"Going on blocking and a pretty much describes the whole game it wasn't just the line that was pretty much how it went with everybody gpk handsome nice balls bad down though the nanny or they really do anything he think. He batted four of them down one of can catch him because he's got the bom the hand within He got confused on the end around. It was his job to have containment and he got lost. He got confused didn't know was going on l. Actually you'll went to the inside And then everybody else turned around. Started following the ball and he was just like let's go and again that's not like him at all. That's the reason why that into around work because p. wasn't an outside having contain like you normally does and that was a twenty two yard run The defensive line was beaten their guys but then they were just like falling over each other. The very strange very strange. Like i said we played like we were in a fog and i wanna go through some of these plays and just described it. Let you know what. I'm talking about The first quarter ten fifty four. Kappa was decided that he was gonna help. Kristen wharfs block for some reason and didn't see a blitzer coming straight up the middle in gouges cream tom brady. I think i remember that one yet. Tom brady got the ball off but he got wild and that was just one of those. What are you thinking. You know that happened to quite a bit. And it wasn't anything that they were doing cabinet just like i'm gonna go stand over here instead of blocked this guy a eight twenty five in the second quarter. Cap in words had a miscommunication problem. Pay both they were double teaming a guy in. They both stopped blocking him at the same time and went to help somebody. That's really yeah. They stopped blocking him and they both went to the second level. The normally one of them's going to stay back and block via said they all they both other one had it. Yeah yes the guy. Making a tackle for loss they they both were blocking him and in both stopped blocking him and went to block linebackers and he was just like okay. We'll tackle this runner this coming in on that same play howard got beat by his guy who got in on the tackle for the loss and that put us a third six where brady get strip sack. When the very next play it was. Just just boneheaded stuff Both works and donovan. Smith were beat by their men on the play that a brady got sacked and strip strip sack. Ninety two beat. Smith on the outside and ninety four pushed worse back in brazi brady causing a fumble kappa missy and the fumble that was laying. I mean literally laying right. It is feed him and he likes stepped over the bank to go help. Worth's block i. It's just that kind of stuff the whole game and it wasn't it wasn't in a band playing which is things. Were going very strange Second quarter six twenty seven. I mean damn. We had eight guys covering four receivers guys covered four receivers and Trayvon ended up missing a tackle and a two yard pass turned into twelve yard game because of it his trauma or a trial..

"It looked to ban. But i'll tell you this on that plane. Not only did winston. It was going to happen the voice and eventually and it was probably gonna happen on that play because the way he just he just wanted to give them extra yards. He had three open receivers on that play. Of course he had no many times of that happening with us. I would just get so mad. He'd have open receivers down the field dirt cutter. Was the master and scheming guys over. I mean just a master. In and james windsor run her. Be somebody wide open in james. Whistler run yeah and that's what he did on. This planet was three receivers. he could've thrown to and he decided to run so getting a happy feet. Did they feel a phantom pressure. Someone was there right. Yeah we got pressure on him blitz. he could step out of the pocket. He was outside the pocket. Yeah a pocket. Passer would have stepped up and junk debt. He definitely shouldn't have rung. Just silliness now. There were twelve uncalled penalties. In this game on the saints know who seven of them were on us. Oh no yes. As the first time. That's ever happened where i was like. Oh we got lucky with the reefs and some of them were pretty bad. A lot of he's phase Dm face masking So there was only five on the saints. Five uncalled penalties on the on the saints. Now now you even pointed this out the oj. Howard one where he made the catch and he's running and he goes to stiff arm to guide grabbed by the facemask and actually dragging behind him. Wholeness as i don't know how the rest did not see that the receiver or the defender after the play is jumping up and down and going in yes rightfully so rightfully so normally. If you see those guys calling for a foul like that. There was a foul. It was very rare. They're calling for a foul. There wasn't one That happened in some fifty three in the fourth quarter. Twenty eight thompson boy. Her special teams guy really like him. He held seventeen.

"Your offensive line is a little bit more intact. I believe McCoy. And Armstead returned tonight. So you do get those reinforcements on the offensive line or maybe you just say, hey, we have those reinforcements. Now we can run the ball a little bit more. And that's really what New Orleans has been 49% run in the first half of games. That conservative nature is why the saints are 30th. An explosive play offense. So basically from the saint's direction, you have a slow pace team that's running the ball a lot, not hitting explosives over the top. That is your first recipe for an under. Seattle is middle of the pack in first half pace, but if they played much slower in the last few weeks, and they've played a lot slower with Geno under center last week. And then when Seattle found success in the second half against Pittsburgh, it was pretty much predicated on their ground game. So my feeling is just based upon Pete Carroll. He's going to see that success of running in the second half. That's why we need to start this game. And that's really not the recipe against a saint's defense. It's been very stout against the run. The corner situation I think for New Orleans is much improved, you're getting Lattimore playing back to his old level. You made the trade for Roby to solidify that unit. And if by chance, Seattle is able to drive the ball. You have a saint's defense that has allowed the lowest red zone touchdown rate in the entire league. And then you also have two ridiculous punters in this game that can completely punter talk. This is the first time all season. We've got punter talk. I love where we're going with this. You know, if you get that three and out after Seattle decided to run the ball in first down second down and third down and third and one and you're punting from your own 28. You have Michael Dixon who can boom the ball. And you have a New Orleans punter. And Blake Gilligan, who is one of the best punters in the league already. And to top it all off, it looks like there is some weather in the forecast. So that's going to by nature, I think have two teams that have played very conservatively. Do so even more here. And that's why we went under 21 and a half in this game. And it's why this game is now, again, like 20.2. I don't know where it's going to go from here. I like this game and this will be an interesting kind of glimpse into what we do Todd and why if you're a sports better that's starting out and you kind of get down on yourself about making mistakes like realize that professional betters do as well. Sunday Night football. Oh God. So much is said on this podcast. I really liked the over. In fact, over 44 was going to be one of the investments I made. And then you sit here and you look at the weather come in and it's supposed to be one of the worst weather games that we've had all season. You talk to some of the groups that you exchange information with and some of the other sharp providers. And you're like, I can't go over. And I know where this market's heading. And it had it exactly the direction. We all knew it would head. And certainly it's the first half under that we played Todd, you and I in the forty-niners game last night gets there if debo Samuel doesn't fumble with two and a half minutes to go in there. Just hanging out of the ball and go down short of the sticks, Devo. My God. It's still a winner, but the point is you had all of that weather. And it was a game that you actually liked over based on some of the matches. And it's still goes over with all of that weather. So that was one of the frustrating losses. But the point is, there is weather in this game, but this isn't just a weather play. There's fundamentally things here within the matchup that scream under as well. And that would be the difference between Monday Night Football and Sunday football. The worst part about that game, we were texting, of course, midway through the second quarter, and I had to ask you because I hadn't trusted my eyes after the week and I'd had at the window. Going is this weather getting worse or is it just me? The players you can barely see through it, you're seeing three and out. So I decide in all of my infinite glory. It's a great idea to compound a bet that you know, I thought it was a loser in the first half, ultimately, we're going to have a chance of or fumble. I go under 47 and a half live, and think, man, we're going to have a chance not only to catch the first half, I'm going to have a great number going to the second half. Do have a great number when the second half total opens 20, didn't watch the final 5 to 6 minutes of it, as I was at the golden nait hockey game instead, check my phone late and find out on a third and ten from the 28 yard line, Michael Pittman has another jump ball, conversion, game falls 48 under 47 and a half live loses. So that was my betting weekend in a microcosm. Interesting. I had no idea you bet the live under. I'm like a detective when you and I speak via text sometimes. I start to infer that gather based upon the questions you're asking me, what you're actually doing. And so when you ask me that question, I said to myself, there's no doubt he's better than the live under here. Even though he's not telling me he's back. Much smaller here. Much smaller positions in the way that I buried myself over the course of the weekend. I didn't want to try and bring anybody else down with me. So how to try and check poked around. Saw some shops that I respect at 45 and a half found a rogue 47 and a half out here in the desert. And figured, you know what? We'll dabble a little bit. You know what? It didn't quite work out for me, and either way, like we joke about it. You caught a lifeline too, by the way. I don't know if you knew this or not, but prior to the touchdown there on the third and ten jump all the Pittman Xavier Rhodes intercepted upon and returned it for a touchdown. And then they reviewed it and was like, oh my God, it's heel, just slightly went out. So that was like, I probably didn't deserve it then. A wide range of emotions had you not been watching or at a hockey game rather than watching the game because you had the the interception touchdown with the EU probably saying F me. And then you got the lifeline, and it's third and ten and all you have to do is get off the field. And then the jump ball happens. Sometimes you have to laugh at your own misfortune in this particular business just to try and keep your sanity, but either way, we'll get the first half under tonight. We'll use that as a jumping off point for our listeners as well. And continue to move this train on down the tracks with more college football. And of course, a marquee game Thursday night between the packers and Cardinals. If you haven't already done so, FanDuel dot com backslash bet the board. "This saints. Coaching steptoe. What what's the latest. What is it eight members of the saints organization test positive. So what's the protocol. What are they gotta go through through the next few days or weeks. Yes so It is as of right now. Almost exclusively saints coaches not exclusively. Because there's one player. Michael thomas to starve receiver. But he's not an active player. So i'm doesn't necessarily affect them on the field but it is Six assistant coaches a nutritionist. On michael thomas. I believe so. You know it's it's interesting. Because i think last year. If this happened there would be some. I would say panic or certainly some some real worry About what's going to happen to the saints. What does it mean. How's it going to derail their season but every coach on their staff vaccinated most of the players not all the most of the players are vaccinated. So you know they were at a point where it affects them because those coaches aren't going to be allowed to be in the building but the you know return to return to work is so much faster because they're fully vaccinated that it is possible that it might not even affect anything for sunday So you know we're gonna still monitor it but it's an it's an issue but i would say probably not maybe as much of an issue as it might have been lasting

New Orleans Saints to Use Interim Facility for First Month of Season

"The new orleans saints have picked their starting quarterback jameis winston. Jeff duncan covering the team new orleans times. Picayune sports columnist. Let me start with that season opener given the weather and we still have some time. Here is their contingency plans. If the saints can't host the packers that opening weekend jeff dan. They're working on that right now. I mean the situation is so fluid as you can imagine in new orleans. The power outages catastrophic. The entire city is still out of power. And so there's so many other priorities right now in the city beyond the football game and we stopped the sean payton this morning. Big look like the saints are going to set up shop in the dallas fort worth area. Absurd least the next month or so and he mentioned that they'd even looked into possibly playing their home games over in dallas and. At and t. stadium. I think that's one of the ideas they're not going around with. There's so many moving parts here other trying to make roster cuts today get players out of there and they got families members all in the hotel move hotel so it's a it's a crazy situation very unprecedent.

Michael Thomas Expected to Miss Start of NFL Season With Ankle Injury

"Thomas of the Saints is going to Miss a lot of time, at least the start of the season. Now, this from Ian Rapoport, it is recommended that he gets four months of rest. So if you do the math on that, and I'm not a math guy, really, that would put a Michael Thomas potential return toward the end of November. That is a long time for the New Orleans Saints to be without their star wide receiver again. He had surgery today on his ankle.

"Starting to age and are we. Are we curious as if this team is really built to be sustainable and long-term they do have some interesting names. Exact bonds going to get some more time who. We talked up very highly as a talented player. Mario davis has always been a quality guy. And i just. I think that. I do think that that pete warner edition is going to be a really really good piece. The other moves that they made their first. Three picks are spent on defensive players to which really see much playing time in twenty twenty one not really emphasizing much offensively and. They probably could've used a little bit of help at receiver for whoever's gonna be starting quarterback. I almost think chris. Maybe they're kicking the can down the road and just getting ready for twenty twenty two and just seeing what the current roster can do and twenty twenty one with limited resources and a hamster cap situation just looking at the rest of their division. That's probably not a terrible strategy. Long-term right now. I don't think anybody in the nfc south is going to really be touching the tampa bay buccaneers. We don't know how long the buccaneers are going to be able to stay at the level. They're at right now. But somehow they managed to defy the recent history of the. Nfl defy the attrition. that normally hit any team. That wins the super bowl and they they managed to keep everybody keep their coaching staff intact. Keep their super bowl roster intact and right now. I'm not sure anybody in the nfc. South is really going to be touching them so the saints are probably well served by looking to see what they've got. Now try to get their salary cap back in a manageable position and look towards the future. If they can't develop a long term quarterback out of one of these young guys they have a see if they can't build a core of new defense going forward build a strong core on offense going forward and really just bide their time until they can be in a good position to take a shot at that division crown. Again i'm an agreement grooming with you there on that wanna. It doesn't seem like they were able to do a whole lot. This offseason which is going to make things super super difficult for them to be as competitive as they were previously in the nfc south coming up. We're going to discuss regressions for this roster but before we do so we're going to take a short commercial break get ready for stats on your baseball stats. With first of its kind. "new orleans saints" Discussed on Big Blue View

"New york giants scheduled for twenty twenty one offseason how they improved how they might have regressed and then also pitching what we think is the best and worst case scenario for these specific teams in twenty twenty one. A better way to help you. Folks understand what to expect when the giants face them during the season today. We're going to get into the giants week. Four opponent the new orleans saints and this team looks a lot different after losing drew brees and some other notable players on their roster before we get to that though folks hit the subscribe button is a five star review and had to big blue dot com for more giants news and analysis. So chris we were just taking some time to look through this roster so we could properly assess this team before we started recording and we couldn't even early find any notable improvements from free agency specifically the only notable name that they signed was tanno capacity. Gno who defensive end out of villanova drafted a few years ago played for the chiefs and was a strong rotational player on that defense contributed highly important games. That was really the only notable name to come in as a step forward. We're going to get to some of the guys that they lost. But it's worth noting here. A big reason why. They weren't able to be aggressive in free agency and why they had to cut ties with a lot of recognizable. Names was because of how hamstrung their caps situation is. There's currently thirty three million dollars in dead cap money that is going towards guys. That aren't even on this team anymore. That includes emmanuel sanders. Your janoris jenkins and then about eleven million dollars that is supposed to be going towards Drew brees in the money that would have effectively been on the salary cap. So that salary cap situation really really hurt their ability to make some improvements through free agency. Yeah the the saints really kicked that economic hand as far down the road as they could trying to win one. More super bowl with drew brees. Let him go out on a high note and this year it finally catches up with them and between all of that's dead money of all those big contracts which you know right now aren't doing anything for them but holding them back and then the salary caps shrinking for twenty twenty one you put a perfectly they. They're just completely hamstrung when it comes to free agency and this is a team where if seemed year after year they would never be able to make any kind of a move and they would always find some way to massage maneuver their way through the salary cap. signed somebody you know. Some big name would wind up in new orleans but this year finally all caught up to them now. Maybe they go wild next year when the salary cap goes up again but for this year They really don't have much in the editions. Column as far as veterans. Go no and as you highlighted here. They were in such a strong effort to make a run with drew brees before his age caught up with him and it finally was starting to over the last few seasons in now. Drew brees is retired. Their quarterback situation is not necessarily solidified. We don't know if it's james winston. We don't know if it's tastes him hill. We don't even know if either guy is really a viable option. And if they're going to have success offensively but as you said because they were so hell bent on trying to get things in with drew brees which is the right strategy. Twenty twenty one is going to be a difficult year for them to establish some success because they have a lot of money going towards big name. Guys justifiably ryan ramczyk. Marcus williams michael. Thomas marshon lattimore. Those guys are getting a lot of money because they were brought in as young players. They now have to be paid. But they didn't have any room to pay anybody else to bring in noon free agency. So now is kind of like a a a transitional spot for the saints. We'll talk a little bit later about how we think that they're gonna turn out best case worst cases we always do but this is really a difficult situation as they didn't even really have that many draft picks to fill many of these needs and you saw them draft pete and turner in the first round. Which was one of the bigger head scratchers on day. One pete warner was a really really strong pick who slotted to start at that will backer spot paulsen deebo somebody. We talked up a lot as maybe a diamond in the rough who didn't play. During the twenty twenty season. So you're getting a good quality rotational corner and then possibly in book. I guess works his way into a competition for the backup spot or the third string spot. I mean that's the only the only other notable name. I can really point to chris from this draft class that maybe fills a need if in books. My starting quarterback or has to even take any snaps during the season. I'm pretty concerned. I be right there with you. If the saints. See ian book on the field. Either something has gone incredibly right with his development where he just plays at a level. We never really saw at notre dame or something has gone horribly wrong. With the other quarterbacks on the roster or their season has gone completely off the rails and they've they're running him out there to see what they got. Yeah exactly tha- that's the way i'm looking at it. Here is if in book is on the field. It's because something did not go. Well i some people like to say. Oh he's he's the same size as drew brees. Why can't he drew brees. The book is not drew brees and a player of in books. Physical stature and physical traits is not necessarily built to be successful in the nfl these days. There's a reason. Why teams are vying. For zack wilson types and patrick mahomes types. They're chasing guys. That fit a certain bill and i think in book really scares a lot of team so that was a bit of an odd pick. But i'm looking at the rest of these draft picks. I don't really know how many i can really say we're improvements because pain. Turner is a defensive end. He's going to be sitting behind cam. Jordan and marcus davenport so he might not even really get a ton of playing time in this upcoming coming. Twenty twenty one season paulsen deebo gonna mostly rotate because of their current decent quality corner situation with marshon land more than the other starting corner. Patrick robinson i do though really like that. That pete warner pick up because they need some help at linebacker and he was such an underrated player in this class. Yeah we talked about this during our draft. A pete warner is a guy. I really liked watching what. I really liked watching him play and he said he was an underrated player. Nobody was really talking about him but he was just all over the field play. With great energy. I think really underrated athleticism. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him earn a starting job. Almost right away on the saints defense and you know for a team which for we'll say most of the last decade or so pretty much. All of the sean payton drew brees era was known for just being an incredible offense team but a team that had to have a great offense because they never really had much of a defense over the last couple seasons. They really have built a strong defense down there new orleans. Yeah they do have a really strong defensive unit and you almost start to wonder now here. Are we at a point where they're starting to age and are we. Are we curious as if this team is really built to be sustainable and long-term they do have some interesting names..

"Let's talk about Drew Brees. After Twenty Years in the NFL Drew Brees has officially retired and it took so long. "Of later so it was a rocky and especially given up those big plays a early got super super. Drank pretty early nerve. Well you know. I'm a lab when we held a three points in that first travel. Oh this is going to be a serious game and It was in the third quarter. I was like oh man. We're probably gonna win this and it was seven minutes left in the fourth quarter i turn to you and i said we're going to see champions. You were going to the nfc championship. That was devas- got that interception. We're doing it. Oh my god it was fumble. Yeah yeah he punched posted out. I went through the buccaneers instagram accounts and winfield junior. Put up a video. His dad talking. Shit to the fans in the stands. I don't think they knew who he was. Probably not is awesome though got it makes me wonder how many parents i've yelled at well. We went to practice. Does shawn jackson's mom was out there. And she was very vocal couple of years ago. And then like. I think johnson's dad he goes to all of them. He's on twitter. He's looking at your nets trying to close that. So i can look at so the saints. Such a gratifying. When i think you know even if the waas next week or this week i could probably sustained myself on this. Win against the saints mamie. I've never experienced the crush of a championship. Defeat so that might just be on a whole different level but this victory against the saints was just so selling great for my soul. Amazing we lost to the rams in nineteen ninety nine and it was devastating to this day. I could still feel the pain. And it was because of the refs ref screwed us screwed us crude us at one. Catch the bird. emmanuel rule. man that was so heartbreaking. Everybody that's all that was like that it's catch. I said no because the ball touched the ground he had complete control over it but the ball touched the ground as he was going down the temporary yeah and they they ruled it not to catch because it touched the ground and the they changed the rules like the next year. Berta medo fall. You got control of the ball and goes around. It was just like the rams were super high flying offense. They had scored the most points scored by team that year. And they went and got us are buzzsaw defense and we held onto to nine points. Yeah they one nine three. I think it was not a high scoring game. So that's score mental. Actually no it was. He scores like catch for third downers of robbery. While everyone's saying how garbage the rest were this time. And i'm just going to say we told you. So what time with the packers or now with the saints against the saints. Yeah that's what i'm saying. I mean all the saints families. I thought they great really. Now it's the fans that are like they missed that and gave the saints all. These calls the usual an care the reps this year. The arrests are normally pretty bad. But they share their just particularly egregious. I mean they're calling everything so inconsistently which they always said that were too non calls. Just don't make any sense. It's like if you if you have. Let's say they get ten percent of the calls. They make wrong. Okay would you say we'll give him a low number at me very conservative number If there's only three rules net fine you know you but when there's five thousand rules ten percent wrong of you know all these rule happening every game you just get a lot of screwed up. 'cause that We got called for dude lead with his helmet and in the almost exact same play happened in the game before. And they didn't call it in the announcers were all what and even though. I don't know the broadcast rafter. They always put yankee in there. Also what you think and the endured halfway the wrong half the time and they don't even know their own stuff to get he. They called him and he was like that was definitely eighty minutes ahead with his when he lowered his head. That's the definition of the rule. Not about ready to wrap this up. Yeah i'm starting dinner. Can you spell it. Hey guys that's going to wrap it up for us to the next time..

That's what made a fine hand how you know not a well. Yeah as as a joy. I get out of life at sea and stuff like that her to. I didn't get as much joy out of his misery is i. You know what scared me is watching. Be as after the game press cower. He looks sickly. Met his nose ready. Headliner breathe right strips up here. Lancia's faces all discolor. Maybe it was the crown he has in the next day. He does a press conference. He's coughing and i. I was sitting there. I didn't even hear in coffin. I was doing something. And i looked over and i was like manny looks sickly. Like he looks better than he did. Yesterday is the okay. And then one of the reporters asked him and he was like no. I'm fine kind of snapped at him up. Feel better than i ever have or something. Maybe it's like lack of sleep or something like you going to hang over. Yeah yeah was probably three sheets. The time he did is after game press conference they are wearing. They were cusses probably does shots three but he probably they probably play games. You know they take shots calls a bad call we do during the blue tint takes shot gatorade by catering for whiskey i would you got plenty of money man so this might be bruce of asking probably did they get there. Yeah the looks on his face but then again you know these guys how the bill probably say. He's going to retire and not retired or retiring and comebacker. That's the thing with these guys. And i think like going out like this. This is not the way that he wanted to go out. So i think that's how all true champions wanna go out humiliated. Throwing three interceptions five times in a plants not out of a last time. Thank god and bear does on national. Tv finds that was over. We took all your now i- now and i'll tell you i'm not about to lambeau. But after hearing some of the players and be as comments about playing in the cold it doesn't really seem like mindset. they're all saying mindset through. So maybe that's what they're focusing on that. There's so many heaters and stuff on the sideline like you don't even really feel it might camper somebody. Also love is just not really a thing is not that big deal so we'll see an weren't playing at three so it'll be warmer than if we were playing at six. Yeah it's niagara we wore is going to be called. But i'm not so sure that's gonna work now and his petty ass like he has probably been thinking about this all season. How do we have been thinking about all season to beat the saints and look what happened. They they're doing the same thing. They got revenge on them. Yeah yeah we got two interceptions off aaron rodgers. Nobody does that at all season right some like that very very few. We got 'em it's going to be. I can't even remember what the story that game was had to go back. Look at notes that accent. I'm trying to look at his interceptions. Okay i'll look up some out. "But more pet comes flying in and he hits the pile or couple of guys and it kind of blurs everything but when you if you just isolate the who had the ball for net if you just look at four net and look at the guide pond. Janine you see the guy was trying to get. I mean he might have hit him in the back but he was. He was trying to get up under his arm so he was trying to punch while i don't think he was punching for net in the gut. I'll look and see the same thing as you can see if he does it any other time. It wouldn't surprise surprising. Man these guys were. They did not like each other. I noticed in the press conferences afterwards like everybody had a press conference. Then as a me dem. Why enforce that they were all in front. I can't didn't none of them. Had a good word to say about. I mean they weren't saint soccer. They would they. Weren't you know we will get to the saints for playing a good game or you know. Say anything nice about one of their opponents new couple times. I think that was a big on twitter. They were doing the same thing. Yeah they were lighting them up until winter does a hull areas and The the secondary now they're calling themselves the grape day. It's the graveyard back there. Let's go look skull. Abodes yeah and the crew. Also and so was a very syrian son. Jake areas taking shots at the media for all in trash so they were talking. Yeah we did a podcast right after the game did instant reaction and it was a good hour and fifteen minutes long but as soon as we were done with a went yet we can't post has no way for one. We were both totally chip faced too. I went on long tangent. I mean i was like this is the kirk because i curse lancaster. But i don't on the podcasts. To make family friendly the just just cost. I said this is going to be the not. Family friendly podcast. This is the cursing podcast. I just went off. And i went off on the media. I was calling people. Names calling them out and the after we podcast. Yeah yeah never especially this. This climate man never know who's going to get banned or mad at you income. Burn your house down or something. I don't way people are crazy but the the players took notice as well and they have apparently been keeping a list of all media good good not a single one of them not a single one. Who did anything to help his team get here. What they did do is. They tried to divide with the whole Our bruce arians and tom brady not getting along over that like three weeks ago. Story complained about the tight ends enough complaining about not do a play action enough complaining about not running a ball and out complaint. You know what screw y'all look here we're here you didn't think we're going to be or not a single one of them. Out of single motto predicted. We were gonna here novel dinner. I'm taking this win taking win. This is the reason why i do it. Yes okay. I have our score productions here you said thirty one to thirty two buck nears. That was a one point. france. I said twenty. Three twenty eight were closer. I did not expect his defense. Step up like that. It was just a down just phenomenal. I mean they want us to gain. Yeah the reason why we won and let's give it to the offense of wine to. I mean they played really well and stingy and didn't hear repeat from him on a sack allowed. That was more pat rate. I'd give it to give it to donald smith but yeah they were Yeah so The running back centre really good game winner in four winter he became the first buccaneers player with two playoff games of over. One hundred yards from scrimmage. I think that he was our second leading receiver. I bet he was our top running back. Well he had sixty three yards rajon sixty two so they were like neck and neck. Four data three point seven yard average jones got four point eight. Yeah i only had thirteen carries but net also had forty four yards receiving. Our second leading receiver came. Break our top with fifty yards and So we didn't have a single receiver over fifty yards. No and they didn't either now. They had one eighty five smith. Tarik smith the sound familiar. He's t smith that's all we got. Yeah i mean we completely shut out. Michael thomas who the hell is number eighty while they lost theon tejero's early on which you know. I'm not rooting for injury. But i think that that really helped us because he had killed us. Initially drake watson myth number two. He had sixty one yards on two punt returns. And you know that one was there. All this has jenner was a touchdown called back for black block block block it back with was bs. Call man out have been pissed. I was the saints fan. I was happy to help out. It real thrilled because we owed them to three again. That was amazing. Both those runs that put them within within the twenty and we held them the three both times dog. Great which is how we had talked about that. I know we were late with our preview but we talked about outlets they really killed us. The first couple of matches especially the first match on field position because deonte harris which is so dangerous and they almost got us i think if he had stayed in game it might have been a different game now. But you know his being in your help us for sure i think and contain some hell to we. Dead get burned for a touchdown by came jameis winston. Well that hurt. Yeah you know. I rooted for james wasting. We were big jameson supporters. dale man. You know at least you could donna. Stone interception me do that when he threw it and the guy was wide. Open down the field. "A team was they. Just go the opposite way. We signed. Earl watt offensive linemen. Who was this last year. We signed him and we put alex kappa on. I are no surprise there and then we have four protective practice squad players this week. It is linebacker. Day on the cannon. Greg joseph guard had lars sandwich. I guess he's back on the practice squad in her miller corner of and the last little bit of news which i thought was interesting. He said bruce arians said that tom. Brady's trainer herrero has been a consultant for the bucks this season and has worked with several players in their rehab and recovery process and airing said that his wife curtis had see ahead. Use the tb twelve method for her knee as well or she had been tv twelve. And i think that mike evans of the team you twelve math and helped his knee as well. So it's a total turnaround from win. Thomas at the patriots and of course they kicked alex guerrero out of the facility because he was helping other players in the facility and they didn't want him to and so. It's a huge turnaround. As far as that goes. I just thought it was interesting. We had talked about it in the off season. Yes yeah it was fun it. We talked about it in the bucket. Here's media this. It's almost like they still don't know who this guy is. But he's a. He's a huge huge. Huge part of tom. Brady's life and most people speculate that's the reason why he left. The patriots is because they wouldn't let has been his business partner to Wouldn't let him be involved with the The locker room. Anyone actually kicked him out of the facility and so when he came here to tampa. I'm sure that was part of the things. Like i want to bring my guy in and all this stuff you know. Bruce arians was like we don't care who all right. I've got the injury report in the nighttime ready to wrap it up. How about you you got anymore on the bucks side jeremiah. Ronald jones do not participate wednesday. He returned in limited capacity thursday and friday his questionable as i sat short whitehead sustained a knee injury in practice. It looks like he was fine. Wednesday popped up. All the report on friday enhance questionable. Alton davis has a groin injury. He was limited wednesday and thursday but was a full participant on friday. Mike evans with any injury. He was limited all week. He's got no injury designation. Chris godwin has a hip anna quad injury and he was limited. Wednesday and thursday did not participate. Friday probably arresting because he has no designation an alley marquette popped up on friday on the injury report was a pictorial injury but lows a whole participant on vernon shawn mccoy he the hill but was a full participant on week. Jp with his knee injury. He did not participate all week but no injury doesn't nation dot com sue his Veterans day off on friday. No injury designation there on the saints side. We the stall are hardly anybody they get six people that their quarterback patrick robinson has a hamstring. Injury did not participate all week and is out taint. Some hill has a knee. Injury participate wednesday thursday. He was limited friday. Of course. we're hearing today's probably not gonna play seed running back latavius. Murray had a quad injury Participate wednesday and thursday was limited friday in his questionable tackle. Terron armstead has an elbow injury. He was limited wednesday and thursday but a full participant on friday titan. Jared coke has a back injury. He was limited wednesday and thursday and a full participant on friday and then defensive end choi try. I think training hendrickson has a neck injury. He was limited wednesday and thursday but a full participant on friday. So the only one that looks like well the for sure. They're going to miss. Patrick robinson but probably also he's until all right. So what do you think. give it. give our predictions. Let's get out of here and start watches football day. The saints only put up twenty one. It's the bears. So i'm going a little more optimistic. I'm just gonna say. I think the bucks are gonna win. Let's take the box palmer. I'm a homer completely. i'm gonna go with saints. Twenty three bucks twenty eight. okay. I'm gonna go with the bucks thirty two the saints thirty one. I think that's gonna be it. We got it is. We got it here. We go. we win this. We are in a c. championship balance. We'll be playing the packers at lambeau field. That's a scary thought in itself but a we beat the mess out of packers early in the year where we weren't that good we. We lost via apps. first game without vida Still wasn't anyhow. Yeah so we'll be playing the packers but we can't look that far ahead we gotta beat this game. Beat this team. One of the big things i worry about is the coaching. I do think there. Coaching staff does have an edge on coaching staff. Unfortunately they come up with trigger plays they do more in game adjustments. I guess you would say that could be an age that'll have but and come on. Let's do this. let's do this. We got it. Everybody gets the positive energy out. There box are gonna win win. "new orleans saints" Discussed on WBSM 1420

"Council is saying he will come back for at least another season as a member of the New Orleans Saints I'm not surprised because he's still playing at a high level but in terms of that level riding all the tape that you watch is there any sort of a drop off that you've noticed maybe subtle when it comes to drew Brees his arm strength he can't he struggles for the ball down the field deep down the field and if you notice stand over this past season season have named Ted Ginn junior really wasn't a big part of their offense because there's plenty times even when I was prepared for the the thanksgiving came against the falcons and I was watching tape on drew Brees just don't see the strength in his arm is still very slow R. he's he's he's a he's a month thank when it comes to all this technique and everything that he does he's smart as a whip he does everything the right way but it is just he struggles for the ball down the field I still very accurate what I will tell you something man if if I'm the New Orleans Saints and call me crazy if you want I love to play with him was a was a you know teammate of his for a couple years and I just love and appreciate everything he's done but if it's me and I'm a saints this is a year where I completely open up the just the offense to Taysom hill this would have been my year to tell drew Brees like drool I love you we love you we're going to move in a different direction I just think this is an opportunity for Taysom hill who is now like the prototypical quarterback look at deshaun Watson look at Patrick Mahomes a quarterback they can move they can run they can create plays they can throw a ball down the field that could become dynamic and guess what if you need a linebacker tight end or safety or kick off guy he could be that too even though he's going to be a starting quarterback I just think Taysom hill is a has a special set of skills and I just as much as I love drew Brees if I were the same I would've made a bold decision to sign Taysom hill let him be our starting quarterback and move on from drew Brees what is that okay explain this to me because there seems to be a Lotta love for Taysom hill based on in terms of quarterbacking ability very little that we've seen even in that playoff game the threat we may down the field was behind the receiver what is behind the guy the guy to stop so stocks love for I'm not sure I'm not able we're trying you know we're talking a replacing an all time great would you are you going to have to that's my point eventually you're gonna have to you keep doing the same thing if you got knocked off the playoffs three times you got to try something different drew Brees they get no younger and guess what children break it down it was a Sheldon Rankins all all those big guys start to get injured and things like that I mean there's only so much you can do you need a new shot of energy and drew Brees is going to be drew Brees and the saints a winning you know ten eleven possibly twelve games but what I'm saying is when you get Taysom hill in there you're going to have to make the transition store later how can peace and he'll get better how do we know how we can get better well you got to play them you got to put him on the field so he can get those valuable reps every time he steps on the field then he plays well he makes plays and my question last year in Sunday night football was if you got a couple of a player forget about quarterback player is good as Taysom hill why doesn't he played every single freaking down why are you spot put the man put a man he's a threat every single time I don't care if you line him up wide receiver tight end running back quarterback it changes the course of defense that's why I say he's such a threat he's big he's physical he's smart he can throw the ball they trust them I will transition as much as I love drew Brees this year I would definitely transitioned into Taysom hill because the last three years we wound up empty it's empty yeah here's the thing though they love his athletic ability in you're right he's in he's a weapon out there but if he's lining up under center for every snap of the game as a full time quarterback I don't know how good he's going to be at that he's a great Jack of all trades type of guy Ronnie but that's a lot different this being the starting quarterback game you can play but then you look at the Detroit Lions team is rumored to go pick a guy like to a talk of a lower who's hit this is friendship yeah you know me is is rolled out just just to me you you don't know what he's going to come back and be you don't know if you don't have a permanent lamp you don't know if he's gonna have the same flexibility in his hips yeah we assume he is because you know he'll come back and he'll be successful because he's so young but young he has a has a lot of baggage on him or a lot of weird here all of this all I'm saying is this after this year they're going to move on so what's this what's the what's the big difference between this year and next year for Taysom hill to settle a bit some more no no you're not winning the Super I don't think they're winning the Superbowl this year I don't think they win a Super Bowl this year with Greece yes I will take some hills gonna be opening day twenty six five twenty six thirty see he looks like he's twenty five twenty six well yeah the memory did the Mormon mission so he that took two years but yeah he's going to be thirty years old so for him he's got to make a decision about his own future doesn't mean okay one question real quick yes we got one minute left teddy Bridgewater or Taysom hill who would you prefer if drew Brees retires wow man in the all day nothing about teddy Bridgewater scares me I love teddy he steady steady teddy has what are called but nothing about teddy Bridgewater skills I would love to go against teddy Bridgewater any day of the week Taysom hill I'm like oh shoe what what's going to happen among them is going to be a double move down is going to be a reverse is going to be a quarterback throw back you don't know what's going to happen when you have him but at least teddy Bridgewater we know we can do as a quarterback Taylor we does we really two thousand fifteen but he has a place out of fifteen consist of how do we know bill has.

"Aw I'm not that type of doing score hundred percent I need to face the call this one dangerous welcome everybody to another episode of lighthearted podcast heart ask another you're gonNA have gamers athletes going to have businessmen moments I would say that probably the welcome everyone to another episode hard to podcast so first off congratulations to manny smalls who is then we'll give away winner last week many small any small congrats my man thank you for what is it sorry to put you on last manny smalls shutouts van Mo for allowing us to do this giveaway thank you guys and make sure you guys friend us on Van Mo and we're GonNa pick think thirteen more winter so I'm definitely do that and enter for a chance to one thousand dollars Yup all you do is super easy super easy so again this without further ado we just kind of getting into with mean log on I've seen media day there's a lot of stuff going on on Thursday a training camp today that was fun kind of good at this kind of get back into the swing things you know obviously seasons a very long but it's you know very exciting is going to be very exciting season so yeah look to us about talk to us about media day other fans tune in and they see the press conferences and they see the photo shoots and stuff like that but what is what does it look like behind the scenes what's what's your agenda what time you get there whatever we don't see so I got probably around WanNa say around eighty o'clock probably got it there by eight o'clock we I did a couple of physical stuff you know internal doctors and etc and after that did they like some table work some soft tissue work and then it kind of started the the media circuit news it was a very long process this year I don't know why it was so long as you guys got a Lotta is on you got a lot is it was very very long I think it took like four hours just about so long but it's cool obviously kind of get the the training camp started into season started so you know something that's fun that's kind of fans in the sense 'cause we a lot of the jumbotron stuff and etcetera so you know there's cool this long but I watched your press conference the press conference was it is old it's the same kind of stuff same questions ex- except for the question oughta be trapped in the wilderness where they never got that before so you got some podcast questions from gaming questions it was cool there's there's always a way for other people to see another side of myself so that's always cool I like the like the the what other MBA player would you want to have a podcast too yes Ma Spencer saw that yeah would definitely sense you said he's a more of a creator no not a not a creator guest so we're definitely going to have to get him on on other guests sometime soon as you scared us you know all that got link up but make sure we get that done for you guys I guess he's he's he's very smart obviously no very in touch which is you know different investments in tech world and etc so doubt I hope that I think that'd be very good interview for not just people to see kind of you know his thing in his thinking is very different and is very we know insightful so we'd have to do a lot of research before that I really know what we're talking about because he's GonNa come in and talk about blockchain Oh yeah he's talking to his contract and we got we got we got a brush up on it yeah exactly so I mean we'll get there we will get there Monday pretty good research yeah don't want to speak too highly of ourselves but you know you remember when that when we did when we were reciting all of his stats yeah man you know we do we do our research over here lighthearted podcast talk about about me me really too much going on besides there so you're getting off the hook that easily I think the people want to hear about how training camps going and and all that and you probably got asked that a million times or media day but what's what was the first day of practice like what what what do you what do you do on the first day of and NBA today's the first day and it's it's it's a little different for everybody just because you know you have new guy that I think they were saying only five guys of the twenty that we have on our training camp roster was there last year so it's definitely a new faces obviously myself as one but so you have that but then you also have new coaches and all that kind of stuff so it's it's everyone kind of getting to know everybody and getting not tendencies and he has a new defensive coats so that's different for the guy that were there he does a different scheme than you know what I played you know I played with with the Lakers so you know the things is different you got to kind of adjust and get used to that kind of so but the first day is really just learning the more the principles offensively defensively for us we like getting up and down so we we got up and down a little bit today so that's kind of how you know things going so far and then you mentioned you you have a new coach on on the defensive side of things I felt you throughout your career you've been looked at as a pretty good defender obviously really good on ball defender but a you know a great sort of just he's in the right position is do when you have to learn new defensive schemes you feel like you usually catch on pretty quick yeah I think so I think it kind of all depends on the scheme or like you know the style of it you know there's a little bit different than what I played in in La so just kinda gotta get used to somebody that stuff but it was good I I think I'm a quick learner a fast learner so but you know I don't WanNa do that in myself so but I was saying I think I'm pretty good learning wise I mean it's crazy I mean I have practice today and then you have a game literally in six days six days so it's I mean there's league as a quick turnaround but that's also the beauty of the NBA because you might might lay in a one game get blown up twenty but you gotta you gotTa game the next day so you know as a beautyrest league in this how it is so it'd be it's going to be fun I'm very I'm definitely looking forward yeah knowing that you guys I mean star practice today and then have your first game so soon after like like do people use preseason as really as a way to sort of test test which lineups work and what schemes are working really use it as like a learning process yet I do agnes who surname Dan obviously we have six preseason game so towards the end of it you Kinda Star arrest in you know starters you know you guys obviously you don't want to enter injuring general but you don't want to have an injury definitely not in pre Zidan but the first two games you definitely see the style you guys get used to your personnel and everything like that right because obviously you have the summer you know who kind of who you're getting out of singing free agency and stuff like that but you're not always going to have let's there in the summer they kind of use that time to kind of get their body right you know some guy played later in the playoffs so you might have gotten free agency so they won't take lead time to focus on their body get their body right but you kind of use the three days or three games say has just learning tools and kind of get to know your players in Notre Tennessee's what they like what they don't like and it's the same for you know players and which is you get you get a defensive strategy and you know offensive game plan and etc I love it I love it I was I was I actually had media day yesterday to actually do I nobody asked me any questions but I I was at hey media debt hey man accounts Joe Branch Joe Branch appointed assistant gm of the of the timber chiefs who else I saw a couple of friends Jordan Jay Sima Mayor Robert COVINGTON row coma guy I didn't I didn't talk to me it's my Guy Roco he's cool did you know he has pet snakes yes I do know that I'm not a fan of that but hey tea each his own who else I saw a cat category big travel who else who else you on that team thank who else did I think that might be Akilah Martin who is that just a bit he played in the Big East there did you actually hear me Keelan Martin O. from a cool I thought I thought that was like a the biggest Chiampou oh no I wasn't when you said Mar in others who's he talking about because I saw a picture earlier on late Nevada they played both playing the Hornets so when you said Martin kind of what I thought and I was like way kind of of the Oh yeah but you know were more in passing though Wiggins Jeff teague they actually have a good team no you're going to be good do-doesn't going to be good But I'm definitely I wasn't at your Media Day but I'm interested nice to hear like how how teams do differently but the way the way they did it and to give you some context the reason I was out there I I manage got him kicked Saddam is who is like the top sneaker customize in the NBA He does awesome work from you know everybody's done work with Josh to you know cat is like really as big is big in cat kind of got him help break his name out on the scene Daimler James Heart and he's done a bunch of really cool stuff for them but anyway the timber wolves flew him out to their meetings EH and you know did you guys have stations where you go from like one thing yeah yes so one of the stations was like he set up in their locker room where the guys would come in The shoe that they were going to be playing on this year it'd be sitting on this kind of like glass podium and then they I just did like a a minute or two minutes sort of conversation we should ominous about you know what's important to them and you know what it's like their family or their pets are like stuff they're interested in and they talk about what custom shoes he's GonNa make for them and then he's going to take all the shoes back to La film himself making them and then he's going to send it back to Minnesota the team's GonNa film The guys opening the I'm an talking to come together nicely for a cool content piece that starts with like Media Day and goes all the way through the end of the season so that was that was the station hearing hearing you talk about how like Kinda dragged out and it was like four hours it made sense because the guys were like really excited when they got to station because it was different it wasn't like a traditional just like me the hips Hand side do do some crossover between delay all that kind of stuff so it's like you know what after the I to our that is again a little old yeah saw during like during the Games during the season whenever you see like the stuff on the jumbotron like I know the Lakers it's had like you know see how many whatever's you can name and thirty seconds in the fan does it and then and then the player shows a recording of the player doing it that that all happens during meetings yeah that's all all media unless it's like a special occasion or something special but most of this kind of you got to fly right out to God knows where and issues is too hard to do that during the season so that's kind of what media day therefore and you know kind of just get it all the way down did you get a pre media day haircut gotta shape up because I was watching the house watching the extreme on the Pelicans twitter.

"Now, the hypocritical part of this from people that I'm gonna bust their chops on is that with one forty one to go in regulation, your defense matters. But dammit, if it's an overtime. Well, the defense only matters if they get a stop or get the ball from my other team, I'm trying not to nail everyone on that over the head too often. But it's just really funny. One forty one to go. Dammit defense matters in overtime hugging. My guy I touch the ball. This is terrible. But mind, you the New Orleans Saints gave up a drive that still resulted in a forty eight yard field goal. Let your member when Scott nor wide missed a field goal for the bills in the Super Bowl. What in the nineties against the bills? I do believe that was a forty eight yard field goal than he missed. Greg's our line drills. It it goes to overtime. Then the saints had the ball again. It's the hypocrisy of talking about both games. And having a problem with over time. We can recognize the Rams went out and made a play and drew Brees made a terrible one. Yes. I know he got hit in that ball ended up flying up into the air. But they've got the ball on second and sixteen for crying out loud. And they it's on the New Orleans thirty four yard line. What did you think was going to happen? They weren't gonna bust you in the chops or that they weren't gonna bring some pressure against you. And then what happens on the very first play. Now again, I know the defense in the AFC game didn't matter but the defense for New Orleans. What do they do on the first play the Rams they gave up a twelve yard play? They went from the LA forty six to the New Orleans forty two. And then it was on for most people who recognize that football is eighteen game. And not just all about offense. So the saints coach the quarterback. And I know we don't think defense should be playing in overtime. But the defense in overtime was a part of the problem with the New Orleans Saints as well. Let's go to Zack in Ohio as we go back to the phones at eight five five two one two four CBS Zach you're next on the gresh show on CBS sports.

"All right. Triple eight nine hundred thirty three ninety three. So like. The Rams are gonna sit on this lead looks like they're gonna. Yeah, we're gonna they're to. We're not gonna have time stall the game out is what's happened. The clock the clock just stopped. So yes. I hate this. But the final is eight to four Los Angeles. Yeah. So more on trivia is predicting that the Rams will defeat the New Orleans Saints that I don't like it at all going to be rooting against Moore interview this weekend. Yeah. So I know what rooting against Moore. You Pat, it won't matter could route a good science think the Rams are going to beat New Orleans. They didn't last time. So so. I know it's playoffs. The playoffs. Bro. And you got drew Brees against Jared Goff. I'll take his everyday all dad Goff. You bet. I know I'm picking picking drew I, and I, but I was I kind of thought the kind of kind of the same thing against the colts. And they destroyed the first game was great for both quarterbacks breeze. If I remember right had something like four hundred eighty seven yards passing or maybe that was the total yardage, but they were both way over both way over three hundred yards. I think and bowl teams were close to five hundred yards of total offense. It was a it was a great game. And so the the other game was a New England Kansas City. The season two. So it'd be a couple of really good games on Sunday. Looking forward to it that Patrick Mahomes is just is a talent. He's unbelievable talent. I know guy can run he's letting he can throw every pass pretty much with both hands without looking no look past. Yeah. He's he's really fun to watch is he's he's a special talent. So and then you got Brady, and and you can never count him up every time they do, and they did again this year, I know season law, even with, you know, even with our stupid little football thing that we do here of the season, which by the way. View are the one that owes looked from. Yeah, we're still. But again, we we joked about it. I picked New England to be a plus eleven point five. What were they eleven? I lost that they want eleven over eleven. I mean every year every year. It doesn't matter. Patriots fan was telling me, and I haven't verified this. But yeah, the patriots their only losses this year where two teams that didn't make the playoffs. Really weird. So get up for probably. Yes. I remember that that was one of our more on tributes here. The arrogance in game as always all right? See?.

"They go up fourteen nothing after the first quarter and van think they went back to Philadelphia because this same took over from there at the beginning. It was like, oh, no Nick foles is added again, big drip. Nick foles is about to unseat the New Orleans Saints, but it didn't happen. They kind of came back down to reality a crucial drop late in the game by Sean Jeffrey Silva, fate of the. Eagles and the saints advanced to the NFC title game. I think for the first time since two thousand nine this game was I don't wanna say boring to me it was the closest of all of them. But after the the surge of the eagles early wanted did you could see the tide change the New Orleans Saints, and they kind of controlled the remainder of the game. Joe what are your biggest takeaways in this game? So might take away. Here is drew Brees was good. He was very very solid. But we haven't seen the drew Brees that we've expected in at least the last five weeks. I mean, look at this week you had just over three hundred yards which is good. But when you when you hear the name drew Brees, you're thinking four hundred yards passing forty are a forty points of offense. But by and large the saints have been doing it run the football. They've been doing playing good defense. I look at the last five weeks of drew Brees yet at three hundred yards then three twenty six against Pittsburgh last week of the season then against Carolina. Two hundred and three Tampa Bay two hundred and one Dallas one twenty seven. So if anything I'm saying drew Brees has not been the same guy that we've come to know and love over the last fifteen years of his career. And it'll be interesting to see if this defense can continue to play really well and can lead them into the Super Bowl yet. And that was my my case against drew Brees, the MVP not that he hasn't played great. He has. But he hasn't been tasked with the brunt of the work. Like he's been in the past. The run game is really really good Abba Kamara Mark Ingram. They kind of set the pace that's the foundation for the same offense. And it makes it easier on the quarterback. He's done what he's doing. He's super accurate. Obviously. Again, like you said he is not lighting up from a number standpoint where he just putting the whole team when his back. He's doing what he needs to do. Which is I guess what a good good very very good elite quarterback. A franchise guy. Does mark. What was your takeaway from this game? The best throw in the game came from tastes inhale to Alvin Kamara deep south down the field that was called back by penalty. Nancy? You know it. He's used in such a dangerous way. But he also made the play of the game. When what I thought this game turned on coaching when Sean Payton went for it with the fake punt. When the eagles decided not to take the penalty to make it third and six Morton, they made a fourth one eagle of the saints went for it. And then on that same drive in the touchdown. Make it fourteen seven when they could've gone for the field goal and fourth and one ready to go on. So this is another game that reminded me that coaching in the NFL has ten shifted over the last really two three four years where it reminds me more of how when you're playing Madden. What's your friends and the game? The stakes are obviously lower. You're not paying for your children's schooling in your in your house and car that you've course you go. Oh, four times you don't punt. But now coaches doing this left and right in early shame. How often is Jason Garrett destroyed on Twitter for not going for it? I'm for short from various position. So Payton decided to the ultra aggressive in that game after they were down fourteen nothing in two Marshon Lattimore interceptions, essentially book ended what was the end of the eagles season because they went sleep after that early read and for me, it was all about that's guys have been there when you play next Saint stadium. That crowd noise to me was genuine factor. I thought that they lift helped lifted the saints entirely, but it was on Peyton ultra aggressive nature..
