Guentzel, Kapanen fuel rally as Penguins slip by Vegas 4-3
"The penguins scored twice in the third period to hand the golden knights just their second regulation loss in 13 road games this season. Four to three. Jake ensel and kasperi kapanen tallied one 52 apart to give the pens a victory in their first game since defenseman Chris la Tang suffered a stroke on Monday. Genzel tied it 7 33 into the final period, kapanen gave Pittsburgh, its first lead of the night. The last game I played before. You know, I got healthy and I missed that wide open that. It was time to just get feeling put in. Brock mcginn and Ricardo Raquel also scored for the penguins. Jack eichel had a goal and an assist for Vegas. I'm Dave ferry.
Amber Athey: Watching Kanye West Exit Out of Tim Pool Interview
"Dan I don't know if you know this I was at the Tim pool studios on Monday night when Kanye came in to do the interview with no give us the school No this is interesting I did not know this See I don't give amber the questions but she doesn't give me her material in advance either The floor is yours Well he flew in from LA on Monday and actually landed at Frederick municipal airport and you probably are familiar with the promenade there Dan And they went to get havasi dinner there Finally showed up to the Tim pool house after their car came to get them And he was in quite the mood He was not happy that the people there wanted to take pictures with him or talk to him So I was supposed to sit in the studio during the interview and he asked me in a couple of other people to leave because he didn't want any onlookers during the interview itself And it only took about 20 minutes for him to storm off the set because Tim pool gave him some mild pushback on the things that he was saying about Jewish people And then after he walked off the show he was in a noticeably better mood and my perception was that he probably didn't even really want to be there And that this whole thing was arranged by Milo yiannopoulos who is currently serving as his campaign manager And so I wonder if he's behind the InfoWars interview as well But this is quickly devolved to a place that is just I mean you use the perfect word for it indefensible
Twitter ends enforcement of COVID misinformation policy
"Public health officials are worried about changes at Twitter that could end up discouraging COVID-19 vaccinations. The change to Twitter's rules was announced in a one line update Monday night, Twitter will no longer enforce its policy against misinformation about COVID-19. This comes after massive layoffs at the company by new owner Elon Musk, who in the past has himself spread misleading COVID claims on the platform, public health officials interviewed by The Associated Press, said it could lead to more false claims about the virus or the safety and efficacy of vaccines. Paul Russo, dean of the cats school of science and health at yeshiva university in New York called the change unacceptable, saying the company's decision to reverse course is an abdication of its duty to its users, some Twitter accounts were immediately testing the new boundaries and celebrating the platform's hands off approach, COVID cases and deaths are up from two weeks earlier, according to the most recent federal daily averages about 28,000 people with COVID were hospitalized per day in about 313 died. BlockFi Sues Sam Bankman-Fried Over Robinhood Shares
"Now when it comes to the crypto contagion story, not much has changed since yesterday. There is still a conspicuous lack of updates from genesis and digital currency group, although some amount of doom posting has subsided. Whether that's because there's new information or simply declining engagement with that doom posting, it's not exactly clear. Still, for those looking for a sliver of hopium, yesterday, massari's Ryan selk wrote, I am 90% confident that genesis does not need to go into chapter 11. That would be a strategic choice, but not a necessity. Beyond that, the most interesting follow-up to yesterday's contagion stories is a bit of bankruptcy to Ted between BlockFi and FTX. If you listen to the show yesterday, you know that BlockFi filed for chapter 11 on Monday. Well, on the same day, they also sued Sam bankman freed. Their complaint is aimed at emergent fidelity technologies, which is one of Sam's wholly owned holding companies. The suit is demanding that emergent, AKA Sam, turn over, quote unquote, unspecified collateral, which would be interesting on its own. However, according to loan documents seen by the Financial Times, the collateral in question is SPF's Robinhood shares. Remember, earlier this year, Sam bought about 7.6% of Robinhood, which sparked massive rumors that he was going to try to acquire the company outright. So here's the core of the suit. BlockFi claims that on November 9th, which was of course when everything was falling apart for FTX, but a couple days before its bankruptcy, emergent signed an agreement to guarantee Alameda's obligations to BlockFi, pledging a certain common stock as a security. When it appears like from the outside and looking back, was that as Sam was frantically trying to save FTX in Alameda from crumbling under their own weight, he tried to get BlockFi to chill out on calling do some of Alameda's deaths by pledging his Robin Hood stock as collateral. Now, importantly, earlier this month, FT also reported that based on signal messages they had seen, SPF had at the same time been trying to sell his Robin Hood shares to various parties directly. Those sale attempts continued right on through signing this pledge all the way until the evening of November 10th. However, whatever deal BlockFi thought it had was shot all to hell when FTX filed for bankruptcy.
What Happened to the Unified GOP in the Midterms?
"When we think back to when we were in power, when Trump was president, sure, there were some never trumpers, but for the most part, we all unified behind Trump. And when I think back to the State of the Union speeches, Trump gave, I can't think of a time when the Republican narrative was more clear. And the Democrats, while clearly opposed, you remember Nancy Pelosi physically ripping up Trump's speech, our whole side was quite unified. But ever since the midterm results of 2022, this unity has slowly disappeared. Some of it started in 2020 and maybe even more in 2021, but after November 8th, 2022, very quickly, conversations began about what went wrong and why, and people immediately started pointing fingers. There was a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on as they say. I know many of you have likely seen the infighting taking place. And it's very disturbing. Some say the midterms were great and maybe it wasn't a red wave, but hey, we control Congress. This group has a very positive outlook on how things went. And the party's recent expansion into the black and Hispanic vote were unheard of years ago. In fact, despite ballot shenanigans by the Democrat party, the GOP won the popular vote in the midterms by 6 points. Others say the midterms were far from a red wave. We were expecting a bloodbath, blowout election, where we'd control the House and the Senate, many thought this would happen because Biden seemed so obviously bad. With his policies so obviously harming Americans with record high inflation and people feeling it at the gas pump. But alas, we missed the mark. We overestimated our wins. We counted our chickens before they hatched maybe. Others say we've could have gotten far more seats, but we didn't because of various reasons, whether it was candidate quality or it was lack of fundraising or mismanagement of funds. As McConnell backed Murkowski instead of shabaka and left Blake masters out to dry. There are many reasons why people feel this election did not turn out the way we had hoped. But nevertheless, the point is, they are disappointed, and we are not unified.
Dan Bongino: The Market Will Correct Itself

A Mediation on Matthew 8:5-11 for Monday of the 1st Week of Advent
"For the next few moments, surrender all the cares and concerns of the stay to the lord. Say slowly, from your heart, Jesus. I trust in you. You. Take over. Become aware that he is with you. Looking upon you with love. Wanting to be heard, deep within your heart. A reading from the holy gospel, according to Matthew, chapter 8 versus 5 through 11. When Jesus went into capernaum, a centurion came up and pleaded with him. Sir, he said, my servant is lying at home paralyzed and in great pain. I will come myself in cure him, said Jesus. A centurion replied. Sir, I am not worthy to have you under my roof. Just give the word in my servant will be cured. For I am under authority myself and have soldiers under me, and I say to one man, go, and he goes to another, come here, and he comes. To my servant, do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard this he was astonished and said to those following him, I tell you solemnly, nowhere in Israel have I found faith like this, and I tell you that many will come from east and west to take their places with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. What word made this passage come alive for you? What did you sense the lord saying to you?
Lord Conrad Black and Sebastian Discuss Former Press Sec. Jen Psaki
"You mentioned, I played you a cut from the current White House, press secretary. She was very, very angry today as Fauci gave his last speech from the podium before he retires. You said, who do you prefer more Jen Psaki or the current incumbent? Well, Jen Psaki was more competent. I mean, this was competent, frankly. But I find her rather an amiable personality where I found Jen Psaki really rather obnoxious. Well, let's talk about Kayleigh McEnany, which is the champion. I thought I thought she was great. Let's talk about the predecessor. Let's talk about Jen Psaki because she's in the news. This is from Fox News dot com. Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that there wasn't a lot Democrats could have done to change the inflation reality. A federal judge ruled Monday that the former White House press secretary must comply with the subpoena and offer a deposition in a lawsuit that claims the Biden administration colluded with big tech to sense a speech. Now, her response and I must read it to you. This is directly from Jen Psaki to the judge, lord black. Sitting for a deposition would be extremely burdensome for me. I understand that I would need to devote several days to preparing for the deposition, as well as attending the deposition itself. And that would be highly disruptive to both my work and my family. My response on social media or black is, well, that's a great excuse that president Trump can use now that there's a special counsel coming off to him. Your response. That's just nonsense. But self indulgence self serving pompous statements. I mean, she knew when she was took that job on that there was going to be a good deal of controversy because her party. And so addicted to stirring up spurious litigation against its opponents, she might reasonably assume that some of it would come back at them. And as press secretary, she might have to testify and give evidence. And the president current president did her the honor of conferring that important position on her. And she had to know that something like that went with the therapy. So what did she talking about? I
The Next Few Days Are Kind of a Big Deal...
"Few days are kind of like a big deal, right? Of course you had Friday, Black Friday. That's a big deal. They call it Black Friday because it's the one opportunity, so many retailers have to actually get into the red, right? They kind of operate at a loss, and then the thinking is, as we get into these holiday months specifically, on Black Friday, they have a chance to catch up. And so they run lots of specials, lots of deals. The question will become did enough people go out and shop, or are they holding back? Interestingly, I suspect a lot of people were holding back. You also have cyber Monday, of course, coming out where they don't actually have to go to the stores, and they can do it right from their computers, perhaps at work, and that's another really important time. For the retail industry. But you can't get away from this reality that prices have gone up substantially. Hey, just look at that turkey dinner, right? The cost of that was up 20%. From this time last year, and people are having to cut back in other ways because the cost of everything is so much higher. We're also going into a very challenging winter, I believe, only because you look at what's going on overseas and you look at the lack of natural gas supply, we're going to have on the market, combined with the lack of energy overall oil, therefore, gas for your car on the market, and it looks like we will still see higher and higher prices. The Federal Reserve is indicating that they think maybe we're out of the Woods and they can move from 75 basis point increase expected in December to just 50 point basis for 50 basis points, increase in interest rates. I think the wrong, I think they printed too much money. And I think that we're going to be paying the price for a really long time.

If you can't safely move over, certainly slow down to a safe speed. And in Virginia tolls in HOV restrictions will be lifted on the 66 express lanes inside the beltway between, of course, four 95 and route 29 in roslin, which are operated during rush hours on weekdays only. Headed across the American legion bridge. You got the work zone along the right hand side of the roadway, just a single left lane gets you by, and you are down to an absolute crawl. Of course, folks coming on the outer loop of the beltway coming full speeds, and they'll snapping on the brakes there as you make your way towards the American legion bridge. Here's the good news though. Once you get a crap way across the American legion bridge, since you already have only that single left lane, it's everyone's already there. You have no delays all the way down towards the Dallas toro, despite only having that single lane. Southbound three 95, I told you that all traffic was temporarily stopped. Looks like it will stop for maybe 5 or ten minutes there. As of now, I don't see any delays left over, traffic is moving once again. You do have a single left lane getting by as you had past edsel road Just take it nice and slow headed past that area. They are working overhead on those bridges. I 95 southbound past route one the work zone isn't along the right hand side of the roadway, single left lane gets you by there, and it is pretty slow through that area. "One week from today, The House is scheduled to bring the sentence bipartisan infrastructure bill bib bib to the floor. The date was set last month compromise between Pelosi and a band of 10 Democratic moderates who want to keep that bill separate from the bigger one. They build back. Better BBB package, Right? Remember that? Well, now some house progressives are threatening to derail that, Okay. The house currently has 220. Democrats and 212. Republicans do the math. Democrats can't lose more than three of their members. However, our next guest will explain why Republicans on the House side should pass this well hold on a second. The political argument for voting no is that Republicans should never help President Biden grab some popcorn and enjoy the circular firing squad. That will become the Democratic Party. So rights bill share contributing editor to political magazine and returning gas Bill. Welcome back to the Big 89, Sir. Frankly with you. Well, this is kind of inside baseball, but it was click bait for me. I enjoyed it, so the bill will only pass if not enough. House Republicans offset the anticipated Democratic You know, dissension, and when they vote? No, that'll be probably more than three. Uh, will that happen? Well, some Republicans actually vote for this, of course. Then once it's voted on the House side, it goes to the president's desk. We don't know. We don't know exactly how many Democrats will vote. No, and we don't know how many Republicans will vote. Yes, so everyone's everyone's trying to flex. And they they have the votes, but no one really knows for sure, And my guess is that they're Republicans who truly don't know what they want to do. They might be inclined to vote for but I don't want to be seen as handmaidens for the Democrats, larger Spending ambitions. They would only do it if there was a sense that this was fully separate from that, and I think as we get closer to the date, if they're being rational, let's say to me, they would be the only way That the smaller hard infrastructure bipartisan package is linked to the partisan, potentially 3.5 $10 package. That only happens if Republicans vote with AOC. That's the only way that it's linked. Republicans joined the progressive dissidents if they were ejected, Docs arguments and they side with the Democratic moderates. They will buy their own power D link them and pass the infrastructure, the heart of the structure built on its own merits. So if they're Republicans all vote to screw Biden and they're going to give him one vote on the House side. Than AOC and the progressive Wing based all it it goes down in flames. It means that the moderates on the Democratic side now can completely washed their hands of the Republicans Mansion seven. I'm talking on the Senate to and they'll say, Okay, the Republicans are obstructionists. They're not going to do anything for us ever. So I guess you're right. I'm in for the full 3.5 trillion I mean, five trillion or whatever it is. Yeah, whatever it is, Uh now we did get, I think, right When my piece published there was a report in politico. That cinema privately told Joe Biden If the hard infrastructure bill doesn't pass next Monday, she's out for the bigger bill altogether. And so if you take her at her word Republicans might say, Well, great. I will. I won't vote for it. And then the whole and everything goes down and Democrats get nothing and everyone Democrats look terrible because they don't get their agenda passed. Uh, that's certainly a way this could all play up the whole thing. Tanks all around. I think that it's hard for cinema to maintain that position. Because it means literally that biting. It's nothing of his agenda. And if buying, it's nothing of his agenda. The Democratic base is demoralized. It's a sure disaster in the 2022 midterms, which drags everybody down. It means that there's no Democratic majority in Congress anymore, so it doesn't serve anyone's interest in the Democratic Party. Did everything go down. I would think that the moderates would say better to work This out with the progressives impacts everything and the party line bill it. Republicans moved the goalposts. And walk away form. A bipartisan built that they some of them had once supported. Bill share is here. He's a contributing editor, Political magazine, a long time contributor and A guy that has watched a lot of politics so Not that there's any shortage of hypocrisy in politics. There's a lot of one eighties. You know, the chiropractic industry in D. C. Has got to be very, very lucrative. Just because the back problems everybody has But didn't these house problem solver? These Republicans that are problem solvers? Don't they already get what? They asked for the standalone vote in the house next Monday that they already committed to how are they? How would they be able to sell us at? Oh, my God! Now I can't do this and forget what I said before. You're not a problem solver. Now you're obstructionist. Well, that's exactly right. I mean, you're in. There's this caucus in the house. It's called The Problem Solvers Caucus is a bipartisan caucus. It has a Democratic co chair, the Republican co chair and there are 29 Republicans in this caucus in the Senate bipartisan bill was announced. The problem caucus The problem Solvers caucus had a statement that said, We support this bill. It tracks with what we proposed previously, and it deserves a standalone vote. Well, now it has a standalone vote. This coming Monday on the 27th if they don't support that, if those 29 don't support that What is the problem? Solvers Caucus for that? Yeah, This is a test. Are you actually going to solve problems? What is the point of being in this caucus and sure that bipartisan can work if you don't take the last step And make it work, So I think we very embarrassing, humiliating for them. If they decide to Flint from this, and I assume they're in the caucus for a reason, they think it is in their interest to be seen as a bipartisan, bipartisan problem solver. They'll be exposed as the opposite. If they don't vote yes on 29 Republicans who have already claimed that they They got the victory they want and they're going to support the infrastructure bill if they vote against it now, and it does go down in flames because of AOC and the progressive wing of the Democratic Party. Are they still able to attend the ribbing, ribbon cutting Of the next road, or I guess there won't be any ribbon cutting in their district. So the next road or bridge because we won't have an infrastructure bill, will we? While again left, Democrats decided to roll it all into one party line bill for themselves, and the moderates agreed to do in progressive and doing that which I think they would have incentive to do. Yeah. No Democrats often tell me because I'm a guy who says by partnership is still worth pursuing. They say Republicans have no incentive to do it because they just take credit for anyway. They don't want the risk of the vote again. Their base mad, but they will show up at the ribbon cutting. They won't put up. Okay? I don't think that really works in the day. I think there'll be enough press around this bill that any opponent that Republican tracks particularly a swing district can say, Look, this guy is this guy voted, though, as trying to snow you and think that he actually supported it, So it's not a very smart play my opinion. Even if they try to do that bill share. I always enjoy reading your columns. Eyes enjoy talking about him on my program. Thanks so much for your time. My pleasure. "The numerous legislative challenges in a condensed timeline will test democratic unity. It's a story by Jordan Carney, Senate reporter at the Hill. Jordan take us through it. Democrats will start coming back into town next Monday. They already sort of had to fund the government by the end of the month. They have these deadlines for their 3.5 trillion package in the separate bipartisan bill Schumer once Sort of the drafting diabetes be done by September 15th. The House wants to vote on bipartisan bill. By September. 27th. You've got sort of the debt ceiling deadline working out there You mean we have Afghanistan and the fallout over that. Now going to be on their plate. You've got the Texas abortion decision that's now going to be on their plate. And then you've got a voting rights fight. That is also going to be on their plate. So I guess they have a lot on their plate. Wow. How much of that? Um How much of that will get done? Because, isn't it the general thinking that in a midterm election year, lawmakers don't want to pass that much. Yeah. So, um, Obviously, the government funding deadline is a pretty hard deadline, so they're going to They're expected to use some sort of short term funding bill to get them. And so like late November, December and then not to revisit that again at the end of the year. The spending packages of 3.5 trillion build. Deadlines are Offed deadlines in a way, right? They're not Here's something that they passed that you know nothing. That certainly happens, but in order to sort of wrap this up And because the tour links you've got the 3.5 Trillion bill with bipartisan bill. Moderate sort of got a an agreement. If you want to call it that have a vote on that in the house by September 27th that progressive. They don't support that, unless thank God the 3.5 trillion bill ready to go. You got that dynamic going around on that on that issue. You have voting rights. The week the Senate comes back. More than likely. That's just going to be a failed boat. Again because you don't have 60 votes. For an election bill, and you don't have the votes to get rid of the filibuster. And then the abortion in the Afghanistan issues are probably going to play out for a while. We're speaking with Jordan Carney, Senate reporter at the Hill. Her pieces called Democrats Stare down Nightmare. September You said two in the story. There are already high profile warning signs regarding tensions. Explain that, Yeah, so extra sitting on a like for The 3.5 trillion spending package. Democrats have very tight margins right. They can only lose a handful in the house. They can't lose anyone in the Senate because they're going to have to pass that without Republicans support, But you've got people like Joe Manchin from West Virginia Christian cinema from Arizona, saying that they don't support this idea of a 3.5 trillion price tag. But we've heard from Bernie Sanders and other progressive that any push to go below. That means you would lose progressive vote so you can't do because you need them to pass. The eventual bill over in the house. You've got moderate saying, you know, we want this vote on the bipartisan bill that sent has already passed by September. 27th. You've got progressive saying We won't vote for it. You mean you just kind of like a Push and pull attention between moderates and progressives within the Democratic Party. And then it's part of that. Part of the complication, I guess is that the Senate still hasn't figured out how to pay for the infrastructure bill. Correct. Yeah, that's there are I guess you could say a number of issues on that package are still being negotiated. One is trying to figure out how to pay for it, And they sort of have like a menu of ideas, but they need all 50 votes. Um, And so it's sort of a rolling conversation. You've got questions about what exactly the climate change. Language will be got sort of a difference of opinion on where should they should put their health care money should the Get on expanding, Medicare said. They use it to shore up the affordable care act. And obviously like a lot of this is being driven by the fact that you don't need 60 votes to pass this bill. So if you have a big priority, this is probably your best shot. Thanks, Jordan. Jordan Carney, Senate reporter at the Hill. This portion of the program is brought to you by Angie. There's.

Okay all right so you got to walk. Thank you for the call I counted in my head while we were just doing that topic. I think i had ten detentions in my career. What was the very worst than you. The worst one was super gluing. A kid to a chair. I was part of the whole shenanigans. I didn't do the super going. I was the one that distracted distracted the teacher so i was one. My first thing was like on one's gonna buy it and you know. What do i know that was the thing what do i know. And then you realize that. Yeah boy athletes better than me. But there's ten million people who aren't yeah and one of the things that mark you know this very well. It's when you're when out back then in the f. s. like it was huge. I don't think people understand the the kind of influence you had in honestly like always like. I think i can do this. It wasn't egotistical thing. Because i was always kind of course not scared but tentative would be the better word and i felt like this could work because i had done this for about two years i've worked with people At the gym. And i made a lot mistakes. Oh shit that. I make mistakes with that and once we kinda got some stuff figured out. It's like. I think this would help people because i remember writing about it. You know different areas and it got so confusing because people didn't have a one source kind of place and you know what it's good to have a couple of bucks laying around. I'm not all about the money but it's nice to be a little bit financially independent and When i was nineteen. When i was in my very first apartment in arizona i wrote down a list of things i want to do with my life. I'll never forget. This was full of anxiety. I didn't have heart palpitations. But i did want to do something with my life. I didn't want to this kind of mail. It in and i didn't know exactly where i was going to go but i wrote down work from home. Do something training related and do something writing related. That's what were my three goals. Because i didn't want to have to go to the office nine to five. And just kinda. I'd just be a cog in a machine. I think that's great for a lot of people i mean. We need those people. And i think they're they're fulfilled. A lot of people are but a lot of people aren't and We talked about taking one step forward. I didn't know how is going to get there. All i know is if i did well in school. I kept training and kept learning and kept writing. Something would pop up at some point. And that's how. I met date when i first met dave tate. A we talked and talked. And he's like what did you study in college and i was like english is can you right am i. Guess he's like you want to write some articles already written thirty articles. This even happened. I knew a mike. Just you know working on my skill. Unlike maybe when something pops up i'll be ready and fair you know it's the old saying. Is you know when the the student ready in a student is ready. The teacher will appear and you have to make the most of your opportunities when you get if i let that slip. Who knows where. I'd be today so anyway. Don't just wanted to help. How much free ship have you done. Yeah it's unbelievable yet. Tons most of my life free stops. Yeah the the job that you have now you do for free right the coaching. Yep so you know it's And you get a lot more than than you than you put in. And that's the honest to god truth so doesn't always seem like that. It gets very frustrating. I can't tell you how many times. I walked home or drove home. God there is no one worst this job that i am the worst mike. You're better off having a fucking gorilla coach so but yeah it's it's been good so if anyone out there has been Help out or do something with even training wise. It's probably better than what they have right. Now you don't have to be the best you just have to be you have to care. Yeah you go to the kids Baseball game football game and the parents complain about the coach. It's like you then do something that you can read right. You know assist unless you have an answer. That don't have an answer shepherds fucking mouth. I go help now. They're not going to deny you of helping. We're going to be like fuck and we got another person helping this awesome. When i first started coaching i talked to the head coach on the phone. And i'm like i have. I've played football for years. I didn't really coach. He's like honestly. Can you show up on time. I'm like yeah. Are you a warm body. Yeah you're fine. That's how desperate we were for people. There's three coaches there. And now we the amount of Resumes and offers extra coaches to come in are overwhelming. Everyone you know so. It's been a great. It's been awesome to build something to because the hardest thing about building. Something is you gotta get people to believe that didn't prior believe now we have all these younger kids come in there There's an expectation of winning. Which is great but before there wasn't that expectation and there wasn't a high standards that we now have so we had to get those kids who didn't really have that prior to believe in it and that's why that senior class my first senior class. I'd give them a ton of credit because they had no reason that trust me none and they all elected to come in. Our last game was on a friday. The all electric coming on the next monday.

It's a sign of just how serious the corona virus pandemic in L a county has become. Paramedics are now being advised to reduce their use of oxygen and to refrain from transporting patients who have virtually no chance of survival. His KCRW's Darryl Saxman reports the ideas for medical workers to focus on patients with a better chance of being saved. This new directive from L. A county's Emergency Medical services agency says that paramedic should not transfer patients who have experienced cardiac arrest. Unless they can be revived at the scene. In normal times, ambulance crews would take those people to the hospital in the slim hope that they could be resuscitated. In another memo, the agency said that ambulance crew should only administer bottled oxygen to patients whose oxygen saturation levels fall below 90%. That reflects both the regional oxygen shortage and equipment problems that have limited oxygen delivery. It's some hospitals. The Army Corps of Engineers has sent crews to address those issues at several older hospitals in L. A county. Meanwhile, officials have devised a plan to shorten hours long wait times for ambulance crews who arrived with patients at hospitals that are filled up there, setting up new tent like receiving spaces outside of emergency rooms to accept patients. Freeing up paramedics to respond. Other calls for KCRW I'm Darryl Saxman. It's not just L. A county.
