Julie Kelly Unpacks Tucker Carlson's J6 Footage Release

"Whole Tucker Carlson footage release Kevin McCarthy promise and so forth. There are those who have said it's amazing. Especially when we see the coverage, the actual footage of Brian sicknick, safe and well after he was meant to have been killed by the January 6th protesters, we see jape chansley being escorted through the building at times by more than 9 police officers who did nothing to stop him. Then we have Mitch McConnell, we have Chuck Schumer saying, don't release any more footage, and it looks like something happened the next show Tuesday night with Tucker was not the show he clearly was preparing to release less footage came out than we expected. Talk to us about what you think is going on and more importantly, what the consequences of the handing over of these 44,000 hours from speaking McCarthy to at least one news outlet could be. Is this good news? Will it make a difference, Julie? I think it will. And look, as someone who I believe was the first on our side back in May of 2021, to call for the release of all of the video after the capitol police filed in one of the cases that they considered this all of this footage highly sensitive government material, the DoJ was putting it under protective orders. Weed American greatness were like, wait a second. No, no, no, no. If you're going to call this a terror attack, we deserve to see all of it. So it was very gratifying to see Kevin McCarthy fulfill his pledge really at the behest of a handful of Republican lawmakers to release this video. I really did not think that he would. I supported giving it to Tucker and here's the reason why stab. First of all, you have to be extremely knowledgeable and informed about the events of January 6th to know where to look, see who some of these people are, what their movements were and to build a case about some sort of malfeasance. They're very few people and Tucker is one of them who's followed this from the very beginning, as you know, he produced a three part documentary patriot purge in 2021. So he was on to this from the very beginning.

Andy Ngo on His Day in Twitter Purgatory Over ANTIFA Antics

"Andy. Welcome to the program. Walk us through the latest news with your Twitter account. Hi, Charlie. Thanks for having me on. Well, most of your listeners may have heard of me because of my reporting on antifa. I do that in news writing and a lot of it actually happens through tweets. I break a lot of stories on my Twitter. And one of the projects that I have ongoing is that I document violent extremists far left accounts that organize openly on Twitter. I mean, this was part of the apparatus that caused 2020 to be so successful in violent riots across the U.S. is because a lot of the riots were organized on Twitter. So as part of my primary evidence gathering, I screenshot the original tweets I linked to then these extremist reads. And I post it so that people can see this is what is on this platform live and active now, you know? It's not me editorializing it. You can see it, for yourself. And for that, I had opened up the app on Tuesday night and suddenly I was locked out. So that I had violated a rule, and then it wouldn't say what rule it was empty. So I found out, I saw people were letting me know, hey, if you go on my wall, tweet after tweet is just being this tweet is violated the rules. And everything and how to post it the last couple of days has been related to like antifa and screenshots of what they say and what they say they will do. So for example, that just an hour before I was locked out, I posted about antifa's calls to violently attack the TPUSA university of Oregon campus event. And that was one of the tweets, so it was affected.

Robert Wilkie and Sebastian Unpack Biden's State of the Union

"Name me a world leader. Who changed places with Xi Jinping. Name me one. Name me one. Why are you shouting? It's very strange, Joe Biden. It's the State of the Union. It's not the irascible old people's home collective. That was Tuesday night just a reminder of the fact that that man is always 30 feet away from something called the nuclear football. How far have we sunken in just the last two years? Well, let's discuss it one on one. The deep dive with the real newsmakers, the true experts, we love the long form here in America first and he's a great supporter of the show. Now we have the luxury of time to drill down. For a cabinet member, the Trump administration responsible for veterans affairs, but before that, even more important given the current geopolitical climate, he was responsible for all readiness across U.S. armed forces. He is, for the secretary, Robert wilkie, welcome in studio secretary. Good to see you, doctor. Thank you for having me. I know neither of us are experts in senility or psychiatry. But any idea now that we've had a two days to analyze this, what did he mean by? Nobody wants to swap places with Xi Jinping. What? I don't know why you would say that. Maybe he wants to, and he's trying to deny himself. It is peculiar, but it's par for the course. I mean, let's talk about that for a minute. Please. This was a speech that obviously was rambling incoherent that were all these stumbles. And I think Brett Hume said it. People are watching this and they're saying this man wants four more years. It's hard to get your arms around that. But we do know from that speech that his number one priority. He did have one that really stuck out for me. It's to make the world safe for Taylor Swift concerts. He said he was going to crack down on ticketing agencies like ticketmaster who put in junk fees for concerts.

What to Watch: New political vibes this State of the Union

"President Biden is set to deliver his State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress Tuesday night and seated behind him wielding the gavel will be the new Republican Speaker of the House. Kevin McCarthy. I'm Ben Thomas, with a look at that relationship. I'm just walked out having an hour conversation with this president that I tell you in perspective was a good conversation. That was the House speaker last week at The White House after meeting with Biden on raising the nation's borrowing limit. Ahead of the president's State of the Union address, McCarthy told reporters our debt is now a greater burden than it has been at any time since World War II. Republicans have refused to raise the debt limit unless Biden accepts cuts and federal spending, but Biden says it's not up for negotiation. Congress must pay the nation's bills when the country will face economic calamity. McCarthy's response, we must commit to finding common ground on a responsible debt limit increase. Turning up the pressure. Mister president, it's time to get to work. Ben Thomas Washington

Joe Biden Seems to Think He's "Curing Inflation"

"May see some market trepidation this week. I would expect it by the way I am not exactly what you would call a bull in this sort of economy, even though some people are like, oh, you know, it's great. Inflation is coming down. You know what? It's not. It's not coming down fast enough. We got the consumer personal expenditure index, which I don't even think is the right way to be looking at inflation. I really don't. There's some idiosyncrasies about it that would not make it my favorite metric if I were on the Federal Reserve board of governors to be looking at, but nonetheless, this is a thing that they watch, and it's at 5%, so they're like, oh, that's great. Well, let me just say, again, because it's not my favorite metric. If you were to actually look at this on an apples to apples basis and you went back to the early 1980s, when Paul Volcker had to raise rates so aggressively in order to contain inflation, what you would actually find is that we're much closer to roughly 14 percent. Inflation just like we were back then. And guess what else? We got all kinds of international problems. I mean, the balloon thing, this is a whole other level stuff, but nonetheless, back then, we had the Middle East crisis, and so as a result of that, you had escalating oil prices, which we have a little love today. We also have escalating food prices, leading us very much into a stagflationary style in environments. So be prepared Tuesday Tuesday night, we're going to hear from the president of the United States who's going to tell us, oh, everything's great. I mean, he actually is either stupid enough or delusional enough or deceptive enough to have sat there with a straight face on Friday and have said this about inflation. For any blame for inflation. Should you just the president? By taking blame inflation, no. Why not? Because it was already there when I got here, man. Remember what the economy was like when I got here? Jobs were hemorrhaging. Inflation was rising. We weren't manufacturing a damn thing here. We were in real economic difficulty. That's why I don't. Thank you. Okay, I just need to set the record straight on that. They're really irritates me. When people just so blatantly lie about things like the economy where we actually have metrics that we can go back and look at, including, of course, inflation. 1.4% inflation. That's what we had when Joe Biden came to office. But then he added his third stimulus check. I mean, we'd already had two from the federal government. I warned it was too many. Tuesday stimulus checks. Plus all that the Federal Reserve was doing, we certainly didn't need a third one, plus more money printing from the Federal Reserve. It was absolutely absurd.

"Amounts are quite significant. So it does have a compounding effect over time. He's been writing about it since last summer and well, even before that, but since this whole infrastructure law took shape at Bloomberg intelligence, if you want to stay ahead of the game, follow Chris and we'd love to stay in touch with you, Chris, because I think we just pointed out, we're going to be talking about this literally for years. Chris chalino also congrats on pronounced the name the right way. Anyone else would have said celino, right? Bloomberg intelligence, thank you, Chris, don't be a stranger. I'd love to hear quickly from our two panelists on this because it's important stuff for our Bloomberg audience Genie Chan xeno and John Hart. This is what Joe Biden is talking about Jeannie. How does he get a conversation like that across to the American people next Tuesday night without totally walking out? Yeah, I mean, it's going to be a challenge, but it's a really important part of what he wants to say not only next Tuesday and the State of the Union, but in his potential campaign if he chooses to run, and that's about the implementation phase of what he was able to accomplish over the last two years. This whole sort of theme that we're seeing emerged about America reborn and a big part of that is improving our infrastructure, which is wildly in need of repair. I live in New York and I could tell you firsthand so much needs to be done on the roads bridges tunnels and everything else here and across the country. So he wants to talk about the implementation phase and he wants to make that a huge part of what he's talking about going forward. Listen, he's working on that gateway tunnel for you. Thank you. It's time you're on the train. Think about it. John, this was a bipartisan bill. President Biden likes to remind everybody I know that a majority of Republicans did not vote for it, but how much of a help could this be for Republicans on the campaign trail next election? Well, it could be a big help. Look, you know, constitutional conservatives will tell you that there's two things the government should be able to do under our constitution. One is defense spending, the second is regulate interstate commerce. So there is a much deeper support for infrastructure spending on the right than I think than people understand. There's an acceptance that smart infrastructure spending has an incredibly high multiplier effect. You know, 1.76, so there's a lot of different studies on it, but it's big and it's significant. And but you have to translate that to common language. So a phrase is bang for the buck. You get a lot of bang for your buck for certain types of spending not all spending is created equal. This is where the keynesians dropped the ball because if you hire somebody to take a bucket and pull water one side of a pool and support another side of the pool, you're not creating any wealth. But if you're as a family, if you're investing in your own education, your child's education. That 50, $200,000 can translate into 20 million over a lifetime of two. John, great conversation and closing thoughts straight ahead. This is Bloomberg. You see the progressive presents adjusting to the suburbs. I never really thought about tools until I bought a house in the suburbs. It's like this weird homeowner test if I need a tool for a project and don't have it, and my neighbor Ted loves to give me that look when I asked a brawl a poll saw. This is what she said if I lived in Pennsylvania, I would have already cast my vote for John fetterman. For many reasons. "17? Oh, you're close. 2019, WCC title game. That's the only other time. So they are now two and 11 all time against AP number one ranked teams. Saint Mary's got it done. Listen, I, to me, it was more about saint Mary's and Gonzaga. But if you want to make it about Gonzaga, I completely understand. That's totally fine. By all means, but this was, to me, first of all, I was watching this game, I was like, look at this crew saint Mary's has on the floor right now doing this to Gonzaga. It was just awesome. They had an Adam Morrison understudy dressed in red. That dude love it. Tommy cussy. Tommy cousy, come on now. Guy looks like he's balling out against Gonzaga, and then he's ready for the UFC after cardin. Once the game's done, incredible. Incredible stuff there. Good, good on saint Mary's. Team can make the sweet 16, yes or no. Of course they can. Yeah, they can. Like, they're legit good. And I think you're better at ignoring the Gonzaga skeptics than I am. But I tweeted it at some point, the same thing everybody else tweeted. The team's right second, third, fourth, 5th, and 6th. They've all lost today, and number one Gonzaga is playing right now. And somebody's like, well, they would lose two if they played somebody. I was like, saint Mary's is top 25 and basically every computer. Like saint Mary's is legit good. Like playing at saint Mary's is like playing at Texas, but for whatever reason, it doesn't resonate with people the same way. I agree. I agree. Saint Mary's was impressive to me. So and I would, I think that's the one that will prevent them from being like truly off the radar sneaky sweet 16 pick as you beat Gonzaga that way. But I think it also gets Gonzaga back on track. Who said it? Someone said it. I can't remember who, but they basically said, listen, Gonzaga was almost like sleepwalking to the end of the season. Maybe they needed to wake up game. And maybe they did. And maybe this was maybe this was that game. They're the one seed and they'll play Saturday, I think, in the WCC semis. They finished 16 and O at home this season, saint Mary's does, and they just collapsed on drew Timmy. I mean, they made life difficult for him. He was O of 8 from the field in the first half, finished two of ten from the field and the game had four turnovers. Chet was bad. Just a bad performance all the way around. Just a bad performance. If you mark for you, hope like, all right, we got that out of us. Dad, we won't do another one of those 'cause maybe not surprising that saint Mary's won the game. Really surprising that Gonzaga never led for a second of that game. They were down the entire time, and now both of these teams are off until next Monday. When they will play in the West Coast conference, semifinals. It's that far. It's not even Saturday. It's next Monday. It's always next Monday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. I have the calendar screwed up in my own. Yeah, because they always go Monday. That's right, San Francisco's on the four and their Saturday. Yep, I got you. Yeah, so yeah, semifinals, next Monday, championship game next Tuesday night. If it goes as bracketed, we will watch Gonzaga saint Mary's again. Number two Arizona got smoked at Colorado, 79, 63. Tommy Lloyd afterward said, this game has no impact on anything. And he's basically right, Arizona still about to win a PAC 12 title. They can actually clinch it if they beat USC on Tuesday, Arizona still projected as a number one seed. In the NCAA tournament. So I don't think he was trying to downplay the loss as much as he would just speaking factually. Like everything we want to do when our league and be a one seed, the inspire tournament, that stuff is still on the table even with this loss and obviously it's technically true. If you're looking at the Ken pom, box score here, you can see the wind probability, that red line there. It's got a steeper vert drop than going to breckinridge. You hear me, brah? You hear me? No, okay. I'll skip talk for you. How about this? Did you realize I'm not going to trivia time you? Did you realize Arizona has lost 5 games in a row at Colorado? House of horse. How about this? Did you realize this? The PAC 12 champion has lost at Colorado 5 of the past 6 seasons. So what is this? You do not walk into what is this? Is this the course on or what is it? What is it? What is it? Hold on, let me look. Let me look. No idea. I should know, and I feel like I know it. I've been there, I think, and I don't know what it's called. See you event center. Okay. You know what? I actually appreciate the very basic approach. It's to see you event center. What do you want from us? Why would I have been a ten minute meeting three decades ago? We got to name this thing. Anyone got any good ideas? No, so you have event center meeting adjourned. Sounds good. I've been there, but I don't remember why. We're getting a Spencer Dinwiddie arena, comment from Russ. I do, I do like the Dinwiddie. Okay, so that is kind of a while stat, though. This.

"Here. This is the Paul Fein bomb show hour three podcast. And welcome back to the second half of the program, what an entertaining first half it was, especially some of the calls. More of your phone calls ahead and Jennifer is up next. Hey, Paul. Hey there, Jen, Jennifer. I just have keep hearing all these Georgia people carrying out about it and how they should put JT Daniels in and do you remember last year, all those Alabama people carry it on about the fact that Matt Jones was the quarterback and why didn't they put brass young in? Well, that was a conversation going into the season. You're right. Many thought Bryce's a real big conversation. But look how that turned out. It turned out pretty well. Mag Jones is. It turned out pretty well. Yes. And Georgia fans, let's put it that way. Matt need take a deep breath and wait. Well said, thank you very, very much. Johnny is up next. Hello, Johnny. Hey Paul. Good afternoon. Hey, I just wanted to share a quick story with you. I'm hearing a lot of folks call in and say, it's tough to beat somebody twice. And it reminded me of a story from the 8th grade of my own personal experience, though. And it went kind of like this. Big Larry taught me in the hall that day and not to get too graphic with what happened, but let's say he administered a beat down to old Johnny Mack. I promise you, Paul, three weeks later, I didn't say big Larry and the hull and say, hey, it's gonna be tough for a second time around. What about the fourth time around? I mean, that's what we're talking about here. Yeah, I know what you're I know what you're saying. I don't talk to a million experts as you have listened and probably heard it as well. And they all think it's going to be different, but how much different I think is the question. Well, Paul, I just wanted to share that quick story with you. Johnny McIntyre like you did pretty well. Whatever happened to big Larry? Well, last time I saw him he was leaving school at 16. Of course, he was four years older than us in the 6th grade. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. But anyway, this is a first time caller, been a listener since the GM nobody liked was up in center point or that kind of thing. So we appreciate poll and thanks for the show. Thank you very much. And a big layer, if you're out there, give us a call. We were curious whatever happened to you after the 8th grade locker room incident. This next guy has been pounded and pummeled countless times on this program. And the thing that I admire the most about him is that he keeps coming back. He is Johnny Mack. And we are big Larry. Red dog, you're on the air. Say something you have never said before. It makes sense, please. Okay, I got something for you new to that. Well, I'm going to say something about the Alabama fame that called for Mississippi that records the Georgia dome. Yeah. The Georgia down was stored out like ten years ago. Yeah. And then he talked about the braising the world search. Well, the braid has won the World Series in 2021. I must have missed that. Did you catch up? Hold on, did you tell me please don't say any more because I've got the braves, who did they play? They played the Astros. I've got the braves in the Astros on my VCR. And I was going to watch that next Tuesday night when I got back from don't tell me anymore. I don't need to know what happened. I've been meaning to watch that series for you. I hope it goes 7 games. You got a bark like a dog with me. Now my question on the braves is who will be the game 7 pitcher? Will that be Maddox smoltz?.

All right. See you guys. You know, it's amazing to me years ago when I worked in a country bar. I know what we paid the bands for the week then. Bands would love to make that now. You have a lot of places to say. Hey, if you'll play here, you'll get the exposure and all this. Yeah, yeah, We have exposure. What we need to do is is pay our musicians. They got to make a living, too, And it really does make a difference if you have the musician Or or a bad at a bar. It's just more more fun. It just is and reach reach out to the guys on Facebook. If you have a food truck or something, they say, Look at I'll park it there. If you would like, just reach out to him. I'm sure you can help out. However, you can. Okay lawmakers. These I love hearing stories like these. I never know when it gets anywhere, though long lawmakers are trying to sign into legislation. Bill where it would have to make companies make it easier for you to unsubscribe. Here's what I mean. Oh, please. So you say Okay, Here's your trial. One week, Uh, service. Tries for a week. You don't like it? Get off. That happens all the time. There's a TV show or a movie. Try our free seven day trial discontinue at any time. Good, good luck finding it well or even if you do it. They They can bill under different names. That's not the company Mhm and she happened to me over the weekend. I can't remember what it was. It was something dot com. I looked it up and I said, Oh, this is just a place that bills For other companies. Uh, I said, I don't remember ordering whatever this is for this price, I deleted it and in contact of the credit card company and sure enough, it was something that was a trial basis that I Canceled and they were still doing it. But legislators are trying to make it easier for is called the Unsubscribe Act. I support more of these, By the way, if you're going to just, you know, sit in Frankfurter sitting in the nation's capital, and it argue amongst yourselves and never get anything done. Everyone will be behind stuff like this. It makes free trials easier to unsubscribe, and I hope that passes. We need more comments it if they had more common sense legislation like the dummy numbers. It really aggravates me when I get a phone number. Pop up on my on my cell phone, and it looks like something that you know it's a 502 or something. And then you try to call back and you can't. Yep, I don't see how that should be legal for people to call you from a dummy number where you can't call them back from Does that make sense? I just don't answer it if I don't know it Well, I don't either, but it really irritates me that you could do that to begin with. Well, what happens to a lot of these things? Sometimes they're paid through Amazon like my Hello, I think goes through Amazon somehow. So you have these 3 90 nine's here. 3 99 is there you don't really pay attention to it right? And it adds up I think there's something most of the scams are like that. If if you're if someone's only skimming two bucks off of you, right, right, Probably not gonna notice either do notice. I'm like, Why would I question that? It's too. It's too. Or maybe it's something Susan did. I don't know It's two box. What do you do usually always something. This is what you get 22 bucks. What do you do, then? It's 40 bucks. What do you do, but I wish I wish they would do it with the phone numbers where you had If you ever placed a call to someone, it has to be from a number where you can call them right back at or at least find out what company was. "The storyline should be again If you had the grand pitching DeGraan verse Otani, and that that would have been awesome need, but we're also going to have a home run Derby and probably the most home run Heavy ballpark in baseball, Of course field. The ball flies out, of course field all the time. And there's zero intrigue on the home run Derby when it's being played in a ballpark like this, which also you would think there would be a lot of intrigue because, but it just shows you that baseball nationally as much as I love baseball. I want to baseball game on on Saturday had an awesome time being back. In the ballpark baseball nationally. We barely even talking here. Unless that there are a few reasons right? A brawl happens. Someone's cheating, or there's something disgraceful that goes on in the game or the one positive time, right? When it's the postseason and everyone's in on post season baseball because postseason baseball is awesome, but basically this All Star game usually Monday Tuesday, ones day of next week. It's all baseball. Baseball, baseball, baseball baseball. Unless of Otani goes off unless of Otani is great, which I hope he is because he has been such a special storyline. And I've told this before. A few years ago, I was actually about to go to Yankee Stadium. I did go to the game and I was told it was going to be Tanaka. No Tani on the mound going up against one another. Otani got scratches still played, But I was going to the game and it shows you all the problems of Major League baseball. I know he's currently hurt right now. But I was going to that game as a sports talk radio hosts and also a big fan of baseball. I didn't say wow, I'm going to see Mike Trout play. I said, Wow, I get to see Show a Otani a at the time. Otani was an unknown here in America of what type of baseball player could be because we haven't seen him play on U. S soil, and Mike Trout is having one of the greatest careers of all time. And you look at the angels, and it speaks to what Otani is doing where people actually care about the Angels. When we know they're not making the playoffs because of the unique ability that he has to be able to not only pitch at a high level but then dominated mash at the dish, Zach, I'm such a good guy that I'm going to give you the three things that I would allow baseball to do to make this all Star game. Have some buzz. Wow, you actually came prepared today, usually Usually I know when you're filling it on this show I have to. I know that you'll get us on the air. You'll get us off the area. Everything will be fine going in and breaks. But I usually have to prepare for your jackass Ary where you say something That's absolutely absurd and has nothing to do with what we're talking about, Because you just want to be able to get your opinions out there. For example, we could be talking baseball You'll be like in other years working with you. Hey, we're going to get into the Tampa Bay Lightning. And are they going to win the Stanley Cup tomorrow? So you're telling me there are three things Don't give him to me yet. You're saying there are three things that you have that will fix Major League. Baseball's all started professional. So yes. Are you a professional broadcast? Yes, that's it. You know what that's called A tease. It is exactly see. Wow, We have synergy today. I'm learning because I was about to say shut your mouth don't speak. You know any further because when we come back in seven minutes, which I don't know how great of a tease it is, because I don't know how many people care about my kins. Three things. They're going to fix Major League baseball's All Star game, but I'm intrigued. And number one, right. Tani is not in there. I have to imagine because if that's what you're giving me Well, no crap, no blank, Sherlock, Right. Otani has to be in that These are three outside of the box things that they should allow to happen already. Well, I don't know. Yeah, He may be hijacking the show the show, maybe going off the rails. We'll find out what happens in about seven minutes. Not one thing you didn't do as a great up as a great filling producer here, and I will call you a great and I'll regret that I'm assuming act isn't working today. See, I'm working today because they did take off Friday and I switched you off these but I'm imagining acts not working today. No, it's the legend Mike McCann. Ah, he is. I'm telling you, Mike McCann, one of the best voices here. At CBS Sports Radio, and not only that, he's a big time baseball fan. I bet you he's fed up with the state of Major League Baseball. Plus, his baseball team is not really all that good this year. They still got a cheese right on both. You're right on both counts, Mike how you been? By the way, I haven't I haven't seen you have spoken to you in a while. Everything good with you and your family. Very good, very good. Enjoying the summer of One more update after this, and we'll be heading out of the pool and cooling off. But, you know, you know where baseball makes a mistake, and I don't want to take too much time. Sure, why is there no arm twisting on the Mets with baseball's mid summer showcase coming up next Tuesday night? Why didn't rob Manfred or somebody You're a little whatever on the mentioned saying. We need a diagram. We need to Graham and Otani as the starting pitchers in the All Star game. We'll throw you a favor. If you help us out, I'll tell you why it's because Rob Manfred doesn't have any control or any respect inside of his sport, and he doesn't have a damn clue what he's doing. But without further ado, we'll get to an update. Here's Mike McCann. CBS Sports flag. Not to mention that the baseball schedule maker left it completely devoid of baseball on this holiday after all holidays. So where do we start? We started Wimbledon with Roger.

"Law expert or Supreme Court expert, they'll say. That the Supreme Court while the you know getting them, you know, nominated in and sworn in as kind of a political back and forth. Once they're on the court. It's a call balls and strikes the situation. It's not as partisan as it's made out to be. And for the last several months It's been that way. And they really they've been voting a lot of unanimous decisions. Nine No, some 81. Some Democrats favor someone Republicans favor so we've heard a lot less of the packing the court conversation. Until now because the Supreme Court in a 6 to 3 decision Upheld the Arizona voting rules that would restrict ballot harvesting, and it would restrict the submission of provisional ballots outside of one's home precinct. Now they seem like to no brainer. Well, duh. They should be allowed to do that things, right? Yeah. If you're swimming a provisional ballot, you gotta do it where you live, and to you can't have random people picking up ballots and dropping them off at the polling. The only place your ballot should go from your hand needs to go into the counter or into the box. But nowhere else well, and the Supreme Court Kind of world. They didn't really make an opinion on that. What they're basis was was that Arizona isn't doing anything constitutionally crazy here. They're not restricting voting and you've heard that term a lot. Voter restriction laws, voter suppression. And they came out and said, no, that's not what's happening in Arizona. And what are Democrats saying now? Well, guys, I think it's time we revisit this packing the court discussion. Let's get that committee Looking at how much how possible that will be there. Basically, when the Democrats finally lose, they don't get something they want. They immediately go to let's change the rules. Let's fix this immediate well. And Stephen Breyer is getting There is always some speculation. He could retire here soon, Right? Well, I mean, But now is the perfect Biden could nominate or say if he retired. Now would be the perfect time for them because they've got a 50 50 with Camilla When in the Senate, they've got the house and I got your Biden so But it's just ridiculous to me now, right that that the Democrats want to that Now it comes up again because they get a result. They're not happy. What? I don't understand. It seems like the court. Look at the Constitution. The Constitution gives way for the states to set their own election laws. So how was it 6 to 3? Uh, the other three were pretty partisan, I guess. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, it's I'm not surprised, but this is what Um what, Uh, justice, Alito said, and when he was arguing back against those who dissented. He was arguing against the three, he said. You know? The Voting Rights Act is fine. The descent was correct about that. The three who voted against this, but there is nothing democratic about their attempts to bring about a wholesale transfer of authority. To set voting rules from states to the federal courts, basically saying if the states are doing it, right Then leave them alone. Let the stage do it right And they said Arizona, you're fine. You don't want to. You don't want to federalize elections? Well, and you know what That means? You know, we've got this special session coming up next month where Texas is going to take up the voting. This is a win for that. The Democrats here probably are going to have a lot of legal standing to challenge that same in Georgia. Joe Jordan. When did we have such a problem with voting rights? Did start with Bush in 2000, or was it with Trump and 16? When did it all Because before that, I don't recall anybody really. Being all that angst up about having to go to the polls on the first Tuesday of every of every, uh of the month to go do their their voting. I think Covid shook everything. Yeah, I think the Cove Cove a did it because of everyone was scared. Well, don't get a good crisis Go to waste. I think a lot of people Cynically jumped in on that. Yeah. So the United States just violating their own their own election laws. Okay, We got states opening them up now. So do you think maybe by this next week we can go back to just go into the polls? I would think so shot at that. I would. I would think so. I would think so. It's I hope so. Yeah, it's 7 27. By the way, James and Midlothian. Congratulations, getting our four pack of Rangers tickets. You were going to see the Rangers hopefully win against the Tigers next Tuesday night. So congratulations, James coming up at 7 37. Uh, still no fireworks at Mount Rushmore. And the governor in South Dakota is ticked off. And I think, rightfully so we'll get into that. But first, Nicolo say is going to have the 7 30 news Next Boy Scouts of America have reached a settlement with victims of child sex abuse. 15 minutes could save you 15% or more. My dad used to say that sure, Yeah, it's from Geico. Yeah. Whenever I would ask my dad for life advice, he'd sit me down and say, son. 15 minutes could save you 15% or more. And look at me now. A well adjusted adult with the drawer full of plastic bags. I'll never used. Okay. I'm confused. Was your dad a license? Geico agent? Uh, he was just a real good dad.
