A highlight from YSA Leaders in the Church

"As many of you know, we recently published three episodes from the new podcast called At the Table. This is produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints, and I had the privilege to help with this project as a consultant. After publishing the recent podcast on Leading Saints, those working at the church on this project were so impressed by the results and the feedback from the audience that they asked if we could share more episodes. So for the next three episodes of the Leading Saints podcast, we will feature the three remaining episodes for the first season of the At the Table podcast. Enjoy! And don't forget to send your feedback by taking the survey for each individual episode, which we will link in the show notes. Welcome to the At the Table podcast, a production of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints. On this podcast, we aim to explore how church leaders can more effectively understand and utilize the voices of young single adults in their words and stakes. You'll hear from experienced church leaders and young single adults about best practices, inspiring stories, and encouraging methods to help us all follow Jesus Christ together. My name is Kami Castrijon. I'm originally from Colombia. I was born and raised there, and I moved to the United States when I was 16. I moved to the big city of New York, and that's where I joined the church. And then soon after, I served my mission in Riverside, California. Then after my mission, I moved to Utah, and I've been here ever since. I love dancing, especially salsa, hiking, baking, and I am thrilled to be part of this amazing podcast, At the Table. I'm Jared Pearson, and I have the pleasure to be a co -host on the At the Table podcast. I'm currently in Provo, Utah, but I was born and raised in Livermore, California, right outside San Francisco, California. I ended up serving my mission in New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Manchester Mission, and some of my favorite things are playing pickleball, tennis, or staying inside playing some board games or reading books as well. And I'm just really excited to be part of this.

While Feds will be made whole again pay -wise after a possible government shutdown, contractors on the other hand don't have those same safeguards. There is no designated back pay employees for of federal contractors after a shutdown. Even though they were affected and driven into that situation by the same dynamics as the government's civilian employees. So David Berto, who heads the Professional Services Council, a trade association for contractors, says contract companies need to hope they're not given a stop work order, which comes if they're unable to perform their services due to the shutdown. Things like not being able to access a site can cause that. Oftentimes those things that can get in the way due from right from the beginning. Then getting invoices paid by the government is another issue. Even if the funds are available, the workers in the government aren't available. So many contractors are forced to either pay their employees out of their own pockets or lose them. Mike Murillo, WTOP news. Another increase is coming for federal employees. Health insurance costs. Federal News Network's Drew Friedman has details. Federal employees and retirees will pay about 7 .7 percent more toward their premiums in the Federal Employees Health Program. That change will start in January. The premium increase isn't as large as what the Fed last year, but among concerns of a potential government shutdown, federal unions say they're worried about the timing of the of announcement. That premium rate announcement also comes ahead of the start of open season on November 13. That's when program enrollees can make changes to their health plan options. The Office of Personnel Management has said open season will continue as normal even in the case of a shutdown. Drew Friedman, Federal News Network. "Right you here on wtop last night late in the evening after the debate itself our dimitri sota spoke with hotline editor for the national journal kirk battle and asked him what stood out them during the debate last night if you really after having a very stand out debate in my opinion the first time around had another solid performance she is kind of you know besides that quote against the fact who's kind of been a proxy punching bag for the populist policies of former president trump i mean she's been really steadily building support and kind of taking up that ground that desantis is seating as kind of a more mainstream alternative to trump you've seen in two recent polls from cnn and nbc news where they did hypothetical general and between matchups the leading gop candidates and president biden and she's the only the one one who's beating him outside the margin of error right now so i think if she keeps stacking up these strong on in solid at least consistent debate performances she continues to campaign well in iowa new new hampshire her home state of south carolina i think she could move into that second place spot right now but but again that 40 point lead that trump has you know even if nikki hayley gets a bump of one two three before points which is kind of typical in a debate like this she's still trailing trump by double digits right now so we have a lot of time left a lot of runway left but haley uh not another solid performance why wasn't there a question asked about donald trump's nineties some charges i mean wouldn't that be legitimate to bring that that up and then ask some of these competitors of trump about it it's complete malpractice frankly the rookie debate moderators with stewart parni dana perrino looked like rookie moderators out there beyond that question about trump's indictments they completely lost control of the debate it was a free for all up there it was difficult to watch from a viewer and i don't know how much during some of the crosstalk that voters really learned here during this kind of rudderless debate at points that was hotline editor for the national journal kirk badow talking with our dimitri sodas "Were you hardwired into this program Mike? Kinda, yeah. This was an actual hit. The theme song of this was an actual hit on the actual radio in 1976. We have a happy day's cast birthday. That would be Potsy. Potsy is 74. I have no idea how old Ralph Mouth is. Well, they're all in their 70s. It's a weird birthday too because Mark Hamill, virulent liberal Luke Skywalker, he is 72. And you know, you just pause, you stop and you think about the career and what happened. The great Christopher Reeve would have been 71 today. That 1995 horse accident, man, I still haven't scrubbed my brain of that and what heroism and activism. So anyway, big showbiz birthdays. A lot going on in the news. You want to do some new stuff or the book, the article? Well, let's do both. Yeah, the book comes out this week, the Fox News book, but let's start, let's not bury the lead. This Washington Post poll has people in hysteria. I mean, they are running through the streets of DC with their hair on fire. This is kind of unusual. I've never seen a media organization like the Washington Post produce the results of a poll and then trash their own poll and bang on it. Right. It's an outlier. This can't be real. This can't be right. I mean, it's devastating news for Biden if it's to be believed. Now let's face it. Polls are quirky. Here's why polls kind of matter. We kind of, they don't. The reason they don't matter is because Lord knows we saw polling about the big red wave in 2022 and that didn't quite work out for us. So let's remember before we get too excited about polls that they are subject to change dramatically. But here's where it does matter. It does give a person like Donald Trump momentum. There is an appearance of momentum. There is the facade of surging and momentum, which kind of feeds upon itself. It just, it just snowballs. So it's real. I mean, it's very, very, it's very, very palpable. And it becomes even more and more unlikely that anybody's going to overcome him. But we never know. A lot can change. We still could, we still could change. How about the debate Wednesday? I heard you mentioned driving in. I thought I saw Burgum. Yes, you did. I rectified that a couple. He did. He managed to get 3 % in Iowa, 4 % in New Hampshire. Speaking of polls I'm skeptical of, there's one, but bless his heart. He seems like a good guy. It seems to be wasted time. I have a very short appetite for wasted time. How about wasted money? How about the money he's spending on the ads? You know what those ads cost? I know. And they're all, I see, I see six Doug Burgum ads every day on Fox news, speaking of Fox news. Every ad I see on Fox news for Doug Burgum, I think how many families of police officers would that help? Or how many poor people would that feed? Or how much, how much of a border wall would that fund? It's his money. I know he can do what he wants. But what a waste of money. It seems to be. Unless, unless he comes in third in Iowa or New Hampshire, kind of punches a ticket out of the month of January. And I mean, stranger things, well, not many stranger things have happened, but then maybe, maybe he ends up with some, how old is he? Is there running mate buzz? You're not going to have a North Dakota running mate buzz. There's not buzz about him over here at the 7 -11 down the street from the airport. Buzz. There's no Doug Burgum buzz. Here's the conspiracy buzz about the Washington Post poll that you just mentioned is that this is on purpose. They want to show Biden as desperate so that in the liberal and the Democrat ivory towers, they can really get the ball moving on replacing him with somebody who might have a prayer of winning. So that's not without some merit. I mean, you know, they got to be sitting around saying, this is our guy. I mean, last week at the UN, at one point it was utter gibberish. And you're looking, I'm thinking my Lord, that's the commander in chief of the United States of America. So the Democrats have to see this. Mark, no way he'll be the nominee. No way he's going to run. Shall I ask you? I mean, okay. I'll ask you again. It's a flow chart.

Mark Hamill Luke Skywalker Iowa 1976 Christopher Reeve Mark Donald Trump Ralph Mouth Wednesday New Hampshire Last Week 74 DC SIX 72 This Week North Dakota 71 Both Third

"The past eight federal expedited death penalty for anyone involved in a mass shooting so that that they will meet their fate in months not years lord a governor ron de santis was asked about a to ukraine our own country is being invaded we don't even have control of our own territory we have got to defend the american people before we even worry about all other these things i watch these guys in washington d c and they don't care former new jersey governor chris he donald criticized trump for no showing the debate you're ducking these things and let me tell you what's going to happen you keep doing that no one up here is going to call you donald trump anymore we're going to call you donald duck trump gave a speech in michigan tonight cbs news special report i'm christopher cruise eleven thirty two on wtop continuing coverage now of this second debate as we bring in crook bato hotline editor for national journal kirk thanks for a few minutes of your time of beyond what we heard there in the special report what were your big takeaways and we should have me tonight my first big takeaway is that no one really had a big breakout moment on the debate stage going into tonight donald trump still led by 40 points in the at the 538 average of the polls and no one really made an affirmative case of why they should beat him it was mostly a jv debate up there right now there are some jockeying in there between tim scott haley they have history of course in south carolina and everything but no one really took the fight to trump besides chris christie who's kind of pivoted his whole campaign against trump everybody else was kind of competing with other people on the stage which amounts to just a race for second place right now looking at the polls a few months out from the iowa carcasses now i wouldn't call it an attack on trump but ron disantis florida governor did say donald trump is missing in action tonight in other words hey man come come on down here on the you know debate stage and and join the rest of us uh... was that at least a little bit bold by the centers or is that the wrong uh... descriptive uh... were there i i i would say it's showing a little bit signs of life right now right now the status is really bleeding support from his hemorrhaging campaign right now he's dropped off from this position what as kind of the chief trump challenger to almost third fourth in some of the recent polls we've seen right now is campaign is very expensive they've tried a few different relaunches and restrategies right now and he's seen his position really slip in the last few weeks and i think that sort of act directly at trump really talks to really speaks to the point of almost aspiration he's at right now to kind of salvage his campaign coming at trump right now and positioning yourself a little bit above the fray from these second and third tier candidates putting yourself in the position of being this front runner or from her ask right now is the really the only thing he has right now to reassure his supporters and the donors he needs to sustain his very expensive operation for the next four months as we gear up toward iowa by most accounts nikki haley had a great first debate she's former south carolina governor of course she is former u n ambassador let's hear a little bit of her tonight honestly every time i hear you i feel a little bit dumber for what you say because i can't believe they hear you've got a tick -tock situation she was occurring with vivac ramaswamy and uh... essentially the debate was you know should tiktok be on all of of our phones or is it just a direct pipeline to the chinese government what did you think about nikki haley's performance you you know i didn't expect jake paul to come up into this front and center here right now i think about as as many times as trump but nikki haley after having a very standout debate in my opinion the first time around had another solid performance tonight she is besides that quote against vivac who's kind of been a proxy punching bag for the populist policies of former president trump i mean she's been really steadily building support and kind of taking up that ground that desantis is seating as kind of a more mainstream alternative to trump you've seen in two recent polls from cnn and nbc news where they did hypothetical general election matchups between uh the leading gop candidates and and president biden and she's the only one who's beating him outside the margin of error right now so i keep stacking up these strong and solid at least consistent debate performances she continues to campaign well in iowa new hampshire her home state of south carolina i think she could move into that that second place spot right now but again that 40 -point lead that trump has you know even if it's a bump of one two three four points which is kind of typical in a debate like this she's still trailing trump by double digits right now so we have a lot of time left a lot of runway left but haley uh... not another solid performance tonight got not even thirty seconds left but i think it's important to finally perhaps reprimand the debate moderators why wasn't there a question asked about donald trump's ninety -some charges mean would i not be legitimate to bring that up and then ask some of these competitors of trump about it it's complete fact is frankly the rookie debate moderators mister bernie dana perino look like a rookie moderators out there beyond that left him to ask a question about trumps indictments they completely lost control of debate the it was a free for all of their whose difficult to watch from a viewer and i don't know how much during some cross of the -talk that voters really learned here or how good voter or how well voters were served during kind of rudderless debate of points kirk thanks a lot good to catch up with you that's right kirk he's beto hotline editor of national journal will continue with our special reports and our updates on the debate republican tonight i'm scott the owner of solid fire pits when i began welding my custom -made fire pits for friends and family i shared them on Topics are in the air. Mike is in the house. How you doing, man? I'm good. I'm excited for you. I'm looking forward to hearing your conversation with Ken Paxton following Tucker's interview with Ken Paxton. I watched it last night. You know, the significance of this is so profound. It strikes me as to all the examples we're seeing of the machine trying to shut people down that they want to stop. Yeah. And if they can't stop them legitimately, if they can't get them beat at the ballot box, if they can't win in legitimate ways, then let's figure out a way to cheat. Let's figure out, let's impeach. Let's, let's have trials. Let's, let's do, let's cancel them any way we can. Let's sue them. Let's, let's prosecute them. Look at what's happening with Trump. I mean, that's the Ken Paxton story in a nutshell. They've tried to stop. And I love the way Tucker framed this, and you have too, so brilliantly. Ken Paxton is arguably the biggest thorn in the, in the side of the Biden administration that he's, that the administration's got. And he has been relentless. And as you pointed out, he's, he's on the right side of every issue, borders, law and order, the Constitution, everything, the second amendment, first amendment, go down the list, everything we pray for and that we want, Ken Paxton's on the right side of. And so they've decided, okay, we can't, he wins in a landslide. We can't stop him there. I know, let's impeach him. Now it's the same thing with Trump. There's such an analogy between the Ken Paxton story and the Donald Trump story. We can't stop his skyrocketing poll numbers. He's, he's apparently going to be the GOP nominee. And now there's a path for a number two that might not be Ron DeSantis. I mean, all along we've said Trump or DeSantis, Trump and DeSantis, apparently the New Hampshire voters don't agree. Who's, who's second? Is Vivek second in there? I don't know. It's like a race for the, it's, they're all close, they're all clustered together for second, but it's, but DeSantis is fifth.

And don't forget to send your feedback by taking the survey for each individual episode, which we will link in the show notes. Welcome to the At the Table podcast, a production of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm Jared Pearson, and I have the pleasure to be a co-host on the At the Table podcast.

A highlight from 1260. Stand With Crypto! | DO THIS NOW Before It's Too Late!

"All right, so we've got a lot happening in the area of regulation, and one of the things we'll be covering today is talking about Coinbase and their whole Stand With Crypto campaign. You guys are going to like this one, and it will also help you guys make your step into supporting the crypto events that are happening and, of course, the regulation itself. My name is Paul Baron. Welcome back to Tech Path. All right, so let's get into it today. I want to go into a couple of topics. This is all going to be about Coinbase and what they're doing to essentially fight for our rights to basically own and operate crypto. But before we get started, I do want to thank our sponsor, and today that is Tangem. If you guys are looking at doing self -custody, this is one of the tools you can do it with. They have a really interesting concept around self -custody. One of course, it's an NFC card. It has an app related to it, and it's very easy to use. So make sure and check out their website. If you go and decide to get one of these wallets, make sure and get the new card. This one comes out in October. There's a lot of new features and benefits. Check their Twitter for a lot of the updates. But you do get that one, and you can get the additional discount by just using our link down below. So make sure and check that out. It does help the channel out. All right, so let's get into a couple of topics today. One of the points I want to hit on is this right here, is that with regulatory scenarios really starting to heat up, the SEC has basically put out another shot across the bow, saying crypto chiefs now warns more charges coming to exchanges. And a couple of things that I think we have to be aware of is just how much the SEC is doing right now in terms of the major exchanges. The major exchanges, obviously we know about Coinbase and Binance. But what others are they trying to go into? Will we start to see actions in everything from KuCoin, etc., to potentially cause some more challenges in the exchange wars against the SEC? And the other aspect that you have to think about on this is the component around the regulation. All of this regulation is brewing now. We are in the heat of a lot of regulation coming up. In fact, right here, if you look at Patrick McHenry's website, I'll show you guys some of the bills that are going in front of a vote right now. The Power of the Mint Act, CBDC Anti -Surveillance State Act, and the Digital Dollar Prevention Act. This is basically all anti -CBDC. All of this, of course, will be going in for votes very quickly. We're going to try to do a video for you guys to cover this and give you the results of this as it starts to resolve here. So lots happening there around legislation. Now with legislation comes you and me going out and really letting our state representatives, our congressmen and women understand our position. I think one of the tools that I have found that is pretty effective is what Coinbase has done. So it's a call to action mobilizing 52 million crypto owners into an army of 1 million advocates for change. And I think if we get that many advocates for change and create enough awareness, I think this is definitely a significant program. Now what they've done is they're going after some key states here. And this will be Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and of course, Wisconsin. These are key states in all of the primaries. And of course, in most cases, contribute a lot toward the potential next president. So this is a big deal of where this is going to be going on stand with crypto. So earlier this year, they took this research project on 87 percent of Americans believe the financial system needs changing. OK, I would agree with that. 51 percent of Americans believe that America's financial system does not work fairly for everyone. And I think that would make sense based on just the demographic cut that we're already starting to see. And then 63 percent of crypto owners agree that the system unfairly favors powerful interest. That I think has been all about the evolution of what's happened here in America, especially on the business interest side. Forty percent of those who own digital assets do not do so to remit money across borders to help family members. So this is another thing that a lot of people are utilizing this to really handle their everyday function of just being able to support families outside the United States. This is a big deal. 72 percent of the 18 to 34 is believe crypto gives people direct control over their money. This is another area that is going to be very interesting for a lot of our lawmakers. And the reason is because when you look at the 18 to 34, this essentially is the next demographic that's going to run the country. It's also the next demographic that is going to do most of the powerful purchasing for companies etc. We talked to a lot of brands and this is a big category in terms of demographic. 52 million Americans own crypto. There's some of the data that they pulled from this research. Five times more than own an EV. That's pretty interesting.

How Diane Cotter Discovered PFAS "Forever Chemicals" in Her Husband's Protective Gear

"One day i came across a story about a new jersey firefighter who had succumbed to a horrific incident where he was out of fire and his gear failed so we know what that means it degraded now what happened to his body was that he suffered steam burns that covered i'll be conservative and say over 70 percent of his body but i think it was closer to 90 percent and that horrified me to think that his gear failed at a fire obviously if he knew it was failing he wouldn't have worn the gear so i ran down to our basement and i pulled paul's gear out of the box it had been stored in and i had turned the basement light off and i took a flashlight and i shined it through the three layers the outer shell the moisture barrier and the thermal liner and i it was specific to look in the crotch area because that's where those reproductive organs are and i'm thinking jesus did his did did toxin seep through his groin area did his gear degrade and i found these coin size quarter dime nickel pieces of fabric missing you wouldn't know what to look at it because if you couldn't see that it was missing because the gear looked fine and then i ran back upstairs and i thought holy crap this is something wrong because i understood enough about absorption in the groin area to understand that that's that area that's so absorptive you know like your neck the tissues are very thin i had educated myself a lot on cancer by that point in time and i started looking then on the computer about the the fabrics themselves and i started to look at nomex and kevlar the moisture barriers and um i came into this 1999 safety alert that the international you know the big labor union had written to manufacturers demanding that they recall a moisture barrier because the moisture barrier had degraded so i'm thinking well what's what's going on why is the iafs sending out a safety alert because in that letter they had threatened to sue the manufacturers if they didn't recall this a moisture barrier that had degraded the companies had given pushback that they they weren't gonna you know do what the iafs said now and this was counter to everything that i had understood and loved about the manufacturers from reading years worth of you know fire engineering and firehouse magazine used to come to our house and in the paperback in the paper versions and i started to look at who those names were on there and i'm like why is this so strange this is a terrible feeling that the union back then had to fight to get those moisture barriers recalled at any event then i began to contact people about cancer and in the degradation of the gear and does that have something to do with this you know the cancer that my husband had i started networking with fire fighters laughing because i have to tell you one of the things i did i became so obsessed that i was messaging 200 firehouses a day and getting kicked off of facebook because there's a limit of people that you can i was a habitual offender as a spammer because i was saying do you know about this degradation in the gear and and i was sending emails to anyone i could think of that could help me track down this degradation i sent thousands of emails thousands i think at the last count there was 25 000 emails that i had sent out and the response i received was astounding because nobody could answer my questions but i did get a response from aaron brockovich who emailed and then called and she said diana i've gotten your emails and i just got a call from the fire chief in new hampshire who has 13 firefighters with cancer and i said that doesn't surprise me because every firehouse is a cancer cluster so we spoke and she said does the gear have pfoa or pfos and i never heard that language before and i went to the computer and i googled turnout gear pfoa pfos and i found a document from the european chemical association and from an industry site in europe discussing the potential transition to non pfoa ppe so i'm here in the united states can't possibly have that stuff because you know we're the united states of america they wouldn't do that to their bravest oh but i was wrong

A highlight from Commemorating The 22nd Anniversary Of The Sept. 11th, 2001 Attacks

"It's funny how people lie about actual real world events, even as we witnessed them on video, like Trump's visit to the Iowa football game. And he just got a resounding welcome. And they were trying to pretend he was being booed. You know, because there might have been a smattering of boos or a few people that gave him the middle finger, they wanted to pretend that he didn't get an absolute hero's welcome at the football stadium. And the video showed he did. Even CNN acknowledged it. Screaming, USA! USA! Trump! Trump! Trump! Man, oh, man. Republicans need to focus on Iowa and New Hampshire to try to stop him. I guess that might be their firewall if you're Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley or one of the others. I don't know how they're going to stop him. We shall see. It's September 11th. We're broadcasting from lower Manhattan. It's been 22 years since the September 11th attacks changed our world forever, changed our way of life, changed the way we view, oh, things like freedom. Freedom is on my mind today a lot. And I want to start with a difficult question about 9 -11. You know, 9 -11 spurred the Patriot Act, where the government felt that steps needed to be taken in order to be able to thwart terrorism. And the Patriot Act essentially took away the freedom that many, many Americans had enjoyed. Now, I understand we've got to try to figure out how to battle terrorism. Totally get it. But what I'm not too clear on is when the door got cracked open, where today the government is criminalizing speech to such an extent that they want to lock up the 45th president of the United States. The New York Times did a huge piece. Trump's indictments, key players in the 2020 election effort, it is quite the quite the article. They call out just about everyone in Trump's orbit and essentially accused them of being co -conspirators in a crime to overturn the 2020 election. It's insane. It's insane to witness the absolute destruction of speech in this country. And I want to ask you a difficult question. I want to start with it. Did it begin with the Patriot Act? Did this begin with 9 -11? Because my hunch is it might have. And if so, then Republicans are culpable as well. I think the more immediate place we're at right now is due to COVID. COVID cracked open the door to say, hey, if you question anything about the vaccine or about masks or about lockdowns, we're going to destroy your life. We're going to get you fired. We're going to deplatform you. We might even put lock you up. If you dare, I know a guy who lost a job, a good job, because he expressed a belief on social media that he shouldn't have to wear a mask because his coworkers were triggered by him. Now, he has since sued the employer, and I hope he wins. That's still winding its way, I think, through the legal process. But that's just one example of many. Everybody has an example. Everybody knows an example of somebody who paid a heavy price for daring to open their mouth. It used to be that America is a place where you were allowed to open your mouth. You were allowed to question authority. You were allowed to question any narrative you wanted, and we weren't going to lock you up for it. Democrats in 2016 questioned the election. All of them did. I've played that montage for you 100 times. Hillary, John Lewis, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Jimmy Carter, they all said Trump didn't win. The New York Times isn't doing a big expose on them. The New York Times isn't calling them out. But now they're calling out, and I mean everybody, Ronna McDaniel, Ted Cruz, Mike Lindell, anybody within—in fact, I saw in the comments section of this shocking article in the New York Times, somebody said, well, shouldn't Fox News be next? What about talk radio? Yeah, that's right. The left wants to lock all of us up for daring to express opinions. When did this terrible, dark chapter begin? Was it COVID, or was it 9 -11 and the creation of the Patriot Act? Let's start there. I want to flood my phone lines here on this Monday in the Relief Factor studios with your phone calls. Right here in the Ph .D. weight loss and nutrition phone number, it's 800 -655 -MIKE. That's the way for you to join us. I want you to tell me where you think it began. Did it begin with 9 -11 and the Patriot Act? Because we're in a bad place right now. I just read that New York Times article three or four times in a sense of shock. Could not think they can get away with weaponizing and criminalizing free speech in America. And that's a bad place to be. Let's get your take on it. And again, you're smart. You got the smartest audience in the world. Where did it start? Did it begin with 9 -11? Did it begin with COVID? Did Republicans do enough to stop this? Defending Against Demoralization With Sebastian Gorka

"Dr. Gorka joins us. Dr. Gorka, thank you for taking the time. Dr. Gorka, no real agenda for us to talk about in particular, but one thing I do want to ask you about is I believe we're living through an attempt by the bad guys to demoralize our base. And I'm seeing the opposite. I'm seeing our side grow stronger in resolve. Talk about the psychological warfare of how Marxists attempt to try to break the resolve of the core base of a political party to take over a country. Well, look, first things first, the proof of the lie that we're losing steam and momentum is what you did Monday before last. When we heard about this rhino Secretary of State in New Hampshire, Scanlon, trying to remove President Trump from the ballots, you unleashed the hammers of hell on your show. You told everybody to get engaged in less than 24 hours. He said, oops, sorry, I didn't mean that. And he backed down. So God bless you, Charlie, everybody who listened to your rallying cry. And that's the truth. I've had it. I mean, you must get this every day as well. I've had it with ostensible conservatives, Trump voters. I met one at a church fate two Sundays ago who says, oh, he can't win or they're just gonna steal it again. And it's like, you know, those are the talking points the left has generated for you to propagate. That's psychological warfare. Just watch the video from the 1980s of this Soviet double agent, this, I think - Yuri Bezmenov. plays it. Yes. Yeah, Yuri Bezmenov. If you haven't seen it, Yuri, just watch the short version. The short version, he says, you can demoralize a whole nation. It takes about 10 to 12 years and you do it in the schools. And within 10 years, if you allow the children to doubt the veracity of the values upon which the nation is founded, you've taken control of that country. Yuri Bezmenov told us, and that's, I think, why you created Turning Point USA, because that's how we stop them, Charlie. And that's what you're doing.

"We get it. You're busy. You don't have time to waste on the mainstream media. That's why Salem News Channel is here. We have hosts worth watching, actually discussing the topics that matter. Andrew Wilkow, the next D 'Souza, Brandon Tatum, and more. Open debate and free speech you won't find anywhere else. We're not like the other guys. We're Salem News Channel. Watch any time on any screen for free 24 -7 at snc .tv and on Local Now Channel 525. This is your source for breaking news and what to make of it all. This is The Mike Gallagher Show. Former president has a very strong grassroots base and we have seen that demonstrated. Who would have thought a mugshot on a coffee mug would be a winning idea for a politician, huh? The issue for him that I would be worried about is that in 2020 he was able to stay in his basement. They're talking about masks again. Maybe he'll go back in the basement. We cannot have four more years of Donald Trump in the White House. Now from the relieffactor .com studios, here's Mike last week. And as it so happened, I didn't even realize that my scheduled vacation was up against the Labor Day holiday. So I had kind of a long break, you know, and I recharged the batteries and I got a fresh clear head and clear eyes and I am ready to go. And it's Tuesday, September the 5th. I wake up this morning, I flip on an app, listen to one of the shows that I listen to and I hear the host boldly proclaim, Trump cannot win next year. I'm looking at the phone and I'm thinking, did he just say that? In September of 2023, with a 46 point lead over Ron DeSantis, this friend of mine said on air, Trump cannot win next year. And all I could think of was, it's a good thing I'm back. I am back just in time. I am on the way. Here I am. So welcome in to a safe space. If you are a lover of Trump's policies and what was accomplished, I mean, I don't know that he can't win. I don't know that he can win. We got to let the voters start voting because when the voters in Iowa and South Carolina and New Hampshire, when they all start voting, if the votes line up with the polls, it's going to be a short party for Ron DeSantis, period. And that's when he's got to say, I'm all in for Donald Trump. And that's when I pray Donald Trump will say, he's my guy and it's going to be a Trump DeSantis 2024 ticket, which is unstoppable. And it's even better when you think about DeSantis' ability to govern as Trump is facing all these legal challenges. It's just, isn't it wild when things that some people think are complicated are really real simple. Welcome aboard. We got a lot of territory to cover. I hope you join us. The PhD weight loss and nutrition phone number is 800 -655 Mike. That's the way you join us. Press one to come on air. I missed you. I missed the show. It's so weird. I went with my dear friends, Joey and Peg Hudson to London, and we did all kinds of sightseeing. The Hudson's dragged me out to High Clear Castle, which is the scene of Downton Abbey. I've never seen Downton Abbey, but they love it. And it was fun. It's a beautiful, beautiful, big, big mansion in the countryside. We saw some shows. We ate well. We enjoyed life, enjoyed friendship. We're all facing challenges together as a country, as Americans. And we just got to remember we're in this together. You just wonder, though, how far they're going to go to try to stop Donald J. Trump. How far will they go? And I'm going to talk about something that is unthinkable, but Tucker Carlson talked about it on his show on X, and it is a horrific thing to consider. But I was watching over the weekend Adam Schiff and Bernie Sanders and all these dirty Democrats who are now talking about dusting off the 14th Amendment. Maybe that's the case. Maybe at the polls. Maybe DeSantis can't stop him. There's no way to stop this guy. We're trying to throw criminal charges at him one after the other. Maybe we could try to put him in jail. But we realize that the Constitution doesn't preclude him from running and winning, even if he's convicted of any of these charges. Maybe we can trot out the 14th Amendment, because there's something in the 14th Amendment about an insurrection. Never mind, Trump hasn't been convicted of any kind of insurrection and won't be. He's not facing insurrection charges anywhere. It's about payments to porn stars and it's about documents and it's not everything else but insurrection. But maybe, just maybe, the 14th Amendment will work. Maybe that's going to be our ace in the hole. If that doesn't work, what's left? Well, Tucker Carlson said it, I think, over the weekend, a horrific, evil, terrifying prospect. I've prayed about this all weekend because they didn't even know whether to bring it up to you. But Tucker put it out there. Millions and millions of people are watching Tucker. I think this was during a conversation he had, if I'm not mistaken, with Dave Portnoy.

"It's 8 a .m. Eastern, August 31st, and this is your Daily Crypto Report. Bitcoin is up 0 .5 % at $27 ,313, ETH is up 0 .5 % at $1 ,713, and Binance Coin is up slightly at $224. While Sam Beckman -Friede's lawyers argued against the government's use of millions of pages of documents for evidence claiming that they received them too late and that SPF can't properly review them in jail, the judge expressed skepticism and gave the lawyers until Friday to request a trial postponement, but there is no guarantee that it will be granted. The documents in question were obtained from Google due to a production error, but the judge noted that most of them were from SPF's own Google accounts. The judge stated that there's no evidence of the government acting in bad faith. Elon Musk's social media platform, X, formerly Twitter, has obtained money or currency transmitter licenses in multiple U .S. states, including Rhode Island, Maryland, and New Hampshire. These licenses allow for broader payment services, including processing crypto payments. Musk has expressed interest in supporting cryptocurrencies on the platform and has plans for X to expand beyond social media. The licenses obtained by X indicate that Musk may have intentions to offer payment processing services nationwide, similar to Venmo or PayPal, a company he was responsible for helping start. Other companies like Western Union and PayPal hold similar licenses in the states they serve. Coinbase is planning to list the newly launched PayPal stablecoin PiUSD pending sufficient liquidity. Coinbase will initially support PiUSD with an experimental label which is applied to new or low -volume assets on the platform. Sam Altman's Worldcoin has experienced a surge in signups in Argentina despite an ongoing investigation by local authorities. In a single day in August, approximately 9 ,500 Argentinians verified their World ID, averaging one verification every nine seconds. The project still faces pressure from Argentine authorities regarding data privacy. And finally, crypto data tracking platform Arkham Intelligence has identified Robinhood as the owner of the fifth -largest Ethereum wallet. The wallet holds approximately $2 .54 billion worth of ETH. Notably, these funds are held in custody for user balances. A highlight from 1387: One Bitcoin Will Be Worth $1 Billion By This Date - Fidelity

"Let's get it. In today's show, I'll be breaking down the latest technical analysis, as well as breaking news. Google Cloud to digitize El Salvador's governance, healthcare, and education, as well as Elon Musk's ex moves closer to crypto payments with their newest state license they just received, as well as breaking news. The SEC's first deadlines to approve seven Bitcoin ETFs are coming over the next week. We'll also be discussing Grayscale's roadmap to a Bitcoin spot ETF following the most recent SEC triumph, as well as Fidelity, one of the world's largest asset managers that currently control over four and a half trillion in assets under management are predicting a $1 billion price action for each Bitcoin. In fact, did you know they started accumulating Bitcoin all the way back in 2014, literally almost a decade ago? We'll also be taking a look at overall crypto market, all this plus so much more in today's show. 87. That's right. I'm your host JV. And we have a jam -packed session for you today. Looking at the market watch here, we can see Bitcoin after almost staying above 28 ,000. Unfortunately, it broke that support and we're back down to 27 ,200 at this time, but Ether also back in the red down 2 % for the day trading at just above $1 ,700. And checking out coinmarketcap .com, we're barely sitting above a trillion dollars, which is that milestone we've been sitting at for quite some time regarding the overall crypto market and about 34 billion in volume in the past 24 hours with the Bitcoin dominance at 48 .9 % with the Ether dominance at 18 .9%. And checking out the top 100 crypto gainers of the past 24 hours, we have XDC up 8 % trading at 6 .4 cents, followed by TonCoin up 6 % trading at $1 .75, followed by BlockStax up almost 3 % trading just under 53 cents and checking out the top 100 crypto gainers for the past week. Yesterday was a sea of green as the price action pumped literally $2 ,000 in a span of 30 minutes off of the news of the SEC losing their trial versus grayscale with the conversion of the GBTC product into a spot ETF. But today we have corrected some with HEXB crypto greed and fear index. We're currently rated a 49, which is neutral. Yesterday was a 39 in fear last week at 37 and last month a 50, which is neutral. So there you have it. How many of you are currently bullish on the king crypto? Let me know. And how many of you are anticipating a lower price action so you can keep stacking them sats on the low? Holla at your boy. Now let's break down today's Bitcoin technical analysis. Check out the charts and what is popping right now in the markets. As you can see here, Bitcoin drifted towards $27 ,000, which again, we're just sitting above $27 ,200 at the time of this recording. At the Wall Street open, the dust settled on the digital asset manager, grayscale's legal victory. Here you're looking at the Bitcoin one hour candle chart. Now data from Cointelegraph showed a positive verdict for grayscale against US regulators, sparking almost 8 % gains. Bitcoin managed to tap $28 ,100 on Bitstamp, its highest in almost two weeks, before returning to the current level. So despite closing the daily candle above two key moving averages, these had yet to return as definitive intraday support. And on the day, analysts were quite cautious. In a quick take post from on -chain analyst Crypto Quant, he goes on to share, noting that the grayscale move had originated on derivative exchanges. So despite funding rates remaining fairly neutral, there was a clear absence of value. However, it is difficult to see that the spot exchange led the price increase when the Bitcoin price rose yesterday. The reason is that the trading volume ratio shows that it had decrease rather than increase. Now additional data showed trading volumes were still below those seen during the upticks of earlier this year, quoting them here. Of course, there is a tendency for prices to change significantly, even with small trading volumes, because of the overall liquidity in the crypto market, which has decreased. However, it seems that there is a need to be a little cautious about the fact that this rally leads to a dramatic rally. Now let's discuss many similarities to Bitcoin's all -time high. According to crypto analyst Brett Capital, quoting him here, we're seeing many similarities between the double top of 2021 and what we're seeing right now, he warned. Should the similarities play out and Bitcoin produce a full fractal, 26 ,000 would flip from support to resistance to initiate further downside. So for the time being, we're seeing a lot of signs really playing into all of this in which he reiterated alongside this chart. Now, another target analysts are talking about right now is 23 ,000 becoming increasingly important. Rec capital likewise flagged that level of 23K as a prominent level versus the 2022 bear market bottom structure and inverse head and shoulders pattern, as he mentioned here, that's the level that we can see the price rebound from. So there you have it. Let me know if you feel we're likely to drop sub 25 ,000, potentially touch 23 before rising back up. Or do you think we'll take off from here, off of one of the biggest news stories of the year, which is a big fat L for the SEC and a big fat victory for the entire crypto industry. Let me know your thoughts. And with that being shared, fam, now let's discuss breaking news coming out of El Salvador with Google, which is actually quite interesting. Yesterday, I saw Nigel Bokele made a tweet and this is what it was in regards to Google Cloud announced a new partnership with the government of El Salvador. Interesting, right? On August 29th to establish an office and provide Google distributed cloud services in their country, the partnership aims to digitize the country, update government services and improve the healthcare and educational systems. The GDC will also help bring infrastructure closer to where data is generated for El Salvador. Bokele, the country's president said he believes El Salvador is quickly becoming a hub for innovation. As he shares here, El Salvador is moving forward. We believe technology and foreign investment are key for development. And here's where he announced the partnership in this, I shouldn't say tweet anymore, but on this post on X quoting Bokele, Google plans to establish operations in El Salvador and he shared the official press release from Google. Now, Thomas Curain, the CEO of Google Cloud said he believes cloud computing can truly transform Latin America. As shared here, access to cloud computing has dramatically expanded across industries and regions throughout the world, he said, enabling both small companies and the public sector to utilize the very same apps and services as more mature markets. Now, Cointelegraph also reached out to Google Cloud for additional comments on its recent expansion. The additional GDC infrastructure will help support El Salvador's active stance on Bitcoin adoption and integration into society. It allows for Bitcoin full nodes with ordinal protocol support. And additionally, back on August 8th, a few weeks ago, El Salvador granted the crypto exchange Binance a license to offer crypto services to users in the country. Bitcoin had began as legal tender in El Salvador back in 2021. And recently the Bitcoin Beach Initiative took to the classroom and taught over 25 ,000 students about Bitcoin, helping them earn a Bitcoin diploma via the country's educational system. The country has already seen immediate returns on the program with the example of one teenager who earned the diploma and then returned to his former school to teach the educators about the digital asset. That's what's up. I think mass adoption is likely to continue, especially in places like El Salvador that are ahead of the rest of the world. And I think more and more major companies are going to be opening up shop because it just makes so much sense. Why wouldn't they? That's why Binance just got their license. Jack Mallers Strike Company just got their license. Bitfinex got their license and they're opening up shop. And I believe that the Bitcoin game theory is in full effect and will continue to play out as the days go by. And with that being shared, fam, now let's break down our next story of the day. As you probably know, major news was actually released yesterday regarding X, which is the platform owned by Elon Musk to integrate crypto payments. We made a pretty big development, so let's break this down before we dissect the ETF deadlines. Rhode Island's regulators have granted X, formerly known as Twitter, a currency transmitter license, marking a step forward for the company's foray into the financial services sector. The license is legally required for companies conducting financial activities on behalf of users related to sending and receiving money, a definition that includes both fiat as well as crypto assets. Now, this approval will allow for X to custody, transfer and exchange digital currencies. Now, X's Rhode Island currency transmitter license was approved on August 28th, two days ago, according to the nationwide multi -state licensing system, NMLS. The move marks an important step forward for Elon's push for X to become an everything app, which would include crypto as well as fiat payments. Now, naturally, social networks like X are massive, so this could help usher in that mass adoption. Now, while sources have suggested that X's upcoming payments feature will initially only offer support for fiat currencies, Elon had reportedly instructed developers at X to build the platform's payment system in such a way that crypto functionality can be added into the future. Yeah, if you're not integrating Bitcoin into your payment system, then do you even have a payment system for the future as Bitcoin is the future of money? Just saying. The approval comes nearly two months after X secured money transmitter licenses, also in Michigan, Missouri, and New Hampshire, which were well -approved on July 5th. X's latest license marks a total of seven American states it secured transmitter licenses in, so my guess is they're going to have to continue getting more and more licenses for all the states. It remains unclear exactly what financial offerings will be made available if and when X rolls out their payments feature. People familiar with the company's plans have indicated that X will initially offer fiat currency transaction services similar to PayPal, which Musk co -founded with room for future crypto integration. Do you think Bitcoin will likely be an announcement that they will be accepting crypto payments? I mean, who cares about Doge if you don't have Bitcoin integrated? So, I feel Bitcoin is a given if they're going to be integrating crypto and it seems to be going that way. But how do you feel this is likely to play out? Let me know your honest thoughts in the comments right down below. And now let's break down everything you need to know regarding the recent spot ETF deadlines for the United States and regulators. And after we discuss all these deadlines, we're going to specifically be talking about the GBTC Grayscale product, getting that victory over the SEC and what that means moving forward with the Grayscale Bitcoin ETF. And then we'll be dissecting Fidelity, one of the largest asset managers in the world, and their $1 billion Bitcoin price prediction. And then we'll wrap up with our live Q &A. So yeah, let's discuss this. The US SEC is facing its first deadlines to decide on seven spot Bitcoin ETF apps, with the latest being September 4th, which is what, virtually five days away amid its defeat to Grayscale Investments in the US Federal Appeals Court. Investment firm Bitwise will learn if its ETF will win the SEC's approval September 1st, which is what, two days away. While BlackRock, VanEck, Fidelity, Invesco, and WisdomTree will all be awaiting the SEC's decision for their funds by September 2nd, three days away, according to several SEC filings. So, that's right around the corner. It's going to be a big week. Meanwhile, Valkyrie is set to hear back from the SEC on September 4th. The US Court of Appeals ruled on August 29th that the SEC's rejection of Grayscale's app to convert their GBTC into a spot Bitcoin ETF was arbitrary and capricious. But this doesn't mean that the SEC must approve Grayscale's app or others in the future, says Bloomberg ETF analyst, James Safart. And in August 29th Bloomberg Review, he explained that Grayscale's win will definitely increase the odds of a successful outcome for the SEC. But he is unsure when that day may come though, as the SEC can delay his decisions and has two more proposed deadlines for each fund before being forced to make a final decision on the 240th day post filing. Now, what a shame it would be if they make us wait the 240th final day before giving an answer. But hey, don't run it by them. I mean, don't put it past them, especially with Mr. No Clarity Gary as the chairman. But anyways, for the awaiting applicants, the final deadlines for the SEC are all in mid -March of next year. And as someone shared here, odd and free, 99 .9999 % chance that the world doesn't know that the SEC has to decide on seven Bitcoin ETFs within the next three days. And this does include the largest asset manager in the world, BlackRock, Bitwise, VanEck, WisdomTree, Investico, Fidelity, and Valkyrie. The suits are at our doorstep per each. And how many of you weren't aware of that, that the decision within the next seven days is going to be on those seven major asset managers. Now, after the August 29th ruling in favor of Grayscale, the regulators have 90 days to file an appeal with the US Supreme Court or apply for an en banc review where the full circuit court can overturn a ruling made by a three judge panel. However, the SEC hasn't made clear what the next move will be. If the SEC doesn't appeal, the court will need to specify how its ruling is executed, which could include instructing the SEC to approve Grayscale's app or at the very least revisit it. But either way, Safer only saw two viable options for the regulator. The first option is to concede defeat and approve Grayscale's conversion of its GBTC as a Bitcoin spot ETF. But alternatively, the SEC would need to revoke the listing of Bitcoin futures ETFs entirely or deny Grayscale's app based on a new argument, says Safer, quoting him here, the second potential avenue is to deny on reasons not used before yet, which I have been saying for months could have to do with custody or settlements of Bitcoin, which is not something that futures ETFs have to worry about. The SEC has made a lot of noise around custodians. However, fellow Bloomberg ETF analyst, Eric Balchunes, considered the odds of the SEC revoked in the Bitcoin futures ETFs as highly unlikely because of the SEC reported openness to Ethereum futures ETFs, in which he makes a great point, quoting Eric here. This guy turned the last paragraph of Judge Rao's legal smackdown today into a MGMTS stylish banger, really captures the modern. Well done. Well, so there you have it. I guess this is some song I haven't even listened to yet. So I'll jam to it a little later on. We'll see if it's any good. But anyways, fam, how do you think this is likely to play out by the SEC? Do you think they're likely to approve any of these seven ETFs or do you think they'll just continue to push it back until next year? Let me know your honest thoughts in the comments right down below. Now let's dive deeper with the latest breaking news regarding the grayscale ETF and their conversion of their product into a spot ETF. And did you know that their product literally has over 600 ,000 BTC? Hence, they'd be the perfect candidate for a spot Bitcoin ETF because they already hold the underlying asset. They don't need to purchase it. So I mean, they'd be a prime candidate along with BlackRock. Which one will get approval first is the million dollar question, but let's break it down. In a seismic shift for the Bitcoin industry, the DC Circuit Court ruled in favor of grayscale investments yesterday, which is breaking news, which we've been hearing all across social media. Now, Jake Stravinsky, the chief policy officer at Blockchain Association, described the ruling as massive, emphasizing it's extremely rare for a federal circuit court to find an agency like the SEC in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. Stravinsky stated that the DC Circuit soundly rejected the SEC's view that grayscale's ETF proposal was not designed to prevent fraudulent and manipulative acts and practices. So good for them. He also pointed out that the court did not order the SEC to approve the proposal, but rather mandated a review of grayscale's proposal with the court's ruling in mind. Stravinsky speculated on two possible scenarios for the SEC's next steps. One theory suggests the SEC could find another reason to include no clarity Gary towards crypto. And alternatively, the SEC might take this as a semi graceful exit from their anti ETF stance, especially under political pressure from traditional finance sectors ready for a Bitcoin ETF as we are long overdue. They first rejected the first Bitcoin ETF for a spot in the United States over a decade ago. And the app was from the Winklevoss twins with Gemini, just FYI. Now, many other issuers have proposed ETFs this year, include BlackRock and Larry Fink throws heavy punches in DC. Therefore, here's what the lawyer thinks. The only question is if the SEC wants to make this more painful for itself. Trust me, if there is another denial, there'll be another lawsuit. I strongly recommend that the SEC picks sooner. Let's see. Now, James Safart, the ETF analyst over at Bloomberg, corroborated the significance of the ruling stating it's a complete and utter rebuke of the SEC spot Bitcoin ETF denial orders. And quoting him here, I was initially thinking something like a deadline of 45 days or 60 days, but nothing in here saying that. However, he noted that the SEC has 45 days to file for that en banc hearing, which would involve all 17 judges on the court, good Lord, as opposed to the initial subset panel of only three judges. The Bloomberg analysts also outlined two main motions for the SEC. If they still wish to prevent the spot Bitcoin ETFs from listing, they either need to revoke the listing of Bitcoin futures ETFs or denied based on new reasons, possibly related to custodial or settlement issues, which have been a focal point for the SEC staff accounting bulletin 121. Now, Adam Cochran, partner of CEHV added another layer to the timeline speculation. He alludes to the SEC's pending decision on six other Bitcoins spot ETF filings due by September 1st for Bitwise and September 2nd for BlackRock, Fidelity and others. Here's what he had to share. Some folks are getting ahead of themselves thinking that grayscale decisions means bulk approval of ETFs by this Friday. Likely not the case. My hunches were looking at a late October, November timeline for an approval still, unless the SEC appeals in which case next spring. Now I'm not a gambling man, but if I was a gambling man, I just want to throw out there. I don't think the SEC has any intention to approve a spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States anytime soon because their actions demonstrate the complete opposite. The only thing they have interest in approving are more futures ETFs so they can continue to manipulate the markets through derivatives, which are financial weapons of mass destruction. Quoting Warren Buffett, it is what it is, but nonetheless, this is still a victory overall because they could only push it back for so long. And especially with BlackRock demanding, I shouldn't say demanding, but in so many words, they're the one that started this domino effect with new ETF apps arising with the SEC. They are the largest asset manager in the world, controlling over $10 trillion in assets under management. So I think if Larry Fink wants something, it's going to get done. But the million dollar question becomes when? I think they're going to push it back this year and probably spring next year, we're going to finally start to see the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States. And as soon as we get that approval, that can help usher in literally trillions upon trillions of dollars that are currently sitting on the sidelines directly in to the best crypto asset in the world, which is none other than BTC. If you'd love to see that happen, let me know. And by what date or deadline do you think we're likely to get that first approval? And you already know once that approval comes, money is going to start ushering in and the Bitcoin price is going to go parabolic and in perfect time because we also have another major bullish catalyst around the corner. Six months out, the scheduled halving is estimated to be sometime in April of 2024. So between the ETF apps being approved by the United States regulators and the Bitcoin halving, I couldn't be more bullish on Bitcoin right now, which leads us to our next story of the day, which is going to be a $1 billion prediction from one of the largest asset managers in the world, which is Fidelity. Let's break this down. Then we'll dive into our live Q &A. Make sure to say hello in the live chat. Let me know where you're tuning in from. A massive shout out to everyone interacting. I greatly appreciate all the continued support. So here we go. $1 billion. That's a lot of zeros. That is nine to be exact. In 2021, a billion dollars seems like a lot of money. FYI, Fidelity initially made this prediction in 2021. I also want to point out here from some tweets, Fidelity head of sales, quoting them here, we started mining and accumulating Bitcoin all the way back in 2014. I bet you a lot of you did not know that. This was kind of under the radar, but they have been accumulating BTC almost for the past decade. So is this a surprise that they're predicting a $1 billion Bitcoin price by 2038? They're putting their money where their mouth is. But anyways, we have Julian Timmer, Director of Global Macro Fidelity, believing that one Bitcoin could be worth $1 billion per coin by the year 2038. Send it and let's go. Timmer also believes that the orange coin could hit $1 million before this decade is over, which means by the year 2030, roughly seven years away. So that would represent a 20X multiple, the current Bitcoin market price of 48 ,000. But now obviously we're half that price of what we was. So that would now be 40X. And I know anyone can make predictions like that, but Timmer lays out his cause using his own valuation model and another well -known model, which we all know here on the channel, known as the stock, the flow. Timmer's demand model is based upon Metcalfe's law. Metcalfe holds that as the number of users of a network grows linearly, the value of the network grows exponentially. Thus, if the number of users doubled, its value would grow at four times or the square of two. Now Timmer's demand model grows steadily to about $1 million by the chart. Now, by contrast, now let's discuss the stock to flow model created by synonymous analysts. Plan B is based on the supply of new coins growing at a decreasing rate each year. This occurs because of the built -in happenings every four years. So given increases and adoption and demand, the result will be prices expanding exponentially. Indeed, the price of Bitcoin has grown approximately 10X every four years. Take that, Peter Schiff. These are facts, not just by 50 % slowdown in supply, pretty powerful stuff. That's right. Now, stock to flow predicts even faster growth in the price than does Timmer's demand model, especially after the year 2030. As I commonly cover here in the show, the stock to flow model is projecting roughly a half a million dollar Bitcoin price past the halving in 2024. In fact, the model shows a very wide array in their expectation, anywhere from a hundred thousand to a million dollars, with a half a million being dead in the middle, hence in a couple of episodes previously, if you missed it, we discussed Plan B's most recent prediction, which he shared on his YouTube channel, that he believes the Bitcoin price will be north of $530 ,000 per coin proceeding the Bitcoin halving in 2024. But let's get back to this math. This is the stock to flow model you're looking at right here. Now let's go back over here. This is some more insights. Timmer stated the value of the dollar changes in relation to other assets. And he further pointed out that just a dollar invested in stocks in the 18th century would be worth $4 billion in today's money. Isn't that insanity? Talk about super hyperinflation. So going by this assumption, $1 million in today's money can be worth a billion dollars in 20 years time. Good Lord. You better start stacking them now, fam. So changes in the dollar's value, especially depreciation over several decades, render the same amount with less purchasing power, which is why huge sums back then appear less by today's standards. For instance, $1 million can purchase a lot of significant things a few decades ago, but in today's perspective, reasonably higher end houses in the US cost between, I would say $200 ,000 and $500 ,000. The same $1 million may not suffice for the same class of houses today. This is a fact. Just here in Puerto Rico alone, I've seen the real estate market literally shoot up 100 to 300 % since moving to this island roughly four years ago. And that's not just an exception to the rule. It's all across the United States, hyperinflation. I mean, check out the rent prices. That will give us some insights to the true nature of inflation. You can check out Zillow, check out real estate five years ago in comparison today, and you'll probably see something quite similar. But anyways, there's an increasing number of billionaires across the globe. Facts. Some observers even believe we may see the first trillionaire in this lifetime. I think it could potentially be CZ, the finance CEO, or even Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy. Now, the same applies to organizations with several companies now passing the $1 trillion mark valuation cap. Fidelity previously pegged Bitcoin to hit $1 million in initial prediction made by Jerry and Timmer by the year 2035. However, he ultimately said, we're way too conservative. Let's move this target on up from $1 million by the year 2035 to $1 billion by the year 2038. So there you have it. Do you feel the Bitcoin price can likely exceed their conservative target of $1 million by the year 2030 within the next seven years and hit as high as $100 million to $1 billion per coin by the year 2038? A highlight from LEAKED! Elon Musk's Plan For Crypto Payments On Twitter!

"It's amazing because yesterday when we here, we spoke about the importance of not giving up when this market feels depressing and when you feel like you want to win this markets trying to squeeze you out, not with price, but with the sideways to down demotivate demotivating movement. And then as the show finished, we got this godlike candle when the SEC defeated Grayscale, sorry, when Grayscale defeated the SEC in in court and got this this this this godlike candle. It looks like to me it looks like we are holding that level at the moment. Also very importantly, what we want to do is you want to make sure we close above this 200 week moving average at the end of this week, which is on Sunday, which is at about 27 ,580. So super important that we actually hold this level. So all eyes on this level. And now we've got this ruling in the Grayscale case. And what it means is we are one step closer to an ETF. And we do have at the end of this week, we actually got a deadline for the SEC to respond to the BlackRock ETFs and a whole lot of other ETFs. So let's talk about how close we are actually to the ETFs. Also I want to talk about how humiliating the judgment was for the SEC and whether they're actually going to appeal it because of all the humiliation. Because if you looked at the judgment, the judgment actually used what Aubrey Struble calls capricious, capricious is such a top tier insult. So like, I mean, it is quite a top tier insult. You know why it's a top tier insult because it's quite a, it's an intellectual insult. Like you'd never hear someone who's not intellectual call somebody else capricious. And for those of you who don't know what capricious actually means, what it means is it means given to sudden and unaccountable changes of moods, almost like, like, um, people who are unstable, so to speak, changing according to no discernible rules and unpredictables. Actually what I can say is that before I got married, I had a whole, a whole lot of capricious girlfriends. I'm sure you've had some capricious girlfriends too, who just did crazy things at crazy times that were completely unpredictable. So it's a, I agree with Aubrey that it's a real, uh, a top tier insult and I'm going to add that insult to my, um, my, uh, my, um, my arsenal of, of, of, uh, um, intellectual insults. If you want to call it that. Um, I mean, I guess this guy must be super humiliated right now. And I think, I mean, I love this meme that says pivot to finding a new job, sir, because it's starting to look really dire for you. What we're learning is we're learning that every time we take on the SCC in every time one of the big boys takes on the SCC, every time that we're not bullied by, by, um, the SCC, they seem to be losing and think, thank heavens that the U S has a good court system that is actually keeping everything saying here, because otherwise the SCC would be, we'd be running rampant. But the main thing for me is that every time that the SCC is taking on crypto or the big boys in crypto, SCC is losing, and it's got two big battles ahead. It's got Coinbase coming up and it's got finance coming up. And I want to talk about finance because there is something pretty serious happening around finance. And that is that the SCC has actually filed a sealed motion in its case against finance. Now this is a very, very rare thing that the SCC, that the SCC has done a sealed motion means that for very specific reasons, they don't want to make the filings in that motion public. And we'll talk about what that could mean. Also what I want to talk to you guys about today, which I think is very, very, very big we mustn't miss this is Twitter's crypto integration plans because they are accumulating licenses state by state. They've got an Arizona license. They've got a Georgia license. They've got a Maryland license. They've got a Michigan license and Missouri license and New Hampshire license. And yesterday on the show, we broke the fact that they had a Rhode Island license. Now we think we know what their Twitter plans are or what Twitter's crypto integration plans are. And we'll talk about what those Twitter integration plans are and what it means for crypto adoption of crypto and what it means for your coin. And then lastly today, I want to talk about the economic data, specifically the economic data that came out because we got the GDP numbers that came out. The GDP, the estimated GDP was 2 .4%. We got 2 .1%. The core PCE prices were 3 .7 % against an estimate of 3 .8%. So slightly lower the GDP, as we said, 2 % estimate of 2 .2%. So what it means is that the economy is slowing down. If the economy slows down, it's a double edged sword. On the one hand, we could be seeing a recession. I'm going to show you later on how the banks are actually starting to prepare for a recession. What is it that they know that we don't know? On the other hand, if the economy is slowing down, then that means that Powell can't continue to raise interest rates in perpetuity or to continue to raise interest rates. And so that may mean the end of the interest rate tightening cycle. So we're going to explore that. So listen, we got a jam -packed, jam -packed show today, there's a lot, a lot, a lot to talk about.

"Now, mind you, many of you are emailing us freedom at charliekirk.com. Charlie, I couldn't get through. Charlie, I couldn't get through. That's great. There was such an overwhelming income. Number two, I think this is a lesson of how important our show is here and how important you are. And I read your emails. You send me freedom at charliekirk.com. We have an ongoing dialogue together, which is why I think the show is so powerful. I'm not talking at you. We're talking with each other. And I read and I learn and you guys correct my grammar even, which I appreciate. It was probably more like thousands of phone calls. Let's just say it was a thousand. But it goes to show that if you are on the edge, if you are learning, if you're watching, if you're seeing, if you're tracking, that is very important. That's what a quote unquote war room should be doing. That's what Bannon does very, very well. And so we're constantly looking at the target, finding it, freeze it, isolate it, and then keep the pressure on, Saul Linsky would say. Not that I'm a big Saul Linsky believer, but he certainly knew how to mobilize the grassroots towards an aim and an objective. But the other lesson I think that's important here is that when there's something treacherous underway, our best response is exposure. You have to wonder if we would have been able to shine a light early on with some of the treachery that has now grown. You see, they're going to try this in other states. They're going to try this in other areas. California is probably going to try to keep Donald Trump off the ballot. There's going to be other places that do this. What made the New Hampshire example especially repulsive is you had Quickie, who was a Republican candidate Trump endorsed, and then you had Scanlon, who's a Republican secretary of state, entertaining them. Oh, you know, I'm looking at this. No, no, we're not going to put up with this. It's not going to happen. We're long past the time of, well, I just had a meeting. You shouldn't have the meeting. You should have told Quickie this dog doesn't hunt in New Hampshire. You take a meeting, just every meeting. Yeah, I think that Donald Trump should just get all the electoral college votes for New Hampshire because he was a great president. Oh, really? Let's have a meeting about that. It's so out there that this legal theory is so fringe. It is so unsubstantiated. Lawrence Tribe just basically just pounding out things on his laptop. I hate Trump. Therefore, you see, this is a big issue, and I think we need to. I think we need to walk through this. They start from the premise of defeat Trump, imprison Trump, hold on to power, and then they creatively use the Constitution or find clauses, sentences, words in the Constitution to fit their aim and their objective. That is the opposite of originalist intent. That is a living, breathing Constitution to fit your aims and your ambitions. And they're going to try this again. They're going to try all out 14th Amendment. They're going to try removal from ballot. This thing is probably going to get up to the Supreme Court, but we need to get people on the record that there are no such removals from ballot. That, by the way, poor guy from South Carolina. I must have got 10 messages while we were doing the show. Charlie, no, they were misunderstanding what I was saying. Like, no one's getting kicked off the ballot. No one's getting kicked off the ballot. So I wasn't suggesting that the the sweet secretary statement from South Carolina was kicking Trump off the ballot. What I was saying is that if another state kicks Trump off the primary ballot, we should kick Biden off the ballot. Fight fire with fire. Here's the thing. NBC News says Charlie Kirk supporters flooded the office. Hundreds of calls Monday. Bad guys do not like being called out. For their treachery. We need to scale this. Keep the pressure on. Continue to expose what they are doing. The power of this audience is real. We shouldn't do it all the time, but when we find it necessary, when they are going after the Constitution itself, there will be full all out mobilization. Very thankful for you guys. You guys are terrific. Now the timeline is coming together, but the question is, what is the intent? What do they really want to have happen here? I'm going to debunk one of the low IQ takes from the neoliberal Republicans regarding the timeline. I want to talk about relief factor dot com. I want you guys to check out relief factor dot com. Hundred percent drug free knee pain, back pain, joint pain, elbow pain. Check out relief factor energy help makes your body make nutrients readily available. Relief factor sleep. The first trial looks like it's going to be on March 4th. Now, Donald Trump is going to appeal this, but just to give you an idea, this is the day before Super Tuesday, the day before Super Tuesday. Now, consider all the attack vectors that are currently underway against Trump. September 6th, Trump will be arraigned formally in the Fulton County on conspiracy. March 4th. And by the way, there's so many other pretrial deadlines that we're skipping over. Here's as it is right now. March 4th, Jack Smith begins his trial before the number one January 6th punisher, Judge Chutkin. And just take Trump out of the picture. Former president, former president, while trying to become president again, has to stand trial on garbage. Never before in American history on a legal theory. Never before tested in American history. On March 25th, New York trial begins on the ridiculously fringe novel criminal theory from Alvin Bragg. In May, Trump's document trial begins in Florida. Now, legal scholars are also pushing this hair-brained republic-ending legal theory simultaneously of the 14th amendment somehow empowers local election officials to unilaterally move Trump from ballot access across the nation. So let me just take a time out. Let me tell you how this is going to work. If the trial dates are as they have them currently outlined, the DC one in particular will be very difficult for Donald Trump to win. But winning is you get acquitted, not guilty. Very, very hard. We live in this sick, brave new world of zip code justice where you get a completely different trial based on where your trial occurs. On jury selection in particular, but also the judge. Look at Andy Ngo's trial in Portland. We didn't cover this on the show and we should have. Andy Ngo was suing civilly against Antifa. And at the end of the trial, despite having video evidence he lost the trial, the lawyer for Antifa points to the jury and says, I remember every single one of you. We are watching you and we are Antifa and the judge does nothing. That is outright jury intimidation. Cars were broken into of journalists that were covering the event and the judge just kind of sits there and says, welcome to Portland. Despite having video evidence, having the goods. Because it's Portland, Antifa are the shock troops of the left of Portland. They're untouchable. They are the Praetorian Guard. They act with impunity. They do what they want. They are black block. So zip code justice is the new way our country operates. So Donald Trump will not get a fair hearing. If I am proven wrong here, I hope I am proven wrong. But I also want to make sure we tell you the truth because I don't do the hopium stuff. You know, some of these broadcasts I get sent of other people. Oh, Donald Trump is going to beat all these charges that I'm sorry. That's that's nonsense. Should he? Of course, it's a bunch of trash. It's gibberish. It's garbage. He is most likely going to be found guilty in Washington, D.C. if the trial date happens under its current schedule. Now, that will be immediately appealed up to the United States Supreme Court. Presidential immunity, executive privilege. This is going to start an avalanche of questions. But let's just focus on the dates really quick. And then I'm going to also mention something that some people that do not like Trump that call themselves Republicans are talking about. Number one, this is the day before Super Tuesday, the day before Super Tuesday. Direct election interference, but they don't want elections evidence. How could you say such a thing? They don't want elections. Just read The New York Times. Just read The Atlantic. Elections are an annoyance to the insiders. Elections bother them. They prefer selections. The Constitutional Republic has elections. Oligarchies have selections. Important difference. But as soon as Donald Trump is convicted and hopefully not, but he probably will be found guilty in D.C., then all of a sudden, all of these fringe legal theories, the 14th Amendment will resurface because then they'll say, well, previously we said you don't need to be convicted, but now he's convicted. So now you totally should not allow him on the ballot in the midst of the Republican primary. So some people are coming out who are in the Ron DeSantis camp or in the Nikki Haley camp, and they say this. They say that the Department of Justice and the Democrat Party, they want to run against Donald Trump. So they're doing these indictments so Donald Trump will win the primary and they'll run against him in the general election. This is ridiculously stupid. Instead, here's what they really believe. They believe Trump will win the primary no matter what, and they're trying to weigh him down ahead of the general election. They're trying to damage him, smear him and slander him, that by the time he takes the stage at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee of July of next year, that he will be a multiple convicted felon. They want to have the description, the adjectives for all of the info babes at MSNBC and CNN. The Dylan Mulvaney lookalike, Caitlin Collins and all of them. Twice convicted felon, Donald Trump. Twice convicted felon, once convicted felon, Donald Trump. Facing XYZ years in prison. They want that. It's a psy-op. They want to be able to describe him as a felon because yes, it does make it harder to win over independent voters if you have felon in front of your name. But CNN.com just published. Yes, of course Donald Trump can win in 2024. CNN.com, the chance of Trump winning another term is very real. Politico.com, Trump actually has a pretty good odds of getting back in the White House. Yes, he can win. And understand their ultimate insurance plan is Fulton County. New York is a weak case. It might end up being successful is even if he wins the presidency, there is a chance that a local DA could say, Mr. President, you have to report to prison in Fulton County, Georgia. They have thought this through. You are living through their plan. As we talked about with Tyler Boyer yesterday, not trying to demoralize you, not trying to press you, we're going to build you back up with actual some spirit. There is no plan. No one has thought this through. There's no war room. There's no central nervous system. We're just kind of hoping and guessing like, oh, well, maybe we could do this. Meanwhile, the Democrats have this planned down to the date, pure coordination, sophisticated harmony, harmonization. And this is going to be happening right in the middle of the Republican primary. Now, to the best of our knowledge, we've asked around. There is not a single district attorney or Republican attorneys general that has an active criminal investigation and or plans to indict a single Democrat anytime soon. Not one. Just so just so we're clear about our side. Now, if these trials are done in the first half of 2024, then if they get a conviction, they can smear Trump as a convicted criminal in the second half. They might be able to get an appeals court to affirm the conviction by Election Day, or they might even be able to manage to get an order sending Trump to prison in the midst of an election, forcing Trump off the campaign trail and giving them an enormously powerful image. At that point, they're just trying to provoke the right to violence. Do not take the bait. Could you how could you possibly say that you're trying to heal the country? Which they're such liars that in the midst of an election, you wheel off the opposition candidate who was president for four years. And here's a fact, Donald Trump has been president longer than Joe Biden has been president. That's an obviously, but it's just worth repeating. He was president for a full term. And if and when he gets convicted. There's all these appeals that will eventually make its way up to the Supreme Court, mainly on technical issues. But even if Donald Trump gets acquitted by everybody, the Democrats still win. They will have made Donald Trump spend tens of millions of dollars on legal fees. They will have slowed down his campaign. They will have tattered his image. They are using every cheating trick in the book, every possible cheating trick. The whole kitchen sink. They are maximizing their advantages for the 2020 for election. This has never been about the law. It's never been about justice. This is about keeping power and crushing you the enemy. They think they are close. They think they are one election away from permanently turning the country into California, which is a one party state. I got asked recently by somebody, well, Charlie, what's their goal? One party state. They want the country to become California, New York, and then they could really start the tyranny. This is just a warm up. They have not even begun really what they want to do. OK, so then a very obvious question, you know, a good friend of mine who runs Prana IV, by the way, if you guys are in the valley of Phoenix of the sun, you guys should check out Prana IV therapy. They do a really great job if you're ever sick or you want some wellness. So Kirk, who runs Prana, he asked me, he says, Well, Charlie, does that mean that Trump will pardon himself? Yeah, that means that Trump would have to pardon himself. Understand that this is leading up to where they're trying to force the issue where if he's convicted, Trump would have to run on a self pardon, which they think would be very, very unpopular. But let me tease a little bit of good news here, because that's all very heavy. It's very, very heavy, no doubt. But this show, we look at things that are not always news before they it's kind of news before it becomes news, the things that are below the surface. And by the way, I don't care if Trump pardons himself. In fact, I think he should pardon himself. Doesn't he needs a part in a lot of people. January 6th defendants, he needs to do a lot of stuff. But let me tell you about the story that's bubbling up, bubbling up, bubbling up. There is a wing of the Democrat Party that really no longer exists. These are the old Crow Democrats. You call them blue dogs. You could call them war hawks. I'm talking about Joe Lieberman. I'm talking about even Republicans in quotes like Jon Huntsman. And there really isn't a place for them in the modern Republican Party. And there really isn't a place for them in the modern Democrat Party. And financiers are getting together and we have warned about this in a good way. No Labels is holding a nominating convention in April. NBC News, No Labels chair McCrory, who is the former governor of North Carolina, says those saying third party can't succeed thought Trump couldn't win. They are talking a big game. Understand that as overwhelming as it might seem, Donald Trump v. Biden, Donald Trump v. Biden, because we're not making the investments. I mean, we're trying our best at turning point action with a shred of a budget. But the big oligarchs, they're too busy spending money with DeSantis. I'll get to that if I have time. No Labels getting into the race. We do not know how it's going to work out. It could help Trump. It could hurt Trump. I think it actually helps Trump. And the Democrats agree. The Democrats are doing everything they possibly can to prevent No Labels from running. They're trying to cut deals. They're trying to offer stuff. Joe Lieberman, who is the former vice presidential nominee with Al Gore in the 2000 election, says, quote, we do not look to be a spoiler. We'll launch a 2024 campaign to win, and they would be very well financed. If there is an entry of a third party type campaign with Cornel West with No Labels, all bets are off. This is one of the reasons why they have to try to weigh down Donald Trump as every way they can. Now, I'm not a fan of David Axelrod's politics, but I think David Axelrod about 50 percent of the time says something smart when he's just talking about pure politics. And David Axelrod said Donald Trump's ceiling is capped, but so is his basement or his floor. That Donald Trump has a ceiling problem, but a floor advantage. I thought that was really well put by David Axelrod, where his base will not move from him. But there might be a difficulty moving beyond the 46, 47 percent of a base. But if you have multiple candidates, that ends up being an amazing advantage for you. So we don't know if No Labels, who they will nominate, if it will work, if it will help, will it hurt Donald Trump in certain states like Utah? It remains to be seen. But here's the story that made me almost throw my coffee at the wall this morning. While the Democrats are currently pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into ballot chasing, voter registration, they have hundreds of full time staffers in Arizona, Wisconsin and Georgia. Turning Point Action has a couple dozen. We're doing the best we can. We know of no other full time organizers out there. The RNC certainly doesn't have them. Ron DeSantis Super PAC sitting on one hundred and ten million dollars has just said that they are doing a 12 million dollar ad placement right now to support Ron DeSantis. I think Ron DeSantis is a great governor. Why is he trying to ruin his political career right now? Spend that money to help us win in the general. Why are you buying ads to make consultants rich in Iowa? Just say, look, I'm going to go be governor of Florida and turn Florida into the most Republican state. I'm going to deploy my one hundred million dollars to help us defeat Joe Biden. He would be hero status in the Republican Party win or lose. He would look magnanimous. He would look like a confident leader. He would look like he is bigger than just the personal pettiness that's going on right now. Instead, you might as well just burn that money. Donald Trump will be the nominee absent an unforeseen black swan event. We need that money as a movement right now and you're lighting it on fire, lighting it on fire. This is why the Democrats are so confident. They're so cocky. Indict Trump, weigh him down, make the Republicans fight amongst themselves, burn the money, do the boring stuff in Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia and squeak out a win. And meanwhile, we're worried on a vanity project. It's got to change very soon. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. Email us your thoughts as always. Freedom at Charlie Kirk dot com. "So the media can't, the media, instead of saying, well, yeah, of course, we're going to keep Trump off the ballot. They have to try to make it seem as if we were spreading something false. That's a huge win, everybody. They're lying about that. But the fact that they now say it's false, that Trump won't be on the ballot. Boom, that's considered to now be fake news, even though he himself acknowledges. I sat down with Corky Messner and was considering it. Oh, so you heard a presentation. You were considering it. But now the secretary of state says, hold on, timeout. Basically, what this whole thing is, is this is them suing for peace. They want their phone lines back. That's what this is. You guys called so much. You guys kept so much pressure on. They leaked this to NBC News, basically saying, feel sorry for us. The Charlie Kirk supporters keep on calling. And now he's saying, I don't even know why they're calling because there's no such plans. Good. We'll stop calling as soon as you repeatedly say that Donald Trump is allowed on the ballot and emailing. Until then, the calls will continue until morale improves. But right now, it's fine. We got what we wanted. We will scale this in every precinct, every district, every county, every secretary of state. The grassroots will be alive. We will pick the target. We'll be peaceful. We'll be polite. We'll be factual. But we'll be clear. We will honor your office holder. But we're not going to back off and we're going to let you take people off the ballot off of some fringe weird legal theory because David French can't get platformed anywhere else. Oh, I woke up and I think enough. Get out of the way. We're not going to put up with it. Big win for the grassroots. Strong cell is amazing. I got to tell you, the combination of NADH, CoQ10 and collagen is really something. You know, people ask me, they say, Charlie, how do you keep your energy up? How do you just keep on pushing? Look, part of it is diet, nutrition. But I'll be honest. I take supplements really seriously. Fact check me on this. You can say, oh, I'm going to fact check you. Type this into your search engine. N-A-D-H. Just type it in. What does it tell you? It might tell you that it is the secret to living long, anti-aging properties, more energy. All of that is being proven in more and more clinical trials. N-A-D-H is a precursor so that your mitochondria can remain healthy and vibrant. The elites, a lot of billionaires, people, a lot of money. They spend a ton of money on NAD. Such a fact. NAD just might be your secret weapon for more energy. I take NAD every single day. I could tell you that NADH, compared with CoQ10, the trials show very, very good things on it. Don't take my word for it. I mean, honestly, my word should be good for something. But fact check me. Look at it. And if you do it over 30 days, you'll see an increase in energy. I wake up better than ever before. "Brought to you by the loan experts I trust. Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandtodd.com. There is a fair amount of negative news out there, but yesterday you guys stepped up and you made national news. Yesterday we talked about the plan to prevent Donald Trump from being on the primary ballot in New Hampshire. Breaking over the weekend, ABC News said the New Hampshire Secretary of State was playing patty cake and meeting with Quickie Corky. The Corky Corky, whatever that weirdest name I've ever seen. Corky Quickie, whatever. Corky Messner, who says that Donald Trump should not be allowed on the ballot. The New Hampshire Secretary of State says, okay, I'm going to entertain this. And he met with Quickie. And this all of a sudden was starting to gain traction and momentum. You had the Atlantic say that Donald Trump should not be allowed on the ballot. You have the New York Times come out and say that Donald Trump should not be allowed on the ballot. New York Times came out and said that elections are bad for democracy. They were building and they were building and they were building. Now, praise God, this show is growing like gangbusters. Praise God. It's one of the few positive things happening on the landscape right now. You guys are more engaged and you are more willing for action than ever. And so I've been monitoring these issues outside of the silly stuff we see on TV. Republican good, Democrat bad. And I'm trying to find the pressure points. We are trying to find the pressure points of where they're going to try to pull a fast one against the United States Constitution. And New Hampshire seemed to be the place where Corky, it's his actual name, was going to do that. So the New Hampshire Secretary of State was like, well, I'm open to all these ideas. And we isolated the New Hampshire Secretary of State yesterday. You guys literally melted the phone lines yesterday. So many phone calls from this audience from across the country saying, what are you thinking? What are you doing? What are you doing? Front page of NBCNews.com. Of course, they had to get their little jabs in. These people are so dishonest. These people would be editors at Pravda. But that's OK, because the piece actually is fine outside of their outright lies. Trump supporters flood New Hampshire election office with calls after false claims about ballot access, false claims. They're the ones that are hosting the meetings. In fact, in the article, they say it. But that's all right. I'll get to that. That's the second point. The more important point is this. The New Hampshire Secretary of State's office was flooded with hundreds of calls Monday from Donald Trump supporters seeking reassurance that the former president is going to be on the ballot next year after conservative talk show host Charlie Kirk falsely told his listeners the state is trying to sideline Trump. The secretary of state will get to the false part of it because they're lying about me. They're lying about you. But whatever. Here's the win. The win is that we forced a comment from them. In fact, the win is that you guys were so overwhelming in your communique that NBC obviously was leaked this story from the secretary of state's office because the secretary of state was trying to play victim because they could not turn their phone on yesterday because of the overwhelming amount of communication that you guys issued. Remember, we told you to be polite. We told you to be clear and be factual. Secretary of State David Scanlon told NBC News, quote, This is the kicker. They are now on record. They are not seeking to remove any names from the presidential primary ballot. And I have not said that I'm seeking to remove any names from the presidential primary ballot. Now, interestingly enough, he's acting like, well, I don't know where where this is. Breitbart.com. They back down. He backs down. But did we just make this up? NBC News acts as if I woke up and I made this whole thing up that I said, you know what would be a good day? This is how dishonest NBC News is. By the way, Emma Barnett at NBC News doesn't reach out to us, doesn't ask for comment. She just writes this article. It says if I woke up on Monday morning and I said, I know I'm going to spend our valuable time together, have you contact David Scanlon, the New Hampshire secretary of state, as if I came up with it next Nihilo out of nothing, as I just kind of grabbed it out of the sky. I said, why did we do this? Do we make it up? No, of course not. This is why the article actually confirms that it wasn't falsely that Bryant Quickie Corkie Messner, a Republican whom Trump endorsed, met with Scanlon on Friday. So it wasn't falsely. Messner made a presentation to the secretary of state about why he thinks that Donald Trump should not be on the ballot. Scanlon said, quote, I listened just as I would listen to anybody that wants to come in with issues related to any candidate's qualifications, one way or the other. So he was entertaining, kicking Trump off the ballot. And I said on the show and you guys listen, we're not going to put up with this. We are going to preempt this aggressively. We're going to shine a light on these cockroaches, as it says in Ephesians. We are going to shine a light on their deeds of darkness and deceit. The time for pad cake and footsie with the enemy is over. You see, the old Republican way of doing things said, wow, they're having meetings. I hope that doesn't materialize. We're not going to do that anymore. You, the grassroots, spoke up and then they come out and they say, whoa, whoa, whoa, because they backed off Breitbart.com. New Hampshire Secretary of State backs down, not seeking to remove the ballot after Charlie Kirk and his supporters called Scanlon's office. Following reports, Scanlon was waiting to use the 14th Amendment to keep Trump off the ballot. What is the significance of this? This is a scalable playbook. Anytime we hear these whispers or these rumors, if they are not preempted, if they are not suffocated at the incubation phase, they metastasize, they grow. You have to pre-bunk these things. The RNC war room should have handled this, but there is no RNC war room. Instead, you guys handled it. The article goes on to say that this is all just rumors, that Donald Trump will be on the ballot. Fine. Now NBC News is coming out and they're saying what we wanted. We got clarity and we got the record set straight. That quickie-corkie messner who's coming out with this fringe legal theory being a proxy of David French and the New York Times and the Atlantic is D.O.A., dead on arrival. But they do say here in the article that there might be some legal challenges to Trump's qualification to run in the state under the 14th Amendment Constitution, which says no person can hold public office who was, quote, engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States. NBC is just hedging a little bit there, like, oh, well, you know, there might be some stuff. No, no, no, we're not going to put up with it. This is an all out assault on the promise of consent to the governed, on representative government, that we and the Republican Party, as dysfunctional and damaged and weak and feckless as the Republican Party is, we still get to pick our candidate. Thank you very much. Like, don't get in the way of our candidate selection process. We get to choose who gets our delegates. Get out of the way. Secretary of State, get out of the way. Atlantic, get out of the way. David French. The people are still going to be in charge of the Republican Party. You want to deal in superdelegates and backroom deals and smoke filled rooms and treachery and deceit. That's the Democrat Party. Just wait to see how they treat RFK Jr., where they're going to do all sorts of different games, all sorts of different types of very suspicious activity, the same way they did with Bernie Sanders. The Republican Party is a disaster, but at least we still have people that choose our nominee. That's a good thing. At least we have the people who choose our nominee. This is a win. So now they're on the record. And this is exact. See, the media has the great Rush Limbaugh. May he rest in peace. He taught me this. He taught us this every day.

Media Finally Picks up on Dems' 14th Amendment Legal Theory

"Repeatedly. it Other conservative friends of mine never picked it up even though I talked about it repeatedly and now apparently it's drawn their attention. Thank you for your time. This movement has been afoot for over a year. I got wind of it. I've told you about it. I've received several letters lately urging him to take action. Scanlan a Republican said he's listening and will seek legal advice ensure to that his team thoroughly understands the arguments at play. I have some in -house staff is there election experts isn't about election experts is about constitutional experts and it's about serious constitutional experts who understand that this is nonsense. Here in New Hampshire the GOP's 2020 nominee for the first congressional district attorney Brian Corky Messner said in a radio interview that he read about the legal theory and is now thinking about suing to ensure Scanlan enforces the Constitution against Trump. So here you have RINO establishment Republicans. You have never Trumpers grabbing them at one of the most insane it's about the Constitution to prevent Donald Trump from being on the ballot in New Hampshire. "We get it. You're busy. You don't have time to waste on the mainstream media. That's why Salem News Channel is here. We have hosts worth watching, actually discussing the topics that matter. Watch any time on any screen for free 24 -7 at snc .tv and on local now channel 525. at preggertopia .com I'm not going to say that George Strait automatically means that I'm here, but it's a good signal. Mark Davis in for Dennis. A certain Texas twang coming from George, if not from me, but a certain Texas flavor when I am here and it is always a joy to be here. Mark Davis from 660 AM, the answer where I am the happy morning host. And boy, was I happy to be here this morning. Happy being a relative term. It was demanding for everybody because I'm here in central time talking to the West Coast crew out there in Pragerland where everybody was working really late between radio and the Salem News Channel. Just fantastic coverage last night, post debate, all kinds of opinions flying thick and fast. So I'm just really enormously pleased to be here in one of my frequent fill -ins. It's always a joy to be here for Dennis. And you can follow me on Twitter or X or Guacamole or whatever they're calling that thing these days, at Mark Davis, M -A -R -K Davis. And the best way to get ahold of us, of course, is the phone lines that are used in the show every day. 1 -8 -Praeger -776, 1 -8 -Praeger -776. Again, I'm Mark Davis here in the big bustling DFW. And wherever you are, I have some things I need to know from you. You ready? And what I'm gonna do is put some of it in question form. Most of my obvious offering is to get your thoughts and ask the blanket question. What did you think of the two big things that you could see last night? One of them was the debate on a stage in Milwaukee. And the other one was seen by perhaps 10 times more people. I mean, are we at 200 million? At some point, everyone in America, if not around the world, will have seen Trump on Tucker. And we'll talk a little bit about whether it was smart for Trump to do Tucker instead of the debate. It certainly wasn't dumb, it certainly didn't hurt him. Because after all, as we've learned by now, nothing hurts him, at least not yet. And by the way, every candidate on the stage last night, every candidate on the stage last night, dreams of having a bump, having a boost like Trump will get today from another arraignment. This time under the aggressive thumb of Fannie Willis in Fulton County in Atlanta, Georgia. He will turn himself in at some point and you will then almost be able to palpably sense the fundraising boost, the poll boost. Here is the truth of the Trump poll numbers. There's something we know, but there's something numerical we don't know. Again, one eight Prager 776, one eight Prager 776. Talk about Trump's decision not to be on that debate stage. And then we'll talk about everybody that was on that debate stage. Cuz it was a fascinating night for Vivek, a so -so night for DeSantis. A really good night for Tim Scott, a surprisingly, momentarily at least interesting night for Mike Pence. Nikki Haley did great, but did she get enough Mike time? Chris Christie, that New Jersey bully boy thing, that just gets really old, really fast. And Doug Burgum and Asa Hutchinson were there as well, which is about the old, I got nothing bad to say about these guys. I've got nothing bad to say about these guys. Hutchinson was an okay governor of Arkansas, really needs to be awakened on some of the gender clarity necessities. Doug Burgum seems like a wonderful guy, and what a tough nut, keyword nut. Who plays basketball the night before a debate? Who does something that has even a remote injury risk? My colleague Mike Gallagher and I were talking, and he said, if I'm on the debate stage the following day, I'm putting myself in lockdown. I'm gonna be in bed, in some type of pneumatic bubble. Nothing will get to me, but so that I don't rip open my Achilles tendon. Which he did, so he had to crutch himself onto the stage. And I don't wanna be cynical enough to say that this strikes me as debate theater and that it was faked. I don't believe that, I don't wanna be that guy, I don't wanna be that cynical, but I will be this judgmental. How dumb is it to do something the night before a debate that can hurt you? So of course, I know driving on the highway can hurt you and da, da, da, da. So I have all kinds of hot takes on how I think everybody did. I'm gonna frame it in terms of what I expected versus how they did. And then we'll talk about what I expected from Trump on Tucker. I expected it to be stratospherically good, and it was. So we have specific Trump on Tucker observations, and we have specific debate participation observations. And it all takes place against this glorious, fascinating backdrop of late August, 2024. Here we are, we are still September, October, November. So we're still four and a half months before anybody votes for anything. Change is still possible, but how plausible is it? How many times have you heard people say, yeah, in this particular year, by this point, Newt Gingrich was in the lead? Yeah, in this particular year, Rudy Giuliani was in the lead. Well, guess what was not going on when Newt, obviously, neither gentleman ever became president or ever will, it seems, for multiple reasons. There was no Trump, nobody had a 50 point lead. It was just wide open, it was five or six or eight or 10 or 14 or 17 people all running now. Trump is the alpha dog, the king of the hill. There is nothing that has dented his support yet. I will tell you the one thing, I wouldn't even say might, I'd say the only thing that can, the only thing that can, and I'll do that here in a second. In fact, probably got to get to that first. 18 Prager 776, 18 Prager 776. And again, my name, Mark Davis, follow me on Twitter, X, whatever you want to call it. I can't say X, it's Twitter to me, I don't know, I'm an old fart, what can I say? At Mark Davis, and I'll take a look at those during the break. But the best way to get ahold of us, of course, with your thoughts, 776. 18 Prager Okay, I do have a fresh column in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, I'm proud to write for the Star Telegram and the McClatchy newspaper chain and Newsweek and Town Hall, but the thing I did an immediate, I pretty well do mean immediate, turnaround reaction column for was the Star Telegram. So if you go to star -telegram .com and look at opinions, find me, Mark Davis, there is my column that talks about how Vivek and Pence and Tim Scott helped themselves. I mean, the only people who did, but they did. But the enduring question, the enduring question is, can anybody catch Trump? Is that even possible? So if we start with the premise that they say anything is possible, not anything, okay? Asa Hutchinson, Doug Burgum, or Will Hurd winning the nomination is as close to not possible as the English language permits, okay? But let's just say that in these turbulent times, where almost everything seems volatile, it was volatility that kind of lofted Trump in 2016. There were a lot of frustrations, there he was, he seemed anti -establishment, he caught the wind of that in the sales of so many Americans. The timing was just, it was perfect for Trump. Now, eight years, next month, wow, he and Melania came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower. In a way, it seems like yesterday, in a way, it seems like 100 years ago. But anyway, everybody knows him now. And the love for him and hatred of him are both baked in so solid, so two things are true at the same time. With Trump as the nominee, you're going to get two things, guaranteed two things. The love for him and the devotion to him and the desire to flip a huge middle finger to the establishment that now pursues and persecutes him, that will be on fire with energy. The other thing that's gonna be on fire with energy, every Democrat, Biden could be actually dead and on the ticket, and Democrats will crawl on broken glass and walk through fire to deliver another loss to Trump. So that will be in furious force. So which of those forces, which of those phenomena is greater? I don't know, and neither do you. Are there risks to making Trump your nominee? There sure are. But are there risks that a whole lot of people seem totally willing to take? Yes, indeedy. So what is the one thing that might erode Trump support? And I'm not saying it will, but it's the only thing that can. I'll tell you next, and take your calls next, 1 -8 Prager 776. Mark Davison for Dennis. The Dennis Prager Show. Gold dealers are a dime a dozen. They're everywhere. What sets these companies apart, and whom can you really trust? This is Dennis Prager for AmFed Coin and Bullion, my choice for buying precious metals. When you buy precious metals, it's imperative that you buy from a trustworthy and transparent dealer that protects your best interests. So many companies use gimmicks to take advantage of inexperienced gold and silver buyers. Be cautious of brokers offering free gold and silver, or brokers that want to sell you overpriced collectible coins, claiming they appreciate more than gold and silver. What about hidden commissions and huge markups? Nick Grovitch and his team at AmFed always have your back. I trust this man, that's why I mentioned him by name. Nick's been in this industry over 42 years, and he's proud of providing transparency and fair pricing to build trusted relationships. If you're interested in buying or selling, call Nick Grovitch and his team at AmFed Coin and Bullion, 800 -221 -7694, americanfederal .com, americanfederal .com. So, whether you are watching, or listening, or both, we appreciate it. Mark Davison for Dennis here on Debate Night. I was gonna say morning after, depending on your time zone, the day after, what do we think? I'm gonna take some calls here and sort of intermingle my specific thoughts about how each candidate did. And of course, you know what the short part is, how Trump did with Tucker? Simply superb. It was just vintage Trump for 47 minutes and it was awesome. It was just a reminder of how great he is and why everybody wants him back, or nearly everybody wants him back. I will tell you, not to be a curmudgeon about this, but I still think he should have been on the debate stage. I totally understand his logic. Why should I? They're 50 points behind me. I don't need to show up for this. I totally get it. He's right about that. It did not hurt him to not be there, but it was a missed opportunity. There are millions of people for whom the last 10 times they heard Trump talk, it was all about Jack Smith, and Fannie Willis, and Alvin Bragg, and this persecution, and that lawsuit, and this vendetta, and that witch hunt, all of which is true. But it can be fatiguing to some folks who are not a junkie for this. And this would have been an opportunity for Trump with a bunch of rivals, and a bunch of pretenders to be sure, and a bunch of people at 0 .5%, and I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. But it would have been him talking about borders. It would have been him talking about crime. It would have been him talking about climate, which by the way, he did with Tucker, but he could have done that too. Not to get greedy, but why not do the debate and then sit down with Tucker tonight? Wouldn't that have worked? So yeah, but it was a statement. I understand it was a statement. It was a positioning statement that says, I don't even need to be on that stage as they all run for who's going to be the last person left when there are two candidates left standing. That is, by the way, what last night's debate was about. It's what the entire campaign is about for everybody not named Trump. At some point in the spring, there'll be two candidates left. One of them will be named Donald Trump, and the other one will not. And everybody wants to be that other person. And forever it looked obvious that it was going to be DeSantis. It doesn't look that way so much right now. Now it could really be the vague. Will that sustain? Is this kind of a flash in the summer pan? I don't know. Your thoughts are welcome. 18 Prager 776. As I get ready to go to the phones, here's the thing. Everybody, I get asked this all the time. Is there anything that could change the calculus? Anything where Trump just doesn't have that 50 point lead anymore? Because while we're talking math, here's what's undeniably true. Trump can win the nomination, can breeze to the nomination without poaching one single supporter from anybody on that stage last night. Obviously, he could do it tomorrow. DeSantis, just to pick somebody or the vague, let's go with DeSantis for the moment. He needs to poach half of the Trump poll numbers. He's got to go get half of those people. Half of the people saying we want Trump, half of the 50 some percent, if not more, who say we want Trump, who say that now in August, have to stop saying that by the time people are really voting in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, and Nevada, etc, etc. So what is the one way that happens? And this is a half court shot, maybe a full court shot. And that is that some of the poll emotions right now, some of it, most of it is we want this guy to be president. We loved him then, we love him now, we want this guy to be president. You know, the usual earth logic that people use in expressing support for a candidate. But some of it, and it'll have to be a lot of it. And I don't know that it is. But certain x percentage of it has to be folks who may or may not require Trump to be their next president. But they are furious at what's being done to him. It is a show of support. I mean, why do you think the poll numbers will go up after he is arraigned today in Atlanta? Is it because a bunch of people will just look at issues around America and decide, oh, he is my guy? Some may, but most of the poll bursts and the fundraising bursts that happen after each continuing litany of indictments is people saying, oh, hell no. It's what I call the Jason Whitlock effect. Jason Whitlock is the wonderful broadcaster, blogger, who was on the Tucker one, I think might have been after the first indictment or the second one, I lose track. Jason Whitlock was on with Tucker when Tucker was on Fox and said, I don't even know what I think about Trump. I'm halfway with him, halfway not. I like some of what he does, some of it not. I don't know. But tonight I'm hardcore MAGA. Tucker, tonight I am hardcore MAGA, Jason Whitlock said. And it was as a statement of revulsion at what was being done to him. Now, if that's a bunch of Trump support, cuz here it is in one nutshell. By the time we get to, we go through Christmas, we go through the holidays, everybody digests their holiday meals. And then we all get rolling in January of 2024. And millions of Republicans go, whoa, okay, now it's what's always been serious. But now it's time, time with a capital T. It's not about whether we don't like Jack Smith or whether we think 2020 was rigged or whether we're just not about anything else. Other than it's about one thing, one thing, who beats Biden? Who gives us the best chance of beating Biden? And if the similar numbers of people who think so today think that that's Trump, and by the way, it may well be, then nothing will change. All these campaigns, all the DeSantis's, all the Viv Hanks, all the everybody's, I don't wanna say it'll be for naught, but it will not bear fruit. It will not bear fruit. If, however, and it's funny because right now we got the sort of the fresh angst, the renewed emotion and determination of what will happen after Trump is dragged before yet another tribunal for yet another non -crime. And we can talk about this some today if you want. There's really only one thing out of every single one of these stupid persecution prosecutions, all these indictments, all these things. Really, they only got him on one thing. There's one thing that he just really should have done differently. And that's the handling of those stupid documents. Give back the stupid documents. If you do that, then that's not even a problem. But all this election related stuff is insane. He thinks he got screwed. And guess what? So do I. Guess what? So do most of you. We don't get to believe that. And if we're him, we don't get to act on that and make phone calls and secure meeting space and tweet to somebody to watch a TV show, all of which has been criminalized by these lunatic prosecutors. But in January of 2024, it's not gonna be about that anymore. No matter how we feel about that. No matter how we feel and no matter how resentful we are of that and how much we wanna stick with him. And I mean, in that regard, if millions of people say, God bless you, sir, God bless you, we love your presidency. We want those policies back, but the damage seems to have been done.

"And you came on, it was the best half hour of China talk I have heard in a long time. And then I realized I got to get you on a regular basis. Would you tell people your background and why you are a specialist on G and the CCP at this stage in your career? Sure. Well, thanks very much. I've been in the business of national security and foreign policy pretty much since graduated from college. I started out in 2002. I worked for a few years, particularly in the kind of intelligence reform business I served briefly as a civilian in Iraq. I then went to law school, but pretty quickly figured out I wasn't going to be a lawyer, my main legal advice is don't take legal advice from me. So I increasingly got interested in the issues of deterrence and strategy, which I've been interested in from my time as a kind of junior guy in the government around the time of the Iraq War in Afghanistan and so forth. But increasingly got interested, I served on the congressional commission on the strategic posture of the U.S. as a staffer part time sort of got into the nuclear business more. And then I sort of briefly in The Pentagon on the new start negotiations, the arms control negotiation, different era. But then increasing move to think tanks and increasingly got more and more interested in strategy. But the way I approach China hue is really from the lens of strategy. I mean, strategy sounds a little grandiose. But I mean, looking at it from the perspective of geopolitics and the national interest, which I don't think is the only, it shouldn't be the only way to look at it. But I do think it's the most fundamental way to look at it. So I really look at China through the prism of our interests. I started working more and more on about ten, 12 years ago. And I've just become increasingly concerned. And that was already the case by the time I got it was honored and fortunate to be tapped under secretary Mattis to work as his basically the strategy lead for the national defense strategy under the Trump administration that came out in 2018 that tried to, well, it did pivot us, how successful is another question in terms of implementation. But I did that. And then I left The Pentagon after about a year after that strategy was finished. And then I wrote a book really kind of trying to make the case. I think of it as almost like a platonic version. The NDS is a bureaucratic document. You've worked in government. You know the story. So my book, the strategy of denial is really trying to make the case. And now I'm still hammering those points because people sometimes ask me if I'm working on a new book and I say no because the issues are so here and now. We were sent in the window of vulnerability. I'm not saying that China is going to invade Taiwan tomorrow, although it's not impossible, but in terms of the levers that we have to pull, they're all right now, if not yesterday. And so I'm just very concerned about pressing the message and generating the kind of urgency here that you are as well. To get people to prepare for a war to deter it. I mean, I really desperately don't want to have a war once a war starts. We don't know how it's going to go, even if we win it, it's going to have all kinds of unforeseen terrible consequences. So the best thing though is peace through strength as you always point out and go back to Reagan administration. That's what we want, but we're really not doing that enough..

"And they can do as many takes as they need to get a video correct. Now I got a question for you, Jake. If he bows out late. If he pulls a Johnson because Bobby Kennedy junior gets 30% in New Hampshire. If he goes, LBJ, who steps in immediately. I have my answer. Who do you think? Who do they go to immediately? No, who steps in? Who steps in? Now Kamala Harris will obviously step in, but I don't think she's the only one. I don't have a I mean, I tend to think because I'm not a romantic, but I think that there are governors around people like Roy Cooper, North Carolina, Pete boot, I mean, maybe Pete Buttigieg. I don't know who do you think? Gavin Newsom, and he wins. Yeah, that's probably right. He wins. He's got the most money. He's got the most media markets against all of California. He gets New York. I mean, he just steps in, he might even call up whoever the governor of New York is I can't remember her name right now and ask her to be running mate. Yeah. And so you got the two big blue states and boom. There you go. So Jake, let me close by asking you about. I didn't see it in the punch bowl, but it's not your beat. 51 former intelligence officials are revealed to have been cat's paws for team Biden in 2020. Big scandal, house Intel house, judiciary have released that Mike morel is in hot water, Tony blinken said it off. It's another Steele dossier. Big story outside of conservative media. It's not been. I mean, I didn't know it. But I haven't paid a ton of attention to it because as you said, it's a little bit outside of our area of expertise. But I don't think it's, it didn't strike me as that strange that former intelligence officials were making statements on behalf of the Biden administration when they were presumably supportive of the pipe administration. But all that said, I know it's getting a lot of buzz on the right. I think it's going to break out. Now, my last question is about Twitter. I have paid the money because a, I wanted to go longer occasionally, like I did last night, diving into New Hampshire. The election is back to 1976. B, I got to edit and see, I don't want to have anyone appropriate my intellectual property in my name or D fake anybody out. You did too. I do not understand. I did not, I did not pay just to be clear. What happens is punchable news is account is verified by dint of being an organization, which we don't pay for. That's just something that Twitter does. And they give you 5 people that you could associate with the account for free. So I do not, okay, I'm glad you got it for free. I didn't know that. Maybe I could have gotten it for free because you Hewitt dot com is an organization. But I didn't. I paid for it. And I am just genuinely curious. All these blue checkers who are making a virtue signal by saying I didn't pay for it. I won't pay for it. Don't they support subscriptions? I mean, I have like ten subscriptions because I believe in the news business. Twitter's got to make money too, and these are the same people who decry the decline of local news because local news can't afford to have their subscription levels are going to be low. I don't get it, Jake. I really don't. I'll tell you what I think is legitimate, to be honest with you. And I do get it a little bit. I think that people think that there are two things going on. Number one, he's let back on some pretty gross people who have pretty gross opinions and are expressing it on the website. That's number one. Number two, people are saying, well, if the service has gone downhill this much, why would I pay for it? I mean, listen, if I didn't get it for free, would I pay for it? What is it a hundred bucks a year or something like that? 95 bucks a year. I probably would. But I understand the hesitation to supporting it. I think it's not as great of a service as it was before, but the idea that we could all just get off Twitter. I mean, you use it for your job. I use it for my job, even just for monitoring news. You know what I mean? And I do not want people to be misled as has happened all week. By people who decline to pay their 8 bucks a month. All week long, fake accounts, and I won't follow anyone. Everyone I followed before because they were all blue checks, but it's a news service. That's what it is for me. It's just a sports service as well. By the way, you think the Cavs can come back from a three one deficit against the next shake? I hope not go licks. Yeah, man. Oh, I shouldn't have let you say that. That's a curse on the Knicks. "Of the Hugh Hewitt show. Back in the beltway. I'm back as Congress is back. I'm going to be talking with halena zito Jake Sherman and Josh kros about the debt limit crisis coming up and then Colby bridge Colby is joining me to talk about China. You know, shiv is trending on Twitter. I'm not going to look because I didn't watch Succession last night. I bet she misses you and I had a lot of the family over for dinner because we're back in the beltway. Not Genghis cape. So no one swung from the chandelier, Nell banished her trips, nothing like that. So it was a very quiet dinner, our sweet. 11 month old baby, the one who doesn't do anything except smile and eat. She was there, but not Genghis Kate. Genghis Kate and she get along like thieves because Genghis Kate sees in her future apostle. And so got a three year. But everything was quiet last night. And we had a wonderful time. I didn't watch Succession. I see shed. And I don't know who plays chef, but I was thinking, not long ago, I flew with Tom Wilson. Now, some of you will know who Tom Wilson is. And all of you will know who Tom Wilson is, once I tell you the role, he played many roles, fine actor, but Tom Wilson, it's just remarkably friendly guy, and he was a row ahead of me and we chatted coming and getting off the plane. And Tom Wilson was biff tannen in Back to the Future. All right, so that's what lots of people say, Beth. Is older than biff now by about 40 years. But you can still see it's 5th tannin. Shiv is going to be like that. All right, everyone in succession is never going to escape those roles. And I know that it's like Game of Thrones. Wasn't he? You know, John snow and Game of Thrones. Yes, yes, yes. Wasn't he Gandalf? Yes, yes, yes. It's just what happened. I'm not sure it's great for an actor. It's wonderful when you trend every week if you're an actress, actor. If you're trending every week for 5 years and then you fall off a cliff because you can't be casting anything because you're always shiv. It just interesting to me. I am going up early this year to studio north. I'm at studio beltway for a while. Only because, as I said in the opening, the stations up there, I have great station WGN in Maine is my big mega station 5 60 a.m. and 98.5 FM. And it covers all of northern New Hampshire and then I can get down to Keene or Manchester pretty quickly. And Manchester is 1370 and 99.9 keen is wkbk, 94.1 and 1290. I cover all of New Hampshire and everybody you want to New Hampshire. And it's going to be wild. It's going to be fun. Today's grand old pod. I've got so much tape. I'm just going to wait for the grand old pot. I've got former president Trump former vice president Pence. I've got governor sununu and governor desantis. I've got senator Scott. I've got mister Rama Swami. I don't know Nikki Haley. Evidently, no news over the weekend. But I've got everybody else, but that too much to do some and not all, so I'm going to do it on the grand old pod today. I hope you remember the universe and I hope you can text me if you remember the universe. We have established texting at the universe and I will read it and I will respond. I'll push out my first poll because the thousands of people who subscribe to the universe are a good sample for me of what this show believes and thinks. So I'm going to pull the presidential race and things like that. But I want to finish the editorial from The Wall Street Journal about the gang of 51, organized by Mike morrell at the request of the Biden campaign to discredit Hunter Biden laptop story in the New York Post successfully. All this took place shortly the Wall Street general reports before the final presidential debate and mister Biden pointed to the gang at 51 statement that his campaign helped to generate proof that the hunter laptop was phony. Quote, look, there are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that this president Trump is accusing me as a Russian plant. They have said that this is all the characteristic four or 5 former heads of the CIA, both parties, they say, what he's saying is a bunch of garbage. Joe Biden said that in the debate. It was not true. And he knew it wasn't true. He lied to you because he maybe his campaign didn't tell him maybe he forgot that consistent with his behavior. Mister morell told the committee that the following the debate, Biden campaign share, and now senior White House aides, Steve Rossi, called to thank him for the statement. No doubt. The journal adds the Biden campaign had in essence generated its own disinformation. Marshaling the authority of supposedly non partisan intelligence veterans to discredit his story that was accurate about the laptop emails that were authentic. The committees are seeking more information from mister blinken about the Biden campaign's role, and the public deserves answers. Statement signers, like former Obama director of national intelligence, James clapper, also former guest on this show, have since admitted they had no evidence to make their disinformation claims and mister clapper claims the media distorted their views. No. The journal ads, the press did precisely with mister blinken and the 51 spooks wanted. Use their letter to discredit the hunter laptop and the information on it, the raised questions about the Biden family business with foreigners. Last paragraph in the crucial one. Tim Graham over at news busters is quoted this. Intelligence officials, former as well as current, have a particular duty not to spread disinformation because they have access to classified information that the public can't check. The press overwhelmingly went along with the false Biden campaign claims because it wanted mister Biden to win. These 51 officials had done more damage to the credibility of the CIA and the FBI than anything Donald Trump has said..

We're not having elections. Were having sales right. It's it's it's whoever has the most wins. And if you and money is not just the nectar. It's the blood that runs the whole body. And it's one of my big concerns. This time around with the number of candidates is that we're splitting up the pot. And i think we need to now. You know here in new hampshire while some folks are just starting to tune into this election. we've been at it for a full year and it's time to narrow the field because Until there is real campaign finance reform which there needs to be until there is real public of campaigns which there needs to be We cannot be in this thing with one hand tied behind our back. We've got to concentrate dollars. I am not troubled by bloomberg at all in contrast to some of the answers last night on the stage It's a matter of fact. I think he's a national hero now. He's not my choice for president but the incumbent raised twenty five million dollars yesterday yesterday on friday one day. The incumbent has over seven hundred. Million dollars ma'am memon has chosen its candidate. Yeah i mean it's it's you know This is Should come as no surprise since. That's what his his administration is all about. I mean i spent a lot of time at the. Usda and the epa and it's just lobbyists. I mean it's not former lobbies. The science scientists have been locked away. I have scientists friends there who are fearful about speaking truth so we have a problem here big problem but right now we have to put those solutions to that problem aside because we got to win is they said. I the main reason that i label. I chaired the camp national campaign label. Gmo's is not necessarily opposed to gmo's. Although i have a lot of questions it's because most genetically engineered Organisms have been developed to make crops urbicide resistant resistant to Probably if not definitely carcinogenic herbicides At this moment right now during a growing season a ninety the us geological survey says ninety to one hundred percent of the rainfall in farm state. It contains one of three probably carcinogenic herbicides. Because there's so much urbicide tolerant crops out there genetically engineered to be herbicides tolerant that these crops are neighboring much requiring much greater use of these chemicals so whatever canary in the coal mine Role they might have served before. Yeah now over over and So you know we you can find this stuff in the cord blood of infants at birth now and that can't be good and so Yesterday no i'm sorry. Two days ago the epa declared glyphosate. One of which you and i would know his roundup one of the three most pernicious and pervasive in the most used. Agrochemical in history declared not carcinogenic. Even though the european union has declared to be a probable carcinogen and the world health organization has declared you say even though but it's probably exactly because exactly because android and this is just symbolic of. I mean there's no science going on here. It is just you know. Sort of a business plan. So or if i could put it more bluntly it's a corporate coup. So yes you're right. I do believe in conscious capitalism. And i do believe that money is not necessarily the source of all evil if used properly in stoney field. Now i started to say earlier. My childhood growing up in watching this devastating effect that a failed industry had on our communities really informed my own evolution. I in fact after the businesses went under to business. I thought business the worst thing on earth. I went off to college to study. Ecology and climate change. This is the early seventies. i had no intention of going into business. I thought it was just the source of all evil but through a series of events particularly i. I wound up running an ecological research institute and when ronald reagan came and slashed funding at the usda for anything to do with organic and anything at the us department of energy to do with renewable energy. We were suddenly out of money. My part i was the trustee of a little organic farming school with partner made this absolutely incredible yogurt. He would with his one cow he would serve to our board members and i realized son of a gun We're going to need to come up with their own. Means of self support because federal money's gone and so we started to sell the yogurt to a fund. Our our our dreams here so this is you would graduated with a degree in environmental science. It right and had gone gone into sort of educating on environment. That's right and this is literally the stuff you would drink or at board meeting. Yeah well. I eat steps. Samuels are brilliant genius founder. The real creator. The recipe had this cream on top yogurt. That was like ambrosia and when you ran out of it you sorta cried. I mean it was absolutely amazing. Exquisite stuff from our own one jersey cow and eventually he got up. We got it up to seven cows and the one thousand nine cows. But i'm getting ahead of myself. The point is we you know. The mission of the company was to be a model that business and commerce could advance the good could be climate conscious and responsible could be could avoid the unnecessary use of toxins could promote animal welfare and farmer welfare and consumer.

"New hampshire university arena in downtown manchester. The last time. I had been in that arena. It was a very different night. It was trump's final rally before the gop primary back in two thousand sixteen. I roamed the floor incognito as possible but the media who did not have that luxury were pending far from the stage and constantly berated by the public and heckled by trump. It was blood in the nostril madness that night of very ill night electric and angry and just the memory of it brings me now. A flood of relief. We're all in biden. London now grappling of course with the limits of centrism and there are many. But it's still worth it from the site of trump's vicious climb to remember that there are far worse places than the middle of the road. Few people have fought harder for that progressive center than this episode guest. Gary hershberg who was an early and key supporter of barack obama's first primary here. Gary was for mayor. Pete in the two thousand twenty primary which isn't really the point of this interview but he does vibe with his biography as chairman of stony field farm. He turned organic yogurt of all things into a mega business. Long before that's impossible and in the process became a legend in the organic food movement. We spoke with a couple of days before the primary over an early morning. Spread of probiotic shooters and finished style. Oath gert other hits for the progressive power. This is making thornburgh and from roads and kingdoms. You're listening to the trip drinking with exceptional people around the world so speaking of democrats have got a house. That's just loaded with them right now. Who's who's upstairs has the The under thirty year olds who run the buddha judge finance pain. But we've got media people here and politicos and so forth the first bats left about two hours ago so they're already out pounding the pavement and really the worker. Bees are now. This is the shift that was up until two. Am doing because of course. They're operating in multiple time zones. We're we're on the eve of the new hampshire primary but that also means on the eve of going completely national right. We you know super tuesday around the corner. Yes they need to be both here in the deep woods and and then also figuring out what's happening in south carolina and yon california and it's all compressed this year right. I mean in ninety days. Ninety percent of the delegates will be chosen Sprint now why pete. What's tell me. tell me why. It's a his guys upstairs. and not. not her geyser. Someone else's well it i will. I would kill any of them. But you know i'm sixty five years old and i heard howard dean recently. Say i'll never again but for anyone older than me and i'm kind of in that same camp. I mean this is. We're leaving this mess to your kids and mine. And i think it's time not just for generational switch in terms of college age. It's time for generational shift in terms of how we do politics. We're excessively partisan and obviously it's gotten worse with this guy who's who's who's really a divider a not a not a uniter at in the white house but fair but But i mean by that is. What really impressed me about pete to get back to your question is i went to southbound I recognized southbound because as a child here in new hampshire i. i'm third generation manufacturer here. My grandfather and father ran shoe factories around the state in towns that look a lot like southbound lakonia new market pittsfield manchester All these mill towns that in my very youngest years i enjoyed the boom of the thriving in our whole economy to the thriving industry but by the time i was in my early teens that industry was in a freefall collapsed because of cheap labor overseas and while our family through suffering the business. We lost the business. There was alcohol and divorce. And lots of those when you were in your teens. When you're twenty. I no this. We lost the factory when i was twelve years old. Jesus so this is a very defining kind of calamity for you. Yeah well also informed stoney field. How we built studying phil. I'll get to in a moment but But what. I what was even more memorable for me was watching the collapse of these communities. Mean little pittsfield new hampshire down. The road here had a thriving downtown with pharmacy. I mean i used to sit there and read. My twelfth sent a superman comics while my father was moving crates of shoes next door and all those jobs left the veterinarian. Went out the dentist out the plumbers when everybody lost their livelihoods and and so the the the the problems we're having our family were endemic everywhere. And that's just what happened with studebaker. In south bend. And when i got to south bend. It was eerie to see the. It was haunting for me to see exactly what had happened and it happened that Last summer was also the marrow race for pete's replacement so i wandered around and listened and listened to voters but also got to hear. Some of the candidates bone the one who won his successor And designate but also the republican and I got to witness firsthand. What i saw here new hampshire. Which is that the way that these communities came back after being hollowed out was not because of democrats or republicans it was because of civic minded people like i said back in my childhood. Wasn't that big a difference. Between the republicans and democrats it's public private partnerships it was people reaching was entrepreneurial thinking it was reaching into the community for ideas and then enabling and supporting and pulling together in a way that pete authentically did. I mean i'd heard all this right and the podcast but to see first hand and even the republican candidate running was honoring and acknowledging. Pete success with doing that. And so that's what we're talking about. A generational shift is that we need to get back to those. The days. when politics wasn't about dividing it was about Uniting it was about competing with who had the best ideas and you know. Pete really symbolizes me. You had Talked about Tom steiner being friend of yours. I was thinking. I think he had a good night last night. We're to date this recording it after friday. It's the last big democratic debate before the primary And he. I saw somewhere on twitter. Somebody said you know. I'm still offer eating the rich. I'm just gonna eat tom last. You know he's.

"Novak will find him. He'll turn up in just a second. So, uh, Governor Cuomo bankrupts the entire state. It's a disaster. Biggest crime spike in history. Uh, garbage, not getting picked up. Streets are a mess. If you're in New York, you see how bad it is under Cuomo. Restaurants closed a total disaster. The nursing home disaster highest death rate of any state has just been awful. The state is now totally bankrupt. I think we all about 30 billion, but he claims he needs 15 billion just to get through this year. Everybody's leaving. More people have left New York than any other state. Total disaster. Hey, does great briefings, but that's it. It's just a guy who does briefings. Get somebody else to be governor. Let him do the briefings. So how do we get out of this mess? What's gonna happen? Finally on CNBC this morning, Sununu of New Hampshire took on Cuomo and just told the country how How much for nightmare? This guy is. Will we ever Ever get through to him that you know, even if you don't know what you're doing again, the briefings air. Great. You do the briefings and bring in some people to run the state. You know, you can't remember the garbage has been piling up all over you remember two months ago. In one of the briefings, he said. This is we can't have this. This is unacceptable if the Blasio doesn't start picking up the garbage I will a couple months ago, and he never did a thing about it. But anyway, let's turn to one of the smartest guys around. Jake Novak, who's a brilliant columnist. You can read him at CNBC dot com. And, of course up, sign up for his daily newsletter Jake Novak news dot com. You got a daily briefing. Follow him on Twitter. Jake, Jake and why it Twitter. Jake Novak. How you doing? I'm doing Okay. So far. It's been a crazy couple of days. But you know, you saw something interesting. The markets rallying yesterday because so many big investors. Well, you know, so many big investors who should know better were convinced that there really would be a lot of violence. At the inauguration yesterday. And so a lot of them took some money off the table just for a few days to see what was gonna happen. They put it in things like Bitcoin and other things like that, And then, when it didn't happen yesterday, they bought the stocks. And that's why Bitcoin is down. You know that zoom anything when you see people who really should know better putting their money in a funny place, and that's what happened yesterday. You're so smart you can analyze and we've been trying to deal with this question All day. The liberals. The Democrats had a very smart, highly educated, smartest people. I know why did they fall for a speech? Like Biden's words, just slogans and bumper stickers. He's gonna have a beacon a light and they go. I was going to have unity. Meantime, there's nothing specific. Why did they fall for these gestures? This little symbolic stuff? Well, it's a very good lesson in human nature. I don't care if you're Albert Einstein, or if you have a second grade education. A huge reason for our political leanings are is very similar to our romantic leanings. It is a very emotional decision that we make subconscious decision that we make. And it's a very good trigger that some of not being honest with you, and they say things like, well, I'm voting for Candidate X because he or she is the most qualified and blah, blah, blah. That tells you that candidates in trouble If they say I love this candidate is crazy as that sounds, that candidate has a chance. So you know, it doesn't matter that they're facts don't work. I mean, for a lot of people who are so worried, Like, well, I'm going to convince my friend and list all these things that you know it doesn't work. It's an emotional thing. And if you you could change people's minds, you're gonna have to do it from the emotional trigger. That's harder to do and all and everything else like that. But it's true. It doesn't matter how smart you are. And you know, of course, the argument that a lot of people make is that well, the most educated people tend to be levels. Well, That's not true. I mean, I could tell you, you know the top of my head. 10 of the smartest men and women in the world who are not liberals, and there's very smart people who are levels. It's not about your smarts, markets a really a lot about what hits you emotionally. And when you figure out what your emotional triggers are You'll be happier when you can sort of try to align them with the facts, but understanding that you won't always be able to do. It is a very healthy thing to do. Okay, But here's a really smart guy puts us up on Facebook about finally, human decency is back in the White House. Now you know Donald Trump you maybe he's got a big mouth. Maybe he's crass and boorish. Or maybe whatever, but he is a guy with some human decency, isn't he? Yes, of course. And, you know, look, it's amazing how First of all, why are we looking for Human decency in politicians who, by their definition, are not going to be honest with us have to be hypocritical. And then if I'm looking for someone who really smells good at the garbage dump, that's just not what you do. It doesn't mean that those people are bad, necessarily, maybe there because that's their job, and it rubs off on them. You know how sad is it in America that we're looking at elected officials, you know, to be some kind of paragon of decency. Now we want them to be decent and absolutely okay to call them on when they're not being decent. But the idea that you know you look to a politician just goes to show how some of our other institutions in this country are churches and our synagogues and our schools. And they have really let us down to the point that we're looking for celebrities and politicians, people who we will never really know. You know, I don't know any of these people that I'm probably not ever going to know Joe Biden personally. That means that whatever judgments I have about him are going to be couched in way. In other words, you couldn't call on me as a character witness one way or the other, positive or negative. You know, people just need to remember that, but that's very that's a big It's a big ask, and it's like asking people. I mean, it seems like Americans now, for example, have absolutely no tolerance for anyone who disagrees with them. Even if they're being civil, you know, the so called civil and and decent but you don't agree with me. Well, I'm gonna try to kill your job and I'm gonna try to, you know, embarrass you publicly. These were the same people who are doing that. So it's just It's just so hypocritical that politics is Autocracy. Yeah. Hey, you wrote about you know the mob and all that stuff in the capital, and it was they've never been so horrified in their life..

"On September 16th, 1961, Betty and Barney Hill cut their vacation short and decided to drive home. They were having difficulty finding their way around the city and Barney decided he just wanted to drive home knowing that they would arrive at their home on New Hampshire seacoast at about Two o'clock in the morning. What they saw that night in the New Hampshire sky would change everything. I begin walking across the highway, looking up at the object with binoculars, putting them down, taking my head saying, Well, this just can't be true. I don't believe it a light in the sky. At first she thought of a falling star, but she realized that falling stars don't fall upwards and that's what this one was doing. Two years later, the hills would undergo hypnosis.
