"Making money. I'm sure they'll know couple. I get a couple of them. You know obviously dated stereotypes that you wouldn't draw today but i didn't really see anything like this is racist and then a couple of them were just so outlandish like the eskimo fish one. Did you see that one. Yeah it's just fish that just kind of have like a furry of you like they're wearing a coat you know what drives me nuts about that is like anyone you know you you draw cartoons anyone drawn cartoons you exaggerate like the facial features of different people like to reflect their their personality and their ethnicity and that's just what cartoonists do. There's nothing racist about it they're vastly racists look at milana mwana. They have a very like pacific islander. Look to the way their their faces are. Is that racist you know. We'd be canceling mwana and like ten years. Yes that's the thing i think i remember. There was a list of you if you look at what terms are considered racist overtime. They weren't racist than they are like. All the different terms use african americans. I mean what you call them now black or after all different terms down through the history of your call those getting changed the bar moving and i think that that's part of it too because i think that some of the drawings time like it wasn't it wasn't a reich. I hate chinese people. I'm gonna chinamen like this. Just reflecting that the culture of those people anyway people just can't they just can't get pointing out was racist. Was like a chinese boy who eats with sticks like slightly slanted eyes and he's holding chopsticks. No but how many. How many different places can you find that type of animation. Right over you know. I mean they have to cancel them all probably disney movie somewhere. I mean if you if you drew a chinese character in the disney movie and you didn't and you made them look like a white person people would freak out as whitewashing yes whitewashing but if you make them look like an asian person. That's is that racist to like. Make him like a really beautiful radiant version and i had this could undermine caricatures and if somebody like a black guy or someone down i would go crazy on. The white people dislike just embarrass them. Walk off crying. So i try to really dislike stick. Honestly this guy not saying his big and just try not to draw. I'm just trying hard self-censorship either interesting everyone all right well. Here's our last. Our last cancelled thing this year. Trump's tweets heard that stings a we shouted into the heavens asking. God why we'll never forget you. Trump's tweets cafe for the moment of silence..

So nick has now successfully had all of us all the five ish fan grills. You've done it nag. You cheapens the on locked. My friend could say that he that he that they have all all by bangles. No only dj. Nick so also all right so moving on to feedback some feedback from chalene and She says that she thinks is a good idea for disney to make The star wars series. But you know we talked about all the disney investor stuff from recent announcements and she. She too is also excited about all the star wars series instead of films which again we will get to those spoilers extra week many many many. I know it's hard to talk about to talk about it. Yeah anyway it doesn't. We'll get the the the disney plus star wars. Roller coaster is definitely on upswing One thing that we did not mention because there's so much to talk but it's they did announce as they are going to be doing series on disney plus based on mwana Princess and the frog and zootopia and chalene is quite excited about those because she did love those movies and she does like Dizzy has done taken some of their movies and turn them into series in the past like aladdin. Obviously we had the Emperor's new school ever knew herve. Hercules had his own. You know series there for awhile so So yeah it should be should we found those are all good. Movies are a really good. Yeah we will cover eventually like set universes. I would like to would like to know more of so. Definitely yeah they. They all definitely lend themselves well to to exploring more of those those things. So we'll see how it goes yeah She also says that she has no desire to go. See indiana jones five. Join the club. But she is excited to go see ray in the last dragon in theaters. She thinks she's going to go. See that in theaters and not on disney plus with the perio- access you know depending on where you live. You know your local maybe cheaper. So yeah that's true. Indeed that is uh that is all subject to Your local theater and what they charge for Tickets i guess. And then another thing that we didn't mention but was part of the disney announcements as we are getting a sequel to enchanted with. Amy adams returning as judges I'm still trying to figure out how i feel about that one. But i chanted i liked like my favorite but i remember. Yeah i liked it. I just don't know that. I want a sequel. But we'll see. I haven't seen it. I know the music. I thought the song added. Unfortunately it's not on disney plus you can't watch making a sequel going to have. I would assume so. I yeah i 'cause yeah i wonder if it's still netflix's or something weird. I don't know i'll check that out. Yeah i'm not sure where it's currently residing on the interwebs. So i'm sure it'll move to disney. Eventually my guess is it's probably stuck in distribution elsewhere in the meantime so i mean it was. It was like it was a good premise. The whole cartoon disney princess coming to the real world. I it was. yeah it was. It's a it's a lot of fun. It's a really good good idea. And i'm glad that disney did especially because shrek and all them were actively making fun of disney up. I'm in so they're like well here. Let's just do it ourselves and it was. You know kind of it was a cute little. Send up of all of their tropes wasn't like mean-spirited or anything. Yeah like yeah we do that and it's you know it's fun. Yeah so so. We shall see what happens with the sequel. But thank you. Shall elaine for your feedback as oh way you know. We love reading. But sometimes it's hard to find time to physically sit down with a book. "Now i'm thinking four years you know you do four years of this ultimate universe and then when you end it it's not the cries of like. Oh this failed because they try diversity. It's just like for your plan executed that and we'll rebooted again to reflect more society's at in two years or whatever there. Yeah that's a good plan Charlotte's next thing here. I'm actually not looking at it. I just remember is less american right. That's i you know. I don't mind like the american stuff in this book. Like spider-man's american but like there's just such a big world of cultures and stuff that it's boring to just do like yeah the american military. Cia again right like as a as that What's his name. The superman smashes the clan author g. Yeah wrote that. Chinese superman thing fascinating great comic super bowl right like so you know a more. International avengers may be like put spider man in a different country. Whatever like just get weird with it. Stop trying to play the hits. I think if you're gonna do that because this is the thing that mobile does try every so often and they're gonna try tried again with the union okay which is uk series It rarely works. Yeah rarely works in the early universe. They're currently have this going on with i think. Greg papa's writing some some books that are focused on like a new lineup of heroes. And i am very behind the ideas. But you don't see these books taking off and there are a lot of examples in their past. I think i. I don't know what the exact answer is. I i would say like if you're gonna do an alternate universe version of it make more global which i think is cool I don't maybe do things with the comic that reflect the way comic book stories are told in those countries like for france. Do it in the french style. You know the way they're comics have been presented typically size seldom in different sizes with its. It's got a name. I just don't know what i'm not on. I don't read them very often. with with You know things that are centered in china. Right like dua manga okay. Like that's that's interesting to me. I think that's too big of asked to sell. You know if you're talking. But i think the way you do it as you actually. I mean you do the way that even like disney has gotten better in the way that they subsume all culture right like if you watch moulin back from ninety nine versus mwana right like mwana is so much more informally on ninety nine versus mulan. Twenty twenty sure i. I haven't seen the new one but like in either mwana is just so like integrated into this polynesian culture compared to milan which feels just like i mean. It's got What's that guy's name. Harvey fierstein is one of the chinese soldiers. Yeah it's so american right chris. Rock is running around in there and it just feels so think. It's eddie murphy. You know we can swing someone else and as the dig- got on it became clear that it wasn't going to happen and then it became a matter of keeping my name out of as many people's off of the voting patrons so I went to Jackie. The only ones are going to vote for me on this acquisition from Israel. Because he's very easy to read. I can cop two votes to who is fine with me so I thought maybe we can still Jag. This with the plurality vote and still get out Milana so I go into trouble council thinking the other thing was. I wasn't too stressed because I knew with both tribes being there that that was going to be some sort of twist and that if the name did come up some sort of twists could kind of work that to my benefit so actually wasn't very stressed.

"Go ahead. Julie. Well, we've got a very long delay. Unfortunately. I don't even know if I want to be able to take calls. Julia there. I can hear you. Okay. Go ahead. Okay. I called you a while back. I had money in annuity that you know, obviously did not do. Well, it was a tenure annuity. The town was about to come up point. When I took it out. I put it in vanguard things. We're looking at. And I put it in some. Some of it had to say into an annuity and some had to go into mutual funds. And so I did some of the stock market index different things that were kind of riskier. But it's money that I don't have to use now, but with the market doing so awful, I'm very tempted detect them out. Well, you know, it's a huge mistake for everybody. And it's very common. You know, we put money in the market when things are good. We wanna we wanna do that. So we're buying in on good news. And then we start selling on bad news. So we get in high and we sell low, and we take our losses. It's what the average person does all the time. And it's a huge huge mistake. I think that when you got in a you you when you get in anytime, you get into the market you have to get in extremely committed. And you can't just think of the good time that it's going through right now, you've gotta think that if I'm going into the market whether it's an index annuity or whatever or an index fund or whatever it is when you're going into the markets. You've got to be thinking that I'm getting in for the long term, and yes, it's the market. So I know it's going to go down. And I know it's going to go back up. And I know it's going to go down. And I know it's going to go back up. You know? I know that's how it goes. So when anybody gets in you've gotta get in with that kind. Might set. So this is the time right now is the time when people ought to be thinking about getting into the market yet. Everybody's gonna wait for the good news, and everybody's happy. And it's looking real good. And then they get in. But now's the time when everybody should be getting in and in a similar way. This is the time when you've got to stay now, you if if you if this is not money that you're going to need in. You know in the near future. Then you have got to stay. Yes. I mean, you wasn't that not only did things. Yes. Pull back and get a little bit bad. But you also got in high. So now, it's starting to get normalized a little bit will reach that high in the next, you know? Period of time. I don't know next year or two or so yes, it certainly will probably go higher by if you get out now you've taken the loss. And now you now you've got real money that is lower than what you had before you put it in right now, it's just on paper, and it has an opportunity for to gain back again. So since you said now, I don't use. I don't recommend and I want everybody listening to understand. I am not recommending. Vanguards index on they're not Biblically responsible. I don't recommend them. So I don't want anybody to think why heard you recommend. No, this is a person that's already in the fund. So I you you almost have to stay in do I think it will recover. Sure. Do I know when no I don't. But it could be today it could be next week. But in all likelihood, it is it is going to recover, and we've got to be, you know, we've got to be patient. You know, once we get into the market. We've got to be thinking on a from a long-term perspective that we are going to get into the market for a long a long period of time. And if you've got eight to ten years, then you've gotta stay. And I know this is not something that you would. Mwana do probably, but the best thing somebody could do right now, particularly to Durham mutual funds. If they're down considerably is to add more money to it. Because now you're going to help out your average cost basis, and you're going to recover a little bit sooner. I know that's not something that that. You know, a lot of people are gonna wanna do. But that could be one of the best things that that you could do right now. So I wouldn't get out. I mean, it's up to you. If you're really uncomfortable. Then of course, you know. That's fine. If you're losing sleep over then you should get out, and maybe go into some CD's or something like that. Okay. Yeah. I guess my concern was my first time to really get in the market was March of two thousand eight right before. Sorry. Yeah. Go ahead. Was March way right before everything tank. And so. Find immediately went to happen. Yeah. It did come back. But as a result because I was talking to put in. It went, you know, only made four percents that ten years, which is horrible. And you know, I guess maybe that's not gonna happen. Hopefully this time, but I just I'm trying to keep that. Yeah. Yeah..

"Well, in the first place getting, you mentioned a couple of people obviously mwana like, you know that you're friends with now, but was in the game. Did you know about auto and if so, how would that of impacting you? Not so much working with her at that point, the Nari in our Maui wearing from day one. So she was here and I were in this alliance from day one, just the two of the sacred kind of a little alliance. And I knew that she was working with Matt and achie- had told me that she wanted to make the end. I the laser on that and I didn't know about our auto. And I often these afterwards after the game, I said, why didn't you tell me about your idle time? Said I didn't. I knew I had a trust. I didn't have to prove it to you that she feels that she had to prove it to Matt this washing. She gave in the idol. Sorry that was yeah for her. And I actually. That I challenge with the slide. We're standing as people with learning down. We had a little conversation. She said, I like you. I wanna work gears so it was like real quick. Quake. She was onto me like she was like, I wanna work the sorry, and I like to just happened. So it was right, but that was really difficult for me. Damage you seek. That was my gameplay in my kind of Ferch that I was going to work with and ultimately had to order at. Sorry. You mentioned Jackie's someone who absolutely loves the show. Yeah. What was your thoughts? What are your thoughts on Jackie implying here? Because she seemed like she was on the ropes for quite a while because she wanted to play that more bombastic solid game play, and and that didn't quite gel with the general vibe like, yeah, key. Tell us a little bit about that. Yeah. Yeah, you're absolutely right. Sorry, Jackie again, being game player and understanding the game, she wanted to get in there and do that early. And that didn't gel with everyone else, particularly Matt and stave ain't like his style. Sorry, I think that really caused that rift there and for her, she was always be the next one that was going. Sorry. The guy got along with Jackie quite well and Nick. That was one of the things I try to do. They get along with everybody like relationships with everyone from the style, including shine and Sam, all of them. So I had a relationship with Jackie too, and she was Oviously giving me info about various things that, yeah, I think you know, even though we didn't know that she wasn't. Acute that he was park apply. You can kind of tell when things are awful. I certainly can't, and I knew there was something. Why. So did you feel that you feel? Well, I don't know whether I can trust you, sorry. Yeah, she was gonna play a great game. Does she explain to you? The picture of holding the rubik's cube at the reward are just wanted to. Johnny. Because my father was up to, and I was so young because I was young when I was admitted in when I graduated union stuff, and everyone was like Sean young, I don't like I was young. On like else because these things you don't want that to be evident to your competition and you don't want them to. Yes, yeah. So Jackie was the same. So the two of us are dependent. False are thinking, I don't want anyone that this is what I, but it was ever of energy that something really quickly about Jackie. Like I'm circling all the way to the end, but in funk, trouble council. Shane mentions that getting rid of Jackie was one of the biggest moves in the game. Like did that kind of sound. We'd you in the fact that she was on the road, Jackie was on the road along it was that really that big of a move and it happened weeks. Not wanting to say like, hang on a second shine..

"But most of the live action Disney adaptations have been of like the Walt Disney classics. And this is the first it's kind like not like one of those beloved fairytale stories that they're trying to adapt. I guess, lady and the tramp isn't a fairytale story either. But you know, every time I go to Disneyland, the stitch merchandises like out of control there is like they sell so much merchandise based on that movie I, it was only a matter of time before this is going to happen. I can imagine that stitch will be like a CG creation and we'll have a young, Hawaiian star kind of I almost picture kind of like, you know. It would being optimistic here, Chris, but I think if done right, this could be like a fun mwana. I've action kind of movie, I guess. I mean, yeah, there's material is there to do something good. It's just, I don't know. I'm just getting. This film was so recent. There's really no reason for Disney to remake it. I don't know why they're so hell bent them. I mean, I know why they wanna make money, but. It's getting a little tiresome. There's remaking everything, but there's definitely the chance this could turn out. Well in the movie has such great style has some good music, but it doesn't really have a strong story, Brad. Do you have any connection with Leland Stitcher? You excited for live action remake. I really liked to Leila Wednesday, which when it came out, it's not one of my favorites or anything like that. But I think that it's it's pretty funny and I can see where it had the potential for like maybe like an Amblin kind of style live action movie because it had has flares t. and things like that. But it's also a little bit bigger and more cartoony than that because you know, there's the

"So Mat Rogers go to pick someone to come, have breakfast with you. Now we as an audience knew that this was going to happen because it was going to be because of the moment in the previous episode where you're talking to the previous the other tribe off on the top of the box, they know it. So can you first of all, tell us a little bit about why you made that decision to talk to them on the up on the scaffolding, and then did you know that other people had heard you? Yes, sir. Look originally, it happened with the reward challenge with. The era pause. So Jonathan off made that was the morning off to stay, went hard, and I was obviously thought and Jonathan off me how travel woes and probably in that moment aren't the something to guard may. I think my anger and my. Why shouldn't took over may at I said something like, well, it wasn't a unanimous sports naturally, that might everyone questioned their relationships in talking about myself, not anyone. Then the next challenge I was on the top of the the platform while the others were doing the canary rice at up there with Matt mwana and Jackie. And basically we had a wall to talk to each other because the other part was taking longer. And I think Milana was the one that said, oh page, what were you talking about when he said it wasn't unanimous, and I said, oh, will I got blindsided lot people voted from a star that was great. Like I just was being very lot had it about it. I wasn't thinking that this is strategy. You know, this is may China, China dob on my tribe. And I think the two west table that I could have been up there with a native. His Zach was one of the ones that voted for me and NATO was one of the ones that obviously, I knew she was gonna take something like that to how you saw immediately. A NATO was, oh, okay. What's had like she just thought it was like I was breaking a rule or something. And then Zach was sort of saying something like, oh, but you know, I was told to vote few raw luck. It wasn't may low on this. He wanted make on. Sorry, economy all tat from that. So you know, when obviously than that, was that the that a native confronts with me in front of everyone. And she said, oh, I'm surprised. He would tell them what's going on. And I said, I said, it doesn't matter. They can't do anything with that inflammation and also on the one that got blindsided soccer doing. I want to. Tiny Asli on the bottom, but yet I wasn't. It's like it was like North Korea like I wasn't allowed to the fact that I almost got voted out of will happen right now. So how did that of then spill over into the breakfast? So did you know you get chosen by Matt? How was that conversation? Did you feel like you wanted to tell him even more, or were you now gunshot because of what they reaction was speaking up the top of the platform. It was. It's not like I could go back on that now. I'll like I don't usually pretty much gave the outline. So I kind of was like, well, I'm not gonna go lying about it now and the sex of the Matt. It was not was never gonna pick it so that you know who'd out or about Trotman is because he didn't want any of the guys to have a good thing to strengthen its line, JR. And then the other goes, well, why wouldn't you people on this? You've already kind of too little and look..

"Large headed joke on Twitter. He was like, these call it into a sock or sock is what is what keeps us to call. Oh, man. All right. My my tenth through six, the the shape of water number ten had to put on a the Oscar winner. Mwana number nine. Oh, had to put Milan at super water-based love Milan at great music. So the best is music number eight Titanic. I mean that's maybe the most popular film of all time involving water. I think it's right up their jaws number seven finding nemo and number six gotta go with pirates pirates of the Caribbean, none of the others, the all the rest fucking stink. I the older I got the more soured on the sequels used to love them when I was younger, and then I realized like those those complete guards, if trans their transformers syndrome. Oh yeah. And they're still going to make another one. I may be. Maybe Johnny Depp movie got pulled or something like that. So not sure because you can't make them without checks barrel though. If they think they'll make money, I'm sure they will dotty ten thirty six top ten water related movies. All right. Number ten. The Phantom Menace. Charger banks in his voice lived underwater. I feel like that was the first city I saw underwater and I like love those little devices. They used there was just a little kind of a mouthguard and they would just put it in their mouth then could breathe underwater. And they just like swam into the city. I like I thought that was definitely one of the coolest scenes, the movie they have like crazy chase where they're being chased by some gigantic see monster, and then another Seamaster four times the size comes out, eats him. And then I think another sea monster, like six times the size will ask him and they drop that corny joke. There's always a bigger fish. There's always a bigger fish, bigger fish that. Not not interrupted with George Lucas best written lines is jar saying ou Guber fish. George touchstone. All right, continue. Yeah. So judge our banks obviously socked, but I did think the design of that of the the underwater metropolis was cool. Moving onto nine alligator. I don't know if you as a result. I have that on my friend had it. Yeah, Burt Reynolds may have been in it. So. Like I have no idea alligator in Lake Placid are the only crocodile alligator movies I've seen, but alligator was the original and that's on the list just because of one scene where they're at night. So there's an alligator. It's pretty much someone gets an alligator as a pet when it's really small and their parents like, you can't have that. You can't keep it. So she flushes it down the toilet. It lives in the sewers grows big. And then it finally leaves the sewers and terrorizes a couple of small towns. But there's one scene where they're out this, like they're at a party at a house and a bunch of like five year old walkout back with, there's a pool and they're playing pirates, and they make one of their friends like walk the plank off the diving board. But the big alligator had gotten in the pool. So they're like, walk the plank, and then he gets to the end of the diving board, and he looks in the pool. There's a giant alligator and he's like, there's a monster in. They're like, walk it and these five year olds push another five year old into the pool, and he gets eaten gets. He gets. Eight right there. So that's making because I saw that movie probably twenty years ago, and I still remember that moment. It was terrifying watching that at a young age. Moving on, we'll go deep Lucy, I gotta give out some credit. I, I love that movie at the time. I don't think it really stands up if I watched now, but just for that scene where Samuel Jackson is going on an epic rant, and then the the, shark just wakes up and. Bites him in half like that. I wish that the Meg had seen like that, but it didn't really like nothing as graphic. Is that. And then I got like two more that, I guess I'll group in. There's a sphere to cease fear. Oh yeah. Yeah, I I saw that forever ago..

"They're kind of tough to categorize like equal parts, sort of my j pop, and electric music and hip hop. They are a trio. There's a director named director f. It's actually DR dot f. which I have to imagine as director f earth and a producer named Kim moti, hidden fuming, and that he is the producer of most of their music. And then there's coma y, who is the vocalist and she is. She's also the face of the band. The other two actually kind of prefer an empty. They never appear in their music videos or onstage performances. It's it's just a coma y who who is who is the sort of face in the band. They're really eccentric really fucking fresh. The music that they make is really lake inventive. And really, really catchy the dabble in a lot of different genres. All their music videos are fucking brilliant. If you enjoy the music you're about to hear. I like totally recommend going down the rabbit hole attack, spent my entire day today. And it was so good because all their music videos are so fucking good. So I originally found Wednesday, camping through Spotify. This cover, of course, a few months ago with this one track that I'm gonna play a little bit later, but I didn't really dive too deep. I like this one song added it to like my good songs playlists that I've been accumulating since I lived in Chicago and then didn't dive deeper and tell this past week. I learned that they last week did a collaboration. They released a collaboration with one of my favorite electric music groups, churches or traverses. I was lucky enough. I got to see them live in Austin. I think last year and men, they fucking rule. If you're if you're not familiar with their Scottish sense pop band, they've been around for. Like half a decade or so they did the song, the mother we share, which was probably their biggest hit. So they have a considerable following in Japan. And so they did the song with Wednesday Campanella who come away described the collaboration, a press release as Kawasaki meets Glasgow, Glasgow Kiichiro mwana. Oh, who was like? This Japanese rocker meets David Bowie and Etima meats, fish and chips. The song is really, really great. It's super has this great catchy hook, and it has also incredible anime music video that you should watch is called out of my head. Here's a little bit of it. So I was I was kind of reminded of how much I like that. Other song I'd heard by Wednesday Campanella which sent me down this rabbit hole listening to their music, and then learning more about them and their style coma was sort of found by director f and can mow Chee they, they wanted a female vocalist for this new band that they were putting together and they met comb y at a party and she ju- that's by the way, not her real name. It's like a stage name. It's KOMO underscore. I. And she joined the band when she was in high school and she had no music experience whatsoever, which is dope. They can much talked about how her voice didn't really match the the rap that she was like delivering, and that sort of dissonance was sounded really cool. And so that's why she, she got she became like the front, the front person for this group. So this is the first I heard from them. It's called shack, Shane, it's pretty simple. It's just like this rolling acoustic percussion with KOMO. Why wrapping over it? The rhythm of the songs are so fucking dope and music videos, really great to hear is chain cycle of the night tonight. Keyed in the six. Doing good hand..

"Let with mine. Site. Just to be sentimental. Look, I I would. I'm into me that's not idle like she gave it to him in his bag. I'm pretty sure because I remember we got the rules before our game, and it was the case that if you very, if you find an auto vary in the environment or anything aiding in the actual survivor and someone else finds it, then it's there. I don't. Give it to someone Ardal. However, if it's in your bag, it's no one can take it out of your back. It's physician, everything that's in your bag is yours if someone finds it in your bag. I guess that's the risk because everyone's bag looks the same. So it's as it accidentally going through someone's back and people just search them and sneakily little things like that. So the safest places in your bag because no one can take it in not fence, but the same time you risk exposure, all you need a really good hiding that no one would ever find in the environment. And what did you do well on moved around a little bit. Sorry. I really didn't know what to do if I was hiding it in the environment that didn't want it in my bag. You gonna take you back everywhere. You take its challenges and that off when the when they're getting, you will set up and it gets things get moved around from people and all that sort of sauce. I was worried about anyone knowing about it. So I was hiding regionally. This somebody complications because if you hide it and then going to tribal, you go. Scrambling and strategizing before you go to tribal, you don't wanna be then randomly to Garson because that's all VS. So I ended up putting it in my bag eventually, but I-. Rapid in cloth. So so it's now auto. I want to touch on this alliance. Mwana says, she's this really close bond with Sean. She says, we pulled off the best move ever in this game, getting rid of Russell's like you clearly have not watched a lot of Safaga. You split a, it's really not that exciting and the person she goes, all we got rid of the person. Everyone assumed would win. It's like assumed Russell would win. No, I did love those one hundred percent. I assumed Russell with f.. I want to move onto the second episode because I feel like this was probably the best episode we've had all the Sikhs so far. There was a lot of great stuff. This is the episode where Steve Paul, Steve goes home, the delivery, man, Steve, we have this awesome tribal council..

"Welcome to important, not Borton. Mine aim is Brian, Calvert Kennedy. No, it's not. My name is, but you're name's cornet. That's right. And this is episode twenty-seven. Today's question, what happens Brian when the Atlantic Ocean invades the Arctic Ocean, not not anything good. I thought you were going to say, I'm not qualified to answer that, which would also have been the correct answer. Yes to correct. On the other hand, our guest is Julia Robertson. She's the vice president of relations for the ocean conservancy in sunny Washington DC from her bio. She takes complex issues, for instance, like one ocean invading another, make them real. Real and relevant to human beings and helped us act on them. Not surprisingly, she's funny, but also way way smarter than us. Not saying much? No. It's a pretty fucking little bar. So speaking of things, Brian, that are ways martyr than us. Yeah, I guess, do you watch Westworld. Oh, yeah. Watched the whole first season. Got it. So I use the present tense and you are. I am. I am. I gonna currently watching Westworld? The answer is unfortunately. No. Okay. Well, you get the point towards the end of the first season, and this is kind of how I felt with the ocean thing. You know, everyone's, you're on the ocean. You're part of the food chain is like the ocean doesn't care about you because we're powerful, Mike mwana has that should in there and it's all true. Like ocean doesn't give fuck about us or whichever fish it's was here before us. It's it's gonna be here long after. Right, but it does feel like Westworld. This whole thing sometimes feels like we're sure getting what's come into us, you know? Yeah, whether you, if you can fill robots that you like, oh, I can go do anything in this world and and kill people, and and you know, and and beat up and beat up, you know, women or or minorities, it's going to be fine. That's not gonna come back to haunt me and I can put a bunch of trash in the ocean and. Shoot smog in the sky. So yeah, what's wild as how, how long we've been able to do it and and and now just now I feel like we're like, sort of getting the idea that shits fucked. Are you talking about with killer sex, robots or with the planet? Oh, arena talking about killer sexual about anymore. Okay. Yeah. I mean, here's the thing though, about the planet. It's true. And yet industrial revolution was. I don't know. One hundred ten years ago a little more. You know. So not very long which to counter what you said is more of a like while we really fucked up really fast. Yeah, right against. That's it. It was. It's so fast. I mean, it doesn't seem fast to you because you were in alive that whole time. But if you think back over the scope of things not great, especially was it that was a doctor marvel up best name ever Dr marvel his name. Actually. It's supposed to be cooling right now and it's like boring. Right. Not great, not great. Anyways, I'm not done with season two west. I'm way behind bouncing between that and the expanse also. Amazing. Never heard it so good. It's it's space opera and ask on scifi are gone. Oh, sure. Go ahead. Just wondering how you're doing on of the real housewives of New York. I'm not going to answer that Brian. But it will tell you there's a special show. We talked about Julia, fucking great. They really is. And you know, people ask us sometimes about self care, and let me tell you this show that show not this fucking out this show. That show that show will plead just watch at the end of the night. You will sleep soundly that actually usually is when I watch it too, and it really is just as a wonderful way to go to bed. If it doesn't leave you like a bucket of tears to dump on the sink and a smile on your face. Yup. Oh, man. Maybe this isn't for you. Yeah, I'm excited for everybody to listen to..

Joaquin Phoenix to play The Joker in Scorsese produced film

"All right, everyone. Appreciate those. Sorry if you didn't get rid, but we are moving onto segment to now another addition of almost famous wherein we go over actors, famous or not to turn down what could have been roles of a lifetime. We're gonna start out with John Lithgow. He almost played the joker twice apparently in the original, Joe Dante version of the movie that never got made. Joe Dante was gonna make Batman. And then again in Tim Burton's first movie, he was gonna play the joker. I think John Lithgow would have been a great joker man for sure. It's almost like more of a. Classic joker? No. I don't know that it's an odd choice. I wonder how they would have done them up. I wonder if they would have given the the wig and the green hair and everything, or if they would have kind of leaned more on the way he actually looks. That's interesting if it would have been Tim Burton. I think he would have gone with the same. Yeah, same bookie. Yep. Yep. But Jack was great, but I could totally see John Lithgow down with that Emma stone one for LA La Land. But originally that movie was going to be a Watson. In fact, it was going to be mwana miles teller in LA La Land, a movie. You hate mean Hermioni from the Harry Potter films here, what. Is that a movie about a Potter? That's Harry. Yeah, that'd be funny a. r. y. Potter here suit Potter. I love that word here suits. Wonderful. Mark, Wahlberg gonna call him out on this because he originally read for Brokeback mountain. A believe in Jake Jilin part in, he has admitted to quote being a little creeped out after reading the script soldiers. Kisa dude. Yeah, exactly. As Mark Wahlberg talks. He said it was very graphic and descriptive told angry. I like you. You're towns agai and if you wanna talk about it more. But thankfully he didn't. So Mark Wahlberg GIF y, sir, seriously and good for you. Jake Jilin hall for not being homophobic on. Back back two steps. Did you hear that? Joaquin, Phoenix is gonna play the joker in new joker only joker Centric movie. Oh, really like it. I love not a, what's his face from now. God let. Oh now they're done with that guy. I thought that he didn't see that movie, but I thought that was supposed to be the only good thing was his joker was good for like five seconds and really make up of the joker was like we had like gold teeth and like face tattoos, and it was just it was the weird choice to did you see that movie? I did. It's that bad. It's not good. Yeah. It's just like you could tell it was a movie. They had to like fix. They had to triage them and and post, and every scene was just a big set piece song with very little dialogue..
