Why SEO is Still Our #1 Marketing Strategy in 2020

"Super committed to your success online. We've worked with them to a special offer just remarking school listeners. All you have to do is go to dream host dot com slash marking school to learn more and get your website online today. Welcome to another episode of Marketing School I'm Eric. Su and I'm Neil Patel and today we're GONNA. Talk about why Seo is still our number one marketing strategy in two thousand twenty. So meal how long have you been doing Seo for? Too Long I don't even know how long maybe sixteen to eighteen years somewhere around that range of guessing sixteen to eighteen years. Okay. So for me, it's probably coming up on ten years or so. So I'll answer question afterwards wide you still like Seo wise it still your number one strategy although s does take effort cost more than it used to write you could get rankings with very little effort or very little human capital. So in essence you're still spending money because it's time. In the long run, it's still one of the cheapest tropics that I found. It's consistent and whether you have a good month that business or badminton business, you afford keep getting that traffic see like when things like Kobe hit a lot of people had a turn paid ads because even though as we're making money. Just if not everyone's buying or things go wrong you gotta save cash wherever you can. Seo You don't have to turn it off. You can pause your campaigns, but you're still getting that traffic and that's a beautiful part. I think the reason why it's still mine number one marketing strategy is because I think in the early days of my career I wanted the newest tactics I wanted to move very quickly. Go go go and then I realized that what I'm really good at is the long term stuff I I realized that when you have a long term outlook on things you look at Warren Buffett is just they like to buy and hold things typically you're not buying stock to sell. So the way I look at s Yo single rains a good example of this when I first. Came into the company, we're getting like two to three thousand visits month. Now we're we're getting decent traffic upwards of about three, hundred thousand or so Neil. Neil gets couple million, right but I think the point I'm trying to make it compounds and it is the gift that keeps on giving yes. You have to continue to feed the beast, but it's cost efficient, and once you have that foundation that bedrock you can start to build out the other channels but you build around that. So I. Just look at it as business investment not so much as just a marketing strategy. Look at the end of the day, as long as you can end up. Providing a ton of value, you'll get the traffic and when times are tough, you can pause things. Things is. You still have your Seo if you don't have as many people working on or you're not producing as much contact, you'll still get the traffic again I don't know any other channel that's like a social media's quick bursts Seo. You can sustain it. You don't get that quick bursts at the beginning, but long instead he really or slow. Really does win the race in paid. You spend, you get the trap you saw up spending, you get less traffic or pretty much no traffic when it comes to paid net paid convert better but you gotta keep paying for it and I don't know of any other topics out there other than SEO that keeps producing constant quality traffic that drive conversions, and it has the highest Roi from anything else that I've ever passed it. I think some of the. Smartest entrepreneurs I know I speak for you to kneel. It's they understand not only just business, but they understand as he even if you get a cursory understanding of SEO, you have an unfair advantage I think they said Microsoft said as is GonNa. Be One of the top skills if not be top skills in demand in the next ten years or so search will always be there as long as people are looking for things search will be there S. You will always be there and so the other thing with Seo is think about it this way, there's an arbitrage opportunity with. So once you start to build up a good domain authority, you can use a draft you can use sem rush whatever uber suggests you. You have a certain score. Your site is seen as an authority and there's other sites out there were previously they might have been like might have just sold education products and now they've become. Affiliate blogs right and you start to rain for whatever in that Niche whatever you publish tends to rake, and so you have an opportunity to

It's not what was going on later. He did eventually get his g._e._d. Now in-school glow he'd been very good wrestler. He's a small larry. There isn't really in probably the best you can do is get a scholarship ship to a big wrestling school that like we said he wasn't a scholar wasn't interested in school right right so he's out of school for house d._j. Meagre random using that business name rent. The bus entertained yeah but when the d._j. Business didn't take off. He decided for a while to follow aw father's footsteps as a union ironworker he got work in different parts of connecticut and even iowa but when the steel industry came on in hard times plus was without drought it moved back home with his mom and dad did jobs he became quite the party guy got a reputation as someone like a to exaggerate. He began to drink and use drugs to excess. I nineteen ninety and his mom and dad knew it was a problem. He was spending a lot of time. In the local. Oh bars when he was in his early twenties. He moved out on his own a few times but he just returning to the family hall he was a good looking guy very small and compact but it kind of above jonas face so when he was offered a job as an exotic dancer has decided to give it a try he'd been working as a mechanic connect and a tow truck driver but the work wasn't steady. The dancing was just a few times a month at a local bar and no experience was necessary. Say didn't didn't have to be like a professional dancer news of a good vibe yeah he was in shape and he just had stripped out new g. straight in kind gyrate around in women would give dollar bills so it was pretty good money compared to what he was making it most of his other jobs in ninety two buzz had been dancing ladies eighties night on a semi regular basis and then one night can cartner came into the bar she was with a group of girlfriends and buzzsaw her and they made eye contact so when he was finished dancing the night he approached cam and started chatting with her. Him was pretty shy but she liked buzz right off. They were both twenty any six of the time. Him got married right out of high school. In that marriage had ended badly less was really sweet to her. He cock lament her and destroyed her like a princess princess. He was instantly really taken with her which surprised people because she wasn't like other girls that he dated as this good looking guy china dancer had plenty of opportunities to hook up with a lot of attractive women but kim seem special to him and kim in her two year old daughter rebecca. We're living with kim's peres since the richard carpenter had this time when she met buzz and so when she is growing up him doing fewer especial and some people would later compare her childhood to the fairytale cinderella her big sister beth was the daughter could do no wrong and kim seeing credit doing anything anything right kim's none. Cynthia was a college grant into father on and worked in his own landscaping business. This is after he spent twenty some years. The serbs now kim was boiling finicky neria p._k. That could cause a problem. Okay all right so kim did graduate from high school and then she waited tables at a local oh restaurant she ended up marrying a physically abusive alcoholic then she filed for divorce while he was in jail in august of nineteen ninety he can give birth to rebecca and afterwards she lived at home with her. Mom and her mom took a lot of the responsibility of taking care of the baby. Kim wasn't and always the most responsible parent but she did love her daughter and her mother became very attached to rebecca so in kim decided to move out. Cynthia had a really hard time signed with us. She actually wind cantu. Leave her daughter behind with her. She was like a female opie from the andy griffith show with blue eyes pale white skin. She had this thick really gorgeous dark. Red colored hair really stands out by the time she reached high school. She made up her mind to go to med school so she knew she was exceptional and was doing well shoes. The firstborn as you said the golden child yeah there was just no chance even without disabilities that can can really live up to this. It would be a tough position to be in for anyone but kim was born three years after <hes> beth anne and she was kind of the happier more carefree sister but her parents really didn't expect much of her. She wasn't a student at the same level as fat but she did want to go to beauty school and become a hairstylist then fifteen when kim was a high school sophomore beth then left home for college. Bethune was enrolled at george washington university as about me major.

"Neil neil. I don't you know, how to say that. Anyway, they have a definition of man of corn, a mythical male creature who is successful funny intelligence chivalrous masculine adventurous artistic so who wouldn't want to be a man. So I have the number on Instagram of how many posts have used hashtag Mana corn Tyson of what is your guests. How many posts have been put on Instagram the app with the two hundred and twenty four to Danny? Would you like o-on hundred twenty-five? So you're doing under. Yes. Okay. Seventeen hundred fifty nine. Not a full on pedantic, but still pretty broke more than more than brogue more than Braga these Braga guys. They say lightning doesn't strike twice. But it looks like they got it. Not all of these Mana corn hashtags are of a man with a with a multicolored beard. Are you looking at Dungs? No, no, not yet. He'll get there. I'm sure if you've not yet not yet. So some of these are men dressed as unicorns and other ways, but very few of them have been men with a multicolor beard. Okay. So you're saying that maybe they just lucked out on choosing something that was already a thing. And then piggybacking off of that. I think that men have addressed up like a unicorn before. But it seems like that very few men might be. I think they might have taken all the pictures of men that did this and put them in this article. Yeah, they sure did extensive it it seems like that the. Over under on men who have made the Mana corn beard seems like it's about twelve or thirteen. That's. Not a trend by any stretch of the imagination. These are the first Mana corns. The first Manticore. It sounds like a great movie the first man lasted the Manta corns. And I of the medical last year arm starting off I last of the Manta corns. Okay, food you say Mel Brooks. Oh, Tom, Tom Cruise. I think all right. Let's get into something that we talked about last week on the podcast. Everybody was a buzz about the two competing fire festival. Documentaries. And we had some homework from last week that I was assigned to watch fire fraud over on Hulu, Danny refused to watch any Hulu content. Danny instead watched fire which was the Netflix documentary and Tyson apostle watched both has everybody completed their homework assignments. Yes. Okay. Now, we do these spoiler. Action of our podcast where we are spoiling the fire festival documentaries, which I'm not sure if you can spoil them, we all ready know, the outcome rights. Okay. All right. So how'd Tyson. How should we talk about this? How should we frame this discussion? Well. I don't know. I mean, both of them. So anybody who doesn't know the report from Danny? And then and from myself, and then you can tell us who was a more, correct? Okay. Sure. I mean, both of you guys. Don't have the same information. I have well, we only have one. So that one movie let me describe my favorite scene. I think summed up the net flicks review, describe your favorite scene, and then rob will describe his favorite scene in whichever favors seni- deemed, the better of the scenes will then be the better documented give us your reviewed. Okay. So this this scene. Probably it's not a standout seen. All right. But it's early on when the festival is kind of beginning to develop they've gotten they've sold all their tickets. They promoted it using the models all of they say, the ten most popular models, and they're picking up steam, and it shows them planning they have they have this planning meeting where they're discussing where to put the toilets and where to. Put the campsite on this island. This is when they still had the private island, the Escobar island in the man talking is I think he's Dutch the guy who taught himself to fly. This is a lot of people's fantasy one. Oh, he was a lot. But this is a lot of people's favorite scene from that one on. Okay, good. So people know, so he the Dutch guy who taught himself to fly on Microsoft flight simulator. That guy bite himself deserves a documentary. He's there describing what's going to happen..

Are Are you you don't don't need need to to know know how how it it works? works? I I think think understanding understanding understanding understanding how how things things work work is is a a key key part part of of building building out out love love and and curiosity curiosity around around technology technology for for people people hearing hearing about about Mojo Mojo for for the the very very first first time. time. Could Could you you just just set set the the scene scene ill ill failed? failed? Exactly Exactly what what as as the the real real world world problems problems that that you you solve solve what what makes makes stop stop out out of of solutions solutions outlet. outlet. Sure. So. So. You You know, know, insulated insulated a a difficult difficult to to penetrate, penetrate, a a very very slow slow decision-making decision-making and and very very much much not not invented invented here here mentality mentality of of companies companies trying trying to to do do everything everything themselves themselves sweet sweet felt felt having having a a strategic strategic investor investor and and dig dig brother brother would would be be really really helpful. helpful. We've We've talked talked to to most most of of the the OEM OEM suppliers suppliers in in the the world, world, and and our our our our our our hope hope was was we'd we'd get get the the number number one one supplier, supplier, which which is is Bosch. Bosch. They're They're twice twice as as big big as as the the next next biggest biggest supplier. supplier. They They have have amazing amazing technology technology the the invented invented the the can can bus, bus, which which is is what what our our technology technology talks talks over over through through the the Opie Opie deport deport and and happy happy to to say say on on this this Boston Boston investor investor today, today, but but we've we've got got five five different different technology technology tracks tracks that that were were working working with with them them on on including including having having our our platform platform work work directly directly with with an an embedded embedded telematic telematic solution solution in in brand brand new new cars. cars. It It will will be be doing doing that that side side by by side side with with Bausch, Bausch, which which is is pretty pretty pregnant pregnant headed headed when when when when you you think think about about it it so so company company with with four four hundred hundred thirty thirty five five thousand thousand employees employees hundred hundred billion billion plus plus in in revenue, revenue, and and they're they're sitting sitting there there side side by by side side with with Mojo, Mojo, our our you you know, know, ninety ninety person person growth growth company company so so super super excited excited about about that. that. And And what what what what a a difference difference a a year year mix mix of of close. close. So So in in law law and and fear fear that that can can we we got got lucky lucky never never made made the the power power luck. luck. Not Not back back home. home. I I believe believe you you also also do do guest guest lectures lectures at at stunt stunt fits fits engineering engineering entrepeneurship entrepeneurship program. program. Can Can you you tell tell me me a a little little bit bit more more about about that that program? program? And And why why you you think think so so important, important, absolutely. absolutely. Why Why looking looking back back to to the the first first company company I I started started I I wrote wrote my my business business plan plan in in that that class class and and the the class class is is a a combination combination of of engineering engineering master's master's students students and and business business schoolmaster schoolmaster students students in in the the Inkatha Inkatha that that class class is is a a business business plan plan that that you you present present to to both both the the professor professor Mike Mike lions lions and and also also the the students students and and eventually eventually to to venture venture capitalists. capitalists. Why Why wrote wrote might might first first business business plan plan in in class class in in actually actually starting starting my my first first company company I I go, go, which which I've I've actually actually took took public public ninety ninety nine. nine. And And so so that that class. class. Nice Nice has has a a real real special special place place in in my my heart. heart. You You know, know, healthy healthy launch launch my my first first business business in in so so Mike Mike lions lions invites invites me me back, back, and and I I come come back back in in disguise disguise myself myself as as another another student, student, and and they they do do the the business. business. They They do do the the case case study study on on my my business business plan plan and and students students just just rip rip apart. apart. All All the the silly silly things things that that I I was was thinking, thinking, and and how how strategy strategy was was off off and and the the always always different different things things were were were were blemishes blemishes or or problems problems with with the the with with the the business business plan. plan. And And then then eventually eventually Mike Mike asked asked me me to to come come downs. downs. I I take take off off my my baseball baseball cab cab come come down down to to the the further further class class and and tell tell her her what what actually actually happen happen says says a a real real fun fun kind kind of, of, you you know, know, live live case case study study around around the the business business that that that that actually actually worked worked despite despite all all the the problems problems in. in. So So that's that's a a lot lot of of fun fun for for me. me. You You know, know, I I got got my my first first big big break break from from a a Stanford Stanford alumni, alumni, John John Michael Michael who's who's very very first first investor investor if if he he had had come come up up with with the the original original idea idea for for the the business, business, and and you you know, know, he's he's been been a a huge huge proponent proponent of of entrepreneurs entrepreneurs is is a a first. first. Estrin Estrin Staples, Staples, kinkos kinkos copies copies and and was was really really the the guy guy that that stood stood by by me in during the tough times. After starting the business said, listen, I believe in you believe in the business steel stick through this. You're gonna make it instead of worrying about each of the issues to send me a fax. This is back. When people did a lot of faxing semi a fax every Friday in the one good thing that happened and you'll see after time, you're you're making progress in you know, it turns out he was right in. So I'm threader thankful now into Stanford. But also, John Michael for gave me the confidence to stick with it. And not let the first second third or fifteenth problem. He'll. Knock you down every startups have problems, but you probably saw beginning one more step closer to the solution. So that's a key part. And the other is just being back on campus. Really energizes you being around you all students the energy, you know, the taking you back to time. When you remember that anything is possible? There's nothing like that feeling of being on campus. So I get a lot out of it as well. Not you have enjoyed a fantastic career experienced a dramatic is on lows of entrepreneurship since we can help from shop floor. But But can can you you share share the the finished? finished? Oh, Oh, most most interesting interesting story. story. This This happened happened to to you you since since you you began began late late in in Ulan Ulan company company had had -solutely. -solutely. Well. Well. You You know, know, I I started started at at the the chip chip company company called called Silicon Silicon Systems Systems right right out out of of college. college. And And after after on on a a couple couple of of years years working working in in different different parts parts of of the the genera genera team team invited invited to to a a CEO CEO dinner dinner and and the the CEO CEO of of the the company company car car of of I I didn't didn't know know this. this. But But he he didn't didn't fight fight six six seven seven people people out out to to dinner dinner once once a a month. month. Trying Trying to to get get them them a a little little liquor liquor up up in in in in having having few few glasses glasses of of wine, wine, and and then then he he would would say say all all right, right, Kenny. Kenny. What's What's the the one one thing? thing? You You would would change change in in this this company. company. Just Just one one don't don't give give me me ten. ten. What's What's the the number number one one thing? thing? You You would would change change his his company company right right now, now, what what is is it? it? And And I I said said well well for for customer customer meeting meeting last last week. week. And And I I noticed noticed that that your your sales sales guys guys are are confused confused about about some some of of the the products. products. They're They're missing missing opportunities opportunities in in customers customers really really frustrated frustrated trying trying to to figure figure out out which which of of the the products products to to use use and and how how to to apply apply them. them. I I think think we we need need a a two two day day technical technical training training class class for for our our sales sales people people and and Karm Karm says, says, you you know, know, what what you're you're right right at at a a lot lot of of complaints complaints about about that. that. Hockey Hockey seemed seemed like like you've you've got got a a good good personality. personality. So So starting starting Monday, Monday, you're you're going going to to be be transferred transferred up up to to Silicon Silicon Valley. Valley. And And you're you're not not going going to to be be in in technical technical sales sales way. way. We'll We'll what what what what that's that's not. not. That's That's not not what what I I suggested suggested he he says says no no that that that's that's exactly exactly what what he he suggested suggested in in is is perfect perfect and and start start packing packing your your stuff stuff tomorrow. tomorrow. He He can can move move over over the the weekend weekend report report up up to to the the general general manager manager John John Tamil Tamil up up there there on on Monday. Monday. And And that that was was it. it. I I was was pushed pushed from from a a technical technical career, career, which which I I was was really really enjoying enjoying into into sales. sales. And And you you know, know, I I thought thought of of sales sales is is used used star star sales sales people, people, I I never never understood understood or or appreciated appreciated the the importance importance or or the the art art of of professional professional sales sales and and went went into into his his office office and and said, said, I'm I'm not not I'm I'm not not a a salesman salesman engineer engineer design design products products Bill Bill products. products. He He says says number number one. one. This This is is not not a a democracy democracy decisions decisions been been made made number number two. two. He He says says nobody nobody in in this this company company gets gets paid paid until until somebody somebody sells sells something something and and number number three. three. I I heard heard you you wanted wanted to to be be an an entrepreneur entrepreneur some some day day will will if if you you wanna wanna be. be. Sure, Sure, sell sell better. better. Learn Learn how how to to sell sell get get out out of of my my office. office. And And you you know, know, might might might might sales sales manager manager John John John John Tamil Tamil was was a a true true pro pro taught taught me me all all the the ropes ropes of of selling selling in in in in the the importance importance of of a a professional professional sales sales career. career. And And we we just just crushed crushed it it became became number number one one worldwide worldwide eventually eventually at at thought thought TD TD k k at at later later TI TI in in that that experience experience combined combined with with the the other other lessons. lessons. I I learned learned it it so so consistent consistent stay stay with with me, me, my my whole whole career, career, and and I I look look back back because because I I had had a a chance chance to to go go back back to to General General Motors Motors and and IBM IBM which which I'd I'd also also worked worked at at and, and, you you know, know, if if I'd I'd taken taken that that easy easy path path which which actually actually paid paid more more money money than than what what Silicon Silicon Systems Systems offered, offered, you you know, know, we've we've never never learned learned as as quickly quickly as as they they did did it it growth growth company. company. And And I I also also think think it it would would have have delayed delayed in in in in maybe maybe even even prevented prevented me me from from ever ever starting starting a a business. business. So So the the taking taking that that path path less less traveled traveled in in the the more more difficult difficult path path I I really really recommend recommend especially especially when when you're you're beginning beginning your your career. career. "Yo filling in for Amy Lawrence CBS sports radio coming up, at the top of the hour former NFL quarterback with the Dallas Cowboys now calls their games. On the compass media radio network Danny white is gonna, join us fifteen minutes from now but we go to you on. The phone stock and urban Meyer and, the question I have right now With the three-game, suspension, of urban Meyer and all that transpired Ohio State change your, opinion if you are a parent that is looking to send your child to the Ohio State. University to play football under urban Meyer so that's the, question I have right now let's go to kneel in South Carolina. Has been holding patiently what's up Neil I was still. Send my child to a house state or. Because I would appeal to the media after camping fail to get him fired And those by that scare tactics Neil Neil Neil Neil nail hold on when you say the media here Oh yeah but you're calling, someone, that's, in, the media. Right now. You're generalizing too much here Neil Well guess what real. America is not on the coast Wow middle America nail real miracle Neil do? You think my life is any different this story either why do you think I'm not gonna be able to do my. Job if I don't have this story because absolutely can. This story does not affect my job in one second it does not affect my life if you think, we're, sitting here and I'm hoping that a story like Tolls Oh. Eight, oh go. Buck, yeah. Neil, well you're. Dope all, right. Neil you're. Dope how 'bout you actually be a human being and you separate what is right and. Wrong it's the media's fault Yeah. Yeah I blame the media let's blame the media because urban Meyer didn't notify Ohio State in two thousand. When they when they hired Zac Smith that, he's, been arrested in two thousand and nine but let's notify the media that urban Meyer failed to do his job. By getting rid of Zac Smith when Zac Smith was not doing his job posters divorce coming late to meetings and also not shown up to. Recruiting visits that say he, was. Going on AOL it's also blame the media bourbon Meyer for allowing Zac Smith to go to a strip club and. Spent six hundred dollars on a recruiting trip, I'll just blame the media man I'll tell you people in the Penn State mass people. In the. Michigan, state mass. People, in. The, highest state. Mass there's, some, people that. Will just defend defend defend their school and they can't separate right and wrong and they. Can't separate their phantom And they'll blame the media man and. You gotta come up a, little. Bit better than just chanting o h I o how would you articulate a little bit of a point and actually. Make your point instead of just sounded like, a moron let's, go to Chuck in Cleveland next up CBS sports radio what's up Chuck Hey how you. Doing can you hear me yeah I can. Hear you great, Chuck go? Ahead Well, thank you I have to say that I think our. Room Myers scumbag I always have along the same lines, of Nick Sabin but. This is, ridiculous I mean I'm a huge Ohio safe and I have a son that is six three right now he's. In eighth grade so football or, basketball is passed, and you know hopefully you could, rise those rings but I would never send my son to play, for over Myers. That's, for sure This is a joke I'm. Going to go as far as, much as saying, that I think that if urban, Meyer would have done this job that it's a possibility for sure, granted that Aaron Aaron Hernandez for never killed that. Person yeah I can't go that far in that conversation I can't put that one on on. Urban Meyer Foley So I think. That's a little bit of a stretch but there is a pattern of, thirtysomething pliers at Florida getting arrested so. There, is a culture around there there was no. Doubt about it when he was the coach of Florida He's a scumbag and I think we need to get rid. Of them right now because nobody's going. On how you recruit outside of the stay right now with urban Meyer It's very simple because, you're a highest state urban Meyer puts kids in. The NFL whether you like or. What. You don't like what he did and I'm someone that is against. What he did but, the reality of the situation is Ohio states they'll get, a get big time recruits people are still. Going to want to play it for, urban Meyer now. Some may not but there's also a thing called getting into the NFL an urban Meyer putz players. In the NFL and if you. Get into. The NFL you're, making money so. They're, still going to be people. That want to go play for urban Meyer because of that let's go to Scott in Michigan next up CBS sports radio what's up Scotty hey thanks for taking my call So to. Answer your. Question I think, well I'm a. Michigan, fan so I would never We. Took a call for Michigan, that's where, that, that was going to go for go ahead I would never send. My kid. To I mean whether they're a student or a football player but also just morally I wouldn't. I wouldn't trust. Putting my my kid into the hands of urban Meyer as as. A coach I just morally it's just wrong a, couple of quick thoughts on on. The situation so what I think that that he urban Meyer what's has the recent press conference I think that. He is kind of making himself feel like the victim or, that he's that he's the victim he doesn't understand why is. There. And, why in this situation but really the only victim in the situation as Courtney Smith totally so and. Then another thought I liked this had, seen urban Meyer get fired just as a Michigan fan but if he's not since he's not I would have rather seen the the three games suspension rather be, like more hyped up games like. A like a Michigan, game or Michigan state or Penn. State or Wisconsin or something like that rather than. Just the I three. Games. That aren't really that vital to the you know what I mean yeah well that's just because of your. Own personal bias I think the penalty, is soft I expected the penalty to be week for what actually did occur now he's gonna miss the game up against the top twenty five team but Oregon, state and Rutgers and I can be missing urban Meyer But yeah they. Could have definitely have have done more and. They could have on college basketball. We've seen, coaches get suspended for conference games but in this. Case it's three games that's, the penalty you may not like it but Ohio State. Is is going to stick with what they elected to do and urban. Meyer is probably still going to go on to win a lot more football games and that's what people care about in college athletics is how much? You, win it's unfortunate but that's why urban Meyer still has, a job if this was? DJ. Durkin, who loses y'all be even no longer have. A job this was Brady Hoke. Your Michigan fan and Brady wouldn't have a job but since he's urban. Meyer and he's never lost and I've had a losing season and, he's won three national championships and one two at Florida state yeah Nothing is. He's gotta, keep his job and there's only you coaches in. The country that could be, able to do that and ever Meyer for his case. Is one of them and he's lucky he didn't get more than three. Games because he easily could have went more than three games let me go to Rick also in South Carolina next up CBS sports radio what's up. Rick Hey how's it, going. Hey I, would definitely send my son so. Ohio, State, I don't think it was fair I think. Society we, wanna punish everybody around instead of pushing the person that. Committed the crime I mean let's just let's actually punish the victim let's punish the victims mom I don't I mean you won't urban Meyer to be the coach the. Mentor disguise pre oh his mom white says no I mean he. Could only do so much well he he's the highest paid state employees in Ohio so, it's you have to do a little bit more than that but when you are the. CEO of Ohio State football and you see a pattern here and I'm assuming you don't mean punish the victim and punish. The victim's. Mother I think you're talking about the person that allegedly did the crime but when you have a pattern here and urban Meyer controls his job status in Smith you need to do. More and you need to get this guy out of the program this is an expendable wide. Receiver coach and urban Meyer thought it was important to keep, them for, whatever. The reasons were It was a poor judgment on urban Meyer and something that's gonna, take a big hit on his reputation and now he has to live with it eight. Five five two one two four CBS when we come back we talked to Danny white a little bit about the Cowboys I'm.
