American Politics Enters New Phase of 'Profound Inanity'

"American politics at least as it's coming from the Biden administration is entering a new phase of what could only be called profound inanity. Let me just quote Kamala Harris. Let's remember, this is the vice president of the United States. This is the woman kind of tasked with Ukraine. I believe she's heading over there sometime very soon. And here's her latest statement quote Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine, so basically that's wrong. Now, what is this the first grade? I think in the first grade I learned that every time I end a sentence, I went to school. School is where I study. Study is good for students. Students are the ones who attend school. And this is what we're dealing with here. This is a kind of freefall of American foreign policy and the thinking that attends American foreign policy. It's not just Kamala Harris, all the way through, you have pundits. You have social media types, and you listen to the kind of symbolic rubbish that they're talking about that has no potential chance. Of affecting Putin in any meaningful way. The New York met, the metropolitan opera has decided that Anna netrebko apparently of one of the greatest singers in meta history. Shall be banned from singing at the Met, well, basically because she's Russian. That's the reason. Oh yeah, take that Putin. Apparently I read somewhere that there was a university that's decided that it's going to cancel its course on dusty. I mean, talk about an intellectual crime, crime and punishment. Remember, foolishness, what does does to get you have to do with this? Is he responsible for the invasion of

MLB Reportedly Exploring Prototypes of Pre-Tacked Baseballs

"A report out in the past couple of days. That major league baseball has begun. Disseminating prototypes of pre-tax baseball's to solicit play your feedback. A represents an early step and potentially developing a new baseball to address concerns from pitchers about grip inconsistency now this was confirmed by new york mets pitcher rich hill that they had reviewed prototypes about a week and a half ago l. A. dodgers pitchers were also shown the balls while they were playing in new york and the san francisco giants are expected to receive them during their series against the mets. This week as well richhill said quote. I think they're getting. They're they're working on it. And i know they're going to come hopefully to a good resolution and quote so although the current process still very much in the preliminary stages pre-tax baseball's so or balls treated with a substance that gives them a slightly or tacky feel for better grip have been sources speculation and investigation for a couple of years.

New York Mets Injuries: Conforto, McNeil out Until Late June

"It's a right now. Challenging time for the mets because of all these injuries yesterday zach scott. Their general manager told reporters. That michael conforto jeff. Mcneil are likely out until late. June because his severity of their hamstring. Polls yesterday when the mets were facing the rockies they'd play james mccann at first base for the first time for mccann professionally. They're just trying to put as many major leaguers in the lineup as they possibly can and in the top of the second inning. They fell behind pitches. Hit pretty well to right field going back to watch it go into the bullpen. Touch of all time for ryan mcmahon eight fifty. Koa took an early lead bottom of the fourth inning francisco. New York Mets vs Miami Marlins game ends in controversy

"New york. Yesterday we saw one of the biggest controversies early in the early season. The mets in the marlins. What a game. This was in the bottom of the ninth inning. Jeff mcneil came to the plate for the mets with new york. Down by run may play mcneil to pull the outfield three. And one the count bass to the belp. Here's the pitch swing a fly ball to right field. Well hit to fall back still going at the track. That's gone mcneil. Doesn't he leads off the bottom of the night with the game tied holder. And this baby's all even to the mets would go on and load the bases two outs michael conforto at the plate. Here's the call. On the marlins radio network now the one to forte three called it got him in the arm. No now they're going to send them to first base. He hit him with the pitch and the ball games over the opening up our initially signaled strike three then he said no it hit them. Don mattingly's out to argue. The mets are celebrating. Walk off three two win. Glenn geffner nine forty. Winz here was the call on wcbs. Mets radio network now the to pitch breaking ball in their strike. Three call victim on the arm. The game is over. It was called a strike initially but then it was ruled that the ball hit conforto. Michael gets to first base and on the mets television network. Those guys did a great job on essen. Y going crazy saying come on. He obviously stuck his elbow out as the ball is passing him and you saw the reaction from the to a radio broadcast bolted. Them saw the strike. three call. By ron copa

"They don't do a lot of teams don't do this. I think Yankees don't do a lot of cases. They don't do the right situational thing yet right? Exactly. So that's been that that might answer that to some extent, but they do have an offensively talented team will over the course of one hundred, sixty, two game season to Berkeley cliche probably would hit enough but patterns can develop and shorter seasons that are you know weird and No runners in scoring position after twenty five games. Thirty Gases is difficult to look at and project so. But yeah. I mean I guess that makes sense that makes sense. Yes. I mean. So I don't know. I, mean, the mets are capable of. Not Pitching this weekend. So in my mind, that's a huge win for the Yankees but also calls not pitching because they're both supposed to pitch today and on the Yankees don't have coal pitching they're kind of. Up in the air well, it's been a long time. Now it seems since the X. Two exhibition games they played but Montgomery in King did a Nice Job In those two games controlling the mats and when I felt like we learned from those Games was the Yankees. Are just way ahead of the mets like the Yankees. Non Star pitchers can. Handle the mets. and. The Yankees hitters can absolutely mall mets pitching and and they're. Not. The depth might be the most impressive asset is there yet of their roster is is legitimately thirty five deep. It is and that that's absolutely right and it's almost become cliche to say like all this guy's GonNa Tiro Astrada was gonna hit a home run tonight. You're not it happens in and they deserve all the credit for that the mets. Built some depth. It had a lot of injuries. I mean they're pitching death has been decimated by injuries they're positional depth. It's it's better than it was a couple years ago I mean they have some positional controversies right now they have a young shortstop Andres. Jimenez really has been impressive pushing conversation about a MED Rosario. WHO's GonNa play shortstop day? That's that's a somewhat of a credit to their the organizational depth that they have and they have dom Smith Impede Alonzo both of whom are Major League first baseman. So there's some of those. Type problems not as many. The Yankees are pretty unique in the fact that a Har- frazier? In Ford, are all like middle the order major league hitters Strand struggling for playing time but right right now yeah I it is crazy. So Jimenez is he I know he was on their prospect boards a couple years ago, but he seems to have a little bit into his own this year willing has he so he struggled and he's always been late defender he struggled offensively in Aa last year. So the the the height, the talk about him really quieted down obviously like if you can't hit double A., he's just glove guy it is what it is. Then he won the bank title near Zone A fall league. And since he's been up, has been a perfectly competent hitter. Like a dazzling shortstop and a guy who shown incredible baseball instincts on post game show todd zeal pointed out this little moment that I would never have caught. In a game, maybe a week ago where there's like a ball in left field in a couple of the it gets away Jimenez is playing short and. He and other players are chasing the ball. I can't remember the exact mechanics of the play but the point is there's a.

"That was a problem. So there was a failure of upper management to recognize the to act swiftly on on that. So that was one thing. I think. That You know bigger picture. I'm trying to think through the years and give specific answers to why. mean a guy gets hurt like this year Syndergaard has Tommy John Surgery strongly outside of the season like that's easy like you don't need to be expert to understand the rotations gonNA, take a hit there but it just seems like from the top down and I know the Wilpon or possibly selling the team and I've just I have mets fans friends and follow you know different people on twitter they hate the Wilpon I understand that but like it's just I've never seen an organ like they have talent right The day should be a better team than they are and they just aren't year after year and it's just From an outsider's perspective like why Well. They. They had never been a complete team. Whether, it was Sandy Alderson era might say never let's take the last decade just the. Klan took over and now Brody van wagon look the the team that made the world series in Twenty fifteen was really flawed. They got really hot. They made a good trade for cesspits that worked out but that was the same team that was like left for dead in early late June early July that same year. So it's not like they were worldbeaters the current team I think has a lot of talent, but it doesn't fit right. It got over hyped a little fast and you have a lot of players who aren't complete players like. I was talking to somebody a former player. Who's big met fan watches all the Games and I was actually asking a similar question recently and he was like, well kind of going around the current team. It's like you don't have a lot of a MED Rosario shortstop WHO's it but his instincts don't seem great. He is. Literally Walked Zero Times this year zero times as the starting shortstop his athletic, but his footwork is in good shortstop. So it's like you gotTa guys like you're good. But then you've got Pete Alonzo who is a terrific hitter? Not just a slugger who uses all feels is best when he's hitting the center field a hard worker but seems to be sort of crushed under the expectations a little bit of. Twice he's struggling a little bit this year I do and I've asked him about it and he doesn't really shy away from he's like, yeah everyone expects me to be great right now. So I think that's that's I. Think I find it interesting with Alonzo, because he got a lot of Aaron judge comparisons after his rookie year I mean rightfully. So he hit he broke the rookie homerun record But just watching from afar a Aaron judge has health issues he struggles to get on the field. But when he's on the field, there's no question in my mind he's a top five player in baseball. Yeah. I don't think that about pita Lonzo that's not to say he sucks he's obviously very good but but the expectations should be different for Peter Lonzo. Yeah. Look judges judges a complete player. He's he's an elite elite defender Great Hitter when he's on the field yet he's he's in the he's almost in that..

"But I'm happy to bring on the podcast Andy Martino of s n y covers the mets and the Yankees. I do appreciate how s why has some Yankees coverage I wished the Yes. Network actually gave some more mets coverage because it's nice to know what's going on across across the city, Andy? Welcome. Thank you and I thank you for appreciating are Yankees coverage a lot of our when we started at a lot of the mets fans that were built into our following obviously were like, what is this guy? tweeting about Aaron judge you trader. It's like look we've got and make over the next two and you know we've got an opportunity. I. Think with so much passion for sports in the town. Give more people. The coverage that they want. So why not and I love covering the Yankees are obviously you have the most iconic franchises arguably in sports. So right here locally, why wouldn't you WANNA cover both teams I'm of the opinion I WanNa know what my closest rivals are doing any keep your enemies close. So I wish the network gave a little bit more coverage to the mets, the Red Sox, the Astros in whoever else Yankees might be facing in the playoffs that year I don't need to watch the nineteenth rerun of centerstage. But Michael, does a good job. Just give him my. Day Just Erin. Often you're. Always on it's. So you've been, you've been covering through the pandemic through the the restart. We were kind of chatting about it before we press record, how has that been for you? I guess on a personal and professional level. You know it when we ask it like that in my honest answer is challenging I found myself. You know try and we talked about this a little before as you said, trying to acknowledge my own personal bias and that I financially need. Games to be happening because the industries I mean my living in the industry and trying to check the door doors best I can and cover this real health crisis responsibly. Honestly, think I consider this to be the most important thing I've covered at time covering baseball and the tone of restraint. I feel real responsibility to not just cover the Games. But to highlight the covid stories report on them, Stanton them where we can I feel responsible to report on if players are reveal unsafe or a house, the testing going those things have quieted down a little because I think it's started to go pretty well but at the beginning of..

"Jim Rotundi and Scott. Let's go. What's up everyone welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe show episode four hundred. Sixty nine. Normally in this Thursday morning time slot it's gotten I talking about Yankees Baseball it's one of our normal episodes but we're shaking things up this week and today's episode is going to be with Andy Martino I talked to him for about forty five minutes on Wednesday. About. The mets, but we also talked about. Him covering baseball during a pandemic because he is somebody that goes to the stadium somebody that is on the zoom meetings. I thought it was just really interesting to hear his take on how things have been different for for his job. For some of these other preview episodes, we've talked to other podcasters like Scott I so they're kind of in the same. Boat as we are Andy though covers the Yankee. Excuse me covers the mets and a little bit of the Yankees for S N Y for a living. So definitely stay tuned for his take on just everything that's going on in the world of baseball. It was really really fun episode I think one of the better guests that we've had on in the however. Many. Years we've been doing this show Scott and I will be doing normal episode. We're going to be recording it Thursday after the afternoon game against the raise right now as I'm sitting here, Garrett cold just worked his way out of the sixth inning. It's a pitcher's duel against glass. Now, the Yankees are losing though they natives can't beat the race hopefully when. I talk to you next time with Scott in a few hours episodes. GonNa come out Thursday sometime in the afternoon or at night hopefully, the Yankees have turn things around and were able to take two out of three from the from the raise for we get to the episode with.

"M. at new York the first two twenty three here on this Wednesday morning we are just in warmed up it's J. J. after dark Jackie Stansky guide you through the overnight right here on the phone at eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six then yes we'll live in a world in which rob Gronkowski Tom Brady going to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in yes I can't believe I'm saying this the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the talk of the National Football League who knew who knew but it off we had the Poconos handy going to get is going he's on a fat without any J. J. what's up my man Andy which I can do we got a first question I want to ask you I know the grand king and everything but I just was curious about your age what what do you think the giants will do in the draft and then I want to ask you a quick maths questions okay let's start with the draft I advocated for the giants taking Isay Simmons now for about two months I love everything about his game I think he's a physical freak I think the giants defense it's been such a liability let's do it over the last two years that two goal game eighty game changing difference making linebacker I think would be just such a boost for the team now that's what I think they should do I think they're going to make an offense of lime and I just think there's too much smoke it is a need for them and I think they end up one of the top tackles that's why I think the jealous girl it'll cover that JJ I think they could trade up to the second round like he did last year with Baker woohoo keyboard very strongly in the second half of the year last year I think they could draft the center for Michigan which will help very much in the interior line group your battle with you nailed it gold take Isaiah Simmons and trade up to the back half of the first round you're not going to go get yourself an elite level tackle Louise at Michigan is a choir I will I want him to Miami to be honest we anti so selfishly your team of my team might be fighting over him maybe at the end of the first round but I'm waiting there I go get the game changing difference making linebacker over the tackle now normally I would not advocate that put the giants defense is that bad and I think Simmons is that special player that would be the god one of my team all right and and and equipment point I was curious what you thought about possibly for the New York Mets to possibly going you know what with the current of ours and everything being everything is said and done with dell going with his you know his surgery and everything what we we what we do in the future with math and Syndergaard posted cynical it's not going to be on a mountain to what twenty twenty one memorial Rackley early stand the cell you know right now when it comes to Noah Syndergaard get healthy get back on the mountain and come talk to me however when it comes to Steven that's I think that's a very important here for him whenever there's going to be baseball member this seems like a lifetime ago I was clean shaven I had a hair cut at the time you know I was feeling good about beings you know used to our normal life member was like Stephen Madsen Rick Porcello and Michael Walker vying for those final spots in the rotation during spring training my goodness that literally feels like a lifetime ago but Steve Matt says talent board Idema profiles is probably number three number four starter I think that's kind of the ceiling is a big league pitcher not wrong with that especially if you go out and take the ball every fifth day let's head to Ronkonkoma Eric is up next the joins us he's on offense Eric this is an early citing for you so you don't I'm doing good and you know what I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the image of a of a ginger along and other only seen it's not concrete wall but I can tell you this I'm starting to get like the mop top going out like the Beatles had in like the mid sixties and I'll go over what the crazy bangs that are like coming down to my eyebrows right now here's the good news when I actually do my hair which never happens now I think I put a call into my hair maybe once or twice in this whole walk down the aisle it works decently presentable polite when I come up in the morning man my hair is all over the place and if I don't like where I had call me I'm gonna look like a creature I mean you have no idea it's going to be out of control we we we we we lose the ball with my son gentleman here cut before everything went down and we were trying to just didn't work out and now but you won't let any of us like near where the person I've already had keen offer to give me a hair cut I said absolutely not and so her brother via facetime about a few days ago and he had cut his own hair listen he didn't do a terrible job but it's pretty noticeable you know what I mean like even with a buzzer it's like yeah you cut your own hair I can tell it's all right but you cut your own hair I'm not doing it right I don't care for that long I'll go in a month I'll go into more detail when my god himself again a lot of give me a call and hopefully I'll be where I need to be all right right right right but it's not the thing about anyway but exactly that is the whole the whole thing we would cry tells he is is interesting on there I mean you know because you know he's he's been out a year and a half right I mean at least at this point anyway because you know they they haven't they they would only pretty much reached on the the the the camp anyway but yeah but he's also someone who tends to get hurt quite a bit at least in the last number years he's played on there so you know there that's obviously got to be concerned because being away for a while on their so I mean it's certainly is death I mean it it definitely gives them I think this is a quick throw that he's used to having provided a you know plug them into their offense that Bruce Arians is gonna find a way to make it work data showing of course Tom Brady still has something left to give I believe that he died for a year or two and you know with Comcast care it's going to be fascinating because what he has a year off now that can work one of two ways his body could be insanely fresh and he's ready to hit the ground running but he's also a guy that lost a lot of weight so now it's the idea yeah when we back on putting the strength and conditioning to where it needs to be so Iraq I mean we saw last year will levy on bell why could was obvious levy on bell looked a little sluggish G. year after his hold out some guys it's going to help some guys it's going to hurt and I guess we're going to ask you gonna have to wait and see what kind of impact that your layoff has on him moving forward right now as far as the that scenario you laid out with you know as far as who does well who does poorly team was between the two yeah well what what would you charge there if it was say they both have a great year patriots and and and then the parking is make the playoffs and everyone looks good in a way where would you try that the comparison then as for me so that I mean let's be honest in the patriots this year goal when eleven or twelve games I mean they might as well and shrine the statue somewhere on a roll eighteen Boston maybe outside of Gillette but then put another one next the Samuel Adams while you're at it all right we'll check it when eleven or twelve games which aired stayed on on I think a lot of people will be looking at this year as a retooling a rebuilding year for the patriots now remember Eric it is going to depend on what they do now on Thursday are they in a position to going get themselves a quarterback is a toolbar Herbert gonna fall and then all of a sudden the patriots pound to make a move are they interested in Jordan love but you could also have the women say you know what we don't want to take a quarterback this year with a bottom out to some degree and will be in much better position come twenty twenty one to be in the top of the draft and get whatever quarterback we want without giving up the resources to draft picks you name it right right it will be interesting to watch realism let's just hope that we have a full season the watch on their real real quick on this potential brewing with the mess here logo's so Michael was waiting until it is if this thing went with Iran in jail goes through and again you know I like it like it was it was do you call it I'm not going to believe anything until they see it but you know I I just want whoever takes them over I want them to be serious hopefully it is serious backing on their instant Colin would have been serious backing button unfortunately the way everything laid out just didn't work out but yeah that that's my main concern on that one I want someone in there was in it it didn't take it seriously on their you know hopefully you don't get in over their head you know with just just trying to you know the idea of buying a team and then all of a sudden my global you know realize they're a little bit on the water now no question Eric it's the idea of going the distance right and if it's outside Rigas and Jennifer Lopez and may get the financial backing you want team running and operating like a big market New York City team that's the way it should be for the Mets bottom line the idea of Steve Colin somehow someway partnering with Iran in general that to me would be the best of both worlds because you get the med fan with crazy money crazy resources and you get a guy with a baseball I came in and the Hollywood accu men of that power couple how could you not be in on that if you're methane consider what you feel right now I think when Y. sac but it is that our new Yorkers ranking is up next joins us on a fan Frank you're you're you're ready buddy Frank I'll get more more nervous I'm getting more more anxious I wake up every day on my checking Twitter to see all right what's the latest with the rumors this week it's kind of calm down a little bit on the Herbert front now you get a guy like Albert Breer saying you know Dan Marino also top up box but then you hear Mortensen saying it's a smokescreen shifter knob line the idea the folksy I am me telling you that it might be Jordan woven not to us so listen Frank we are now with the point where I'm ready for anything bro I'm not going to be surprised if they take to I'm also not going to be surprised if they take covered and I'll give you an older I would not be stoned if we're sitting here on Thursday night and the Miami Dolphins talk like Andrew Thomas with the fifth pick and I try to trade up to go get that quarterback that would not shock me well that's that's my regret you're either going to take to make sure they're gonna take about my prediction all right all right on that so you as a guy who was is nervous as anybody all the rumors now you would tell me a couple days before the draft that you are changing your tune on that so Frank is it warmers that came out the last day or so is it the fact that harbor chase reeks and screams of a terrible terrible pick like I'm very curious to see how you have kind of change on your decision making the leaves are adding garbage smoke was all that it was just small now the Miami heat's coming out it was soft I do think it's going to be like you said the office will tackle five it's if you were not there and then and then get your love for you to that's what it's worth I would post for the dolphins and also it is on record for everybody in New York City to hear if they don't end up with too well I would much rather than take a tackle and take a wall been check and take Justin Herbert because listen taking Justin Herbert with the fifth pick it's just something I'm not in love with no pun intended at least if you get delete tackle and you let a guy like Jordan wolf with all these unique talent forties Royce sits for a little bit and who knows maybe ends up becoming you guys and he's the player he was two years ago at Utah state it's an easier sell for me been taking harbored why watch the big games who just doesn't pass my eye testing is just not a guy wanted Monex quarterback I'm I'm fairly confident outlook one reason I don't think our subject so I figure I don't think they'll trade up for too long I don't think they'll do that but I think to be verify about that's going to be the fact that if it turns out that that's the way it's going to go I will be celebrating I may even have a celebratory cocktail on Instagram live on front Thursday night that's a guarantee only one of course got out of work only one and maybe Friday will be far more like a festive night of point taken some beverages the whiskey might be maybe a little celebratory.

"Yeah yes yes yes yes yes the world New York Mets baseball this afternoon that's all for the two thousand nine against the Washington nationals this is a thrilling moment in all of our lives strikes out the side in the second inning if they don't story can unprecedented advances occur this is this is just crazy based I swear to you as I'm sitting here listening to that and I never thought that these guys would be getting whites the eyes away it's opening day opening day is close but will have opening day when New York City and the country is again open for business but we honor opening day by offering to opening day lineups one for the New York Yankees and one for the new York metropolitans vote here is where we are going to need your assistance your age your help you'll need to tell me the year of these two opening day lineups so let us stronger with the opening day lineup eleven to tell me the year for the New York Yankees leading off at second base Bobby Richardson Richardson at second base batting number two for the New York Yankees Tom Koresh treasure had shored batting number three Roger Maris Roger Maris in right field batting number four the Oklahoma strong boy the commerce conference in center making battle batting number five in behind the plate Elston Howard over there at first base number and batting numbers thanks demos are not related to moe loses the first moves that I ever heard of or ever saw but that's bill Skowron and he's batting number six batting numbers seven in left field for the New York Yankees Hector Lopez batting number eight over there at third Clete Boyer and on the mound Whitey Ford now what you have to do is tell me who well not so but well I could tell you they were planting Orioles like they could have been playing today that's for sure at Camden yards but the Orioles of course had does some people you may have heard of blue owl and Brooks Robinson Jackie Brandt and Johnny temple to name just a few so tell me the year and we're here until eight o'clock not a lot of time and also keep in mind after the basketball game between I will say ten to ten thirty we'll take your calls until two o'clock tomorrow morning but we're talking about opening day give me the year of that opening day lineup for your New York Yankees now opening day for the new York metropolitans and leading off for them it in center field Lenny Dykstra Dykstra in center field batting number two its second Wally Backman maybe you have heard of this man somebody has to call let me know what he's doing now batting number three over there at first base Keith Hernandez batting and number four Gary Carter batting number and bind to play batting I've of course in right field number five Darryl strawberry in left field George foster batting numbers seven at third Howard Johnson had short and batting number eight Rafael Santana and Dwight Gooden on the mound and of course all I need is a little bit of help from those who might be listening we have a short ninety minutes you have to tell me what line up to start what season what year for the New York Yankees and the line up of course that you just heard what year was that the line up for opening day you might have heard about with the rob Manford last night doing an interview and of course say he knows no better than the rest of us just when we might have Major League Baseball he's guessing like we're guessing and your guess is good as he is as good as mine and my guess is good as his and yours so that's where we are with Major League Baseball and I think it's fair to say it accurate to say the virus and it's just increasing not only in New York City there were five hundred cases I just recently heard in Louisiana and most of that is attacking New Orleans they've had five hundred new cases of vote with the virus in a twenty four hour period so obviously we haven't leveled off that curve it hasn't I got aton level in any way shape or form it's doing more accelerating more with the core of going up that it is with the leveling off so at this point in time and again when we're going to have an opening day and the earliest and the very optimistic kind of gas is of course it may it may be June and may be July and Manford they did indicate that he isn't having a discussion with the the players association regarding the time and the place and what kind of baseball double headers are being discussed as we all know at this point in time with that second game seven innings they are also talking about salary and service time issues so all of this is on the table in the good thing is they are anticipating having had a opening day sometime in twenty twenty and even if we have half the season yeah they're thinking of also extending the regular season enter the month of October where we could have been very cold weather with the Mets and the Yankees having their subway series as you can anticipate in November but we should only have baseball to get us into the post season and get to a World Series as you know the Yankees go would have had they played today and the met said they opened up well with Washington at the Citi field I think you know you would have had certainly void over there at first base she would have had love may Hugh over there at second base score isn't short of course G. O. or shallow would have been over there at third Sanchez would have been behind the plate and most likely Miguel Andujar who was getting off to a wet spring training we had he would be the G. H. and of course in the outfield going left to right get out Frazier and Gardner and Stanton and as you heard from Aaron Boone earlier on the fan cleared to play was seven probably would have lemay who leading often Frasier may be batting number two towers three Stanton for Sanchez five voice number six gardeners seven add to our age and up shallow batting number nine had the match played today and you have to remember Conforto would not have been ready and neither would the Cuban defector so you're talking about the number four and five hitters in our lineup that would not have been at Citi field this afternoon probably you would have had never go over there and right fielder would've I'd make Neil I have third batting number two you'll know that Alonso would be batting number three forget with the number two let him drive in both make nail NMO just ran to first base on a walk okay no could not Robinson could know who isn't going to be excited to see that thirty seven year old second baseman batting number four J. D. Davis would probably be batting number five in left field Rameau's behind the plate Rosario which short and in center field with no buzzers underneath their Jersey Jake Marisnick so and I mean that in New York as of with all of this as a good as mine you could talk about Joe grime a we are not seeing him today we will see him this season and of course Yankee fans so anxious to see Gerrit Cole and they will see him this season when your guys as good as rob van forwards your guess as good as mine and our guys as good as he is no from the one eight seven seven three three seven sex sex sex sex as we opened this program and it's a ninety minutes for the Thursday part one and then you get the elite eight NC double a game from two thousand and five it is a classic between of course with the Arizona and Arizona well I'm not going to say anything but you know that Arizona was taken on album only and it's a very very exciting basketball game too here are your radicchio so no again for the one eight seven seven three three seven sex sex sex sex is a we didn't know the number to call on your face the internet has changed so should the.

"Another interesting story line with the masses they move forward in this off season is going to be around Jack Wheeler because Zack Wheeler is now free agent will he accept the qualifying offer I doubt it. I will will get a multi year contract from somebody. will it be the New York Mets. if I'm choosing between and I think the Mets will have to choose between noticing the guard. and that will. I'd rather have Zach will on the state. it's been better over the last two years. and is low maintenance synagogue on the other hand is a problem every other day it's always something within the got. plus it was in the go with two years of team control could get you something in return. I'm looking to trade those in the gun the offices and I'm keeping Zack Wheeler and then you get to a man who's been a corporate for too many times. penyakit it out that of course said when the S. who gives up another home on on Thursday night. I'm not in favor of the Mets straight now when the as in the off season you want a white getting nothing with the year he is sad considering what you gave up to get on. selling ten cents on the dollar. could it would be as be one of these guys that never figures it out New York. definitely. but I want to see that drone of the year. I come to that conclusion next year if it would be as pitching the middle relief a live with that I am not going to just give up on it would be as if the one year selling ten cents on the dollar and in seeing go save fifty games next year somewhere else. Hey windy as next year because of how limited that market maybe should be on the stage. but these are not questions that come to the forefront when you're eliminated from postseason contention you start thinking about next year. mother Mickey D. as in Zack Wheeler. then you have the I. G.'s off the finish up the regular season in Texas Friday Saturday Sunday. they have to win out the Astros have the lose out if you want home field advantage in the American League cell what does that tell you get ready for the Minnesota Twins. a Minnesota team that's right there with any are Jackie's when it comes to hit home runs Nelson Cruz in carver and Polanco in Rosario very good hitting the. twenty bull pen not as good as the Yankees twins rotation not as good as the Yankees I know a lot of people will drop the storyline of the Yankees own the twins wake me up when the twins beat the Yankees that's fine. the reason you gonna favor the Yankees in that series their talent it's better. that's why. I think that should be the bigger story line Yankee roster deeper Yankee roster better compared to Minnesota is not something that happened in two thousand three or two thousand ten. five fifteen here on this Friday morning it's J. And the same time, ripping Bette midler very unique. We're probably not going to have a president ripping Bette midler. Again, that's one of the unique things about the president. But you have to see him in the UK. You have to see him having a meeting in Ireland. Then you see them on the day he stepping up. He's charmed the Queen a him and Macron.

But as long term future will not be with the New York Mets. So you want to try them out in the outfield. You sick and tired of channel Bronx while a gares. You want make deal with third. So. That way you get another lefty battle on up. Okay. I mean people paired you're going to get some lackluster defense really really shaky the friends from Dallas without that. But he's going to be somewhere else. I think sometimes you always back here. I don't think he's destined to be a long-term the bed.
