nice place here in Dallas because tomorrow, I'm sorry, tonight, yeah, Tuesday, tonight, I'm speaking at a big dinner for the Council for Life. Tomorrow is their annual event. 1 ,400 people at this luncheon. It's the Council for Life. It's here in Dallas. I believe it's sold out. I don't know. But I'm speaking at that tomorrow. I fly on Wednesday to Washington, D .C., where I'm sorry, Wednesday, Thursday, no, Thursday, I think I fly because there's an event, Intercessors for America event on Friday. Actually, it's Thursday and Friday in Washington, D .C., Intercessors for America. And I'm speaking at that event. Also at that event, Michelle Bachman is speaking and Dutch Sheets is speaking. And I wanted to say one of the things I wanted to say today is that part of what I've tried to do on this program, especially over the last number of years, is help people process what's going on in the country. And I want to be very clear that did I mention that Pastor Mike Signorelli is coming up in this segment? I don't know what I did not. I did not. OK, so today, in a few minutes, sorry. In hour one today, right after I'm done with the segment, we have Pastor Mike Signorelli. He's a New York based pastor. And we talked to him in the past. There's a film coming up. And in hour two, we're talking to our friend Victor Marks, so I wanted to mention that to both of them fall under the category of where I was just going is like, how do we process where we are with the craziness going on right now, with the madness, with the evil that people scared? And I want to give people hope. And when I mentioned that sheets, I kind of think like he's somebody there's an app that we don't read it every morning, but we read it this morning. It's an app that you can get on your phone. It's give him 15 and him being God, Jesus. And it's a devotion that Dutch Sheets writes every day. Dutch Sheets is in the kind of prophetic stream of the Christian faith, but he's rock solid. I just want to say he's someone that I've had on the program. I respect him immensely.

The prizes are structured in tiers with the highest award being 50 ,000 OP tokens for a winner in each category. Partner platforms for minting include Manifold, sound .xyz, OpenSea, Zora, Descent, and mint .fun. Caldera, a rollup as a service provider, now supports the use of any ERC20 token as a native gas token for Arbitrum Orbit and OP stack rollup deployments. The move diverges from the standard practice of using ETH for transaction fees on Ethereum based rollups. The feature allows users to transact without needing the native asset of a chain for fees. Loot Chain is among the first rollups on Caldera to implement the feature on mainnet by adopting its AGLD token as its native gas token. And lastly, Stacker Labs, a modular tooling provider for rollups, raised a $5 .5 million seed round led by archetype. Stacker simplifies the building of micro rollups using general -purpose programming languages. Developers can use stacker tooling to build app -specific rollups with a custom execution environment. Stacker plans to use the raised funds to expand its team, finalize preparations for the launch of its platform, and grow its developer ecosystem. In other news, Autoscan releases a 2 .0 alpha version of its block explorer, Yearn introduces yprisma incentives, and Etherscan releases an advanced filter leaderboard. Please send an email to info at a lake. Enterprises dot com. You can find and follow me on all my social media platforms by using the link tree. Id del blogger and today on episode two fifty five we are talking about podcast promotion via social media. That's right that was the topic of my presentation. At pot fest. Masterclass pre week on tuesday at eleven. Am and if you missed it. You missed a great session. Not only was it my session but there were so many presentations going on throughout the week i will leave the link in the show notes so you can check it out because next week is actually another full week of master class podcasting pointers. So let's get back to today's topic talked about social media and how to use social media to promote your podcast and again it doesn't matter which platform that you are on. Make sure that you're there with your audience consistently choose your platform wisely because again not all media platforms are created equal. Now you may want to be on all of them. Facebook twitter instagram linked. In new to tick tock snapchat club. How i mean you may want to be on all of them but don't do that to yourself beyond the once again that you can comfortably connect with and be consistent in posting focus on who your ideal listener is and what subject matter that. You're covering in your show and that is going to determine which social media platforms to be on. Are you engaging in facebook. Groups are you engaging on twitter. A lot of people feel that twitter is too fast and too noisy and they don't want to be there so make sure that you are on the platforms that you're comfortable with you have to do you boo boo because again it is your show. It is your relationship that you're building with your listeners. But if i have to emphasize this. I will emphasize this. Make sure you are consistent. One of the key successes with social media whether you're blogging blogging or podcasting is consistency. Because you're foul was your listeners. They're gonna appreciate a schedule so they know where you are and where they can find you and how they can share you with others so be consistent and you know what actively engage with your audience. Sometimes you might just want to set it and forget it. You know using a scheduler or automation but you have to connect with your listeners. Again you are creating a very intimate relationship you know. I've said it before. And i'll say it again. The largest sexual organ that we have in a human it are between our ears. That's our brain so when someone is plugged into your podcast via earbuds or headphones you are connecting with them in a very intimate relationship so respond to your direct messages and comments. Let your audience and know that they can trust you and your brand and make sure you're following them and sharing their content as well. Hang out on the platform where you promote like kim respond to those comments and you know what you can also publish additional information. Be on your podcast. You want to actively socialized with your followers remember. People do not go to social media to be sold to they go to socialize so introduce yourself make friends and dedicate time to build your community and while you're building that community forget to cross don't just interact with your own. Followers spent time on other pages as well pages that may be similar to yours and topic or niche similar to yours. And what you are talking about. Engaged with their content share their content. Sharing is caring. That's right no that as a blogger know that as a podcast an experiment experiment with your content maybe quotes work. Maybe gifts in means were maybe audio burden. Audio grams worked for you. Whatever the case may be be active and engaging and consistent when you're promoting your podcast on social media so again guys thank you so very much for following me. That would be that. Would that would hurt the the prosecutor. That's all contradictory. The air because the tax ecology results show that he was intoxicated. He was you know he had what he had. In his system. abe yours had opioid. That's not going to help. The prosecution and so in the defense is going to contribute the fact that he can bring to the fact that he was high he was overweight. Asthma and Yeah so that. None of that is going to help the process that that's something. The prosecution has the fight against her best. The problem with this is that you have an expectation. That's going to be disappointed because you very matter of factly think the case is just over you. Just see that but there are other people. We're gonna see something different and again. You don't know how any of this evidence is going to be in the trial right. You may not. I doubt any arguments that make it an. I will pick us right but is you. Don't know how they're gonna use these arguments in the jury can't consider aiding else but what is heard at that trial nothing else. No news stories node. None of that only what comes in at trial. And that's another thing people you have been exposed to everything they get this much and they have to make a decision based on just. This much may not come with the same outcome. They they should have because they have. Don't have what you have. They're not looking at what you're looking at end. They are under under the constraints of the law right so at the end of the trial the judge is gonna give them what's called instructions instructions that says the prosecution has to establish these elements and if they've established these elements. You must do this. If one element is missing you have to acquit just one you have to acquit. The law. Says you must acquit. That's why you hear. Song compensation thing we jury nullification jury nullification during that. Nullification is basically when a jury doug whatever they want to do regardless of what the evidence shows when a jury says you know what you didn't prove it but dishes for the guilty or you know in other instances where the prosecution does prove the case beyond reasonable doubt. The jury says this injust this. Is you know. Unjust is an unjust prosecution. We won't convict and they find him not guilty despite the fact that the was overwhelming so any predictions. Charles gonna last clever. I will ask. I wanna say three weeks. I don't think it'd be that has become to be the experts the longest and most. Yes yes i've had this jury trial. One time into the expert testimony was like it was like. Wow this is brutal. I some out personal say one thing to defense experts. Say the exact opposite. Cancel themselves out and so you listen to that nonsense however it doesn't really help you much and he's still grapple with what exactly the facts are of this. Yeah yeah that's a good point. Get off your next seems in Perlis sex, your headache medication, all the different things that have caused from mineral imbalances. So get into the office. You can do this and be a brand new you. You don't need a new year's resolution for it. You do it now. I've had a couple of people in their eighties and gentlemen whose 90 actually and I'd like to make up the point that It really doesn't matter what age you're at that calls our office and says This is your patient to his over 90 years old. This is what he does, By the way, just in case you're curious. He's a sweetheart. He comes with his wife, and the other day he was telling me how he referred a couple of friends and he gave me their phone numbers and told me you know a little bit about their conditions and that I really have to work on them that he loves them. And it was this very sweet, but He knocked off a somewhere close to 25 £28 at this point, and his doctor just took muff voices. It's a nine year old guy. He just He just got off Lasix, and he bends down to tie his shoes. And he says, Oh, I could bend down now I'm not breathing really hard, easily six by the way, because I don't think he knows what that s O. And it's interesting in the context of this program because we're looking for people to hold onto their waters. To their water and and hydrate their cells. So Lasix pumps the water out because he had swollen cabs. When he came in, you could actually put your thumb on his ankle. He had what's called pitting a demon and I know a lot of people listening right now. Have them. Yes, we see this all the time. So every time you take A drug that causes you to need another drug down the road causes you to need yet another drug and the beauty of just losing weight is that the drug start peeling off like The layers of an onion. You don't need the drugs anymore, and you get your health back. You know another gentleman. He was He's 81. He lost £20 in 28 days. And this is astronomical for somebody who's metabolism should be slow. Yeah, right. Sure, right. At that age, I was still seeing astounding weight loss, and it's safe and that's the other thing. I'd like to say that You know, at first you were. You were kidding me about. You got this 90 year old man on the program. But no, it's safe, and he loves the structure of the program, you know, And you know, it's funny. I'm all about our patients today because I feel like a lot of our patients, right? These testimonials and they never get read anywhere. So I'm going to read another one. Everybody has to bear with me. This is actually from a fairly famous author. That's been in our programs. I cannot use his name, but I'm going to call him Tim for today. Um, this morning I weighed 225 £224 down from 2 71 in 33 days. Okay, that is almost £50 guys. I had my annual cardio checkup with Dr s yesterday and my blood pressure was 10 4/64 laying down Today I got my blood results A pdf, which I have attached that I am going to frame Total cholesterol Woz 109 HDL 46 LDL down from 97. I'm sorry. Total cholesterol was one of nine HDL 46 LDL 42 down from 97 Tryg Lyssarides where one of $7 Down from 228 33 days, guys. 33 days to that end, Doctor s is taking me off Ben, a car and the trill it picks and they also are moving to take me off my crest or medication within the next couple of weeks. By the way, all this happened under the supervision of Dr Arthur. It orbits and NJ diet on dime going to land at my £218 next Wednesday. Um, And so, I mean, this is, um You know, it's really It's really amazing. I mean, you know, think about that He's going to, um he's gonna frame his, uh, he's kind of frame his blood work results. I mean, you know, he's got a couple other things that he has framed in his lifetime. Right and his blood results are going to be one of those things. They're going to be hanging up there. You know, Um and he's going to do it because I think he wants to remind himself every single day. What he's not going back to the hotel. Yeah, I tell people when they come into the office and I tell them, you know when they're on metformin. They're all Atlantis and they're on insulin. Then I tell him and they're on these medications for the sugar. Or their blood pressure, and I tell them, you know you're gonna be I'm gonna let you know that within you gotta keep tracking a sugar because it's going to drop like a rock, right? And you really gotta keep track of that first 7 to 12 days and you're probably going to be off of those. You're probably gonna be off those meds within a week. And they look at me Like what? Like I'm like I'm talking about something completely like I'm talking to them in another language, and I tell them that And then that's exactly what happens. And they send me the texts and emails because everybody gets my personal cell phone number of my personal email address that if they need anything they can reach out to me at any time of the program. But You know what I tell them that But that's exactly what happens. What marine is talking about right now is not is the rule. Not the exception to the rule. We tell them exactly how they're going to feel that morning. Actually wanted drops. Right. Telling you Sugar is gonna go down low. You might wake up feel kind of weird, and then you'll take something to up your sugar. And then you call your doctor and start talking about getting off metformin or getting off their insulin and getting off your lances. So whatever it is that you're taking And so, like I said, that's the That's not the exception. Those are the rules. That's what we see. And we talk about the safety of this program. People come in a lot of times and they go well. Is losing a pound or two a day safe and I go well, if you're losing water, it's not because that's what the problem out there that people lose water. They create these mineral and balances, which makes you weight loss resistant, and that's why now you drink all this water, But you still dehydrated running to the bathroom 15 20 minutes because you've done all the weight loss programs.
