They can go twelve personnel because they got to really good tight ends in iran and firemen with They can go thing. Go three tight ends if they want. I mean as because agent gentry. By the fact that i've been rosberg under center. A little bit in the preseason outing as back turned to the defense which is not something he does. So i think you know they're in and i also think the use of motion is gonna help najji harris and you know keep linebackers a little bit until and get them out of their fits. I don't know i. I think this could be an average enough offense and if the defense is anywhere close to what they were last year that there's a team that's potentially a wildcard team. That's great but let's be realistic here because whether it's teddy or drew and we don't know when they'll declare starter. Maybe they'll take the sean payton approach and do it sooner than later. I mean this is a teddy was better in this game. I think drew lock was better in the last game But tatty so far four possessions in the preseason three touchdowns in a field goal has weapons. Does this matter to you. It doesn't matter in a real way in terms of how you're drafting judy sutton fant and company. Because if it doesn't it does matter to me with jerry judy. I don't think that jerry. Judy can't break out with one and will break out with the other. Some astronomically wide gap. That where someone's on or off my board. But i do think that the style of play teddy bridgewater has matches. Jerry judy fantastically. It's it's what i just said it's a hidden stride on these slants across the field. His teddy bridgewater is accuracy is far better than drew locks. Think about jerry jones rookie season. He was always open. And you brought this up. many times. He had i believe the lowest or the the highest of second green of pass catching passes. Yeah of of uncatchable passes and and that was drew lock. So that's the difference to me. If if if jerry duty is getting open and not able to catch the ball because it's not put on him That's not good for fantasy. You want to be able to catch the ball. So he's the one player where if they came out tomorrow and said teddy. Bridgewater is the starter. Because i have based on last week. Actually finally i held off the whole offseason but last week i changed major. Lock the starter. So if they were to come out and declare bridgewater the starter. I would be moving. Jerry judy up okay. Let's talk about some running backs. Let's talk about nause harris. He had a huge forty. Six yard. rumbling Kinda surpri speed on the edge reception where it didn't look like. It was going anywhere and then all of a sudden he breaks down the sideline and i mean he stiff armed a guy Think broke another tackled manage to juke the safety who was like ten yards away from him. Now he's he's at twelve and part of that has to do with how fluid the new offenses in pittsburgh. Big been looks great. Yes they offense. Looks great so i think we should talk about a holistically here with pittsburgh but everything looks great in pittsburgh right now. We know the defense is going to be good and Now she's going to be the lynchpin in the backfield so it's just math. I mean he's a talented first round running back on a team that the offense is looking good and big. Ben looks good they you. Mike tomlin utilizes a three down running back in his. I can just pure volume alone. Najji harris should be drafted as a running back one then build up side of what. If he's actually the player that the steelers believe. He isn't and drafted him in in the first round. Yes the offensive line stinks. I get it but the volume was going to be incredible. Big ben's arm looks lively and that's just one preseason game but that throw the forty air yard throw deontay looked pretty solid the touchdown a passes were very strong to pat frame youth. The new new rookie tight end catch touchdowns. But i'm i've i've been all in on najji and this is like this is full confirmation bias to me i. I'm drafting najah with full confidence. And i'm drafting him. In front of a lot of other running backs i am side of my top digging dodgy or i would champion. I would technology harris over antonio you knew where i was going. Yeah and i can tell you why if you owe me a climate inside the recesses of mike's enormous head yeah you can get lost echoey. Let's hear mike is more confident in third-down snap for nausea harrison. He is for antonio one hundred percent. It yeah jk. Dobbins in gus edwards. They split time over the first three drives in the ravens second game. Each had four carries. Gus has been in our sleeper category of the ud k. for awhile but dobbins a third round pick gusts in eleventh round pick. Dobbins is the better player physically talent wise why he was drafted higher. You see it on the field He's going to get the he's gonna get slightly more work than gusts For sure he's going to end up with more fantasy points swimming. Both of them are healthy. But that gap is wild. I don't think the dobbins is being overdrafted. I just think. Gus is being left for dead in the tenth round. Where you've got a guy who's going to touch the ball enough to be fantasy relevant a lot of weeks for the ravens marking rooms out of the way. He's got the touchdown opportunities to so i. "Lynn played in that as a player. So theoretically could call that kind of offense if he wanted to And my see is that the lions the one good thing they have is an offensive line. So they're probably gonna need to lean on that a little bit maybe andrea swift grinds out a bunch of tough yards this year and ends up at the top of the top of the board. I liked that connor as we've discussed often on the show got steel with pennzoil Let's let's let's give our teams are. It can be super bowl. It can be just and any team accomplishment. Super bowl isn't what everyone has to win this year. That's the way it goes time. Although i think we all pick super bowl odds so yeah you have to win the super bowl to be worth anything I'll go first. And i am going with the steelers at forty five to one here and it just doesn't really add up. I feel like. There's such an overreaction. To two things with a sealer team number one the ugliness of their playoff loss. Although i think if you were to simulate that game i don't know one hundred million times across the multi-diverse you would not find another instance where the game begins with mark eastbound c. snapping the ball into his own end zone so i think he can kind of throw that out but overall i think. It's just kind of overreaction to ben rothlisberger who by the way is not particularly slimmed-down but that's okay. He was never very slim throughout his career. But everyone's kind of treating him as incredibly limited quarterback and yes he is not like the all world throw the football that he was ten years ago. But he's not a guy who you have to say like well you know in order to get him comfortable. We can only do this or this or you can have an expensive offense with him. He might not be the kind of high velocity downfield Sort of you know. Deep intermediate thrower that he was earlier in his career but he can still get the ball now field you saw when they needed it and when they came back beat the colts or even in that playoff game when they had to come back and score a bunch of points against the browns. He'll get the ball downfield. So i think it was just a matter of kind of holding him back all season to limit the number of hits. I don't think you'll see that again this year. We know the defenses great. They're probably going to have more of a running game this year. With with najji harris joining the backfield. There i just. I think thirteen that's built to win it and they've won it before with this coaching. This quarterback and i think forty five to one is a little bit a little bit too long for my taste. Yeah gary i was really surprised by those odds as i was going through i was also surprised and thus picked accordingly that the patriots were thirty five to one and i think. Also another of an overreaction something that happened last season which in the patriots case was their first season without tom. Brady wasn't a seamless transition. But quietly has become the all time leading rusher in the history of alabama. That's really something. And if you think about the sec title game he ran for nearly two hundred yards and accounted for five touchdowns in fact if you wanna look at the history of college football and some of the great offenses think about that. Sam bradford team at oklahoma. Woody throw five touchdown passes. I think it was fifty five touchdown pass think about joe burrow last year. And that offense at lsu. He and devante smith became the first pair of teammates in history to each score twenty touchdowns. Now that stuff isn't noticed when he does a lot of blocking a lot of pass catching but the argument can be made. You're not gonna win it. Because as i said the quarterback and the receiver got more love. But you can make an argument. That harris was the mvp of alabama this season. And you think about the ability to balance that offense you know you blitz. he's going to go out for a pass you. Don't he's going to run it down your neck. So just a shot from a man. "We welcome in chris during Who gives us her. Quite a look ahead to tomorrow's game. Chris in most years florida hosting lsu of the sec this week. It's been pretty quiet. I am curious as you know those two teams so well especially from florida side What what are they thinking as they get one of their bitter rivals in a bitter rival that they are a prohibitive favorite. It is weird. Isn't it paula. Me and thinking back to win. This game was originally scheduled. I thought most lsu people felt like we're gonna get a chance to play later in the year we'll get healthier. We'll get miles brennan back. We'll be in better position. And i would argue that. They're actually in a worse position now than when they were originally scheduled in october. So i it's kind of a weird dynamic with a lotta florida. Fans looking forward to sec. Championship game next weekend for me. This is all about. Florida has nothing to do with their opponent. Lsu it's about getting right offensively full full-fledged dress rehearsal right costumes everything. Let's go for what we're gonna do next week. I i honestly been kind of disappointed with florida's offensive performance. The last three weeks dating back to the vanderbilt came. Because they just look inconsistent. They look like they walk through a haze periods of time. They look like they're not executing and part of it's their own fault for looking so good against arkansas in the second half and missouri against georgia. We set the bar pretty high for them but focused level has not been there for a full sixty minutes. I want to see all fence. Get back to executing at the level. They were early in the year defensively. Let's get some things shored up. Let's figure out how to keep from giving up these long passing plays. Let's get generate some more pressure on the quarterback. Let's be able to to penetrate and stop the run something. I thought they did. Well against tennessee last week but The thing i'm gonna keep my paul. What are the numbers for. Kyle trask because obviously this is a game as you said against a A bitter rival one. That beat florida by fourteen. Last year florida's got a chance to return the favor but they also have a chance to outduel in back to back weeks what mack jones get did against the very same defense. And don't think that winning the heisman trophy is not something that dan mullen really wants. For contrast and something that will help his program significantly going forward in on that subject. How do you compare. Kyle trash to meg jones. And that's really his main competition now and that we know we know what had next two weeks especially next week but what what what what separates college trask. If anything well first of all. I love both of these guys you know as a former receiver. I love the the accuracy. I love the the the way they re defenses and get the ball to the right guy. On what the defense is dictating But i would go back and say kyle. Traffic is probably had a tougher. Time than what mack jones at and. That's not taking anything away. From mac ios but look at how. Good this offense of line is for alabama. Look at how well they've run the football over the last six games or so look at what. Najji harris has done. Devante smith the reason why iraq jones's numbers look so good on the deep passes over twenty yards and no disrespect. Mac has been really accurate. But when you're throwing a guy that's five yards behind the nearest defender. It makes it a little bit easier. So again i think without the run game florida certainly not able to run the football very well. I don't think they're offensive. Line is the most consistent So i think the load that kyle. Trask bears a little bit harder to to carry them. What jones does now with that being said. Look at the weapons of florida has i. I don't think i've ever been able to say at least in recent years. That florida has more receiving weapons around their quarterback than what alabama does. They've been absolutely loaded but Looking at the way that that not only kind of is utilized trayvon. Grimes justin shorter. All those receivers. Jacob copeland has come on as well Forgetting about tony. Who might be one of the biggest Factor mismatch guys in the sec. Right now but the way. They use the running backs as well. That was something that we saw against georgia so a lot of different guys. That are helping. Kyle trask out. But i think with the advantage that alabama has on the offensive line and that run game to complement the throws down the field. I think kyle may have a little bit more of a impressive Season just because of how much he's had to do himself chris. Couple of games. I want to ask you about one. Particular auburn at mississippi state mississippi state has been up and down we. We've been through that conversation. But i'm really curious about auburn. Because they've had some really good moments this year and then some clunkers especially lately. I know what you're doing here paul. You love it. When i go off on auburn and it's been up and down year with them right early in the season. I was really down on him. I was starting to get A little bit more positive with the way they were able to run the run the football figuring out who they were with take bixby and that offensive line and then they got hit with a bunch of injuries up front Bixby was was banged up.
