You've got your hotel reservations. You got all the arrangements made. You're going to Nassau and okay, first of all the flights delayed because of mechanical problems, so that's beyond everybody's control. Then you get on the plane. You've got 30 punk high school kids who are refusing to wear their masks, creating a disturbance and ultimately that the flight has to get canceled. And the response of American Airlines is we're going to send you all about on the next day I to me, you say to those 30 punk kids. Look, there are consequences for your behavior, and one of those consequences is You ain't flying an American airlines to Nassau. Go explain to Mom and Dad. Here's some discouraging news out of grand cayman and it doesn't have to do with the covid nineteen pandemic but rather about another disease outbreak among coral the stony coral disease or sc td. According to an article in the came encompass an isolated area containing disease was spotted at life off a smith cove. And that's along the south west coast and that's not good. The came in department of environment also reported infected sites amal along grand cayman's east coast the now suspects that divers and boat operators be spreading it although scientists are still not exactly sure how stony coral tissue disease spreads. If you look at the outbreak map you get the feeling that it could be divers or boat. Operators there are new disinfecting guidelines for local divers. Not sure how these will translate to us when the caymans open back up again as if we didn't have enough to contend with with covid nineteen now it stony coral tissue disease and our dive gear every day. Now we're learning about more destinations for diving opening up around the world. One of these locations is bon air. There was an article on dive. News wire from the bon air tourism department. That indicated that. Us flights will resume. Wet Notes 5-6-2021

"This is wet. Notes here on scooby. Shock radio for may six two thousand and twenty one. I want to start off today with a story. That is a bit of personal meaning to me. And that's a story about what some recreational divers found while diving out in hawaii. Awful and i. Now i have quite a few dives out there. Awful and i and these divers found some unexploded world war two era ordinance. They found two bombs. One was at seventy four feet and the other one was at ninety four feet. The divers immediately notified to hawaii division of aquatic research. Who went out to investigate it and confirmed it was unexploded ordinance the report indicated that the munitions were about three hundred yards offshore. The exact location wasn't disclosed when but it may be in the area of the first and second cathedrals again personal for me. Because i have probably about at least twenty. Five dives onto cathedrals as of now. There aren't any more updates and there was no mention on the divers website and they run many charters out to the site. Let's see where this goes. I recently checked out the four ocean blog to see if there was anything of interest will there was a lot but one thing did pique. My interest for ocean occasionally does a blog on plastics around the world. And that's where they identify articles or stories that talk about the plastic crisis facing the world. Now one article was from interesting engineering and it was written by deora as deamer and this was about plastic eating mushrooms. Yes certain types of fungi can ingest and eat plastic apparently in two thousand eleven some yale researchers discovered rare mushroom in the amazon forest and it was able to digest and break down plastics. One of the scenarios suggest that these plastic eating mushrooms could be placed at the bottom of landfills interesting over the years. There have been various successful experiments. So what's the holdup perhaps speed. It takes times for the mushrooms to eat and digest the plastic and there's also competition for other investment now. Here's a bit of disturbing news that i saw from dima apparently there's going to be a virtual meeting of the florida fish and wildlife conservation commission or dfw see on may twelfth and thirteenth one of the topics on may twelfth. I think it is a two. Our discussion is to review and update the goliath grouper. Now this review is to look at if they should allow a limited highly. Regulated harvest of the goliath grouper. Why well that's a really good question now if you go out to the f. w. website you'll be able to find a detailed Presentation on this review. Even if the science holds up and supports the harvest. I would have to ask if the enforcement is of a regulated harvest. Dean feels that. The economic value of the goliath grouper are better served without any harvest and continue the protection they currently have. Sos thousand island. Well what's that all about. Well for those of you are familiar with the saint lawrence seaway in the thousand island region. Sos stands for save ontario shipwreck thousand island chapter now. This was reported in scuba news. Sos thousand island wants to create an artificial reef off of brockville in canada. Why are they making such a bold proposal. Were there are three main objectives. I an artificial reef will reduce the pressure on the local historic wooden shipwrecks and then second. An artificial reef can preserve the maritime history of ships that had been destined for scrap and finally this effort will assist the local aquarium in promoting maritime heritage and discovery. This is still a long way off but there is some good news in that day of identified a ship that could be used and it is the former canadian coast. Guard vessel the c. c. g. s. mont. Mandy now this ship was built in one thousand nine hundred sixty three and it was decommissioned and sold in nineteen ninety nine. Let's see where this one goes. Well here's something that. I just saw from patty. I think it was on the patty pro blog. Patty women's dive day. Two thousand and twenty one is coming and the tagline on the blog was celebrate the connection between mandy and the ocean. This year's patty women's dive day is july seventeenth 2021. This event started six years ago in two thousand and fifteen and it was started as a way to encourage more female participation in sport scuba diving to date there have been over four thousand patty women's dive day events in over one hundred countries. I'm sure last year was a little tough to get events planned and executed safely this year. More places are opening and travel is picking up. Everyone can participate be on the lookout for patty women's dive day event in your local area or maybe even travel to a nice destination to participate and finally today. I thought i'd give everyone and update on traveling. To the bahamas. As of may first the bahamas ministry of health has released new guidelines for entry departure. I if you are fully vaccinated for covid nineteen that's two weeks from your final. Does you don't need a covid. Nineteen tests prior to entry. Nor do you need to fill out the daily health questionnaire or get a covert test. After your fifth day on the island. You'll still need to apply for the bahamas. Health visa prior to entry. And you still need to get a covert test before travelling back to the united states. Now we're heading to nassau a may twenty six th so these changes make things a whole lot simpler. Hopefully more countries will open up. Like the bahamas. Well that's it for wet notes on may six two thousand and twenty one here on scuba shack radio

You've got life messages in this movie for everybody. Pg what had happened is a good friend of mine says faludi. Who wrote that book stiffed. Which a couple years ago is about the diminishing and kind of like deluding of the american male in the workforce and after you know this planned obsolescence almost for world war two and every generation. It seems to get harder and harder for a man to express himself and we seem to be slowly being moved on this conveyor belt out before we're ready to be moved out and it was kind of a wanted rocky showed that he still has he says has some stuff in the basement. He has a flame in his heart and i think a lot of the american male feels that way but society goes nassau. You've had your you know you're up at bat and it's time to move on and go. Wet Notes for 2-28-21

"This is wet notes on scuba shaq radio for sunday february twenty eighth two thousand and twenty one. Well i up today. I'm going to do an update on dry suit talq now ever since i've owned a dry suit i've been using those little pouches of talk to dust my wrist seals and neck seals. And that makes it easier to put on especially if it gets a little humid. Well we used to get these little pouches from magnet who then became gear aid when we could no longer get them from juried. We switched to getting them from diving unlimited international or dui. Recently we ran low on these talca pouches. Wanted to order some more. But do you. I stopped producing those talk pouches. I guess i'm guessing near some concern around. The safety of talk i noticed has been in news over recent years. So donna reached out to peak from dui and he suggested cornstarch to dust are seals. Make sure you do it every time now. That sounds a little strange to me. But it looks like people are using it in place of the talq. We'll give it a try. And i'll let you know how goes cornstarch. It's not just for cooking next up. Is things start opening up and we travel outside the country. We're going to need to get tested for in nineteen before we can come back well. Resorts are out there. And they're starting to accommodate their customers and making it easier to get tested. So for example. I just saw where enroll roett to resorts. The turquoise bay dive resort and the mayan princess beach dive resort are offering onsite cova testing on thursdays and fridays. And then what happens. Is you'll get electronic. Results are available in three hours. And then you'll have a hard copy the next day now you still have to pay for it in a costs about fifty bucks. Then i also check the cocoa view site down there and roett tan and it looks like they are also offering onsite testing but their prices coming in at eighty five dollars so it looks like if you're going to travel to row attend you'll find it easier to get tested for corona virus and get back home as long as you test negative but i think more and more of these dive operators out there are going to provide that cova testing or options for people so that you can go travel and then make it easier for you to get back home. Also last i think a couple of weeks ago. The president of the united states signed executive order. One three nine eight and with that executive order it mandated. That masks are to be worn on all public maritime vessels including ferries. What does that mean for dive boats. Well deana did. Some research and found out that this mandate includes commercial vessels used for dive charters and dive related activities. You'll need to be masked up upon boarding disembarking and the duration of travel. Obviously this can only apply to us. Operators i think this makes sense and i'm sure common sense will prevail given our unique circumstances when we go diving way back in the beginning of two thousand twenty i did a segment on dive travel insurance then in mid two thousand and twenty. I noticed the divers alert network. Dan their travel insurance was not available on their website is back now. However there was a short article on dive newswire that indicated that there are qualified cove in nineteen related cancellation and interruptions covered. There's a lot of detail on their website. You can read through. Essentially they cover prepaid travel arrangements. If you your host at your destination you traveling companion or family member test positive for covid. Nineteen there's also levels of coverage while traveling but you need to do your research. The good news however is that the dan travel insurance is back and it looks like they are helping to try and address the corona virus issues. It's always a good day when i go out to the mailbox and that the latest issue of the journal of diving history has arrived. That happened earlier this week. The cover of the first quarter two thousand twenty one magazine features to five women who made up the team of tech tight to mission six dash fifty. Which was america's first off female saturation team. The five women included peggy lucas. An hurley hotline renata lynch true elena schmidt and sylvia earle the journal of diving history. Formerly historical. diver magazine is the official magazine of the historical diving society. Usa and is part of your membership. I can't wait to dive into all the articles i saw. The other day that there's been a an oil spill off the coast of israel and lebanon and it's impacting over one hundred miles of coastline. Now what's a little disconcerting about this is that they don't know where this is coming from this washing up on the beaches. It's the seems like there's some sort of gag order on the release of information. I'm just not sure why there was. Also a thin whale washed up on the beach apparently with oil in its loans. They say this is undoing. Much of the progress made over the last thirty years. Let's hope they figure out where this is coming from or where it came from. And if they're able to minimize the impacts and finally here's some really big news in the scuba industry especially related to scuba tanks. Luxembourg is getting out of the aluminum tank business on february twenty third. Luxor held their fourth quarter and full year. Two thousand and twenty analysts call and that's where they announced their divestiture of their aluminum product lines now. The rationale according to their press release is that they wanted to focus on high performance magnesium alloys zirconium catalysts and high pressure composite cylinders. Guess to profit margin. Just wasn't there on the aluminum tanks. They plan on selling those two aluminum forming operations in the united states and one in the in the uk. But we don't know who they're going to sell it to just yet more to come on. This is it as it. Unfolds now luxembourg. They produced a lot of tanks. And there's a lot of them out there and we're going to see what that does to the supply chain as we move forward. Well that's it for wet notes for february twenty eighth two thousand and twenty one here on scuba shock radio

Paul landers that's what's so far I think I like the Ramstein he's got to dress up like a satanic cult of dozens Paul landers are Christopher Schneider and Christian flake Lorraine's those are the guys yeah ram ram Stein how many Twitter followers is rams finance and say Sam Stein has that's where Brady she does the ram Stein four hundred and thirty seven thousand I am blown away by this looks like a cool show to watch videos there shows looks like a put on a real big like a tremendous shock a big production of big yeah that's right asking a has to be like a huge deal well good for them is to Ramstein dot com it is there I know it's crazy the show looks amazing I'm surprised you haven't had at least one person because I've been following Ramstein since ninety four got older so this is insane I mean it looks like a Vegas production with fire and the whole thing I mean and loves the and now I get it I'll go and look at these videos it looks shocked fire out of his guitar let's go out all my god work me in our in you see the Rosie he there blow torching everything that's fed ex field right there just the guy just blow torched out of his guitar so they played this bait they have had stadium tours in the states before I do it only yeah recently we just have an advertised for Dan's on Long Island going on then guides I saw ramps nine nineteen ninety seven at Nassau Coliseum yeah the greatest live performance by a band I think I've ever seen I'm seeing the video now I'm not I don't doubt station weaver beams into the crowd everybody is on fire they played the drums sticks with on fire all right out of this world this is a it and use it everything's on fires but that was back in the nineties I can't even imagine the advancements in the pyrotechnics now I just saw this fifty second video of them I mean it looks off the charts now I I couldn't understand why before but it it's more I think about the experience of C. O. M. Maisie then access our music is they have a ram caught a Rammstein shop evidently a fan shop to get your own Ramstein blowtorch and we can't even do you say Rammstein he used a Rammstein I don't know shine I think it's better Rammstein ranger right the German from in Salem rom shine if I'm shine I'm staying Weinstein Freudian two hundred fifty dollars for a ram Stein metal patches jacket you gotta listen yeah we should go which get when these jackets I don't it is September met life size.

"Nassau the recall foods all all the all for the greater for all morning meaning that very few dollars sure the you gotta do we need everybody to buy into that movie for Hey Ben Simmons you're a basketball player usually you have to shoot basketballs discord that's how the game works I'm not sure they have the I know you're from Australia so might be a little bit different there maybe you guys I don't know maybe it launches you have like a nerf gun and you shoot basketballs down there I don't know I haven't seen basketball in Australia I'm not quite sure how it works but here in America the way you should have as you're holding your hands and you have you put both hands on the ball and and one kind of guides it and the other pushes it and if you push it right it goes in and you can do that from behind this flood this line gets you three points and inside that gets you to he won't shoot Ben Simmons coach came out a couple weeks ago and said I want you to tell Ben tell is agent tell his family they usually tell Kendall Jenner okay we need to shoot I need a three pointer every single game thirteen games later no three pointers is allergic to it it's amazing job Jill appeared to go out of his way to do you try to do it gracefully credit to impede the real yeah what's guys get out of their comfort zone to realize that you have to shoot Hey if you want to be in a Broadway musical you got to think okay that's just works so anyway let's go to this is great because James Winston over the course of the week after I mean my god what a great season right I think we can all stand off James woods than what he accomplished the guy thirty touchdowns but more importantly thirty interceptions you got all of that last play of the season for James Winston is is thirty if interception in sixteen games and he spent a lot of time this week be like man I'll tell you that outside of those plays I'm a great quarterback what thirty blame it's it's awful okay and they're devastating so callous fumbles yeah it's and it's a horrible so he had a horrible year he's been in the league for five years he's he just hasn't looked that good and Bruce Arians well how do you feel about everything that happened at the quarterback position this is a good enough to win either for a with another quarterback yeah when when with us when we go in we can definitely win with another one to have a defense fell devastating is there we go well with those but we can certainly you could certainly win with another one and James woods things heart broke that day get what now but here's the thing too because James Winston I think this is pretty important and James Winston first round pick number one overall he's been around for five years they picked up the fifth year option there was kind of debate about that he's had some off the field issues and he said you know what we're going to stick with them will give a shot with their ins will see what happens they give me a shot he throws thirty interceptions and the rumors are still that they're going to keep this guy have you seen Tennessee right talking about him all night what the Tennessee do well they had the number two pick in the draft dad Marcus Mariota they gave him for years they weren't sure they extended him for the fifth they gave him six weeks but they got competition in the mean time when Ryan Tannehill's available they said you know what this is a guy that's kinda similar to Marcus and maybe we can make something out of women competition is good and so they bring in Ryan Tannehill and they give Mariota time and it doesn't work he goes to one for so ten hill comes in any saves this season right teams are always scared to move on from the quarterbacks it's such an important position and there's so much fussing that goes on about it right your most casual no nothing fan right that person watches are half of the game per year but has takes they know about quarterbacks they heard the names they've got opinions and so everybody's fussy about quarterbacks it's just such a recognizable position so you don't always want to move on there's a fear of risk right if you know what your guy he is and it's not really good or at least pretty good you got to move on you owe it to yourself to move on is it a possibility that James winter if you go somewhere else he turns out to be a decent quarterback maybe maybe somebody happens to speak to any realizes all maybe I shouldn't throw and thirty interceptions in here maybe maybe I can just say well if I didn't do that you know so if that happens okay but you know what's happening when he's with you in the moment and what he brings to the table and it's not good enough for your team like are you so scared of what life without Jamis Winston is is he that good is he that inspiring does he show you that much of superstar talent at this point no he certainly doesn't you bring in cam Newton right if cam Newton's available you take a shot why not honestly Andy Dalton it may be Andy Dalton works out there I don't know I put him in Bruce Arians offense and see what he does certain years Andy Dalton could be pretty good is he a highlight name is he the biggest superstar in the world now but I've seen enough James Winston if I'm in Tampa Bay I've seen enough you got to have the courage to move on you got at least sign competition and for Tampa Bay to just roll with Jamison think that everything's going to be fine total mistake absolute total mistake and you wonder how many teams are willing to make this risk you can't be scared you get with your run the team he can't be scare let's go to the phones and let's go to Westchester we'll talk with Mike what's up Mike they always pleasure to hear any man that's why I was trying to say we can list you in the national here's a L. I. D. I'm pretty sure you know let's listen it we we got a lot of calls Mike we've been pretty busy comment by area and by the way I mean this is the best we we we thirty and thirty we are all the meat that you know okay who could end up their bench as possible with regard in up there oh my god I that sounds wrong lake as I don't I don't love Brady I almost died I would feel bad for him if he ended up in Tampa Bay have really so I mean look at this here a lot of openings right now I don't know me but there's Ryan Tannehill took that job ran with it play in Tennessee in a March I was gonna eat in your backup or traded my ticket was too but I I I I gotta I gotta say man section really terrible it beats comments get more more I don't know what to go I guess it is what will we be talking about you know well I don't think those two critical they say they've been Simmons you don't shoot everyone knows you need to shoot you got the contract it's a championship season like you're supposed to shoot dude if you want to get to the finals you got a show to go to the coach can mail told to do it too and do I remember you said it we want what we on one three pointer came eight the eight free throws these are nuts and we look at these incredibly lost in the stop and I don't know but and I think they should take the the van but away from the you know for like also exact way ale Carol star games but I mean like you said John Scott the the the fighter the goon from the these national I believe all those teams we made the all star dell I'll look it up we'll get the answers on Arizona Yahoo's Arizona Arizona I'm sorry moreless United figure with which one it was but yeah I mean who cares for me I got a moments like stupid I mean that's like that Major League Baseball last spoke to you really are you really clap proud to be the last player selected by a fan base okay somebody pressed about a thousand times to get in well it is it's a weird thing I'll say this if I'm taco fall in theirs is massive campaign to get me in because it's kind of funny that's a weird spot to put him in like that is not in her head at me the other night for him yeah that's fine if they're at the game and they want to give them love and all that stuff I get that and in a way I get that I get the voting it is funny but for the guy himself in that spot where it because if he gets in there will be the question of everybody will be talking about is should taco fall accepted should the NBA step in and tell him he can't go like one of the Celtics going to say to him about this it's just it is an uncomfortable thing now if he takes it and handles it well it it can be a good opportunity but also is a a string uncomfortable thing as well I bet you're gonna check too much by doing the people I'm telling you they're very sense of us also mature comments like to relax you know yes in opinion that's life man Mike I appreciate the call then thanks so much and if you want to get in eight five five two one two four two two seven that's eight five five two one two four two two seven on Vince Quinn here with you on CBS sports radio and here's the other thing too just a little thing by the way we've been talking a lot about New England of whether or not they're a legitimate Superbowl contender I think they lose to the Titans if people want to say it they're scared of it because the Titans aren't popular there have been a sexy team all year we don't hear about him all the time Ryan Tannehill and what his track record is I'm just looking to what I see right now that's all you have to evaluate football football can change in a couple weeks right look at the eagles I you know they they had no business being anywhere near the playoffs they were a bad team and in four weeks they're completely different things happen changes happen players can get better or go backwards or get injured and so you got a look at what you got in the moment and one of things that I'm looking at when I see the patriots and and New England people know this okay it's it's incredibly obvious to them but the special teams game matters that's too important nobody likes to talk about kickers either kickers aren't sexy kickers they're not football players believe score more points than anybody else in the history of football all the top scores all time in the NFL our kickers so for them to have turnover ticker this year because they've had injuries not a great thing for New England I could see the missing a kick at Gillette not a given so eight five five two one two four two two seven again that's how you get an eight five five two one two four two two seven we've been talking a lot about New England let's move to the other game shall we let's.

B. D. a few days before eat you get to individuals who have families who all wearing the uniform because they want to serve they're just doing their jobs and then you got to individuals who were the absolute complete scum of the earth the guy who the guy who shot sergeant Brewster apparently was going to the gun range all the time somebody so what should the gun range checks no it's not the gun range job this guy's a felon this guy had domestic disturbance charges he didn't qualify to be able to buy a gun anyway what's he doing with a gun and why is he staying in practice he probably foresaw that he would find himself in that situation and he was engaged in domestic abuse at the very time that officer Brewster shows up and then Kayla Solomon gets killed by a guy who runs her over because he doesn't want to be held accountable may it's just two people that never would have made us who were just complete acres killing.

"With a back. Yeah. I know it's like. Yankees have the ultimate right? So they park and all that other stuff now statues, but they have all the plaques and all that other stuff. I think could you imagine. If the Yankees decided to do statues out in front of Yankee Stadium. Holy crap goal the way around. Yeah. It looked like lollapalooza. Like a million people there. Yeah. I know. Well, and it also do you ever see the Mario statue? They have all. Yeah. So it's got it's actually got two islanders because it's at famous play. We broke through the two defencemen. They made statues of two islanders defenceman end. How you do it though. That's the thing, you know, like the islanders could have statues. They could. Nassau coliseum. Belmont thing. Bettman's still pushing that whole thing. What? They play their playoff games anywhere. But the Nassau Coliseum that is that is an absolute mistake. Disgrace describes I'll say mistake. Lost say disgraceful disgraceful travesty. Dammit travesty. Yes. I like travesty not disgrace. But travesty all right. Very good. It's home-ice advantage, man. Yeah. Without a doubt, the old porn if you will NYC live at Nassau Coliseum slap some lipstick on that big. We'll tell you that. It's still a pig. But we like the fact that it's a pick. Now looks like a slinky. Yes. Definitely does by the way, this stadium in person is crazy, man. It looks like it's unbelievable. When you look at it here to see the inside of it. Yeah. I mean, it's got all those panels and the weirdness opens, unfortunately, the the roof is not going to be open for the Super Bowl. So, but which would make it really a cool look to it yet. I think it's probably a good thing. I mean, it's probably gonna be raining there. Same possible rain on Super Bowl Sunday, which means then our show the Super Bowl today. The pre-game show that last for four hours will be in. Inside not outsource you want. The ring you don't want to be outside from four hours. We would be outside for two hours hour and a half or something like that. So you rooting for the rank you want that rain kind of like being outside. You didn't this morning? We were walking over here. Well, that was kind of weird. The hotel is attached to this. Get the shower going. I got the issues this morning, and I got to walk out six to I didn't love the outside work either. I gotta be not that I'm high maintenance, but it wasn't didn't have a jacket on what? Because I didn't think I was going outside. Purple vice you go outside when it's can attach to your hotel. I don't know. That's what we're shawny took us over here. Tony up with you. I had an old maid outside. I was taken. I trust me. I know. But he said that we had to go outside. We were told right? So I said, okay. So tell me that Sean screwed up.

"Doctor Citron was there when the funding cut I turned to be willfully naive or out of the loop. So I didn't know was coming to an end, although I think that knowledge probably was available. I think what it became public to our patients. It was a couple of months before it actually close. There were still a clinic, but a lot of the time it was just one doctor seeing patients, no social workers. No nurse practitioners know infusion room and it was moved to a location that was kind of like hiding book in a library, moved to location wherever numerous other outpatient services were seeing patients. At the same time. I called up sickle cell specialists all over the country to talk to them about these centers and why they closed. They spoke about this decision in a way. I. I wasn't used to hearing doctors talk. They were frustrated. One doctor Johns Hopkins said, holy cow, what dumb idea. When you came here, how many people were working on cycle? So I was the director of myself Dr. Katharina Manetti is in charge of the sickle cell program at Mont. If your now she's been trying to build the clinic backup over the last few years. And I have dial you that my beige in here, the one that remember they still beg me and they said, Dr mini. Why don't we have them room? So you still have patients who talk about? Oh, I do. I do. I really do. Yes. I do have patient that they're still remember vividly the infusion room. What? What was it about that place that makes them like keep asking for it to come back? I while it was immediate access to care. Secondly, was the sense of home that would not be judged or mistreated or considered addicts. Dr. Minniti says that I h d funded these centers because it wanted to research better treatments for sickle cell. Even a cure, but you cannot do research without care. That's what this fundamental doin their stamp. A decade after these centers closed, here's where things stand according to the most recent data. We have the median age of death for adults with sickle cell hasn't changed for four decades. Men die around age forty one women die couple of years. Later doctors can't be sure, but I think it's because comprehensive care is so hard to find. Cassandra Dopson that nurse who wants treated prodigy. She remember seeing him one last time. She says he just collapsed on stage during a show. And I remember saying to him, why don't you develop an organization where you are the manager and you get other people that don't have to saying you don't have to sink 'cause you're gonna get dehydrated, you're gonna be sweating like a horse. You're gonna be trying to run around those stage singing and you're gonna collapse. I remember saying that to him because you become so dehydrated. So you are worried about his health when he was storing that? Definitely. 'cause I know that he was on toward like hundreds of lay days a year Lee? Yes. And that's one thing you cannot do you have psycho. He a set that he loved what he was doing. Any did say that he loved music. He loved rapidly sending a message to the world. I think the message could have been. Send on a different platform. You know, without you trying to kill yourself. See worried about him, dying young, it it really. I was so heard when I heard that he died. I, I literally had to stop just praying and cried because he was in his forties. Is that young, it's for now for six out patients. It should not have happened. When prodigy died. All of Cassandra's concerns came true, but that's not where our story ends, not yet because in two thousand eight, just as all these centers were closing, changing the lives of countless sickle cell patients that same year prodigies life was also turned upside down. Next time on the real nece prodigies up north trip. The real production of WNYC's studios hosted by me, Christopher Johnson and Mary Harris, our editors Christopher worth..

I mean, I'll go very, I was glad it wasn't at the car. This city was disrespectful. I call it like I saw it incredible city, incredible new venue. They just ran away high crime rate. Is that true? New York? I thought since Giuliani, your guy, I thought he cleaned is not my guy. What do you mean? I I know. know. No. All who likes you kind what's kind, you know, or audience? The red guys. Yeah, he's a liberal, but he none of you must love it. I enjoy politics. I get a kick out of it. You watch it all, but I'm one of those guys, you know, people say you never should never discuss politics religion with anybody, which is a good rule that silly, but I find at least I find that I'm an exception to because no matter what stance I have. I am willing to change my mind if you confront me with new evidence. So the last guy you wanna ever argue with in life air and you'll meet a lot of these people is the guy that isn't willing to be wrong signal. You have to be willing to be wrong l. let me try to convince you and I'll be willing to be wrong and you trying to convince me then you can have some fun if you can't get in those kind of discussions, you gotta just stay away because somebody will get their taboo. I don't know who cares. I don't. I don't think less of you if you voted for this guy that don't understand cross me out this way, you vote that one who cares vote, didn't even count, and then we could go have have have a meal. Talk about other things that we agree don't agree on, but just because we don't agree on something doesn't mean we can't be friends. Yeah, I don't find understand this. I also don't, but it. But at the same time I've seen it enough. It is a good rule. Just you say what I think and I would encourage people to even on your podcast, whatever you don't talk about any of this. I don't talk about any of it goes by the. Well, thank you. Thank you, help people how they can watch them. Oh, thanks my YouTube channel. Yeah. Go to you to type in my name. You put out an incredible amount of them. Yeah, I get a kick out of it. I, you know, who makes those? I've found a gentleman. Ryan Parsons, my partner, Ryan Parsons founded gentleman, Dylan. He's a grad film student Portland state, which happens to be two blocks from where I report my podcast. So he just throws all the quick on his shoulder and walks down. Okay. So those shots of you in the the booth, so to speak with the, you're doing your podcasts, he's just filming. He's just filming it, and then he cuts them up or you cut him up, Ryan will cut them up. Yeah, with his help, but then maybe we'll jump in the car. I'll give them a ride back to campus, which is too, but we'll make video in the court. Sometimes. I see. Like you did one or couple in Vegas. You do some at the gym who's doing that?.
