Maradona was for argentina. Hi guys pleasure to be with all of you. Maradona as the most important figure ever in argentina i. It doesn't matter what where when everybody would always talk about madonna. He's a legend. Now the idol and now a legend. I it's just unbelievable the morning and what people on the streets are doing in the middle of a pandemic they don't care if in argentina right now for example in the stadium of book juniors. There's hundreds of thousands of people probably a lot more tonight gathering where he played and won a championship. There's hundreds and thousands of people gathered around out of junior stadium where it all started and there's hundreds and hundreds of people outside of his house in a very poor neighborhood. Outside of one is ours. Quality fiorito the house where he grew up on with dirt floors lighting candles every street every corner every city. Every town people are out on the streets and tomorrow in the funeral it will be in the government's palace. They're expecting over a million people tomorrow in the center of one side is to say goodbye to somebody. Who's the most famous argentinian for us. And the most famous argentinian around the world ever so people are really suffering something that they knew it was going to happen sooner rather than later. What a player was. Yeah i mean multiple world cups. They played on one one obviously in a sex with not the best argentina site but he was amazing went to spain and eighty two and played in the world cup's twenty one year old a way in his shoulders. One so young at that point got himself sent off from the big game against brazil will even lend from the came back was even stronger delivered and one of the things that were thinking about is up until his death today. If he'd gone to any club to visit and the world the moment be the biggest clubs in germany. spain. Italy england every player. Some of these players are superstars. Everyone of these players would have wanted a photo. We've seen some of the pictures videos during the when he did go and visit Clubs over the past few years and an all these guys all the ones to do a photo. Welcome because everybody just know what a superstar boys and it could walk into any club under beg stars would all be over to say please. Can i have a full. Because that's how much people hold them and respect gap markazi with us as well gabe. Obviously we heard how argentina is hurting in particular as naples today. No question about it. People are out there on the streets in naples. Even though of course there is a curfew going on right now The connection that he made with naples obviously his adopted city and some might look some of the darkness in his life and pinpoint. That is the moment when when things started to go wrong for him by you know you. You speak to his teammates former teammates and dal speak of of his generosity. They speak about how he was always front and center always standing up to be counted. Random people on the street and to this day in the streets of naples. You'll find murals tomato. You'll find shrines to montana. He had a hold over a city city. That was when you arrive was was beaten down was was impoverished had never won a title There's a divide between the wealthier north of italy in the poor south of italy and they won two titles while he was their third one. They let slip away at the end. Still rather murky circumstances and he's the guy who changed all that he changed the inevitability of history. I think in the eyes of the united a lot of people and that's why he resonated so much she loved certainly enables but i think beyond that he loved being anti-establishment he loves speaking his mind. And i'll tell you what. Then i throughout his life you know. He had highs and lows he made enemies and then at times but in the end in the last fifteen twenty years whether whether it was pillay whether it was peter shilton he he came back and he made up with with a lot of the people he he fell out with and i was struck by something i read. I read somebody posted an interview. He gave back Back is a nineteen year old where he talked about how we talk about. Favorite actor was right on which i found kind of random but he talked about what is greatest trait was and he said i wanna be friends with my enemies and and i think in many ways that is how much of the world from a distance viewed him as as somebody who had the good fortune before he passed to go back and and and really rebuild all the bridges and all the relationships and and really leave us on on good terms with good terms with with very much. Everybody out there ricky. Take us through your point of view with regards to how you will remember him. Remember him of one of the greatest ever on the feel and also a personality so strong and controversial of it. Not many great athletes have done that that to be so much in spotlight for his entire life since since he was about seven eight years old when in argentina they started talking about him he used to play for the us and the red star is today's roca. Were people will gather out of nowhere. Because they knew there was a new kid that was unreal and this was way before cable internet and social media and he did all that before those times. Which is just incredible. He was just different than everybody else and that will remember him. Also as a great great captain whether you love or you hate him. He loved that. Argentinian jersey. More than anything in more than anybody. He was a great leader. He would push to the end. And that's why how he won a world cup. That's how we made it to the final and the second world cup. He played injured with his right leg in really bad shape his ankle and really bad shape. If you look at through the years he started at the age of sixteen Playing in first division and he never stopped. I think he could've played ten more years if he would've taken care of himself. I also remember him for that for not being able to really take care of his body and his mind. It just went over his heading. Never control himself. He went into politics and a lot of people hating him for that but he always spoke his mind. He didn't care. What where when and all. These things for maradona are just different. From almost every other athlete maybe with except mohammed ali that in and out of a field or boxing ring he just kept being on the front page of every paper and every newspaper that was ever printed. It's just unbelievable coming from argentina that i was listening to be there. You know you think of italian soccer in the eighties. I think he was one of the first ones who made people around the world. Want to watch league. Like the italian league just because maradona was playing he. He won napoli twice where they could have. Never even come closer to that. And i've been there many many times and it's just unreal today yesterday and thirty years ago for every day you can buy and maradona shirt. A lot easier than you canning. Senior member things ham seek e way. Anybody that played after him. It's just incredible. What those people thought and loved about the madonna to go back to you. What ricky said about. you know. it could've played longer. Potentially i looked after these body a little bit longer and his main but then the game didn't look after the maradona's back in those days and for louis people the younger generation watch lino massi. Do all these things and they are great. And i'm not taking that away. But he was doing that on. ploughed fields. right with pitches where the ball would. Something's wouldn't even bums are bubbled hard to control with defenders who were some of the roughest toughest one and literally wanted to snap them. It's not please legs. Because that was the only way to stop him and he had to deal with that every time we went on the field and still perform and some of the most wonderful and great goals. That will ever see you can imagine ho has body with the bean. At the end of a game ho the game was played and refereed and the eighty s is a complete contrast to the modern game and rightly so the way the current players are protected. He did not have the did not have that luxury and yet were still able to do that. Which is quite amazing. We'll say thank you very much to rookie for joining us Of course we just say out pouring of support. And this is what i had to say on twitter. What's sad news. I lost a great friend and the world lost a legend. There is still much to be said but for now make god give strength to family members. One day. I hope we can play pool together in the sky. Welcome to the show. Now someone who knew exactly what it was like to go. Head to head with maradonna international level in a world cup final and obviously on domestic level clinton's men into milan. When diego maradonna was. That is very best for napoli again. Thank you very much for your time. Just your initial reaction about very very very said moment. I think full entire world of football On monday madonna was Was an absolute exception. He was Probably for to take decades. You know the late eighties to the nineties. The most most Amazing play on the planet. He was a A genius he was i. I called him always artist. There's there's they did degrade football player. And then there's maybe one artist and diego maradona's was an artist. He what he did on the field full of creativity full of unbelievable to take knee was just an her off. And i had the pleasure to play many times against him with club team if it was stood guard and you if a cup final was germany world cup finally if it was Into milan the two games against napoli. And you just simple simply admire this guy and to have him. Passover early just sixty sixty years of age is a very very sad to pull unfortunately reality. You can just take us back to to that time. And just how big walls he while he was on his own level in. Oh they were great players obviously in the late eighties. Early nineties in italy Lauder mateos was one of the best players in the world goalie from boston. Right cut curriculum. Ow before i was maybe blood was was was unbelievable. Great players but he was an another level. He was just someone that that always made the difference and figured things out on the field that nobody else could figure out so you could men mock him. You could mock him his own older. You had no no idea how to mock him because he was just so gifted and so there was so much admiration for him and and outside the field he was just a simple very Normal person in a lot of people thought momma donna. All his Issues then drugs and other things. Li laid on was a very complicated person. He was not. Diego was a very down to earth. Very normal guy that just wanted to be with his friends with his families and What he has brought to argentina you will never forget that in what he brought to his especially to is not believer son of naples That people will never forget that. So imagine today You know how people morning in argentina and in napoli in italy and around the world is just a just a very sad moment. you're what was it like the reaction from the crowds when you were up against napoli and maradona's was on the board. I imagine just that sense of expectation must've being palpable even as a player. Yeah i mean i've been. I heard the news i was. I was really shocked as money. And and i posted something on my twitter side and i rarely actually post things but by posted something that i always thought about. Diego was his warmup routine depending on the music in the stadium started to do his routine with jogging and the ball around and that was made him. I think it has seven million hits by now. Life is live music. Dead really is jay. Go on monday madonna. He just wanted to be in rhythm himself if the music with the game and when you watch him then doing his walmart you you phase him actually as an opponent and you kind of have lost the game because you gave him so much respect you give him so much and because he was such a fantastic football player that your and that kind of transfer to the to the to fans in the stadium you know the even away games for him became home games because the people just wanted to see him. You know if you played in milan in front of eighty five thousand which is kind of standing up giving him standing ovations even if you may be lost a game or other games so so he was just a. It was a sustained unique over almost twenty years. And i always put him on the same pay leeann fronts. Bacon bala prior to madonna and then obviously came the next generations with Mac in our analogy. But but donna izzo in his own way. I simply unique. You mentioned the next generation yorgen and a lot of people may be seen. Maradonna play live the younger generation who are watching. Just talk about the fact that was. That was the protection. Was that from the referees. That maybe have now and you're playing on very different surfaces as well well in in in his days Obviously the fields were not good. The reveries didn't give you any protection. Ended defenders has killers. You know they just ditch us. I don't know how many follows a game run on madonna. Try to stop him all over two three defenders at the same time when all over him and he's still find solutions he's still found found a way out in score and scott incredible goals then so he took a lot a lot of hits And obviously his fame than along side in the spotlight living. The spotlight was not really his his wish. His wish was to be a normal guy playing his game. Making the difference on the field off the field he just wanted to be with friends and family but what he what he achieved because of those circumstances doing his playing days is almost impossible to achieve the interest thing as i saw clip from an of. You're on sky sports in the uk from a couple of weeks ago and it was moretz. You'll portrait was on former tottenham manager of course former argentine international news talking and they were talking about maradona. And he said we know we have all these stories about the off-the-field antics of recent years and even when he was playing but behind the scenes privately when he was with you or with. These teammates. Away from the glare of the media. He was a really genuinely warm individuals that wanted to help people the rest of as all a big story true for the newspapers but it was interesting portrait. He spoke so long layover in another thing. I think about because it's a different era to me but playing against the likes of the brazilian ronaldo the world cup and france ninety eight and seen what he can do with three or four plans around. You thought you had time in the corner on the over sudden four people and he was getting strike goal and we know how good he was. Brilliant for the hair would have been laid to play against off. That's where it was like playing against a great player. Light renowned on the other thing was empty before my oktay jokes. Gian-franco franco zola. He was going to be the air at one point. I believe to diego maradona napoli. No zola was a majestic player. But can you imagine having the way and your shoulders of go in there and potentially replace the quality of maradona. so it's unfathomable. Anybody can do that. But but no yet i think everybody of have over the piece of just we know there's lots of stories. We notice milan. But this was really apart from great. Football was a really genuinely warm guy. Last point again you do fail. That will never be anyone like diego maradonna again. I don't think so. Because i think diego maradona was was so unique because the way he emotionally connected with the people of his people and weren't as iowa's in argentina his people in napoli was so deep it was so warm and it was so i- amazing to see i traveled to and obviously go down to two zero so badly wanted to watch book. Juniors weevil played one eight. My life was when my list. And i walked through. Borka the the area around the stadium and almost every second house wall was a was a painting a tribute to jingle maradonna. I mean it's just what he left there with the people they were one they just just melted into each other and the same. He did in napoli for for napoli august. This is a today is very very sad. Sad day because this is this is her almost lifetime hero. I mean throughout generations. You know what he brought to napoli brought to the city of napoli brought hope he brought a smile. He brought excitement. He gave them pride pride. Because you know those years when he joined napoli was a big big Have kind of a disconnection between the south and off in italy and and he wanted to give these people real a real jojoba real pride. And that's what he did through the game of football. He used the tool of football to to bring these people up and and give them give them a quality of life to give them so much more than just his goals on the field. And that's what you see him. That's why i think devil be not a second minor donna coming up anywhere in the world he was. He wasn't one time off like michelangelo or fun. Goal or all these famous autists. He's he's one of them. You can kinsman. Thank very much sheriff supposed to be an outpouring around the world on social media messy writing a very sad day for all argentines and football. He leaves us but does not leave. Because diego is eternal. I'd take all the beautiful moments linked with him and wanted to take the opportunity to send him condolences to all his friends and family. Alrighty

We also welcome to the show gab. Marcatti and argentine colleague from espn deported. Ricardo ortiz is with us rookie. I want to start with you to try out. Some how important. He had highs and lows he made enemies and then at times but in the end in the last fifteen twenty years whether whether it was pillay whether it was peter shilton he he came back and he made up with with a lot of the people he he fell out

How about a language vacation
"Tour Guide Kerry Walker is an American language, but she's worked on her language goes in Central America and was immersing herself in Italian lessons when we last checked in with her Kerry, where have you gone in Italy to study the language I? So I started off in a school at Monte Pacino School in town so I Did that for about a week, which was a great start but then left I really needed more so I quickly learned that private lessons for me were the way to go really get the most being my book I said my last two studies have been in home stays with my teacher. So private is better than group for you for me, but is it more expensive because it's one on one? It is more expensive. But my goal is to really learn the language and order to do that. I realized that I really need that one on one, which is focused exactly on where I am where my misconceptions are the things that I want fine tune, and also that the places that I want to go may teacher can take me there much more quickly they can tailor the teaching to your exact interests you know all over the. World there's a lot of people earning their living despite teaching. English. As a second language is it can flip flop it. Are there a lot of people in Italy that earned their living or supplement their income by teaching foreigners Italian without question it's a big business. How you learn about that you know there's a lot of different ways. There's not one place to go to I. Really do it a lot of different ways I. Just asking people, where did you study? So I, got my last home state through my Italian tutor back home had another student that I spoke to I. So I think really getting those references from other people. Also some research, there's a lot of people now that have contacts with teachers all over Italy, and then you move in and you just how many hours a day or a week where he works. So I did I did about four to six hours a day, but I ate breakfast lunch and dinner with that family our table with ALFRESCO. Semi my classroom was Tuscany alfresco outside as living it. I was I was all those things that I needed to learn. My teacher was right there. So so it's it's a lot of work I I've never bothered I I have. A great time in Italy why would you spend all the time and money learning the language I'd love connecting with the culture I mean I think just to be able to move in and really not only did I. Learn the language I learned the culture I said at that table every day and for me that makes travel so much more real. So that is it. If the bottom line, the bottom line is not speaking the language, but it's connecting with the culture and with the language it's like you've got better vision. Exactly. You've done this also in Costa Rica and. Those are two different. Spanish. Speaking Countries. How does your choice of a destination? Impact, the learning that you have and what you come away with because Costa Rica and Nicaragua you went to both of them and you were trying to learn Spanish Why would you go to one rather than the other for me? It was based on what I wanted to see as well. I had some travel goals to for people. I. Think it's often going to depend on what part of the world you WANNA. See a said oftentimes that's the case also, you have to think about what kind of language you WanNa come away with if you went. Back to learn French and then you go to France, they're gonNA look at you like where are you from? Exactly so that's one of the reasons I chose not to study in Sicily obviously Naples I want to for me 'cause you don't WanNa, go around the world speaking. In, Tuscany, the kind of Italian. That I want to come away with what they're speaking there.

"This they walked in a bank vicious like a suitcase or some of them which shoe boxes and they fill those things with the money and went home and they were sitting chauvinism safety safety and this is how ex exactly the whole economy started you can walk i mean i have friends they did and i picked up five different companies so i selected very carefully the products you know something i don't remember exactly what aren't table and he's like okay so now the money would i'm going to do some of them you know didn't do the right thing and they like open business and failed and you know i never travelled by bus never scheduled anything i just kept going and always whenever i end up ivan inside the door and salt as how it was just the interesting to to think about right now that that the from beginning of my life you know i always an and i never took the and i never did this because i never crossed my mind is this easy road and i never picked easy road i always pick the harder and can mean thinks i do and just jump on the street he jake and just end up in the city and always sold and somehow sometime i got home night depends sir eighty nine amazing i heard about the black markets opening up into white markets during that time i studied this in school make me start talking about stuff i never talk about amazing what do you do to me nothing man just have more coffee yeah so i start handmade so some artist made three d. map and that was displayed on different parts of the city and it was like an art and on those little shop ice cream store or you know what you probably gonna need choon have millions so why don't they have millions and a national okay let's good idea just me rau- entrepeneurship at its best it's the best kind yeah but you know it just seems to me like if i will just go to the bank like everybody else and say hey parts they made those businesses that paid more bigger so they send out you know so in this whole graphic thing and there was interesting idea it because if you if you choose the easy way there's much bigger chance you're gonna fail and you you're not going to learn anything guard no car no bicycle i just every morning i just look at a map and i pointed fingers this is where i'm going to go and i have backpack just make it look like i kept the money but some of the operating at the now but it was literally that easy to come to the bank and say hey i want to open a business and can i get some money going from businesses to businesses and i always ask what they do and you know opposite let me sell it for you right so because i have no problem to talk to people i mean it can nobody else can replicate them and that's like to my heart and right now for instance would doing here it's it's all not a product was t shirts not a product like cleaning products and whatever i had had like five different companies imprisoning no business imagine you you know like everything's owned by government and then two weeks later nothing is owned by government and if you wanna bread you need to find somebody who's gonna bake it because it's no more bakery the whole idea of this whole concept and even this podcast we doing right now is different and i'm glad to be doing it because you know people let's just let's agree in older thrice whoever but one of them was map like an advertisement my because they were doing some kind of three d map was way ahead of the times but easy and shortcut and one person oh we had this discussion with one of my friend and and she said you know that's that's good morning my name is margot wilson i would like to open business can i get some two million dollars on this what are you going to do i'm just going to open i started so this eighty nine that's i mean i started basically eighty four maybe incredible this is how it started because if you choose the hardaway then then you know you're going to get better and you're going to get better than anybody else because experiences that you're gonna have throughout the process really i have a couple of points that i am pulling away from your story which was amazing thank you i know that was a legendary time provocative the opportunity was on unbelievable if you had some sense of business and you showed up and and the way people spoke about that part of the world and when i say that part of the world i mean the former soviet union that part of the world but i'm not from russia as you for second i never heard that none of that you know just just everything's different divine apples dot com is different i mean i kind of explained to you uh so so you know those people yesterday they didn't meet the right time and the right moment and the right place to really know you so now they're clueless will you truly are and when you come to the coffee shop have this conversation i heard you talking to marvin the local artists people in the street and you don't know anything about him if they answering with a one word answer and perfect example you just told me now let me just continue to do i don't wanna bore anybody here but you know it's just i started selling for five different companies and kind of the hard way and even the coffee shop even menu the items on the breakfast you know we were thinking about all of that the very long time and i'm from russia despite could be but he doesn't so that part of the world in the eighties was and i'm gonna say something yesterday night even and you just didn't want to be alone and you end up in a bar we don't gonna give them plug but you know you end up in bars sitting there loss and in the works where i knew some of them and one of them was ever employee has to be given soap unit at the right moment what he can learn what he can you know and you can have really different feeling from that human being or exchange and it's amazing food so i i start picking up this big factories right so we have some of the factories five thousand employees ten thousand employees so other figured it out not using strategies right and i was sending this cleaning product and by government government had still some kind of old having this conversation and and kind of exposing myself a little bit my boss and my experiences is is just like we all are people we all have something and in place in certain like labor laws and stuff like that so i was like okay so i have this cleaning product which is basically soap right and i know that today over africa of initial i mean it sounds crazy right people say it's too dangerous as if you're a young man on the rise and you don't know exactly we could easily just say okay we do pancakes and sausages everybody does that he's fine everybody's they're disorganized easy you come here you see the menu and you're gonna say okay let me think because i already heard somebody else at the problem if not the maybe just enrich people with the experiences we have through but you know it's interesting you mean giving no samples immediately they were telling me everything they were telling me is in charge of this and this and that you know and normally nobody's talking a- and if we can share information they can we can share to the experiences and we can share somehow that you know what we go through in life maybe for a future podcast i would love to hear your opinion on how you would do things over again knowing now knowing then what you know now every employee has to get one right so i don't go to the factories and try to sell that because one sale was just taking cover me we're just growing like mushrooms you know and you market everything is now open and people didn't know what to do with that was just really interesting hearts explain because and i got to the point where i get smart so you know sunning well maybe it was the moment when i get smart maybe you know i get to the point where i stood nicely to security and give them anything so i wrote down everything and then went to dr did same thing and then went home try to doc them from inside so i went to the gate and you know those people on the gate what do you call them the security security so i started save some cash and so i had this author form and and i put the cash underneath of the second page and the you know what looking looking back to all this and having knowledge and information that i have today and sure grew up in this country you know i i mean i came you know sometimes people just don't feel like talking about their pasta and stuff like that you just need to be in the moment and and it's interesting if you can meet somebody good morning formation of all these people you know by just asking around and then one day i just went inside and here's how i did i mean it was i for three hours almost you guys were pumping you know what i'm saying that the exchange here was so magical i didn't i i was just whoa i wish for somebody to do this nevertheless i came to the to the first factory and i and what opportunities you would have targeted with all of that access to capital in a fresh brand new country opening up but anyway that's no this is good now at that that particular time like you were saying they were opening businesses like crazy they were giving money away to start businesses like crazy this was a legendary where that's happening not the most cautious but i knew the whole country was going through this change so i had to be creative just really quick i how to get to those factories so you know event i to observe multi and then i was brave enough to one of the things was like a ajax like the powder you clean dishes with sure so i had one of those and where you want to be and you want to be in a in a wild wild west atmosphere africa right now is going to be digitally let's get let's get out of here no i'm telling you because he and and she said clinic comeback and then we made or if you can clean so i was i was on a bathroom for three hours some people do a registered and just keep an had twenty years from now against the bill to happen to this guy and maybe if i do this did that you know this will help me down dirty hands but this is very good product you know it's made in our country it's it's made by our hammocks or this just just said what is this i said well this can clean anything you know hard stones and everything she and she said to me okay there's a we make coffee this uh-huh just receiving old any information and ideas you were throwing away in a in a and everything was just amazing so what i want to say is take time because i want to throw in a couple of bullet points of things i heard you say which because you you've touched on a couple of fascinating topics but please keep going what did you do you went under the and says look i have this cleaning product for the hands and i would like to offer to you i mean of course i cannot demonstrate because no nobody air in the offices it's another left personnel alright start talking to you and you just as we're not in the mood talk to anybody and then kaos bar steakhouse bar upscale stay governor anything and we will make it over and she said well you know i'm ready to go home i said well i've traveled fifty kilometers here too kinda give her the benefit of the product and then she said what else do you have i said well and i thought beginning i have five items five products and that's not picking him up for my backpack and it up and there was so much settlement there was like a one centimeter like maybe quarter of inch of of settlement like the heart stone uh i don't know maybe three thousand dollars wow that was huge huge order yes and and she said to me oh to demonstrate we have a good product and all this she said okay i'll stay over so we did order and the way how are really daughter was you know she she ordered nevertheless so i showed up the week later just make sure the order came she was happy you know and i said to her would you the cleaning thing it was so hard to cinnamon out and both probably around four o'clock and i finally cleaned up money there and you know i flip the page and i said to her well if you sign this paper and we can add stuff to order you know then favor if you can call somebody else into the auto factory next to you you know somebody there and we can place the order i make should the order with her on seven pilots and seven policy was like a lot of products i don't even remember what was the dollar amount value if you had to guess who believable that's my answer to you'll niaz go start business that's what i did a couple of bullet points that pop up to me are two maybe we can discuss describe today i'm thinking of is very hard to describe how divorce and is you know this countries in places nevertheless came to there and and talking to this lady the the thanks for the hands because she had to so it was five thousand items and the second page instead of carbon copy i put cars which were working for the company and the and the owner of the company which you're producing this cleaning products call me are you taking care of so she did she go and i went to the auto factory i may not order there and this is how i started the business he's in eastern europe that had to be like you could buy like a car or a house for that or something like that three thousand dollars while it was more than i mean it can do a lot of things car and and and you're gonna have whole country for yourself because i fired everybody so there's always started i don't think the average american has any idea what it's like to live other places not to mention how lucky we are with with the things that we link it comes from here and they're true geniuses on this not necessarily the products that you have strong brand are good or strong products you know just doing working for one company so vinai produced that month the auto i sold more than three full-time cells people form clean uniform and some order of products once a month and that was the communism kind of you know sitting still coffee what do you call it the the metal thing you make coffee tea kettle cuddle yes she said look at that and kenneth clean it so i opened the make educated purchases before somebody's been dollars the they usually educate themselves before they do that if it's cars jeans in a future episode or what was it like to live in a communist country period and then also when the change happened what was the change like sister diamond carbon copies you know they used to do for you know no mobile phones no pagers no none none of that i mean he's just i if you wanna make a phone call to somebody rents because in europe for instance the people don't really care about a lot of brands they care more about the you know the quality because people i will say cultures their latin cultures are black belts their absolute experts at living in the moment la dolch evita right tayfun we we had no other ways and pay on was like one you know the phone booth per village on field i'm in the city very hard aim items that everyone around you has how about starting to try you know instead of doing coffee maybe add ice cream or gelato or could you and then you see them recoil like go and buy it make that move but when they do they feel comfortable they know they did the right decision they don't doubt and dave or do they never do garage sales because yeah yeah and she goes like any cleaner i hardly could put my hand in it she said well there's water in the bathroom right it was one o'clock for example new greek yogurt shabani you're serious just just the experts on the branding and that is also related to people how the consumer so like the good life it's we're not that great in the united states at slowing down and being with each other in the moment and enjoying the this this copy will stay here with you just you just look at it and she said okay let's review again to order so she i basically closed but then as we get to know each other better he will or she will complain my businesses going down the economy's not good m- occurrence the currency is not healthy american attention on innovation the iphone six seven eight nine ten we have to have a new iphone every year there's a something about american culture that makes us whatever it is they always they're not impulsive buyers you know there are more like a educated buyers and takes time for them to really a special maybe we should consider selling something different than the two people that are on your within the person on your left in the person on your right instead of offering the exact same iphone which i technically bought this new to me i bought it this year in april but the fact is i don't really need those shiny things and i'm not a person of material stuff same exact thing for the same exact price and the cafe owner will be happy and personal and take the time to get to know me want to improve improve improve and change and latin culture off and i think the focus is on enjoying in the joining the moment and both things we can learn from both things and i still was not affected enough to change DNA and i did i have to have everything and latest things so you know i come outside we just think sparky and the come to her office and she looked at me and she said i thought you left i said no he told me to call you you know i'd rather do something else instead of the money then then spend them on something i don't even use an the value is not there so i don't you know the quality may not be there but the the way how they branded and they make multi billion dollar industry out of you know something like this ah coffee or that glass of wine but we are really really good at finding something that's working okay and making it better yeah this is what i want to just say this is awesome because i think if he keeps going doing this weekend maybe inspire somebody heal africa and start you know using our manuals and do please come back and she said please come back next month we cannot repeat this right so this was the biggest order i i mean in that nineteen years old and the eighty do you really think so i think so and i think the italians have the best coffee so we could just create a peace treaty between the two countries and he said just come to the company next week you're going to get a car i said oh well i don't really want car he said no you're going to become to be employee and you're going to go oh my god i can't change anything i just did now no it's okay i'll just keep everything the way it is i'm i'm happy in the moment so he's looking for the news the latest model and and has to have it like my iphone is five s. e. people laughing at me because i have old in from france and which one is it it is called doce salata oh yeah yeah well you know it's it's here in downtown really nice restaurant can you know read my paper and have one of amazing cappuccinos and he just kinda glares out me like dude you can't sit here all day yeah you need comparing to let's say two different continents countries and and it's it's for me it's i'm living so it's it's interesting you i'm so glad that you have created the space and naples is going to be you know ten percent happier now that we have this this place somehow we compete with them okay never mindless no i like what they do they have their own clientele to people go there for years i mean then maybe we would win you know and actually there's a restaurant here in naples that does italian coffee and they they shipped their pastries you saying it but i understand exactly when you don't come up you know sometimes people just forget that they do need some of this stuff and they come to the way i don't know what to do right and i might suggest an american as i am you know some improvements like maybe we should do yes i i think that in often when i travel i'll see cafe next to another cafe next to another cafe everyone is selling the come to enjoy coffee and conversation and good relationships that's awesome well i just want to wrap it up because even talking over our and something we may be boring some people money too and i'm thinking like you're from italy do you know the deal this is what you know this is the thin so he for years he was kind of tough you kind of looked at me funny and cuts sliced in front of you the place to go to he's kind of grumpy bastard to be honest i know there's etonians it's like i camp out there sometimes and yeah i got it i mean united states is great on on branding this country and the whole idea brent yeah i agree with you yeah i mean different cultures and different countries will offer an experience different things and you know speaking of iphone like an open the business and start selling that was my first thing so what i did was i i found because the company appear with our with our with the way americans think just the way we think about commerce is like we were talking

"Apple yeah i try to wear the same thing or combinations of the same things every day why keeps life simple less to think about reserve bandwidth for the and try to move around a little bit and i'm a big daily routine guy are you yes really everday is pretty predictable okay so we're gonna keep him alive here yeah his the book is written by a woman named patricia highsmith she wrote a book called talented mister ripley okay cool soviet days ago and we had this immediate chemistry click enemy decided to start down doing podcast maybe we'll be able to help some orders i'm to be personality on our podcast own his own show here and i will let him introduce himself how's it going this is freddie when i w i i like to wake up in the morning we dead noise just just the magical kazakhstan right and maybe we will create contended will be never aging and somehow freely will become to be history figured being right in many many things so it because we just keep me keep me incognito so i'm very familiar with that we didn't voice noise or wherever USA roosters are my thing to try when i'm doing my best daily routine is key you know well it's interesting oh so you very organized very methodical i would say right really have you know somehow exposed you know your stuff but i just wanna say something about freddie here he came to the coffee shop view maybe a year ago yes i came in and out for three years or so i'd come in for a month and out i was traveling full time for three years outside the country thirty day how do i start my day yeah well i try to wake up with the sun like jason do you agree with that yeah you like can you hear the roosters i've roosters out outside of my place so i hear the roosters next door start to do their thing uh-huh waking up and everybody knows this voice is rich behind a mic and this divine naples podcast saw let's say your name is freddie what did you choose that freddie miles in gaza former broadcasting beginning this talk adults and today we have i would say another guest because you will be nov that's nice try pretty so you you started your the early the needed one jim well yeah on the good days i go straight to the gym uh-huh just just kicked on and let me ask you just want to introduce you a little bit and very coming from so sounds good open and very interesting and i just immediately thought it would be a nice to you know make records over that so let's keep this going so you moved to naples government based i can't discuss freddie come on you're the secret edward snowden excuse me but yeah hoop in naples for a while as stop on my way to hawaii okay yeah i was based in hawaii for a long time based human based like a for next decade or something who knows who knows i'm always open to what comes next but for now this is home okay so legislate keep it the and things well these this is very click the chemistry's there just very interesting i have to tell you the conversations that we had here are so sounds some successes some failures hopefully you're always failing forward oh that's interesting thought oh well if you do it and make sure you put your hands so on my way out west stop in naples i had some family here and i just kinda fell in love with the place also so now you're gonna this is gonna be your destination freddie hawaii's that they'll be about this character what is it this is not your real name so we know that right freddy is a character in one of my favorite movies and books think to go back and business or what do you think you know yes i think i'd like to get back into commerce but i want to do it smarter and mojo simple but make sure people know a little bit more about you so you had a few businesses right very successful businesses now you've kind of trying to rediscover yourself necessarily harder okay working from anywhere around the world optimizing ourselves for health and wealth probably yeah you want to fail small and win big every go so now people really getting a little glimpse of talk about anything you want lifestyle entrepreneurship is my specialty living life with working smart smarter um more enjoyable way each time oh that's cool let me is in no time is that i've got eleven thirty okay good soy's after lunch cast one of the previous podcasts instead of going south i just took a write in an ended up here what do you think about our podcast the podcast is self convinced fresh ideas maybe detox whatever you wanna call it right so now is the time we feel life where are you trying to find this second breadth right yeah i've had ups and downs that's my cue to get up time to get up now everybody knows everybody listening to this podcast on DNA delivered casino i grew up in a village somewhere we don't say the country about interesting thinks that near objectives on on issues that are happening maybe they'll be happening maybe people maybe help business owners because first cup of coffee i'm really sitting here having a cup of coffee and having this conversation so let's talk about lifestyle what do you think about naples lifestyle general in in this ration- that is living working in places let's talk about different countries that he experienced and let's compare lifestyle here europe asia you chilling downey sunday you here divine april's coffee shop probably feel good i wandered in this morning i felt i felt the actually i stumbled into your offi believe it or not in coffee shop i've been moving since six o'clock this morning and setting annabel helping and donating some coffee to local church so you all are going to be really interesting so you had to sell your business we don't do any more details than that and you just end up jobless are you and some different places what do you think i agree it sounds fantastic so what what is your favorite country let's start with this oh man that's tough one time but anyways so italy yes can i ask about this coffee because it's fantastic is it turkish because it has an interesting so eighteen sixty two first coffeehouse into all opened in in vienna they invented roasting machine and they strictly they strictly i sound like i'm selling something just have nothing for sale nothing nothing nothing to gain vis either so it's twelve thirty this is my first cup of coffee in australia so the coffee you can tell comes from three countries the arabic countries we don't know origin because they don't yes so what's your favorite preparation style well we jump from the lifestyle in italy to me and having coffee because of the stanford quality and quality of the podcast is one of the things too so we are happy to be able to serve you too coffee the coffee is roasted a us only are becoming and what that means is the coffee is the highest quality can probably find involved the very strong there's no bitterness them up there so people can listen but you know we wanna keep the podcast interesting with different subjects and i want you to be part of the one podcast of ican we can thank you have a lot to offer and and you know your experience because he traveled the world and you fairly young you know it's just amazing and i my opinion is pinks incredibly well done you it's it's so well done it was a little intimidating to jump on this i thought we would just hang out and talk about whatever so it's nice well the couple of favorites i would say i'm attached to sicily so it'll realize that's part of italy but its place there's no after two days there's really you can you can taste a lot of fruits and and the coffee is very high quality so we are happy to have this coffee listener i'm sure mad you'll be very happy to hear that you know he he put a lot of our survey that with me and we have over three hundred shows you'll be eh just we can create a lot of all you for young business owners here or even older business owners here in naples florida so let's just start with this subject traffic is julius minal we finally got the first brennan coffee shop which is jewish brandt they started yeah well yeah you you've ever been there yeah it's a it's a pretty amazing place so it has so much history because it has the african invasion the greeks were there for interesting we're not on a different topic because lifestyle in italy is all about coffee that all that's true that's true so if he culture okay my version but of course i'm not following the perfect i'm not a perfect example because i don't follow the instructions which comes to instruction manual and that is the daydream or you know talk to your friend but you need to turn off on and sometime i up here you'll like it from now you're going to be coming more often you're going to get detected and plus we are happy you like our podcast finally have i you know you cannot surprise your knowledge of history then forget about turks turks are everywhere they kind of they they nailed holier say then is roasted in italy or austria but it's family owned business five hundred employees generations so it's really interesting shoe grounded and stays there for five minutes before it starts sinking so you know it's it's amazing coffee depends how i feel during today just you know sip the the the coffee that drape there in there but if i need a little jolt you know two three expressive during the day at that would be my thing a long time and also the foresee italian so it's just a fascinating what about turkish you forget about the turks were in there to make sure we are clearly we know our study you need to take fifteen and offer fifteen minutes when drinking julius mine and just you know just kind of you can star in the wall and just version of it okay so it depends on the coffee so let's say we have these vena blend that is the drip and i love because it's very smooth he can drink this day and sometime i have to of course he thought he doesn't have been so they roast coffee because they know they have a lot of good women there so shortsighted parsley in italy and partially in to stay on the break because i drink too much of it and the espresso being just straight express all you know it's amazing the kremlin top you and he'll leave and people are sitting here coffee shop and this is going to be very interesting

"Whole. Told me to think about something next on the spigot. Of that. Would you say that back? I love you to death. Okay. On the largest lake in Florida is lake oca- Ciobea. That's another one here. Here's here. Get this. Miami installed the first Bank automated teller machines, especially for rollerbladers. I was thinking the drug dealers. Like eighties, the whole thing movie out, but chino and everything maybe because of them. Yeah. They needed money in the middle of the night. Whatever you think of all later rollerbladers, you think south beach or whatever. And then sometimes I don't pronounce these right? Here's another one Isla Morada is ended. I say that right is billed as the sport's fishing capital of the world. Well, have you ever been there? I've never been there. Well, I've been there several times and go to keep us several times a year because I've friends there, and you know, I what I did was did snorkeling and also Isla Morada the can swim the dolphins. It's fully inexpensive in and you know, you have this because this island between marathon and heavist. So you have very easy access to Mexico and a ocean beat out of like going difficult as so the. There's like easy access and snorkeling in Atlantic Ocean around Isla Morada is just breathtaking obsolete. Amazing. And I was there snorkeling once and the V into water even really early scare. I was freaking and I'm not enough of many things not that. I give you right. And I jump in the water, and and the like shortly like maybe six months before I was watching this movie. How they forgot the diver some are two divers somewhere in the middle of the water. They were like diving and this forgot about them. And they I don't know if you think it was a couple. There was true story. Yeah. So now this woman said go snorkel and she said she southern on the on the boat and just because the slow season. So it was only me another person and the, and you know, he into water away from the boat. And it's like, okay, if she thinks right now, just like in the movie number one and number two, you know, just like nobody's. Around on the U, nobody. So if two people there, and I was thinking, okay, if shark comes I got fifty percents being eaten because there's one more person next to me fifty fifty. So I, you know, it's like people fifteen people there's a lot more on a menu. So, you know, he think. I'm not the most one of the up sitting here. So nothing happens. But those things it goes through their mind when he's like seven o'clock any morning into water, and there's just absolutely quiet, nothing and woman sleeping in the boat. So you know, she doesn't even pay attention. If you live. Like your new start swimming, two miles away the Quran. Thank you away. And she goes like, oh, maybe David just back to the shore. But interesting to us to own older person of each bit. You know, had no experience in as snorkeling star observing. Gold is colorful fishes and those beautiful soundings right in the water. And now, I got called come here. Come here come here. Like, the, you know snorkel in mouth, and you can imagine to sound snorkeling mouth. And and, you know, just come here come here. Look at this look at this and right in from that person's face. I'm not gonna say female or male over never. It's just there was big fish discovery, look, right? And it was just like maybe two feet away and just just still into water. Like, no, what kind of fish and staring in the goggles of that person. And that person. Point fingers, look at this beautiful fish and swim away this baracuda. And they go after shiny objects, right then and they never Tagoloan. So they're more a good soul. My gosh. So you know, I just say just just him away from this didn't wanna scare that person. And you know, the luckily survived over thing. But it was really freaky feeling when you know. So just want to remind you go alum Morada, it's great experience, but big abode vers more of a meal on the boat. So you part the menu the only menu item be surrounded by many friends. Yes. Yes. Take all the friends you like to stay on the boat and Veith, no fun. And I really enjoyed it. Anything else? You know, just to tie this into divine, Naples dot com and everything when you come and visit Naples, these places are just a few hours away. Yes. And you may want to plan within your vacation, you know, hitting up one of these destinations. Everyone is fabulous. I mean, if you like to fish, I'd suggest going out to the world's most what number one fishing spot in the world that says Isla Morada, maybe you're into science, and you like, you know, spaceships and all that type what about Dali museum in Tampa or Clinton. What whatever that is. It's it's just so much Florida has to offer and we have to pay respect on the birthday. I'm glad he did that awesome. And I want to end with one fact all I'm hold on. I have fact in from me, I going to test you too. Okay. Right. So I just ended right now. Say that for all you sports. People Gatorade was named for the university of Florida Gators where the drink was first developed now, it's not true. No. The Gatorade is actually water. What they recycle into gator swim in it. Forget that. They found out. There's some special thinking of new drink at eight helps you take on your animal spirits spirit. I'm glad he took the polls ending two periods. Well, I have some questions about also related to Florida. I wanna test to you now. Okay. Uh-huh. So, you know, some buggy racing is only one place into all right? And we talk about it on Friday show and that places here in Naples, Florida. Yeah. And you will not see any swamp buggy racing anywhere else in the in the world. And we are glad we have somebody commending for us. Do you know what year they started believe it was seven years ago? Uh-huh. Uh-huh. I have to do mouth. That'd be come on. On. It's. What? Now, people have idea what the education, I know. I know I knew it's at the end of rattlesnake and call your no, you people know, you have idea Mets, you know, Mufamadi of skills are the greatest. That's why I'm here. It's nineteen nineteen there you go. Yeah. Teen age. It's a long time in my right? And none of interesting fact from Miami taupe, those to chew cities have interesting alls. I knew it was I don't I just know that Tammy is from that's to Miami. That's right. So there to names or sandwich together. I like saying well the way I have to admit actually, I never thought of that. But the debts. That's absolutely, right. Tom yami? It's Tampa on my thank you educated me. No. I have me you set the plate. Yeah. Well, that's all the food things coming eater plates. That's her two of us. Right. So those those cities are connected with one road in stomach trail also called the US forty one and it took thirteen years to complete right? Two hundred seventy five miles, right? And it took two point six million sticks of dynamite. And cold was. Ju point six millions sticks of dynamite about like, I think it was like three hundred twenty six thousand of them are lost. I don't know. You know, something is built like that. I mean to people takes the Homer, they do dynamite was probably in shortage in everybody's house. I think there was no shortage. And the cost was only aid to median dollars eight opening nineteen twenty eight amazing. This state has so much thinks tummy mutual ghost through the biggest Nacho park in the United States. You know, the most beautiful place where we talk about of Glades Cyprus. Cyprus and the talk about Indians and Thursdays. And you know, we just or Friday, and we just want to you know, bring to tension. Lot of different interesting things. So just wanted to mention that because it's connected to us as well. Not. If I is do, you know Marco island, you know, how many miles of the beach. They have Mark violence is it's it's I land, right? I have small island. Right. So give me the number. How many beach how many beach miles coastline? Yeah. We can beat yourself. I have no idea. So if used yourself like a whale. Yeah. You beat yourself. And that's it four miles for my four miles of the beach in Marco island. I'm surprised myself because this is really small island mostly residential buildings. You can walk from one end to another and you get eight miles on your own. You're crocs. Yeah. I don't think I'll be doing that. So none of interesting fact, and what I'm gonna rob. The is is a lot of people think Miami's stone crop Cup of the world. Right. Yeah. Do you agree with? No, why what do you think we have a lot of stone crab fisherman out here on this side and a gain Mattis? Correct. The Everglades city is this stone crop couple an Everglades city actually only have four hundred people living there. So just think about the maze. Yeah. Four hundred people and their cities called, you know, the couple city of stone crop. And now, this is interesting fact, you think home today and just let it sink right like the sink in different that you do too. But the let this sink in right? If this would happen to you this disastrous. So imagine they pull up the crops. They break their claws. Unday throw them back in the water. It's amazing that they can reproduce that. Right. Imagine. It's he mentioned, you know, you speaking when he's speaking you throw your hands all over all directions, you know, the coffees flying into sticky late. Yeah. Max so sometime I have the feeling like a good idea of to mega crop. And just take your hands off just that's Vate until the auto on gross. Yeah. And just about you get a little bit of peace in between. Yeah. Would be really interesting because you know, safety factors for me. For me, and for I don't need to burn up. Another computer. It's called public safety public safety soaking out for others. Yes. So that hopefully brought some interesting thinks into your day and also facts that you may didn't know and this out here and v bringing these values stuff to you ever single. Yes, I'm not that interesting person. Yeah. Yeah. And you had long life fangs here? We go with the age? No, I'm just saying long. Interesting life. There you go experiences and you know a lot of thinks that's what I think makes us interesting as we go out sharing our love for Naples and in the city, the county and the surrounding southwest floor area for from European perspective. And then from from perspective of the US and and before we can interact and your experience you have in that stuff and it's gonna be fun. You know, throughout this podcast that people can learn about who their hosts are, where they come from. And let's Dutch of at one question before we wrap it up. Wanted I ask you one question, what was the first thing, which stuck in your memory or your head, whatever, literally, keep you memories. I don't know stuck in your memory. You experience in Naples, Florida. First thing for me that stuck in in. I just loved driving when I first got here in. 'cause I drove out with all my stuff was the greenery in describing down seventy five and. And just loving that, but then getting off on the streets because I lived up in in north Naples when I first got here and just seeing the palm trees in all the the nice landscaping or whatever. And I said, this is unbelievable. I hadn't even got to the beach yet when I got to the beaches case over and I used to in the beach since I was on one hundred avenue is an avenue street. I'd you know me it's avenue is I would go to Vanderbilt beach, and we've talked about it before and just watch the guys play botchy ball volleyball. And I was like, I could live here the rest of my life. Oh, interesting. Now let me ask you what what was your first experience coming to Naples imprinted in your mom? Never first thing. I never forget then I got hit in night so I didn't see much because my airplane landed late night. So I got in the morning out and an explore surroundings of the farm and building that I lift in. And I came to the like the the pool, our on everything, and I seen lot of a lot of laundry machines and dryers. Well, there you go. In one room. Yeah, and I saw on coins, and I was wondering, why does mushy are there? And then I seen somebody coming doodle Andre, and I said to myself, that is really strange. Why would you put your laundry somewhere and just woke away, which we don't have in Europe? You know what I'm saying? Like you don't have long. Everybody has probably did about washing more. Yeah, the hang them up on eagle all in into creek, like laundry party old school. And I think it's time for our smart smart person, which is the pharmacies of the house because he still thinks v live in the trees in Europe and wash our clothes in go ahead and swing and from Jalen. I'm the in house pharmacists than I want encourage you to take vitamin d. What do we mean by that? We want.

All you know if you interested in something like that or have you didn't know what's going on. There's a thirteen acre historical side on museum. I think there are a lot of exhibits and they're carefully, you know what they wanna teach our show people about the life any Moccoli because it's kind of dry from Naples, and it's in downtown Himachal and actually forty four miles from Naples. So he's nice drive so many drive those forty four miles. You know, enjoy the ride is very peaceful and also is going to be close to Maria, and I'm sure you never been there. It's voice of visit. Yeah, just the town isolated in towns. Beautiful church, beautiful downtown, and there's always something something happening as well. But you know, this is just the one of the museums and and it brings us to the event that Matt, you know, have ready for you. I do, but don't you have a few events that you wanted to mention that before? They let me let me just bring some of the events because you know, I, I looked and today's Thursday, and so I have something for Friday. First of all. Day. It's interesting event in in the Barnes and nobles not to promote Barnes and nobles. But you know, again, it's local. You have to acknowledge it and it's called tabletop bottles when people play monopoly and and ODA board games in in in the bookstore started seven PM. So if you close to burns a novels, just go ahead and get funded some of the auto people and and maybe you know, a monopoly. I don't know if they put money on anything for money, maybe. Yeah, doubt it. But anyway, you'll find out because they do. I go as the play monopoly, I'll I'll stay out of that game with you. Then Friday, there's a rookery bay over free fun and no admission. And that is from nine AM to one PM. That is of also are one of our parks and you can play the reptiles and somewhat older. You know, any move learn about it. Baseball film is in f. GC you renaissance economy, they screen a film which is called field of dreams. And that is from eighty nine. If you never seen it maybe good idea, grab a friends and go to university campus at starts at two pm. That's awesome. And also, yeah, right. And also there's a heart and funny comedian Christopher Titus performing on Friday and Saturday, and that is off the hook, comedy club off, we love of advance vitro. Then you know, eve v already did a lot of. Lugging for them very good club to offend. So chicken chick upside Google for them. And you know, you may have extra extra things on Friday. "You know, it's important factor and the like to bring the subject this off who's began because we need to make up from, you know what's going on, realize we are creating what we have here. Yeah, right. Yeah. And part of our local economies, everything else that will be have to offer here. And that is also, you know, things like art museums and things of that nature. When it was the law, you learn museum. You know, it's been a long time. I think it's been about a year or more. I went with some students to the the holocaust memorial museum, which was really interesting, but that's the last time, but there's so many others out there. Yeah, you know, I didn't. Hocus museum is is interesting museum. Really close to my heart. You lived in Europe so you, you know the history behind that, that whole thing holy was affected by that. So you know, it's just something that a lot of generations still remember because there are still alive and a lot of people are educated enough because it's really close to their hearts and and -ffected their family. So it's very important part and very important museum. And I would like to invite everyone if in April to visit John. Absolutely. There's more I just that was the ask the question that was the last one that I visited, but you had chills on their body. I, it's unbelievable. I mean, just the the artifacts in the history and then you know, listening to some of the recordings that they have there. And now we live in a time where most of the people that lived under that atrocious, you know Nazism in in the holocaust or are really leaving, you know, they're, they're passing onto the next five. And the best thing was that I was there. Was the a lady that came in that told her her experience believable, Nizhny try to find something like that, but you know. Really interesting subject. I was interviewing the writer Debbie, and she wrote a book about the veterans, and I brought idea. And I think in this case is the same thing. If anyone has indefinably, someone will remember some events like this. They should just pick up the phone and every time to have a conversation and ask questions record, then you all. V deal or an Audi. Oh, because if those people go, we have no of businesses and no record in history, and so we wanna keep them because there will be in future, you know, parts of the wall will be under how that was, and it's really important to hear from people which experts they say the horses now. Yeah, it's it's different venue read that. Yeah, but it's different when you hear it back and I had the chance to hear stories from lot of people in the school and they came and they did their, you know, like little sitting down with kids and, and I thought he ever single time you do that. You have just chills. That's it. Yeah. So speaking of that, let's speak about art and there's a lot of music who's in on and the so it's not just beach. Pierre restaurants have a lot to offer here and you know, we invite everyone to do little research about museums and to come to our website and search for it be have a lot of fun tons of articles about museums and let me just bring you some of the museums. You know, there's cold air county museum organization for Naples, Everglades Moccoli, and some auto of places. And they have a nice website which is Collier's courtier, museums dot com and four locations. They from owning which is clear museum at the government center museum at the Everglades and PM museum of rubber ranch and also Naples depot museum or Marco island. Historicism. Yeah, we have a today. It's well, it's Friday that's related to the Mark. Wow. Well, it's okay. That's great. So for to go on Saturday, excuse me, ever museum has always something to offer..

I did something wonderful, always do, but put your five sense. Yeah, I put my since. Right. So let me just put this in perspective, the city, and you know the whole county is full of a lot of retire CEO's. Lots of a lot of them and a lot of like higher management people. Right. And then you see there's a one store or new store coming in. You just wondering, give the CEO's start leaving Naples, for example, perfect example calls goal store when. Yeah, when they build it vetoed a chairman and see all of calls lives in Naples, and and I might a lot of those people, but they always prefer to go to local businesses in this great though. Yeah, they want you to shop there star, but they're themselves go and use local businesses because I know a lot of them and they had prefer to go to small coffee shop. Offs on faith, they prefer to go to smaller restaurants and local is interesting. Like how does co- corporate world you know is built and they need all our power to buy their products and everything. But same time, all the CEO's and all the managements are just people and they have same Neath and they have same connection. Seven-day see somebody's doing above them to be on. That's what we try to bring here and businesses calling our of our podcast or recalling the businesses in our forth cost. That's where we explained what doing above and beyond. That's where we explain how much connection they have and how much passion they have in their business. We did it in poss-. So you know, it's really nice to know even the people that that believe in something else, their behavior, same like everybody. VR just people, and you have a saying that people buy from people. That's right. And they are people buying from people every single day and they just wanna have the connection is wonderful. Then he comes to the business and somebody knows your name and the on your house, your hobbits. It's just become to be addictive. Yeah, and and we know that I need build relationship and you know, it's mutual. You like the service. They like to provide the service. It's almost like you when you come to the office and if I'm early which you know happens often. Yeah. And your coffee's on the table? Yeah. And what I say mister, Kenny, your coffee's ready? Did I say that's how it feels kind of feeling. You have an happens. I feel the love the, that's how the business people feeling in a business. So let's keep it local. Let's support our local businesses and and do some commerce with them because it helps all of us in the helps grow the local economy also create more local jobs..

Right thumb, right gas was the inch zinze. We don't use centimeters. I get it. Easter's thumbs. Mine isn't a. That's what I'm saying. You've used the your, Tom's you. Deliver the ready? Yeah. The only exploded into previous episode, your own the phone, for example, right. I haven't been on the. I've been explain thumb is basically one enshrined and then you're so if he is like six, four autumn, something like if you use your own four inch screen, the earth is not in its hall screen. Well, there you go. Yeah. So people know. Relatively small hands, but. I don't know what you're doing, but yeah, so talking about my anatomy on a daily basis. Well, I need to bring your you know your body out out there from the studio, painting a picture for people. That's okay. Everybody who's that might not be too accurate? I didn't say this anyway. That's how I see everybody different. Actually, it's true. You know, when you think about it philosophy, everybody sees through a different color. Let me use a different color glass. Let me just say one more thing going back to the measurement system right here in this country. So everybody using metric system you guys use onces and the pounds and whatever, whatever the most confusing things for people it is so they can teaspoon. They can buy more, but they're only chew places where you use metric system, and that's the places where they want to be really accurate and didn't wanna screw up. You know what it is now in the hospital, an army. Well, there isn't it funny, that's true. Funny I mean is not funny, but it's interesting. It's more accurate. Probably more more of an equitable more more better system. I guess maybe it's just a pride thing, but I'm into pounds. Right? I know don't save like pound canton cake. What would that means? Pound cake. Give you the pound cake, having I know there's cake, but why. White cake, maybe weighs one pound you ever picked on up? No, I think I think pretty nets cake is pretty dense. Made you know butter. I know what they call it punky I don't. I do right because when you eat the cake, you get a pound. All right. "But I think you wanna share a little bit about. And tell us about the the guy was there used to be. We do. You know, he's a Canadian comedian and he's done the circuit. It's really awesome. And just that's another shot out because we do have a lot of people from other countries that come here and he's done the whole gamut when we've talked about late night shows and he's been on Conan and and he was on the last comic standing. And so anyway, you know, just going to be and you could probably you know, sometimes I just here's a recommendation or some educational aspect if you're not really familiar with a particular, you know comic or semi that we recommend can always hit up YouTube or whatever. Push on c. whatever you know he's done and and maybe you know his style of humor, whatever. And if it jives the clicks, you know then go see, yeah, I think it's our from twenty two dollars. So very affordable and comedy club of the hook up to one hundred seventy five because you're going to explain some of the great things voice coming. Yeah. There's other food and stuff too. The they offer food and packages, and there's food kitchen. You guys can enjoy. You know, the the nice evening if you just like feeling blue or and this is not the v of yours, your spirit up with some laughter away. What I just he's laughing at me because I have a tendency to just dictate a lot using my hands even in this studio, looking up into the sky right now, but do you even my hands? No, the the stuffy. Euler up lifting like now now now on the chest. Yeah, that's what it looked like. Anyway, all the hook here, but we digress. So let me just say all of the comedy was opening two thousand five. I remember day opened Marco island and it was very small comedy club, but the very known and what you're is that two thousand five. Yeah, that's when Wilma came screaming through and they, you know, they've been known for comedy and just gonna Mark Weil and this long drive. So I think it was very smart move for them to come to Naples and and pick up that location on under booby-trapped. It's awesome and airport. So if you guys over the public, is there they're right air in the corner behind a mobile Gus station. I hope still mobile because they changing all the time and it's really nice building and really nice inferior and and just just it's really nice go up and they over two times they've been in existence, they actually introduce, you know, the the comedy to Naples with some of the really big stars. And just for interesting factors that that of the comedy club was the very, very first clump that booked, Tom green. And if somebody. The very first time Tom green got in this club talking was, and that's not a Canadian. What was the Naples? And then also featured people like jackass, Steve o dude. Jim check Getty mentioned going into show on, see him there. We also my goes up Steve. Yeah, that's just Ed would be off the hook, right? It would be so so you know, not a people like paulie shore, Carlos Mencia. Chris Catan my favorite. Gabriel Inglesias crowded. Eddie Griffin and ended dick and actually No. I was. Months ago to and Tony Hong and just many others like Louis out under sun and Tom Arnold Jackie Manson, some reading Chong, bro. That's from chieftain Chong. Yeah, I don't know. I dunno guys probably know better share with you after the after this show, bro. Yeah, cracking up. Well, then you know, this is the only comedy club that'd be have it's awesome.
