"Rob the farmers stood by the tipper in theory. He could probably have done this job himself. Like most farmers he has a license and a shotgun and the legal rights to shoot any animal in distress but the vast majority of farmers don't do it they might be rearing the livestock for meat and understand that the animals ultimate destination is an abattoir. But that doesn't mean they like killing no farmer really wants to see the neckermann and they want to pay the ninety five pounds. It costs dispose of a cowl. The seventeen pounds for a sheep is the same as with an old dog. They could do it themselves but they can't. While the bt restriction remained in force on the farm robes cattle could be sold to other forms in a similar situation thus giving him even less opportunity to justify keeping bull calves got to be done he said like he must've said a thousand times before just can't make it work financially. It's a reasonable rule in all but it was clear from the angle of his body and the set of his face. That even though all of this was true. It didn't make it easier. Carswell led the cough out into the art with the smoothness of routine. He pressed the bolt gun to the front of the cavs head and pulled the trigger unnoticed by us. The other cows had come up with standing in a line watching. The cough was out in the open and it was separated from him by thin strand of electric wire. their heads went down. There is with looking back and forth beneath a soft lashes. Their gaze moved from house to the caf lying there on the strollers yard and to us again. I don't have a problem. Killing an animal in distress. Khazal said he drove off. I really don't the quicker. It's done the better. I don't want to see things in pain the times i have a problem. It's killing healthy. And i don't like losing in the fact that they lost six weeks in a row of like sir big rugby fan. Yeah absolutely big big rugby league fence or yes. Yep so yeah that's cool but what doing Pull pull you up on something and you were talking. That other game systems like nick roman mondo like warcry like silva towers. Tracy you got into ages. Seek ma because one you found the bastille don new brought steve with year. But let's say hypothetically. I was bringing my partner into the hubby or trying to bring my partner to the hubby. Maybe introducing them to the board game expect gains workshop. The war cries the underworld killed teams. The blood balls. The lord of the rings Is that a. Is that a a good entry point or do you think things like the forty. Seek bother main game Is a better starting point. I think it's really getting depend on the partner where they're at if they've never had any game experience in their past. I think you're gonna have to start smaller and started slower. We had at least board gamed to where we had some strategies and things like that that you had to take into consideration You don't want to overwhelm them in a big game like us or Or forty k. They can be overwhelming. I think also just because they don't like one of the games doesn't mean that they're not gonna like one of the other games so asking them to give you true feedback about. Hey let's try this. You might like it. You might not but regardless. Don't judge all of the games based on this one. We're going to try to find something that works for you. And when once they have that interest they say okay. Why liked this one better than that one. Okay what did you like about that. And then moving on from there. I think that is the best way to include your partner and that's where it needs to be about them and what they're interested in because once once i was into ls. I was more willing to try forty k. And i was more interested in giving other game systems a try. I did after i started. A os did try neckermann. I try a couple of those other games. It didn't take me. But at least i i was interested enough to give it a shot. I like that because you identify quickly that fantasy was your sean wrong but my partner might be more of the sci-fi so it could be you know if they're be a new star wars it might be introducing their style woods legion I love you know five kings in my wife. We didn't do it this year but we had over twelve hundred volunteers. The last time we had our day of caring so it just keeps growing was intense. I it was amazing. Work is an egg work and we got so much done rewarding to see that afterwards. I'm much better. I'm removing things and planting things. So the fact i just had a cleanup sidewalks was a good good position for me to be an and not planning anything any now. What's kind of coal is that there are a lot of people who have lived on the south side or the side for years and you know maybe they have their little home and they've seen some you know some of the neighborhood maybe deteriorate a little bit because folks have moved out and there hasn't been the upkeep on some of the houses so we have those folks come out to you honestly say. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for cleaning out my neighborhood appreciate all these volunteers so i think what it does to. Is it for the volunteers. Even for myself. It gives us a sense of ownership in these neighborhoods. And i can honestly say that each time i drive by the neighborhoods that we've worked on. I look and say oh. Yeah we did that street. You did that neighborhood and it. It helps to for me to see that that is still take being taken care of in still in good condition are volunteers have become a. We couldn't do our work that volunteers. That's that's where we are now With kobe united way started a weekly food distribution but it was more than a food distribution. What we saw at we see you know the different food. Distributions at the canfield fairgrounds in different places which was in the need was just tremendous. But we saw that. There was a gap in people who maybe were shut in. Elderly didn't have transportation and they couldn't get out to them so for eight consecutive weeks Behind southwards hospital morand skis and pnc were big supporters of this as well neckermann and lamb foundation. We had volunteers pack food. And actually those volunteers would take enough for six stops and they would deliver the food and the the folks were so grateful to receive it. And i know i went myself in. And you forget that there's people who are very much by themselves through on s and and don't even even for the social aspect and we had people calling us and say i have. No food laughed in. I can't get to the grocery store or a food distribution this past saturday. We had seven hundred cars. Come through.

Who's trying to trying to get in life and trying to feel nice but then he gets caught up in like some sort of sort of crazy situation that he's going to like maybe some of the candy being creating has come to life. Is this a situation where i kind of like what you said there about these candy wisit. He spent his whole life studying. It's a fish out of water situation where he somehow cold upon till like destroy a doc dockery something and all because a dog. Nick roman. who's who's like going crazy and started turning all the all the townspeople into into zombies and elizabeth stephanie's he's going to go with each get sugary traits. Old sugar sugar. Okay so what does what does the candy mansa. He's obviously control over can't so he brings to life. He brings like yeah. I'm trying to think what his colleague as have affected spells so yeah he's at these happening to to twist. What would usually be these joyful spells into violent things. So he's many's likely creates a pinata the explodes and just candy. Shrapnel comes out everywhere in all directions. Yeah fucking well. It's like it's like pop rocks and sarita episode ask. I think he can like assign different. May you can assign like different attacks to different gestures. Okay so you can't turn people in into sugar. You can only command. "People are doing similar advances in learning reintegrating the classics math and science and medicine back into the knowledge base of of europeans though it had been preserved in east but it's that the pursuit to reach pure rationality through magic and then to reach magin through rational science. I just like it's so interesting. And what like a delightful middle ground of everything so anyways might yeah. He was a voracious learner and interested in big questions of the day as investigations into the stars in heaven were taking place which could have very dangerous implications for researchers thought to be espousing. Heretical perspectives like alejo. John d. wrote on these topics which he seemed to agree but he was much more careful in his astronomical writings not to oversell like the concepts of heliocentric city which is the premise. That earth circulates the sun and not the other way around which was the s view of the catholic church at this point He was so interested and well-informed that when he met other scholars in europe on his travels in the low countries in germany he became well known and was even offered places at court with the holy roman emperor but declined because by this point in his life. He's older he is protestant. And the emperor time at the time was the holy roman emperor definitely. Yeah okay okay. Interesting yeah probably nod good idea to go back to england after working for like the head honcho of the catholic church really like taking a hot beat. Maybe but like it didn't seem to necessarily be a huge issue. I think what. I gathered from a few different sources. I read on him was that he was a little bit circumspect about being stuck so where does necker mansi come into this. You might wonder. I've been at the study of the human body not quite actually. That's a really good. yes weirdly. no that's like if you look up john d. and neckermann you're just jonty. There's all these weird images of him raising the dead and shit like that but he was like. He was like an armchair scholar. He was not out in the field digging up. It seems like some mud got slung around him. And that's kind of what stuck. He was perceived in his time to be something. Like a hogwarts dumbledore or like. Maybe a baltimore since he kept being accused of sorcery. Dark matter a two very different sides of the spectrum. I think he's more of a dumbledore. Frankly because he's not hurting anybody and he's actually not trying to commune with the devil to enhance his powers. Like there's like a pretty consistent threat of just really being curious about the world and trying to explain it and that's more dumbledore say during the succession crisis..

"Hello worlds travelers. It's abby. We're going to get to our episode in just a moment, and it is amazing, but we have some business to cover before we can get to that I. This is officially the first episode release a June meaning. We've hit pride month. It should come as no surprise to any of our listeners that this is a big month. Month for us as one of the queer actual play podcasts around team tortoise is made up to game in a non binary bisexual and myself who also identifies bisexual. Dustin, bless him is our token straight white man, which isn't unusual dynamic on these kinds of shows, and we try to reflect and celebrate that in the sorts of stories we like to tell. The beginning of June would ordinarily be a huge ramp up in our ongoing constant celebration of all things, queer and we will likely still do a lot of that as this month rolls on, but I, I want to put pride month into its proper context, which is that we would have no openly queer lead content, no podcast parades, and no open celebration of the rich tapestry of human identity without the black and Brown Queer and Trans Women who rioted for five days against the police during the stonewall riots that is the birth of pride and a lot of the rights and visibility queer folk enjoy today. With that in mind and in solidarity, with the black, lives, matter movement, and the protest for George Floyd that were still raging at the time of this recording I'm going to forego plugging our usual stuff and instead encourage all of you to donate to organizations pushing for the civil rights of black Americans. With some support from Patriot and contributions from each we ourselves have donated two hundred and seventy five dollars to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which has since asked that donations be redirected to the black visions, collective and reclaim the block among others will have links to them as well as a few other suggestions that are episode description. If you're interested in, want some direction on where your money would be well spent, but look around for local causes in area, two. I, Adore you, all and I'm so grateful to be a part of the tabletop gaming community. I hope you and your families found blood, or otherwise are all is safe and well as you possibly can be. So now we're going to move on with our silly lovely whimsical ferry, gay little show, take a break from our actual plan of reality and enjoy episode seventy-six serious bummer. I. Do not like crude pebbles. Or lucky charms those are like the two cereals. I can't do them. I can see why. I can understand why I just love that Sh- Pierre Schumer, trash. Cocoa Pebbles. I cannot do. Pals are so super. Good basic bitch when it comes to cereals. Rice, krispies checks and frosted flakes. Aches those are all great I love. I there are very few cereals you could name where I would say I. Don't like that. I like love. Cereal cereal is so good, Kellogg. You're a weird pervert, but you did one good thing. Will is such a great movie. It is a weird movie be. Great are tried to pack. Pass a mini chocolate chip cookies off. It's they call it. The kids don't. Remember, Oreo O's. They came. Early is. I like it great nuts I'll eat a bowl of that raisin bran I'll eat raisin bran Chris Brand I. don't even like raisins. And yet. Raisin Bran Soga. I love. God I think my favorite, too good kicks are good are so good. They have like the perfect amount of sweetness where you feel like Oh and being healthy and add some sweetness to it, yeah, Reso- pieces, plotter and chocolate balls are used to every day. I came in middle school I, came home from school, and had a bowl of reece's pumps and watched twice as POPs. That's what they're called. Weird ritual. I had. Ever had reese's puffs. They're so good. That's I love you. Watch toy story, and that's the very specific memory you have attached to that. Rhesus, pups and toy story, so you are because now I gotta go buy some cereal. Yeah Man Yeah where we last left our fearless crew. They had been woken up. PIPPA had an amazing touching moment with her mom. It was beautiful, and then I got to light something on fire, so it was great, and then rudely woken up by some shadow demons. That came in and tried to take you all out. Luckily pippas mom woke her up and was able to get things started with Kane'ohe, and then the Centaur cavalry arrived to finish them off for you. All you see the bodies of these demons, and they slowly shrink down, and eventually just dissipated as they because they're some creatures, so they go back to their plane. You see Corato. Where's the guards? You see one of the centaurs run out comes back a few minutes. You find out that the Centaur. Guards were basically torn in half. Right in between the human and the horsepower I don't like that they didn't let them through. They got ripped apart and. Figure something happened. Yeah, but like the torn in half nugget of detail is extra. Weight boomed. That's. Getting torn in half as a serious bummer, really put a damper. You see caracal little down, but you know it is what it is. This is a dangerous land. He understands that he places to new guards. Those guards were torn in half and gets everyone to go back to sleep. Do you guys want to do anything instead of going back to bed? Yeah, I would like to use my nose to see if I could do a perimeter around the can, because these things had to even of your summoning away from camp. Seventy spells has a finite range of I can just. Get Out enough where I could pick up. Something isn't Centaur and center has gone rogue in that'd be. I guess. Who would be able to pick up more from one other center, but if there was? More deemed smells. Frost giant human. EBL Neckermann. Manser I don't know if it has a smell A. kind of like something out of the ordinary I want to start doing a perimeter search with my nose and my eyeballs. Today hells right there with you because they also have sent so we so we could slip the work. Like eating a one way canal, go the other the you meet up in. Halfway through the perimeters. So you, follow the steps and. They were you can tell that they were quite and selfie around the tents, but they are loud when they don't have to be stealthy, so you're able to pick up on the tracks and you just follow him I. "Was in the family he said they get together and sing songs like his eye is on the sparrow ended funerals precious lord has sung here by Aretha Franklin with the current condemning the phrasing family won't be getting together to grieve and hug and sing instead they're doing this today we're doing our big family soon call it's just nice that we have this technology we can actually look at each other this is just one of the ways families are learning to cope the time when large funeral gatherings are strongly discouraged even outdoors I know some cemeteries are limiting the number of people who can attend the graveside service trying to keep those numbers small dot Ackerman heads the California funeral directors association he says these days his staff has to remind mourners to do things like stop hugging yeah stop hugging at a funeral they also have to tell people to keep their hands off the casket and the deceased in a normal time traditional service and it's not unusual people want to touch the deceased you know one last time and so those kinds of things are discouraged and people are advised to keep their distance but that's for families who still have traditional funerals Neckermann says those are fading as families delay services or go with something like a virtual funeral that they live stream on the internet this is actually been an option for years recent demand for live stream funerals has surged and not only that but the amount of people watching those live streams I would say easily doubled if not tripled its James Montgomery with the online funeral service called one room streaming he said that most stream funerals require password but others are public like this one last week in.

"The craft or an experienced retailer looking to take your game up to the next level. I Am Sarah and I'm rob. How do you know not doing too bad? Yeah right yeah. You're we played your game last week. I did. We did and had a blast. Don't mind saying myself. Thank you thank you. I think What I was going forward don't really well and then you guys want to keep going so I made it work. Yeah Yeah So. We're in the ruins of an old creepy castle and post apocalyptic world and Kinda going into the bowels and trying to get get it get an ancient machine going again with a big steam boiler powered with a fire elemental of time. I wanted to be a little bit more than it was I at least visually and But I think it worked out in here with them. We're told me on so we've got more scenarios. Come up it'll be fun but you also use to some of those Those printout Flake Dungeon tile thing. Yeah I I saw When I originally posted this some of that stuff I thought it was a really great idea and I've kind of been following the kind youtube to see some of the new stuff and I'm GonNa be points more of that stuff out because it's just too easy. It's it's really cool. It's simple I think everybody should do it. at least a little. I think it was in eight hours. I put together a full keep with two floors right and most of that was just me transitioning from like a printed map that I had made into a functional room by room map but I mean now that I've got it down. I could probably do it in half the time. Oh yeah yeah absolutely. He's got a bunch of stuff where he talks about Being able to quit quit create dungeons but honestly it's cardboard. It was leftover cardboard. Ed sitting around. We'll be printing because my printer went bad so I had to go to Kinko's Oh and gun so that was what was expensive part about the whole process but You know fifty dollars later. I had a full keep an extra part. Yeah exactly so it looked great. It played great So yeah I was. I was really surprised you can you? Can you can find some of those pictures. By the way I think opposed to both twitter and instagram. You so you want to check those out. Also think there was definitely some discussion and some pictures on our discord. If you're not discord a you can find that link on our twitter at St Underscore Conclave Yup and for those of you who join There is just a welcome that comes in to say something into it for us and we will get you set up as a listener. We just do that to make it easy because there's a lot of bots that just jump on and off and we don't want to have a bunch of Boston channel exactly exactly so anyways We gotTA show. Yes so we're talking today about Big combat ships and giant monsters and Giant armies clashing against your aging more than a handful goblins dungeon and we talked about scope. Now we're GONNA talk about scale And I think a lot of times when I think of scale I think a lot about like moving from individual miniatures to something or Hammer Fantasy where you've got a block of them and you're talking about stuff like that and you're moving whole blocks stuff a lot of times. There's a lot of the Historical Combat Where they're doing that same thing. It's units moving across the rank and file fifty troops at a time and a big block. Yeah no you might have artillery units. That are doing something to an area or suppression and things like that. And that's not really what you WANNA get into. When you're thinking about like role playing can I can I tell you? That's actually? What got me into war hammer in the first place really. Yeah I was so I was running a campaign back in the day and There was a Neckermann. Sir that had Destroyed an entire city Crawley's background and I decided that somewhere in my in my world story Thomas Relying that basically there was a bunch of Look good guys. Essentially a PALLID groups Paladins and nights and whatnot that they were GonNa go take the city back from the dead sure and So I kind of wanted to play those battles out and I wanted you know the PC's to be commanders of that. And such like that. And I started looking into. Well how do you handle mass combat and this was back in like three point? Five days so I was having a lot of problems with it and then I realized like Oh. Hey we're hammer is a mass combat style. You just kind of through some of those rules in there. I didn't end up actually playing out that pardee campaign but I did end up accidentally stumbling into war. Hammer and along. Yeah and having a compelling expensive existence really expensive but it got you into painting more. I was already painting painting the DNC miniatures more but yet but a lot more a lot cooler miniatures dollar pewter pieces. Yeah Yeah so yeah no definitely not a place for it but so I know that like Some systems I've played have some pieces in there. And we kinda go from that concept. I'm thinking of of Kinda starting with the whole mass miniature thing 'cause like I know Seven has stuff for ships and the systems different and it's not so much mass combat but group in the in the ship based combat ship to ship. Instead of having one person controlling the ship they actually break it up so that each player take a right and if someone controls a sale someone controls again. Someone controls the rudder controls. The you know works on the hall. Someone has the crew and each one of your attributes kind of sits as a flare toward that select. Maybe the person who has The Best Panache is the one who's working the rudder. And that's the their their dice. Effect that in there some bonuses they get to the type shipping things like that but it basically gives them a position To work with and I think that works really well and keeps everybody kind of moving together. They're making the roles as Shearim. Sure you know A couple of systems that do that. I want to say there's one of the Star Trek Systems does that as because you have like helm and things as well as big of a trucker as I. I've never actually played a star trek game But at least then you're keeping everybody involved. I think that's a really important part of keeping table cohesion. Yeah you don't want people just fallen asleep at your table which we do get when you have people who are combat monkeys during a social event or vice versa. So I think that's something you have to thing. But when he starts up his fifth edition which is already. And I'll say it you know. Dean hole has been rules medium. It's always sat at bridge point. It's not palladium rules. And it's not like you know Were you know or even something? Simple W. R. M. W. R. One. I was thinking where you've got these two very diametrically opposed systems. You've got them in the middle where you need a certain level of rules to apply to. It's you've got like fish in the Unearthed Arcana mass combat rules that got put out Which troubling for But which are neat but again there Dean D. rules. You look at it they're CR's there's action tables there's to me that's involved in it right. It doesn't lend itself to everybody doing the work so much but there are rules for it to include in their And and it does like There are ways to change the initiative and there are some teamwork things you do great Knox But there's also a lot of homebrew that people have done within that system as well I kind of had one where they had basically taken that in changed a little bit about it in how you're attributes affect things like charisma changes morale The your dexterity changes initiative your intelligence changes unit size. The actions are a little different in economy But then you also have the other one that I sent you. Which was this one. Read it that I found. Oh God and it was I mean I said I was just telling you at dinner today. I was like I read that entire threat. And it's this brilliantly broken down thing about like how armies have certainly troop values to them but then of course their readiness and their you know their equipment and their experienced value creates a certain value. And you multiply this but divided by that and then you you know you consider will. These guys are defending a keep. So they've got a fortification antiques. All these things into account and then breaks down into these these different phases with different objectives. Yup It's numbers heavy and it was really numbers heavy but it was really detailed and it was really good way of looking at combat. Yeah I had two thoughts when looking at it and I thought this is brilliant and also. I never want to use this. Yeah the one thing that I got out of it that I really liked was the milestones. Yes and I thought that was a different thing in it and I'm going to get more into that a little later because the objective of a battle isn't always just smashed. The other guy into submission correct and that's nine hundred ten not wire. Pc's or their YEP. They're not commanders running the battle for that exactly and they were you'd be playing or hammer right But that's not the only con. But we're talking about her. You know when we were talking about Things like Changing mechanics where you're saying. It's it's not just a scale difference but it's IT'S A it's a design difference you know Mech Warrior was an example. You gave that there's literally battle. Tekken Warrior are. Yeah free system sets. You've got you've got two different two different Roleplaying systems for them. At least you did back in the day. I don't I don't know what is it. Catalyst Games it's got I I don't know what catalysts doing with it back when it was faster You had Battle tack which was what you were doing in the battle Max. Back versus battlement combat And then you had mech warrior which is a completely different role playing system that took care of all of your automatic combat or a all out of the stuff in general it was a lot more kinder- dear regular traditional tabletop. Roleplaying GAME YOU POOR CHARACTER. You had stats. You had equipment and you navigated that that that world around her and I thought especially you know back in that day. That was really brilliant. Way of going about it because you kind of have your cake and eat it too right. I mean whereas in seven see they kind of bring mass combat right in with the normal line of things by basically just changing the way effectively. You're fighting so brutes are away to have mass combat Where you're literally just stepping because again characters Emil legless like when he goes into a combat. He's not fighting one another dude. He's fighting a whole group of people because that's what he can do right right hero and give me your keeping count. Because they're killing that many dude right right. I mean princess bride yet. A new Montoya literally just steps down a hallway and murderers have steps. You standing in front of the guys are dead right right you know and even say that you know it's like I could take on maybe ten You know with the leaves like you know twenty for me you know. Yeah and that's that's the thing is is that that's the kind of logic you have to put behind some of. That's what changes. Why they're there and what they're doing. Yeah you know And then you have things like urban shadows work you can talk about mass combat. But you're talking about it. The dice really aren't hitting the table much right and all that is more of an agreed upon scene and sequences and then I in in the crowd size might be a complication. The scene. But it's never a numerical factor. Right right you know but then in in moving along that same line then you have what we're talking about before which is where it's more of a scene it has it. It's the background right. It's not actually what's going on like you look at scenes. Setting is in a battle right. You're trying to get from point to point B in a battle So how do you? I mean you gotTa Kaija Attacking City. You're involved in that plot. There's a reason why that is there. you know attacking that city but you're not going to do anything to that. Kaija right right you worry. You're you're literally an aunt running at its feet trying to get away and this isn't even a matter of it has a million and you only do twenty damage a hit right this is you are not damaging tracked you will not alter its path. Barely a paper cut in existence. You are utterly insignificant to it. You are one aunt amongst thousands. Yes yes yes so. In those situations you really do have to paint out the battle in a different way and how things are being affected But realistically the results of each one of the goals that are set forth are only affecting the players portion of that story. Yeah you know movies do a good job of train this. I mean you'll never see you know unless it's a single action hero type of movie where you know that person's going to punch out the kyw juice somehow ant man's going to grow to six hundred feet equalling slightly larger than the size the college you and punch it. Yeah Okay Great. That's that's wonderful but nine times that attendance not going to be the case real quick. You'll know we're talking about music hydrate like we'RE GOTTA..

"The next anomalous superhuman ability is astral projection astral projection. A out of body experiences obt has a variety of different perspectives on. Have a look at it still though at its core. It's the ability to separate oneself in the physical body and travel in their dimension. Overlapping the fiscal one. And there's a level that's even a perfect mirror of our world. The consciousness of the person is projected into those subtle energy body allowing them to exist beyond the laws of physics and there are many levels of the astral plane other than the authentic double that mirrors our world. In fact there's far too many levels or spears of the astral plane ever counted one lifetime and very interesting about the astral plane. Is that too many traditions. Basically all humans travel the astral plane every single time. They sleep at night. It's the realm of drinks. The mental plane is different than the astral plane. But they're very similar connected in that the imagination and beliefs of sub one take tangible form on the astro planes dots and bleats can even give life to things in. The asteroid called thought forms that can become sentient and autonomous life of their own separate from their creator. The ability to ask for project means that somebody can consciously enter the astral plane. It will usually and some forms of meditation or before going to sleep in the astral realms one can travel at the speed of thought and even manipulate space time to an extent with practice. These people can fly in their astro bodies talent and traveled a higher levels as well as the nightmarish lower levels of the astral plane. When can even learn how to dream? Walk into the dreams of others giving that person's subconscious mind insight and guidance since the level of the astral plane at overlaps are physical rules is connected and. Astral PROJECTOR can even visit people. They know in real time seeing the astros double and the astral dull environment that they happen to be in. A projector can even travel through time itself though only as an observer but there are dangers that come what traveling the astral plane because an astral traveller has to be very aware of the old maxim as above so below. And for everything that exists there is another that do allies set. It's opposite such as wherever there's light there's shadow sunrise and sunset six CETERA. All things are made of clarity's duality. If something exists in the material world representation of it exists somewhere in the Asheville. Would I mean is there are monsters and primordial entities ineffable and beyond human comprehension that dwell on the astral planes? An example is just like there's spiders in our material world there are astral entities that basically do the same thing that they do only they are not limited by the laws of physics evolution and any limitations in spite of material world meaning. They can be horrifying beyond belief. This series of opposites goes on impotently to the point. Human consciousness might even be driven insane if they were to view things too far beyond the mind's -bility to comprehend a basically all Yogi mystics Shamans a cultists esoteric assists and spiritually enlightened. People have the ability to ask for project intentionally and consciously. This one may seem odd. But it's actually got a lot of history in a Yoga Masters and eastern religions and it is the anomalous superhuman ability to teleport. It's a legendary yogi ability. There have been many tales of gurus appearing from nowhere materializing out of thin air. Many Yogi legends revolve around a great master who just appears out of nowhere to teach someone or even a group of followers a lot of times. It's a yoga whose presence is known to be extremely far away or even deceased and the book autobiography of a Yogi by Paramanova Yoga. Nada Yoga goes into detail about an ascend. Master named up achieve this highest level. Yoga has many supernatural accounts that surround him with many of them. Having a vast host of witnesses the Great Guru could not be contained by the physical plane and allegedly transcended life and death itself. The supernatural powers of Indian mystics are profound and powerful making them basically neon gods ordinary humans. Good thing that. They're so enlightened. In humble the ability of teleportation gives the grew the ability to enter all worlds well at least from Hinduism. Dan Includes Brahma. Loka has to another world's which is basically hell as we would think of it over here in the West and the body moves were thought sends it enabling the Guru to travel far beyond the speed of light. But also everything in between we'll be open to the yoga master. Virtually all planes of existence are open to the yoga once they reach the state and they can fold through all the layers of reality. It will since all matters one and separation an illusion the gurus can touch anywhere in space time and walk through it like a doorway because dad become one with the infinite and are no longer subject to the laws of the material universe. The next anomalous superhuman ability is medium ship which is a classic and. I'm sure that pretty much everybody's heard of it. People who become mediums can witness the astral double or so energy body of deceased humans or the unseen forces of spiritual entities such as elemental demons and spirits of all natures invisible. To human sense organs does from a mainstream perspective. There's also traditions that bank go serve the soul of a dead person but this is really just one way to look at it in deeper spiritual traditions goes are not the soul of a dead person because there are many aspects that make up human being consciousness itself has no attachment to the physical world in quantum physics and in psychology. The conscious mind and ego are actually very small. Parts of what makes up a person as a whole with the unconscious slash sub-conscious being vastly larger. And the more pure form of an individualized person. Human beings are scattered and shattered preachers. That must be reassembled which is one of the meanings of the old maxim know thyself. Mediums witness a variety of ghosts types including psychic imprints. Whicher spirits that are stuck in a never ending loop that usually revolves around their own death. Aura traumatizing events. These types of ghosts are unaware of what they are or even that they're dead. This is your typical jump scare. Ghost mediums can also witness the subtle energy body of a deceased person. Net retains a level of consciousness. These types of ghosts can stay behind long after the soul has passed on the spirit realms and is basically the main type of ghosts that you would think of is a ghost when you think about ghosts. Mediums can also see the souls mystical people who an life learn to intentionally separate their consciousness from the physical body and project it into their astral bodies these masters of the cold can build their own sanctuaries on the astral plane and never cease in their training and gathering of knowledge and basically just tweeting to reincarnate it will win a get opportunity arises and they wish it however these types of ghosts will only allow medium to see them if it's their desire because they are far more spiritually powerful than any common medium and are actually kind of dangerous if provoked so dishes probably just be avoided unless it comes to the medium of its own volition and when talking about mediums. It's hard to leave out neck. Romance see when people think of Neckermann see they think of a black cloaked villain who raises skeletons from the Earth to do his bidding? But technically when you break it down especially with the old lor throughout history going back to the medieval times dark ages back to the classical age necker. Nancy and museum ship are the same thing. They've made a distinction between the two from as far as I could find in my research around the sixteen hundreds but that separation between medium ship and Eckermann only came about. Because they don't WanNa seem evil or you know go around tell somebody that your medium that's going to have a pretty weird reaction some crowds but if you go around and tell people that your neck from answer that could have some worse issues. Like I don't know be burned at the stake or something. Because they'll think you're some kind of crazy satanic devil-worshippers something but when it comes down to it. Necropsy and medium ship are the same thing but then again saying that might irritate some people and it's true that other perspectives. There is a fine line between necker masters in mediums. But it's very blurry. And when I say Neck Romance Sir I don't mean bringing people back to life or raising sculptures from the ground or anything like that even though that did happen according to legend mythology. I'm more just going off of the original term for neckermann served beyond Benghazi. Fiction is a person with the ability to summon and commune with the deceased and control and manipulate spirits of all kinds so neckermann seat is basically a form of medium ship by different names. And if you believe in the Bible or familiar with the Bible Jesus was an extremely powerful neck romance sir. If not the most powerful neck romance to effort cysts a medium has the ability to interact with forces from the spiritual planes through summoning or even the spirits coming to them on their own and this anomalous ability also comes with a lot of dangers. Mediums can be very unhealthy and die early deaths if they don't have the proper grounding work in spiritual training being a conduit to spirits will suck you dry and by that I mean the by the lifeforce natural mediums who never find a mentor. Who Know what they're doing can really have a difficult and painful struggle of life if they pursue their medium chip that can also be fooled into doing horribly self destructive things or giving others who seek guidance by communicating with the dead wrong information or even outright lies there is always an entity willing to step into the shoes of a person or impersonate the spirit of a person that's trying to communicate with and without the ability to test and see through the deception of spiritual beings medium his most likely doomed you are listening to cryptic chronicles. Don't go anywhere.

Bananas the Banana Flavored Candy that we all right make a runt. Yeah Yeah. There's there's a type of banana that that is based on really banana. Flavored candy is a banana that tastes supposedly almost exactly like that flavor. This is fascinating but it doesn't grow anywhere we're close enough to get to us without like completely changing its structure share. We don't need it but I'm on. I hate banana flavored. Fake Banana flavored. Things because doesn't taste like banana taste. It's crazy but it's insane to think that at some point during like Matt Mass Manufactured Food Right. You could get bananas that tasted like that and then someone else was like. What if we make bananas taste like this and then a no point that they changed the banana flavor right but I wanNA taste these crazy candy tasting banana? Where do you have to go? Okay like pluck one off the tree and get it in its natural habitat. That's where my research ended right. I think we should start our search in the Philippines. Stirring during we're better. Let's go to Manila and see what we can dig before we decide should we do. A montage were poor over a bunch of maps. We haven't compass. And I think Indiana Anna Jones style tracking with like the plane. The Red Line I would love to do a red line seen Jordan rate when you say a compass I gonNA kick it up a notch. I said we have both kinds of compass. Both the kind that shows you what direction. Yeah go and the kind that draws rafic circle around a point that could define the radius of our means of transportation predation. That's sounds amazing. And the circle. Compass is dangerous so it gives like an element of adventure to yes. I love an element of adventure on request. Sure and maybe this is. Yeah maybe this is a this is a Docu series. When I should be caring for my children and everybody was like you know the best game like that is witcher? The three and I've never been more confused and angry at a video game in my life and then the show came on my Netflix. Or whatever it is. Maybe it's on Amazon Netflix Netflix. I saw I saw the thing. And I'm like wow They sure made sure that. And then I read an article about it. And as they were you're describing what happens on the show. It seemed like they were describing without animus but otherwise in every respect describing describing exactly my experience of playing the game which was what is this. Why is this happening? This dot Based on sort of Dutch novel or something right Polish Hall Leash Polish novels. And it's like what who wants this. I don't know what are the consequences. How do these pieces fit together? Why is there a whole part where I have to run along the walls of the castle to learn to Dance Sword fighter? Something that's fun. The Guy The guy. What are these cut scenes mean but that was basically i? I read the whole article about it and that was basically this person wasn't it didn't seem to be as angry as I was. Although it might have been there. Professional remove their critics their their critics distant doesn't exist anymore. But I felt like I was re experiencing playing that game for four hours or whatever I gave it a long time before I gave through a hands up in article form but it was about the television show. There's like a jumbled time-line why are you a big fantasy guy. Do you like fantasy things quite a bit. It's like all the cards are black and white and all the creatures really like gruesome. But it's just it it kind of like maybe laps itself in its evilness becomes just like really fun. Maybe my one of my favorite like recent video games or something. I would probably put on my list of favorite games of all time is this came bloodborne and it is exactly that like it is a. It is a like clove cigarette that hates. It's dad it is just so it is an I. I am not dark man Yeah this you know very grim. "He said he that I can ask three questions He'll tell the truth twice in lie once and are we supposed to come up with the questions I mean. He didn't like give me a list of questions I know but like we're As in you were sit back here for us to come up with the questions. He said he would give me time to talk with my party to come up. Put the question okay. I mean he didn't say had to ask the questions. If he's GonNa tell the truth that wouldn't want to not ask right. We could get some serious information we could figure out exactly where the NECKERMANN service precise location might not help in these twisting in house but in who knows it could lead us right to the I mean. That's that's fair. I mean considering that that that is our only. That's our only goal right now. I mean that's the that's why we came in here so those is a probably be the kind of questions. Yeah I hate as Cameron to waste questions on. It's not a waste but if into go will be but we're not there and so we don't so he's GonNa tell the truth twice and he's GonNa lie once. So what are we WANNA ask. Where is the neck romance? Where's the sword the Emerald Blade Okay then we can ask. Where is Jeffries so yeah so? If FY lies about Jeffrey so or the Neck Amanda will start the location if he because you'll have at least one fruit unbelievable. He's one of them in one. If if they're not in the same location will lead us. That's the other in however he could live the sword and we could have the same answer twice or they could be in two separate locations to know in both. I like those questions and I assume he would be more willing to lie about something as precious as a magical sword told in legends rather the sentence continues not no offence towards you know but no. There's someone to stay. Yeah I mean I think this these are the best questions asked and is it that you get that many questions or is it. All those who asked get three questions did he specify not really just the said he can ask them three questions but we could start there that he did. He did invite all of his in there. How do we get back in there? Well he explained explained it like I can walk in and then I can take the mask off and throw it through the portal. It'll come back here you know it'll be we all want to go there and we can just repeat. I wouldn't want us to split up. No I WANNA split up and I WANNA know who this is is a good chance. We don't but Bernard you WANNA go first. Yeah I'll go back in all right so walk through the ball relief again. Brian you enter your standing. Are you ready. I think we are. I am going to have my friends come in with me if just give us one moment please short I take the mask off and I thought all right and you see the mask just pop out in front of UNIKA across the floor. So D- do you WanNa go first or me. Do you WANNA go first. Since you don't like magic stuff just in case anything goes wrong also be here and Bernardo van the other side that would be helpful he I guess just put it on hesitantly Kinda like looks over the mass puts it on and when you put it on and you look at the Sculpture the bar relief You are pulled into this extra dimensional space and I were there in front of him and then you see the same things you see this room and the message appears to be image. Sitting there figure stapled finger steeple. Let us see over. They're stealing your fingers at Novi Command. Come in please hello guest be our guest so we have three questions. Hold on hold on before Before you do take the mask off back along it should be here as well right. Okay Yeah and just kind of like bewildered at the fact that like we just got transported to this pocket plane. I don't know what this is. And he definitely has no clue even what what it could mean. So he's just like what and so he kinda just takes the mask off while still like not taking his eyes. His eyes are like glued to every weird thing thing going on in the room in imagine it would have been a lot weirder if those is reflecting. Where did you put he turns around and sees the swirling mists a toss put mass through the thing and I definitely catch it as it comes ready ready for action and I put the mask on and you Venus protect us and I authored pulls you through and you're standing next next to your compatriots again in this study of sorts so now that you're all until one in this room? Let's take a moment to stop in here from our town car. So so you're all there in this study of sorts and he's sitting there and he's so yes in. Are you ready to ask you a question. I also have a proposition free. Would you like to hear it first store. Would you like to ask questions as you see. I've given us a bit of privacy in here. You may have noticed if you haven't yet the floating orbs in the in the ceiling. Oh you haven't noticed those yet. How good you're not supposed to see them anyways? We have a moment to ourselves. Yeah so from Proposition I got righteousness for sure. I'm trying to not wearing these questions towards him especially if we can give them a questions in the proposition. Asian threes a little limiting proposition. I am how may I introduce myself as hostile the black cloak. I am Renault that name. Okay that is the match. I jaw dropped. Run this place of sorts and I've been here for many centuries and it has come Ho- I haven't around if you will and over over the past few centuries we've started this sort of game if you will and I wanted to know if you'd be interested in taking part in said game there there are rules and rewards but there are great too dangerous if you don't want to do this certainly you don't have to. You can scrounge scrounge around and me out your existence but if you take me up on it I promise you I will grant you one wish at the end of it so I believe we would like to know the rules. I the rules. Good wordage words. If you're worried about the questions this is separate. I'm not going to give you any information on feeling that I'm still not going to trust that else has has to guess Hollister yes with an H. So let's get into it then what we have here is across looney versus. There's a world you cannot even imagine they were beings that are so powerful in so bored. If you will that I have been able able to provide a service to them in broadcasting throught magic the ability to watch what goes on and under mountain and leave taken up a sorts of creating this game one game show oriented reality game show for the multi verse in this case the Midi and I just say already. This is really cool. Yeah I off. Cameron says yes Second off this is nuts Razi. I had.

"The devil was everywhere and the world was nothing more than temptation Nation a platform for sin and thus punishment by the time the Middle Ages roll around the coach has successfully convinced it's followers that the devil in all of its evils is real and not only that but the devil is incredibly powerful now double doesn't just tempt you with sin it can inhabit you're very body and force you to send because women were now viewed as the weaker sex it was believed that they were particularly vulnerable for this sort of possession and that some may even be purposely seeking it out uh in the thirteen hundred's before there were the witch hunts there was the hunt for heretics to make matters worse the criteria for heretic was incredibly vague and essentially encompassed anyone who was deaf front of the wrong faith or anyone who dared to speak out against or question the authority of the church those accused of heresy would be tortured until confession was rendered and then would be put to death it would sued progress even further and the heretic hysteria was often a tool used for political gain as was the case with the death of the Knights templar in thirteen o seven Francis King Philip the fair had grown envious and even threatened by the wealth and power of the Knights templar to read self this past he formally accuses them of heresy stating that they had been seen worshiping a goat headed idol which he claimed was none other than the devil itself the Church was happy to execute the decree as they too had been unhappy with the Knights templar tumblers at this time have been tempting peace negotiations with the Muslims an effort to put the long war at end something the Church did not want so on Friday October thirteenth of thirteen o seven the nights were hunted down and executed this is also how Friday the thirteenth became associated with bad luck and evil forces once grew to alarming levels no one was safe from its grasps and it seemed that in every village there were even those who summoned the devil to do its bidding to confront these growing threats the inquisition was told the target though who's who performed any type of witchcraft sorcery or Necker Mansi not even priests were spared as it was believed that those who performed extra systems might very well be inviting the devil in rather than casting it out fear that sorcerers Neckermann answers witches and even renegade priests we're all around summoning the devil and plaguing the land with its dark forces caused witch hunt fever to officially began the first case of a devil conspiring which Kat the inquisition happened in thirteen twenty four in Ireland the woman's name was Alice and she was accused of dealings with the devil by her stepchildren she in her step children were in a heated dispute over an inheritance the step children angered of this already wealthy woman was trying to keep their father's land from them all of the church there's stop mother was a witch and that she had killed their father with the help of the devil now an hour this caught wind of what was going on she immediately escaped and fled to England however her lady servant wasn't so lucky she was captured and tried in Alice's place the poor woman was brutally tortured until she confessed her role in the devil magic and then she was burnt at the stake this campaign to purge the world of devil worshipping witches lasted three hundred years and killed around sixty two three hundred thousand house and innocent people by the eighteen hundreds the age of modernism had begun and with it new interest in science people began pushing superstitions aside and focusing on what can approvable by science it's during this time the devil seems to lose his grip on the world and is evil hours begin to wane he's no longer a fearsome beast and becomes more human like in appearance the devil during this time period is often featured as tall well dressed individual he is the controller of the material world specifically in the areas of wealth power and sex it's during the eighteen hundreds in exchange for your soul all you need to do is ask it's from this time period that many the well-known stories of packs and deals with the devil come from the early to mid eighteen hundreds also brings `Bout Romanticism period which gets us yet another view of the devil during this period Satan becomes a tragic hero and becomes a leader for rebellions he is portrayed an art as a beautiful angel leading his army in the fight against unjust dominant forces or some he is a symbol of social reform breaking up the smothering power of the monarchs and empowering the People by the twentieth century the devil has once again evolved in undergone yet another change no longer powerful or beautiful the devil uh-huh a figure of just it now once again in bodies more of pans attributes a horned half man a half goat cloven footed creature that is associated with fine food abundance and drink this version of the devil is not fearsome but is a rather impish looking fellow often wielding a mischievous grin Camila stations the devil now is often considerably smaller as well often being depicted as being far shorter than humans with its new associations with mischief and fon advertisers begin using images of the devil to sell all matter of things including beer and chocolate adding a dancing impish devil to packaging or adverts was a way that older brands could rejuvenate their image and increase sales. The image of the devil added in essence of alluring temptation and decadence and fun sixties the Devil's path takes another turn and it once again becomes a symbol of revolution the beautiful Elliot's figure of the Romanticism period comes back into play and at once again becomes a symbol of uprising against unjustified already and that and nine hundred sixty six.

Elliot three hundred years
