We're gonna figure out some math and we have an awesome interview with Boomer Esiason really fun time. We went to the WFAN studios on Friday. We went on their show. He came on ours good time and because it is Wednesday guys on chicks before we get to all of that red dead redemption. Yup, it's common folks, rockstar games, creators of the critically acclaimed and record-breaking grand theft. Or the Lynn gang yet, don't cross the van ruling game when I'm part of it, don't do it. Don't do it. Let's go. Silence. Welcome to part of my take presented by seatgeek today is Wednesday, October twenty. Fourth five. Okay. Hold on. I got. I got one five one five one five. I got two fives boys. I got a five, three fives. Let's go. Okay. Okay. Let's go. I got to five. All right. All right. Let's go hank-. What's the next one? Eight twenty eight twenty eight five twenty eight. Okay. No, no, no. Nope. We already out what we can still wanted to. If we get the only one missing we still went some money sixty two five twenty eight sixty sixty two sixty two. Twenty sixty to check your sixty. Two row now is to not a twenty there. Faulk I'll have a single sixty two to had one, but oh wait. There's another one is the same as five. No. No. Okay. Bubba any it sixty to twenty eight. Well, all right. So I guess we have two podcasts now. Yeah. So the plan was we were going to prerecorded our ads so that if we hit it, we were literally going to say, fuck everyone, not not like, but not in a mean way like you understand. Give you some money even like as AWOL's before. Yeah. No, you're right. We're gonna spread. It would have gotten at least ten thousand dollars. Fuck everyone. Now listen to four adds it record. Our guys also lost right alongside us even if he didn't play. We had four hundred forty dollars mega millions tickets as our investment to win the game. That's right. Yeah, you can't win. If you don't play chip in a let at least we tried. Yeah, we did try so welcome to part of my take. We are not millionaires still doing the show. Yeah, we're still doing this show which we love. Yes, but we would've loved a lot more if we were filthy filthy, fuck it written still done it. We would have done it. We would have popped up again like two months, and you would see scene like new part of my take and we've been fucking visa being like, this has been awesome. Yeah, with the probably with worse microphones just because we just we. Yeah. Might actually be a great show about weeks. You'd actually do just a what? If we won the lottery show. Yeah. Will spend money like we won the lottery and then do. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. Yes, a World Series game one. Let's go. Let's get into the show World Series game one, Clayton Kershaw, Chris sale pitcher's duel except not. Well. It was like I always say the bullpen wasn't great for the dodgers. That's their one weakness that they have always say. Well, no, I do the bullpen is what you say to talk about baseball. If you're not really like the dodgers specifically because the Red Sox don't have a good. No, no team has a great bullpen because bullpen pitchers are just pitchers that can be starting out. So eleven hits for the Red Sox. Eight hid. We're actually it's still taping in the in the bottom of the eighth, but but nineteen total hits. Twelve total runs exactly how we all do it up a pitcher's duel, the two best pitchers in the last decade in in major league baseball, going against each other game one. And you get a slug fest that ends up being eight to four as we're taping right now. Listen. I know it wasn't exactly like a full blown meltdown by Clayton Kershaw, but since it happened in the first couple innings, I. To say that it was a full of both guys kind of. I mean, both guys did not make it through the fourth inning, right? They both. I think they both were in the fifth inning with no, yes with no outs thinning. So it was. It's gonna be interesting series. It was definitely one of those games where you expected it to be a pitcher's duel, and then it just flipped on its head. And it was one of those classic like six hour. Everyone. Bats around everyone gets hit kinda game, just a little free piece of advice to Clayton Kershaw grow the mustache out. If you're going to grow the beard out like the Amish look, I like he's not allowed to use zippers, not allowed to pitch affectively in October, Matt Stafford, kind of had the same thing going on for a while. People forget that they knew each other and high school, and then the other big news is everyone one free tacos. Yeah, greatest tradition of them all the first stolen base in the World Series. Free tacos from Taco Bell. They're very, very sneaky about how they do that because you don't get the taco tomorrow. Yeah. So sometimes when you go to game and like, you know, at the end of the fourth quarter, the wizards are getting beaten. One hundred forty to ninety nine. Everyone's. Cheering when they make that last foul shot because you get the taco tomorrow. But in this one, he gotta wait till November first taco day today after the world Susan's day after the World Series ad. So Hank, let's kick it to you. Red Sox fan, how you feeling? Obviously one. Oh, like are you? Are you little nervous? The fact that Chris sale wasn't his dominant self or this is just smooth sailing. Forget it, never, but they got the winds should be smooth sound from the w. there all the moments that were little iffy, ugly when counts, actually, okay. This is kind of a hot main Olympic state, but I kind of believe it to an ugly wind is actually worth more than a pretty close win because if you win ugly, that's like a confidence boost, like, okay, we didn't have our stuff. Well, there's, I think there's definitely something to be said for winning a game without your starting pitcher, your ace dominating and being like, well, we can win any any way. We want more incentive in the game's going forward that he will be dominant David price faculty had so many bad players start to new. He was due for a good one. Tomorrow night yet. So sale not doing gem means if he pidge later in the series, he's probably gonna throw, Jim, Chris sale. Got rid of his bad start. Yes. So now he's absolutely ready to go. Absolutely. By into that also you had a pinch hitter hitting a home run. So that's always fun to everybody be like, why the hell is he batting this guy? And then he hits home run, and then core looks like he's a genius. Yes. And I think core is probably the better manage, right. Yeah. Well, really, damn good manager self. I think both these guys are really good managers and it's it's I mean, playoff baseball. So weird because they could both be great managers. But if they make one big mistake, it's like you just throw it all out lights brighter over. And we also had a great picture. Tommy Lasorda on Fenway park on Monday. The picture was sent to us. He's looking spry is looking pretty good. He's looking ninety slash ninety. One slash ninety two. He he is ready to kick somebody's ass. Yes. At all time, I would like to see him square off against on simmer, not Pedro Martinez, that would. Yet, both that sucks. We'll patriots neck if you've seen him on the telecom. I also listen squeezing in that caller. I'm not a huge baseball guy put there is something that's just way cooler about watching baseball when it's cold outside. I'm the guy. Luke are in the dugout and they're bundled up in jackets, scarves, gloves, vans. Wearing wearing like winter jackets makes the game just feel important. It's not just the winter jackets is the combination of them bundled up in like all the warmest stuff and still drinking ice cold beer at the same time that place looks awesome love. I want to be there. All right. So World Series game. One goes to the Red Sox. We obviously talk about World Series game two on Thursdays show on Friday, show David price going to be interesting to see how how he performs in the biggest of stages. Now, we have to talk about something more important. PF t does America have a booger mobile problem? No, no. I love the booger mobile. The only thing that can improve, as we've said is, if you put booger on a horse, just go up and down the sidelines that I know there are a lot of people that go who can't see for my five hundred dollar front row seat because Boogers giant contraption that has never been around in the history of the game of football is parked in front of me the game. Well, you know what deal with. I mean, I also think that if you suspend him from the rafters like. Sting not like owing har- sting. That's too soon still hard, but like sting you could. You could solve this problem of, basically this is going to be a new thing to where every single Monday night football game someone's going to tweet out yelling at the burger mobile being like, get the fuck out of the way bills mafia next week to when when is he going to Philly? We're gonna get pelted with some shit and fill. Yeah, not saying well on it. I'm just saying it's going to happen. Well, it's nice because they put a giant TV on the back of it. So you can watch TV when you're at the game. I think that's, you know, that's almost it's great, but then booger got into it was so funny. Listen to talk about Dell Beckham Odell Beckham the second half got up, went to the locker room. Everyone knows I'm gonna go get them on a boat again, what's going on. And then he came back and they reported he had to use the bathroom and that got booger fired up. And Jason was like, oh, it's okay. He just went to the bathroom and then and then Booker was like, listen Jason. When I when I was on the sidelines, I wouldn't go use damn bathroom. I would just take care of my business and pee myself. He right there. And then Jason Witten was doing too much information because that's like the peak of Jason Whitten's. Comedy vernacular is to use it too much information, dude. Oh, woe to keep the sex. Talk to a minimum booger actually talking about just pissing our pants. That's Jason Witten thinks that peeing is coming. Yeah, that was as risque as he's slapping. NSF w on that. And then when Jason win was like, we'll too much information because I, no, no, I wanna talk more about this. Yes, I used to pee myself. Yeah, and Googlers moment to shine. It was and it was great and he delivered in the clutch. Yeah. So the other thing we need to talk about ally manning. I have a theory now because ally manning is not a good quarterback anymore and giants fans, if you were triggered right now, understand what I'm saying. I'll say it again. He is not a good quarterback anymore. That means he was a good quarterback. Two Super Bowl rings hall, Famer all that stuff. He's not a good quarterback anymore. And I, I can't stand the offensive line talk because yes, the offensive line is bad, but he like manning is the king of pressures coming just turtle and not look down field. They even had a moment where they circled three receivers, look, everyone's covered. He lies got nowhere to go and just ignored the fact that there was open receiver in the end zone which brings next point Monday night football crew in American general. It's like you can't say anything about about many. I think Archie manning is Kris Jenner football you that he's, he's pulling all he's the shadow commission. He really is. I, I agree with that. He's made it so that Peyton Manning, hey, member, when he put his balls on someone's face that one got a race. He the the, uh. Manning fraud when he was yelling that one got a race, and now these are like whatever you wanna talk about, but Archie manning, he is basically controlling the narrative of the manning family and getting it to a point where I actually think the giants ownership is afraid Mr. Mara to bench to bench ally. And like we said, Ben mcadoo is actually the only one with balls on this. What you remember that? What happened? Last guy, somebody bitch, he got the axe. Yeah, yeah, that that's a message right there. We don't talk shit about ally, but it's crazy because he, he clearly is not athletic anyway. He's the least starting quarterback or or he's falling into more sacks because his jersey will get dirty and it's easier proof that was actually true, but it it's, it's incredible watching him and watching, like even even Shurmur saying on the sidelines like yoga, you know, Dell was open. Where are you throwing it? He's missing guys and I know offense ivine I get it. I get it. Offense sucks. Russell Wilson's never had a very good offensive line and he makes things work. You have. To be an athlete in this in the NFL these days, you gotta make place your feet allies incapable of doing that. And I'm saying it again, sir, resigned. But here's a spin zone for all your giants fans out there. I'm a pose this question to you. PF is Eli, Manning's legacy two Super Bowls for the giants or being so bad. His last two years that he tanked his way to get him saquon Barkley and Justin Herbert now we're getting into legacy tall, which I, which I like, I think is legacy is that he beat Tom Brady twice and Super Bowl. So let's let's not talk about the fact that his defensive line was like all time. Good in in. Okay, but I, yeah, I think I don't think that his legacy is saquon Barkley I think saquon Barclays legacy is being so strong that the announces will only talk about squat numbers and he's on the, it's it's the easiest filler time ever. But I'm serious with this question because he li- manning is doing. He's almost like making sure that no giants fans on the way out can really bash him because he's rebuilding. By himself, my sucking so bad. He's rebuilding. The giants I think is legacy for being honest, is going to be his hilarious faces. Yeah. Well, that true, that's yes. If we're making a mount Rushmore of NFL faces, I think you gotta put both Manning's on, looks like a little kid in his helmet matter how old they should both of them on their kissing. Do that. Yeah. Yeah, they do that in a commercial tonight. Yeah, they made out. Yeah. This was a dream. You had a fever dream? I'm behind it. Yeah, Archie manning rates. My memory I'm going to I'm going to stand with you and just I'm going to think about now. Okay. Yeah, you get a little more Hansie pain. Just slapped his hands. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I saw two, maybe an Oriole commercial or something. I don't know. I fucking I remember he lap halo which creamed you like to lick years office. I like to. Get off your tongue pain. So funny member that time he threw football's those kids. That's l like fifteen years ago. I know this is becoming a manning bashing. I actually think that like when you, if you're just a football fan, you remove yourself. Guess what? The meetings have been great for football because they're willing to watch and they were both very, very good quarterbacks, but I'm still Archie manning is Kris Jenner, and he is controlled. The narrative on ally manning in Peyton Manning got got ally manning basically said that he's going to be a lawyer instead of play football unless they traded him to the. Yeah. And now there's a lot of talk about trade sending Eli down to like a contender right now. That's my fucking love that when that happened. And so that's also Archie manning. And every time they talk about the manning brothers on TV are a lot of the time. They have to say, you know, Cooper, the third brother, he was actually a better athlete than the other forces. So yeah, they're still trying to find him Archie manning. I'm gonna say that right now. I'm gonna circle. It file look at arch manning out the to say that publicly. Okay. Well, guess what you guys. Going down with me if we do it. All right part of this part of the next mega millions. All right. Let's do our hotseat cool thrown Hank wants. You start. My hot seat is the UN's global war on drugs. Okay. Hang. It's read x. woke, oh shit. You ended a report and drug related deaths have increased by one hundred forty, five percent over the last decade. And the UN basically came out and said that the fucked well, okay. Has something to do with the fact that we just started selling prescription heroin to everyone in saying that fix your back? Well, there's that and also if you wanna get real woke on at Hank, the UN has discussed many times about how to reduce the population of the world because our resources aren't sustainable enough. And so the war on drugs, killing more people actually means that the UN is doing their job perfectly for them. That's true. I thought it was. I thought it was kind of funny how they came out and basically said, you know, ten years ago, we said we're gonna make a big crusade on drugs. Yeah, we forgot about the doctors prescribing heroin ruin saying it was safe. Yeah. Those like thirty years ago. Yeah, that we all decided that, well, this is a ten year study though. Reflecting on, okay, cool. Thrown cross. Yeah. Okay, good. Nice. Little Yang. Yang here. My other heart, you could have been baseball because crosses coming for that. America's pastime sport of the future per meal awfully pastime was announced. TV deal. Teams are going to tour the country over fourteen weeks season broadcasting on NBC sports. This sounds like a real dodge touring investment groups such as the churn group. Says a real chessy six eating and bringing lacrosse, which is the fastest growing sport, not only Nash, forget national this, let's start talking worldwide, and we invest like, this sounds like it's going to print money. Yeah. I mean, it sounds like it's. Yeah, I don't know when. Season two weeks. They should tell you what double right now. Wow, wait till lacrosse players get on Twitter, petty wars. You know what? Put him on Sundays. I think the red zone channels got a real run for its money. You'll problem for football cross gets cooking, sound, invest soccer, and hockey soccer going going on a fourteen week tour across the country that that's just going to be like a bunch of bras with sweet hair just like crash on people's couches. Paul, Paul Rabah who's like the best cross play of all time. Household name. He's he's helping start the league and he's also playing in it. So get back to the Peter ternan in part. That's the part that I think America wants to go. Okay. Yep. Yep, he's the best investor in the world. Okay. Pity you go. That was it. Hank. I'll be thrown Hank's done, put in the minimum amount of work. Okay. The hot seat. My hot seat is taking shots. My hot seat is going to be my teeth because tell you what I ran on relatable. I ran out toothpastes morning and I don't want what gonna do. So if anyone out there has to. Actually, we do dollarshaveclub spots. I'm just messing around, but I will be absolutely plugging your toothpaste for free. If you send me Dollar Shave Club, his, our sponsor, my pays us money. Yes, my real hot seat is lake houses. I don't know if you read this article that came out, but they were talking about the caravan. I did not. Okay. So there's a caravan of of refugees and immigrants that are making their way north, like why Tamala up through Central America. They're going to cross the Texas border at least try to Mexico and the interviewed a a woman in Minnesota. Her name's Carol shield. She's a Minnesota resin. She's Harrell. Yup. She's worried that the refugees are going to take over there. Lake houses up in Minnesota. So she said she said, we have a lot of people up here who hang on, do my Minnesota accent. Sounds like Mike Greenberg with heal. Well. Well, we have a lot of people here who live on the lakes and in the summer, and then they winter somewhere else when they come back in the spring, their house would be occupied. Yeah, Damon, settle, go north from there. Tropical climate takeover lake houses in the winter and go ice fishing, not worried about the fact that all those lake houses become meth labs during the winter not worried about that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, they're, they're crystal. So if you have a lake house care might just want to give me the keys right now. I'll look after it for you. The doors. Yeah. All the Guatemalan refugees are going to spend their winters in Minnesota, correct? Yep. Michael thrown is c. t. e. so because Merril Hodge wrote a book about getting the truth about concussions and CT and none other than the scholar Ben Rothlisberger has endorsed it. Yes. So he's, I don't know what is what is blurb says, but I think it's something along the lines of concussions. Don't just happen on a football field. They can also happen when you ride your motorcycle. You try to. A helmet on because your faces so fat. But wait, Ben is the perfect person for blurb on here because he beat a concussion tests. Couple years. He's beat. So he, yes, he tanks. His baseline is someone who has knock on any dumber from concussion. I think been Roethlisberger's probably gotten a concussion from like passing out on his keyboard because he stays up to lake, unlike use computer yet to know Justin routes to go on web MD and research injuries that he hasn't had yet that he can fake. I'll say right now since the day he left college. Ben Rothlisberger has sat in front of a computer less than ten times ten times. I think you're underestimating bins pension, big cat coach. What do you think that's a phone and that's magazines now it's phone. I think he's probably he's got a desktop that uses Notre report, but here's the thing. It's not. He doesn't know about the internet. He probably uses his tablet that they give away to. They give for the place for the team. No, no. Bit Big. Ben has a desktop computer that he uses for porn, but he doesn't know how to hook it up to the. Net. So he's he's just been trying to Google without an internet search. And so every every once in a blue moon, he'll sneak into his study and just type in like big boobs, Google search bar. He goes to ones for sure. He just looks checks out eat, opens up a Microsoft Word document types of words, big boobs and looks at those jerks off to this absolute. Absolutely. Is that it? Yeah. Okay. I got hotseat the Oakland Raiders. So the Oakland Raiders what a season they've had. They just treated Amari Cooper for first round pick actually a great trade. I do not understand how the Dallas Cowboys gave up a first round pick for a marker, do you? Yeah, Jerry Jones. And the reason is Johnny Walker blue. It's that was a while trade as bad as like as much make fun of the Khalil Mack. You're trading way guys in his prime and all that. The Amari Cooper, I actually have theory that Jon Gruden is just packaging all the trades together. So when he goes to Mark Davis fantasies like, well, we trade Khalil Mack and Mark Hooper for three first round picks. It's like, oh, okay, wow, that's hall. You know how like sometimes you are. I might have a little bit too much to drink and go online shopping, and we wake up the next day. We see that we or ordered Merrill Hodge's book three wives ASTA week. Yeah, three showed up on the same day at incredible. I checked my Email this morning and it's it was a confirmation from Amazon that came through at two forty nine. And it said, you're your issue of Merle. Hodge's book on concussions will be delivered in two days. I don't remember buying that, but you know what it good. That's good surprised, but that's what Jerry Jones deals with. I think on a constant basis is he wakes up around eleven forty five or so in the morning, and he's a I gave gave what for what now? Yeah, but I like it's a wide receiver giving some of that glory hole. And so we also have the raiders because it it has been reported that the team basically has a fractured relationship with Derek Carr because they saw him crying, maybe not crying whatever. He just has a motion allies. Is in the London game two weeks ago. I know we joked about it about him crying on field. Now, real talk for a second. If you actually think their car is like not tough, urine Saint, yeah, he played with a fractured back and the fracture back. He just hasn't motion allies, broken leg while he's got the mascara scare. Look in a little cry, something. Thing, you know, cars breakdown. Right? But it's crazy that this is a real story. I don't know what it is, but member dare cardmember last year is like the line is not blocking for him because he didn't support capture Nick. What is up with their cars. He to people just is he just have a shitty personality. 'cause I don't think it's the cry thing. He's tough guy. He's been in the pocket gotten killed a million times, but it's weird like these stories keep popping up for him. I have no idea what I think Derek Carr. It's like he's, he's just good enough to suck. Yeah. So he's just enough to give you enough expectations to be disappointed. Yes. Also, I don't know if you saw, but marshawn Lynch is out. I don't know if he's out for the year or if he's out for a long time forever. So this tells me that there's something wrong in that locker room. He's out with an injured. Groin is the explanation they gave. I don't think that marshawn Lynch is capable of having his groin injured. Yeah, his balls in the hill. He is. He's got very clear, no snow. He actually, he absolutely. No. He's got a dick that probably responds like a lizard's tail if it gets cut off, put, he's got an integral. I don't think he does. I think he just doesn't want to. I think he doesn't play for John McCarthy. Yeah. Well, I think it's probably both. Yeah. And then I don't. If you saw this. But the heart factor guys, you can listen to him every Monday through Thursday, download subscribe, give them a rating. It's fifty minute news, podcasts. They got an exclusive with Alex Jones outside of the cruise Trump rally, and they asked him if the raiders were doing a controlled demolition of their own team from the inside. Alex Jones actually said, I can. I like the raiders because I see a lot of traffic to info wars dot com. Coming from with inside that building. Oh, Jon Gruden, John. Well, Mark Davis Jon Gruden and probably Tennessee and Tom cable, checking out some stuff that he ended up in Seattle. Ok, well, there you go. The raiders are the raiders might be the most interesting one in sixteen or one in five team, whatever the record is that we've ever had left into a power ranking of the most interesting five to you is also up there. So my other hotseat real quick Britney Spears baby one more time twenty years ago today. So you wanna feel old? We are old assholes. Yeah, that that that CD was life changing? Yeah. In retrospect, that was. Is a problematic music video. What sixteen? Well, we were thirteen. It wasn't always fine. Yeah, but through today's lens, how does that work in my allowed to know your fun to look back in feel the feeling that you felt with Iraq? Thirteen. It was a field look at the video and feeling so Hank fun fact about that. Her cousin was the one that played her love interest in the gym, the guy with the basketball. So yeah, that's not fun. That's creepy. That's even worse. FDR Mary discussing the Nazis, Albert Einstein, smartest man in the world. Married discuss. All right. There you go. Yeah, cool thrown. I have Blake Blake's plural. Both of our Blake's Blake Griffin, fifty burger. Blake Griffin like again, real talk. Hey, we watch that whole game. We'd bet on the pistons. He's got handles and he's like basically changes entire game where he shoots really well and he's like creditably Griffin for changing his game. He doesn't have the same hop. It's pretty good. Good hops, but he's being able to he's, he's evolved his game. No, that's even better companies evolved this game and Bortles named starter. That's right in in London for this, we're for the second time in two months. He was named starter. That's gotta be a record for Blake's. Yeah. Let me say this real quick Cody Kessler if you're listening to this, you are so close to getting a hit piece video. Dodge real close on Monday. You are lucky my and let this be awful warning to offense. But if I were you, I wouldn't go near that starting Joe. And if you're, you know what? The hell that's gonna follow with us. If you take Blake Bortles job away from the job that he's earned job, that he's worked to keep the job that he's perfected Jacksonville, you don't wanna go anywhere near that. My friend hip fucking rail deck. Unless Blake Bortles is friends with coda castle than just ignore everything. We just said, because then you're our friend or if you're just a nice guy. Yeah. So is it, is it Blake the year talk that we're having right now or. No, that's that's in the summer. Is it the year? The Blake? I think it's both back been a big year on both of them before we get to our interview with boomer Sizon a quick couple words from our sponsors. We are sitting in the WFAN's studios. We are joined by legend MVP. Oversight now. Okay. So let's start there boomer SEIs in. I'm in trouble. 'cause I just did my research for Phil Simms. Pictures right over my shoulder here. Let's actually start there. Do you? I say MVP. Do you think of yourself as an ex athlete more or because you've been in like the business for so long, your media guy? I little bit of both man. You know, I've learned one thing about being in the media, you better have a sharp opinion. You're not going to be successful for very long and always tell athletes if they get mad at me or coaches, if they get mad Amee, look, I got a family to feed. I gotta pay bills just like you guys do. And just because I played with you, I may understand some of the troubles and trials and tribulations you're going through. But that doesn't mean I can't give an honest goodness taken and bring the credibility that I'd like to think I have to the table which which player coach has gotten the most angry with you. Boy, I'll tell you what, man. It's been a lot of guys here in New York. It's probably I'm sure Rex had a few issues with me. I'm sure that. Ben mcadoo said a few issues, maybe even Tom Kaufman for that matter. Because when you're when you criticize, nobody likes to be criticized. Let's face it. I'd much rather be covering Super Bowl teams, you know, when the giants, those two Super Bowls, that stuff is easy because now you just celebrating giant lower and giant history rate, giant players, and you bring it back all the old guys from the from the eighties that one Super Bowls mammal. And they go south and they'd been south five out of the last six years. It stopped because you got to be critical at the mean spirit about it, and I don't wanna go after anybody personally, but God, man, if you don't bring an honest, goodness sake, then the fans, you know that you're fraud. Was there over one that you wish you could take back? You know, I got into it once accident accidentally with tro accidentally. Yeah, Troy Aikman I basically I heard a one of his games and of course it was a, it was a game that had something to do with the patriots, and I was doing a w hit every Monday. Turning up there during the football season. And I kind of agreed with the guys on the air that maybe Troy had a bias take because he was a cowboy which is asinine a my part. I just kinda got duped, and I got like. Dragged into it and I agreed and and I felt bad. I've really just because I know Troy works hard and Troy's a pretty a great broadcaster and I actually had to send an apology. Thome was wrong. How'd you note? I just I can't remember if I reached out to him the voicemail or sentimen Email. I can't remember. It was probably a good ten years ago now. Yeah. Credit to you. A lot of people probably wouldn't. I probably wouldn't do that. And sometimes you feel like you said the wrong thing or you've gone. I even got into an issue with Daniel Murphy missing opening day because his wife was giving birth and. Put your guy, but I was, I was basically said, you know something really stupid about a c. section and all this other crap. And then I got myself embroiled in this. And then of course, you boy, Matt Lauer takes me to task on. Someone who can take disavows. I was basically under siege for about a week because of my my inappropriate way of describing something with that because I know we, we've, we've had it in our from our side. We've been under siege before many times, but always wonder guy like you who's got both the success in in his football career and then success media career to still can people bother you not bother you. I don't want you know what I learned from my previous partner credit card. And is that when you walk out of the studio, just forget what you said. And I try to do the best I can and and remember that this is about entertaining people. You know, people check your podcast because they wanna laugh, right? They want your unique take on things, and you guys are full of crap half the time. But it's, but it's funny, but that's what people are listening for. That's what they want. So it's funny that you say, because like when I walk out when we're done with the podcast, I blackout one doing it. I don't remember what I just said, and then it takes somebody reminding me the next morning. I said, hey, here's the Twitter. They always remind you, you know, and I usually get if I have a bad take on Eli manning, which I probably have had the last three years all here from the giant fan like, oh, you didn't want any Super Bowls. You're jealous, you're. I mean. I'm just like other fans that reach out to you and they're like, hey, you never won the Super Bowl. So you say you brought that up. He's like, you didn't win a Super Bowl. I didn't. Yeah, I'm happy. You brought that up. We need to bring that. Okay, fine. I want to. What do you got. Setting on the field with me? Yeah, hit the Anki. So why do I hit the Yankee? Because they win a bunch and you didn't? Yes. Take. That's take that one actually fed to me by someone at our office who's like, I've always thought that boomer just hates the Yankees because he never won the big one that's hot take that is a hot Tommy smokes. You look down at us and you're like these guys ever played the game? No. Talk about my game. No. I mean now I think it's great. I think the more interest the better. I mean after the last five years in the NFL right matching where I'm sitting so I'm I'm discussing domestic violence. I'm discussing discussing flag protests. I'm getting involved with Charles Barkley, getting in arguments on t- on the TV like, you know, the the guy that's trying to think of a way to bring this thing sanity to it. And this is the first year that I can remember in the last five, at least that were at least celebrating the game and guys like you perpetuate that celebration by what you do on your podcast. I'm wrong. Yeah, I think the NFL. Are you going to get your paycheck? We're making relevant. Do you think? Do you ever sit back like, man, I wish I was born like twenty years later. 'cause I would put up stats because you put her two years later. We use lit up like crazy stats for the air that you played it. Yeah, all the guys that we played with and against the all had great careers. Most of the quarterbacks think back of my era, they all stayed with their teams for a long period of time, ten, twelve thirteen years and got the shit beat out of us. We really did, you know, and and I looked today's game on, I love today's game. I love the fact that the quarterbacks aren't getting hit as much as we got hit. I love the fact that they can stay on the field longer and that they can play longer because that's what we love. We loved the guys like Brady and Brees and robs burger and rivers dial in on a Sunday. You know, those guys are going to be there putting up big numbers. So, yeah, I wish our thirty years younger than I wouldn't have gotten into this business. I don't think, but I also know this and I'm like a weird spot because the guys today are. Making so much freaking money that they don't have to do this every day for a living like I do. Right, right. Yeah, that's true about that for. Yeah, yeah. How many idiots from this day and age or gonna get up at four fifteen every morning to do a morning radio show. I could see Philip rivers doing it just because his kids have already got off and he's just got. He has to have an outlet to say his weird stuff so I could see him to. Yeah, you're right. Like there's no reason for those guys develop that skill afterwards. Got, I'm just glad that Peyton Manning doesn't want to do this for a living that way. If you. Yeah, if you were in his shoes, like the world is you're always ter- he could pretty much go anywhere have any job in media that he wanted, or he could go be a GM somewhere. What would you? I think he wants to be jam or an owner, like Derek jeeter type I, which is ruined team. Try to rebel, just got their man. Just give them a break. I know statue, good job. I would've liked Christian yelich from my team as opposed to brewers. But my team, the Mets doesn't do anything. They won't do anything like that. You got pitching, we do pitching, but yeah. Dr too. Yeah. Just that NYPD softball jersey behind you is that, is that your jersey that is not my jersey that was actually the precinct precinct one, zero five. They lost three officers there. So we Creggan island Craig carton was here. We had a softball game at Yankee Stadium. Yeah, and we showed up and I know what he's asked. We raise the Tonnetto. Yeah. Was that the one with Chris? Christie. Giuliani and Christmas picture. When you saw Chris, Christie walk in wearing those pants. What? What trust your mind. I felt bad for him actually because I knew that that was going to be this story app, Chris, you're led to wear under to write about Chris. Christie though he didn't give a crap. He doesn't care. He didn't care what eight fought. It was out there at third base rolling around third. I mean, he just didn't care out. Didn't care with that with. Whatever you're gonna vote, whatever you wanna call it. I have to tell you that. I wish I had a little that me like, right, didn't care much. Yeah, I care too much. I want to make sure I look good in the uniform all that other stuff. Each just didn't seem to give a crap about winning thought. Is that a good thing? I got entire state that your private beach, you really don't care what nobody to tell you anything private bridges. You don't pay for the subways. And you're, you're just caught the hook line and sinker. Political bullshit. You mentioned you mentioned your former partner, Craig. I wanted to just bring it up quickly. I know you can't get into the details. But the interesting part from my side is you wake up one morning and it's like if PF I woke up one morning, hey, you guys aren't gonna be doing the show anymore was, was it just pure shock? Or how did that kind of how did that progress over that morning through the next couple of days? I came in the morning and and I've said this before, so I'm not saying it for the first time here. Something new. I'll try. Warning and Al dukes basically told me Craig was in coming, got a call from Craig's wife that he's not coming in. I figured that he was ill. He was sick or whatever, and it was it was the Wednesday after Labor Day. So we had a three day weekend. We were coming off of a long vacation prior to that. So I basically start to show by saying, you know, numb, nuts. It's not gonna be here. Today's already taken a sick day, like I was pissed and because I know he was the engine that drove the show. And then around seven fifteen started popping up on the the internet that he was arrested. And then all of a sudden on the TV screens here in these studios, you can see on the scrawls in the bottom. You can see that Craig carton Colo's the boomer guard Saddam. My name's be was arrested by the FBI this morning. And so we came back from break and I'm on the air on high definition on CBS sports network as well as here on WFAN, and I was just like, well, I know what everybody sees out there as shocked as everybody else's. I was. Taking you found out while you're on air. That's crazy. Yes. And the Twitter feed. And then I remember Mark chernoff our program director came in here and said, don't say anything don't say. Where were spokes a sports talk show in the and the guy that I host the show with his not here I have to say, right? Yeah, right. So I just tried to be honest and spoke directly into shocked. It would have been strange if you didn't say anything. Did you. I was I was floored by the whole thing, the enormity of it and we're on you when you get and you sit back and then you start talking to your coworkers about some of the things that led up to it. Maybe you connect the dot here or there about some pressure in his life and all that other stuff. I still believe in him. I believe that Craig has got a really good, compassionate heart. I, I used to make fun of here because of all the different things that has wrong with them. You know is like, oh, CDs, got ADD. He's he's a, he's got restless leg syndrome has got a touch Taran. I mean, that's what made him so good on the air. That sounds like the perfect combination for sports talk show host. I it was. And like I said, he never cared about anything that he said and I'll forget maybe the best day that we had. I don't know. Maybe it wasn't the best day for the subject matter. But for me, I came back from the Monday night football game. It was an early Tuesday morning and Alan Krueger bouncing off the walls and I'm like, what? What is going on? All we got. We got something. That nobody's got out there and I'm like, what? What is it? So I wanted to Craig's office and Alan Craig play this video on the internet, and I hear this voice. I'm like, I know that voice. What's the voice Jesus is that Rex Ryan talking about his wife's feet. Oh, and he's like, yes, we got it. Nobody has. So we broke it that morning and I'm like band. Fourth in a foot will never be the same. I mean, we went on for like three days with that, and it just totally engulfed the radio station. And the way that Craig manipulated that I thought was brilliant. But you know, I just hope that whatever happens the Craig, that it's not too serious and that somehow some way he gets his career back on track, which I think he will. Yeah, I'm thinking maybe if something does happen where he does lose this court fight maybe becomes a Martha. Stewart kind of person comes back and you know, redeems himself or whatever. But I still believe in my heart, I believe that he got confused and a lot of things happen where we don't know the the full story yet and on, hopefully somebody on the jury will say at that. Yeah, ever judged somebody because you don't know what's going on there. They might. Everybody's got things we do. We have. We need you guys. How long did it take for the shock kinda like wear off? I don't know. Man. Last year is a fog. The whole fall for me was a fog. Thankfully, Eddie and Al and Bobby and Jerry were guys that I worked with were great, and we all kind of fought through it together, but it was the radio station was in a real state of the I dunno shock. I would say everybody was depressed around here. And then of course you had big Mike retiring at the same? Yep. You had a lot of different things going on, and you had a lot of different decisions being made by people who are no longer run in the company because the company was switching. So you add CBS leaving Entercom coming in. Mike was retiring, Craig. Got arrested. You had you had to try to fill the afternoon show so you had new personalities coming in here? It was crazy. It was like, I wish I wrote down notes about all of it and everything else, and maybe some day I'll reflect back on it. Maybe I'll write a book about those six months or four months I should say, but it was. It was pretty difficult when you put it that way. It sounds like a season, a madman all the shit that goes down at one time. Now when when you were trying to figure out who's going to take over. Who you're going to click with, how did you know that like, okay, Geos the guy like me and big cat said earlier when we both agreed that Cal Ripken junior did steroids at least that we should talk about it because it's funny, how did you know was a moment where you're like, okay, this is my. I don't even think geo knows this. You know, I had people coming into my office that out of the blue just telling me how great GIO. Now I've known GIO for a long time. I've taken the Monday night games his Vikings and you know, and so we have a somewhat of a reasonable religious by psalm over here at CBS every morning with Brian Jones. And we love having Brian came used to come in on Fridays and do football Friday's with us. After Craig was arrested and everything, and Brian was great, so I knew GIO was and I kind of knew how funny was I just didn't know how funny he was, and then it just took a little time for us to find some synergy and all that other stuff. And then once he finally let it loose and I forget, I forget which day it was. It was probably about a month and he went off on something and there's my, the guy and he's going to be great and. He's a Long Island guy like me plus younger than me, which I think is great as it gives you a different piece younger than me, but one day. Tell them all about odd. Future's all the good bands. You guys talked about my daughter Sydney, right? So I have a son goners twenty seven cities twenty-six. He's going to get married next summer. So I'm at different stage in life than GIO is right. GIO has a new boat born at home. He's thirty six years old. He's trying to each got a new job. He's got all these things coming at them from different sides. So it's a little fricken frac on our end that works does work, man it, and it's it's been really good nineteen year old just to hang out with you. Jio when we leaving the, you know, our offices full of a lot of New York guys who listen to the station. And like it happened probably about a couple of months ago where I heard the conversation. They're like, you know, they, you know, boomer and carton until I meant Joe's really good. Like I liked the show now, and I think that that having that validation where it's like, oh, yeah, because of course. His persons are spot on the guys that were on the station. Yeah. So when he goes into those impersonations and he does not hold back so yes about that. So we're not PT and I obviously aren't New York guys. So you have to explain this to us as simple as possible. Like maybe we're five year olds. Why do you hate Mike francesa? I don't hate him. I think he's actually good for the station, and I think he's right for us in the morning because we make fun of everybody. We make fun of ourselves. We make fun of Joe and Evan, we've make fun of him be. We make fun of Steve Somers. If you work here, we make fun of you and we make fun of our own selves, especially when you listen to Eddie xerri with all the drops that he drops into our show, and he tries to make us look ridiculous. So no, everybody's fair game to the people who work here on the air and off the air. Do you wish he would reciprocated? Sometimes he should. I mean, sometimes he does sometimes you'll say, were jealous or whatever. You know, mindless, whatever. Okay. Boomer size and says, Mike, francesa mindless. Yes. Well, Mike francesa said boomer is mindless. Great. Mike francesa said upset yet. Mike francesa thinks he's my, you know, the funny thing is, is that the other shows here take shots at me, right? Joe vending Bouma. He knows nothing or. Chris Carlin with a shot at me, call me stupid or whatever, which is fine, which is it's all good natured. I don't take any of its and that's exactly what it is. Them balls. It's about sports. We're really going to get upset about somebody's take on us ever. Did you ever interact with Mike? Do you ever see him? I don't really say that much every now and then we'll do a company thing and we'll be together. I know we had that company retreat or something over to city winery, and he came up on stage and I gave him a big hug in front of everybody. Nice for the picture. What I actually live in the same town every now. And again, I'll see him in the same page. Oh, you read that engine and try to run them over. It was kind of funny. I did see him. I will say this after Craig got arrested and I gave my credit for this after Craig got arrested. Mike, I ran into him in the hallway, Sarah, Neil. Make us ho gonna have to get a new partner. It was pretty funny. I mean, I think that was the dig that he was taking. Craig threw me, I guess, but yet every opportunity to go after Craig on the air and he never did that, you know? So. And I think the reason he didn't do that is because he felt like Craig's as a white and children dealing with some heavy lifting right now. Nobody wants to take a shot at somebody in this situation, right? If you have a bad take on the air, you don't agree with somebody on the air. You can go after him that way. But I think Mike has always been above board in regards to not attacking Craig after being attacked by Craig for about eight years show. And yeah. So when you were getting into this business or somebody out there that you looked up to someone that you're like, I want to do with that guy does not really, not really. I mean, I started back at the university of Maryland, so I was an intern Jeb, Jay z. television channel thirteen in Baltimore. Probably a big grease man fan than I do the love the grease. Yes, so, but, but here's the thing that was TV so I worked for Gayle Gardner. I was cutting tape for Gail Gardner. She was doing the news anchor shoes, the news anchor or sport. Anchor down there. I think prior to her going to ESPN and you know who the local reporter on the staff there at channel thirteen was Oprah Winfrey. Wow. So I was at channel thirteen. When Oprah Winfrey was they're not income the billionaire. She's you make her to like, no, no, no, no. But you know, it was kind of interesting. You just never know where you're going to get you start. So that opened me up to like the sports media world, and I loved it when I was at Maryland and I became, you know, just pretty good at it. Yeah. And then I, I was part of the show here. So the way I got the job here is I was calling into the, I'm in the morning radiothon that they were raising money for the CJ foundation for SIDS. Joel Hollander was the boss here. He lost his daughter CJ Carly to said, so they will raise the money for that and the Imus ranch right saw it was back in two thousand seven in April. I was calling in to make donation Imus had just put in put on suspension because the nappy headed ho comments. He made about the Rutgers women's basketball program. I'm out in Arizona on a golf course playing golf, and I'm calling in ace Kaz, airy is on the board, and he says, we're not taking any more calls boomer. I'm just got fired. I'm just got fired and Eddie hung up on me. It was all nervous. I'm like, oh my God. So two seconds later my agent, Steve Rosner calls me why? Because he's in studio with Joel Hollander because they're raising money and Deirdre Imus was running the show if I remember correctly, and my agent says to me how to do pointing radio, this is how these people think right. The carcass is not even in the graduate and somebody's already thinking about the replacement. I'm like, I don't know. They're gonna pay me like I'm getting paid like a starting quarterback in the NFL at that. And they said, well, maybe who knows that? Okay, I'm interested and then they, they went from there. They put me on the air for about a week and I liked it was okay. And then they put me in Craig in a studio in July. And I really liked it because I like Craig's take on things. And I said, I think I could do this. Is there ever moment at the beginning where you thought you were going to be the quarterback with Craig? Yeah, initially you have the awkwardness, right? Right. When you first get together, I had who's starting the show who's taking you out of commercial bringing you back from commercial and there was this awkward kind of like, I'll do it on the even our, you do it on the hour. And then I realize I'm like women, he's the frigging radio guy. He's really good at it, but him do it, but him set the content, let him set the show and and I think it worked out that way in every now. And again, I would take it back when I thought I had something to say, but Craig was good that way. And then I had learned that GIO could do that too. That's a whole nother thing. So when GIO I got in here, I just come off a four months of running the show with Jerry. I was more active and more setting the show, which I didn't really like, yeah. Was the biggest fight you would get into with Craig's. Zoe's funded. Interesting. You know, we obviously have PF in Hank and I, you know, we're very close. It's basically like a family. It's a marriage essentially where you're with each other all the time, and we always laugh because we get on the road. We'll be on the road for a week, and we'll have that one moment where we'll be sitting an Uber and we'll just won't talk to each other like everyone needs their own space. Did you have that with Craig or never had really one crossword with Craig throughout the nine or ten years that we worked. He just did it pass a we. We lead the studio. We never had a bad day for a bad day. Dan, I never, I never albums big cat. I know second guessing. Okay. MS. What is she? What are you saying is just like, you know, occasionally you're around somebody. It's like if you have a sleepover with the same friend for five nights. Probably time to just go home with their own beds at sometimes. I'm sure that he probably at times this is the whole self-awareness thing, right? So I think that he probably felt the times that I felt like I was the athlete in the MVP and also the big cat things about me. Awkward sometimes. So there may have been some whatever stress there. Maybe I thought that he was this radio, crazy guy that was making this crap up. But at the end of day, I think we all realize that was four hours entertainment. We try to do the best we possibly could and not only through he and I, but with the rest of the guys that we worked with because they became more and more and part of the show. And as you see today, it's the same thing with GIO. Geos fit in seamlessly key is the guy that sets show now he's the guy that drives it wherever we want to drive it to our wherever he wants to drive a tune, and I shall let them do that because he's really good at it. And if you are the one that will tell you the quarterback mentality is get the guy to ball and let him. I try to the referee if you get tackled too hard. That may be the case depending on what team you play. Do you wanna apologize to us for being a lefty? Because lefty quarterbacks are gross. Also wear. Awesome. Grew view to watch us very hard when you watch to down there at Alabama's that hard to watch. Well, he's, he's all the win, Wisconsin. It's mostly cats, upset. Left-hand quarterbacks, Wisconsin as bad. If you have a left hand quarterback, that isn't very good. It's the ugliest thing listing of all time. I'm going to tell you about you have a quarterback on the university of Wisconsin roster that eventually going to take over. Oh, who's that? He's from Long Island. His name is Jack Cohn. Okay. You can look them up. Star was that he's one stocks a star. No, shut up. I'm telling you, do we have a five star cries story there? He's on the roster. This is something wrong with them. No, it's not. The transfer Johnson has actually won with this quarterback that you have. Now, I know I know I give them a hard time and you do. But it's a college relax with that. I am attack your athletes making millions of dollars for Heisman shirts for Heisman shirts. It's more PF t I actually, I agree with you to some level that like don't go all in on college kids except Duke players because they're getting paid just but bring them. Bring them, it's win, win. A lefty. Quarterback screws up. It's basically the worst quarterback play hard. It's hard for you guys to understand that we actually can know dumb brains or so conditioned to seeing throw pass right in that. If you mess up with his left end, we're like, oh, it's because it uses left generation doesn't really have any. No, that's it. Pretty good. A love it. Yeah, there's not there to is going to be the guy, and then you see, you allegedly say this mysterious man who was kansin has, but he's he's a righty. Okay, Long Island. Righty. All right, Jack, hopefully I'm right about that because he dominated football, Long Island, which is not great football, but still football, and he elected to go to Wisconsin because as I heard, supposedly now I'm getting the secondhand when he went there for his his visit. Right? They brought all these other big offense of Lyman in that were there with him and coach at look at these. When you become Mike nineteen or twenty crazy that we'd never can get a quarterback because of what you just said. Like why wouldn't a quarterback wanna play behind a huge offense via big offense of Lyman and Wisconsin wanna play at wiscon-, right? Isn't that the craziest? We play a pro style offense and don't really, I think would happen. The game has changed so much that guys wanna go and they wanna play in the spread. They wanna throw the ball sixty times a kind of feel sorry for you guys, but I am the university of Maryland. I'm we're not doing too big ten by the way. I've not granted, yeah, while we beat Minnesota, we can be. Here's last week by God. Walkers, either. You'll ER we get the check on the show. We got and got beat a bliss, Texas was in the big ten you guys would be in the beginning, we beat Texas back. SEC team or big boys in the big real football was played, and we. No down in Austin. You know what I'm talking? I know. Yeah, football tells you spoke a lot of we'd done here in Austin. Looks like you smoke weed. No, I don't ever smoke. We never nerd. We never the only time I've ever been high on Weadock. Oh. Now we believe you. You're you're quitted there? Yes. Okay. Pepsi seven years old. Yes. I was a little bit straight line, but I will say that the only time that I've gotten high was when I was doing a game up insolvent stadium back in the day because the radio booth was on the opposite side of the press box, and it was like a lean to in the stands. And it was a really dreary Monday night. It was Kansas City versus obviously the patriots. Both teams were like three and nine or something. It was one of these ugly Monday night games, Thursday night game between Denver and arid Sonal, and there was some guy outside of our booth smoking and blowing the air under the booth. So Matt Millen and I were working with Howard David that night and he and I have way through the first quarter are laughing and giggling, and we are starving. That's why those are all the attributes and symptoms of being. Hi. I'm assuming that million stone to get. Overalls. He was not wearing his overalls, but the next year he left at booth and went to go run the doubt the Detroit Lions that worked out. Well, it didn't say he did it. Yeah. I mean, you did what we did the TV for minute. I got fired replaced by Dennis Miller. Yeah, because you didn't get along without Michael's. Right. It was something like that. I guess who doesn't get along without Michael's. That's a good question. I don't know how many actually, you know I was a novice. I got into the booth. I was an office. I worked with him and Dan or if the first year I thought we got along great with everybody. And then out of the blue, Dan was like, oh, forget over at the Pro Bowl because we, the Pro Bowl back then. Then he was like, oh, then it was being Alan a booth together and it just never clicked got along. I can't imagine what that was like getting fired from that job. And then watching Dennis Miller like the next year and you tune in. You're like, why took the radio on Monday night? I took it, yeah. So interestingly enough, it goes back to Joel Hollander again who hired me for WFAN or got me the job offer for WFAN. He was running Westwood One radio at that time. So that was nine hundred ninety nine and I got fired. And immediately after I was fired, he asked me, would you want to do the Westwood One Monday night radio booth at that's come on that radio. I'm I'm looking down on radio. I want to do more television TV guy. Right? And. There were a lot of other people that got fired with me. Lesley Visser got fired, producer director, Jonathan wolf. They got fired and thirty people got axed with me. So it wasn't John handed all of them, whatever. But you know, I, I made them. I don't know if it was a mistake, but I did say ABC stood for broadcasting company. So I took a couple of shots on the way out like you normally should and be seen. I felt good about doing it. So I got it off my chest, but then I took the radio and then I was doing Monday night radio, and I couple times I ran into Dennis Miller. I have no angst against an out to get my job that just offered it to them. Right. So, and they also had Dan Fouts in the booth and that Eric Dickerson honor silence. So they changed the whole thing around and Dennis tried to bring his brand of humor to a football game over Bill. It's no didn't work a bone to pick with you because your show is on Showtime at like midnight. When I was, you know, thirteen fourteen years old trying to find something good if you're saying yeah, it'd be like, okay, I hour of this guy talking about football before I get to it, though. It inspired you. Yes, yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. I will say this when I look back when it's all over said and done with, I've had two of the best chairs that you could possibly ever have in sports broadcasting. Actually three if you count Monday night football on television for two years, but the NFL. Today inside the NFL those chairs, man that they're awesome. Awesome jobs. Yeah, inside the NFL is like one of those classic. I just every time it's onset to watch it because it's just highlights. Yes, yes, yeah. And that's how you fall in love with the game. All right. We got a couple of questions left to the key question. Real quick. Putting promo code take ten dollars off. Go see boomers Rangers, lose promo code. Take seek you wanna talk about the Rangers. Is that a live read? Did you just do a lie. I to suck at it. That was pretty good. Cake you. Oh, I'm sorry. Do you not remember what I just said? Sounds like I did a good job. Seek backtra me what's coach do a fan. I take, you know, you know, hey, talk about your shitty Rangers. My brain's not shitty. My Rangers are young, they're hungry, they're feisty. And you saw that down in Washington on a back to back against just does nothing but go out there on a power play, just shoot. That's all he does because he's super hung over for winning. Exactly. I mean act like been there had never been there. Like he'd been let me say one one since I've been alive personally. Yes. Yeah. I consider me an extension. The ninety, four Rangers? Yes. Yeah. How was there for every single game? My son was on my lap. I was getting a lot of crap at home because my son who had CF I would take them to every single ranger game, and I told them then, although he doesn't remember it that you may never ever see this again. So we're going to experience together. No one. Will you missed the OJ chase because you're too busy watching your hockey that the OJ chased was going on during the Knicks series and the Knicks were plain the Houston. And I was actually at a bachelor party and people were not interested in what was going on at the bachelor party. They were more interested. What was going on with OJ Al Cowlings in the white Bronco. Appreciate the Rangers play that by the way, you probably didn't know that I was front and center of the OJ trial. No, I didn't know that. Yes. So my sister who's no longer with us just was fascinated by the whole OJ trial of reality nature of the TV and the the core. Room and all that other crap and outcomes is huge photo of me being interviewed by OJ at one of our playoff games and he's got the gloves and the Bruno Magli. I am. I am right there center of the whole room in the whole world to see. And I was one of us the shoes, a hundred of them gloves that didn't fit that day. That right now. That's crazy. All right. So that was not the c. key question because we really didn't wanna talk about the to see question is, do you like skyline chili? I do. I'm not crazy about it, but I like it. Tender, sign autographs at Cincinnati past booed is what it is. Okay. That's their version of fast food. If you never had to sign another autograph in Cincinnati, would your answer be different? I don't actually go back to Cincinnati and sign autographs. What's your favorite part about the skyline chilies of the fact that tastes like poop or the fact that it looks like poop or that makes it helps poop. Poop. Helps you go. Yeah. Do you want to you want to ask about the feline fully? I do wanna ask about the feeling. So you are directly, you're literally contributing to the push vacation of America? Yes, that's fine by managing a bunch of cats running around, do they wear pads, they don't wear pads now you're pro that's giving them brain damage, but but really there is a serious side to it. I don't know. Josh, she get into this. Tell me what the feline football. Feline football. Let's make. Mr.. Last cats. Yeah. And by the way that's best Beth stern of straw ski or strategies, stern, I should say, who does this? So Howard Stern's wife is the one that's pushing all of this and the show. America Commissioner. She said, hey, do this. And I'm like, I'm more of a dog guy, but he's doing it because the paycheck is pretty nice. Okay. All right. You know and they played Super Bowl Sunday. And by the way guys, there's more people that watch that show than listen to this podcast. That's I don't know if that's true, but also I do know that you probably get cooked every Super Bowl Sunday by the people. Yeah, that's what people really more women who live alone in their fifties. At watch that show, then listen, that's probably gotta work demos. Owning boomer. How about our first game that mean big cat call can be the feline yet. Can we sponsor a cat? We spray paint a cat do that. Yeah. Schram orange and black and tiger. Yeah, but I am like Mr. hallmark channel. Yes, in ROY that did you. Laurence Welk of this generation. Yeah, everyone. Everyone feels safe when boomer shows up. We didn't get that old. Yeah. No, I do. Yeah. Well, you have no idea, serial guy. No, it's a guy. You also put you. Probably a lot of detail. I would say Google it down. Well, go get guys have no idea who Laurence Welk is or at a variety show on TV every Sunday night talking. I watched for products like in the sixties and seventies born nineteen eighty five. It's just a problem with you. Younger. You guys don't look back to history at all. We just look back to the guy who was doing the hallmark channel right? You got me. There was WalMart channel, but it was the hallmark Sunday evenings on you saying you're like you're the most trustworthy guy on TV and everyone's like, man, there's boomer. We can trust him. I don't know about after doing this interview, probably not probably. She just. Yeah, you're in trouble now. I'm I think I'm done with all my questions Ono actually, I do want to serious question real quick. I know you have your son's foundation founded year foundations. Well, it's well my foundation, but it's your it was not just for my son, it's for everybody was CF. Okay. So so, but it's yours? Yeah, it's called boomer size, put it's for everyone as for all CF around the world, actually. Okay. And my son actually is a big part of it. He's twenty seven years old. Now we're living a medical miracle as we sit here, so to be really serious. So it was it was diagnosed when I became the jet quarterback and my life changed immensely at that moment in one thousand nine hundred three gun or an hour on the cover of Sports Illustrated. It was called a quarterbacks crusade. I remember that. And now here we are in two thousand eighteen and gunners amazing. And there's been so many drug developments over the last ten years, especially in the last five years specifically that you know, who knows? I think he can outlive me and that's really my goal. Yeah, and it is really remarkable what has happened in the world, cystic fibrosis, Detroit, untold story that more rare diseases should go through the process. Like we have gone over the last twenty five years. And I think you know, CFO be radically from the earth in about five to ten years. Wow, that's incredible. So where can people what's the size and dot org, our website, and and if you know anybody would CF that wants to be interviewed by garner because he does his own podcast, his own blog and podcast gonna size dot com. So gets on there with patients and really breaks what down, like what it's like, living with what you can do and what you should do, how you should live your life. I, you should try to get the most out of life. Don't take your treatments for granted. I mean, he's pretty, he's pretty funny. He's pretty honest about his own situation, his blogs or funny, he follows you guys. He's barstool guy. He, he and Sydney both want the Boston College so they know KFC pretty well the whole story behind all of this. But he has learned through. What you guys have done, what borstal is done and how to really take his message in his world to a whole 'nother level. And that I couldn't be any more proud of. And he goes around the country giving speeches in front of fifteen hundred people. That's awesome. Like much of my twenty seven year old son do these things, and I'm like, wow, this kid is pretty amazing. I can't even talk big cat. Well, I mean, I was gonna say, this has been a fun interview and you sufficiently made us feel like Astles can ask. Not good guys. You got it. You got a spot in a world and you found your spot and you're making them. Here's an idea for you. Yes, you'd have on the size in dot com. Dot size, dot org. Saw size, dot, org dot. You wanted to put this up there. We'll do it. We'll put it put a Lincoln, but you have a hundred dollar donates. Don't feel like an asshole button, and then people will just go there with guilty conscience. You're in the nonprofit world, you'll McComb anybody asshole. Jerk people support you. I mean, the church. You do that for years, right? We're called like tidings or whatever. If you pay one hundred bucks, then you get to be an awful. It's wrestle. It's wrestle. Okay, that's perfect. All right boomer. Thank you so much. Pleasure guys, three, she ate it and I guess and seriously though, like figure out something with your name because everyone thinks you're Chris Berman and it was really disappointing seeing everyone's face feeling us, hey, we're interviewing boomer. They're like what you got, Chris? Oh shit. Oh shit. We'll see for the Bengal and I've never interviewed with a guy that had a man bun and today had no, ma'am. Yeah, he took his hair down, put it. He took. Let me shit down. Do that for everyone, right? Yeah. So you know. So from this now you're gonna go do a radio interview in Kansas City. Cool. I'm actually going to go get high. I'm going to go sit in a steam room and sweat, so I got to work and I'm gonna I'm gonna get high place a man. So how about that boomer? Sounds good. Good luck boys. We have to talk about this because this was part of the Monday night football, the falcons giant's game. There was some funny sabermetrics that went down in the fourth quarter, the giants, four. Eighteen. They scored a touchdown. They went for two and guys like us. We're like gut check. This is really stupid. The giants are dumb. Turns out the nerds had the correct theory here that you go for two when you're down eight with a like in the fourth quarter because essentially you have to score another touchdown, no matter what. So if you missed the first two, you can get the second to and you just have to go fifty percent on two point conversions. And if you hit the first two, you can win the game with an extra point. That was a lot of numbers. All all this zero. All this could be solved. There's a lot of twos and fifty percents all this could be solved with just posting that flow chart because the flow chart is what Solis. I'm dumb. I can't don't correct me about like probabilities. Show me a flow chart and then I'll follow my path. It's like a chooser adventure and like, oh, I won this time. Oh, I won this time. Oil losses. Oh, I wonder if I get excited more than I get upset, then it's a good idea. I also think this is a very relatable moment for everyone out there who has a very stupid brain like myself when you learn something that is. Is smart and that has math behind it. You can't wait for the moment that you can then say it out loud when when the moment arises again and school, all of the other dumb people who just were dumb person sank in ago, but they haven't caught up yet. So I am so excited for team to be down in that exact spot and be like, well, they should go for two. Yeah, because I know the math behind. Okay, I'm I'm excited that, but I'm more excited to correct somebody else had my exact take. Right. So, yeah, next time it happens. I'm not gonna say until like you're somebody else say right then gonna. Well, actually shit going dump. People hunting and I just was one of those guys. So I know what I know where I know where to find what I'm smarter than I was in the past. So I can look down on people like I used to write, and then the analytics nerds come up with something new that will have to figure out and we'll go round and round. We go. I'm always like one step behind the smart people and one step ahead of the really dumb people. That's a great place to be their safety in the heard that your. Yes. The one thing that they. Did fail to account for is that those numbers that we're all in love with. Now, those are based off of like a league wide average for a long period time. So when you have ally manning, well, no. Sorry, not element. When you have that offense of line makes ally manning bad, then it's actually the chances are lower because he often sucks. Let me ask you a question then. Do they not go fifty percent for two point conversion. I'm sold. You go, listen. If the stat, if your math kind of fails, you just go back to results oriented. Yes. Industry like, well, it happened this time. Yeah, Aniko it has to happen all the time. Anecdotal evidence in my opinion is more persuasive than numbers. Yes. The past fully predicts future all the tongue. Doug Peterson, did it? It worked. Yes, it is. So now it works Peterson won a Super Bowl. Oh, yeah. Good point. Yeah. All right. PR wanna one. This is for your guy. Greenie greenie had one of the worst handshakes of all time. It was not. He went for fist-bump. Stephen Smith went for handshake, which by the way then and then. And then Stephen, a Smith basically held Greenies little tiny palm or fist in his in his palm and made them look like a little school boy, and it was like he was walking across the street and it was, yeah, he probably got talking to from from the old lady when he got home. After that one practice made me look like a fool, Michael practices. It was listen. You're very cynical. I think it was a beautiful ebony and ivory moment between the two of them. No, you guys trying to understand each other's cultures? No, reaching for the fist-bump Stephen a. reaching for the like the swabbing of the hand eye. My theory is that greenie is germaphobe. Yeah, that's exactly it. Say if you're talking cultures, you're talking about the germaphobe culture, verse the regular people, right? It was because it's greenie being like, I don't wanna touch anyone's hand and it backfire. It was. Yeah, it was Howie Mandel moment. Yeah, and so green or another alternate theory about what it could have been greenie, just had a worthy originally his hand, and he was just trying to pass it. Oh. The fist-bump. You can't look cool doing fist-bump unless you exploded after one hundred percent. That's all you got twenty even say the hell. We don't. The. You could probably all right. I have a new segment that I wanted to byu it's called is LeBron James hiding from us. So on Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers the Owen three Los Angeles Lakers might I add lost in overtime to the San Antonio Spurs LeBron James missed the buzzer beater. He also missed two free throws. Okay. Well, they were also without resign Rhonda. Okay. And Brandon Ingram who's their second best player, but yes. Okay. Listen, I'm asking you a question is LeBron James hiding from us because here's what happened at like twelve thirty. I went to sleep. I missed all the fourth quarter, missed the free throws all that stuff. I woke up to the LeBron stans were already in full force spinning in how they spun it. And I actually think that LeBron James has moved out west because he knows he knows m. j. people were getting a little older gotta get sleep. The LeBron stands, they're all like fourteen years old. They stay up all night. They defend their hero online in LeBron knows. He will not get criticized like I should have been there hating LeBron when he missed those free throws except father time is taking its whole told on me and I need to go to sleep. Yeah. So it's bowl, shit. He's hiding from us. PF t it is doing that or he's trying to expand his brand over in China. I is over there. He so I don't know why he would be hiding. You pick catches fill over, just went down. I don't know why he would try to hide from us, but then go directly into skip Bayless backyard. Unless he saying that skip Bayless has lost a step and he's more of us than he is a skip, which actually now that I'm talking out loud. Yes, I think it might be true because skip has lost step, especially when it comes to his missing crossbar posts. Right? And he's also focused on Aaron Rodgers, but hang, you agree with this theory, he's hiding from us. He knows that if he's out west, he will not LeBron James, his errors will not be on full display night in night out. And I think it's bullshit because guess what? All the LeBron haters out there. We need to sleep and we're not there on the front lines. I woke up this morning and there was so much m j slander that even know where it came from and was like, oh, it's because LeBron missed two free throws and the game winner. It's a good point. Michael Jordan would never do anything to take himself out of the public eye for a year or two, although. From anybody that's not a true champion when not come back to save the, then Michael say this about him. He moved east so he wanted more about? Yeah, I'm also a huge fan of the theory. I think I saw her Silla say this that stars don't wanna play with lebrons. Yes. All the young players, maybe style, maybe stop listening to a competitor podcast. Some TV. Yeah, it was on TV. He actually texted me, everyone's, yeah, editor. Yeah, stop listening to other people's opinions. Okay. All right. Well, unless it's on actually on get up. Yeah, it was actually said it was great. Yeah. All right. Next up, we have true crime, swag, Kelly, so swag, Kelly, Chad, Kelly, no swag up quarterback of the Denver Broncos was arrested early Monday more early Tuesday morning, late Monday night in Inglewood, Colorado. He was dresses cowboy. He went into the wrong house. He. Got beat up with a vacuum cleaner. Well, yeah. Well, a part of vacuum heart evacuate cleaner than the cops were called and he was arrested. Chad, Kelly. I mean, where's the swag meter after this? Who's the victim? Who's the victim in this situation move it is swag move to get beat up with the vacuum cleaner and a cowboy costume on a Monday night. Now, you know, he woke up the next morning was like, yo douse, bro, legendary the suit where I parked my car had a great story that I got out of it. And also I listen, I did a breakdown of where he got arrested and where the house was because prior to him going over to this house, he was attending a Broncos party is a Halloween party actually read on on TMZ. It was a cocaine themed party, which I mean we used to have cocaine theme parties back into what do you mean party it was it was a party, but put a party party with the Bronco wasn't really cocaine. They said that on teams e. but in reality was just manual. Sanders and von Miller showed up one dressed as. I Turner, and the other dresses Tyrone Bigham from Chapelle show. Gosh, they called it. Oh, is one of the headline. Headlines so so he was at von Miller party. And then I did the, I did a little Dolittle sleuth work here. I saw where the house was. It was kind of like that Drake song that we're going back at where snuck out of the house made a right and then fuck Kim Kardashian? Yup. So I looked at this and I saw that von Miller actually was a bad influence had a party to close to someone's house who kept an unlocked door and then swag like walked around the corner, and it said reports where the he walked in, sat down on the couch and started mumbling incoherently. Yup. And then they Galician, they call the dad, and the dad came in and beat him with an aluminum tube, vacuum cleaner. Clear which by the way, now that I'm seeing out loud in aluminum tube, what was this guy doing in there? You can build nuclear weapons with Lumina tubes. We've invaded a country for far less far less than a guy in his house swinging and aluminum tube around willy nilly. Yes, that's true. Swag, Kelly. I don't know where he goes from here, but the sweat. I'm just shocked when the car. The guy is when he was a starting quarterback at ole, miss tried to beat up a high school kid somehow got arrested that I think he's on the Broncos. If you, if you think that is the craziest, swag, Kelly store. What about the time that he liked threatened entire school with an AK47. also or what about the time? This football said he was the best quarterback in that draft class. Did you see his his mugshot? Oh yeah. Those the one I, yeah, that was drunk. As I have ever seen. It looked his eyes were so off level. It looked like somebody tried to take panoramic picture on an iphone of his face broke his, right? Yeah, he his his one. I was so far lower than the other one. That's the drug I blame swag. You know what I blame swag for showing up and getting drunk at a party when everybody else was doing much more dangerous drugs and true that his only crime is bringing a flask to Nate ballpark yet actually. Sounds like he didn't do any cocaine sitting on a couch mumbling he would have been muddling. Yeah, he would have been very coherently on the couch. He would have been. You've been telling everyone about all kinds of, you know, cover twos and how he can beat every every defense in the NFL. Yeah, he'd be talking about all the different modifications. He put on the racing seats in his Honda. Civic SA. Yeah, with the spoiler. No, no big deal. Some flames on the side. It's so covered. I put a new air intake on us when he hit the gas goes for a second. Awesome zoo NAS yet because it's legal in the state, but a guy that lives up in Nevada, and he's going to ship it to cross lines because he's got the system the back of his truck, which is awesome. It's like a fold out. So it's like you have trunk in your truck. I know it's kind of funny, but it's cool lime. Green. Yeah, sure. Lime green, the swag, the neon light underneath on the undercarriage. Yes. Oh, yeah, he's got that for sure. He's got the spoiler the mufflers so fucking I wouldn't be shocked if swag actually has like three balloons on strings at all times that he puts through the sun roof that he drives around. And so he feels like he's playing Mario. All right. Let's finish up. We got guys on chicks Hank do it. Sup him tea. Why do guys get so tired after they Jisr. Fake it yet. That's just leave me alone because I don't have any Jizan may. So I don't feel like a man anymore. Well, the thing is like Derek Carr. The entire. Yeah. We've, why do we cry? Why do we cry Guzm? Well, the entire reason that we get tired because the only reason that guys need to ever do anything like eat or talk to anybody is so that they can have sex at some point. Also, you're you, you literally, you're juicing out your testosterone, which is basically you're using out steroids. And so when you get your storage back, that's when you get your energy back. Yeah, works. No, I I was going to say something, but I held my talk say so credit to me. All right. Say no, I'm not going to say, all right. It was funny. Just pretend it was good. Okay. Hey, boys wise, my labia tan, but the rest of my body pale high to not not Levi's. That's I think, what's the labia it's the, it's the Jonah little lip lift just say the lips to say the pussy lips just say the pussy lips. Then there's the like to us like we're regular humid. There's the lips the rest of my body, and then there's the minora it's like the Ursa minor major. Minore is the Jewish, the candle thing. And then you get eight. Crazy nights. Yeah, was pretty hot. I don't know the answer to this question because I didn't know what labia was up until right now. Yeah, I think it's if it was the same color as the rest, your body than us guys are so stupid. We wouldn't know where to find it. So it's like it's like a target. Yeah, it's a big red psych. Hey, hit it here. Yes, someone holds up in the l. field. Yeah, hit it here in and get really sleepy afterwards. I suppose my boyfriend is about to move four hours away from me. What's the move? It sounds like he's going for hours away from you. Yeah, move is. That's not a good sign. If he were to write in and ask this question, would he refer to you as girlfriend? Yeah. And also if you wrote in which what's the move? Watch. More. Football? Yeah. Sounds like he's probably just going to state with like a better situation all around or including maybe no state income tax. It's not you. I'd say, move to his apartment show up and be like, hey, I'm moving in with you and then see what happens then. Yeah, like no, he's just start saying we're moving around a lot and kind of feel that doc by Doug, you can't. You can't move when you have a dog. Take a pregnancy. Yeah, actually, that's probably the best move the dog alone on can't say every time get a dog and then say that your dogs pregnant, they go pup and you need them to puppies. Puppies stuff. Fellas my boyfriend. Let's get really drunk before we fool around because he claims getting drunk before sex gives him superman tick. She claims is a sweet spot between whiskey. Dick in normal. Dick in reality is dick as week every time Jewish, how do I play town? That's man. Dick is more like week as bullshit dick and I never leave satisfied. I don't have the heart versus I don't have the heart to bursts half flaccid bubble. Thanks guys. Yeah. This guy probably just sucks in bed. So he had a girl at some point Thome that is dick game was better when it was like, no, he's sold himself. Well, I think a girl probably told him that just so that he, she liked having sex when when he was drunk because it would just he couldn't come and it'd be over really fast. I don't know. I think he started. Have you have to overdo it on the other side and give him something counteract the beer? Like I dunno, give them cocaine, ooh, swag, Kelly, give them meth here. That's what you do. Mixing meth houses. Say, just tell them that dick game is weak when he has superman dick because you might not remember, you can always be like, oh, we were just really drunk. I don't remember what what I talk. Yeah, right. And then and then if he maybe he'll take it internalize it and be like, okay, maybe we're going to retire superman dick or he'll get really offended and be like kill. You said that. Like what I say, I don't remember what I said. We both were superman who's better than superman, though. What superhero would you say, Batman, let's do it that dogs just kidding. Sandwich his, I was just gonna say, you could be like, oh, you got wolverine dick when you're sober though. Is it regenerates faster, different? Don't don't do marvel in DC, crossover cinematic comments. The most ambitious telling the most ambitious, crossover move of all time would be if he uses dick and also went down on your all right. Rodgers v. Rams, Blame Bortles?, Red Sox lineup, Meyer's last season?
Yoursel happy Friday. I'm Jason Whitlock. That's why sell is widely dead. Do coming up. We'll tell you if Aaron Rodgers is being disrespected this week, and if this will be urban Meyer's last year at our day who said we'll start today. What a we law like we do every day. What you got the David? Oh, we have found the answer to the Brady. Manning robbery is to Shawn Watson versus Patrick Mahomes. That's the quarterback rivalry that will power the NFL the way Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Wants did Noah fister Carson Wentz? Jared Goff Baker Mayfield Sam darnold or even Cam Newton. Russell wilson. But halfway through the two thousand eighteen regular season. It's clear. There's something truly special about Watson Mahomes their next level. You know, if you watch this show, and no my Kansas City routes. I'm firmly team Mahomes but last night in a Texan's victory over the Miami Dolphins dishonor. Watson look like the second. Coming of Steve Young young is arguably the most talented NFL quarterback ever he could run and pass in one thousand nine hundred four he was the first NFL quarterback to start sixteen games and finished with a completion percentage. Above seventy young was explosive with his legs and deadly officiant with his arm. He was the next generation. Roger stall bet Watson is the next ration- of Steve Young young can see it before last night's contest. Young predicted predicted watch. It would be an NFL all time. Great against the dolphins Watson made young clairvoyant Watson completed sixteen of twenty passes for two hundred thirty nine yards and five touchdowns. He had more TD's than incompletions. You know who else has done that this season the magic man, Patrick Mahomes. Let me repeat im team Mahomes. He's thrown twenty two TV's and just five interceptions. Watson this fifteen. Seventeen in that category. Fifteen and seven in that category Mahomes, passer rating is sixteen points higher than Watson's, but I have to admit I'm a little worried that Watson is going to be the Tom Brady of this rivalry Watson might be the guy known for his toughness leadership and team success. While Mahomes is known for his arm talent Godley stats and pedigree. We know this for sure like Brady early in his career Watson has far more help on the opposite side of the football Mahomes doesn't have a JJ watt whose reemerged once again is the arguably the best defensive player in the league watch. It also has Davey and cloudy. Another pass rushing force. The Texans defense can stop people Kansas City's defense can't. So there's a good chance. We'll be sitting here at the end of the year. And my man Mahomes will have the stats that surpassed Watson's, but watch it might have the more dangerous team in January. All right joining the nest now, a hall of fame. Eric Dickerson, knee, NFL networks. Bucky Brooks Marcellus. Let's start with you might crowning these guys tour. Oh, not at all. I think you picked the right guys as well. But respect to the late. Great Danny green you want to crown. Where they are who we thought they were it's not too early to crown guys. I came here after week one. When seeing with my own eyes LA chargers versus Kansas City Chiefs. Now, I remember sitting right here flanked by two NFL analyst who kept telling me chill on this Patrick Mahomes talk. Glad that now people are in the congregation screaming, the same course. And the same sentiments that I've been which is he's not just Knicks. He's next level. Like he is going to be that guy. I have the same energy and passion and love for him as I did a young Peyton Manning who I saw rookie year nineteen ninety eight three and thirteen but wait Phillips r d cornered to say chill out. This boy is come. And he's next next year. We play them to thirteen at three Patrick Mahomes. Peyton manning. I see it the shower wash it for me. Fortunately, reluctantly I'm being persuaded that he's in that conversation. But I'm not the biggest fan of Sean washing one. I don't like my mobile quarterback coming into the NFL with a knee brace then tear into the the knee up again. Then can't even fly has to go out on bus to go to games. What's the greatest ability in sports availability? Usually the longer you play this game. You don't get healthier doing it usually typically, so I'm just concerned what his availability because already he's off schedule in terms of health. You know, one thing about the show wasn't having known him since he was high school. He was part of the elite eleven camps that our work. The guy has always said two things that you look for quarterbacks high football IQ, and he has the effect. Every level is always wanna stay championship in high school when a him sham it Clemson. And we're seeing in Houston. He's already winning. You can talk about the supporting cast their defense. But festively he's playing with a porous office of line. He has won the Jimmy play making Deandra Hawkins. And he doesn't have a running game. What he is doing is amazing because he doesn't even have a coach that can put them in the right situation. When I look at pet Mahomes penalty. Penn Mahomes says everything in space. He has a talented supporting cast he has playmakers all over he has a quarterback whisper in Andy Reid and Airbnb doing a good job crapton it offense. Pat, Mahomes is better position. But you're right. I do believe to Shawn Watson have some Tom Brady like stuff that he's gonna show to National Football League. Man, everything I was gonna say I got to say. You know, what I do like Shawn Watson? I like him as pocket presence. I like him better right now Mahomes that they he stays in the pile better. I do I mean, that's my opinion now. No. I like I like I like his pocket presence. But you know, you just said it best, you know, with the co quarterback coach like Andy Reid, and he's got all the weapons. I mean, he really does. I mean, he has the arm. We're not when I look at his arm strength one thing. He might me of John Elway he goes to his right? And he throws back across his body on a bullet. I mean, it's like, wow, you impressed by his arm strength. So I mean, we're not crown and these guys who earlier, you know, what has never my next thing. I think yes. Yes. And no, which you want that excitement for the national football. You really do you want? The next guy's because you know, pay man isn't pay manning has gone Tom Brady is on his way out. So for sure you want the next guys to come in line. And if you look at these guys right now the way they're playing you'd have to say these are the next two quarterbacks. This come to be great because it's all about. Scoring. It's about excitement and both these guys like citing. I it's it's we gotta remember Marcellus knocking him a bit for being injury prone. I'm praising him for the toughness that it takes to play this level. He played at last night banged up. Yeah. But you're making a deal with the devil. And I'm a victim of that. In many players are victims of that is interesting parallel exists between him and his teammates. You talk about on defense. JJ watt. Look at this broke down core of the Houston, Texas, JJ watt, still balling but injury prone of late certainly he's going to be the player of the year defensively, and it comes at a cost Davie and cloudy had his injury concerns certainly in his near of near past. And then you talk about the shower Watson. I remember we were talking about JJ watt potentially being the greatest defensive lineman ever. And I got a text from one of the greatest defense alignment ever boost men in the middle of the segment. Bruce said a young man 'cause pops that's my football father. Hey, young man, hollered me and ten years when he's able to do that same situated same excellence a decade letter, and let's be respectful, and let's be real. It's been up and down. So you got to resign. Silence. This aim that topic? When I got the man's about to be afford time NFL defensive player of the year. L E never did that I am not knocking him. But I'm saying, well, we're talking about is crowning them too early. Why because we want to see the duration. It's okay to be the flash. And it's okay to be an amazing, but consistent excellence is when you get to be like Eric Dickerson. You gotta keep going keep doing it. You can't just have that flash. Like, I even showed a flat as year Eric Dickerson. I think. No, no, no just Ingo second year. Didn't you went for like two thousand dollars? Yes, he do. And so everybody will holy cow. Eric dickers- is the real thing. This is these guys are in the second year. And I'm looking at the dude last night out there banged up long's. Chaz crack Rams have all that he and had to histories need brakes in a second five twenty down passes four incompletions. I'm looking at him and thinking a lot of the same things as when I look at Pat, Mahomes, although ethic Mahomes is better. I think I think is different. I think with these guys like mean, you gotta go with your chest. Yes. We know we've all been canceled. We've all been on the field. We've all seen great players, and you can tell the dish win a great player. And it got it. As just good AD was a great player. I was just trying to get around. But when I look at pet Mahomes and look into Shawn Watson I can feel their greatness. I can feel the jumps off the screen when you look at them. There's something about both of these guys that they're going to be around for a long time. They're different than some of the other guy. Look, andy. Andy Reid had a chance to get the Shawn Watson my home. Yeah. He I think when he. People thought, oh, he's gonna take this. Shawn Watson, he took my home. So that shows right there that he believes he believes probably both these quarterback. I took t took the one he thinks fits best. When my office the guy that could work with all the weapons that they have over in Kansas City, and they have a plethora of weapons all evaluators look at Texas Tech when they had a Patrick Mahomes on the roster backing up a Baker Mayfield coast was like okay Baker. You wanna leave? We'll be we'll be Mahomes takes it. Here's my are. You tell me, but you breakdown film more to anyone doesn't it seem like the Sawassan kissed off script too early in a progression. I see too many times it looks like the play call is a run around on three break, and he's just running around. Well, thank you. I think you have to when you play behind. The sex twenty five times he'd been hit like sixty six or sixty seven times data Mickey anybody gunshot. I think the one thing about the show Watson because we kind of lump him in as a mobile quarterback. He's really not that guy. He has a scape ability. But he's a pocket passer decade move. He's a little different than a guy like Lamar Jackson was he's different in the Colin Kaepernick. Those guys like to use the Olympics to show, we'll do it. But his game is really Dylan from the pocket. I think the one thing between the two Pat, Mahomes is more talented. But I believe the winning thing to Shawn Watson knows how to win. There's something be said for that. He's making the argument that I'm a bit concerned about I happen to believe Tom Brady's had a far better career than paid manny's. No knock on Peyton Manning. And so, and I think all ready know European myself these two who's going to have the most success Mahomes are Watson, you would lean Mahomes. I guess because of the injury the injury certainly is a concern. We're splitting hairs here. And I hate when you're getting these conversation because it sounds like you love one and hate the other. No, I love both is just the fact that I have to give the tie to a Patrick Mahomes who hasn't had any injury concerns. I have to give a tie to the guy who has flashed a greatness and the brilliance that no other quarterback right now under center is showing this guy you talking about throwing the ball across his body. That's like that's not even unorthodox for him. That's standard procedure for Patrick Mahomes, throwing darts down the field. Making all the throws. Look how glowing Bill Belichick was Patrick Mahomes. You know, Bill Belichick is always going to say, the nice standard things. He went to the degree to make sure he gave respect Patrick Mahomes that is next level who has more success over the course of their career. I'll say this much Bill O'Brien or Andy Reid. Which was coast. I'll go Andy Reid. I'll have to go. Well, Tom Brady, Bill O'Brien and ask success. So one guy has to really good defensive players Manica make stuff I think I watched that last night and thought man come January Houston may be a real problem. You're thinking about running game. They have what you look for. Their defense is beginning to come together. You talked about JJ watt. Finding the sea legs. David clowney benefactor on the edge. Honey, badger helping them in the back defensively they have a better defense against city. And when you think about how you have to win the game in January, the Houston, Texas may be better equipped to win in January just because their defensive gives them. That's my concern. All right. I'm fat homes. Davin Watson's going to have a lot of success. Support for speak for yourself comes from our friends at rocket mortgage by Quicken Loans, America's premier home purchase lender. Eric Dickerson Buckey Brookshire bet moved to Charlotte for the ravens will visit Cam Newton and the Panthers Sunday cameras fresh off an incredible fourth quarter comebacks against the eagles that aren't him NFC offensive player of the week. And even though the ravens have the top ranked defense in the NFL. I think Cam Newton stays hot here and shines in Baltimore. Listen Cam was awful for three quarters last week. And then in the fourth quarter. He went back to being that guy that I saw all season under north Turner cams playing for Cam and the way Cam plays at a really high level. I think he keeps it going against the ravens. Yeah. Agree with you. When he rose he rose and you talk about him have an office coordinator Turner who I played for as well. And you talk about north Turner giving him the best position and opportunities to succeed. Cam Newton is starting to remind guys would Eric wedge. Oh, call them a big fast muscular dinosaur and Cam. I've heard that before. You know, why because I'm extinct they don't anymore and his real man, you're gonna feel what that dude, you don't know. What to do? He presents the most unique challenge at the quarterback position. So yeah, I think he continues to roll. I'm really amazed at with north Turner has done because I wanted north Turner is always pocket passer. So you didn't know what he would do an ethic playmaker. Like Cam Newton. But he hasn't changed him. He's tried to make them be more efficient. They've throw more short passes. But that inundate that's not cams game camps game is to run into throw it downfield. And so the Carolina Panthers continued to del up. The big plays to continue to take down the field. He has become more efficient in the short area. But at the end of the day, he's still running when you look at the numbers. He's averaging almost nine rush attempts to game that's more than any of the quarterback. So north Turner has found a way to help can be great by allowing him to be who he was in college and not asking them to change too much news last Cam Newton is blitz him. You know, he's not good under blitzes, and you right? Nor turns lit Cambian Cam. And the best way for him to become as run the football. Sometimes you have to. You can't restrict him. I also think they need to get more screens after McCaffrey anymore. Outsider. That's important because you know, you talking about a quarterback that one minute he can be really hot. And the next me. Like who is he throw into? So you know, like I say Cam who Cam is. But I like I like him for that offense. Not and I and I really like the opposite coordinator with north turn overall. I just love the way cameras planning, and I actually somewhat feel sorry for Baltimore this week because I think Baltimore went into this offseason went into the draft drafting Lamar Jackson, and what they're gonna look out there and see is evidence while Amar Jackson will never be Cam Newton we'll stat because Lamar is not a dinosaur again. And he's not a dinosaur. He move total. You can stop cheating. Oh, coach says you can break speed kills. And when he turns on the film and somebody's blurry. We got a problem. What did they say about Diaz Sanders to punt return? Something of Laura hurt in the locker room. And it was like one time. Everybody's get yelled at how come you there? Stop Dionne on that. He said coach we're running as ours. We can he's just an a car. He's driving. I'll see labar Tech's and sometimes just in little flashes, man. That's a lot to deal with you could bottle it up, and when they go out there and look at Cam at two hundred sixty pounds and all the things he can do. And they look over at that little skinny dude that they. And his man and cams arm and his ability to throw it down feel with accuracy and velocity not all the time after see but with with some accuracy and a lot of Lassie out. I don't think you get that from the Marge accident. So I think Cam is going to be a reminder dinosaur, and we didn't draft a dinosaur. They didn't need the Marge Jackson in indifferent build. He certainly not a Cam Newton. But we haven't found another guy liked it. The comparison to Cam new early was maybe looks like a young men Rosberg he's passed and in terms of his f-, lettuces them and the way that he plays. The game unique talent unique play make Lamar Jackson Arkansas still like him. I think he fits in that offense at Baltimore. He's not going to be Cam Newton. Cam Newton six foot five to sixty five. He's never going to be that guy. So you have to have what what they have is what they have. And and I really believe, you know, talking to to that was my hall of fame. Ozzie Ozzie Newsome Ozzie Newsome loves him. I asked him about it. And I drafted him. He should not necessarily not necessarily your. I y oh that's why you ain't never been maybe. Your. I remember marriage. Let's move to another big story right here in Los Angeles. Where the Packers will be the biggest underdogs of Aaron Rodgers era when they take on the ram Sunday while the Rams have been near perfect this year. The Packers have been very uneven with rod is playing through an ankle injury. I don't think Green Bay has much of a chance Sunday. I don't have a problem with a nine and a half point line. I I don't see this as disrespectful at all. That nearly double digit line. I think the Packers are going to have real trouble staying within seventeen twenty points of the Los Angeles. Rams. Yeah. Not disrespectful at all. Think about it. You gotta compromise air Rogers, some people Jay Glazer saying shouldn't even be out there in the first place, and then you're gonna walk into the Coliseum and you're gonna face that defense, especially that defense align right in the way that they get after the quarterback. We just saw Aaron Donald go. For four sacks career-high. He's filling themselves then you're in a situation where office is gonna put up thirty points. Minimum like this to be fun. And we used to walk in. We used to play the coach. Wchs and impede many. And we see you know, before the game starts fifteen minutes on the clock zero zero they lie pay Noriega, fourteen Wayne. They go score some points and the Rams will score points. What does that going to do? Aaron Rodgers make them have to throw the football earlier and more often that is a recipe for disaster against that defense. Align is going to be a problem to two things that elite teams have in this game right now you have to be able to run the football. When you want to run you have to be to play defense degree pack is can do neither one right now. They're just one man show their Aaron Rogers and Rogers says to do everything and facing a ramp team to defensively can get after you up from without having a pressure. It's going to be tough for them to generate enough points and defensively. I just don't know how you slow down tug early in the weapons that they have on the outside. I believe the line said appropriately, I believe this is a double digit win for the Rams. As the ram Bassett here. First of all the Packers are bad football team. They really are. They are one dimensional without Aaron Rodgers this three and thirteen football team. We know that I'm the Packer fans may not like it. But it's true. We have Todd Gurley possibly MVP. We have dared pasta MVP we have Amazon defense. We have so many different ways to beat. You. Look to me the points. Reading big enough, you'll get three points for being at home. So really like a six point underdog. But to me, the Rams have just so many weapons to beat you with their going to score and to pack that defense, they cannot stop our offense sometimes coaches do this as never talked about. It's never discussed. But again, you come into an environment. Not the environment. You go on a road trip and your face in Juergen. I'd like the Rams I think this is a very dangerous situation for Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers my concern going into this game part of it in the back of my mind is not really about winning. It's about surviving. I don't want Aaron Donald are in Dhamma. Consume to do something Aaron Rodgers that I have to deal with the rest of the year. That's another reason. Because again if Mike McCarthy, smart and air, Raja's smart. It's like we don't try to win. But if we give any sign that this is not a hand with don't be handed. No not giving. A lot of three step drops a lot of getting that ball out quick. And let's let's punt the ball and get the hell up out of LA got to write off a finger roll to how does the Bob south. Wanna tell you? I am trying to survive this Mohan, man. You can't go off a hobbled Aaron Rodgers and see Aaron Donald and the streets ice cube told him house. Bob yourselves. Bob yourselves. Do not throw the football against these guys when you're compromised, the thing is I don't know if they can approach it any other way, the last five games they've thrown forty plus times five straight games. The only thing they know in Green Bay right now is to pass it. And I think he recipe but disaster they can't get it out quick. But then what if they go up and decide to more those young receiver because he's playing with a lot of babies that he has devante Adams and Runako maybe back, but those babies those rookies that they're playing on the outside. They may not respond to get in Paul's put on and they're playing against way Phillips who loves to go, man. Hey Leif away solve this in both linebackers don't outside three up the middle. Good luck to you. We mugging on the outside. So now, you're off script and you're off pace. You gotta hold the ball. Here comes Aaron Donald assume, they're probably DiPoto running back. I mean, if you had to run the football, I just feel bad. We're not going to get the quarterback her. We're going to get you beat us. I to another big story this one in London or the Jaguars. And the eagles Sunday square off look at it turned things around after both teams started after three after both teams lost three straight. Blake Bortles has taken the brunt of the criticism for the team struggles. And he admits he's like the scapegoat for the team. But Jacksonville has also been without lynyrd for net. Most of the year and the defense hasn't been close to what it was last season got list. I think. He got paid Blake Bortles, and he got played somewhat fifty four million three years, and you know about this. I have a new suit on got nine TV's. And I believe eight intercepts I get the criticism of Blake Bortles. But at the end of the day, this is a team the supposed to win with defense is supposed to be Jalen Ramsey. And that crew this leader the leader of this team. And they're not delivering on their end. I get the criticism of Blake Bortles. But to put it all on Blake Bortles seems unfair to me. It does seem fair even though I know where to defense has come from they feel defeated and I've been there before when you don't have faith in your offense. You don't have faith in your quarterback. You're like man we go out there and play as well as we can keep them to seven points. Guess what? I'm not even sure Blake Bortles to score seven points with the turnovers and the lack of production of consistency to move the change so d- facility, they feel defeated. But I respect with Blake Bortles saying it's more than just me out there. Look at this defense. They've given up thirty points four times. Already seven games. Whereas last year, they only gave up thirty points twice and sixteen games. So if I'm Blake Bortles, I hear those shot from Jalen Ramsey and everyone who's on his side. But I'm looking back at you. Why are you lend de'andre Hopkins toast, you if you worried about my production won't you do your job? And then we'll be fine. I can do my job. If you don't give them the ball. To defend the shore. Feel the biggest issue. Blair borders has eleven giveaways to turn over batters. The biggest deciding factor football sixty four percent of teams win if they just have a plus one. So the Jaguars are giving it away. And when I look at their defense defensively they ranked second in yards allowed. There's pretty good. They rank top ten in most major defensive categories. The issue has been their defense hasn't been getting turnovers that they've been getting last year. So when you're not turning the ball over in a defeatist to office is giving a ball away to your opponent. It's a recipe for disaster. I am encouraged by what the Jacksonville Jaguars did last week getting Carlos hod to go with Linda for net. The Doug Monroe said last year the perfect gay for him would be zero pass. He seemed Blake Bortles pass. And he's decided I'm a double down. We're not going to throw the ball at all we go running and punt. And that's gonna be better for the Jacksonville Jaguars data. Give them back on track. Bucky looking at my notes over here. To say. I go I got calls. They got all of the tunnel. Is when I think of great defenses, you think of the Baltimore Ravens Chicago Bears. You know, Blake is should be a game manager. Don't lose the game for us. We got this even the nine hundred eighty five when the greatest defense in history the defense the next year was even better, but they didn't win the Super Bowl. I'm telling you turn the football over that kills you. I don't care if you turn on your territory their territory, it takes the momentum away from the football team. You know that man man, we go and we're Blake bulls. Turn and football. Oh, hey, he is what he is. Okay. Let me push back because he is the game manager. Right. But then we get into the AFC championship game game manager you go out in the first half. We like we need to take the head coach off this do. And if they would've they would've won that game in Foxboro last year. So how do you manage a game manages the conference was a fifth? We'd all be drew. It ain't no guarantee. It'll guarantees that it it took the handcuffs the heck he might have been. The wrong and that was last year. This is this year. Now, we're Blake Bortles a little bit. Y'all blaming me. I feel like Nino Brown if I'm like. Giger? Is the defense mic? Jalen Ramsey admit this book, you don't fail. What is that? Like. Look, they talked a lot. This reminds me in one thousand nine hundred ninety six I was with the Green Bay Packers. We go into the championship game loss to Dallas Cowboys year before Fritz Shurmur the defense, Gordon said there's no automated next step. So just because you went to the championship game. We don't start the season two championship game. Again, you got to return to write to get there. I think the Jacksonville Jaguars realizing just what what you did last year has nothing to do this you. They get a re earn the right to be the team that everyone is talking. Thank you, buddy. With locking Wiley here. We're joined now by FOX MLB analysts. Knicks wish you got a permit to carry those goods, right? See do work. I actually say since that Manny Machado is stealing signs. That sounds like he's playing baseball. Right. I'm gonna I think that's the thing. I think this is I think this is new to a lot of people that don't really know the inner workings of the game. I think at the end of the day if you don't want somebody stealing your science, don't let anybody on second base. I think we heard just invert Lander came out. And there have been a lot of talk about this for Furlan. They're saying maybe there's a way that we can use technology to the catcher and the pitcher can kind of communicate back and forth. I think it's part of the game. Yes. It's been around for years. This is what guys do this is our in hours and hours of tape. Finding out what guys use what size is outs plus one right? Is it strikes? Plus one guys are starting to use taps now. They're starting to make this stuff so complicated. Bro. Mile house state education, but I have done it. Ain't gonna do it. Awesome. Let's talk about it. Now like is like you said his age. Oh, we used to try to Manning's. This is new and also think this has too many material, and I feel like Manny Machado is kinda villain of baseball right now. And I feel like this story wouldn't really come out. If this was a Mookie Betts or somebody like that. So I think with where we are right now. Manny boy, he's catching some heat, man. So he'd better start swinging that stick bro getting him out of this. All right. Still in signals or not hawking the dodgers recover from the O to hope this. I mean, you know, how it goes, man. It sounds cliche. It sounds super cheesy. But literally gotta take it one game at a time. And I guess I can kind of relate it to a non baseball players as cleaning the house, right? If you look at cleaning your house, you're like man, I got this whole thing to do. But. But. Wit. I'm telling you grow. If you go from brew to room to room, right? Just one by one by one you eventually get the job done. I think that's exactly where they're at right now. They got Walker. Bueller? Coming off coming on the mouth tonight. This is a resilient squad. Man. These guys were ten games under five hundred nine games back in September. They right. They didn't even know they were going to get to the playoff. So don't tell me this team is down and out because I don't believe that aren't at all the discussion this entire series has been about the dodgers lineup and how they've handled their line of with all the right handed bat right now that we come to an NL park. The questions are about the Red Sox and going to handle their lineup. Yeah. I feel like there are a lot of question marks. And I feel like with the sprained ankle with JD Martinez. That makes it even more pressing. I feel like Jake is going to the ballpark today. They're kind of going to test it out. See exactly how he feels because whether that ankles one hundred percent whether that ankle is fifty percent, I need that man's bat in the lineup him and Mukhi bets are the guys that carry my team, they roll we roll. All so I feel like you could even move Mookie Betts to second base. He's one of the best athletes. We have in our game. I trust his ability to make the routine place. And if you makes it gold glove place. Congratulations. I wasn't expecting that. So I feel like what's going on the American League game in the National League game. Or so different. This is where I feel like the dodgers have to turn it around obviously down to. But this is a game. They know especially after that huge chess match they just had with the Milwaukee Brewers. All right. Alex cores first postseason as a manager. How impressed bro a loving event? And I know there's been name that I'm going to compare it to, but he's probably right down the road from him if Bill Bella check because everything that I heard so far about the Boston Red Sox has been about preparation. Right. This is not about championships down the road. It's about preparation and in my mind a team prepares like no other is the New England Patriots and Bill pillow. Check leaves that charge. It all comes from the from the top down. Brockhall was talking about the difference between Alex Cora and John Farrell. Talking about communication knowing where you stand right Alexkor will give you that call the night before to let you know. Hey, Marcellus, we don't need you tomorrow, baby. But the first right handed pitcher that comes off need you ready? So no sudden you're mentally prepared for that. You're not disappointed when you look at that starting lineup and your name's not on it. Because I've been that guy that's devastating especially as a competitor in the World Series. It's an ego thing. I mean, it gets to you. So I found him a little early on. I'm just saying I love the way he goes about his business. Right. If you're on the New England Patriots. You definitely know where you stand. Right. And I think the same thing goes for the Boston Red Sox as well. I think they take a little bit from each other. Maybe the Bill Belichick name is a little too much because he hasn't accomplished that much yet. But that style that sort of preparation having your stars lead your team in the right direction. JD Martinez, Mookie Betts, this organization is here to stay for a long time before Ohio State lost to Purdue. And you're gonna give her would you have compared to urban Meyer before they lost not the way my man over Monica for days. Now, they did raise. You gotta give them up in the film room, boys. Ready? We had off week this week. Get back out of next week. We got some time to think about this. Right. I mean that was devastating. But then maybe we just weren't the number two team in the nation. We thought we kinda casual today compared to are you kidding me? He. Zero to me. I gotta give you some different to look at right? Try little Clark to write little spike. Little light. Switch on your only. Great rule cognac west which greatness. About that. Joy of such a dull person, right? I gotta wear dog feller. Great job. Nick. Thank you guys. Congratulations to our good friend, Greg Jennings who was inducted into the western Michigan hall of fame last night worth mentioning Jennings. Went one and three against ball state still managed to get into the hall of fame. But a well-deserved honor for an all time. Great MAC athlete way to go, Greg. Yes, I well about with locking Wiley. We're joined now by FOX college football analysts, Robert Smith. Let's move to Roberts alma mater, the Ohio State University with suffered its first loss of the year last week to Purdue obviously the school started the year, some turmoil with urban Meyer suspended and after the loss reports surface that there was friction between Meyer athletic director, gene Smith, though Meyer denies it. Even still I think this could be urban 's final season in Columbus. I I think it's tough to survive the allegations that he was involved in a lot of conversation around that. University. And now his relationship with Jean Smith. I see urban Meyer either sitting out a year or moving directly to the NFL. It wouldn't surprise me to tell you the truth. I don't really think it's about the allegations though, I think that it would be more about urban and his mindset and for as much fun as people had making fun of urban and talking about the medication. First of all when he was talking about the medication that that he was on. We saw that in a report for his memory and people just said, oh, yeah. How convenient well. If you believe that that's not true that he was on the medication before this. And you have to believe that he started taking the medication to kind of have a setup to kind of have a fallback. So I don't buy that for one minute. You look back at what happened in two thousand nine when he left Florida, and coincidentally, I do think it's a coincidence. But maybe not completely the allegations against Zac Smith happened in two thousand nine at Florida's. Well, and clearly that weighed on urban Meyer at the time. And the allegations and the investigation and the suspension and the poor play of his team all of those things are weighing on him right now. So it wouldn't surprise me. Because this is this is a coach that stepped away for personal reasons concerned about his physical and mental health. And it certainly seems like he's just completely drained at this point. Well, let's talk about the weight of scandal. And I would think if I'm urban Meyer, certainly battle-tested callous to maybe some of these circumstances, if I don't get eaten up in the process of this scandal and all the discovery if our saviour of it, why would I quit, then you know, like either you fire me because a scandal or fuss survived it athletes. Can't compartmentalize. And I think coaches can't as well. Look at this situation. This is a seven to one team that's still controls his destiny that could still easily win the national championship this year. Nobody usually. Being. That's a different discussion. We can have that one in Michigan game is going to be telling a lot of things. But if you look at this team, they control their fate. So why would I walk away from that? Plus, the complexion of what he has in terms of players on a roster and recruits a lot of coaches like to see to see that they plan it come to fruition. So I just don't see him walking away so easily. I think the Marcellus when you get involved in this type of controversy or really any type of controversy and the media gets involved and the agenda driven media gets involved. And there so many mistruths that spill out how much time do we have? Lose so many Miss USA spill out. Yes that violate trust. And that's what I see is missing that Ohio State all those the president Jean Smith and urban Meyer all survived and kept their jobs, but their trust will never be the same. And that's not because they turned on each other is just that they actually lived it and know the truth, and they're looking at all these mistrials who told that Lau who told this left where this lot come from. And they know each one of them is responsible for some of the lies that are out there. The trust is gone. Well for me. I don't think I don't think that it's going to be any of those relationship issues with the university that would cause him to step down. I think it would be a personal issue. And this is something that none of us know, we can we can watch him on the sidelines, and we can observe the demeanor and guess about what's going on in Turnley with him. But again, this is a person that stepped away. Away from the game because of health issues, and maybe some of those resurfacing, and maybe that is more of a concern. I think it's also interesting to kind of look at what happened with Zach Smith, and the course of the years in the incidents. It's clear that he should have fired him. He should've fired him and the domestic abuse allegations. I don't think that's the primary reason, but just because of other things that had been happening. And so it appeared that urban Meyer was making decisions from coaching staff standpoint that weren't in the best interest of him winning. And I think maybe that kind of evaluating that situation and those decisions that may be what kind of going on with him right now. He's looking at his staff the decisions he's made kind of what personnel. They have. I think there are a little bit concerned about the youth and some of them, but some of the decisions that have been made from a coaching staff. Standpoint. So I don't think that he walks away though because he's scared of fixing the problem. I think that he he may look at some of the decisions he's made and he may make some different decisions from a coaching standpoint moving forward. But that if he steps away from the game, I think it would purely be concerned about his physical and mental health. I don't think so correct me if I'm wrong but urban Meyer, like anybody you go through scandal you go to criticism is still about performance production, which is a large contributor to your mental health. And how you feel how happy are you? How productive or you thirteen and one in Florida thirteen and one of Florida in Zac Smith allegations to whatever level they surface occurred. The next year he coaches again eight and five, oh, it's time to go. You know what? So you can say what you want. But when he has the winning record even drool the mental health, even through the unhappy ties, even through the allegations are reminded like I'll go back out there and our realize. Is that product is not what I desire now may go to greener pastures or take time off. So Ohio state's not in that position. They're not an eight and five bucks. This team is still going to go out there and win ballgames at seven and one right now. So I think they have to be worse as a team wants to produce game. Bad that was it was bad. And it's not it's not going to get fixed easily this. This is not a playoff team. It's not a playoff team. I think from a personnel standpoint on the offensive line. They have some major issues you could see in the loss to Purdue a week ago. Only ran for seventy six yards of defense gave up three hundred almost almost three hundred eighty yards passing to David Blau in that game round Moore who would who would be a great player on a lot of teams sliced and diced defense, but we've seen that all season long. And so I don't think this is an elite level team right now. I do not think that it is. But I think once again that if he steps away it's not going to be because he scared of it. I don't think that he's he believes that he won't be able to get talent in there. I honestly believed that it would be a decision for his concerns for his wife's concerns. His doctors concerns about his physical and mental health. Thank you, Robert job. Really? Appreciate it. With lock. And while they were joined now by NBA champion, Dante Jones, let's move to the NBA where the thunder loss to the Celtics last night falling to Owen four to start the year. Russell Westbrook was awful shooting. Just five for twenty and jacket up a bunch of bad threes in the fourth quarter afterward Russ said there's no need to panic. But I think he's to blame for the struggles to start the year. I last night was tough to watch. And I watched all of it. He I don't understand why he took a lot of the shots. He did in the fourth quarter of they had a chance to beat the Celtics last night. Russ did a little too much. Didn't let the game come to him for some self into the game. Did the kind of things that are for in Colin Kapp, Colin cowherd loves to criticize him for. You haven't parade right now. So I do the last two losses. And I know he said on the first game, I blame Russ. Oh, let's go back to last season. It's amazing. That's a headline that Russell Westbrook takes bad shots. As ceres ending game against Utah. I remember that last year forty three shots do jacked up nine thousand nine threes. He made a few of them, but still respect that. You're doubling the output of your second fill in Paul George, and that's just a lot to deal with. But he Russell Westbrook has switch. We see it in his eyes that intensity is a gift, and it's a curse. I don't think. Anybody plays the game harder than Russell Westbrook. So I loved that. But at the same time that comes at a cost, which is that's the curse when he turns it on the know how to turn it off. We're talking about an MVP all-star MVP rhenium all-star who's having a tough three games of shooting. The ball. He came back late as a season started came back without him. So Russ is going to shoot himself into this year and get his get his group going. Yes. Last night was his fault. They were up. They did a great job in the first half of the game. Last night was not hard to watch the second half was hard to watch. But he's gonna. Find his way he's gonna find his groove. They're gonna find a way to get this thing going to the most dangerous thing without a win right now. And that team is going to be in the playoff hunt. That team is going to be a playoff team and Russ is going to find his way Russ has always found his way through toughs about he's not always going to be the greatest in shot selection. But he's gonna find his way to help that team win. And I'm not worried about the middle and nasty problem because he always gets to find his way, no matter how long it takes. And it doesn't take long usually for him. But okay, see enables that. Okay. See by location. Okay. See by the fact, that hey, we're not gonna win a championship. This is not a championship roster. The way that they played a style. It's not gonna work. It hasn't worked. So this is what okay see says. All right. Let them do what he has to do. You know, why we're not into getting the hardware where to selling these tickets, we're into selling entertainment, we're into we're still nationally relevant because we have a superstar on our team. But if they were in the business of winning exclusively. I don't think Westbrook would be allowed to do all these things. What would you? Rather him? Do he's not great off the ball. He's not a he's he's a good passer. But he's a score. He puts a lot of pressure on defenses. And you have to be aggressive to be affected. He puts the pressure on and Paul George this shooter Pohjola and a good rhythm right now. Yeah. So we get Russell in the same place. Paul George in. I think they can find a way to work together. And Russ is always trying to be a better basketball player. He's not stubbing the point of. I'm just gonna be me. And you guys just figure it out. No, I think he's trying to figure out himself and trying to just to be able to win because I think ultimately his goal is to win a championship. I don't think he's happy with winning MVP. I think he's trying to be a better person and a better basketball player better leader and working on those things because I know him as a person I know that he's he has a foundation of being a good person who wants to win and the condition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results yesterday. I had a double cheeseburger over at mows. That's my didn't help my diet out. And so I will look at Russell Westbrook and again the three point shooting he shot less than thirty percent last year. And he's coming back doing it again. And I go back to Marcellus his point about he plays the hardest at some point Russ. We wanna be able to say you also played the smartest game. And that's where he struggles. He plays very very hard and people respect that he comes out every ninety gives less sometimes Russ. Let us come on and say you played the smartest game I've ever seen. But he's outsmarted everybody. We tend to look at him and his skill set and always pick him apart about what he doesn't do. But have we taken advantage and looked at his pass and how he's grown over the years? So we we've looked at him from the beginning to where he is. Now, we can know that he's going to evolve into a better basketball player as he's always done. So he's going to take the bad parts about themselves because we all know the bad parts about about about ourselves and what we do in our craft. Yes. He no, he no he looks in the mirror and understands himself. He knows that these things so he's looking at it and trying to make himself. I don't I don't think he's stubborn in fact when I went to Moses yesterday, I knew I shouldn't have a double decision. I knew. Hi side is a democrat. Put that bacon on three combo. Let me, you know. What all I want to say about. Okay. See or Russell Westbrook team is that they play greater than some of its parts. I mean, that's what would you say, you're smarter. Like, he has it and he can enable Paul George and others get it. But it just seems like they're a little less. I when you have a weapon like Russell Westbrook. I think their their biggest thing is the find the parts around him to work with him. Just like Alan Iverson case the way they went to the finals and had a chance to win a championship against the Lakers. They found the parts that work best around him because he was such a dynamic force. Yes. Didn't pass the ball with the best of them. But he could score. And he could put a lot of pressure on defenses. And he in Russia's in that same set of a guard who puts pressure on defenses, and you have to find guys that complement him. And they're they're trying to find the right mix of guys to complement and make up for his deficient. And let me move to Lonzo ball. Let's move to the staple center. Boy Coby Bryan was sitting courtside. The Lakers got there. First. Home win of the year. Lebron dropped a triple double. And Lonzo ball made some big plays, including a huge step back. Three down the stretch till seal the game. I gotta admit lonzo's playing better and looks like a legitimate NBA player to me and looks like he should be starting to head of rage on Rondo where you dragging your tone right now as you're gonna dog in this race laws. I'm like, I'm like to be proven, right? And I was somebody that thought Lonzo would be a flop, and I got to eat my words here. And you know, you gotta chew a little slowly when you know. So then Lonzo look through good digest that mos-. I if we were right 'cause you're talking about my boy, man, I told you off from day one. This dude had a all time historical campaign as a rookie except one glaring issue this shooting efficiency. So you. Is a big one as a rookie many great that took time to actually evolved as shooters do understand. Sell it in whatever her what I'd nickname. Lonzo shot. George Gervin head the finger roll last year, Lonzo introduced the fingers crossed. He was shooting across the Rangers. And hope it went in. That was not a small problem. Here Papa rate. Respect to this E F forgotten the greatness of 'em. So for all the haters out. There named Jason Whitlock. Lonzo ball went out there yesterday reminded us a what he did in college. This shot is back to step back three when Lonzo brings this to his game. When this is a part of his equation, everything else is they're five steals last night. He's a great guard rebounded the guy sees the court pace of play. There's nothing wrong with the guy if he can continue to do what he's already shown us in the past. I agree with you that Lonzo was looking like a starting point guard. But there are a couple of things in question. Number one. Pops is taken a step back in loud, his talent to speak for himself. And we haven't seen big, yes. And his son to concentrate and disseminate to my new show of basketball like he's he's able to play confident and go out there and let us play speak for it. So then the competent the combination of the Lakers experiment, right? Now with bringing regime Rondo in and creating competition in practice and giving him something to strive for by competing his regime, Rondo has made him better. Now, he's more aggressive now, he's concentrated defensive. I think that's come from practicing against a champion and regime Rondo, but if Lonzo is the starter that makes them a better basketball team because there is no backup point guard, better invasion on Rondo. And I think that is a good sacrifice for the team. They're working. He brings the necessary. Energy to start the games. Lonzo was out there defending Bron had a great comment about Lonzo. Like, we take time. And we always dissect in the kid and tell them what he's not doing and how he's not shooting the ball. But can we take the time to see what he is doing? He's defending. Well, he's making great decisions he's bringing energy and he's taken up shots. And and he's playing with confidence. He's attacking the basket. He's out there leading the kid is doing his job very very quickly. I have one other question is cow coups Mer better than Brandon Ingram. Quickly. It's a tough question. But is he better than him? He's different and better for that starting lineup. I think if if Brent Ingram goes to the bench. I think they don't have any falloff with with their bench, you Brunton? Lebron's Jason come out and Brandon can come in and play at the high level at the small forward spot. I think they complement each other. Well, because you see coups push them off the ball when he gets the rebound and pushing it I think that's what the brand needs people make plays and have enough confidence to say, I gotta get out the way you just run with me. We got to move very quickly here. The Houston Rockets are talking about giving up four first round draft picks for Jimmy Butler. We the Houston rocket, and they would have to be spread out. I think over seven years because of MBA rules, but they're basically talking about giving up the entire future of the franchise to get Jimmy Butler. So they can win now. This sounds crazy and desperate to me. Me there four first round picks over seven years for Jimmy Butler because you let Trevor REEs ago, or I don't know how are Trevor REEs got out of there. This seems crazy to me it's desperate, but was wrong with being desperate. I hate the negative connotation of desperation, you know, might not work and might work think about it. This team was up three to the Golden State Warriors who seem desperate one time when they went out there and had to go get a K D because that wasn't desperate. That's a home run. It is a whole we knew that will work out. You don't think this will work out, but to them with agent, Chris Paul and James harden, they're going with the hamstring and having his own health concerns at times, we gotta push all the chips in the middle daily Rams are doing that right now football. Hey, y'all talk about tomorrow talk about it. Then I need to get over this hump. And they were that close last year why not more mortgages to try and get Jimmy Butler when you have a shot at a championship you have to play for the right now you have to play. With this window that you have your stars in for spas, an aging superstar, we know this James harden is an aging superstar. So these next four years there's nothing in the bottom of the bottom of the NBA draft is going to help me be a better basketball team. Jimmy, Butler automatically helps me be a better basketball team these assets that are sending their only taking the assets that they have they don't have any young talent that they can throw at him and tips and see if that that will entice him they have draft picks and tips can take a combination of those draft picks and go find something that that he needs in in free agency or in the trademark it coming up. So it could work for them. I see what they're doing. But it can backfire like with the Brooklyn nets. I would rather give four first round picks to move to the Eastern Conference then give up forty get Jimmy Butler and still have to face. Kevin Durant, Steph curry Draymond green and Klay Thompson and boogie cousins with in the west four those four first round picks are going to be what? Twenty four and five and he's six if you do what you're supposed to if you betting on Chris Paul and James harden and Clinton pillow like they're going to be bothered. They're going to be bottom of the first round. And would have you gotten in the bottom of the first round? Yeah. Maybe a Rudy Gobert. But that's like a diamond in the rough, and you're gonna find somebody at the bottom of the drawer. Oh, no, I'm sorry because the Lakers have done how does mccook cow coups, Josh heart. So you can find some things, but the luck has been to find a guy that you have to try try try to help you come star. And and you'll have one ready to play right now. And we have a window. That's right. That you take. My favorite segment of the show anti it is also I got my Twitter off right here. I hate Twitter Darnell Smith our social media manager. He loves Twitter was going on on their them Twitter's now the law going on. But first of all, no, no see sexual night. I lay ALTHEA new season. And what about last night ball state? I don't recall having last fifty two right? Two. That's what they say. Game break questionable officiating. What's Papa NFL where the Andre hop gives me one hell of a catch last night. But unfortunately, he was flat for office a pass interference. But you can't deny sitting amazing play former officer tackle, Joe Thomas was so impressed. He took the Twitter to show the Andreessen LA about tweeting quote. Okay. Maybe Andre hobbies are the best receiver in interview. You guys agree with Joe? No. I think he's doing too much here. If he wants to call him the best pass catcher in the NFL. I got it. Yeah. But he ain't Julio Jones Nian Antonio Brown, we go. I love great catcher. Maybe maybe what he says. Does he catch the ball better than Odell? Perhaps. That's the argument or the most consistent. No matter what the circumstances think all the quarterbacks he had to catch passes from and he's still been de'andre Hopkins top-five receiver. So you may want to bump them up. Because no matter who strong on the ball. He's gonna get his production. So I understand where he's coming from. But even the top tier I will get. You say Tonio braille Julio him Odell when he lies cooperating. So he's in that situation. I give them that. All right now. What's next you're going? Stay with the NFL. Von Miller is now engaged to girlfriend mega Denise, a former dancer Floyd Mayweather Vegas strip club. The two went public with Alicia begging, July, the SP's environment. The engaged me Instagram official yesterday when he posted a picture of the two of them captioned with a ring emoji viceroy, lavar, look, I I certainly have no hate for of Miller here. I gotta keep it real. You know when t payment song, I'm in love with a stripper a lot of people thought that was about me. Out. How this does seem a little quick, man. They only been deigned to it three months. Oh, I'll say don't do it reconsider recent little let me say this. I've been engaged four times. Oh, and all he did it. So maybe this is round one form being. I had a teammate up in buffalo that was engaged to someone who had that occupation. It didn't work out for them. But I'm not blaming occupation. 'cause a lot of people in other side blame are occupied should be a football players. Don't you engage to football player? You know, that's not gonna work. So do you. And hopefully last ever congratulations on the young lady. I see why. Congratulates Don Ellis necks are moving over to the NBA where a billboard went up in New York near Madison Square Garden, featuring Kevin Durant. The Knicks jersey next Kristaps Porzingis with the question can you make New York sports? Great again, most responses on Twitter awards warrant, so positive and even Durant wasn't Wola by saying, quote, I don't really know how to feel about that type of stuff is cool. No disrespect. But I'm not really impressed with that type of stuff you guys buying Katie doesn't like the attention. Not right now. It's Tober season's just starting. I he wants to tamp down the New York speculation and conversation right now I but this doesn't impress. Impress a superstar. Like think about it. Like, this guy has been through recruiting process guys gotten mega contracts. This guy makes more off the court than he does on the court and you're gonna put up a billboard from the eighties. This is going to sway you it doesn't work the White House. Our with the Lakers, stay d twelve that didn't work. You can't go out there and press these guys like if they're coming. They're coming but save you money, man. They'll spend it on painting up a wall. These news away past that place. You know, whoever did the billboard. I thought it was kinda weird. Kevin durant? Like seven foot Inga seven to it. Looks like Kevin Durant like six six pitcher with anyway, what's next door? Now are moving on on very exciting news for our home Marcellus Wiley, what up who just released his book never shut up earlier this week. And it's already the number one. So in new release Amazon. You were super pump for you. Congratulations. But the question is would like have you read the book yet? I have not read the ball. Not working. I'm going to read the book, I got a plane tonight, a mccarey the book with me and started on my plane ride. So the east coast, but I'm looking forward to it. And seriously man, this is hell of an honor that you're moving this many units. This is also my hope to see you on the New York Times bestseller. Appreciate it. But don't try impressed me now because I got a camera looking at the book in your dressing. Let's shall we. See what's inside? Day said we're locks dressing room. Oh, my book in the same position. I gave it to you. You can't even I'm hearing with me tonight. No on my book bag is in there right now. I'm throwing in the back of my book, and I'm carrying you remember in school when your teacher said did you read a book with me on Monday, and you will at least play with the pages. So they can look like you play with the pages. So you can read about this. I can't think of the name of those cliff notes. You got cliff? Not this is. About me. I'm gonna read it. I Don gosh. So yes, an AL's chicken now fair game with their own Christine lady. Oh, yet, a special guests mister Josh do mail, and he seem to have an issue with Draymond green. Think. Listen, the thing that made me upset was that she was taking a lot of really cruel sort of. Comments to more people really trolling. I was pissed off Draymond green. First of all the he owed her an apology. I thought he was kind of a prick. Just because he knew the camera was on him. And he's snickered about it. And I just thought that if he would have been a real man he would have these called her and said this. I'm sorry that 'cause all that he never reached out. No. Of course, you did. You try to get that message then. No, okay. Well, maybe he's watching now and he can apply this to her. I mean, that's what a real man would have done in my opinion does Joshua point here. No. Because let me tell you what real singer would have done a real single would have done a hell of a version of the national people wouldn't have been giving you get out there. And you try to do Marvin gain you screw it up. Yeah. MS mess it up people. Don't laugh, look, this is all over the place one as a singer if you wanna flex your creative freedom do it at a cost and that a risk. I've seen a thousand Dacia pale could do a comedy show, not everybody's laughing. And some people are like this. I ain't even funny. You're not supposed to focus in on that if I'm a front of thousands of people you care about the feud as laughing at me, I'm gonna go out there do me, but hey, stick your lady and plus. I don't even think Draymond even knew for sure he was on camera. I'm sure the cameras flashing everywhere. You never know who's on TV dream mine. Don't know don't know. Oh, any by that apology, Fergie apologized afterwards. If you remember 'cause she messed up the national anthem, and she knows it. And so don't turn her into a victim. She she took a chance, and then flop we've all done it. I mean, look, why are you Fergus lists? He made just live with that. I mean, that's still. I would ever worry about somebody's laughing at me at the bed made this great job. I Christine lady though that news everywhere. Good job. All right. Thank you. L I today. We're talking about this. Shawn Watson threw five touchdowns last night and a win over the dolphins. The put the Texans in command of the AFC south. I'm pretty high on dishonor Watson, I heavy met a total score of seventy one and all star level job performance right now. We'll give him a twenty one character. I will give him a Twenty-three authenticity. I would give him a twenty. And then in all time greatest. I'd give him a seven for a total of seventy one. He's an all star performance. Yeah. I gotta respect what you say. But as you said yesterday the Whitlam formula for me is at eight so. Loom or positive you, man. I give them a setting ninety a borderline goat. He's right at the top all the borderline go. Well, we do respect off the field character intensity. Where the guy is perfect off the field. I mean perfect perfect per this guy so far and perception he walks around and gives them -ployees his game. Check like, I forgot that nice. As I wasn't as given us. I was I never even thought about doing this. So Vic, obviously, supporting the community and his causes. He says the right things you talk about a guy who's with de'andre Hopkins and pre-game interviews de'andre jurist to the t he just got a hoodie. All like, I'm just a ball player. And I love that. Because that's who he is man. I respect them on the field. Nineteen all-time greatness is a ten which may seem low. But it's not he's only little Hotta me. Oh, oh, seems a little high. Again, he won a national championship beat Bama. Believe in college. I get that. But what else again, you gotta have some posts NFL postseason success. Yes. You know, it's coming. I mean look season was interrupted last year. Obviously that one Heisman interrupted allow didn't win a Heisman. Not. Then I want to double check this one. I thought the same thing did not win a highs. Okay. Get a nine. Anyway, great respect for the guy what he's done and he's on a pace on a track that you're going to say this could be all time. Great performances. Listen, if he does what he did last night or anything close to that the rest of the season, and they have postseason success. I'll be right there with you. Probably haven't been gold status by the end of the year. So Baker Mayfield still has a higher grade for you. That was all not now but back then he has been weeks since then that was coming off a great first victory.

Luck v. Pats tonight, Dodgers WS ready?, LBJ goals
Oh, get ready for some upset football tonight. I wanna speak for yourself. I'm Jason lot that is Marcellus Wiley, that dude coming up. We'll tell you if it's World Series or bus for the dodge kind of drew Brees is on the same level as Peyton Manning, I just said, but we start with today's with logs which got today. Oh, I got some Thursday night football on FOX. All right. I got Andrew luck in a big spot tonight. Are you smell that Marcel smell what you're cooking smell that that's an upset Bruin that's Andrew luck delivering on all his potential and promise tonight. That's Frank right erasing the stint of his boneheaded overtime decision from last Sunday, the New England Patriots cowherds favorite team, ten point favorites tonight over the coats. They're going down inside Gillette stadium. Andrew luck needs this victory far. More than Tom Brady luck is Owen five. Bill Belichick and the patriots lugs passer rating drops nearly twenty points when he faces a Bill to check lead defense to be the man. You have to beat the man. Andrew. Luckily they signature performance in victory to stamp himself as back as an elite quarterback who's been too long since he pulled off something amazing. In my opinion, his signature fell moment came at the conclusion of the two thousand thirteen season when he rallied the culturally twenty eight point deficit for forty five forty, four victory over the chiefs in the playoffs at hurt. And at that time, everybody thought luck was the heir to the throne shared by Peyton Manning and Tom Brady he peaked the next season. Two forty touchdown passes and the NFL network ranked him as the seventh best player in the entire league. It's pretty much been misfortune and injuries ever since in four years. He's won eleven games and lost fifteen. His stats look nice this season. He's played at a high. Level, but the culture one in three and as bad as rights go for decision was last week, you know what was just as bad as that fourth and four brain fart. Lux throw. No one is talking about Lux fastball at the receivers ankles it was horrible. It was uncatchable. It's a throw Brock Osweiler would make not something you'd expect from attention. Legend tonight is Lux night of redemption. Tonight luck remind football fans that he was the guy who was supposed to be the next John Elway not Patrick Mahomes the greatest of all time. Obviously, the soda injuries have made it impossible for love to launch the ball, the way Elway did and Mahomes does what lung cancer still be is the next Brady or Manny, a quarterback who beat you with his mind as much as arm. There's no excuses tonight, and his defense is in great. It's the road, but the colts can get after the quarterback. They're second in the league and sacks. Seventeen total. They'll heat up Brady forced the patriots to point occasionally, and I expect luck to put thirty five points on the scoreboard and remind everyone why he was seen as the most can't miss quarterback prospect since John Elway nine hundred three patriots go down tonight. Marcellus, Andrew luck is the primary reason. Pages go down tonight. I heard all that. I'm still processing smelling what you cook in the kitchen. Not exactly what you said upset brewing, but let's in order to have proper message Inc extract a line item from your Whitlow. Expand on it. Okay. Let's put up Andrew Lux record against one master Bill, Belichick damn doughnut in five. Okay. Don't let me do some simple math carry to one that went percentage zero. Okay. He's never been able to beat them. Everything else supports the fact that he's never been able to be Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. So now let's talk about what that means and let me take you into the locker room where coach would sit there after seeing something like this. And then with challenge, all of us will log. You know what he was saying to us with. Not supposed to say, what is he was he's because you state all what are these. You know what he was saying, either your do or you do, and this is the situation. Are you do Andrew lucked to beat the patriots finally, or are you just do? And I hate to say this, but against the patriots and Bill Belichick and you do, and he's not gonna be able to pick himself up this time because this is a compromise version of Andrew lucked versus the healthy version that's still had no success against Belgium. What gives you the faith? The same guy who came through the hail Mary for his team to win a ball game is now don't go in there and get his first win against Belgium. It's inevitable. He will not retire having never beaten the patriots, so it's inevitable. Okay. But more than do. He's. That I'm Frank Reich embarrassed himself last week and they are backed up against the wall. A one in four start is going to unleash some desperation in Frank, right in Andrew luck, Andrew lucked cosign for that decision last week. And just because I'm the only one that has pointed out that that passing through garbage trust me. Andrew luck knows it was garbage, and that's one of the reason why he cosign for that decision because he didn't put the ball in a place where the receiver could even make a play to back up his coat. Andrew luck has to push them chips into the middle of the table night, the patriots. I think our little overvalue because of the Miami win. And to me that Miami blowout said more about the dolphins being fraud than the patriots having fixed all of their problems. I don't believe in the patriots offense of line. I do believe in this Indianapolis, Colts defensive line. They got some dude. I never heard of this like six eight hundred ninety pounds. Got four sacks from the interior defense attack. These meant to be they have a real defensive line. They're getting four sachse game. They are going to heat Brady up, calls a turnover to for some punts, and then it will be on Andrew luck to deliver the night and deliver for four quarters. I just think he's do. I think they're desperate. I think no way he can come out this year and start one and four. He or Frank, right? I, but I think you have a bit of a problem with Andrew luck. Oh, me you? Yeah, I really think we're your cynicism because this ten point line, I'm tell you it's just ridiculous, but I think your cynicism is youth think Andrew luck has gotten a pass most of his career. Yeah. I mean, I hate to fast forward to the thinking cap segment when you're media, but I do have a problem with the media and I'm pointing a finger at two particular and the masses immediate has given this guy a pass how, how? Okay. This is a player that we heard was the best prospect since John Elway. Now using that as a measurement of expectations, has he delivered on those expectations? Yes or no, Jason willow the first three years. He went eleven and five every year, and he played in the AFC championship game, and I haven't been the hugest analysts. Andrew luck support, but when you go look at what he did when healthy? Yeah. Okay. I love how you qualified all that gave me a longer answer. Yes. Okay. You didn't want to really be narrowed down to yes or no? I will support this with another full screen. Looking me. Got all this support today. Check this out in terms of why is getting past this is the Cam Newton who we do Mitchell gymnastics four to criticize, can't give them enough credit and Angela who we just can't stop giving them praise despite the situation performance Cam Newton, number one, overall, pick Andrew luck saying national champion winner. So expectations should have been higher, but they weren't versus the guy who never even want his conference championship. We gotta. Heisman winner. On one side, we criticize has everyone Heisman new Super Bowl appearance by one Cam Newton. Did edge ever make soup new NFL MVP Cam Newton? Superman has been t- news and we're talking about durability to best ability is availability. One guy's mystery gains as a pro, including a car accident played that week, and another guy has missed twenty six games including the ski accident when he was already injured and missing entire year. But I asked you Jason Whitlock once again that he lived up to expectations and where's all this wait and see approach coming? Fragile. Look when we don't give Cam Newton, even that kind of myself. I gotta give you credit. Nobody moves the goal posts quite like you and you just moved them. Brilliant. You just you just change this from a conversation about Andrew love to housi- stack up to Cam Newton and look. I would be on board with you because I, I love Cam Newton, the ways plan this year. I think he's playing at a really high level and you're right, he's. Been the MVP and all those things. And yes, if you compare resume to resume, you would quite what Camden criticized luck. Good. So I'll go there with you there, but but what I'll say is some guys bring criticism on themselves. I'll give you that some some, some guys, losing Super Bowl and don't talk to the medium, pow, some guys, though a towel over their head and powder on the sidelines, some guys at home, watching it. Yeah. No question about, but there are things you can do to bait the media. Some guys stand up for other media and try to crack a joke about a female reporter, understanding football and all this other stuff. So Cam Newton, loving debt, and I've never given up on him even when he was struggling. I was like, man, you don't give up on young people. You don't give people with that much talent. I get it KM off the field and things not having to do with all just playing the quarterback position, bring some of the criticism on himself. Andrew luck doesn't do that and blue ball. I'll give you that all shook sky. He wins, he wins the press conference and look, he's talented and we know he's good and expectations may be a little absurd based on what we've seen. But since Cam Newton loses the press conference, I don't understand why that bleeds onto his performance. And if Cam Newton had the nerve to walk up to a patriot game with over five record, the outcry will be much louder than we're hearing right now. We're saying, wait. And see we're saying, I'm wishing the snow. You wishing for this through the ball out when we kill guys when they haven't succeeded yet, listen, I'm consisted young people in talent. I don't give up on witching so I don't give up on Cam Newton tonight. I'm not giving up on Andrew luck. He's young person with talent has had some injuries. I do think you're right in, you know, he comes from Stanford and he didn't have that controversy that Cam had in college and so and look the media, a lot of times wants to talk about things other than football because that's what they're comfortable with. That's what they know. Football's a complicated game. A lot of guys, even covering the media don't really undis- covering football, don't really understand it. I you make some fair points. I'm pushing some chips into the middle of the table on Andrew luck. If this doesn't go well, expect me to walk it all the way back. He ain't my guy. I'm not a colts fan. I'm a chief fair. I'm pays affair. I'm from Indianapolis originally, but I coasted entry -joyed, right? The coach wasn't there when I was growing up as a kid. I'm not a coast scout. I do think Andrew luck has a chance here to justify some of the, you know, push all your chips in the middle, but that's how casinos were built in Vegas. No, to do this only five billeted tonight's tonight is the night. Let's get to some big stories starting right here in Los Angeles where the dodgers kickoff there nationally division series against the Braves tonight. It's now been thirty years since the dodgers last World Series championship and after coming up just short last year, the Astros the LA times now says it's championship or bus for Dave Roberts his crew Marcellus. You agree, disagree, absolutely disagree. It's interesting how LA will sell it self. As we are the hub and epicenter of culture, we export our culture all across the world, and we're trying to do right now is exported. Teen hasn't won a World Series and thirty years and say, this is the World Series or bus campaign for his team. How with the injuries and inconsistencies they've had this year. This was a good sale last year when a team look like, hey, you should win the World Series and came one game short despite some employers by Clayton Kershaw and a kenley Jansen. And it's interesting video started off with kenley Jansen and his inconsistencies. This year, this is a guy who was given up thirteen home runs used to be the best reliever. Certainly in the National League thirteen home runs this season alone. That's four more than the previous two seasons combined. This is not eighteen at a supposed to win the World Series. This is a scrappy wants to have four must win games that won those games got hot at the right time. But at the same time, the expectation. Are lower. We're trying to sell this more so than no. I think you may have missed the point of the LA times story. In my view, look what they got the third highest payroll in baseball. So I want to hear any excuses, but more than that, you got the LA Rams going gangbusters. Okay. And you got LeBron James now in town Lakers. Right. And so what if the dodgers wanna keep this dodgers town when the NFL has shown up in the biggest way possible this exciting offense. This team that looks like it's going to be a Super Bowl contender moving forward. Not just this year. Moving forward. LeBron James is going to be here for at least four years pair with Magic Johnson. Maybe not this year, but in the following year, they're probably gonna have someone for LeBron to play with if the dodgers wanna be. Don't wanna be in third place which maybe they already are now is champion. It's World Series a bus. You can't go thirty years without winning the title. And compete against a powerhouse football team and the biggest star and all the sports LeBron James. Well, look, I don't think thirty years has been the issue for the dodgers because they've had the highest payroll before they keep beating their own record. And now they've dropped at third when they used to be first attendance records, they keep beating their own attendance records, but the Lakers didn't lose any of this luster and terms of it being number one in LA. This fight is lowly. Tom's in the nineties, despite his lowly times in the last five years, like we keep saying, oh, and the raiders around were here before the Rams have not supplanted the raiders despite their success now success now. And if they win, the Super Bowl is still a raiders town. I'm not sure you're not sure, but if that, I don't know if that'll be true. I, I would say this that baseball, in terms of what it means to LA is historical, like the game is a game of numbers of game of that history. Dodgers need to win for the dodgers, but don't sell the Showtime version of the dodgers when this is a scrappy. A bus that may get out in the first round to a big story in the NBA where the league's angle survey of general managers just pitting LeBron James as the favourite to win MVP this year, it's hard to believe, but LeBron hasn't won the award since two thousand thirteen. And our friend, Chris Carter on first things. First says, winning this year would carry a special significance. I feel as if LeBron does win MVP is like his fourth championship sixteenth year in the league at this age. And I think this is tremendous compliment coming from the general manager's. All right. So I saw this and I thought it was an interesting discussion. Chris was having. Could a championship MVP be just as valuable to lebrons legacy as another title? No. And I think when you hear that you try to process that and you say, oh, that makes sense. You know, at this age, thirty four and plan for another franchise and to be the best in the world, but actually get respected as the MVP by journalists, amazing until you start to think the collective doesn't respect MVP's like they do championships, go to any barbershop, go to any sports bar and sit there and start saying a man, how many every peas does Jordan have? Right. And then you say, how many does Kareem have six. How many shack have one or two? There we go. You got wrong. Got one I've okay. Okay. Larry Bird had three or four. There you go. See, that's the thing. Have. No, not see. Here we go ready. It's interesting how you're starting to get divided and start. But when I started saying how many championships is not three or four is is. Boom, and that's the problem with abroad. He's not going to win, MVP, traveling, trophy. And even if he does, we're not gonna say, oh, that's your four free. We're going to say you were do more VP's in the past. If he gets to a fifth MVP that's the same numbers. Michael Jordan and trust me the the LeBron lovers will start making that a part of their argument. He's got five in BP's and he got his fifth at as thirty four on a Lakers team that wasn't that good. They'll make it part of their argument. I do think it will enhance his legacy. Will it make equal Michael Jordan? No. Is it the equal of another championship? No, but it is a nice nother accomplishment that LeBron at and trust me if he gets his fifth, he's going to make sure he gets his six and tie him with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and have one more than Michael. Jordan. And so I do think it'll just be another little of feather in LeBron's cap in his war against Michael Jordan and the people that are involved at look to me, he'll never be equal, Michael Jordan who you went? No, he'll never be equal. Michael Jordan. If he gets two or three, we gotta add one day. He'll never be Michael Jordan that. But if he gets this extra MVP into step closer, look LeBron has to have all these parts add up to be a greater. Some then would he is because Jordan is perfection. The Braun is like you said, now the feather. Now the feather nother feather. You know, used to walk to the Bank when you're little and you and have a dollar yen. One hundred pennies I- dollar once I walk out the Bank walk their one hundred. This is another penny to that collection try and catch up to that one dollar Bill that Jordan has already played down. I don't think it measures up as you even said MVP's versus championships. I've never heard of player preceded say, you know what? My goal is this year, go out there and get that MVP say. That loud, but trust me bottom had go Kevin Durant, Scott at this year geared to you. What did you take it in place? A championship, maybe TV. We do a team. College baseball, where the university of Georgia decided to dismiss one of its best players, senior first baseman. Adam Sasser after reports that Sasser directed racial slurs from the at BULLDOGS backup quarterback. Justin fields during the football team's game against Tennessee on Saturday. Marcellus was dismissing Sasser from the team, the right move. Absolutely. It's the right move. Some grandma used to tell me and I know you religious, spiritual guide church grandma say God whispers before yields and think about this. When you're talking about a student athlete who was held to a higher standard because of all the perks and all the accolades you're giving just being on the team, let alone being successful and good at the team. You get to walk around with the sweat suit, empty backpack. You go to the frat party and say, Hello to the girl. He knows your name before you even said, Hello, all the perks. And there are some fine print. You can't act stupid like everyone else. So here's the thing that really is discouraging about this one that the n. word was in him. Like somewhere in him, he felt comfortable in were whether in private or not, but he took it outside and then only take it outside. They told him to stop when he was outside, and he kept going guess what? It's time to yell at this dude, it's time to come down with the hammer. And I think that this is setting a great example of whatever you're probably be your is which we don't even want to this. Behavior, but go, whatever. You're probably be various, please respected as private behavior now representing our university as a member of the baseball team. You gotta take the hill that comes from it. I listen. I think there was a young woman involved in this who I thought handled everything very appropriately, asking to stop, got the police to come over to try to get him to stop and he did eventually and then went someplace where you complain about fam- behavior and did perfect. Yes, I as an adult, I'm very reluctant to give up on people because I just know the mistakes I made in you. True and thank God. Some of them didn't become public because I made some serious mistakes and things that I would put on par with this do being. So I felt like what should have happened is he should have been suspended from the team and punished. And then when I see behavior like this, this is someone that needs help literally needs some men. Mental help. And so I'm not for discarding people. I'm forgiving them the help that they need. He needs some counseling because if you're out in public at a sporting event surrounded by all these people, you don't know, and you're a Representative of that university and there's another Representative of that university that you, you have a partnership in alliance with your student athletes and you think I don't care how much alcohol was consumed, you think this is appropriate. This is somebody to me screaming for help, and I would rather give him help than to Austria is him and move him out of society because I just know there have been times in my life where I've needed help, and thank God. I was giving time to evolve mature and become a better person. Okay. Look, I'm not saying ostracize ago. I'm saying we, you need help and we're gonna put this improper priority, which is your life, your personal issues. I not baseball first and then let's get you help on the side. So this is a way to reprioritize was important to this kid and the. The kid has to go through this process. Sometimes being told that that's not good enough, and we're going to discipline you in terms of action is the wakeup call you need. So I don't want to make this guy think, oh, I could go to practice in a week or two. If just go through this routine process of evaluation, this is good and the guy owned up to it. He seems to show some contrition respect for that, and thank God. This is not another case. Someone Rattlers tired of hearing that went up now. This was not know this. About with locking Wiley. We're joined now by FOX NFL analyst. Mark slayer, Andy is low hall. Our guys, let's move to New Orleans where drew Brees just twenty yards Monday night against the Redskins to bring Peyton Manning's all time. Passing records down. While Peyton is always mentioned in the greatest QB of all time. Discussion breeze might deserve consideration in then conversation while he never got the MVP love Peyton did statistically he stacks up a lot closer to manning than most people probably realize gentlemen, I'm not the hugest Peyton Manning, but he's on a different planet drew Brees I think silly. Wow, that's a lot, and I'm a huge pay and I agree with you even though I don't wanna take that shot at drew Brees who was drafted my first year in San Diego. He was rookie drafted to that team and we didn't see this coming the NFL. Is coming in part why he was a second rounder. And so because he's a victim of his own branding, he's not a former number one overall pick you don't get that machinery behind you hype up your numbers. No MVP's Marcel, bro you over here. My notes because three while I'm sitting there like this is not a conversation. I have five in the Ps while you still were in a field. Like I want my first one you were playing and got five of those and you have doughnut that's enough to just end this argument right there, respect to bruise. You know, I'm laughing because come on man drew is not the sixty pig. No drew drew has done what it what, what it takes to be considered an all time. Great. Quarterback man, look at his numbers. Look at some of the teams he's played for in an error, will A-Team a coach that doesn't even really believe in running the ball. He's done this basically when dimensional by by just passing the ball. I've had to go against drew Brees. And I love pain men. And I told the story earlier today, why Peyton is my all time favorite, but I put drew in the same conversation, man where we're paying your propre preparing for these guys. You prepare the same way drew can do the same things to you that except Druze sex cruise, six, five. Yeah, but but what I don't know what happened that season like was there season. I need to go back and do my homework and I will. Just really breakdown. Somebody sees five. Some of the seasons drew over for the five to the five. You've got over five thousand yards. Like what happened in AP go for two thousand is something else. Phenomenal happen that didn't give drew Brees the intimate three. We can't just say, yeah, he's in the conversation just because he didn't win it as a mean, he's not grace. I always look at look at Peyton Manning who who essentially change the league from the standpoint of, here's a guy that will orchestrate an offense from the line of scrimmage, and he was kind of the guy that got credit. The narrative is he's got credit for doing those things. I mean, I've watched Peyton zoom, Denver. Oh, I know I watched him in like John FOX was walked up to him, watch practice. And John Faulk says to me, we do blitz pickup every day because Peyton Manning demands that we do blitz pick up every day with the least blitz team league. Nobody bleeds us right and not one coach was talking not paid manning, ran the practice, and I'm like, John, your head goes, you just said, we're going to do. Or you could meet paid win a lot. Well, this we so he changed that, but there's a lot of quarterbacks of come along under that and said, okay, well, this is how we operate drew Brees one of the top five, six quarterbacks separate played this game just because he doesn't have the MVP's. Well, I understand when Brady's winning world championship and Peyton Manning fell. Yeah. Ratings, quarterbacks of all time hit that have you seventy-one thousand total yards. I mean, note he's played. He's played without defense. The guy played six foot tall, and he has been able to put the numbers up that he has put the get the little underdog story. I love it. About being little underdog. Now these numbers put him into categories of these big top dog. He's just said, top-five. I did hear six, but you didn't really land on that woulda Brady out. There would a Montana with a Peyton Manning what Marino would've Elway. I mean, leave young like we turn, what do we turn around? Look at that picture Louise like pays little brother, look. Also very doors. Every says, come out in the draft accuracy is the most important thing. He's the most accurate quarterback in history. Okay. Breezes. Okay. Well, let's talk about losing seasons. I hate doing this when you splitting hairs amongst greats. You start to compare to look like you take shots, not taking shop. Two losing seasons for paid. Men include as rookie year. Thirteen Jewish had six. So the Angeles says, I wanna look into every year. They're six losing seasons with your Senate top-five quarterback in NFL history alway had to desk tough. That's tough to swallow win. One guy has to in what was his first year in fill. And now that was a horrible team while he was the number one overall pick in Peyton Manning on the seaweed liked to throw numbers out when it when it when it benefits us. Yes, that's cost. No, no. Seriously, though. Drew Drew's. Teams aren't are anywhere comparible to Payton's teams. I'm talking teams. It takes a team to win a championship and to win football games withdrew. I feel like has single-handedly at times. It's been times when we went to play those guys. We didn't know who else was on the roster. Right. All right. And drew was still the constant professional every single snap. You know what? He what he's bringing to the table and is very similar to the same things. Payton does. Yeah, payments. He's just not. I mean. Not on the commercials, right? Drew's not known. He's not in. You ain't MVP and by the way that the accuracy thing who throws it down the field more than drew Brees in the league. The Wade's currently constructed, I would like to real something back five or six time. Obviously that generation of his generation is trying to go with. It didn't come out right to another. Patrick Mahomes teeth. Quarterback is off to one of the hottest starts in NFL history, but he will face his toughest test yet against the Jaguars vaunted defense on Sunday, but even Jags coach, Doug Marrone sounds like he's in all Mahomes saying he can't put into perspective how well young quarterback is playing. I think there's no shot that the Jaguars slowdown Patrick Mahomes. He just had his slowdown game against the the Broncos for three quarters, and then came back out in the fourth quarter became a monster. I expect to see that monster against the Jaguar. Yeah, let me play rise to great. Trent Dilfer one of my closest friends and minds when it comes to football. He said same here. So. There's no defending the perfect pass. And as a former defender, I don't care what position you're in. You can't defend the perfect pass and more so than anybody we've seen of late. This got throws perfect pal. You know whether he's not going through thirty five perfect passes out of forty. Eight attempts point come Sunday, and I just think that this Jacksonville defense, they're built different. When you can just rush with three or even four at times and drop the rest of those guys in coverage. It's gonna make for a long day fold pet. Patty Mahomes here because I'm telling you that defense will nine believe not. No, I'm not a knob believe. I think Patrick Mahomes is an amazing talent. I wanna see him do it foot for the full season, but this is one of those matchups that's going to humble them a little bit or not even humble him because I know he is humble in his approach, but I think we as the media, we tend to cloud, we're row crown. Them. And so I just think this is gonna bring back down to reality this. Now this defense isn't what he's gonna face every week, and so we'll see him go against the best. You talk about tyreek hill call out Jalen Ramsey saying, yeah, I wanna see. Do because people saying, I'm good. We all know. He's good. Let's go. Let's match up. That's the kind of one on one match you're going to see. And I'm telling you if that Franken, Russian with three and four guys and a lie. Everyone else to play coverage. Linebackers can run like he's hold is not going to be running this pocketing. Thank miles Jack. And Tim Smith. Mario to be like this team is all world eatable. Well, one arm. Be they will be ready. Okay. I'm this runs trying to make sure I'm one hundred percent with you when it comes to this Jacksonville, Jaguar defense, not only from a back end standpoint, their linebackers can run like none other. They're physically they will dominate a line of scrimmage. What was this thing you said earlier in the program? I was listening. I was over there kind of taking a little nap. I heard it because it resonated it was something about doing. Do. Do is the defense, and let me just tell you on the on. The doodoo aspect of that is Doug Marrone understands complimentary football, and he understands the value of plan, smash, mouth football, and not letting pack on a home. I don't care how four net is I. That doesn't matter to me. They will physically dominate the line of scrimmage, hey, how healthy. You know, you look at Freeman had eight carries in that game, average nine yards a carry. Lindsey had I don't how many carries, but he had averaged almost six, six yards a carry through the Broncos. They came out in the very end of that game, how to opportunity salted away. They came out and eleven personnel and they threw a bubble screen and they had like come in line of two tights, liable the fullback and running back homes on the homes on the sideline and that defense, let me tell you that defense is for real and they're going to be fresh because of the complementary nature of the way they do. I think Jacksonville upsets them, here's what blows up your whole deal. When they're down team in the second quarter, they don't have to throw the football, and that's what Patrick home pattern homes. And Andy re. We already know what Andy Reed's first fifteen twenty plays like every for for to den. He's going to put some points on the last week was the first time they didn't score on their opening touchdown on their opening possession. They had to settle for field. Eighty read is going to figure out a way to put two scores on the board. And may Jackson jets made Blake Bortles without a friend. Boorda's can even beat Kansas City man, honest. While back Mark? Slayer Indians, little Haller back. Let's move to Pittsburgh Steelers off into lime, made no secret of their displeasure with lady on bells hold out earlier in the season. But now here to have mixed feelings about bill's expected. Return to the team in week, seven with Marcus Gilbert, saying, quote, I wish we can have him back today as data so long. Why wouldn't he come back here and be around the guys and see us in the I, I don't know. I know we're all waiting on him while Ramon foster says, if he's not here, he's not here. I'll believe it. When I see it, we'll go with who we've got this week. And when he comes back, he comes back. I said this yesterday and I stand on it lady on one the negotiating war. He's humbled his teams from big been to the offense. They need lady. I'm Bill this all just white noise. I thought it was white noise because of the violation of the code and you're talking about my money. Keep my damn name out your mouth. Can you please. I respect, but then you've had time to process this and you still talking about me and I'm already saying, I'm coming back. Oh, okay, violation, I won't forgive. And you know why? Because I time shame on you second time shame on me. So I think before I was with you with, I'm going to the locker room, pull them to the side. You know what you guys say before all forgiving get you wanted me that I was coming out. But this time when you already know all the criticism has come your way every single former players like never seen something like this and you're still going on record talking about me. Oh, I got a problem with this one, but you know what, though. Is not going to matter when those guys get in their locker room. It's gonna be all by us. We've all seen. We've all been apart of fights in training camp, whereas drag out brawls you hate do in the locker room, man. You know, let's keep moving. We all here to do the same thing and that's win. And that's what I feel like the vibe will be in that locker room when I'm guessing because it ended, they were me. We don't like discussing our feelings talking about this or that right or wrong about is going to go in there and pull nobody as I say, I'm gonna let it go and do that promise. You ain't nobody gonna do that in that locker room. Those guys going carry on like businesses, usual, nothing has Elliott happy with me. I was gonna have it in the back of his Ma. This is how many times have you had a trying to can't fight? We all have right on the same. Do. That would. Refined the. I wish we could have him back. Why taking so long? Why would he come back here? I don't know because you're all bunch of Benedict Arnold. Your all bunch of backstabbers for me, the one this is so anti offense of line, it makes me wanna vomit like that. That to me, I'd never seen offensive lineman talk. So I mean that just that just points to function this this stink though, in terms of there's a culture of offense Allama just not them there was I think about think about the offense of your your last wrong ladder. You're the. I mean you're wanting to Drouet from being a fan. You can't go once offense of line. You can't go anywhere else. You can't all sudden transitional linebacker, lose some weight, the worst athlete on the team. So we don't ever talk about nothing like we. We are like, we are one hundred percent. We don't want our names in anybody's mouth because why it's usually just a holding call you wanna be able to lay it on the line for each other five guys together as one have to do a job. So. That everybody else can shine. And that's, that's what you do a group and then to have them out here talking about some guy's money, some guy who happens to be exceptionally valuable to this franchise that the franchise basically said, we don't want to give you a real contract and you guys are gonna put it on him. I mean, barest for the Pittsburgh. I think that offense of wanna bunch of frauds and to me, you know what? That's the way you guys go about your business. If I was laying on Bill, I come into my business, but I wouldn't wanna be. I'm not picking out curtains going donuts with these guys. Offense of lines being very, we're in Kansas City when they had a great offense aligned Willie rove and Brian waters wills, you. They used to find is if your name was in the paper, had a low kangaroo court in the locker room that it cost you money. If you made it if you made into the newspaper, this is off brand for offense, align amazing that they're talking about a guy who's made them money, who's made them look good because of all the rushing yards and and the passes out of the backfield. The stereotype in the reality is office alignment. They're the tightest Nick group and their smartest of all like, you see the office, allow your job you, it's hard to penetrate that group know you go to cafeteria, they're, they're, they're right there extra each other. You come back in the locker room, they're they're always tightened group. Like you said anonymous as well. I don't. I don't get this. I don't eat it. And when it first came out that they commented on the money, I was totally taken off guard because like you say, I've never been in the locker room where anyone's ever spoken up against a player because it's against them. Right? You know, like you talking about Megan paid is not gonna get you pay for each. So let me ask you Marcel. So he put you on the spot any this bad look for Mike Tomlin? Not to me. Let me pull that back. Coach can go out there and say, if I hear another word spoken about on Bill, there's held a pay and I've seen that before and we've seen that insert situations. Bell checks would be like, that's not having. So in that respect. Yeah, but I think you're gonna walk in. He's gonna look around. He's going to have issue with these guys, like you said that I carry. They're gonna be best friends because it's time to go out there mix. Today we're talking through loved who will face with Tom Brady and the patriots tonight on luck with supposed to be a once in a lifetime talent. But he hasn't exactly lived up to the hype and all those expectations. My rating for him has fallen a bit to a sixty seven, a heavy MS, a role player right now. I, I'm not big on his character. That's where Marceau's you have hired and that you got what's what's issue with his character. I just don't think he's a leader. I don't. I think when you talk to people and Indianapolis that remember how Peyton Manning commanded that franchising that locker room, Andrew looks nowhere near that. He had a bad team or the two and four team. As you said, eleven wins, Levin wins, living wins, playoffs kep going further and further than injuries derailed that presence in the locker room in terms of taking command what he will and will not tolerate Peyton Manning left. A big blueprint and a big shadow, and Andrew luck hasn't lived up to that as leader. Andrew luck goofball man, the beard the whole thing. Some of its own says awkward. I'm not beating up on the guy and Peyton Manning's a terrible stay hard standard to live up to, but that's where I have a little bit down just as a sixteen character. You know, job performance. I got him down three points per sixty, seven overall higher. I'm taking shots, Oliver luck, sons, and then character. Oliver luck that through angel. Okay, fine. Here's here's my seventy eight. I give them in terms of total approval rating job performance. I got up actually because he played well against Texas, and you're starting to see the spice some limitations. He's put up numbers, you know, especially since the started to season of all time greatness. I still have them below. The average I would say 'cause he hasn't lived up to those expectations. We talked about earlier best prospect since Jonah away. Stop characters high for me though. This Stanford. Guy who's never had any issues outside of injury that was an off season. No scandals nothing to report. And like I said, this is Oliver luck, son do I'm going to say where I'm struggling. What's opened the show talking about Andrew luck and you the media's been letting them get away with murder and baba. You have him at twenty five often Tissot ended have him just two points away from goats status. Overall, it doesn't seem to add up to the guy that was a little bit critical of Andrew luck earlier in the show. If you look at these these four categories, two of them are on the field and to our the field. And that's why he's getting past. 'cause he's winning the press conference. He wizard he's finicky has great character. Just the performance not living up to it, like we expect it.
