Relatives say at least 9 Americans killed in Mexico, many of them kids

"This is for the record nida and for my grandchildren are for he shot up right on the road a lot more to and obviously devastated grandfather taking video of the burned out S. U. V. in which his daughter in law and his grand kids died we're still getting details for you this morning but we do know that at least five people possibly as many as nine were murdered in Sonora Mexico and that includes babysitters covered to the remains of for little kids and the woman in the vehicle it's Leah status of queen creek she says at least nine of her relatives are murdered including her nephew's wife and that and her we'll just call her niece her nieces for children she says the two other mothers were also killed and is you can imagine this is just a it's more than than this family can possibly wrap their head around they're all caught up in what's believed to be a cartel shooting they're they're saying you know might have been a case of mistaken identity but anybody who is capable of doing something like this they need to be brought to justice and it seems like something that the Mexican government Mexican law enforcement is incapable of doing now that the other kids go and so they were walking a lot of them have gun wounds bullet wounds and so the oldest who was thirteen he had all the kid the rest of the kids behind a tree on the side of the road and walked back to our community to get help like I said before we don't have all the details were still trying to figure out exactly what happened in exactly what is still going on word that a couple of those S. U. V.'s are are missing as are some of the people who apparently survived the shooting once again we don't have all the details but in not official word from what happened from the US government or the Mexican government but Brandon Judd who's with the national border patrol council we've talked to several times on this show told fox news this today what you have to look at is you have to can there is as we continue to do a better job on the border we can expect to see more violence it's rare that cartels lash out in American citizens on less were cutting into their profits which is what's happening right now and is it time as I've suggested maybe a little earlier to go after them for the U. S. to go into Mexico and go after the cartels directly we have to do is go back to and look at what we did in Colombia we absolutely helped out the Colombian government applied in there well yeah we we but we we went in there and we did our job to safeguard the American public is not like we went in there solely for the help of Columbia we went in there because it was in our best interest a relative of this family back in two thousand nine so ten years ago was also killed really and she wala and he was an anti crime activist so I'm wondering if this group was known for ya coming out against criminal activity in the area or if it was indeed a case of mistaken identity because I can't imagine somebody knowingly gunning down mothers and their

Trump administration extends detention of migrant families with children

"The news the trump administration is announcing that it wants to move to scrap the so called Florez agreement this is in order to allow migrant families to be detained longer as their cases are being considered instead of having them released in just twenty days time which apparently is not enough time to to process them more than four hundred thirty two thousand members of family units have been taken into custody from October to July that is a four hundred fifty six percent increase and most are being released into the US trump backers say is all to protect the children from human trafficking not to mention the populace the vice president of the national border patrol council spoke to fox news about this this is what it comes down to in which we're seeing these groups are coming across with minors and a lot of these miners are we know within the ages of fourteen fifteen years old and we ask them for their parents in their arms you to see the individual that their with their their parents but we don't know that we don't know that for sure there's also individuals that are you know smaller that younger that are being brought in by these individuals and they're being used by the criminal element to further break the law and and you know find these loopholes in our immigration system the bottom line is this something like this helps us so we can better determine if these individuals are actually a guardian or a parent to these kids I mean it's just the amount of people that are being released without having children is without really knowing for sure if the rule gardens is it it's been a great it's pretty large I will give you even stories we've had individuals that have called to the station's asking where is my child he hasn't been released and we don't we got into this role where is your child who did you give your child off to ten days I handed off to an organization because they said they would give me extra money to be able to come into the United States so they rent their children and those are just some of the perils having to do with our southern border and the dangers

"We've been seeing more and more numbers jump on our Facebook page, too big deal. We love it. And that is it turns out that the Facebook page is the easiest way where agents can interact with us and not agents. But, I mean all the listeners, send us messages through there. It's a big deal. We also got the Twitter page at BP Greenland and the Instagram at the official, Greenland podcast and my seamless plug on Instagram, and I post a lot of stuff there little happenings here and there. And once again, I will. Throw it that disclaimer the things that I post on my personal Instagram have nothing to do with any thoughts or issues that the national border patrol council may have or the border patrol the border patrol the border patrol God forbid that I tell people, I'm representing the agency because I don't know how to lie that. Well, so I just, you know, four page to it's, it's I like it. I mean, I'm fun. Pretty crazy week. I mean a busy week with spending on stop the big meeting in town. So we had it was fantastic. Thank you to all the staff at the Marriott on second street right in front of the university of Arizona. I can finally get that off my chest and say where we had our convention, and it was not like star pass or. So Paul Perez was the executive vice president. He he's been working in, and we work for quite, you know, so right now, we're already working on her next convention just ended and we're working on pricing, and where we're going to have it in facilities, and we look at what's around the area. And what helps and what I mean, that's there's a lot of factors that look into that are into picking this place. And once again, Paul Perez than a fantastic job, his entire executive board out of real grand valley to a great job Paul's in charge of getting the, the things that we had out the training materials. Sometimes, you know what I mean? And there's always like a backpack or a bag that he hands out, you put some stuff in there for the membership for the guys that are coming in to, to do the training and this year. They, they picked Tucson there's a lot of places that get picked, but they look for we obviously were looking for affordable spots. In the past, we have had several in in. Las Vegas, Nevada. Right. And people think, oh well, you know, the union guys go to baguettes to do this, and that no, the reason they go to Vegas is because they get a very good deal on group rates at certain places, and it saves the membership a lot of money. So that's what they did. So that's how they ended up picking that spot. It was not in any way, shape or form. Thumbing our nose at the issues that we had previously with the university of Arizona. In fact, I think the opposite, it, it helped because you have a lot of the local restaurant with a little restaurants spots there, along University Avenue, just a block away from the Marriott, and the agents the entire time they were here Thursday night. Friday night, Saturday night Sunday night. They all went to these places during the lunch hour during the breakfast, our supporting the economy. That's supporting. Yes, it was a good thing. And to be honest, everybody. There was a fantastic. Everyone was was very good. All the staff at all. Those restaurants gentle Ben's. The staff there was just great. Everyone was great. You got a frog in. Fergon's. Froggatt Ferkous was fantastic. There's another spot up up the street next frog for no anchovies. Right. They were great. Just everyone was fantastic. It wants to stay. It was is a good time, the, the people of the staff from Cabrillo credit union came out here from San Diego. They were, you know, doing a bunch of giveaways, and it was, it was a good time, had by all and most importantly, the training was fantastic. Right. The training was put on by the national border patrol council attorneys. They they're just they're just great people. You know, and they're smart and their intelligence. So we had attorneys here from California, obviously from Tucson and from the Texas area. They came down the did the training. We had national meetings. We just had. A lot of stuff going on. It was it was good. We talked about a lot of issues. You know, we spent a lot of time in significant time dealing with everything that's going on. It was it was good. And then we had a dinner buffet Sunday night that you skipped out on didn't skip thrown under the bus. I thought you said Saturday, then, you know, I'm bummed because I really wanted to meet face to face Lee. You know, Chris Hector Brandon some of these guys and they asked for you. A lot of guys. Ask for you. There was guys from the northern border. They was Andy. Are we see anti in ahead to break down and tons of truth, and say, Andy doesn't really exist? Just like an Alexa. Yeah. He's he's, he's. It's me. I'm actually Andy change your voice. I just changed my voice. It's just added features here in the studio, you're mazing. So I told them say it again. Say it again. But I'm amazing. You're amazing. Myself next year. I definitely wouldn't let's get to travel hope. So. Yeah you go. There you go. But there was a lot of things that we talked about, obviously, we spoke about the five percent retention bonus that we received we talked about the new pistols, which is blocked, and, you know, all the issues not issues, but other good things about that. The mobility program is being revamped on the pistols, maybe can answer this one, but house that being incorporated. Is it like a rollout? Or is just here you go. Here's your issue. No. They're going to do a roll out is what we're hearing. They're saying they're gonna start at the northern border rate. And obviously one of the, the guns that agents have to pick from just two guns is what I'm hearing the Glock nineteen and the Glock forty seven now don't try to look up the Glock forty seven right? Because whatever you look up. It's not really the Glock forty seventy something that resembles it, perhaps whatever some photo shopping here and there, but the for the Glock forty seven show shout out to all the guys that Glock is a gun that is specifically. Designed for CB p very nice so no, not only that would no other law enforcement in the country can really able to get it. So it's not a special model just for Leo. It's like it's not a special model just for love a special model just for CB pretty cool and last time hearing office of field, operations at the custom side of the house aren't aren't gonna use it for some whatever reason, I don't know why it's I don't even get in that world. But I can tell you that, if that happens, it's gonna make that Glock forty seven in my eyes, even more elite because in the end, the only law enforcement personnel that will be carrying Glock forty seven. Is border patrol agents? And I think that's pretty cool. We had an update from the attorneys on a big lawsuit. That's been going on agents know what it is. If they've asked many times, what's, what's the deal with the lawsuit? We had the attorneys come down spoke just so you guys are aware. The, the loss did not the, the law firm did not go under break break up or anything. They just changed their name. And that people were like, oh, my gosh. What happened? They did a name change. That's what happened. They changed their name everything going as planned. I'm not gonna get into all the specifics of that here on the show because I just don't think we should but I can tell you that it's small kinks are being figured out now. And were the I can see the finish line. We're gonna that's going to be a great news for all the agents out there that signed up. I think it's, it's fantastic. You deserve it, it was a lot of work that was done by many members of the national border. Procon. So, you know, this is what happens some guys, come up with ideas. But in the end NBC's the one that has to do a lot of the work. I'm not trying to knock the guys that come up with the ideas. But at the same time, I don't want the guys that come up with the idea is to knock the guys got to do all the work, you know, and that's basically where where I'm at. I'm gonna talk about the elephant in the room row quick. Oh boy. Hit the brakes and, and talk about the elephant in the room that we've talked about for awhile. Especially during the convention, and that was a lot of things on the news on the acting secretary, Kevin mcilveen there was, obviously Sunday's disturbing issues that have been talked about. And in the end would people are saying is all the fingers point towards Mr. McClean, perhaps he wasn't on board with some of these. I don't want to call them rates because that's not what they are. He wasn't on board with some of the enforcement of the arrests that they were going to do across the country. And I'm going to break down on what that is. We have individuals that have tried to come into the country and they have been successful in their here legally, I guess, because they're going through an asylum claim when you're going through an asylum and claim you're here legally you enter legally and until you're cases heard, and it has been determined that perhaps you do not have a proper claim for asylum. That's when you're ordered to leave the country because they say, okay, your claim was false or your claim doesn't hold any water. It's not done. Denied temporary status. What they have until then. Right. Yes. So since it's denied you gotta leave right? There's also individuals that that apply for this status and they choose not to ever show up to court or show up to, to explain their status. So all of a sudden, now you've exhausted that. So you're ordered you know you're here illegally now at that. Point, he never showed up to court. So what they agencies we're going to do is they were going to go after those individuals that thumbed their nose at law enforcement that decided to say Adam care, I'm not going to show up or those that did show up, and it's it was figured out that they can't be here anymore. It's similar to a guy that's a US citizen. Commits a crime. There's a warrant out for his arrest. And so what happens you go after him? Right in this case, we would go after those people, and they would be sent back to their country of origin but unfortunately, something came out, and they said, oh, these are the cities that are going to be attacked. And then our own law enforcement people that have taken oaths to serve and protect decided to start pushing stuff out to the communities, that may.

And he says the Pentagon is going to do what they need to do to help keep our border between the United States and Mexico safe. Brandon Judd, president of the national border patrol council says the only reason the Pentagon has to step in is because because congress isn't doing their job. The president is left to use his authority to action look at ways that he can solve a crisis. If congress would actually step up, we wouldn't need the. Department of fence, but because they're not stepping up the president has to step in and he has to solve this problem on his own. "Reaction is continuing after President Trump vetoed. A congressional resolution fucking his declaration of an emergency at the southern border. USA radio networks Timberg has more. Now, this is President Trump's first presidential veto art, Al queda was the vice president of the national border patrol council. He says they've been seeing an influx of people crossing the border illegally across every sector, including the Yuma sector there twice. They're holding capacity. They have twice as many as they can hold a couple of weeks ago. There was agents from Tucson that were going down to El Paso, and we were going in buses loading up some of the individuals that have been turning themselves in El Paso, and we were driving him over to Tucson. So we can process them here because they were at over capacity, and that does and this is what people need to understand. What that does is? You're moving agents that are supposed to be protecting our borders having to do this transport. So what's happening is? It's weakening our southern borders. It is. Definitely a an emergency. "It's proven we know it. Brandin jet the president of the national border patrol council. What's the answer to that? Why is it yet again that we haven't had Chuck Schumer Nancy Pelosi half to answer? To that claim to that charge to to that desire need, why is it that the border patrol for the first time ever endorsed, not just the wall plan, but he presidential candidate. Because they felt it was that important talked a little bit about perception versus reality. Hey, it is Brian mutt? Your friend in south Florida, host of the morning rush. WJ known West Palm Beach, the Brian Mudd show w in Miami. And it's always an honor and a pleasure to be here. As a guest host for the great one, Mark Levin, and we are all in luck. Because guest host the palooza ends tonight on Monday, his brilliance is back with all of us. Now, while we take a look at perception of reality. The southern border year per permanent. So if your perception your perception is that we do not need additional. Border fencing walls. What have you anything physical down there? How is it? The you can just cast aside the reality, it's a spouse to you. By the folks around the southern border the rally they're doing the job. How can anybody justify that one? See if the perception is that it's not needed. Would you personally feel different? If that was your reality. You're the person down there. You probably have seen just a little taste of some of what takes place, for example, projectiles come across. And then heaven forbid they actually use tear-gas, right? Then they have to deal with it. I was that was that overly aggressive. It's very easy for somebody. Who's in a newsroom in New York to question, isn't it? But what were the reality be? If that person was not in a newsroom in New York, but rather was that border patrol agent that had lobbed data? Reality told the different then. Talk about perception and reality. We're talking about this partial government shutdown and the reality is that our household. Our average L household costs for federal government employees is fifteen thousand two hundred dollars per year. If we actually had a cut checks, unpaid as to the federal government to pay all the federal employees that eat up that fifteen thousand two hundred dollars per year. What we challenge the status quo. What the reality of what we're paying for begin to set in would you feel differently about it with the status quo? Be okay. Or would you see the potential of that fifteen thousand dollars to your family and go? Wow. Is this really the best use of my money? The perception is very easy to just go along status quo government until the reality sets in now because the federal government has done its level best over generations to reverse. The course protecting itself. Protecting the status quo with federal withholding white at the top of the list. So you don't see it. We we just take it from you. And you're so fortunate to get to keep what you earn even though it's the exact opposite federal government doesn't have a dollar until we've earned it. And then we pay it to the federal government. But what the reality be different? I still even with yesterday's question. When I asked what you would you rather have three thousand eight hundred dollars this year, Warren into the partial government shutdown. Would you write personally a check for thirty eight hundred dollars to in the partial government shutdown because that's the savings. That's the savings per household. I if this war just to go on in perpetuity, which again is not good governance every time I put out something like that. Somebody's way is that. Right. And then we can't go. I'm not saying this is the right way to go about it. I'm illustrating points. Yes. Two weeks without a quarter of the federal government and the sun still rises, and we have the best economy in a generation. Oh, by the way. But the broader point is we do not need anywhere near as much government as we have. And if we were actually tasked with having to pay for it on an ongoing basis and really think about what we're paying for. We would do it differently. I doubt we would do it differently. I have no doubt the liberals would do differently. I have no doubt that. Of Nancy Pelosi and her family were on the southern border in areas where there isn't any fencing, and they were tasked with having apprehend whatever comes across the border. They might feel a little bit different about maybe providing some type of physical barrier. Right. So here's more perception and reality for you. Some interesting information. Came out the Pew Research Center on overall crime in this country. Just conceptually for moment. If I were to ask you if you think we have more or less crime if we're more or less safe over say twenty five years ago. What would you say generally in this country? If you think that we have more crime, well that makes you normal. According to sixty eight percent of folks think that crime is actually rising however over the past twenty five years, we actually seen a decline in fact, violent crime violent crime up forty nine percent property crime is actually down fifty percent. You see the difference in perception versus reality. One of the concepts. I've talked about for awhile, we are still somewhat trained conditioned inclined to think that the mainstream news media has more influence than actually does. And I will always remind you that if mainstream news media, which according to the media research center has been ninety one percent negative, and it's coverage of the Trump administration ran along the mainstream news, but he had the kind of influence that at times, we think it has there. There's no way in Haiti's that Donald Trump is president the United States. Right. So by virtue of heme, even being president. You'd know, you know, even though it might fr. Straight you that they're not winning their influence is waning. But the most pervasive form of bias in news media is a mission the information that you don't receive. So where this all comes together in where this fits into the the very different puzzle pieces here when you are not presented with the reason why we are seeing climb come down. When you're not hearing that crying has come down that is a form of bias in and of itself. The Pew Research Center is not some kind of right wing organization, you're going, well, the, you know, crime Sasser down. That's very interesting. So we're I ended up doing the next layer of research into this being in Florida. I pay attention to obviously, everything that's going on in our state here. Last year we received word that Quine reached a forty seven year low in our state forty seven year low. This while Florida had an all time record number of gun owners with the more concealed carry permit holders in Florida than any other state in the country surprises a lot of people even four radiance. And when I ended up taking a deeper dive, you could actually take a look and connect the dots. And see that the more. Legal gun owners. He had in the state the lower the crime rate, which actually coincided with other information other information like this that the average concealed carry permit holder is fifty percent less likely to ever commit a crime than someone who doesn't own a gun. That's all part of bias, a news media omission of that type of information coincides with other information going back to the Clinton administration which found that there is far more far more crime that is prevented by the fence of USA firearms. The never committed with them. That also was backed up by research by multiple universities, including four to state in recent years once again showing the defensive use of firearms prevents more crime, then is ever caused by it. But what is put in front of you? Well, we do see that. There are some really horrific events really big bad awful events kind of colors. Our perception. You might have something like what happened in Vegas, or we might have something like what happened at the pulse nightclub in Orlando or Stillman Douglas and Broward County, Florida, those types of things often color our imagination, and that is where we still have mainstream news media influence that is calling the picture that is also false. And part of the reason that I'm bringing this up. There was a piece of legislation proposed yesterday that not many people know about or or paid attention to its gun control. And it came from none other than Senator Marco Rubio. And you're gonna what's all this about. So every time you have a new congress all the pending legislation from a previous congress that is dead that Bill on Capitol Hill from schoolhouse rock. He was part of the top two percent. Only two percent proposed legislation ever passes into. Becoming law and literally an average of more than ten thousand bills die when with each new congress that comes into session in the wake of the shooting. Stephen Douglas in Florida last year Marco Rubio proposed some reforms that became part of comprehensive gun control here in Florida. And it went nowhere. The very first thing he decided to do in the new congress was propose it yet. Again. Now, here's something to watch. Whatever you happen to think of it your name, we tend to also through perception and reality. I think that everything is necessarily partisan, for example, any type of gun control or reform is necessarily something that Republicans stone one in necessarily something that Democrats do want and and the like, but somewhere along the line there can be a level of pragmatism that enters the equation. And this is where Ford is a little bit anomalous this way four dead pass comprehensive gun control reform last year. And it happened to be reformed that as a proud supporter of the second amendment and a gun owner, I generally supported and it happened to pass with a completely Republican controlled state government here in Florida happened to be signed into law by our Republican governor, Rick Scott. Who happens to be the incoming junior Senator from Florida? So as Marco Rubio proposed this as you have Rick Scott that is going to be another Senator from Florida who actually helped install it and make it happen. One of the things you're likely to see playing Al is some type of reform here. Now, you might be aware the President Trump ended up using his pen to sign out through kid of action bump socks he is also indicated that he could be open to some type of reform obviously, Democrats if they are serious about any types of reform the system might get behind this in the house. There are actually two types of legislation to two directions. The might have a better chance. A better chance of passing in this new divided congress then previously you might not like it. But this happens to be one of them, potentially this gun control. All the forest style reform that could take place federally. The other happens to be an infrastructure, which of course, is something that President Trump ran on. But Republicans didn't want to fund through digital death spending. But Democrats have been supportive of. So just a little bit of information to kind of put in some of the perceptions of the reality that also some of what's going on in some of what you're likely to hear about about the time that perhaps this partial government shutdown does come to an end, I'm Brian Mudd in for the great one..

President are Quito you may recognize the name as perhaps of Hispanic ethnicity. Did you apply every identifying characteristic that person is Croatian and you call them at Hispanic unbelievable? It is unbelievable. So this was during a White House press briefing, and he was talking about building the wall. Here's what he had to say. Sarah. I just want to talk about some of those criminals that border patrol villages apprehend on a daily basis. We're talking about murderers, rapists, people that commit very serious crimes in this country is has been doing an amazing job in deporting allow these people back to their countries. Unfortunately, once we people fees, people will not stay their country, these criminal aliens that they released from jail that have been deported. We'll come right back into the United States. However, we had a physical barrier. If we had a wall, we will be able to stop that. Oh, what what a hater. What a hate monger. What a racist. That's that's amazing. Yeah. He he outlines. Here's a guy who deals with this. Every single day of the week every day. He knows the criminal illegal aliens are coming across the border. And he knows that that's a problem. And he knows that when the catch him, and they send it back. They still come right back across the border. So how would it be? What would happen if maybe we had some border security, and maybe put up a wall to make it a little harder for them. That's amazing. They've also worked in areas with walls. This is not or at least fencing. Yeah. Fencing are. Yeah. Because they one of them. Maybe it's this next clip here. Let's listen to this. This is actor Garza might notice that Croatian across. Yeah. "A shift takes a toll on some of these vehicles are literally falling apart the cost of replacing older. Vehicles would be two hundred fifty million dollars in many areas of the border. The agents have no communications forget interoperability. We do not even have operability, and this is a real threat to agents safety. We estimate that we could dramatically increase border interoperability for one to twenty five million dollars. That's three hundred seventy five million dollars. Keep in mind when Trump talks about five billion dollars or some other number down the road when you total it all up. It's not just about a wall. And it's not some thirty foot wall of China. It's a whole security system and Judd was testifying about the communications elements and the vehicles they need which would be part of that budget and without those why have border security. They're all interactive there synergistic. He then noted by way of comparison. He's asking for three hundred seventy five million dollars for vehicles and communication equipment. He says back in two thousand sixteen the US government gave sandiego a border city, of course, on the American side with Tijuana on the other side, the US government gave San Diego more than one billion dollars to extend its trolley line. Well has nothing to do with border security and by the way, the national border patrol council. This labor union isn't some pro-trump partisan outfit. As a matter of fact, the union endorse Claire mccaskill a democrat from Missouri. Jon tester, a democrat from Montana, and Heidi Heitkamp and other democrat in the last election cycle, all Democrats in Judd's assessment three hundred miles of border fencing could make a big difference. So here's the question would Trump and his supporters accept a partial fencing? Of course, they will in the final analysis. You'll get there in stages could Democrats live with that. Well, they could. But they probably don't want to because of politics what they're hoping for is they'll slow play this and then in twenty twenty when a Democrats elected president and the Democrats have control of both houses of congress fell. They'll reverse this whole process and have far less borders. Security and much more amnesty for illegal immigrants and encourage many more across the border. So they can come here become citizens eventually in vote for Democrats now Wednesday when he was in Iraq Trump sounded like he could live with this partial fixed for now. Although he left the door open to building more miles of of wall later. This is what he said, listen, we have a lot of great wall going in in the most important places. We're starting in the most important places, which I would say history says fellas that's a good thing to do right through the most the most important places, I and do the least important places last. So Trump is a deal maker a lot of the talk is to provide leverage in positioning wiggle room for an ultimate deal that to reasonable parties would make. Republicans and Democrats the Democrats don't wanna be reasonable. They want Trump to be embarrassed for not even getting this partial wall. This is revenge. It's part of the resistance, and it's their re election strategy for two thousand twenty now when Trump does appear at some kind of a publicity event at the border to talk about this with Jim Geraghty recommends is he should let the border patrol officers and officials explain themselves what I've just read to you here with the national media watching. So what they see? And what they experience they'll tell about what they see and what they experience as they perform their duties. And if Trump's set set up that way, rather than just stand up there in bluster the country, if they're shown this maybe the liberal media would leave out that part of the the event, but if the country were to see this to understand not just the grandiose statements about let's build this impermeable wall. A federal judges ruled against the Trump administration's ban on asylum for immigrants read and Joe is the president of the national border patrol council. He explains what this ruling means what the judge just told them is go ahead and cross the border illegally instead of going through a port of entry, which is a legal process. The judge just encourage them to break our laws cross the border illegally. Drained border patrol resources because then we have to deploy resources to those areas to take them into custody. This is the wrong decision. It's the wrong message to send. And this is what is spurring these caravans to continue to come. As we see caravan stacking up upon caravan. It's it's very disappointing. That a judge would would take this stance to encourage lawlessness.

"Discussing another one thousand now expected to arrive at the border members of the caravan. Some that have been able to split off a little bit rides up. Here. We continue with Jessica Vaughan, director of policy. Studies center for immigration Jonathan Gillam, Brandon Judd, Brandon, of course, president of the national border patrol council and Jonathan former FBI federal marshal. So we're expecting all these other people that are going to be coming. And if they go to a port of entry they're allowed to apply for asylum. Yes. What does that mean does that ultimately guarantee that however, many thousands estimates from seven to fifteen thousand people get asylum? It could mean that depends on how the department of homeland security is gonna view these cases in light of the fact that they've come a long way through Mexico and had the opportunity to apply for asylum. There. What happens is is that people have figured out that if you make it to US soil and say. That you have a fear of return that there's about a ninety percent chance that you're going to be allowed into the United States. But my understanding is always been that they have to apply for asylum in the first country. They arrive in that would be Mexico in this case, that's generally understood to be what's expected of people seeking safe haven. And I think that well Jeff Sessions give some guidance to asylum officers that they should consider that when getting moon reviewing these claims for asylum, but look what they want. They don't really wanna sign them. They want to get into the United States has the people that we let in who claim to fear of return will not even fill out the asylum application forms. Will not show up at their court hearing. And if they do it turns out that only about ten percent of them will be found qualified for Silom, but they just abscond from their proceedings, and they don't go home when removed by judge the idea is to get here get into the country, and they they know that employers can get away with hiring them, and they'll be able to live here almost indefinitely joining the larger illegal population, and as long as these policies the biggest wall is not going to stop these caravans. I wish I can go further. We we're just at a time. Thank you both for being with us. We appreciate it. Jessica thank you Jonathan. Thank you, Brandon all the best to you. It's unbelievable that we even have to discuss what Kamala Harris had to say. All right when we come back. We're going to get to your phone calls. But if you happen to be somebody that is like, Linda, Linda, would you say is this in the top ten mistakes you made in your life? When you bought your? Right. So you went twenty. That's my favorite story is it in the top five mistakes. You've made in your is it in the top three would say it's like number two number. What's number one? I don't even want. They're working for me. I guess all right. The next thing. You don't say that she goes to Mexico and jeeze having a vacation of her life. She's twenty years old and somebody says, well, you can have this vacation every year. You can lock it in right now just to get by a timeshare, and you sit you talk you get the timeshare, and however many years later, let's say over a decade thirty eight years ago. It's a nightmare. You're not that old. You all of a sudden you're paying every year for maintenance right every year. Okay. And you never go back. I don't Brian. Karen, keep yelling at me because I'm holding up the process. They all right. So Brian and Karen, they run a family owned business. It's called won't lonestar transfer lonestartransfer dot com as their website. Okay. And if you're in the situation have a timeshare you're paying all this money all these fees every single year, and you don't go and you want to get out of it. You wanna do it expeditiously legally you wanna do with people that know what they're doing? Well, that's Brian and Karen, lonestartransfer dot com. And don't let another year go by paying all that money..

"Help us fixed the border crisis Shearson cinema oppose funding to help law enforcement fight the drug cartels and she supported dangerous sanctuary city policies. Kirstin cinema is weak on border security, the national border patrol council is proud to endorse Martha mcsally for Senate. We know Martha has our back, and she'll do what it takes to secure the border Sally, and I approve this message and now back to the green line. We're back and they wanna talk about. Yeah. Pretensions than issue. We're having. Apprehension. Rio Grande valley sector chief Manuel Padilla says that the numbers have doubled for those crossing the border illegally. Over four thousand or four thousand arrests were made for the first week of this fiscal year compared to just over two thousand arrests being made on October of twenty seventeen they've doubled. Why do you think they've doubled because catch and release is still going on because there's no consequences for the individuals? That are breaking our immigration laws because the rhetoric alone that President Trump delivered. When he first took over office dropped the numbers and our leaders within the United States border patrol failed to act upon that window. That's what it comes down to why. Because this is what you have. You have all star team which is the border patrol agents to there. Then you have the managers in the coaches general manager all that. And then you have the owner. Which in this case, I will attribute the owner as being President Trump. So it works, right? So we are. Considered. I would say under new ownership. With all star players that need motivation. The need the proper bluffs, bats balls footwear. Uniforms. They need all that. The owner wants to give them to you. But the general manager who's been general manager for quite some time. Is feeding different information. Probably to the owner. Then you've got the coaches and the manager. Who are the same coaches and managers that were there before they just changed their position when turned into another manager and the other one is now the batting coach and just flip flopped. So where's the problem? In the managerial staff got all star players. I just said the all star players were the ones that were in line wanting this new owner, and they're happy with the new owner, President Trump. The issue has always been. The general manager and the and the manager of the coaches of the team. We're not going to change the game plan. If you have the same manager in the same general managers now, I'm not saying fire or higher positioned leaders. But give him another position somewhere else. I don't know. That's all I'm saying. I think we have good leaders within border patrol. I think a lot of them were going to be retiring here soon because it's time to retire. Then they're done, and they don't see any change. And I see it all the time with some of the leadership. I speak to it's going to be a scary next few years because we have. I don't know less than responsible or less than professional leaders that are going to be staying and they're going to be getting higher positions now. And then you still going to have the higher ups, which are running the organization that are still running it and they're doing a horrible job. So that's my rant on that. Because I think it's important that the. The regular citizen understands I'm not trying to attack because there's certain things I want to hold back on not because I'm scared to say it, but because I don't want the general public to think here's aren't just ranting and raving attacking his agency. I'm not taking my agency. We have fantastic agents. We have fantastic leaders. Unfortunately, many of the managers that are in this agency that are calling the shots and the bigger wig people in DC that are calling the shots or do a horrible job. At the expect the expense of the agents in at the expense of. Some of the leaders that actually want to be leaders. That's just the way it is. Yeah. You're seeing this crisis. You're seeing the amount of individuals that are coming into the United States. You're seeing it here in Arizona as I said more than fourteen hundred Central American illegals, primarily from Guatemala have been found travelling in large groups since August in remote areas in different parts of the desert in Arizona. I've been surprised to see the number of groups, you don't you think two three four maybe five people to the hundreds amazing one hundred people because there's no consequences any there's no consequence of getting caught getting released. So for our listeners who don't know what catch-and-release is. And I know we've explained but agents catch him they fingerprint him, they don't have any prior criminal history in the United States. Keep in mind. I don't have the database of their country. So I don't know if they committed crimes of their country, right? There's nowhere to house them. So you release them you make him pinky swear that they're short for an immigration court. That's it based on. I mean, there's more to the process, obviously. But that's an in a nutshell. That's what it is. No consequences. You know, they were talking. We were talking about the crisis. The Arizona issue the agency did site that at least eight years instances since August twentieth in which a group of more than a hundred undocumented aliens, usually including families and small children were found in areas of south west, Arizona. Now, I talked somebody sent me a message. I don't even know who it was. I get I get messages all the time and anonymous people, and there was a big group that they arrested and they all had the same phone number in their pocket. And so this I guess this guy is an uncle to over one hundred individuals. But they answered hey, do, you know, so and so you the younger. Yeah. Just what catch and release. It's obvious that it's a smuggling nation. It's just ridiculous, and they're laughing at our laws, and that's what upsets the heck out of me. You know? You see the amount of leagues that are coming through. You see them, you know, turning themselves in large groups. No, huge groups that are coming through their coming through Yuma. They're coming through our GPO grand valley. They're everywhere. You know, chief Anthony provides Nagata Huma did say, this is a humanitarian crisis that is impacting border security. Where the judge judges where the immigration judges on this. You know, why aren't they? At the border. We there's a you go to Tucson sector, and there's signed parking and one of the spots is assigned for immigration judge. Right. There's no one ever parked there. You can't even find parking at Tucson's station. But yet the judge has a parking spot, and he's never been there. Which is crazy. It's just you know, what I mean? It's just I don't understand how this thing gets run. And so this is affecting a lot of the agents. Yeah. And I'll tell you where where this is where there's a twist to it. You heard me say there's managers in reading leaders. That's just I guess, it's everywhere. But. And find out. I don't want to drop his name yet until I'm one hundred percent. Sure did happen. Right. But we had a leader at the two. Well, we had a manager at the at the Tucson station. Right. That ordered an agent to go handle a case, which he can do. That's why I'm not saying that's part of our job, right and managers. Yeah. Cases. Knowing full well that the case was going to go past his regular hours. I think it was like half an hour before the end of the shift right where twenty four hour operation. So he ordered this individual go do it. Now, this individual is got over twenty years in the patrol, she she is fantastic agent. She's done a lot horse patrol prosecutions. You name it. She's done it. So this manager orders her to go take the case. She does it because you know, what it is. But there's some history back there behind them to. And there's certainly history and during this manager Ray, so she's handling the case. It's goes into after her ten hours of work, right? There's some agents that are finishing off their own paperwork, their time and attendance sheet and stuff that they regularly do. So this manager is upset and he's got a couple guys with bullseyes on him that he wants to attack because there's the guys power hungry. That's what he is power hungry one of these power, hungry managers that you know, he he probably can't run anything, you know, on his personal life. So now, he decides to be a bully with agents, whatever. I don't know anything. I don't want to take his personal life. I don't like doing that. But you're over here. Trying to be a tough guy when you're not a tough guy. You're just a bully with something special on your caller. So you think about something? So now, you think you're running something the only thing you're running your mouth. Right. So he goes in there to this to the room where the agents are working and. He says. Hey, I want you guys to go ahead and. Help him. So he forces them knowing that he's not going to pay him overtime. But it's just gonna pay them calm time. And where I'm bothered is this leader is doing it. While he's wearing flip flops in shorts. Oh, well, you're not a leader. And the union their goals and spoke to the to the PAC of the Tucson station. And my understanding is the PAC's answer. Back was hey, he's in the right to do it. Yes. You're in the right to do certain things. But you're in of urine abusive bully that is doing things just to be a bully, and it's upsetting that this is happening and it's affecting border patrol agents there at the Tucson station. I wanted to get that out. I wanted people to understand that if it is not fixed. I'm not threatening. I'm not saying anything if I in fact, I just want to find out that all my ducks are in order, and I will be starting to name these people because civilians need to understand who these bullies are. And other people within the patrol need start, knowing the names of these particular bullies. I'm gonna go on break because I just got a text.
