Your family's is the them not knowing where things are when you pass away and the colorado department of unclaimed property has over five hundred million in it right now of people that you know their loved ones. Don't actually know where their assets are and they haven't claimed them and so really taking the time to have that in one place so your loved ones know will really make sure that they actually get what what they deserve and what you want them. We've worked so hard to create all of this money. You want your family to benefit from it in the future And then when we when we talk about Real estate if you own real estate in multiple states so if you own real estate here in colorado and you own real estate in nevada while it's gonna that real estate is gonna go through probate in each shea where the real estate is so. If you were to pass away your loved ones are going gonna have to go through probate and colorado and then the runner have to also open another probate process in nevada. Which is double the court cost. Double the fees all of the time delay. It's a real headache. Even if those are in limited liability entities in those states. This is one of those things. I see people do a lot. They go on legalzoom they create llc in multiple seats and they think it's all covered but they don't actually have it assigned crackly to avoid probate. And so it's still gonna go through. Probate all of those states. You started seeing these these These these table settings ray at ad bars as hubs a restaurants where where there would be a a table set for this thirteen Men and women who lost their lives in afghanistan. And then you would see the thirteen years and then you would see in like white tablecloth restaurants thirteen glasses of wine and then went even further and it hasn't stopped. I see it around where i live where people have thirteen chairs in their yard just With with their team flags Setting decided it and And and and people are showing it in all kinds of different ways and it hasn't gone away and i think what the national media is missing and what this administration is missing is. This moment has left an imprint. On the american psyche people have have really Sort of paused and thought about afghanistan and thought about how we left and have not let go of that. And i think the important distinction is is. It's not because they didn't want people to leave what they wanted. Awards show still go on. It's not about that at all. It's about how we left. They argument isn't the disappointment and sadness and and the Sort of imprint. In their brain is about how we left.

Biden Regulary Targets Republican States, Passes on Democratic States With Low Vaccinations

On the other hand, just sent this in Texas Governor Greg Abbott has sparred with the president a number of issues but especially in the subject of Covid and how best to balance the public health challenge It represents. Whether the priorities let me make this as clear as I know how I don't know. The single governor in this state is anti vax. As I've said over and over again, you can be pro vaccine and anti tyranny. The Republican governors, most of them with the exception of the governor of Massachusetts, in Maryland, I guess Our anti tyranny, Pro vaccine anti tyranny. In Florida is a massive state. Texas is a massive state. And they're actually doing very, very well. The Port Chicago Disaster
"One is quite sure exactly what happened but at ten eighteen pm there was a loud crash. The seminars reported as sounding like metal and timber falling down. This probably a crane or one of the booms which had collapsed then. There was the sound of an explosion and then a fire about five. To seven seconds later there was a massive explosion that destroyed the entire facility. It was one of the largest explosions in history up until that point pilots in the air at the time saw a fireball three miles into the air. The blast was felt in boulder city nevada. Four hundred thirty miles away. There was damaged onto buildings in san francisco forty eight miles away debris landed over two miles away and the plane which witnessed it said it's all white hot debris shooting past it. At an altitude of seven thousand feet. It coastguard fireboat near the pier was thrown six hundred feet or one hundred and eighty meters away where it eventually landed in the water and sank. There were three hundred and twenty men and the peer when the explosion occurred all of them died instantly. Two thirds of the dead. Were african american enlisted men who were working on the dock. In fact this explosion by itself was responsible for fifteen percent of all of the african american deaths in the second world war. I've got a previous episode on the halifax harbour explosion during world war one. The portugual explosion wasn't quite as large. But it wasn't too far away the biggest difference and the reason why the fatalities were lower. Portugal is that there were no civilians on the base. There were two hundred and fifty other injuries and of the men who were killed only fifty one wherever identified an inquiry was launched only four days after the explosion and the ruling was that it was probably the fault of one of the enlisted men. Nothing was mentioned about the poor safety conditions and the lack of training

After the cyber symposium i have met with no five different states and we're getting the states onboard to bring it just like i said before to the supreme court or the states will be the plaintiffs. Were doing audits even in red states. Red states where people like place in missouri where they said oh there was never in any election fraud here met with twelve of them including their secretary of state and we're starting an audit there so all of these states had had can go on frank speech dot com the way and see what happened in your state exactly and because they were all set through the machines and and every every like the my home state of minnesota every curious about which states send donald trump won. California's Caldor Fire Continues to Burn
"It is another ten stay in northern california near the near nevada. Border firefighters are battling kaldor fire now threatening the biggest city on the shore of lake. Tahoe they cut a break yesterday when winds relaxed a little bit but the fire has burned more than two hundred thousand acres and some fifty thousand people have evacuated. Npr's eric westervelt talked to some firefighters. Defending south lake tahoe. Fix smoke and ash. Enveloped the eerily empty resort area of south lake. Tahoe which is usually bustling. This time of year with summer tourists on the outskirts of the city exhausted fire crews in the christmas valley area. I really the last line of defense. Protecting south lake tahoe. Its number side over there. And then it's burning there that way towards the south talk behind us pretty close in a forested area adjacent to cabins and homes firefighter. Steve barnum and a wildfire strikeforce from southern california are scrambling to stamp out spot fires. These are the dreaded windblown embers that ignite many fires that can easily grow into new blazes. Bardem is working to contain one almost got out of control. It was bernie pretty Pie their thirteen fourteen foot claim lakes and get the ember cast off it it gets grasping the needle going and it goes over to the houses. And that's memorial. They're worried about sparks catching the drought-stricken brush dry pine needles surrounding the homes. Right across the road that can turn this forest fire into a battle to save homes and neighborhoods most of these forests and the tahoe basin have not burned since the nineteen forties. The spot fires they're tackling are not mere nuisances really the biggest threat to south lake. Tahoe right now says firefighter jesse alexander because they can overrun control lines and wreak havoc on any well-planned containment strategy and you have a spot fire basically planning might be go plan b. or plan c. depending on spotify jumped across so you can have every intention of trying to hold the road and if it jumps that road a spot fire now you have to kind of change your overall game plan. World Series of Poker to Require Players' Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
"World series of poker as we speculated in past episodes in the last episode didn't in fact announce that they are going to require that all attendees as far as spectators and players are going to be required to show proof of a covert nineteen vaccination. This does not apply to their dealers in staff will get into that a little bit. But what do you make of this. I mean we kind of saw this coming on like you said. I mean we speculated on last week we both kinda new but couldn't really say at the time so it was no surprise to us to see this. Listen i think the world series has to be concerned with limiting their kind of liability. And so they're just going to take the the safest measures that can the safest approach that they can possibly make it and in that is saying. Hey if you wanna be here at the world series of poker as a player or as a spectator or as a media member we're gonna require proof of vaccination now we also will require the use a amass remember. Chad said over the last couple of weeks that in nevada the governor had input option for large scale events. If those events require proof of vaccination you can eliminate the mass requirement. And i thought maybe the doors open for world series to do the same now. I saw that. Daniel talked a little bit on twitter about this very rule and it does not apply to gaming at least not yet so that would be impossible even at the world series is considered to be a quote unquote large scale event. It's not like a concert or a sporting event and gaming just does not have that ability at least not yet to go mascow. So i know that. We're most likely headed george masks for the sap it could remove the mandate in nevada. That's not likely they could consider gaming in large capacities and in that might be somewhat likely but as far as proof of vaccination for players is concerned. I'm not surprised that the world series went this route. And i don't think you're that surprised. Either i mean you were the first to say this was weeks ago. That wfan might might fire this option off. Ed seem the writing was on the wall to me. With what the raiders. Were doing in the nfl. You know that kind of set the precedent and it seemed like doing this. We're just solve all the wbz's issues as far as tracing testing and things like

You see that incredibly steep hillside there? And all of those trees sort of clustered together on fire at the same time, so this fire damaged trees falling over is a huge concern for firefighters. "While researching the wreck. The clara nevada historian. Steve levi uncovered numerous inconsistencies in the records authorities presumed. Everyone on the ship died. But a few of the crew apparently escaped the disaster because their names appear in the nineteen hundred census for most among the survivors was captain h lewis. Who went on to captain another vessel. How did these men survived. The sinking of the clara. Nevada levi also questioned. What happened to the one hundred and sixty five thousand dollars in gold reportedly stowed on the clara nevada when the boat went down the vessel sank in shallow water and numerous divers have explored the wreckage. But no one has ever found the gold. It is possible that the rumor of gold on the boat was false. But if there was gold on the clare. Nevada happened to it only months after the loss of the clara nevada. Captain c. h. Lewis bought the riverboat william h evans and headed to the yukon river. Where he planned to. Ferry prospectors and gear to dawson city. Unfortunately his captaining skills had not improved and he ran aground sandbar in the yukon. He stayed on the boat for over a year but finally abandoned the ship. When it became apparent the evans would break apart before the yukon flooded enough to allow the vessel to float.

"These all these fighter pilots their you know husbands fathers. They have families. They're not cold hearted killers. I feel like if the government was shooting down dozens of civilian aircraft every year. Somebody would say something i mean. Yeah by now. Somebody on their deathbed would be like and by the way. Yeah i mean. I'm sure it's probably happened once or twice. And we probably don't know about it i would i would. I would agree with because yeah. It's a pretty serious. You can go on youtube. And there's videos of pilots that just get even near the airspace. And they next thing you know. There's you know f sixteen tailing him so it's not something to screw around with but on the other end of the spectrum f sixteen fly slow enough to tail cessna probably not but they will budget and yeah i was trying to think of like can even fly slowly might stay with a prego one hundred and twenty lights if at an angle towards the ground and just rocking thrust. Because they're not getting any lift at. That's yeah yeah more more likely. They probably like radio. You and do a couple lie. Close fly bys like showing their weapons to break the sonic barrier right past. You just be like yeah. You're you're turning around on the other end of the crazy spectrum though. It could be that the aliens area fifty one either abducting these aircraft or maybe the. Us government uses these aircraft to test new advanced alien weapon technology. Well for that one shoot and they couldn't find it. That's one hundred percent right so yeah it sounds like a really cool x files episode in all honestly i. I don't believe the area fifty one or portal theories. I think it's something more simple as you know pilots. Just underestimate the the crazy weather. That happens around mountains but who knows maybe portals. Maybe it's aliens you know. Gotta have. I like to think it's possible. So that is. That is all i had show. I agree with you on that. I think it's it's more likely attributed to the thing that makes the most reasonable sense. But i like to always think that there's something like something. I won't say more sinister going on but something more interesting happening that that makes it worth tuning into our show. I wouldn't i would like to say. I've i've hiked survived two of the triangles now. So i've hiked in the alaska triangle and the nevada triangle. And i've made it out alive so you're starting to really push the boundaries. I know you just gotta go on a sailing trip in the bermuda triangle. Then we'll i have the well. Let's take a little paddle board out miami for like twenty minutes and we'll come back and then we'll technically have done swimming off the beach in miami. You've probably been in the bermuda triangle. So boom done it. Just in tahoe. So there you go so yeah. That's all i had anything else. Joe from your end nope thanks again for tuning into our show. "He's not a dumb guy he understands. You know risks. I use a very experienced pilot. I just have questions about what he was doing. If he was out. Searching for somewhere to do a new land speed record that's not up the sierra nevada's that would be you know out in the salt beds of nevada. Sure so i did. Was there something else going on here. Not just pilot error flying too close to the mountains. I know they say a lot of crashes. Do happen in the mountains because pilots are inexperienced. And they underestimate the winds involved in. Yeah this wouldn't be him. This wouldn't be him he wouldn't he pro you know. He went fly that close to the mountains. So i don't know. I i feel like something else was going on with this crash. Maybe he had a medical emergency and became unconscious like had a heart attack. Or something is plane. Just flew too close to the mountains or There was a lot of at the time. There is a lot of rumors going around in the public that he he purposely disappeared to avoid the stress of life. And things like that I don't buy that. He was a and they found the body. Yeah so i mean. It's while he was still missing. I'd say that would be a potential thing. So yeah so i you know the the. The official cause of his disappearance was basically pilot error and wind conditions. i don't i it just doesn't seem like something such an experienced pilot with do What do you think do you kind of same frame of that. Yeah i yeah. I don't think i'm seeing anything here. Hearing anything from you. That sounds super shady. Like with all the experience i mean. Let's look at this way when he when you have experience in you know what you're doing that reduces the likelihood of something going wrong to very small yeah. It doesn't eliminate the fact that he's a human being and human beings make mistakes. No matter how expert yards something all takes his one air. There's also that. I mean he was older and i'm going to use this. Just just as like an ageism thing of you. Take less risks when you get older. You're not like cocky. So i'm not thinking like maybe he was trying to do something crazy. He's probably just playing it smart but who knows maybe he just got to go. Ro- like do something fun. Yeah and made a calculation error or like was taking a risk that he knew as a risk but you know maybe his experience kind of got the best of him in that regard where he thought he could do something in. Couldn't i don't know i i would say. I don't see. Eddie conspiracies here where i would in some of the other stories. Yeah.

"A national park service cabin where he found some stocks of food to eat and he kind of he stayed in that cabin and eventually built up the strength to continue hiking towards civilization where he was eventually found so she. Yeah i mean so he. that's awesome. Yeah i i'm shocked. They didn't turn this into a movie. Or maybe they did but he apparently he had he carried took the parachute with him to keep warm. So amazing amazing story of survival but in one thousand nine hundred seventy seven. A group of boy scouts hiking in the area found a canopy that authorities believed was. From steve's t thirty-three wreckage has never been found So this is wow. This is kind of interesting. So i'll say my questions i had was What happened to his jet. You know was it. Is it just lost in the wilderness. Now when i was doing research on this specific incident there was a lot of This was at the height of the cold. War was kicking off. We were kind of getting into a competition with the russians at this time and there was a lot of rumors that he sold the crash jet to the soviets and that he was kind of like a soviet double agent within the united states military might landed at somewhere and then he like built elaborate backstory as something like that yeah and he. He claimed that's totally not true. I you know i. It did experience Issues and i had to a checked. The thing that adds to the mystery will never know because he actually ended up dying in a plane crash only a few few years later. Nineteen sixty five. So was that plane. Crash suspect at all they. They claim it was just a mechanical issues with his plane and he went down with it. But veda the military. So okay which you know. I know i know i'm being i'm being no. I mean provocative. So like i said back. Then you know. These pilots would fly new and unproven jets a lot of times. It would go down or did was he a double agent and he was selling us military technology and they got rid of him. That's kind of what. I was getting that they found out. That actually was a double agent or selling secrets. And they're like He died in a plane crash. That's so weird. Yeah so it's just another strange incident that happened within the nevada triangle. So all right. Let's move on to our next incident. This one maybe. That's why there's no movie on it because you know. Cia hollywood especially back. Then we're totally tied in. They're not gonna make a movie about that if he's if he's the bad guy. Yeah it it would make for really interesting movie. Actually the whole him selling secrets and that faking. That would be a great move. Yeah so anybody listening. Who is a movie producer. Great idea re-adjust. I give us a shout out in the movie. Forgiving you the idea yeah The the pre was the producer that did the all the alien shows. Oh i can't. I can't remember his name. I guess this or path theon prometheus prometheus do a made for tv history channel move area. Were consult on it for you like we definitely don't need you to so moving onto our next incident. This is august twelfth. nineteen sixty four businessman and developer. Charles charles ogle took off from international airport in assessment a two day on his way to las vegas nevada. Charles was a world war. Two and korean war veteran and he was a trained. Marine corps. pilot Him and his plane on route to las vegas. Jimenez plane were never seen or heard from again..

"I taught him everything he knows. But i didn't teach them. I very very s. You know something else that we wanted to get into something that you're writing about and then definitely has to do with sort of savvy politics politics moving in. That's what a recall. Looks like in. Nevada does not necessarily make a recall in california which is really interesting to watch you know. All of all of this unfolding mostly on twitter. I'm just watching it all on twitter but yeah let let's jump into that. Yeah i mean it is. It is really fascinating to see. I did not realize how often california voters want to try to recall the governor. It is it is. It is like a pastime in california. Probably third in line behind surfing and skiing as a recreational activity in the state of california is filing recalls against the governor They're they're very rarely successful anywhere in the country In two thousand and three when gray davis was recalled. A us replace with arnold schwarzenegger five a one. Hundred and thirty five person The slate of candidates to become the next governor of california. And what happened. Oh yeah that's right. They turned around and filed. Recalls against governor schwarzenegger's well so it's a pastime there. It's not so much a pastime here it's more of of talk but but There were there have been four attempts. I didn't realize four temps here in the state that we're actually filed with the secretary of state To recall governor cecil lack and none of them were successful. It looks like californians may be successful in getting this on the ballot because the deadline is until next wednesday the seventeenth the signature verification. The the rate of valid signatures is about eighty six percent which is really really good and People in california have the advantage that they don't have here in nevada in other words they have competence in the recall campaign. They have people who know what they're doing who doing it. That is not the case here in nevada and they also have money hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations. Some from single donors half a million here. Four hundred thousand there. Nevada's recalled never got that much money and and if it had would have made a difference probably would have made a difference. Says you have that kind of money. You can fire professional signature gatherers and you can get You know this this signatures The you need So it's it's interesting though because gavin newsom 's poll ratings are just about as high as cecil lacks california's a democrat dominated state in it. But it looks like it. Looks like gavin newsom may be subject to a recall whereas Steve celek was not and probably will not be during his during his term..

"It was the same thing they actually had to lay the groundwork for a couple of years before they finally mastered the process and took over. And that's exactly what we've seen here on the opposite side of the political aisle so they have You know they have won a victory and nobody can take that of victory away from them. I think it's gonna be a little bit rough going. Initially you saw The mainstream folks. It was clear who the establishment quote unquote the establishment wanted to win this election katherine. Cortez masto Who i read Subsequently said she she was not Did not encouraged tick to run totally encourage Rod and him to be the chair She has a personal direct interest in this and that is the fact that she's going to be on the ballot in two years in twenty twenty two. She wants to make sure that she has every advantage and the nevada democratic party being one merged with the read machine was a definite advantage. And so so now. I think what you what you saw and what i heard from people i talked to beforehand was. Was this idea that you know. Look we may win. We may lose the party election. We're probably going to lose. But if we do. No big will just reorganized fallback form new organization and carry out what we need to do to win in that format and so i think that's what's happening and so i think the I think the winners of this democratic party a takeover You know they are probably feeling and not without justification. I sympathize with the star. Probably feeling like look. We said we organize we took over. Were ready to lead here. And now you're taking your ball and going home. And the establishment people are basically saying. Yeah exactly yeah we didn't. We didn't get into power by sharing the power eight exactly. This is not a power sharing agreement. it's harlem entry system it's a winner-take-all and they're taking all and so the losers are also taking all. They took fifty thousand dollars out of the party's coffers and put it into the mix regular right democratic senatorial campaign committee for cortez. Mass does reelection. So so i understand that they're you know there's definitely hard feelings now ticks boom himself as i knew he would because tick is an old political hand and really nothing bothers to guy. It's just probably the result of his super super permanent super mellow attitude because while the marijuana that he has used over the years he just nothing. Nothing fazes the guy. He lost immediately congratulated. You whitmer and said let's work together to make the party work. And and all that that was about the only expression of conciliation unity. That i saw everybody else was was was pretty much in their own camps and so So we'll see we'll see the formation of this para party organization going forward the same way we did with the republican party. And it's just it's it's another hurdle to overcome. The democrats are going to have to overcome. Because now they're going to have to decide to raise money for the or the read machine. You know whatever organization to be named later Or do i do. I work within the party. What's my relationship to the party. Now how is this gonna work. Is the party gonna primary me. I mean that's that's a concern. I think was some democrats especially moderate democrats and yes. There are moderate democrats the the they're probably concerned that you know..

"The president. Joe biden calls the american rescue plan. The big corona virus stimulus package. Make it through both houses after after quite a lot of debate and discussion and get signed. We record these on thursday and it was signed today we also want to talk about sort of dueling and and different Recall attempts for the governors of california and nevada. And how how. Those things look totally different. Somehow but i wanna talk about a subject that we've definitely been talking about quite a lot. These last couple of weeks which was new leadership in the nevada democratic party Over the weekend there was an election and the progressive slate which was Clark county well now now. former clark. County chair judith. Whitmer and a lot of other folks who are democratic socialists who are big supporters of bernie sanders. They really cleaned house over the The sort of establishment democrats not a total surprise when we get into the breakdown of it but definitely jarring definitely a a major change and we saw you know. Sort of immediate fallout in the staff of the envy. Deb's one of the most you know well organized and strongest parties at the statewide level in the whole country. Quit in mass. We saw their consultants. Quit en masse difficulty even getting into the building for the new for the new folks. We had stories on that all this week it was. It was national news. I saw it basically everywhere I was i watched the election. They were gracious enough to allow me in even beyond what i was allowed in ice saw. The actual debate and discussion happen. They they let me and even though it was only four central committee members so we can certainly talk about that. But i'm curious steve as somebody was just you know hopefully relaxing on a saturday. What did you think well. As a matter of fact. I was relaxing on on a saturday. Smoking as a fine cigar and chatting with some friends. But we were chatting about this. This is one of the subjects that we were talking about and And and i. Let's just say off the top. You've got to hand it to the slate of progressives took over the party You know we always here People told look if you don't like the way things are Get involved you know. Change change the system persuade other people that your point of view the right point of view and get involved and do something about it. These folks did exactly that. They took that advice. They got involved. They went about the process of organizing. And it is not easy. These parties and elections can be very byzantine at times. So you gotta you gotta take your hat off to to The folks who took over to judith whitmer and her slate of candidates it was it was not an easy thing i mean they they had laid the groundwork of this for a long time. When the when the ron paul people took over the republican party. It didn't happen overnight..

"A lot of the power that they had maybe maybe twenty eight twenty sixteen but it did take years to sort of write that ship if you're a democrat and so there there is a lot at stake right away for the. Yeah definitely and the cd. Three race is a perfect example of of What we were talking about earlier You know you You you suzy. Lee is is a good democrat for that district because she's a moderate and There's a lot of people who are progressives who don't like moderates and think will wire their you know what's the point Of having a moderate democrat you might as well have a republican in there But But but honestly if you ran a if bernie sanders moved to southern nevada got gave up his mittens gave up. His jacket moved to southern nevada. in lived here and decided to run for congress in the in the third congressional district he'd have an uphill climb. It would be tough for bernie sanders to win notwithstanding the fact that he would have total progressive. Support the district currently drawn. And we'll see how it's drawn at the end of the summer when they re district the district is currently drawn would be a very tough sledding for bernie sanders And and i it's not as tough for sicily because of their ideological differences and so that's a perfect example. Now you have april becker Who is a good candidate. She was a very good candidate in that state. Senate race And i think she'll be a very good candidate for For this district assuming she wins the primary. You're gonna have to have somebody who can't be painted as a crazy out of touch socialist. Who wants to take away. Everybody's healthcare and give government healthcare You you if you have that kind of person who would be much easier for a republican challenger to to win that seat and certainly. It's happened many times before in the history of the third congressional district so that district has kind of a good example of the the consequences of of these kind of things. And what potentially could go wrong You need a etiological diversity in the party because of the ideological diversity of the districts and if you do a poor job of matching candidate to district you lose and the other side wins and And you know that may Be for for democrats again a disaster like it wasn't twenty sixteen with donald trump winning the presidency And so you know. These things have to be taken into consideration and the political realities of those things have to be taken into consideration. So i think that's that's that's gonna come into play For some of the central committee voters not all but some of the central committee. Voters will look at things outweigh and i think. See the the pragmatic reality of of what's going on there so that'll that'll be a factor share sharon and certainly as we always say we'll be watching it the next week and be the the following saturday coming from the saturday in which they actually you make this vote and you get a good sense of where the democratic party in nevada. The sort of the empowered party is what i call them in the story because they really have a a pretty tight grip on things most of the state most the federal seats the the majority in both legislative houses and things like that..

"So I think there's still a lot of back and forth on it I spoke to a few people including groceries been looking at polls for a lot longer than I've been alive and everybody's everybody's. Consensus seems to be Biden has the advantage. There's there's it's measurable in pretty much every way the by its Biden's to lose I think most people would say you know the trump campaign is working they're out there registering you see the Democrats and their allies have really kind of stepped up in the last couple of weeks. You know they're they're getting out the vote. Sort of actions. Now, normally, they'd be doing that for like a year. So so the there is some wiggle rooms there's a window I think that the trump campaign is trying to crawl through but you know when you look at the survey and you get a little bit deeper, you know it wasn't that Rosie for trump because we also asked folks, you know what they thought of. Of their number one motivation was and by far the most common motivation for voting was forgetting trump out of office about a quarter of the pioneer said that that was a reason second-place was the economy added about seventeen percent, and then also if you look at who do you trust, we asked folks who do you trust to you know sorta gets out of this corona virus mass and trump in the federal government were near the bottom of that as well. So so not super rosy for trump, but I, do think. It's it's their best poll of the state in in months so far. So maybe maybe there's something to be clean there and to me I, just shows you know what everybody's been saying what we've been saying for months it's it's still very much a swing state. It's still very much anybody's ballgame. The that's for sure. We should also mention a couple of other top top results. Don blankenship gone one percent in our poll. If you're wondering who don blankenship is use the Constitution Party candidate. Nationally. He is running here in the state of Nevada, under the independent American party banner. and. Joe Jorgensen got three percent she is the libertarian candidate. For. President. So Um so there's probably some libertarians there now whether that will see that in the final analysis, we we to see none of these candidates by the way got four percent which beats the independence and third parties there. So I'm sorry visa third parties, not the independence and so that is an option that's on Nevada's ballot that sort of unique to the State Nevada but yeah, twenty five percent did say their motivation was getting rid of trump. and seventeen percent said, their motivation was the economy. And there's really no way to tell how that economy question of the benefits trump refit benefits biden. On one side of you could say, will trump was being charged with pretty good economy until the coronavirus head and and. His ad saying if you put him back in charge, we'll get back to. What that good economy was all about on the other hand. You can have people say the economy is terrible right now we want to a change to make it better could. Occur. Well for for Joe Biden. The the actual, the highest, the number of people specified another reason..

"Nevada caucus is coming and I read in politico who knows if it's true or not that their plan B. is to distribute I pads with cell phones inside the iPad's so that it they can all communicate to Nevada caucus central and report to us the results of the first round in the second round in the viability they're doing it again Liz they're doing it again they're gonna come up with a mess and well CNN is gonna dutifully reported but the only thing we can count on is at some point in the evening or maybe the week will learn that Bernie Sanders is ahead the Democrats cannot get anything right this year there behind the eight ball well it it is a concern in Nevada because though they have been scrambling to change this they were going to use the same exact allied that spelled and Iowa so they just scrapped that and they've gone back as you say to sort of more traditional reporting but the truth is imagine trying to get this thing soul sorted out and set up in such a short period of time they thought they were ready they are not ready no they're not they're not even practicing to be ready and they're back up as the telephone get this the telephone how secure is that that's their backup plans well is call it in and we saw in Iowa that when they all start calling it in the fall right it's jam reggae get through so it and there is a possibility that it's another mass for sure and of course the other element is interesting and new and different is that Mike Bloomberg will be on that stage right thank you coming up for a before the Iraq before the univac carcass right even though he's not this is tomorrow night even though he is not competing in Nevada in which is on Saturday the clock as he will be on the stage because the DNC wisely I think change the rules so that happened having a huge number of online donor so no longer or donors in general was not any longer a reckless at now it was just here national polling and Bloomberg has been over ten percent hold at over ten percent in for national polls so he will be on that stage along with five others and they will all be gunning for him for sure because he is rapidly rising in the polls but he should be on that stage because so far all voters have seen of him is glossy ads paid for by now over four hundred million dollars which is more than by the way every other candidate put together has spent on advertising so now we have Mike Bloomberg to progressive lastest who's trying to or in the primary the candidacy and it's going to be pretty interesting and by the way it's a very good thing for the DNC because the audience for these debates has been as you know tumbling so I think this is going to be a much more watched event that it would have been otherwise if Mike Bloomberg was the number the younger man I'd say he doesn't know who he is less it's very confusing identity writes this keep sailors Ising for the Mike Bloomberg that we talk to you know have got used to when he was may we all right yeah right so yeah the end the puzzle here also is that the polling suggests this is in a close race anymore no more Sanders is pulling away from everybody including Mike Bloomberg and not just in Nevada the national polling now maybe it's maybe it's gonna change suddenly but Sanders looks like he's a dominant player if it was anybody else but Bernie Sanders this city over it's true except he still has a pretty constrained amount of the vote in other words Bernie Sanders has never really gotten over thirty percent of the vote which is why there's more and more expectation that this will go in Milwaukee to a bartered brokered convention right at which point Mike Bloomberg will haul out all that **** sit is he is owed from across the country and hopes to persuade Democrats that he is a likely candidate I tell you what's on this cannot turn out well for Democrats because if it is Bernie Sanders I don't think he's a viable candidate in modern America if it isn't the Bernie Sanders contingent will not be happy clams and a lot of them will stay home so I I think this as send Bernie Sanders is very worrisome we've seen it all over the headlines Democrat leaders of all kinds are worried about it but they can't stop it they can't stop it or don't want to lose weight what do you say dear are they are they ready to lose with Sanders because it'll punish the progressives do you think that that is I don't know that eating that that's that's not occam's razor Inez too complicated I think Sanders losing in the primaries that would be enough of a blow to the progressive movement era and it it it isn't happening you know and and what's interesting to me is the word that is attached to Bloomberg and they started Bernie Sanders is authenticity a lot of people don't really like all of his prescriptions for what ails our economy where they think ails our economy but they like the fact that he is who is seven and they know who he is in there but he's believable in the sense that he never changes his tune I think that raises a real flag about Mike Bloomberg who and and some others to like Elizabeth Warren who basically doesn't have anything to say today that sounds like what he used to say five years ago or three years ago it isn't in Bloomberg's case like Joe Biden talk about things he did thirty five years ago this is immediate right and so it's not particularly believable this page she's a columnist at the hill as well as writing and fox news and she's much on fox business this was the national politics reports sponsored by scholar dot com leading the wave Also supported. staff led troops in Title one schools so he have like we have a couple of troops that are more than twenty girls that are led by our staff as well as teachers and those girls like would rather come to our vets and go to school. So we're trying to work on. You know shifting that because those those leaders say look if you wanna volunteer at seven. Am on saturday morning. I want you to be as enthusiastic about coming to school at seven. Am as you are going to girl scouts at seven. Am on saturday. So i mean it's a it's interesting It's interesting story because They are engaged. And that's making a difference so it's a little at a time but the fundraising really funds. Those opportunities for the girls and then outside of our dessert before dinner we participate in nevada gives giving tuesday And we have cookies and cakes for different crowd of Givers you know people who like to come together and you enjoy some cookies and some beer. And and i know that yes. Yeah so we brought that back and We have a different people who don't go to cook Dessert before dinner will come to that. "And so although i lived here for nineteen years i was travelling so so people that i knew here. I wasn't as rooted in our community because our clients and our investments where elsewhere and so It was a more worldly experience requiring a lot of trouble and the highest the highest end projects so luxury hotels and resorts for four seasons mandarin oriental. So the cream of the crop. And then i decided to make a change. I felt like should i know i felt like something was missing. I mean you know when you're doing such exceptional work and have such exceptional clients. It's it's so rewarding and Relationship building was a strength of mine that and and not only that but more importantly it's relationships mental ought to me so every relationship i've made professionally and personally along the way have been so important. That I wanted to maintain those relationships but i wanted to try something new and so i started working at a construction company because i liked the idea of female anna anna construction world as a leader and i lead The new business development and some of the marketing and pr for a short time before this opportunity to be co girl. Scouts of southern nevada came up and the job opening came to me via email through my sister and She said you should do this. Mom would be so proud and was like a what like. That's a tightly. Hold on this is a complete shift. It takes me a warm up to certain things. I'm not a quick. i don't i don't change gears. Quickly i. I'm i analyze everything. I'm i'm more of an analytical thinker creatively an analytically but i i had to look at it and i was like oh this as i start looking to just made sense because i love mentoring young professionals. I love being a mother. Love love love being a mother and you know sharing and the excitement and my kids. My children's friends And their their successes and then when they have challenges helping them work through their challenges. And i thought this is an opportunity to lead a team of individuals with a really strong mission. And it's a great brand. I mean it so mean having grown up in my professional life at disney brand centric brand and business was very important to me and making those decisions that relationships could continue to thrive and making a difference so most importantly it was making a difference. And so when. I started to look into this. I this opportunity i thought okay. Female young girls having their own safe-space and learning the you know how to be courageous building their character and building. Their confidence is so essential. I mean i had that when i was young. I you know there's more there's always more to learn. But i want every girl to have that opportunity that i had and that other girls have and so. I thought this was a perfect platform to make. A difference is to really to be that champion for young girls to have an opportunity to meet new friends to try new things to be in a safe space. not embarrassed in try. Just try things that they've never tried before and let them you know. Let them fall down and pick themselves back up and and really support one another. Because i mean i think we're getting better but we have a long way to go for women to support women. I think it's really important. And i think you learn at a young age. And so that's why our mission is so important is to really instill these qualities in these young girls from kindergarten. All the way through high school because that'll carry on with them and to their professional life or or their family life..
