"Sync up without a delay and perform as an ensemble from their homes. But let's give the listeners a little sample of your work. For folks who aren't already fans, and they'll get here an idea of your wide vocal range for our actives, really, and maybe even more expansive range in terms of musical genres. So this is three songs by other artists that You have performed life. Like a five burning beyond control. Wildest, slow, Johnny. Who is John Lewis, please tell me your mind. I will never do nothing for nobody. No time. Okay, I'm gonna go home now and just play your music for the rest of the show. Um, no, I wish I could. So that was While this love by Nat King Cole, the folk ballad Only West and Jim Crow era vaudevillian Bert Williams Signature song, Nobody Little exception. Those three is there a common thread there for you. Um, well, I'm singing them. But other than that, I think I think all three songs surprised me, and that's what attracted me to them. Uh, You know, a song like, Oh, Me. Woz is it's a murder ballad Wildest love is this uh, this song about all the different places that love can take us The wild places, and nobody is this. Really incredible, comic tragic comic masterpiece by the great Bert Williams. It's a song about caricature and stereotype and Identity and lack. The feeling of lack. So, um, so I don't know. I think there's a yearning in all three songs. I really am drawn toe. That feeling of yearning Listeners would play a little more Cecile McLorin Salvant music before we go out in this segment, But I guess to what? You were just saying you don't turn away from the racism and misogyny in our past. You see what you're doing is transformative or more simply trying to make sure we don't forget. I think maybe there's a little bit of both. I have something in me that I really love to share for gotten gems with people whether it's in music film our visual arts. But I do like how it makes us question. I do like how looking at different eras, different cultures sort of make a question our own and how it rubs up again. Our own values and are in our own way of life. I see that you also do visual art. What do you do? I make really big drawings on silk on breuder drawings of all kinds of things, um, on silk organza, so there's kind of large scale textile works. And I do a little bit of animation. I'm actually working on a feature length animated film, which, if we make it will be the first animated feature film directed by a black woman. Wow. On guy. See that on Instagram? That's Shameful that that would be a first at this point, right, isn't it? But I see on instagram that you've offered a line drawing for other people to color in You know what can people go do and participate in Yeah, I really like doing things collaboratively and seeing where people take my drawings and even my songs. I really want to start writing. Songs for other people, too, because so far it's mostly been knee singing my own songs, but there's something really exhilarating about hearing your music or seeing your work in the hands of someone else. Awesome And you do write your own songs as well will point out the medley. We played Woz of of older works Do they range as widely as the genres that you choose from from outside to sing? I think so. I mean, not sure, but I do. I was brought up in a really eclectic household.

So here's the thing like all promos on the same so here's me. I'm going to do a fun thing because I am. I have not seen anything. I'm going to do a Juliet. Monologue from Shakespeare and the style of a Promo please deny father and refused by name or if that wilt not but be sworn my love and now no longer be cap you Beulah like Promo sound like shall I speak of him. That is my husband. Let's go Kavulich. Let's go capulet Montague. Yeah it's a style but it's bad rhythm thing but the red eye program between drew McIntyre. Mvp continued. They drew McIntyre win. Still Nice to see. Mvp back using them to sort of fill time until we can get past the blood money. Show I kind of understand why people listen to this instead of watching it because listening to you. Just explain it to me feels way better than spending all this time. I'm here for you I do love. Mvp I hope he gets to. I don't know how much he's interested. How interested he is in wrestling. But I hope he does get to be somebody's mouthpiece soon. I think he's going to be a producer. He would be very good mouth. I'd be good at him involved in wrestling again. I think he's very underrated. Mind especially like if it was like a sports based cafe because I was sort of his thing for a while. I would like to see in paired up with shortage at I would definitely love to hear the fucking name shortage e I done. It is the worst thing that ever happened. It's so bad. He's so good at Kyrie Sane Beaten Italia and I bet you that was a solid match. I bet it was yup randy. Orton beat up Matt. Hardy and Seth rollins held a yet. I thought that he was Wtam up again. Okay more beat up. It's going to keep beating at my surprise. Just when you think of all the answers Matt Hardy gets beaten up again. Seth rollins held a sermon leaning into that role. And Angel Garza. And Bobby Lashley beat Umberto and Rousseff. This was actually a lot of fun. Danielle just look a gift. Later on of of Bobby Lashley just he just jumped out from out of nowhere and just kinda needed for poor umberto right in the chest. He sort about five feet before he came down and it was wonderful. I thought it was probably the best use of Bobby Lashley in months. You better than the Keithly Adam Cole. Not Marino another. I would say actually. It wasn't even the best one of the night because the street prophets had a pretty good one when they came out and helped Kevin Owens so it was the second best one of the night. But I'm just GONNA say Bobby Lashley you get an a plus for effort because you're you're finishing move should always be eight. Plus you eat machine. That'd be great t shirt for you to May. I have just a moment to speak to one. Specific performer literally have only seen gifts. You have all the time you need. Cody Rhodes I enjoy your work. Your fantastic on the Mike. You do a great job building a company. I did watch that match but I swear to the Lourdes in heaven. There is a saying that if every day's Christmas think Christmas isn't special anymore. So if in every single match which appear. You're losing a third of the blood. That's been pumping through your body earlier in the day. You need it then. All of a sudden it doesn't become a special near red doesn't mean green anymore not all the time. It feels like you're pulling it out too much and it's disturbing like to the point of like is this guy skin so thin is he like little nicolay. Nicolay cannot run can play are you? Are You HEMOPHILIAC? Is that what's going on here? Well I won't stop. I'm concerned for you to say. Look the arrest and fucking piece but dream was one of those dudes who once we got to high def and you could see what the forehead looked like after all the cuts. Like you can see it like. And that's not even making a joke or being an asshole or being snide like adult butcher to see a devon you can see all of this fucking like you can see it now that we've moved. Hd like that shit sticks. I love the match. And here's the thing. There is One of the things that people are so like the people who are stuck on the attitude era was the best thing. Whatever was that like anything can happen on any show Blah Blah Blah? These things can happen. I agree I think it's great if once in a while you do one of those where match that you would not expect like something that is a pay per view level is on there but like aws still so new. That like you don't have to do that yet. Yeah don't be. Don't become the guy who bleeds all the time. Here's a million other things than that and a million better things than that and that blood very rarely do that fucking thing from the from the fucking top of the cage. You do one or the other for me. You're doing that on free. Tv It's not free but if you're doing that not pay per view you either do the fuck in a weekly told her. Yeah weekly television. You do the fucking cage spot or you the blood. I don't think that you need to do both. I just I don't like it. This isn't me like just because I'm not like a cdw fan or wasn't super in DC. W back in the nineties does not mean that. I don't like I appreciate that when blood is work but it just feels like too much. I'm as cookie. Monster has taught us in recent years. Blood is a sometimes food Blood all remember when we use blood. Exactly 'cause we only use it sparingly. Remember who afterward I remember them. But that's what makes it special man like you don't do it all the time like like. I don't need to see all of it in one show. Young Buck's will be facing Kenny Omega and Adam page for the titles after Kenya Meghan Adam savage retain those tag titles over the brothers At a very good match that ended with Kenny may be in trouble and Adam. Page them a literally pulling back and forth young bucks pulling them just in case. We didn't understand what's been happening the past couple of weeks. Then Adam page goes out of the ring and into the crowd to drink a beer because he's got a problem and he needs people to write him letters and read them to him in a living room. We also had Chris Stat lander the alien who will loop anybody I get it. Totally raft defeating. Shana but the best part of this. Not The best part. A great part of this was Dr Brent Baker on commentary. Oh.

I fell in love with him as soon as I saw them do diy. I'm big fans of both of them. That being said like yeah it gets a little like too many turns or whatever but I I also exte- I give exte- a lot of fucking slack and a lot of God the m leeway. I trust them more than I trust at this point and the other thing on TV to be able to bring a story line to if not a completely like blow my dick off conclusion at least something. That's like okay. I'm satisfied. Is it possible for Johnny Gargano to remain a baby face and just have it out for CIAMPA because that feels like exist in and that will happen no it that will happen and I think that that's an game okay? You have to have full on face. Johnny wrestling versus like I think you have to have that feel like they're building towards that so I don't yeah that's possible we'll see. Of course Gano was probably upset because he lost Fim Baylor in another Banger of match. Daddy oh I'll tell you that match was the cat's pajamas. Well that's why we were all except like this is one of those things where when we talk about like. Hey maybe move this person down. Move this person wherever like thin. Yeah like this is. He is through arriving on an xt right now. And that's exactly where he needs to be. He is building. I mean there are already stars. Obviously because of that but like I feel like he is elevating that division even more than it already was already. Pretty fucking elevated. Yeah and the match was exceptional. Just great storyteller every match at a great story to tell and please please mention they wanNA mention Finn got on top of Johnny Gargano and made him listen to him. Like just basically like talk so much travel. That was so great healer high. Like don't that those belong to my private diary that is in my dream. People pay money for that. Yeah privately don't talk. Don't talk about Finn topping trying to hit away his hands and Vince like swine with like. No you're going to listen to what I have to say. Johnny Lost Johnnie. Yeah it was really really good seeking witch. I'm on Cameo. If you would have booked me off. People Anyway continued the theme of people who hate each other that are fighting to Koci. Abil the table. No salary is not enough Sasha or Alexa table. The legs buckled. The Tha the table did break. It just didn't break in the way we're using. It was like falling into a blunt force. Object it's not pretty and I worry I I WANNA put over something from this match later. Sunday specific I thought it was a fantastic match Raquel Gonzalez looks good. And then we follow up on an x t where they talked about. How the only ones who have each other's backs and there's going to be a steel cage match next week so you we'll tell me all about understanding the follow up to that now where I can. They will meet inside a steel cage in in two weeks time cool. I've got no. I know we had a lot of people. Apparently wearing tights and fight shirts guys. Take more pictures if you're wearing them like Mr only about one and apparently they were dozen. So how about that? Yeah Look you've got to be your hold it up because if I can see a guy wearing a certified G. T. shirt and surely we could see people wear t shirts where where people in the tights and fights t shirts. I don't know somebody's just said that they were in their section and they had a bunch of them there so that was together picture and don't let my lack of wrestling knowledge this week. All right. Tell people what we're going to be doing. We'll take a break in dive into it after the break. Okay. I think it's a subject that that folks might might like at this holiday season when friends get together and family members get together or you think about the time that you spent over the years with with family and friends at holiday time what we're going to be talking about is is really a couple of things stories from our lives. And and I broken it down into into these two related subjects stories that have been passed down to you. Stories you've heard it might be from childhood. It might be as an adult stories from your mother or your father from your grandparents from your from uncle or aunts or odds. However, you say it. Stories that family lower that has been passed along to you during the course of your life. Now, these could be what do you like very small stories, very little kinds of stories. Maybe a funny little story that you heard as a child from from your mother, your father, or a grandparent or they could be very significant storage things. You were told when you were growing up in the sort of family lore kind of realm. Either stories from the family itself war stories about say a relative going off to war. It could be very significant stories are relative coming home from war. They could be stories that mean a great deal to you. And that have stayed with you, the second part is the stories that you have told overtime or the stories that you will tell your fairly sure that you will tell the story. Two other people people you love to your stories that you'll tell your friends. In some instances. They may be the same stories that were passed down to you as a child that you're still telling these stories kind of the the continuation of family history. So on the one hand, we're talking about stories you received either in childhood or adulthood. That might tell us something about your family history. Maybe in a personal way a meaningful way. Can also the stories that. Means something to you that have taken place in your life, and that you passed on to others, or you are sure you will continue to pass onto others Morgan has a wonderful story that he told me about about about his mother that I think he'll be telling soon, but the stories.
