"Possible. Come on, Give me a break man. Biden's plan starts with covering 50 million Americans with vaccines that require two doses in his 1st 100 days in office, according to reports. Vaccinations in the U. S. Began December 14th with health care workers and so far 38 million shots have been given a total of 2.4 million people vaccinated beyond the 100 Day. Mark is where the problem lies. Federal health officials and corporate executives agree that it will be impossible to increase the meat. Its supply of vaccines before April at the earliest. Because of a lack of manufacturing capacity. I'm Mike Power. Dr Anthony Fauci seems to be enjoying his new role in President Biden administration. On Thursday, Dr Fauci told reporters White House that he feels liberated that he can candidly talk about science with new leadership at the helm. The idea That you could get up here and talk about what? You know what evidence what the sciences and no, That's it. Let the science speak. It is somewhat of a liberating feeling, he said. Other claims made by the prior administration made it uncomfortable because they were not based. In scientific fact, Dr. Fauci was on former president Trump's corner of IRS task force, but the two publicly did not see eye to eye. Doubling the number of super vaccination stations in San Diego County. That's what the county says is planned by the first of next month. Now the first one was opened earlier this month. A pickle park second wind opened Thursday in Chula Vista, and one is planned in the North County, another in the East County. County supervisor chair Nathan Fletcher says appointments are necessary at the county's vaccination sites. It is not a walk up or show up, absent an appointment and so part of the traffic concern and that we're facing his individuals who are showing up just hoping to get a vaccine. "Twitter at Kogo Radio, All right, so Nathan Fletcher called anyone supporting the recall. Eyes a member of an effort to undertake a coup against democracy that it's an unconstitutional act. This is the recall against Governor Gavin Newsom for a laundry list of his failings. And that the recall supporters are white supremacists and neo Nazis. Absolutely shameful, No nose, no foundation. Uh And, you know, people say, Well, it's political speech. He's a member of the Board of Supervisors. He's a disgrace. He needs to resign from that post. It's divisive and it's dangerous. What he has said and done, But he's also a professor at U C S D. That's right. You still gets his Kush professorship. Funded by the way by a bunch of special interest donors who want to curry favor with him. Yeah, Someone's gotta look into that crap on now. A group of students at UCSD think that he needs to be disciplined for his disgraceful remarks last week. Joining me on the day My report is Austin Cats he's with UCSD College Republicans. Austin Thanks for stopping by. My girl. Thanks for having me on so blunt. You're still has this professor of practice job on believe it's that he teaches a a single class. Periodically. Uh, you're aware of it. I'm assuming right. Yes, it teaches California politics. That's his one point that he teaches. That's his one class that he teaches. Okay. And of course, it's been underwritten by politically, um, connected donors of his S o. He's got these kids in the classroom. And he just did a press conference where he called, um people, Nazis and white supremacists without any sort of foundation. He said that he has proof of it. Has not presented any of that proof. Um, you this weekend called for him to be disciplined. What sort of discipline? Are you looking for? Sure. So we release a statement for the college Republicans that you see it be calling from Tai would be suspended or terminate as a professor of practice at UCSD. And you could be upholds with color called these principles of community in which their rules in which students and teachers were found to be abide by, and what Professor Fletcher disease he violated the rules of Mutual respect for each other and of free speech. Who is comment, he said, you know to his own students who may be conservative, right word leaning or simply just signed the recall petition because they don't like the system of governance Euron associate with neo Nazis with white supremacists. We think that that is the horrible statements being made, and it's totally against the core principles that make all Trenton State. So he sent a letter to the chancellor asking for him to be suspended or to be terminated because we all know that if this is the other way around that this was the conservative professor. Their career would be done. And we're asking for it to be a two way street and him to be held to account as a professor out of these disciplinary process is usually go. So you send your request into the chancellor. Is they're sending any sort of additional process that you can push. So what we're doing in the student organization is were voicing a complaint were for formally informing the chance of a complaint and it is up to his purview or whatever institution at you. 50 On what action? Should go forward. Although I can't speak to the intricacies of that process. We're starting this process out here and be make sure that students at U C F D R heard and we're seeing a lot of support for, um Letter and I'll push even the left leaning You 50 Guardian admitted that Professor Fletcher's actions for outside of his bounds given to him as a professor. So I can't speak necessary to the intricacies of that were starting the formal complaint against him, And if the chancellor refuses to act, there will be other opportunities available to us. Tell me more about those other opportunities. I don't think the chancellor is going to act. He likes the money that Fletcher was able to get them in 2012. When he stepped down he got he got a grant from the state of California and that then Yielded his professor of practice roll on D also got people like Irwin Jacobs to give money to the school in another's of then sense followed up to curry favor with Fletcher. They waved the requirements of a professorship for him. He doesn't have a master's degree. They wave that specifically for him. I don't even know if he finished his bachelor's, by the way. But there is transcript in his records were very bizarre. In terms of you know where he went to school. On what degrees? He you know what degree actually may or may not have completed, so they waived all that. If they decide to bury this thing as well to make all these accommodations for Fletcher because of his political stature, what other options do you have so well? There's a title nine office at UCSD that handles complaints within discrimination. And since political affiliation is a protected class in California, that may be an option. We go down or not entirely sure on what we're doing now we hope the chancellor does the right thing. And actually answered the calls for his students to protect his students from the insides of violence that Professor Fletcher did. But there's a pet of mine office and other options that we may be down the future. But we're asking, but the chancellor do the right thing and actually uphold the book to one of his favorites. It's interesting that the left wing leaning student newspaper there Has chimed in was that over the weekend? What form did that take? They released the editorial in which they called professor lectures. Words. Violation of the principles of UC San Diego's principles of community. They didn't go as far as to call for his suspension or termination, saying free speech, blah, blah blah should be protected. But the fact that even The school newspaper, which has a history of supporting very left wing position, called out the fact that Fletcher did said horrible stuff. Shows that the student support is really there and we're confident that Our message is there and and that he did violate these principles. But we shall see if the chancellor decide that. That's that's a remarkable you're doing a great job. Thanks for speaking out. You know what's interesting is that you don't have a whole lot of politicians willing to speak out against Fletcher's disgraceful remarks. Even the Union Tribune did not do its job in doing an editorial against his remarks. Maybe they need to switch places with the campus paper. Appreciate you stopping by Austin Cats, UCSD College Republicans. Taking Nathan Fletcher to task for his disgraceful comments, likening supporters of the recall to neo Nazis coming up. "No, we've got we've got a failure of Nathan Fletcher and the Board of Supervisors. We have a failure of news some to get these vaccines out. And they're using that failure to basically say where we can open schools until that's done. Science is not on their side. So the question becomes. How hard is it to vaccinate? School personnel so we can actually get people reopened. We're talking about. In San Diego County alone, maybe a total of 20,000 Cross all the district's Think sending unified is like 13,000. Employees, maybe 8000. They're the largest district. So let's say 20,000. We're able to do in theory, 5000 vaccinations at Petco Park alone per day. So in four days time, boom done, Let's get going. You're telling me you can't be done. Of course it could be done. I've only contract it out to the private sector. How? What would you pay for performance? Guaranteed when there's money on the line that creates in immediate accountability mechanism for people to actually get things done in government offices that they're running the Soviet breadline. No one's gonna get fired for this. The arrogance is astounding. They don't care about the consequence of their failure at the Economic Development Department when they don't give out the Unemployment benefits for working families. Do they get fired? No. They get a salary hike and a pension spike. Newsome has never fired those folks. There's no consequence now. What is the consequence outside of the government agency? It's people who can't put food on the table. So now you've got Shutdown of schools and sports that's not grounded in science. And he says, we have to vaccinate people first. But when you take a look at who's in charge of vaccinations, its government and government is failing. By every measure of vaccinations. Car. What if what if the teachers and Andy Vac, Sir, You don't want to get vaccinated. They don't go back to work. Well, you're gonna have AH, lot of people say I don't want to take the vaccine. That's part of this problem here is that even for example, l A P d 40% of their workforce, said that they would not take the vaccine. 60% would Which is, by the way, in keeping with kind of the national polling numbers about 60%, the American people are open to taking it or eager to take it about 40% are either dead set against it, or probably not. When you've likely not Maybe if nothing bad happens, everyone else. So a 60 40 split is where you are, And that's one of the reasons why government has had such a slow distribution of the vaccines upfront is that even healthcare workers, there's there's resistance amongst healthcare workers. It doesn't mean that they know something that we don't know about vaccines. It's just kind of like the natural percentage that you're finding of people that don't want to get immunized. So if they don't want to take the vaccine Then, uh, well. As a government employee. Apparently, we're making it a requirement. Then I guess you can come to work and wear a mask and you're probably gonna be fine because up to this point Schools that have been reopened, have not had a covert issue without the vaccine, so I don't think it's going to be an end all be all requirement. It never has been for those other 36 states have successfully had Programs to take care of our kids. But he's sitting here saying, Well, it has to be all these people have to be vaccinated. There's no requirement that the teachers have to go back to work with the vaccines. We could do this literally in one week's time down at Petco Park. Now the state of California has officially announced that on bus was late yesterday that we got word of this. That if you're 65 or older, you're able to get the vaccine. But Where can you get the vaccine? My friends. We just got this email sent to us by a listener from scripts. They don't have vaccines at hospitals. We do know of Petco Park. One location that has the vaccine. But if you just show up at Petco Park a Where do you go be when you show up? They're gonna be like, Who the hell are you? You're not on the list. Do you see the failure that there is here? Even if you're 65 years old, you go down to Petco Park. You're going to turn away. I guarantee you Guaranteed. You're gonna turn away and you're gonna say Well, hold on a minute, But the governor said if I'm 65 or older, I get the vaccine. I'm here to get my vaccine. Oh, yeah. Joe Todd, Gloria Nathan Fletcher Say that this year is the list. This one right here. You're not on this list. Now until we literally say here, the locations first come first serve. We do have a priority line that our first responders and health care workers But the rest of you first come first serve. We will serve everyone provided that we have a dose unless we do that. This is going to continue to be the Soviet breadline. Slow as a snail's pace. And our schools are not going to open a Cindy Martin was sending your unified superintendent. What? We just call her the union choice. Okay? The union choice that the school district Cindy Martin originally had put out a projection that in January they were going to go back to school. That was in the fall. Uh they now she's not giving a projection anymore. That's how bad it is. That's how they know internally that they're not gonna reopen because the union won't let them They're they're gonna hold out for the bailout..

"Oh, gosh, This guy's a rock star. Uh, we gotta help him out and joining us on the two mile report on what you can do to help out is Ken Elliott with let them play California, Ken, thanks for stopping by. Thank you for having us. So Nathan Fletcher basically is pushing back on you guys saying that you all are coaches or your group is is is, uh, coaches, but you're not scientists so You're just gonna have to listen to him. He Nathan Fletcher knows better than all of you and we won't be playing sports until at least the phone. What's your reaction? Well, um, I have no idea what his Mr Fletcher's background is, But I do know that Coach glad Nick is 100% right? We have accumulated data from the 35 or so states. It did play football in the fall. We have a number of studies from large scale academic institutions. Such a University of Wisconsin, the CDC the W H O But let's say that it would be safe. If it was handled correctly. It would be safe and we're we want those kids back out, playing their games as soon as possible as safely as possible. And I know that coach glad Nick reached out to Nathan Fletcher numerous times on no response. As of the last report, Did Fletcher reach out and say, Hey, let's talk. Let's see if we can come and have a dialogue about this. I I am in pretty close contact with coach Glad Nick and I'm happy to report that someone from Fletcher's office did reach out to him today and they have scheduled they zoom feeding for tomorrow. Right hand. To be honest, I think it's because of people like you and other media. People who have helped us become big time news. The pressure's finally getting to them. Well, you see, Nathan Fletcher will be prepared for this. He will think that he can seduce the coach into thinking that Nathan Fletcher's the greatest thing since sliced bread. So be prepared for the platitudes in the mind games, although I think the coaches is pretty pretty sturdy and pretty focused on people pick for coach glad Nick in that contact. Yeah, but be prepared for for for Fletcher to mischaracterize the meeting repeatedly. This is the same guy Fletcher who you know whose policies pushed small businesses out of out of business. He shows up at Sports Store North Park. On duh. You know that's shutting down and says Here is a proclamation for your decades of service to the community. By the way, I brought a camera crew along. Could you say some nice things about me and and tell people why it's not my fault that you're shutting out? This guy is a narcissist and manipulative, So be very careful with this this zoo meeting, but that being said The only language Fletcher and his is kind speak is brute political force. How can parents and just random citizens help you all put pressure on these politicians? Well, the first the first thing I would do is encourage people to show up to the rally's tomorrow. I think we need to make a strong show. At these rallies tomorrow over 100 rallies up and down the state. I think we're a little over 20 rallies in the county of San Diego. Waiting information. Where can we get information on these rallies? So we have a Facebook page. Let them play C A or you can Maury's Aly, perhaps. Access it by place EA dot or if you go to place ea dot org's that will take you directly to our Facebook page. Under the announcements Tab. We have all the information on tomorrow's rally. The list of the school's a list of guidelines that we have issued, um, protocols for safety and other such things so that That's where they can get that information, and the second point is by making a strong show tomorrow. I think we can demonstrate to all the political people the people who make these kinds of decisions. Listen, We really just want to meet with you. We want to show you the accurate scientific data that we have. And we want you to make a decision not based on politics or the way it looks on television. We want you to make a decision based on the science, okay? And I just want to point out if you type in, let them play California into Facebook. Let them play California. Into the flight. Facebook search function. It will come up in here. Y'all have 32,400 members Right now. There's a couple other let them play groups, so don't be going to the wrong one. It's let them play California and they've got a masthead that says Hashtag, let them play, see A so That's the right group to go to to get your information. Asked to participating joining. And of course, if you want to turn out to some of these rallies, certainly, uh, you could do that, Um, have you heard from Any school district in terms of the board their school boards about joining with you because Nathan Fletcher can issue guidance and guidelines and and and and say you can't do this at the other thing. But if the school board sue if the school board's advance Their programs That could give you a lot of leverage you are you hearing from school boards individually. No, um You know, just from secondhand, the information that we've received as the leadership We gather that they're kind of Paying attention to what we're doing, but they're not sure yet that they want toe participate with us or or be part of our cause. I think they want to wait and see. First of all if we can show ourselves to be Syria tomorrow. Take all of our responsibilities seriously, and also to make sure that we have the numbers that we say we have. That will make it worth their while to perhaps perhaps dive in with it. All right. I think what you guys are doing is amazing. Our kids need our support. It's now important whether you have ah child that would be impacted or not. Communities impacted. "19 regime that's very similar to Gavin Newsom. On, Remember? Don't forget, uh, Andrew Cuomo, you know, really screwed up with the nursing homes in New York, forcing covert patients to be housed there. For capacity reasons, and it led to a lot of old folks dying in those homes. Um Cuomo, who has used draconian orders and, you know very, uh, heavy handed regulations in his state. Lock everything down. Cuomo is getting his rear end handed one just like Gavin Newsom is having his rear end and into him. And in his state of the state address yesterday, Cuomo said, quote ready for this. You ready? This is Andrew Cuomo, New York governor. Quote. We simply cannot stay closed until the vaccine hits critical mass. The cost is too high. We must reopen the economy. But we must do it smartly and safely. Holy cow knocked me over with a feather. This is Andrew Cuomo saying exactly what those of us in the reopened community have been saying. Now don't hold your breath. Just because he's paying lip service to the fact that his approaches failed doesn't mean that he's going to Reversed himself and come up with a better approach. No, that's not gonna happen. But now he is saying exactly what we're saying. We cannot wait until her herd immunity. We gotta reopen the economy have to do it in a balanced way in a strategic way now. Democrats like Gavin Newsom and Nathan Fletcher to Gloria, You all want to go criticize your buddy Andrew Cuomo in New York. Of course not. He's a Democrat. Can't say anything bad about a Democrat cannot now we're not gonna go after our own. But you call people like me and Jim Desmond County supervisors. It's been fighting for reopening. You call us terrorists and we've got blood on our hands. No. We just are pointing out your failures and saying there's a better way to do it. And we've been right consistently have been right about the data, the science etcetera. Here is Andrew Cuomo. Supporting The notion that the lockdowns Have not worked. It also hasn't worked is Thedetroitbureau shin of the vaccine. They started out with 25 million doses on Lee 35% of those doses have been given out so far. 65% of the doses are sitting on the shelves. And remember the covert vaccine has a shelf life. 30 days has to be kept under very stringent conditions, Temperature really low. It could go bad. And we are seeing a lot of health care workers decline the vaccine. But not because it's bad. I just think that they've decided for their own reasons to decline. The vaccine. Police officers in L. A county 40% of them said they weren't going toe sign up at this time for the vaccine, and they're at the front lines. Okay. They deal with people with covert all the time they need the vaccine. Is a priority first responder. And so The government which start out saying We're gonna give it to people based on race, and if you cut in line we're going to prosecute. You were going to go after you and your little dog too. Now that they haven't been able to get people to take the vaccine. Now they're scrambling. It has now been a month since California and San Diego have had their vaccines delivered. And now and now on Lee this week, are we seeing them scrambled? Why did you guys not have this set up ahead of time? Because you actually thought government is the power. People will only show up when we tell them to show up. It will be so overwhelming people will want the vaccine and they will have to comply with when we tell them to show up. No. Go where the market is. They're not going to be universal, um, compliance and acceptance of the vaccine. So let's for the time being vaccinated as many people as quickly as possible. Yes. Give priority to first responders and healthcare workers Give priority that those that are older, but go ahead and open up. As you know, you know, on call line. You know, show up, and as soon as we get all the priority people taking care of will take some of you people in the line. We have technology today, right so we can schedule people to show up just with a simple app. But most people don't know what is it my time, and I've talked to people in the health care industry there. They're completely confused. As to how when? Where, Why? How? How and where and when to get the vaccine. Finally They set up. I think at Petco Park wasn't at Petco Park. I think it was at Petco Park. The vaccine station Petco tailgate lot at Petco Park this week. Vaccination hub. So at least now we know one place to go. It's open 7 a.m. to 7 P.m.. They did 2500 shots on their first day of operation on Monday. Yesterday. They need to do far more than that, 2500. Is a drop in the bucket compared to what we need to be able to do so 2500 and one day times 30 days. 75,000 for, um A a full month. We have 3.5 million people divided by 75,000. And that's gonna take 46 months is a long time to get San Diego County done So again, it's a drop in the bucket. That should have been open a month ago. That should have been ready to go a month ago. But guess what? The Democrats were surprised. People don't want to take the vaccine. People aren't listening to us. We told them to take the vaccine and are not listening to us. What do we do with their although that vaccines are going bad? Well, because you told people not to show up. A lot of people didn't show up. You told people they cut in line, and they don't even know what the damn line is because you haven't been very clear about that either..
