"It's good. Co sponsors rep. Charlie crist democrat. Florida and nancy mace republican from south carolina legislation that If they pass it would create Pathway for britney spears in other people to replace their private guardian or conservator so it basically It argues for more accountability. It argues that That we need more data on the stuff. Like you're saying how like no one knows how much money is tied up in this. No one knows how many people are trying to get out of these. Yeah there's just like it's it's shockingly i don't want to say willy nilly because that's probably not fair but under studied served yeah under observed for sure so as of now in order to get out of a conservative ship you have to prove fraud or abuse that is has occurred to have that be replaced and this bill would kind of roll that back and say it doesn't necessarily have to be abuse or fraud. It could just be that. They don't aren't comfortable with it. Their emotional wellbeing is not being a matter. Whatever and just to make it a little bit easier to free someone up from these conservatives ships and so we'll see that was There was one a few years ago in twenty nineteen. That didn't get beyond the house judiciary committee but everyone's kind of thinking with all this attention right now because britney spears case that they might have a little momentum to get something like that done. Oh yeah big time. There's the free act by the way. shady acronym has no freedom and right to emancipate from exploitation act. Okay all right. I can respect like bending over backwards a little bit to make that work. That was all right. Okay i think chuck also one of the reasons why they They have aired to this point on the side of making it more difficult to remove. A conservator is because they've kind of There's like a this. Maybe a suspicion that you could have a fight or a falling out or something like that over something totally unrelated to the leadership and you know the person can be now. The person could be like this. You're not my conservatory. Mar on you out of my life or whatever and the person might be great as their conservator and it might be a really good conservatives ship but it just you know there was that that moment or that falling out so in that sense it should be made difficult but then on the other hand it's like is that really the way we should be airing. Should we be airing toward away from the the rights in the desires of the person whose whose life and responsibilities for their life has been taken away from them. Like shouldn't that shouldn't they. At least have the right to choose. Who's calling the shots for them. Who's making those decisions for them. And i think ultimately i kind of lean toward the the rights of the individual. Yeah meet it also makes you wonder about you. Know if they're let's say there's no kids involved in it's a case of Someone of using drugs or something like is an interesting slippery slope to think about whether an adult has a right to throw their life away. Yes and make bad decisions or whether or not it should be legal for someone to be able to step in and save somebody. It's like that's just really feel about. It's just an interesting thought experiment. I came across something called the the right to risk. Where basically it's exactly what you just said like everybody has the right to just blow it completely including a fortune including fame including You know alienating loved ones doing whatever you want to ruin your own life that you have that that right but i think the law recognizes that there are some some mental states That a person can can enter to where they wouldn't otherwise want to do the right. And i think that's what the people under who are running brittany's conservative ship are saying that like britney isn't capable of keeping people who would unduly influence her twos to throw her life away at bay she can't keep those people at bay. She doesn't understand documents as she signing. And then there's whispers or a like hushed rumors of like no the real reason she'll probably being a a a permanent conservative ship is because there's some diagnosed mental illness that is just sealed because it's a medical record right And that that's kind of like what gets leaked out on the conservative side so It i don't know i i think. Having like a an attorney that is of her choosing who sharp that is working for her and her alone getting into this really finding out. What's what in going into court. I think that that would be a that's a. I think that'll be a really. I'm interested to see what the outcome of that is. I don't see how that couldn't be a good step at least have more investigation done by someone of her choosing. Yeah because for years. Apparently her big problem was not with being under conservative ship. It was her dad being the conservative right and so he was co conservatives with a couple of people and she apparently even was fine with one of them for a little while but then They resigned because she said she wasn't fine with them any longer. And then now. It's just back to her dad being in total sole control so i wonder if like if her dad is forced out and it's just strictly like lawyers fiduciaries who are in charge of her conservative ship. If she would be like no this fine. I'm fine with this. I wonder yeah It's going to be interesting to see what happens with that in this legislation as they kind of go hand in hand absolutely anything else i got nothing else. Do you want wanna shout out. My pow babs gray Barbara gray and test barker or two comedians in la and they were in that documentary and have champion brittany's case for a while and they have a new podcast out and it's called they.

Many what have you found? Well, so I found that you know, we've had 75 or so members of Congress get Cove in in the past year, and they had wildly different experiences, so plenty of them were asymptomatic. We have Several members who are still kind of noticing affect a year later. Some of them have trouble going without the stairs talking too much they get really exhausted. Some numbers, you know, didn't notice any of these continuing symptoms or maybe didn't even have symptoms at all. More hospitalized when they were really sick on guy Think what we find is, you know, for those people who have seen those long term effects or there was really dramatic effect. That is, you know, affecting them a little, especially among Republicans. There's kind of more of a sense that they need Tiuna wear masks. Make sure they never got this again on Ben for some of the members who got through it, and they were fine. I think there's kind of more of a sensitive Oh, like maybe they don't need to be so worried about this ready to go back to normal. Good to talk to that said that the experience with covert was really eye opening Congresswoman Mace, Nancy Mace, so she Had already been following precautions had been careful, but she had this very dramatic experience where she was told that she should go to the hospital. But she couldn't make it there because she was taking care of her kids, one of whom also had Cove in On Ben for the several months after that she was dealing with this chronic fatigue. She also told me that you know, she to be an avid cyclist, and now she hasn't been back on a bike since last summer, and she's Kind of afraid to get back on that bike, because when she got on last time after having probe it, she found it was too difficult for her. So she was telling me you know that she Used to hear about things like chronic fatigue, and she kind of wondered like is that real, but after experiencing it herself, she's really, you know, convinced it's real. She's seen it firsthand, and she really wants to help other long haulers like her as we start to move out of the pandemic. So he came right home. He told me he went straight right down to the basement because he wanted to be sure Didn't want to get his wife sec and he took a test that weekend, a rapid test and it came back negative. So he thought he was fine. He was preparing to go back to the sea. And then he got a different test and it came back positive. And he said that was just, you know, a punch in the gut. And then he spent I think he said he spent a week you know, quarantining and his basement so he wouldn't get his wife back on D told me he was just, you know, really uncertain the whole time, like waiting to see what kind of symptoms would come up. Way. And then there's the Congressman Thomas Massey, who said he believes public health experts are well intentioned. But don't always give the public the full picture. What do you mean? Yeah, I think you know, he pointed Tioga comment from Dr Fauci, who Originally said, You know the vaccine. We need to be so effective to achieve herd immunity on Glater on said that he You know, he, you know, wanted to say a different number. Um, but didn't feel comfortable saying that number at the time. Now reparative Nancy Mace Republican whose office was closed, TOC says AOC story is not true. It was it was a serious serious matter. But let's separate fact from fiction. It's not true. Everyone was terrified. We were worried it was a harrowing, life threatening experience. No one questions that so is Nancy Mace, who was a great guest and all she was basically saying is the media who fawned all over AOC. After she made the Capitol Hill protest about her a moment where five people died. AOC didn't our on instagram and did her, you know, usual rendition of a O Me. Me. Me. Me? We don't doubt that She's scared and I don't want to diminish what you went through on any level. Take it very seriously because we were all horrified about what went on in the capital. But the media got behind her account of things falsely, which turned out to be false. She was not in the Capitol building. She was a 10 minute walk away in the Cannon house. Which was never breached by protesters or insurrectionists. Yet nonetheless, the media couldn't push a OSI's claim fast enough. Why? Because it plays up the threat of white ring insurgency. Here's Cliff 17. Congresswoman Alexandria A Casio Cortez has given a harrowing account of her experience on January 6th heroin and emotional account of what happened to her during the capital riot. Nancy Mays told her. She was scared, She said she barricaded herself inside her office. So she wasn't saying, Hey, AOC has no right to be scared of. How dare you be scared? She wasn't downplaying the claims of sexual assault survivors because she herself is a sexual assault survivor. As she said on her show, she has told that story. Because a lot of people who have gone on to defend AOC on Twitter because Twitter's were snowflakes gathered. That's why they kicked trump off. And that's why they keep conservatives off, etcetera. So one of the snowflakes says, I can understand. I'm gonna paraphrase I can understand where she's coming from. I was Traumatized. My heart was pounding and I was watching on television and Arkansas. This is a generation of people of which AOC belongs to that have been told that you should never have a challenge in your life. You should never have any obstacles to overcome. But Mike and I both know you know, the on leeway to grow as a human being is to face obstacles, the on leeway to grow as human beings to hear no On leeway to grow Zabeel over overcome that know or you're not. You're not qualified for this job, or you're not gonna get this job. You figure out where you're good enough. You figure out what skills you need. You lean forward and you move on and you grow. Or you just talk like a grown up like Nancy Congresswoman Nancy Mace saying, Look, I didn't want this fight. She's pretty else. He's pretty good at this, but I want to get back to work. Well, I mean, she's She's very good at.

"On the line, and it's a hell of a price to pay. Every single day, every show on his post good up when they go by, and large, the vast vast majority of these men and women All right. Do you send one of those people put themselves on. Why way over. What would you do with a brain if you had one? Yeah, the vast vast majority of these a decent people to your to memorial. You know, you're speaking out anyway, on behalf of two people have sacrificed their lives and he's flat out saying, you know. Most of these guys were really decent people. Like maybe you do feel in your heart. That there are some problems some bad apples. Within the ranks is the moment the solemn moment. We were supposed to be saluting people who've given their lives for this country. Is that also supposed to be a soapbox toe work in your agenda of they don't get me wrong. I'm not. I'm not praising all of them. Don't get mad at me on the left. I'm not praising all of them. This is what happens when you get a career politician and you get a media who wants nothing to do with holding them accountable. But essentially, what is he doing? He's having it both ways. He's getting the credit of the Biden is, you know so emotional here, the gravity of what's going on. But at the same time, let's not forget this and dirtbags out there. That's for the Democrats. That's for the Democrats were constantly slander the police just the way you see dead If you remember this. You'll see. In her heartfelt, you know, Instagram video where she claimed. To be stuck in her office while rioters were marauding outside the door. Wrong, Okay, As it turns out, South Carolina Congresswoman Nancy Mace, two doors down from a O. C was on our show, and she flat out, said No. They never breached the building. We were According to her math of 5 to 7 minute walk away from the breach at the Capitol 3/10 of a mile away. She was never near the rioters that being said she still went on and, you know Long speech impassioned plea on Instagram to impeach Donald Trump. She invoked the fact that she had been sexually assaulted, which, you know we're not gonna touch guy working Fox News. I'm not taking the bait of Questioning the validity of anything, she said. I have people in my family have been sexually assaulted. It's something I take very seriously, but what she's trying to do. Nancy Mace is say that Nancy Mace, who she herself is a sexual assault survivor, has no empathy for survivors. She doesn't know what it's like to be one of them, and she's saying that Nancy Mace. Is attacking the very police who protected them at the Capitol that day. By calling into question a OSI's account of events. She just said that she's saying that on Twitter right now, you calling into my account of what went on in the capital is an attack on the people who protected us this from the woman who attacked the people who protected them like that. Come on, listen to this clip from a house, a talking about the cop who comes into the room. And this is crazy. This is clip nine. So deeply rattled. I'm still processing took my life when I come out on guy come out. This man is a Capitol police officer. Story doesn't end. Um, it's a Capitol police officer. There was no partner. Was not yelling. You know, Capitol police, etcetera, etcetera. But then what? But then it didn't feel right because he was looking at me with a tremendous amount of anger and hostility. That was absolutely dreadful. So she's on Twitter. Saying how? How dare she? She's attacking the police by saying I'm lying. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, your lie is an attack on the police. Something didn't look right. We're not safe with the cops around. That's what she said. Listen, a clip 11. This is bananas Clip 11, Like so many other communities in this country, like just that presence doesn't necessarily give you a clear signal if you're safe or not. And so the situation did not feel okay. And then he just looks at me and yells at me, and he just goes. Go down and go to this other building. Um, I'm not gonna like name the specific building, but he basically says, go down and go to this building, but he just says the name of the building. Doesn't say anything else. But we're so rattled in that moment, and he the situation felt so volatile with this officer that I run over. I grabbed my bag and we just start running over to that building. So that's a oh say, slandering the cops. You know, Having a cop around doesn't make you feel safe. Like a lot of communities. I feel less safe in the presence of police because that's part of this narrative there invent they're advancing on the left with no basis in fact. That the police are just out there indiscriminately killing people. The police doing the most important job in society. The troops do the most important jobs in society. We owe them our thanks. We owe them our gratitude, but we also owe them some conversational integrity. When you have to choose between advancing a political agenda. Making a tragedy at the Capitol all about you is a OSI did okay. Five people died that day. But she wants the focus to be on herself who thought she might die. Now, To be honest, I don't dismiss her fear because, as Nancy may set on the show they were in fear. Nancy Mace has tweeted that she said it in every interview. She's done. Of course they were in fear. I don't know what the heck was going on. But if you're gonna go out there and tell us, the other rioters were stampeding outside your door. You're hiding in the closet, and then we find out that's not true. No one is dismissing fear. No one is saying the capital protest of riots didn't happen. What they're saying is you're trying to play this up for a little more cloud on your own end. But in the process you're now defending the same cops. You're attacking in your video. You're so dumb. You're really.

"You see the normal obituaries? Oh, my gosh. The Democrats are done. Oh, jeez. This time Republicans can't come back. Always. It seems two years later, the 1 80. Suddenly there's a new spin on things, but the one thing we hope we move forward on together. Is as a country and I'm hoping that those who are just slightly right of center and left the center and but the house in the Senate actually start to prevent a new kind of dynamic. On moving the business of America forward. It doesn't depend on leaders that are too beholden to the far left and the far right and Maura into the interest of average Americans. Yeah, and Adam, can I just follow up on that Because you make a really important point. I think in all of the chaos of the last week or so, we've sort of lost sight of the fact that Republicans actually did much better than expected in many races in November, including the House races. And certainly of the state and local level. So if you think about that, and then Kevin just made such an important point about, you know so many Republicans who may not like the personality of the current president, or the tweeting But they really are fiscal conservatives. How do you know Republicans in Congress looking at this bill come from the Democrats and the Biden administration. How do they thread that needle addressing a pandemic and the economic crisis were in But also maintaining their sort of focus on you know, we want to make sure that we're fiscally responsive. You know, Nancy Mace was just talking about the debt and the deficit and targeted packages. So how do you recommend? They do that? That's a great question here. Here's the almost too short answer. They don't make it personal. That Republicans move forward with the purpose of the country first and as long as they do that, and they stick more to politics than they do. You know, they're prickliness of politics they have, you know a lot of room to play here. And America's watching. I think it was a big mistake that we didn't come out with a bigger stimulus that went to the individuals in the last him Respect the big mistake. And I'm looking at you know, I was like, Wow, she that is a beautiful woman on she's a Republican, and she's on the TV. And so I figured you'd be interested in that I say, Look, look up on the screen there, Rob at the hot new congresswoman and You and Jacob both proceed to tell me that she's what, like a five or a six? No, we clarified. She's a Congress nine. So by congressional standards, she's a nine. But by broad ripple Sanders she's a five or six cannot. And Jacob is agree. Yeah, that there's nothing wrong with being abroad Arable five or six. But it's just not. We're not as enamored with her as you are. I mean, she's so pretty and then you were like, Well, all I see on your TV is the face. You know, I need a whole body shot. And so I go to look up other images of her and she is she is very well put together, and she even has big boobs. That's it. Yes, Go ahead. That's the photo that that's the still photos. That's the first one that popped up in the diaper name, and she looks good in that one. But when you just see her in action Without a lot of makeup on in the what they call the people who put the makeup on you. The makeup artists the makeup artist when she doesn't have that around, she's five. Wow, you guys are harsh. I'm glad for once someone else has to take the heat because I've taken it for years. And if I said this, you'd be average yet you're open What he has to say Open. I am furious with both of you. I think you're being absolutely ridiculous. She's absolutely gorgeous. In fact, There was one photo of her where she looks just like that actress Amanda Peet. Hold on. So if you guys know who Amanda Peet is now, you probably know I think Amanda Peet is hot. I would agree with that Amanda Peet of five or six, a broader, full five or six. Actually, I would disagree. So there's an effort. There's an episode of Seinfeld where the person is attractive based on whatever light they're in, right. Sometimes they're incredibly attractive. Sometimes they're not. I feel like this. This lady, maybe that it may be the lighting. It may be the plus staging. I just think you're being way too hard on such a pretty woman. She is a congressional nine. But that is a good rating. Wow. Okay. I got a question. Yes. So if she's a nice Don't know if this is going to spark outrage of I would like to know what you were great AOC. Yeah, Just take her politics out of it. Where do you see? She's a congressional nine. She's a congressional in a broad ripple. She's a six or seven. Okay, so she thinks she is more attractive. Well, she's she's got a bartender background, which means she could make a mean long island. So she moves up on the list. Look, okay, because I mean, in fairness, I also think AOC is attractive. I mean, I think objectively. She's an attractive woman, and she also has You know, she's put together. Fine. So, Kurt, Darling, it wants to weigh in. Obviously, we gotta get more dudes in on this conversation. God, do you know Nancy Mason's car, darling? I can't say that. I do. OK, Well, you need to look her up. And then you tell me. Are these guys being too hard on her? Or are they being how do you spell her name? It's just m A C. Nancy Mace. The fancy may social media accounts gonna be on fire today. She's going. Why in the world are these people in Indianapolis talking about me? And what did I do? I mean, she's pretty. Yes, Yes, That's right. Her darling. Hurt. You've been too broad ripple right a few times. Okay. If we were to do a scale of 1 to 10, and you saw her in broad ripple, what would you rate her? Oh, wow. I'm towing a fine line here. I would. I mean, I'd give her I'd say seven. Yeah, Okay, So she's right in the area. Right? There's there's there's a date. There's massive amounts of daylight between five and seven year old. Those things are important that we ensure that that folks who can cast illegal ballot Do so in those that cannot should not and and do not and aren't allowed to have those votes counted. And we're seeing it in New York. The house congressional race in New York 22 with Claudia Tenney. She was up 12 votes. Well, guess what? Somebody found a box of balance in a drawer somewhere. And there were 12. I mean, a month after the election, and so Many of these irregularities, and we're having a difficult time addressing right now in the moment, but we didn't know where they are, where they're happening so that it could be addressed. What doesn't happen two or four years from now, and that we don't have this happen again, and we're not panic. And if Republicans turnout in mass, I have full confidence in Georgia being able T O keep the Senate Republican hands even with everything that's going on. I truly believe that, but it's gonna take literally. News 75% Republicans a turnout on boat, Everybody's gotta vote. There's no doubt about that. And you mentioned covert and covert, hopefully is going to be on the wane very, very shortly with the with the vaccines being distributed, as you know, as we speak, and you had covert over the summer. Congressional races in the nation. The only full quarter I had to raise money and campaign and that's what was going on, and it was a debilitating illness, and I just said to myself if I have to live like this the rest of my life. I'm not back to working out yet. Um, I was a cyclist. I would I would get on my bike and ride several times a week, and I haven't been able to do that since I Since I got over, it has been very it's been a difficult and long haul recovery. Yeah.
