Justice Neil Gorsuch: Biden Admin Has Been Going 'Agency to Agency' to Enact Vaccine Mandate

"Noel Gorsuch justice Gorsuch at the oral argument cut 9 go Now you are you we should not consider the major questions doctrine unless and until we find a statutory ambiguity I understand that But let's say the court does find such an ambiguity I know you'll contest the premise but let's just work on it If there is an ambiguity why isn't this a major question that therefore belongs to the people's representatives of the states and in the halls of Congress Given that the statute at issue here is as the chief justice pointed out 50 years old doesn't address this question the rule effects I believe we're told 80 million people and the government reserves the right to extend it to every private business in the country Traditionally states have had the responsibility for overseeing vaccination mandates I rejected a challenge to one just the other day from New Mexico Congress has had a year to act on the question of vaccine mandates already As the chief justice points out it appears that the federal government is going agency by agency as a workaround to its inability to get Congress to act The risks imposed here are not unilateral There are risks to those who choose not to be vaccinated that they're trying to avoid sometimes as you discuss with justice Alito and conceded to him Traditionally osha has had rules that affect workplace hazards their unique to the workplace and don't involve hazards that affect individuals 24 hours a day No so what So what To policy decision don't you see It's a policy decision

How 'Taking Leave of Darwin' Author Neil Thomas' Colleagues Reacted to His Latest Work

"Are the folks I'm talking to Neil Thomas, his book is taking leave of Darwin a longtime agnostic discovers the case for design. Neil, you were just about to tell us, because I think this is at the heart of all of this stuff. The way people respond to logic to evidence, when you did this investigation, you as someone who had been known as a longtime agnostic, naturalist, darwinist, you showed some colleagues, what you found. And did you say they were dismissive were they were they embarrassed? Were they, did they feel they had to back away because you'd obviously gone crazy? How did it play out? Well, they were never less than polite, of course. Of course, you're in England. What could we expect? But they were, they were not responsive to what I was having to say. Let us put it that way. And I remember the one lady who's retired Professor of French in London, who I asked her to do a review for Amazon. And I expected to drop off a few lines. And not think anything of it. But she. Instead transferred the manuscript, the electronic form of. To biology professor, who, of course, did not think did not agree with me. And so she framed her interpretation in lying with what a biologist colleague had said. Instead of actually looking at it with an unbiased mind. Let's put it that way. That is my interpretation of what happened.

Why Professor Neil Thomas Decided to Review Eric's Latest Book 'Is Atheism Dead?'

"The book we discuss on this program, your book is taking leave of Darwin. So if anybody's interested in what you have to say on the subject, that's the first place they should look, taking leave of Darwin, but recently, I believe that stream dot org, you wrote, no, I'm sorry. Where did you post your original referring to? Okay, evolution. It's pronounced evolution, please. Evolution. News. Is it dot org? I can't quite remember evolution. All I know is that if you Google it, it'll take you straight there. Evolution news. Which I think is related to the discovery institute. But you wrote three reviews of a raft of books dealing with these subjects, one of which I was flattered to see was my own new book is atheism dead. So let's talk about that. Because people want to read what you have to say on this, I recommend they go to evolution news or evolution news. Either way, they should go there. But so what do you say roughly in these articles? Yes, it's a case of leverage and leverage I'm afraid. It's one of these. Well, I was looking at your book is atheism dad, along with Steven Myers book return to the guard hypothesis on something called a God of the details by Christian bandia. And I was looking at the sort of continuity and the fact that the three of you sort of came out against a simple sort of idea received ideas about darwinism and sort of thought your own ways and I admired that. And I thought that this should, this should be foregrounded in some way, which is more reason I decided to do the review.

'Taking Leave of Darwin' Author Neil Thomas Discovers the Case for Design

"Thomas welcome. Nice to be with you again. The book is taking leave of Darwin. You I just want to get this clear. So most of your life, you were indeed a committed agnostic or atheist and certainly a committed darwinist. When and how did you decide that you wanted to look into this, so to speak? Well, it was when I had the leisure to do so, I think when after retirement, did you say leisure reading a few well leisure you said leisure? We say leisure, but I want you to know that we don't mind if you say leisure. In fact, we prefer it. We should be clear with the audience. You don't just sound English. You are in fact in England as we speak. I am indeed, yes. Best of London. I want to be, I want to be clear, you're in England. So thanks for tuning in. I know the time change complicates things. But so for the first time in your life, you had the opportunity, the time the leisure as you put it to do it. And were you, I always say, when people are surprised by something. I mean, obviously, you were surprised by what you encountered. But this is a strange question. Were you surprised to be surprised? Yes, I think so. Because after a long life, you would have thought that I would have twigged this already. And I think I was culpable to the extent that I hadn't actually investigated this as I should have.

Why Omicron Can't Cancel Christmas

"A crime was basically announced right after Thanksgiving. It was the new variant. Made the stock market plummet. New York in anticipation of a Macron decided to re-engage and lockdowns, mask mandates vaccine mandates on a cron is something that we must be very afraid of is what we're told. Oh Macron, if you just watched Fauci, the NIH and the CDC, it sounds like this is COVID two. It is mutating in a more vicious, deadly and aggressive manner. What's really going on here? How many people have actually died? Of all Macron. Is the virus getting stronger or is the virus getting weaker? Well, according to Neil Ferguson, who was the original lockdown artist, he was the person that originally, the imperial college study, way back at the beginning of the pandemic in March of 2020, he has even come out and he said that Amy Kron is 45% less likely to cause hospitalization than delta, by the way, that's without factoring an Ivermectin hydroxychloroquine azithromycin vitamin D levels vitamin C, obesity age, underlying health conditions, intravenous intervention, aspirin melatonin or Qin. And if you're not able to rattle off all those treatments, I encourage you to listen to our podcasts and equip yourself. Your government wants you to be scared and unprepared. Your government wants you to be fearful and confused. There are legitimate interventions and treatments that could potentially help you. Get to know them. Do not leave yourself or your loved ones helpless, trusting the federal government or the bullet bureau going into Christmas. 45% less likely to cause hospitalization than delta, according to a major British study by Neal Ferguson. Among the previously infected, the risk of hospitalization from a drop by as much as 69% for both the vaccinated on the unvaccinated. So what does that tell us? That means that if you've had COVID before, even if you get COVID again, it's likely not to be as intense.

Exposing the Ignorance and Evil Behind the Pandemic with Alex Berenson

"Yes, so let's just start there. I mean, February 2020, you were like investigating marijuana and other things and then the virus comes and you just decided, I'm gonna start looking into this and I started to come across your stuff on sub stack where, you know, Aaron gin, who you might know is another guy that was really into it in the early days. And I was so outspoken about the lockdowns and I was we were really into it because I really had nothing else to do. Everything was locked down. And I'm by no means an expert, but just my common sense instincts that something's wrong and you are so informative and so courageous early on, walk us through that because you probably never planned to be center stage of one of the most important medical issues that humanity's ever faced. No, I certainly didn't. And, you know, I was working on a book about really about U.S. drug policy that would have been and I hope to write one day still a follow-up to tell your children sort of broadly about this, you know, the epidemic of legalization, the sort of very broad campaign to legalize drugs that we've seen and not just cannabis, but really all drugs that we've seen in the last ten or 15 years. And so I was working on that and then of course, you know, like everybody else, I saw the videos coming out of China. I think we were all pretty nervous back in January and February. And then in March 2020 and I talk about this in pandemia, I've read that Neil Ferguson report the imperial college London report that said, oh, if we don't do anything, 2 million Americans will die, but even worse, if we do, if we do mitigate a million Americans will die and we need to really lock down our society. And, you know, within days that started to happen in New York and California and everywhere else, and then and then amazingly to me, Neil Ferguson totally changed his prediction. Ten days after releasing this report that really shocked the world and pushed the United States and Europe into Loch Ness, he basically said, oh, you know what? I was wrong. I was wrong by 95%. Did I say 500,000 deaths? I'm at 20,000. Okay, so look, the science or the data was evolving very fast around the coronavirus. Back at that time. And everybody's got the right to look at new data and change their views. But what was shocking to me was that the media was not willing to acknowledge what Ferguson had

"neil even" Discussed on Blogging the Boys

"You can kind of expand on And then we'll move on to another hot topic in in cowboys loin. This is kind of what i was going to bring up. I was gonna bring up. The fact that it's appeared as if montana's donovan wilson jerry around curse me cooker and daring and thompson are all kinds of the favorites here so they would need to keep five at least because kasi wilson curse and hooker making this team i think they love dairy and thomson as well i for the life of me. Don't understand it and that's not a knock against staring thomson or trying to be negative. I just think that the other five or better. Football players from what i've seen on the field and let it because the nfl can't get. Its crapped together. I can't actually watch the ultimate of these teams to see how they are actually playing outside of. Just what i see on the broadcast but what i've seen on the broadcast is is room equality making some place And i i feel like with that length with the Couple of years that he played at south carolina at cornerback. Before moving to the safety position. I think that he's still kind of learning it. And i think that he has a ton of upside at the position and he has a tunnel length in length is something that you guys know. I've talked about it a bunch. I hated corner. But i like that length. That safety is you're able to move israel. Mcquay can move a little bit so yeah. It's it's going to be tough. If we lose many ends up you know getting picked up off waivers but at the end of the day man. I just wanna see all these guys succeed and if he gets picked up somewhere ends up going and contributing somewhere else we lost out on a safety but at the end of the day you you don't expect him to be your starter anyways and i said at the end of the day twice which is something that we brought stephen up. Call what you talk about a little bit too. But i was also wondering like do you think there's a cia and again this. This is kind of big brain thinking it. But is there a chance that they only carry five corners. A key Who is like the fifth safety slash six corner in emergency situation. I could see that I guess who would you be. Would it be living off at corner. or you just adding. That's the thing man. It's so tough. I don't know if you can look at that situation. Yeah i mean the retraces jaunt logic makes just to talk about them. So people listening aren't doing themselves obviously a corner. Trayvon got kelvin. Joseph you've got new sean right. You got john lewis. You've got anthony burnham. I don't see them leaving. Las maurice kennedy after the off-season he had but he's still playing the third and fourth quarters of preseason games too so like that could be one that everyone on twitter. Every one of us is like what are you doing but daylight jordan they like anthony brown and maybe they look at it as yo you know we can get away with it. But i wouldn't love that either. Don't get me wrong. But i like. That's kind of move. Or maybe they keep candidate move on from jordan lewis or something like that. So the i guess the main reason why. I'm saying he does make the rosser of wine when i give a different opinion in the all too Because it logically make sense of. How steven mentioned him Might not be a spot on the roster for him. I mean just thinking about safety situation is a whole lot. We thought through saying how depleted they are right now. Now i know. I mean some of its precaution of they'll be protocols and all that kind of stuff but cities position. They've already been week at for while. Now obviously have some optimism. Donna wilson. You're hoping cooker brings values will casey's looked nice But said that there is not really something that i personally am couple boy. If one of those guys goes down which we obviously hookers struggled. Injuries threats entire career Casey's coming up. Achilles injury himself Then you would out you and when a guy like israel and the roster just for safety You notice for safety net behind them not to mention the talent he brings to the table so i think if they do wanna go deep go long at safety. I could see them keeping him. But yeah it's it's. I guess it's trying to figure out where they go short at On the roster brand make it by degree if they do cut him. I don't see him making the practice squad without somebody else. Picking them up. Yeah i Let's move only got a few more minutes that do wanna touch on jalen smith. That's been a big topic of conversation. Obviously he's been talked a lot about on on twitter after a. I guess you could say. I mean truthfully like you guys know like i'm not a jalen smith like true third defender or anything like that. I do think he probably gets a little too much criticism at times. So i i try to at least be a little fair with him. But truthfully like i don't know other than like making some nice run feels like we haven't seen a play in training. Camp that was highlighted by the video team. We haven't seen a plan in preseason. That really just made you go. Wow like it's been a uae off season for jalen smith and it's been talked about a ton. Jerry was on the radio today. This'll be out tomorrow so you probably already heard. It was on the radio today and he was asked about jalen and instead of answering the question on jalen pretty much talked about how good late vander issues but how he struggled stay healthy. How good. mike. Parsons is low. Tau kiana neal's a safety transit but he never said anything about jalen smith. I just wanna talk about john smith for a little bit like where we add on him is. See the you know. He's not going to get cut. I think we're all in agreeance there that that just doesn't make any sense to cut him right now because of his contract situation should they have moved on from him back in march. That's a conversation for different time. They didn't know they were gonna fall under. Michael parsons at gebriel cox. So i don't even like that kind of you know. I think that's a little hindsight twenty twenty to say that they should have done that in march but like i wanted to discuss a jalen smith thing air out all our grievances and in sewer. Everybody is on smith but a cold. I'll start with you where you out on jalen smith. What are your thoughts on his off season. And what are your thoughts on him and his future in dallas. Yeah i mean. I will say some of the edicts of criticism is probably a little bit overboard I mean sorry. I guess he brings apartments because of the brandy tries to build on that which i don't really blame for but i think that's why he rubs some fans there are way With the swipe being everything like that like you said he's decided quiet preseason he can even say maybe a little bit of his appointing bracing. Which is the last thing he really afford. When you bring in three linebackers this off. Season with the calgary Parsons boxing kiana neil You would think he was battling for established role for that starting position. Still you would have had at least one like you say. He's he doesn't have one play. Can point to as. I can still do this or do that. so yeah i mean. He won't be cut because the doesn't make financial sense of. I think we all will be pretty surprised that he's on the team next year but as far as this year. I don't see how he gets more. Snap stan Parsa instant bandrich than neil even cocked. His playing pretty well in the preseason. He had some special team values well. I don't really know where he bit on the roster and ano-. Pf app is in the end. All be all those. Preseason discount hearted take all their grades With you know one hundred percent and everything like that is interesting. That anthony hinds. Excuse me anthony hinds at a higher. Pf grade jalen smith. This preseason anthony hinds was When i buy players cut. So i mean i say the greatest inaba just kinda shows paint a picture of what his off season and preseason has been like He's in a bad position right now. I don't know how he climbs out of it. I'm curious how they They you know. Do the snap count and everything. How split that a love. They still give him um starter like snappy his salary or the all in on the new guys i think it'll be fascinating to watch. We really don't think could have afforded the preseason. These had to this point..

"Absolute but it makes chance the more likely that you will be able to sit in the final. So i like the longest jets got. She's had this for a couple of weeks. Claire and i really wish that you know getting on board doesn't really matter. You need get a lot of other people on board. That are not going to budge. So you're goes to illicit goes to xavier with this with this sort of found sense of like okay. Maybe i wanna potentially keep brittany in the game. She essentially makes the pitch to exert your that. Big de- should go in that. They should keep a brittany. She thinks that clear makes a good case. Xavier obviously not really into it. He says that he feels like a britney's silicone. She agrees it britney should still go but it's worth thinking about And this is one of those situations where like she's like. Yeah yeah brittany should go. But here's a bunch of reasons why she should stay. But i still wanted to go. But here's some more reasons why she should stay thinking about And so sarah. Beth joining the conversation. They talk with her about it. Sarabeth also feels like those are good arguments keep big d or to to To get rid of big d But she also thinks that brittany should ultimately leave And obviously she's not going to want to go against a thailand which is going to be the biggest hurdle in getting all the non cookout members on board with this question though. Does anybody any. Non lookout members know that allah is considering throwing a sympathy. Vote to brittany because i would love clarita. Get that information not shared that with anybody and then maybe like behind the scenes get everybody else. Vote for her and then they can just have this flip happen oops. yeah claire. has this information. She talked to me about it. She feels that Allah is a locked in vote for britney to stay which means that all they need is four more to make it not even touch collins desk essentially and so so Tiffany actually tried to rebut this by saying like. Oh well don't you think what if is is just giving brittany a sympathy vote. And if she knows that the votes are actually there to keep brittany she might not actually vote that way. Have you thought about that. And she said nope. That's not the case. Britain is fully on board to vote her to stay no matter what. so so. Claire knows and and tiffany and cookout knows subsquently that's They are expecting ossets. Vote that way which is really just another hurdle in their way because if they do get the votes and they're expecting allah and changes for vote. Why all of a sudden it's like wide now change your vote. So that's that's another hurdle that they're having to face here now does cook need to stay like anonymous at this point like can't be out in the open like let's sing is like we're fighting for something bigger than that. It's like do do your best. But he's going to be out in the open with at this point because then they could be a little bit more free and in their games. I mean they could be but ultimately like that's that's kind of like Like if they need to be then they still have solid platform to go off of correct. But there's also no point in not trying to remain secret since that does give you additional equity in terms of staying staying together staying Preventing people from targeting of you at once. So you know it's definitely worth making Making sure that people don't know that your thing but it's you know it's because it's not like it's not like it makes their gamini easier Jeremy yes Just like yeah. It's the it's a fallback essentially trying to avoid it so much. It's kind of like they're gonna find out anyway. Let's just ease up a little bit. But no i see your point. Yeah so talks to the cameras. She says this is a pretty interesting. Shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone but she says to the cameras. I really want to win next week. I really wanna put thailand on the block. And i really want to send thailand home next week. I really i would do that. If not or because. I would really want to do that but i won't but i really want to do that. I really want to see that. I'm sorry like i want. I want to see her do that. He's been trading this week to watch our end as well so i would love to see her get some revenge get some power dislike. Do admixed something happening in game. But she wouldn't have the votes to do it so it wouldn't be possible of course and we know the cause is something that's driving this six of them their their mission in this game so i want to see her put them up though because i think she said that she wanted to see him squirm so like on the block for the entire week. See how it feels like. I'm into that secondarily but so Is going to talk about the vote and Keilan kind of starts bhai being like. Yeah you know. I could go either way ultimately comes around to. I do prefer brittany leaving. Claire says she's she's been about fifty fifty on it. She says she thinks it's worth thinking about Kylian doesn't okay job here with glare and then completely drops the ball with derek. Who comes in afterwards saying that. He thinks britney should stay collins responses essentially. I mean you know. Let's talk to everyone about it and see what they think. Let's like essentially have a vote. You know see what what. The group thinks where everyone stands and derek sidewalk on a stand. I think brittany should stay. I'm like sixty forty. Well i'm like seventy five twenty five britain But let's talk about. Let's talk about it with everyone and like this is the opposite of what tiffany wanted him to do his now. He's like yeah. I mean i would prefer neil even but if the group wants to keep her then we can do that. And it's like no that's she's trying to the you have to. Then stay all.

"Great Cruise Rights to Buffalo for Jack. Eichel. Oh. We didn't think about that one or David Krejci? WHO's got one year left and has a partial movement clause. So I I'm sure he would love. To go up to late like many he will go up to buffalo especially in the winter I'm sure he would love to go up. There is what they had mentioned that I just WanNa, add it in. Many birds fans love the guys in the Bruins is only few. They don't like you know they love mcevoy they love creed. Most love Rask some don't. Why would you want to send a player you love to Buffalo. Why would that be something you WanNa do especially crew but I will say is we're also forgetting that crew wants to win a cop. The has not won one yet Spend a lot executive wants to win one in Boston. When you look at it, I mean came Neil. Even said it if we honest with the roster I know the Bruins of opened up with the fourth best odds for next season to go back to the. Go to the Cup final. But the avalanche in the Golden in Vegas seemed closer and they're on that list of suitors and I think I would not be surprised to see them make a move for him and say, Hey, we'll give you six and a half seven million. A will do it for eight years and you'RE GONNA, you're with A. Younger set or core that. Is Probably GonNa win more over the next eight years in the bruins might. And that could be attractive through guy like Denver's is Area Vegas people. Love people have been loving outliving in Vegas free agents going there so. I it's funny. I wouldn't be surprised to see him do that either because Detroit the winnings not guaranteed really with the Bruins the money and the term isn't you go to Colorado Vegas maybe they have it, the panthers have also been mentioned. They've mentioned a lot too because I think I forget who reported it but I think saying that they think floor is going to be big players for reviews. Saying it. Yeah and then they send the panthers were also going to be plays for trainer as well. So..

Simple answer might be an order of events but I don't have it either a simple or complex answer all I can tell you is i. Don't know well let's start from the beginning. This a Wilson wanted a manicure when he was dying. Why you said you thought you knew the reason who would say. I still think I know the reason. How do I prove what I think? There's one way and Vance. It might be the answer to that question you asked about. Where do I begin? Listening wants the one way. Why not check back at the barbershop? Where Wilson dive? Perhaps shop has some connection with his death and the reason he insisted on having his nails done. Good I M Oxfam. That's where I'm going for a little interview with that. Barbershop manicures. "Dodo Dodo. To don't don't don't don't don't don't do make it to the locker room but you notice that like One KUPA that might be driver Kind of like notices you in like things. It's maybe just like kind of winter is a little bit. And then like he sort of walks starts walking towards the the locker room to just to check on what's going on He's walking real fast or anything. Probably got a couple of minutes where he gets there. Have we noticed that he's noticed us? Yes we have feel that okay way. Did he notice both of us or did he just notice? Mario was I- stealthy enough. That he just noticed Mario since you were. You weren't trying to be unseen. You were just trying to blend. And so that's why he's coming to check on what's going on and you've got a couple. He's like a cross the garage so so you've got a couple minutes in this room before what I'm going to do is Business as usual. I'm GONNA pretend like I'm just your regular role Joe Cuba and walk up to a locker and open it. There is uniform here. It would probably fit a human. You are not Joe Kupa. You will not anyone into thinking you're dokoupil you'll have to just be Joe Human Human Plant. Remember that there's not a lot of human so you already sort of stick out also in this room. I assume equipment particularly up against one wall there are like some backpacks that look like they're different Like just like backpacks that are different tools. Like one of them. Looks like it's like a welder. Backpack like it's got a little welding gun that's attached to Some sort of power source backpack. There's like a power washer backpack like flights There's there's There's a vacuum backpack. Shh SHH SHH be subtle flavor. I grabbed the bag. That looks like it belongs to a security officer. There is not one of those. This is not that kind of Sorry it's not. That kind of this is a. This is a handyman's sort of garage. This is like what would it be in the grow uniforms or garage? Uniforms are saying well but there's like gender uniforms in here too. Okay cool janitor uniform so so much Washer. Pay so much for the prisoner idea. Okay Mario. You're doing great buddy an honestly. Thank you for not talking. You did a good job with that but that over there may have noticed that. So would you be cool with putting on a uniform? I tell you what I'll put on this backpack he That looks like it is a Washer Andrea. Okay awesome thank you. I'M GONNA put on the one that looks like it's a welder's backpack okay. Good Do you want to. Do you want to describe what your uniforms look like? I'll let you guys that make that little. I don't think Mario put one on. I did not put on a uniform. Just the backpack will. What were you already where I was already wearing my standard uniform. It is a red jumper with blue sleeves blue pockets a blue collar and a red hat and I put on this jumper. That is black. And it's got spikes on their shoulders. I was trying to force you the like pick a color for Porsche. Like how like Mario is no no no no no no? I would have never ever ever expected you to say. It's black horses. The black character. Yeah I like it Jesse. I'm perfectly fine. If courses like color scheme is is like why over. Its got spike. Shoulders live man. I just love. Marin the weeds. He's like night polite. Nice Goss sister. Positive positive fits really nice and snug. And she's like Oh. This is nice. I'm just going to have to keep this one. I will let you be black and purple. Okay perfect black and purple. It's purple accents. Purple stealing like warriors deal a little bit? But whatever you want you can own purple why is purple and yellow. It's completely different yesterday. His main thing is yellow isn't it? Yeah Okay Anyway. So yeah you good this Kupa comes in here any goes like. Oh Hey you guys good. Of course what good. Why wouldn't we be good witches suiting up for job? Here's guys were just you guys would just Walking kind of where. Where were you late of course with the late talent? Please don't tell anyone I need. You know I'm already an outsider. They they already don't even want to hire my kind here. Please fire us. No no no no. He's like it's cool to do my due diligence and come check on things. But if you're good you better go you better. Great thank you thank you. What was your name Colorado Punk Kurato? I'm thank you Colorado. Nice to meet and I'm James. We all blasted off once again. Thank you thank you Colorado. Let's Hustle James. We'll see you in the Grand Canyon. You can kind of you can see the door that leads into what you assume is the castle proper and I assume you go through it for the sake of time I would like to check it for traps so good idea. There's no joke I've made another five. There's no there's no traps I would like to roll. I would like to roll check on the door exception. Check you walk into this room. And it's like it's kind of like the main lobby of this tower It seems to be pretty much all new like it wasn't part of the old castle This front lobby is also kind of like a Bizarre Museum Particularly there's a lot of like glass display cases with With skeletons of different Chilean creatures. Probably most of them are like Kupa. Skeletons This is very strange what these people do here. It is poor so you you know this is weird even for Neil's even for neo visor city There's no one else in this room. Though you actually. Surprisingly the lobby does not really have much in the way of security There are a set of double doors of of at the end of this room. Now we don't WanNa go through those double doors obviously outside will. That's there's other doors that go outside. There's two double doors so really thin castle. We'll say there's an there's an as an elevator. How many doors are on the elevator? Well it's one but it's it's like two doors wide. Oh that's tricky. One should be go through that door Mario. If my architectural planning classes ever stayed in my brain for for regular castles I believe they would hold people in Dungeons located in a basement. Type area down. Of course perfect would be a good direction to go. Is there a button? Y'All many buttons are there I mean there's there's Times but there's definitely a of the elevator we're on the no you can go up and how we would ever they wanna hit the down button down. But we press the DOWN BUTTON DOWN BUTTON. The the doors open And a very large elevator which is cool as Unfortunately there's not much space in the elevator because it is filled almost entirely with GOUMAS. Oh.

"We're back with more disruptive and design today. We're talking with Recovering Racist Daniel. Justo before the break. I left you with a practical example. And Ask for your opinion you May. Dm us with that opinion or participate on our social media. Polls but here's Daniel Dancer to our real life example. I believe it is and if we were to just turn that situation around and he not be the one talking about his personal experiences being. You know bad with racist which I'd WanNa dig into. Why is there something about him is? Is he doing something to provoke knowingly or unknowingly to have these bad experiences but besides that You know imagine you were to turn the tables around and be like wow you know I totally hear what you're saying. It doesn't sound like you're racist. It's just your personal experience but my personal experiences that you know whenever I've interacted with people of Asian descent. It's been very bad and then you were to just go on like five or six examples of very bad experiences. You've had with Asian people. I wonder how he would feel about that. I wonder if he would be like what's up with this guy. This guy is racist. Why is he talking like this? Does he think I'm that way? And so what if you were like? Yeah I've had all these bad experiences with people who are Asian so please pull over the car because I want to get out of the car right now and I'm not GonNa pay you and I'm GonNa give you a bad review on Uber. You know. I'm sure he would have a very different. Feel if you were to ask them. Hey this is just my personal experience. Do you think I'm racist on? This is my personal experience. Oh yeah let your personal experience but there's more to dig in there even though it's just your personal experience why what why what's going on in those individual things. We come back to that question the helpful question of why. Why is this happening? Why do we have this prejudice? What is going on in our lives but even beyond those questions. We have to know how to navigate through the personal experiences of people. People have had negative experiences. Let it be black people with white people or why people with black people or Latin Americans with Asians or Asians with whites or whatever it is. People have had negative experiences 'em positive experiences with different groups of people. So how do we navigate through that Daniel tells us his answer? I have two comments on that. The first is that there's a power dynamic at play So with like you know women who have had bad experiences with men I see that as men having power over women in many different respects and so there's that and so there's also in race dynamics wipe people had had had and still do have power over black people and so when there is this power dynamic we have to take that into account Second with people who had bad experiences I have a story that touches on exactly this so my wife is black nine and she was at a store in just a block away from the Church that I pastor and There has been a rash of break ins and thefts and that kind of thing in Tacoma Park and there have been a few videos of people breaking into stores that have been shared amongst the small business owners me included as far as passer co part church and so like two or three not all of them two or three of these videos were African Americans who broke into the store and stole whatever they still and so my wife and this has just happened in the last week or two. So my wife. Who's African Americans? She goes into the store And she's greeted by the owner and He says you could look around as long as you don't shoplift anything and my wife who is a grown woman a mother a PhD Graduate You know all these accolades she has. She was reduced instantaneously To a shoplifter. Right across the street from where I pastor and so this guy this this owner May have seen these couple of videos of a few African Americans who broke into the store. And you know now. He sees another African American woman. Walk into the store and he just can't say that it's just not right even though he's had these personal experiences. Because if we were to just go by the images that we see on media You know when she sees him at the door would. Is She going to say. Oh you know. Is it okay if I come in here? You look like a mass shooter. Because mass shooters are all white older white men so it's like we can't reduce ourselves to You know stereotyping in a way that disqualifies people before we even have a chance to interact with them. Daniel mentioned there something helpful for us. We cannot reduce people to the images that we have seen the images. The have been fed to us so I asked him. What is something that we can do to reshape those images to change our perspective about others? I think we have to create new images. We have to tell new stories like for example here. In the south there are thousands of monuments. Commemorating the confederacy. And so why? Are those the only statues around? Why can't we have statues of Mlk Of Bryan Stevenson. Who's doing amazing things? Doing like prophetic work in setting people. He Harvard Graduate Harvard Law School graduate. going taking cases to the Supreme Court. You know showing the mockery of that some of these death penalty cases are. Why aren't we celebrating? More people like this right now. It's black history month going to start tomorrow and it's like you know maybe for a few days or a few weekends we think about these things a little bit more But a lot of people don't even black history month so I think part of the way to break the cycle are new images news stories celebrating new heroes. That aren't just old white men who have a lot of skeletons in their closet and think the second thing too is To be friend people and more so than you know a your co worker at friend is black and so now you could say well. I'm not racist because I have a black friend even though you really don't know your co worker you've never asked them. Hey what has been your experience with race. I think that would be huge. That would go so far. If more of our white brothers and sisters would ask more of our black and Brown brothers and sisters what has been your experience with race and to hear firsthand. Not You know in an article not on tv but to hear someone sitting across the table looking at you in your is telling you how they have been impacted telling you how they have been marginalized and how they have been oppressed and hurt by this thing. Well if that's your co worker and you kind of thought he was a nice guy and then he's telling you something that has impacted him so severely. I think that goes a long way into changing the narrative and making new ground so interacting with others and listening to their stories can help us get rid of our racist views and prejudice that we have in our hearts that Neil even had to get rid of some of his views as he started his journey of recovering from racism. Here's Daniel with a story after that a message from one of our sponsors so I grew up in a Catholic environment. My family is Catholic. Portuguese very Catholic oriented community so he grew up Catholic as good. Catholic boy went to Catholic school and my Catholic school was like ninety nine percent white so there was this one of black students in our class. Patrick Man I never forget Patrick and we as elementary school kids would pick on. Patrick and I had no idea why we were picking on him. I just knew he was kind of different. And even in my young mind I still didn't know black and white but I knew he was different and everyone else was picking on him so I was GonNa pick on him too and we did some really bad stuff to Patrick and I feel so bad. And that was an instance where I was totally on the wrong side of history so I carry that image of Patrick now with me saying i. I don't even know how to get in touch with them. I don't know his last name. You know go to facebook type. In Patrick. Five million people will come up and so I want to reach out to Patrick and say I'm sorry For the things that I've done. There's no way that I could reach Patrick but maybe in what I do now the work that I try to do. And and in how? I try to advocate amid this world better for Patrick Sons.

"Hey, and welcome. This is the Ben Shapiro show. Got a lot to get to this hour. We're going to go through the supposed- bombshell. That the FBI was investigating President Trump or maybe being a Russian agent in two thousand seventeen we'll get to that. Plus, we'll get the latest in the shutdown politics. But begin this hour with a new ad out from Gillette. So let's be clear about this. There are a lot of corporations now that are into the virtuous signaling. The reason that are into the virtuous signaling is because it's actually smart marketing, the reason it's more marketing is because they've actually done market research. What they find is that leftists feel more comfortable buying stuff from corporations if the corporations make them feel good about their pet causes whereas conservatives just buy stuff they like meaning that conservatives will watch this stupid Gillette commercial, and there will be no less likely to buy a razor from Gillette leftists watching normal. Gillette commercial, you know, with like biological male shaving like, I don't believe in biological males or shaving. So I'm not going to buy Gillette. So seen a lot of corporations. Do recently is this sort of virtue, signaling routine. It's why you see all of these socially conscious messages from your favorite corporations. Why Nike hires Colin Kaepernick Neil, even though the dude hasn't thrown down as played down in the NFL for a couple of years because they know that they are pandering to pits particular woke social Justice warrior base. Well, now Gillette is doing the same thing. I'm glad for one that a company based on men's shaving their faces is now coming out against Nashville entity annex perfect sense to me, maybe they should just come out against sex altogether. And then we never have to shave. It can be like the women yesterday. Celebrating January who have decided not to shave at all because that just re-instill the patriarchy maybe Gillette can just abandon the razor business altogether. Nobody will shave men women must be Harry balls affir-. We'll look like trappers Mateen seventy-two, it'll be great terrorist. Gillette's commercial the commercial is all about it's so insipid. It's all about how men have embraced toxic masculinity. How they've taught their sons to be. Toxically Nasc Yellen. Ooh. But we should really do maybe start selling razors for for castration because that's the only way to defeat toxic masculinity. Gillette's new stupid commercial. Bullying the material against us masculinity. Is this the best a man can get? Is it? We can't hide. They.
