Democrats Assess Where They Went Wrong as a ‘Red Tsunami’ Takes Hold in New York

"The fault line is being exposed, the Democrats are doing an autopsy of why they lost in every possible direction from Edward durr to the Virginia governor's race to the lieutenant governor's race in Virginia. How bad was it actually? Well, I just want to. I want to hear, let's just local news report cut 87. This is in New York, Nassau county. Play cut 87 just so you understand what Democrats are dealing with. Even in New York play tape. The shock resonated from the New York suburbs down the eastern seaboard. People are saying there was a red wave, they're wrong. It was a red tsunami. Republican Bruce blakeman declaring victory in the Nassau executive race considered the biggest upset here since Edmund Ghana when seated Tom swazi in 2009. We had the right message. It was taxes. It was crime. People are fed up with a liberal, progressive policies of the other party. This isn't the party of John F. Kennedy anymore. It's the party of AOC and Bernie Sanders, and they're rejecting that. And Joe Biden, they're rejecting that. I said this yesterday to Connor, and I said this to Andrew, I said, if the Democrats continue with this, and if they are unable to inoculate themselves, and remove the tumor, that is woke ism from their party. It is not out of the conversation that if conservatives do their job, and they don't, they're not run by a bunch of feckless morons, which is so often the case, we could end up winning states like New Jersey and Connecticut. We could win 40 out of 50

"nassau" Discussed on Perspectives on Healthcare

"So one thing that i think is really important is that i work in an outpatient setting almost exclusively occasionally were asked impatient consultation. But that's where and i think. A lot of healthcare has been built for kind of inpatient. High-drama surgically type focused hair and this cognitive and of the business in an outpatient setting where we accumulate information over time where there's a lot of conversation between parents and families. This is a lot of what healthcare is where i think. A lot of the decisions are made them more high-drama and of healthcare. So that's one thing. I really like people to know. Just just yesterday. I was asked a question about mask policy in the hospital for k. You know we. We happen to be living in the kobe. Era and masks are important protection for healthcare workers and for patients and for families so of course there are mask policies so someone said well you know. I have a two old. And she doesn't like to wear mass. I come into your office. So i said i want to look at the nassau quality mask policies and i went to the website and boy. I couldn't find an easy place to find masks policy for ambulatory care a lot about visitation in the hospital. So so that's one thing. Second thing that i think is really important. People have to understand. Is that the nature of pediatric tune. Indeed medicine has really shifted in almost in the course of my career. You you mentioned my birth cohort so you know we have been moving more and more toward the care of chronic concerns. We have been so successful in the treatment and management of acute problems that now a lot of the concerns that bring people into see us. Our long-term their chronic concerns right. So child is born prematurely. There's a lot of drama and then child survives. Most children survived preterm birth. These days exciting. It's wonderful and they have these long term consequences of that that early event that early healthcare crisis and so our systems are also built more effectively to manage acute problems even though we are dealing more and more and more with these long time issues so i really wish that people would be thinking about that and then thinking about the building the systems. That are supportive of this long term relationship between the healthier and the patient her family. I would imagine that people when you're dealing with long term or chronic issues. They want the same type of acute care responses on that so this has been something that's been going on for a while. And they wanna come in as you kind of alluded to they want the immediate diagnosis and treatment. Even though it's been a more chronic condition is that are you finding that. There's that like sometimes. There's a sense of urgency that the family feels that that i may not feel again..

"Of the nassau really good and then the final piece of the puzzle that nobody thinks about is. Everything's organic farming. Is that grit is just wonderful. But don't forget. The most organic farms depend on manure from livestock operation. So before you crap all over the cows remember that your organic tomato or whatever you're eating has probably been fertilized by manure from livestock police to cow you're all integrated you can't no you eliminate the livestock eliminate the source of the manure. Where does your organic farms get manure from. Nobody thinks about that but again science science simply implemented at farm level to do things like trapping of the gases from your makes total sense and then at the end of the day you have energy out of an energy source you have reduction of greenhouse gases and at the end of the day. You still have a fertilizer that can be used. Okay so i said that was the final. But i have one more now that you brought it up again. The old carbon versus new carbon explain. How a cow does not create any carbon. All right so you have to understand half life. So c h four methane is a half life in the atmosphere of ten years that means after ten years half this broken down whereas carbon dioxide has a half life in the atmosphere of one hundred years so the way this works with a cow. Is this plants utilized photosynthesis. We talked about that to produce a grass. The grass is cellulose in hemicellulose. It has carbon in the grass from the carbon dioxide from the air. Where did the carbon dioxide come from for the grass it came from the air macau each the grass. The cow burps out. C h four which has higher greenhouse effect than carbon dioxide however however is got a half life of ten years and it converts back into what co two so did the kalmyk more co two. The answer is no the cow did not make any more. Co two the only way that you can have more. Greenhouse gases generated from cattle. As if you have more cattle and the peak of the north american cattle herd. One thousand nine hundred seventy one. So we're doing more with science to have more melt produce more beef produced more efficiently and again this is this is old carbon so when.

"To see to new york for the report. Police controversial bill passed in the nassau legislature tonight. The measure increases protections for police allowing them to sue protesters in certain cases. Opponents rallied to reject the bill that would elevate officers to a protected class of first responders. The measure allows the county attorney to sue on behalf of officers for discrimination if they're harassed menaced or injured. Violators could face penalties of up to fifty thousand dollars now. I don't know why believes would need to sue people who harassed them and i put harass in air quotes. Because i don't know what's going to define harassment now do people yell at cops. During protests. yes. But usually i see offices agitating protest is not the other way around. And if you do get to spotty with a cop they can arrest you. They already have the power to arrest you if you are harassing them. So what's the point of suing. This is so crazy to me because when you hit activists say they want to end qualified immunity for police officers his because qualified immunity protect state and local officials including police officers from personal liability unless are determined to have violated the court defined as an individual's clearly established statutory or constitutional rights and. The court usually always side with the police. So that doesn't happen but how to hell a protest is able to be held personally liable before. Police are brian sullivan. President of nassau county corrections officers benevolent association said the law was necessary because of a widespread pattern of physical attacks and intimidation directed at the police of listened to him. I for one do not go to work every day thinking this is the day. I'm gonna get assaulted bit punch stabbed and oh well. That's just part of my job. Well bryan regular civilians. Don't wake up everyday. Thinking eager be beat up by police. Shot by police laid out on the ground and kicked in the head by police profile by police and taste for no. Dan reason intimidation and physical attacks directed at the police. Brian what about intimidation and physical attacks by police on people f y i neither union officials nor the legislative texts cite any specific examples from nassau county in regard any physical attacks on police and i of variant living in one of the multi verses on an alternate earth. Is this no longer earth. Six one six all my marblehead know what i'm talking about. I'm so confused right now. And it says a lot that new york county lawmakers quick pass lot of protect the police from people but not the people from police. Okay police officers already. Have all the power. Y'all got all this page carlin boy. Do we not even getting that. I just don't know what's happening in this country. Well yes i do black and brown you know people in any legislation that can be passed a slow our progress make it easier for him to oppress us in our voices they will do it And i know what's going on like the baby and black china and whatever else y'all paying attention to social media is entertaining but we really got to start paying attention to what's going on in government local and national okay the same type of outrage having social media for celebrities. You gotta y'all got to start having for your elected officials and lawmakers okay. This bill doesn't even detail definitions of harassment. Okay missing another conduct and it would give officers too much power to pursue a lawsuit for example. A police officer would be able to sue bystanders. Right remember people. Were yelling at that devil. Derek chauvinism suppresses knee into the late. George floyd's neck. Police officers could sued him okay. Police officers sue civil penalties of twenty five thousand pro. Violation are total of fifty thousand if these violations occurred during a riot. This is crazy. Okay if this become the trend across the country. Protesters are in trouble and protesters will think twice about speaking out against the injustice. People suffered at the hands of the police. A lot of these situations happen in areas. Where folks don't have money. They can't afford to get sued so now they really gonna mind their business when they see you know an injustice right when they see people suffering at the hands of the police. The came in department of environment also reported infected sites amal along grand cayman's east coast the now suspects that divers and boat operators be spreading it although scientists are still not exactly sure how stony coral tissue disease spreads. If you look at the outbreak map you get the feeling that it could be divers or boat. Operators there are new disinfecting guidelines for local divers. Not sure how these will translate to us when the caymans open back up again as if we didn't have enough to contend with with covid nineteen now it stony coral tissue disease and our dive gear every day. Now we're learning about more destinations for diving opening up around the world. One of these locations is bon air. There was an article on dive. News wire from the bon air tourism department. That indicated that. Us flights will resume. On june fifth and the country is launching an island-wide health initiative american and delta will be resuming their wednesday and saturday flights from miami and atlanta. Unlike the bahamas of it appears that you'll still need an antigen or pcr tests even if you are vaccinated before entry and of course for returning to the united states. It sounds like you might be able to get these tests at the airport or at three other facilities on the island so even though bonaire will open. Be sure you're properly prepared. Hopefully in the near future you'll be able to travel without restrictions if you're fully vaccinated and finally here on wet notes. I just saw that. Bob ballard has a new book out and it's titled into the deep and memoir from the man who found titanic a couple of years ago. We met doctor ballard at the sixty fifth boston. Wet Notes 5-6-2021

"This is wet. Notes here on scooby. Shock radio for may six two thousand and twenty one. I want to start off today with a story. That is a bit of personal meaning to me. And that's a story about what some recreational divers found while diving out in hawaii. Awful and i. Now i have quite a few dives out there. Awful and i and these divers found some unexploded world war two era ordinance. They found two bombs. One was at seventy four feet and the other one was at ninety four feet. The divers immediately notified to hawaii division of aquatic research. Who went out to investigate it and confirmed it was unexploded ordinance the report indicated that the munitions were about three hundred yards offshore. The exact location wasn't disclosed when but it may be in the area of the first and second cathedrals again personal for me. Because i have probably about at least twenty. Five dives onto cathedrals as of now. There aren't any more updates and there was no mention on the divers website and they run many charters out to the site. Let's see where this goes. I recently checked out the four ocean blog to see if there was anything of interest will there was a lot but one thing did pique. My interest for ocean occasionally does a blog on plastics around the world. And that's where they identify articles or stories that talk about the plastic crisis facing the world. Now one article was from interesting engineering and it was written by deora as deamer and this was about plastic eating mushrooms. Yes certain types of fungi can ingest and eat plastic apparently in two thousand eleven some yale researchers discovered rare mushroom in the amazon forest and it was able to digest and break down plastics. One of the scenarios suggest that these plastic eating mushrooms could be placed at the bottom of landfills interesting over the years. There have been various successful experiments. So what's the holdup perhaps speed. It takes times for the mushrooms to eat and digest the plastic and there's also competition for other investment now. Here's a bit of disturbing news that i saw from dima apparently there's going to be a virtual meeting of the florida fish and wildlife conservation commission or dfw see on may twelfth and thirteenth one of the topics on may twelfth. I think it is a two. Our discussion is to review and update the goliath grouper. Now this review is to look at if they should allow a limited highly. Regulated harvest of the goliath grouper. Why well that's a really good question now if you go out to the f. w. website you'll be able to find a detailed Presentation on this review. Even if the science holds up and supports the harvest. I would have to ask if the enforcement is of a regulated harvest. Dean feels that. The economic value of the goliath grouper are better served without any harvest and continue the protection they currently have. Sos thousand island. Well what's that all about. Well for those of you are familiar with the saint lawrence seaway in the thousand island region. Sos stands for save ontario shipwreck thousand island chapter now. This was reported in scuba news. Sos thousand island wants to create an artificial reef off of brockville in canada. Why are they making such a bold proposal. Were there are three main objectives. I an artificial reef will reduce the pressure on the local historic wooden shipwrecks and then second. An artificial reef can preserve the maritime history of ships that had been destined for scrap and finally this effort will assist the local aquarium in promoting maritime heritage and discovery. This is still a long way off but there is some good news in that day of identified a ship that could be used and it is the former canadian coast. Guard vessel the c. c. g. s. mont. Mandy now this ship was built in one thousand nine hundred sixty three and it was decommissioned and sold in nineteen ninety nine. Let's see where this one goes. Well here's something that. I just saw from patty. I think it was on the patty pro blog. Patty women's dive day. Two thousand and twenty one is coming and the tagline on the blog was celebrate the connection between mandy and the ocean. This year's patty women's dive day is july seventeenth 2021. This event started six years ago in two thousand and fifteen and it was started as a way to encourage more female participation in sport scuba diving to date there have been over four thousand patty women's dive day events in over one hundred countries. I'm sure last year was a little tough to get events planned and executed safely this year. More places are opening and travel is picking up. Everyone can participate be on the lookout for patty women's dive day event in your local area or maybe even travel to a nice destination to participate and finally today. I thought i'd give everyone and update on traveling. To the bahamas. As of may first the bahamas ministry of health has released new guidelines for entry departure. I if you are fully vaccinated for covid nineteen that's two weeks from your final. Does you don't need a covid. Nineteen tests prior to entry. Nor do you need to fill out the daily health questionnaire or get a covert test. After your fifth day on the island. You'll still need to apply for the bahamas. Health visa prior to entry. And you still need to get a covert test before travelling back to the united states. Now we're heading to nassau a may twenty six th so these changes make things a whole lot simpler. Hopefully more countries will open up. Like the bahamas. Well that's it for wet notes on may six two thousand and twenty one here on scuba shack radio

I mean looking at it from a from a production and marketing point. It looks like the first rocky movie cinema. Graphically you haven't gussied it up with a bunch of computer generated fireworks it. You've got life messages in this movie for everybody. Pg what had happened is a good friend of mine says faludi. Who wrote that book stiffed. Which a couple years ago is about the diminishing and kind of like deluding of the american male in the workforce and after you know this planned obsolescence almost for world war two and every generation. It seems to get harder and harder for a man to express himself and we seem to be slowly being moved on this conveyor belt out before we're ready to be moved out and it was kind of a wanted rocky showed that he still has he says has some stuff in the basement. He has a flame in his heart and i think a lot of the american male feels that way but society goes nassau. You've had your you know you're up at bat and it's time to move on and go. "Hello again everyone. And thank you for tuning into scuba shack radio. I'm your host jeff center penal. Well it is hard to believe that we are all set to close out february. Two thousand twenty one and what a crazy weather month it has been just up here in the northeast but as we've seen down south as well but doesn't it seem like we just celebrated new year's a few days ago and here we are just three weeks away from spring. I for one anxiously awaiting some warmer weather but before we get warm next weekend. Is our ice diver class. Now i'm going to be on the surface doing some video and photography While monte chris and matt take a public safety team through their Three certification dives. Let's hope the warming hut is nice and toasty now with this episode. I'm going to continue the evolution of scuba shack radio. I'm going to be adding a new segment to each show. And this new segment will be at the top and it was being titled wet notes and wet notes will be the first segment of each show. And this is where i'm going to focus on news from the scuba diving. World are ocean conservation over the past couple of weeks and maybe pass on a little bit of tidbits without going into a great deal of detail. I thought this would be a good way to start off each show to stay abreast of current events and pass along some interesting information. I will continue to do more detailed segments on various ocean health and sustainability topics along with some history in travel and of course sea hunt. It still alive will be alive and well on scuba shack radio today. I'm going to discuss one of my next is and that's nassau where we'll be diving with stuart cove but let's start off today show with wet notes This is wet notes on scuba shaq radio for sunday february twenty eighth two thousand and twenty one. Well i up today. I'm going to do an update on dry suit talq now ever since i've owned a dry suit i've been using those little pouches of talk to dust my wrist seals and neck seals. And that makes it easier to put on especially if it gets a little humid. Well we used to get these little pouches from magnet who then became gear aid when we could no longer get them from juried. We switched to getting them from diving unlimited international or dui. Recently we ran low on these talca pouches. Wanted to order some more. But do you. I stopped producing those talk pouches. I guess i'm guessing near some concern around. The safety of talk i noticed has been in news over recent years. So donna reached out to peak from dui and he suggested cornstarch to dust are seals. Make sure you do it every time now. That sounds a little strange to me. But it looks like people are using it in place of the talq. We'll give it a try. And i'll let you know how goes cornstarch. It's not just for cooking next up. Is things start opening up and we travel outside the country. We're going to need to get tested for in nineteen before we can come back well. Resorts are out there. And they're starting to accommodate their customers and making it easier to get tested. So for example. I just saw where enroll roett to resorts. The turquoise bay dive resort and the mayan princess beach dive resort are offering onsite cova testing on thursdays and fridays. And then what happens. Is you'll get electronic. Results are available in three hours. And then you'll have a hard copy the next day now you still have to pay for it in a costs about fifty bucks. Then i also check the cocoa view site down there and roett tan and it looks like they are also offering onsite testing but their prices coming in at eighty five dollars so it looks like if you're going to travel to row attend you'll find it easier to get tested for corona virus and get back home as long as you test negative but i think more and more of these dive operators out there are going to provide that cova testing or options for people so that you can go travel and then make it easier for you to get back home. Also last i think a couple of weeks ago. The president of the united states signed executive order. One three nine eight and with that executive order it mandated. That masks are to be worn on all public maritime vessels including ferries. What does that mean for dive boats. Well deana did. Some research and found out that this mandate includes commercial vessels used for dive charters and dive related activities. You'll need to be masked up upon boarding disembarking and the duration of travel. Obviously this can only apply to us. Operators i think this makes sense and i'm sure common sense will prevail given our unique circumstances when we go diving way back in the beginning of two thousand twenty i did a segment on dive travel insurance then in mid two thousand and twenty. I noticed the divers alert network. Dan their travel insurance was not available on their website is back now. However there was a short article on dive newswire that indicated that there are qualified cove in nineteen related cancellation and interruptions covered. There's a lot of detail on their website. You can read through. Essentially they cover prepaid travel arrangements. If you your host at your destination you traveling companion or family member test positive for covid. Nineteen there's also levels of coverage while traveling but you need to do your research. The good news however is that the dan travel insurance is back and it looks like they are helping to try and address the corona virus issues. It's always a good day when i go out to the mailbox and that the latest issue of the journal of diving history has arrived. That happened earlier this week. The cover of the first quarter two thousand twenty one magazine features to five women who made up the team of tech tight to mission six dash fifty. Which was america's first off female saturation team. The five women included peggy lucas. An hurley hotline renata lynch true elena schmidt and sylvia earle the journal of diving history. Formerly historical. diver magazine is the official magazine of the historical diving society. Usa and is part of your membership. I can't wait to dive into all the articles.

"It city state Nassau Suffolk Jersey Connecticut okay how do we do it I don't know we've never done before Michael Bloomberg will design the program designed to training he's gonna make a financial contribution also put together an organization that can help hire the people because we have to expand this number can fall and get this all done like this this has to happen you don't have months to plan to do this you have weeks to get this up and running super ambitious undertaking and mayor Bloomberg will help coordinate the entire effort you'll be working with the state I'm working with the city and the Nassau and Suffolk in Jersey and Connecticut I don't know with the financial contribution is anybody now it's upwards of ten million dollars but what mayor Bloomberg is doing is through the program at Johns Hopkins which he finds very heavily to public health program which is free a minute in the country he's helping us to design the programmatic operational technological components of our contract racing program and they in partnership with us are creating an online curriculum to train the tracers to recruit them to interview to perform the background checks and then we're going to coordinate all of the counties and also with New Jersey and Connecticut order order Melissa DeRosa secretary to the governor are you planning on contact freezing that cohort as well accordingly in people that have already been diagnosed you will traces many positives as you can and as the testing number goes up that number of possible people to be trace is going up the implication of your question is right won't you be identifying more positive people than you could possibly ever trace yes I believe that's true I don't care how big an army you put together you now have let's say take your number two hundred fifty thousand people tested positive how do you start to trace two hundred and fifty thousand people how many people do you need to trade this two hundred fifty thousand people that's why it's an extraordinarily impossible task and you do the best you can resources ten million fifteen million dollar hole quarter million people just look around this room is thirty people.

"Of as we mentioned the Nassau is shooting Nassau NASCAR and horse racing and the MMA stuff but obviously or or W. B. so taking place at least for now although it was golf earlier tonight and that got canceled so you'd think that sooner than later most if not all going to be shut down completely at least for a few weeks and reassessing go from there and hope that we can get back to not only some sense of normalcy for society as a whole but for sports fans who want that distraction who want to you know watch these baseball games and take your mind off whatever real life problems that you have a move all got out of you need that distraction that's why we're really hoping that the NFL does not postponed the start of their year their count of their league year and don't postpone free agency because that would be great at least have some actual sports news and some excitement whether you're a jets or giants and whatever team you root for having your team being active in free agency or questioning whether they warrant active enough in free agency and they're preparing for the draft so many levels to it but the idea that the NFL needs to worry about being in a sensitive or they don't want to come across as insensitive they had free agents signed a million dollar deals multibillion dollar deals while other sports leagues are shut down in corona viruses putting fear in people I think just the opposite right now it can be a healthy escape hopefully they decide to view it as such right get back to the call JJ after dark coming up into your calls until then eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six Reggie's ignore what's already Hey how you doing good radio you to get your opinion on two things one on that Rudy go bare you think you should be all suspended once they get everything going I mean it's ridiculous how responsible he was with you know playing in the things he did not match any mole because I don't think Reggie I think he was doing it I've read some stuff afterward I think he was doing it to show solidarity with reporters who remember the story at that time and you're talking about right or would you go bear touching all the microphones and the record is a things like that at that time the story was how reporters are going to be kept out of the locker room more report is going to be kept six to eight feet away from the players so I think that was the joke would go bare I don't think he's you know he's not gonna be suspended nor should he be suspended I think he was a guy I was just trying to lighten up the situation and unfortunately you know he got the contracted the virus somehow and it became I mean obviously shot that everything down since yeah they also said that he may have wanted to the locker room at first people things you know like you're responsible but I don't think I want to make it to you is the next how dysfunctional the only thing I wanted everything to be status quo houses baking style I could imagine the next planet MSG replaying of the Knicks losing a game about back will be off yeah right well I mean it one of the local they would have to look hard for that and we know where that is right I mean they give him a call yeah no problem thanks for taking the time out to make the call we appreciate it no I don't I think I get what you said about go bare but I mean come on he didn't know he was gonna get it he wasn't being malicious in any way he was trying to bring levity to a very you know dark situation where people were even though maybe you or I were not frightened at the time were scared of the time to the level that we are now so it's all gonna last couple days but he's trying to bring levity to the situation that was scary and bothersome so I can't even in the locker room if you try to keep it loose and you know what he's supposed to do not talk to your teammates multiple top five your teammates only one of his teammates got it anyway so it's not like you would be reckless with everybody I mean it I guess that happens out of the Mitchell got it and reportedly that's it as for the Knicks I thought I saw woods tweeted yesterday that there is it he made it seem more saving last night or two nights ago now being that it's Friday here the thirteenth two nights ago maybe two more for the Knicks are the only organization that want to continue on status quo until the government says no then yesterday came out kind of amended that saying that there were other teams that thought about that as well I don't know who's a tweet or was report that I heard but either way yeah I mean are you shocked that the Knicks and Jim Dolan would act like that I'm not and even with the mayor de Blasio saying that Brooklyn at the Barclays and and that she's gonna be shut down until further notice bam is she really statement saying that they're going to still mill yes we understand with the government saying and we will shut down again in accordance to what the rules are they make it sound like they're going to be closed for business but in accordance with the rules I don't know why that statement was written the way that it was not get that statement exactly for you in a second raising Connecticut what's up right hi talk to you I've been losing to forever under two years ago what I like to tell you and of your listeners about the diary in one men's hockey tournament that still warm there are probably familiar with his I have bargains and so bear with me the board in the frozen four digit code to the final four will be on April ninth and April eleventh and Detroit before that March twenty seventh and twenty ninth it'll be sixteen teams this week sixteen will take place in four different sites just to let you guys know that the number there isn't so many division one hockey player that came up to the NHL for example can driving from Cornell Joe Nieuwendyk from Cornell a whole bunch of these guys own America on ice from from Boston University herb Brooks one three yeah I get it so what's what I know what's the point though the point is maybe with the parliament is still going on and you you guys everything's getting jammed no it's it's not it's not still going on you talk about the NC double a frozen for yeah no it's cancel no one knows you're doing it all over your yes I do yes I do is cancel I usually set up by the OCR was get awarded you find that no it's it's it's canceled Google it it's cancel all right and then I'm I I don't go to the ends always play next week the Lake Placid no no no all the college it's it's canceled the NC the NC double in else Thursday I'm going to read it to you from the story here or my okay Google Detroit Free Press the NC double Intel Thursday it will cancel its men's and women's basketball tournament another championship events in the spring season due to ongoing crawled out break what it what would it say aqui well I know this spring events as well we have winter and spring it's in there I just had an exact what is the war no it's not done telling you ray it's not okay and it said I'm sorry I'm sorry to bother you no no no you don't bother me I appreciate Colin but I just I want I'm reading the story to you and so this is the headline of the story the NC double a canceled March madness frozen for all other championship okay okay but central Florida I'm wrong yeah I just looked it up but I did see that so no I don't think that would be that's okay it's okay I will have been wrong I was wrong the other night so it happened yeah it you know we're sorry that that's the case right thanks for the call but the only be weird for the frozen four take place but you can't play March madness no it's all shut down the story obviously was canceling March man is because that's a bigger it's you know more people are concerned with that than the all the frozen four errors in the frozen four is a big event trying to read through this and get you a better quote from this because it's mostly focused on yeah here you go whereas producer fleet says it says right in their winter and spring but its focus is it says basketball specifically as well as remaining winter and spring and CW championships that's it the main college athletics are being shut down so no frozen for the statement of the garden that we were looking for before they release a statement after governor Cuomo is basically saying the blast I guess said that if they do you know it's gonna be shut down likely for a number of months when referring to large venues as far as Madison Square Garden Barclays and then the garden released a statement saying we support governor Cuomo's decision starting tomorrow night meeting tonight our New York venues will only this is what I mean this is ridiculous will only host events that it here to the governor's very clear parameters it's a fluid situation we will be back with further further details when available so that means what events would you be hosting that would it here to the parameters the mayor say it's gonna be shut down the garden says will host events only that it here that I I doesn't mean it doesn't add up Danny's in the Bronx was up Danny well you do it again good Danny how are you all right good so I remembered at home by P. as us against most I remember that the civically act number Yankee fan but I was you know wouldn't that match my New York trip sure right but a you know it he was one of the they're the best hidden catches of all time no question if I had my choice I take Johnny bench yogi Berra and Ivan Rodriguez but that's they but I tell you you know when I lost all my respect for the address when when it will play the Yankees and Roger Clemens that redneck from Texas to the bat Adam and that money will go towards you know that the game I always remembered remember very well and P. address here that we can rush steps yeah I do I'm sure to come after that I did it book member it's the way I couldn't stand quem what well me neither I still hear Roger Clemens is day matter back to members on the street about the swing arm yeah I I hate Roger Clemens because of that and all this stuff but mainly because of that but but what do you want to and believe me I get it thanks for the call it's the World Series it's game two what do you want Mike piazza to do you want to take the and to the back and go stab Clemons with it you want to get your piazza trying to process all that's going on there no maybe some players had an issue of piazza not going out there they be questioning his toughness but at least he was level headed in a moment where hard to.

B. D. a few days before eat you get to individuals who have families who all wearing the uniform because they want to serve they're just doing their jobs and then you got to individuals who were the absolute complete scum of the earth the guy who the guy who shot sergeant Brewster apparently was going to the gun range all the time somebody so what should the gun range checks no it's not the gun range job this guy's a felon this guy had domestic disturbance charges he didn't qualify to be able to buy a gun anyway what's he doing with a gun and why is he staying in practice he probably foresaw that he would find himself in that situation and he was engaged in domestic abuse at the very time that officer Brewster shows up and then Kayla Solomon gets killed by a guy who runs her over because he doesn't want to be held accountable may it's just two people that never would have made us who were just complete acres killing.
