Welcome, Danny and Bill. Hey, Laura. Great to be here. Thank you, Laura. Honored to be here again. Bill, you were my third guest, if I remember correctly. So… Yeah. Pleasure to have you back. You're the star of the industry, kind of, at the Necker Blockchain Summit. I know. I can't believe that was over seven years ago now. But anyway, so part of the reason that I brought you two here was to discuss some recent issues, you could call them, in the Bitcoin ordinals world. And it affects you as creators. But first, why don't we give everybody the backdrop of what you've been doing. And we'll start with your backgrounds pre -Medigood. So, Danny, would you like to start? Yeah. So, I'm Danny Yang, pre -Medigood. I started a Stanford Bitcoin meetup back in 2013. That's when I met Bill, actually. So that's how he connected. True OG. Yeah. Early days of Bitcoin when we were all very, I guess, excited by what we could do. And I had the sky's the limit. And Bitcoin was the center of attention for everything. It was really the only thing. And I started a cryptocurrency exchange in Taiwan called MyCoin, that's doing well today too. And then a couple of years later, I started a blockchain analytics company called Bloxier that was then sold a few years after that. And Bill also was the first investor in both of my, those two Bitcoin and crypto companies that have been busy in this space. And just excited to see what's happening today too, what we're going to talk about because of the new happenings for Bitcoin in particular. And Bill? Yeah. And Laura, I think obviously you've known me for quite a while, but I somehow was able to see some kind of interesting future for Bitcoin back in 2010. That led me to doing some work on a bunch of different things. Some of the more notable companies that came out of the industry at that time were Bitfury, of course, where I put together the funding for their first major ASIC chip. Still chairman of the board of Hut 8 Mining, which we spun out of Bitfury, it used to be our Canadian operation and had funded a bunch of interesting projects like AirSwap with Joe Lubin and Mike Novogratz and Power Ledger and some other things. But Danny, having been the founder of the Stanford Bitcoin Meetup Group, and Laura, you will remember even back on Necker Island, what I wanted to do was create something like the Homebrew Computer Club for this segment. And Danny had already done that. So as I was attending the Stanford Bitcoin Meetup Groups, young startups like Zappo or BitGo or Coinbase or whoever would come and present at his meetup. And I just identified Danny as a node with a lot of talent given his PhD in computer science at Stanford and every question that I had that was technical, he could answer. And so one day I walk up to him and I said, hey, if you ever start a company, I'm writing a check. And that became the first company he mentioned. And I funded it along with some real OGs like Charlie Lee, Bobby Lee, Jed McCaleb, people like that. And then that turned into another funding for Blockseer. Both of those companies have been successful. And third time around, you know, I was like, Danny, let's do this one together. So I wrote a check and we put together Medigood.

With me today is Dante Disparte, who's the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Global Policy at Circle. Dante, it's great to have you on the podcast. Great to be with you. Dante, I'm so excited to speak with you because Circle has been doing a lot of great things. I'm a user of USDC. I've interviewed Jeremy Allaire a couple of years ago, and you guys are doing a lot. So I have a lot of questions. But before we get there, let's start with your background. Tell us about yourself, where you're from, and where you grow up. Sure. Well, yeah, great being on. And it's always good to start with the humanizing questions. So I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. And currently I live in Washington, DC. So my partly personal, as you can imagine, this is a labor of love being in crypto, but also partly about the unfinished work we have around the world with financial inclusion and just making the global economy much more accessible for people. But yeah, very excited to be with you today and looking forward to the conversation. Sure. And tell us about your professional background, because I did notice you were at the Diem Libra project for a while, in addition to other companies. Tell us a bit about that. Well, don't hold any of that against me. In fact, my joke when I joined Circle, in fact, for your listeners, my almost informal interview was the money movement episode 10. Episode 10, I was still at the Libra Association, where I was the vice chairman and one of the founders of the project. Jeremy invited me onto the money movement, and we realized that not only were we wearing the same pastel -colored polo shirts, but we were finishing each other's sentence. So now with the benefit of hindsight, I could look back at that and say, this Jeremy Allaire guy is kind of sneaky because it turns out that might've been my job interview. So the transition from a Libra to a Circle, at least for me personally, in many respects, it's the same vision and mission. The difference is obviously Libra was aspirational, never launched. Circle is operational, and we now collectively as a company get to prove that trusted digital dollars on the internet is a thing. It's a breakthrough innovation, and it's impacting real world, real people, and the real economy in real ways. So if you don't mind me asking, was Libra Diem too early, and was it a different environment? And also, you mentioned the business practices, right? The books and the certain things need to be in order as with Circle. Was that kind of the gist of it? It was just early and the regulators had a knee -jerk reaction? Well, so my personal calculus as an entrepreneur in the earlier part of my career, but as a risk and resilience person throughout my career, my personal calculus was win, lose, or draw. A project of this potential scale would change, if not the arc of the conversation, in many respects, the arc of innovation and finance, right? That you needed, not only crypto needed, but the agenda for a more inclusive global economy needed something to shake the system up, right? And so in innovation, we talk about moonshots, and I think Libra was a proper moonshot. But around it, there were also very clear determinative barriers around who can and for permission versus forgiveness in financial services. And a lot of crypto projects have come and gone under the basis of not really respecting any of the pre -existing rules and regulations around moving money. But so it was a very healthy experience. And I found myself obviously to be an honest broker in a very, very complex multi -stakeholder project and conversation since. And what was your first encounter with Bitcoin and crypto? When did it first start for you? Did you hear from a friend on a forum? And what was your aha moment? Yeah. Well, I came at it, actually it was, believe it or not, on Necker Island. I was invited in 2017. I don't often get invited to billionaire private islands, but if you do get an invite, I would strongly urge folks to go. Except of course, with my rotten luck, the year I went to Necker Island, I went in my capacity as a risk and insurance person. This is in 2017. And as you can imagine, at that particular era, a lot of crypto companies were looking for the legitimization of insurance. Today, it's the legitimization of regulation, the legitimization of policy, et cetera. But for a long time, the industry's journey has been this legitimization, challenger innovation looking for insurance protection. And so I went pretty deep. I started an insurance company and went pretty deep down the rabbit hole in sort of understanding what were the risks. And if you could understand the risks and transfer the risks financially to another party, then there's a market around this innovation. Except the year that I went was the year that flattened part of Puerto Rico. And so my journey into the crypto economy was, what unfinished work does this innovation have with risk, resilience, financial access, moving money in better, cheaper, faster ways? Over that same period of time, I was an advisor on the National Advisory Council of FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency. And I was one of the leaders on the FEMA sort of arguing that we need these innovations domestically inside of the United States to provide for better, faster, cheaper movement of money and disaster assistance. And so that's been my arc in this space ever since. And I'm pleased to say where I think we're making progress.

"Welcome to dad devotionals. I'm Dave desal. Today we're joined by Tommy and des necker Taylor from purpose driven coaching. They help married couples learn how to reconnect without having to go to counseling or therapy. Guys, this is the one you want to listen to and trust me your wife will be glad you did. Taught me and just not go welcome to that devotionals. It's so great to have you. Thank you. I appreciate it. Thank you for having us on. We're glad to be glad to be on the show for sure. No problem. All right, so why don't you tell everybody, you know, a little bit about your background as we get started here and why did you become marriage coaches? Yeah, so basically, you know, we ended up going through just about, well, everything bad you can go through in a marriage like quadruple times over like, I'm gonna try to remember everything, to be honest, I don't have a list in front of me, sometimes I forget it. But we've been through, you're gonna have to help me with this, but infidelity. Both sides and same amount so much so that honestly I don't remember most of the people. But we've been through that physical abuse, mental abuse, verbal abuse, what else? Some finance. Yes, I was actually became like a full blown alcoholic, like so much so I had it above my bed, so I didn't have to get out of bed. Yes. There was huge financial issues between the two of us. Trust below zero triggers out the wall zoo. Like Tommy was triggered by everything. And the communication, like we, there wasn't communication. We couldn't even walk outside and go this guy is blue or the sun is yellow without it being a fight. Sounds like she's exaggerating, but we literally like most people we come across like honestly, when we talk to him on the phone, most people do bring up communication because it's kind of the number one thing people list. But most people can talk about the least surface level things like a logistical things like day to day who's getting the kids, stuff like we couldn't even and it was talk about that stuff at all. It was to the point like we legit hated each other, but what we found was that there wasn't any resources to out there. And everyone automatically goes, oh, you have in problems. Go to counseling. That's what we thought, yeah. And what happens is the counseling is like, there's not action steps. And so many times we hear it. We have experienced it in so many Sony. People is one person's teamed up against. It especially if there is any kind of affair. If you cheated, it's like a target in attack. And so it's not a safe zone. And then they're very quick to label. So we were I had him labeled narcissistic. He had me labeled.

"Necker. Yes. I know you are reality show Queen. This is a big spoiler. This is a spoiler. That is such a problem. I mean, you go into this, you know, these shows knowing that there's going to be time before the show airs, and you are not supposed to divulge things, especially in a show like this, where it's all based on that moment, right? And I mean, of course, everybody signs the non disclosures, but it's also a matter of wanting to have the best show possible. She was like, I'm out. I don't care. I'm just telling it. You know? She's clearly upset. She got caught up in her emotions. That's right. Yes. Not only did she tell him to go F himself, she told ABC to go up themselves. Oh, she's done. She's done. Not a good bachelorette. I don't know what ABC is gonna have to say about this, but in my world she would be done. I kind of understand both sides because she's clearly not someone who sees it in TV. But I think when you come in a TV, especially like reality TV, it's a lot of things that are unexpected. So you think you're going in one way and then things happen on the back and she probably felt very alone very, very screwed and also like her reputation looks bad. So she probably feels like nobody's looking out for me. So I'm gonna stay without where I want to say. But, you know, legal things are also in place. You can't play, you know. You know these contracts. That's what's hard about those non descriptions 'cause what are you gonna do sue? You know what I'm saying? Somebody for. And you also have to understand like she was completely wrapped up in emotions. Right. You could tell she's heard, she's embarrassed. She's humiliated. She's going to do whatever she has to do to save face. And hopefully I still feel like this is her fault because she had no business telling a girl that she didn't know. That part running your mouth. Talk too much when it comes to.

Event in california with steve farber a by zoom been korea national conference and other national conferences. And i'm headed to necker island again To meet with richard branson. And i hope to come back with some amazing stories not too great so it will be fun and it'll be very interesting as it has been in the past. Today we have a guest on the show and his name is sam. Spillers sam is the product manager for being i online at being global He has been involved with deny online since its inception march twenty twenty and actually little before that with Some of the countries in asia but globally it had expanded in march. He'll chapters around the world transition to the online meeting format at the start of the pandemic and has continued to provide day-to-day customer support to ensure equality meeting experience. He conduct customer research and manages projects geared toward driving innovation and increasing member value. I can't think of anyone better to have on to talk about an online and hybrid chapter sam. Welcome to be an eye podcast. Thank you very much ivan for that introduction. It is fantastic to me here. It's great having you on a talk. A little bit about being i online and why you think it is effective absolutely So you know. Of course i online was formed out of necessity after a few years of the organization recognizing the potential power of it for the future of bni. But of course you know. Through through the pandemic we were able to enjoy a lot of success in a lot of ways using online exclusively as the as the meeting format platform And you know as we are now a year and a half into be an eye on lines life. We of course have kept a very close eye on on some of the kpi. Some of the metrics that that drive our business and the don't knows a key performance indicator the things that drive our business as sam. Jason yes. Thank you and You know so metric such as overall membership then member retention member. Nps scores these are all metrics that we follow closely of course and we've enjoyed increased. Nps score is net promoter score. That's happiness score basically. Are you happier satisfied with what you're getting. Nps yes absolutely. That's of course something that every business owner should be keeping an eye on with their customer. Base so all of these Metrics that listed have. We've we've enjoyed an increase in them using be an eye on line largely as the as the operating engine Other key metrics to the bmi model of course thank you for close business in referrals You know they saw a small decrease at the start of the pandemic worse it's very large business disruption that took place last year and You know they really. They quickly returned those pre pandemic levels. And i think business in in referrals during this online era so you know in the last twelve months. The i has generated eighteen point three billion dollars. Us dollars in. Thank you close business. That's amazing and again using you'll be an eye online largely as the operating engine so we're quite proud that. Yeah i mean. I i get it with members. I created an in person networking organization. I get it online. Has some issues but i ask everyone to think about this. What if this had happened twenty years ago. What if it happened thirty years ago. There was no technology like this. We would virtually all be out of business. I mean every one of our members would be struggling. even more than many of them are and Either that or we would be going out and about and we'd have many more of people ill and die and so yeah you know. Maybe the online's not quite as good as that handshake but there are benefits. And i think you're going to talk about some of the. The alternative defected. This technology exists is a blessing. And i had someone say to me not long ago. Sam did she told a member who was whining about she said whining about zoom fatty. And she said buck up. Buttercup you know you could be out of business. This is fantastic that we can do business online. Now i mean said that We do have chapters in areas that are gradually becoming safer and there's hybrid meetings. They're taking place. And that's when. I know the members want to hear about your yes absolutely So we really what we do as a product team here. The n i is it. We are very passionate about listening to our members. We conduct a lot of customer research. A lot of surveys and one thing that we found is through a variety of surveys over. The course of this year is There is a strong appetite for hybrid chapters as you referenced. Ivan so you. We have officially offered launch this offering for chapters around the world as of october. Twenty twenty one and you know really all chapters or just select chapters so all chapters. As of october twenty twenty one are able to participate in the hybrid format and what we define the hybrid format as again after a lot of Extensive research is the first meeting of the month. Takes place in person to the first week of the month. Meeting is in person you enjoy your handshakes in your coffee. You're venues venues. Usually would and then the rest of the meetings of the month take place using bni online so that members can again enjoy that The camaraderie those handshakes building relationships. That we've all known to love and through the in person traditional meaning setting but also be able to enjoy the flexibility that a lot of members prefer with benign online too. And you know we really recognized. That members want that ability to both build strong relationships while not sacrificing time savings and ultimately become accustomed to the united ads. I know there are some members chomping at the bit here. We're not saying you have to go hybrid. We're seeing if you were if chapters if it's safe from a health perspective to meet in person you can continue to meet in person it. We have over seven hundred chapters as of right now. That started started online. They've never met in person. They're likely to not want to go to hybrid. So median online is.

"To the problem right and so we. We tend to rely on three things right problem. I think you talk about problem. Solving creativity and adapt ended after right. But they're really kind of all through the same thing if we really right aren't the innocent right. That's right and so this is interesting. The part of the reason i went there is because in these leadership studies. We talked about after they ask leaders. The question you know. What's the environment like. And they say it's unpredictable. They say well. What are you most need to deal with that and for a i'm almost a dozen years. The answer was creativity. What the heck does that me and if you look at how. They changed their organizations based on that. Answer oh we need more creativity because the world is asking us to respond to so many new things and so many changes. They didn't do anything to change it or they hired people that they said well. Gosh she She got her degree in the art. She must be created. I mean very little thought goes into that break and let's pretend that that person they hire she was in fact created. They didn't change the way. The organization was driven. They didn't change the incentives. They didn't change the job descriptions. They didn't change the shared purpose of the organization. So that creative person withers on the vine so island. All that said. I don't think creativity is what you really want knocked that you don't need it. But i think what you want is adaptability and adaptability builds into it the ability to problem solve the ability to create innovate. And so on. So then you back out of that say all right what does it take to be truly adaptable. That's the path were on. It starts with knowing your soul but it extends much much more into the people. You try to do these things with you. Adaptability is huge Recalling back in grad school and we were in we. Were you know here. These young psychologists right and we're in grad school and people trying to define intelligence and the clinicians over. They're trying to do intelligence practicing their intelligence testing. And we're trying to talk about what is intelligence. What does that really look back like. And i'll never forget my friend. Mike long necker. Who is with me in grad school. Said you know. I think intelligence if you wanted to find intelligence it's adaptability and i thought about that for second in light of your book and i was like going. You know what the truth of the matter is more adaptable. we are in this voca world. We actually are being more intelligent. No question and and you could put a big set of you know rock concert speakers on that amplified to say more that we understand that and realize that we are. We are at our best when it comes to adaptability when we do it together We co create when we collaborates. We were built for this. I mean the science on. It is really quite stunning to to show just how much we expect. Other people to be there to help us to bacchus with their ideas to when we wanna change something positive to follows end the slightest hint. We get the opposite direction. We shut down our ability to adapt to increase. So so what you're saying is so critical and we're we're the tribal species we want to do these things together. Why would we stop doing that. When we need to adapt most right. Now i love that. His name is larry robertson. The book rebel leadership. Are you enjoying it. I of course you are. I knew you would. Hey you know what. We're going to listen to him here on the new direction. Hey folks epic physical therapy physical therapist and hopefully you're soon not because you have to but because you want to write i that's the thing about physical therapy..

"Ride if you live here in. La like me that shaves hours off so you could actually be in your green zone win. The time is there. And that's what top performers do they understand this to such a high level and i'd love to talk a little bit more about what you learned in your research for this book from top performers. We jokingly talked about hacks but they understand themselves and how to leverage those gifts to the best of their ability. That's what makes them top performers while the rest of us feel like we're playing catch up. So here's a quality that always amazed me about the best leaders. I've met like you. I have the privilege of interviewing some of the best in the world for what i do and again. It's one of those things that if you can get into that deadzone zone that space where you do this repeatedly you're like how do i even get paid for this like this. My life like it's a. It's a good day most days. But what i've noticed and you've probably seen this like when they show up. They're not distracted. They have all the time in the world for you. They make you think like they've done all kinds of research. Which often they have done and they're never rushed hurried. I've never been to necker island but apparently if you go. Richard branson greets you there. And i've had friends who have been and he just acts like he's not running hundreds of companies but like oh nice to see you get you want something to drink. You want to sit on the beach. What do you want to do. You want to go up for jet ski like let me know and what that is is. They've learned how to say no they know what's important so that when something one one of the things. I encourage people to do with their time as reject the whole idea of living a balanced life. I think it's a waste of time. Because number one tried it for many years and have never succeeded and secondly you ever notice that balanced people never seem to change the world passionate people do. And so what i encourage people to do is give up on the idea. Balance because balance feels like a retreat balances like. I'm going to do less at work. I'm going to do less of this. I'm going to do less of that. I don't wanna do less with my life. But i want to carefully choose what i decided to do. More of and now. I wanna do is whatever i allow on my calendar. I wanna pursue passions if i'm going to do a podcast i'm gonna prep well if i'm going to write a book. I'm really going to go deep if i'm going to meet with this key client. I am going to go in prepared. If i'm going to read my kids bedtime stories. I'm not gonna skip pages. okay. I'm not gonna do that little where you pretend. There was no extra page. And they won't notice because they're little. I can be fully present. If i'm in a sleep. I sleep for seven or eight hours. Not apologize for it and refueling my body because there was a quote from seventeenth century eighteenth century figure. John wesley who said set a person on fire with passion and people come from miles to watch him burn. And i think there's something very true to that so what i wanna do what i allow on my calendar whether that social or work related or speaking engagements i wanna do passionately and then it's no to all the rest is greg mcewan says and the paraphrase of his book from essential ism but a scale of one to ten. If it's not a nine it's zero. And i think a lot of us allow our lives to be filled with sixes sevens and eights. We know what to do with the twos and threes. It's like non not gonna do that but we get so overwhelmed because our life. Our calendar is a whole series of like six sevens and eights so as a filter for decision. Making if you're going to show up it's a nine out of ten and then you're going to be fully present. You're going to go all there. I i love this and that and we're in this world where abundance now is what everyone has..

Johnny and i were talking about a part of the podcast where i see a lot of people talking about audio and games but i can tell. I think they've just picked empty. One thing i pull away from mostly is story as in rating the story unless it's bad or really good and and one of the reasons why is because i am not a professional store. We would have, like, Bring your parents to What is your What are your mom or dad do for a living and they would come in and they would explain kind of there, you know, And I always remember about would be really cool. If my dad was a firefighter like he could come and talk about Being a firefighter, right? But my dad was in a fire Frederick Sold computers, so the point is that it wasn't nearly as exciting but my neighbor His dad comes in. That was an astronaut show off commander John Allen. Did he come in in his, uh, you know, he did not come in and shoot. Well, I only because I'm of a certain agent. We hadn't actually had a space shuttle flight. Yet he was still training. You know. So this is between going to the moon and the space, So there was a gap. You know where we don't get. What are we gonna do next? You know, we've already been to the moon and that what? And yeah, so Commander Alan came in. Um for show and tell Shut it down. Your mom wasn't a cocktail waitress. Appreciate that. Yeah. Yeah, but he just shut down the whole bring your parents. I'm like, Well, who the hell is going to go after this? Seriously? Nobody else is gonna get my dad's a lawyer. Who cares? Okay, cocktail waitress may have worked, though. It's made of like that, because when it came in, thanks for him, I'm going to come in and make strange. She wore her outfit. Yeah, he's been to space. Let me show you to make an old fashioned. Okay, let me show you something that's going to be more practical in your life. Kids moving forward, But this is like the third grade for me. And it blew my mind that there were astronauts like they were real people, and I'd seen one and he was right next door. That is pretty cool. It is really cool. It's unbelievably cool. Um, but yeah, So we have a a new race for space. But they I think Junior brings up a good point. I'm gonna say this. Not wishing for something, but just acknowledging During the entire space race, whether it be NASA or the Ruskies. Things went wrong. Stuff blew up. Parts failed. Space is an unforgiving place. And I'm not just talking about Sandra Bullock being up there. She made it back. Um oh. Spoiler alerts. Yeah, he didn't. Things are going to go wrong and things go wrong with Planes find things go wrong with cars, boats sink, you know, I mean, okay. I mean, I'm just gonna It's gonna happen. It's going to happen. Well, let's let's face it, though. NASA paved the way right. NASA went through all that. NASA's whole Branson got to go to space. Yeah. Oh, and and hopefully learn some lessons. But you thought NASA learned lessons and things kept blowing up when you charge people A million dollars, though. Yeah, you better not blow them. I think they are bringing back. I think I think it's a no refund policy. You have to sign a waiver or two. Yeah, Good point. Good. You imagine that Read the fine print. What's this part about? It may blow up. Where did it or I might not make it. Where is that in the? Yeah. Just same. Initial, please. Initial. Next to that part, But you red tab that it might blow up. Have you been out to a restaurant lately? A lot of people are out and about restaurants are absolutely packed. You might notice. So texas woman is sounding the alarm after finding a tracking device in purse. After an evening out she went out to dinner with some friends when she got home. She was cleaning out her bag and she found one of those tiles trackers. Something you can put with your wallet or your purse or your keys so if you lose them you can track them down. Only problem is it did not belong to her so she thinks it was lift into her bag by somebody that then could track where she was going ball of her home where she lives and i think as long as you stay within a certain group since yes you can track it so if it was someone that was at the same restaurants the ice just look at her and then you know he'll kinda know where she's going that's freaky stuff. It is for sure. She said she took a little. I don't know if there's a battery or she somehow deactivated deactivated. It and contacted the police and then put a psa upon tiktok. But what do you do. Go to your purse before you leave every single place. That's the thing like what do you do to prevent that. I mean you're already watching for repose around you guy no or maybe just make sure you've got a handle on where your purses at all times and that it's not open or available for someone to slip something. Although i mean if people are sneaking and good at this and that's obviously what they train themselves to do for you not to catch them. That's that's crazy. So mirror and morris was saying and that ryan heard is outgoing and she is really shy and she says that his outgoing trae is one that she wishes that she had. I'm like very shy. And i consider myself an introvert. So yeah if we ever walk into a room. And i don't know anyone i feel like he'll be okay but i need like a drink in my hand or something to feel like okay. I can have this conversation do so. Is there a characteristic of caitlyn's that you wish you had. Yeah a lot. I mean she is very much a natural athlete. She's when we play ball. She's the best athlete out there. She may not win because sometimes she's like amd i'm good. I'm tired but she's the best shooter. Her family's very athletic. I wish i had a a sort of natural ability. He's also funnier than i am. Which stinks that's all. I've been rewarded for my whole life. And then she just smarter than i am so basically i wish i could just take her and then crawl inside her body and just be heard. Yeah so yeah a lot of that. But she's also very good in a room where i'm not roman built like erin. I walk into a room. And if i'm not on like if it's not always here to perform he's here to do something i'm like. Nobody wants to talk to me. And so i'm very much like i just going to hang out in the back where she will go right into a room and and make people like her.

Can any long shots stun Tiz The Law at Ky. Derby?

"All right. Jody Delhi is going to give us the odds on the Kentucky Derby race. Of course we've heard about is the law. Everybody's liked his. The law is the law. Well, there are other horses in the race. Right, Jody? That's right. Says the law is 45. This is current odds right now. They just opened the windows this morning. Ah, 25 minutes ago. This is current odds. Tis a law fortified. And then there is a pretty good distance between him and the next horses. And the next course is there's actually a pretty good distance of who are a pretty good racer. Who's the second choice right now. It would be Santa Anita Derby winner Honor AP at 8 to 1 Authentic, though, is 9 to 1. That's Bob Baffert horse who won the Haskell Tendo one Bob Baffert horse 1000 words Who won the shared beliefs. So you've got those horses? Ahh, right there. All four vying for second choice in the Derby. Let's run from the inside, post position out. We'll give you all of the odds here. A CZ. We go through it finish the fierce. The number one horse, The one eyed gilding has been scratched. He is not running in the race number two Max player, Ricardo Santana Jr. The jockey, Steve asked. Musa is the trainer Max player. Is down. 18 Toe one. He was a morning line. 30 to 1. He's back. He's been bet. Pretty good. So far enforceable. Adam. The skits of the jockey Mark Cassie is the trainer 23 to 1 down a little bit from 30 to 1 in the morning line. Storm. The court who was the breeder's Cup juvenile champion last year, Julien Les Peru is the jockey Peter Kurten is the trainer 26 to 1, Major fed James Graham and Greg fully 34 to 1. They were 50 to 1 in the morning line. Number six. King Guillermo has been scratched. Money moves. This is the one that is interesting to me. Money moves from Todd Pletcher, making just his fourth career start. Was a 32 1 in the morning line and is getting bet. Heavy. Todd Pletcher's Horse Down 15 to 1 South Bend. I don't think all the Notre Dame Ah money has come in yet on South Been 34 to 1, Tyler Gaffney, Leone and Belmont trainer. Mr Big News. Gabriel Sias trainer Brett Calhoun 47 to 1 number 10,000 words as we said 10 to 1. Number 11 Necker Island, who, by the way will have his blinkers off, so he's been running with blinkers on in his last few races. He will not wear blinkers today 51 to 1 Miguel Mania and Chris Hartman is the trainer. Soul a Valon Day. Patrick being cone Lucas Panici is the jockey Volonte 29 to 1 attachment, Right, Dale? Romans 49 the one I thought that he would actually get a bet down. I'm a little surprised that that one winning surprise winning impression is no surprise. He is 52 to 1, the longest shot on the board. Dallas Stuart and Joe Rocco. In the irons, New York traffic 15 to 1, Paco Lopez and Saffy Joseph is Ah Ah, actually, I think he's gonna end up being like the third or fourth choice when it's all said and done. Probably a little bit of a buzz horse here out here among the horseman Honore P. 8 to 1 in the 16 post position with Mike Smith. John Sheriff's is the trainer. Tis the law 4 to 5, Manny Franco and Barclay Tagg. An authentic on the outside Bob Baffert 9 to 1 John Velazquez in the iron, So there's your Kentucky Derby odds for right now and again betting is open. And we've got a bunch of our hot We have 30 minutes to the first post 31 minutes right now to the first post long time before we get to the Kentucky Derby, So a lot of money will be bet on there, Terry.

"I don't know how much derby influence this feels can have. But I'll tell you what I think. There are some really nice horses in here. That WanNa do this one turn mile and see if maybe one of them can Can Get the job done and move forward on that Derby trailing. Yeah Yeah I think it's a pretty nice field You know may not be an contain any derby contenders like you said but you know. I certainly think they're handful in here. Who are going to make this an entertaining an interesting race. The one I could see four or five of them winning. It's one where he'd probably end up having a spread but there were of them that I was kind of interested in You know what a horse that. I'm pretty fond of the Montauk traffic. I like young horses. Who are able to overcome adversity. And that's exactly what. This horse did First Time that was just Don't know what happened. She dwelt early and he did. And that was the end of it from the rail in the slop at Laurel you toss that race and and I mean he did exactly what you want a prospect to stretching out prospect to do he was able to sit able to make a run and pass runners and he was impressive in both of his next two wins the maiden when Downstairs in the and the Wingfield win. Also at seven eighths Settled inside didn't have a problem kicked out and And was able to run away from his competition. So I I don't think a mile Distance will be much of a problem for him. I just don't know how much upside he really has. You know. He's a gritty horse and He's one that I wanNA use but the one who I'M GONNA put on top of the three wars stop or I love the way that he improved. First Time in Blaker is just second time on dirt last time here at the The Mile trip here and act when I turned in a big beyer speed figure went right to the front And just kept on going. I think he is one that I want to keep an eye on moving forward. I think he'll be a decent prospect stretching out to to turn on the on the dirt and I'm GONNA give shops go right from his maiden win to Earning grade three status here in the In the Gotha. Yeah. I'm definitely. He's my topic as well. I'm a big fan of wall stopper. I liked what I saw from him. First Time Out Less time out rather when he got the meeting win. First Time blinkers. I should say now. That was a big effort. Thought Mischievous Alex might have some distance limitations. But it's hard to argue. How good he's been in his last two starts. Since his trainer John Service added the blinkers to his repertoire. I don't think six does without a chance from an ever Keough. Sauna current one turn mile. Got The goose ca pedigree on the bottom. I don't know how far this was gonna WanNa go with the one turn. Mile shouldn't be a problem and Necker island Friday he won going a mile in the slop. At Churchill downs just stopped got out running swell last time. The miles should be more to his Liking as he's already won distance and we'll see him. I under neath. I think it's wide open. I think war stopper shows up. They're all running the second money. I'm a big fan of his An of all these sources. I think him He's probably the one most likely to move on the Derby Trail. Regardless of what happens tomorrow. He can get beat tomorrow and maybe still move forward. I'd like to see him win But if he got beat I'd still think he can be contender. Might be the only one more stop for both of us in the grade. Three three hundred thousand dollar.
