And i'll be answering those in a minute but first i wanted to start by sharing my thoughts about a few things that i have been thinking about this week so i i want to remind you all that we are still in second place for the webby awards so i would love for you to take a minute right now. I know you have to sign up to vote. I hate those systems too. But we really want to win this award if we can also if you will go to therapy for black girls dot com slash a webby and vote for us to be the best health and wellness podcasts. I would have really appreciated. So nex cindy anna will often see like random tweets on the time line and go into a deep dive of omega fish. This so this week we both saw. But cindy sent this tweet to me a tweet by a twitter user tinker sick. Ti in k. e. r. s. e. c. that was basically titled. Oh my gosh my brain can break and so it was a an extended thread by this guy who it sounds like is an info security about basically how he had so much that he broke his brain so he was spending so much time on the computer in doing so much cognitive work that he started to have seizures and so he went to lots of doctors. You know nobody could really find out what was going on until finally he was able to make an appointment with a neuro psychologist. I believe it was and he was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder and so he basically in his words he says 'i depleted my brain of dopamine in glucose. So i did not even know this was a thing and neither did cindy and so we started thinking like oh my gosh so just one more thing ray for us to be anxious about like how is this possible so i started doing all this research around like. How do you even test. The levels of glucose in your brain which then led me to finding that spinal tap basically was the only way to test is at least from my preliminary research. I am by no means an expert in this area and so we were both just really fascinated by this thread because again. It wasn't something that we even was possible. But i also think it is just a reminder that we can really do damage to ourselves when we do not take a moment to

"From one character to another each. Hr had individual abilities. You could improve those buildings. Basically things that they do in the model of edges game but when they did them in x men legends and in marvel ultimate line. Actually had this really good story backing all up. You know you are. You had things that we're actually going on in the comics backing up. I mean lines to is basically about civil law you know. And then you've got this new x men sorry this new avengers game which a just a feels like. I said it feels like they didn't actually get any of the characters. I mean the inclusion of kamala khan and kamala khan really deserves heroin game. All of them do it'd be honest yet out of the ones in night game. Well this is the thing the whole pint of kamala khan is right there in the comic books there. There's like different levels of here. You got like the heroes who deal with all the cosmic stuff right so those. Ob yes over. Surfers you thaws You know those sorts of heroes they deal with cosmic stuff. They deal with stuff that affects galaxies in universities. And stuff like that. Then you y'all world heroes. Who are your i and minds your hoax. They deal with global threats. She deals with stuff that is in and around her community. Ev read the original ron where she was conceived. Yeah that was very good crimes around new jersey. Yeah exactly undock. That's kind of the perfect type of game. I'd like to see her in something very local. I mean spiderman gets away with it so why can't you apply that to someone else come on khan doesn't have the cashier yet though. She exactly But yeah it's a. It's a big. It's a big risk. Put someone like that in. A big game was the kind of hedging their bets by putting all of these lesser characters in this vengeance game. Yeah but then. You've got games like the lego marvel super heroes game The you know whether they have literally like the the most marvel characters in a game the ncaa full sip. One is probably the best novel game..

Daughters of Zion: Fashion Forward Females
"So who were the daughters of zion. Each term used throughout the bible mostly in the old testament but occasionally in the new testament as well. Zion's not a person but rather a place zion is the dwelling place of the lord. Daughter of zion is usually used to describe the inhabitants of jerusalem daughters of zion reverse to specific women and today's passage in isaiah. Three sixteen to twenty six isaiah is speaking directly to wealthy jewish women who had gone astray isaiah three opens by giving judgment on the men of judah and jerusalem. He warned the israelites of what is to come in the days ahead because of their wickedness he specifically addresses the wealthy and those in positions of leadership because they're the ones who were living in luxury while oppressing the poor. They had become an aristocratic society that was leading to the moral decline of their culture. I find versus six and seven particularly interesting. How they were going to choose their leaders but that discussion. We'll have to wait for another day today. We concentrate on what isaiah had to say on the daughters of zion after fifteen verses of condemnation for the men verse sixteen opens with moreover the lord says after rebuking the men for their role in the destruction that was to come isaiah turns his attention to the women to let them know that they're responsible as well. Bursts sixteen describes the women's behavior specifically the way they walked because the daughters of zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and want an is walking and mincing as they go making a jingling with their feet. Verse seventeen prophesized. What will happen to them. Because of their era guidance therefore the lord will strike with the scab the crown of the head of the daughters of zion and the lord will uncover their secret parts. Isaiah goes on to give an exhaustive list of all the jewelry and accessories that the lord will take away from the women. The list includes anklets scarves necklaces bracelets headdresses headbands perfume boxes. Charms rings nose rings purses mirrors an robes. He closes the chapter with the list of replacements. Instead of the sweet smell of their perfumes there will be a stench. Instead of they're pretty sashes rope baldness will take over there beautifully. Styled hair rich robes replaced with sackcloth branding instead of beauty and if that's not enough there men will die in battle verse. Twenty six concludes with her gates shall lament and mourn and she being desolate shall sit on the ground. Why does is e start by talking about the way they walked. Well let's look at how they're walking out nex. We would describe that as walking with your nose in the air. A way of saying that you're looking down on others because you're better than they are. Wantin- is that means ogling or flirting we can assume for the rest of this passage that these are married women so why are they flirting with other men walking and mincing as they go the an iv version translates that as strutting along with swaying. Hips in other words flirting. So how does god respond to their flirtatious and proud. Behavior translated literally verse. Seventeen says the women will get leprosy or other sickness. That causes their hair to fall out. That would be a pretty scary warning especially for vein women who are consumed with their appearance while many of the items listed in verses eight through twenty three are familiar to us. many more are obscure items that we're not sure what they were. Bible scholars point out. That many of these articles came from foreign cultures. I wanna man even. Oh what happened these things were. The general consensus is that his wife who was a prophet is probably provided him with this list of items worn by these women. Isaiah reminds them that these things they have are fleeting and will soon be replaced in a mere ten verses highs. Ahah takes us from these women at the height of their popularity feeling like they're living the dream to them tumbling down to the depths of humiliation from walking with outstretched necks and a jingle to their steps to morning destitute on the bare ground. What a fall while this was written about women centuries ago the same message can be preached today. Are we not living in a society much like the one isaiah describes we as christian women could be called daughters of zion. Are we guilty of the same transgressions as these women. Perhaps you don't mince and strut as you walk and you probably don't jingle but do you have pride in your heart. Are there people you look down on those. You consider inferior. How much time do you spend on your outward appearance. How much time do you spend on your spiritual appearance verse. Seventeen talks about god's stripping away. They're beautiful hair and uncovering their secret parts. What if god stripped away your carefully combed hair your makeup and manicured nails your jewelry and fashionable clothes. What would be left

Grandmas House Visits
"As I've mentioned before grandmother's. This house was the biggest house in Whistler. My following description of the house is intended not to Brag or Put on as as they say down south. It stood high off the ground as many homes in the south dead, and had wide steps, leading up to middle of the front porch, and into the main hallway, the porch ran linked to the front of the House with a wooden swing on the far right. This weighing Hong by small change was at the very end of the porch. This wing was part of our playground. Front doors I mentioned was in the middle of the house, and only the screen door was locked to keep babies from going out and get an end of the street. Entering the front door you found yourself facing long hallway with ten foot ceilings, and on the left side, stood an old wardrobe. No such thing as walk in closets in those days. From? That long hallway doors left and right led into the various rooms I only remember there were. Two rooms on the right and left, but many told me that there were three on each side plus the kitchen at the far end of the hallway and to the right door. Let into the sparse kitchen. And dining table, saying an icebox. Mada refrigerator not those days and not those prices. News, an icebox where you would have the iceman bring a block of in from the horse drawn wagon and place it into the top. My job was empty. The pan of melted water from underneath before it ran over, my idea was to avoid having to stop my important playing outside didn't go across very well with my grandmother. I simply suggested that I drew a hole in the floor underneath a refrigerator for drainage and save all that walking. Let them snakes house. She said ain't no way. The kitchen, there was a door that led out onto small. Porch one of the bedrooms happened to the amount of. I would go there and wonder. You see he had a hobby that influenced me for life. He built model airplanes and to this day. I'm sure the stuck in my mind. That is why I later became a pilot. Thanks Uncle Arthur. Let's get back to the front porch. Now are fun days. Where when only cousins came to visit grandmother, and that was mostly on weekends. We would cram many cousins into the swing as possible. And fareless Fred Wynn. Mount the back of the swain with his toes in between the wooden slats and holding onto the change, he would swing out. Away from the porch and backed his is. He could never quite reach the ceiling. By, the squeals, the kids. How much fun we were having. That is until an aunt. Or an uncle or grandma would put a stop to it. That swing is GonNa Bright One day. And break you Jawans Nex. I remember once this Wayne did break as my corpulent and and a friend set in it. She never went out with him again. I guess that was a sign from somewhere above. The Yard in front consisted of various plants and bushes. Flower Bush was as my grandmother called it five o'clock. As? She showed me the first time at five o'clock. The, flowers would close up for the night. Fascinating I'll tell you the day we almost died. My two cousins and I were playing in the front yard near themselves in Bush's. My cousin Barbara asked us the WanNa pull only in Manet, Sandwich. On white bread well, who, in turn that down soon came the long awaited sandwiches presented on a plate.
Emirates Airline Orders 50 A350 XWB at Dubai Airshow 2019
"Dubai show just happens I guess the big news out of it is Immerse orders. Yeah kind of crazy numbers. Well yes and no remember that when emerets announced they were canceling their eighth radio or significantly scaling back. The a three eighty order it was going to be swapped for three fifty three thirty Nieto's and now they sort of firmed that up. But it's only the three fifty's not party Nieto's interesting and Never wanted to mince words sir. Tim Clark basically came out and said Yeah Rolls Royce and get his act together and actually making so engines will look at three thirty Nieto's but right now they're you know not vision sufficiently reliable hardware and we need langfitt imply interest. Yes I know I think I shared in one of our the other day. There's been the three thirty are now being being a fat are now included in the Trent thousand or the trump series right not the one thousand but the trend series engine issues so that is actually becoming an issue for Some airlines that have the three thirty Nieto's in Clark Cassini knees not keen on flying planes. That can't be I mean at this point do do you think the Airbuses have had their own. Trent issues right But emrich seems to have dodged most of that Luckily I I think most of the transition so far have been on the seventy seven yes and has just recently that the three thirties have shown up in having problems with regarding the the three eighty S. Triple seven have been rock-solid I'll say recently at least your Amerson for the global community large so emerson has been very lucky slash reliable on that front and now now it's just a matter of what the hell did I do. NEX and they had the triple seven x order with the other half of the news In there still the largest civil seven x plus tomorrow tomorrow expecting customer Bud in part because of delays they are they now added seventy seven. So they're orderbook seven eight seven dash nine which I think is thirty. Yeah they're planning on taking. That's I think as a hedge a little bit against triple seven x delivery delays but also. It's hard to tell how much of emerets orderbook is someone. Someone sort of sitting down implanting like this where we want to next. This is how many people there will be there. This is how you probably these routes will be the need to do it. Versus God. Airbus some Boeing. Love US and love for us to sort of say we're GONNA be a flagship Awesome report them. So they're gonNA give us a great deal on X. Y. Z.. We should buy some of those. Yeah it was actually interesting. I'll try to put it linked to it in the show notes on an interesting story from flight global about that I mean they're kind of like throwing their weight around right. They're you're buying power weight but like how much of it is that they actually have the buying power in how much the perceived to have it. I guess what I wonder I mean. Yes they are the biggest radio operator I yes. They're currently the biggest triple seven operator since W. yes and they will be the biggest triple seven x operator assuming that happens but also like they're not not the biggest airline They do fly a lot of places they have a brand cachet that is significant. But like I don't know I'm vaguely

Basically this means you're breaking down dietary fat so that you can actually use it for energy say goodbye to sluggish feelings after meals second capex helps transport those fatty acids into the muscles in the liver and there are several ingredients that actually dramatically increase the fatty acid oxidation inside your mitochondria both in your muscle and in your liver it ugly means you're transporting way more fuel into your motor and you're increasing your motor horsepower if you take three to five capsules in the morning on an empty stomach the energy can be absolutely incredible it's basically like a cup of coffee and it can last for six to ten hours without hitters brings -iety plus it also helps in the eliminate in department and of course by reading up your metabolism Capex can also lead to enhanced fat loss we're not saying it's a miracle fat loss pill those definitely don't exist but the research does show that Capex helps raise metabolic rate and other fat loss hormones
Product Mindset With Jessica Hall
"I think people are way too attached. Languages languages come and go every three to four years. people are re architect ing making changes. I A lot of people are are committing their organizations to a path without knowing how hard it's going to be changed as opposed to saying this is where we're solving wing for today with tomorrow at mind we think we know that things might shifted change over time because everybody has had to re architect and in in many cases multiple times that was the voice of Jessica. Hall the A CO author of the book the Product Mindset today is the second part of my interview with Jessica. What are some ways some things that I do today that maybe I'm not going to do in in two or three years and instead. I'm going to be doing something else. What are those things that you see a Mo- more developers participating in the future. Yes in the product lines. Mindset has three principles that kind of underlie all things it starts with a fundamentally before principles building for outcomes outcomes that we're not just here to build code. We're here to build businesses to help. Businesses serve customers and to grow the end to continue to innovate that it's not just about the Kobe right but what does that code create. What is that code enable. What value does it deliver and the first principle is minimize typed value. Which is the idea that you know when you are working working in your I d e when you're writing things in Jira. When you're planning meetings when you're doing sticky notes drawing diagrams that's activity the value exists in the hands of your customers value exists when they can work with the prototype or use a productive feature in production or staging That's value exists in their hands where they can do something. So how do you as fast as possible. Put something to their hands. How how do you reject the notion that it has to be complete as to be fully implemented have every bell and whistle it has to have feature parity plus everything else. What is the smallest all set of things that you can do that solve the problem for somebody? PUT IT in their hands. How do you kind of slice across and say I'm going to deliver the ability for you to to look at this for you to manipulate it in for you to get some sort of result on just this thin stripe things and that from there. I can see people gosh should be really. I you know I really want to be able to do this thing great. Let me build that thing. You know. It doesn't account for this thing awesome. I'll get on that next but that first principles really the idea idea that we have to deliver that small sliver that small piece of the feature not everything and I think it goes back to school where you have this ocean of completeness and I don't want an incomplete. That's like that's bad. I can't simplify these things down. I can't cut it down. Just take a piece but taking a piece allows you to reduce waste to increase learning to start generating interest. Perhaps general revenue much sooner so the question you to ask yourself. Else is our minimizing time value when you go to plan your releases. Are you thinking about in every release in every sprint whatever you know analogy use news. How fast are we delivering value to. Our customers are waiting too long before we giving them things. Do we have things that are clogging up the pipeline that if we could streamline them we did you get things out faster which means we can learn faster. How do why isn't it in junior developer. Maybe think about implementing something that might get it done a little bit quicker a little bit simpler as opposed to something that maybe Nouri ability to scale but honey. We Ain't scaling yet. We don't even have ten customers so or win. The team goes to do release planning to say okay. Let's break this down and make sure we have something that we can release that we can deliver value to our our customers in that. We can learn and we're open in. We value without learning the NEX principle is solved for neat so the idea is that AH product needs to solve a need. When is that need. Why does this thing is exists. What do we do for people you know. Kenya explain you're at a bar with someone you just met like why your product matters and you know. What is the need? A needs is our best to find a by state like I can't do any better than him so I'm GonNa have to use his you know. It's you know it's a problem you know. Oh The doing laundry is a pain in the butt and you probably don't enjoy doing laundry your number two. I know that that I know the extent that it takes time and effort if I don't do you know if I don't get it done. That aren't where until you you can. You can put a price on that pain. that you're trying to fix your trying to fix it. You're trying to improve it somehow. You're hacking something together your laundry scheduler. You're you're using. You're trying different services and things in nothing's quite working and you're in the last. You're willing to invest in a solution. That's a neat neat. That's something I I can. I know I haven't if someone has a problem. They don't identify. They don't feel they don't connect act with they haven't figured that out yet good luck trying to cells kind of have to admit that they know it's a problem. They know it hurts. They're trying stuff suffer not finding the right thing. They're willing to make an investment in the new thing that's where you WanNa play and so that's kind of where it helping understand the customer and having spent some time. No one's asking you to do detailed research. Maybe read some of the research that your team is put together. Maybe look at some of the data. Maybe listen to an interview. There's something really powerful about connecting with other humans. the last one is accelerate age the so that comes in a couple different ways you know back in the day. You still only be able to release once a month now. We have good better tooling. better processes better ways to be able to deploy more often being willing to invest in that. I'm reading. This book called accelerate about the science of devops. It is is not an easy by any stretch like I can only go do a couple of pages at a time because it's so dense but it's also antastic in making the case through were very rigorous data heavy process of why to make that investment but it's not just the technology piece of that end getting your organization to invest in technology not the decision making you know a lot of people complain that priorities change at my answers will yeah they should because has everything around the spill change companies change markets change regulations change so why shouldn't priorities change its priorities changing such assigned. FLAKA organization who doesn't know what they're doing at their if they are changing without reason they're changing. They have been measured. They're changing aging because you know somebody right has shiny object syndrome that bad and he usually people call me because because somebody's got shiny objects in Rome. That's not not uncommon big but if they're changing because there is something has changed in the world and we need to respond to it. That's thank goodness right. Yeah thank goodness that retained because if we don't somebody else will get their first and we may not be here so changing priorities isn't necessarily a bad thing. I need people to kind of think that when priorities changing question where that's coming from rather than say oh my gosh product. Doesn't you know what's going on. Our leadership. Team doesn't know what's going on. Don't blindly execute yourself to the bottom of the ocean. Yeah this is a this is a problem right because if you if you look at what what do you mean when you say change. There's multiple things going on. You're you are in your environment and you may be doing something in that environment but if the environment changes around you then there's it's essentially indistinguishable able whether you changed or the environment changed right in other words. You can keep on doing the same thing but that doesn't mean that doing doing the same thing is going to result in the same outcome. This is very It's obviously true right because you can say okay well. Masika a silly example. This is unrealistic. Let's say that I'm awake. Now I might as well just continue staying awake and I'm not GonNa Sleep when when when the when night falls because I'm awake and I don't WanNa change that's crazy right because we're talking about a different scale of of changing and to to maintain homeostasis for your body. You need to sleep right so in a way. If you don't want to change you you should sleep right so if let's say that the other scale that we're measuring on is growth company is growing. You know say they're. They're growing their revenue. year of year at one hundred percent. I don't know some unrealistic number and they they don't WanNa change well. What is it that they don't want to change. Do they want to continue growing their revenue or do they not want to change something else and allow their revenue to sink right. That's so so so I think we we want to maintain our behaviors but we forget that our behaviors are not the entire story that the environment is changing around us and so you're not the same person that you were before. You're not the same company that you were before and certainly the things that you did before or not. GonNa have the same effect as they a- as they had previously yeah ain't that painted a but it makes it hard right. How do you know what to do. I will gosh it's really hard to say now. I I'm reminded of Pixar Stringer hits day very deliberately brought brought in that Bradburn who got like fired by budget studios and said. We believe you will challenge us. You will shake it up. You will not allow us to go into complacency with toy story seventeen or something and so he he was the you know the person's shake it up any took. Everybody wanted to shake things up in the whole company. Put the one team and they may day incredible and so. It's hard to to do that in You know it's it's rough. If you want to continue to see those numbers go up. You WanNa continue doing something. That makes you feel safe insecure that you know you can do that noble when it all feels like it. Smooth food is coming. I mean I hate to be the doomsday device but something is on the horizon. We've never I don't think again. I'm going to get this wrong but I think the number is that fifty seven or seventy five percent of fortune one hundred will turn over the next two years that didn't happen twenty years ago but it happened today the end you've got choices to make somebody who's GonNa income for you or you. Comfort yourself tied to keep pushing it forward and and that's that's scary and that's hard and your company evolves. Maybe some of the same people they write for it anymore.
Jay Inslee gives up on climate-focused presidential bid
"You're six six days away from the qualifying deadline for the next democratic debate in september so far. Only ten candidates have made the cut. Although there are whole bunch approaching the threshold probably not coincidentally in just the last luik to candidates for probably not going to make the debate stage have dropped out of the race entirely last night washington governor jay inslee. You might have seen told my colleague motto that he's officially out of the race today. He announced he would be seeking a third term. As governor of washington also today former former colorado governor john hickenlooper who dropped out of the presidential race last week announced a senate run. I've always said washington was a lousy place for a guy. I liked the who wants to get things done but this is no time to walk away from the table. I know changing washington is hard but i want to give it a shot. I'm john hickenlooper candidate for united states senate <hes>. That's a very good shot. Although i wonder how many takes took hickenlooper entrance is bad news for the incumbent republican cory gardner who is pulling ten points behind generic democrat right now with hickenlooper enderle gone from the democratic presidential field it leaves just twenty two candidates vying for the democratic nomination. The question now is how long is the field going to stay that big answer the question. I'm joined paula romo's host of vices nex series former staffer for hillary clinton's two thousand sixteen presidential campaign and jilani cobb staff writer the new yorker professor of journalism at columbia university. I think the hickenlooper news is significant because many people have been jumping up and down and pointing at senate races races with to some of the candidates being like maybe you should do this and that's what he did. Yes it is significant. It is narrowing down but i also think that there's something else that is happening. Which is that people people are widening and defining what electability means right so it used to be the case that we elect ability meant that it was just about being donald trump but now it's turning into something else which is why the race will continue to be this massive fight because it's about who can win in who can beat donald trump the right way which is is what i think we're gonna see in in the debates the right way meaning who is centering marginalized communities at the center of the conversation but you're saying that you think that to me implies right. There's a thinking among democrats that more than one candidate can beat exact donald trump. You think that's the case. I do think the democrats think. I think that's what people think which i think that's the important important thing i don't. I don't know if democrats are thinking about what people are thinking in the streets. I know how young people are thinking and the thinking is that we want someone that not only uses latinos and black people blend women as pawns to beat donald trump. We want someone that uses us and that inserts us in the future of this country and that's the difference and that's why i think as you just talked to senator dr sanders like he is talking about. People of color rose out climate change. It's different. It's striking to me that in the number of candidates we still have twenty two. There's going to be this sharp. Drop off as we go into this third debate and i think that like there's a little bit of this electability.

He was he was reason that the raptors breath. We're fogging up the glass and on the other side of that glass was the NBA finals. He was absolutely good enough to get Leonard back into trade when combined with Jaka Pertile in a first rounder, all of which is to say that I feel bad for bar Rosen, but I also think that it's kind of clear what happened. Yeah. There's a line in Konya west gold, digger, it kind of analogous. It is. They went out and they got on. And then they decided to go into different direction. And I do believe the derozen is correct on this matter. He made them good enough to believe he there made them good enough to think of how good they could possibly be right? And not only that, he's the dude who stayed right? Toronto's big thing is they get these guys is cold up there. They not sure that the black American really wanna live there. So you lose Chris Botti. Vince Carter forces way out of there, so forth. Sobol umag. This is the do who stayed right. He stayed. And then they're like, we gotta go get something better, by the way, the raptors were right to their ass ceiling to how far you get with your best defensive player not being able to shoot threes. They went and got one of the five best players in the NBA arda Rosen is the human ceiling and what's infuriating for this man? Is that quiet? Leonard isn't even sure reportedly that he wants to be there, if I'm damore Rosen and I'm wondering about this free agency thing. I'm just increasingly furious that I wanted to be there in this guy didn't. And the only reason I didn't get to where he is now because the Braun James left the Eastern Conference, I would be saying that to myself before I go to bed every night muttering under my breath. Now, LeBron leaves now LeBron and you'd be lying to yourself, all likelihood. Because if you have damore Rosen and not Coa lynyrd there's a good chance. You lose the Philadelphia. Economy added 263,000 jobs in April
"This morning's announcement of April unemployment is where we start two hundred sixty three thousand new jobs added to this economy last month, the employment rate fell to three point six percent. A generational low has to be pointed out on a Swanson is that the New York Times k Davidson is with the Wall Street Journal here to fully contextualized the past five days in this Konomi, everybody. Hake kay. Let me start with you. And this every time, and and certainly we've said it here. But every time the judge board has come out in the last guy. It's got to be like a year. We have said, oh, we're at full employment. This can't possibly go on any longer. And yet every month. It keeps going on. What gives amazing? Well, I think that I think that it's a sign of a couple things one seems to be that there are just more people out there. The the the economy because it's so strong right now is continuing to draw workers off of the sidelines. Now this month report showed a perhaps a little bit of a dip of the participation rate went down for the second straight month. But more broadly as you said over the past year or so that rate has been doing well, and I think that, you know, we've been hearing from employers that they're having a hard time finding workers in that low unemployment rate means would suggest as you said that there just aren't that many more people, but they're coming in. So they're being attracted by a couple of things, I think wages have we just wage gains have been much stronger up three point two percent in April come from year earlier. So yeah, it was a pretty strong report on a let me ask you this. And this is a large contextual question. But it does seem to have been a. A five or six day period of conundrum in this economy. Right. We got gross domestic product last week at three point two percent. We got jobs today. Really nice. Inflation came out on Monday Tuesday. It was really low the feds hanging on there's something unusual happening. Yes. Yeah. Absolutely. So this combination of super low unemployment, and and hike growth and low inflation is not really supposed to be possible. So when unemployment drafts this low job creation should should slow and inflation should surge. But we're just seeing the economy keep on trucking, and you know, the fed it's it's kind of a bizarre situation for the fed where softening inflation in straw job growth, are pointing them in two different directions. So this week the fed said it it was expected above trend growth to import inflation over time. And they indicated that they're on hold for now. They're basically on pas to see what what shakes out in this economy, so K to that. Point of Jay Powell, and the fed and them in essence on I'm gonna exaggerate her a little bit. But in essence, they're just kinda shrug their shoulders and saying we're guessing that inflation's gonna bounce back. The where we want to be around two percent, but they don't really know a little bit. Yeah. It's it's reminding me of this really funny speech from I think it was Randy quarrels on the fed. Vice chairman last year, he talked about his those trainings up those funny. But he he trained as a pilot, and he talked about how when he was starting out in flight school. They train them not to focus too much on the needle right where the dial is showing them, but they had to kinda learn to follow all of the signs and not target one direction too closely in particular, and he's he kind of said this is sort of where we what what we is officials feel like we need to do right now. And so instead of raising rates preemptively because job growth is strong and the expected to lead to more inflation, they're sort of switching their mode, and now they've gone from that to this kind of wait and see mode, and I think that that they signaled on Wednesday that they're they're pretty confident that that's working right now because of this positive data, and that was reaffirmed, of course, with Friday's jobs data. Let me take a very quick swing into the politicization of the fed on it. And then and then we'll moth the central Bank, Stephen Moore. The president's you know, floated nominee, but not officially named. To the fed board guy as withdrawn Larry cudlow said today, the president's chief economic adviser, the vice president United States also said today that they what they want the fed to do is actually got rates right now. Gimme like thirty seconds on politicization of the fed. And maybe has has this episode of mister Cain, and Mr. Moore taught the president anything. Well, I'm not sure I mean, I I don't necessarily think so because in a tweet earlier this week the president actually compared the fed to China China's adding great stimulus to its economy while at the same time keeping interest rates low. I mean, you know, the Federal Reserve is supposed to be it wide operates independently from the White House that's pretty different from China's managed economy. I think it's worth remembering that, this just isn't this isn't normal. And you know, we have seen the president's recent efforts to put his supporters on the fed failed with Herman Cain and Stephen Moore. Both withdrawing from consideration. It remains to be seen. What kind of candidate? They put up nex. Oughta let me stay with you for a second. Since you mentioned China. I do want to draw on your trade expertise, which is your beat at the times sexual nation. And Trade Representative Robert lighthizer have been in Beijing this week doing what one assumes will be the the very hard last few things in a US China trade deal. What can you tell us? It does seem like the administration is emphasizing that, you know, the the president could still walk away. He's ready to do that. But we could see China deal as early as next week. And you know, it does seem like it'll leave some of the Trump administration's goals on the cutting room floor like subsidies, cyber theft, data restrictions, but I think you can also credibly make the argument that President Trump is getting more here from China than past administrations have done. I mean, I think the big question for me is whether we should declare victory here for the more aggressive trade strategy and general, and you know, what the question is. What comes next? I mean, the China agree. Might still be setting us up for more tension between the two countries. If tariffs are brought back into the relationship. You could see a tit for tat tariff war kind of follow quickly here to an agreement.

"For will by felisa if she's as gay auto night it's even only far away it's sort of a can of worms on guys at nex well we now it's not dive yeah well i think casson tara have been for the last few weak link the dream to people to sit next to which is kind of crazy that they would try to vote out tessa in this episode like for people who aren't mad or lisa you should be trying to keep her around if you can surely because you know she she someone who's easier to be so i think that just shows how much control matt had that people were on that plan to vote out tests off until obviously lisa came in and blindsided him but i do think the day this was the right move and as i've said and you know even plays the idol was worse case scenario tessa goes as was the other option and they flush in idol anyway get him next time so it worked out but yeah let's look a little bit about that jury villa and how the jury's perceiving the group of people still left in the game this was a fascinating jury villa and i really encourage everyone to go out and seek it out if you haven't washed it already firstly matt coles he's pot he's the onset i think on the phone which i've never seen before even in any of the villas on the season that was crazy to me any tells her that he voted on i don't his pocket and she is just like why didn't you play it he's like it's not that simple that'd be lovely wouldn't going through that emotional roller ties van on survivor and sort of remind when that i know more more more was i chelsea layoff show in in england when i was on survivor and tate is your off time and j often tell shake i'm nevada back guide more grand nicole and so they're facing she did was body me doing so often aim pathology we met that spot as reaction on the fine what the hell regan me for me your body goes yeah what is it play it like why not and so easy obviously the the ends it would end up mets partner to a confidentiality he wasn't a side of the yeah imagine getting that cole partners on on the applying the guy and you get a coal sign hard island others won't let you now got today i with an orderly my pocket like what what choices she got your body loser yeah don't accept that coal there was so many crazy things on this jury villa one of my favorite things was that matches them the rights the beginning of every jury villa video which is what makes it also incredible and he's like matt didn't come here to make friends i'm like yeah because he already came in with a friend so that was easy and he he tells his partner that dave told him not to play the idol as we said before so that's crazy so that makes me a little bit more credit today as well that i think that was just so blinded by his friendship for dave and lisa that was his demise another thing that mad is now wrestling with on the jury the games very much going on for him because he promised dave they promised each other that they wouldn't tell the jury about their friendship and he didn't tell them in the jury video but it seems a little bit open ended do you think this is something that matt will tell the jury absolutely thinking stalled the jury did you say even is joe jury villa actually it wasn't a jury villa exit interview with radio unusal managed to catch is a guy on a reply where like the common tighter i think i'm still from the rice is today say were did you now that i've met and she said i only went i got the jury villa size ns she said.

"A chance to take a pay cut and maybe that goes back to during the regular season when he said probably not hell no when it comes to the conversation when he was asked about taking a pay cut so does brian is out with the dallas cowboys in that era does come to close and now there's a free agent i'm not going to say a big free agent in name he is a big free agent but by town where he is right now he's no longer my opinion a number one wide receiver he's in that category of a one and a half wide receiver slash too wide receiver he's not a true number one anymore so i'm curious to see where does brian ends up nex he's not number one anymore so what is going to be the fit and what team is he gonna end up on this late into the game so it comes down to this very simply they released him because his production is down and you can't justify someone paying dez bryant that much the cowboys organization that much for his production not to be in a good place a lot of drops this year so get eight hundred yards so get your six seven touchdowns but it's not the twelve and a half thirteen fourteen million dollars a year that would have been getting next year it's just not worth it and then when you get to the answer of why did they wait i don't know why they waited i really truly don't know that like i said maybe they were behind the scenes trying to work out a way to try to get into take less money but he said he was never broached on that opportunity so i don't know why they waited that long it seems very fishy it seems very odd to wait that long and we may never know the answer to it maybe it was it just took a lot of time to convince jerry jones replied that he likes it admire so much to actually say goodbye to him and hand him his walking papers because when you read the cowboys statement today that the tail end of it said we arrived at this crossroad collectively with input from several voices within the organization ultimately we determined it was time to go in a.
