"Inspired by people fighting for racial justice during the pandemic. Wanna help get rid the world of hate, they say started with the social media post and if you have a racist tattoo You want to go on? I'll cover it for free. No questions asked. That's Ryan King out of Murray, Kentucky. His colleagues had gallery X our collective road on Instagram. Mr. King told Fox News that the ideas sparked early on in the pandemic as they watch the story of America unfold with protest inequality and people standing up for racial rights. We were just seeing all these people pretty much risk their lives. And so they wound up getting the idea to start covering. What they said cover the hate. And apparently, there's been an overwhelming response. We had hundreds and hundreds of likes hundreds and hundreds of shares and they had intended to just help those around the surrounding community there in Murray Until they started getting hundreds of messages from people all over the world. So they're both voicemail was totally full. They got calls people from reaching reaching out from California to New York, Ireland. Had a girl from South Africa, he said. It was very overwhelming. And so now King dedicates every Thursday to this effort. And his wait list extends Probably, he says, 10 to 20 years, so some of the things that they've been covering our swastikas. The SS bolts. They were obviously a part of Nazi Germany. Confederate flags tend to be the product of predominant images that they have been covering up. And basically some of the stories we want, Mr King said. Here, he said, I've had a father that told me that he didn't take his shirt off in front of his kids ever because of some mistake he made when he was in his Early twenties in prison and got into the wrong crowd. And they wanted covering his tattoo, he says. Most of the tattoos have been done in prison or somebody else's house that they wind up of covering, So it's just interesting. Um you know how people change or evolve or whatever the case may be here, and this guy is along with his friends. They're in a Murray. Kentucky, have Ah, covered these these tattoos up. So there you have it, I thought was an interesting story, particularly from our commonwealth that this all came about. Well, we're gonna get Tioga rake right now. 10 away from seven o'clock, Scott Fitzgerald stated by way of sports Coming your way.

"Yeah, cousins, big name, still a main. We know he's an all star player at his best, but really if it was to happen, I'm just not sure he'd be any more than sort of an insurance policy. Policy go on the bench because he just hasn't played for so long. He missed basically all of last season with then he came back for the words in the playoffs and tore up his quad, and so he just hasn't played in long enough for me to think that he could have a major impact on that team if he was to come back, but he's a big body. He's a smart Playa. So, even if it's only a few minutes now, and then he could, he could potentially do something but. Otherwise I. Don't really see it being. A significant impact for the heat really because I just haven't seen him play when he has played when we saw him come back for the warriors last year, he just looked rusty as as to be expected for guy who's missile much basketball so? But he's a name that attract sort of interest, and if you can get anything out of in short bursts than it will be a bonus for the heat. I can see it happening next year when they have a training camp to try and get him warm and get him playing basketball again, but he had. An Achilles injury a quad injury and ACL injury basically within a year and a half, and when he came back. He's demarcus cousins like for sure. And he made a tiny bit of an impact, even after tearing that quad at the beginning of the playoffs, coming into the NBA files made a tiny impact against the raptors, but he's just slow as molasses, or you're just going to throw him out there with the Miami Heat now when you barely have time to to work it out or the three weeks of camp enough, I don't think so I think you gotTa. You GotTa do it next year, but I can see sort of a basketball standpoint. Maybe he can be the. Fulcrum of our bench because they don't have a lot of like. Hey, here's the ball. Go get it type guys event but he could three point shooters could work around him. Maybe Bam could work around him too, but. It's just it's too quick and. The guy's got has had a ton of injuries and really frequently in the last year and a half. Yeah, but it's also going to cost them very much. Ira Winderman is speculating that to open a roster spot. The heat would either cut Solomon. Hill Donnas has Lama Chris. Silver Christova DONNAS has is obviously a heat legend. They're probably not going to drop him. In the middle of the season silver, they just signed do an expansion. It'd be Solomon Hill. I mean like you're not really much. In a trade off of Solomon Hill is cutting. You're bringing in demarcus cousins even if he's been out of out of. NBA Basketball basically for a year. You know you you take the chance that he's going to have a double double in a playoff game. You're probably not going to be getting from Solomon Hill regardless. Solomon, yeah. Yeah I'm with you, trae. If? He's good to go and he wants to try and play. You're not giving up a lot to throw them on your there. You know you never know suddenly. especially we don't with the. Basketball that could be played. WHO's to say unfortunately a guy like Bam or Meyers Leonard or one of your bigs like I don't know? Something happens to their body because they're not ready to play basketball. You might need all these guys you can, so there's an option where there's suddenly is minutes for a guy like demarcus, cousins and man. I would love to see cousins. In the in the long run with a team like the heat and that physical training squad getting. They could do with him if they got their hands on him. Just turning these guys in just incredible credible athletes, time and time again. He's pretty cool. Great skeets I remember years ago David Thorpe said demarcus cousins needed to lose fifty pounds and I thought that was insane, but as we've seen throughout his career, you know he has had some injuries to the lower legs. Perhaps losing fifty pounds would do him some good as he recovers from these. Catastrophic injuries, and there's nobody better than the heat enough. You're signing on with the heat to be a part of their training staff for three or four months. That probably is very helpful if you're a recovering from an injury. For, sure all right. Our final headline is from Espn John Marin. Ask Judge to have confederate monument removed from Murray. Read a small part of it quote as a young black man I cannot stress enough how disturbing and oppressive it is to know. The city still honors, a confederate war, general, defending white supremacy and hatred. This monument is of Robert. Eli was erected in one, thousand, nine, hundred, nineteen to honor confederate soldiers, and it sits outside the courthouse. They're like a majority of these tasks. What is this young kid drama ran. Writing this letter was all your opinion on the matter. It's Jeff just a huge huge kudos of the bravery of advocate to put that on his shoulders, and you know he's going to receive a lot of hatred as people do who Who have issues with these confederate statues soap I mean really. Really really impressive from young person and the second thing I think. Oh, Murray is an actual place I didn't realize. Murray Kentucky Yeah that exists so huge huge. Kudos to to job ran. It's. Unbelievable for for really young person to be able to support his neck on the line like that. Yeah so well written got to the point he wasn't. Rudy wasn't disrespectful or anything like that just might. He's point and said this doesn't belong here and now he's like this is a thing that celebrates racism. That's what it is exactly. Yeah, that's what these statues are. They put up five years ago. They're put up in basically in the. Jim, Crow era, and they are a message to black people about white power, and where they are in society that is social order of everything. Can take them down and. Joe Moran you've seen you've seen a lot of these statues just been ripped down by people in the street and I'm fine with that, but I'm also like give the. Giving the government there a chance to do it without having been torn down by people who are just air rage by these things so I think again. That's a very smart thing that Jamaran dummy said he's. He's expressed his position on it and he doesn't want it to be one of those things that says you know. We'll talk about this and we'll get to it in months or years time. He's like do it now. Do it right now? Show some leadership and I think that's a really really strong statement from jar and just again. He's not just out there. Playing basketball, he's trying to make an impact and use his platform, and his voice and I think that's really admirable for Young Guy Yeah only twenty years old, and he's brave enough to speak up That's why it's so important to bring things all around, but Kyrie Irving and Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard or doing people are finding their voices, and they're encouraging these people..

If you guys haven't heard of this young man, you will he's going to be the second or third pick in the NBA draft. His athleticism is jaw-dropping his unselfishness as a player is tremendous and very rarely is he not the best player on every floor. He steps on. So how does it young man with that kind of ability and up in Murray Kentucky? So we went there and we took him to the park. This was selection Sunday. This was an hour before.
