"Gosh. Well, I mean, I have notifications at on my phone. So every time he tweets always read it too, doesn't it? What if I mean a business meeting oversee I'm not gonna look at starring? But the moment that business meetings finished at the first thing I locate is care what he tweeted back now. And then I'll go inside. I'll start reading the responses or if he's responded to previous response care. What's the whole trail going on? Yeah. Waited at originates ways leading to evade. Sometimes, you know, when this press releases are on a on a specific topic that he's gonna back in states it on Twitter, then I'll start reading them. But a lot of them, you know, touchy misleading. I think that, you know, unfortunately, a lot of the news in price today is more speculation than than fact, so one's gotta be careful. You know? But I mean, hey. I guess when it comes to technology and the way it's all about influencing our. Next week. I've into very very careful as in are you can't you can't always thinks that what you what you read in. What you hear is necessarily the truce Erade. Gotta dig a lot more. Are it is time consuming when it comes to that. Because you know, if I go onto Lincoln or onto any social media sites. I wanna make sure that qualify. What I say before I say it, otherwise I've seen on even even a mind Facebook page frames who are very close to me. You know, the tech me. So it becomes hugely at time consuming. You know, because you you price something in then you go to these questions because you might most people don't read so you go to quantify, and you go to on sir, ending that come back with things side. Yeah. As a musket tear. It's it's not just Elon Musk set gets pummeled we feel like we get pummeled to just full funding. The supporting him. Have you ever arranged real life? Meet up of a large group of musketeers. Not a launch. But you know, Thurs who I've met on the lawn musk fan club page, a good handful of us writing the beginning when I started managing many Jeanette, a vase of ajar n teasing Ariza, our inner, and and he actually arranged a holiday down to San Diego. When I when I used to live there, and we making person vein these right from Canada came out team, twenty sixteen four conferencing Anaheim, and I maintain me person United Site him. I've been great Frayn's full number of years now, we'll sky really have a video cool. We constantly on Facebook messenger. You know Lincoln as well. And we maintain person in N when he came out to actually arranged a surprise tiff statis- dry for him. I'll eight Natapei Neda taste never seen one. You know of esteem Canada. They was delay. And. Afternoon picked him up. And I stayed high raid, do you have your driver's license on you and your possible any state hell year, he looked at me kind of like well way you taking me kid. Are you not and free rein to Beaune dealership, and I'd already prearranged men, we will change, and he looked around the of sudden we was sitting in the one model ace and. Cunnie came around and said, Tehran, you must pull his frame from Canada in rye was like how do you nervion? He's like well have polar Paul welcome. And we took him often. He was able to get test-driving driving p one hundred eighty he was able to experience that insane mode. You know, the will tournaments driving as well. He was tikey blind away. I hit his brother, Email, knee and frames to side police. Thank you so much for ranging that for him. He cannot stop talking about it. I got him attest t shirts again. I mean, man, you know, he he went Beck with all the swagger on everything. It was just amazing unites. Even you know on on Lincoln since became the manager there. It was even the taste the NHL sets reached out, and I've been a tesla at a man by not even a taste of got went on off. I've got a reservation on the the muddle three, but I'm waiting for the fifty five thousand dollars when the, you know, the the two hundred twenty mile battery range went to be released, and, you know, even the taste to NFL guys that I've made some, you know, they're not polling manages the eat on Mustang Cup page. So welcome in argument drive at chess stay as unfair wheel-drive kissed. We will earn Tessler whatever. And even those functions that I go to the interesting stories I have heard from from them about the ridge inal tesla days like win the first road still was released. How those guys actually came about ordering vase, and you know, how they feel whole does a diehard supporters of in on muskets. I mean, I mean the stories I have our xfinity. It's just mind blowing, you know. So I mean, those guys mates are in his hand. On the on the Lincoln page and even from the taste ended club that odds that met. So we've spoken a lot about tesla. When you think about the boring company, and he's also got neural laying. And are you going to live on Mars Thurs will the boring company? I think that's absolutely fantastic. I mean, building the underground tunnels the congestion Liamine, I've experienced myself. I think that that's that's absolutely fantastic idea of his I think, you know, with regards to the boring company United some of us think that vein fan even with the with taste of 'cause going tone Humous, we eventually think that they've probably going to being nor Mead forget Raja's anymore. So we're gonna save spice on that. And I think parking as well because, you know, the taste of causa going to have like the feet of tournaments caused that are just going to be Cirque came all the time. And you'll be able to earn peice of income from MAC because you'll be able to rain tax your car. I mean, if it's constantly lakeside going in obviously, it's going to stop a charge. But if you think about week, we discuss, you know. Earning a car majority of the time. It's ex she popped writes, it you don't you not always in your car, you use it from eight to be your majoria. When you go to keeping the evening. It's talking. You Garo starts it's it's it's an item that you hockey us, whereas a taste with the autonomous capabilities is going to be something that's going to be in constant use. So that's fantastic. The autonomous merges even more Brian because you never gonna have that grubbing McCain happening. I think that it's definitely gonna cure congestion traffic congestion as well. And also, you know, the fact that machines constantly learning. So the tastes of 'cause always going to be learning from the mistakes. Whereas, you know, right now when you drive a car, it's human mistakes rights, sir. If I make mistake doesn't mean that you Jane know, nettle game to learn from my mistake, you not. But when you've got Tesla's that old pegged in. And the owning from the same mistakes as this miss eras that are likely to happen. So nice fatalities on the riots that that's exit he brilliant. And they win comes to neuro link. Well, I mean, you know, I think definitely sons, you know, we've had personal computers and even now smart funds than everybody's I mean, you know, often I'll going to restaurant door. I'll be waiting at a a poll terminal to catch a flight. I'm constantly scanning. My surroundings of how many people a heads down looking at a fun. And it's it's always about eighty to ninety percent of people. We are like like eat on Mesic recyclables. You know, we connect to out devices. So I mean Niro link could still, you know, Wednesday closer instead of holding an occupying your hands. I mean, you just gonna have the chip bolting side of you hit at our our. I think I think that if we can make ourselves more intelligent. I don't see any disadvantage from the perspective. But I will say this. I do think that we comes to a I which they now coating referring to the full industrial revolution. I think that it's definitely something where they going to. They have to regulate it and those who regularly to going to be you're gonna have to be those who undestand the most I would be safe to say that, you know, put eat on Musco Neta regulation panel on a state. You know, put the engineers the innovators the small the small dudes and Mike name the regulation team because we're gonna need that. Because otherwise, I mean, you know, who's to say what could happen. You could teach don't maybe need an independent party to regulate. A I just wanna team philosophers an ethicist to regulate I I don't want any tech bras on it that the process on that. Hopefully, honestly, San Francisco most pros, they don't have social skills. So I don't want them to siding the fate of. I mean, you know, I mean, the Burs that they might be that might not be the most socialistic in might be a little bit or could win comes to. But I think that deep down inside they the ones that really care the most. And they know what they doing. I would I would I would I would say Comey. We can have independent of these independent panels on whatever you've got government to regulate in our of the Seoul government agencies away. But it's yeah. These different you gonna have to be a regulation when it comes to I for show. Let's get some ladies regulating to. I'm just gonna find that. I think so too. Because if you look at ladies, I mean, we've got that tweet we Bill Bain with it. Neutrino Specht drives. Sure. Mars, if you Lon colonizing Mars, are you going to live on it Muskateers will be first to go to Mars. I would love to a often joked around, but I don't mean any jockeying way. But honestly, I mean my whole life. I've taken on difficult challenges. I don't know. Maybe I'm just talking mid crazy. But always go for the most difficult thing. 'cause the easy thing is boring and son mandates car, let's go to malls on tear it up, you know, it needs to be tariff on. So let's go the with me, and my sunny disposition just saying me over there in L create those automatic biosphere for him. I just think that I mean, I honesty, I think that you know. I expect until a lot of scientists. Those he will we just stick around in safe pennant earth this way, we live right unite. But he is. I mean, it's it's not to say that they haven't been previous extinctions. We we know that those events have happened. So what's to say the twin not gonna become extinct? United meets your could hit planet earth are wipe out. The sun will whatever will be dine species then a name what they grandma after. All we've learned ways that gonna gar unites lack the Egyptians who both the permits. They even today. I mean, everybody debates how how did they Bill them? I mean, how do we not know that we did that information disappear are s- are I think that going off to another planet and colonizing nut as a as a form of as a backup? I think. Burnin year old kid is to illness. And you say, you're working sustainability. I was the the lost two years. They ran out of funding because. Yeah. The department of energy kind of I think I think didn't we Trump turnaround inside that base king Cole and saw him. Yes. Are in your bowls took a Beck seat, sir. My weight gain sustainability was halted because of that that's up setting took a turn with like earth being eliminated. I am. I am. Clean coal. Okay. So maybe sustainability work on mine. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. We've learned to love from planet earth. You know? Sorry. Read a hurt me. A lot of learned from the mistakes of earth sire where we went Garen repeating planet Mars. L will repeat them. Same thing human.

"A feature film that will has presumably been described as mission impossible in tone. That's all we know about it for now. But this'll be the latest of many three musketeers out of patients that we've seen in the screen. The most recent being in twenty eleven which I I had totally forgot about. But. The twenty eleven one that was the one with Logan Lerman. I think yes. Win in that too. Yeah. Matthew McFadden Logan Lerman? Ray Stevenson, and it was directed by Paul W s Anderson. Hunk elements. Well, this one's going to be like they're taking a mission impossible type take on three musketeers. Is that correct? Yes, mission impossible style. So whatever that means, I guess sort of a thriller Sciascia, heist speaking of heist, so we're not real. I mean, I guess that kinda fit the musketeers they've been adapted to so many types of John Rhys before. But I mean when I think of three musketeers, and I'm not a fan of those movies are the books, but I think of the hats like the big hats. I think of the sword fights in I feel like if you're setting this in modern day, and you're trying to make it more mission impossible sleek, you have none of the things. I mean, I guess you could do swashbuckler swashbuckling in a modern way. Christine. Do you have any ideas here? I didn't even realize it was modern day. No. That's that's. I don't know what that's going to be unless they're just gonna have them wearing those big heads and using swords in present day, which I would actually like to say, so please make that happen. Yeah. Well, anyways, it's coming to net. Flex look for that. Lastly wanna talk about a feature that HD wrote up earlier this week the title of the feature was there's something cursed about Harry, the wisdom world's growing pains highlight a franchise in awkward transition. So I guess the question here HD is like what is going on with the wizard world. And why why does it why like the thing that we all love? Why does it seem like it's? Diminishing in our hearts. Well, this is a piece that kind of came about when I had seen a Harry Potter and the curse child on Broadway. And I then went to see fantastic beasts the crimes of burned walls. And I was questioning why I enjoyed so much the curse child despite not really enjoying the play and hated very much the kinds of Brinda walled. I realized that there is sort of Kadhamy going on between the early tone of Harry Potter, which was more whimsical and fanciful and the more dark grim world building elements that JK rolling and wonder brothers trying to install builds up to build out this franchise and appeal more to Dulce, and the thing is like Harry Potter has always been a series in transition, but it's never been able to sort of consolidate those two things and with when you try to build this world by just like, adding trivia and adding element. It's after the fact it just kind of is already on like a shaky foundation because it just doesn't work that way the rule building approach is not fully a thought out. And that's why starting to suffer because of it in losing the magic in the appeal what made Harry Potter so enchanting in the first place. I don't know. I it seems like she's waffling on what she wants to even do like, I know we're supposed to think of Jiechi Rawling, as, you know, the creator of the world who has his grand plan that like, you know, she's making how many of these fantastic beasts movies. They respond to be five. But we don't know if that will be nice anymore. I mean, I heard promises of like, you know, wizardry world schools and in the United States. I was excited to see that. And then this one kind of went back to Hogwarts, which was fun. But then I wanted more of Hogwarts not so much the rest of the movie like why like what is she doing reffing is fantastic..

Just the way they are said our? Yeah. Thank you. I I'm I'm voting three musketeers not even a strongly on this one. So I'm okay with whatever the choices. I'm okay with this. This is Nick. We don't need to. We don't need them. Now. Alarming Snickers we're done. We got our final four here until great about this ergo losers in this. Oh, there's losers. Hang final four manors up in the rat. That's absolutely true Snickers versus kit Kat. I keep going first of all let you know. I mean, clearly stickers Whitten's Snickers crashing. "Just one hundred plus pound fish would be quite the spectacle. Sure to impress any dinner guest, but how to preserve that sense of wonder for a second gigantic fish. Now, our heads would have surely just had one of the two fish save for another occasion, but not in the combustion raise household. Just like any magician. You don't pull the same trick twice. The Dukes cooks were at a loss. Both fish had to be presented on the same night to the same guests. And in true combatative style in the most stunning. And impressive means possible. After a bit of thought, a plan was devised the dinner, but go like this. The first sturgeon would-be presented as what was known as a relevant to Petagine and impressive display in which the whole Fish was presented to the guests paraded around the dining room before being taken back into the kitchen to be carved up into individual portions. And parade is truly the word for it. Come batteries ordered, the fished, be adorned in leaves and flowers accompanied by musicians playing flutes and violins dressed in chef out pets as it made its way around the large dining room table. Footmen carried torches before the fish. Now the sturgeon itself rested on a large platter may be aides may be ten feet in length carried on the shoulders of kitchen assistance. Unable to believe their eyes. The Dukes guest clambered onto their dining chairs. To get a better look at this massive fish with its circuit around the room, complete the fish and its conveyors were about to return to the kitchen. When disaster struck. One of the assistants helping to carry the sturgeon tripped and fell the fish tumbled from its platter. And before anyone could do anything, The giant thing was on the floor. The dining room was aghast. The fish. All one hundred and sixty two pounds of it. Was ruined. The guess eyes immediately went to their host to gauge his reaction. Interestingly, he was a study in composure. He waited until the din had subsided, And then in a calm but clear voice said. Serve the other one immediately, A second procession entered the dining room, a mirror image of the first to the guests surprise and delight with one key difference. This fish was even bigger than the first. Epic meals, like the two sturgeon dinner, peppered UMass His dictionary, including a view that took place and Duma's own kitchen. During the height of his fame after the publication of the Three Musketeers and the Count of Monte Cristo in the eighteen 40s Duhalde little life. Very similar to the characters he had created building any Norris house outside Paris called appropriately enough The Shanto day Montecristo. He entertained almost daily. But even the Society of pairs occasionally got too much for Dumas. And so he would rent a large house on a lakeshore there with neighbours like Princess Mathilde The niece of Napoleon on one side. And the controversial journalist and politician Emile do Zero down on the other. To ma spent his Summers. And on one particular summer weekend Dumas along with his latest mistress, an aspiring Italian opera singer, who went by the nickname of court Osa were relaxing at his lakeside home. Now, gorgeous, I had a bit of reputation and was apparently little loved by the household staff. I therefore her singing which seemed to never improve no matter how much to Moscow bent on her singing lessons, nor for her rather abrupt manner of ordering everyone around offering firing cooks and butlers at a moment's notice. But you mom was in the habit of welcoming guests to his home every weekend, anywhere from ten to a hundred people might stop by the drop of a hat. And so when do my learned one Bright Sunny Sunday morning That guests would we softened by later that afternoon for lunch? Well, he went out to the kitchen to ask the cook's to make something appropriate for party. What he discovered however, because the cold hearth in an empty room Gordo say in her infinite wisdom had fired the kitchen staff on Saturday evening without letting him know. As a result, Not only was there no one on hand to prepare a meal for the imminent arrivals, but there was no fresh food in the kitchen, either the staff had been dismissed before the weekend trip to the market. So Dumas faced an empty Larder and an empty kitchen with guests already making their way to his home. But you Duma was undaunted and searched the kitchen high and low. Finding only sacks of rice tomatoes and butter. Well, necessity, as they say is the mother of invention, Soejima said to work cooking the tomatoes in a hefty dose of butter. He also boil the rice, adding the two together at the last moment to create a kind casserole. Now, I agree. What do ma created here wasn't exactly the height of fine dining. We might recognize this dish more along the lines of what a desperate college student might make to avoid a trip to the grocery store. But this was nineteenth-century France. One expected the head of the household, let alone of famed rider to roll up his sleeves and polio writes in the kitchen, let alone make a tomato sauce. To get a sense of how odd or even unexpected. This was consider it this way. Imagine if you went over to someone's house and instead of sitting down to watch some TV or a movie, they performed a one person play for you. I admit It's a reach in terms of a comparison. But few, if any one would have expected someone of Duma's fortune or status to be responsible for cooking a meal for his own guests. Someone like that had a staff for such things. And so the meal actually left everyone delighted. Sure. It was humble fair. But the unique experience of having a meal prepared by the author of The Three Musketeers meant no guest turned up his nose at such a humble offering. And thankfully, while the Larder may have been bear though wine-cellars certainly wasn't. After a few glasses. Everyone agreed it was the best meal they had had in recent memory. So by the late 1860s when Dumas decided to include this warm memory of a Sunny Sunday meal and a stick shown air Dumas had dedicated himself to the art of cuisine, hoping his legacy would be for his contributions to gastronomy rather than literature. And his international travels had certainly helped a bit towards this case in America where his novels were best-sellers The famous New York restaurant Del Monaco's even honoured Dumas by naming of all things up potato salad after him. One updated and reprinted by none other than James speared decades later. Dumas was even on record about his dedication to cuisine. Stating quote, I see with pleasure that I culinary reputation is growing. And bits fair to a cups before long my literary reputation. God be praised. I shall be able to devote myself tour respectable calling and to be. Wait to my children in set of books, which they would only inherit for fifteen or twenty years casseroles and Marmite s- which they would inherit for eternity. I shall relinquish the pen in favor of the kitchen spoon. But the gastronomic work, The consumed Duma's later years dedicated to finishing his great Dictionary of cuisine was soon forgotten. In the aftermath of the Franco-Prussian war, not to mention the birth of the Third Republic by the time his dictionary was published in eighteen 73. No one was interested in the authors musings on sturgeon horse Barroga's even his recipe for tomato rice casserole. The publishing house initially thought it was a problem of size. Six hundred thousand were dictionaries on cooking weren't usually best-sellers. So they decided to issue a shortened version of the dictionary and released it Just a few years after the first. Still. Nothing. The world, it seemed had moved on from to ma obituaries for the author, and eighteen seventy had often been snide and dismissive as one account in the British literary journal, the Athen name stated there is no doubt. Alexandre Dumas will never be reckoned against those who have really taken the lead in the literary progress in the age. And the reason is not far to seek. He had no system, no theories, No well digested and coherent scheme if out man and society. He sailed about over the wide field of literature without even anaesthetic much less a moral charge to guide him. Well do moans culinary dictionary languished unsold Hispanic fantastic romanticised novels of French society with their swashbuckling Musketeers ensure Vaal Rick codes of honor continued to sell well particularly in Britain in America. And with the arrival of motion pictures at the turn of the 20th century. Duma's stories became perfect fodder for this silverscreen. The tale of The Three Musketeers has featured in over forty different film since nineteen three and then aims apoptosis Porthos and Aramis have become household names among generations of movie lovers with everyone from Douglas Fairbanks to Gene Kelly, to Christopher walking two for Sutherland, taking a turn at playing the musketeer.
