Not Everything is right for the taking and I think that there's probably about three things to help people who want to survive this and want to do well coming on the other side with a business and presence and a brand that is even better than where they're at right now on the first is you have to have real mastery of the material so whatever you're teaching whatever your area of expertise is I think that it is important that you do have a real deep understanding of the thing that you're doing if you don't have a real understanding of the thing that you're teaching it's going to show you're going to get left behind so what that means is that you might need more education. You might need the ability get better innovation. Become a thought leader in your industry study more. Think outside the box that only someone who has mastery over their material really is going to be able to create those things. That are going to help you moving forward. The second thing that I think people need is a clinical and objective perspective. I think getting too attached to the way that you have done things in the past or the way that you think things should be done or the week that you like things to be done. Sometimes we can get really email about that. I think we kind of think. Oh well you know. This is the way I've always done ahead of this. What's worked in the past? I think sometimes we take it personally when things aren't working and look we're at a position right now. We're like a lot of things are not going to be working. People are going to experience a ton of frustrations failures obstacles and things come up and I think that we have to not take those things. Personally I think we have to look at all of this as clinical. So when things come up in your business and you try something and people aren't selling are people signing up or the message isn't hitting think. Resist the temptation to take it personally and try to just look at it clinically and go okay. What's working and what's not working and realize that it's probably is just a marketing. Issue is probably just a communication issue. Might even be kind of like mastery of the material issue. I think that if you look at it and you kind of remove the emotion. There's always a place to go and I think you have to maintain that possibility mindset in a place like this and we can't afford to be super attached to doing things one way and so what that means is again being clinical as possible and not taking your failures or your struggles personally getting clinical with it and then being action oriented and the last thing that I think that you need to do to survive and to do well in this time is be a leader because if you have a personal brand if you're teaching something on the Internet you are a leader whether or not you think that you are whether or not you want to be one or not. You absolutely are a leader. And I think that leaders lead with level-headedness. They leave with being grounded with having balanced the lead with action. They take massive action even in the face of insecurity even in the face of scarcity. And I think that it is important for the people who were phone you your audience the people who kind of look up to you whether or not you want that. You have to be that example. I think we have an opportunity to be that example so acting in abundance even when you don't feel one hundred percent secure even when you are getting a little bit into scarcity. I think it's important. So the three things that I think in summary We need to survive in do well in this time is number one real mastery of the material. I think that the masters and the people who know their material super well are going to be able to whether the storm number two getting clinical and objective with how you do things so instead of taking being super personally and getting really emotional. See Things as maybe marketing issue. A sales issue information as your communication issue and detached from being emotionally invested in it number three leadership and level headedness. I always ask myself. You know. It's okay to get emotional. It's okay to have all the feelings but the end of the day. How do I want to show up? And that's a conscious decision and it is a decision. I think a lot of people. Just feel at the mercy of what's happening and I always try to remember that we do have a say so those are the three things again. I think a good economy is great. And it's amazing but it's also a super low barrier to entry so to me. I would rather have something. That's a little bit tougher. I want you showing up and connecting with people leaning into what you were meant to do because this is our time as entrepreneurs and this is when the world needs us an even bigger way. Fear occurs when we direct our attention to something that we don't want faith occurs when we direct our attention to something that we desire something that we want one of the greatest lessons. Now that we aren't forced to create we could just allow inspiration flow and on the other side of things. If you're starting from scratch don't over think it builds something with their audience in mind make it intuitive and make it beautiful remember conversions. Are What matter here? Jordan Lee Duly author of own your every day so I have been spending a lot of time during this very interesting season reading and trying to look at it as an opportunity to really get clarity I think sometimes as entrepreneurs as go getters and as creatives it can be so easy to just get so caught up in all of the things we love doing. And all of the ways we love serving and all of the working in our business that we can sometimes forget to work on our business and that can really lead to a little bit of chaos. A little bit of lack of clarity because when you are multi passionate when you are passionate in general. It's really easy to feel like you're being pulled in a million and five directions and so this season I really have been encouraging creatives and entrepreneurs to take some time as much as it feels like a little uneasy that there may be a dip. In sales slower season when it comes to revenue. I always like to think about the way that fields work when you think about farming. Well how a lot of farmers would farm for thousands and thousands of years is that they would farm for six years and then on the seventh year let their fields rest and I think in some ways. We as doers and as business owners forget to do that and so what? I think is interesting about this time. As as much as it was unexpected and maybe a lot of felt unprepared for it. It's also an opportunity to reset and to come back stronger and I have really been focusing on reading business development. One Book that I really love is called. Ema Three visited and he talks about developing Your Business program and there's kind of seven key components to that the first being really digging into and clarifying your primary aim what that is now maybe slightly different from what it was when you started or several years ago and then when life gets busy and you go through pivots sometimes that primary aim begins to shift and you need to revisit that then. The next step is to determine your strategic objective. The third is to determine your organizational strategy next thing your management strategy than your people strategy than your marketing strategy and then your system strategy. You might have bits and pieces of this figured out. You may have gone through this process or thought through a lot of these components. When you first started or your two ago I think it's a great opportunity to revisit that to strengthen some things to make an adjustment where adjustments to be made. I also think it's a really great time to get super clear on your numbers. One of the reasons we panic when things go wrong or when they don't go according to plan is because sometimes we can feel a little bit unclear it when it comes to things like our finances and our projections because again when we're so into what we're doing and we're serving our clients and as long as we're making revenue. Everything seems to be good as long as we can pay our bills. Keep our lights on. It could be easy to get caught in that like hustle mentality to where we don't really sit down and do the hard things. I was just talking to a lawyer friend of mine which she pointed out how her business booming right now because so many people who have kind of put off some of the legal things that are boring and not as exciting as getting clients and marketing on Instagram. And all the things that we hear about she kind of referred to as the dentist a fact and she said a lot of times people don't want to go to the dentist until they have to go to the dentist and in some ways a lot of business owners are experiencing that right now like they don't want to have to do the boring legal stuck at their house in order if you will until they kind of have to and so if anything look at this as an opportunity to get your house in order to really clarify some of these things or revisit some of the goals that you had set before to clarify your projections what you actually need financially when you know what you truly need and where. You're really going less likely that you'll panic if things are uncertain are things. Don't go according to plan when you can get clear picture on your finances. You can make the necessary adjustments and decisions to continue to sustain at least for the most part so yeah just really take this time to work on your business even though it would probably feel better financially and what not to be working in it. This is really an opportunity in your business is going to come back so so much stronger if you choose to take advantage of it in this way Low It's Rachel Luna Aka girl confident on Instagram. We're in right now and it's really letting me reflect back to other times in my life where we had massive massive setbacks and the blessings in those and I know that sounds funny to hear in times of crisis but I can remember very clearly like it was yesterday. What was going on When nine eleven happened also I lived in Reston Virginia area years ago when we had the sniper attacks and we were put on house arrest and life changes we knew it and then back in two thousand eight two thousand nine when the stock market and the housing market crash and just everybody was in massive financial breakdown. What I know for sure what I have seen firsthand witness in my own life and witness with so many others is that when there is massive failure step back crisis that innovation creativity new brilliance is always born out of it hard times never last but they always always create innovation creativity and massive shifts with people. Some of the biggest success stories. I know of came out of hard times. My recommendation for what's going on right now is one surrender to it instead of trying to fight it and being uncomfortable with the change. Look at what the opportunity is right now. The opportunity to create space the opportunity to think the opportunity to go within the opportunity to really take some time for you to get back to your roots and really do some deep thinking on where you could serve where your gifts are where your creativity can shine. Think that first and then looking at where you could potentially pivot in your business or with your life. The question always to ask is what is a problem that people are facing right now that I have gifts awareness and solutions. They could really hope that problem. It's not about being original and it's not about being better than somebody else's idea but it's about coming together and really thinking where can I actually add value? So that question again is what is a problem that people are facing? And what can I offer as a solution to that problem with my gifts? My skills my creativity if you approach things from that direction and create a win win. It's all about goodwill some of us. We meet times like this. We get a little bit stress. We think we gotta sell but right now. All of that kind of stuff is all the stuff that I'm giving right now and so to me that's really what it's right now is goodwill and then of course there's always going to translate into better business later and so that's the primary thing I'm doing and then to other tips is to me. It's there's certain people right that this is a time of possibilities as well as fear and so in marketing. Yes sure you WANNA tap into some of the fear base aspects for example. If you're dealing with trainers and people who are coaches those individuals want to kind of be like. Hey listen you've missed the boat and you might WanNa get an online space and then other people who are the lay public. I'm kind of speaking to look. Did now's your time to focus on health and fitness so the marketing aspect. There's a little bit different but I hope that's helpful. That's what I'm doing friends. It's your girl. We're spending less time out in the world socializing which inevitably means we have more spare time in the house to do whatever we want to explore other things right so I've three pieces of advice for you during this time. The first is to use this time to connect inwards and get clear on what you really want this time to be about. So for example I'm gearing up for a big launch in. I'm a very visual person. And so seeing it on the left hand side of evernote with all my projects and goals. There it's just so rewarding it has feeling even more confident that this will be my best launch yet. The second piece of advice is to let yourself play and explore something new. Ask yourself what opportunities are showing up for you right now so for me personally. I decided to challenge myself to show up on talk every day. For thirty days specifically creating content for my niche giving advice on how to build your audience online and guess what guys I grew my talk followers to two thousand people in only seven days so you never know what can come from committing to a fun project like this plus. I love that. Not only do I get to be creative with this. But it's also good for business. And then thirdly I'm encouraging you to connect compassionately with yourself and the world. Obviously it's a sensitive time for everyone but I want you to ask yourself. What can you do during this time to offer? Someone supports so for me. I decided that I was going to offer free. Weekly Corona virus support calls. And they've been going really well and I'm about to give a massive shout out on my email list which has like forty thousand people telling everyone to go and help a business that has been really negatively affected by the pandemic. So simply ask yourself. What can you do to help and support Ngo tribe you guys? It's Laurie harder. My handle is at Laurie harder. And I'm so excited to be doing this because I think times like these are some of the most important times in our lives there the Times that make us assess what we really want. What have we been tolerating that we don't want and what do we want to focus on every single day with this valuable time that we've been gifted so one of the things that I think everybody could be. Focusing on right now is adding value to their audience and acquiring even more audience because when the time comes to make an offer or maybe you have an amazing offer right now. You want your people to know what's coming be raving fans and be craving it from you and view you as the expert and remember that visibility is everything if you are not visible every single day for them and adding value in some way then you're essentially in visible so be visible every day otherwise technically you're invisible because you're just not showing up for them in the algorithm or in life and one of the questions that I'm asking myself every day is what's the story. I'm going to tell from this time. Is it going to be a story of victory? Did I move forward productive? Did I connect deeper with my current tribe and friends or did I let fear completely consumed me in takeover and paralyze me every day? You guys routine is everything you woke up and worked out in the morning before all of this happened. Keep Waking Up and working out in the morning. Drink your water. Eat your healthy food. Connect with French just via zoom. If you went out every Friday night put together. Resume Party with all of your girlfriends. Keep normalcy in your life. Routine is everything and I promise. If you're connecting in your tribe and adding value this can be very powerful time in your life that you will look back on as that time that launched all those big ideas and big things for you and got clear on what it was that you wanted to do. Well my answer may seem strange. My answer is nothing but by nothing. I don't really mean nothing. One truth that we know right now in a time of massive uncertainty is that there's massive uncertainty. We just don't know what's going to be next. We don't know what the economy's going to be like we don't know what the consumer is going to be like so we can do our best to predict and prepare for that but not at this moment right now right now. We're in the beginning and right now we as individuals are being asked to go within before we look outside of us and try to go figure out what we're supposed to do and as entrepreneurs and as business owners your business is often a reflection of where you are internally so I would highly highly highly suggest using this time to do internal work to really look at our where my blocks where my fears that have been coming up. What are some things that happened to me in childhood that I haven't dealt with where some old relationships I haven't let go of? Where do I still have scarcely? Where was I running my business in a way that wasn't sustainable? So instead of just trying to put a band aid on that and think about what's next go in I now. I'm not saying that shouldn't think about your business. You may be saying. Oh Christina silly advice because I have to pay the bills and make money but again that's coming for more of a scarcity mentality if you really invest in yourself invested time energy and maybe even money in your inner work and get more clear about how you can show up in a way that serves people better and is more prosperous for you. I promise your business will be different but trying to figure that out. In a time where there's mass uncertainty is like trying to speak a new language overnight. It's just impossible so my advice is just pause for a moment. Look within trust that the answers will come and you'll know what to do and you will be better at Your Business and you will come up with even better ideas if you take a little retreat deal with some of that stuff you haven't wanted to deal with and then look forward. Sometimes we gotta look behind us to move ahead. And that's the big lesson that this time is teaching us. We're seeing a lot of systems collapse. Received how reliant. We are on certain things. And what it really means is to kind of remove from the picture and really recognize the fact that you are a conduit and a vessel for service to be transmuted through you and your body to other people and what this really means is making sure that your first and foremost taking care of yourself you are honoring your body's needs you are honoring what you were going through your struggling with. But you're also recognizing that you have power you have influence your story matters right and it's almost this energy that comes up from inside of you and says. Oh yeah I know exactly what to do. Saying how can I support you fully detaching from the outcome of making it about you and make it actually about your level of service and with that will do is it will create a sense of trust with you and your audience. What what is the right move right now? What would be sensitive what would be ethical. And at the end of the day the the body needs blood to flow or else. If there's no blood flowing in a body the body won't work. It's the same thing with money. The money has to keep flowing so truly the best thing everyone can do is to have the courage to be in business so that we can spend money in the economy so that we can hire people and my friend. Susie said it to me so well Susan more she said Cath you either have the courage to sell or you work for someone. Who has the courage to sell? But if you WANNA work if you WANNA make money you're either going to have the courage to sell which really means to serve or you're going to work for someone else. Who has the courage to sell? Who has the courage to show up in serve and one thing I want people to understand? Is that while the parts of the economy that are completely collapsing right now. There's other parts of economy that are really soaring. I just read an article in CNBC. That was saying how has borough is seeing a spike in their sales. People are buying Jigsaw Puzzles. Monopoly Games people are seeing this. There's a spike in crafting. Stuff people are buying stitching sets and people are subscribing to online classes and people are being more productive and using their time connecting with people over zoom so. I think it's really important that if we're going to see what's here that we see everything that's here. There are people who are absolutely devastated from this economically and then there are people who would normally right now be spending money going to events and concerts and traveling for spring spring break and right now instead. They're looking for other ways to spend that money to entertain their kids at home to pick up a new skill or craft to start to start enrolling in some online courses. And so that is definitely here and so to turn a blind eye to. That isn't really going to help anyone. That's certainly not going to help us. And I do feel like what we're being called upon right now to look at is what is really essential and some businesses won't survive. They're going to have to pivot their model. Maybe we're being asked to find out what's really in alignment with who we are. Maybe there's an opportunity to figure out. What do we really have to give to the world? That really feels like it's truly who we are. It's really sharing. What's essentially what we're supposed to be sharing with the world. And what is really laced with that empathy for ourselves and for our customer what businesses will sustain themselves. And last it's going to be about relief figuring out how to pivot right now. Show up an answer. Those pain points and really be clear that you're here and and leaders will emerge and we need people who have the courage right now so I would say do whatever you can take care of yourself cry when you need to scream into a pillow when you need to have a glass of Rosa when you need to take a bath when you need to Sometimes you can watch some reality. Tv I finished. All of love is blind. And that did me some good and at the same time there might be a moment where there's a little crack in the clouds and you can start to think about how to raise your hand and give yourself permission to have courage to serve. So I'm finding more and more, like podcasts are the best way to catch up with friends. So, I feel like I haven't seen you in a while anyway. So where they are. I feel like they're therapy to sometimes. Oh, they're major therapy for me like whenever I'm like feeling disconnected or just like ooh. What should I be doing in life right now? Unlike who's fi- talk to who should I? I'm not like a free session so I would love to. 'cause you just came out with a new book, and I know that I feel like I've been kind of like on the journey with you a writing your lab that we were like writing or putting stuff out at the same time or around the same time, and I would love to hear just because I think everybody is, you know, who listens to our podcast are people who want to doing something in the world. They wanna be have a side hustle. They wanna write a book. They wanna be doing, you know, something that they're feeling called to. So I know that for your last week you were like, wow. This was a massive undertaking, when we were done writing. I don't know if this is the modality that I wanted to do this, you wrote another book, I will tell me about the journey like what tell me about the first experience and then how you like transformed. I'm sure you did with the second experience like holy I love dot question. And you it's just remember as you're asking me that you were literally like with me on my books. Remember you went. New Orleans, totally though, because you had not done, yours, yet you were in the starts of it. And yet, that's right. You were right, Mateka it. So, so writing a book is, is super powerful whether you're doing it through a publisher on your own. I think it's I think everybody has something in them to get out. I think everybody has a voice it should be heard. And I think it's a great avenue to write a book now, the intentions behind it or what I always ask people now like what was the most I want to write a book? I it's like what's your intention, because us to share with the world, something that you're seeing learning that you've mastered, I think it's amazing? And you can look at how you wanna do it self publish or published. I will share just full transparency. My first book even though I completely believed in what I was writing about what I was sharing the message what I did wrong is I was super focused on my ego. Meaning I was writing the first book for an agenda, like I wanted to hit New York Times, I wanted to be a bestseller, like I literally was so focused on that. That I was not being present to who I was helping, and what was happening with the book and I, I own that now and I see that and the reason initially, I didn't want to write another book was the stress around that like you because it's such a subjective bang. When you're when you're writing a book for an ego reason, so, you know, whenever our egos takeover. I feel like the universe has a way of checking us. And that's exactly what happened to me. So I'm in a different space with this fuck. I can I already feel that and can tell that? And here's the craziest part, though. Is that those moments where you know looking backwards in you're like, oh my God. It's a humbling moment. When you're like, wow, I had the wrong intention or wrote it for the wrong, whatever, whatever it is because. Yeah, all been there before. But don't you feel like a lot of times, even being able to like you wanna be able to tell people? But don't you feel like that was such an important part of your journey to, like, what did you learn from that? Why, why was that necessary for your journey? You know, because it I think, ego comes up a lot and here, I had my very first book with seven day, jobs start, and I had originally written the first version of it, you know, years ago when I was going through my own struggles, and I wrote it originally as a self publish e Bach and it did fantastic at help, so many people it was awesome. But I wanted to reach more people, but I also wanted to be a bestselling author, so there is a struggle there, because I could have reached more people without publishing, you know. But I wanted to be a bestselling author, you know, looking back on why I wanted that. That's an ego thing. I think a lot of times, it's an ego thing. So, so I did that. And what I learned through that which was really hard for me. And my gosh, I've talked to so many friends that have been in the same journey as that. I was really stuck on New York Times like that was a big thing for me. And I remember my publisher even was like all you're talking about, is New York Times with this book, like, what if you don't hit it, and it was like to me? I was like, of course I'm gonna hit bad. Like I, I had a vision up with pitcher of the cover, and I'll never forget that first week I. Old so many books. I did everything in my power to sell books. And when it did not hit New York Times, I literally wanted to die. I was like I was. So I couldn't believe how bombed-out I and I went into this like depression around it, and it took my husband and I remember talking to you in. Chris about it at the time when it was happening. I remember and a lot of people reached out smae because they had some people have been there. And my husband came in to talk to me. And he's like, you know, your super depressed about this philosophy days. But let me just show you the reviews you have on your book, like how many will you've actually helped? And when I saw that, and I did blip switch then, and it was like, oh my gosh, yes. That's why I wrote this. It was the help more people, and that's where the focus always should have been. And I got in my head around it. So my calling for writing books, and sharing information didn't go away, but I changed my motive agenda with it. Oh I so feel that I mean I had the same exact thing the same vision. I had the same desire. I, I don't know if it was, you know. Looking I, I could I could write a book on. Why felt I needed? Yeah. But that's what I want to talk about for people is, is number one, not being ashamed of that initial carrot, but, like how you transformed it in how you got out of that through looking at okay, what's the actual thing is gonna pull me through, but can you speak a little bit more into 'cause here's what I want people to realize also not be ashamed of his that we all desire, that Bella Dacian, but that you thought you were going to, like, when you pictured wet New York Times was going to do for you. What was the feeling that you were hoping it was going to give her? What were you finally going to feel are, what why like what for? Yes. So I don't know that I have a full answer for it other than I've done a lot of reflection around it because whenever ego comes up in my life. Like really comes up. There's usually a setback that follows on, then I learn. And I think it a lot of a lot of people do struggle with it, and it goes back to like a childhood thing. I'm sure like I it's a it's a sense of fitting in being valid being value. Validated. You know, having people believe, in you, and sometimes, if you're in that pattern of that, which, I definitely, I'm guilty of many times when it's not working in your favor. It's like you've put your whole identity in that validation to me. That's what was coming up for me. And I and really that set me on a whole spiral, personal development that was the start of, really looking at personal development because that I realized I was a problem like I can't live my life, based on someone else's credential or approval of may, you know, and just because New York Times, does or doesn't make me a bestselling author doesn't mean my my ideas and my program. My work doesn't help a lot of people. So it was unattached to that, and really coming from place of service versus ego. Oh my God. I so I had to do so much work around that because I was like, what is this? That has made me feel like if I do not get I can I can honestly tell you it was really like I wanted to be accepted by certain peer group for. Sure, like, maybe I'll be validated enough to finally hang out with you. And you you'll see me and that which is so funny, because even with that, like the book even more that I written about tribe by like, oh, we need to make our own. If we need to just. Authentically create our own people that we feel so good. You went on, like a massive personal development journey over the past dead had been a year, two years. Yes. Two years, two and a half years. Really? But I'm not whole journey and it's been very eye opening for Mana. And you know, once you have a pattern of something you're gonna fight it in your life by audience awareness around. It is what makes a difference. So what happens is instead of falling down the rabbit hole of a pattern you start being aware of it, and this is what's coming up and let me, let me shift that. So when I had the opportunity to write aging anniversary, I'll talk about with that came from really. But when I had that for tuning it, never even entered my head that I'm doing it for a bestselling book. It really felt that I had stopped, I wanna share a Wanda poured out and the best way to do that. Within this next book man getting it out there. And I've been on a mission getting out there, but it's my mission of getting it out. There is very different than my first time around by book. So in your mission of getting this message out there, which I just feel like is. Is like you as I thought you were frigging amazing before. But now I'm like, oh my God, there's like a whole other it's like a whole other layer revealed it, so do you write about that? Did you write about respective shift of all of that? So what's the main? What do you feel like is a main theme in this book? I know that you talk about. Yeah. I know there's so many things that I'm going to say right now. But I'll tell you the first and foremost, fancier question the main theme in the book is changing your state because what whether it's fat loss business, your health money, financial whatever relationship your mindset, your state has is critical that has to be I because it we've all become who we are right now today, based on a series of parts and actions. So we don't shift those than we keep getting what we've always got a huge theme that came up in my book is about changing your state, and I really take people through that, like, how to do that. Now, you know, what's really funny is when I wrote my first Faulk I was in this place where I literally felt like I didn't love. Around people, I thought I was such an introvert until you this Lori. I was like, I'm an introvert. I don't I like small conversations. I don't want groups, and I remember having a shift through my personal development, work and rising. No, I actually really liked connection. And I really like people on. I like next thing, thriving and talking to people, and I remember texting you Wedneday and saying, okay, I thought I was inner, but this is wild. I actually am not. I, I like people and it's interesting because my business has even shifted taking that back on, like, where I used to be all behind video or writing. I'm burying aged in small groups in like being on zooms or you know, teaching being on more lives. Like I like talking to people now I do that more than talking at them. What do you think that shift was was at a perspective of 'cause I so relate so deeply with that you have no idea. Like I think for of me the mental shift was doing them differently. I used to be like, oh, when I'm around people, they take my energy or. But I wasn't being responsible with my our showing up. So what was the shift for you? The famous you with that in and I really learning about what I call performer syndrome. I don't even know if that's a real thing. But like I felt like I always had to be on and we don't have to win. You're in the company of the right people. You don't have to always be on. You can just be listening and be presence. That he might really strong. Yeah. Yeah. And I think I made that up, I don't know maybe someone else's coined that. But, but that's what really has landed for me that, that I felt the need that I always had to be like, on or solving or fixing are helping or like that does drain your energy. But if I'm just there in present and listening. That's great. I can do that, too. I could just be. I literally just talked about this, this weekend, where because I didn't exercise where it was like that, where it was like you, you actually have to just listen to someone without coaching them. And people were so uncomfortable. All the fixtures in the room were one comfortable because they were like, in my valuable, if I'm not adding value eight. Oh, yeah. Nap. Yeah. Did you still find yourself to be what was the transition of realizing you were still valuable, even if you weren't in coach Mohd? Well, I mean, it took it took a while to getting a lot of honest feedback from people and going into workshops and go going having the personal development and asking for honest feedback because I felt like I was living this life where people were telling me what they thought I wanted to hear. I wasn't getting honest feedback anymore. I needed to know how I was actually showing up and I needed to relate that to my results. And when I would just able to take it on it wasn't comfortable, but I had some massive shifts around it because I was open to the feedback through so many of us, we don't want to hear it. We're like oh, they're just a hater or they don't like it. But we have to listen to that. Because if you're not listening to it, you don't know how you're showing up people. Oh man. So for people who may be aren't, you know, in a personal development training or they're not going through it. What would you recommend to them to get that feedback? And how do you prepare yourself for it because it's like the fear around to be said gosh, that's. The big question I mean, I guess, for starters, you, you, you don't have to take a personal development workshop but you can read books on it. Like that's or listen to podcasts on it, but start with like looking at you. So I always said to people it's nobody else's fault the accountable, but here I wasn't being accountable. I was like hiding in this thing. So to part of being accountable is being aware of how you're showing up and if you don't ever want to hear it. That's not exactly being accountable, that's just trying to perfect and trying to make everything fits your bubble. And that doesn't work either. So I'm not saying you have to go for yourselves to the wolves and be torn down and be a mess. But you do have to listen to end look at higher showing how if you want to change. Now, if you if you have no desire to change in your head, then more power to you, my life things were not working in my life. I had to look at this. So I, I was open to it, and I started making that really a policy in my life. Tow my friends like an open door to give me actual feedback. It's so funny. We don't even do it with our gar closest friends in. That's so awkward to me, like, like. Laura, like just thinking about somebody at your friend with the food in their teeth. Like, why what is it about us that we don't want to tell them like that's not okay? Like I want you to tell me. So just being real with your friends and saying, hey, I want honest feedback asking for feedback from your clients. Your customers not hiding around it like really diving into it. Oh man. I have one group of friends that we do this in the only way that we can do it is by, like all agreeing that we all want the feedback, like. Yeah. Okay. Can we all agree that this is something that will do for each other? And you know, it's, it's, it's a, it's a hard conversation to even bring up like, yes, you have to find those trustworthy, people who are also doing the work or sometimes you can be kind of like a, you know, you could be like a target for somebody who's not necessarily doing the work. You know, it's really funny. I went through this little phase while I was going through a lot of my work where I, I went, I got very sad about it. And I thought, gosh, now my business really isn't working. And I used to just think I was amazing and like, little ad this war thing. Like I think I was amazing. But now I let feedback in, and now I'm self second guessing myself, so I'm not competent. So. I went through a mini phase of bats for sure. But it was on the other side of that's credible. And the key to that is talk about it with people. So, like, I, I went to my coaches I talked, I said, this is what's coming up for me. And I worked through it versus avoiding it because this will avoid it block everyone out of your life. It doesn't see your way or love you. Or think you're amazing. That's so fake and be not gonna get anywhere. And then you don't relationships that. Oh my God. It's, it's one of the most empowering things and also one of the scariest things but I think just like you said, the reason we don't wanna tell our friends, they have something in their teeth is because it's an initial pain, right? It's like yet initial wave but then it goes away, like the awkward moment is gone, you forget other yet been but it's that initial wave of like how bad is this going to hurt? So how do you cope with the moment of how about is going to hurt? Will you have to detach yourself and ask yourself why it's hurting so much because usually some of the pinion, it's just an experienced view. It's not necessarily the fact it's their experience with you. But, like if you know of twenty people are saying my experienced view is this. I need. Look at that like, because that's how showing up. So whether I believe it or not. That's what's showing up. So there's so many things that I could chat with you about about. You know what's come up for you over around the book, but one of the things that I want to ask you about because you're, you're a huge mentor for me in this area in. I literally never like I don't see age when I looked at you ever. And I know it's so crazy how fast time goes, I mean a, a thirty eight right now, in it's, it's really bizarre. Because this year in part of last year, I've become aware that. Oh, I'm in my late thirty night. And I'm trying not to have this conversation in my head. So I would love to have it with Mr. point out celebrating getting older. I wanna be a mentor for other women because I don't know if you remember, I, of course, I know you've done this before you're a woman. But, you know, when you're younger, and you're in your twenties, and you have an age in your mind of where like life, kind of ours, or stops being good, or you stop like you know, having that use or having whatever that is like, how do we dissolve that? How do we start remind that our value? So it's so fun elevate you asked that because I would when people say, what do you do? I say I'd kill fat for a living, but I don't mean just the fat on your body's. I mean, what I call false assume truce on those beliefs that have been holding us back like it's you're too old. It's too late. Or it's not possible, all those like false beliefs. So with age, this is a really big important. Why because there's sort of three phases of our lives that I look at phase one is like your child in anything's possible. Like I love the how children are presence. They believe they can be a superhero. They're going to be a Princess, like there's no sense of failure. Their confidence they're running on the beach. They're not covering up there. But because they're worried someone sned take think about it or take a picture of it or whatever, like they're just free. And then there's this stage of, like I would call like hustle mode like you're getting through school. You're get through your job. You're working, you're doing you're doing all these things. And you think you have all this time, and then all of a sudden, you're in your forties, or your fifties, and you're like, oh my gosh. Now, why am I the boat? Is it too late, and my too old? And what what's really challenging is society, really validates that like you don't see older, you see younger us. Everything's about younger and people start believing that has to be this way. And then you have doctors telling you, well, it's your age. So it's like this whole combined thing. So. I ha you have to literally like mind mess with it and say, I'm not taking that on. I'm not going to believe that I don't just because I'm this age doesn't mean I can't this like anything is still possible for you. If you believe it, you look at the four minute mile like that was proven to be impossible like no one can ever on the format mile until someone did it. And then someone did it and ten more people did it. So anything is going to be possible, once you believe it, but this thing around age is a real thing, and there's too much validation going around about your cue, old bits too late. And I'm on a mission. My vision is to really change the way about looks because when someone is shocked about my age if they're like, oh, you're forty-seven. Wow. I would have never guessed to me. I'm like this is supposed to look like this before seven right? What, what in you, did you have somebody that you looked to for that? Or was it something? Let me tell you because I being from the midwest like you go back there in the definition of age. Is completely different than California totally. My whole world is flipped on its head living out here because I remember going to the Santa Monica. Stairs in. There's like a eight year old woman doing the stairs like way like doing more stairs, than I would ever even think of doing that day, right? Wait a minute. And this is just what she's known in what she's done in Shida accept anything else in. It's like this is what Chris, and I see every day is these people in their seventies eighties, like fricken working out everywhere. So totally what do you do to if you are in the mid Ulster, you're not seeing around you like where what do we do? Yeah. The you have to look for and find success always leaves crew. Clues with us now. You asked me like did someone inspire this from eight the first and foremost? I remember when I first moved to California gosh, I don't know was fifteen sixteen years ago, I met a friend. Her name was rod Rufin. We called a rod, and I was I don't I didn't even know her exact age, I think she's probably twenty years older than me, but I remember she was hanging out with all of us surf on. On amazing beautiful, like just just an incredible energy and physically. Yes, they're attractive. But beautiful more because of her personality like it made her want to be around and literally think of age when you're with her, like she was just that. And I always like looked up to that. I'm like, that's what I want like I like that. She's age less, and it doesn't matter. I knew them like that's what I wanted for my life. And then I just, you know, I do feel lucky unfortunate living in southern California because I do have a lot of friends that look amazing in their forties and fifties. There's a lot of and I know that that's not the rest of the country. And that's a big reason I wanted to write this book, because I'm like you know what? They're simple things that we all do. That's keeping that going. We don't validate that were too old knits, too late ever, or doing the opposite or like Hugo. You do it, you can do it. And we're helping each other with that. And that's what I wanted to be contagious for everybody else. Oh man. Okay. So I'm gonna I'm gonna drop into my own therapy session with us. So I know that if I'm experiencing it someone else's. So I recently in my head have been like I like obsessed with clothes, and I love my e-e-e-e-no makeup in my hair jen's or whatever. So I'm like, I the other day was like am I too old for this outfit, too young for me? I was like where is this coming from? Oh, I did not like that. Yeah. No, you and says, it's always like says to says, you know, it's funny because I've all twelve and she's made a couple of comments like, Ma U s not. And then what's funny as I went to balance here at her, her play that she's in an all girls backstage, like, oh, your mom, so she hip and cute. And they were giving me compliments to her. So then all of a sudden, she's like my mom is coal, just finding like kids. We'll do that, right. It really does go to south who says you why can't you have long hair and eyelashes and whatever else? And the thing with aging reverse. It's not just about the physical appearance. I want to be clear about that. Like I don't I'm not attache of someone wants hair extensions are both talks. Like that's each zone. I don't care about, I personally will never be fully great. It's not going to happen. It's like I'm going to have my hair will be colored today. I'd I like that's just what happening. That's not what this is necessarily about it. There's a lot more to aging in reverse. It's not just physical appearance. It's the way that your body functions. It's mean it's the way you feel it's inflammation. It's your attitude. It's your focus, you know, a big complaint of women in their forties. And fifties is loss of focus and energy. And there's, there's a reason for that. Let's get that back. Levada extra confidence in Beck's your drive, it affects your life. Where what do you think the, the focus and energy is coming from? What why is that lacking purpose driven? What is that there's a lot, but first and foremost, its purpose and vision, you when you have purpose and vision, you're on fire. So when you you have a reason, and what happens in, in this middle age a lot of women either. They didn't have kids, and now the regretting it or they had them in their kids are grown. So there's like this weird spot of like, wow time speeding up, but now their parents are getting sick or dying, or there's this, like weird spot of that. And now they've to they've got back going on, and they've got more stress and now they're inflamed. And they've got soon as a whole bunch of stuff happening. They start feeling depressed. They start they start losing like what am I here for, like, what am I doing? If I you know, is my job the permanent thing, the all these starts thoughts are coming through. So getting re engaged with what's my purpose and vision? Like what do I want that gets you excited again, man? It's so important because when we do look at the beginning of our life. It's like okay in your teenage years, you're excited to graduate or career or you have all of these markers. And all of a sudden you get to the point where you hit the markers, or you haven't hit the markers. Oh my God. Is this going to happen for me? Or what now Ray? So tell me about, you know, you talk so much about changing your state, and I just think that, that is like I mean daily Natalie for me. I'm like, okay, let's start in the morning. Let's just because I wake up and it's like I forget, who I am. What happens when you know how do we win our environment yet does not reflect back the reality that we want, how do we change our state? When our environment still like in a shit hole. I I love that. So first and foremost, you have to decide if to make a decision like this is where I want this is where I'm going, this is what's happening. So it's, it's a firm decision like this is my decision is happening this, the second thing is. You've gotta declare it, you got to start being public about it like, like meaning you're telling your friends, we're not going to bitch, about our age anymore or we're not gonna we're not talking. I don't want to validate the steps to declare it like this is what I'm going after. And then it's creating a vision. So whether you do that, like through a vision board, which I love vision boards. This goes back to my initial transformation. Ten years ago, I made a vision board. That was my step one. Because when you can't when you don't have an environment around you. That is reflecting where you wanna be your brain, your body does not know the difference between your thoughts and what's actually happening. So you don't have it around. You want, like you're not living near an ocean, and you need ocean. If you'll calm, then, by all means put some water noise on in the background and put a big picture of the ocean of product. You'll see you could start getting those, but create something so you can start looking at that, and then you can easily surround yourself with those things even though they're not physically in your environment like pitchers, like music like podcasts. Books the right groups there's you always can find were successfully as clues and you can always surround yourself with those things Mukul we walking round, the growth, ugliest city in the world, but you could put music or podcasts on this going to change your mind about it and have a whole different experience. Are you could sit and look at a tree in a park, and imagine you're anywhere? So your, your mind really is powerful. But changing your state, I is absolutely critical. And most importantly, on changing your state is getting rid of what I call false assume, truce and self-imposed stops. So you have to catch yourself on all these negative things you're telling yourself like I'm too old. It's too late. My metabolism my hormones my genetics. Whatever all of it, you have to stop believing and sang it. So true. It's an easy default. Like when you, you know, if you feel tired, or, we're always looking for, like a reason why we feel this way. Why do we feel this way? It's so easy to blame it. So for you with your with, you know, when you when you have a vision in your mind, or is there anything right now that doesn't feel possible in? How are you trying to make it feel in reach for you? Yeah. Gosh, that's a really good question. I don't feel that anything feels impossible to me. I actually feel the opposite. I feel that anything. I really truly desire, and what is possible the scary part is am I really wanting not and conviction around it. So like, like there's things that I could Francis I could scroll instruments, someone on a private jet, and I could be like I want a private jet, but, like an could I have one, I'm sure I could but the amount of work and stuff, I would need to take on in my life to create that type of environment that I have my own private jet. I I'm not really in a spot that I want that for real like I'd rather just be invited on yours. Laurie when you get one. I make choices like that. Or like do I want to be a size? You know, a ridiculous is tiny or whatever, on my body like, again, do I really want that? If I really do I can go for it, but I have to realize what it's gonna take to do that. So I, I might say, not taking on a vision or something like that, because vision is not Woohoo. It's not like I just want to do this. And it's just gonna come to me. It's like they're all so I'm very selective and careful what I'm saying and declaring that I actually want. But I believe that anything we all desire, what we can make happen if we are truly committed to that. Okay. So question on that one. 'cause I'm in that space right now, a like looking at the work involved in something yet, how do we tell how do you think or what what's coming to you around? When you look at the work involved when is it, are you afraid of the work involved, or am I afraid that I'm not able to take that honor that I'm not smart enough for it. Yeah. And when is it that I'm just south sabotaging myself out of the vision? Like find if it's really our vision when you when you think you really want it, but you're afraid that's a great question. I, I would think my answer to that is. I do a lot of visuals ation. So I do quiet time. Like I have a massage chair, which is the best investment ever, by the way. I like the best thing I've ever bought my life, but I think my massage Sharon, I'll close my eyes. I'll put some music on and I'll literally division like, okay. What? Like take the private jet, for example, whatever, I'll literally like okay, what would my life be like? And I tried to like, fast forward, my life to whatever it is that I want or want to be experiencing, and I think through like, do I really want to take that on, for instance with my business? I've made a lot of different decisions this year based on lifestyle versus like creating income, so I can think, like I want my business. He gets to a certain number. But when I really visualize what I'm doing how I'm spending my time when it gets there. I choose not to take that on his. I know I think like what is it? That I'm creating a business for what is it that I'm an entrepreneur for it's for the lifestyle that I want. So if I can live that lifestyle and not have to take that stuff on I'd rather do that. So it's really just putting yourself in that moment of what it is. And then deciding if that's worth it, and everybody has to answer that individually. Oh, man, it's so funny how we can like. Literally, no, these things. But you don't know it if you're not doing it. You don't truly understand it. If you're not doing. Yes. And for me it's funny because I did that with my fitness business in, like really looked at do. I really wanna be like a true fitness like, whatever in and I was like, actually, I don't wanna be working out every day, you know, I, I actually don't want to be doing that. And that was an I only got to that place because I visualized my life. And now you just reminded me. No. You have to do the work sitting down every day in visualizing, what that would actually look like. Yeah. Like, yes. And I am just like the fitnesses exactly example because both of us brands on fitness. Yeah. And so it's not that I have abandoned fitness, but I made some really hard decisions this year. Like I decided that I'm not creating any more of my own fitness programs that doesn't mean I can't do fitness. I can were I made a I did a great DVD for prevention this year. I doing a up for an app company. I'm I still do fitness, but I do it selectively, now as fun for somebody else, or four another company and that way, I don't have the pressure that is. I have to be creating all the time. So either isn't there is both. An and there's a win win. You can always create, but saying yes, to everything that would work for me. So tell me about the pivots because obviously people who listen to these podcasts is probably because they are in a pivot or thereabouts pivoted. Yeah. And you mentioned that it's scary, especially when your identity is wrapped up, as you know, I, I mean, when I first met, you, you were you were the fitness clean. Yeah. It's what did that look like enough detaching from? Yes, you're still fitness that this is gonna be. Well, what it looks like is not having to be so black white, you know, cutting everything off, like there's a gray there's a gray. So, like I didn't go from like, I'm all fitness to, like, there's no fitness like that would show like all of a sudden, all my fitness videos, and I'm like, okay, now I'm talking about, you know, being being an entrepreneur, like whatever I'm just saying, that's, it doesn't work, so it's still part of your life. So you tell a story you make it all tied together. Like for me. I'm just I meet people where I'm at and where they're at. So I'm going to share. What's actually happening in my life? So, like fitness is I still have fitness videos, outdoors. I still will work out forever. Like I love fitness. I just didn't want that to be the focus of everything. So it's about introducing new concepts while you're still doing. You're old and letting go of belief, so self-imposed shops, like France. Since like I said, I is dead of creating more of my own fitness products. I'm doing I'm with companies now which allows me to still offer something for my audience, but it doesn't put the pressure on me to always be creating in that space. So I can. Still be a mix of both and I can start evolving. So I would tell anyone that's in that spot. There's a Bose and you could do both like all the time people in corporate may want to start their own business. Do oats like you don't have stop and start like do both until one thing makes more sense. Oh my God. Amen time. Always done it like you kinda start bringing in little things or laying, or in, we're so lucky to live in his Arab social media, that literally tomorrow, you could start talking about what you wanna be doing social intestine. Get back and keep going. It's like we're so blessed I literally love that. You said we'll, there's a gray area like because it does kind of feel that way. It you're gonna feel confused your audience might feel confused. It's a confusing time but it's how you bring in the two right? Like let me tell you I started. I started getting really direct with, like, who I'm trying to attract new, I wanna speak to you. So I started like literally sang on posted this so scary. I'm going to be real because I have an audience of all different ages. I started saying, hey ladies in your forties, and fifties. Now I had that was scary. I'm like, why have twenty year olds and I have thirty year olds and I have an that's great. But here's the thing, there's thirty year olds. So follow me thirty year olds to like my programs. I'm not saying you can't. I'm just going to speak to where I'm at so heated do that. It's okay to speak directly to who you wanna talk to, and others will still follow in, like want to hear your message. But you can't be all things all people. Oh man. I'm taking a course on that right now. That's exactly what I'm start. It's scary. It's scary because you're like wait. I want include everyone and I want to feel good. But then you do that in your, your stuff kind of falls for the, and then the people that you're trying to track don't feel hurt. So like women in their forties and fifties. Feel heard by me because that's what I'm talking to right. Oh my God. So good. So we've mentioned a couple or you've mentioned a couple times about inflammation. And I don't think that people realize how much of some of the things that they're feeling or thinking could actually be coming from. While are feeling. We're eating the wrong foods because, you know, I look at my family and honestly, growing up a lot of a lot of the, the beliefs in the things that were said was, you know, we, we struggle with anxiety, or depression, or we have X Y Z in an what I didn't realize I really, really believe that but it wasn't until I started eating well that I could I felt good I started to hear myself, you know. So tell me, okay. So I'll start with a general analogy. If you walked by a body of water and the body of water is filled with, like, dirt and trash in Mawson machen, gross. And you throw something else in there. You don't even notice what else you throw in there. On each already mess out if you walk by a beautiful body of water. That's pretty it's beautiful. At crystal clear. It's super clean, and throw one piece of trash now I really noticed it really notice it so first and foremost is we treat our bodies like those dirty waters. A lot of times we're throwing all this stuff in there. And then we're wondering why we're foggy headed not yelling. Good. Like we'll die. This is why you're drinking artificial sweetener is you're not. You're pointing at your diet. You're not drinking water. You're taking pills for whatever you're, you know, we're doing all the stuff to our body of them are wondering why we're not feeling great. So, so inflammation is you can it a lot of different ways. But basically inflammation is all defined it as any time your body is not knowing what to do with what's going on in its with reopening. So nationals up on your skin. It shows up near gut health. It shows up in joint pain. It shows up in your foggy headed shows up in memory loss. It shows up in a lot of different areas, stomach aches, all kinds of ways it can show up. So we don't know what's causing things for eating. We have a big. Dirty water on why so my first step with people is, we've really got to clean up your diet, and I really take a whole another level, especially in Asia universe. My first book was called unprocessed your diet. And I talked about on processing is universe. I go whole 'nother level because I'm gonna it's still based on process, natural foods, but I'm taking out any possible allergen because I want to take those out, especially known foods that cause inflammation. So we can even see what's under that all of that. Now a lot of time. Somebody might say, well, I don't I don't wanna give up dairy for instance. I don't want to. I'm like, okay. Well, if that working for you, if, if it's working for them, they don't need to. But if they're feeling all these things, why would you not try to take it out for ten days? What I teach in this program on taken out for ten days. Let's see if we can get you back to a great state and then you can add things, NCI, you feel I know for me, a big reason that I do look what people say is younger than others. And the reason I don't have stomach aches or skin breakouts, or any of that is. I do eat a very anti inflammatory diet. And I you know I had an injury two years ago at my back a really bad injury. And when I eat foods 'cause inflammation that really flares up for me when I don't I feel great. So it's not that I'll never have pizza or whatever I'm human. But I also know what it's gonna do to my body when I have it now, it's like throwing that johnke in a clean body of water. So I'm very aware, and that's where I want people to be as you should be very aware of what you're eating and how it's impacting your focus, your clarity in all of that. I think one of the toughest things for people who might be listening. I think intuitively, we know a lot of the things we put in our mouth. We're like, ooh, my body's kind of telling me, this is not awesome. But we ignore it. I'm super guilty of it. Like I literally even after this weekend. I was like, oh my body's me, I really need to watch. So I knew it too. There's nobody that's perfect with it. No, no one perfect. I think the hard part is like, you know, having a family who still is like, really just not on, on the health page is the, the joy factor, right? There's so many emotions tied to the food that they eat. And I think that they really believe that if you start taking those things away, they can't get to the other side of what it will feel is how, what are we focus on in the interim of, you know, cutting back the drinking or cutting back the sugar like how do we mentally because it's it's like somebody quitting drugs. Yes. I agree with that. And that's why in aging verse I totally start with changing your state I because if I if I can get you to see your vision and not Christ. A third of the book is let's let's figure out, what is that you actually want? What's your hobby, figure out what I call your driving motivator, like what's the thing that's truly holding you back from getting what you want. So if you do that work for us, you're gonna have touch the diet just do that work. I. Get clear on what it is that you want. And then once you're clear on that give me ten days, and it doesn't have to be forever, but give me ten days and tell me how you feel I can't tell you. I put a whole test group through this, and all of them kinda came in kicking and screaming like I don't wanna give up these things, and they none of them back because they feel so good. So. Yes. So and what's cool about this? Laurie. By the way, is it goes with any other program like you could do could do it with Kito? You could do it with IfM. You could do it with whatever you want to do, because it's, it's based on national rail foods, it'll still tie in. Oh, god. That's so huge. Because I just I think about all of the times that I've been motivated to finish anything in its because I spent all the time in the vision. Yeah. That's it like anything and everything. And I look back to even when I was doing a big body transformation when I was younger, and it was like just the picture of the body is not gonna be enough. It never is it never it might work for the first whatever. But what, what happens when maybe that particular vision do have anyone or have you experienced this or her? Of this. I know you've been in the industry for a long time where maybe they're in their vision. They're living vision, but that initial vision is no longer motivating them. How do we like I guess this is even me right now? Like how do I figure out what that next vision is? Yeah. Yeah. It that's important that those do change all the time and might have business changed many times. But it's you have to create that space. And that's the problem. We don't daydream anymore. We don't like there's too much technology. So if you don't create the space, really take a break from technology and go for walk just without your cell phone at, like literally take that space. It's not gonna come to you. So you can't really tap into that when you're just hustle, hustle, hustle. So it is creating space, whatever that looks like it doesn't have to be a big decay shin. It could be literally a walk without your phone for a little while just to, like, look at the trees, but it's in those moments when you can separate from your to do list that you're going to start really getting clear on what it is that you want and. You know, really get focused on, what do you get loss in whereas your flow, where do you feel like you're thriving, where do you lose track of time. And where can you pick up more of that and make that more your vision? So like for me right now. I have different visions with my business with whatever. But I can tell you, my health and my body. I'm very clear on where I wanna be and what I don't want. So to me grabbing a Donut bursts, what I really want for my health, and my long term, they're not that doesn't match. So I'm going to second guess that Donut most time and I might have it, but it's like, but it's true like I really I really look at that I really take that on, like I don't want to be the seventy year old that's you know sick and dying. I you know, I want to do everything in my power to prolong, and be healthy and focus. Now, there's, there's a huge element week can't control. But there's a lot that we can control. So if changing your diet and your food is in a give you extra focus mobile years. Why wouldn't you do it? What do you wish more people asked you about your life? Gas. I wish selfishly I wish for people would ask, how can I support you like it's didn't they and I say that because I don't think we asked on enough of friends and people, and it goes, I like I have I definitely am fortunate to have friends that do your exactly what I've always, like how you increase or like how can I support you which is amazing? And I try to be that for other people, but I wish our thank you. I wish more people would do that because I think it, it would make everybody really feel more like a tribe more feel more like a community when we would support each other and lift them up. And celebrate versus like always taking, you know, I so I wish more people with that. So I don't know if that's what you meant by that question came up for me, and then I would, I would like, more people as far as people that come to me with their nutrition, other fitness questions, I would love instead of them saying what what's the one pillar? What's the one diet or the one, actually, I'd rather them say what's the thought process? I need to change. I would love that. And because that is where we really can make a difference and change your control. So, but coming at me, with, like, what's the one exercise the one supplementary the one, whatever like that doesn't that doesn't work? Oh my gosh. I so resonate with that. And I love love love that. You answer that question with that question. Because I think that, so I think that women have the hardest time with asking for help in inordinate in order to change our state in order to do this. We do, I think we need help like we a lot of times if we want space. We need help like getting space or sometimes you don't even know where to start. And you just say, I need help like I don't even know where to start. Yeah. And sometimes, I mean, I, I will say, I've had so many breakthroughs in clarity, like when I actually talked about problems with highs and I don't mean to talk about a problem to vent. But like really, to look at what am I missing here because we can't solve a problem? But the same thoughts that got us into a problem. Yes, you don't ask somebody or have a friend to ask you really do. Stay stuck in that loop. So I think it's important to. Have a surrounding people that you could like you have somebody who can say, hey, can I bounce off? What's going on in my mind, just to get out of me? Maybe you'll see something I'm missing. So you talk about the right people like really making sure you have the right people in your life. How have you created the right people in your life? And and you know it's not just have to say I think so many people look at someone like you. And you, you had a large following or whatever that looks like maybe they assumed that it's easy for you. But I wanna know I, I know that this is something that you have built like you. Yeah. I'm I'm seriously like I love being a connector. I love getting to know people and I my friends always joke that I'm a connector because I'm, I'm very interested in people. And then I do connect people when I think there's a good match. But what I look for is I always wanted people's stories, and I always want to know more about them, and what their vision is. But I I'm really big on integrity to. So, like, if you I trust people until I don't so it's like someone says they're going to do something, or they're showing up, or they're not like I noticed that stuff. So who do I let my life like anyone's allowed to start in my life? But like you know what? I don't keep people around that prove that they're not that they're not in are not full of integrity or they're not authentic, like I don't like that. So it's just it's a sense. It's a intuition, I guess it's not like necessarily a tit for tat, but I can tell like genuine people and I want more of them in my life. And you know, if someone's listening in like I just don't have anyone in my life like that. Like I said earlier, you can invent that from podcast from books from whatever like. Podcasts like the best thing, aber just like turning on listening to your podcasts like it feels like you're in that conversation with people, it's such a life changing amazing to on their free, which is crazy. Like it's just this feels like you're walking with a friend listening to that. So you can evoke that in, you can have that in, even if you don't physically have those Fresno, life right now. Podcasts were so powerful for me. They were my first tribe for short like adults books in podcasts in coaching, and events and things like that, but it is powerful because you get to hear how we're having this conversation right now. Yes. You, you guys use our questions like all like listen to the language in in. That's been really huge for me is just learning how these conversations even start like how do people ask people to be part of, you know, as a as when we're little kids, we asked people to be our friends like we now. Okay. But just see I'm forty-seven I still do that. I my friend Lori drew member like years ago. I think I literally I sent Laurean Email like four or five years ago. I remember and I was like, hey, we have a lot in common. I think we should be friends, basically. And I was like, oh my. Oh my. I still do that. Like I need someone. I like I'm interested. I'm like, let's be friends. I mean, why did we stop doing that? I don't know. It's the only thing that works. Yeah. Like it's literally, the only thing that works. So there wise we get into that weird space of we build stories. Yeah. And I just I didn't. I'm not feeling weird about it. So I don't think people feel worried about with me. Like if you're making a story about it, it's weird. But it's not weird. Yeah. Am I feel weird at first and you're to get used to it just like anything? Yes. Yeah. Is there something in your life right now that you desire, more of? I desire more space to think, and be free. You know, I question myself daily with that, because I it's very easy for me to get caught up with work and the to do less end saying. Yes, to it's a very easy thing. So I when I find myself like not doing my workout or not going for a walk are not spending time in my husband, or my daughter, because of a work thing, then I I'm like, okay, I a shift this. So I'm desiring more space. And I'm the only way I know how to create that is by controlling more, which is interesting because that's a whole nother topic about letting go troll. But I've had to put some things in place. Like, for example, I no longer book interviews appointments meetings on Fridays period. It doesn't mean I can't work Fridays. I just like having a day that I'm free to do whatever, like my something pops up. I wanna do it. I can do it. I also for the most part stopped booking interviews appointments meetings before ten or eleven AM, just so I like I, I had to like. Control my schedule. Now I catch myself wanting to squeeze something in and it's not perfect, but by putting control things in place. It does help me stay focused on the space. I wanted to create oh my God. That's so important in so tangible so can just being able to do that. So I could talk to all day. What, what's something that we haven't shared that maybe one share with people if anything? Gosh, what's something we haven't shared? I don't know. I think we shared a lot. I can't think of anything right now.
