Krystle Matthews Wins SC Primary Runoff Despite Crazy Leaked Call

"Support. James O'Keefe hits home run after home run, and he recently has an amazing one from his project veritas action as well, and yesterday I think was his birthday. James, welcome back to Charlie Kirk show. Great to be with you, Charlie. What a big story this isn't South Carolina. Tell us all about it. Well, this is a democratic candidate for the United States Senate, running in the primary, the primary was last night, June 28th, which is also my 38th birthday, so quite a bit. It's also Elon Musk's birthday, by the way, June 28th is quite a day. And this is the crystal Matthews using racially charged language while encouraging illicit campaign tactics. She was caught on a, in a she was talking to someone inside of a jail. And it was a recorded line and a whistleblower provided this to us. Some of these quotes are pretty incendiary. This is the candidate. And by the way, she won last night. So now she's going to face Tim Scott. The South Carolina U.S. senator in the general election. She said, quote, where's my dope money, my duffel bag boys? Give me that dope money. Honestly, and I'm an N word at heart. I love black people. We need folks that can wear black at night and take down their effing yard signs. I mean, just this is just some of the most shocking things you'll over here. Now, just this week, yesterday, the house legislator in South Carolina has put together an ethics committee to investigate this woman who has just won last night the primary in South Carolina. And a lot more to say, but that's the

"Hey folks, it's Jim Hansen. I have sitting here in studio. Oblivious to the fact that we just went live because I was talking to my good friend amazing filmmaker and one of the most culturally elite members of the America first crowd, Amanda milius. Welcome. Thank you. I'm so glad to be on in the new spot. Isn't this cool? This is like a crazy show. It is the coolest thing. I know. No, I almost am like not worthy. I would like like I said, I almost wore sweats. I know. You got to do that. On the bottom. You have to have the top here. Yeah, I'm used to just being able to pull it together on the top, and then everything else is like yoga pants, and I'm like, maybe I'll get dressed today. Yeah. Yeah, well, we did it. And we're on the late night TV talk thing. Now, I want to talk kind of production value. Because I don't know if you notice, there is a giant show trial propaganda fest for the invented insurrection going on. That was pretty, I mean, yesterday was, there are some really good memes created out of yesterday. Like if a day creates good memes. It's a good day. So yeah, it's us. It's our team winning. Yeah, there was this one where like, I think they had like shots from one of those White House down or something movies or and then they had, I mean, it was so with the beast. The grass, like, that's basically what she was describing. I mean, it was absolutely insane. And good on them. But I want to kind of get into your area of expertise because the left decided when they were going to have these show trials that they were going to hire a TV news executive to stage them. Tell us super cool. It tells you a lot. And then you've got legs zelensky going on like every meeting with every celebrity he possibly can. You're like, man, this guy's got a lot of time on his hands 'cause I'm just trying to run a production company, like not run a war. I don't even have time to do that. That's amazing.

Mark Walters: Dems Are Publicly Printing the Names of Gun Owners

"Me just talk to you real quick about this. This broke overnight or at least last night, California gun owners, data breach after state unveils a firearms portal knowing you. I know you know about this story. So talk to us about that a little bit before we get into some of the other topics. Yeah, it was actually the armed American news page that we own that broke that story. They did great work. But here we have, this takes me back, Carl, several years to the Cleveland plain dealer. Many years ago, that began publishing because of their hatred of firearms rights in Ohio and Ohio was passing its concealed carry weapons law. They began printing the names in the newspaper of every Ohio citizen that had a permit so that their friends and neighbors can see who had guns near them. And now we see this happening. So this is not unusual that the Democrats will do this because they so hate the right to keep and bear arms. Is it a leak? A little bit leak is the right word to use. This was intentional. No question about it. So yeah, leak may very well be the right word to use. But when the account when the California attorney general puts this out publicly to shame gun owners because of the state loss because of the New York brewing case, we see the level of hatred that the Democrats push when it comes to our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. They simply don't like it. It doesn't fit their agenda of civilian disarmament and God forbid civilians have the right to keep and bear arms. We're now going to let everybody know who has a concealed weapons license, which leaves these people, Carl, open for identity theft, open for theft, open for burglaries at their home. Robberies, et cetera. So it's a mess, but we expect this kind of activity from the Democrats. They hate us.

Dinesh Addresses the Latest Fact-Check of '2000 Mules'

"The latest fact check on 2000 mules, this is a funny one. It's written by a guy named will Nevin. Assistant professor and program coordinator for communications media. This is actually ironic because we're going to examine his ability to communicate, which let's just say is not superior. But why should it be? He's after all, at Alabama, a and M university. Now, I guess that's where you go after you graduate from night school, Alabama, a and M university, you're a come. I've heard of Texas a and M everyone has, but Alabama and I'm really anyway, every university does have to hire professors and I guess they found this guy somewhere. So he claims the quote experts have thoroughly debunked the claims of 2000 meals blah blah blah. That's just the news world recycled boilerplate. And then he goes, but even though it's been debunked, there's an interesting moment. And he goes, yeah, it doesn't mean the film is without some interesting moments or rather an interesting moment. He finds only one moment in the film that interests him, and what is that? Well, it's a scene involving what in the movie is called dog guy. Now let's imagine the scene here, and I'm just quoting from the movie here. We see a guy with a dog and Catherine engelbrecht says he's got the ballots under his arm, now he's got the rest he pulled out of the bag. You can see all this going on. So clearly something fishy and corrupt is going on. You've got a guy with a backpack of ballots who's pulling them out and stuffing into the box. And then Phillips then says, and he's going to get his camera ready to take the pictures as he puts them in there, and if you consider the brazenness of this, it's in the middle of the day. Now, the professor, this is will Nevin weighs in to say, the film claims without evidence that the procedure for mules included taking pictures of ballots in order to be paid excluding more reasonable explanations like, say, people sharing pictures of their participation in democracy on social

Author Christiana Hale on the Concept of 'Medieval Cosmology'

"And if I was walking back I'm talking to Christiana Hale, who hails different spelling from Idaho. She's in Idaho now. I am not an Idaho. I want to be very clear. The book that she has written and it is wonderful. It's called deeper heaven, a reader's guide to C. S. Lewis's ransom trilogy. So Christiana, C. S. Lewis wrote so much. Some people know him from the screwtape letters. Many people know the Narnia chronicles and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Very few people know that he wrote a an absolutely spectacular trilogy of novels for adults, often called the ransom trilogy. They are literarily magnificent and there's just, they're full of so much stuff, so much genius, so many levels. But one level, which is vital in which you write about in your book, which you clarify, is this thing called the medieval cosmology. So let's just break it down for the audience. The ancients believed, and the medieval world believed that the earth is at the center, now we now know that's not true, but it kind of doesn't matter. They believe the earth is at the center. And then they could see with the naked eye before telescopes, they could see the sun, the moon, and mercury, Mars, Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter. That's it. Right? So those were the medieval planets. And when you talk about medieval cosmology, first, that's what you're talking about, correct? Yes, yes, correct. So the 7 planets of their cosmology. But beyond that, they saw the planet says having very distinct personalities too, which is something that's very foreign to us. We just look up and we see them and they're pretty in the night sky and they're bright. So give us an example of what we mean by that. So for example, Jupiter, I would argue they would see as one of the most important planets. And so in the system. So he is and I say he because it's very connected to the Roman God Jupiter after whom it's named. But they would see him as the king of the planets. So as Jupiter is the king of the Roman gods, and so connected with kingly Ness and all of the all of the qualities that are associated with what we think of a king being like you can see also they could see with the naked, well, not quite with the naked eye, but as rudimentary telescopes were developed, they could see the spot in Jupiter's side. So he's the wounded king, which then draws connections to Christ, obviously, on the cross, his side was pierced. And so they're comes into all of these, then theological connotations as well.

I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas, but what I decided to do was to fulfill my profession, which I entered before my husband was in public life. You know, I'm not sitting here, some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette. I'm sitting here because I love him and I respect him and I honor what he's been through and what we've been through together. And you know, if that's not enough for people, then heck. Don't vote for him. Wait, by the way, did you hear the accent? This woman is phony as a $3 Bill. Phony. Why? I just love bail and I just love cooking fried chicken and working in the kitchen. And now she's like, stand by my man. I'm not gonna do that. Really, come on, Hillary. All right, cut number 11. The great story here for anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it. Is this vast right-wing conspiracy that has been conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president. And we all remember what happened during the Benghazi hearings. With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they'd go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, senator. What happened to miss hill is accent.

"Named Gianna Caldwell. Gianna Caldwell is a Fox News regular. I see him on social media on Fox News a lot. Young black conservative who suffered the unimaginable this week when his little brother was murdered in Chicago and as painful as it had to be as difficult as it had to be. This strong courageous young man gianno Caldwell felt a need to appear on national television last night. I come here tonight as it, a man who feels shattered. My baby brother, Kristen, who just turned 18 this year is no longer with me. He. Was a good kid. And certainly knowing that living in Chicago seemingly comes with a price these days, but I would never have intended or rather expected that it would come with a death sentence for my baby brother. Black bodies are being littered in the streets of Chicago. And it's not just impacting African Americans here, is impacting everyone. You can't go downtown Chicago. Now without looking around your shoulder, you may be shot there. The truth of the matter is we need to uncuff the police and that's what's happened. The policies, the software crime policies that have been pushed by many of the elected officials here are only causing more crime. They've only bared dead fruit. And now my family is paying the price.

The Left's 'Night of Rage' Falls Flat

"Or so on Friday on this show, I told you that do not, you know, they were talking about this big night of rage. And that the leftists were going to march to march industry, and we were going to have millions of people all over all over America. That were protesting the Supreme Court's ruling on abortion. And it turned out not to be the case. There were sporadic cases of violence. But by and large, it was not a night of rage. It was rather, what's the word I'm looking for here? I mean, it really was. And again, when you, when you actually look at the numbers, when you look at the polling data, and number one, nobody's talking about abortion, nobody cares about abortion right now. The only thing they're worried about are these gas prices, the grocery store prices and the economy. That's it. And whether or not Joe Biden is going to get us into a shooting war with nuclear weapons with Russia. Aside from that, abortion is way down on the importance list. But beyond that, I think we've raised a generation of people who just they don't agree with roe V wade. So this was not a big deal. I mean, people have accepted that the Supreme Court made its ruling. It's not like abortion has been outlawed. It goes back to the states and every state has their own choice to make their own decision to make. So I think that's one of the reasons why we did not see a massive outbreak of violence around the country.

"I want to get to drew Hernandez. He's right outside of the Supreme Court building. Please excuse the background noise, but it's important we hear from drew, drew, what is the vibe on the ground right now? You're right outside of the U.S. Supreme Court. Well, Charlie, this is a historic moment in the United States of America worldwide overturning of roe V wade. We were able to capture votes, sides, both reactions in real time. Here on the ground, when it was announced, the second it was announced on the pro life side, there were obvious cheers, jubilation, people just celebrating because of this historic overturning to save the lives of babies, even though it'll go back down to the states. Moving forward is still moving forward for the pro life movement. And for the pro baby movement, but then the other side immediately was figured and erupted into tears where crying, calling the court illegitimate right in front of the Supreme Court. And just moments ago, I don't know if you've seen the video Charlie, I just put it up maybe about 5 minutes ago. Congresswoman AOC did come out here and join the pro abortion protesters and was literally accusing the Supreme Court's decision and the Supreme Court of being illegitimate themselves as sitting U.S. congresswoman out here doing that and calling for people to take to the streets. Dinesh Answers a Listener Question About Video Surveillance

"Let's go, I don't do our next question. Hey danesh, sorry if I missed it just a couple of quick questions. On those videos where you've got the person at that Dropbox, does the cell phone data match the exact time of that person that was there? Because then again, then you wouldn't need video of any other lockbox that that person had had visited if you at least had them on one because I know one of the objections is that we don't have any video of one person visiting multiple dropboxes, but again, if the video that you do have matches the cell phone data, then that's great. And the second question is, I think you also said there's like 4 million minutes of video or something like that and so it's just kind of interesting that out of 4 million minutes or what have you, there isn't more videos of the same person at different dropboxes. I mean, what sort of what other information is on those 4 million minutes of videos. So it'd be great to know what else might be there. Thank you very much. Bye bye. Now, I'm going to answer those two questions in reverse order, because while it's true that true the vote has 4 million minutes of video, it seems like a lot of video. But think about it. If you're getting video from a single Dropbox from October 1, early voting through election day, you're going to have lots of video that's just blank space. You're going to go through the day, you're going to go through the night. And so most of that video is just nothing happening necessarily at all. At least in terms of mules. You might have people coming in and depositing one vote in the Dropbox, something like that. That's fine. There's nothing untoward about that. But to the degree that you're looking for mules, a lot of that video is truly you may say empty space. The point is that there was so little video taken compared to what should have happened. The rules call for video everywhere. 24/7. And so that would have been a lot more than 4 million, probably more like 40 million or a 100 million minutes of video had they done their job, but they didn't do the

"We also got on the panel last night to the one 6 hearing, and a big surprise, a big surprise for me. I learned something from the one securing history, cut number 23. What do you make of this hearing today and overall how these have kind of come out methodically? Well, today I learned something new. Something that's unusual. I learned that the assistant attorney general for the office of legal counsel, Steve engel. I've only met once and had a long conversation with once. But he very highly esteemed in Washington, D.C., and he served in that job four years for president Trump. When asked by president Trump what he would do if he fired the acting attorney general replaced him with a Trump oil is further down. He said, I'll quit. And the president backed off. That's news. That's the first time I've learned something from these hearings. And so the reason the public is fundamentally disinterested in what is going on in the Nancy Pelosi won 6 committee is that there is precious little news in these carriers. But when there is some, I notice it. And I know that the president got pushed back from one of his most trusted age and we ought to know that.

The bridge. And the people. They cannot see us or hear us. They're just shadows from the past. Look, the school's not that empty. There's a little boy alone. Forgotten by his friends. I know him. Poor boy. Now let's see another Christmas. Then they came to a house. This house seems familiar thistles. My house where I grew up. Yes, it is. And do you recognize that little boy Sitting alone Reading me is a child. Why my wife, he alone You must know the answer because my parents were working. That's why my Christmases were so sad and lonely. Come take my hand. We don't have enough time. Now I've seen enough. Go away. Don't torture me. Don't blame me. I told you these were shadows of the things that have been take me back. We have one more Stop. Our time is running out and they appeared in the garden. Scrooge was now a young man sitting in a garden beside a lovely young woman. The woman was crying. I can't marry you. Ebeneezer. This something you love more than me? Not since I love no other woman. That's true. You love money. You love it more than anything. There's nothing wrong in loving money. We got engaged when we were poor and we were happy being poor. I hope you're happy with the life you have chosen and the woman ran away from the garden. Old Scrooge and the ghost followed her when she stopped. Scrooge could see that she was a few years older. Children laughed and played at her feet. A little girl threw her arms around the woman gave her kiss. Help me tie my bonnet mother! Are they hurt Children? Yes, they are, but they could have been yours. The door opened and a man entered carrying many gifts, Father. They ran to him and hugged him. The band laughed and gave them the gifts and he hugged and kissed his wife. Stop this. Take me home, and Scrooge appeared in his own bedroom. Thank goodness it was a dream. Then the clock struck. No Albany, Zha. It wasn't a dream. I suppose you're the ghost of Christmas present? Yes, I am. I am the ghost of Christmas present. Have much to show you grabbed my robe. Hurry! We cannot be late. Scrooge Touch the hem of the spirits robe, The bedroom vanished, and Scrooge found himself on a busy snowy street. There were many people shopping for last minute gifts. Stores.

But this is a moment where Vice president Really the tackle one of the big issues that's on voters minds across the country. You know, the vice president is someone who doesn't always get the spotlight. He's overshadowed by the president. But he's always been someone who's been the big policy. You know the policy leader within the administration and he's he's going to have a chance. You really articulate what the administration wants to accomplish in the next four years if reelected and how they plan to deal with these really, if you know significant crises taking place across the country dealing with unrest in the city's deal in dealing with the police misconduct. "Don't think I really got to do anything to be honest with you. I think You know, I Often times during this, I wait and see how I feel about where I'm gonna go. But really, I think I know how I feel. I'm not gonna go anywhere. I don't think it's appropriate to be going anywhere. I think people have got to take this more seriously and It's just not good to be out and about and ah So I'm probably not going to do much. There are some concerts on the Fourth of July that are going to be interesting, and you will have some streaming a fireworks show there. But I'll see how I feel is time goes, but I really don't think I'm going to do much of anything, and I think it's appropriate to TV meandering around here and there on trying to find some place that's open. I think it's just not a good time to be doing that. So I'm gonna be a good teammate and stay hunkered down. You've got it in and going out. Not just probably barbecuing at home. It's just weird. Like you said, with with everything covered, wise, getting ramped back up, and there's no firework shows. There's really nowhere to go. ESPN this weekend. It's kind of interesting. They've been running all these. Ah, Obviously sports documentaries kicked off, Really with the last dance and course he had the LeBron thing, and they had the Sosa, McGwire and all these all these different things, I guess this weekend I read this morning. They're doing a Eagles concert. There was three shows at the form in 2018. And they're taking the best footage of all those concerts from the form in 2018. And and they're having like a big eagle's show on so fabulous forum in Inglewood. Fabulous for well, I saw them. In fact, I have my ticket stub right here. My daughter made a beautiful glass thing. And I think it was 2018. Let me go that I saw something at the forum now I saw him at Dodger Stadium, right? So it was called the classic West. And it was July 16th 2017. So it was four bands. On Saturday night, a Tiger Stadium four bands. On Sunday night, and Eagles were Saturday. Was steely Dan. Try and remember who else Sunday was Earth, Wind and fire. Ah journey. And Fleetwood Mac, who I had never seen. A concert of my daughter is just obsessed with Stevie next just to let you walk into her apartment and is a picture of Stevie. Right there that the rumors are right there. Actually, when I saw the the Sunday night show, you know, I was sitting right next to our staining the whole concert and actually was behind him for part of it and couldn't see a damn thing. Was the big redhead. Bill Walton was there, so I'm like, Well, what do you doing here or not truck? It is it a dead show. Get the God you know. So I daughters here. Can't do that anyway. Yeah, so I saw So they and they do play. The forum has become a big spot for concerts, which is the former home of the Lakers and kings. And I love the forum is the Forum club. And like, I think Lindsay Buckingham and what other maybe maybe make fleet where we're going to play right after that they were going to play. The concert at the Forum. So What is it a memorable 2018. The one that the night the night I was there, Stevie Nicks actually jumped on stage. With him. You can room with song was, but they did. Yeah, says that was unexpected. But she was going to play the next night there. Stevie's jumping on stage with the Eagles. So yeah, I've seen them. I saw them at the Dodger Stadium. Not at that concert. They're going to replace that a memorable conscious 20 years form. Here's the Here's the release. And I guess Chris Berman's gonna host if he's I guess he's a big man. Yeah, Berman is the Big Eagle's welcome to the Hotel, California reference. So he says ESPN, where the Those concert live from the Forum this holiday weekend. The Eagle spent the majority of 2018 on extensive North American tour, with Vince Gill and Deacon Fried, joining Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Three sold out concert September 12 Forth and 15th highlights from all three shows have been compiled for the new 26 song Live album and concert film that will premiere it will premiere. On ESPN. July 5th at 5 p.m. Local time here introduced by longtime Eagles fan Chris Berman, There you go. Back back back back back back back back. I hope he doesn't do that. Now hold. It doesn't make it about him. He does love music, and he loves that genre and that time frame because he's I mean a lot. Most of his references or Music related, aren't they? You know what? Quite a lot That over rising that's a sea so they could be on on ESPN ESPN and it's premiering on Yes wow. I'm looking at, actually they do away. I can't even watch it on YouTube. Right now. All this is this is fresh video. This's a premier says it's gonna premiere on ESPN. Yeah, the premiere live from the Forum this July 4th weekend. So, yeah, that's going to be their big son, and I think I better gets huge numbers. To be honest, I'm not saying it's going to get last dance numbers, but it's going to do better than probably the other stuff, Lance be water long gone summer. It's what they've been doing on Sunday night. I miss me Water, and I must say it's nice to see that lance socked. There's nothing then you mean the documentarian Lance Armstrong. You won't want to be other than other than Burns, making an appearance, which was hilarious. Other than burns. We absolutely love other than that. It was just the same old stuff and he was arrogant. He was a jerk, and he's unlikeable. It was watched the whole thing thinking there would be something different. There wasn't It was like if it was painful, but I watched it. I want to all I did not. You know what I have be water on my DVR was. I wasn't the biggest Bruce Lee fan, although in You got his ass kicked by bread pitch hilarious. And you know what? I did see the trailer from the water and the guy who played that role, man. He was good. I mean, he was exactly that's how Bruce Lee talks. Talk? Yeah. So I never saw that. But I It is on my DVR. But, yeah, Watch this. I think it's going to be good. So I mean, having referencing Laurel Canyon, the document which was on I think we actually started that Sunday nights. Maybe Saturday. I don't know. Anyway, I think they only did a couple of episodes. One of the key things was the Eagles in the formation. Of the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt was really instrumental. And Jackson Browne was like a back up. Member of that, and they all kind of put it together and down Handley, obviously and Glen Fry. One of the stars. They launched their own band, but they were they were in, you know, I think Iran stance Ban and Jackson Browne was hanging around, so a lot of it was about Three eagles, So I'm definitely gonna check this out. That's the only time I think I think I may have seen him a concert many many, many years ago. I'm gonna see a judge your stadium what? Three years ago? Ah was very cool, so I'll definitely check this. You like you's out this weekend. Yeah. I mean, it's at five o'clock on a Sunday Big venues are good and bad. I saw the Rolling Stones in Giants Stadium in New York and we maybe we're just too far up. But it was just okay. You know, I've seen the stones. Probably three times. I saw him in smaller venues. I liked it a lot more. I love open air, but I mean it was, you know, what's Giants Stadium, 75,000 people. What a jersey mean. Right? Yeah, Jersey And we're probably seen stones. Probably 33 times when you could, but I don't think I don't think I've ever seen him. Into the arena. I must have big. I must have seen him in Oakland..

"The Lakers with LeBron and Anthony Davis. The next night, Kawai, Leonard for the clippers and maybe who else clippers Lakers game would be hottest ticket. This town is seen in quite some time. It'd be it'd be amazing. You would be off the charts and Durant out for the year. The two most valuable commodities available if you call a person, a commodity are Colli, and Anthony Davis, and the, the Lakers and clippers would get one of each that's case area. Now again it's wants to come back to southern California. Go, go to the clippers where you come here, and you do battle with that team across. The what would you call it the concourse? Yeah. Right. I mean. Wow. That would be amazing proven head coach NBA championship head coach Doc Rivers, what he got out of this young team with no real star, right? This year. Jerry was part of the shopper for the groceries. Be awesome. The crazy nutty, lovable. Owner who goes absolutely crazy because he's not. I mean. Right guys van. Okay. All right. We all know about the huge trade over the weekend that the Lakers went, Anthony Davis, part of those that pieces Lonzo ball is headed to New Orleans. And what would a piece of news involving Lonzo ball be if we didn't hear from, lavar it? Like I said, I guarantee, like I said, it'd be the worst move. The Lakers evidently light never win. Another championship guaranteed. Regret like, oh McGregor have fun with it. If his crowd coach, always crashing down now in completely crash. But at least before the face, loading, again chains you can wind it and go back and I said, if you get the free brothers, you won't survive this. You let them don't. It'd be a cold day and hit, we had the person percents to believe and you didn't. So guess what? Trying to go. Okay. Can we make a pack? That's the last time we put lavar ball on the rich Eisen show. Are you got it also did good? How? So that'll be the last time look happy, Father's Day to him as you know. Cape. Ing for your children caring for your kids, kids capping is, is great. Fathering. Okay. Sure. So clearly he wants the best for his children. And, and what's best for his children is also best for him with the triple b the big baller brand. And as you see he said, I'm going to have fun with it. The video, folks for if you haven't seen it he's like half smiling. He knows. He knows that he's carnival barking, and that people are eating that op and he's this morning. I know where he said something Molly Kiram. It was awkward and untoward. And if I'm Jalen rose, I'm hitting him in the face the next time I see him. So, you know and, and. I'll just say this. I'll say this good luck to Lonzo good where he's got a fresh start if anything going on in Los Angeles, is something that, that, that, that had anything to do with struggling at all. He's got a fresh start. But you wanna talk about a brand that is collapsing. I would I would I would take the Lakers and that fight over big baller brand. Because the most accomplished ball son has. Been traded away from his hometown and his home area after being a college star here, which helped him be the second overall selection. He was used it was used to get a better player, a more complex player. And that's not the way it was drawn up with the triple b and the shoes and all.

"Your next night. Please step on the scale outside the Canadian gay. Thank you. Now as you hear that you think I'm sorry. What what did you say? You're too big and fluffy to get on the airplane fluffy. It's you. That would be the problem one hundred fifty more pounds. That was a nice way. People say you're sort of fluffy. It's fifty. One hundred and fifty pounds than I do. Now. So airlines obviously, try to estimate the weight based on a passenger gender. For example. It's a to a five for men in one sixty five for women and companies will estimate that and so what a brand new startup is doing called few matrix. They want to then say, hey, you're estimating a little. Hi there. What if we actually weighed everybody before they get on the plane that can determine how much fuel you need in reality. Because what they're saying is that they believe that most flights carry about one percent more fuel than they need more fuel more expensive. You have to burn off more fuel before you land oftentimes things along those lines as we we can save on fuel costs there. Go the tickets will be cheaper. And then you will be truly an economy type of airline. So these are this place is called fuel moment. Matrix what they wanna do is install discreet. Todd secret, discreet didn't. How you hide it though. 'cause Philly has to see the number. Oh, no, no, no number just gets. So okay. What they say is that it's a discrete type of a pressure plate that you would stay on. It would way you in some way, send that wait to whoever is making the determination on how much fuel needs to be in the jet at that exact time, then you get on the plane, and then the jet has exactly as much feels that needs. Yeah. A couple of things about this. I do not like the idea that they wanna get this chintzy on the weight because it can tell you something when we had wrestling tournaments, and you would weigh in at five thirty in the morning, you'd be surprised how much weight you can put on by the time. You hit the Florida wrestle at about seven thirty in the morning. I could weigh in at one eighty nine point five and go on the mat that about two oh five to six. Why don't know because you're rehydrating wrestlers is that I don't know anything about Andrew into high school telling the truth is that true. You fluctuate your weight was that like fifteen dollars. Yeah. What? Yes, that's ninety nine seven three are both wrestlers lying to me. Right now. Former wrestler. No, we're not why they both have eating disorders. Apparently. By the way. We don't know. Wrestling. So boy, this is not true. Let me tell you something when you when I had this in a couple of suck wait in in my senior year because I didn't want to wrestle unlimited defined that you're losing weight. Short amount of time. So I tried to be big in football tried to way ended up to eighteen was going to wrestle one ninety had a couple of weeks to get that done. So you would eat celery and enter catch me if I'm wrong here you'd eat celery and would give yourself sort of one meal in the morning, then towards the end of that cycle losing weight you choose gum all the time. And you would expel the juice of the gum into a Cup. And then you would eat ice. And I only have to do that one season sucked. Once he's indentified got really bad candy. Here's the thing you'd do is. You'd put on a rubber suit and jump rope in the shower with the water on high and then have your buddies go roll you up inside the wrestling. Mat probably not to exceed for about forty five minutes inside the residence on the YMCA bags your sweats. Six former wrestler, totally true. These guys are not lying candy from the three six. Oh, absolutely true from the four five wrestlers telling the truth. But as soon as the airlines start weighing people they're going to start charging people by how much they there that's headed down. Six some and spit. Are you kidding me? No guys. Do did this all the time hearts make you salivate more? Actually, the things you should not know. Here's the thing is some of this change in wrestling. They now pretend that they don't let you drop three weight classes, let's say here there. And maybe that's the case. But back to the hand at the airlines your texture. There's right there, obviously going to charge big people more. Here's the other thing. They're going to do. And this is this is the thing that really bugs me is imagine this. So you are let's say people fly to Europe. So they've been in Europe they've been on vacation or they're going to vacation gotta this show up at the airport normal, healthy people. Now, they get the vacation mindset. And so now you're gonna suck down fifteen points of beer, you can eat bad airport pizza your flights delayed for a couple of hours Johnson. Soul. So now you've been sitting there in the airport being forced to listen to whatever. Spam TV they have on and you've gained. There are people that say that each gained thirty pounds while that's a lot. Let's say they've each gained ten pounds. You're talking about the and a significant extra amount of weight. So I don't really dig this company. The other thing you don't dig is. They're gonna do this through your body image there, an Asiya what you way, depending on what you're wearing. Composition is you're right. They are talking about these pressurized pads well service bag drop during a full body scan to collect the data. So it's two different this first of all. Okay, wrestlers, and all these coaches and people who are texting me at nine eight nine seven three my mind is a little bit blown here from the three six. Oh, my little bro- cut down one hundred thirty to one zero three what? Yeah. Does she fifteen pound weight? Change candy. I would prefer the plane had a little extra fuel in case if a diversion occurs, but whatever that's just me. Yeah. You wonder why people have some eating disorders, and especially like, yeah. Oh, eight to ten pounds. Sure. Oh, I could do this in a couple of hours. You'd be really impressed about with them. High boys could do. Okay. Let me let me test. This one out. Let me test this on let me test this one on you on the ninety nine seven three Online Trading Academy. Text and enter tell me if you've had this experience. This is a factual thing that happened to me I could not hit. Wait, we were at loose from Clark high school in Spokane. And it was like I say I was wrestling one that could hit wait took off. You get to the loathsome point where you drop all your all your dignity. The underwear comes off. You know what I'm saying? Then you shave all the hair, and you're in there, and you can't spit anymore because you are dehydrated everything's gone. And you know, what one of the guys who was a multi multiple times state champion. He's now wrestling coach in Alaska. My buddy Vernon he said to me go stand on your head in the corner. Please put your underwear back standard, and then the corner, and I did he said stay standing on your head for a couple of minutes. So back when I could do that for a couple of minutes, I stood on my head. I went back got on the scale, and I had lost weight. And I know my coke. So no, no, no, no. My sister wrestling coach, Dale boob, Dale coach Bogue with science teacher, and he could not put his finger on it. But it worked and it was a digital scale. And I made wait on the kidding. Because the blood rush had I've sick. Maybe I burnt extra five three wrestling. The thing is totally true. I've raised four wrestlers girls and boys. It's true to all of it. Superstitions run deep, and you know, but this works. That happened. I didn't think I was gonna work. It was the digital scale is not superstitious. It was a robot scale. I weighed like the flour sacks that were from the thirties. Scales? That'd be cabinet over. Yeah. Yeah. So that is unreal. All. You'd be surprised what the coach would encourage us to do. I'm not going to tell you. I don't wanna freak candy.

"Yeah. What we're beaten down. I sunk in smoke dried face is that three were beaten down. I sunk in smoke dried face or is it is sunk in their smoke drives face. I feel like he might swallowed a few bridge words and that sentence maybe a few of them might have gotten dropped. But I get I get a feeling of a place, you know, and of time setting up the next night. Yeah. Right. Which is. This is the part that feels like they were like this is going to be a classics. We're going to sing it as if we're talking about this song in the future and you'll home this song forever. And hey, this is just like the fucking hall and Oates. It's like self referencing in song their shots. I've taken a turn. And I'm okay with it. Now. Now you like it the song start says a tribute to the music. They grew up on ends as a tribute to. We're just funny knowing that this song was originally composed attributed that music because it is just kind of. I mean, it's then going never mind about the old shit. You'll this is where it's I looked up Texas night runners on Wikipedia before coming here. Do you know that they very recently in the last couple years changed their name to Dexia? Oh, yeah. They're band name is now Dexia I did not know they were still banned thirty seven years later today have any other songs they had one other UK number one single. Visit the G join Gino, which I don't think I've ever heard. I haven't either I will say in looking up Dexia earlier. I also saw an article that said like their two thousand sixteen albums surprisingly good. And I was like I'll never know now. No offense to. So we said the whole thing together would be these people round here were beaten down. I sunk in smoke dried face, they're so resigned to what their fate is. But not us. No, never not us. Not ever. We are far too young and clever. Remember to rally row to Raleigh Ryan and you'll on the student forever. Oh, feels like some badlands shit to me. I don't wanna be curse to live their fathers lives there too young and clever. They can achieve more. But here's the irony is that they're saying this to say, so we should fuck tonight, which will inevitably take them exactly down their fathers. That's creepy. And it's not thought out. Yeah. We should have dick Sexton night not end up like our father fourteen Griffin Kasai's about high school. The tenth generation my family to do. So do you think that we are far too young and clever line is supposed to be sarcastic? I don't know. He sounds drunk against a youth. Yeah. It's a little Augist. Yeah. It's a little mean to like, my parents pretty clever. People are anyone that's their whole things like young so hot and cool like chew self-aware. Therefore, you're stupid. I'm also wondering what he says remember and then to lure to rally ri- a re-. My original times came up bringing up the maybe that was like a like a jerk off noise or something. He's like, hey, remember this. I see I think it's what you were saying he's already referencing the song. He's like remember when I did that early. This is the second beats. That's exactly. The not us part. He he says, but not it's the way he says those very simple words also doesn't river. You think you'd go full food. Whole does not sing the valve properly. It's very straight. Also throws in go before the to do. Boring. Two. This gift that the song was very hastily cuts. Yeah. I from the takes like not only did they record in twenty hours. But they finished mixing it within that same time. Put it on the records. It can I ask how long this song is into. It'll it is four minutes and forty seven still so much to go through really though. I mean, we do, but we don't really play that clip. The best part of the song. Not the end should have been the end. No, not because the next part of the best. You know, what I just realized this part is like kiss the girl. It's just a course of it's nice. It's summer, and I it's not how because they're like egging him on..

"So what are the president's top economic? Advisers says the entire economy is feeling the pain from this prolonged partial government, shutdown chairman of the council of economic advisers, Kevin Hassett was on FOX just a few minutes ago. And he hopes congress will take up the president's proposal and end the shutdown. You can think about it. The president offered a deal just a couple of years ago. The Democrats haven't even came back with a counter deal whatsoever. But he's hoping that congress will take up the president's proposal to end this shutdown. Here's Kevin Hassett. I think that the president made a fair and reasonable offer to move forward. And I think that the next thing we're going to see is an attempt to get that through the Senate. And I think I think that's going to be the next. I think if he makes it through the Senate it's gonna put a heck of a lot of pressure on the hotel, you need about ten Democrats vote for something that the president proposed in if you're a democrat and you vote for that. Well, then you might as well say goodbye to your political career Democrats will never vote for you again. Now, the president is offering a temporary protection from deportation for people brought to this country illegally as children the DACA kids. Along with some refugees from those disaster zones in exchange. He wants to five point seven billion to build a wall should Democrats say the proposal is dead on arrival. And since the president created both of those crises he says in the first place by ending DACA program of refugees. Democrats want the president to reopen. The government before any talks happened when it comes to border security. Here's Kevin Hassett, again, the chairman of the council of economic advisors. So I think we're very cognizant of CA that is this thing drags on that there are downside risks and the economy, but I think that the upside risk of resolution of this resolution of China is something that we need to factor in as well just a few minutes ago. The president tweeted out, it's a new NPR PBS poll. So this comes from something that's typically progressive and left satellites, and it shows the president's approval rating among Latinos fifty percent an increase in one year of nineteen percents. Wow. Jump in here at five one two eight three six zero five ninety toll free eight seven. Seven five nine zero five five to five, you know, speaking of the government shutdown, this painful government shutdown a lot of people. Apparently suffering as a result, just one paycheck away from homelessness or whatever. I don't know. I saw a story last night about this. I think it was on NBC. And this wasn't. This was a good example. I guess why a lot of these people are just one paycheck away from disaster. They interviewed this woman said who apparently was really struggling and she was at a food Bank. And she said, you know since this layoff. I mean one night I'm paying three hundred a three hundred dollar tab at BJ's and the next night. I'm I'm trying to find food. Doing with one hundred dollars three hundred dollars tab beach. I'm thinking, I'm thinking loser. You I think I think you just pointed out why you're one check away from disaster. Yeah. She put herself in that situation. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Wow. So anytime, you depend on the government for everything. You're always one check away from homeless. That's how it's going to be. And I I know I know these these these folks are going through a time that I've never experienced. I got that. But I'm still having a hard time with it. Gosh, her as an example, it is seven thirty seven. I wanna ask you a personal question. Please. Who are you supporting in the Super Bowl? You know, it's a difficult one. Because I don't like the way that the Rams one. I really do think that that New Orleans got screwed out of that. However, I'm so sick of.

"One of our last episodes of two thousand eighteen you heard Krista Smith, our west coast checking in about sort of what the buzz in Hollywood was which which changed I think my perspective a bit about what the race status of the race was. But there's some, you know, maybe some holiday box office or some other stuff that's happened in the interval that might have changed our mind. So is there anything that's happened for you in conversations or from what you've seen over the holidays? Mike. It's changed your mind about the race. I think the main thing I confess that. I was sort of hold up hibernating a lot. But I did rewatch the favorite. With some human beings by which I mean, people who are not part of film Twitter, or you know, any of this and it played fine. It played well, but it didn't play amazing. The next night. We watched Mary Queen of Scots. And I thought I'm going to be really confused if they love this. But they did not love Mary. Queen scott's. They liked the favorite better. But really like neither of them landed one hundred percent. And then we watched can you ever forgive me, which I had not seen yet. And I think Richard E grant does kind of pop off the scene. My my realize Asian is that civilians do not know who Richard E grant is and have not seen, you know, civilians in the United States civilians in the UK. I think have seen with Nalen I and he has he's a legendary figure so that was interesting, but but other than that to be perfectly honest, I was sort of hiding from all of the award season controversies, I'm ready to get back in I needed to like, you know, just refresh and refill the tanks here. Yeah. Reset exactly. Well, I think then it's up to you and me my Kokin to beat the drums. For with millet. I for our American listeners never seen it. This is I think the fourth or fifth time, Mike, and I mentioned won't be the last time we talked about I wanted to show it to them. And you can't watch it. It's not streaming in any form available in the United States. And actually weirdly because I was talking about Richard E grant somebody emailed me cold emailed me a fan of little men to complain about the same thing saying where the hell how can how come? I can't stream this movie. So this is something that needs to get resolved. We need to get with Nalen. I onto a streaming platform. That's actually, my main takeaway from the break. Oh, I love that. Yeah. It was on Netflix for years. They used to show people that I think it went off a couple years ago. And so in the meantime, you can watch your grant and like LA LA story or Hudson hawk. Yes. But most importantly, can you ever forgive me, which is great. And I might take away other than a lot of people seeing aquaman.
