"Welcome to kits myths and mysteries. I'm your host. Ken crammed today in my month. Long investigation into the spirit world and ghost will go hollywood and then we'll look at some facts about goes. I'll start with a dark and stormy night. That's under ship. The trees from their very roots bolts of lightning struck. The earth surface burning holes deep into the soil. What was inside. The house was ten times as frightening. Livingston's had goes several black monstrous floating creatures. They would not lamps off. Tables push pictures off. Walls throw close out of closets and drawers. They killed the family. Dog fluffy and eight to guinea pig actor. The cats pugh brown phone from his mouth and moaned incessantly. Being the best with Tony Herbert, "Soldier"

"Podcast to seventy three. We were with anthony. Herbert tony herbert. Also known ass and we started off his journey from a kid growing up in pennsylvania surf. You haven't listened to podcasts. To seventy three goal of that right now. He tried to join the marines at fourteen. Fourteen years old credit eventually joined the army at seventeen off. The korean war went from private to master sergeant. All kinds of heroic actions suffered all kinds of wounds shot hit with frag white phosphorus burns and also bayoneted multiple times including one bayonet stabbed that broke off in his chest. He in the korean war served as a platoon leader even though he was just a young enlisted guy and eventually at the end of that podcast and at the end of that part of his life. Us pulled off the battlefield. One of the most decorated soldiers of the war sent on a morale at it was basically morale tour and i were flown back to the to the white house. President truman and then basically went to london and antwerp in brussels and the hague and all the other european allies that were fighting alongside america in the korean war along the way he met. Mrs eleanor roosevelt. She encouraged him to go to college. He kind of agreed of the quotes. He says in the book is he. He agreed because he was already master sergeant in the army and he said what am i going to do. Sit around the enlisted man's club telling stories about korea so he was sort of not not over it but he realized that he'd kinda done what he was going to do. So he ends up getting assigned as an rotc instructor at a high school in denver because he liked to ski goes to the third ranger class. That ever happened. He was in. He ends up getting married to his hometown. Sweetheart mary grace starts going to college or he then he gets out of the army then starts going to college at the university of pittsburgh while he's there he writes a book called conquest. No war nowhere. Which was his first book about the korean war which he later rewrote which we covered. What when it was rewritten was called the making of a soldier. That was podcast to seventy three for the most part worked at a steel mill at night while he was going to college and then eventually commissioned as an officer in the pennsylvania national guard. Shout out to the To two eight iron soldiers all right so so then he goes to the. He's back kind of in the army and he gets them warnings at the army's different now you know the war is over. The good people got out. We just left with people. That shouldn't even be in the army that got those kind of warnings but he stayed in. He loves being a soldier he wants to be. A soldier. goes the basic army. Infantry course wins nine out of ten awards there including the leadership trophy which is the leadership. Trophy is awarded by the other students. Like the other students select. Who deserves this leadership trophy. Then he gets assigned as a ranger instructor and he starts. He starts in the mountain phase. And so today we're going to be reading so the first book that we covered we covered a little bit so he's written two books he's written. Three one was conquest to know where that one got rewritten. As the making of a soldier that was the bulk of what we read last time. This time we're gonna read from his second book primarily and it's just called soldier called soldier and lots of lessons learned but as i mentioned in the first podcast in two seventy three. There's some serious lessons learned about life and things get really crazy when he goes to vietnam as a battalion commander and we will get there all right so here we go go go to the book soldier written by anthony be herbert and he says this teaching young men the essentials of mountain climbing combat and survival was more of a learning experience for me than for them. I began discovering things about the resources in me as well as the way the army was moving. I was an

Bird finds herself in the rare uncomfortable position of being the subject of some pretty scathing press. So she's fled. Dc to get out of the spotlight and come to hunt. Land and estate in middleburg virginia about an hour outside of washington. Lbj and lady. Bird had made high profile tours of appalachia. I mainly on poor whites for one of the administration's first initiatives it's war on poverty and they've quoted massive press coverage tv radio and prince. Johnson continues the president's attack on poverty as she travels to the economically depressed areas of kentucky. The forty five counties making up this area present one of the nation's worst pictures poverty several times. Mrs johnson holzer motorcade degreed local school children who have gathered along. The roadside ladybird has been a public face for this up until now the media has loved her. There's actually no vice president at the moment because lbj was the bp under kennedy and according to the constitution there's no automatic replacement for him lbj's going to announce a running mate at the convention in august at the press corps. Traveling with the first lady has started referring to her as mrs. vice president. How serious is that. i don't know not fairy. But they've clearly picked up on something real about the way. She works with lyndon in a typical piece. Editorial in the lexington herald in kentucky asks. Why not an lbj and lbj ticket. Look no farther lyneham. Your big problem of running mate for this fall is now solved. It's none other than that. Charming texan. lady. Bird johnson ladybird lasted off but all this recognition has also made her a target. Read the papers and absorb the shock. Aptitude republican congressman's visit to my tenants that i pogo county. A couple of gop congressman decided to take their own poverty. Tour to alabama where ladybird has almost four thousand acres used for cotton and timber farming that she inherited from her mother's family. The congressmen go see lady bird tenants and put out some grainy black and white photos showing their ramshackle conditions tin roof shacks with collapsing foundations. No running water basically. She's being made to look like a slum lord and those optics as they say in politics are terrible. It could have been worse. I've got to thank some way to turn it into. A constructed in ladybird been in public life for decades. And she's savvy about the press. She understands the story could deal them real political damage so her first constructive step was to avoid the press by getting out of town. That's what's brought her to hunt land back in. Washington linden's really struggling. His civil rights. Bill is stuck. In congress is war counseled dean rusk mcgeorge bundy and robert mcnamara all holdovers from kennedy are pressing him on vietnam and he has a raging toothache and i was almost asleep. A little after tway out. He called me. It was a sad happy. Talk large about the alabama tenants and about his restive desire to seek a way out of the burdens. He carries but the real source of his pain. He's actually thinking about not running. November linden is fundamentally insecure. He knows he wasn't elected that he's just there because kennedy was assassinated. He doesn't believe he has a mandate and he doesn't think he can win despite an approval rating of seventy four percent. You could argue that. This is all in his head but part of him. A big part just wants out ladybird invited. Lbj's to longtime doctors to drive out to hunt one for dinner Linden had a major heart attack at heartland almost ten years ago in nineteen fifty five. It's never really out of mind for either of them so at dinner that night with the doctors. She'd heard what they thought about his fitness. And we're going to give him a thorough medical going. The next morning and night we only talked about the psychological aspects. I don't know though that either one really understands the depth of his pain winning af faces up to the possibility of sending many thousands. American boys vietnam both ladybird linden can see the writing on the wall. Vietnam could easily derail his presidency. Their ambitions for civil rights the sweeping great society programs. He's just laid out for his doctors leave to go back. Washington bird hands them. An envelope marked personal but its contents are political to on the phone the night before linden had asked her to set out the pros and cons. I wrote at for london about a nine page analysis of what i thought he situation was. I she types out that press release. It's a bit of psychology. This is what it would feel like to announce you're not running. Then on a spiral bound steno pad ladybird writes those nine pages laying out his options This letter or what. I think is more accurately. Her strategy memo is been sitting at the lbj library forever. Pretty much overlooked by historians.

From Foster Care to VA Teacher of the Year Feat. Anthony Swann

"Read anthony that you grew up in the foster care system when you you think about growing up in foster care. How do you share getting past the trauma than seeing and knowing all the other potential you had. Do you have a moment in time. Do you have a person who influenced you question. Most definitely so. When i was taken to fall secure i was taken abruptly in the middle of the school day and i was sitting in fourth grade classroom and are distinctly. Remember social services Door and telling my teacher that they needed me to come with them and this was in front of all of my friends and saw felt embarrassed fell devastated and so ma teacher. I'm sorry i'm trying not to cry. My teacher came out in the hallway and she grabbed me and she hugged me. And she whispered in my ear and social services didn't even hear it but she whispered in my ear. She said anthony. Everything is going to be all right in that same teacher years down the road. She found me when i was fourteen years old and she began to pour into me as she began to. Just say i don't want you to grow up to be like your parents. I don't want you to get up to the system. I don't want you to go to jail. I want you to make something of yourself. And so by that time. I had started claims school. Because i'm gonna take all of my trauma and just put it into my academics loss to start playing school. I told her. I wanted to be a teacher. And she said that what you want to become. I'm going to support you in any way. That i can and so once. I was going to school and going to college and put amount self through college. My senior year did not have a car to get to my student teaching placement and she picked me up every single morning to take me to school before she had to be at school herself and to this day she still calls me and she still reminds me that. Everything's gonna be alright and she still tells me. Do you remember that. I told you at now get you. And so that was one of the persons who geared me. Because i was going the deep end because i didn't understand alive. I hated my life. Which that i was dead a. She took the extra mile because she saw something in me. So that i would not become part of the system as she pushed me to be great. Oh the love of a teacher in for her to recognize an anthony. I didn't wanna cry either. But the ability for that teacher to recognize into know and to see your face and to take that moment to run out and whisper that in your ear. That's everything right. That is just a moment. that probably is why you did not display school. You did school. You earned those achievements and wanting to become a teacher. Do you mind sharing her name. I would love for her to hear you give a shout out. Her name is mrs gerardo wilson. And she's still alive today. She's a retired educator for public schools. And she's just that's her name. Miss wilson we give you lots of hearts in love because that's a skill set anna an intuition that we all want to possess in hope that we can be that for that student in any student when you think about yourself now anthony and even before becoming teacher of the year. Do you see that you have that ability that other teachers see there something that he possesses that would benefit me had any encounters with other teachers where they want in are seeking out your advice. Yes a have. You seen before. Became virginia state teacher of the year or or even. Maybe it's happened since your name's been out there in your story is out there. There may be teachers. And i think i read this in one of the articles where a teacher heard. Your story heard your work with students and it's like how is he breaking barriers with students. In how can he help me. Yes so i was contacted by a teacher retired teacher. She was a mentor to a young male student and after her reading must stores. She contacted me and she said know. I just really have this student. I feel like that you can reach him because they're certain areas. I can't reach him in. Your story is so similar to history and so with the permission of the guardian traveled to meet with him. One one Share with him a story and he shared with me historic and at the end of that conversation. Before i left we have similar stories but before i left he looked at me and he says just more you know what anything is possible and that statement right there made all the difference because that is my platform is virginia teacher. The years to give hope to those students who find themselves in dramatic situations and emotionally disturbing homes to let them know that no matter the pieces that you may have been dealt. If they're broken take those broken pieces and build a bridge to better life in in heart of your platform you have. What i believe is part of your cooperative culture initiative of guys with ties. How did you create guys with ties. And can you share with our listeners. What the program is yes. So one day mock principal just came to me and she had this idea. She's just like see how you dress up every day. I think it'll be a program if we just have the fifth grade boys to dress up. Enticing me with him so she just really just threw something out there. And so we talk about how you can overcome rejection in las share with the story. We do service projects when we're talking about the cleanliness in the organization. We take time out with. We are meeting. We have a day where we go around. And we help the audience in the school to pick up trash to attack him the rugs and the school. We also have done a service project where we give all of. "There is a tech earnings avalanche ahead. How will these stocks react wants to results drop dig into the option Pittsburgh for more on that much more fast money to. Welcome back to pass money. We've got a huge slate of big tech earnings on Deck Tomorrow Apple Amazon Alphabet facebook all such report in what could be a pivotal day for the markets into the end of the year traders are betting. That's a monster moves could be in the cards for these names. My got the Action Mike. Yeah. So an unusual circumstance with all of them, stacking up their earnings like this, and the options markets are implying some pretty big move. Some pretty big stocks that have already moved quite a big amount apple which has moved about four point six percent over the last eight quarters right now, the options market is implying move about five and a half percent. We take a look at Amazon. Similarly, this is a stock that has moved about four point six percent over the course of the last eight quarters that one's implying a move of about five point, nine percent higher or lower facebook even more that has averaged about five and a half percent moves over the last eight quarters right now it's. Implying a move of about six point, seven percent higher or lower and Google Aka alphabet four point three percent average over the last eight quarters right now implying a move the smallest of the bunch of about five percent. But these are all huge companies that represent disproportionate share of the equity markets and when you measure market cap with a trillion then moves percents are tens of billions of dollars each. So we're looking at some pretty big anticipated move by the options markets when they report earnings. Wow Mike. Thank you my co, and of course, the full show options action Friday five, thirty, pm Eastern Time Win. How do you? How do you use implied particularly when we have seen big moves already. Well. Yeah. I mean I'm glad you asked. So the implied moves I think are really important one for earnings. Let's be honest right? It's somewhat of a coin flip you have no way of knowing and we've seen Carter pointed it out you experts that do this for a living yet you see beats and Mrs Right. So the implied moves are only going to be as good as a data inputs that you have but what they will tell you is what are normalized moves and when you see move outside of those ranges, those to me are where you start to establish buying and selling points. Karen which when you own a couple here in the group reporting tomorrow. So which one would it be following closely. It's it's hard to follow two things at once report things at once probably Google facebook. Apple Amazon in that order because I don't own Amazon but surely matters a lot that's going to be crazy to yeah, Tim. Well I still think we have a chance to get to forty five cash on the trip accused Nasdaq. One hundred, which would then be twenty-five percent pull back. But that that that should have been Carter Segment I. My my view is on Apple. You've got a case here where we pulled a lot of sales for it I have no issue being an investor. Of Apple all the way through this especially based upon the capital markets dynamics apples been money money money to anyone that stayed in the trade but I think you have to be very careful about the bar that was set from the last earnings profile into this one and I don't I. Don't expect the market to love the numbers tomorrow from Apple. Yeah. Guy You're smirking why why is that? Because just I mean he's just going all full out. Abba tonight. And I think out of all from facebook probably I loathe everything about face because then the stock I've said for a while and I think you know facebook proved itself wooded helped to forty five but I just want to mention. Bonna. When ice and we call him be icebreaker few weeks ago did a little bit of power power-pitch in I soar and there was clearly something in the air that night because Mon- man Fernando rock that soccer and it's worth mentioning. Had A monster move. So I just WanNa give my men. Shutout. Yeah. I thought immediately when the when the earnings cross the tape yesterday, we saw that eleven percent pop in the bottom and just quickly before we leave this, we got to know for all all those people out there who actually followed you followed you into that stock what are you doing? Well. They're they're trading into murky waters following me. Jokes aside what I'd be doing here is looking to put a stop in here mid mid eighties level where kind of base before I made that run hire and then keep in mind that listen it looks like the market is trending lower be ready to put casts for us I also looking at names like run solar power installation, blue sweep I. Think you're still well positioned I still think there's upside in the name. Okay let's talk about tomorrow today was really rough. This week has been really rough. So Karen you flip on your screen tomorrow morning what are you looking for? I'm looking for the VIX to move one way or another you know that whoosh down is kind of okay. If the market fills in after that I don't know we'll see you know we had some good earnings tonight. We had that good news that make told us about for regeneration maybe that changes sentimental I don't know. But I think the Vix is what you have to keep your eye on. Tim. How, about you? Yeah I WANNA watch oil also remember oils been one of these these. Canaries in terms of the volatility down oil a huge move down remember oil is what really led us down it's not the reason we went down, but it led us down back in February. So I, WanNa see some stabilization there. I want to see some recovery in in some of the mega cap..

"Sure two things that come off that one is people are waiting around to find Mr or Mrs Right. It's like here's something to think about man to put yourself on your feet right if you went to a party nufemme mister right and he looked at you and didn't run away screaming. That would indicate that he wasn't Mr Right at all right. It's like the old NICI and joke. If someone loves you that should immediately disenchant them right right. Or It's the Woody Allen Joke never belonged to a club that would take me as a member so so that's a that's an interesting. That's a very interesting thing to think about. And so you're going to shackle yourself to someone who's just as as imperfect as you are and then the issue is you you. You might be in a situation where you can actually negotiate because you might think. Well there's some things about you that aren't going to write and there's some things about me that aren't going so right and we're bloody well stuck with consequences for the next fifty years so we can. We can either straighten this out or we can suffer through it for the next five decades and you know people are of the sort that without that degree of seriousness. Those problems will not be solved. You'll leave things named because there's always a now it's like and it's the same thing when you're living together with someone you know that people who live together before they're married are more likely to get divorced not less likely and the reason for that is what exactly are you saying to one another when you live with each other. Just think about it well for now. You're better than anything else. I can trick. But I'd love to reserve the right to trade you.

Yeah I really think and get safe to say that yellowstone is the most iconic national park in the country. It's the first example people think of when they think of national parks and its most notable features like geysers. Here's and Bison and Grizzly bears and they've become synonymous with the National Park Service. Yeah that's definitely true and not only is yellowstone in American icon on. But it's the second largest national park in the contiguous. US It's one of the most visited parks in the country with more than four million visitors in most impressively of all. It's the oldest national park in the entire world which is crazy so not just the US yeah exactly the whole world when the park was first established in eighteen. Seventy you too. It was before any type of federally protected. Land was set aside anywhere on earth No country has ever done such a thing until the US. Mrs Right and this was decades. Before the National Park Service was even formed it was also be before Wyoming even became a state. I know yeah this is. It's it's really wild to think about but it's fantastic and one of the things I like. The most is how ironic it is then. The world's first national park may very very well be the thing that one day destroys all as this park sits on top of a giant super volcano that if it ever erupt again well and life on earth. Something living tells me that seatbelts won't help us very much in that situation. Well they they can't hurt but now if they want to help. "Walk around telling everybody he's going to get impeached. Just wait for her to it. Take her up so former national security adviser John Bolton in in an except from his upcoming book was apparently leaked which was apparently leaked to the New York Times. He's claiming he was in the room when you know who he said. He wanted to withhold security money from the Ukraine until they agreed to dig up dirt on the Bible's He's first person witness. Apparently yeah don't they need to get him on the stand. Well they keep begging for saying. Where's the first direct witness? They have mulvaney on television saying it was quid pro quo. And now they have Bolton saying it and they had Sun'll saying is going to believe those three or the man who to this day has told sixteen thous two hundred lies. Wow which one are you going to believe you've and we just showed that clip of Parnis who who trump also who says he doesn't know but when you have the the lawyers the Senate trial lawyers for trump saying there's first hand account no witness. Well I question whether or not the White House those lawyers knew what Bolton they did that somebody new in the White House. Bolton's Simon and Schuster sent the book to the White House which means those lawyers material omission in front of the Senate of material omission Russian in front of the Senate so that is an ethical problem for those lawyers and that's a legal problem for those ladies first of all and second of all. Doesn't that beg the question. Then you have to have those witnesses Mrs Right because now there's a material issue fact they've put it out there so you have one side saying there are no firsthand witnesses and you have the Democrats saying yeah we we do. You have some witnesses but not first hand witnesses because you prevented those witnesses from being here. It seems to me at this point. There's no question that we're gonNA hear from Bolton no question about it I think the title of his book is stupid. It's bad wells. Miranda should get royalties in the room where it happened it's not mine referencing which again I I think when Manuel Miranda should get money for him copying his title look it seems very Interesting that he's monitoring this so quickly that the moment it leaks The web page where you can buy. His book goes up immediately on Amazon his publishers. PUT IT UP I don't know what's happening here. I don't believe that someone like embassador Bolton who's a political animal for many many administrations automatically wakes up in has a conscience. I've said that before the show I just don't believe 'em to agree with that. Data got conscience. I think he's doing it because his pissed well he's started. He's the one that said fire. Something is wrong. This is what happened and everybody took it from there. So I think he'd be supposed to rendezvous that he will go for the witnesses and Susan Collins. We can't trust for as far as we can throw her said. I've always said that I was likely to vote. To call witnesses. Justice One thousand nine hundred ninety nine Clinton trial. The reports about John Bolton's built strengthened strengthen the case for witnesses and have prompted a number of conversations among my colleagues. Yeah you know. It's not quite there but they seem to be moving in that direction. We'll say it seems like this John. Bolton I've failed lit the fire. He lit the fire and said okay. "Okay. Maybe they're trying something different here. In this one especially I was like I'm not saying like Jake Jehovah's right but he is right kind of two point. Oh yeah which I think is the thing that's interesting about. Both of these movies the fact that they do deal a lot with Tony Stark from the angle of like yeah. This guy wasn't totally great all the time like he fucked over a lot of people and I really like that you know <hes> and your to your point about leaving the military industrial complex. I feel like a lot of these movies. Have <hes> been all about like kind of dismantling that all the I remember about that you know the captain. American movies were about that in a lot of ways. I think homecoming is sort of about that. I don't think it's like promoting it or saying Mrs Right. I think it's just looking at like how the cycles of these these things go well. I would say the Captain America movies do a better job of it you know but I don't think it works in the ironman movies because in the ironman movies instead of saying that while instead of going through I'll just do it myself but he's not really stopping you know and again because he doesn't stop it you know Spiderman is left to kind of foot the bill interesting okay well. The thing is an like to to that to to him kind of being left to pick up all the pieces. That's one of the things I like about this movie and the fact that like Peterson Arc. Work is like a weird kind of inverse of homecoming arc shirt homecoming. He's all about now. He's exactly that is this kind of kid is done and I want to get out there and you know be here now and then I like in this one that he's like. I don't care about the shed. I'm trying to just like go on this trip. I like kiss this girl and not be Spiderman for five minutes. I still have to deal with all Tony. Stark's bullshit see I actually found that to be even more annoying really yeah because now at this point Spiderman knows the level of severity that these events can lead to yeah and he's still not really choosing to do the right thing. You know he's Kinda taking a selfish perspective of I just WanNa kiss a girl and it's like they're telling you that this molten man fuck is is literally could destroy the entire planet and we already know the possibilities of what that is and you're still like. I don't know my costume bullshit that would that would have bugged me if it had been him going. I don't want to be Spiderman anymore and I'm definitely definitely is the thing you know. I'm I'm definitely curious coming out of the movie where they're going to go forward in general yeah usually in lake comic books. Whatever you have a big event yeah? You have a year of nothing which I think that's kind of what yeah we're we're. We're at right now and I like that I like how with this Florida. There's not a lot of like a big. Here's the next big thing yeah. There's you know like I'm pretty sure whatever the next big thing is will be. "For Lizzie during her? Stay years earlier. Mrs right had lived in Fall River when meeting Lizzy at the jailhouse. She was surprised to find. She already knew her. She asked Lizzy quote. Are you not the Lizzie Borden who has a child used to play with my daughter Isabel and quote Lizzy nodded her head? Yes. Both women were brought to tears Lizzy spent the rest of the evening sobbing with MRs right, comforting her throughout her ten day. Stay at the Tonton jailhouse. Newspapers built anticipation for Lizzie trial positing endless theories for who the real killer could be and predicting how. Along it would be until she suffered a complete breakdown masses were held in Liz's honor praying that she returned quickly to Fall River. Her innocence became a foregone conclusion every day more people believed, she was a Patsy a victim and unfortunate woman wronged by a broken system. Edwin h porter points out that while the word unfortunate was used often to describe Lizzy in print. It was never once used to describe the victims whose deaths were not nearly as heartbreaking as Lizzie imprisonment. The trial was scheduled back in Fall River at two pm on Monday, August twenty second eighteen ninety two nearly three weeks after the murders in order to evade onlookers Lizzy arrived at the courthouse. Three hours early before crowd. Started gathering. As two o'clock, drew near the courthouse was filled with law students and an unusual number of physicians. They had an interest in the victims toxicology reports and the multiple hatchet wounds. Such violent cases were rare after all two o'clock came and went, but Lizzy is legal team comprised of three lawyers, and their assistance had not arrived. Soon. It was two thirty to forty five. The court was becoming agitated no one had communicated. They would be late at two fifty Liz's lawyers arrived asking for the trial to be rescheduled expert witnesses who were scheduled to testify were still examining vital artifacts from the home of the deceased. They were unable to appear until they concluded their reports the trial was postponed three days until August twenty fifth a few days later the night before the trial, something very odd happened between Lizzie and her sister, Emma, when it first appeared in newspapers people called it fake Elida prejudice the public against Lizzy. It has since however been confirmed by Lizzie guard and caretaker matron Reagan who overheard it Lizzie was sitting on a cot waiting with Regan in the matrons room where prisoners held supervised visits when m Borden walked in. Liz. Immediately asked you gave me away. Didn't you m replied, I only told Mr. Jennings? But I thought he ought to know Lizzy was agitated she said remember Emma that I will never give in one inch never Lizzy then lay down on the cod turned her back to her sister and allowed an hour to pass without saying word, Emma, then exited the jailhouse no one knew what the sisters were discussing. But the conversation was soon picked up by several papers leaked by matron Reagan or someone she'd told within a day members of Lizzie church prepared a document stating the conversation never took place. They attempted to force matron Reagan to sign it. But she refused. Bringing the matter before Marshall Rufus b Hilliard the Marshall prohibited. The matron from signing the document in an attempt to stop the harassment when Mr. Jennings found out he was irate he perpetuated a newspapers. Story that the matron was being refused. A right to deny the account which was technically true, but Jennings didn't mention that the matron had never wanted to deny the conversation at all. Now, the public was unsure what to believe all they knew was that their unfortunate Lizzy was stuck in a jail cell. The next morning at Lizzy is hearing so many people flooded the courthouse steps that roads were closed for blocks inside the courthouse. Over fifty reporters were present their elbows touched as they wrote. This public scrutiny was taking its toll on everyone involved in the case, not just the Bordon's the police force, lawyers and presiding judge were under immense pressure. As Lizzie trial was quickly becoming a pervert Buell circus. So much. So that a strange occurrence took place the first day Lizzy entered the courtroom, whether it began consciously or not no one can say, but the moment she walked into the room the audience stood in reverence proceedings began late because of how long it took to seed everyone. I testify was medical examiner Dolan. He described Andrews wounds, which were the most ghastly he'd ever observed abbey's were even worse Lizzy is lawyers objected to Dolan reading directly from his notes since his description was so graphic. They also objected to his assertion that Abby was murdered two hours before Andrew their objections. However were overruled next to testify was architect. Thomas Kieran who designed the board in home by showing blueprints. He demonstrated how improbable it would be for someone to break in and commit to murders completely unseen by Lizzie and Bridget again. When Lizzie is lawyers objected on grounds of overgeneralization the next day, John Morse recounted his whereabouts. The morning of the murders. His niece confirmed his alibi. And he was never a suspect in the case. Bridget sullivan. The made was called to the stand next. She confirmed repeatedly that she locked every door of the house that morning and even had

"Whatever. Jason. Oh, you're right. Joel. I don't so MRs right? Nobody like, no. I did not to talk to you. There's Royal people talk to you. I know that you're right. They're very loyal. Nobody would talk to the only one that would out of our friend group, our friend. Chris secretly talked to me when nobody else was around because she didn't want to start any fights. But then nobody talked to me you guys had such a great time. And this is where the universe. You know, everything happens for a reason we ended up having a horrible night with. I ended up having a horrible angel. I know imagine that. And then the next day, you know, no matter what city you're from. There's always a post prompt tradition. And in our town, one of the things you could do was go to the six flags. It was called grana. It's called Great America. So we got we were going to drive the great American the next day. And I had a I had some money, and I told angel that I was gonna pay for everything. Well, we get all the way to Chicago. Because it's outside of Chicago. We missed ever this out far. It's so close to Wisconsin Kaga like going shopping. I don't care. You guys had a good day. And so we did not go to Great America. No. We went all the way so lax dawn. Mytalkers, we drove. So all of us are driving. I'm sorry. My friends that spoke to me angel and then to others that I normally didn't hang out with we drove all the way to Great America. We get to Great America. We get to the box office. And I put my hands in my pocket. I had accidentally tipped because we rented a limo all of the money that I had saved for me an angel from Great America accidentally given all of that money to the limo driver the night before. And I and I had no money. My family is my whole world. That's.

"And when I went to seek you out and to ask you for what you could do on behalf, you know what you can do, what God could do told me, no, you need to keep this quiet. I think religious communities are going to wrestle with that reality as well. Religion create a lot of the chaos in the world. I fundamentally believe the interpretation and misuse of religion causes significant challenges. Yes, you're constantly negotiation for peace traveling. Ninety percent of the time you said doing conflict resolution essentially, right with different countries and different builders and. Region, religion often comes up or misuse of religion, religion, and cultural norms. So in Arabic, and I mentioned it in my tedtalk. There are two key words. I always heard when I was growing up ham, which means like religiously forbidden and by which is culturally inappropriate and in most cultures around the world, those to cross a lot more than you would expect. Yeah, there's a huge gray line there. So for example, you'll have conversations and I had them pretty recently actually with friends who are devout Catholics who will tell me this is religiously prohibited. When really it's more socially culturally not expected or not appropriate to MSA Minnesota them. You'll always have these conversations where you begin to challenge them and you say white. That's not actually what religion says, but that is what we've been told for a very long time and what we dictate is normal and what we dictatorship acceptable and what we then teach our kids in what we are kids teach their kids. So I mean, I always give the example of when I started my my organization, my grandpa is old school like. Was very old school couple years ago, but was very old school. And when I started my organization, he had a lot of trouble with heels like, why? What are you talking about when he because he said, women are empowered, what women can't sometimes women are. Yeah, he's like, there aren't. If a woman wants to do something she can do it. You don't meet organizations for women to move things forward. He was a very, like if you pick yourself up by the bootstraps, you'll move forward. But then and that same token he'd be like, women are meant to like, you know, really sustain the community and the family. They don't need to be at peace negotiations. They don't need to be talking about the intricacies of security. It was interesting because having those conversations with him made me realize and I did it too. I was super agent about the way approach things when you go to somebody and want to change their mind about something and you're like, well, MRs. Right? You should do this. This is right, and I, I'm a dad innards. I'd be like statistically ninety percent of peace processes filled within five years when women are included there, thirty five times more likely to last fifteen years and then years of facts, and you're not intelligent..

"So a little bit more MS and MRs right after this and then we'll move onto some other matches on this loaded summertime, car. And I'm really. A, you know, total divas Toda Balas all that stuff. But I have one that's, you know, MS and MRs and it's and it's good. You know what should have to on Monday. And I was like, it is too. I find that that's what I like to what I've I've seen very little miss and MRs, but I'm actually based on what people are saying, do want to spend a little time watching it. It's not a big time commitment like twenty one minutes if you if you are committed to the commercials. And what I'm hearing is they actually come across as genuine and likeable. And that has fueled a little bit of my curiosity of whether there is something about MS and it's only because of the road he's traveled and the fans doing it with them where there is a potential. I don't know. I wanted to overstate and say, breakout baby face potential, but successful effective baby-faced potential for him at a top level because he said in a month or so ago on the FOX deal was announced. I want. To be the top star on smackdown on FOX. And I really like when wrestlers not in a delusion away like Enzo maybe saying something kinda, you're like, you're not quite there yet kid back, but you put the years in that MS. I like when somebody has spy aims high aspires high sets that goal and it seems a little beyond the conversation on them, but aspirational and it gets you to look at things. Look at them maybe through different lens. You see that they have goals, MS does, and I sort of see him making that effort. So I'm kind of curious if that if the reality show isn't going to help in that way because I mean, they're the moment like with every ballot he shoe or it's like, okay, this is a setup. This is no, it's a, you know, I've had it that that's controversial. Yeah, right. It's like and especially anytime much any any moments, total divas. Let's say, I'm like, this is just assure. Especially the way that the women are portraying it on that show. And then you see the actual products like he and this is nonsense. But I mean this seeing on Iraq like candies to really aren't love. You know these to really enjoy being together and they complement each other. So, well, you know, they do on wron smackdown they have, then there shooting. It's hard to hate somebody who so likable you really? Yeah. So what what? I'll ask you this someone move out of some of these other matches, but what do you expect by summer slime in their match? Do you have any kind of expectation for what story they're going to tell them what the finish is going to be in that? That's a good question. I'm, I'm always it's funny the the more because I'm just a. I've been into wrestling my whole life and as each year passes I get into even more and I have found that the more I get into it, the less I get less good. And that's what I getting things. Yeah, because I'm like, you know what I mean? Where I feel like it is only the casual fan. Like, you know, my wife who doesn't watched it all, or you know, unless podcast Tom simply is, you know, he's the new fan and he's doing the show and he's been watching for five years and he can kind of things covering. Whereas, you know, if they're really not a birthday, I I know somebody's gonna wind up wearing the Kate, you know. But I mean as far as like going into a match, how do they stand have by own eye Jesus, you know? But I mean seeing where they're gonna go or what is gonna I, it's Sean surprise. Every time you know it's just which is the joy of it for me. I think just that I'm still able to be, you know, I wanna be worked like, I'm begging, you know? Yeah. It's gonna take me for take me for a ride. That's what I want three -actly. They're gonna have so much. You know, MS spending..

"Sirak he's one of the instructors with Online Trading Academy what's up Mike everything's great, great to have you here in south Florida looking pretty down. Here well I live in Tampa so that's an. Easy transition Easy transition, just a, couple of our drive so let's dive right. Into, it you know kind of give us a little about kind of you know what your background. And you know what's going on in the markets all right, well I've been training for twenty years I started. Trading stocks back in the late nineties great time to do it technology bubble internet bubble a lot of. Volatility and then I moved into futures. And eventually options. Now I'm pretty much just a day trader futures. In a swing trader of options contract okay, so we're gonna talk a lot about you. Know these different types of markets and and what could be eventually traded in but you know what do you think was going on with all this news. Going on here in the financial markets what should people. Be worried about out there yeah well that's a great question if you take a look. At it if anybody's accustomed to watching. The markets what you'll recognize is that two thousand. Seventeen was, a. Really nice. Slow low volatility up trending year in the market eight nineteen percent. That's, a great year that's, twice as good as it's The average gain over the. Last sixty. Years, so so that kind of marketplace. Kind of tells you hey just sit and let it happen but but what happened, in January, January went straight up the, market changed character in January it started to grow. Really really fast and you know the retail public out there the people that don't look. At. The market on a daily basis Blake, what they, see when it starts going up as they feel complacent they feel good, they feel like, oh man I'm making money and it's easy but you know what traders feel when we see it? Goes straight up right straight down this exactly? Right. Because, prices always fall faster. Than they go up so if it's, going up really fast then I'm saying, it's gonna come down really really fast and I mean in history, shows that what happened February market came the first two weeks down. Really really strong and. That was the change in regime The market changed from a, slow, grinding trend. Up to high volatility in fact so you something those first two weeks of February wiped out the, prior hundred, and fourteen days of market games wow Yeah so here we are in a high volatility market and, is that good for sitting around. And hoping stocks go up no way, no way what's really, good is timing the. Market trading the market as like we teach it if the at, the academy. But now now think about this let's talk about, some more recent events Facebook MRs earnings drops twenty five percent. Overnight Are we going to call. That a little loser big move big move yeah a lot of people got really really hurt on that and what happened Twitter MRs. Right afterwards so listen the real real crux. Of it, all came to what apple was going to do like when apple was coming out, with earnings, the other day if it was a miss then this whole market would have rolled? Over it was almost a sensual that, apple come out? Positive because you get those three tech giant's falling all on the same earnings, cycle then. You're. Going to see, the market role in fact apple is so highly coordinated, with the market, right now and for obvious reasons it's I mean, what is it four percent of the. Whole market valuation where it, is. Right now so I look at this and say, you know what here we are almost back up to the full? All time, high in. January I'm worried absolutely and you know I'm worried out there too because a lot of people like you said, been just ride the markets up. On auto pilot really for the last. Couple, of years and you know it's the Same thing that happened, in the nineties you made money you. Lost it in, two thousand Yeah you. Got scared you put your money back in the market so four zero five oh six you got hammered to get in. Two thousand eight in the markets have gone really straight up, since March two thousand nine and these people were jumping in or. You fat and happy you're bound to get slaughtered and get killed in the. Financial markets and that's a big thing, listeners out there you need to have a plan so what I'm gonna do right. Now so many twenty passes for half day class, on planning for the next market crash what you can do. To protect your retirement accounts what you can do to make money from these market crashes the only people who lose money from these.
