One woman is dead and another person is injured after a crash in a church parking lot in Chicago's four is Glen neighborhood. We don't know what prompted it, but police say a 22 year old man from Niles was shot in the parking lot of mirage at the corner of dempster and Milwaukee just after 1 a.m.. Officers responding to a call attempted lifesaving measures, but police say the man died at the hospital. Chicago police continue to investigate two separate shootings at injured two small children on the city's south side yesterday afternoon. It was shortly after 5 o'clock, a 6 year old girl and a 33 year old man were inside a home with two other people in the 6600 block of south drexel in Woodland, when some one opened fire. Police say the girl was shot in the arm and taken to comer children's hospital where she was listed in good condition. The man was shot in the back and taken to a hospital, his condition was not known. That shooting happened just hours after three year old boy was shot in the face inside a residence in the 8800 block of south Euclid avenue, just two miles away. Police say the toddler was taken to comer children's hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. Chicago police have not announced arrests in either incident. Veron black, one O 5 9 W BBM. Three men were hurt in a washing and high shooting last night, police said a man ages 24 37 and 38 were standing outside in the 1300 block of west 11th street shortly before 1130 p.m. when someone fired shots then ran off. The three men were all taken to advocate Christ medical center where the 24 year old was in serious condition listed, and the 37 and 38 year olds were in good condition, no arrests have been made. But since 2015, at least 14 of the Quincy homes veterans have died from legionnaires and more than 60 others have gotten sick, legionnaires is a form of pneumonia usually spread by breathing in small droplets of water in the air that contains the bacteria. A Chicago public schools teacher is arrested for stalking mayor Lori Lightfoot. 36 year old Garrett mclin is charged with two felony counts of stalking after a confrontation with officers outside of mayor lightfoot's home earlier this week. Police say mclin was arrested on the Logan square block where the mayor lives. He's also charged with disorderly conduct and several counts of resisting a police officer, sources close to lightfoot, say mclin has appeared outside the mayor's house on at least one other occasion. Channel 11 reports meglin is a physical education teacher and a track and field coach at taft high school. Mayor lightfoot said in a statement, no one, including an elected official, should have to experience threats of physical harm regardless of their political ideology. One O 5 9 W BBM. Chicago firefighters battled an extra alarm house fire this morning on the south side. Police say officers responding to a call about drag racing near 100th and Halstead saw a car hit a pole and then a wall before bursting into flames. It was just before 11 p.m. in Chicago firefighters put it out. Three people inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not said anything about another vehicle involved. An investigation continues in an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday for a Lake county jail inmate who had a seizure inside his cell. A review of the security surveillance cameras showed the 50 year old man walked into a cell just before collapsing and seizing. Officials say the inmate then stopped breathing, CPR was administered and a defibrillator was also used. He was taken to a hospital in Waukegan where he was pronounced dead. The Lake county sheriff's department said in a release, there were no signs of trauma on the inmate's body, and no indications of foul play. The inmate had been in the jail's custody since October on various weapons charges. Hundreds of Michigan state students and alumni came together to remember the victims of Monday's shooting on campus.
