Caller: Has Anyone Addressed the Toxic Cloud Over Ohio?
"Concern is, I don't know whether lap or cry over this whole what's going on in this country. But my concern right now is that cloud over Ohio that's drifting this way and is killing fish in the cattle and everything and I live in western New York almost to the Pennsylvania border and it's coming here. Like what has anyone addressed what it is? No, Cindy. What kind of cloud is it? Yes, so we've got some Intel on that and we'll play this audio in just a moment for you. But nothing official from the government. And again, we haven't heard from fema. We haven't heard from Pete Buttigieg. And by the way, this is his responsibility, and you've got people out there, you've got people out there firsthand accounts of pets of livestock of fish that are dying, Cindy, are they giving you because to your point, that chemical cloud is heading towards New York State, and all our weather comes from the. Are they giving you guys any kind of Intel? Nope, no heads up. Nobody said nothing about it. And no, it's not even on the news Todd. No, it's not everybody is focused on whatever the alien invasion is. Look over here. That's it. That's it. We have not gotten any official reports, but there are concerns that the cloud would be heading in your direction and also for the folks that get their drinking water from some of these rivers, you better pay attention because that water that contaminated water will eventually flow into places like the Mississippi River. Exactly, the water thing too, that somebody mentioned that is like, oh my God. But anyway,

Larry Correia on His New Book 'In Defense of the Second Amendment'
"He's worked as a gun store owner, firearms instructor, military contract accountant, and he has a new book in defense of the Second Amendment. Larry, welcome to the podcast. Thanks for joining me. Sometimes I interview people on topics that I feel like I know as much as the author. This is not one of those cases. So I want you to take this occasion to sort of educate me about the importance of the Second Amendment. Let me begin by asking you this, it seems like in a recent case the Supreme Court affirmed Second Amendment rights in New York, at least insofar as it said that the concealed carry restrictions that New York was trying to impose had to be set aside. So my first question is, is the Second Amendment in real danger and where does that danger come from? A few years and that has been a continual mission of the hardcore left is to disarm Americans and to strip our rights away. The Second Amendment is absolutely vital because it's all about the checks and the balances and a lot of people think of the different parts of the government checking each other and their authority. There's more to it than that. The people are the final ultimate check. It gives you tyrannical government. And you can't have all the tyranny that you would like to have and the true control absolute control unless you have a disarmed populace. And so this Supreme Court decision you reference New York State rifle, bissell versus Bruin, was a huge win for the side of civil rights and civil liberties. And that the Supreme Court smacked down some of the worst gun control arguments. It reaffirmed that we do have an individual right to keep in their arms, including those arms that are useful. For such things as defending ourselves against things such as a tyrannical government.

War on drugs locked him up; now he's a cannabis entrepreneur
"The war on part locked him up, now the state is helping him become a marijuana entrepreneur. Roland Conner has been in and out of jail for drugs, but that was the past, his future lies in New York State's new marijuana law and shops. I saw my son going down this path. And so when I saw my son going down his path, that's what, you know, made me want to say, hey, you know what? I see what's going on with him. I know that the laws are changing in New York. Written into the law, the opportunity for those convicted of low level drug offenses, many black and brown, like Connor to operate cannabis shops. They made a way. They made a lane for people can go from legacy to legal, and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people want to follow in those footsteps. And so if I can actually pave that way, that's what I want to do. NY bill would stop MSG from kicking out enemy lawyers
"A New York State bill would stop entertainment venues from kicking out enemies. New York City's Madison Square Garden and other sports venues could be barred from refusing entry to perceived enemies of their owners under a bill introduced in the New York State legislature seeking to amend a current state law. The plan is to add sporting events to the list of public places of entertainment that can not refuse entry to people that arrive with a valid ticket. The original law without that clause was intended to stop Broadway venues from blocking theater critics that they didn't like. The garden and other notable venues announced several people recently using facial recognition technology, the technology has been used to stop a New Jersey mom from accompanying her daughter on a girl scouts filled trip and barred an attorney who owned New York Knicks tickets from attending the game. New York eyes nixed COVID-19 vaccine rule for health workers
"In New York like in other states around the country, the debate continues over mandatory COVID vaccines for healthcare workers. The New York State Department of Health says it's exploring its options after a state Supreme Court judge struck down a mandate requiring healthcare workers to be vaccinated against COVID. The judge ruled that democratic governor Kathy hochul and the health department overstepped their authority by mandating a vaccine that's not included in state public health law. The mandate is null void and of no effect the judge said in siding with medical professionals for informed consent, a group of medical workers impacted by the vaccination mandate that brought the suit the health department says the requirement is a critical public health tool. More than 7,000 nurses on strike in New York City
"More than 7000 nurses at two large New York City hospitals went on strike this morning in a dispute over pay and staffing levels. The walkout involves as many as 3500 nurses at montefiore and The Bronx and around 3600 at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, the New York State nurses association says, after bargaining late into the night, it was being forced to strike because of chronic understaffing that leaves them caring for too many patients. President Nancy Hagan spoke at a virtual news conference yesterday. Sticking point is safe, patient care, save nurse to patient ratio, save staffing. The hospitals have been getting ready for a walkout by transferring patients, diverting ambulances, postponing non emergency procedures, and arranging to bring in temporary staffing. The Crypto Reckoning Continues
"It's only the first week of the year and we clearly already need a Friday. Yesterday, Delphi lawyer Gabriel Shapiro wrote, we're looking at an almost total legal and financial wipeout of the crypto kingpins. Ready to rebuild from scratch, and that I think is pretty much the state of it. Yesterday was just another ravaging day in the reckoning and crypto cleanup following 2020 twos crises. Going in no particular order will start with Celsius. New York State's attorney general letitia James has sued former Celsius CEO Alex mashinsky for defrauding hundreds of thousands of investors by making false statements about the financial health of the company. Raising allegations dating back to 2018, the state intends to seek a court ordered ban on mashinsky doing business in New York State, as well as damages and restitution for harmed investors, according to a statement released on Thursday. The statement alleges that, quote, as the former CEO of Celsius, Alex mashinsky promised to lead investors to financial freedom, but led them down a path of financial ruin. The AG herself, James came even harder in her tweets, I'm suing the former CEO of cryptocurrency platform Celsius network for defrauding investors out of billions of dollars. Alex mashinsky lied to people about the risks of investing in Celsius, hit its deteriorating financial condition and failed to register in New York. Mashinsky tricked hardworking people into investing their life savings into Celsius, promising big financial returns, and claiming the platform was safer than a bank. Instead, Celsius collapsed in New Yorkers were left in financial ruin. I'm suing to get New Yorkers their money back and ban mashinsky from doing business in New York. We will continue to protect people from the risks of investing in cryptocurrency. Now I don't think anyone is particularly sad to see mashinsky on the receiving end of some serious legal trouble. New York OKs human composting law; 6th state in US to do so
"New York becomes the 6th state in the nation to legalize human composting, technically known as natural organic reduction. Democratic governor Kathy hochul signed legislation on the last day of the year to allow human composting, which is considered an environmentally conscious method of burial, the body is placed in a reusable vessel along with plant material, such as wood chips, alfalfa and straw. The organic mix breaks the body down in about a month, the end result a cubic yard of nutrient dense soil or about 36 bags of it. The New York State Catholic conference calls it inappropriate and says human bodies are not household waste. Washington state Colorado Oregon, Vermont and California also allow human composting. "You're in a state. I think about the safety act ending cash bail in Illinois that is so devastating to police departments to law enforcement. Explain to everybody what Illinois safety act is. Yeah, I mean, it's basically what you guys did in New York State, but on steroids, it is the elimination of cash bail for what have been determined to be according to legislation, non detain able offenses, non attainable offenses like kidnapping, like arson, like second degree murder. You have county prosecutors. There's a 102 county prosecutors in Illinois, a hundred. But that didn't matter. And you have Illinois telling the public under this law, we will not be able to detain about half of the population in our respective county jails. So you're turning out violence have a propensity to repeat, particularly if there's no inhibition. And honestly, Mike, I don't know, maybe that's what it takes in places like Illinois or New York or California. Maybe until some of the suburban communities feel the impact of violent crime of the lawlessness that's taken hold at cities. And maybe that's what it will take to get people to make changes in the political leadership of their big cities and their state capital.

Jeff Katz: Predicting Pandemic Payback in New York, California & More
"Zelda has a strong, strong favorable and people love him up there. And he is embraced, especially by the orthodox Jewish communities, which are large not only in New York City, but also New York State, and that is important because you had people like de Blasio, the Democrats literally sending police to shut down their events during the pandemic. I think there's going to be some payback there. I think you're absolutely right. And I think that pandemic payback. I know you've spoken about it this plea now from our Friends on the left. Oh, we didn't mean anything. Please don't take it the wrong way. We need an Amnesty for our actions during the pandemic. No, you. You separated families. You told people they couldn't stand next to a family member at a wedding, you shut down events, you shut down schools, my kids lost two years of schooling as a result of this nonsense. So I think there's going to be that. We're seeing it in California. They're actually some seats that may very well go from blue to red, Nevada is a huge one. Clearly, where you're going to get, I don't do predictions, but my sense is we're going to see a Republican governor and Republican senator. And then even up into Oregon and Washington state, I mean, I just think that there is so much out there right now, Todd, that's not based on so called party labels, but based on the fact that real people like you, real people like me get up, we go to the gas station and go, man, this is $2 more than it was 19 months ago. We go to the grocery store, prices are through the roof and you've got empty shelves. And we've got parents who just say, look, I just want my kids to go to school and get an education. I don't want to worry if my daughter's going to be assaulted in the bathroom. And it's pretty basic issues, I think, that are going to determine this. Jeff

"I do not know what it means anymore to be a Democrat, but I know what it means to be a democratic socialist. And that means fighting for healthcare for all housing for all. Action on climate on ensuring that we are creating a compassionate empathetic system society that reforms our criminal justice system and seeks to abolish ice, right? All of these very clear set of values and these are the things that when we organize democratic socialists across organizations and across groups like this campaign did, we unified the last, right? We had over 17 endorsements from elected so we're both democratic socialists, but also folks were crossed the democratic left. We had the endorsement of the working families party, you know, large advocacy groups like New York communities for change, we had movement organizations like the sunrise movement. We had them over 50 elected union as well endorsements and organization endorsements. So when you build a large Polish and including, again, democratic socialists, what we're really doing is creating a winning coalition that will eventually deliver on the demands for a more dignified life and the clear set of values that I just laid out. And that is why the right is so scared. That is what makes democratic socialism effective and why we won in this district because we built the largest bulletin, but also helps when we do that when we collectively build power helps balance that narrative of red scaring that we're seeing on the right. Whether it's Democrats of different shades in charge, we seem to have a lot of problems with how government is run in New York State and New York City. There's a lot of questions about service delivery. There's a lot of questions around whether programs are just simply run well and actually held accountable, evaluated, getting to where the deepest need is. A whole host of questions. And I'm sure one of the things or if not, I'll just ask you here. One of the things that comes up in questions around democratic socialism and sort of the vision that you just outlined and comparison to programs in Canada or socialist democracies in Europe is people say New York government doesn't even work right now and the stuff that we have it doing and you want to give it more responsibility. How do you, how do you address questions about how you would simultaneously pursue this policy platform, but also sort of become a member of the legislature who really tries to get at, how government performs. There's a lot of questions about the New York State legislature and oversight of how the executive branch of government really Institutes the laws implements the laws, executes the laws, whether programs are actually being run well.

"Have been doing this work for decades and have been leading the housing justice movement. I'm as an elected, someone who is looking to amplify those folks not looking to be the person who says that I have all the answers or the silver bullet. No, it's looking at the people who did the work and amplifying their efforts. That have been demanding. Again, for every unit, deeply and truly affordable and we do not stop until we get that, right? Yeah, a lot more for us to discuss there, but we won't make it a housing only discussion here. So let me ask you about how you talk about socialism, democratic socialism, when you're campaigning for a seat in a state legislature in the state Senate. And especially when you talk to people in longtime communities in Queens and Brooklyn, especially here as you're running in and you talk to people who are, as you mentioned yourself, you know, family members or recent immigrants, people from Asian backgrounds, Latino backgrounds, where sometimes the term socialism is equated with suffering, dictatorship, other negative sentiments, and you have to sort of get beyond the initial pushback on terminology and outline what your vision of socialism and democratic socialism is. How do you have those conversations? How did that go on the campaign trail? If there were examples of it. Yeah. So, you know, I think there has been a lot of a lot of red scaring, right? And right media. And we saw this actually right after our primary victory where Fox News immediately picked up our win and used it as a tool to continue to spread disinformation about socialism versus democratic socialism. They point to countries that are not democratic socialists or their communists or their dictatorships and try to complete that. But we're really talking about our social democracies like many European countries, having socialized healthcare system like in Canada. And also ensuring that we're building a movement of again every day, New Yorkers, bath, Brown, immigrant, that is working towards building a society that works for the most marginalized and vulnerable of us. And that's a message that resonates with everyone. So, you know, on the one hand, yes, we have a lot of red scaring and disinformation, and but on the other, when you get to the heart of what we believe as democratic socialists, it actually is a message that a lot of people believe in and we found a lot of success at the doors because when I say, as someone who worked for many Democrats, I've worked for, you know, I mentioned Obama and senator Schumer, what made me a democratic socialist is because there is a clear set of values and morals.

"But we also had our, like I mentioned democratic socialist stronghold that really have voted for socialists before, are excited about a priorities because we know that when we build power, we're and when we're running a campaign like this, what we're really doing is just activating those same volunteers. The same base and folks who really know what it means to build a multiracial working class movement. What was new for us and what's really exciting is Manhattan. We've never had a democratic socialist elected in Manhattan. And the parts of our district were you mentioned before, but stay town, water slide, the Murray hill gramercy. A lot of areas that were even difficult to knock at times, right? You have buildings that have doormen, high rises. So for us, our field strategy was devoted to a lot of phone banking. We knocked as many as many doors as we could. And what was exciting there was the fact that our messaging around our democratic socialist values, especially around housing and climate, really resonated. For example, in style town and water side, we have some of the largest numbers of rent stabilized units in the entire city. And those communities have been fighting back for years against large corporate developers like Blackstone and Brookfield that have been trying to destabilize those units, but also hike up market rent market unit prices. So you know, when we talked about housing and we talked about housing as a human right and we talked about pushing back on these large corporate landlords, those democratic socialist principles really resonated and we actually won in sky town and waterside. And we actually came within we split the vote and Manhattan for our first time running there. What's exciting and what we've proved is that our values matter to working New Yorkers and they do resonate across the burrows. Say a little bit more, it's very interesting and I was noting that about your campaign doing well and stuyvesant town and

"Were there particular challenges that, I mean, I know this is your first time running for office so you don't have a lot to compare it to. But were there particular challenges to running in this district the way it's drawn? Do you have any sort of reflections on how the actual ground game of this district went in terms of trying to reach all the different pockets of the district, how did that go and what do you attribute your success here to in terms of your field strategy or get out the vote efforts, you know, really being on the ground in this new district that also stretches three boroughs. So you summarize this a little in the beginning. We had an exceptional cycle because of redistricting. We started by launching it in February when the brand new state Senate seat district 17 was created. And that district included Long Island city, greenpoint, and then went down through ridgeway into parts, southeast beans, and Richmond hill, ozone park, woodhaven, Glendale mass Beth. And Long Island city and greenpoint were two of the densest neighborhoods. So when those lines were overturned, the district was redrawn into Senate district 59, which was a new seat that included Long Island city greenpoint, but extended up to a story down to Williamsburg and then in Manhattan. So about two months before primary, we were lucky that we weren't starting from scratch because as someone who lives in Long Island city and also as someone who had been organizing there and having run in district 17, we still had knocked over 8000 doors in the current district at 59, right? But we all of a sudden had to account for losing the doors in the other parts of the Senate district 17. And then now starting to draw knock in the new neighborhoods that were added in 59. Especially in Manhattan because for the first time ever, we had a triborough district. And some of the biggest challenges for us. Was of course, you know, shifting quickly, making sure that we are redesigning our field strategy and sending volunteers to new church. But for as a lifelong strap hanger, it's transportation. I think for personally one of the biggest challenges was actually commuting across three boroughs and splitting my time. So I saw firsthand how hard transit system definitely needs to be more interconnected and improved. But even with all of those challenges, we were really lucky to have the, you know, we had over 900 volunteers on this campaign. We were running a truly grassroots campaign where we were funded by over 3000 individual donors with an average donation of $46. And the volunteers from assembly races. Who ran in Lower Manhattan as a democratic socialist candidate as well. So we had the volunteers. We had the grassroots support. And that led us to knocking over 68,000 doors in 59 by the end of the race. And when you, when you look at this district and you look at the success as I was getting at in the intro of so many democratic socialists in some of these areas of queens and Brooklyn that you've now run in and have been successful in this primary and all but certain to head to the state legislature here in January.

And we also talked a lot about other basic dignities, universal healthcare, deep investment in our education, tuition free cuny and SUNY. And so much more. This came up a little bit during the campaign and since you are back to work, say a little bit about the work that you do in your, you know, what your job is and how you think about being part of the tech ecosystem and running on your platform and the policies that you support. Yeah, so right now I am a product manager for user experience, which essentially means for the company that I work for. We have a large big data platform, and I'm in charge of the look and feel of it. It means colors and buttons and working with designers who design those elements in order to create the best experience possible. But really what that job comes down to is listening to our users and incorporating their feedback, understanding what their experience is, what the pain points are and how we can make our data platform better. And I got into tech after working in D.C. actually. I was there working the Obama White House and I worked in senator Schumer's office. And after returning from D.C., once Trump was inaugurated, decided to do a bit of a career change. And going into tech was the impetus for me to start working with the democratic socialists of America. So actually for two years, I served on the organizing committee of the democratic socialists of New York's tech action working group. And during that time, I focused on data privacy for New Yorkers. So I organized against Lincoln YC kiosks. And I also started working on mutual aid efforts in supporting the first community owned community led resource library and building a website for mutual aid groups that consolidated those resources. And then finally, in 2021, we actually launched a public citywide public Internet initiative, where we demanded having Internet key a public utility. So that we're not at the whim of large monopolies like spectrum and Verizon, where we're paying premiums in New York City compared to the rest of the country, but getting subpar service, which we really felt during the pandemic. And the company you work for is American Express still, correct? Yes, yeah, I work on the tech side of that. And is there other things related to big business tech Internet access that you are going to be looking to work on when you get to Albany other specific bills that you either want to introduce or that you'll support and try to get over the finish line, anything from your personal work experience here that sort of motivates you in those areas or is it some of the other priorities that we've talked about that you're more focused on?

Yeah, so I think that won the state party chair Nick langworthy and especially Joe borelli the minority leader on the New York City council deserve a lot of credit for taking this fight up. Look, it's clear. The New York State constitution explicitly defined the citizen and has age and residents are requirements on who's able to vote and New York State election law specifically defines citizens in state local state and local elections, even at the village or town level. So this was clear that this was a violation of the New York State constitution and the judge in Staten Island Supreme Court said basically said that if they wanted non citizens to have these rights or be able to vote, they should have expressively said selling the constitution and there was nothing that expressly said anything about non citizens being able to vote. And I think this is a big win. There was a little misinformation a lot of people were saying that this was for illegal aliens to be able to vote. That was not the case. It was for people with green cards or temporary status. But we all know how the left operates if they would have got this and would have eventually went to a legal aliens, and then it would have went to statewide. And I think this judge went with the side of the law. I mean, he made it clear. It's a plain reading of the state constitution of election law and even contradicts or has a conflict with municipal code. So it was a win for those who believe in the rule of law. And there was also a bipartisan opposition to this. So it was a very good day for the voters of the city of New York. Yeah, I tend to agree with that. I mean, I think the idea that allowing someone who's not a citizen of the United States to vote in any election is just, it's kind of atypical. Now, this was the argument that they made, though, was saying, hey, look, we're not going to let them vote for United States Senate or for Congress or for president, but this is where they live. They have to be able to vote for the school board. They have to be able to vote for mayor and for everything else that comes in between at the local level here in the city of New York. And again, like so many poison pills, they come wrapped in candy and they try to make it sound good and favorable to people and they hit you with a little bit of, well, you don't want to ostracize these people and we want to help to normalize things and they try to use an emotional appeal, but ultimately I think one has to think, you know, there are people that fought for a very long time because of the color of your skin or because of other factors like they came from another country and they had to pay and wait to become a first resident and then a citizen and to say that we're just going to bypass all of that and give this privilege of voting to me as a smack in the face for anybody who's an immigrant or anybody who's African American. Or even a woman who didn't always have the right to vote. No, I agree with you. That's the one thing, as I said, is this really devalues what legal immigrants who became who are in citizenship have done. It diminishes their accomplishment. And some of these arguments quite frankly, you had multiple bushes here, right? If someone has temporary status, that means they're able to vote on matters in the city that are going to affect the city resident like myself, let's say, for four, 8, ten years down the road, also you have to look at what kind of mess this creates, so they can only vote in a city election, but they can't vote in a state or a federal election. So now you're going to have hybrid ballots, or you're going to have specially marked ballots. I mean, the board of elections already has enough issues as it is. The whole thing was a mess. And even the one argument I also heard made that they said, well, it's like taxation without representation. Well, there's people that live in New Jersey. There's people who live in Connecticut. They come and work in New York during the day. Are they supposed to be able to vote because they're paying taxes in New York? This was just quite honestly one slap in the face to anybody who earns citizenship. Secondly, it was going to create a mess and then thirdly, these arguments look, they threw arguments against the wall. They had no respect for the rule of law and they were doing this because it was a power grab to try and get 8 to 900,000 more votes and they felt like if they were able to do this, they're going to control the mayor's office in the city government for years to come. And the long-term effects it would have on city residents allowing people that are probably not going to be here long term to vote was quite frankly just with any benefit of whatsoever. All right folks, we're on with Michael Henry, he's an attorney and a candidate for attorney general in New York State. Now, Michael Henry, so we talked about this non citizens voting. And to me it was open and shut then and it was open and shut now and thank God for that. I'm glad it didn't become a law and had to be overturned after a hundred and some odd years like the New York gun law did. But I'd like to get your reaction to

"And New York State and Washington state and some of these other places, and I just can't even imagine what life must be like for Families and little kids and parents trying to make good decisions in those situations, So no there. They really understand personal responsibility. They're grateful that I've trusted them. They're so thankful that Respected the authority and my role as governor, and I never called the single business never issued. A shelter in place never mandated anything such as masks. And, um, you know, there were growing like crazy. We've got thousands and thousands of people moving to South Dakota. And they're not moving here for our beaches or are tropical weather. It's not the beaches are moving here and help. They're moving here because they want to be like us. They want to live in a state where the government respects them. And that's the perfect opportunity for us to grow South Dakota and to help everybody here and create the strongest economy we have in this country, which was South Dakota has right now. And do it in a way that is conservative and Bill done. What the American dream is Republican Governor of the Great State of South Dakota. It's Christy Nome. What a stupid argument you had with the federal government over over fireworks. For fourth of July. How stupid was that? Was that just a way to muzzle Christy Nome? She's way too loud way to free way too conservative. How dare she? What do you think That was really all about? That was just certifiably stupid. That was absolutely, um political payback in punitive it was it was because you know, for instance, the fight administration when they denied me the opportunity to host fireworks at Mount Rushmore. They did not follow the Administrative Procedures Act, which says they had to have a reason a valid reason for denying it, And they did not follow through on any credible reason for why we couldn't host those fireworks. There at Mount Rushmore, and I even invited President Biden. If you want to come, we were. It's always an honor for the state of South Dakota to have a president here, but, um, you know, they refused, took them away to punish us and we are suing them in federal court under Violation of those administrative procedures Act and we've got a great case that we think we can push back on. And honestly at that time when we had the Fourth of July this last summer. Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills was the wettest area of the entire state of South Dakota, which is ironic to me because one of the things they tried to claim was that it would potentially cause forest fires and would be unsafe when actually that area right there had the most moisture. In the entire state and was doing very well well, you guys probably could have done it in South Dakota Governor. You should have talked to me first, because all you had to do was invited former President Obama to have his 60th birthday at Mount Rushmore. You could have had dancing and partying and selfies and fireworks and everything else that it's just It's so ludicrous. We just saw a couple of days ago, Nancy Pelosi having some big fundraising dinner or everybody shoulder to shoulder Nobody's wearing masks Who knows who's vaccinating Who's not. And I'm for that I'm forest living, free, liberated and and if we don't wear a mask Where one. I'm just not for the hypocrisy. It's Governor Christie Gnome, South Dakota. Great governor and listen if they don't like you, uh, in Washington at the White House right now that you're doing something, right, let me ask about Afghanistan before we run out of time. Um, I don't know. Can governors do anything? I know the house and the Senate won't do anything because they're both liberal right now. This guy should have been impeached because you pull out the military first. Of course, you know what's going to happen next? My six year old daughter said. Hey, Dad, why are we pulling out the military first? So the idea that that we did something That made any sense is of course untrue. Can governors though. Can you do anything? You've lost people from South Dakota fighting in Afghanistan. You've got military members that are serving right now. What can you do with anything? What can your voice due to to call out the incompetence of this administration when it comes to Afghanistan? We always have an opportunity to to educate people and to educate people on what really is unfolding over there in Afghanistan, which is a tragedy and it was completely avoidable, and the way that the Biden administration is handling that is Risking American lives. Our allies lies and it is creating a foreign policy situation that for decades to come, we're going to feel the consequences of that. People will trust us less. They'll want to work with the United States last And even our soldiers and veterans that have served and committed their lives to this effort. Well question. If it's really worth it. I am shocked by the amount of veterans that call me text me. Stop me on the street and say I don't know if it was even worth it. I don't even know if it was worth it anymore. After this and And it is, um that is never what one of the men and women that serve this country should ever have to doubt. They should always know that their sacrifice is defending our freedom and our liberty and that we appreciate it. And are so grateful for it each and every day, So we need to get all the Americans out of there, and we need to get our allies out of there and the people that have helped us in the war against terror, and that needs to be the number one priority. And then we need to get dig into this investigation of what really happened here and how deliberate it really was. Let me ask you a philosophical question. If you don't mind before I let you go to get its governor Kristi Noem, South Dakota Great Republican governor. We really appreciate your freedom and liberty stance and the fact that your unwavering even with pressure from Republicans, is it kind of a good thing that we that we are seeing an administration like this because we're starting to see the rhinos, a Republican in name only those who claim to be Republican who aren't really very conservative who aren't really the trump people. They said they were or the or the Constitution people. They said they were. Is it kind of a good thing that we're having a wake up call? Our side of things where we now know who the embedded enemies might be. And I don't mean enemies militarily but enemies politically. Is that kind of a good thing. I don't think it's a good thing. I think the devastation we're seeing is is going to have long lasting effects. But this is what people need to wake up and realize start evaluating your leaders right now. Start evaluating them when they're under pressure, and when they're being bullied, not just by the left, but they're also being bullied by the right many times and see how they stand up and continue to defend the everyday man and woman out on the street. If they don't get up every single morning and think about that person who's going to go take on a 12 hour shift, try to keep a roof over his kid's head and get him in his classroom where they can get an education and haven't even better life than they had the chance to do. And that person shouldn't be in office. That person should not be supported in the future. So right now you're getting the chance to see the curtain be peeled back and see their true character, their true grit. Learn from it, Learn from it and choose better next time. I think a lot of people will be primary that didn't expect to be primary. I think what you just said, is exactly right. The Republican governor, the Great State of South Dakota, it's Christy. Don't Christy, Can we do it again? Absolutely I would love to. I appreciate you coming on. Thank you for being a great governor. Hopefully we will talk again Very soon. We're back after this. Stay right here. Thank you, Joe PAGs.
