"And that's I think that's what's happened with those warriors team and you're seeing that with Andre and draymond. That's such a good point. I feel like that's something that I that all of us really fell in love with about this team was that they actually operated like a team and they did these things that just were selfless and altruistic in a way that it's not that common to see and in an NBA franchise. But what does that look like for them in 2021 now? Because there is, I feel like a sense of the kumbaya days are over, but you are right in that they have now kept their promises. As well. And there is a power in that. Well, I think it's funny. This is not to say they didn't strive and do whatever other super team tries to do, right? They just got an abundance of talent. They went out and they dipped their toe. They got Kevin Durant on the team. They were a part of the super team thing too in this era where there's these makeshift teams, you know, we see this in Los Angeles. We see this in Miami. We've seen this all over where we're just going to make a team and we're just going to figure it out. But it was an interesting step in the story said that we could have gone out like the heat we could have gone out like these teams, but we had an infrastructure. I don't know if that was a digger, I don't know, stuff, stuff is pretty like very calculated and what he says, but it's true, you know? A lot of these teams have kind of just in this new era of player empowerment have just kind of made these makeshift superstar teams and the warriors are one of those rare teams that have blended both where you have superstars, but also you take care of your guys as a team. You know, you still have that spurs mantra of like, hey, we're going to go out, but we're going to go out like a team and you see this season. It's a lot more joy, man. There's a lot more tour around the warrior staff. In a way that it just wasn't in the past years and they were striving for it seems like a rejuvenation. I don't know what that leads to, but there's just seems like a whole different vibe in warriors land right now. Yeah, I almost wonder if it's just the fact that there are variables that they can control in order to get better. Because there is this, they're one of the most interesting teams in the league and I'm so looking forward to just spending the regular season tracking them because there's so many different ways that they can make progress with different players. Lawyer development just chemistry that they can develop. I'm sure they're passing in the first game against the Lakers is already looking like not quite vintage, but they had moments, you know, that reminds me of fun it was. You know what's funny? That was like one of their most sloppy, the sloppy is one of the sloppiest games I've ever seen them play. Oh, yes one, but they still looked they still were by and large in tune. It was because of a drop pass. It wasn't because they didn't make the right pass. And a lot of times, but it was interesting. So I say that to say that they have a real ceiling with their offense. Not a silver. They have a high ceiling for their office, or they haven't even gotten to yet. Yeah, yeah, I feel like Steph was having one of those just like I'm gonna throw the ball four feet overhead by accident type of games. In that first half. But yeah, they do have a lot of different things that they could improve on like a lot of incremental things that could help them. And I don't know, I think when you're in that position, it's just a little bit more empowering. Do you feel like they're just happy to be trying to build something again? Definitely. I think that because it by and large at their core, they're like the, especially with the bear, they're these hometown heroes. Like when they were 2014, 15 warriors, it was really just like, man, that's crazy. Our neighborhood homies are just like, are winning are winning at a high level. You kind of have that community back. Now, there was like for the Bay Area them going to on this getting Kevin Durant was like the Bay Area resident moving down to LA, right? Where it's like, okay, we've reached this another level of stardom, but we from the bay. Now it feels like you know that homie that moved to LA is moved back up. It would Kevin let me move back up to the bay. And it's like, you know, like I'm just vibing right now. It just seems like a real low key lower key thing. And that's no distance to anybody, but I just seem it's different because there's not as much pressure now. To win. You don't think so? At least they don't feel it as much because they're by and large saying we don't need to win a title this year. And I think that this is very much a development year. Now their plan in their minds, I think they're playing with house money. At least that's how they feel, right? Because every time I tried to prod obviously to make the story, when I was talking to Steph, we talked about 15 minutes and I did try to get him on, like, yo, man, this championship or bus type shit. And he was like, no, no, it's not. That's what we're playing for. But I don't think that it's I don't know Steph always speaks in code, but he never gave the inclination that it was championship or bust this year. And draymond is said by after the first game, we have a long way to go. But I do think that they're in love with that process because that's where they came from. They came from building something and they want to build another thing. Yeah, yeah. Steph's steps closer really interesting. What he said about how that core, the core that they now have, if they're healthy, had never been beaten, and then how was that interaction in real life? Did you have to say like, hey, what about you? So when we talk,.

"Accessible. So like, you know us, if we need a story, we're going to go where by and large where people are going to help us the most and the warriors are so accommodating. So I think they are accommodating their product is just caught up with how great they have been accommodating and actually want to be want to sell themselves in a way that I don't think the league as a whole wants to sell itself. Yeah, I completely agree. I mean, just the fact that we're able to have these in depth conversations about draymond's attitude and how it coalesces with a team. How Steph Curry helps balance them out. How a guy like Andre Iguodala Iguodala is such a good example to me of the type of leader that I think if he played for a different franchise that wasn't as open with media and was maybe like a person that was a little bit more quiet. We would have no idea just how much value he has brought to the team. And he's one guy where I feel like it's it's kind of big that they brought him back before. It's huge. It's yeah. Tim Cabo comedy at the athletic he interviewed career after they won the gold medal. And he set and crew on Iguodala said, I think when we lost him, we lost a piece of our soul. And we knew that when we lost him. And then he talks about he talks about how trading Iguodala ended up being the right move because it brought back to mingo and Wiggins, which man retire that man's Jersey. The non box score value. It got him hey. I think everyone's just everyone in that situation is like, you know what? It sucks that we had to break up for a little while, but you know, we're coming back better than ever. Straight up. Anyways, so he talks about how he thinks it was a good trade. And then he's like, but there's no way of getting around the fact that for the last two years, we've been wayward in many ways. Do you feel like you saw that yeah, being around them? Because I just want to know from somebody who was there because I feel like the things that a guy like Iguodala brings to a team are just so specific. I mean, Andre is one of the most fascinating players I've ever covered ever in life. And so it's weird to say, while Audrey Iguodala was not in the building, his influence loomed large over the warriors during the 2019 20 season and beyond, honestly, ever since he left, he never really left the bay. His folks were his wife and his kid, both wanted school and lived in the Bay Area when he was getting money from Memphis. He never reported. He was in the east bay chillin, even spotted out all the time. He was working. And so he was still in the fabric of the warriors, but him not being in the locker room really hurt and that goes back to draymond where there's no buffer, right? Draymond is the leader. Draymond is the only one there, and he can't really relate to being a leader. And so there's no buffer. And so when Andre was there, you know, he's one of the guys that is superstar. No, but he has Steve Kerr's ear, but he also has the ear of the young guys. He also has a respect of the young guys. I remember when I remember when Jordan bell had a I did the famous Mike Brown incident where the famous hotel incident in Memphis. And I remember talking to, you know, just trying to get a reactionary piece. It was just trying to see what the OG thought about Jordan and because usually you can get the barometer of the tell the team is going by the OGs. And you know, Andre was one of the first people to defend Jordan bell. Just blindly defend him. And he was he defending him. I don't know the reason I don't know the reason why I can do this. It was kind of like kind of an innocuous, I can't remember what it was. He bought something on Mike Brown's tab. I don't know what it was. I forget, I didn't get reported and no enough doing it was. We bought something on Mike Brown's tab at the hotel. And honestly, it was not just that just for more context on that Jordan belting. It was not. It was more context to that. They had had trouble with Jordan throughout the season and that was a game that a lot of the players played. It was just one of the first times they did it on a coach, so it got bad, but it was just one of those things where it was like the straw that broke the camel's back with Jordan, right? So one of the OGs could have just thrown Jordan of the bus. Now he's a kid that's been fucking up. This season, and we would have to call, but Andre was like, no, and the reason why is because he didn't want and how shit to get out for one and two, he wanted to show that he had the young guys back, and that's something that's always been something in his fabric and he can also talk to, you know, relate to Steve Kerr because he was a bulls fan and he and Steve Kerr and Andre loved billions of Succession. That's something that they watched together. So they can bond on both sides. And that's why he was so important because he can speak, but he can speak both languages. And so he's the great unifier on that team and he wasn't there. Andre is also like, it's interesting that he's like that, too, because he's also very realistic about what the NBA is. And, you know, just like, I remember reading his book, and I can't remember if this was in his book or somewhere else. But, you know, he talks about just the idea of like, you know, every rookie is like essentially somebody who could replace you. And that's an attitude that's like, you know, always been fairly prevalent with an NBA locker rooms like the notion of mentorship is actually rarer than I think people realize it is because if you're a rotation piece on a team, why are you going to help the guy that they're grooming to replace you so that they don't have to pay you, right? That the teams try to replenish their own talent with first round picks all the time. You know, the thing that's interesting to me about the warriors is a they have Andre, who was like that. But even draymond has kind of never really wild like being, you know, always like advocating for himself and clearly having this feeling that he is not being valued appropriately. He is also never really been that worried about being replaced. The biggest thing is he recruited Kevin Durant, but he's also not in not with the maybe I don't know what I want to call it like the tact or the EQ that Iguodala would use. But he has been a mentor to a lot of young players on the team as well. So, I don't know, it's just always been really interesting to me that he hasn't necessarily worried about that. I think that's some more of an organizational thing because I always think of like if draymond was on another team that was a lot more dysfunctional would he just try to go get his because that's what the environment suggested that he do to be successful because here's the thing man, Jeremiah's a survivor, no matter where he's gone through, he's just survived and just flourished in that in a way where we didn't think he would. But he's also been in great situations. You know, especially he's been coached by Tom has always been coached by Steve Kerr has been in a good organization. So the organization at least outwardly has made these players secure enough to the point in their roles to where they can be, where they can be secure enough to help other guys out. And also has helped that no one has been able to replace draymond, right? There was always there was always a thing in the Bay Area about the next draymond, right? Where the first it was Jordan bell, and I think past school got that mantle. It's basically anybody that draymond is in orbit with or takes under his wing that's a three and three or four is the next draymond. He's grooming the next one. But there was something interesting that between draymond and I think that Andre says the same philosophy, it's that something that Pete Myers told draymond. That's in the story when he was a rookie. He says you get paid to get the next guy paid. You're gonna get your bread and as long as you do the right things you're gonna get your bread and one of those right things is mentoring young guys so that they can get paid. And you will always be around. And that philosophy is been there for the warriors. They have taken care of draymond financially. Let's just point blank. And maybe when his stats haven't suggested, so they have paid him. And so he is secure enough to where he can do that. That's why when you take care of everybody and everybody eats and put them in a healthy environment, they will more than happy more than happily pick up the next man..
Curry, Warriors stun James, Lakers 121-114 in opener

"Where it's the one where it's not really that flashy, but when all the pieces are kind of put in place for the rest of the show. And where, you know, Steph is hurt and clay is hurt. Draymond's out on his own, but draymond has to figure it out and figure himself out because he no longer has Sean levis and Andre with Dolan David west to tell him hey bro, you shouldn't have want that far. Or he doesn't have he doesn't even have Steph for a lot of that year in clay, so he has to figure out how to both be a leader and also know how to be a leader because he could just have that buffer of Andre Iguodala and Sean Livingston and all these guys. So because he was all alone, it taught him how to taught him how to develop help develop young guys and by extension of warriors have had to have that identity crisis, too, of how do we become a development, a developmental team, too, because you have to be you have to develop into a champion. And I think that's been lost in the rings there, but you have to develop into that. And the wars are trying to get their next act or their second act or their last act, and they have to do that by developing young people and draymond was a barometer of that. Yeah, they've definitely invested more in that. They hired a drama melila from the raptors. And they've just like, you know, the amount of young players that they have is going to be really interesting to me to see, though, how do you actually in practice do that? Have you gotten any insight into how they're going to balance that out at all? I think that they're learning on the fly just as much as we are, right? Because the only barometer I mean, only I think barometer this working is the spurs, right? To have that second act around Duncan, but we didn't really get to see the losing seasons when that happened. But they're trying to figure out their own way with that because they're trying to get a guy like wiseman and sort of fold who has an abundant abundance of potential. But he has to figure out how to be a champion on the fly and like the thing with wiseman and who was coached by the coach he referenced. By and large, he is a guide that is trying to figure that out. And everything that I've seen from wiseman is that press is on him. You know, that press is on him the pressure to win, not in a bad way, necessarily, but he's so involved that he wants to impress everybody because he not only has he hasn't played in the NBA much, but he hasn't played high school or college. So this is his coming out thing. And you can see he's a really hard on himself about if he misses a shot or two. He's like, damn. You know, he's so hard on himself because he's seen all he's not only fighting trying to get a title. He's fighting the perception that he's a bust. And he's seen that LaMelo Ball is out there. He's seen an Anthony I was just balling. But that's the guy they have to burn along to get into that championship fabric, and that's going to take a while and they're going to have to be accepted. When you were reporting the piece after you talked to wiseman, I remember we talked that you said, oh, that dude just going to be just fine. Why did you think that? One because I think he's in a really good system of an organization and two he wants it. You know, he's not giving up. The reason why he's frustrated is not because he wants to give up. It's because, no, he wants to live up to whatever what everyone's saying and what also he thinks of himself. I think he thinks he's one of the best rookies in this class. And honestly, on paper, if, you know, if he had more of a college career, you could make the argument that, yo, he's perfectly fit for this warriors roster. He's just raw right now. The only thing is he's fighting against time with Steph and clay and all these people who are getting older. But I think he's going to be okay because one he says all the right things in two weeks, everything body I've spoken to, says he has all the right habits. He wants it. So, you know, I think that he's going to be okay. It's going to take time. Now the thing is, are they going to be the warrior's going to have enough infrastructure to be patient with them? And so we'll see what happens with that. Yeah, and I think the other end of that is like, are they going to have enough minutes for him? And if they don't, like, is he going to be able to be patient when he's putting all this pressure on himself? Yeah. It's really interesting. To me that this team is now. You know, you've got wiseman and you've got kamenga who are both like, you know, they're both like blue chip prospects coming out of coming out of high school, right? They're like your blue chippers blue chippers. Everybody knew who they were from the time that I don't even know how young, right? I think for Kimmy, I think it was like the time that he was 14 years old. And they're with this team full of guys that are like, you know, full of players that were underestimated, second round picks. Guys who scrapped from for a ten day contract and found their ways onto NBA rotations. How have you seen that dynamic like intermingle together? I haven't been around kaminga as much yet so I can't really speak for how that process is working with him just yet, just because he's so new to the team. But with wise minute, I think it's one of those things where he wouldn't say I beat into him, but he saw it firsthand how kind of hard this was. And I think the biggest help with all of this is that the warriors have young guys, but they also have great vets. You talk about I think they have one of the best staffs and great OGs on their team. They have Andrew with dollar who helps out with, you know, with that with draymond, right, who helps out with draymond, but it can also help out with Juan and Jordan Poole, right? And you also have Sean Livingston who's on the staff and who actually travels with the team to most road trips. He's a guy that is in that sweet spot that we see where he's out of the league, but the players in the league have played against him. He's not too far removed from the game to where he could still give up game. He was only three years ago he was on the last warrior's finals run. And you have the adre Barbosa who when they were in LA, I saw he was actually doing shooting drills a comedic and just like really just talking big shit. It was a great, it was a great thing. It was a great visual to watch. But they have a great staff, and I think because of their staff in the way that they're team is presented. Now is it a championship roster? No, but is it a great roster of mixes with younger guys and older guys? Yes. And I think that's gonna ultimately get them. If they stay healthy into title contention, maybe not this season, but in the seasons to come. So that kind of like, I guess like that difference there between in expectation is what's really interesting to me. Because I think it was just a couple of days ago, draymond talking about the playoffs better not be the only expectations. I'm just really curious to see what becomes of these guys in February. Because right now, so there's like a million different variables variables with this team. You have wise men come in and moody. You don't really know how they're going to develop this season. And you have even rotation players that are really young and you have clay's health, which is probably like the biggest question mark. And I don't know, I'm just curious, let's say I think so personally have been kind of buying into the warriors inevitability, right? I think I'm just like way back in 2016. I'm feeling 22 again. Have you succumbed to the propaganda? I helped create the propaganda. I'm feeling the machine. I'm very much I am such an entrenched part of it that I just want to say. No. I don't want to, I want you to ask your question, but I think the lawyers inevitability is because of one their talent on the floor, but also everything around them. Their media staff always wants to get you know this. They always want to give you a story. They always want to be in the news cycle, whereas other teams is we both have kind of talked about on the side. Our closed off in an era where the NBA is singing like sometimes or most times it just doesn't want to be covered..

'Woke' Media Fails to Ask NBA Coach About China
"Com. Josh cross how are you and NBA fan? Somewhat. I mean, I kind of lost interest in the NBA when wizards don't make the playoffs at all. But yeah, I follow the NBA. I like basketball. Say you know, Popovich is allegedly this brilliant guy. He's very good basketball coach, but yesterday, Gruden gets fired from misogynistic homophobic emails and Popovich compares Columbus to Hitler and doesn't get asked a question about the genocide in China and the Uyghurs in his complicity in that. What's wrong with the NBA sports media? Well, not just the sports media, it's the leadership of the NBA, which I think they've suffered the most of all the four sports leagues because they got the most political, all the leaks of some extent have gotten more political than they once were, but the NBA really just like, I remember during the bubble season they put Black Lives Matter on the court. They let players offer their political takes on things left and right. And that's not a great place to be. We want one of the top roles of building a good team and effective team is that you're not divided by politics. You're one team and you don't talk about these issues that have nothing to do with the MBA. Popovich has a long history of offering his political takes. This becomes a no surprise to me that he says something like that. Well, I don't mind is giving his hot political takes, but if he's gonna give it take on Hitler, genocide, slavery in Columbus, somebody ought to ask him about the Uighurs and the ongoing genocide in China from which he profits yes and so much of sorry, someone should ask the silver and someone should ask a lot of the players who play in China, you know, what they think about that. Not so much more relevant, timely issue for the NBA, at least, but you're right, that there's sort of a double standard and you don't get the type of scrutiny. You're going to open everything up to politics. You might as well should be talking about issues that directly affect the NBA and the bottom line. "A policy will continue from last season during the corona virus restart bubble at Walt Disney World well the NBA won't test for marijuana there will still be random testing for performance enhancing products and what the league called drugs of abuse such as methamphetamine and cocaine decriminalizing marijuana has been a major topic at the government level for years and has been the case in the sports world as well American sprinter Shikari Richardson was left off the U. S. Olympic roster in Tokyo following a positive test for marijuana more than half of states in the US have decriminalized possessing small amounts of marijuana I'm a Donahue
Sen. Rand Paul Schools HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra on Natural Immunity
"But here's Rand Paul grilling HHS secretary baccarat about another simple question You guys take over the healthcare system You insult people on vaccines What makes us believe the government doesn't suck and you guys are so competent and baccarat has no answer Check this out Are you familiar with an Israeli study that had 2.5 million patients and found that the vaccinated group was actually 7 times more likely to get infected with COVID than the people who had gotten COVID naturally Senator do I have to get back to you on that one I'm not familiar with that study Well you think you might want to be if you're going to travel a country insulting the millions of Americans including NBA star Jonathan Isaac who have had COVID recovered look at a study with 2.5 million people and say well you know what It looks like my immunity is as good as the vaccine or not And in a free country maybe ought to be able to make that decision Instead you've chosen to travel a country calling people like Jonathan Isaac and others myself included flat earthers We find that very insulting because against the science are you a doctor or a medical doctor I have worked over 30 years on health policy You're not a medical doctor Do you have a science degree And yet you travel the country calling people flat Arthur's who have had COVID looked at studies of millions of people and made their own personal decision that their immunity they naturally acquired is sufficient But you presume somehow to tell over a 100 million Americans who have survived COVID that we have no right to determine our own medical care You alone are on high and you've made these decisions a lawyer with no scientific background no medical degree This is an arrogance coupled with an authoritarianism that is unseemly and un American There you go Can a nail did right there

Biden vs. Kavanaugh Sex Allegations Show Democrats' Jaw-Dropping Hypocrisy
"Moore back during the brett cavanaugh. Hearings that was three years ago. It's amazing to think three years ago. Brett cavenaugh stood in front of the united states senate to be confirmed to the united states. Supreme court you remember how the media covered brett cavenaugh as an attempted rapist. You see revolutionary movements like rich versus poor poor versus rich women against men and black versus white are helpful as a means to an end to get political power. The brett cavenaugh example was a great example of how they were trying to use a moment of a movement to try to get political power but if actually ever threatened one of their own they might send andrew cuomo out to pasture but they could replace it with the democrat. They might send an al franken out to pasture but they can replace it with a democrat but if ever was sending a joe biden out to pasture which means that a republican become president. No way because power in regards to what the left values what they prioritize is much higher on the hierarchy than actually caring about believing all women play cut sixty eight and attempted rape as though yes my supreme court nominee may be. An attempted rapists is attempted. Rapes potential attempted rape attempted rape. This is charge of attempted. Attempted rape a curry that is so critical to the nomination of judge. Cavanaugh high school drunk at attempted rape and attempted rape. This is a small example of what we had to deal with three years ago. But of course. Joe biden under credible accusations of groping women who worked for him tara reid and otherwise ignore it because we need him to become president so we can control the executive branch of the government
Some NBA Players Have More Courage Than Senate Republicans
"These nba players many of them have more courage than most senate republicans. I have to tell you. Kyrie irving someone that i would usually agree with. But he's standing his ground here. I have to tell you. This is pretty amazing. He says to reporters please respect. My privacy irving told reporters in zoom meeting monday regarding his vaccination status. What are these reporters doing asking people about their vaccination status to be a real demented person to go around asking people about their medical history. Let's play some tape. Cut forty eight jonathan. Isaac who. I have to say when he goes through this he is articulate. He is wise. He is clear far more than most senate republicans that i've heard on this issue and they have something to lose. These guys are willing to forfeit their salary millions of dollars in their career to not take the vaccine and the media doesn't really know how to deal with this people. Kinda call balls and strikes. They say Is this are these anti vaxxers or two black voices in black lives matter play. Cut forty eight. What is it about the vaccine that makes you Hesitant to to to get our start with I've had covert In the past and so our understanding of antibodies of natural immunity as a change the a a great deal from the onset of the pandemic and is still evolving. I understand that the vaccine would help if you catch kobe and You'll be able to have less symptoms on from contracting with me. Having covered in the passing to having antibodies on with my current age group. A fitness physical fitness level. Amish not necessarily a fear of mine. Very very articulate very moderate position of had coverted. Our position of. Antibodies is developing. And yes if you look at jonathan isaac. He's in pretty good shape. Who Wins When Leftist Activist Groups Clash?
"Who wins when there is a clash on the left between separate preferred activist groups who gets preference who wins now on the left. They have a hierarchy not any different than a hierarchy that you'd have any sort of organization you see. When the left has a moment of disagreement or conflict it is very important to realize that there is a structure of what matters more than something else i wrote a piece for human events dot com. Where i wrote it was literally called. This matters more than that now. Great example of this is when fao cheesy. The lockdown artists the anti-freedom activist mad scientist. Who is the best example of the technological and scientific elite that the left worships when he was even confronted by a talk show host were. They asked vouch e they said so. Do you think that young people should be should stop hooking up via tender and basically having very promiscuous relationships and fau. She said well you have to understand. There's some risk to that. He didn't denounce it because he understood that if he dared came out against promiscuous behavior for young people. There'd be a revolution because safety is one thing but pleasure matters a lot more than safety to the left instantaneous. Momentary pleasure is a value. The left understands that keeps their entire coalition together and vouching understood. This found she understood the zeitgeist the spirit of the times. He understood the narrative that you do not cross that line
"nba" Discussed on Open Floor: SI's NBA Show
"Not even the right word but on some level kind of respected. His commitment to just being chaotic In a way that. I'm like yeah you know whatever. He doesn't fit into a box and like those people are kind of interesting to me. But this is this is so far beyond. You know an posting a weird photo on instagram or cryptic tweet or whatever this is like it's publicly dangerous and you know people like him are who at the end of the day the reason why we continue to live Under these strange circumstances that we don't know if lives are going to get back to normal in just sad when you have someone who is Public facing him just just whipping this entire waiting on this as a good is a good way to describe it. I mean it doesn't have to be this way. Is that thing. I think you know. Doctors virologists Just met medical professionals have said for the past. However many months it doesn't have to be this way We don't have to have particularly just speaking about the nba for a second. We don't have to have such a like this doesn't have to be a bargaining issue like there is a there is a world where nba players are thrilled to get vaccinated. One hundred percent of them and the nba is thrilled to promote nba players Through psa's through Other means to kind of get the word out that getting vaccinated is the best decision that you can possibly make as a human being in two thousand twenty one. So when i read the article it was i felt depressed. I felt exhausted. Frankly that we're still here Private companies all over this country are enforcing vaccine mandates with termination as the result. If you do not get it so the fact that you know as one of the few nations on earth that has access vaccines Where still kind of toiling around and totaling our thumbs here and not a radical it It's just such a bummer..

Dallas Mavericks Sign Free Agent Frank Ntilikina
"The mass have a whole new front office in a whole new coaching staff. With jason kidd coming in. So i think there will be at least some sort of honeymoon. I don't know exactly. How long is all these new key. Figures get used to each other. But you're you're absolutely right. I mean dallas had big ambitions in free agency. They wanted to get kyle lowry. They thought lowry would be an ideal fit next deluca given his defense leadership being an old head the way and still shoot it lowry. They thought was ideal. Lowery went to miami forced his way there in a sign and trade and dallas's moves have also been just of the around the edges variety bringing in reggie bullock. I reported this week that they're close to signing frank ntilikina. That should happen but the mavs have not been able to make the splashy move and really. They're splashing move is going to have to be. Can they get kristaps porzingis. Back to the level he was playing at in the walt disneyworld bubble before he he sustained the second major knee injury of his
Toxic Relationships - burst 02
"But for me, I think a red flag is something that a lot of people ignore and I think it's important as Britney said, I had a very short relationship in between the two bad one and my good one. And I just knew pretty much off the bat. I didn't think it was going to be for me because of all the red flags that I normally choose to ignore and that in the last relationship I chose to ignore because I really, really wanted it to work out. So I had selective seeing selective hearing selective feelings and I tried to suppress the things that weren't going right. Looking back on it, I think that was the biggest mistake I made. This is not your typical sports show. It's real, it's raw, building top of the pop. You are now rocking with the space.

"I mean they don't even need all three rather than the dvd katie healthy. And then to me. It's like harden or kyrie. It's probably enough just because how good. Kb look Obviously it's gonna be interesting to see. Katie can do as the follow up to that acts where he seemed kind of reclaim that best player in the nba title and then goes right. Team usa dominant on that stage as well. So big year for kevin durant but a lot of fun running through that any any final takeaways you have from the running through. This definitely really enjoyed kind of putting it all together. No i think we hit the nail on the head. I know it was good to have some disagreement on find getting. Yeah getting some perspective on on where we think some of these teams line up but Yeah i think it's going to be a dogfight especially for that middle. Pack there that we talked about that six or that five through nine even the even the play in tournament team so definitely excited to see how this eastern conference shakes out and i think they've there's there's been a lot of great Roster upgrades for a lot of these teams eastern conference all matches excited for for the season to get started here real soon. Yeah pumped up for berry. Ron episode today moon. Af- where gonna people find you on twitter. Anything else you wanna plug for. Nfl thursday night football tomorrow. Yeah What else you wanna share that people. Yeah no just look out for Nfl in all dropping. The article for thursday night props also. Dan and i will be recording show tonight. Hopefully we can get there released overnight to you guys but other than that. yeah. I find me on twitter at sports day to four so dropping. Mlb plays on their Nfl week two plays or props will be up in our podcast and on the website so definitely look out for that but a lot of fun one more bed. I will be making for nba as a bed to kind of sign off here. I think that the Miami heat at ten to one to win. The conference is very very intriguing to me. Okay i mean. I think that that's interesting Definitely a good bet on the health of brooklyn nets So they go tend to win east for the miami heat for me. You'll find me on.

"A guy that can knock down three point shots you also so. I like what they did in the off season. I think that they should be in that conversation of being a top five a top five seed in the nba thirds in the eastern conference. Very excited for email daca. I think he's gonna be really hire for them. And i'm excited to see kind of how they play differently. Now with a after the brad. Stevens era with two wing combo with With jalen and jason. We seen kind of in outlay with paul george and kawhi leonard. It can really work. I know it can also be difficult setup and it's kind of similar to what the rockets are gonna try with. Kp jay and and jalen green having your best players. You know not be the point. Guard the ball hand. I'm a little bit lower on them. I mean i don't love the top end. Talent outside of those guys don't even love you know Necessarily the of those two guys but they also are. That's kind of seems to be consolidating. Some asset they could be they could be a trade candidate sneaky. You know bradley beal. He's best friends. Jason tatum i believe or at least both from saint louis so i'm not necessarily low on them. Had them at seven is where they were last year. Elvis similar type of season Hopefully jason does get help because you know. He described the f. Being scarce duration with this. Kobe situation I had the hawks at six with the sixers at six. I mean i. I'm also lower sexual hatami four. They would obviously at one last year. So you have met six main. Do you see this benson situating going sour. You see strayed coming in. Not making them as good. I mean what brings from one to six for you. Yeah i if you've got to take a look at their roster. Let's take ben simmons off of the roster. I'm not very high on this. Roster man i mean i m beat is a guy that just say i mean. He's had injury concerns he's been in and out of the lineup over the past several years But after that tobias harris you had a pretty good season last year under doc rivers. But after that i mean danny green. Seth curry shake milton. andre drumming. I mean come on man. I don't think this is a roster that's going to be able to compete with the a top four seed in the eastern conference so i'm not sure exactly where they're going to get from four. Ben simmons i for sure. Do not think that they're going to get a superstar player in return for him. Because i don't think the there's significant question marks on ben simmons now because of the performance at he had his stock is at all time low right. Now there's not going to be a team out there that's going to give up. You know great assets or even a star player in return for a guy like ben simmons right now so You know who knows if they get a starting point guard back in return if tyree smacks econo- fills in that starter position. But i think this is going to be too much for joel. Embiid into by harris to kinda carry this team as a top five seed in the eastern conference. Where a lot of these teams..

"Who were your four also wanna check. I mean i think different books do it differently for the to make the playoff odds to finish the top eight in the conference or that to make it after the plane. Tournament already happens. I think you'll have to be like a top eight seed ride because at that actually when the playoffs like start one three eight. I think the playing tournaments just an extra game just for ratings and things like that for the nba. But i think you might we. I think that's a great point site. But you wanna make sure whichever book your betting on to make sure you're either rules on on. Make miss the playoffs. Because that's a great point that you brought up. Yeah definitely and i think i. I've seen it. I think i. I think i agree with what you said. He doesn't want to check in on that. Because it's going to be tight in this. You know ten thirty six area of the conference so you wanna make sure that you know exactly what you're betting up. Who are your age through five..

Because i guess when you're watching them record and things like that he looks at one. But then it turned out that kramer Kramer's know a little shorter than i expected him to be. But i mean it was great meeting those guys. Fun having some conversations class skies Just just just happy to be part of the sgp and community. You know about boston. "Acquire someone like that So that could be. That could be an interesting move. They have obviously a lot of flexibility. Lot of moves. We made but definitely going under here anything else on the thunder entities teams in north west vision moon. I think this might be another like a team like thunder that her the some. They're young guys like the doored. Are the bazeley zad. They're going to be playing really really. Well get their stock up during the regular season and then a team that has a roster spot or needs a guy on the bench Contending team that are willing to give up first round pick that they do that with door or Or dairy based. You're someone of somebody else. So you know who knows they might be still trying to choir even more draft pick so That that's pretty much it for the thunder and You know i think we have three great teams or you know one great team the utah jazz to good teams with the With the nuggets into in the blazers. And you have to in this league or in the league in the western conference so Yeah what is what else. Where else can you say about these teams now. Nothing i mean. I think this could be a competitive division. Obviously the divisions don't really matter that much in the in the nba how it's structured solid rivalries here. I was nuggets. Blazers nuggets jazz Recent playoff battles I think i think you're looking at the division. I mean you're going to have solid teams here and that to me is emphasizes kind of more like if you're the thunder lead all these teams beat up on each other. Let them beat up on you and you know. Go collect your your lock at the lottery. C. wolves a really interesting year to kind of see where they go. Karl anthony towns. I think he the guy who could be a sneaky like if you were high on his t. wolves team like i would love sue. Maybe like car on the towns like mvp that because he's the one who's put up crazy numbers really comes down to like do a win games as he stay healthy that kind of thing but other than that. I mean it's fun episode and a lot of fun going through these teams here. Yeah hundred percent man and we're like day by day we get. I know we're getting closer to the nfl season but day by day. We're getting closer to the nba seeming season and training camp starting. We're seeing all these videos of guys on on twitter and gyms in you know putting in the work and it's starting to get ready for the season so You know another division that we've talked about our no. We still have a couple more that we're gonna talk about but a lot of nba contents still come in for us all. I'm excited man. Sermonov we're going to be. We'll find you on twitter. "G. p. r. comeback off the break the portland trailblazers win. Total at forty four and a half blazers. Last year were forty two and thirty. Obviously lose in the first round two the nuggets epic series for dame. But the rest of the team didn't look great around him now. Obviously off season with a lot of questions bringing chauncey billups moon af-. Are you still a believer. In in dame i had not fully committed to the anti dame Voice on the on the podcast. But i sent some tweets into the slack channel over the summer. Where you at where these blazers team. Yeah this is going to be a tough man because we don't know what the situation with dame is going to be It's just off. I think he's bought in for at least this season with the portland trailblazers because i think daimler's one of the more loyal guys in the nba right. It's gonna take a something catastrophic for this guy to be like okay. You know it's time for me to move on to another organization and right now it's not going to be the. La lakers anymore. Because they did get russell westbrook. So it'll be. I mean philly's has been the popular name with damian lillard but i i kind of like low key may like the offseason moves that they made right got picked up ben mac market. He's a good shooter. But then i think cody zeller. And larry nance junior at the ad depth. I think it's pretty significant that we're not talking about I don't know man. I kinda want to get your thoughts on it is. I think i think this is eighteen. That's going to be a stay away from me because who knows if this team has died doing well when the trade deadline comes around dad either. Cj mccollum or damian lillard lillard mega traded. Yeah i it's very similar. What we saw houston last year. Like i would make an. I was making the case last year. Like okay if they keep hard in like they actually would. They should have gone over the number line. A five hundred team is okay if hardens as you like it over. I think you've dame's day is over sixty last year. Forty two and thirty thousand williams. Cj getting hurt a lot of injuries all over the place. They had that kind of a late late. Push to get up to where they work. So i think all the pizza right there and chauncey billups as someone who very respected coach. Obviously there's a lot of issues Urges public you know controversy surrounding his hiring and whether or not dame endorsed a hiring looks like that's all been puts a bad and they're kind of focus. Cj mccollum new president the players association congrats to him I think he's geared up for huge year getting healthy. So i'm i'm with you i. They're all season. I liked his. Larry nance move norm powell with someone they had to bring back the got him back Hopefully nurk and be healthy. But if not cody. Zeller the minimum. I mean that is a really really good value. signing cody. zeller game You now have nance does doesn't simon's take another leap That would be nice but you know they have a lot of pieces on this team. And i i think damon cj healthy. They're gonna be a good season. I actually like this over forty four and a half..

"And i'm joined for this episode going to be fun lot of teams that we maybe asked disagreements on in this division here to break down in northwest division win. Totals moon off our bro. Well man how's it going know a you're talking about you took a week off in a little Trip hope you had fun Recharge your batteries a little bit. There i was at that trip was great. I did actually. I have a picture that i meant to send you. I got a picture outside. Ball arena really untouched with the nuggets. So the nuggets organization. You know little breckenridge breckenridge brewery outside stadium. Actually like it was kind of like now much going on really outside the arenas. I walked over there just to get the picture. Yeah but that was cool. Yes i see. I see a couple of the rina's division but yeah was out west. Seeing some of the national parks out there really beautiful time and gladdy back the nba. Talking with you. I i we were saying for his show. It's like just yesterday. We were that middle. Nba finals but did see tweet. We have Maybe less than two months so the nba regular season starts now young man. We're getting close. I think it's about forty five to fifty days away. I know it's gonna creep up on his real quick because we're going to be like head deepen in football season when argument notice that it's here but as always almost excited for nba sees a man. It's it's with all the player movements and trade that we've had over the off season and in all the signings and all that good stuff mandated can't wait for the season to start absolutely. Yeah definitely been you know looking at some of these guys from summer league now starting to see some teams coming together. Obviously we still have. Ben simmons damian lillard those type of names that still could maybe be in the news as we approach the season Plan bell. We're gonna get into some of these win totals and talk about teams in the northwest division. So again those things. We definitely have the nuggets in there. We're going to daimler talk. I'm sure the Anything nets call. Your is in the news recently. Hasn't been much really going on Other than you know the the lakers now get radon rondo today. Also we have that. We have that lowery marketing traders. Well what'd you think of that. Yeah that was involved. Well was that a separate trade from larry nassar's at three now. So that was that was larry. Nance to the blazers. Okay lowry market into the cavs and the bulls getting a first round. Pick and i believe about their jones junior. Yeah i i think the first thing was at marketing wanted to be traded or he wanted a fresh start somewhere else right. I think where he was going to get more minutes. I think cleveland is a good spot for him. You know you have your young guys with colin sexton. And gary's garland is a coro-. They signed jared allen too big contract so they have pieces there right. Evan mobely obviously so. It's going to be a good fun young team to watch out there in cleveland. I think this is a underrated. Pretty good pickup for the portland trailblazers nano. We'll talk about players. Union a little bit but i think just the versatility the athleticism the links..

"Luca turned around. He saw that. It was kobe bryant so i think those are the little things that the life skills in the so many languages at kobe. Kobe spoke in his life was absolutely incredible so You know. Just wanted to touch on kobe a little bit grabbing his forty third birthday But you know we miss toby. Being brian mamba i mean did the legacy that he left on. His game has truly been incredible. Yep narrow much more than that. He's one of the most influential players that we've had and probably will be in arguably ever hundred percent so one more note i wanted to get to was. I think this came down. Last week was Lebron getting zero votes on being the best player in the nba scott. What are your thoughts on this. You'd think lebron is no longer the best player in the nba. And after that news kinda came out. I think you know. Typical lebron post stuff on social media. Hashtag washed up. Hashtag will see what happens next. What are your thoughts on. Lebron not getting any votes as the best player in nba today. So i'm a little bit confused. Because not because the actual voting and how broke down but will bronze claiming that he's allegedly washed because he doesn't get respect that as the best player in the world anymore. Didn't he just say about five six months ago that he's never going to be the same again because of an ankle injury. Can you make up your mind to missing something. Typical brown right. I feel a little bron which is kind of an issue that i have not even just about him. Comparison jordan or anything like that. But i don't think i've ever seen a player who's as talented at his respective sport that goes out of his way to make himself a peers. Underdog more than lebron. You get it. People think that durant yasser better than you. You have the second lowest odds twenty title like why it's fine. You don't have to be the underdog your favorite to come out of the western conference like there are more important things than the media picking other players to be the best player in the world but yet lebron might be looking for motivation and everything but the guy tries so hard to be an underdog in every single situation and it's really annoying because we've seen him do stuff over and over again than most other players if not any other players in the nba could do now. Can you just keep your opinions about being underdogs to yourself or maybe like a week before you open it back up being harsh. Would you agree with me. And i agree with you. One hundred percent. He's always trying to take on that victim role. I guess you could say. But i don't know man. I certainly top five in the league today for sure right and nobody said he wasn't exactly but i think that yeah. I think kevin durant today healthy. Kevin durant is better than lebron. It might too crazy to say something like that. I'm not sure about jaanus. But kevin durant for sure i think so durant i think is i think. If you're going for the overreaction from the rest of the media. I think people would vote. Yawn is over lebron. I don't know i would. But i do think that because of the title and everything like that people would pick yang us to be better than lebron. I grew durant. I think durant the best player in the world. Just one healthy. Just because the fact that. I know that's lost the series to milwaukee when you look once again at the supporting cast that he had or the lack thereof for the last couple of games and the fact that durant had two huge games where he put a basically fifty any at that crazy shot where if his toes behind the line. That's one of the best shots in the history of the nba. Yeah and unfortunately now..

"Winslow if he's healthy which is always a huge. If i'm still pretty high in the clippers. So i like this move for them. And i think bledsoe's a much better roll a much better position to succeed with the clippers and he has been in a few years. Okay so we have. An email from darren about the golden state warriors. Do you wanna read that now or do you want to get into it. When we discuss. I feel like the warriors are gonna come up when we do this. Dynamic duo ranking. Do you want to kind of throw it in there. Do you want to get it out of the way now. Wow i wasn't. I didn't know that this was like a. I was going to have a choice today. This is my co pilot co-pilot on. Let's wait let's wait. Let's jump into the duo's because we know that this is inevitably going to go off the rail. So i of course throw in another curve ball in the middle. You know it's like it's like in the middle of iron chef. When the chairman throws in his curveball culinary. Curveball will say that. I've never seen iron shift and you keep referencing it on the show so i just smile and nod. I don't know what's going on. But that's okay. That's not a big deal. I feel like. I don't need to understand the ship to get your reference. I mean listen. There's two Amazing stages for people to perform one is the nba finals. The other is kitchen stadium. Snow you know. That's While you've been watching several. I guess i'm just watching iron chef. America apparently Okay let's get into this dynamic duo conversation i'm actually I'm very excited. I'm very excited to have this. I okay. I feel like the nba is This is where the league is right. Now i minus the brooklyn nets who just their own thing and you know something that the lakers have a big three. I personally do not. I think that dynamic duos Are a lakers. If the lakers had spencer dinwiddie would you consider them a big three. No but i would think that they're better because he's a better fit. Okay so i feel like that's just going to hang over my head for the first time and okay with i respect deal. Yeah okay so do you want to so i have. Let's see here. i have five honorable. Mentions and no. That's not allowed new. You're not allowed to read your honorable mentions. Should i save those for after we can. We can kind of. Because i feel like the listeners are going to be. There's a lot of duos that are really good. And that's why that's what makes this difficult is that you have to pick ten of them. You can't be like here. Actually fifteen that. I liked that defeats the purpose of the exercise. Okay fair enough. So there's really no specific parameters that i gave you is based on who the most talented who complements each other the best. It's the most problems if you're playing. Nba gm. Who would be your first as a team..

"Silver bronze for years up basketball olympics. let me see. Let me pull up the bracket again. I think you will find a way to get to the finals. I mean when you have kevin durant owner another list. Yeah the nba talent. There's no reason that you shouldn't get to the finals. I would love to see slovenia versus usa in the in the nba finals. Luca versus the world. I think will be crazy. That would be a lot of fun to see. So i'm gonna go with that team. Usa led by these nba superstars. Luke daunted Bedia against a team. Usa in the final on saturday. That that's something that. I'm gonna be rooting for thing. Could for sure happen opportunities to get down slovenia looking forward to it again so you some gains tonight and then throughout the rest of the week. I believe the champion. The finals are on saturday. I think so. Yes a lot of basketball this week. Munoz great show this morning. Deals like luca and trae they can be offered. There's until midnight eastern By that i mean. I think we're gonna see a lot of movement of signings. Hopefully it'll be a crazy. Nba free agency. Like we're used to So i'm excited for man. Yeah mark stein actually did just report that. Luca is expected to sign a five year. Two hundred twenty million dollar extension with dallas so there that won't be wrapped up. Looks like earlier than sooner Yet great show this morning. I'm working people find you on twitter. "The app crosswalk buys sells. Or spats i kind of back off the break. Any other picks throughout the rest of the first round that you wanted to hate on picks you like didn't like moves you moves you You know saw what they were doing or didn't didn't see any. I think the other one for mere sue is going to be the spurs at twelve Yeah i thought this was a big shock for me because like we had mentioned with the nba draft preview. That we did with a ready with dan dan. I thought a big man would go there because they didn't have that presence right. They had have great guards on that team. They have good wing depth but front court was issue in thought would end up getting jones or or or schengen at that position but they went another shooting guard and then The pick right. After that i have to formally thank you for this. I am pointing towards the direction of crystal arte Routine because i mentioned yeah when he had i mentioned this his draft position at nineteen and a half and i quickly quickly pounded absolutely pounded that under and then route. I was checking his Drag position every single day now dropping it in our inner slack channel telling you doubt seventeen and a half sixteen and a half i think he got all the way down. Fourteen and a half. So what under that one. Yeah i think honestly. I was even lead to it. I think in process he was closer to like twenty high twenty s I also was able to get down on pro. Twenty six and a half. I think primo was one of the old. I think he was the youngest player in this draft and he has a very tools. The obviously didn't produce that much alabama as really young freshman. But i think he's one of those guys like yeah..

"And we're back here so let's let's kick it off to the next squad here. Imagine a lottery pick here. Do you think that they're going to keep this pick. And if so where do they go here. I mean they could definitely use additional shot. Creators could also use a big man. They already got their potentially. If they scotty bars they already got their wing. Do you think they're going to address. Any other score needs propagation the backboard and if they do is this a spot where maybe you could grab a davey on mitchell. Who's right now. His prop bets are sitting at. I think he's sitting at twelve and a half over under. I think he could be had at at an at the spot. Here at number eight. I think for for the magic. I mean. they're not going to be going anywhere anytime soon. So i think this is where probably take. What's the best player available and just just get as many players and develop them and see what happens because like we said on this roster. The names that we talked about with the number five pig. They have so much potential in this team. It's about who's gonna pan out and and develop and be a star in the nba From me i actually had moses moody here going to the magic. The number eighth pick is the guy that they that the magic in us as far as shooting and having another wing guy Call anthony not the greatest doesn't have the greatest shot again market melker marquel. Foltz also a guy. We know he was suiting. Overshooting shooting also you kind of have to get some shooters on this ross. Strapping moses moody fits that mold very well for the Orlando magic and then. Also pairing dow scotty barnes. I think those are going to be two pretty good picks for the Further orlando magic. I like it. Yeah moses moody. I mean he dropped seventeen points six rebounds in in about two assists so definitely more of that shooting guard mold. The at six six versus my my pick of david mitchell's six foot drop. Fifteen points in five is about five assists in his last season. At a believe. It was baylor david on mitchell. Yep yep oh yeah and both of those guys right now..

"Only been a week since the nba finals ended in now. We're you know we have team. Usa going on and we still have the nba draft so basketball asleep right now. It really doesn't. And i feel like you know we've had this low of like man. What are we going to have a chance to talk the nba draft here. Because you know there's been tons of rumors flying around whether it be free agency stuff you know teams that are looking to position and move around in the draft and stuff like that but i think wednesday was like the perfect time for us to get together talk about what we think is going to happen in the lottery. At least we're going to go through some of those picks as well as give out some pets for that as well as you know breakdown team. Usa you know. We finally got a win here recovering from that loss to to france in group a so. Let's waste time man. Let's get into the action. Let's start off with team. Usa first off you know they had a crazy spread of forty one and a half and they actually managed to cover. They won twenty to sixty six today or late last night. I guess i should say but yeah any surprises from that game. I mean. I don't think really unexpected. Us to lose that game. I think now it's going to be more so of you know. Are they going to be able to get out of group. A more than likely Really what the path to the the golden medals looking like. They're still the odds on favourite. But i don't know there might be some value shooting for other teams like i dunno slovenia. Maybe you know rants. Even you know we saw luca. Go offer damn near fifty points crazy. Just want to get your thoughts on first team. Usa and the iran match. And then kind of what. You're looking forward to in the the rest of the olympics. Yeah i think the expectation for team..

"Against that you know. Do you think that there's a move. Where since they have this glut of wings I i like collins. I would want to keep him around if i can within reason. But since they had this glut of of wings Do you do you think that they could sort of parlay that for an all star a guy who is like a big time creator or do they need to do you want to follow the suns game plan hair bringing a great veteran is that is that what you're proposing there who would that even be. Who who would even be affordable at that point. I know they've talked about like mike conley. Potentially being on the move. I know but. I don't know that who would be out there. That would be a good fit in that sense. I mean i think we did see the game plan though the two teams in the nba. Finals chris paul and jae crowder. Add to the phoenix. Suns to veterans to a younger team helped complete that roster and then for the box of course added drew holiday before the season got. Pj tucker before the season at brook lopez with a couple years ago. Who had some awesome moments throughout this postseason dominated offensively in game five dominated defensively for long stretches in game six. I i'm really really excited. Kyle for buxton's. I'm really really excited. For the series. I none of these players either. Auster have ever won an nba finals or seeing some first timers in the finals. That are legends. janas will play at some point. If that chris anes report is accurate that he could have gotten the green light for greens game seven. At some point we are going to to janas playing in the nba files two time. Mvp finally gonna get an opportunity. We're going to see chris. Paul and year sixteen and steam years. Chris paul is going to get a chance kyle. I'm to stoke. There's so many likable players are both sides. Chris middleton's fun to watch drew holidays awesome. Pj tucker plays the way. I would hope any player wants to play. How could y'all wanna play like pj. Tucker with the intensity he has in the phoenix size. You get mckell bridges with eight foot long arms andrea and going from a guy who people say. Oh it doesn't try hard. He doesn't have intensity to being one of the leaders of that defense. Anchoring them being a constant enforcer on that end of the floor yet devon booker going off. It's just so many likeable guys campaign. Kurt kyle this is. This is a very likeable nba finals. You really got jazz there for a second man. This is gonna be good. This is gonna be good. No i mean it is. I'm really really excited to see the the wink. I think it's it's a wing driven match up that's going to be. It's just gonna be fascinating to watch because yeah well. My wires crossed there for a second. But yeah i mean who. Who do you think that they're gonna put drew on is going to be a question you know. I think that that's going to be interesting. Drew drew guard at all. Five positions tonight was insanely impressive. Defensively that Do you think who do you think the matchup is even even though we expect them to kind of go towards like switch heavy scheme who who who do. We think they sick him on is going to be. Booker is going to be c. P. three i mean i kind of feel like it might be c. p. three to be honest well during the regular season holiday defended chris paul for forty. Two possessions defended devon booker for twenty five possessions and the primary defender on booker was chris. Middleton we did see in this series specially in that fourth quarter at times dogs. They'd try to attack middleton a little bit maybe we'll see them alternate. I could see a situation in which it's giralda you stick on the hot guy. If it's a chris paul night drew holidays on them. Devon booker night drew holidays on them but that does get back to one of the things we talked about earlier. Kyle with the switching scheme. I mean drew holiday very well might star possessions on chris. Paul can't imagine a scenario in which the that we see the bucks switch a one five pick and roll if de'andre and screening for chris. Paul and then brook lopez goes onto chris. Paul and then you have the andrea and be being defended by jrue holiday. I don't see that but you never know like we. We very well could because this is sort of been a theme here. We saw the clippers. Do this against the jazz. Trying to limit rudy gobert. Who could not beat them. We saw the clippers tried against it worked at times would that switching and we saw that in this series of the bucks switching against the hawks at times taken clinton capella because that rim running in the gravity when it forces the defense to suck into the paint it can open up shooters and a whole slew of offense of opportunities so i do wonder if maybe we could see that even if it doesn't make total sense on paper you have chris paul on an island against brook lopez. I'm intrigued cry. Because i'll tell you what kyle brook lopez's did not look like a liability duty. No he did not at all. I thought that honestly. I think brook lopez made a ton of big plays in this game and i thought that they they were really. They really dictated their own pace really well and pick their spots. I thought i'd i never really felt like i. I know charles was kind of busting their chops at halftime about them. Settling and not get into the rim I thought over the course of this game. They did start to pick their spots.

"And you know. It's not nearly as personally painful. As that bubble experience would be but again as outsiders. We have no ability to fact. Check that number. In terms of what's the real impact and the nba does have motivation to kind of inflate that number or to make it seem bigger to kind of increase the pressure on the players. Right yeah for sure. But i mean generally speaking. I'm just always optimistic. That these two particular sides owners the league Verse the players will always figure something out when it comes to labor negotiations because especially right now as.
